Now I have been a member for about a year and I have learned a bit of how to play on platform. If you are not careful or do not follow the rules from the developers. You may be banned from your favorite social media platform. Yes, I have been punished by Twitter and Facebook. They will typically turn off  your liking and or sharing functions for a period of time. It is their way of making you aware that you are not allowed to abuse their network. If you think about it. It really does save their integrity. Below are two pieces advise that you should read so that you do not get banned or punished.

  1. Look at what you are sharing on your profile. Like 4 Like gives you the opportunity to view what you are sharing on your profile before you share it. I highly advice you look before you leap. I lost an entire twitter profile because I was not paying attention to what I was sharing.
  2. Do not get greedy! Space out the time spent liking and sharing. If you go to fast you will be punished. They will basically turn off the ability to like stuff if you go too fast or you do too much in a short period of time. SLOW DOWN! VERY IMPORTANT!
  3. Have at least one profile on several different social media networks. This way you can make exchanges on different networks in one session. It will help slow you down and will decrease the chances of being banned.

Buying social media interactions

You can log onto the site and purchase points for social media interactions. I have done this and have found that sometimes the points spent doesn’t add up to how many interactions that appear on my social media profiles. Some of the likes and shares will disappear after you get them. They are most likely deleted by Facebook, Twitter and or YouTube. It started to get real bad when they started deleting accounts off their networks. Also some community members will delete their interactions afterwards as well. I think it’s because they don’t want the content they liked in the social media feed. If you are not adventurous with your content because you refuse to see anything different in your feed. Like4Like is not for you. The reality is that after some of the purchased points or the points that you get in exchange. Will be spent on social interactions that disappear.

So if you have a hard on for every point, then this is not for you. I have been using the system for a long time and have seen some like and shares quickly appear and shortly drop off. Maybe hours or days after they show up. However, majority of the social media interactions do stick. This is clearly Facebook, Twitter and YouTube’s policing. They have to do this so that the like button does become point less.

Report violators

The developers of the L4L have put I. A system to report violators. Yes, there is rules and if you do not follow them. Points are taken away or your account get banned. I highly suggest you read the rules and expectations before paying in the community. Also always report violators it help the community.

The cons

1. Facebook, YouTube and Twitter are known to drop social interactions after they are completed by community members.

2. You can be banned from Youtube, Twitter and Facebook if you are abusing their tools.

3. Every point earned may not see a return.

4. You still have to interact with people via messaging, or comment to really make useful connections.

5. A social media profile that likes or shares your content may not be complete and look fake.

6. Some of the social media profiles that community member are using to interact with are not used or barely monitored. Kinda like shell accounts.

Tips to avoid the cons

1. Slow down! Do 5 to 10 minute sessions at least a half hour apart.

2. Populate your social media profiles with content. Images and posts. Do not just post links to crap on your wall. That looks spammy.

3. Read the rules and exceptions of community

4. Write awesome comments

5. You get better results if you have people like your posts. Then invite them to like or subscribe to your page.

6. Stick with the community over time. You are rewarded free points the more work you put into it.

The value

I think you should think of this community as a window. A window into another community or even another world. A world that you may have never seen. It is no secret that a digital bubble is created around you the more you use your social media profile. You will be around people like you and you see the same content over and over. After time you no longer see out of the bubble. Like4Like.org will bypass that bubble. I know you will see some crazy stuff on the platform. I really enjoying going through Sound Cloud. Yes, it has been a while since I have created a post on this great blog of all things internet marketing. Yes, I called it “great”. Is it just me or is this word seem to be over used in the last two years? Anyway, Matt and I have had a wonderful 2018. We meet some awesome people along the way and finished up a bunch of projects for businesses all around the world. Man, I love doing this work. It is so rewarding to help people with their internet business presence.

Facebook’s Social Media Ad Specifications

However, most people don’t understand Facebook ads or the specifications that you need to follow to have your ads placed on the site. So, to help you out, we’re going to talk about Facebook ads, their advantages and also list four specifications that you need to follow in order to have a successful marketing campaign on the site.

To comply with Facebook’s standards, they’ve released a list of design specifications that need to be followed if your advertisement is going to be eligible for the site.

Media Recommendations

  • File type JPG or PNG
  • Image ratio at 9:16 or 16:9
  • Resolution be as high as possible
  • Images that consist of 20% text or more may be less successful
  • Text is limited to 125 characters

The JPG and PNG file types are the most popular when it comes to Facebook advertisements. They’re the most common image file types on the internet, but PNG can offer a slightly better quality with less quality loss from compression.

The image ratio is important so that your advertisement does not seem stretched when place on Facebook’s website. 16:9 and 9:16 resolutions are the most common, as 16:9 is also the standard screen ratio for most websites and phones.

It’s also important to have a high resolution so that the image quality is good. We recommend at least as 1280 x 720 pixel ratio for most advertisements, or 720 x 1280 if you’re aiming for a 9:16 ratio. Facebook requires at least 600 x 600, but these will appear stretched in certain places, hence their recommendation for having an image ratio of 16:9 or 9:16.

Images that have too much text are also frowned upon. This is because advertisements should be quick and snappy so that anyone browsing will catch them, see the message and then hopefully be hooked. If there is too much text, then the message of your advertisement is lost.

Marketplace ads are a fantastic way to show off certain products or services that you offer.

Media Recommendations

    • File type JPG or PNG
    • Image ratio at 9:16 or 16:9
    • Resolution be as high as possible

Much like Facebook feed ads, the recommendations are virtually the same for marketplace ads. However, it’s good to keep in mind that when there are links involved, the images should be cropped and have a recommended resolution of at least 1,200 x 628. The minimum resolution requirements are, again, 600 x 600, but a higher resolution image will result in a better user experience.

They say that pictures can tell a thousand words. If that’s true, then videos are the king of advertising if they can show around 30 pictures a second.

Video advertisements are much more technical due to the recommendations that you should meet. However, they’re fantastic for engagement and converting leads, especially if you have a talented video director working for you.

The H.264 compression and fixed frame rate options are available in most modern video editing software. Although Facebook does support long videos (up to 240 minutes!) you’d be hard-pressed to balance the quality and fit it under 4 GB. In addition, most people won’t want to watch an advert that’s 4 hours long, so try and keep it short if possible.

Most mobile users will have their phone muted or headphones plugged in but in their pocket, so there’s a good chance that they won’t have sound available. As a result, you want the message to be clear and simple to understand, even without text.

Facebook Carousel Ad Specifications

Carousel ads are fantastic at combining picture and video advertisements into a single ad.

Media Recommendations

  • Minimum of 2 cards
  • Maximum of 10 cards
  • File type JPG or PNG
  • Video maximum size 4 GB
  • Resolution at least 1080 x 1080

Carousel ads should follow the recommended design specifications of the previous advertisement types. Ensure that you stick with a consistent aspect ratio throughout all your propose carousel ads to make it seamless and neat.

The Race Car at Evergreen Speedway

Wow! Have we been busy? As most of you already know, we have been working on getting our Race Car ready for the races, which start this coming weekend at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA.

If you have seen any of the Racecar Series Videos, you know that we have been working on fixing massive vacuum leaks throughout the intake system. We also found that the engine’s head needs work, so the head was removed and now sits at our local machine shop to be cleaned up. In the meantime, we have sense replaced the rear differential with a limited slip differential. There was gearing issues in the old one that was ultimately hindering our lap time.

After having fixed the rear end, our track time has improved slightly but until we get the head work done, the intake and carburetor setup changed around. The track time won’t be where it should be.

We have done some cosmetic work. The car now has a face! We put the nose on the car and have made adjustments to fit the old hood as well.

There is still a lot of work to be done, however, we need to get the wheel lug pattern corrected so we can run 8” wheels for maximum grip around the track. The car also needs that all important paint job and decal placement.

Our driver, Jon Roberts AKA Fozzy, has been great to work with through the entire process and we are excited to see what will come of this race season. His knowledge is incredible, as you would expect from a 2 time NASCAR champion in the Mini Stock Division at Evergreen Speedway.

Episode 5 of the racecar was shot in 360 degrees to give you an interesting look into the car and the process of fixing our issues. Jon and Alec discuss some of the issues and what we are doing to fix them. It has been a fun process of filming and editing for this video and we hope you all enjoy it.

Our YouTube Race Car Adventure Continues…

The Race Car Allshouse Designs

We have just released our latest YouTube Video. This will be our 24th video and we have come a long way. It is hilarious to look at our first video and compare it to video number 24. We have learned a whole lot and continue to research on what makes an entertaining video. We will continue to improve and try our best to bring value.

 The one concept that has been the same is our priorities for our YouTube channel.  Which what we found through research is the most important concept to follow. With that said, here are the list that we have put together.

  • Create awareness of our brand “Allshouse Designs”.
  • Execute our Inbound Marketing Stragity.
  •  Educate the public about our experience and our knowledge.
  • Communicate our values.
  • Advertise our services.

With these 5 priorities in play it helps us determine our next steps. As far as the quality of our videos. We really have a long way to go, but when we get there it is going to be very rewarding. The really cool thing is that we have everything documented. It is fun to think that everyone can look at our channel and start to see our progress. That is what we look at to see what we need to learn and what to tweak. We really thank our current audience and hope that they continue to support us through our journey.

Here is a little glimpse into our latest video. Now we did film around 5 videos at the same time. We experienced horrible lighting and sound issues. We fixed the audio that alone is a great fix. Nothing like having an echo in your videos. We purchased high quality microphones. If you want to know which ones we are using for our latest video you can ask us by commenting below. Now on to the lighting.  After filming in front of a green screen for majority of our videos. We decided to can the entire green screen concept. We just felt that we just could not get the lighting right. In video number 24, episode 3 of the Race Car series. We are using natural light with studio lights. To film it we used two different cameras at two different angles. When you watch the video. The crisper picture with everything in focus is filmed with the Samsung cell phone camera and the warmer picture with the background slightly out of focus is the DSLR camera. In nut shell we are trying to find what we like better.

The last mention is what we have show cased in the video. Matt talks about the feel of the video with out the green screen, a little blurb about our new service and of course the progress of the race car. I hope you enjoy and like what Matt says, “let us know what you think?”
