Now there are two versions of DaVinci Resolve the free version here and the studio version.

If you have a studio, dongle or if you’ve got the studio key you can plug in, then you can download the studio version here for your relevant operating system. Otherwise, pull down the free wouldn’t give DaVinci Resolve a try. Now DaVinci Resolve’he’s a huge program they’re, giving it away for free when you download it it’s compressed. So here we are in my downloads. You can see my zip folder that got created.

I can double click it to open and then drag this out and onto my desktop so that I can execute it now that we’ve extracted DaVinci Resolve onto our desktop I’m able to double click it to run it it’ll. Ask you if you’d like to verify it as a package you want to install, and now you have the option of installing various components associated with DaVinci Resolve. If this is the first time, you’ve run resolv’d studio, it’ll, ask you if you want to install the Postgres SQL database system which underpins it.

The other options you’ll have are DaVinci Resolve panels. If you do not have a physical Blackmagic Design panel, you can safely uncheck that additionally it’ll ask you about the Fairlight audio accelerator utility. If you do not have a Fairlight audio panel, you can uncheck that you do need DaVinci Resolve and the base version here. Further. You will need the DaVinci Resolve keyboards. If you have the hardware keyboard, if not, you can safely uncheck that and finally, with the Fairlight studio utility same story, so most users will only need DaVinci Resolve 16 or whatever version we’re on at that.

Given time that’ll save you some disk space and make it faster to install next, you click install the default DaVinci Resolve. Install folder will help you as you follow tutorials, as people will expect you to have your Luntz and compositions stored in this exact location. Finally, you’ll click Next and then install it’ll, install by copy and extracting all of the relevant application files. You will see a window pop up and execute some database rules may look confusing, but it is part of the install.

Finally, you’ll click finish and you now have DaVinci Resolve installed. If you’ve got the studio version, you will then be asked to put in your studio license key unless you have a dongle installed. When you run it, if you have the free version, it will not say studio right here when it launches and that’s it, that’s how you install DaVinci Resolve 16, if you’re just getting into resolve. Insight Into Empowered Sales Training With Kevin Graham!

I think you’re up in around Torrance today, but you’re based in Orange County, which is just up the road Peter and Kevin. I’m doing great John great.

To see ya and Kevin is a speaker, author, Sales Leader, with a proven track record of aggressive revenue growth, and what we want to talk about today is solution, selling wheel tip of the spear stuff, so um Kevin. Why do you think it’s still so important to focus in on? You know tip of the spear or top of the funnel solution selling well, at the end of the day, organizations aren’t buying a technology or a product they’re solving a problem or in a lot of cases, they’re trying to get to a new state versus a current State right and so, and so a lot of a lot of organizations are heading into you know say the latter part.

A lot of them are on calendar year, fiscal years, so having it heading into the latter part, and – and you know, a lot of companies out – there may be panicking a little bit about the numbers are not shaping up the way they they would like them to. What are some of the things that you think companies can and sales teams and sales managers can start to focus on now to really maximize the last part of the year.

It’s a great question. At the end of the day, sales success to me is about process and execution. You know, sales professionals tend to be highly intuitive and that’s not a bad thing, but it is a risk factor because it comes back to process and execution when you get to where you’re. Having struggling with your close rates, it’s typically a problem with qualifying or who you’re aiming for so anytime.

I work for an organization and try to improve their sales success. It’s a holistic approach because it starts to me again just like negotiation starts before the introduction sales success starts before you define your target market and prospecting, so you know, prospecting qualifying and closing those fundamentals, but at the end you need to be hitting on all cylinders Across the entire lifecycle of the sales cycle, but let’s face it a lot of organizations and sales manner and then spa be sales managers in particular get dragged into this.

It’s like okay, you know we’re running towards the end of the year. I’m going to dive into Kevin’s pipeline, but I’m going to dive into his late stage opportunities and I’m going to help him bring them home. I’m going to come in as a super closer and that’s where I’m going to focus how difficult it is it to get people to go back up the pipeline and realize that where they can make a difference and add value was actually in the early stages and Not coming in as the super closer you know, it’s there’s no substitute for experience right.

There’s. I think what separates the superstars are. The ones who’ve been hit by so many buses they’ve refused to get hit by that particular bus again, so they they protect and prevent. At the end of the day, you can still close on stuff. That’s dodgy, I believe, strongly in tools and techniques like a sequence of events and collaborating with the key decision-makers in that kind of communication back and forth, getting a good cadence back and forth so that there’s commitment on both sides throughout the stages and if you have To bring that in at the late stage, you still can, because that’s part of you know not just taking a sound bite off a call but documenting it with a follow-up email and getting their cut back and forth in that process, so that they are invested in The journey yeah and a lot of times, obviously you can you, can track what happens to you later in the process to what didn’t happen early in the process right so, as you say like getting that, cadence together and one of the things as we know, one Of the traps that people fall into is relying on only one or two contact points at a customer point married to that one contact right, it’s it’s a death trap, and yet we all do it.

It’s just. I think it’s human nature to try to have one partner that one coach, but it’s a flawed approach, especially an enterprise selling. I mean the days of one person. Have a signature authority on a large Spanish is long gone. Its consensus buying and you’ve really got to not just engage across the organization of the stakeholders that are effective, but you really need to protect against blind spot.

It’s because again experience helps and you can get taken out by somebody that’s way out and left field because, yes, the old saying goes, they all don’t have to say yes, but just about any one of them can say no yeah exactly, and I think Gardner has Some good statistics around the the average amount of people involved in a buying decision. As you go up, the you know the size of deal, and I think that’s something people should who are reading should just look at those statistics, because it might surprise you you might say well, I have deals of that size and I only know two people involved In the buying decision and they’re on average is eight.

So what are those who were those other six people right? It’s really trying to end, and I think it comes back to pain winner earlier I mentioned about trying to take them to a future state versus the current state. How you energize that and to me executive level. Engagement is done early early in the sales cycle and late late in the sales cycle. When it comes to approval and the rest of the times, you can kind of flood around with the heavy waited managers and directors, but the highlighting the pain and really you know.

Extracting that helping them understand the implication, you’ll spend the implication of the problem. It is really important because that’s how you’re ultimately going to get funding and and get deal approval. So when you work with them and talk with people nowadays in in some respects, the the landscape has shifted a bit and I think people have moved away from some of the fundamentals, because they’ve kind of got sucked into inbound.

Everything is coming in ready, qualified to you or theirs or their. I have this technology where, let’s face it, I could send their five thousand emails prospect emails today and I could sit back and say done my job. So how do ya? How do you help people can’t go back to the fundamentals and realize that it’s still the hard yards account? Well, it’s a tough thing and it’s it’s it’s context, specific so, depending on your selling model, in your specific business solution, where you affect an organization that types of companies you’re going after the fundamentals of conversational selling or psychology of selling and negotiation are always going to Be important in that one and relationship as selling is kind of come and gone with.

It will always always be relevant to have a relationship, but at the end of the day, in today’s world, you really jet to you’ve got to have a strong pipeline. If you’re going to have sales success because deals are going to fall through even the best of deal, sometimes drag-out, I mean technology sales, I’ve seen guys close deals at you know two or three sales people have worked on over a course of years, and you know I should them have fallen off and then finally, the timings right so there’s a lot that goes into doing big deals mm-hmm.

So what is the number one? What are a couple of the fundamental scales that you really reinforce with people that you think maybe there are being a little more overlooked than they should be well. The simplistic level selling is about prospecting qualifying and closing and at the end of the day, you’re trying to relieve pressure in the sales cycle. You’re not trying to be combative with your partner, it’s more of a dance than a knife fight, but I need to manage.

I think all great salespeople are control freaks to some degree, so you still need to manage any set expectations establish a level of communication of partnership in the process, because how many times have you heard a sales rep come back and all excited about a meeting a Week later, they call a prospect to find out where they’re at with it and the prospect, very barely recalls it and having the meeting trying to establish that and there’s a lesson from the like that bone donors.

They try to get you just one small thing get your client to do. One small thing get them to do you a favor one small thing, and that can be a progression that can build on that establishes a two-way, a back-and-forth yeah. No, I totally agree with you it’s that one where they come back, all excited and say fantastic meeting with the client, and you said: okay. Well, what’s the what’s that follow-up? Go I’m going to meet again in two weeks? Okay, what are they doing between now and to two weeks? And then what do you mean? That’s a well.

What action is the is the sell, is the customer or the prospect taking between now and the meeting? Well, none go great. You just got a continuation. You just go them. You just got another lunch date in two weeks you haven’t actually progressed the sale and that’s the old ABC always be closing. I think most people misinterpret what that managers all about. It’s not about lambasting your prospect with an end.

This block of closing questions. It’s about establishing momentum, momentum toward the close and, to your point, I believe, any objective at any point in a sales cycle is the next step. You’ve got to take that next step, so you know the the selling really doesn’t start until it’s time. Machines begin well a lot of times. The tough questions is closing on that step, whatever that isn’t yeah and and realizing the fact that you’re not you’re, operating on the prospects timeframe, so you’re the one who has to introduce some level of urgency into it because it may not be there, it may be There on their side, but it may not be too so.

Sales is a wonderful profession just about anybody, can get in and put the effort and they learn from their mistakes and grow and be successful. But at the end of the day you got to move the client and and that’s there you know you got to help. So you mentioned prospecting, and this is – and this is one thing that they’re you know that still seems to be a struggle and getting even probably more of a stroke because, as I said, people are getting spoiled by this notion of in the bounding fed hot leads And all of this kind of stuff and and backing off of good old-fashioned prospecting.

So what do you say to the people who maybe are neglecting the good old fashioned prospecting? Well, I say that prospecting is like fitness and if you’re prospecting for three hours, every third Thursday you’ll develop neither fitness nor effectiveness. If you decide take on a new fitness regimen and whether that’s walking two miles a day or something more intense, there’s lots of fear, uncertainty and doubt fun little confident we’re the right shoes.

All I forgot my music. Oh, I didn’t bring the right water. Oh, this treadmill sucks, you know at the end of the day, you’ve got to put those distractions aside and commit to the activity, because it’s about productivity results and feedback. If the productivities there, the results will be there. If the productivity is there and the results are not there, there will be mounds of feedback. The marketplace is self sharpening.

You just have to continue engaging, but to be an effective prospector. You need to not find a time but make the time on a regular basis. Yeah and you kind of got to embrace it right because it’s fundamental to what you’re doing and yes, we live in there. Unfortunately, we live in a culture today that celebrates short that doesn’t really and doesn’t really celebrate, paying your dues or putting in the hard yards.

So but you got to realize, as you said, if you want to be successful, you have to not just sort of go. Oh, I got to do my prospecting, but you got to say right got ta, do my prospecting and you have to recognize that the top of the sales funnel is a VIP very messy place. You take any singular activity. It’s tough to tie an ROI directly to that. It’s the old Wanamaker. You know half the money I spend on advertising.

I waste, I use, don’t know which half at the end of the day, you’ve got to commit, and I try to challenge people to have two or three very specific modes, because some people there’s so many social platforms. There’s so many engage, there’s so many ways to connect, have two or three primary and just commit to them, commit to them from an activity and a Productivity standpoint and the results or the feedback will come, and you also may be successful yeah and I think to Your point, though, I think it’s all and it’s always a combination.

It’s never one thing and I think that’s that’s the trap. A lot of people have fallen into, especially with all these tools that have come out where they think. Oh, if I just use this great like prospecting tool, I don’t have to do anything else and you go it’s never that simple. It’s always a combination of activity right and part of that human nature. I think if you look at the usage numbers on a tool, a phenomenal tool like LinkedIn Navigator companies, invest in at an enterprise level, yet very few.

Their sales reps take advantage of the monthly allotments of engagement, and you know at the end of the day, it’s about riding the bike not about when I say which bike yeah. So what are some of the other areas that you really focus in on helping people, and especially with one eye towards the latter half of the year? Well, so you want to close right. There’s lots of leads don’t age well, if you’re taking leads or you’re doing a lame job of engaging and not really just waiting for that thing to kind of self grow, that’s a challenge, but there’s opportunity to re-engage but you’ve got to be passionate.

You know, I believe, rule number one in sales is you got to drink the kool-aid if you’re not passionate and excited about what it is you’re doing how in the world you expected got in the other side of the table. The kid excited enough to make a decision and take action, but I think if you can re-energize, your focus maybe put some incentives out there, whether you’re self created. Sometimes we have to play mind games of herself just a drive through those hours of calls, but at the end of that you can reinvigorate a pipeline.

You just met approach it but very focused standpoint about what you’re seeking and again that’s the next step in the sales process. If you can’t get him to cross that bridge you’re not going to be able to get him to make the long journey ya know it’s. It’s a good point and I think that idea of keeping yourself energized and engaged – I had a great conversation, a number of months back with Santa misguides Kenton Lee, but he said that when he was prospecting right, he said you know.

If I make X amount of calls today and I make three appointments and I’m going to reward myself – we were reading a movie tonight. He goes. If I make you know all of my prospecting calls and I don’t make any appointments, but I’ve really worked hard. I tried I give myself a small reward because I put the effort in and that way it’s not an all-or-nothing. As long as I can look at myself and say I did everything I could tomorrow’s another day, I’m going to repeat it again right and getting some noise here, but oh yeah.

I know it’s you’re good. Hopefully it’s not troubling. At the end of the day, you’ve got ta hit the numbers, and you know you need to embrace it. One guy came out two years ago called the note quote: a look. If every yes is worth a thousand dollars – and it takes you four noes to get to that – yes, then each knows worth a couple hundred dollars. Yeah recognize that thank you for that. No I’ll call on you another time – maybe maybe not, but on the next celebrate that no because you’re never going to get your one.

Yes, unless you average, those four knows you’ve got to embrace the rejection, try to learn from it, but the end of the day. Don’t take it personal, it is always going to be a numbers game to some degree. You’ve got to engage at a competitive level. Yeah and I think that’s the point. I think it is always a numbers game to some degree. As you say, and despite everything, I don’t think that really changes and – and the point is it’s – it’s almost getting harder because we live in such a distracted society where people are so distracted all the time that, even if you do engage with somebody, they may have Every intention yeah, they may have every intention in the world of engaging back with you, but they get distracted, so you’ve got to keep going right and that’s persistence and it’s also being aware right because so many times we’re so busy talking in so many.

You know. Thinking about our own energy, but we’re not attuned to what the customers doing and that could be in a 1:1 conversation throughout the you know, solution selling in the whole gamut of factors, but you need to be cognizant that you’re, not necessarily at the top of the Prospects list, as far as their priorities, you’ve got to find a way to get in front of mine and yeah, and that’s tough.

As you know, I mean it’s really tough, because you want to close your deal and and it’s tough to realize that yeah the prospect. Maybe they really want to need what you have, but you don’t know about the 50 other things that’s competing for your attention. Right now, right, well sig, the late great Zig Ziglar said for every prospect you lose because you’re too enthusiastic. You lose 100 because you weren’t enthusiastic enough – and I know it’s not just about enthusiasm of people – feel when you’re genuine when you’re sincere interested in their problem.

Their solution you can persist and you feel like you’re, knowing them and you’re, leading on voicemails or you’re calling and calling and calling you know you could annoy them at some point. But at some point those emotions start to change. I mean I’ve had prospects where I’ve called and called and called and they’ve told me to stop, stop stop and at some point the time turns and they start to show a respect and they appreciate your persistence and then they give you a true attention.

You know, there’s no there’s no set answer it takes. It takes a grind, something yeah. It does absolutely okay, but we’re bumping up against the end of our time Kevin. But before we go once you get a chance to tell people a bit more about yourself what you do and how they can learn more about you, hey, that’s great John. I really appreciate, but before I do, I just want to congratulate you guys, because I know you’re evolved a pipeline or to a connected yeah Gartner Magic Quadrant.

Kids Planner Launch | Erin Condren

I’m very excited to dip into this and share with you guys what it all looks like and what it is and I’m fully aware I don’t have kids, but I know a lot of you reading do or so I wanted to get this a little bit early And share with you guys and then you can make your own decision as if this would work for your kid.

This is kind of targeted towards kids like aged about four to nine, but you know any you know I’ll open it and you guys can like see what you think – and this is a great idea for anyone that has a parent that plans and your kids really Want to plan too, but maybe you don’t want them in your nice planner um. You know, but these launched on June 11th and it is June 11th at one of this isn’t going up.

So, let’s get right into this, so we’ve got like a little pouch that it comes with very cute. So maybe, like you, keep this organized with all of their things. Sorry about the glare you guys, if there’s a little bit of glare, all right and then there is a little sheet that says how to rock your planner. Welcome to your very own. Kids planner have fun decorating and making it as cool as you with stickers, coloring.

Drawing and awesome activities before you get started here are a few planner fun facts that you’ll want to know. So. There’s some information down at the bottom here and it just says, make the month’s stick out with monthly stickers, so they’re stickers and then add a monthly flag to each stop each top of each calendar. I cannot talk today and then dot up your days with date. Dot stickers, very cool and then oh here’s a bunch of mini months from July 2019 through December 2020, so very, very cool.

This is the pack of stickers that it comes with we’re going to get into this in just a little bit, because I believe that this goes with this, so I believe that you can. You should be able to personalize this. I asked for it with no personalization, because clearly I don’t have a kid, but I will be gifting this to someone in my life. This is a really cool one that just has some planets and has some silver foiling, and it says my dreams are out of this world very cool before we move on.

Let’s look at this next to a regular, Erin, Condren life planner. I have my new one sitting right over here. The size is the same, but I want to show you guys the coil difference so clearly, there is quite a bit of difference in the coil, not as many pages, but still the same 7 by 9 size. So yeah, alright! So let’s open this up, I have an open day yet guys. Alright, let’s get you in the frame alright, so it’s just a regular cover that has the same like a little dashboard right here.

This has kids planner and then your name and 12-months office is really cute. Well, this is really cute. Today is going to be totally awesome, there’s a little tab. That says all about me cool, and this is like. Oh, this is like a guided one. This is really neat and it says my name is, I am you know, however years old and I live in blah blah blah and then this is me oh and you can like draw a little picture.

Maybe you can even put in a picture of yourself. That’s cool, and this is my family. My family members are, and you can list them there, and this is my favorite color. All these are so cool very nice. So this is like all about the kid. Like my hobbies, my favorite place to visit my favorite song. Oh, this is cool like for school and stuff, like they have a little reading log. The date title and pages read: that’s nice ooh and gold trackers.

This is really cute. This is really really nice and then you’ve got January through December. So, even if you started in like July, you can use this page first and then this page, you know like later very cool ooh, an allowance tracker, very, very nice. If you guys don’t do allowance at your house, you could always just tape these two pages. Together. You know what what are you talking about, what I’m saving for what I want to spend, what I want to save and what I want to share with others books.

I want to read nice, okay and then the very front. This is like a drawing page and in the very front of the first month it says be kind, and I am kind two and then three different blank boxes and then we’ve got it. Oh, create your own cover design, your own planner cover in this space. Above all, right, I think this is where these kind of come in, so let’s open up this sticker pack get with it. I know I’m going to get questions as of right now I don’t know what the price is on this so, like I said when this article goes up, it will be live on the Erin.

Condren websites just go click on it and then all the pricing will be there. I’m sorry, I don’t know the price just yet. So this is the one for January. So, like you could put all of these in here or whatever, and this I don’t want to do this because I feel like whoever I give it to they might want to start it in a different month so anyway, but this little January, like fits perfectly over Here on this tab, okay and then this month it says morning routine evening, your own teen and then, if you have any birthdays this month and then it says, place monthly sticker here.

So you put your January right here and then you put in all your date. Dots wherever they go and then you’ll have like today is New Year’s Day. Today is Martin Luther King Day and then today is today is and it’s blank some happy birthdays and some blank ones, and then it has like important and then a bunch of decorative stickers right there and then over on this side. It has monthly goals, and then it says this month I saw I enjoyed something fun I did was and then make your own comic draw a story in the panels below right, what’s being said or big loud sounds, and the speech bubbles, that’s really cute alright and Then now we’re into the next month, so you get these for every single month and clearly you don’t have to go in.

Like order of you have to start it in January. You can start it whenever, but it’s got all these decorative stickers and it has like, like in March, it says day like saving times begin. St. Patrick’s Day April has April Fool’s Day Earth Day, like it has little things in there already in there. I don’t know it’s just really cute stuff: oh I like these little hats, hide those fun and then we’ve got August, which is kind of the start of the next school season and then September cute stuff October.

You got all the Halloween kind of spooky things and then in November ooh pie always a good thing. Oh and lots of thumbs up yeah thumbs up the article. If you like it and then in December, we’ve got more holiday, gifting things and then it says winter begins and Year’s Eve. This is so cute. I like that. It’s guided. I really like that. It’s guided because I think, as a kid I mean even as an adult. Sometimes you look at these planners and you’re like I don’t know what I’m going to do with this.

I really like that. It’s guided okay, let’s keep going because I think they’re a little bit different each month. So I want you guys to see everything and then be able to like make your own decision so things on my mind, you can draw a little something. That’s in your mind, and then still this page is still the same. Let’s see, I believe it is yeah, so the routines and the birthdays, and then this page is the same and then let me look okay, so this page at the very end of the month is the same.

I saw I enjoyed and fun things I did was so that’s kind of like a nice recap of the month and then on the next page, just something a little bit different. So it’s got like a little word find and then we are into this ooh create your own shoes. Oh wow. I need some new shoes, Oh create my own shoes, and then this is the third months and then in here. Oh, if I were a superhero, hmm, that’s pretty neat and then we’ve got more of these things and then what kind of planet you want to live on? Another planet, one cool, color, the shapes below to create the solar system.

Nice! Oh! This is very satisfying this little box. That says I did it, that’s exciting, alright and then I am and then finish the crow write. A word on the grid above to finish the same. Oh very neat and then we’ve got a secret message, very cool and then let’s see what got next ooh decorate your cake. Very hmm. This is fun. Oh, it says what is that put on your thinking, cap and finish the picture below.

Well, there can be so many things you never know all right into the next month. You class time fill in the speech bubble with what your favorite things are to do in school, very, very fun. I really liked art in school. That was probably my favorite thing to do, is creative stuff and then there’s a little maze with a treasure. At the end, very neat, all right ooh, my funny face – I can make a few of those, oh goodness, and that says, would you rather ooh? Would you rather have tentacles for arms or four legs? I don’t know, would you rather be invisible or walk through walls? I’d rather be invisible, would you rather travel by spaceship or by dinosaur? I don’t know they both sound, very interesting right and then we’ve got the next one who trace your hand, oh my hand fits in there.

I could trace my hand and then give this to someone that’d be weird. Oh goodness, and then let’s see another word find very cool. Oh, it has all the words down here. Let’s see ooh, let’s go team, ooh sports or whatever I create a banner for the team that you love to root for and then animal alphabet try to write as many animal names. You can think. That’s start with the letter, A through Z. Oh, that’s kind of neat alright and then some fun in the Sun drop.

What you like to do when you were outside and then tell a story: cool, Oh a tic-tac-toe. Yes, I love a good tic-tac-toe game, oh and then a coloring time. It’s like little toucan thing well, jungle, scene, and then that is it there’s nothing else in the back. There’s no stickers, but I mean you get a plethora of stickers right here, so I think you’re good on the sticker situation, but yeah that is it there’s also a couple of other things that they had sent over in the PR kit.

I’m not sure if this is a bundle on the website or not, but these would be some great add-ons for the kids sticker or the kids sticker. I’m sorry, the kids planner, clearly Erin Condren tooltip’ Marcos be fabulous for a lot of that coloring in and then we’ve got these, which are those puffy stickers. I’m not going to take these out because it’s just the one sheet, but this one has three sticker sheets and I don’t know if they’re all the same.

Let’s take a look see: oh they’re, all different, okay cool. So these are all foiled. So this is like an orange foil like it’s, not gold, it’s like orange. This one is like a purple foil, and then we have these more turquoise foils, which is really cool, and I also like that this is not super gender II. If that makes sense, I don’t even know, if that’s a word but it’d feel like if you have a boy or girl that they could really like this, no matter what the gender of the child I mean, I know that the majority of decorative planners out there Are women? Yes, but you know there are men.

I have a man friend that is a planner ryan from a man with the plans I’ll stick his blog up in a card for you guys. If you want to read him, but you know, I think this is just a really nice creative outlet, especially if you have a parent that plans. Your kids really want to plan too. It’s just something that they can have for their own and they can draw on it and they can, you know, mess it all up or they can make it all pretty or whatever they want to do.

I just think: that’s really nice. So I really like that. This is not specifically female-driven that it’s really it could be for any kid okay, so that is it for me. Thank you guys so much for reading my article about the new Erin Condren, kids planner. I think this is a great idea for lots of kids that might like this kind of thing, so you know your own children, I’m sure you’ll know if they’re going to you know be into this or not also makes a really fun gift as well, which is What I’m going to be doing with this, but if you have any questions, feel free to post them down below, and what do you guys think about the kids planner? Do you think your kids would be into it? Is this something that you think would be a great idea for kids? Let me know down in the comments below so anyway.

That’s going to be it for me. Thank you guys so much for reading, if you, like, the article, make sure to give it a thumbs up and feel free to subscribe, and I will see y’all in the next article bye guys well folks, it’s time to kick it old school

Google Trends – Keyword Research Tools for Low Content Books

Google Trends has been around for a really long time and the beautiful thing about Google Trends is that it has trending information for gosh. I guess the last at least 10 years of Google searches, so you really can get a long term in his start overview of things that have been going on things that are still trending up things that are trending down, and you can also do comparative trends when You’re starting to do some research in it on a topic, so all you have to do.

Is you go to google and you type in Google Trends, and it will take you to the website now. Mine is obviously I’m in the United States and yours will automatically convert to whatever country you’re in, but you can easily go to this drop-down menu and then change the country that you want to explore now. Right now, World Cup is being talked about. Taylor, Swift Kim Kim Kardashian football and American football, and it’s important to understand that some things obviously are trademark to Kim Kardashian on Taylor Swift, but you can also make it more generic and talk about.

You know rock stars and celebrities celebrity planner, a celebrity diet diary where a person can write about their their favorite crush right without using any brand names. So a teenage girl’s, favorite band, crush note book and then you can have prompts in it, for why do you love this band? What’s their favorite music, I mean, I think you can get lots of different ideas. What are the favorite shoes of your favorite stars? Have you seen those shoes? How much do they cost all kinds of stuff be fun? What are your favorite teams for the World Cup? Why do you love these teams? Why do you love soccer? Do you play soccer all kinds of different prompt stuff and you can just scroll down see Game of Thrones is coming to an end, so that’s trending right now, there’s all kinds of different stuff.

So here’s a new diet, that’s coming out that might be well worth exploring now. Santa Clarita probably is trademarked Santa Clarita diet, but there’s probably ways that you can get around creating a diet Journal just for these people by putting the words in your back and by looking at some other aspects of this diet. So, like ketogenic diet isn’t trademark, because ketogenic is a scientific term. Paleo diet is not trademarked, but the Paleo diet is so it’s very important when you’re doing these sort of fad diets that you do look up the trade mark terminology of what’s protected and what you can actually use on your books, but having a diet book or A recipe book for people that are in the diet niche are hugely popular.

Obviously, and here you can go all the way and have years search for different years going back to 2014. I think you can actually go back to 2010, maybe 2009 or 7, and some other interesting facts on this page when you type in a topic it’ll pop open oops. Let’s see just, I know what I wanted to do here. If you look at this little hamburger menu right here, then you can explore trending searches and the year in search, and so that’s what I have open in these other windows here is the year in search.

So this was the year of 2018, and so these were all the top searches for what happened last year, overall: searches. What was in the news, the people that were searched, actors, athletes, beauty, questions now, here’s a wonderful thing to look deeper into that might possibly give you some ideas, you know cosmetic journals or planners or organizers, log books in all kinds of different. You know people who collect cosmetics – perhaps I don’t know different.

All these different diets is a treasure trove for you to do blank recipe, books on and research more about what these diets are about. Again many of these diets are trademark, so you do have to be careful, but you can talk about them in more broad terms, fashion, brands. Again, these are all trademark, but again you could probably create planners fashion, conscious planners and target these people to some extent: fashion, searches, grunge, 1990s, Meagan Markel, obviously, British fashion, food, yummy, keto pancakes, hugely popular all kinds of gifs how-to musicians – and I mean there’s just a Plethora of information, again people who say they don’t have any ideas.

You need to come to. Google, because Google really can give you all the information and the ideas that you could possibly even imagine. So these are all the searches from last year and these are the trends that are happening right now. You can go to real-time search trends, so that’s happening as we speak in the past 24 hours and you know there’s a lot of people who do a thing called trend jacking.

So sometimes, if you can see a trend, that’s happened and you know how to leverage that for a cover and it’s not a trademark term. So like spaceforce, for instance, when mr. Trump talked about the term space force. That’s a government agency, and so therefore a government agency can’t be trademarked, and so you could make all kinds of funny covers about space force which doesn’t exist. It was just a phrase, but it was something that you know took off and was very funny.

Also, a lot of the political things that are going on the political gas that are going on certainly can become a trending topic like khofifah, for instance. What on earth is that, but hashtag cofee Fey certainly was put on lots of people’s journals and shirts. So that’s called trend. Jacking. You obviously want to be a little bit cautious about what your trend jacking. Obviously again, sports teams and those sorts of things are.

You definitely don’t want to go in a trademark violation against Disney or any of these things doing Disney movies or Marvel movies. Do not do that because they will take your books down close down your account and you possibly could also face legal problems by trying to utilize some of these names. But events that happen you know hit by a hurricane. Is that funny not so much, but obviously it’s also a drink.

That’s in New Orleans and so hit by a hurricane is actually a term. That’s used for people who are drunk in New Orleans because they drank too many hurricanes. So you do want to be a little bit cautious about some of the things that you might look, that that you can trend jack and then here’s the daily trend, searches and again you can decide what country you want to look at. You know if, in a country where perhaps the World Cup is happening, you might want to look at the trends that are happening in that country.

That would be fun. Let’s see the santa clarita diet. Most of these are obviously going to be focused on national teams and sports leaders, sports teams and celebrities, but again there’s some things that you can possibly glean from what’s going on in these trends and do do some thoughtful planners again, as I mentioned earlier in the Article, you know a girl can have a crush on her favorite celebrities or boy bands or girl bands or rock-and-roll bands or grunge bands, and you can create journals that have covers that appeal to that mark it and also have things inside of the book.

That would be focused on that topic. So if you wrote down something for music and you had a music interior, then your covers, you could have 20 different covers that touch on 20 different types of music, while your interior can be the same interior having to do with your favorite music. For this band, your favorite songs by this band, your favorite, you know concerts by this band. If you had tickets and went to the concert you can put those tickets into that memory book, so you can make the inside very generic and then have the cover.

Be you know a teenage girls guide to favorite grunge bands or a teenage girls guide to favorite boy bands, so you can see how you can make that very generic, but very targeted and niche down as well. I haven’t researched this topic. I’m just throwing stuff out off the top of my head of things to explore. The other nice thing about. Google Trends is that you can search and compare. So if we have journals for women – and we look at journals for men, just for instance, we can also compare – you know journals for girls oops, and so it gives you different colors and you can see side-by-side these comparisons.

This is really where it’s awesome for us to take a look. Now, it’s not a hugely search term, and this is the last 12 months. So what I want to do is I want to go. I can go back 30 days 90 days, the past five years and all the way back to 2004. That’s when they started gathering this data might take a little while for them, but we can see journals for woman has reached its trending point way back here.

It was hugely popular in February March 2006 and it sort of had a upward cycle – obviously probably it Peaks every year at Christmastime, and we can also see that there was a much bigger trend back here and it’s kind of been trending down. Trending down trending down journals for men. Interestingly enough peaked right here in December 2011. So that’s very interesting that men’s journals were very popular then, and then here every year we have.

You know a spike at Christmas, but it has not reached its peak of back here. So it’s still a popular topic and all three of these types of journals obviously reach their peak in December. So that’s well worth taking a look at. We can now go back and we can look the past five years, which will give us a little easier viewpoint, but we can see that actually journals for this very specific type of group has been trending.

You know sort of down just a little bit. We can see, but as long as we’re making them with Christmas in mind, we should do find creating topics for these people. They don’t have quite enough data for this particular search, so you’re not going to get any sort of results down here. If, if we did have any results, it would put it down here now. We can also look at categories, which is a value I haven’t found that it’s super relevant and in this case it’s kind of flatlining when you’re looking in books in literature.

So we can see here once again we’re always going to be getting our spikes at the Christmas time Peaks now it looks like actually journals for girls really gets a quite a nice spike right here over the course of time. So perhaps looking at girls journals is really the way to go, because that is something that definitely has been growing over time, even more so than the women and the men’s journals.

And it would be interesting to look at journals for boys and see if we get any sort of spike now again I’ve drilled down into books and literature and if I sew journals for boys actually, as is just as popular as journals for girls. So something to look at well worth keeping an eye on. Let’s take a look here if we can go back to our all categories in the past five years and again we have color code, blue, red, yellow and green.

We can see while boys is not as popular as everybody else. It’s still pretty popular at Christmas time to have some sort of journal journals for boys in your inventory, so just something to think about and keep a track of. So that’s why I like to use Google Trends, especially for broad research, to tell me if the trend is going up or the trend is going down or if the trend has remained, as in this case, sort of remained the same, and my Peaks are always going To be at Christmas time, so this has been a valuable research article for you to see the value of using all this Intel.

That Google has gathered since 2004 to really see if it’s a value to go into the niche that you are interested in thanks and have a great day look forward to seeing you hopefully we’ll see you in my free Facebook group and maybe I’ll even see you In my paid mastermind course and group look forward to chatting with you further have a great day, bye, bye,

How To Upload Your Music To TikTok | How To Get TikTok Famous P2/4

What I want to talk with you guys about is how you can get your music on tick-tock now. This is pretty much a DIY way that you can do in case. Your distributor is not letting you put your salon on tick tock, for whatever reason now.

This would pretty much give you a high quality version that you can use as a part of your tick-tock content and for your ticks out campaigns that I know you guys have been planning now. This article is a part of the brand man network, tick tock series I’ll make sure to leave a link to those other articles in the description below. We also do tick tock consultations for those of you who are thinking about running those types of campaigns, I’ll make sure to link that in the description below as well.

Now, before we get into the tick tock stuff come and follow me on Instagram, I make sure to put my name on the screen. Come talk to me. Come engage with me. Come give me some article ideas, all of that good stuff. Now, with that being said, let’s get right into it. Now, for those of you who may not know tick, tock is pretty much a social media outlets used for lip-syncing articles sketches comedy stuff.

It’s pretty much vine 2.0 for those you who remember that the app has been used in previous viral campaigns, with the most notable being little knobs X’s. Oh time row. Now it’s something that men Shawn have preached you guys before that you should hop into. But before you can start to run your campaigns on that, whether it be through your own content or through influencers is, you must first get your music on the platform now normally.

This is something that your distribution would handle, but I have gotten DMS and emails from people asking. What are you doing the situation that it’s not on there? What do you do if you’re, a distributor does not offer the service to put your music on tick tock? So what I want to do is go into my phone and show you guys pretty much the DIY way that you can put your music on the platform in a pinch, all right guys.

So here we are on the home screen in my phone now the method that I’m going to show. You is pretty much the best way that I’ve seen to put your songs on tick-tock. It gives you the ability to put a high quality version of your song on there, and it also allows you to choose which section of your song that you want to actually be on tick tock, outside of that it links back to your profile. So as you’re doing what you do and the song starts to spread as people are using it and clicking on it and seeing it they’ll be able to see that it started on your profile now.

For this example, we’re going to assume that you know Drake has reached out to me and asked me to put his song on tick tock, because his label has dropped the ball, and just like you guys, I would tell Drake that the first thing he needs to Do is to create some type of promo article with the song attached now this can be as complex or as simple as you want it to be, meaning it could be an animated article or it could be you dancing to the song or like a mashup of Clips or it could be something as simple as the cover art, with the song underneath now I already created one so pretty much.

What I did is this so, as you can see, it’s nothing crazy. It’s just a cover art with the song playing underneath. Now I made this in adobe premiere. If you don’t have access to the adobe suite and I would recommend you something like iMovie or whatever the Android equivalent of our movie. Is you pretty much just need a software or app that allows you to edit article or stitch together pictures and music or article, or something like that now I’ll talk about a different method later that, if you just for whatever reason, can’t get access to these types Of resources there’s something else that you can do.

The quality of the song will be a lot lower in that, but it’s something that you could do in a pinch like, I said: if, for whatever reason you really can’t find an app or a software or something to edit articles on now, once you get you A problem of article credit: what you’ll want to do next is to actually go to tick-tock. So so here we are um. This is tick tocks, home screen. Pretty much content from people doubt that you already follow is the first thing that shows up.

You can see in the bottom left that there’s the home screen. You have your discovery button, which is pretty much the equivalent of instagrams Explorer fee. You have your inbox and then you have your homepage now. What you’ll want to do is you’ll want to click that plus button in the bottom middle of the screen. This brings you to the screen where you can either create a article. You see, has the filters, the timer, the flash all that cool stuff.

What you’ll want to do is you’ll want go to upload on the bottom right and you want to upload your promo article and it pretty much brings you to this screen. You just want to click Next and then once you get to this screen, you’ll want to click Next as well, and it pretty much bring you to the posting screen now, of course, you want to add some type of caption. It doesn’t have to be complex. Don’t overthink it so it could be something like new single out now stream it on all platforms, something like that you can be as creative as you want to be.

You can use hashtags on tik-tok, so very similar to Instagram and Twitter. Tick saw also uses hashtags to categorize your content to help spread it out. You can use genres, other artist names or I would recommend going to the the Explorer feed of tick, tock and kind of stealing hashtags from those posts and using it there, and you also want to leave the article public. You want people to be able to see it unless, for some reason, I guess you do something weird with it.

You don’t want people to see it for the most part, you’ll just want to leave the article public. So once you have this situated you’ll just want to post a article and it does take a while for the article to go up, but once you have a situation we’ll move on to the next step. So now we have our post. What you want to do? Next is to click on the post and, as you can see, and that bottom of the screen, the bottom left, you see the music icon.

That is pretty much the sound. So you see it says original sound Cory. So whenever you make a article on tick-tock or you upload something, it’s always an original sound, that’s attributed to you now. What you’ll want to do next is you’ll want to click on the sound, and it will bring you to this page right here now. This page is what everyone sees whenever they click on a sound. It pretty much shows what was the original article so going back to it’ll be linked to your page.

This is what I meant and you’ll just want to come up here to the top and click Edit. Now, if you’re, a tick-tock page is your artist name, then you don’t need to put your artist name in the title. So if my was called Drake, if I was Drake, then I could just put the song how about now and very similar to the sound. It would be how about now my ad named Corey, but if your ad name isn’t your artist name.

That says something unique. Like how Drake’s Instagram name is champagne poppy, then you will want to put your name in this, so it would be something like this so Drake how about now – and you can’t use dashes in the title, so you can’t have it dashed out so you’ll have to Pretty much leave a space out so Drake. How bout now put your title and then click confirm, and it does take a second, so I’m going to close out tick tock and come back into it just to show you guys what’s up so now that it’s kind of taking a second to update ourselves.

If you come back to it, you can see in the bottom left now. It says how about now Drake how about now and as you can see right there, like, I said if your artists name is your profile, you don’t need to put it in there, but like I’m, not Drake, so it has to be in there. So this is pretty much the best way to upload a high quality audio of your song tik-tok. The only downside to this, as opposed to having your distributor do it is.

It doesn’t link directly to your Apple music, which, yes, there is kind of a problem, but I personally feel like if the song is good and you’re really pushing it and you’re really promoting it and people like it, they will go, find it they’re not going to. Let the fact it isn’t linked directly to it to Apple music, stop them from being able to find your song. Now earlier I did say that there’s another method that you can do if, for whatever reason you don’t have some type of article editing software and that’s pretty much if you go back to the the plus button, where you can make a article, what you could do Is you could record a article with the song playing in the background? Like I said it will give it a very low quality sound, but it is something you can do and then pretty much follow the exact steps, as mentioned before and that’ll get you set up.

That’ll give you the ability to still create the song and rename it whatever you want it to be so there we have it guys like. I said that is the DIY version of putting your song on tik-tok. If, for whatever your reason, your distributor is not letting you so get creative with your promotional articles because there will be public, people will be seeing it on your page as you use it, because I’m going to assume that you’ll be actively using your tik-tok page.

So make something brand, that’s know congruent to your brand, something that’s compelling, make sure you get the catchiest part or the best part of your song on there and yeah go ahead and get yourselves Leon, tick tock! So there’s guys that’s pretty much. How you will put your music on the platform now, like I said before this article is the first in a series of articles from the brand men Network detailing how you can best use to talk to help you out.

If you would like to check that out, I make sure to put the link to that in the description below now. As always guys, if you feel like you, learn anything today, please like and share this article hit those post notifications as well. Is I wouldn’t want you guys to miss anything once again, my name is Cory and I’ll see y’all next time.

Web Fonts – The State of the Web

”, My guest is Dave. Crossland He’s the program manager For Google Fonts And today we’re Going to be talking about the state of web fonts –, what are they, how to use them? Effectively and what’s new, Let’s get started, [ MUSIC PLAYING ], So Dave. Thank you. For being here, My first question is: About why web fonts, What do they bring to a website? Beyond the standard fonts like Helvetica DAVE, CROSSLAND Well, Web fonts really express a certain kind of Feeling for organizations They express a brand And you can have a web Page without a article, but you can’t have a Web page without text You have to have fonts And so a brand at its core Would be like a logo, a color and a typeface or a font, And so web fonts bring The kind of rich design that we have in print Media to the web, RICK VISCOMI And according To the HTTP Archive nearly one third of Websites use a font from the Google Fonts API, So why are developers turning To the Google Fonts API DAVE CROSSLAND, I would say That Google Fonts is fast, easy and free And so on.

Our Analytics page we’ve clocked up over 22 trillion. Font views in total since the service Launched in 2010 – And I think that being on Google’s content, distribution networks, we benefit From cross-site caching, So when you visit the First website that uses a font like Roboto, it’s downloaded and you may see Some latency there, But then on all Subsequent websites, which use the font From Google Fonts, then it’s in a cache And loads instantly across the different websites, We also try and Make it really easy So the font’s API Abstracts, a lot of the complexities of web Font technology from you, So we serve different formats.

To different browsers, For example, with better Compression formats, like WOFF2, only the newer Browsers support those, And so we serve WOFF2 files. To those newer browsers And we serve other Formats to older browsers And then finally We make things free and we have a directory of Hundreds of choices which everybody can choose from Now, of course, if you Want a particular typeface, then it may not be Available in Google Fonts and you would go and license That font for your usage, But not everybody, has the Sophistication in design or the resources To license fonts And I think it’s important That everyone in the world is able to do typography, RICK VISCOMI, So I don’t Know if developers truly appreciate how complicated Web fonts are under the hood.

I got a taste of this when I Was at YouTube a few years ago, I helped change the Default font to Roboto, and it was not as easy as just Changing the font-family CSS style, There’s a lot you need to do to Make sure that it goes smoothly for the users and they Have a good experience, For example, like YouTube users, Are from all around the world, They have different languages. Different alphabets, What are some of the Things that developers need to be concerned about For an international audience, DAVE CROSSLAND International Users face a challenge because the file sizes Of fonts, for them can be larger than just For European languages Traditionally Google Fonts has done a kind of slicing of Fonts into language or writing system sets, So we might have, for example, Latin Latin Extended Cyrillic Cyrillic Extended Greek Greek, Extended and Vietnamese: That’s your current support for Roboto that’s used on YouTube.

We also support Other languages — Hebrew, Arabic, Thai, Many different Indian writing systems And the biggest Challenge has been for Chinese Japanese And Korean fonts, A typical font for Indian languages can maybe be two or three times Larger than a European font, But for East Asia it can Be a hundred times bigger And so we’ve been able to Use a number of technologies, for example WOFF2 Compression which is now a W3C standard this year, And also the @ font-face Css has a new aspect called unicode-range.

Unicode-Range allows us to Slice, the fonts into pieces, dynamically And the browser will Only download the pieces that it needs, So that means that We were able to slice a Chinese, Japanese or Korean Font into over a hundred slices And therefore the Latency of each slice is similar to your European font, This means that the experience Latency is much better And because the Slices are cached across different Domains then the font gets faster and faster To load over time, RICK VISCOMI Custom fonts have Also been used for icon fonts to show images And more recently, they’ve Been used for emoji as well, So we’re moving beyond just Text and on to these other ways that we’re using to communicate, But it’s not without its Own challenges, right, DAVE, CROSSLAND, That’s right! Font technologies are always Improving and evolving And the use of emoji as a kind Of special case of icon fonts is particularly interesting.

I think that there’s a Debate in the web development community about how To best approach this Using images for icons, whether That’s PNG or SVG vector images is –. There are some advantages there. One of the advantages To using icon fonts is that aligning icons with Text in labels is often is a common use case And getting the alignment Onto the baseline of text can be tricky when You’re dealing with two elements: — a text Element and a image element And so icon fonts can Play a good role there.

They also have good legacy. Support because obviously text systems work everywhere. Unfortunately, for Emoji and color fonts that’s a little bit. More complicated because there are Different color formats for different platforms, And so one font file needs To have a lot of data to support all of the Platforms at once And they can look different On different platforms, So yeah emoji as web fonts Is still I think, kind of — is a cutting-edge thing, But it can add.

Consistency – and I hope we see more developments – Of that in the future RICK VISCOMI And going Back to the Roboto at YouTube example: one Of the things I remembered that was kind of tricky Was when we would have font-weight bold in our styles, That would default to Weight 700 by the browser, But our designers decided that It looked best as weight 500, So we actually had to go back. And change all of our styles from font-weight, bold To font-weight 500 And it became kind Of a new way that we had to ingrain into Our style development, But there’s something new.

That’s Coming out called variable fonts, How would they help Address the situation, DAVE, CROSSLAND, Yeah Variable fonts can help a lot. It’s a very exciting. New technology, It’s part of the Opentype standard, which is the font format that that’s Widely supported in pretty much all platforms today And variations allows you To do runtime interpolation between different sort of styles, Or faces within a font family, So traditionally you would Have like a thin weight, a regular weight, a bold Weight and extra bold weight And in CSS you’ve only Had up to nine weights — 100 through 900 With variations, then you are Able to specify weight, 154 and dial in a very specific And dynamic weight You can animate these weight.

Changes using CSS animations And in CSS4 there’s more Direct support for this RICK VISCOMI So does that Mean that every font is now going to be able to be Completely customizable, Or are only a few fonts going To be eligible for this DAVE CROSSLAND Well, it is something that font developers Need to add to fonts, And so in that Way it breaks down the traditional wall between the Font maker and the font user And so variable Fonts create a kind of dialogue between the two, So as a font user, you Can customize the font, but only in ways which the Font maker has provided for, And so that means that you don’t Need to become a type designer yourself, but it means that you Have that flexibility that you didn’t have before And the variations are Not only for font weight, There’s, also font width, There’s slanting And there’s also optical size, And those are all part of The OpenType standard today Optical sizing, means that When you change your font size from 10 point to 70 Point then, the letter forms will actually react and Respond to that change, And so, as your font Size gets larger.

The letter forms will Become more elegant And as it gets smaller They can become more legible, more readable And there’s also all other kinds. Of variations, you can imagine, which aren’t part Of the standard and are specific to each font, Things like rounding and many creative options. Google Fonts is commissioned. To sort of experimental trial fonts from type designer David Berlow at Type Network.

The first is Decovar, which Has a lot of variations which are decorative so rounding Different kinds of serifs different kinds of Stroke patterns And this can be used as a Kind of graphical device, Because variations Can be animated, I think there’s a lot. Of potential there, The other typeface is Amstelvar And Amstelvar is A text typeface and it has a set Of parametric axes which go far beyond Just weight and width and into things like The ascender length descender length and A lot of variations which can be used together, To create more readable text, RICK VISCOMI, I’m Especially interested about variable fonts, We’re going to have to Have you back on the show once they’re a little Bit more established, Then we can talk about The state of them, But where could Developers go if they want to learn more about Any of these technologies DAVE CROSSLAND Microsoft Edge has on their developer site a Really good variable, fonts demo site That’s a great place to learn.

More about variable fonts, There’s also the Design.Google.Com/Fonts articles website, where the Google Fonts team publishes articles about type and Typography in collaboration with the Google Design team And then there’s Also material.Io, where you can get the Material Design, icons, font and learn more about Material Design guidelines, RICK VISCOMI, Well, there you go, The links are in The description so go check them out.

Seo -How to rank youtube on first page of google-.Youtube- in minutes in hindi 360°

It I’ll also show you the results of a real-life case study that might surprise you keep reading a while back, I published a post in my blog called how to get high quality backlinks without guest posting, and, like all of my blog posts, I made sure to Optimize this post around a keyword in this case the keyword was high quality, backlinks sure enough, thanks to the white hat links that I built to that post, it quickly hit the first page for that keyword, but here’s where things got weird one day I was checking My google rankings and I saw something that made me almost fall out of my seat.

Not only was I ranking for high quality backlinks, but I also ranked on the first page for the keyword how to get high say what. Needless to say, my post had nothing to do with getting high, but then I realized why Google ranked me for that keyword. It’s because I had the keyword how to get high in my content, but here’s where things got really interesting. Most people that came to my site from Google spent nearly 3 minutes on my site, but for this page the average is only 1 minute and 12 seconds less than half of my site wide average.

So, what’s going on here when people search for how to get high and clicked on my result, they quickly realize that I wasn’t going to teach them how to make their own breaking bad style meth-lab. So they quickly hit their back button and left just told Google. In black and white people searching for how to get high hate, this page in Google took action. A few weeks later, my page dropped like a stone for the keyword how to get hot.

It literally went from number 6 to 12 to 21 to 33. In a matter of days, but check this out, my ranking for the keyword high quality backlinks didn’t drop in. They continue to climb. Why? Because people searching for high quality backlinks stuck to my site like superglue? How do I know after my rankings for how to get high dropped the overall bounce rate and time on page, for my article significantly improved now in a minute I’ll show you how you can easily keep Google searchers on your site longer, but for now I want To show you where things stand today today, my page ranks number one in google for the keyword, high quality backlinks and for the keyword how to get high, I’m nowhere to be found.

That’s the power of this new ranking factor. So, what’s the takeaway lesson from this story, even though backlinks continue to be the cornerstone of Google’s algorithm, it’s clear that user experience signals influence, search engine rankings today, I’m about to show you three practical ways that you can take advantage of these user experience signals, including My favorite, the a PP formula, but first I want to tell you another quick story to show you just how important user experience signals are.

Today. A few years back tech writer Steven Levy wrote an insider account of Google called in the Plex. In that book. Steven stays on the most basic level. Google could see how satisfied users were the best sign of their happiness was the long click, in other words, when people click on your site in Google and stick around. It sends a very strong message that your page makes searchers happy, but when people quickly leave your site like they’re on a pogo, stick, it tells Google the opposite.

It shows them that your page isn’t a good fit for that keyword. The question is: how can you get people to stick to your site so that Google sees you as the best result for that keyword? The answer the three insanely actionable techniques that I’m going to show you right now. First up we have bucket brigades. Before I got into SEO, I used to work as a freelance copywriter, and I had a problem. A lot of my clients would hire me to write these crazy long.

Six thousand word sales letters. You know those sales pages that are like 25 pages long and you have to keep scrolling and scrolling to get to the end. I wrote those all the time. The problem I had was this: it’s really hard to keep people on a page. That’s 6,000 words long people don’t have the attention and to skim that much content. Nevermind read it and I tried every trick in the book to keep people’s attention.

I tried images. I tried articles, I tried storytelling, I tried everything but the sales letters just weren’t compelling enough to keep people from hitting their back button and then one day I had a breakthrough. I discovered a little-known technique called bucket brigades that copywriters have been using for decades, and these bucket brigades instantly made my content much more compelling. So what are they bucket? Brigades are words and phrases that keep people on your page.

Specifically, they make your visitors want to keep reading. For example, I have a post on my site called how to boost conversions by five hundred and twenty nine percent, and the average time on page for the article is almost four minutes and a good chunk of that. Above average time on page is due to bucket brigades like this, and this and this when you see one of those bucket brigades, it opens up a little information gap in your mind and you can’t help but read the next sentence: bottom line.

Whenever you have a place in your content, where people might get bored and hit the back button, add a bucket brigade here are a few other bucket brigades that you can include in your content once you’ve added two bucket brigades to your content. It’s time for strategy number two benefit driven subheadings. Let me ask you something which of these two posts. Would you rather read if you’re like most people, you prefer the one on the left.

Why? Because the content on the left is broken up with subheadings. In my experience, subheadings are huge. You can never use enough of them. For example, my post 17 insanely actionable list building strategies has an average time on page of over five minutes. The number one reason because the post contains lots and lots of subheadings, but not just any subheadings, benefit driven subheadings I’ll explain.

Most people use random subheadings like this sure that does break your content up into easy-to-read chunks, but random, sub headers, like that won’t grab your readers attention and make them say to themselves wow, there’s a ton of value here. Fortunately, this is a quick fix for that include benefits in your subheaders, for example, and my list-building post I use benefit rich copy in almost every subheading.

Instead of a bland subheading, like focus on your thank-you page, I put the benefit front and center ok, so I saved the best for last that a PP formula, here’s the truth! When someone visits your page from Google, you have two seconds to convince them to stick around, not ten, not five, two, and if you lose them in those two seconds, you lose them for good. But if you hit your visitor off with something amazing right off the bat they’re, much more likely to stick around and, as you saw earlier in this article, this boost in time on page can be huge for your Google rankings and whenever I need to improve the Time on page, for one of my articles, I turn to the a PP formula.

So what is it? The a PP formula is a proven content. Introduction framework. That’s designed to do one thing: keep Google visitors on your page longer, here’s what the a PP formula looks like, as you can see, a P P stands for, agree, promise and preview. Now I’m going to break each of these three elements down and show you a real-life example of how I use the a PP formula to keep Google searchers on my page.

First up, we have agree. You want to start your intro off with an idea or concept that someone searching for your keyword will agree with. This shows that you understand their problem and when someone sees that you understand them and their problems they’re much more likely to stick around. For example, a while back, I published a blog post that show people how to create a high converting squeeze page.

Here’s the intro from that post see how I say I think you’ll agree with me when I say it’s really hard to convert ice-cold traffic into email. Subscribers, that’s something that anyone trying to build an email list can relate to now that you’ve got them nodding their head in agreement. It’s time for the promise. The promise is where you give your reader a peek into a better world. Here’s an example from my squeeze page post.

Most people think that you need to run hundreds of Av tests to get more email signups, but my promise shows that there is an easier way finally hit them with the pre. You there’s no need to beat around the bush here. Your preview just need to tell your reader exactly what you have in store for them. For example, here’s the preview from my social squeeze page post, and once you put the finishing touches on your preview you’re set.

You now have an introduction that keeps Google searchers on your site and a page that Google will want to show to more people. If you liked this article make sure to subscribe to my youtube blog right now, just click on the subscribe button, also, if you want exclusive SEO and traffic techniques that it only share with subscribers head over to backlinko, comm and sign up for the newsletter, it’s free.

Now I want to turn it over to you, which is the three strategies from this article. Are you going to use? First, are you pumped to try bucket brigade, or maybe you want to give the ATP formula a shot? Let me know by leaving a comment right now again, which I’m not saying it right. In fact, oh didn’t drop it’s two to two crazy, not 10, not to understand what I said there was that too fast

Q&A #1| My Job, Family, Blogging and MORE!| JUST KATLEHO| SOUTH AFRICAN BLOGGER

So if you would like to see what I am going to be answering to some of the questions that you gave me, then please you know what to do keep reading. So I pretty much have who I keep looking in the viewfinder, I’m so not used to having red lips on when I record ourselves looking weird, so I don’t want those questions and answers article to be too long.

So I’m only going to be on seeing about three or four questions, but at the end of each and every question is what are you saying at the end of each and every questions and answers article? You are more than welcome to put down below another question if you do have a burning question that you’d like me to answer, put it down below, and they will do them in the next questions and answers article session thing: okay, I can’t speak today alright, anyway, Getting into it, these are some of the questions that I have received off of youtube as well as on Instagram.

I actually did a insta story where I was talking about I’m going to do it through an a and some people put in some questions and I’m going to hunt something right about now. So shall we get started, let’s get started, so no Caius is no kaya. Heinrich I have because I know you she’s always on their lives. So no kaya says: what have you learned in the beginning stages of 30 that you wished you you in your twenties, so basic lean and in the beginning stages of my actually, I do have a blog post that I did with regards to what I’ve done since Turning 30 I’ll link that down below, but one of the most important things is, you don’t have to do what everybody else is doing.

I’m extremely different to a lot of my friends and the people that I surround myself with. I was all about pleasing other people. Such a people pleaser wanting to do things for others very, very pressurised into impressing others, and things like that. Once I got to 30, I realized that no, no! No! No! No! No! These! It’s about impressing me! It’s about making sure that I am happy with whatever I choose to do and how I want to do it.

It’s not about impressing other people. I do not care for that. Any more also. Another very important thing that I also learned is to just be easy. On yourself a lot of the times in my 20s, I used to put so much pressure on myself just to do everything right and to get it right and to do it all the time which now I realize that you know what it’s okay, it’s! Okay, to! Take a minute sometimes I need to take time to myself.

Sometimes I don’t have to push myself as much as I would have in my 20s there’s quite a few things that I’ve learned. If you would like to see a article on that, then I really don’t mind doing one for you. I would like you to just let me know down below alright and then I have a question by inor underscore what you know asks. One question I would like you to answer is how many siblings do you have, and would you maybe make a sibling tag by any chance? Well, I have my sister who you guys have seen on the just that little blog, but also beautycon a say, but all together, there’s six of us, so there’s three boys and these three girls.

Of course, I would love to do a sibling tag, probably with my sister or, if not, I would do it with my older brother because could do it with my older brother. I could definitely do that, but yeah yeah there’s six of us at home three boys. Three girls: the next question is from Anthony and the score him. I think ma says you look like a very bubbly person. What gets you going in the morning and what inspired you to start a YouTube blog and why BT? Okay, first question is: what gets you going in the morning honestly, I’m naturally a morning person, my friends hate it.

My friend I’ve got a friend who C she hates it because normally in the morning, what I’m going to work or not I’m up at 6:00 and I’m up and about doing things. I really don’t know what gets me going in the morning, I’m just up in the morning and I’m normally very, very bubbly in the morning and then come nighttime. I just normally like that. Naturally, I’ve always been a morning person, my sister hates it, because I always bother her in the morning – is that the second part of her question is what inspired you to start a YouTube, blog and ypg.

To be honest, and I’ve always wanted to do a YouTube. Blog I’ve always always wanted to do it, but I was so overcome with shyness and oh, what do people think or what would my family think? Well, my friends think what, if people that were kind of discovered that I have a youtube blog, what am I going to do? Is it going to impact me, but I’ve been reading youtubers for years now overseas, and I thought you know I could do this, but one of the biggest things was that I felt like.

I was too bold to do a YouTube blog. I was like. I should have thought about this when I was 22. I should have thought about this. One was 21 or something like that. But then I thought no you’re, never too old to do a YouTube. Blog you’re, never too old to frickin. Do anything so, at the end of the day I was like you know what i’ma do it anyway, girl i’ma do it anyway. I love beauty. I find beauty in everything.

I draw beauty from everything, so that’s what I decided to do even besides, before my youtube, blog was my blog and my brother was always about PT anyway. So for me, that’s probably why I decided to pick this particular social media platform. You know the next question is from Janelle from shear, and this body on Instagram didn’t have paint in your girl. Do you know it’s like a babe? Please talk about how you two all sources of inspiration for your blog, your blog working.

All that I often feel overwhelmed and when I have too much going on and I just wonder how you managed to do it all so well, listen girl. I don’t sleep, I don’t know. The only thing that I can honestly say is that I draw inspiration from everything around me. I draw inspiration from clothes from makeup from traveling from everything that’s around me and I find the time to do it. Why do I find the time to do it? Because I really love to do it, it’s one of my favorite things to do and honestly it’s therapeutic.

I know that see who, in his article on my blog mentioned, that doing YouTube is very therapeutic. For me: YouTube blog work, Instagram. Anything that is is is something that I draw a lot of inspiration from. I love to do it, so I don’t mind it’s not like a job for me, it’s not a job for me. It’s actually something I really enjoy doing it. I make time for it because I know how it makes me feel when I do it, I feel a lot happier.

I feel a lot more inspired. I really want to get on with it because it’s fun for me. I never feel like it’s a chore once I, if I ever get to that point, I’m going to be very worried because once I feel like it’s a troll chances, I’m not going to want to do anymore. So for now, honestly, it’s all I’ve ever wanted to do. I really enjoy it out of my doing okay and then I got asked by me, Russia, if I’m not mistaken what industry I’m you know, what do I do? Basically, I’m in the construction and engineering industry can you believe it with all this makeup? Basically, that’s all I’m going to say I mean the construction and engineering industry you choose to fill in the blanks.

The final question is also from in Russian and somebody else who asked me on YouTube as well. Would I ever do a house tour, so I can. I assume that you guys have seen bits and pieces of our home me and my sister what I ever to a house tour. Unfortunately, not the reason why I say that I mean you see them in the you see the house put some pieces of the house in the vlog. I understand that, but for me to actually sit and do a house tour we’re walking throughout my at the house.

I just feel like it’s a little bit of an invasion of privacy like showing you my furniture and where it’s from and well, but this that’s really not me. The only way you’re going to be able to see it is through put some pieces in the vlog. You might see in the kitchen Metz in the bedroom, but when I’m physically walking you through the house is not something that I think I’ll guarantee a home for me is a sanctuary and I’ll not be in my home, and I you know I can give you Sleep peaks here and there, but a full-on house tour, is something I don’t think I’ll ever really do, and I hope you guys understand that.

But yeah there is the loss of the questions from the questions and answers article. If you would like no more answers to burning questions, please let me know down below really don’t mind, we’ll do it for you. It is a thing I love in that. I will see you guys in the next article if you’re wondering what’s on my lips, it’s the Maybelline, it’s in the article of the vlog that I did the last article that I did this is the Maybelline super stay Inc.

I think the red one. I don’t know what what it’s called, but maybe I’ll put it here some way, but the red one. Okay, let me go now until the next article live, enlighten, love and I’ll, see you very soon.

Passive Income Is Just a Myth

He was right and I feel like I was arguing just for the sake of arguing cuz, that’s what everyone does, but before I explain like further with any of this, don’t forget to leave a comment down below. Let me know what you think: passive income means to you and definitely subscribe to this blog and don’t forget to I’m leaving giving you a lot of things to do right now and don’t forget to like the article.

So that’s like subscribe and leave a comment. What you think passive income means – and let me just explain to you what I think it means well passive income to me – means making money without having to put or not without having to do work. Okay, now that doesn’t mean making money without having to penny F. In it means making money without having to do any work. Okay, there’s a big difference. There huge difference, one making money without having to do anything, no effort, no work; well, that’s like winning the lottery and even then you’ve got to go, buy a lottery ticket.

That’s like that’s, like someone just coming up to you and just giving you money, okay, that is making money without any work, any effort and nothing that doesn’t really exist unless you have like a really rich father or like something like that going on. But who does so passive income means doing something in the now that will make you money in the long run? Okay, so that could be me creating a book alright.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vPfX0cuMKNg

So you can spend hours and hours and hours making a book writing a book, and then you could publish that book and sell it. That book will hopefully make you money for years and years and years, even though you are not working on anymore. So the cool thing about passive income is passive income. Your hourly rate goes up every single day, okay, so let’s change it up a bit. Let’s say you make a course like we’ve made our amazon course right.

We make our amazon course and what s is a bit different though, but we make amazon course and then we now sell an online course. So, every day that was saying cause the time it took us to make the cause is becoming more and more valuable. Okay, so if it took us a month to make the course and we’ve made – let’s say a thousand pounds or ten thousand pounds from the course, the more we make the more power we are getting for that initial month of work now the reason the course isn’t, The best example is because we do a lot of work with the course even now, so it’s not really passing because we speak to students.

We try to help people with their businesses. We’ve run, we run a the mastermind page. We do webinars, we do. Q & A so we’re constantly doing stuff for our students, so that’s not really a passive income. What is a good example of a passive income? Is a book or or song right. You write the song, you call the song, you let the album go and you get what is it: rights, music rights, royalties? That’s what they’re called loyalty you’ll get royalties for a very, very long time.

So when someone says oh yeah, I’m all into this passive income business – and I don’t have to do any work – I don’t have to do anything. I don’t have to do anything. It’s brilliant. You should do what I’m doing. That’s complete bull, crap, okay, is rubbish. They have spent a hell of a lot of time on the initial set up initial amount of work. Okay, for example. When people tell me I don’t have to do anything, I just make money now I don’t have to do work and it’s amazing.

It’s just it’s such rubbish, I mean I can show you spreadsheets work planning just stuff that I have to do every single day for work right and now I’m not saying what I do is possible, not possible. I think what I do is an aspect of passive income because, for example, I’m making this article now right. However, I’m making money on a completely different venture, a complete different business, and that’s because I’ve set that business up to make money without me having to continuously work for it.

That is why me and Josh can travel Josh and I can travel when an English isn’t. My strong point, that is why we can take a week off work and go and travel go to the country or do whatever and still make money that week, because we have set the business up specially with Amazon that my Amazon work mainly consists of sending a Message to my supplier, when I need new stock, and that is about it every so often we have to read our ranks and try and get out the rank, trying it try and sort that out or find your product, but that can all be handle.

If you hire someone so also in the process of hiring someone, so when we hire someone who’s going to be able to handle all of that stuff, we will literally be able to take a complete backseat on our Amazon business and then, in my mind, that will Become completely passive because it had the initial set up the initial work, which was hell and then it’s now become passive. So that’s what I try to teach.

That is what I try to instill on everyone that you should try and create businesses. Now that will make you money in the long term, so try and create passive incomes. They won’t be passive straightaway because you’ll have to a ton of work to get them to become passive, but as soon as you’ve done the whole initial setup and you are making constant money from it, you can take a back seat on the whole business, and that Is when it becomes a passive income? That is when you can sit someone? Yes, I’m earning money right now and I’m lying in bed right.

That is when it becomes passive income where you’re not working per hour, but the thing to understand is with passive income. You also, firstly, there’s no guarantee they’re going to make any money, and, secondly, the initial work to create that passive income won’t necessarily make you money, for example, the whole Amazon setup that isn’t making you any money the whole creating the course that isn’t making you any Money so there’s a lot of, I think, willpower and a motivation that is needed to create a business that is passive because you can spend months and months working on a project like a book.

You can spend months and months working on that book, not knowing if it’s going to make you any money or how much money is going to make you so there’s a lot of initial work that doesn’t make you any money on the hopes and dreams that, in The long term, it will make you a lot of money which will then become passive, so passive income is brilliant, but it is a huge risk because you’re, not you, can’t ever be a hundred percent sure how much you’re going to make and if you’re going to Be anything whereas if you have a nine-to-five job, you get paid every single hour, you are working at that job.

Obviously you get holidays and all that sort of stuff, but forget about that. The only difference is who do you want to be? You know, and that’s what you can. Let me know in the comments who do you want to be? Do you want to be the risk-taker that will put in all this crazy amount of work to hopefully have a business that will work for itself or do you want to work and get paid for every hour you work and when you eventually stop working, that is It I mean you might have a pension or you might have stocks and shares or whatever you might have, but realistically that is it.

That is your money that you are now stopping being paid because you’re stopped working. What would you, what do you want to do when you’re 65 70? 80? What do you want to do? Let me know in the comments – and I hope that made sense. It may not have made sense to me. It kind of made sense, but I just was trying to define passive income. So if we’re just just recap what I just said, passive income, I think, is where you have to have a lot of initial set up work that doesn’t actually get you paid.

Anything on the hopes and on the planning, obviously, on the under the long term, you will start to make money without you even having to do anything because of the initial set up. That is what passive income is to me, and I hope that made sense. Don’t forget to subscribe, don’t forget to like this article if you did like it probably really confusing, but I don’t know and and yep see you in tomorrow’s article
