Using Internet Marketing to drive new clients to your business
Author: Alec Allshouse
I have a passion for the inner workings of the Internet. I have been creating websites for the Internet for more then a decade now. The last four years I have been working on creating a product that will help make people's dream of owning their own business a reality. The product ended up turning into a business that I basically run on a part time basis. Allshouse Designs is a #digitalmarketing agency that promotes small business to gain more exposure on the internet.

Here at Allshouse Designs (Matt and I) will be taking on a huge project for 2018. We will be part sponsoring a race car. That is correct, Matt and I have been gear heads for most of our lives. From rebuilding motors to switching out brakes. We have done it all. Our Good friend Jon has purchased a race car that needs a little bit of work. From suspension to fixing up the body. The car will be entered into the Mini Stock Division at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington. With seven racing seasons under his belt. It should be an interesting year.
Jon Roberts started racing Quarter Midgets at 10 yrs old. Now at the age of 34. He has been the owner/driver of 4 different cars. With-in the seven racing seasons, Jon has won 24 main events. The plan is to have the car ready by March 3rd which is the first available dates for open track practice. We anticipate that the car will need 120-man hours put into it to be ready for March 3rd.
As far as the next steps in making the car race ready. We will be focusing on going through the suspension and converting the car to a coil over type suspension. The car will also be getting a fresh engine. Along with replacing a few panels to be able to give the ca a fresh coat of paint.
We are very excited to create blog posts and videos to keep our friends, family and our community updated with the progress of this project. Racing, modify and repairing cars has been a long-time hobby for Matt and I. We hope that everyone will enjoy being apart of the experience in fixing up the car and being with us during the 2018 racing season in the Mini Stock Division.
Jon Robert says it best, “Man and machine working together as one, there isn’t anything else like it. Races and championships are won at home in the garage. They say the separation is in the preparation and the sport of stock Car racing was built on ingenuity and out engineering your competitors. It’s all about the time you put in during the weeks between races, driving the car is just a small part of it.”

As we continue our adventure into building our business we have decided to experiment with video. It was a lot of fun and we really appreciate Rolands from Spunks to let us produce our first You-Tube video about their business. Basically, our focus was to give everyone a glimpse into the world of Spunks. Now this is our first video and really, we are looking forward to seeing what people think about it so that we can grow our expertise in what it takes to create a video for small business. As of today, we have just released it and now we are posting the video on serval social media platforms. The idea is to start a conversion of what creates a great video for small business. With that said, your constructive criticism is welcome on serval social media platforms like You-Tube, Twitter, Facebook, Google plus and in the comment section of this blog post. It would be fantastic if you like, comment and share our video with your friends.
A CTA is one of the most important buttons to have on your business landing page. Marketing studies show that when you have a well placed CTA on your website. Your customer conversion rates are much higher then if you did not have one. I really think it actually makes users feel good about their web surfing experience. I am always bothered when I log onto a website and can’t find out how to contact the business or worse buy their products or services. Basically in a nut shell, a call of action button is a graphic that looks like a button that is easily seen. Once you push the button. It should take you to a web page to purchase a product, schedule a service, join a news letter or contact the business.
I really hope that this helps you under a little about what a CTA is and what they look like. I wrote a few tips about them on the Tips and Update section at allshousedesigns.com. Here is another great blog post that is full of great information and resources about Call to Action. If you have any questions about your call of action button. Remember I am always here to help with your business website. Feel free to contact me or just post a comment to talk more about it.
What’s up next?

I can’t say it enough. Do your research! Starting a business is not easy. Don’t go in blind. The digital age continues to create information on all of us. There is no excuse! It would be straight up stupid not to figure out your target market, right?
There has been one time in my life where I watched a business rise and fall. It was two years of complete failure. A simple internet search would of told the owner of the business what to do. Instead, he did not do his research. He basically had to lay off the employees that he trained at his expense. The only good outcome was that the employees that he trained went off and worked for other businesses and made hundreds of thousands of dollars for those businesses. It was a harsh reality, but this happens all the time. Do your research and don’t watch your business slip away.
We are in our third week of the experiment and if feels like we are climbing a very steep mountain side. The plan is to be at the peak of the mountain in another 9 weeks. Well that is when the experiment will be over. It will be very exciting to see what the data will show us. Find the formal update message in the Tips and Updates section at allshousedesigns.com.
