New! Business Directory Listing Service

Here at Allshouse Designs, we are always looking for new, user-friendly ways to help our fellow business owners and potential clients.

We are excited to announce that we have partnered up with 40 plus high domain authority business directory sites. What does this mean for you? Well, you have an opportunity to have your business listed on them. To get started with this opportunity.  We have put together a scan tool. The scan tool will take your business information that you enter in and compare it to the business listings in the directories. Once it is done it will give you a nice report.

The scan tool for directory listings
Report from the Scan Tool

This tool is absolutely free to try and as you can see. It can give you an idea on how your brand is listed. The tool is also extremely easy to use and takes only a few minutes. After the scan is complete, you will receive a report just like the one above. With this information in front of you, it can help you make some decisions as to ways to fix this or… you could hit the CONTINUE TO FIX button at the bottom of the screen and let Allshouse Designs fix these issues for you.

This is where our service kicks in. The service is an annual subscription and creates the ability to fix, add and update information about your business on every directory at the same time. You can even add content, videos, and social media links on most of the directories. With this service we will send you reports about your listings on a monthly basis. Over all this service makes your business look more consistent and that is good for search engines.
We are in the middle of adding a couple other great tools to the service that will benefit your business. If you sign up today, there will be no additional charges to take advantage of the new tools. So what are you waiting for, run the scan tool today and see what pops up. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

The Drone Project is Now in 360 Video

Allshouse Designs Racing Drone

Here at Allshouse Designs, we often gravitate towards projects that interest us the most. We pride ourselves in enjoying every aspect of our business. After all, is that not the point of owning your own business? To mold it into something you enjoy coming to everyday. Of course it is!

As many of you already know, one of the recent projects we have started is the build of our video drone. We have launched one video already giving an introduction to how it looks in the air with our Samsung Gear 360 camera mounted.

Racing drone 360 YouTube Video

Well, the video we are launching next is going to feature one of our good friends, DUBL_AFPV over on Instagram, flying the drone around his backyard course. This should give an idea as to how the camera operates while moving at high speed. It also demonstrates the handling and speed of the drone itself.

DUBL_AFPV or Aaron, has been flying drones for a few years now and has built too many of them to count. So it would make sense we would have him fly our drone, sense Matt is still in the learning process.

If you are interested in building a drone like the one you see in the video be ready to spend some cash. In case you are interested in what we have and would like to build your own, here is what we have:

The Racing Drone
The Racing Drone

All in all, we spent about 6 hours of our time getting this drone built and about $500. We still need to get the ever important FPV goggles and will be going with the FATSHARK V3 Dominators. After all said and done the drone cost is going to be about $850.

Now, that cost is not the cost for all drones. Once you purchase the Radio and goggles you do not need to purchase them again. This means each drone can run you about $300 depending on your needs. Not to bad if you ask me.

I want to give a special thank you to Aaron (DUBL_AFPV) for helping with the build process. Check out some of his awesome videos on his YouTube Channel. A big thank you to Honor Hall for providing us with the music for the video.

If you have any questions about the parts that we chose to use and want to build your own, feel free to contact us at any time.

Thank you and stay tuned for that video!

Allshouse Designs EP8 | Sales Funnel Concept

A 3 stage sales funnel

Here at Allshouse Designs, we pride ourselves in providing the best possible information to everyone. Whether that be with your small business, website, or social media profiles. We enjoy providing this information to you and will continue to do so.

Over the years, there has been many lessons learned while experimenting with our own company and we want to be sure you can avoid some of those headaches by following our blog and our YouTube channel. One important piece of valuable information we would like to provide you with is an explanation of the sales funnel concept.

A sales funnel is a marketing strategy designed to lead a consumer through a process that ultimately ends with them becoming your customer. There are three main categories within the sales funnel; at the top, you have your leads, then prospects, then you finish with your customers. When you see this in diagram form, it looks like a funnel – hence the name “Sales Funnel”.

A sales funnel always starts with the same step, Generating Leads. One of the easiest and most common ways of generating leads is with a landing page. A landing page is the first page most people will see when they visit your site via a link. The purpose of this page is to educate potential leads about a problem that your business can solve. Often, at the bottom of the page they have forms on them or boxes where people can put in their contact details to hear more about a solution to their problem. This provides you with a means to contact them and follow up on your leads.
Now, I could go into explaining the next steps to a sales funnel, but, why not have Alec Allshouse tell you himself. Click on the video link on this page to hear everything you need to know about a sales funnel and how to apply it to your business strategy.

We are Sponsoring a Race Car!

Race Car driven by Jon Roberts

Here at Allshouse Designs (Matt and I) will be taking on a huge project for 2018. We will be part sponsoring a race car. That is correct, Matt and I have been gear heads for most of our lives. From rebuilding motors to switching out brakes. We have done it all. Our Good friend Jon has purchased a race car that needs a little bit of work. From suspension to fixing up the body. The car will be entered into the Mini Stock Division at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington. With seven racing seasons under his belt. It should be an interesting year.

Jon Roberts started racing Quarter Midgets at 10 yrs old. Now at the age of 34. He has been the owner/driver of 4 different cars. With-in the seven racing seasons, Jon has won 24 main events. The plan is to have the car ready by March 3rd which is the first available dates for open track practice. We anticipate that the car will need 120-man hours put into it to be ready for March 3rd.

As far as the next steps in making the car race ready. We will be focusing on going through the suspension and converting the car to a coil over type suspension. The car will also be getting a fresh engine. Along with replacing a few panels to be able to give the ca a fresh coat of paint.

The cam gears on a 2.0 ford mottor
This is the current motor in the race car. We will be pulling it and replacing it with something a little bigger and brand spanking new.

We are very excited to create blog posts and videos to keep our friends, family and our community updated with the progress of this project. Racing, modify and repairing cars has been a long-time hobby for Matt and I. We hope that everyone will enjoy being apart of the experience in fixing up the car and being with us during the 2018 racing season in the Mini Stock Division.

Jon Robert says it best, “Man and machine working together as one, there isn’t anything else like it. Races and championships are won at home in the garage. They say the separation is in the preparation and the sport of stock Car racing was built on ingenuity and out engineering your competitors. It’s all about the time you put in during the weeks between races, driving the car is just a small part of it.”

You Should Really Advertise your Content!

Content advetising and marketing written on a notepad

When designing a website and beginning your online marketing journey, content is king. Your content might better describe the services you provide, it might provide answers to specific questions that customers have, it might even have advice and tips on matters related to your services or your target market. Writing great content is as important to your site as good design, if not more important. But if you’re not advertising that content, you could be missing out on its full potential.

Improve awareness

Your content is one of the most valuable aspects of your website. If it’s written well, it’s designed to draw conversions and referrals. It’s marketing material, so treat it as such. Make sure that it’s visible. Content that isn’t visible won’t be read and if it’s not read, it’s a waste of your time and efforts. Advertising your content improves awareness of it across the board. It becomes significantly more visible, drawing in new readers and unique site users. From there, those new site users can go on to continue exploring your site and could become brand new customers. Content is one of the most cost-effective ways to turn traffic into customers, but only if people can actually see it.

Search engines will love you

The vast majority of internet user use search engines like Google on a regular basis. If they have a problem they don’t know how to fix, they will look at Google. If they want to find out who provides a specific service in their area, they will Google it. If they want to stay updated on a certain issue, they will search for it. Advertising your content well improves your search rankings, meaning that the content is more likely to appear at the top of searches relevant to what it offers the reader. But it also improves the search ranking of your website as a whole, not just that one page. That means any further content or web pages you create will benefit from the boost provided by content marketing.

Build a stronger brand

If your content is written well and provides real value to readers, whether describing a service or providing insight, information, and advice, it also has real value to the business. It does more than fill in the gaps of your website. It can be used to establish a better online presence. The more fresh, quality content you have out there, the more your business grows an online brand as a place for expert information. It builds a legitimacy and prestige through quality information that means that people are much more likely to trust the content, trust the website, and thus trust the brand. With the sheer number of dubious sites and businesses on the internet, building that trust and standing out as “one of the good ones” is crucial.

Go social

The internet is becoming a more and more interconnected experience. Now, we don’t just consume what appeals to us, we share it with the world, as well. A social media presence is almost essential for a business hoping to grow online. But that social media presence isn’t just about having accounts and talking to the community. By advertising your content on social media, you make it much easier for others to share. Share worthy content can get you significantly more referrals and conversions that direct marketing. Take advantage of the online community’s habit of sharing what they love. Craft content they will love, market it, and watch them continue to market it for you.

Gathering data

The information you gain from the analytics tracking not only those who click those advertisements but those who go on to read your content. It helps you further understand who you’re writing to, what they want, and what content strategies work best for you. Content marketing is also one of the primary ways that business build leads to later convert. In fact, companies that blog or produce content regularly generate 62% more leads on average than those that don’t. Create “lead bait” content, content that’s designed to grab the reader’s interest, and urge them to learn more about you. The more they learn about the business, the more likely they are to become partners. You can then go on to further nurture those leads with impressive calls-to-action or email marketing signups.

The benefits of advertising your content, not just your services, are clear. Content targets the market’s wants directly, improves your brand’s reputation and can create unsuspecting new customers. Let Allshouse Designs take your content to the next level and fulfill its true potential by advertising it directly to your market.
