I want to offer you a free search engine, optimization keyword, finder tool, that’s a mouthful, but let’s go over what search engine optimization is first SEO. What is that? Why do we need it? Why do we need to understand it, and I I personally, as I research it more and more and the more I learn about it, it’s the people that have a really good understanding of what SEO is and how to use.
It are the people that are usually more successful in the getting a traffic that is free. You have two different kinds of traffic, and I’ve talked about that in other articles, there’s paid traffic, you pay for with money and then there’s free traffic which isn’t really free because you’re paying for it with your time but money or time which one do you have And how do you want to find your traffic, so I’m going to show you how to find the free traffic or the traffic that you spend with your time and not with your money and that’s what search engine optimization is.
Basically, if you go online and you go to search for something you’re using the whole process, you might go in and search for. How do I lose ten pounds or something like that and when you type it in the the articles that pop up or the articles that pop up are the ones that have keywords, they kind of have a more in-depth knowledge and they’re picking keywords that help them To rank on that first page, because if you’re anything like I am, there could be 30,000 pages in that search.
That comes up. I don’t know anybody that goes to page 25 to find something. Now, maybe you do maybe you’ve been in marketing and you’re like hey. I’m going to go find out what other people have, because I know these people in the front page are using their search engine, optimization skills, pretty good idea, but the average person stays on that first page and they’re going to find the answer to the question.
So your goal as a marketer is to get on that first page. If you can so I’m going to offer a free tool to you today that, especially if you’re new and you’ve never done it, you don’t want to put any money out. There’s all kinds of tools out there that you could pay monthly fee. Four and again a lot of us don’t want to put money out in the beginning, so I’ve got a free tool for you today. So let’s go ahead and get started.
We’re going to go through the process, okay, we’re going to go into Google and we’re going to Google. Let’s see what I have up clickfunnels. What is clickfunnels! I used that at first just so we could see what comes up and, as you can see, articles I articles and russell brunson comes up a lot. So if you are trying to end up on this first page and rank high you’re, actually competing with russell brunson who owns clickfunnels and it’s probably extremely competitive spencer Meachem beckham has gotten his face in here is number three, but everything else almost the majority of these Are from the business, so what you would have to do is go in and find other keywords, so you might start talking about sales funnels or something like that.
Let’s look up what is a sales funnel and see what pops up? Okay in our search. So, let’s go here and let’s just see what happens, how different it might become? Alright, so that’s everything you always want to hit. If you’re looking for something to put on your article, you want to go under articles. If you’re looking for a blog, then you might want to stay on the all page, but I will say a lot of the articles that come up are also blogs.
If you look right here where this one says youtube.Com, I know that this is a article but see Brussels right there. What is the sales funnel? The second one here is a blog because it doesn’t say YouTube. So if a blog has an embedded article, a little tip there, if you are really big about posting blogs on your website, you’re trying to get traffic put in the embedded article on there and it’s going to also pop up on the article page.
So it’s just another way to get more traffic, but here’s one here from 2016, if you, if you notice more people, are on this page besides Russell, so I think Russell only landed here once, which is pretty good. So if you want to make a article about click funnels, you might not use the word. Click funnels in your title because, what’s going to happen, is it’s highly competitive and you’re going to get pushed way way back? So instead you want to maybe just say what is a sales funnel or say something about that now, how can I even go in more in-depth? I usually start out with that.
Just asking questions like what what would people who are wanting to look at my blog? What are questions that they might ask? Sometimes I use real questions that people send to me, and sometimes I just think to myself what would I so here’s the free tool that I want to show to you so we’re going to say what is a sales funnel and we’re going to go? It’s called ubersuggest calm, it’s free I’ll, put the link below Neil Patel.
This is him right here created this site and he offers it for free there’s his name. A great person follow on YouTube by the way, if you’re really into blogging SEO, and things like that. He’s he’s been around for a while. So definitely follow him. If that’s, if you want to dig in a little bit deeper, but this one says click funnels and as you can see it, the difficulty levels 36, the search engine – optimization difficulties 56, the higher.
That number is the more difficult, but let’s go ahead and type in what is a sales funnel, because remember, we already decided click funnels would be too hard to compete with look at this. Just by changing that word, the SEO difficulty goes all the way down down to 10 and it’s easy. So if you’re writing a blog or if you were making a article – and you want people to search and find you use the word sales funnel.
Instead of click funnels – and you might say, yeah, but I use click funnels and I won’t want to tell people about it. Well, you could have a title that says what is the best sales funnel and people are going to go yeah. What is that best? Sales? Funnel and then you can go on to explain click funnels inside your article, but your keyword, search that main search is going to be. What is a sales funnel? Does that make sense, so you’re still getting your information in there but you’re looking at the the difficulty levels? Alright, what are some other things we can do here in urban ubersuggest? If you go down, it says, word ideas, so we started out what is a sales funnel now this system is going to tell us what are some more key words that we can use in our description, in our blog or in our SEO part tags in our Article and here are some other: what is this, what is a sales funnel and you can just go down here on the side and you can get other ideas.
These are other questions or keyword, ideas that you can get, and you can look at all of the analytics that comes with it. Cpc means click per cost per click, I’m sorry, so the lower this number is the better. It is for you, the less competitive. If that click is really high again, remember you’re competing with the big dawgs you’re competing with click funnels, and you don’t want to do that. You want that to be low, so this says here: what is the sales funnel or how do you create a sales funnel? Ok, that would be another way to do it.
We can also go down here and get content ideas, so, if you’re still thinking ok, I want to talk about sales funnels and insert click funnels is in there. What are some content ideas that I can use and again what is what the heck is: a blog sales funnel okay, four phases to sales funnel, so these are all different articles or content ideas that you can use, and these are actual ones that are out there.
Now he gets into backlinks for bloggers, so this is definitely a good place to find out about backlinks and how many are with these articles. So if you want to dig in deeper, that’s a whole nother article. This person here is on Facebook, a lot notice that and they’re pretty successful down here. The one right below it is on Pinterest a lot. So don’t I don’t want you to look at those and think I have to be on Facebook or I have to be on Pinterest.
There are people who are successful in every single platform. The key for you is: what platform do you enjoy using if you love Instagram, like you’re, on the go a lot and you’re one of those people that you know you’re, always on your phone and insta, you just love. It then build your business on Instagram. If you’d love to make articles build your business on YouTube, I think that’s what’s important, because there are successful people on every single platform.
Linkedin I’ve seen people be very, very successful there. So, yes, this is important information, but you you need to be on the platform. The social media platform that best fits you. Let’s do another one, here’s! How do I organize my social media? Okay, there’s just the a general question. Now again, I’m not looking for a blog, I’m looking for articles because I am on YouTube. So, let’s use that – and here you go there’s this is what I want to do when I’m trying to rank.
I want to rank on this front page. I want people to grab my article now. Here’s one, let’s see she’s ranking one, two, three, four, here’s somebody! I love on YouTube. Then she’s got a article ranking number four, her net name is sunny and she talks about a lot about creating a business with YouTube and in this particular article she talked about social media marketing and how she’s organized she made this article back in 2015 and I’m Pointing this out, because this is why I love YouTube.
She did this four years ago and it’s still ranking and if I was looking the chances are, I could click that it’s the fourth one down and you know she may, in her article, be suggesting different tools. I’m sure she’s suggesting a certain social media organization tool for me to use because she’s probably going to go through it. But my point is its evergreen. It stayed here for four years and she’s still getting views we’re going to get rid of that commercial.
Now I’m not going to go into the article and read it and everything, but I can assure you that sunny is recommending a certain social media organization tool for us to check out and it’s an affiliate link for her and again. She made this four years ago. But we can look at some of the keywords that she used. We can pop them into that ubersuggest. Now I do have a vid IQ and two buddy that I pay for, but I always start out free with dooper suggest and then, when I pull up articles, that’s when I go a step further.
You don’t have to do that. Okay, I just happen to that’s where I’m at right. Now, with what I like to use two months from now, you might say well, why are you using that anymore? But that’s where I’m at right now but ubersuggest, so I can put in here. I go back and let’s put in let’s go to the top here, ask a question: what is a social media manage event, okay lets or how do I organize my social media posts? You could write that.
Okay, look at that! Hardly any competition when you get into social media management, and I actually have a article that I did about HootSuite. It was way back when I started it’s almost a year old and that article has gotten the most views, because I’ve learned that if you start looking at areas that everybody else isn’t making articles with sunny actually calls it. She calls them Gap articles. But if you go in and start looking for things that have very little competition and you make articles in that area and your articles are going to have a be more likely to be on that first page or your search engine optimization, is going to push you And help you to rank first, so that’s another little thing that you want to look at, but here we are and we can see not a lot of competition.
So let’s look at some keyword ideas now here you can go a step further. You can pick your favorite social media management tool and type that word in and see how the competition is. There 26 keyword ideas. What is social media management? What is it you could do a whole article or a blog about describing that tool. Social media management tools for free there’s another one. Now that one is higher, the cost per click is higher, because maybe people are looking for that what it? What are the free tools that are out there? So this again is a free link, a free tool for you to look for keywords: um, let’s go back over here at the content ideas.
I just wanted to bring this to your put it in your tool, but the toolbox, if you could say so that you have something to use for free, because I know when you’re new there’s so many things out there and some of these keyword search tools can Get pretty expensive now, if you’re using them, and you really understand how to use them and that you know your to that point where you really understand what you’re doing then by all means start paying for them.
This is a great one to start with it’s free and it helps you to start getting the idea of what search engine optimization is so I hope this was helpful again. It’s called ubersuggest com I’ll go ahead and put the link below and before you go. First of all, thank you for making it to the end here, but before you go, give me a thumbs up. Do we really need to bring in creating gods there, too? The existence of a pantheon of gods and fantasy role-playing is one of those things that I find very bizarre personally, because the Pantheon’s that are created for these fantasy role-playing games very rarely resemble the pantheon like pantheon of deities that we can point to in in.
Like Earth’s own, religious history, where the gods are intimately tied to some sort of mythology or something and very closely connected with each other and there’s all these stories about them that that tied them together well, yeah I mean you, know: Athena busting out of Zeus’s head And her daughter, blinded and it’s all very interconnected, like almost like familial there’s that there’s the whole like the world is a rotting carcass and the animals and monsters and gods come out of it.
That’s sort of like Norse mythology, as I as I understand it. At least but then you get to like Dungeons and Dragons and Dungeons and Dragons derived fantasy, which dungeons of dragons has been around long enough. Now that it has both influenced other genres, like iterations of fantasy role-playing, whether it’s tabletop or article games or whatever and then has in turn been influenced by those that it influenced first off.
So it’s sort of like having a conversation with itself and I think it is eating its own tail right and I think when some things are introduced into that and they’re not examined and they’re, not reimagined, then they just get regurgitate it ad nauseam to the point Where it’s like here’s another bog-standard, fantasy pantheon, which is just a collection of micro monotheism’s that have no weight to them, there’s not a faith, that’s necessary for your character to belong to and to practice and to engage with it’s just like this is the god of Fire and the goddess of the earth, and the god of whatever in commerce and whatever, and it’s just like it’s bloodless tooth gods and I frankly am tired of them.
And so I I it’s one of those things when I, when I see a fantasy setting, and it’s got yet another fantasy Pantheon, that’s like why did you even go to the trouble of making this up yourself like it’s nothing original about it, there’s nothing different about It it’s just the same thing, I’m talking strictly in like a published adventure type. You know I’m buying a campaign setting if it’s if it’s got another fantasy Pantheon in it, it’s a mark against it.
For me cuz, it’s like right. I don’t you, don’t even need to think to create up one of these. You just do it well yeah. I mean okay uh. What’s the what’s the the god of the Sun and morning’s a new beginning yeah, you know you’re just slapping a different face and a different name right on an already known concept, and that, while that is easy to do what are some different kind of schemes that You could at least draw from right, so, if you’re looking to freshen things up, you want something different.
My suggestion would be to first look outside of the Pantheon model of divinities polytheism right. It’s a polytheism that I find very bizarre and very little connection to the historical modes that I’m familiar with, and maybe for some people who are not steeped in like ancient religion and whatever else you know that they’ve spent way too much time reading about they don’t Care, you know, and in a bog-standard by-the-book kind of pantheon.
I do this when I’m like. I don’t want to think about it like this. My the point of this world is not to go in-depth about the gods or I’m going to let them come from the bottom up, in which case I will let the players take the lead on what kind of gods there are yeah. This show is a top-down approach, type show we’re talking of world building we’re talking crafting the deep backstory of your world that will inform your campaign, and so, in that sense it’s worth taking a look at the divinities and-and-and gods and the like that you have in Your setting and asking some real questions about them.
Why am I making the choices that I’m making? Is there something about the choices that I’m making that I’m just like going off of what was there before and if I’m doing that, then doing it because you’re conscious of it not because you’re, just like replicating the same mode of the pantheon of monotheism, the collection Of monotheistic religions that the most fantasy is, you could go like full-on straight monotheism, and this is one of those that I have personally found and at both, in my experience as a dungeon master and in reading about online, that it makes a lot of people uncomfortable.
That when you say there is one god in my setting, this is it. These are the powers associated with it. These are the social structures that are associated with it. This is the religion. That’s attached to it that when you do that, you number one your if you’re not creating an expansive enough monotheism, then you might be limiting character concepts for your players. They might be resentful of that.
There’s a whole real-world angle going on over here right, where people are just you know, maybe they’re uncomfortable with real world religions, they’re not familiar with it. They don’t like it they’re, irreligious or a religious or atheist or whatever stripe of non-religious participating. They are they just don’t want to have to deal with it. Right of monotheism is one that’s something to bring up in a session zero there or even before then it’s just like hey my setting has a you know monotheistic flavor, there’s one God.
You could go the other route like dual gods: sort of man, icky and dualism, where there’s one god and then an opposing God, whether that’s light and dark creation and destruction, good evil law chaos, whatever dichotomy you’re going for that, can be one that ties nicely in With a cosmic conflict of some kind, you know I’m thinking of something like middle-earth the main deity, that’s in middlee of middle-earth, aloo, guitar and nel, cuore and worn off, and all the other sort of like dark and gellick beings and and the that’s kind of a Setting that has a monotheism right, there’s like this one God and then created all these other celestial beings to help it create the world and earth and all that other business.
So there’s celestial beings that you can appeal to that. You can interact with and whatever, but they’re not gods, they’re more powerful than mortals might as well be gods, but there’s still a ranking there. So that’s sort of a way of blending the two. If you’re doing like a dualism, maybe one of the deities is it proper deity and the other is more of like a demonic figure of some kind, lesser in power, but because they’re lesser in power, they’re, it’s easier for them to interact with the mortal world or Something we can go the opposite end of the spectrum and be like full-on animist, where, like everything, has a spirit and a godling and elemental spirit of something or other and and the role of divine classes in the game is play cating all of these spirits.
So if you have say a cleric of war, for instance, then there’s no God of war that they appeal to. But there are spirits and gods of war, maybe a god of fear or a God of discipline, or something like like that. Where they’re not like, all-powerful all-encompassing, deities, they’re more like forces that move in the world that declares a part of so those are some options that are available and the reason why I kind of bring it up – and I don’t mean to like misdirect our viewers here, Where it’s like we’re going to talk about building a Pantheon, a Pantheon you shouldn’t do we will get to building a Pantheon here in a minute, yeah yeah, but before you get to that step of laying out which gods are in your setting, it is worthwhile to Ask yourself: why am I doing this? What is the point of the divine beings in my setting? Why am I choosing a Pantheon over some of these other schemes or get other arrangements of divinities in your game like? Why is that? And if the answer is just kind of like mm-hmm, there should be gods or spells right.
That’s an opportunity for a Dungeon Master to sit with that concept a little longer and think it through and fully develop. It yeah. Thinking of some questions that we can ask ourselves for for those things, I really think that a founding myth well yeah, it’s important right. I was going to say Jim. Where do you begin? I begin at the beginning. At the beginning, in the first chapter, the founding myth is important because it sets the tone for everything in your campaign you’re starting at a cosmic level, a large scale right.
I’m a big advocate of the bottom-up approach to campaign design, where it’s like. You really just need a starting Adventure, location and stuff that’s going on there and is there go there? No! Well, then, who cares like then? Who cares but world building is a fun exercise. It helps us and, as you build a campaign from the bottom up, you can take the time in between sessions to start top down building as well and see what I mean and see where they meet and – and you know you take the elements that are mentioned In the bottom-up play and then create a top-down elements for them in between sessions, for instance, and so thinking about a founding myth is important.
Where do the planes come from who lives there and how did they get there? That’s kind of where I would start. This is the entire cosmos. Is it the Great Wheel, cosmology of outer plane transit, though you know astral, Prime ethereal inner? Is it something completely different? Are you going with like the fourth edition model of the elemental chaos and then the sort of the astral sea method? There or something completely different thinking about that is going to be important, considering the place of the multiverse and the planes, and everything is important.
Those chapters in the dmg that talk about the different planes and what happens there, our jumping-off points for this. Maybe you start combining different ones or coming up with your own altogether, moving on from that, if there are planes and if there are inhabitants to those planes, then what about the gods? What are the gods come from where they eternal yeah? Are they always present? One day decided to start creating things or do the mortal races and creation precede the gods and later on, the gods come about because of belief and faith, and even the gods there could be from a bottom up approach right and the people actually create the gods.
That’s kind of a strong theme that runs through Dungeons and Dragons. We’re, like the active faith of a bunch of people, brings power to the gods, that’s kind of a default mode for it yeah kind of bring up a point. You you you, you touched on earlier when it comes to faith and in the creation of if it’s God’s versus men like who created who huh in in D & D, such a thing in our own world with religion, is the fact of faith.
It’s it’s. The fact of you know it’s in the absence of evidence like, but in D & D, like evidences everywhere you, if you do your prayers and you cast a spell you’re a priest or a cleric. You get spells. How does that affect faith? And how does faith change because there is direct evidence? Maybe if you’re going by that baseline, where existence of the deities in Dungeons and Dragons worlds and other sort of typical traditional fantasy worlds is real and there’s evidence for it.
Because of spells, you can talk to them, you can summon their servants. You can do all these things. Then faith is less a matter of like the kind of faith that we understand it of like a devotion to a principle or an ideal or a something that we have no tangible proof of, and it is instead adherence to a stricture of rules and and a Code of conduct that is handed down from a higher order being and then faith there is less about like trust and hope, and it’s more about obedience and and conformity yeah or the faith that that what you adhere to is the right path.
I like personally like adding in that element of our their gods or their. Not that’s why I really liked ever on right, like there is no evidence of gods in everyone. There’s clerical magic, there’s divine magic, but there’s no evidence of gods, necessarily there’s enough that people are faithful. But it’s not like traditional D & D, where there’s concrete proof, yeah and even and then there there are factions within D & D who are like.
Well. Those aren’t gods, they’re, artists, well, it’ll, be an example. From my own experience, the way I decided to handle that in story valve uh-huh, religion isn’t really talked about a lot, because all these people came from all these different spheres and all kind of jumbled together and thrown together and the blender on this one planet. So you have all these people that believe in all these different concepts that are similar, but they call them by different names.
So there are shrines everywhere too, like oh, the shrine of the morning Lord or the morning, or you know new beginnings like there’s a shrine to that concept, and people go and pay homage to their God at that shrine, but other than that like people. Just it’s more of a personal thing, because I wanted to have it that way, because I really wanted the players any of the players that wanted to play a cleric or someone who would believe in a higher power to bring like.
What do you want to believe in like I want you to create that really and for you to express that? Not me informing you how you should behave right, because I think that that’s just far more interesting, I can see that sort of like player led a Pantheon creation, is something I fall back on a lot just because it really tailors what the player wants to be. Most relevant to that particular campaign. Now I’ve done ones where you know it’s monotheism with different factions and divisions within the faith within the Church of it that represent.
You know different elements and allow for different kinds of clerics. Moving on from sort of the the founding myths and all those are there, certain high-minded questions and getting down like the nitty-gritty of design yourself, there’s two main approaches right, like sort of the ways that you can look at creating a Pantheon, you can either take the Game first sort of like build a game, build a set of gods that are supported by the existing game, mechanics yeah, yeah or you can flip the script and create a set of gods.
And then, if there are no game mechanics to back it up, you create them yourself. So, looking at game mechanics for gods, how do you do that? Where you’re not just filing off Lysander and putting a new name on for your morning boy, I mean, if that’s what’s working for you right, like don’t forget to skip the first part of the article and the rant and everything you know. If what you want is the standard fantasy list, you know maybe you’re new to the game.
Yeah, maybe you’ve come from. You know a popular stream or something like that and you’re like all right. Well, they’ve got these gods and critical role or high rollers or adventure zone or whatever it is that you’re coming from you’re, not steeped in years and decades of crusty game experience that you need that newness to kind of get any more more, that dopamine rush anymore And and the new stuff is fresh: it’s not cliched, it’s not old hat, it’s not boring, then taking the existing Dungeons and Dragons domains and alignments.
That’s a good place to start, and so you can go all right either. I’m going to take the domains that exist in 5th edition, dungeon, dragons or whatever game I’m using and create gods based on those. So there’s going to be a god of war, god of light or whatever or whatever, that mischievous guy, mischievous god knowledge, etc, etc. Or maybe the alignment chart you’ve got at least one for each alignment, or maybe others, and that all the very least you have a baseline there.
That’s one way to do it and, if you’re looking for something quick, if you’re looking for something easy, if you’re looking for something that’s a low barrier of entry for your players, you don’t want to overload them with lore or you want to leave the door open For them to interject their own war, for those classes or for those players who are playing divine classes, then maybe that’s the way that you go and – and you don’t have to spend a ton of time on it.
You just give it some thought present it to the players they’re going to run with most of it, you’ll fill in the gaps there, but you’re just sort of done: you’re, assigning names and they’re moving on yeah. That’s one way of doing it and if speed is good, if you’re looking for something, that’s more traditional, that’s the way to go, but if you’re looking for something different, you want something unique.
You want something that that’s tailor-made to your setting, then you’re going to have to homebrew and you’re going to have to the gods of the setting that you need based on whatever criteria you think is appropriate and then, if there are any holes in the game, mechanics You’re going to have to create your own domain and you’re going to have to create your own game rules to fill in that gap I mean, if you need them right, like I mean it’s like, if you see it as the DM, like, oh there’s, a hole There, but if nobody’s playing a cleric that needs that right, then why worry about it right, yeah until it’s necessary and then you bring it up.
An example of this would be something like I’m looking for a game world that has a polytheism that I recognized from ro from like the ancient Mediterranean and and I’m thinking here, something that’s more along like not necessarily like the Greek city-states with their patron gods. But more like the Fertile Crescent and in that era, where it’s like there’s a and yeah they’ve got like each city has its own deity and part of warfare is like stealing that God from the city, because it’s going to steal the you know the power of That city, let’s make that fantastic, yeah and now I might have each nation or people or polity – that’s in the world – might have a god that backs them up, but those gods might not map on to the existing divine domains.
And so I might chop up to the domains and make then rearrange the abilities within them so that they fit the you know the new Pantheon that I’m creating. I might homebrew some content and say, like you know, this is the city state and there’s a goddess here that rules over it, knowledge isn’t quite working for me here. War isn’t quite working for me here, but I’m going to come up with something that that’ll work for me yeah.
This is something about being a dungeon master that when it I find personally, is the most frustrating for me as a internet, Dungeons and Dragons personality, because I look at home brewing content as you go nuts right there. Is there your no barriers here, there’s no wrong answers, there’s! No! Whatever there are things that won’t work for your table yeah, but unless it’s a catastrophic Games, chances are unbalanced.
Homebrew is not going to ruin one session of your game, and if it is the you need to take a step back and talk to your players about what’s going on why this game element is ruining it, but creating your own homebrew content is just you just Do it you don’t need my approval, you don’t need the approval of the deity designers, you just do it well, I mean, if you’re talking about like concepts for like deities that might just totally destroy a setting.
Remember that people, even in the real world when it comes to religions, have accepted some crazy. I mean to go back to the Mediterranean. There I mean the big thing about inky and in Yana, and all that is inky goes down to the tigris-euphrates and-and-and Skeets won out and that’s how you have those rivers right, as that’s literally from the the girding of his loins in the fruit of his loins. There’s a lot there’s so much like there’s like a bodily fluid.
That’s what I’m saying is like you got to go pretty far, do people go whoa, whoa, whoa yeah and it’s sort of like taking the ancient Mediterranean in the ancient ancient Mesopotamia as as sort of our our archetypes for this, because I do, I think that those Analogs in our own, real world are better suited for the type of gaming with Dungeons and Dragons is, as opposed to medieval history. I don’t know that medieval history is a good historical example to you, and ancient history is a huge period of time right, but taking those models and mapping them on that means that your Pantheon czar, local and particular and idiosyncratic – and it’s not like yeah the Lysander – That they worship over in the Northeast is the same as a little painter.
They worship in the southwest yeah. It’s like franchising right like a franchise. I’m a Donald, that’s what I mean when I say that they’re, a collection of like micro, monotheism’s and then in baseline D & D. You’ve just got these. It’s it’s like! Okay, ima! I follow this one God it’s the same everywhere I go. There’s no division! There’s! No conflict, there’s no particularity to it. It’s just is it’s easy is what it is.
Yes, it’s a low barrier to entry. I find it so uninspiring and I would much rather have a a collection of just like well. This is this city’s God, and then this god is the god of the river and maybe there’s a really powerful God that that has control over something. You know that’s very influential, but there’s a mix match and they’re all related to one another or interact with each other in some way.
A good example that I use for this, sometimes, if there’s a role-playing game that came out gosh 10 or 12 years ago, now, Artesia Adventures in the known world right. What I’m talking about it’s based on a comic book series Artesia, is cancelled and I have no idea what’s happening to it anyway. It’s one of my favorite comic book series and one of my favorite games, even though I’ve never really had a chance to run it.
The whole world is created by this founding mythology and there’s a goddess and her daughters are, you know, Sheba gets daughters and they beget offspring and their offspring begets more and eventually mortals into the picture, and some of the offspring are monsters and the interaction between the Offspring and and the mortals creates the ages of this world, and you can see as you’re reading sort of the history of this world up to the present day.
The interaction of the gods, both in intensity and like early on they’re, really intends and the gods are everywhere – mortals – are interacting with them and then over time, mortals becoming the driving factor in history and the gods receding, but the impact of those gods actions are there. I like using it – and I like, using it as an example because it’s very tightly focused all of the gods – are bound in with each other.
There’s not that many of them and everything that exists in the setting has its origin at some point with a god. Either an offspring of one of the gods or goddesses, that’s there or it was created as an interaction between like okay. Well, this demigod stole the Sun at one point and took the Sun into the underworld. So it’s just like a very well thought-out example of how to present a fantasy Pantheon that has the hallmarks of real world religion, but is is definitely fantastical and and it’s one of those things where, if you get your hands on a copy of this book or Some of the the trade paperbacks that are out there for the comic book series like understanding a bit about this fantasy Pantheon.
For me, it was like setting my brain on fire with like I was calling my god here are all the things you can do. The thing that gets me about a lot of fantasy Pantheon’s is that it because they’re imported from our own history, they carry artifacts with them that I’m not sure it’s like. Would these gods have grown up naturally, in this fantasy environment? Here like it seems like that, there are other types of gods that would come about as opposed to ones that came about in our own real world right, like the big one that I’m thinking of the big example of this, for me, is real or the Lord Of Light from Song of Ice and Fire, this is a god that is harsh.
What it wants is a little murky right. What are we doing other than obedience yeah? It seems that what it wants, obey obey and deny your other gods right, deny the Seven deny or others etc. But the message that that that phrase, the night is dark and full of terrors to me describes every Dungeons and Dragons world that exists. The night is dark and there’s a monster manual, full of terrifying creatures, many of which have dark vision interactive at night like.
Why is there not a god or a deity of some kind, particularly if you have gods that are overarching that are present from region to region that have a consistent and non localized presence? Why wouldn’t you have a guy? That’s basically like yeah. I fight monsters. I’m here to fight monsters, I will keep you safe from monsters. I am here to you know, to fight all of the things that go bump in the night.
Yeah burn it away with my purifying light burn it away with my purifying light or our allies in shadow that we use. You know to fight the enemies of darkness, know that kind of because, as we know, there would be no shadow without life, there wouldn’t be right and that’s what makes it interesting. That’s what makes as a faith, makes it interesting and go from one dimensional and adds depth and complexity to it.
The Dungeons & Dragons world seems to me, like there’s all these little gods of each race right, there’s the orc gods and the nolo gods and the goblin gods and the whatever. What if you took all those monster manual, all the monsters in the monster mountain you you ignore the lore, that’s that’s already in there and you rewrite that monster manual to be like these are the offspring of deities. Right, like all of these monsters in here, come from somewhere someone birth to them or created them or brought them to life.
You could create a pantheon in which you create an intricate web that incorporates the mantra manual and your gods, and now it’s like you don’t just go say: fight and Griffin and Griffin is the offspring of this particular deity. That controls this particular thing and harming a Griffin will analog out uses is historical, Tiamat, yeah, a creature or goddess that that sort of is, is angry at the mortals who slay her her children and Abzu.
Her husband, I believe, is like slain like Gilgamesh. Maybe it’s been a while, since I’ve read the Epic of Gilgamesh, but there’s just this kind of like the sense that Tia montt is was fine until a bunch of mortals started messing with her yard, getting their yard, making a bunch of noise coming up in her Business sort of their nap right and then it awakens the chaos dragon right. That is to you, mom.
So that’s another kind of thing, and so, when you’re, looking at your campaign world, you know you’ve made this thing. You’ve got this all laid out. You’ve got your countries and your whatever and when it comes to looking at the gods of your setting, are the gods that are suggested in The Player’s Handbook working for my setting mm-hmm. If they do great, if they don’t making ones up that are integrated and fit within your campaign, setting is a very satisfying experience and then you can present that information to players, and it makes them feel like the campaign world – is much more alive and and and Realized yeah and I mean – and you know everybody typically has like gods, but like aren’t there other ways to kind of express that divine power, like I mean they’re, like hero gods like a Warhammer, even mortals that kind of rise up to the right hood or just Different kinds of like divine power that manifests that maybe it’s not a straight-up God yeah with a with a place waiting for you when you died right right with a home in the outer Plains, yeah Celestials, as intervenors yeah, I feel like a heroes and hero cults – Are one and these would be sort of like in D & D terms, these would be like epic level characters, who’ve transcended mortal limits, but are not yet gods, but maybe a really high level warrior in your campaign world that died a long time ago.
Has a cult following of people that are devoted to them that that take the practice. Is that this that this warrior wrote down or or their exploits and like form a cult based around? And it’s not quite religious, but it’s definitely not just like a fan club. Maybe there are mystery religions in which the adherents have to under grow certain. You know secret initiation, rites and understand secret knowledge about the world.
In order to be inducted into these into these mysteries, there are demigods and gods of cities. You know a god of a river or a mountain or forest little dog Ling’s, that are powerful spirits, that they didn’t have at a location or a place, or something like that. Those are all ways of interjecting, a vibrant world, of the divine into your campaign. Without having to resort to you know, zeus not knock off zeus up and knock off mount olympus.
You know not doing anything interesting, the divine community of your game as something more than just that bog standard, fantasy pantheon means that first off your tailoring it to the campaign world deepening your own campaign setting and when the players finally interact with something like that. You have something that’s fleshed out, that’s different than new. You might be showing them something new that they haven’t seen before, letting them interact with something different and you’ll create moments in your campaign where, before your players might look like, i’m not really care about.
What’s going on with this church or temple or whatever, by having something different and making it weird and unusual and and fitting with your game and not just taking the standard, that’s there you create an opportunity to make a really memorable element of your setting. Come to life and and presenting it to your players and saying like here’s, something different, i’m offering up as a way to you know, do something different with your character or help me create something new for the world that we’re playing in right.
In the book of revelations here for you gods, how does it all end? What do you I mean? What what’s that? What’s the you got a founding myth, you should have a apocalypse myth, certainly like a founding myth having these other things about how the world is going to end, how the guys would participate in that. What are the role of mortals in that end of the world? Is it a conflagration that ends in Oblivion, or is it a change of cycle a period of turmoil before the new thing happens? Is it prophesied? Is it something that the players can stop or or influence in some way? I think it’s just as enriching to to talk to think about like the end of your world, of your campaigns world and the role that the gods play in it as it is the beginning of the world and how the gods, God creates dinosaurs.
God destroys dinosaurs, God creates man, man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs. Women inherit the earth.
We got brand man Sean in the building, he’s a marketing maverick. I call him a GI, I think he’s a genius, you know and bi, and I don’t say that I don’t say that lightly. I’ve been following Brandon Sean on YouTube for quite some time now, and I’ve even had value and kind of following him and really, you know, seeing tips that he’s given artists these day.
So Sean talked to the people. Welcome to the crib how’s everything man what’s up? What’s up man, everything is great, I’m glad to be home. I appreciate you having me on your platform, then of course man, of course man and you have been helping countless artists for years now. So I wanted to you, know kind of get. You know you want to show to kind of talk to. You know talk to you about like your journey and like how you actually got to this point because you’re in a you’re in a you know really dope spot in your career right now, because you just launched brandman ramen Network yeah.
As far as on this end, like you’re in it definitely in adult place, so I want to start from YouTube. So when did you start your YouTube blog I’ll start? Here I had a music festival that had been running for about three years annually, bringing about a thousand people out, and we had grown that that took a lot of energy. We grew it from 0 to 1000 that first 1,000 pretty much with no money spent on marketing, but just understanding and hacking, algorithms on Instagram and all that kind of good stuff at the time.
But you know that’s what I do right on and then some real world promotions as well and in that time I’ve always been around artists and helping out artists, branding consulting things of that nature. But I had it put so much more energy into a lot of other things that I was working in, that it was just a area I was giving value in without making it a priority in terms of my own personal business, but then in the law, when We decided to not do the festival for a period of time, and there were some artists that I was working with hoping to build their brands.
But you know artists keep their creative walls at a certain point right. Anybody who’s that ii-i’ve never considered myself a manager, but anybody who’s been through a management experience right or even a lot of artists would be familiar with a period where artists are going for it going for or trying to gather some things. But the actions never add up or and for whatever reason, and then on top of that they want to reinvent themselves right so mm-hmm I was working all the most, the closest I was working on a day-to-day or, let’s just say, we’d do week more so with Artists, they had even taken a break, and I mean in that period I had so many people continue to come to me for advice, because people would hear about the things that I’ll be helping.
Other people execute. So it was all very, very much so a word-of-mouth, and he got to the point where I was like you know. What let me just do this on YouTube, because I was in a period where I was taking a break from all that other stuff, and I was doing so much for other people. I said you know: okay, let me well what can I do? That’ll be interesting on my in my extra time and then I came up with I: did it try doing YouTube? I did YouTube really just to answer people’s questions right like so.
I don’t have to answer them over to over again break him down his detail. My maramures articles, like that Betty article yeah right, I was like just breaking down conceptually so then. If I show people ask me a question, I could say: hey man check this article out and it was very much that I wasn’t super heavily thinking. I want to be this YouTube guy or anything like that. My yo man, I kind of helped some folks out.
People always tell me that artists need a platform to learn some stuff from. I don’t know everything, but I just, but I know what I like to talk about and what I know. So let me share some of that stuff and that’s kind of where it came off and once I started seeing the energy right and the way people were a rallying around a thing. I even had like this one girl that I had like a crush on like way back in, like middle school high school, she was like my forever credit back in school.
She she like commented on that article of like oh, my gosh. This is amazing, like this is going to go viral now, but even that was like a little inspiration. I like shit, okay, but that’s a little random stuff at that time, man cuz. It wasn’t supposed to be a business or anything like that. But man – that’s man, like the kind of here like how that that whole thing transpire and it really started from you doing tactics from the promotion of the festival.
Would you say that? Because I tell artists this all the time – and I tell people that actually want to work with artists dis all the time, and I tell them there’s no way you’re going to learn how to be a manager. There’s no way that you’re going to be able to know how to market your music unless you have hands-on experience doing it, like you know, like just perfect example like someone, that’s wanting to be a manager, like I say, hey, like you’re, going to have to know Every you know every aspect of the business you’re going to have to do it hands-on before you, you get thrown into working with someone.
So would you say that you’re, like one of the ways that it helped you kind of branch off and kind of learn, a stuff that you you’ve learned was because you were doing it hands on at first with the festival? Would you say that that’s true yeah man I mean because it wasn’t even just the best of what, like I said, I’ve been advising artists and one way or another for a period of time, even if the festival came about, I always been around it and doing It whether it was small projects helping some friends or some other folks that heard about me and then a festival, though, like that especially a project on that scale.
It just it just helps, fine-tune things and I think it’s better to be able to have certain experiences from different categories, because then you can codify them into whatever you’re going into right. If you do survive to just settle on just marketing, you settle on just management. Olette, ever for a period of time, like all those experiences, especially in music, are transferable. Like the festival, I got a sense of you know, attitudes of or at you know the whole different point like usually I’m just helping them and blah blah blah like blah blah blah.
But now I get to see the other side where artists are looking at me. As a lick and had a approach from that standpoint, but then also the lack of professionalism with so many artists and even bigger than that which really helped my my blog was just the perspective that artists take right and then I could see the things that they’re Lacking in or their the expectations they have versus the reality of what it’s like.
You know what I mean, so I I was able to get fine-tune on both sides. Definitely understanding the professional side definitely understands other other side, because once I have those two and then a couple live with so my brother, he was a Grammy nominated, was just a part of a collective that was, they were Grammy nominated. So that’s. You know one thing that I learned was when I was because I was technically not even in music.
At this time I was like I wouldn’t take call myself in music. I was actually kind of trying to run away from it, but that’s a whole nother story. A marketing has like that. Yeah, like I said, that’s another story, but when I heard he was nominated right and he was still living the life that he was living, I had to do some math right. I was mad at things up just the way. I think I’m very logical and I was like, if don’t makes it right exactly based on the perspective you have growing up like you, Grammy nominated.
Oh, that’s like life-changing you you reach more, you know whatever typical childish fantasies or things you might associate with a lot of those titles and what I saw that you know like, and I like the news hat. It was lucky and fortunate for me to have that perspective before I even went into it seriously. Cuz I was like oh man like this stuff ain’t real. You know I mean, on top of a lot of my experiences working in just other projects and industries and things like that.
Those life, not even numbers, don’t make sense. I already understood heavily like, like growth, hacking with marketing how to like completely measure. What’s true and what’s not what’s the source of where the true impact is coming from, so all those things I’ll, just like yellow a lot of this stuff that people think it is. This is the same right. You know. How can I help people understand that y’all are far off didn’t so the music in the entertainment industry and the entertainment industry is all about.
You know the in front of the curtain in the behind the curtain. Yeah and all people see is in front of the curtain like that guy behind the curtain is a beat that would get people messed up so true, so that’s so I’m glad you actually broke that down, because that means that you had like that was that spark That kind of told you like, hey, like it’s something, not adding up, what’s what’s happening, so I’m glad you broke that down, because I think a lot of people have a misconception and I think people, especially obviously listeners like listeners, have no idea how, like most listeners, Don’t have no idea how the music business works and then there’s a lot of artists that come in and they don’t know how the music business works and they – and you know what’s crazy, is – and I know you experienced this a lot you might meet with an Artist that has been in a game for almost a bit in a game but, like you know, has been recording and releasing music for years, but they don’t know how publishing works.
So they don’t know how certain things work. So it’s kind of crazy how misinformed both people on the outside and in are within the game. So I want to ask you: I want to ask you something: um, what’s one of your biggest frustration with artists today, ooh, because I know you you, you actually talk with a lot of artists all the time. So it’s like. I know that there’s some common thread that frustrates you about how they think or what they do was one of those things that you would say that frustrates you most about about artists coming up today I would say: entitlement, hmm, and especially not knowing and being able To see their own entitlement makes it even worse, exactly man that you know what, when I was when I was thinking about that question, I didn’t even like that’s not one of the first things that I thought about, but man you’re right that is crazy, so yeah.
So tell me like, because I know on you, I was looking at your YouTube blog, and I saw that, like you are very animated about not managing artists like what’s one of the things that would that that’s that’s kind of shying you away from managing artists um. One there’s a lot of responsibility straight up to take over some my eyes: that’s that’s what it essentially is: yeah you’re, a parent or like, oh, you wouldn’t you know.
Well, no, unfortunately, many managers end up becoming a parent. That’s right, you’re, right right, and that comes from some of those other things, an Indian title, male artist. As a matter of fact, I have a perspective well now I’ll get to that in a second, but so, but like just having to really push people along right. Some artists are being dragged over the finish line. This is supposed to be your dream for you and you need to push you every step of the way you don’t want to work.
You just want to be in a studio and a lot of that, but comes from them, not understanding that it’s so much more than their talents right, so that that’s one perspective just from from that. But then literally just the responsibility of it right and me not feeling it personally, I’m not in a position where I can do that. I can count on you. Yeah understand through probably like a shower ring more than anything for me to have something like that.
Just because, like not only him, he are you putting all this trust on me to oversee your life. I’m really especially if this will happen, started to come late. For my come up, I’m putting everything on YouTube. Yeah! You know that’s a tough relationship to meet, so it would have to be so so so so right and I also believe what I could, but there was a path that I started to take. That was very management oriented, I’m also like label exact opportunity or unit.
But then I started to recognize the opportunity for what I’m doing right now, exactly the YouTube and and that other side, and it makes so much more sense. For Who, I am how I think and being able to impact multiple people at scale and provide resources and connections and proper information, as opposed to just holding on to one situation, because also, once I start down that path in a lot of ways like certain offers Or jobs like that just creates a certain conflict of interest right.
I correct can’t be working with this place and then dropping all these article of the day. Talking about such a special things like yelled, like bro, what you doing so like that created the space as well honestly but um, but yeah like just back specific to the management. It’s like that. What the artists, like that whole trust relationship, um thing, and even that I thought of that just I would love to have more of a sense of my own system.
I always say maybe for one. If I had kids, I once I go through that, I might, it might make it easier for me to like have an artist yeah yeah I’d be more into that mentality, but then even bigger than that, like continuing to build right and be patient with my own Path and career, where maybe one day I might run into a talent and then I’m like yo. I really believe in this talent. You know maybe fact-check them a little bit, make sure they got.
It got the character and all those things in place, but then say you know what how many place where I know such-and-such, I know such-and-such, I know, such-and-such i-i have such and such amount of money. Nowhere. Let me guide this situation, maybe at least something to this point yeah I got you and I can still not do that without being a manager right through these, it’s like it’s a professional world in general.
There’s all these set paths there’s been, and not only did it not match up with my personality once I started to get a feel for, because I’ve been around some really dope news in terms of like managers, I’m like. Oh, it’s different managers like when you see adult one then less. You know like. I don’t be like this among all the data. That’s not me, but I do this thing as much or even more than he would do know like, and I’m all about finding my space but yeah like understanding that traditional path that was in the industry, it’s not just for artists, it’s for the professionals as well.
They don’t, I don’t think it’s talked about enough on the professional side that it’s just it’s open for the professionals to do whatever they want to do and pave new lanes as it is for the artists, you’re, 100 % right yeah – that that’s one thing and really Just to bring it back full circle because I know I mentioned – I would touch on this earlier part of that whole entitlement. That artists have, I truly believe, is only a symptom of really the industry itself.
The industry made it that way. It enable artists to have a certain type of behavior and be entitled in and to like, feel like Yousaf, but you’re supposed to serve me when you’re they serve your audiences right. It’s not all about you, yeah yeah right, because that’s that same mentality, right that kept them from wanting to seek other things like ownership in their own stuff, right. We and we enable them.
We sue them so now, they’re in a space where they’re good their whole world feels like it’s about them until the money runs out and they realize the label controls everything. The label has all the access that our data to the fans, the label. You know what I mean like: has the ongoing world sees an income or or the majority of it right, they’ve been doing all the business while we’ve been having you you’re thinking, it’s all about you, you’re enabled and like that back environment I think, was very beneficial For the whole yeah, I you know what I speak it for you to actually say that, like that’s kind of what’s crazy is, is that because I’m in the business in you know – and I have a certain kind of viewpoint on things and it’s dope to kind Of hear that, because I really never thought about that, like I never thought about how you like you know – and I agree with you – I think there’s a lot of things that happen or you know the industry it did allow.
You know, as far as if it to actually have to know it’s it this way, so I want to get I’m going to I’m going to get some more of your takes on this we’re going to go into it’s into the mix and tell me real quick. What was something some some music that you listening to right now, yeah the last thing on this side I’ll say the last artist that I heard recently that struck a chord will be with the artist by the name, a yellow pain, ye ll, Oh pain.
And yes, he has a couple of songs worth checking out: okay, okay, okay, that’s! What’s up okay, it’s good to know cuz, like obviously you’re you’re, when you’re, when you’re on youtube, if you’re you’re very unbiased. So it’s like you know. You actually mentioned artists. In a case study type of scenario, but never on the music side, so I’m going to get some more of your music thing. When we get back you’re tuned into the crib on radio, we got brand man Sean and the building will be back to him.
After this mix, let’s go and we are back and the crib we’re still talking with brand man. Sean he’s dropping knowledge, and I and I hope, the artist that’s tuned in. I hope they actually are really kind of soaking it in and obviously anybody that’s unfamiliar with your blog to go check out the interviews and all of the the content that you actually have on your Wii on your YouTube, blog um. Speaking of interviews, I want to ask you about the interviews, because you’ve had like a lot of dope interviews when windy day, you’ve been interviewed, you it’s.
It’s is so many people that, if that I’ve actually been able to kind of get so much information from, and so many people that I’ve never heard of before, but you know that I was able to actually get knowledge from. So tell me some of your favorite. Just just a few of your favorite interviews, and maybe some for like something that they one of the gems that they drop one of the interviews with key J Chapman, an EOB event, manager, awesome managers, clap Becca and one of the gems that I really enjoy.
In that interview was actually just him talking about diversity, Bo beads, uppers, mm-hm and the reason and the way that so much but is because man I hear every single artist always talking about they want to be Ivers these days, I’m not verse. I want to be like this and that and and that’s just what, because now it’s become a cool thing right, mm-hmm B, I use into everything I don’t like you know.
Everybody thinks that not true of like for like 99.9 % of people, but everybody thinks and desire to be there, but I always tried to paint the picture of just from a business standpoint, a logical, practical standpoint. It’s hard to just come out. The gate be diverse, and even if you do it takes a lot of struggles, so TJ having Bo be as an artist one of the most truly diverse artists, not saying the other are design the ability but put on a large scale of success in multiple different.
Like type sounding categories, he walked through really how gob can win a lot of times when it comes to dropping a song like one part of his audience will hate it. At least one part is saw, our audience will hate every single song. I come at it hard because it’s so they’re so diverse, alright, because maybe song he’s audiences around these different songs and makes it hard to me. You were in some waves where you know you have your favorite artists and they might have a song sometimes like.
Are they doing that other thing over there? I’m not feeling that or this song ain’t for me, but literally the OB is going back and forth between both sides of his fan base. We need to sell out. You know like zag, that extreme and really I mean there’s more than just two sides to his fan base, so just really the fact that he was able to like for real opinion out like use case wide. This is what how hard it is on the end that that was interesting and then Ryan Leslie, when I never yeah.
That was a big one, yeah yeah, that was dope, and I I love it when it comes down to it. I just say I love the fact that he talked about the power relationships connections, the fact that he thought he was supposed to be. You know this is most talented musician. There was in the world, you know. I me on some prints playing 27 instruments type stuff, and that was why you got so good. He thought that was the way to get in, but then he realized music weather wasn’t a meritocracy right.
I’m part of that escaping from the childhood fantasy of what is life. You know I mean realizing that you know. There’s talent, that’s a portion of it where’s the music business, so there’s a capital portion of it, there’s a connections portion of it and then just handling the business from the execution team cause. You know that there really encompasses the whole thing but slow from realizing that and then realizing the value of relationships, and he has a formula where he basically speaks on the be.
The potency of the relationship depends on two things, which is proximity and frequency, which is simply how close am I to you right, like physically yeah right? How often do you see you physically and then? How often do we come in contact right like how closely, and how often do we come in contact, of course, because of Technology you can hack some of that through, like oh, we just need text. Often are we talking upon everyday? We FaceTime some of that, but even if you think about how many relationships you gain just because you work together or you went to school together, where they normally probably wouldn’t have happened, all right.
True in the fact that he’s building technology around keeping that experience at scale nothing interesting and I like – and I love the fact that he kind of broke it down into a formula because it’s so relevant. It’s one of those things we sleep on and just sound good. If CLE, it’s like cliche the power of relationships and things like that, and now you to people around your network is your net worth all that stuff is cliche.
However, cliches get repeated a lot because police say is have some truth in it, and people tend to ignore the common sense truths for the execution of the hardest part. So I love the fact they broke that down into the distance this concise formula most definitely so. I wan na I wanted to talk to you about the brand man network noun like as far as the so I wan na. I want you to tell the listeners what the brand man network is and the benefits of joining the network.
Alright, so number one brand man network is a platform that connects artists with the community and our resources to help them develop their brand and build their fan base. Those are the two primary things. That’s the focus we want to help you get your brand fine-tuned, though I give you a brand. We have one workshop in there where alright you’ll have a brand. It’s going to get you like nice, real nice, and you already have a pretty dope Frank brand.
I guarantee you, your brand will still be sharper coming out of the other internet workshop and then the rest of it is also once again helping provide tools and resources to actually help them. Build a print of a fan base right, nothing, real practically real fan base, and we do that in a few ways right. We have their workshops, as I talked about right and even just some hardcore like courses, because we want to help them be able to do this for themselves.
The New Age right has all these independents coming up and for independent to be able to be successful. They’re going to need a couple things which is pretty much the same thing even going to a label when the artist with me, which is connections, capital and proper information right and, of course, as an independent. You don’t have access to the label which can expedite your connections right, though the label, you borrow connections, you borrow capital, basically all those things that you need even borrow information, so we’re providing those things where like amen like.
If you have a team, your team needs to sign up, and everybody needs to be on the same page. Have access to this information, because your marketing guy needs to know how to market music specifically on Facebook Ads, we have okay, we got that we got. Facebook. Add course we’re building out the YouTube one right now, but it’s not just even those general courses like I said, they’re specific workshops and I promise you this is different than of course this is different than reading YouTube articles like it.
You can read two years of my youtube articles or just random information online, and you probably wouldn’t make as much progress as four months going through these workshop series. So it’s guided versus I readed a YouTube article and I’m trying to take in this random information. I’m trying to figure out where this this tip works in my own process. We help guide you to a more specific process and even help provide some systems.
Then another thing and then so so you have that of course, less workshop yeah from private articles. That can be online because sometimes you know people just can’t talk about such stuff on a youtube level exam or then there’s some other things that are just exclusive, because it’s easier to go deeper in that platform versus YouTube. Where, sometimes, you honestly have to talk about some trivial things just to keep people attention and then one of the best things most valuable things are weekly Q & A with real people right hopping on calls, and you can talk to me currently so, like you know, A little bit about me right, I’ve worked with artists in several, you know, yeah.
I worked an artist in multiple genres and I got some like a tech background. Helped build some companies to the point where they are. They get millions raising capital and things of that nature. I just just helped not not the guys but of and then – and you have people like currently goggle goes by the name of co-lead to savior. That’s his online Instagram like Korea’s favor and Cory digital marketers, spot Spotify, playlist expert as clients of festival, co-founder one of the founding members doing doing his thing heavily as well.
Either people that do it. You have Russ, be he’s no longer idling records for that Island Records for Goodman and has been it desperate Jam. He is a GM of rap fest and he’s doing some account management for big social media for some pretty big artists right now. So these are my real people that you get to talk to and that’s just currently and at the beginning of the network. We aren’t even that deep in there you’re going to they’re going to be a lot of other people.
You have resources coming real soon, whether it’s resources they’re offering to the network that you’ll have access to for free all these things or whether it’s uh them actually being someone. You can talk to from a call. Alright, there’s a there so so so much come coming into the network. We’re only like five six weeks out to be honest and design, there’s so many things. I can’t talk about completely just so you know you got ta, get things all on the dotted line, but there’s a lot of value coming into the network, and this is the way I like to look at it.
Just I talked about a lot of things. I want to summarize it you have a article space exclusive articles, trust me, there’s they’re, not just regular, I’m on YouTube articles. They go deeper or a touch on things that you don’t hear. People touch on other places, including me on my youtube blog consultations. Basically, with the live Q & A were you high point to talk to people like you can get in context, it’s not like I’m typing in my youtube comment and hoping they answer my question and they don’t even know how deep my situation goes.
I’m talking about a player’s music, pull up your Instagram profile, alright, what’s going on, what did your manager say? What’s like, we go back and forth for real for real article chat style and then and of course, its face alone has an extreme value, because it’s guided and it’s touching all these Facebook courses and things like that that people charge thousands for, but going all the Way back to just the consultation piece alone right right now, I’m going for about $ 350 to be transparent.
Is that right, mom – and I was doing this discounting for a period for like $ 100 Brian. Even you want to go to that low right $ 100. Is for an hour and what you might have this happened to one artist. We got on a consultation, potentially real dope, guy love what he had going on. He was part of a brand session too, and we went through all this information and God is playing right, but then probably like two three days after the call, he had a big company reached out to him and you know he wanted to know what was up And blah blah blah, but he didn’t have the money for the consultation you get up both because stuff can change so fast changed so fast new opportunities for newer artists, more important, if just a one-off call, because you know when you have so many things that you Need to do like, like there’s just too many factors and too much stuff that can change things more important to just one one I’ll call not to say that we want a one-off consultation having no value it.
Can it’s like more valuable net is ongoing guidance. So four, instead of $ 100 for one hour right, five months of access to brandman Network for that same price, and in that five months you can talk to Shawn weekly, you know brand man, Shawn weekly, you could talk to Russ B, Cole, Reid and, like multiple Times an artist in five weeks, I’ve probably been on seen them in, like 1012 calls already like the leveraging.
I can’t be. I can’t be mad, you know using the resources and using as much as possible and they’re, giving it to me every single thing and I can keep updating. Oh man census. Last time we talked this happened right. I couldn’t do that for for like a cheaper price things that were like full 101 on face. I couldn’t talk to a lot of people in a lot of faces because it wouldn’t it wouldn’t make sense or be worth my time, but this is about.
How do I create an environment where artists can get as much support and much access as possible right without it not being a charity? You don’t really exactly know. I totally get you, and – and this is this is dope so so question I just want to get just so cuz. I know there’s going to be a lot of artists that are going to you know, ask about the actual payment structure. So is the payment structure for the brand man network monthly and they pay by the year? Can they pay by ten months like how does that the the payment structure work right now, it’s only available in monthly payment structure on it.
Looking you know by the time. Some people get on and check it out, it might be a year and monthly. That’s all the goal is to add a yearly payment structure as well just in case people want to do that and of course, you know, usually the yearly payment structure. It gives a little bit of discount off the monthly price as a whole, but right now it’s just monthly. As of this conversation, god I got, I got it, okay, so most definitely so this is my thing.
Anybody any artists. Listening out there like there is a lot of value. What Sean is bringing like and to be honest with you, I don’t know anybody on the top of my head. That is doing what Sean is doing. So you guys make sure you head over to bran Man Network com2, to check this guy cuz. I mean what you’re doing is so valuable because and that’s kind of why I wanted to have you on the show too cuz.
I wanted to know because they I get a lot of people in my team’s saying. You know they want to get a shot they want. You know they want to have had me hear the music. They want me to manage them. They want me to do whatever, but it’s it’s one of those things where it’s just like. I don’t really don’t have the time you know to you know, have a situation where I can work with everybody. I want to work with as many talented people as possible, but I don’t have the opportunity to do so.
So I think what you’re doing is is dope because you understood that. Okay, you know what these these one-off consultations aren’t really and – and you know it’s crazy – you could have kept doing the exact same structure with the consultations and I feel like and correct me if I’m wrong, but you actually switched it up because you want to help More people and you want to be more of a help, instead of being a situation where it’s just, you are just taking people’s money and I’m not saying that you weren’t yet that you that that’s what you were doing before.
But you want to help as many people as possible and spread it out. Am I right amen? Look you. You got some kind of intuition man, but you you read that perfectly perfect for that cuz I could tell, and that means that cuz, like you know, there’s a lot of people in this business there’s their sleazy there they’re like they just are about the money, and I could tell it’s not about just the money with you.
It’s you really. You really care about the art of the music. You really care about. Just you know everything overall, so it like people got ta. Understand that you know. People like you in this industry is few and far between, like this there’s, not really a huge amount of there’s, not a lot of people in the business. Like you, you know cuz, like there’s a lot of people that day they come in, they come out and you know they just really in it for that quick book because they see how much money is coming in the game.
So with that being said, man, I hats off to you. I have another question for you before we go. What’s one of the things that you think is going to happen in the industry three years from now or you know, that’s coming that hasn’t come yet, but what’s one of the things that that are that’s in the industry that people should be looking out for right Now, all right, so there’s multiple facets of this alright, so one I should be able to say this part.
Pretty short sweet is just the rise of the middle class artist or the livable wage artist. All right already we’re in some sense, but I think it hasn’t really calcified in people’s minds that being an artist doesn’t necessarily mean being Rihanna or being something big stars. Yeah millionaire good. Now, because of all these resources and the lower overhead in the access we’re now. But I have a lot of artists that I mean they’re, making $ 30,000 a year $ 50,000 a year as an artist, and so many people – that’s was failure, but you know my question is: if would you rather be an artist making $ 50,000 a year or Would you rather be doing some job that you hate for $ 50,000 or $ 60,000 a year? True right, so that’s one thing: that’s going to change people, people artists are really going to start to take on that mentality and some of them some of them, are going to actually accept that mentality and even start thinking of it as a way of okay.
I’m doing this, I’m a livable wage artist, but then of course, just like a regular professional career, you start to work your way up, though, say: okay, I’m working this job. I got entry level, but by year ten you know I want to be the CEO or I want to be an exec. So a lot of artists will say: okay, I’m going to focus on this first level, I’m good with this with Carlos, but I still enjoy figure out.
Oh, but move my way up, but that in some ways will create a sense of a bubble, at least mentally. In in the industry, just from an artist standpoint now I don’t know how much it’ll affect the actual industry actual industry. I don’t that uh yeah, I don’t. I don’t know all right, particularly when you talk about the more formalized labeling on our stuff. I think they’ll be good, but from just the mentality of a lot of these people who are wanting to be an artist just to be an artist or I think it’s cool.
You know I mean like there’ll, be a bubble burst more personally individually, so it won’t hurt the industry. I don’t believe in much, but it will hurt. You start to see a lot of individuals kind of like this other dude, who you know where it comes out. Oh you’re getting money from this and you weren’t artists, you were you, know, supposedly allegedly scamming money and things like that right to push your career long, so it’ll be a lot of people or and even influencers in general, where it’s like their life is not adding Up with what they think it should be, or other people think it should be in that that part will be exposed.
On the other hand, because of this more formalization and professional outlook, that a lot of artists have and as the industry starts to mature, there’s going to be more formalized structures on the independent in serving them not just from a distribution standpoint. But even things like Brandon networked artists will be more comfortable with the idea of paying for their education outside of school, which is just a more you know.
That’s like a whole different game, that’s being sold to artists right but David when are to think about music. They say: oh man, you know, I see the artists popping they’re blowing up and they’re doing it off of a viral article, which obviously we know that a lot of these articles are viral by design. Not by just luck, correct artists will stop thinking and seeing that they’ll start to say no I’ll, invest in my education.
This way. In the same way, I would invest in the school and that’s part of the reason for brandman network right they’ll be more of things similar in that direction. There already are some like that are similar or serving different audience in different pockets right, but artists aren’t really ready for it. Yet because I hear artists all the time saying I can get this information out here for free, like what’s the point of doing this.
Other thing you don’t know they information this quality, I mean all right board service level. It’s even it is deep. You don’t know how to apply it to yourself, yeah any guys. What soccer ball to you like me, reading about like all these books on how to be a CEO and out how the business is irrelevant? You know I mean like or meat or all these things on operations, but I’m doing marketing and branding over here and I’m not involved in it.
It’s just like. Okay now, you know a lot of stuff that you can’t move or anything and apply it to yourself. So you more structures that help artists do that at scale. I think will come because it’s something that isn’t needed, especially when something bout, the education system, education, traditionally college, they don’t serve artists, that’s rude! A bit! Don’t serve parties right at all like these music things, business courses and things like that, if anything, those are more designed for the music exact right, where I want to go work at a label and from a worker side than an artist.
Sorry, a rapper side. No there’s no college. I guarantee you trying to figure out how to build out their curriculum to better their lives and increase its chances of success for a rapper. You get a percent 100 percent, 100 percent man you’re a hundred percent right last thing. I, like it’s crazy, cuz like we could, and I think I might have you have to have you come back on the show again, just to kind of drop some more gems.
Oh especially once you know you once the website gets a lot more steam and so forth. Question well, what’s one piece of advice that every artist needs to understand if they’re really trying to be serious in this business? What’s the one piece of advice you could give to somebody right now before they jump on brandman network.Com to actually sign up? What’s one of the pieces of advice you got for me, I would say nobody owes you anything hmm.
Now diana has a good one. I say that not to be like Jennifer’s like general or sound good. I say this because, truly as an artist, I promise you it would apply to you in many situations where you reach out to somebody, and you think that they should reply. It starts to feel a certain way. Trust me, the type of everybody in the industry period at some point and probably still having to people that you think are successful, that are reaching out to people or Tyler or think or have some expectations of people and, as the actions are what’s happening, isn’t aligned With that a lot of times that slows people down what you have to do is sometimes I get to get to the point where you know I’m going to keep moving forward with garlis and not not over index from what I think other people should do.
For me, not only because you know you need to do so for line and all that stuff, but a lot of times people get in their feelings, and I mean I say this as in. I feel it all the time I get it where you know you sent out an email. It’s that simple scenario and you think somebody’s going to reply. You feel like somebody’s ignoring you or you feel like. Oh someone saw your DM, but there’s so many other cases.
I know I do it the people where I might be looking. I might open up a DM man that questions lady burn. I’ve got a quick chance to answer that and then no now I’m not. When I go back to my dams, I got another 50 other DMS and I’m doing all the other stuff of my life, and I don’t remember right, it’s nothing personal. I just don’t remember I miss it. Oh yeah, I’m trying to get back to you and I like this there’s so many things that aren’t personally used, and so we personalize a lot of stuff cuz ego.
That is security. So if you just remember that people don’t owe you anything in the first place, it’ll help I’ll say that I had one situation. I would say this last thing and in relation to that I had one relation where I was like you know. This girl is super dope, she’s doing her thing and she’s, not even like an artist but she’s in the industry. She does like enemies and things like that. I’m like she’s killing it.
I mean she been consistent for so long and she hasn’t even blown up like a huge scale yet, but she’s still doing it, and I just want to reach out to her and let her know how dope I thought she was mm-hmm. I go into my deep low to DM her and when I be on her, I see she messaged me like two three months prior asking if she could chop it up and like interview me and I’m like oh snap, like I, I missed out her DM.
You know me, I hope she and I and their feelings or anything about that cuz. I know how that goes exactly because I literally because I think she’s dope and I don’t even know if she already tried to reach out to me. That is crazy. It happens. All the time, though, like way more the right either like it just have it all the time going both ways. So it’s hard that that ego thing is your was going to move in when it comes to moving and dealing with so many people, man, that’s the des Invalides, like I said man, it’s definitely a pleasure chopping it up with you.
You know I could I I always get a sense of people that are coming at this business. You know with with a genuine heart and not really coming in, like oh, how much money can I make how much money can I make so I can kind of do the next thing. So I my hat’s off to you, man and, like I said I want to continue to support what you’re doing so. Please keep me in the loop with everything you got going whenever you’re about the launch of next arm of your of your business.
Let me know I would love to have you come in to talk to the people because, like I said, I have a lot of artists that actually listen to the show because they want to either get that music played or whatever the case might be, and I Think this information is going to be the super super valuable format. So thank you so much for actually coming on the show, any anything that you want to tell tell the people.
Okay. Well, first, what small thing that thing you say about delivering with you know a genuine heart. I appreciate that. I definitely try to approach things that way and not just be an outfit for the bag, so I can’t say I’m not about, but not like you know. I am about getting my money. I believe everybody should be a concern and treated fairly more important than just the genuine heart is the ability to like okay, say: if I’m going to do this, for you I’m going to deliver on it, for you he’s going to do it with integrity.
I might be doing it just for the money, but if I do it I’m going to do it, do it right, that’s more important. We need more of those people in Hinch and life in general when it comes to following me, brand man pran be man in a n. You can find on my youtube blog. I encourage you heavily to check out brand man network com. The goal is not just to get the information, but also see how you can apply to information to you, execute that information and actually change the level that you’re at with that information, and that’s an alignment with what we’re trying to do and help artists with and Brand men that we’re cops go check that out and other than that you’ll find everything else that I’m connected to through that through those things.
Man, like I said, thank you so much for stopping by the crib. You guys have been listening to the crib. If you are an artist and you found this information, valuable make sure you hit them up, let them know you know if you get up in his dm’s, don’t be mad if you don’t respond quickly, but just make sure if you really want that one-on-one contact make Sure you sign up and join brand man network like I can personally vouch for it, because I you know when somebody that’s been in the business for as long as I have.
I don’t know everything, but I know when people know what they’re talking about and Shawn does so make sure you guys check them out once again. Thank you so much Shawn for stopping by as far as on a crib and getting give us a giving us a call, we really appreciate it and you’ve been tuned into the crib on radio. Let’s go remember check us out every Sunday we’re at a new Tom, we’re on at Eastern Time 9:00 p.
M. And we’re on Pacific time 6 p.M. So make sure you go check us out every Sunday with that being said,
How did you manage to break through? So it’s not stopping you, but maybe enhancing the stuff that you actually do. I think one of the things that I always struggled with is that, from the visual standpoint like I’m, not a super talented visual designer I’ve seen some amazing visual designers that I’m just like. Oh, my goodness like that is really really slick, and I love that and that’s not like my strengths, and so I was a lot came back more from like the coding or a perspective being able to actually implement some stuff in code which they couldn’t.
But you know there was this kind of this deciding factor realizing. Am I more of a designer or more of a developer like you know, I’m not necessarily that great at graphics, but there’s still so many other ways of design that can kind of spread in so really like doing some research and finding about more about UX design And realizing that is really kind of wondered what I wanted to focus on, it’s kind of what led me to that.
So it’s definitely was this kind of process of navigating through it’s like. Where do I fit in my designer and my developer, were you know from the first projects that I started doing you know a lot of time? I did a lot of websites and when people come to you, they go hey. We need a website built, they don’t necessarily say hey. We need some front-end developer to come and come do this, especially if you’re working with smaller businesses and clients.
So you do take on the designer and developer hat to kind of make that happen. A lot of developers are very afraid to learn about design. It’s like, as I get question question like if I was to write an article, the perfect article for the developers would be how to how to learn to design or how do you, then, which makes no sense to me, because learning to design doesn’t really mean anything. It’s just like what part of design you know what discipline of design but there’s still that question of okay.
What is the first step? That’s someone who wants to really as someone who’s gone through this process yourself. What was your first step to say? Okay, that’s it! I’m becoming a designer right, I think you know following a lot of design patterns at that time. I didn’t really understand that they were called design patterns right. You kind of you implement them in the site’s doing a lot of web work.
You kind of take on okay, the navigation menu. Where does that live and you’re following a lot of the patterns that have already been created, and so you kind of learn to explore through that, and then you know, testing out the site and realizing. Oh, this doesn’t feel right like something’s off, let’s, let’s work on how to make this better, but I think one of the the great things that can really help designer or developers wanting to go into design is looking a lot of like the material spec guidelines.
They’re. Actually really really helpful, because not only does it actually tell you hey here’s some guidelines of what to follow, but it actually doesn’t really got a good job of explaining. Why you’re doing that yeah exactly so. That actually is really helpful because then you’re able to understand. Why was this created like what was the thought process behind, adding potentially a bottom navigation, or why would you have a side side nav? You know it’s it’s really getting to kind of explaining that so you’re able to learn from learn from actually interacting with something and seeing how they’re doing it, but also getting finding out why they decided to do that, because I think well so much of design is Some it’s problem solving right, so so many people forget that when I think of design they think of the finished product, but there’s so many different stages of how you got to that finished product.
And so a lot of it being able to understand how someone was thinking through that really really helps you from a development perspective get into that design field of understanding. Okay, how do I get from thinking of? How do I develop this versus? How do I even arrive to the solution? I think that’s the that’s kind of the big difference there as developers. You know you have something. That’s already designed for you.
For the most part, I mean some people get handed things. Some people get handed an ios mock and said: hey make this and make this into android. So then, at that time you kind of become an Android design. In that aspect, what you think is like the biggest thing that stops developers really understanding design. One of the things that we do at Google is we do design sprints, so the design Sprint’s are really great because it brings people from all the different disciplines and such leads together to work into solving a challenge that we have.
You know. So you have product managers, engineers, designers, researchers, everyone in the room together and kind of thinking and working through a problem which is really fantastic because you get all these different ideas and one of the things that I really notice is where, as we’re bringing in designers, You know and engineers, and all these people together is when we’re walking through the challenge.
The engineers are already thinking of the solution, yeah and already thinking about how to implement it. They go straight to that which makes sense that that is their role right as engineers. Usually, you are given something and you have to go. Oh, how do i, how do I make this happen? How do like thinking through problem solving how to actually get to that solution where, as designers, we don’t know what the solution necessarily is? So I think a lot of the blockers is automatically wanting to know the answer yeah, instead of being more aware and being okay with saying you know, I don’t know the answer to that, but let’s let’s explore it together, yeah, so I think that’s the biggest hindrance That can really stop developers and to getting into design.
It is wanting to have all the answers. It’s it’s okay, not to have them I mean, and what do you think developers can actually do to get past? That I mean because I find like for me. It’s way sketching and just experimenting, and so I suppose, is how does the developer maintain that kind of playful space where they’re, not thinking right, here’s the library we’re going to use to do like or whatever widget or fab or whatever? But what can they actually do that allows them to to not thinking about like the end result or breaking from that cycle? Yeah, you actually bring up a great point with sketching.
That’s probably one of my favorite exercises when I’m working with different people to get them thinking of solutions. So if you’re developing an app or so is hey, let’s get some sketches out there get a sharpie and just start sketching out through some ideas, because that really that doesn’t you can really get some ideas on paper and not be merry to them. You know and not feel like really connected, because you spent all this time developing the solution and realizing.
Oh, it doesn’t really work, and so, if you start really low fidelity with some sketches that can really open up your mind in terms of thinking about different solutions. Because as you’re sketching through it you’re realizing, oh like maybe I want to use this fab button or something everyone loves fab right, so you want to incorporate it somewhere and then you realize hmm, maybe that’s not the right thing to do and I haven’t spent all This energy developing or even designing this, so then I can kind of toss that and move on and create a different solution.
So sketching, I think, is a great resource. Instead of people go straight, a lot of people like to prototype in the code, but I usually like to challenge people and go hey start, sketching some ideas and then once you’ve landed on something that you think you want to explore. Some more then dive into code or dive into sketch or whatever your you’re using. So I suppose for the engineer to really understand design.
It’s almost like okay, just start sketching first and start thinking about the thing you’re going to build and the possibilities, rather then straight to the in solution. One of the things I really noticed there was the way really good designers responded to constraints. You know you think about: I don’t like black and white photography or jewtown prints, whatever their responses to restrictions on the medium
Everybody goes oh when I start to talk about this, but it’s something that can really change your life. I just wrote a post about this on my website and I of course use long tail keywords in my keywords. So Google SEO things like that.
So let’s talk about at 40,000 feet what longtail keywords are because there was a gal in a Facebook group. The other day and she had written a post and I’m going to say I’m using my friend barb grassy as my goat, that she’s the book loss and she helps writers. She helps edit book. She helps coach writers, she’s except successful author herself, and so I figure if barb doesn’t know how to do SEO. Longtail SEO, then, who does so longtail SEO means kind of you’re going to go for the shortest version of the biggest keyword you can pick? Okay, so I’ll give you an example from my site when I started my website years ago, I was trying to rank for real estate marketing and or let’s go back to marketing right like I was trying to rank for marketing and there’s no way, I’m going to Rank in Google for the term marketing because there’s a lot more bigger sites that can rank for that, but even real estate marketing.
You know if you do a search for real estate marketing, because marketing people do marketing there’s um million there’s over 1 billion results for real estate marketing, okay, and so I I knew I to do some other things. That would help me rank for longer. Tail keywords like real estate, marketing marketing to a farm, real estate, marketing, funny realtor postcards real estate marketing how to get your first listing like those are all longer terms now.
Would I use real estate marketing every single time heck? No, I would say marketing your real estate business, how to succeed at real estate at your real estate, marketing how Realtors well you’re not supposed to use Realtors. I got in trouble for that one. You got to read your chart, your trademark keyword terms, but so real estate marketing. So you have real estate marketing strategy tools, ideas.
So then you can go even longer right, so real if real estate marketing was your logging. It like your shortest long-term keyword, then you would add things on the end, so we’re going to go with Barb’s and we’re going to yell at her. So I found this on her site. How do I start my book and I’m sure that this is super super interesting to her people, and I love that she’s answering a question that her readership or the people that she meets in public or her coaching clients house.
So this is probably I do this too. I’m like okay, I get to ask this question a thousand times. I want to answer this question. How do I start my book, but from a standpoint of Google, if you go and figure out, I use a tool called ubersuggest, it’s free and what they do. Is they pull in the Google search volume? So I did a search for how do I start my book and this was closest to it. How do I begin to write a book so for D and then, let’s see if we have how to start, how do I start a book? Thirty? How do I start my book ten? So those are searches per month, so I wan na help barb get right.
So that’s excellent! That’s going to be like part of her title, but we need to get her longer like more search volume. Keywords in her long tail. So, let’s, let’s sort this by search volume, can we search it by search flight filter results? Oh find keywords within search results. That’s awesome! Oh, and it’s an order by search form. It is in order by search volume, okay, so uh, okay. So how to write a book? How to write a book is our very, very, very best volume, 40,000 searches a month.
So we got how I’m going to write little notes over here right, I’m going to do this, how to write a book. So now, let’s find out from Google how competitive that search term is because probably other people know about it: how to write a book right how to write a book. There’s a 64 million different how to write a book results, and that is, if you put the quotations around it, it forces you to it forces Google to just look up in that exact order right.
So if we took them off so there’s a million how to write a books, there’s a billion how to write a book results, so we can’t really probably compete with that very well right. So, let’s add a word nonfiction right: how to write enough fiction book. How to write a nonfiction book now we’re down to 54 million results, which is still a lot, admittedly, but there’s only a hundred and sixteen thousand how to write a nonfiction book.
So we went from billions to hundreds of thousands, so I would say we could start with how to write a non-fiction book right whoa. We could do write a nonfiction book how to so. We just moved our how-to over how to get started right just by changing that. How do I start my book right like? How do I start? My book is not good, but how do write a nonfiction book now, let’s see uber, suggests write a nonfiction book.
It’s Lincoln it’s thinking now, isn’t this fun the best two seconds to figure this out a nonfiction book? Oh start it right. We want to filter it by words that have right in it how to write a book. So that was our 40,000 book. I write a novel: how to write an e-book, how to write a book, so we still have our how to write a book, how to write a book now. Is it an order right so she may want to. This.
Is it this is where it gets super exciting how to write a book for nonfiction authors right? She may want to write a big giant post. That is all about how to write a book for nonfiction authors right. So here’s my thing: this would be her bullseye. So this would be how to write a book for nonfiction authors. That is just blatantly going after the highest level of SEO longtail keyword that we think we can get.
Then she would say, write a nonfiction book how to get started. That would be one of these supporting posts. She would link back to that. She has other she’s other posts that are titled poorly, that we will go look at. She has a lot of words here, she’s writer, so she can. She can write some words. Girlfriend doesn’t have a problem with that choose one: how long should you book B so then she would do a writing non-fiction.
How long should your book be, which is slightly different right, writing nonfiction, is different from write. A nonfiction book people ask me all the time. So if I get a longtail keyword, should I do that one over and over and over again – and the answer is no like – that would be the most boring thing and you would only be trying to get that one tiny, long-term keyword search, let’s see what I Don’t want to know what shoes one is except the worst title ever Barbara Grassi.
You know I love you. Okay, write a book. He had ideas for as a marketing tool. Okay, so this is kind of about marketing. So we’re going to say, writing a nun. Now we got write a nonfiction book, write, nonfiction, writing, nonfiction and writing a non-fiction book to market your business right, and so now we have our three posts that we can try to get to how to write a book for nonfiction authors right and as we do More and more content with those longtail keywords on our website or on our blog most people have a wordpress or maybe a square skate space at this point.
But as you write more and more of those, you will go up so in my first example where I was telling you minis talking to us in my first example when I was telling you about my how to marketing to a farm or how to you know, Do a funny, realtor, postcards and stuff like that, what happened was I wrote enough different posts that were about real estate marketing? That, eventually, Google began to give me credit, but in the meantime I got Google traffic from those littler posts and my blog started to grow and I started to gain Authority.
So that is how you do. Longtail research in a super super easy to step way. Hoover suggests find a better search term that has more searches and then do a search on Google to find out what kind of results they get. Oh, I forgot one more thing: ooh. This is very exciting, so you can also do this. So if you say nonfiction, I don’t think it’s going to be in there. I think we got to do nonfiction, author Association, nonfiction authors, but let’s say right oops.
If I could type I would be unstoppable, oh shoot. Now we have to I’m glad that happened, though. So because I did that write a nonfiction book search, we need to do a incognito window, so I’m on a Mac. So I do control shift to control, shift command and just look up non opening on an incognito women window. So we’re going to go. Google right and then we’re going to say, write a book in a month in 30 days, so obviously, obviously there’s a lot of quickness around like that would be some good topics.
You could use right ain’t, let’s see what happens if we do nonfiction book outline. Oh, my gosh. She could do a an outline business plan. That’s nonprofit business plan. So let’s see write a nonfiction book fast, there’s fast again, it seems to be writing a nut seed. Now this is where now we’re crossing over to the other word. So we went from write to writing writing a nonfiction book for the first time.
That’s a really good one, and so, as you do this you’re going to be able to find these things in Google and just start writing them down. Everybody wants to make this so hard. Google tells us exactly how to do it, and this is how I do my research. Now I have all kinds of expensive keyword tools. I love SEM rush with the rest of us. I love you know the Google Keyword planner, but nowadays you can really start to get those super high level keywords right from Google just from showing the search and then doing a little research so hopefully helps Tara, Jacobsen marketing artfully.

Developing a good relationship with the target market is essential for brand management. Tangible elements of brand management include the product itself, look price, the packaging, etc. The intangible elements are the experience that the consumer has had with the brand and also the relationship that they have with that brand.
A brand manager would oversee all of these things in 2001, hislop define branding as the process of creating a relationship or a connection between a company’s product and emotional perception of the customer for the purpose of generating segregation among competition and building loyalty among customers in 2004 And 2008 capper and Keller, respectively defined it as a fulfillment in customer expectations and consistent customer satisfaction.
Brand management is a function of marketing that uses special techniques in order to increase the perceived value of a product, see brand equity based on the aims of the established marketing strategy. Brand management enables the price of products to grow and builds loyal customers through positive associations and images, or a strong awareness of the brand brand management is the process of identifying the core value of a particular brand and reflecting the core value among the targeted customers in Modern terms brand could be corporate product service or person.
Brand management build brand credibility and credible brands only can build brand loyalty bounce back from circumstantial crisis and can benefit from price sensitive customers. Brand orientation refers to the degree to which the organization values, brands and it’s practices are oriented towards building brand capabilities. It is a deliberate approach to working with brands, both internally and externally.
The most important driving force behind this increased interest in strong brands is the accelerating pace of globalization. This has resulted in an ever tougher competitive situation on many markets. A product superiority is in itself no longer sufficient to guarantee its success. The fast pace of technological development and the increased speed with which imitations turn up on the market have dramatically shortened product life cycles.
The consequence is that a product related competitive advantage is soon risk being transformed into competitive prerequisites. For this reason, increasing numbers of companies are looking for other more enduring competitive tools such as brands. Brand management aims to create an emotional connection between products, companies and their customers, and constituents. Brand managers may try to control the brand image brand managers create strategies to convert a suspect to prospect prospect to buyer buyer to customer and customer to brand advocates.
Even though social media has changed the tactics of marketing brands, its primary goals remains the same to attract and retain customers. However, companies have now experienced a new challenge with the introduction of social media. This change is finding the right balance between empowering customers to spread. The word about the brand through viral platforms, while still controlling the company’s own core strategic marketing goals.
Word-Of-Mouth marketing via social media falls under the category of viral marketing, which broadly describes any strategies as encourages individuals to propagate the message, thus creating the potential for exponential growth. In the messages, exposure and influence basic forms of Ness are seen when a customer makes a statement about a product or company or endorses a brand. This marketing technique allows users to spread the word on the brand, which creates exposure for the company because of this brands have become interested in exploring or using social media for commercial benefit.

Will you learn how to make money with either job today we’re going to talk about make sure we get there. We want it. How to move product in 2017 got a lot of stuff, that’s happening and we’re going to reorient the blog and the discussion towards marketing. I woke up this morning and I was going to do another stream, but I saw this pop in and I was like hey.
Let’s talk about this also during the live stream, only there’s a 75 % off for 30 days 2500, because I’ll get questions about hey. What do you have that can help me do this and that’s the course that can help you do that, so, let’s jump into it. First of all, your marketing must be embedded in your product, that was that mean before you get your product before you make your product before you discover your product and all those other stuff.
You need to make sure that the market exists and put in the elements and factors and things that you have to communicate to sell that product. Now, I’m going to go way way back way before 30 days to 2500. I’m going to the way back. This was with Craigslist, I used to sit in the warehouse and I would pay attention to people who would come in we’re doing a lot of furniture, we’re selling a lot of furniture.
In this. I will see people no look at their body language. You know like I like this, but they wouldn’t buy. No, it was just sitting there like, and I start asking them questions like. Why won’t you buy it’s clear that you like it? You need that you came here. You got in your car. You spent money on gas to get here and that’s just I can’t get it home, hmm and so what I did was I changed. My marketing price includes delivery on anything over 300 bucks, washer and dryer sofa loveseat whatever, and I always bundle it together to make it worth the while of hiring that delivery and I embedded the delivery guys cost in the product, because I was getting stuff out.
Storage units – I remember – selling a bedroom set for $ 850 in the unit cost me 200 bucks. There was plenty of margin in the deal to hire someone to make sure it was delivered properly, set up and everything. So once I embedded that in the marketing I didn’t change my copy, I’m changing the ads and I changed nothing else. I just put that in the copy in the advertisement, sales went up 75 %, so your marketing has to be embedded and whatever you know.
I have these thoughts and you know people come in here when I said no eBay in the Amazon. You can’t make a lot of money on Amazon yeah. Can you make millions on Amazon and eBay yeah? But the thing is, you can never build a brand on those sites and you can never get to that long-term wealth, so you’ll be forever chasing your tail and you’ll never be building something that you can stack up year and year after year after year after year Year, you can’t do that.
You just can’t and I don’t like some people – don’t care, but a lot of articles I put up about that stuff. They’ve all come true and there’s a lot more to come. Let’s see what we have, we have Diana we’ve got our Ben we’ve got Benjamin morning morning, Cedric there’s a book. You recommend on marketing yes, 30 days to 2500. That’s what I recommend for people who are reading this blog, who listen to the messaging who come here? Who are interested in Marcus, see the thing is many people will read the book, then we’ll tell you why 30 days to 2500, which is 75 % off only during the stream, will help you many people Hartman lies business which hurts them all right.
You want to get a book on marketing, let’s say you already have a business and you want to go out and get this book on marketing and you’ll go on Amazon and you’ll. Read the reviews they’re doing really well and people love it, and then you get the book. You read the book, you apply the stuff, but it doesn’t work for you now why there are certain elements that should have happened before you got the book to see.
This is one of the reasons as an educator as something that’s training courses we’ve been doing this for years. It puzzles me, and it de-stresses me that I’ll have one person who’s doing really really well and then I’ll have another person who is sucking ass and I’m asking what is missing and part of it is missing. Is this one person who will get this course will be in a position where it can help them? Then another person will be like at that beginner stage and they’ll get overwhelmed and you know with a book.
So the thing is you’ve got to work. All of these things in tandem – and you got to put it together, because if you don’t you’re not going to get the results that you want and with today’s stream marketing three words marketing marketing marketing, if you can become really proficient with marketing, you can sell a Lot of stuff, as I’m talking about and uncivilized profits, we’re getting into the deep pathology and psychology of how you sell your product or service or brand to an audience, and often it’s not what you think it is it’s just not it’s just not what you think It is because we think in a very linear stance, terms of if I do X, Y & Z, I’m going to yield this result when people have not changed since we’ve been walking around on this planet.
Our pathology, our behaviors, have not changed. Technology has changed. Quite a bit, but we as people and how we interact with each other and stuff that hasn’t changed. So that’s why you go ahead and read like older books about people and it’s still very relevant or someone to post something on Facebook written in like 1906. That rings very true today, because we as people have not changed, we haven’t like to think we have.
Our society has changed. Our technology has changed. How we govern has changed, how we treat people in our society. That’s changed, but at our core who we are has not all right. So the first thing is with marketing is: when you create your product or service, you must ask yourself how many people would buy this and part of that asking is establishing the products establishing the service and going to the marketplace.
This is why you know you’re sitting around writing a business plan for maybe a year to is ridiculous because Travis who started Boober, that’s what he did he didn’t. I have he had the app he went to all these limousine companies and he said: hey sell me X, amount of space and I’ll pay. You, you know, send me an invoice and I’m pay at the end of the month, and he worked on that for two years in a beta testing mode to get the information to go back and create the real business plan.
Part of that experimentation and doing things like that is going to yield information esoteric information. You will not get any other way you just won’t so part of that is. You got to do some work and this this is the thing that just so hard for people, because there’s this scarcity mindset, there’s just limited mindset. Belief of, if I put forth this and this and this I’m going to lose, or if I put forth this and this and this and it does not work out, I have lost and the reality is.
If you put forth effort – and you can do some experimentation – you get feedback that you normally would not have and that’s valuable, that’s very, very valuable. It’s extremely valuable when we got in the chat room Raquelle morning diana morning, welcome to teaching rocks, share, live hey. This is new thing. What we’re talking about here is marketing we’re not talking about my business, because everybody wants to know what my numbers of stuff are.
I am NOT quote the regular internet marketer, I’m not going to show you my tax returns and show you fake-ass screenshots. The questions have to be geared toward marketing. So when someone later comes and reades this, then we’re all on the marketing tip and also that kind of information you got to pay. You got to pay for a baby. You got to pay for. What’s the saying the game is sold, not told all right now lift the marketing deal and let’s just go ahead and say you know people ask me these questions like why I do what I do.
I spend 70 percent of my time creating marketing stuff. That’s how important this let’s go way way back to the upscale garage, so my job was logistics, project, procurement, marketing and a few other things, but those two main goals. So when I would go out to a unit and I was buy, I was buying for certain streams that were already established like one of the big problems we had, and this is how you embed your marketing.
One of the big problems we had was trash trash was stuff that could be sold, but it piled up so damn quick, we couldn’t sell. It went throw the way because we had all this low dollar, merchandise, toasters, microwaves, clothes, small televisions, bikes and it was just like every week. I could count on getting X amount of microwaves. I could count on getting small televisions. I could count on getting to 3,000 pieces of clothing every week, so I would go out because I created the dollar space and I would advertise that to my Mexican Hispanic brothers.
I was like hey homie amigo amigo amigo me too me too me too. Whatever it depends because there’s different things how they respond and that’s like hey, go, tell your friends and this bags free for you. So I had a whole economy and that’s what I talk about in these articles screen your own economy that I had a group of people that I knew. If I got to the three thousand pieces of new dollar stuff, I was going to get fifteen hundred two or three thousand dollars from that income stream, because I bought and marketed for that stream.
I knew a lot of people weren’t with them. I knew what soon as people walked in the warehouse where they were going, what they were going to buy, then that’s that was part of the marketing and embedding and buying and stuff any tips on how to target a specific demographic to market. To yes in uncivilized profit, we’re talking about that. Essentially, you’ve got to do some research this. This is the whole thing.
I’m going to tell you the truth here. You can’t do all of your research on line. You do a good bit, but you’ve got to do research, identify the market and test the market. So it’s not really a matter of finding them. It’s a matter of saying, hey. I think that these people would buy my product. You creates a product and you test it on a small scale and then, if it works out, you scale it up. If it doesn’t work out, you find that no the market or you tweak your language, so you’ve got to go out and pick something.
This is the thing everyone wants, like I’m going to give you the top ones weight loss. Number one beauty is high fitness insurance well how to get rich. There’s ten, I don’t. I know it’s like ten top markets. Demographics that could just exist. You’re super huge and that’s why all these guys get into so just do a little research like what are the top ten and niches online. Well, the top fifty you’ll find that stuff this.
If you increase something to sell it to them, how the create a good marketing plan number one, you find the market and you start talking to them and ask them what they want. How do I implement into a service business, including marketing to my pricing? You got to talk to people, you got to sit down and ask them like when they’re at your car wash you got ta like pull aside and actually have a conversation, because this is one of the things that many proprietors and business owners don’t do, because there’s I’ll tell you, sir: it was a place they’ll used to get my car washed and there’s another place that I get my car wash now.
The other place is more expensive, we’re talking about like three dollars, but still it’s more expensive and I have to kind of go out of my way to go there the place that I go to now, the owner. Every time I go in there he actually talks to me another place. I was just a number so as a business owner, if you sit down and like really start talking to people you’re going to get this information that you can help you and that would be Benjamin.
How do you make money I sell stuff, I’m used to all the parts busily trying to take it online. Okay, this is the thing with auto parts. Unless, here here’s the discovery mechanism for you who needs used, auto parts, people would use cars where people will use cards you find where they are. That’s where you market those doing YouTube, comments and forum marketing, still work for marketing. I’ve never done for marketing.
So I can’t really give you an honest assessment. I think this is my thing with the comment marketing in the foreign market. If you’re talking about like someone was like, I find it highly annoying on this blog, where, if first it used to be, they would post like hey guys, project x6 797. I made 500 bucks a week. Most people ignore that and the thing that they started to do is when someone leaves a favorable comment.
They respond as if they’re a regular person, and I don’t think it works. That’s just me now, I’m not out spinning all this money and I’m not having these people post thousands and thousands of comments across life. So I don’t have a frame of reference on that. I just find it very, very annoying any tips for eBay nope how to test, implement and sell a product in your local area, and that would be Adrienne Casanova.
Be more specific. I’m not trying to be an asshole, but I have no idea what you’re talking about you’d be talking about anything you all products, don’t have the same mechanism of testing and delivery if service business, its physical product, business, its educate, it’s influencer, there’s so many different things. So, where the notifications for these live streams, you know that’s puzzling, because some people give them YouTube on the delivery mechanism, that’s kind of broken, but what I’m going to start doing since this seems to be consistent, because other thing that I used it works sometimes and Sometimes it don’t work, I’m going to start emailing.
I think I put out that threat what products would sell and where to sell. Okay, you’re asking me to do a whole lot of research for you. You got to go online and figure out what you want to sell and do that hard work yourself. Do you still think it’s room for uber like business nope? That’s just me. I don’t think that you can be Travis. They’ve literally are around the world. They’ve got two billion bucks in the bank and that you know I could be wrong, but if you’re going to do a liberal like business, you need to be having tens of millions of dollars to get McCain.
That’s just my opinion. I could be wrong. I put one product on offer up for a weekend. Oh my god. I find offer up to be very much like Craigslist. When I was moving. I sold a lot of stuff. I sold most of my stuff on nextdoor.Com, which is a local. You got to have a house, I don’t think they do apartments. You got to have a house, but essentially by zip codes. You create these little communities and I would think, there’s some recommendations.
There’s the classified section and I sold a lot of stuff on next door. I sold a lot of stuff on Facebook, then sell that much on offer up. I actually sold one lamp on the offer up and I sold the rest on Craigslist, so it’s real real interesting how that works out, but with marketing you’ve got to think about it. This way marketing is solving problems. Think of it like this, not thinking of it as how do I sell this? One of the reasons that I do these things is – and this is before Trump became president-elect – is the way that the world is moving.
Jobs are disappearing, especially what I call simple jobs: jobs where you don’t have to have a lot of experience and pay a decent wage. Those jobs are gone, and I found my estimations as many people will be forced to become business owners. Now I want to they’ll just be forster and cedar, don’t survive. So that’s why the weather offer up gets a lot of faster responses, but to sell rate is much lower.
I thought it was some. I I’ve got men where’s my phone. I have some stuff. That’s still up right. Someone sent me this these questions. Like five months later, I didn’t even answer. It was just like what the hell are. X1 95, I’m trying to sell. My beats, have my own online store after three years and I’ve made no money. Yet let me tell you why you’ve made no money who buys beats kids or people like me, who do articles and need some background music.
You cannot sell something like get on the general platform. You’ve got to create a community, become part of a community, go and hang out where everybody who wants beats. You know if you you need to like maybe sponsor a rap show or something you need to get to the people who are going to buy the beats or creating music blog and sell a beats on iTunes, Tech, leathercraft. I make and sell leather wallet, slim and color holders burgers.
I do local shows and have a website in each of some marketing currently focused on techies and edie’s every everyday carry on once again. It’s the same thing. You’ve got to find people who want that stuff, and I actually talked to you on the phone and gave you some good advice which you’re not implementing yeah. I remember that Adrian. I want to know how to do research in my local area to find out what people want.
I know that it dependence from an area to area, but I want to know just a basic method: okay, I’ll teach you what I did when I was selling my dirty books, which I sold on Kindle. I did two things, one of them being uncivilized profits. I think another one was, I would be in a restaurant, something I would find a woman who was reading Kindle and us excuse me, you look like you like to read ma’am. I kid you like romance or rather yeah yeah.
Do you mind if I send you something, and would you just give me some feedback, sure that’s what I did locally and when I got enough response on certain stories, that’s what went online and other stuff I threw away. You got to talk to people. I know it’s very antiquated, but it works Mac. Milk, low, skilled jobs are in the process being a thing the past. Yes, they are Tony Carr, one by one you’re going to start selling printers on Amazon.
When I heard you say, build your own site, don’t rely on Amazon, I really bleed it and built monster printers, but I’m having much trouble getting off the ground spending seventy per day on Google Shopping, and I got a one sale since I launched 30 days ago. What thing would you suggest if I do to get off the ground? Okay, who buys printers you got a really look at this printers are very, very unique market, because what Epson and Canon all these printing companies have done is they’d literally give you the printer away for free to induce you to buy the ink and one of the Reasons that I have laser printers because I’m not playing that game, so the pressure itself is pretty much worthless.
Without the ink right, you will probably be doing better to sell ink verses printers. How many articles the data you recommend making per day is just market. A YouTube. Blog depends on your niche. There is no rent. There was no rhyme or reason. There’s some people girl recently. She makes a article a moth. She gets three million views per article. She just started this year. It’s a lot of variables.
There is no do this. Do this? Do this? Do this? It’s not. I know people hope for that, but it’s not and let’s get down to it, I’m marketing right now now, when people look at me and they will go ahead and like okay Glenn is doing that some other day, but part of the reason that it don’t work For you is you don’t have this back-end of I’ve been doing this since 2009? This is not like. I just woke up and started doing this yesterday.
There is a residual effect now with that said. If I want it to stick with resale or I want to talk about eBay and Amazon, I would get way more views. I’d get way more subscribers because that’s what people want I’m just not interested in that ship, because I know the ultimate outcome: FB s cheaper and focus on groups. That’s one way. Another thing is now a lot of stuff and let’s just kind of get down to the nitty-gritty, I am predicating my information to you to make you rich you’re, not getting rich on these other platforms.
I got this email. Where is my phone hold on a second? I’m going to read it to you if I can find it alright did that come apart, no did not okay hold on a second I’m going to read this to you and for those of you who are interested in 30 days 2500. It is 75 % off. Only during the stream once the stream is over that price and goes away all right. Let me find that. Let me I’m going to read this to you because I read this this morning and I think it’s very, very good and will help some of you out and one of the reasons that I I’m just have really moved away from certain things.
Let’s say it’s a tit: oh let’s see someone wrote this about masterminds, which I found interesting, because it’s so closely parallels what I keep hearing specifically. He was talking about certain people joining these high paid masterminds he’s ants who offer crappy products with crappy execution and who’ve. Never done anything other than sell their own 25k masterminds to unsuspecting noobs and can’t deliver.
He got a cold email from a self-professed marketing specialist and a specialist spelt their own name wrong in the forum Phil. And yet, let’s see a lot of shoots are buying because it’s from a girl probably an attractive one, even if it’s a fake person with a fake pitcher, see that all the time and they go and they’re so desperate to talk the girls they’ll respond. It’s amusing to think about, but at the same time I wonder how these jokers get a little way with it.
It reminds me of the scene, the wolf of Wall Street, where Jordan go for, it is getting interviewed for his first job selling penny stocks. He sees the nonsense, penny stocks and being sold and says: hey come on. Who buys this crap the answer he gets well, I mean honestly, mostly Schmucks. They see rats in the back of hustlers and Popular Mechanics and their ads actually say they can get rich, quick laughs.
So, if you’re looking at buying coaching in masterminds, read the scene and read it again, especially the guys lack he’s potentially talking about laughing at you. Yes, my little truly, it’s no different from not at all office of coaching and masterminds, my friend Dan and I were recently laughing at people who think they can get by as coaches in this business long term, just because they have a hot ass, pretty face.
Bubbly Pervin that personality and big boobs or, if they’re, just simply a highly caress charismatic smooth-talking, who can get people swimming with horseshit fluff. That gets people to feels, but do nothing to prepare them to do battle in the marketplace all right, there’s more to it! There’s this guy called Ben civil he’s got this thing called players emails and he actually does what he does see.
The thing is all the stuff I talk about. I have done. I have done, and you know it’s just real different, because many people are caught up in with hustler parlor porn. I don’t want to do the hard work. They don’t want to build real businesses, they just kind of want to skate by and that’s why so many people can’t make money online, because this is work, it is work and they will do it. Well, I’m serious.
It was somebody who was making leather wallets and stuff lives in Arizona. I swear the same thing in same exact thing that you do what happened with the market thing. Were you doing, except in phone calls? That was the thing I’m talking about this whole thing with marketing. I got the information I needed and that’s like. Okay, let me you do it anymore. That’s the stuff! I’m talking about thanks for bringing it up.
I took four I’m putting the number on the blog. I took four hundred calls and asked people a bunch of questions. It was easy it was exhausting, but that’s what you have to do if you want to make real money out here in the real world doing stuff. Alright, let’s see hold on a second I’m going to do something just real quick before I do that hold on a second. Let me get in here. Wait a minute! Wait, a minute yeah! Here we go lots of work, but you can’t give up.
It would pay off uh that offer up is very poor about taking down old listings. You have to delete archive your old listing, seven lots of stuff hold on a minute hold on it. Let’s see uh, I don’t even know how to get in there anymore. I don’t even think I can get in there anymore. It’s been so long all right, let’s see, offer up but yeah. So that’s what happened to that now. Part of this thing is like I said, it’s work, it’s really really work, and there are many people online.
Who will induce you to well tell you that you can do all of this stuff? Make a lot of money very quickly? And it’s just simply not true, and one of the reasons that I get a lot of hate or used to, because it’s really calmed down. And I think, because it changed the message and I start running a bunch of people off is people who have been here on this blog who’ve listened just from the information just from the free information and make money if they did the work and the work includes Marketing and includes talking to people and includes getting on the phone, and I mean it’s a lot of work to be successful, Sheeta bull, she audible.
I want to provide a service assist customers in an automotive field during servicing their vehicles. How do I develop a format to charge for the service I received called Ilia, but I don’t really know exactly what you’re doing that’s confusing now good thing with that is when you ask questions like that, and I’m confused think about what’s happening with your marketing. Think, what’s happening with that service repair quotes used car purchases, I’m working on the app to assist you.
Alright, here’s the three course. Yes, I’m the sell right. You got to find your audience who wants that type of stuff you’re getting calls. So your marketing, I mean the thing – is an app game: you’re going to be spending a lot of money for pay-per-click advertising or you’re, going to have to infiltrate groups or you’re going to have you got to do some creasing buzz? What’s a good marketing strategy for a tire repair shop be close to the road.
You see all right here. Here’s the thing with tire repair shop: nobody is looking for a tire repair until they have a flat tire right. So what you have to do is be so far ahead of that flat tire in terms of your marketing that when their tire is flat, they know that you exist. You got ta create a lot of content about that, our article audio products easier to market and ebooks. Alright, I’m going to say like this: alright, alright, it doesn’t really.
I got a friend who pull out an e-book who’s made like a hundred grand in the last 90 days. It is not quote it the article audio products, it is not the product, it is the audience if there was an audience for red iPhone cases which is Piron orange because of my resolution here and the market was huge, it would just sell it’s not the product, It is the market, I don’t know, that’s one timeout pretty much a whole week for an uncivilised products, profits.
There would be time it’s not evil or audio courses. It is market. They could up market. Forget all those other stuff. Think of the market. Do you ever do any guest posting, none, I’m doing a guest posting a lot of people don’t do what I do, which is one of the reasons that it’s pretty challenging to create partnerships and affiliates and networking and co.Labs, because this is a very different kind of Blog, if you hadn’t know this, so no, I don’t do any of that stuff, maybe in the future, but I’m looking at creating something else.
Now I got a question on rods. Shared life. You come any ask a lot of questions. What exactly are you doing with your business? This is your chance to put out that your thing, so I can direct traffic your way. What exactly do you do? Where are you and how do you do it? So I know there’s like a 30-second delay, but for those of you who are interested in learning the whole components of building a business go see when you market, you can’t market in a silo, and what I mean by that, is you can’t remarketing books without a Product to apply that information and you can’t create a product without an audience to sell to just doesn’t work so for those of you who want that type of stuff during this live stream be sure to get 30 days to $ 2,500 75 % off.
Let’s see what’s going on, it looks like I’m still flawed all right, so I’m going to wrap this thing up in the minute, but it’s all about marketing. Okay, yeah yeah! We haven’t gone too long, but it’s all about marketing and marketing isn’t just doing a YouTube. Article or to putting up a billboard, it’s embedding a message for an audience that you’ve already identified before you created your product.
There’s a company thirty-one signals, they actually create their audience. They look at their audience first before they do anything else, and then they create the literature and copy for the product and test it with the audience before they create the product. Mack milk is hard paradigm shift to think of serving the audience instead of coming up with a product and didn’t having to put together an audience.
It is a hardship, but it’s way more successful, because when you last year I did something – and I had an audience of 450 people in may 3 under grant, because the audience wanted the product, whereas I’ve had stuff where I’ve had exposure, where a lot of people Saw it I talked about it, but the audience wasn’t dialed in and I made like 1,500 bucks, so the audience is really really really really important.
No I’m not doing in the I’m not doing any affiliate marketing program. That’s a job into itself. You got to keep up with stuff people, don’t want to act right. Currently, I’m building a dating relationship, advice, blog fish, it for love and selling the e-book. Now previous, this was good when I started this whole thing. My first thing was a relationship book. I went out I interviewed in person over 200 women close to 300.
I remember there was this seller of this teller. I was at the bank and I was asking this bank it’s okay, I’m writing this relationship book and I won’t know what is your opinion on the current state of relationships? There are no wrong answers. It’s a boolean ominous! I had to extract myself away from this woman that was constantly the deal now, I’m going to tell you why I got halfway through and I changed my mind.
I did not want to be quote the relationship book dude. This is typically a guy who’s. Not married who’s had a lot of issues. You know, and this wasn’t going to be quote a Macbook which would be an audience of men. If you’re going to write a relationship book, you have to cater to women, you have to say things that women want to hear not necessarily the truth, and I’m don’t do this. But I’m going to say, you’ll be better off picking another market because unless you want to be part of sympton you’re not going to make any money with that just being straight up, I saw that in 2009 and there have been some guys who, who was Steve Harvey Hugh Hill Harper, I believe some other people, some other people and everybody other than Harvey – is out the game.
There was a guy who was doing the blog here on YouTube, very personable guy. He quit the blog there’s just not a lot of money in that. Unless you really get on, you know, you got to go on enter on chart. That was that guy. All of these guys got to a certain level, and I can I could say, with a great deal of confidence other than harm another made as much money. As I did selling other stuff, so I was abandon that with a quickness, I’m a friend, a friend and I getting into a business where we can help people get loans by fixing their credit.
And how can I market I promote that Facebook? I keep talking about audience. Nobody seems to hear me, yeah see the story, here’s the thing! If you notice, if you go from now, you can’t see how many subscribers I have if you notice that the article view counts, have come white way down because I’ll stop talking about certain things, I’m making more money now than I did when all this stuff. It’s not how much, how many read your articles? It’s not how big your list is.
It is who the people, who were by that’s what I come to trade on all this other. This is why I call it hustler porn cuz. This got y’all like oh yeah. You know I seen these comments like you should have so many subscribers. I give a about how many subscribers I have. I give a about how many fuse I have I care about people who will spend money. That’s what I care about that. Other stuff is, and many people are starting to see that and starting to act on then they’re.
Just like oh, this is it’s like the kid that story where the emperor has no clothes or The Wizard of Oz. All that doesn’t matter. I focus on conversions and sales, not how many all right I don’t have Twitter. I got Twitter I’ll just with it. I got Instagram I’ll do with them on Facebook, I’m going to do with my Facebook page. I stopped up marketing my business and I just started talking about whatever the that tickles my fancy for that day.
Every now and then I’ll talk about something but social media doesn’t sell as much as you think it does. You know a lot of people who are privy to how real business works. Are waking up to that and know that social media, probably don’t you sell low those things, but who does a cell? What’s the demographic, you know these important questions. What’s the blended marketing you work, I know who my audience is: was an exemple a directing that traffic, for instance, playing a song that my demographics like like in the article or something? No, I wouldn’t play them in these songs.
I will show them cute puppies all day long. I did something for someone where there was a picture of a dog, a little cute puppy of a Datsun with our rope in its mouth, and it did very well images, images, images, images, images, images, images alright, so I’m going to wrap this up. For those of you who are alive, who want to learn how to build businesses, integrate your marketing and sell stuff to people and put the link go under the article hit that 75 % off of 30 days to 2500 because got a balance.
I got to work on some stuff today and I got a few phone calls so with that be sure to subscribe, and if you want notifications to everything that happens, there’s a little bell in the subscribe button hit that and you should be good to go so With that, I’m out
It’s digital education: how to make money online, I’m finally getting around to teaching the things that I do or currently doing, and this is going to be hustlers kung-fu life skills isn’t going anywhere, I’m going to go through what’s happening with that tomorrow. But what I’m going to do is this is going to be my main focus, the rest of the year in 2020.
What this is, because you know there’s so many people who talk about how to make money online and you’ll have an FBA course or you have a how to run ads course, but there is no comprehensive curriculum. That’s going to answer all of your questions, I’m in a click funnels group and I’ll. Just look at all the questions that people are asking and just they just don’t have the comprehensive online education.
So what I’m putting together – and this is from learning from this – this is B school for hustlers. Funny thing is, I created this about three years ago and I created a stripe account for it and the stripe account was still open. So apparently they don’t have a problem with B school for hustlers. So in any case we could get around that. But let me take you through the whole process now this will include an updated version of the art of holding and I’m going to get into that.
So you’ve got two ways to get in there, sixteen hundred one and done and eighteen times 125 per month. So you got two ways to get into here and this pricing is just going to be available while I’m beginning, because once I build out a course and the course is done, then I’m going to raise the price of this, because this is the there’s not much There pricing with more to come so one of the things you know we’re going to do and, let’s see really don’t want to be there.
Let’s do this, let’s go to be school for hustlers, like that. You like that you were the lion, the zebras, the money go, get that money, that’s the world. We live in all right here this. So what we’re going to talk about is this is going to include nine courses. Once again, the courses are not done as these courses come online like how the market and sell on YouTube. That will be a course, and you know it’s not 100 percent ready and how to make more money from broke-dick Danny to paper, see that’s going to be a course, the strategic holding company how to set up and deploy, there’s going to be a ton of information From the art of holding plus additional information going forward, the Google last course how to run successful and profitable ads how to create and sell online courses for fun and profit.
The hustlers mind set course have a change. Your thinking for abundance, I’m going to go deep. There, how to make money with content, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram the money management course how to prep your financial life for happiness and joy and the money game how to play and win. So what you’re going to be doing is getting cuz. I don’t really know how long it’s going to take me to build out all these courses, and you know, need to get rid of that because, because I’m already got I’m adding stuff here and I need to go ahead and change that, because I will have people Trying to get into this, but I’m going to teach you everything you need to know to set up a rugged, durable online business, because one of the things is like with these other courses and they’re good courses – they’re, not bad, but the thing is you’re not giving The full deal you’re not getting a comprehensive, so we’re going to do this, for because I’m going to add more to this to nothing that just get rid of that free.
But essentially this is going to be everything you need to start a successful online business or a collection of online businesses, because the Google ass course cuz. You know I don’t know how to do Facebook ads, but I know how to do Google ads. So I’m going to do a course on that. I know how to sell and create online courses. I’m going to do a course on that. I got the money, management thing and they’ll have that market that sell on YouTube.
Do a course on that: how to make money with content, I’m going to lay out some stuff that you know many people don’t understand, and this is just going to be fun. I could build this out and maybe three months I could build it out in six months, I’m giving myself six months to build this out. So you will have these courses, they will be done, they’ll be available. You will be able to use this information to make money pretty much if you’re, on a payment plan before you pay for this.
I want you to think about that because it’s going to be like an online school, you know and I’m thinking about adding some more stuff to it, and I will say this that if I add any more stuff to it before 2020, that also will be included In the pricing that I put out because there’s some stuff, I’m all because you know I’m thinking this is pretty much it. This is the things that I do. These are the things I know how to do these, the things I make money with and if I add anything else that will be part of this deal and once again the pricing is: there’s not much there.
The money management, how to prep your financial life and happiness and joy – that’s going to be done very quickly, and that’s going to be your first course and what’s going to be different about this, then Hustler’s kung-fu life skills is you’re going to do the money management Course first you’re going to do the hustlers mindset course. Second, then you’re going to do how to make more money from broke-dick Danny to pay per seat.
Third, and then we’re going to get into the strategic holding company. There will be a certain sequence that you will take these courses in when they make sense, because let’s take the money management course, what’s the use in you making money if you’re just going to blow a big willy style, if you’re just going to not properly do What you need to do you you? It’s just you know, you’re going to create more problems for yourself, you go out and you start making more money and you have bad money management habits.
You’re going to like maybe develop a drug dependency problem. Like the article I put on disruptive mail, you may be going out buying hookers and blow and think that’s a good idea where to put the money versus putting the money into long-term asset building processes. So that’s going to be the first course everyone’s going to take that and you get all of this and I will go ahead and stress as I build these out, I’m going to change the price of the offer right.
This pricing is, you, know, cuz, I’m pretty much going to do the hustlers at course. After the money management course, then we’re going to get how to make more money from broke. Dick paper see I’m pretty much going to go through those really quickly. I might get those done before the end of the year and then the strategic holding company I’ve got probably 75 % of the content already. So that’s going to go very fast, so there will be a lot here for you to do, learn and process and begin doing very, very quickly, very, very quickly.
So one of the things that once you guys to understand is for you, folks who are going to take advantage of the payment plan. I made the payment plan very affordable, you’re, going to get all of this stuff before you finish paying. So fortunately, when I do payment plans, I have a very good. You know: high completion rate, most people are on the boat, so I’m going to trust you guys to be honorable and also something else, that’s going to happen now.
This isn’t the t-shirt that isn’t the t-shirt, I’m going to craft a designer and we’re going to come up with a digital citizen, t-shirt and that’s also included in the course it may be a long sleeve. I may do a long sleeve, I’m going to work on that tomorrow, but I feel that this is a welder, rounded curriculum for you to make money online, because I know alive, you don’t want to do YouTube, but I’m telling you the power of YouTube is sick.
I mean you know, let’s just keep the honest, like my main blog ain’t, really doing the YouTube thing, but just on the Adsense, you know level I do 1,500 to 3,000 a month in my blog really ain’t bump in the way that you know cuz. This is the reason I’m starting new blogs cuz. I started one new blog, I’m going to start some more because the algorithm is favoring. New blogs, like you wouldn’t believe, and you know, like disruptive disruptive male – makes consistent money and I’m taking some of the new training that I had and I’m applying it to disruptive mail and I’m starting to see results so in how to make money with content.
We’re going to discuss how to create the right type of content, because you got ta have the right stuff. So this is the New Deal, and this is a combination because I woke up this morning really early and I started working on this and all this happened today. I built this out today. I strategize said I’ve been really really thinking about it. In my mind, I’ve been thinking about it and now that you know it’s fully out of my head, I felt very productive.
I felt very energized. I felt really really good that this thing is done, so this is what’s going to drop. This is what’s going to happen in the link it will be below because you will be taking the money management course there’s already content. There that’s training already there and I’ll get that finished before you can go through the whole course, and we will get this, so this is what it is and if you want to start an online business, you know, like I said, there’s a few other courses.
I’m thinking about doing, but I haven’t committed to them so they’re not there, but if I do at these courses before the in you know, because it will be before the end 20. 20. I will include that in this offer the t-shirt. We will be having webinars that there’s a lot of stuff because, like I’m going back to how I used to do it so we’re going to have webinars where you could come in and ask questions, it will not be live streams on YouTube and we will be Able to chop this up so, like I said I felt very, very productive.
I feel that this is going to be amazing for you, because you know the Google ass course I mean. If you’re going to create any kind of website, you got to learn how to run ads. Yes, you can get organic traffic, but it is super slow and you know getting organic traffic can take years and hands down. Cuz you you will, you will actually start. You know seeing me run ads and stuff, because I’ve got a budget, I’m going to start running ads and I’m going to do a course after I get to running this so and you know how to create and sell online courses for fun and profit.
That’s going to be a winning class, so there’s a ton of value here for you. If you want to start an online business and for those folks who don’t want the whole thing as each course gets built out, then that will be made available to you and it ain’t going to be cheap, like your best bang is to get on the payment Plan or to get the $ 1,600 deal now, that’s your best deal. Alright. This is Glendon and we’ll see you guys later.
If you want to be part of this experience, this monumental educational experience, the link is below so with that I’ll talk to you guys later,

Well, a lot of my peers around the country are going to be here as good opportunity to get together with them sometime we like to share ideas, and the programming is a really different from anything I’ve been to before. It’s been great, a lot of really good content, great speakers. It’s made me think about a lot of things that I wouldn’t otherwise have came to the pre conference session. It looks pretty sophisticated in terms of the dashboard and I think what we’d like various of what we’ve done. It, who created this wonderful conversation between worthy talons of marketing, executives, to focus on the things that work well and drive more success into those areas.
To really focus on what they can take away and make them often better and and for us, what we’re going to do me better as well.
