We went over how to create your first successful ad we going over audiences targeting we went over reporting, optimization and you know what to do.
After you know the numbers – and this is the last article – so if you guys have not readed any of those articles, I highly recommend that you go back and read those, but for today’s article I’m going to show you real, quick how to pause, cancel and delete Any of the ads that you have running okay, so we are in our Facebook Ads manager. I created a kind of a dummy ad here, so the first way is super easy.
If you have one add in one ad set in one campaign, then you can easily shut off all of your ads in that campaign by just clicking on this toggle here. So this is actually off right now you can see it’s inactive. If you toggle this over, this would make it active and it’s it’s actually. It didn’t even go live, so it’s in review. If it was active at one time, it would just say active, but this campaign has only one ad set and one ad right.
If you have multiple ads in that campaign, so say you had in this campaign. If you click on this check, box, it’ll have all of the ads in it. If you go to this right, so I only have one ad here, but if you have you know five ads in one ad set and one campaign, then it’s going to shut off all of those ads. If you do it from this campaigns. Tab right! If you want to go – and you have multiple ads in that campaign, then you can go here to the ad level and shut off the ad the ad level.
I highly recommend that you do the app instead of shutting off one full campaign. That’s the easiest way to do that right, so that is the easiest way to pause or cancel an act. If you want to cancel an ad set so say if your split-testing and you have multiple multiple ad sets ad set would be who you’re targeting it could be your budget and then, within that ad set, you might have multiple ads right, we’re just going to duplicate This so I can show you real, quick yeah, so this is what, though, that would kind of look like, so I have multiple ad sets and then each of these ad set has an ad right like unclick.
These I go to this. I have multiple hats because I have multiple ad sets right. So if I’m testing one handset against another asset, say your split testing, an image right, so your copies the same your headlines, the same, the landing page is the same. The only thing that is different is the image. You have two different images and you can see the results. We don’t over that in the last article, one ad is doing really really well.
The other ad is not. You want to cancel the ad. That is not doing well, and you know that you have one ad set and one ad all you need to do is go to that ad set and just toggle off here right and then, if you go to your ad, then you know, excuse me, love you, Unselect this you, then you know that these ads are off it’s confusing, because if you go here, you’ll see ok, these are on, but really one of these is off right.
So if you check this box and then go to your ad, you know that this campaign is off. So what I would do is I’ll just go and turn it off so that you know you’re not confused by any of the numbers. If you just click on because the problem is, if you click on this campaign – and you click on this – and you go straight to your ad, then it would show both of these as being on that, you don’t know really, which one is going right in this Case we now know, because this is toggled on this – is toggled off.
I would always recommend just going and clicking all of these, so that you know which is which is going on here right, so that’s kind of what you should do if you want to pause or cancel the ads that you have running now. If you want to delete and add what I recommend doing and how I teach creating Facebook ads is doing one hat per one ad set and I would just go and delete the ad set and that will in turn, delete the the ad itself.
So if you go here to the ad set that you want to cancel or delete you just click on this checkbox and then go and delete this and say yes, I want to delete that. You have to be really sure that you’re deleting that, because you can’t get that back right and then we deleted the ad as well. So if your, if you follow how I teach one AD per one ad set, then you can just delete the ad set that you don’t want running, really, there’s no reason to delete the ads unless you broke a lot of rules and violations of Facebook, and you Kind of want that expunged from your Facebook account.
That would be the only reason I can see the leading an ad would be beneficial. Otherwise you really just want to kind of keep that ad there so that you have the numbers and that you know. Okay, this split test. This is what one I really don’t want this. This picture really didn’t work, so I want that to be in there. So I know if I ever forget, I can come in here and say: okay, that picture didn’t really work.
I don’t want to use that one ever again right so guys. That is how you pause, cancel delete any of the ads that you have running. This is the open, L, carbon steel and it’s the number seven it’s made of beechwood and, of course, like I mentioned, the blade is carbon steel. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do a carbon steel blade or if I wanted to do a stainless steel, and I opted to get both this one. I got locally because it was available and this is the number seven and then I also recently got it still in the box, but I thought I’d show that as well.
I got this off of Amazon. This is a number eight and this is done in olive wood, so open that up just a little off camera here and I’ll show you the difference in size and the difference in wood. Here we go so this is the unit move that down and it’s done in a stainless steel blade and it’s done in olive wood, and this would be the number eight which is always labeled there on the rim. Now, on this little locking mechanism, it’s really interesting knife.
So if they didn’t have this locking mechanism, I’m just going to turn this back to Center this one’s a bit tight, then it would just be up-and-down, and originally the knives from opinel were like that they were just a nice piece of wood. You would open up the blade, I mean notice, I’m doing this with two hands, because this one’s quite stiff, this would be it. The blade would stay open when you’re pushing applying pressure on it.
Obviously it wouldn’t go back down, but there would be a chance that it could end up opening up in your pocket, and so I’m assuming just with that in mind and I believe around world war ii opinel invented this little lock ring. And this allows you to turn the ring right there, as I just did, which will lock the blade from opening and if you have it opened it will then lock the blade from closing and i’ve seen a lot of articles out.
There were people put in. Quite a lot of pressure downwards on this to try to force that – and this does a really good job. This locking locking does really a job. So here we can say the blade of the olive wood. It says in ox which I believe in French is translated to like na trustable in aqsa dibala. I may be wrong, so excuse my friendship. I honk it is a nice nice, somewhat shiny, blade. I’ve heard a few things about the the difference between the blades.
So I’m going to leave this open with the olive wood and I’ll open up the number seven besides a size. That’s why I wasn’t sure which blade to go with and or I wasn’t sure which steel to go with, and then this is the number seven. This one is the number eight. This is a standard model here. This is beech. Wood, like I said this is olive wood. The beech wood comes quite standard with the base models, and these are not.
These are quite reasonable. This one particular one, I believe, is about twelve dollars and maybe less on some stores cost me about twelve dollars plus tax. This one was closer to twenty, because the carbon steel requires a little bit more maintenance. Some people aren’t really fancy to it. The stainless steel doesn’t require it won’t rust, whereas the carbon steel could potentially rust. So there are a lot of youtubers that will put some form of acid on the blade to force a patina, and if you don’t do that as long as you like make sure that it’s not in a moist setting it’s it’s staying dry, then over time.
It will develop its own patina, which can be really nice. The other really nice thing about carbon steel and I readed another YouTube article and if I remember the name I’ll put it up in a little box at the top here. But they were talking about how they like their the the flat edge at the back. And I’m going to close the knife, so I can show you with the knife, closed and locked, there’s this flat edge here and you could use that.
Let me just make sure it’s in focus. You could use that against a striking pad of some sorts, a flint per se, to start a fire where it’s a stainless steel. You wouldn’t be able to do that, so that can be really nice if you were taking this out camping. I also, if I’m honest with you for EDC I’ve had these for about a week now, both of them I’ve carried the carbon. I got this one first, so this one less than a week, but but for the most part a week for both I’ve carried this one for a few days in my pocket and I’ve carried the number eight, this number seven fits perfectly in my pocket.
It disappears. I don’t notice it. I’ve used it to go down and open up some parcels that have arrived. I’ve taken it with me to open up other forms. I’ve had to cut some other things randomly, and this has been great. There have no problems with it. Like I said, it’s super lightweight disappears in the pocket now the number 8, though I think the number 8 fits my hand a little bit better. It’s just it’s almost the perfect size for the hand and the blade length is really nice with it.
It’s because they obviously take it and scale it up. The wood is quite the circumference of the wood is quite a lot bigger, and this means that there’s a bulge in the pocket. So I don’t. I don’t like this much as much in my pocket as I do like the the number 7, so you can see in my pocket. I don’t have these technically together in my pocket. I may have it with my lip job. There’s some burpees! That’s about half the size, so comparing it with the number 8, then I could take the number 8 out now I’ll.
Take this one out place it. You can see that it is much taller right, but it’s more the circumference! I don’t know if I can put these on top of the circumference of the knife is bigger. Now between the Steel’s, I’m really fancying the carbon steel. I like things a patina. I like the fact that it has a few other purposes that you could use it for, especially for EDC and for camping reasons, and I think I like the fact that the number 7 is a little easier to carrier carry.
I wish that the carbon steel was offered with different woods. That’s my wish. I really like this olive wood. I, like the walnut out there, there’s lots of different wood options. You can choose, but carbon steel is only offered from my understanding right now on opinel. It’s only offered on the beech wood and it’s a standard blade, which means it is the base model and then, of course, these things can go up as high as like few hundred dollars, depending on that not necessarily the type of stainless steel, but whether it’s polished And the type of wood you can get wood all the way from Africa, olive wood from the Mediterranean.
You can get oak dark oak lots of things. You can even get a blade. That’s black, like a black stainless steel blade. So those are those knives. My first impression is I like them. I think these things are great, like I said, really lightweight both of them. Obviously, the heavier models will go up. The wood mate depending up you won’t go with a stainless steel. Knee just ride, decide to change the wood.
The wood may be a little denser than other woods, but both of these woods are quite light. They fit really nice in the hands. I like them, locking mechanism when it’s locked the blades not going to go anywhere. I will say that the carbon steel came out of the box with a super-sharp and it’s it’s still ridiculously sharp and the seal is still not so much, and I’ve heard other viewers talk about that as well.
Like I said, these are very reasonably priced. Any of these would be fine. I’m heard lots of viewers that have had a stainless steel for years and then just decided hobby wise to go to carbon. I think I’m most likely going to stick with this more as an EDC. I may or might not keep this or may or just put in my camping kit or may even give it to a friend as a gift, because they’re quite reasonable.
If you have any questions about open all knives, I’m going to put some links for both of these in the descriptions below both of those links are where I purchased the knives. So you can follow those I’ll put something up, put a link for the actual website of opinel, so you can look through there. The knife I’d like to get is the gardener’s knife, which has a nice rounding handle on it, but the one thing that I would like to see it again as I’d like to see if it if it eventually came with a carbon blade from so I’m going To show you in the package that first came with this says Boy Scouts of Canada, and it looks like this is like a bench and leather, because it’s slowly fading.
I’ve used it for these last couple years. Camping and it’s been great, but it was a little whiter prior to me using it and if I take it out of its sheath and just move that to the side. This is the knife here, so it came with this original string there. It says Boy Scouts of Canada that it that is, and it ends up focusing. It’s got some brass, I believe, on the sides here, some brass rivets looks like it’s a stainless steel.
You can see some patina on the knife and a nice hole. It is quite heavy, especially after carrying the opinel knives. As far as the knife goes, we’ve got a knife section. This is going to be a longer knife than the open, L and I’ll try to lower that down. I don’t know much about knives to talk about like the belly and all that or the blade or the or where the edges is I’m just I’m new to all of this thumb things I was just doing some research to get a knife that would be to Replace this for weight reasons, but also to replace this, because it’s not holding an edge very well.
You can see it’s stainless steel made in China, so I don’t know if that’s talking about the quality of this, like I said it’s a boyscout blade, it does lock. The locking mechanism is down here. You can push on the locking mechanism and then it folds back in, and it also has a saw so I’ll – show you that so I was a little stiffer to get out. There’s your saw bottle opener and a flathead screwdriver.
In the end I have used the saw when I was boy scouting to do a couple fires and to chop down some specific kind of wood and again it locks as well. So you push would have to push the lock and then you could pull the back in and that’s it. I comes with a nice sheath there. It is in comparison to size to the open Elle’s. We can just put them on the ends there and you can see this is the biggest knife here.
That’s my knife collection. I wish I wouldn’t have got these if this would have held an edge to be honest with you just because the history also my grandpa’s knife somewhere. It’s a foldable knife like a Swiss Army knife, if I find it out I’ll do another article, but if anybody out there knows information on this type, if this was mass-produced or knows anything about the type of knife it is. I love.

For a long time, in the meantime, I’m most likely going to keep the seven I find that easier in the pocket, and I really like the carbon blade, there’s nothing wrong with the stainless steel blade.
It’s just that it requires obviously a bit more work here to sharpen it. I really like the wood, and I wanted to check out a number eight number eight. By the way, going back is probably the most popular size that’s been ever sold by opinel. It was considered just the perfect size for people’s hands. Number eight or number seven would be for smaller hands, but for a lot of this lightweight EDC carry in your pocket with less things.

Knives and daggers are awesome! Plain and simple, right? Let me say, I enjoy my dagger collection with a little music playing in the background.
Through of all of my planning spreads. I haven’t really been doing like playing with Me’s anymore, just because I get home from work, and I actually filled this in daily. That just really helps me. However, I did do a plan with me on this spread. This is kind of more filled and now but um if you’re interested in this spread and how I kind of just set my weeks up I’ll put it.
I think it goes there um in a card up for you guys, but anyway this is August 26th through the 1st of September. So this is my first week. This was kind of a fair themed week. However, it didn’t end up going to the State Fair, as some of you know that I’ve been following along on Instagram and Facebook, I post on Instagram and then it kind of just goes to Facebook I’ll put the link below. If you guys wan na, follow me there, but I have been having some stomach issues and problems with that kind of thing.
So you know I talked to about it with my mom cuz. That’s who’s going to go with and she’s like you know what, let’s just forego the State Fair this year, cuz basically go to the State Fair and you just like eat all the fried food, because it’s like epic and delicious, but she’s like I don’t want you Getting sick there and you know all that stuff, like sounds good and as you can see, I got sick there, which was great.
I actually stayed at home. That day I mean I worked from home, but I don’t want to work from home. I want to go into the office, but there are some times where I cannot, unfortunately, so anyway, I got a stitch fix this week, which was awesome. I actually have a stitch fix like literally downstairs right now, and I think I’m going to film that tomorrow, when I get home, I haven’t even opened up the box.
Yet it was my co-workers birthday this day or actually this day, and then it was also my one-year anniversary at work. So we celebrated. We went to noodles and company, so yeah, but that’s kinda. What happened? Oh and then I visited my grandparents and my brother came over for lunch with my mom all that good stuff lots of happy mail. I got lots of happy mail from the wild collab sale, which should be up by the time.
This is up so I’ll leave a card for you guys if you want to check that out, and then this is the next week. So this is typically in my area, I’m in Minnesota, so like all of our public schools for the most part start the day after Labor Day. So that’s kind of how I grew up, and so I did this one as kind of a school themed so Labor Day I had off so did a bunch of things. As you can see, I’ve got fun, migraines and all that fun stuff in here.
I’ve also been you guys, will notice over here, I’m tracking some stuff. I am tracking tons of how many I take per night and, let’s just say the medicine that they’re giving me currently isn’t working, so I have to supplement it with tums, which also isn’t working kind of it’s just a whole. It’s like a literal pain in the stomach yeah head with migraine two days in a row, so I had my green this day, which means I didn’t really do much and then another migraine here at work which really stunk I had a doctor’s appointment.
I had to contact some stuff for my vehicle. I went to Walgreens, I swear. I go to Walgreens like all the time yeah. I also got my auto glass repair and I had like a little chip in it. So I got that repaired. I had to schedule a surgery that I’ve already had so that’ll be up here in just a moment and then planned. Let’s see did some other fun things over here. Oh, I started reading mind hunter by the way, I’m done with mind hunter um, because I already readed both seasons.
I just like can’t stop. It was so good, so so fun. If you guys have any suggestions on Netflix. Let me know, but mine hunter was amazing and I loved it. So yeah I’ve got a bunch of happy mail. Over this weekend. Did some filming I set up my new planner from work. I clean my garage I feel like I’m, like always in flux of cleaning. My garage does anybody else have that I just feel like it’s never clean enough or picked up enough.
I don’t know whatever, and then I went out to a brunch with Jodi and Ryan. Jodi is from life’s organized chaos and Ryan is from the man with the plans. I will leave their article or their blog links down below go check them out. After that I did a little retail therapy shopping. I went HomeGoods. I went to the diner location, Eden, Prairie and no load mall. I just really needed some art, so I was looking for some wall art and I did find a bunch of things.
So I know I’ve been talking about for a long time at doing an updated house tour and I’m going to do that someday. I just don’t know when anyway and then yeah I did my meal prep and, like I usually do on Sundays, and then I also made my grocery list as well, and then we get into the 9th through the 15th and as you can see, I can just Notice right up ahead, migraines yeah, I worked from home this day.
I had chest pain. My chest pain is attributed to some results that I’ll talk about in just a moment. So I did work from home. That day I did go out with some friends. We just went and grabbed some dinner got a bunch of happy mail went to dinner at my parents, house hung a bunch of art and then I cleaned the garage again like. I can’t stop cleaning the garage apparently targets. I ordered my costume for Halloween.
I know that’s like way far away, but I I’m going to be one of my co-workers for Halloween, so I was approving stuff with her to be like okay, would you buy this she’s like heck yeah like okay, perfect, just so anyways I’ll, probably end up posting A picture of it like on the 31st because we’re going to be working on the 31st and we’re going to be doing some fun things in the office that day so I’ll have somebody take a picture of me in the outfit and then Saturday, Sunday didn’t really Do too much organized some of my paperwork, which was nice to do purged, a bunch of paperwork which was awesome? I ordered a quilt online.
I actually just got the shipping notification today so to take awhile, there was a citywide garage sale so like the whole. Neighborhood was just like a flutter with things and then I just paid a bunch of bills and then we get to with a sixteenth through the 22nd. So this is where the first, I don’t know, they call it a surgery, but just cuz. They like put you under, but it’s more of like a procedure.
I had an endoscopy which basically means that they put you to sleep and they put a tube down your throat as well as a camera and see what the hell’s go going on. So what happened? Was it took a bunch of biopsies? Everything came back pretty normal or as they expected it to come back, but I also have a hiatal hernia, which that just means that there is part of my stomach. That’s creeping up into like places.
It shouldn’t. Be and pressing on my like chest, cavity wall kind of, and that’s why I feel that chest pressure and that chest pain quite frequently so, like my stomach, is going places it shouldn’t go basically, so I am in the midst of getting that fixed. I don’t have any updates of when that’s going to happen, but that is what they found out. So this was pretty whatever about normal a week. I guess and then in the morning I did work from home.
I didn’t have to go in until noon that day. So then, I just kind of wrote out on here all the things that I could do before I went in so I could have oatmeal at 6:00 a.M. Or by 6:00 a.M. I had to stop all clear liquids by 10:00 a.M. And then at 10:00 a.M. They wanted me to drink 12 to 20 ounces of Gatorade and then be done with it by 10:00, so yeah and then a hiatal hernia, that’s what they found out.
So my mom stayed over that night and then she left about noon the next day. Um you know cuz. I had to have a responsible adult with me um. I did work from home this day because I couldn’t drive for 24 hours after being put under, but we did a ticket giveaway at work and it was also national pepperoni pizza day, so they had pizza over there. So I just worked from home and then I was so tired. I took a nap so yeah and then Saturday you took another nap, but I was so tired, like the next day.
It wasn’t too bad in the morning, but man at like 24 hours afterwards. It’s just like like hit me, I don’t know um yeah and then I had a frog came in my house. That was exciting. It was really really stormy and rainy the whole weekend or likely it’s that morning and a frog decided to come and seek refuge inside of my house. So I was like oh nope you’re, going to go back outside little friends. Izumo anyway, move some boxes out to the garage for my brother.
I had another migraine. Yeah I feel like this is just like Emily’s medical history, yay, so yeah and then um you know, did a bunch of things. Added articles and brother came up to pick up. All of his stuff and then went out to dinner with my parents and brother that evening, and then we are into this week, which today is the 29th. So this week was me I mean I don’t know, there’s just so much going on, which is weird because I normally have like a very simple life, but I’ve got a lot of medical crap going on so Monday.
I actually stayed till 7 o’clock, which is why I have my nice little peanut butter, taco sticker. That says it so I was just trying to get this order out and it just took so long. I was just a pain and I but um I had to stop at Walgreens, because I had a medication change that I had to deal with and then the next day. Okay, so my brother drove to Iowa, like he actually lives in Iowa, so moved all of his stuff and then went to Iowa ID email.
My doctor, I got a flu shot and had to go to Walgreens again because they did more think it’s the whole thing. This medication wasn’t right so then they gave me a new medication. I had a migraine, unfortunately, and read this as us: oh so good you guys so that was fun and then regular work went to a meeting with some friends and my mom came over and walked the dog cuz. She was just over here and, let’s see, oh, my friend Kristin her birthday was on the 26th.
I worked from home. Actually, both of these days, I was planning on working from home this day, anyways, because I had a doctor’s appointment at 4:00 and it was just a pre-op, but we needed to talk about my hernia results and all of that stuff, so they said like hey. Can we give you a call if anything opens up in the day, and I said yeah – that’s not a problem, so I was going to plan on working from home here.
Unfortunately, again chest pain, same thing went to the grocery store later on that night, and I was reading some Netflix more migraine migraine good times, uh-huh Walgreens again and on that evening I did some laundry posted. My budget did some name tags for my upcoming high school reunion. That’s coming up, which is exciting. I did some cleaning yesterday, so I cleaned my entryway closet. My brother has had stuff in there for a year now so now that he’s moved he’s going to heat.
One to Iowa, I was able to revamp that a little bit, so I was able to clean it out declutter everything I actually decluttered a little bit in my closet too. So I have to UM like garbage bags full of stuff that I’m going to be taking a donation. Probably sometime this week I was planning on going to the grilled cheese, a festival in Minneapolis with Ryan from him with the plans. However, his plans changed and then earlier in the week we were texting and I’m like you know what I’m having so many issues with my stomach and digestion.
I just don’t think that’s a good thing and I can’t really be drinking alcohol with, like all the weird medications I’m on so and like the tickets, we hadn’t even purchased the tickets yeah, but the tickets came with like the booze and then like a tasting thing From the vendors and I was like yeah, it’s probably a better idea, just I cancel it and so he’s like. Okay, sorry, I just didn’t want to like leave you hanging, I’m like no, I think it’s best for everybody, so he actually ended up going out of town, which was great so anyway.
Today is Sunday. I paid a bunch of bills. I have oh, I still kind of have a migraine, but it’s better. Now Doyle has had diarrhea all day, which has been a very interesting. Thankfully he hasn’t messed in the house, but I don’t know what he got into, but I made him some rice and he’s on the mend, but yeah I’ve been trying to lay down and it’s just like, not working, and so I’m filming right now. But I’m going to be doing a little bit of meal prep later on and maybe about an hour or so so anyway.

I’m just going to walk you through the process. Here you go to google.Com, /, AdWords and click Sign In. If you haven’t created an account already, it’s really easy. You just enter your information and then confirm your email address. It’s free, so I don’t have any campaigns here.
I’m just setting this up here for the demo, but once you’re in your account, you would click on Tools, go down to keyword, planner and then you click on search for new keyword and AD group ideas, and then you could put in your product or service there And Google would find keywords related to that. So if we did bicycles, you can also write a comma and then type in another keyword. You can put your home page or you can choose a category from the list here, so you can pick whatever language you want.
Countries so you could add countries that also speak English, so, for example, England, or rather let’s do the United Kingdom – and this is going to give you the average monthly searches for the last 12 months once you’re done there. You just click on get ideas and the default tab here is going to be ad group ideas which is going to give you several key words for each of these keywords that on the left here, so you have cheap bicycles, folding, bicycle bicycle insurance and then you Get the average monthly searches and then the competition among advertisers for those words.
So if you click on the little bar graph, there you’ll get the monthly searches over the last year. You could also click on one of the keywords there and it’ll break it down. So there’s two things that we are going to go over in this article right here: one: should your music even be on tick-tock in the first place, because a lot of people are going to like hear the wave and follow the wave, because that’s what people love To do alright, they’re going to say yo music is popping on tick-tock.

You know there’s so many people, but everybody’s music doesn’t work into the tick-tock formula right, there’s a square and you might have a circle or vice versa, or whatever that’s saying is so we’re going to talk about how you can kind of identify that and then some Of our ladies into the second part, which is what is the tick-tock formula for your music, we’re going to talk about some of it just some of the sauce? Alright, so one to understand if your music works on chick talk first, you got ta kind of consider.
Why a lot of people were ignoring when I was saying before that she needed to get on musically right? I did articles back in like January or February of 2018, saying yo musically is that thing and a lot of people need to really really make more use of it and then in 2018 still, but in August of 2018, when they merged. I was still like yo brah y’all got to use this thing, but a huge part of why people couldn’t understand that it’s because tick tock has a younger user base than when we think about Instagram, because Instagram, I’m just going to say Instagram, because Instagram is it’s.
Like that main thing, it’s the main cool thing Twitter. It’s like something that everybody uses at this point, but they’re all in their own pockets. Youtube is just like TV, everybody uses it. You know I mean, then Facebook gets looked at as the old thing, but we look at tick-tock a lot of their like users were like 15 and below at the beginning, all right and now people are starting to get older and older, and now some of that Influence is also moving up into their big brothers and and just other people, as the word starts, to get out there yo.
This is a thing and, as other people start to experiment and bring their own types of fan, bases or interest groups on to the platform. So for a lot of people before, if you didn’t have music that cater to that fan base or that fan base was relevant to then you weren’t even looking at it, it wasn’t even relevant, but one that’s a bad way to look at things sometimes because sometimes All you need is that younger group to influence and get you popping and moving, and then you might find a fan base, that’s more relevant to you in terms of going out to your shows.
It can be used that way as well, but think about this, though, how relevant is it to your fan base or your type of people on there? And then we can look at Triller as an alternative, there’s tick tock, and then there is trailer. Trailer Aires is pretty much more hip-hop R & B based, and is it simple enough because there’s a lot of songs when we think about tick, tock and the ones that are moving most of them are relatively simple, not to say that you can’t be an outlier, But just know that you’re working against the formula at that point and kind of along the same lines as the age thing.
Do you see people that look like the fan base that you want to have on the platform? Take that time do that research get into those categories and niches and all that good stuff and see if it’s even making sense for you to get on there. You will see this formula again and again and again and then another common thing.
That’s really hopeful and it’s more of an SEO thing search. Engine optimization is the song names being the most recognizable part of the song as well, so think about solution has fast right in the first thing that he says when it gets to the most recognizable. Now, when it comes to me, I do have a more personal, specific formula that I use it’s a lot more comprehensive and it’s really dependent on the person it’s about helping them design their own campaign and where exactly that fits into the landscape.

One of the things I do is something called content templates, where I come up with a structure for the text, especially for repeated items. Now we’re going to work backwards in this article because it’s easier to learn when we’re going backwards. But most often, if I was going to do a Content template for this page, I probably wouldn’t actually have this piece of information designed.
Yet I would start with the content template and come up with my template. First, before I design and wire frame this the page, but we’re going to work whack backwards, because it’s a little bit easier to understand the process. So what I’ve got here is this is one photo of many photos taken by new horizons and there’s a very specific structure to this. If you scroll down, you can see here’s another photo and they’ve all follow a very, very similar structure.
It’s almost identical! So what I want to do is I want to come up with a template for this content. The great thing about coming up with these content templates is that, from a development point of view, then we have something to base our development on. We know which pieces are going to be repeated and we know that we can then use repeated, CSS and repeated HTML, and we can use code, generators and stuff like that and templates to actually make our site less duplicate.
I it’ll have less duplicated code, so we’re going to make a Content template from this. Now I’m going to start here. This is an image. Basically, this content is all about this image and you can see right here. It has a title, so I’m going to go in I’ve created a new markdown document and I’m going to start i’m going to use yamel and mark down to make my content template. There’s a article series on that on learning both of those things.
So I’m going to start by putting the title in here like that, so that’s first, I came up with an entry name for this thing. If you’ve done any programming, this would be like a variable. I’ve called it title and then I’ve pasted come up with there’s the title sort of thing, so you can see here is a date. Let’s say that that’s published the day that this was published. So I paste this in here. But for me this is a human, readable format and I’d want to convert this to a computer, readable format, so we’ll use oops, okay, we’ll use sort of a standardized version like that.
So we’ve got now the date in here the publish date. So you can see. There’s an image so we’ll go image: what’s this called global mosaic global mosaic, so there’s the image as part of this content template what else is there on here? So we have this little paragraph of text, I’ll copy copy that and paste it down here. So it’s at the bottom, in the markdown area and at the top here I’m doing yamel stuff very structured.
This here is just a hunk attacks, so it doesn’t really have that much structure and it makes sense for it to be down here. What else do we have? So listen very carefully. Time is of the essence. People don’t realize. What’s the number one factor that creates wealth that creates financial independence, catching new trends early, so always be on the lookout for new trends. So in 2016 October 2016 I made an announcement to the world.
You probably saw articles people draw. These articles are everywhere yep. I was making the prediction: I told people the biggest opportunity. I know I knew for an average person to go from maybe a job that hidden light or unemployment to something real was social media marketing, specifically starting a social media marketing agency. Now a lot of people listen, I build like a test group. I trained up over a hundred thousand people and boy in hindsight.
Now everybody knows like social media marketing agencies did very well. Obviously, social media is the marketing platform of choice. Choice. Now people aren’t on TV, so forget all that 2016. You missed out. What is that prediction? I have for 2020, simple, simple, simple: the opportunity is to become an e-commerce specialist. Now you might say I already know he calls big no-no. An e-commerce specialist is different.
It has three opportunities: when your econ specialist, you can become an entrepreneur, you can use it to get a job or you can use it to build an agency or consulting firm. So you can start as an entrepreneur. Your own products you can sell. You can help a company that already you know, needs a chief marketing officer or chief to digital marketing, officer, EECOM officer and then of course you can start a consulting firm where you come into businesses and you manage you know, or he came into an agency.
Eecom specialist, you mark my words 2016, I said, being a social media. Marketing agency was the way to go. I’m saying now: ecommerce Commerce, specialist, here’s. Why well, first of all go on the Forbes list. Most people forget to look at the Forbes list. You go Forbes lists and you look at number one number two number three number four and on 500, you go all the way through the top 20. What’s the number one pattern you see remember you’re, looking for patterns, you want to reverse-engineer success.
You take the blueprint that people followed and you reverse engineer it backwards to wherever you are in life. Now: okay, simple they’re, mostly econ people, number ones, Jeff Bezos richest person in history, depending on what currency is, but certainly the richest person of our time, pure e-comm. By the way, the definition of my definition of e-comm, it doesn’t mean you have to sell a physical product, doesn’t mean you can’t have something delivered.
In fact, it just means that the purchase the transaction happens online and the delivery comes to the door, that’s pure econ. So if you can be a lawyer in two econ, you don’t require people to come to your law office. You maybe do a zoom call, that’s being that’s legal. Ecommerce attorneys type ecommerce. You can sell physical product like Jeff Bezos. Does the transactions on a web site the delivery comes to your door? Okay, so I just want to give that definition so back to the formalist number one Jeff bezel, certainly e-commerce number two Bill Gates.
Definitely e-commerce. You know Microsoft is all products that you buy online and delivered directly digital downloads. Now you got Warren Buffett, warm up, it’s a mix because he has 92 brands. A lot of them, though, are econ. Ok, he’s out now, by the way, the largest apple shareholder. I think in the world, then you have, you know Google guys to wealthy co-ceos of Google P recom. Then you have Mark Zuckerberg Mark Zuckerberg everything he does.
Is he comp Facebook, Instagram, whatsapp, Steve Ballmer, 7th Richard Manuel he’s with Bill Gates, and the list goes on and on there’s a few exceptions, but the majority of people EECOM, so the proof is all there. It comes down to you being like. When do I want to get on this train cuz, a lot of people are slow, Jeff doesn’t start in 1994. I started in 2001. Some people are like ah dire justice, social media guy that just popped in in 2015.
I’m like man having 14 years before. I put my face on social media. I was already doing ecomp started 2001. Google Ads 2001 2002 of building Google AdWords wall, seeing the market of econ just feel like wow. That name wasn’t even the name we had now. So we knew EECOM was going to dominate by 2030. Everybody knew that 2040. Nobody was like. Ah people still be going to stores, no Amazon will be delivering in drones.
Drive you know. Driverless cars will be delivering you food because anytime things fast forward very quickly. It leaves a lot of people behind. So when you look at your life, you got ta, go when the times change. If I don’t change with them, the economy’s ruthless man, unfortunately, people think it’s capitalism, it’s not just capitalism everywhere in the world. When trends happen in people in patterns, change and people don’t change with them, I mean that was happened back when, and report came out with the car people who were in the buggy business horse and buggy lost a lot of money.
They didn’t change with the times. You see that in every century, for the last thousand years, some people are slow and they get left behind and I wish it wasn’t that way. I wish we lived in a more forgiving world, but I don’t know how to change the world, but I do know that it’s not the stronger, so the smartest who survive, but it’s the most adaptable to the environment in which they find themselves.
So I ask yourself deep down like am I adaptable, or am I somebody who, when the world gives me lemons, I just kind of put them in my mouth and goof or like the old cliche, goes: there’s a few people adaptable enough to go. What can I do with a lemon mix it with little sugar, little water and Nelson lemonade by the way, my first business when I was six years old? I started selling cherry tomatoes in San, Diego California, and it’s kind of the ghetto part for my mom didn’t want to leave me outside alone, so I could only sell when she could come read and then I remember nobody bought these little bags of cherry tomatoes.
Then I was like well not lemonade. Let me get some lemons sugar. My first lesson in marketing you got ta, add a little sugar to whatever you trying to sell it’s hard to sell bitter pills, so better turn them lemons into lemonade. So, for me, it’s like what Charlie Munger Warren Buffett say. What made them wealthy in 1977. Would it work in 1978 and what made him wealthy in 1978 wouldn’t work in 79.
They said you must become a learning machine. That is the, and, if you look at those two investors, they’ve averaged nineteen and a half percent since 1962, nobody’s done that you might have a friend in that I can do way more in nineteen percent. No, you can’t they’re, basically the highest return investors and their formula is very simple. The world changes every year – and I haven’t talked about these big macro trends that we see now so ask yourself: what are you doing to become a learning machine? Most of us see the news and they react to it all the world’s going to get worthwhile.
No humans will survive, civilization will survive. I’m an optimist, you got ta be enough to mister man, you got ta, be an optimist. Things will get better, but there will be a shift and so there’s an inflection point between the shift and how people buy and how people used to buy all kind of meat. And it’s almost like tectonic plates like they fight in one wins that four continents come from like North America and Australia.
It was like this tectonic shift and you have to ask yourself like okay, you get on the losing side of a tectonic shift, you’re buried. So that’s why the adaptability comes in. That’s where the learning machine comes where you’re at every point you’re like, where is the next ship coming and how do I get on that side? Well, I told you practically EECOM specialists. It. I’ve never come up with something.
That’s more comprehensive! If you don’t want to start your own business, you become an econ specialist just to get a job because come these by the tens of thousands are real, even restaurants or realizing. We have to have econ. We need to have. You know, Shopify store. This we need to be able to literally sell our product without maybe our awful clothes back up. We can’t rely on this, and so everything from restaurants to legal services to realtor’s, obviously, grocery stores, fashion brands.
You name supplement companies, they used to have stores those stores. Those those companies going bankrupt GNC is going bankrupt always on the teetering on the levels of bankruptcy. So your quick, the question is, I don’t want to be an entrepreneur, but I want to catch the next big trend, econ specialists. Now some of you say forget it. I want to work for other people. I’ve done that before most wealth is created by entrepreneurship, econ specialists, you’re going to have to know what I call the four piece: product: pricing, financial promotion, marketing placement delivery.
There’s four piece of e-commerce: you’ll meet some entrepreneur, the guy. I know one or two: oh look. I have many e-commerce brands. Some of them are pretty big, like I bought, Dress Barn, which is one of the largest clothing clothing companies by sales in the u.S. Did seven hundred forty million in revenue before I bought it last year over about 70 million a month that was doing we bought It and flipped it into an econ brand.
Okay. Instead of having six hundred fifty department stores, put it all online easier deliver to people the door, so I’ve got experience. I’ve got a great online grocery store farmer’s car of Mentor Box out many businesses. In fact, me, my business partners in the EECOM space we’re now in the ten figures of revenue, so eight figures is ten million. Nine figures is a hundred million ten figures when you start getting into the big, be the billion so we’re already in that place playing in that space, we’ve been doing it for.
What’s that way. Over a decade, we’ve spent six hundred million dollars on Facebook at YouTube. Ads you’ve seen me probably YouTube and Google and snapchat and Twitter, and all these, so we we’re already in that space. Some people say I’ll tie is that how you make your money teaching other people how to do stuff? Um like no, I make more money doing the actual stuff. I mean we’re shipping, some people say they’re doing EECOM.
They got 50 sales. I mean we’re doing yeah. Tens of thousands of shipments at a time between the different businesses that we have, and so I know the econ space and that’s why I’m telling you the hardest thing and the reason I’m recording this article is just to share. You know I’ve been trying to hire more EECOM specialists, they don’t exist as entrepreneurs or employees and there’s a lot of people.
I think they know EECOM, but they’re not well rounded, on another four-piece then on PvP is that understand: EP LCpl epc CPC. They don’t know what the baseline should be, that understand: SMS marketing, email, marketing segmentation – they don’t understand, you know, sourcing logistics, 3pls, verse, drop shipping, they don’t understand software, there’s so many things in fact. There’s you know 16 core things you need to know eat for econ and each of those there’s some sets of four should talk about.
There’s 64 things. You really know to become what I call it an econ specialist. The reason I record this article. I’ve been trying to hire people for my different econ companies I gave up. I was like I got, ta train them. I nah I was just college, isn’t helping either that digital degrees and all this? Yes, I call not to sound cocky of me and my business partner Alex have done more econ sales than I think.
Every professor in the world teaching econ combined. That’s nothing! You want to learn business from some things you can learn from a professor. I like professors, if I were an art, history, Egyptian history, I learn it, but if I want to learn basketball, I’m not going to go to college professor farm business. I don’t want nothing college, professor, it’s a big mistake and that’s why I’m for the most part, the wealthiest people in the world dropped out of college.
I’m not saying you should drop out of college, I’m just saying for that. One specific thing like becoming gaining on the Corp list: it’s not correlated! That’s why Elon Musk is like not it’s not correlated. What is correlated is skill, specifically econ skill, by the way notice that Elon Musk built Tesla very calm like there’s no car dealerships, you kind of put in your order online and you may go pick it up two for delivery, but not really it’s an econ play.
So you know I’m most pretty smart guy. What did he become wealthy from PayPal, an econ bank? So he see he sees the patterns. He continues on the pattern and now it’s even more relevant to you. So I’m making this article simply because you know people have been asking me: what’s the next big thing and what do I think of the time to live in it? What are they going to stop marking and I’m like get all that build the econ skill, I’m telling you, I told people in 2016 a lot of people, listen most people ignored and they’re, not one of them that ignored that think.
I was wrong now. Do you really think building social media marketing skill wasn’t a legit business, there’s tens of hundreds of thousands, the social media marketing companies across the world? I know I mean the US government and gave me the trademark on SMM a social media marketing agency, because they realize I trained a lot of people and there was a legitimate business that people a legitimate set of training.
So the thing is, it’s more saturated. Now push me a marketing is still like business, but it’s more saturated. Would you rather have gotten in in October 2016, when I said or 2020 well, early bird gets the worm when markets get saturated, there’s still profit, but not as much so. I found article. I was like I haven’t talked to you doing. While that’s long good look, I build a little test group called ECS EECOM certified specialist.
I built it to kind of use for interns, because I’ve tried to hire people. I’ve hired from Ivy League schools, Ivy League right. That’s like Harvard Yale these type schools. I’m already fired me not to say that those are bad schools. I’m just saying, like an Amish guy told me, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drinking. You could send a boy to college, but you can’t make them think you don’t have to think in this game.
You don’t have to have a real skill, eat coms like a chess game and you can’t just come a little. You know like hey, you know. I went to college for chess. You got to be like look, I’m in the trenches playing chess at the tournaments. That’s how you get recognition, it’s the same with econ, so I created this. You know four-month program that I use on interns and staff dividing the 16. Lessons goes to the four PS product pricing promotions.
Placement gives them that well-rounded and now they’re going for me and some of them, some people work for me and then they go on. I have many people who work for me and now go off to become an econ entrepreneurs. In fact, my best friend Jeremy, from when I was two years old. He came a work for me for five years. He met a girl who was working for me. They got married, they launched the econ brand called omen.
All it’s a clothing brand out of the UK he’s never worked today. It’s his life, since fact I haven’t seen if he he just travels around the world, he’s in Bali right now through all this, and it’s not a company, that’s making 100 million bucks a year, but it makes some. I don’t know the exact amount, but it makes it bright. Fifty sixty thousand a month you know profit. I don’t know those numbers update, but I know it’s significant amount compared to the average person and when I problem not saying if you go through and learn econ, like my test group you’re going to become like my friend, Germany, I’m just telling you like, I built This training and my best friend took it.
He transformed his life, he was studying to become a lawyer and then he came to forget that I’m going to come work with you died, so I’ve been building this, but I’ve never formalized it until last Friday. I put this thing out and I was like. Let me just share this with the world see if anybody want to get in, I did 1 zoom live call 700 to it. So I’ve built this step by step 16 week, training the end of the 16 weeks.
There’s an exam: if you pass it, you get a certification, EECOM certified specialist, that’s not a college degree. I didn’t go to college, so I’m not going to give you a college degree, but it’s a legitimate certification that you use for yourself and it’ll open some doors. A lot of people know me know that I know econ know that I understand the game of online, and so it would open a door for came to work.
For me, it will open some doors, but ultimately, what opens the doors that use having a real skill set now’s the time to retrain the brain get in on this, so I’m going to put a link below or here in the corners I mean you can click It go read about how the test group works. You got to take this seriously like I’ve done it where I just open it up to the world, and people don’t take it seriously.
It’s just like this is one that’s going to get saturated, so first come first serve. You know and put this link it’s open for three more days now I go through some question. People at you know common questions like how do I know this will work for me, I like how much does it cost? Why does it cost money you know? Is there a refund policy? What, if I don’t how many hours in a week do I need to spend on this? I don’t have a lot of time.
Maybe I’m busy what happens if I fail to the exam at the end? Okay, so let me just go through this real, quick, some common test questions. The most common question is like how do I know this will work for me, a couple things. Look I’ve trained, I think, for an individual personal brand. Well, I’ve had more people go through. My training than I think anybody in history it’s hard for me to exactly verify that, but I’ve had over.
You know several hundred million people read my free business training. My youtube blog just passed 2.6 billion minutes readed, something like that and then you know my paid programs. I’ve had, I don’t even know the number, but let’s just underestimate, let’s say five: six hundred thousand people have gone through. That’s a lot just in the last five years, like most universities, how, like forty thousand people go through per year, I’m averaging one hundred thousand people.
So I I know how to I know what works and what doesn’t work. I’ve launched some things and I’ve learned. Oh, that didn’t work and we continually adjusted and adapted this program is badass. This is the real deal you mark my words you miss out on this one it’ll just be like 2016, the people who missed out s, I’m amazed that we like it’ll, be 2020 for the bike. Well, it’s still working our bike yeah, but it’s more saturated.
Now you can use this to launch your own business. Your own EECOM sell your own products and use it to get a job. You can use it to be a consultant or launch an agency. So there’s this multiple angles on it: another conquest. Okay, why do I target money for well? If I made this a free training, because i’ve done that before a million people will go through it this year? If you want that level of competition – oh, I can make it free, but I’ve also learned like I’ve made stuff free.
Like I had a free three-day training thing. Average person went through half of one article and people pay for stuff. They go through it more. Like my 67 steps, article people paid 67 bucks and got 67 articles averaging 3045 minutes. People got through the whole thing or I paid for it and they got the value. So I crack success stories and case studies and testimonials. I don’t get that many testimonials from free stuff.
I can I optimize around testimonials. Some people think I know I don’t believe you’re just doing it to make money. Okay, whatever you think you know, I I make more revenue from econ brand that I own and I don’t teach about because it’s been a thing. Oh you only get rich by teaching other people out of here. No, it’s a good theory. It makes people feel better about themselves. I teach this stuff, partly because there’s profit in it.
I mean, let’s be honest, I got employees to pay health insurance, I’m not going to. Why would I go in my own pocket to teach, but that’s not the only reason. I genuinely enjoy the business that I have in the in the training space just because it’s cool to get testimonials every single day, it’s cool to go out of public with people. Okay, I want you to know that you’re 67 steps what may change my life, like? Not a bad business, a lot of businesses suck you get people mad at you all the time.
Well, this isn’t one of them so sure I’ve gotten flack and people go. Oh, this is a get-rich-quick scene notice. I haven’t told you’re going to get rid from this. In fact, I can pretty much tell you you’re not going to get on the Forbes list. Not everybody can be a billionaire. Not even everybody can be a millionaire, but I have a firm conviction that financial independence through EECOM can be achieved in almost any country.
Cuz. That’s a common question Thai. What if I don’t live in US, what probably been a small town in the US, so it’s equal um! Why does it matter where you live? If I lived in Nepal or Bangladesh or I live in Botswana or I lived in Poland or I live in Saskatchewan Canada econ you could sell, I could sell right into the u.S.. U.S. Is the largest economy or the EU or Austria. I would go into the easy economies.
First, I lived in Brazil all of our lived in Africa. I live in Australia. If I lived in India, so econ’s a beautiful thing because it levels it makes the world flat. People say what, if I’m young one from old with econ, when you buy something on Amazon, do you look how old the seller is or third a female male mom? You don’t care! You look at that ethnicity, it’s all so beautiful thing about EECOM.
It levels the playing field. So don’t worry about your age. This program is powerful, even if you’re in a part of the world or a demographic, that’s cetera, that’s discriminated against. She calms the great level of Rann. Nobody cares, you could be ugly, could be overweight. You could be eight years old, I mean a lot of. You saw people getting older, Charlie Munger’s in the game. He’s 92. I think now.

You do not need to learn how to be a computer programmer, but you need to understand the basics of the app world about the plugins on places like Shopify. If that’s, what your the persona and digital product we’ll talk about, Amazon, how to sell on Amazon, deliver masses, the largest marketplace in the world and it’s multiple teachers.
Obviously I’m going to be teaching. My business partner Alex dr. Dr. Alex, is going to be teaching. He just sold his company. You have up to one year, okay, so year to year program, but I didn’t want to give people.
I don’t be, will know I’m going to do this over ten years, no four to twelve months. Maximum. Okay, so if you want to take twelve months, you can just do less time per week. If you want to go through a real fast, you can spend three four hours a week. You break it up 30 minutes a day. We have easily downloadable lessons article or audio, you can do it while you’re on the treadmill. You can do all your jogging, you can do a wall you’re, you know doing the dishes or cooking, and then some people ask about the quiz by the way.

I want to get a focus group of people in close it and take that group, and so in this test group there’s going to be benefits to this test group that nobody else has got so your snooze, you lose I’ve also learned, you know it’s just like You go to the grocery store and have like coupon like this is ten percent off today.
This so there’s a reason and people this is for those of you on the fence. Let this be a motivation you might miss out on it. I found that that works, better they’re, not trying to be cheesy, and but you know, every store in the world has timelines. So I’m up. You know these are companies that are doing seven, eight hundred million forever21. We didn’t win the big.
I got out big, but I was right at the table to buy 3.5 billion dollar revenue company with massive EECOM. So, my point being it’s like: I can tell you you can look around and try to learn this on your own, but you’re not going to get people with credentials because they don’t exist. How much in the world he comes new. You might think it’s old. It’s still new, it’s old for Jeff Bezos, but the average business owner the average individual.
They might know social media market, but they don’t know econ econ is different. You’d, be good at social media and make no money. I know so many social media influencers. They don’t know econ, so they have millions of followers, but their bank accounts like true you’re, going wait. A sec can’t like you, want social media marketing is part of this we’ll be talking about that. But when we talk about the framework of like how does it work eat with econ? That’s what you need so there’s not much more.

But I noticed that you know every time I created a page, I was unable to post underneath the page, for example this about me page when I created this page. I could only write in this page one time and I couldn’t post anything underneath it.
However, all of my posts were listed by days on my home tab. So then, I was able to find a way to make different tabs up here and, for example, if I click on this Web 2.0 tab, I was able to take different posts and stick it underneath my web 2.0 tab or page. So in this tutorial, I’m going to demonstrate how to add links to pages on your blog up here and then how to organize posts onto your different pages.
So when I first started – and I wanted to make pages – you know I of course I automatically just went to my blogger – account click on the pages icon and then just added a new page, and then that’s when I discovered hey, I can’t add more posts on To my pages, so this does not work. So what we’re going to do is first, go to layout, select layouts. Now this will show you the layout of your your blog.
So I took my pages bar and I moved it up here underneath my header. So that’s where I like my pages bar to be, but you can have yours anywhere so select edit this and you’re going to notice up here that I only have really two pages that I made and remember. These are the pages that I cannot post underneath. But what I did was I added external links in order to create the new pages, so these are all of my different external links.
Remember my web 2.0 one then there’s audio/article graphics. So if I go back to my blog web 2.0, audio/article, graphics and so on, okay, so what we’re going to do is we are going to add an external link to our blog and by adding this external link onto this pages bar you’ll be able to have That tab on your blog, so in order to generate that external link, we’re going to have to get two things ready, first choose a title for this page or this tab.
So I’ve already decided that my new tab or my new page is going to be called presentation and I’m going to squeeze it right here in between graphics and Apple Mac. Osx second, have a blog post or posts that you want under that page. So it’s easier to do this if you already know which posts you want to have underneath your specific tab or your specific page, all right, so my new tab is going to be called presentation and I already have two posts in mind that I know I want To stick underneath here and it’s important to know these two things before you get started now: let’s generate that external link so that we can add the tab onto our blog first go to your blogger account and on your menu area, select posts.
Remember that I’ve already decided which posts I wanted to go underneath my presentation tab. So I’m going to go and find my post and it’s going to be this one called voicethread I’m going to edit this. So this is the important part on mypos. Underneath my post settings there’s an area called labels: okay, I’m going to click on this area and I’m going to call this post presentation now. The important thing about these labels is that every time you create a label for your posting, your post gets organized underneath a label and the label comes with a link.
So we are going to what we. What I just did was, I wrote presentation in here and then I’m going to press done and now this post has been organized underneath a label called presentation and it comes with a link. So I’m going to update this post and now I’m going to try to retrieve that link so that I can go and use it to add my page. So I’m going to go back to my blog up here. Wait for wait a minute right here! I’m going to see this voicethread right here, so I just added presentation on it.
It shows right here then I’m going to go to my blog and I’m going to find that posting about voicethread. So it was an old one back in June, and here it is voicethread. So underneath this posting there is a link, that’s generated called presentation. So I’m going to click on this presentation link and now it takes me to kind of like a page where anything that has the word presentation on it. Any post that has the label presentation on it will be on a certain page.
So I’m going to copy this page right here, so you can right-click and copy or control C and then go back to your your account for blogger and on your account page go back to layout and now that we have this link we’re going to go back To the pages bar and we’re going to add this external link and remember, I already knew what my page title is going to be is going to be presentation, and I have the way that web address here and I’m going to save my link and the link Is right here and I wanted my link to be between graphics and um Apple, so right there and I’m happy with that.
Now I press save and I’m going to refresh my blog remember. My tab should show up right here between graphics and Apple, I’m going to refresh it and there it is so it says it’s showing posts with the label presentation, okay, but I only have one post on here. So I want to put another posting on here. So, just to you know, check and make sure I’m going to go back to my account, go back to posts and I know which posts I want to put under presentation.
So I’m going to use my posting called summer reflection, I’m going to edit it and remember that my label was called presentation. Oh there, it is – and it’s also right here. So all of my labels will automatically be placed down here to remind me of all the different pages and labels that I’ve made press done and update. So once again I’ll go back to my page and I’m going to refresh it, and there is my summer reflection that I just labeled underneath presentation.
So there are some reflection and if I scroll down there’s my voicethread and it’s listed by dates so in the future. Anytime, I want to post about a presentation topic. I can just add, add the label to it and it should automatically show up underneath this page or this tab called presentation. So I’ll do one more. So all this time I’ll create a brand new post and I’m just going to call it a presentation example an example, post and remember I’ll, go to my label and then I’ll, find presentation.
Just add that and press done and publish I’m not going to share this publicly going to go back to my page and let’s lick, let’s look for it on the home page. So it’s up here on my home page presentation example, and it should be underneath my presentation tab as well and there it is, and that’s how you add, links to your pages on your blog and that’s how you organize posts on two different pages.
