The Drone Project is Now in 360 Video

Allshouse Designs has built a drone and put a 360 cam on it. Also part list provided so you can build one too!

Here at Allshouse Designs, we often gravitate towards projects that interest us the most. We pride ourselves in enjoying every aspect of our business. After all, is that not the point of owning your own business? To mold it into something you enjoy coming to everyday. Of course it is!

As many of you already know, one of the recent projects we have started is the build of our video drone. We have launched one video already giving an introduction to how it looks in the air with our Samsung Gear 360 camera mounted.

Well, the video we are launching next is going to feature one of our good friends, DUBL_AFPV over on Instagram, flying the drone around his backyard course. This should give an idea as to how the camera operates while moving at high speed. It also demonstrates the handling and speed of the drone itself.

DUBL_AFPV or Aaron, has been flying drones for a few years now and has built too many of them to count. So it would make sense we would have him fly our drone, sense Matt is still in the learning process.

If you are interested in building a drone like the one you see in the video be ready to spend some cash. In case you are interested in what we have and would like to build your own, here is what we have:

All in all, we spent about 6 hours of our time getting this drone built and about $500. We still need to get the ever important FPV goggles and will be going with the FATSHARK V3 Dominators. After all said and done the drone cost is going to be about $850.

Now, that cost is not the cost for all drones. Once you purchase the Radio and goggles you do not need to purchase them again. This means each drone can run you about $300 depending on your needs. Not to bad if you ask me.

I want to give a special thank you to Aaron (DUBL_AFPV) for helping with the build process. Check out some of his awesome videos on his YouTube Channel. A big thank you to Honor Hall for providing us with the music for the video.

If you have any questions about the parts that we chose to use and want to build your own, feel free to contact us at any time.

Thank you and stay tuned for that video!

[…] I worked on this for a gentleman it was. It was a request. I have to give I have to make sure that I make the right comment on this doe, so bear with me a second I’m sitting here trying to do this. The same time, there is a cool quad that I made for someone, and it’s actually, I believe or a child, that he knows, and I don’t know the full story behind it. But all I know is I’m really proud of this project. […]
