Marketing Tip o’the Day… Desire

Okay, a couple of tips ago, we talked about the ADA formula last tip. We talked about the first two pieces of the ADA formula, those being attention and interest. Today. Let’s talk about desire desire, though, how do you cultivate in a prospect the desire to have your product? Well, you remind them of what their needs.

Are you remind them that they, this product can help them solve some problems that they’ve got, but, most importantly, you appeal to their emotions. How do you do this? You recognize that we’re all pretty much powered by the same kinds of emotions. We all have a need to feel important. In fact, I like to say we all walk around with an invisible sign around our necks and everybody signs says exactly the same thing make me feel important.

If you can tie your product to how these people will feel important, you’ve got a better chance of making the sale. Another main driver is the need to love and be loved fact nothing’s more powerful than that in our lives, and it is a key emotional driver. If you can tie your product or the benefits of your product to a person’s need to love and be loved, you will create in them want and desire. Another approach, variety, we all have a strong need for variety in our lives and it is an emotional factor.

We don’t want to be the seeing the same as everybody else, and so, if you can p appeal to variety and how it will make the person different, you have a good shot of cultivating that desire. And then the last thing that you can use as an emotional driver to cultivate desire and let people and make them want your product is to appeal to their need for convenience or to what I call the Leys factor. You know this society runs at a frenetic pace and anything you can do to make people’s lives easier to get them through the chores they have to do faster or enable them to be able to relax a little bit.

That’s a tremendous driver and will cultivate desire. How To Increase Website Traffic Intro

In this four-part series, I will cover all the fundamental free and paid tools that I use to drive traffic to my website and as well as my customers websites. I will avoid using technical terms and make this series easy to follow, so that a complete beginner will be able to follow along and by the end of the four steps series here will have a good grasp of how to actually promote your website.

What is a keyword, keywords or key phrases are very important for a couple of reasons when you’re targeting customers in the search engines, search engines need to know certain keywords or key terms to know exactly what your website is related to vote and also when you’re targeting Customers, when you’re using pay-per-click advertising, you need keywords and certain keywords will perform better than other.

Certain keywords will be used to, for example, somebody in the market looking to buy landscaping would be you know your cities, let’s say New York’s best landscaping company there in the market to buy some services landscaping services. So you want to target those keywords. That’s a keyword! So I’ll show you exactly how to find those keyword, how to know what kind of volume is available in those keywords in your particular market and moving on from there with keywords, the third module is pay-per-click advertising now pay per click.

Advertising to me is is the way to go. It’s paid targeted traffic to your website, targeted, meaning people in the market. Looking for your services, that you provide your your business you’re, an auto dealer and you’re trying to sell cars, trucks whatever, and you can target and you’re in this city of, say, 30,000 people. You can narrow it down to just people in your city and target people that are doing searches for used vehicles set and bang right at the top of the search results.

A ad for your company will appear and a good chance of beings that set up at the top of the search results that they will click on, and now you only pay if people actually click on your ad. So, for example, of a landscaping company that I do pay per click, advertising for was able to land a multi, ten thousand dollar annual contract from the Civil three-dollar at. Bob Garfield – ‘The future isn’t in hyper-local news’

Bob is a commentator and analyst for advertising age, a co-host of the Peabody award-winning mpr program on the media and the author of the chaos scenario. Bob will be our keynote speaker at the local online advertising conference in New York March 21st and 22nd of 2012 welcome Bob. Thank you very much p a lot of people predicting even yourself, I guess, predicting the death of traditional media operations, but history has shown that throughout time, new media never completely displaces old media.

That’s true, I mean. Has the landscape change so radically is to make history obsolete know it? History is an obsolete. There has been nothing in history in media equivalent to the digital revolution. This is not the difference from from Radio to television. This is not the difference between pre, VCR and VCR, and you know it’s not even it’s not even that difference strictly speaking between pre-computer and post computer.

What it has to do with is a wandering media right now, along the way, the plundering a whole lot of other document enterprises. The digital revolution is akin to the discovery fire it’s akin to antibiotics, to manned flight, to the automobile, changing human activity in a profound way and everything else that happened before in the history of media. Since the printing press has been small potatoes, history does offer some.

It offers some clues. The Industrial Revolution you know being right at the top of the list. When we went from an artisan, bespoke economy and single cobbler, making pair of shoes to factory made shoes, it changed the lives of pretty much everybody in the world and steam engine and the train. Transportation simultaneously did approximately the same thing and radically reordered human experience. And that’s: what’s that’s: what’s going on now, hyperlocal experiments haven’t been able to sustain themselves yet mmm.

How? How can a local media company find a financially sustainable model in such fragmentation? Well, my answer: is they probably can’t the the midst of fragmentation? The combination of incredible fragmentation, which limits your audience size and the the inexorable downward trajectory of advertising prices means that nobody? Nobody is going to have the critical mass to professionally and profitably deliver news.

In my opinion, the the future isn’t in hyperlocal per se as a standalone operation. In my opinion, weirdly, the intern, sir, is going to be in consolidation. I believe that in every market the winner will be the entity, whether it’s a local TV station in the public radio station, a local newspaper, a series of hyperlocal sites, banded together or some parties, as yet unthought-of to form strategic relationships for content and for revenue.

With other players in that market and then the the combination of organizations that get there first and create revenue streams, while simultaneously becoming the central hub for news and information and culture in their communities, they win, they scoop the pot and everybody else just disappears. So there weirdly, paradoxically this this vast vast vast fragmentation is going to lead into consolidation and I believe in market after market aftermarket winner takes all you.

How to Select the Right Keywords I Free Google Adwords Training

So there are tools available to find appropriate keywords. There’s a lot of different tools online that you can use. Google has what’s called their keyword planner. It’s right in Google’s under tools and settings here you come over here to planning and you can use the keyword planner and you can find keyword and AD group ideas.

You can get suggested budgets and you can find you know, search volume and forecast as well. So a lot of times we’ll be searching for a specific keyword or we’ll think. Oh, look. So you can get all this information using the Google Keyword, planner right under tools and settings here.

I’m telling you you will lose money, I’ve seen people, you know waste tens of thousands of dollars just because you know they didn’t understand the difference between broad match and exact match.
