Buffer Review (Social Media Management Tool)

What exactly is that social media management is a tool that you use to schedule your posts on your social media profiles ahead of time, one of the things when you start at your new business. You have this list of all these things that you need to do. There’s this, I always say, there’s all these pieces of a puzzle and you need to put them together and every person needs to figure out what works best for them like.

How am I going to schedule my time, one of the things when you’re scheduling, instead of looking at every day, I need to do ABCD and E to start looking at chunking your time. So once you understand what those puzzle pieces are, then you can start chunking that information you’re not really going to know all of that in the beginning, and just all you just keep learning all those pieces if that makes sense, but one of the things you’re doing Is posting whether you’re posting making YouTube articles because you want to promote your business with search engine, optimization or you’re? Doing your business using social media? There’s two different kinds of marketing: this buffer is for people, that market went social media, so you’re marketing on Facebook or Instagram Twitter.

Those different things that you’re looking for engagement, okay and maybe you’re bored, maybe you’re posting ads or things like that. So buffer is a system where you can go in and schedule ahead of time, so I’m going to Chuck my posting, so I might take one day every month and let’s say I want to post four times a week in my Facebook on my Facebook. Maybe I want to post five times on Instagram or daily or whatever it is.

You can go in and post for the entire month and just sit there in one day and knock it out. Now you might say: well that’s a lot. That’s like nine post day! Well, you can use the same post for your Facebook as you do Instagram, and that’s what you’re going to see what’s really cool about buffer, you can kind of go to different platforms in one one push of a button and that’s what I love about this one.

All right, so, let’s look at some. The first thing I want to jump into. I know everybody first thing they want to know is well how much does it cost, because, especially when you’re new you’re, always pinching, pen and you’re, always looking for that way to make money online and not spend any money? But I want to tell you – and we all fought that way in the beginning and then the more you dig in you find out.

Yes, you do have to spend money who need certain tools for your business and that’s why I wanted to do this series on different social media platforms or tools, because I want you to really research and pick the one that’s best for you and they’re all different. So I’m not doing a tutorial, we’re not going in and I’m not showing you how to use it, because every single tool, every single one of these platforms, that I’ve been sharing they go in and they’ll, give you a tutorial and teach you how to do it And most of them give you a 30-day free trial or two week free trial, so you can go in and and do it for free.

I do have a playlist that I am creating. The link is below where I have all of these different social media tools, management tools that I’ve been reviewing they’re all there. So if you like, what you see – and you want to look at other ones – then hit the playlist link below, doesn’t cost you anything just go down there and look and see what else is out there and again I don’t have everything on the planet down there.

I’r just building this and as I find them, I’m offering them to you, so you can see which one’s best for you, because I think understanding and getting the one that’s best, for you is the most important thing in your business without going out and wasting a Lot of money, so this one here when I went to look at the pricing it there is a free account, but I want you to look at right away. Everyone says: oh, it’s a free account.

I’r going to take that before you even do any research. I want you to decide how many platforms, how many of my platforms do. I want to schedule my posts on and then what does my schedule look like, and I want you to do that before you even start digging into these okay, and this is why look at here it says: pricing, free, okay, so it’s free for free who doesn’t Like free, but one, you can only be on three social accounts.

Now you might say. Well, you know what I’m only on two, so that works. Excellent three is not bad, that’s not even a negative, but another thing. It says one user, that’s fine to your one-man, show right now. You don’t really have anybody that you’re hiring. This, isn’t your business where you’re out posting for other people, one is perf. This is the thing you need to look at. You can only schedule 10 posts.

A month, that’s not going to do you any good, you might as well be scheduling daily because you’re going to be getting on there every other day scheduling those 9 posts that we just talked about. So I personally, if you have that information laid out, I think the pro account looks better, because here you can go on to 8 different social accounts and again you may not have a let’s stick with the two.

But if you go down, you can schedule a hundred posts, so you probably could schedule six weeks out if you’re doing nine posts a day four on Facebook, five on Instagram, you could schedule out and not add six weeks and get that knocked down. So, look at that. You want the tool to help you, you don’t want it to become frustrating and one more thing that you have to read. So what you do is you post out for six months and then put on your calendar? Okay, I need to do this again.

Another chunk of time this day, I’m going to dedicate to it six weeks from now, and that’s all I’m going to do all days, get my posts on there now something that buffer does. That, I think, is another big big plus is they are known for their queue and you’re like well? What does that mean? They have a queue where you can keep all of your posts and you can recycle them again, so that is a plus some of these social media platforms do not allow you to do that.

There’s some different. You know situations so you got to read for that kind of stuff, but this one does you’re able to do that. Now. Here’s a picture. I told you, it was like a button that you just hit. Well, you could say: look I’m on Facebook and Twitter and LinkedIn, and I want to post this one thing on the all three account. So you make your posts down here and then you go. Okay, click! Click! Click! I want to put it on all three of them and then down at the bottom.

You schedule it on this certain day. Now, typically, if most of your followers probably aren’t on all of your accounts, but if you’re somebody that maybe a lot of your followers are, then that might not be something that you want to do is post the same thing. Three times you got ta, you know pay attention to your audience, but a lot of people tell me you know what I don’t have the same people following me on Twitter as I do Instagram it’s two different groups of people, and so, if that’s true, then just Click it and put the same post, but look how easy that is, and then it goes into a queue like a list where it saves it, and you can go back in and recycle it now.

You might say. Well how often should I recycle my posts? I from what I’ve read you want to take recycle every two to three months. So if you have three months worth the posts, just go back in and recycle them again, and maybe you can mix them up and maybe add some new stuff. So this isn’t something you’re going to constantly be doing so then, when you go back to that chunk of time where you say today is posting scheduling day, it gets easier and easier because you’re just adding in some fresh information and recycle information and recycling, some old Information, so that’s where this online business stuff starts to get easier, because a lot of the foundational work that you have to do is in place and ready for you to keep using it.

So I just wanted to give you that one little tip all right. Here’s an example of how you schedule you can go in and say these are the exact times that I want to schedule and on the exact days, and you can go in there and change it up like I said you might look at your analytics and it Might say you know nobody is looking at your stuff on Sundays, nobody’s even clicking it. Well, maybe you won’t post on Sunday after that, or maybe only post once that day, just to keep your posts going and fresh.

So those are things to look at now. I’r going to show you the pros and the cons and remember I have been going over some other already. So let’s talk about the pros and the cons of using buffer a pro, it’s very easy and simple to follow. Once you go in there, you can use that free account and, like I said, if you’re serious, you already know, you’ve gone in and used the trial account. You know this is what you want.

I highly recommend you move up to that that next account for $ 15 a month and it’s very good with scheduling. You can do it throughout the week and you can adjust each schedule for every day. So you don’t have to go in and say and every single day I’m doing the same thing. You can change it up here and there and it has very limited analytics but it’ll be enough. Remember buffer is not a one-stop shop like sprout social sprout where sprout social, sprout social is a one-stop shop and it does everything it gives you like who’s following you, what kind of engagement I mean it really goes into detail if you’re only looking for a place To post to get that one job chunked and you know off your plate every day, then this would be a good, simple format.

So you have to think about your needs. Another nice thing you can use different extensions that will make buffering even easier chrome has different extensions that help with some of these social media platforms and buffer allows you to use those extensions. Now I added a few other things. Some of the social media like which one was it HootSuite, does not allow you to use shortened links for your posts.

Sometimes people like to use a shortened link and then they like to track it on their own, maybe through pretty links or something like that off their website. And again, if you don’t know about all that, but if you’re into tracking this one will allow you to use outside shortened link programs where HootSuite will not allow you, they want everything to stay internal. So if that’s important to you, that’s a plus, it does have a queue where at list Q means list where you can keep all of your posts.

So you can recycle. So that’s a plus, and you can also go in and repost or retweet Twitter as retweets is like a repost. You can do that on Twitter as well as of today on here now. There could be more features that are at it beyond what I’m talking about today, but those are some things in a nutshell. Now, let’s go down to the cons, the analytics are very simple and that to me it’s not really a negative, but if you’re really looking for some in-depth analytical stuff, then this program is probably not for you again and I just talked to just said it a Moment ago, it’s not like an all-encompassing one-stop shop for all your social media stuff, it’s think of it think of buffer more as a scheduler to save me, the time and hassle that I don’t have to go into every Platt form every morning and do all my Scheduling for the day, I can do it at the beginning of the month and knock it out for all my platforms and then just do it one once a month and chunk it.

Okay, so there’s buffer down below, like I said, I have a link for a playlist. I have a link to goes to buffer. I do not have an affiliate account to that. I’r just trying to give you some help. You with your research. There is a guide to earning income online down there if you’re, if you’re, looking at this and you’re like wow, I don’t even have a business online, never thought about that, but I’d love to post all over the place.

Well, you can. This is something a tool you would use for your business to help you there. So god, you know, there’s a free guide there to give you some information and, of course, subscribe subscribe to my blog I post every day, and I want to thank you for making it this far and reading the article. I hope it was helpful. Give me thumbs up if it was or comment. If you have any questions, if you have information, add I love when people read it, who might be an expert with buffer? I’r not an expert.

I just did some research to give to you, but if you are an expert, you have more information. Add by all means. Do it that does not bother me because again, I don’t know everything and I know a little bit of everything how’s that not a lot about one thing: alright, so there you go again. Thank you for reading and I’ll see you on the next article.

Social Media Planners – eClincher VS Hootsuite

These are two social media platform planners. What is a planner when you start getting bigger in your business, and you have more than one social media platform where you’re posting there are planners out there, where you can actually sit down in one day and plan out all your posts for the month or for The week or, however, you want to do it, each planner comes with different features, so today we’re going to compare each clincher and HootSuite, and I have a bonus for you today, I’m going to give you the name of the app that I use to compare these And you can plug in any social media planner in there and do your own research, because there’s lots of different ones and I’m not going to sit here and tell you, which is the right one for you.

So let’s go ahead and get started. Let’s look at e clincher and HootSuite now, like I said yesterday, I showed you I’m going to give you a quick review of what a planner is. Basically you go in. You make a post, you tell the planner where you want to post it. You pup. You add your own accounts and then you can plan them and I’m just going to show you real quick. How easy it is you can schedule, it comes up, asks you what time and then it posted for you.

So it’s pretty much that simple click. Click! Click you’ve got it. The time that you would have involved would be planning your posts, but you can take one post and post it on to 10 different media platforms, and that’s what’s cool about the planner. If you choose, you can save them in a queue like a an organized folder and you can recycle them. So that’s what’s nice about planners now, let’s go ahead and look at each clincher.

I just went in and this is what you really want to look at. Is what are you getting for your money and they have three different plans: basic premium and agency. You can see right here, the different prices and I just went right to their website. You can go in there yourself and look and get a closer view, but you can see there’s a big difference in the money. The biggest thing you want to look at if you’re new is how many profiles can I plan on and that’s the biggest thing and right here for their basic 10 profiles.

Now, if you’re starting to get bigger, you can do 20 and it says 3 users. Some people will hire virtual assistants to go in and do their posting and planning for them. Other people are running their own agency and therefore they can have unlimited. You brands in there and 40 different profiles, so it can get pretty huge depending on what your needs are pretty much. If you scroll down, everybody gets the same thing.

It starts your bottom plan, pretty much. You lose things like media library, CRM integration and team collaboration, and things like that. A little bit of analytics aren’t available to you. But again, if you’re, not a huge agency or you don’t have that many accounts, I think you could probably survive on the basic account for $ 59 a month. Now, let’s look at HootSuite, I have found what I’ve gone into the different plans.

Most of them do. The same thing, honestly, the difference is you’re going to find is: maybe they don’t post on Instagram, for example, where another one will and that’s really what you want to look at besides the money now here, you can get ten social profiles for only $ 29 a Month so there’s a difference you may go in and find they have a 30 day free trial, as opposed to the 14 days. I highly recommend that you go in check out the free trial so that you can make sure it’s the right platform for you, because again there are so many now.

Let’s look at apples, apples. I found this app and I’m going to put give you the link of it down below. It’s called get app and I can plug in any social media platform that I want and then I can compare them so here we have HootSuite. I’r going to take this one off. I had, I did add sprout social, but I’m going to take it off because so we can see there. You can add up to four at a time so today we’re talking about a clincher and HootSuite and you can visit their website.

It takes you directly there and we’re going to scroll down okay. I went ahead and put a social sprout social back in there and I kind of changed my screen for you here, because I want you to see how you can compare just by adding another social media, planner and and figure out which one is best for you. As you can see the overview they’re pretty much the same in what they offer you can use iPhone.

You can go on the web. Android typical customers are all the same support. The only one that’s different is a clincher does not offer phone support. So if that’s important to you write that down do a list of pros and cons and then you can go in and they have screenshots to show you what they look like. So if that’s important to you, how easy are they to use? How easy are they to navigate? You can go into the different ones and see how easy, now that earlier, I showed you a clincher very, very easy to use all right and now we have pricing, and this is when you want to start looking now.

Hootsuite says they start at $ 19, a month, a clinchers, forty-nine and sprout socials ninety-nine. We were just over there at a clincher and I believe it’s already 59, so these may not be totally accurate. Hootsuite was actually 29, so these are a little bit behind in the pricing. What I like about a clincher is: there is no credit card required when you go in and look at the free trial when you go to HootSuite you’d have to give your credit card a lot of people, don’t like to do that.

So if that’s important to you, you might want to take that off your list. All of them have great ratings and, let’s keep going down and again you can see sprout social is losing some of the features as we go and what’s interesting is they’re the most expensive. So there you have it. I want to show you what I use. It’s a lot cheaper and I highly recommend that you look at it. It’s called post, planner and post planner starts out at $ 3 a month.

Now you only get three social platforms, but if you’re just starting out and you’re just trying to get a feel for it, get the three. Do it start out with that three three social platforms get them going, get yourself in the groove for your planning things and then later go up to the $ 9 a month and you have the social 10 social accounts. I have done a article on post planner and how to navigate it.

I actually did a series of four articles. I will go ahead and post the one where I went in and navigate it um, but this will probably do what you need and it’s only three dollars a month or nine dollars a month. Again it depends on what you need. I hope this was helpful, but I am going to give you that app so that you can go in and start looking at all the different social media platforms, the planners and do some comparison on your own.

It’s a big decision so and it’s it’s something that the reason I say it’s a big decision. You don’t want to spend a lot of time, putting all these posts in there and planning them out and the deciding it’s not the right platform for you, because then you got to turn around and do it all over again. So take the time to research go in try out the tre free trials, maybe only post a few things see how you like them, then, when you decide what you want, go in there big time and get a lot of stuff planned and save yourself some time Thumbs up, if this was helpful and subscribe to my blog, I have a article every single day that will help you with your business, whether it’s affiliate, marketing or just working online, alright, and don’t forget to click those links below that’s to help you out with your Social media planner

Hootsuite vs Buffer (Social Media Management)

These are both scheduling platforms, where you can schedule your posts ahead of time, maybe do all of them in one day for the month for the week, however, you want to do it and then not have to worry about posting. You still want to go back and check for engagement, but you don’t have to worry about coming up with all these ideas constantly.

You could take one day really plan it out, post them, schedule them and then move on and not have to keep thinking about it. I think in online businesses the affiliate marketing online marketing digital marketing, all these different things – that’s one of the hardest things to do is to schedule your time and not feel like you’re all over the place. So there’s lots of tools out there to help you, and these are definitely two really good tools.

Yesterday I talked about five six different schedulers and in the end I told you that today I would compare HootSuite with buffer, because these two are pretty affordable. They’re really good for beginners and I’m going to give credit to Ben Beck. I did Google and found his article where he compared ten key factors, but today I’m only going to compare five. I tried to take the five factors that you might be looking at.

As a beginner, every platform gets more complicated and starts looking at things and sometimes as a beginner. All those things become daunting. So I wanted to just look at the five that you probably would be most interested in as a beginner. So let’s go ahead and get started. The first thing I want to do is give a quick overview. This is what the platform looks like on. Hootsuite HootSuite according to Ben, has a platform that is clunky.

It feels old compared to some of the new tools that are coming out. You know how Apple always has all the cool apps and just that real, clean, modern look. This one HootSuite still has more of a Microsoft. Look if that makes sense. So, even though it still has great features the functionality and all that the look of it is not as modern, if you, I guess, is the best way to say it. So this one also runs $ 29.

99 per month. It does have a free feature. You can so, I think, sign up for 30 days free and then you can still use it for free. If you don’t want some of the features, I did not get into that. What features you get at what price I just compared. Some of the five different features that I have listed here today, here’s buffer buffer. As you can see, it has a very first impression, really quick. It’s very clean, very easy to use interface kind of like a um easy to do for dummies right, but it just lacks some of the luster and the robust tools that HootSuite has and we’ll go into that in a moment.

So you have to be careful just because something looks easy and is easy it you have to look at what are the tools that I’m looking for it and does it do what I need things like HootSuite when I talk about the robust features, HootSuite out ways: Buffer with its scheduling, content, recommendation and reporting – and it has analytics so all those things are not with buffer. So if you look at an analytics and really trying to dig deep, then you will pay more and you will have those features with HootSuite.

Alright, let’s go ahead and start breaking them down. I had five different features and the first one was who has the widest coverage on social media accounts buffer? As you can see, you can post on five different accounts. As of the time of my comparison here, it may do more, obviously, depending on when you look at this, but Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, app.Net and Google, I’m sure you’re, probably most concerned with the top three now look at who’s suite.

Not only do you have those, but you, if you’re a blogger and you’d like to use WordPress Foursquare. Those are definitely things that you want to use for HootSuite. It also goes into tumblr, blogger, Instagram, Google+, so objects more. There were others that it listed and I just stopped listing them, but HootSuite definitely allows you to post on more platforms so think about the platforms that you’re, using or even the ones you’re going to use in the future.

I try to even as a new marketer, sometimes in the beginning, when I first started, I was always going for okay, which one’s easier, but then I found myself switching to another platform when I started doing more in wanting more and that can be a pain. So now my philosophy is, if I’m in this and I’m going to make you know this a career out of this and make this my job. Then I want to have the best tools in the get-go and that way I don’t have to keep changing around.

That’s just my philosophy, so again, both of them will allow you to start for free. They have free programs, but you have to look and see what that entails. All right. Let’s look at another feature which one is easier to use buffer is simple with a cleaner. Looking layout, okay HootSuite is easy to use. It just doesn’t have the same look, so it really is a preference of. Do you like Apple or Microsoft, is kind of what I get from this buffers more of your Apple product.

Hootsuite is more of your Microsoft product. All right, let’s look at the next one scheduled posting. Obviously, if you’re looking at these different tools, which one’s going to post my or schedule my post more conveniently buffer, you can schedule your posts, but it is again not as robust as HootSuite the person that wrote. This article gave a score to these different things and HootSuite. By far it was raved about it has very powerful scheduling functionality.

Definitely hands-down wins in this area. So if posting is important to you, then you definitely want to go with HootSuite and and, like you just saw on the previous slide. Hootsuite also had more platforms that you could schedule, and so, if that’s the main reason you’re using this, that might be the one that you might choose ad hoc posting now. What is that ad hoc posting is when, let’s say, you’ve got everything scheduled for a month and then all of a sudden you decide.

I want to schedule something today, even though I’ve scheduled out for a month, that’s called ad-hoc posting. Were you kind of on the go posting? Is that a better way of saying it, but both of them use a chrome plug-in that helps you do that? But buffer is super super easy. You use the plug-in and buffer will even say: hey here’s a great place to put that and it kinda puts it there for you. If you use HootSuite, you have to go in and say here’s where I want to add it in now.

If you don’t do a lot of that, a lot of on the go posting then HootSuite is your go-to platform. But if you find yourself constantly posting on the go, then you might want to stick with buffer. Alright, let’s look at one more feature: what about content library buffer does not allow you to keep that much content on their platform. It’s not as large, doesn’t give you as much space as HootSuite. So if you’re, a small company you’re, just starting out buffer, will be great for you.

If you are planning on getting big or you already are medium-sized to large, then you probably want to go with HootSuite now. Another thing that HootSuite will do. It will allow you to tag your content, so if you want to search it and sort it you can do it and it also lets you view usage statistics where buffer does not so again, how involved do you want to get with your posting? You may be doing this not for a business, but just because you like to post and you’d like to engage with friends and community, or maybe you’re just posting, to encourage a group of people and it’s not that important buffer, probably would be the best platform for You so you just got to compare the pros and cons of each and figure out, which is best for you.

Now I’m going to go over verbally if you’re, looking HootSuite in these five areas was better with supporting more networks, we showed you that you can use more platforms with HootSuite. Hootsuite is also better for scheduling functionality, and it also has a larger storage platform. So, if you’re, really looking at running scheduling a lot of things on lots of different platforms, it sounds like HootSuite would be, for you.

Buffer is very easy to use. If you’re looking for simplicity and if you’d like to schedule on-the-go that one is better. So I kind of divided the five features that way you can go back and see which each of them does but figure it out. You know which platforms best for you, according to Ben in his article, both of them were good platforms, but you have to decide which one is best for you just give me if you don’t mind giving me a thumbs up.

If this was helpful, give me some feedback, if there’s more things like this, that you’re looking for I’d be more than happy to review it and make a article for you. Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog and check out my links below if you’re looking at affiliate marketing. That is what I do. I do have some links below.
