That’s where the money is. That’s where the money is because that’s where the economy is going right now in this article, I’m going to share with you some digital marketing skills. Okay, there are four of these articles. They all go together. I want you to read all over this part. 1 part 2, part 3 and part 4, and it’s going to walk you through all.

You need to know for doing digital marketing courses. Okay. So this is a great setup, you’re really going to like it’s easy to follow but make sure you go through the entire four article series. This is article 1. Don’t forget: there’s 2 3 & 4. Now, let’s get going so you can make some money online. Hey! I’r jr. Fish I’ve been selling online since 2009. You know you want that. Alright, let’s get going here. Let’s talk about digital marketing and this is really going to make it so simple for you so easy for you you’re going to get it. So, let’s get going ciao digital marketing. Really it’s just a new fancy buzzword! Ok! This has been going on for a long time. How long you say? Well, you know, I guess it’s since the 90s – maybe the 1990s nope I’m going to go back even further, like I’m going to go back real far like over a hundred years ago, digital marketing and you’re saying wait.

Junior there was no internet, I’m aware, but let me talk to you about something yeah, I’m going to put up on the screen, the first digital marketer in history. You know who this guy is. Do you recognize him? His name is Mark honey. I was going to try to pronounce his first name. I just not good at that white mark honey yeah. In 1896 he was the first human to demonstrate a public transmission of a wireless signal.

This dude he invented the radio now as soon as he did. This, of course everybody started doing it. They all started figured out. They started doing Morse code signals. Now it took another 10 years for the radio to really reach the general public, but it didn’t take long for the creators to figure out. They could use it to sell stuff. The first live broadcast was from an opera performance at the Met.

Now guess what happened right after that people bought tickets, digital marketing and digital marketing was born now they didn’t call it that back then, but that’s certainly what it was now, but you’re a little bit surprised. I didn’t mention cell phones, I didn’t mention Facebook ads or Google ads or u2 ads or any of that stuff, because digital marketing has nothing to do with the internet. If you’re, if you’re wondering what digital marketing really is, it’s just advertising.

That’s delivered through a digital blog, that’s it it’s that simple! Now, certainly you know social media and mobile applications and YouTube, and Facebook and Twitter are all digital platforms, but that isn’t what defines digital marketing? Basically you could you could narrow it down to digital marketing? Is any form of marketing products or services that involves electronic devices? Now get a ask yourself, a question: why is digital marketing so important? Why is it so important you remember billboards those things alongside the highway? I do.

Does anybody look at those anymore? I don’t think they do, I remember being on car trips as a kid with my family and we would drive down to Florida. We had a camper and we would try to find someplace to eat and when we were trying to find someplace to eat. My dad would say to me we’ll check for billboards and we’ll see what’s coming up, and that was the way we got our information. You know once I saw a billboard for McDonald’s, but I saw a billboard for Stuckey’s or whatever it was, or a barbecue joint I’d say: oh look, four miles, there’s going to be a barbecue place and then there’d be another billboard.

It would say three miles. Barbecue place and then it would say, a half a mile barbecue place and we knew to get off at that exit nowadays. What do we do? We grab our phone, we go to Yelp, we go to Google, we type in restaurants. We finally closest places around and we go there. Do those billboards persuade us to do anything anymore? I don’t think so. I don’t think anybody’s looking at him, because most of people drive down the interest rate, although they’re not supposed to be are looking at their phones.

They’re, actually looking at their phones, I mean, if you just stand by an interstate and read people drive by you’ll, find a lot of people looking at their phone. Now, it’s dangerous you shouldn’t. Do it bad thing to do, but I promise you they’re not looking at billboards and even if they do think about this guy’s, if they see a billboard and they go okay, there’s a McDonald’s at the next intersection, I’m going to go there.

How does McDonald’s know that that billboard worked? They don’t is the answer so they’re not effective either. Now the truth is they’re still billboards out there and they’re, probably all around your house – and I bet you don’t even know what they say, because you don’t look at them, but there’s still people wasting money on billboards. Amazing. In some studies it’s been proven that 94 % of the people driving down the road are on their cellphone dangerous.

Now it’s going to get worse and I’ll. Tell you why it’s going to get worse because we’re going to have self-driving cars, you know, Elon Musk is working on this now, and some of these cars are actually on the roads right now and they’re going to get more and more intuitive. I think they’re really going to make the road safer, because I’ve seen how some people driving just my neighborhood but they’re, going to be out there.

So if the car is going to be doing more of the task for you, I guarantee you that those people’s attention is going to be elsewhere and it’s not going to be on the road. It’s not going to be on the billboards. That’s for sure. So what does this mean for you? This means that you need to learn digital marketing, there’s a huge market there guys and a lot of people are going to say. I just don’t understand that.

I don’t know it, but somebody like you is going to learn it. You’re going to read my articles you’re going to learn how to do this stuff you’re going to make money. Now I’ve been to a lot of meetings and the internet has really changed lives. It really has – and I know, there’s there’s some people. I talked to that. It hasn’t changed their lives and it’s a shame because they’ll say well, I’m not into all that technical stuff, I’m not online, I’m not on Facebook.

I don’t put my credit card online. I don’t do any of that, and it’s really just sheer ignorance, because technology is here to help you. Okay, if you don’t use technology, you have a decided disadvantage over the rest of the world because it automates things for them. You may not like certain things about it. I know I’ve had a lot of customers that are survival, food come and say. Well, I don’t want to put my credit card on online.

I’d rather call you, so they call us and I go online and I put their credit card because that’s how we have to do it. Your credit card is going online. You’ve got to understand that your credit cards going online, okay and what’s more dangerous, putting it online on a secure site like ours or handing it to a waitress in arrest, stron, and let them see your credit card numbers where they could jot down everything and use It within the next hour I mean they literally, could guys.

So if you’re handing out your credit card number to strangers in a restaurant, why would you not put it online on a secure site where nobody can see it? It just makes no sense to me. So this technology thing this digital marketing thing is an opportunity for you to make a tremendous amount of money. If you are the early adopters, okay and you may say: well, it’s too late, there’s already people to know how to do that.

There’s not enough people that know how to do that. Trust me. If I talked to friends and family members, I would bet 99 % of them. Don’t know what I know about it and ten years ago I didn’t know that I just learned it, so you can too so follow-through. I want you to go through all four of these articles. The next article I’m going to cover the skills that you’re going to need the things that you’re going to need to learn.

You know honestly. Internet marketing, digital marketing is the reason that there are 25 year old people who can sit on their couch in their living room and make two million dollars a year. Yeah there’s people doing that. Okay and if you’re not looking at that going. Why not me, then? You’re missing the boat and I don’t care how old you are. I don’t care if you’re 18, I don’t care if you’re 80. Anybody can learn this stuff guys it’s not that hard.

It’s just the fear of not knowing just just dive in read all four of these articles. Four in a row, this is the first one there’s going to be three more and I’m going to jump into the skills you’re going to need in the next one and you’re going to love us you’re, going to come out of this you’re going to be motivated. Online Marketing for Beginners [2019]

Yes, I want to come in and talk to you guys about three ways that you can market your business. I’r not going to tell you no bullshit like sortable old or you know, creepy new girl either. Even if you start a blog, are you crazy to new? You still need to find a way to market an advertiser, so let’s get into it.

Huh first things. First, you need to make sure that you are creating content to push whatever you’re doing right. This is number one create a blog, a website, a thing this is, you already have that set up so on Instagram, dropping tips and tricks on you to drop in tips and tricks. Your contest should be constantly pointing people back to whatever it is you’re doing. For example, when I do my challenges on my fitness, blog makes, you guys are following: go gym, fit, make sure to check our go-to because icon whatever you do.

I do things like, for example, okay, when I do my challenges, I start talking about things like do. Weight, loss, challenges, work. Okay, how will weight loss challenge can benefit your life. You know three tips to lose weight and everything. I do at that point to create content. Its circle derail go sign up for my challenge right now. Okay, so I’m create a constant right, so I make a article three ways to lose weight fast and make sure you guys are going to check out my weight loss challenge boom.

I create that on you on YouTube. I create that on Instagram I create that through a blog post. I create that through. I create that through an email, but if you guys notice, I’m creating content, that’s pushing people to go to sign up for my challenge. That’s why I told you guys here are pretty chicks in this: we don’t start selling, okay, we’ll start advertisement or start creating content until you have something to sell all right, stop stop just putting out content.

You have nothing to sell now, I’m not saying this, but I’ll start selling. That’s not what I’m saying I’m saying if you’re going to launch your business, make sure three months from now you’re going to you already have the thing that you’re going to be selling say you’re an author dang bull, you just wrote a notebook, don’t self-help book. I need you to start creating content, but you’re talking about it and you’re letting people know check out my book.

Okay, it’s coming. It’s dropping! Okay, stop! Stop, making stuff, stop cream console without having a product to push. Okay, that’s number one! You need to make sure that you’re creating content around whatever you’re selling. Okay number: two, you need to collab and I said collab like your girl. Go with your besties know, collab with people who are one, not competition, two that are going to push your item or the thing you have to sell.

For example, I do fitness my best friend does, I didn’t say much for Becky, but they’re less. Your besties does. Whatever, but I’m saying, link up with somebody that will push your stuff – that’s not competition, for example, my best friend she does relationships. I do Fitness, okay. She came on my platform before to talk about how you know getting something right in your relationship can be helpful towards your fitness.

Then she talked about her her book right boom. Then I turned around. I went on her platform and I talked about how you need to be fit and snatched soda bars and living a healthy lifestyle. So you can find a boot. Then I talked about one of my meal plans. You get it did you just get what we did? Okay, we collapse we’re not in competition she’s a relationship I’m in fitness, but I found a way to go to her platform, give her people value right in Ukraine, constant you collabing, you’re, providing value to these people.

Then she turned around provided value to my people and talked about her thing, so we had a win-win okay, so collapse. Collab with people were not your competition, but have an audience that you can tap into right. She has a lot of people over there that I wouldn’t reach, because she is in a relationship, relationship sector. I have a lot of people that she wouldn’t reach because I’m in the fitness sector, but since we collabs, we were able to cross pollinate with content and audiences and sealed okay, so collaborate find somebody to collab with okay.

Then this catapults me to the next thing by advertisements: okay, solicit influencers: it’s going to cost you some money, okay! Yes, I know on his blog that other blogs you’ll find that people are going to tell you all. You can do all these things for free. Well guess what food is business? Okay, an influencer or an ad costs money? Okay! So when you do Instagram and Facebook as they cost money? Okay, so if you’re going to be doing an ad, I suggest you get somebody that knows what they’re doing, because you can spend your Facebook ad money, real, quick, you don’t know what you’re doing and you will lose money versus gain money, okay, but you need to Make sure you are getting ads, for example, you can get you an ad as a popular on Instagram on certain days right Fridays and Mondays Mondays.

People are more motivated, just start something new or buy something new, okay and on Fridays, because that’s what people usually get paid all right, they’re willing to buy more on those days. For those reasons, okay and then with the influencer – that’s still advertising, but you want to find an influencer that matches with your brand. Okay, that is affordable. That actually will will send more people to you or, like I talked about, is if you’re beginning you brand-new.

Today, a lot of times when you’re spending money on ads or influencers, it’s not really going to be that you’re going to you’re going to sell or you’re not going to sell with it. But at that point, you’re doing it for awareness, so people can start seeing who you are if they see your ad on their timeline two three times and click this. We check this out right now, they’re aware of you right now, you’re in their ecosystem right and then, if they see you again, let me check out what else this person has and then, by that time you can potentially turn a person into somebody who just got Aware of you now, they’re they’re, a client or they’re, a buyer okay, so you want to get influenced or their lines up with your brand, that’s affordable for you, okay, and that will actually bring people to you see a lot of times.

You just get influencers because I have a lot of likes. Here’s something about marketing and it’s not a secret, no more like views. Okay, it says: do not sell products right, don’t ever think, because this person has a million followers, and I got a hundred thousand likes on on this bet that that’s going to be quite sales. That’s not all how it always happens. Okay, I’m right here with my measly less than four hundred subs on this blog right, less than four hundred and guess what I still make money off of this blog boom.

So I’m saying that the safe subs likes! No, that does not equate some money. So you want to at least if you’re going to get influenced or be aware that it’s were awareness it’s more than likely and it may not turn into money. But now you have people that are pushing you now. People are aware of you, so the three things you can do online marketing right now, pull date right now. Okay, is create content that pushes people back to your product.

Okay, stop stop stop making content without pushing people to your product. Now don’t be so easy everything you make, you don’t need to talk about a product. Okay, every single thing you make you don’t have to talk about a product, but majority of what you’re talking about majority of what your content you put up should be about you. Getting people to your product? Okay, so if you’re a life coach – and you tell the people – you know, here’s the five ways to change your life boom.

The next thing you need to talk about is either a book that can help them or a one-on-one consulting session. With them boom, if you are a baker, okay, honey and you sell cookies, okay, you giving them three ways how to make the most delicious cookies in the world. You need to be up so pushing them through your book to your course to your plan. Okay, I’m just giving me off some examples. Are you trying to push off? Okay, remember to collab with somebody cross pollinate audiences? Okay, because you can share something with their audience.

They can share something with their audience. You guys can bring you back, bring each other value. Okay, the third thing is: get you so and and get you some influencers and here’s one thing I didn’t say with influencers. Another thing that you can do that’s just okay is, if you have the opportunity to provide samples of your idols to imposters, please do something. Okay, because Sam you see the influence or a shirt five months from now, this is who is to wear shirt, shirt and now people are coming to your website because you sent the influence or something free, okay and all you’re doing is you know, thanking them and Telling them hey, I wanted to see you something you know if you can wear this next time, you make a article or if you can wear this next time, you want women to an event.

I would appreciate you because you’re sending them something right now, don’t be mad at them. Foster does not wear your stuff. Okay, because we got to be realistic. Now we’re in this age, where everybody is go, keep doing that right, not everybody, but everybody. The reason why I said not, everybody is because, if you got to this part of the article, I want you to know this start your business. It’s hard your skills into dollar bills, because a lot of us, because we’re on internet, because we’re on social media we’re under the impression that everybody’s doing this and the truth of the matter is everybody – is not investment.

Ok, everybody’s, not on Instagram everybody’s, on YouTube, everybody’s, not on Twitter. That’s the truth! Ok, everybody is not so if you’re not starting your business, because you think that everybody’s doing it you’re cycling yourself, because the truth is everybody’s not doing it think about it. In a room of about 10 people, you can sit and just be like hey. You got Instagram, there might be half of people in the in your group.

That may be like. No, I don’t have this friend right or us. People or people still be surprised when they be like. Oh, you got a new blog I’d be like. Oh me. I got like the ring, but and I’m not saying that to be braggadocious, I’m saying in a way weird lying on him. People up there’s fun alone, Awards people to actually do have the things that you think that everybody has it’s like. No everybody doesn’t people got it YouTube account, but everybody’s not out here on YouTube.

How to Use Twitter for Your Online Business

Let’s jump in. I hear a lot from different businesses that Twitter is dead. It’s irrelevant! Why? Why should we be on Twitter? Give me what are some Pros to using Twitter, So I hear that all the time too, and it’s absolutely not the case – It’s on the rise popularity is growing and Twitter is really Unique in that, the real time that it embraces is What makes it so special So should all businesses Use Twitter or should some Are there certain use cases where you probably should avoid it? I’r a big fan, I’m a huge advocate of using all three Platforms, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram because they Work better together, Okay, But the thing about Twitter is and some view this as a Con is the algorithm So you’re not going to just see things in a chronological order.

Okay, So to keep your content Actually, coming up and being found, you wan na make sure that you have quality Content, not quantity, You don’t need to be Tweeting on steroids, Mass, producing content right. You wan na make sure that you’re giving something of value to your audience. What’s kind of the first Steps once I sign up What should I really look at So first steps. You definitely wan na start following like-minded users, Okay, And that can also help you to get in front of their followers, which will give you a really organic presence And then also go and engage.

With other users on Twitter, You know go and click retweet on something that makes sense to your business. That would also be of Value to your followers, So what about my profile? I know there’s some things that I should probably do just To make sure it’s consistent, What does that look like With your profile, you wan na Make sure that you have usually do you have a logo Yeah Yeah, so you wan na put Your logo out on your Twitter and definitely make sure Your handle is consistent, So that’s a at symbol and then the name of your business preferably Make sure that’s consistent across Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

‘Cause. After all, you’re Branding yourself Right And then from there you Have a little bio description right beneath the photo and your handle Cool. So one of my just absolute favorite topics ever are hashtags Hashtag. I did it all. For the cookies right Tell us about kind of the Best practices using hashtags Like should we just go On a hashtag tangent, are there best practices What should we avoid? Give us a low down? Yes, so definitely real it in don’t need to go hashtag crazy, Okay, But I also love hashtags.

It’s a great way to get more exposure, They’re free to use, and it can help you to be found by someone who Doesn’t even know you exist Also, including an actual Caption that you’re writing it’s one of my favorite things to do when I’m traveling the country – And let’s say I did this Seminar right on social media – and I got a cool picture me – At the microphone feeling [ Justin ], I can see it now Feeling pretty cool at a trade show, and so I wan na, like get That out to my audience – and I caption it like “ Having a blast sharing # socialmediatips.

”. So then, it’s in my caption and then now, if anyone’s searching in the area or social media tips in general, [, Justin ] Right, I have a chance to be discovered, Seems more natural, Right than just having it at the very end make it Part of the conversation Exactly make it part of the caption, But do both by all means. Okay, You can get real localized with it. [ Justin, ], Really Yeah. So when I travel Like, for example, I was in Austin recently, I just wanted to know where’s a good place to Eat or get a craft beer, You know it’s a big thing in Austin, So I would just search # austineats and from there I found Out what tourists locals where they were going to get food and then that helped me make my buying decision So think about it as a Small business owner: how does this relate to you? Well, consumers are out There searching hashtags Right When they’re looking For a product, a service, a cup of Joe And then so, if you have these hashtags on your Posts you’re more likely to be found when someone’s Searching coffee, Perfect and what I would say, To you, when searching that joining in on the conversation With those hashtags that are relevant to what you’re searching and that’s what’s more Important about Twitter right Is talking to people and being social, social media for a reason, Yeah exactly it’s a two way street.

That’s the beauty of it Right, You’re, not just talking At your customers, anymore, you’re engaging with Them it’s a conversation and, at the end of the day, that’s what’s going to make your presence more powerful. If you have This two way conversation Right on. I dig it So next up, we have Really paid advertising.’Cause. I know I’ve seen Some paid promotions on Twitter every now and then Is there any relevance to that.

Should we test it out? What are your thoughts, I always say, start small and be sure you’re paying attention to the metrics, Otherwise you’re just blindly Spending money right At the end of the Month, you’re like wait: where did my money go? You’re like well Yeah, so just start small, So Emma so we’re Tweeting a lot we’re searching hashtags we’re using hashtags. How do we know if what we’re doing is Working and relevant Is there any place to go in And check what we’re doing There absolutely is a way to track Twitter.

Has this account dashboard that you can actually see even what time of day people are looking at your Tweets, which could really be informative? You know I used to work at a coffee shop and what we found is there Was certain times of the day that made sense to Tweet To get people to come in Right, Coffee, early risers, You can Tweet something at 5Am about what you have on what your drip coffee is or Your special foam on your lattes and that made sense you know And then so thinking About the time of day, looking at your Twitter Analytics to see what works best Yeah, But also the top Tweet Is really informative? What do yo mean by that? Like the Tweet, that Got the most impression, the most engagement, That’s going to help inform the Next Tweet and your strategy – Okay, Oh also the retweet.

If I’m getting a lot, Of retweets from users I know, oh they liked that you know They wan na tell their friends Yeah like I should include more photos of me skateboarding That got way more retweets and then that informs my next Tweet. So there’s two different Types of retweets, if you will There’s retweet and there’s a quote: Tweet Yeah. So while it’s fast and efficient to simply click retweet, You know back to the million Things you were doing Right.

We found it to be more beneficial. To quote, add your own caption.’Cause, then you’re, adding Your personal flair to it and you’re really explaining the relevance of that Tweet too. Why are you retweeting it Sometimes. I feel like I’m Spending all day on Twitter Is there a way for me. To not have to do that Like can. I just go and Do it just once a day’cause I have scheduled Things help me out here: I don’t wan na spend all Day on social media, I’ve got a business to run Absolutely so there Are ways to outsource [ Justin, ]? Okay, If you don’t wan na, do this Godaddy Social (, laughs, ): There are teams that can Take this off your plate, but if it’s something You wan na do on your own.

You wan na be beneficial with your time, So I strongly strongly Encourage a content calendar Okay! What’s that That what you get a Calendar a blank calendar, and you just plan out couple days of week that you wan na Tweet and Do it months in advance, so then you don’t miss piggy. Backing off of a holiday, Even unofficial, holidays, Like national hotdog day, There’s literally a random Holiday for every day, Yeah, and not all of them, are going to make sense to your business Right.

But if they do you Can really piggy back off of that with Twitter, but the Content calendar is going to be key to help you plan out in advance, So you’re not rushing And scrambling, like I haven’t, been on Twitter for a few days. I just need to go out there and Tweet. No One tool that I found. That is, pretty cool is Tweet Deck. Have you checked that out? No, I haven’t So Tweet Deck. Actually, let’s you it’s inside of Twitter Itself, but it let’s, you schedule out your own Tweets.

So that you don’t have to have to go in every day and post, You can literally take some Time or chunk out of your Monday and schedule out your content calendar, and it will just spin it for you, Yeah and I would just be Cautious with that, though, because while that’s Maybe a good way for you to manage your time. Rather, you wan na make sure that those times of day are Working for your consumers,.

Really. Blogging is a real online job. It can be for moms, dads students. Anybody can do it if they enjoy writing, but don’t be desperate for money now. If you’d like to work one-on-one with people you can, a blogging is a great way to generate leads for coaching or consulting, and things like that. Then, after you have maybe written five or six different blogs, you want us to pick a social media network and start promoting your content, which means you might want to start promoting it on Facebook or Pinterest or YouTube wherever you want.

Email Marketing Tools To Make $100 Per Day + Full Strategy

What is going on everyone, Thomas back here with another article and in today’s article guys we have a lot to go over, but first before we get into that. Thank you guys so much for coming back to the blog. If you are new here, guys head over to my blog page and click that subscribe button or click that subscribe button down below below this article and guys, like always, I make articles how to make money online, showing you guys giving you advice, tips tricks all that Time I self making articles just like this one and if you guys are ever interested in the description of all my YouTube articles, the first link will actually be right here, it’s kind of like a preview, but it’s actually right here guys it’s my top 5 tips For online entrepreneurship, success right now, plus a free bonus guys and then, after that, I go on to explain and show you guys my number one piece of advice.

So when I’m actually on guys right now is a software or tool whatever called funnel lytx I’m using a free version. I kind of made this. I made this process, I just made it before I made this article, so I have it all set to go so it should hopefully be pretty quick to the point and get the point across and show you guys what you need to be doing right now. So let me actually zoom out here or minimize what we’re looking at, because it’s actually super zoomed in, and I want to zoom this guy out.

Alright, so we’re talking email, marketing tools right guys, and so when it comes a mail marketing tools once this finally loads. It’s a little bit laggy here, because I got a lot of things. I guess recording microphone a couple things going on on my computer, so once we get this thing to zoom out which it should do in a second okay, this should be good. Let’s see if we can move here, we go here. We go all right guys.

This is actually perfect. So when it comes to email, marketing, right you’re going to need some tools and that’s century the baseline of this article, the tools that are going to help propel you to that $ 100 per day right. So when it comes to email, marketing right, you need a traffic source, okay to get someone to be on email list. That’s the whole name of the game: okay, you’re sending them emails, marketing to them, telling them stories sending them pieces of content.

Helping them – and you know, establishing a connection with them – should and then buy something from you, because, ultimately, when it comes in marketing you’re going to have to have some type of transaction take place in order for you to benefit for you to make commissions for you To make money, whether it’s your own product or somebody else’s product, okay, so traffic, guys your traffic source can be almost anything now.

Email marketing guys can range from doing affiliate marketing, which is something that I’m very familiar with. Maybe you have a Shopify dropshipping store you’re. Having me have like a brand, an e-commerce brand online, where your email, marketing to to customers and potential customers and all people who are already customers. So you can have that aspect of it, but it all stems from a traffic source.

So you have to have some type of traffic source. Now that could be Facebook that could be Google. That could be a website that could be YouTube that could be social media. It doesn’t matter how you get that it could be paid, it could be free, it doesn’t matter, but you need some type of traffic source which all kind of details some more examples in a few minutes here, but you need that and from that traffic source you Want to have someone go down, and this is I it says you know it should be a landing page, but it’s a generic landing pages.

I have first and then eventually, you guys you’re going to need someone to opt in to your email list. So when someone opts in to your email list, then you have that that person you have that lead. You have that email, okay, finally popped up, so let me see if I can edit this guy landing page one that final there. It is look at that Wow. All right, so let me make my way out of here. Okay, so we have a landing page at some point someone’s going to be on this landing page guys could be a sales page.

It could be a page for a product, whatever you’re selling, whatever you’re trying to offer somebody. It doesn’t necessarily matter exactly. I have articles guys on stuff like this on my blog, so if you’re interested there’s more tons, more cons that you can guys go check out after this article, you have a landing page of some sort where someone does an action or whatever back and the day, The ultimate action that you must have happen in order to do any email marketing is, you have to have an opt-in where they enter their email.

They don’t need to enter their name. It just has to be at least their email, okay, and then they have to complete that form and submit it, which will then equal a lead. So now you have a lead. You have somebody that you can now email in the future. Okay, so, as you start moving down the process here, so now you have this. This form that’s make okay to lead guys. Now before that lead, I have an upsell here that doesn’t necessarily matter.

Let’s say you’re selling something online initially and you always can have that option to have someone else buy an additional product. I just put that in there it’s not super critical to this whole process here, but at some point guys you’re going to need a lead and when, when someone buys something on your website, for example, you’re going to get that email and that’s elite right, you have That person they already bought but they’re potentially into a buyer that could come back again and again again.

So that’s your job now email market to them to make sure they come back again and again again: okay, so now you have their email. What you want to do from this email is now you put them into an email autoresponder, which I have listed right here: okay, and so once they are in your email, autoresponder, which I’m going to detail exactly how you can do that in a software, you can Actually use, if you don’t know one right now, you can send them content, you can send them YouTube posts, Instagram post.

Maybe you can send them reports PDFs, whatever kind of content you want to send them to kind of build that connection. You want to give them guys what I recommend and what, if anyone knows Gary Vee, he has the whole strategy of Jab Jab Jab right hook, so you have three value posts or three value emails and then a sales email where you ask for something: okay, so Maybe you send them information, that’s going to help them and for whatever type of email list, they’re on, let’s say you’re in the your into the fishing.

You know niche right or whatever reason, and you have people who you’re sending you know cool articles about fishing or send them informational things about how to you know cast properly. I don’t know and you’re giving them reports or whatever doesn’t matter and then on the fourth email you send them. Maybe you send them something like I don’t know a sales? Hey guys. You know by this or check this out.

It’s going to really help you. I recommend you buy this and you can be an affiliate for that. It could be your own product, but that’s why I put affiliate. Oh Graham, that’s the money guys, that’s where the money is really made with email, marketing and the great thing about this guys. As you set this up, once you have an email autoresponder where you all you have to do, guys is create emails once and it’s automatically sent as you get more leads right, so someone joins or someone becomes a lead for you right and what happens? Is you start sending them the emails automatically and you don’t have to do anything so once you have this and set up on the backend week, I like to call it the back end once this is set up on the back end, this whole email autoresponder.

All you need to then focus on is getting people in on the front end and driving traffic to your pages, and then one people convert you’re going to always have them to email in the future. Okay and that’s the whole process, if that makes sense, guys any questions, please link them down below in the comments. I will be happy to answer them so now we’re going to jump into the tools needed for the process.

If you don’t already have some at the moment, so what I recommend guys when it comes to traffic because that’s the first thing we’re going to talk about. Okay is traffic. Okay, so I recommend free traffic first, if you’re just getting started, but if you can’t afford paid traffic or if you can at least maybe test with paid traffic. Initially, if you want there’s a couple methods you can use, you can use Google AdWords, which I think now is called Google Ads.

You can use Facebook Ads, Instagram ads YouTube ads or guys. You can even use any of these things for free. If you can rank a website on google, if you have following on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube, you can post content and tell and send people to your landing page where they can then opt in to your email list. Okay, now it’s up to you guys to now offer them something of value, so when they opt-in, they get something of value or something that they need.

Now, for example, you can sell a product or you can give something away for free. For example, I give away guys my top five tips plus a free bonus, and then I give you my number one recommendation. When you opt in to my email list down below that’s what I give away it’s completely for free there’s. No one you’ll have to pay for it, so it’s ace enticing way to get people to opt-in to my email list, okay and then guys this udemy solo ads.

I highly recommend this because it’s actually a great way where you can use people and get people on other people’s email lists, because someone has already opted in to someone’s email list and a site like yuna mean these people have these massive email lists, then you can Go on there and actually have like a guest post or like a guest email on their email list and promote your page or promote your offer.

So you can actually have someone email, their entire email list, your offer with your link and they click that link and they can go to your landing page and potentially opt-in for your email list and it’s a great way because there’s people who already opted in to An email list they are much higher likely they have a higher potential to opt-in to your email list, because they’ve already opted into one before so they’re kind of used to that they’re, not kind of fresh traffic that hasn’t been.

You know it hasn’t seen this stuff. Now is that a good thing or a bad thing, maybe they’re numb to the whole thing, that’s up to you to decide, but it’s actually not a bad way. You can get a decent amount of people about amount of leads right. I mean guys what I have here is I’m actually going to link this whole funnel down below it’s it you’re going to need to create an account with funnel lytx, which I’ll link it down below guys, it’ll, be like the second link or something in the description Check it out, it should say funnel it exfol process or whatever something like that down below, and I will actually you guys can get access to this actual funnel yourselves, and what you can do here is in the settings tab that I have on some of these Things, for example, udemy solo ads.

I have a link here and, if you actually click move myself over to the side here, if you click this in notes, section which is going to be right here below the parameters, let’s see if it’ll go to, if it’ll open up here, if you click that Note section: it’s actually going to detail you guys exactly what oh yeah here: okay, oh! No! It’s going to go away, but for guys for you to meet when you use my link, for example, you’ll actually get a five dollar coupon on your first solo ad.

So it’s it’s kind of like an affiliate marketing way for me, but at the same time that’s also helping you. So if you guys have any questions, if you want to go to these actual sites to actually sign up or check them out, you can do that. You got a five-hour code or a coupon code with you to me and the same time guys now we’re going to now move down on into the landing page features, because you’re going to have to have a landing page, because someone can’t join your email list if They don’t have a place to opt-in right.

So that’s the whole point. So as there are two things I recommend at the moment, I recommend click. Funnels click. Funnels is the more expensive option when it comes to landing pages, but guys like that, like I just showed you for you right. You can also click on the notes section and now it’ll take you guys to a 14-day free trial. If you are interested and that’s at the same time, get response also, I think get response is a 28 or 30 day free trial, with the link that I have posted there.

If you are interested in these sites, I recommend checking them out at least trying out the trials and then seeing which one you like better or seeing, which one you want to go forward with. Okay, so click funnels is probably the easiest most effective way to create landing pages that are actually going to convert they’re like drag and drop. They have a ton of templates up on there and you can just simply modify it to fit whatever you’re trying to your offer is, and then you can then implement an email autoresponder which I’ll get to in a second, and you know integrate that with her click.

Funnel so when someone puts her email in and the click submit’ it’ll automatically get sent to your email autoresponder, even though it’s not through click funnels, it’s you know to me that makes sense. Okay, get response, you guys can also do the same thing. You can actually create landing pages with get response. I think it’s extra $ 15 per month on top of what you’re paying for your email autoresponder, but that leads us into the email autoresponder.

So when it comes to your email autoresponder, I recommend get response. This is what I actually use, I’m not going to recommend something I don’t use. There are other things out there guys, especially for landing pages too. There are other things out there. You can do your research to figure out which one you want to actually use. This is what I recommend, because this is what I actually use myself.

The links to these things guys will be down below in the description if you want, or if you actually go onto the link of this actual funnel the links will be in the notes section. I believe of these little these little pictures or whatever you want to call them. Okay, so with get response, you can create landing pages now, they’re, not super super easy to drag-and-drop. You can easily make them guys.

That’s what I currently use at the moment to make some of my landing pages, because it’s only $ 15 per month extra charge and at the current moment I don’t need something: that’s more expensive, but the great thing about get responses. That’s all in one. It’s a great place to kind of house everything you need in one place so guys when it comes to this type of stuff. That’s what I recommend everything like I said before it’ll linked down below you have any questions on how to do this stuff.

Please please ask them in the comments I’ll be happy to explain them I’ll, even happy to even happier to make another article showing you guys exactly how to do this, but once this is all set, and once you can cue an email us to your email, autoresponder, Which is super super easy to do all you need to do guys then focus like I said before on the traffic may be paying for traffic, or you know narrowing in narrowing, in your free traffic and getting more and more traffic, because the more and more traffic Guys is going to be ultimately how you can now establish that connection and then start to sell items and products to these people on your email us and that’s how you’re going to start making over 100 dollars per day and to be completely honest guys.

That’s not that hard to do. It may sound like it right now. But if you want to do this, all for free you’re going to have to put in the work to create a ton of content to have people discover you and to have. People actually want to learn more and to go. In more depth, with whatever you’re offering now, if you’re selling things on you know, Facebook, ads or you’re running ads to your to your products doesn’t necessarily matter because now you want to implement email marketing to make more money on the back end, and you guys can Easily start generating over $ 100 per day, once you’ve let the strategy, and once you start getting enough traffic into your funnel, hopefully that guys that helps you out, like I said before anything any questions down in the comments below.

That’s number one number two them, which is the most important part guys is when your email marketing, when you do these consistent email marketing technique right. What you want to do is it’s got something that garyvee you guys are familiar, has been preaching and had. Your hours, your website, Your phone number 100 % And make sure that lines up with your Google And your Yelp listings too Right I went into a coffee shop recently I Was in northern California, You drink a lot of coffee, ( laughing ), It’s true And the cashier was looking At me, like I don’t know like, maybe she wanted to rush me and I’m thinking they’re Open for two more hours, what’s the deal, ( laughing ) Sure enough, they were Closing in five minutes I go, but your Facebook says and I wanted to Go into my spiel like this, but I saved it got a quick Coffee to go fortunately, but that’s the whole point.

I left with a customer experience that wasn’t as ideal And then onto probably one of the largest most impactful components: content Right, always preach Quality over quantity Yeah, so you definitely Want to make sure you vary your content, So mix it up. That’s entertaining I mean social media is escapism. Oh yeah, Throw in a good laugh But also educate me, So I always tell my friends: That I follow my dentist on Facebook and they look At me, like I’m crazy, Why right What And it’s because my dentist Shares really educational tips and tricks like how to whiten my teeth without spending hundreds of dollars.

I saw also my yoga studio was just giving a friendly Reminder to stretch how to maintain the zen, which Is really important in life? Absolutely Also, sharing testimonials that you’ve already Received on Yelp and Google and turning it into a Facebook post Right repurpose that content Take that review. Let’s Say it went on about your your ice cream, you’re an ice cream shop, And the review goes on about How you have the best flavors, but the ultimate flavor Is definitely rocky road, Absolutely Yeah, it’s the best Hands down.

So you have that review that the customer went on About your rocky road ice cream and then use Canva or Something and in the background of that review and select A picture of the rocky road on a nice ice cream cone. It really brings it to life. For those of you that don’t know, Canva is a free website that Has all sorts of templates and kits and graphics For literally all things that you could possibly create Like social media templates, Facebook headers all that Good stuff and it’s free – I use it pretty religiously, Also article, So I’m a huge advocate, Of article I love article Just keep it on the shorter Side, attention spans are short Seems like under two minutes: Or so under three minutes Yeah.

Definitely I would even a minute is good and also doing behind the scenes footage. That’s one of my favorite things about following local businesses is like well, I wan na know how This all comes together And showcase your staff And also repurpose anything your customers take User generated content And I think what gets A lot of people hung up on, creating article is, maybe they don’t have a production set like we do right, (, laughing ) And that’s okay.

Our smart phones are Pretty darn good right, Yeah they’re, pretty smart, Take a article with your phone and even it doesn’t have To be the best quality Go behind the scenes. People like that story like to see the other side of things, and it really helps them. Relate to who you are as a business owner You’re, not just some faceless company. So next up we have these groups. Can you tell us a little Bit about what the Facebook groups are and how I can potentially leverage It as a business owner Yeah, so definitely Encourage you to pay attention to other like-minded Businesses, but also groups to piggy back off the Engagement, you already have, I will say, content is Where you wan na spend most of your time, but Groups can be an advantage to getting your business More exposure for sure, So next up we have advertising.

What do we do with the Paid advertising aspect Yeah, so it’s no secret. Facebook has gone on Record to say organic reach is on ( whistling ) the decline Don’t give up on it. Organic content is still Alive and well and breathing, but I think Facebook posts that you boost has a lot of potential and you Can reach a targeted audience, which is one of favorite things about it? You can start off with like five bucks and you can get in front Of a specific demographic age group, zip codes and That way, you know your post is going to reach the right people And with I would kinda Look at the post that maybe have done the best And then boost those and get those that reach out.

That’s a really good point. Thank you for bringing that up. It’s usually ( laughing ) Wait you’re the expert ( laughing ) I dabble So with Facebook. It’s you wan na go ahead and let the post that you’re Doing hang out organically for a little bit, Let it chill see how it Does garner some reach Now once it garners some Reach then boost it, That’s what we found to work best While a lot of people. I Speak to think, there’s no way to track this to ROI.

That’s a total myth. You can actually go ahead and look at it’s called your insights tab and it breaks down everything. You know what your audience is liking engaging with. Are they Clicking on the links, what time of day they’re doing this, and when you look at all of that and really understand it, the insights you can truly be informed about. Where do I go from here right Like? Where do I go from When it comes to which days work best to post, what Time of day works best Does my audience prefer The entertaining posts more than the educational And on which days And from there you can truly Come up with a great strategy, What happens if I’m not Getting maybe the engagement that I want? Are there any like, like Just great pro tips or boosts that I can do to help me.

Exactly Or whatever you do, You could also ask a question: What is your “ go, to” order when You come into our restaurant Or, what’s you favorite thing on the menu and your favorite person to dine with, And so it’s your customers Spreading word of mouth about what’s great to eat So on Twitter and Instagram Hashtags are super relevant, but I don’t always see It as often on Facebook Are they a thing.

Absolutely I mean here’s the thing when it comes to using hashtags Whether it’s on Twitter or Instagram or Facebook, Or if you’re just posting either way you got ta monitor it, because it’s going to be Different for each business, It doesn’t hurt to use Them just be mindful and use relevant, hashtags Perfect and probably only one or two Don’t go overboard. Just a few Yeah, you don’t need to go overboard.

Google Analytics – How It Can Help Improve Your Business

So I talked a lot about with my clients, the smart objectives. So this is objectives for your business or for your website or anything what you do in life, which is so the smart objectives are specific, measurable, actionable, realistic and time-bound.

So in regards to Google Analytics the important one is M for measurable. So there’s no point in having a website out there. If we’re not actually learning about whether that website is working for us, you could have 10,000 visitors coming to your website. But if you don’t know that 10,000 visitors who come to your website and be what those visitors are doing when they get to your website, there is absolutely no point in having a website at all.

It’s just of no use to your business, so I would thoroughly and encourage you whether it’s Google Analytics or any other stats tool and to have a a tool on there, which is grabbing those stats for you. So you can learn about your audience and how better to engage them. One of the first benefits of installing Google Analytics on on your website is actually its influence. It has on how your your website gets indexed, so if you’re using analytics and Google automatically knows that you’ve added a page to your to your website so and how it does this is when that page goes live you go and look at it.

It triggers Google Analytics and to load, and then it says oh well, this is a new page. I need to add it into my index unless you’ve switched it off using the robots and txt file. What this means is so Google also has a an automatic submission tool, so you have to manually sorry not on automatic and manual submission tools. You have to go and submit your your web pages manually. This just takes that that take takes out that extra step, so so long as you’re using Google Analytics.

Google knows, and whenever you add a new website web page to your website and it’ll index it within I’ve, seen it happen with the matter of hours 24 hours evening. The second tip which I’ve got is about understanding your visitors. So the key thing about the visitors to your website is looking at the they used to be called unique visitors, but it’s now sessions. They introduced that within the last sort of twelve months people used to talk about hits now hits could mean that you can load up a single webpage, but there could be a hit for every image that loads on that page and for the JavaScript in for the Style sheets – and things like that, so one webpage could generate 50 hits.

So that’s why we’re really interested in unique visitors or sessions to the website, because these are individual, unique people who are visiting your website. And this means that you can average that that data out over a period of time and see how many individual people are coming to your website and interacting with it over a and you know a minute-by-minute. If you want to get real-time information, but probably most people look at their stats on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, and this just allows you to give benchmarks and what those benchmarks allow you to do is that if all of a sudden, you see a dip In your website traffic, you can react to it so if, for example, you’ve uploaded a page of content which violates Google’s Terms and additions, for example, so they’re no longer listing your page and search engine, you can react to it D list that page go and tell Google about it and hopefully get that traffic back up because don’t forget nowadays, most people to validate a business they’ll go and have a look at their website.

If your website’s not being indexed in Google they’re, not going to be able to find you equally. If most of your website, traffic is driven through organic and search engine results, and your website disappears off planet you’re going to lose that business, your business could go under so keeping an eye on how your website is performing. If you start to see it tail off, you can react and hopefully and build that traffic back up to where it was before.

The third thing I want to talk about is and the different what a pageviews and fountain what constitutes the bounce rates? It’s a really common. I do a lot of workshops in this and it’s the most common question. What’s the bounce rate, so bounce is basically when somebody lands a new homepage and they leave without engaging with the site or basically doing anything, so they don’t scroll down. They don’t click on the link, they don’t read a article.

They don’t do anything and by default, that period of time is 30 minutes, and so, if somebody landing site doesn’t do anything with it for 30 minutes, then that’s considered to be a bounce. You can manipulate that. I think you can tell Google to reduce the bounce rate on your website if you want to, but typically if I mean, if they haven’t done anything in the first sort of 10, 20 30 seconds, probably unlikely to do anything with your website.

Anyway, so so Google displays this bounce rate metric and through analytics. The next thing I want to talk about is goal conversions and funnels so goal conversion. I talked about in a previous article about and the three things that happen within seven seconds. So the message you’ve got to get across is who we are, what you do and where do you want your customers to go to next so that where to next is and what we call a goal conversion? Ultimately, we want something to land on your website and either and pick up the phone or submit a contact form or buy products for me.

So so you can tell Google and Google Analytics what that goal. Conversion is so, let’s call it a contact form submission. The funnel is how they reached that point. So we create a funnel. A simple funnel might be land on the homepage. They go to the contact page and then they hit submit so there’s three steps in that. Funnel we want to and the way the reason why funnels are important is, it might be the let’s say you have thousand visitors to the website.

100 of them hit the contact button, but none of them have, and none of them are completing the goal. Well. Okay, now, what we can do is see where customers are dropping out at that funnel. Maybe we’ve got too many form fields in the contact or maybe the contact forms is broken, so this gives us an opportunity if we see that as a dropping out our particular points in that funnel that you’ve created for them.

You can react totally web developer to go in there and fix it. One thing which changed and quite dramatically probably about two or three years ago, with Google Analytics and another question which I started to get asked quite often was you can you can have a look at the keywords which people have put into Google and view those on On through analytics to see what keywords people have searched on in order to land on your website and there’s this one specific keyword that people started to realize was just gaining in popularity for every single website and it was something called not provided.

So I kid you not at the top of the list keywords on everybody’s google analytics and starting to become not provided, and now it accounts for about 90 % of keywords which people search on so now, people aren’t actually searching for the keywords not provided and ended Up on ending up on your website, the reason why it’s happening is because most search is now on Google and, if you look at on the URL and you’ll, see a little padlock icon and it will say HTTPS instead of HTTP, you know forward slash, Google com, So those searches people are doing being pushed through a secure, socket layer, HTTPS so through a secure layer and what Google does is it just obfuscates them? So you can’t actually see what those keywords are.

So it does that for privacy reasons to protect the person who’s browsing the web so now you’re getting loads of really useless information about keywords through Google Analytics, which is really frustrating so the workaround for it there is a workaround, it’s pretty straightforward! You can install something called Google Webmaster Tools onto your website and if you’ve got Google Webmaster Tools installed on your website and you can actually see what and searches are being carried out and resulting in your web page being delivered in the search results before people get To your website, through and through Google Webmaster Tools, so you’ve actually got access to that list of keywords and through another Google tool, it’s just really frustrating that you can’t see it through Google Analytics.

So that’s the Google not provided workaround and which there’s more information about it on my website or if you google, for it I’m sure you’ll be able to find a plethora of different tips how to work around it. So, just to summarise those key points, the reasons why Google Analytics is really important. So first it talks about smart objectives. Google Analytics allows you to measure the prompt to your website and happy for interacting with your website, and it has an immediate impact on how quickly can get pages indexed in Google search engine.

We can see how many unique visitors are coming to our websites and and measure that on a regular basis, we can have a look at bounce rates and see see whether people are landing on the page and how well they’re interacting on it and how many pages They’re actually viewing and finally, we look at goal. Conversions been creating funnels to track people right the way through to a call to action which we’ve created for them and at what point they’re dropping out of that process.

Let’s Get into Kartra and let’s look at the way that we’re going to send emails. Inside a courtroom, I’m going to tell you I’ve been doing this since 2009. I’ve Used a lot of different pieces of software, then by far Kartra, does more For our business of anything else, when we switched over to character, we Actually cancelled eight different pieces of Software, because Kartra did all those things for us.

So if you’ve already got Kartra great, if you don’t there’s a link below you can read a article. It’s Free, you don’t need a credit card to read the article and once you’ve read The article, if you do want to get a trial of Kartra, you could actually get one for Just one dollar now before I started sending emails, I got Kartra all set up. And I’m going to tell you you want to do that. You know you want to.

You, know, set Up all your list in there, you want to establish your payment. Integrations. You Want to do all the stuff, then you need to do to set up your Kartra account. I’r Not covering that in this article we’re just covering emails, but I’m assuming That you’ve got all that done because you don’t want to send emails out if They click and they can’t go to a page and nothing works. Okay, so make sure you Get all that set up first now, once I did that, of course, I set up my pages where They could click on it and they actually goes to a page and there’s actually a Product there can they can actually buy that product, so you have to have that.

Done before you set up these emails because you’re going to have them, click and Go somewhere now now I say that, but that’s only if you built a big Kartra If you’re sending them to like a WordPress website or Magento or Shopify Then you don’t have to worry about that. You can just put that link in there and Send them to that page now you want to start with your leads. Okay, so before you Can even send an email and Kartra you need somebody to send it to somebody to Receive it, so you can upload those two Kartra and they have a little bit of A lag maybe a day or two before they’re actually going to approve them, but you can Just upload all your leads to Kartra and then don’t forget to tag them me.

They Even have different products, you have different businesses. I know I have a Couple different businesses in there, so we have those people categorized in There so the emails go out to the right people so make sure you’re setting up All your tags, you’ve tagged them properly, buyers, non-buyers people who Downloaded stuff, that’s like the thing, and you have all that set up first, that Way, you’ll have all that done.

When you go to send your email, you can send it. Based on those tags, cuz you’re going to need to do that now, if you need to Collect leads: you can also do that in Kartra, I’m not covering it in this article. I’r covered emails, but you can set up opt-in forms in Kartra and you can Actually start building your email list and once you build it and they opt-in in Kartra they automatically get put on list, so you don’t have to worry about That it’s an all maduk thing now before you send these Broadcasts before you send these emails make sure if you’re uploading, your own List then you do it at least a day or two in advance since they’re there, when You want to set it out because there is that lag before they actually go into The system now you may find this irritating and I get it, but it’s really Super important because Kartra is worried about deliverability and if they Don’t go through these lists and make sure they’re done properly.

Then your Emails aren’t going to get delivered, so we want to make sure that that is done. And they’re actually doing that for your benefit, I’m going to send a broadcast so The first thing I’m going to do is I’m going to go over to my campaign. So let’s Take a look at that real, quick, it’s on the left hand side and then you tap Campaigns at the very top of the page, and then you select broadcast below so You can see that there once on the correct page, I simply tap the green plus Button and that green plus button is going to be on every single one of your Kartra pages, when you’re starting out, so you know whether you’re building a Sales page whether you’re doing email sequences, whatever you’ll, always have That green plus button, so that’s where you want to start off there.

So then Kartra is going to take you to another page and it’s going to have your Automations, your send your schedule and all your finishes and all the things you Need to do let’s go over and take a look at that now I’m going to choose to send my Message through an actual email, you can also send it through an SMS, which means It’s going to go to people’s phones, you’re going to need to use something like Twilio Or next mo or troppo, or something like that and you’re going to have to Integrate it, if that’s what you’re going to do, the next part you’re going to come to Is the send from area? This is actually the email that they’re going to see that it Actually came from and should they respond, the laxing respond to this email.

Too, once you build your email list within Kartra, you can choose who it’s Going to go to you’re going to get this drop-down and you can choose, you know: All types of different things, if you don’t have your list really built that Much yet you want to send it to everybody in the database, then you’re Going to click and I’m going to show you on the screen here: real quick you’re going to Click where it says everybody in my database, but you can also click on, has Opened email has not opened email that type of thing now the cool thing is Kartra is actually going to tell you how many leads you selected once you did.

That so you’re going to know upfront how many people is going to go off to now. Here’s a screenshot of that it says five leads selected. Five emails filled in None of them are blocked and five total to sins. So before you send you’re going to Know how many emails going to actually go out now? The next thing you can do is A be split test, so you know you can have two different emails going out depending Upon what you want to send you know, maybe you want to test one message in One different message in the other one now will tell you when you’re, when You’re testing, you only want to test one variable, so maybe it’s the headline.

Because you’re trying to increase open rate, but the email is identical. If you If you change the headline and the email you’re not going to know, you know which Email is better if you have the same exact email in two different headlines: You’re going to know which headline got them to open it more than the other one. So make sure you do that now you can also toggle between basic and advanced Now, when you do that, that’s going to give you some different options that Don’t forget, you got ta, have links in those emails when you’re sending those Emails out the whole point is to get them to click and go somewhere and do Something whether it’s a download, whether it’s to read your blog, whether It’s to buy a product, so don’t forget to put those in every single email now, once You do about one email, then you do your other email, maybe changing the headline.

So that you can test the difference in those headlines now, if you go into the Advanced setting on these emails, you can actually change components like Templates for your emails in there in colors and backgrounds, and that type of Thing: here’s a screenshot of what that looks like and you see you have design Templates right there, you have full templates, my templates, so it gives you That added feature right there now here’s an example of one of the emails Here and some of the things that you can do with it and if you notice, you know, The font really stands out well here, because the background color is Different and you can do a lot more with it if you’re in the advanced now there Are schools of thought that say? Well, you know email should be basically should Look like every other email they get from their friends and that type of Thing we tend to use just black text on a white background and I’ll put some Images in there every now, but those seem to convert better for us.

Than anything else, these take a lot more time to build ones like this, but if That’s what you want to do. You can certainly do that in culture now, one Thing you want to be careful about, is don’t click the X or delete button, an Email editor, unlike building pages and other things, In Kartra, where you can just hit the go back button once you click, the lead is Gone, you can’t go back so you’re going to lose everything.

You worked on. I’ve Written my two e-mails: does that mean I can go ahead and send them now? No, not Quite because what we have to do now is decide what percent of these emails are? Going to go to one group versus the other group, the percent has to add up to 100 %, so you know, maybe you want 50/50 split. Maybe you’re really concerned that This one emails not going to do well, so you only want to put ten person in that Then you would put 90 percent the other one either way.

You’ve got to make that Decision at this point, what is the percentage of split now, if you’re, using Any type of dynamic variables – and what I mean by that is it changes each time an Email goes out, so I may have deer and then put it in first name right. There And it’s going to fill in John or Bob or Becky or whoever it is. When do you send Out your test, email, which you should every single time, it’s going to say, dear Test in that particular area right there, so keep that in mind now, once you play Around the park for a little bit and you see what an automation is you’re going to Understand that, but you got to get in there and kind of work with it a little Bit I know initially when I looked at it, I’m Like what the heck is that? What does that mean? But now I know it and I understand it so it just takes some time and don’t quit.

You know just keep working you’ll get this stuff. I know it seems foreign to You, but it only seems foreign to you cuz, you haven’t done it once you’ve done it. A few times it’s going to seem very commonplace, so number one I can set up. An automation to go out to people who have not opened my emails after a Hundred hours, okay, I can send them a whole different email that may make them More likely to open it, maybe I can change the subject line.

Do something Along those lines, so those automations are really helpful. For cleaning up your list and getting people to open your emails when they’re Not opening them now you can also break these into lists. So number two is: if a Lead has actually opened my email, I may add, Them to another list, because I know these people are interested in my Product or services now here’s an example right here: you don’t have to do.

This, but you probably should it’s a it’s a helpful way to further segment. Your Leads by setting up these automations, so you can see here. We’ve got a couple: Things set up early holiday, painting announcement within a hundred hours if You know the lead does not open that particular one then subscribe the lead. To the list ignored, email, okay and then we have some different emails that go Out on that, and then the second one says that lead opens email, early holiday, Painting announcement: okay, subscribe them to the list: open email, And then we can send them a different automation now, at this point, Everything’s set up, I can go ahead and get ready to send out my emails now.

The Cool thing with Kartra is: I can set it up to go out right now. I can schedule it. For another day now, keep in mind the way the time works in Kartra. It’s always Set on Eastern Standard Time, so if you’re in the West Coast like we are, we Are three hours behind them? So you know if I want to send an email at you know: 12:00 noon, I’m going to need to send it for 3:00 p.M. In the afternoon. It’s all going to be settled Eastern Time, so you can do that and the last Thing you can do is if you’re working on an email and you’re not ready to send it.

You want to do some more stuff to it. You can just save it as a draft. Now the cool Thing is once you’ve sent ten broadcast in Kartra. It will start to suggest to You the best time of day and week, a month of when to send out your emails. That’s a good overview on the emails. Best Tools to Grow an Online Business in 2020

So in this article here today, that’s what I’m going to be sharing with you make sure to hit that thumbs up and all of these tools are really easy to use, because I’m not going to lie.

I’r actually a bit of a technophobe, the first and most under utilized tool. It’s going to be something that you may be like whoa Lauren hold up here. I thought that was just for professionals. They were looking to connect with other professionals or to find jobs and to have people spam me with their jobs. You do know it’s the easiest and a free way to find your dream customers. You can literally type in a job, title or type of person and I’ll pop up.

So just think what is my dream customer do professionally and then you can find them just through searching like this, have conversations with decision makers and three get in front of people who have the income to pay. You y’all over 45 percent of LinkedIn users make more than 75 a grand per year and you don’t even need the paid version for any of that right now. It’s kind of a golden age just like Facebook about ten years ago, so you are able to grow real fast.

So what should you post on there? But I think I’m going to do an entire article on it. But for now make sure that you’re on LinkedIn make sure that you’re posting at least every other day and that you’re connecting with people and that your profile is optimized and so usually dinh and realize that there’s a lot of opportunities there. So yeah. I, like LinkedIn, for building relationships. My company, we call it permission based relationship marketing, but maybe I’ll do a article on that in the future.

So drop a comment: if you want it, I over 10,000 followers on there right now and we’re getting a lot of our clients from LinkedIn. Now, in fact, half of our plans now coming from LinkedIn, whereas before it used to be like 1 % – and I was only a few months ago, so there are some sorts of tools that you can use in order to generate. You lead using LinkedIn and if you want to know what they are just send me, a direct message on LinkedIn saying, lift in leads and then I’ll make sure that I know what that means.

So I can tell you about it sneekly, but you can connect with absolutely anyone and pro tip when you connecting with you, make sure that unknown, like I’m doing right here with these people and offer your services to them in a really non family. My second necessary tool is Google Drive. You would be shocked about how many will don’t know that this is a thing you get to use. Google Docs, which is literally just Microsoft, Word, but it’s so much better here.

Let me show you why. So when you create a new document, it will pretty much just open up and your entire team can be working on it all at once and it automatically updates. So while you’re typing something in someone else can be too so. Google Docs is great, but then there’s also Google sheets, Google, slides and even more so we use Google Forms to our business. So this is the way that you can collect data from clients.

All of these different things that I personally don’t use, but it just keeps everything organized and so simple, so we make slideshows all the time for our clients and then with regards to our sheets. We mainly just use this to keep on track of our clients and various different things that we’re doing, and if you look at this here, this may look really ugly, but these responses are from a Google Form that we had and we set up an integration so That we don’t even have to fill out this spreadsheet, it happens all automatically and it’s just such a nice way for our whole team just to have all of this information all in one.

But even if you just want to use it for personal, it’s great because it means you don’t need to download anything, it all happens and stays in the cloud which means that it doesn’t take up any space. Your computer and Google also has Google Calendar now I’ve taken these three off because there’s a lot of personal stuff there, but these three calendars, my whole team – shares them. So we all get to see when payments are due in on a calendar and it means that we’re organized and on top of things, which means that we’re being productive and not having to go ahead and check everything which allows you maximize your effectiveness and your efficiency.

So how do you know what you’re doing each day you can have your Google Calendar dictate it and you can set it up so that people can meetings with you for that specific thing on this is a big. Take then for a more user friendly project management tool. Monday dot-com is absolutely awesome. It’s super collaborative and everything inside just makes it really simple. So this is the inside of Oz and how we use it, and so there’s various different reporting’s that we do that we can keep track of in order to ensure that we’re both on top of our business and then we also have client trackers for our clients.

Inside of our programs, so I definitely recommend this I’ll leave a link below which gets you a free trial. So you can give it a go and a taster, because it’s something that just allows virtual teams to stay on top of that tasks in a really effective way, and the nice thing is, you can set deadlines, add tick boxes just so that everyone knows where everything Is and you can even have conversations about different things, which then people get notified about? It’s really really cool second to learn I like, for that is acuity, and I actually think I have a lane they’re supposed to be only for my clients to get a free month trial, but I’ll leave it down below, so that you can get it as well, And it’s where people can actually book a time to speak to you and so, if you’re, a coach or consultant or a service provider and you’re, not taking sales schools.

Well, you definitely should be, and people are going to be able to book a pool with you using this. You can also have questions on the cool booking form, which are essentially application question. So when you go on the pool with them, they can have already partially convinced themselves. They already need your help, so this is a whole nother different topic about human psychology and everything. But basically, you see, will calendar and allow people to book kinds of you using acuity scheduling all these every single tool links down below.

So by now you know an awesome platform which is totally free. You know how to dictate your time and how to optimize the people booking cause with you, and you know that you should be doing sales calls, and so next up, I want to talk about. Okay, once you have leads once you have a way for these leads to book time on your calendar, how do you actually get the money in your bank? Well, a little bit.

We use PayPal, PayPal, scoop people’s good, but there’s actually something called transfer wise and I like this cuz. The fees are really really really low so again I’ll leave it down below, but it allows people from all around the world to pay you, and so you need it invoice them out, and so you can just use a website like invoice generator literally, you can go On google and type in generate invoice online and you’ll find invoice generator invoice home all these things you can just use them for free, that’s what I do and it will allow you to actually take payment from people, businesses who are generating under a hundred day by Month, transferwise is a really good option if you’re taking payment over the phone, which I do recommend you off, then you stripe, if you’re under a hundred kpop months.

For you at that stage, but I’m around a pay per month, transfer wise as well as stripe, are going to be really good option to get the money in the bank. You can also have different clients come into your slack and then you can have blogs and blogs are essentially an office room where people can come in, they can go, but the cool thing is as they come and go they’re able to see all the previous messages That happen before, and so you can send files in there. You can send messages in that. Oh, my gosh, it’s if you have a team and you’re not using it.

You are crazy if you have a lot of individual clients and you’re, not communicating to them on that. Then you’re losing a lot of time, because it’s just such an effective way to communicate, and then it’s definitely another tool for teams. I really really like is loom. The audio show your face if you want to and just do articles, and so it means that when you communicating with plans when you’re communicating with your team you’d have to type things out, you just have absolutely everything in article format, which makes it so much easier To explain, I can’t believe I wasn’t using this up until about three months ago, because I used to have to try and say to a client know this part of the sales school isn’t very good.
