How I Make Money As A Social Media Influencer | Making Money Online

So just about two years ago, I put out a article titled “, How to be a style, blogger.”, Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re interested in getting Into this kind of thing, So I rereaded it before doing this article and think that the advice two years later still holds up really well Now, in that article, I talk about the need for defining a reason for Wanting to do what you do And one of the many reasons That I list is to make money, so I don’t take any kind of stance on whether that’s good or bad.

In fact, I think I say that no reason is more or less noble than the other. So two years later, though, I’m going to take a little Bit different, look at it come at it from a little Bit different perspective To me the opportunity to make money doing something like this is a benefit. It’s a benefit of all the work we put in. It’s a benefit of all of the Thought that we put into it It’s a benefit that speaks to the fact that over the last seven years, we’ve created something that people have found lasting Value in that has a purpose and something that has Had a measurable impact on peoples’ lives, The coin of the realm in This space is authenticity And you cannot create a Community around something and I’m talking about a dedicated, lasting and genuinely engaged community, if you’re only doing Something to make money, People will see right through that they’ll see you for who you are And it’s a charade.

That’s Honestly impossible to keep up for any length of time, So that’s my take on it as someone who’s being doing. This for quite a while and who’s seen a lot of Things change over time And the people who have Quote unquote: “ survived” and are thriving. Are the ones who really do have something to say have something to offer? And have something of value to contribute to the conversation So little bit of a tangent Little bit of a rant And for me a necessary prelude, To the topic of this article, which is how He Spoke Style, makes money, So He Spoke Style has four Different revenue, streams, brand partnerships, advertising affiliate and the HSS Shop, And what I’m going to do next is walk you through each One and how it works Brand partnerships, So brand partnerships are Where a specific brand or a brand through Their agency reaches out to collaborate to produce content.

It could be for a specific Campaign they have going on, It could be for general awareness. In every case, though, It is a way for a brand to get in front of an Audience that you have built – and that is specific to you Different brands – look For different things and have different KPIs or Key performance indicators based on whatever their goal is So some are looking for reach. Some are looking for impressions.

Some want engagement, Some want conversion Or it could be a combination. Of all of those things, So the amount you can make On a brand partnership depends on a few things. It depends on the budget. The brand has to work with for marketing. It depends largely on the Size of your audience and, to some extent, a demonstrated history of producing impact and Results for brands in the past. So if a brand paid you X amount of dollars to do a project that was Focused on conversion and you didn’t sell a Single unit for them chances are that they’re not going to work with you in the future.

The most important part About partnering with a brand is to make sure that the Partnership makes sense for you and that it makes sense for your brand. So it’s important that you Have a specific point of view and a sense of what it Is that you stand, for, We are very selective at He Spoke Style about the kinds of Brands that we work with, For example, over the last few years, we’ve had long-term Partnerships with some fantastic read brands, including A.

Lange & Söhne, Vacheron, Constantin and Jaeger-LeCoultre. Some read brands, though let’s call them fashion. Read brands have reached out to partner with us and we have always politely Passed on those opportunities because they don’t make sense for us, It’s not something that I would personally use It’s not the level of product I’m comfortable promoting And there’s been a lot of money. We said no to in that space, But it’s more important.

To only work with brands that we truly believe In because, once again, authenticity is the coin of the realm, How on earth could you Take someone seriously that in one sponsored post or article says IWC is the best read brand ever and then in the very next Sponsored post or article says, MVMT or Daniel Wellington or NOVE is the best read brand ever That’s a rhetorical question. My point is that saying no to things may, in the short term, keep You from making a few dollars, but to me you will have much more success if you build something Around a set of values and play a longer game in that sense, Brand partnerships are currently the largest single source of Income for He Spoke Style, which is why I spent so Much time talking about it And also they are the most Creatively, satisfying way that we make money Next advertising, So He Spoke Style – makes money through ads that you see on the website as well as ads that you see here on the YouTube blog, We don’t sell the space on the website directly to advertisers ourselves.

We work with an ad management company that fills that inventory for us And then with YouTube. We just enable the Articles for monetization and Google takes care of the rest. I am not an expert in how Revenue is calculated, Though there is something Called CPM or cost per mille, that is a metric that advertisers use And then with YouTube. I believe it’s a combination, Of number of views, as well as total, read time, So we make a decent amount on ads, not as much as we do.

With brand partnerships, but it’s a really nice source of passive income that we have – And this is one of the Reasons that when I talk about building a business in this Space that I say it’s important to have a variety of options: In your portfolio out there, If you’re putting all of Your eggs in one basket you’re potentially missing Out on a revenue stream that you wouldn’t otherwise have That’s.

Why, although a Website isn’t super sexy to a brand partner. At this point, most brands are interested Mostly in YouTube or Instagram, The fact that we built and Still maintain a website that a lot of people read Opens up this opportunity that we would completely miss Out on, if we didn’t do that, Third way He Spoke Style makes money is through affiliate. Marketing Affiliate marketing is When you promote a product or give a link to a Product and when someone buys that product or clicks on The link and buys a product you get a small commission on that sale.

This can be done directly with a brand. For example, we work with Dapper Woodworks this way we work with Stubbs and Wootton this way, Or there are several services That sort of centralize everything like rewardStyle ShopStyle, so you’re not having to deal with each individual advertiser yourself. This is a smaller revenue. Stream for He Spoke Style, but again like ads. It does create this sort of passive income that continues to build On itself over time, It is more time consuming to Do to put the links together and search for everything, but I view it as a small way.

That I’m able to get a little something back for the Effort that I put into it. Finally, we have the He Spoke Style Shop, So we launched this Just over two years ago – And it was something that we wanted to do – to create a world around What we were doing and to be able to offer our readers fans, followers and viewers direct Access to some of the things that we really loved and That we really believed in E-commerce is a really tough business with the small staff that we have here, It’s been basically impossible to scale up beyond where we have it now, but again it is a nice source of income.

That we have coming in Now there are some really exciting things that are going to be happening. In the shop very soon We are going to be partnering With Michael Andrews to offer an exclusive Made to measure service and other things as well. It’s pretty awesome. It’s been years in the making and we’re very excited for the potential that it presents to us to grow. And to scale our business, So that’s it! That’s how He Spoke Style makes money Brand partnerships, advertising Affiliate marketing and the He Spoke Style Shop.

The FORMULA To DOMINATING Social Media Become A HUGE Brand Or Influencer FAST

So I hope you’re ready read this article to the very end, because if you don’t it means you’re, not serious about life, you know series about money and you’re, not serious about self-improvement, so just check out the whole article. If you’re new here like I’ll subscribe, we talked about marketing, affiliate marketing, social media, everything how to make money everything.

Ok. So, let’s get it was like um, so the first tip to becoming like a massive influencer, and these are like the most guaranteed steps and back backed up by data. Ok and you’ll see this in a second, so I think it’s going to be like five steps. You’ll see, ok, I’m going to get started here, um first, you want to be omnipresent and what’s omnipresence, alright and a lot of this, if you guys follow me for affiliate marketing, a lot of this has to have to fill it.

Mark me: OK um, and this is an angle with using a personal brand. Okay, you can’t just post other people’s content. It could work like that, but there’s nothing more powerful than building a brand, and you guys see this time time again like, for example, what are the biggest influencers that you like personally leave you in the comment section down below. Also, if you guys, like this article, let me know and I’ll make more of them, but leave me a comment section down below influencers that you like.

Ok, maybe some of the other people see that and they’re like. Oh I like that influence or two but anyways um. You want to be omnipresent. Okay, you want to be across all platforms, so set up shop set up across all platforms, alright and then next, what you want to do is you want to create a ton of content around one niche. Okay content is king, alright and why it needs to be around one issues: cuz, that’s like the people you’re attracting okay, um, also, maybe even before that might might have been backwards or the way I said in my thing up, but you want to have something to Sell you only have actually a lot of monetization to make it work that you want to actually have it like this and what that is.

That’s um, that’s a value ladder, so you want to have something mid ticket, high ticket, low tick and free okay. You want to have all of that. Okay, do people want the free stuff they get value from you there you also collect their them as a lead. Okay, setting up all this stuff is very easy. I don’t know why people get overwhelmed by technical stuff. I taught myself on a code very, very young. If you are older and you don’t understand technical technical stuff, it is hard to teach their old dog new tricks, which is honest-to-goodness truth because neural plasticity in the brain it like hardens or it’s harder to learn new things.

But that’s okay! You can just like it’ll be a little harder. You can learn. Just read some turtles or something, but basically, when I’m talking about autoresponder email, collector service for getting stuff for free, but then you wan na have something low. Take it meant to get high ticket is selling you can do affiliate offers. You have your own offers. You have merch down below. You could have ads with if you’re doing, YouTube and stuff.

Like that on your website, you could have ads so you’re not going to make a lot as much money from ads, so you can make with other stuff. But after you have something you’re selling you’re, going to look back at everything that you created. Okay and you’re. Going to find a couple winners, things that got insane engagement insane read time if you’re using YouTube insane click their rate. If you get that statistic, usually with YouTube and typically YouTube, is the best platform to use, but why it’s so good to be omnipresent, especially using Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

It’s so good because you can get in front of your whole market easier and repurpose content, okay, and what, when you get content that does super well on whatever platform. It is use that platforms ad network and all of them have their own ad network. You put in like 10 bucks, okay, find your best content, the top 3 on that platform for that month. That did the best. Ok and you boost it. Okay boost – and this is how you extremely get more money.

You grow through the roof because of your promoting your best content out there. Everything else is just a freakin test: okay and there’s so many details and methods that go deep, deep, deep into each one of these. How to sell super well how to get actually make great content, how to actually like brand yourself correctly. How actually do advertise in which I live, no actual courses. You can check them out if you want that.

I just dive deep in all that, if you want to actually get great great results with selling or getting high click-through rates and how to monetize and ways to make crazy, crazy money and crazy strategies and funnels. But the next thing it is. Let me see you here: oh oh, this one’s powerful. Okay, so you boost. But another thing is: you can retarget okay and why retargeting is powerful as you’re new on there’s warm there’s cold, there’s warm there’s hot traffic, so basically hot traffic’s people that have engaged already with you? Okay, so you can retarget if you connect your cell, your social media, that you’re on you’re on lots of um, so each social media you have to connect to that that networks dot ad network to that social media.

You just connect them. Okay, together, usually it happens automatically. Sometimes you have to connect it, which is usually YouTube in Google, so especially that one, the other ones automatic. You can just retarget people that okay read some articles, people that are subscribe to you, people that are engaged with your content. Okay, I’m talking like Instagram or Facebook or Facebook or Twitter Pinterest is a different one ones that do super.

Well, you can take that content and you can just put some ads in it and boost it, and you know get put out there and people going to repin and stuff, but anyways you can retarget people whatever you’re selling, that’s hot traffic. Okay, a lot of people like to do cold marketing, which is the worst marketing out there. You have to be like a super psychological expert, and you have to have a huge funnel that monetizes everyone like crazy.

Like I’m talking, you you’re, like you, got a funnel like selling the most high-quality products ever super high ticket stuff in the back end monetizing, the back and like crazy you’d, have to really all know the advanced stuff. To do that, you can take my courses if you want to know how to do that. Well, anyway, you retarget and then the next one is. Let’s see I have notes here. Obviously, right, let’s see you could have three funnels in place when you’re monetizing, not just one, but you could have like multiple tips and people.

Another one is whatever content. Outperforms other content boost it. It’s basically testing around yep. So social me is basically like a testing ground, okay of content, and once you get ones that are winners, you boost it, okay and then you’re always running and retargeting at sending them to your stuff, you’re selling and then people when they’re reading your content. Anyway, you are making money you’re selling, so okay, very important next is build your list.

Okay and then the last one. Okay, so build your list huge huge and that’s when you basically and there’s stuff that, like I’m talking growth hacking, I could dive into that. But I’ll have a mini course on how to growth, hack and stuff, which is the most powerful way to actually get people to share your content and accelerate your growth like to go viral okay. So that’s just like the easiest had the biggest hack to growth.

But this is a huge attack. Right here is just boosting like your best performing content, okay, the the platforms and people who actually built social media platforms. They don’t understand this, but us marketers do okay. This is like the fundamentals of everything is cold, warm and hot traffic and selling stuff okay. But this is the strategy for social media specifically make content on the testing ground final works boost it, okay, build your list with giving stuff for free, sell your stuff, whatever it is you’re in okay and the last thing is – and this is the funnest part right – Collaborating okay: you want to collaborate with other people in your niche to grow.

Big! Alright, if you guys are still reading this article to the very end, oh props, to you, okay, you are truly truly on track. I remember I would read tons of articles till the very end. Okay, when I first started and dude now, look at me like straight up. I am making thousands per day with the Philly marketing if you’re new here and you don’t know that I’m in the health niche I’m in sweepstakes, I’m in other news.

I won’t go into I’m in this niche and yeah, like I’m, making a lot of money doing this, and when I first started dude, I had nothing okay, but I just would learn every single day, and that applies to strategy down the road multiple times. Finally, I succeeded, and now I want to go up to bigger ventures like actually building like social media platforms and stuff with developers, and I want to it’s like kind of secret stuff in the works.

But anyway, that’s my plans down the road, but right now I want to build up my personal personal brand to network with you guys. So I appreciate all your guys’s support. I love talking to you guys can’t wait to meet you guys in person someday, because I got a very big plant but anyways um collaborating is the last one: collaborate with people in your niche that will help them grow that’ll help you grow and you make it About them, you don’t make it a selfish reason like about yourself, but you make it about them where you guys want to like grow together.

Okay, so that’s like the secret um. I hope you guys enjoyed this. You want more of this content. Let me know down below by commenting I want more or by commenting social media secrets, okay, so check out the other articles check out the new stuff in the description and peace out.

I went from 0 to 19.5K Instagram followers in one year (and lost 2K the next year)

I reached nineteen point, five thousand followers. How I did that is. I will show you in this article and I will show you as well how I lost 1,500 to 2,000 followers in the next year. So a bit of a big story on why I started posting interior content on Instagram.

I was just moved into a new city. I was hating my job I was born. I was creatively unfulfilled. I decided to pick a more creative hobby, something to more tickle my creative brain, and so, if I outlet outside of work, I wouldn’t buy the username talking spaces don’t go, it was also the URL to my blog and I posted my first picture. It was the last picture I snapped off my previous home engaged it. I will put it on the screen somewhere over here or here.

I kind of discovered this whole community of Interior related content on Instagram, and I started interacting with people that were inside that community. As well little by little, I started getting a few followers. I think it took me about a month to get 200 followers like good, a person with low self-esteem inside this eco sphere of likes and hearts and positive reinforcement. And so obviously I got addicted to it.

And I started to spend more and more time on it and I started to be more analyze: posts of butters and hashtags day used and which compositions they used, which colors they used, how they edited their photos. And here there I started to take tips and tricks from them, and this is where my first really great tip comes in because you can use, for example, hashtag interior design for pictures like I posted or home decor.

But it’s way more effective to go with more specific hashtags. So for me that was a small spaces squad. A studio apartment eclectic decor. This is why I have to try every day this one has grown. It loves right now so surely, but steadily. I started to create a few sets of hashtags for different kind of pictures that I would use with a lot of retailers and specific hashtags. Another thing that really accelerated my growth was using stories and there are a few ways to use stories and I think here consistency is key.

So, basically never should you have an empty stories that it’s not clickable and what you are going to share. It’s basically up to you, because it’s a more rough of the curve, something you just want to share something you just want to show and what really helped me back then was to share other people’s pictures tagging them in it and also not just throwing it out There also not saying it’s a shot-for-shot, because that can really feel canoing if someone comes to you like, please show me out, but really putting something in it like, for example, someone shares my picture and they say something really specific about it.

There’s more chance. I will share it in my stories again or I will check out your accounts to see what you’re sharing and what your aesthetic is like. What I also did was create my own hashtag, so my username was talking, spaces don’t go, and I created the hashtag talking spaces because every Friday I would use stories to shout out people that use that hashtag share the best of what they had to show.

So what that does it creates kind of a community community around you you’re, not only part of the community, if you’re doing it like that, because you’re also in the middle of it, so people started to use the hashtag and also make sure to follow me because, If they don’t follow me, they will think maybe he’s not going to share it. If I don’t follow him, another great tip – and I did this really early on and it really paid off – was interacting and following with Meghan and blogs and compilation accounts like comes.

Let’s share pictures from different accounts because that’s a really great way to get access to and greater audience every time it got shared there. It meant a great influx of new followers because they discovered me, so you really have to see what’s your niche and you have to interact with magazines in that area. It’s really good to see similar accounts to you and who they follow and who they are getting followed by and that’s a way to see what kind of niche you fit into and that’s a great way to see what kind of hashtags would work for you.

It’s great to see what kind of people will be interesting in following you as well, and it’s really a great idea to interact with those kind of accounts. Not only because it’s interesting to you this because clearly they have similar interest to you, but because the company they share and the huge person is shared, it has a kind of Overland. My memory was full and we’re cutting up and the framing is worse.

But, let’s get back so slowly but steady, I was reaching 500 followers and I was noticing there. It’s people that were just starting out with Instagram accounts we’re starting to follow me because they saw me as a bit more of an established name in the community and what’s really important here, is that those people they they want to be understood. They want to communicate. They want to be friendly to people, and what I saw a lot was account said were the were a bit more established.

There was not coming back on smaller accounts; they would not like back on smaller accounts and I think, that’s really stupid to do because we’re all human beings. Why would you not answer someone if they’re saying something nice to you on your picture, so I would suggest comments back everyone, that’s coming from your picture and if it’s something that you’re not really sure what to comment back just heart, the comments or just reply with An emoji something nice.

If you notice someone that’s commenting like on every picture. You post it’s nice to just check out Derek comments, and maybe it’s something you want to follow as well. So if coming back get to know the people behind defeats answer your PMS only the nice ones, not the dirty ones and the flirty ones and the kind of weird ones you get and be open and real with what you post, because I noticed we’re more diff.

The pictures that were, hopefully Photoshop kind of turned me off and also people deaf in their captions, were like really high and mighty and know-it-all about what they shared like. They knew everything about interior design. If someone was acting like that, it started to turn me off, and I really didn’t like this, so I should just be open and real, but just stay humble just you’re, just another Instagram account you’re, not some big shot because she reached a lot of followers.

Stay. Humble so I think this is where my account started to stand up, because I was sharing pictures in a really mundane way. I shared pictures where you saw the messiyah my home. I shared pictures with a trash bag on the background or a really messy bed, or something like that, and because the other side of, like the big community of Instagram, was basically, I saw people that took pictures and they photoshopped away plug outlets and they photoshopped away.

The line of the ceilings make it look bigger and because my pictures were more relatable and real. I think that did a lot of good for my former bassist well in the moment that I was shared by a lot of magazines and blogs and compilation accounts. It took me quickly into I think 6,000 followers, but quickly after that, I started to really get close to like the magical and amazing 10k like this might be a real tip or something you say, like obviously yeah, but be a nice person, because I saw a Lot of people just being assholes on the Instagram, and I saw a lot of people also feeling self-important that they, for example, commented on a few blogs or magazine accounts and that they were commenting.

When am I going to get shared or why are you not noticing me? Instagram is a big place. It’s not easy to get noticed, so it’s not that they personally have something against you. If they don’t notice you, but it’s just not happening yet, and people ask. Will get dismissed? Ok, let’s zoom out a second for all the tips. I’ve given so far, it’s a precursor to death. It’s important that your content is interesting.

It’s visually pleasing your captions are relatable or funny, or they give something to the people. A lot of people share like really complaining stuff like today, I had to go to the grocery store and someone cut me up and I felt so angry I’m not looking for negativity on my feet. So why would I follow it an account that dust is like on the regulator? Also, a good thing is that your content has to be recognizable.

People have to see a picture. You post, and you have to instantly know that. Oh this is this. In this person’s picture, but on the flip side of death, if you’re posting really the same picture on and on and on again like it doesn’t matter if you’ve taken a different picture. But if the content of the picture is basically the same, people will get bored and I see a lot of accounts right now. That kind of got big because they had like a really pretty dining room and they kind of latch on together.

And they hang on to death right now, they’re still sharing the same picture or the same setup and they’re not getting the likes anymore, because people have seen it like all the people that want to see it have discovered it by now, and it’s not news anymore. Above all, the other tips like interacting with people sharing interesting content being open, honest and relatable and don’t or captions using stories.

I think the main thing that plays into your growth on Instagram is consistency and it’s consistency in posting and it’s consistency in how much you interact with the app if you’re, finding a sustainable amount of time. You can do, for example, you post every day and you spend an X amount of time every day on the app interacting with content. That’s the main way to really get growth, because Instagram will see that you are pumping out interesting content on a consistent basis and it will take you seriously and besides that people will know if they see a picture of you and they see exactly one day later.

Another picture of you and exactly a day later another picture of you. They will know that they’re getting their fix on a daily basis and it will go check for you. So, even if the algorithm isn’t in your favor, they will know today there will be a new picture or a new article or something only is instagram page and i’m going to check it out. Another great tip is to know your niche and you have to play into it and that’s both in how you share your content and how you use your hashtags, but also to me as an interior Instagrammer.

It meant. I changed that my interior, more not only for my followers, also because I like to, but it kind of showed me what my people liked, and that was a reflection of what I like and all like minded people. I saw their trends coming on and I changed my interior to reflect that. So I was noticing my accountant was mainly interesting to people who are looking for tiny living things, drifting and vintage interior and our big-city living.

And I was noticing that a bit of an overlap to that where it was the urban jungle trend or how you would call, and that’s why I started to play more into dance. I had a lot of plants in my home already. I was just not using the hashtag — jungle and house pens make me happy and all the more specific hashtags for that niche. So I started to branch out from one age to another, not letting the first one guy out but just building upon it and that’s also really important.

You don’t go from one thing to one thing completely different: you have to stay in your own lane. Basically, but you are allowed to branch out a bit so back, then I don’t know if it’s still a trend, but back then it was really popular to participate in common spots, and this is basically a group chat with people on Instagram, where, as soon as you’re Posting you will notify the group chat and they will all go to your picture and they will like and comment on it, and this is basically to kind of fully augur if M that you’re getting a lot of interaction on your picture from the get-go, I was Offered to participate loads of times – and I never get this which later on, I think, is a good thing, because Instagram has really statements about comment balls and how they are cracking down on it.

But to me it just felt like it felt inauthentic, and it’s really also. I didn’t have the time to every time. Someone commented in a group chat to directly go to the photo and directly comment something. So I didn’t do that and I think it’s for the better, because there are some accounts. I know that have participated in comment. Boats. That’s right now are falling off big time. They still have great interaction in comments, but there are apps to see what your authentic engagement and it’s really awful for those people, because it’s really easy to see what comes from a common boss or you have those apps that you can copy-paste the same reaction to Different photos and it’s really obvious to see the same comments from the same people on every photo in the same kind of community community.

So I was doing amazing. It was November of 2018 and I think I was around 18 and a half thousand followers. And in November I started to really step up my game and I was posting a blog post every day I called it La Femme, but this also was great for my growth because more content, it was interesting content. If I say so myself, it meant more followers and at the end of November, are somewhere in mid December.

I think I reached 19 thousand followers and that’s when stuff started to go down, because I picked something that was not sustainable because consistency is key on Instagram and I was posting so much which I couldn’t keep up, because I literally I was working a full-time job. I was posting every day on Instagram I was posting a blog post. Every day I tried to have a social life sighs that it was way too much to do so after November.

I stopped it obviously, and I started to post list on Instagram, because basically it was just burned out. This instantly led to a decrease in new followers. I was not losing yet, but my growth was fluttering quickly. Another thing that greatly influenced my drop in followers. I think is that my interior changed and it changed quite drastically. All of a sudden, because in December I painted my wall black and until then my niche was the more lies wide with vintage accents plain bluffing, vintage laughing home in an old house.

And if you see that you throw in a black wall, it doesn’t mesh well and also later on. I was moving and I was moving to a new bill tome and that’s the opposite of what people like about my account. Because people start following me, because I had like a really nice old home, with beautiful ceilings and beautiful large windows and high ceilings. And I moved to a place that was way more healthy for me to live in and I loved it so much more, but visually it’s less interesting.

It’s really a basic flat that I’m living in right now. Also, I changed up my interior style, then again, because I started to have more modern furniture that wasn’t up pretty thrifted or something I don’t know why? Because right now, I’m back back to basics again with only thrifted furniture, but I changed it up and two followers that follow you, because of one reason that means that they are not interested in your content anymore, so this ring had started dropping quite rapidly.

I think, basically, I put myself so deep into my niche that, as my interests were changing and my style was changing and I myself was changing. It felt inauthentic to the people following me because they never saw me sharing something about it, because I was just only sharing what I thought people wanted see. People were uninterested in the things I shared, and so they smash to death and full of button.

No hard feelings, I do exactly the same if I follow someone and they are changing up their content big-time and it’s not interesting to me. Why would I follow along? Another thing I suspect, influenced my drop in followers were poorly designed unrelated sir posts, and on top of that I was disclosing that stuff was gifted or paid promotion or PR product or it was a PR offence, but other people in the mainly Dutch interior community they’re, Not disclosing anything about sponsorship and if they do, they really hide it deep into their hashtag.

So people will not see it so it looked like I was doing all of these sponsored posts and they were doing nothing and I really stood out because of it, and I was also taking and that’s really stupid, because I didn’t really get money for it or I didn’t really get something I wanted, but it’s just if people reach out to me and they wanted to work with me, I was really excited to most of them in the beginning.

I said yes – and I said yes without really looking into the brands that wanted to work with me and I think that’s really bad, because a sponsorship is not a two-way street you’re, not working with only the company and the influencer. Followers are really a big part of it, and I didn’t look into this and that’s really bad. I think I think that really influenced my dropping followers, the most in the end, so I was kind of lost with what I wanted to share on Instagram and I made the conscious decision to just stop caring about followers and just start posting.

Whatever I felt like – and I think that really did a lot to me in a positive way, because I started to see what I like to post and also by trying out stuff, I noticed that it wasn’t for me. So, on top of that, I changed my username from talking spaces co2, just my first name with a lot more art in it to make it more personal and to really share that image of the content creator. I was at first and through really sharing whatever I felt like, and I think it was mainly the period between February and basically tail two months ago, like November of 2019, I just shared whatever I like, and I still most followers logically, but it really showed me What I like to share so flashback to now I’m right now, as I think seventeen point, four thousand followers which is growth again, I think at my lowest point.

I was at seventeen points, one that wasn’t forest and I really want to share how gets happening because it’s a three full explanation. First of all, I started to get more interested again in what I share it. Second of all, I refrain my consistency because right now I’m posting at twice a week instead of every day, and I think Instagram is getting the hang of it now. Obviously, my growth is less than when I posted every day, but it’s better than when I posted every day, while hating my content and while not interacting with anyone, and I also reframed my expectations, because in the heyday of my like Instagram journey, if a picture didn’t Get to thousands likes, it was a field picture.

It was not doing great and right now, if my picture has above 200 likes that’s great to me. That means 200 people looked at it and they were interested enough to like it, and I think it’s as well. If everyone on the platform gets less interaction right now, and I’m not sure how that happens, but it’s great to know because that reframes your expectation from it and it reframes what success means. Instagram is basically mirroring what you do.

So if you put a lot of time and effort into it and your content is obvious – obviously interesting fish easing if you’ve put a lot of effort into it, you get more out of it. So that’s how you reach 19,000 followers in one year and then losing 2,000 followers in the next year. I hope this was interesting to you and I hope you got something out of it if you’re looking to grow an Instagram audience or if you struggle with an existing Instagram accounts that doesn’t really like go as good as it did.

It’s not that much that it’s! I think really life hacks to grow on Instagram. It’s just really insight on how to my knowledge into my experience, the Instagram platform works. Also. I want to add that in no way, I’m claiming to really know a lot about the algorithm or that I’m really knowledgeable about social media marketing or SEO, or something like that, because if people say that it annoys me a lot and that’s also why I kind Of debate it’s about filming this article, I don’t want to sound like an oil or something like this.

I just wanted to share my story because people that say they know a lot about the algorithm or give tips and tricks about it. Not even to people at Instagram headquarters know how the algorithm works. It’s a self learning machine, it’s way more complex than if you do X, then you get Y. So I think it’s really insane that a lot of people do. I have this business about how to trick the algorithm or something it doesn’t work like that.

So I hope this doesn’t come up as know-it-all or preachy or patronizing. I just hope my story, maybe was fun to listen to or give some insights into how your Instagram experience is. Also, something I want to add is that, above all the tips that I shared or all the things that I did, that I shared there’s a lot of luck into it, a lot of times, it’s being at the right place at the right time. I had no influence is over whether or not an accountant was checking me out or whether or not one of those magazines was going to share my home.

It was all up to luck, but you can kind of play into luck by being there and by trying to go after things you want to have so basically, it’s mostly about luck and all the earth tips are just supporting it’s too dead. So thank you for reading and thank you for following along also here on YouTube. I had a lot of fun working on this article and now I have a lot of fun getting into the editing and the filming site of making YouTube articles.

So if you have tips and tricks on that, let me know down below and also if you have tips and tricks about growing your Instagram audience, leave them also down below for me and for others to read. Also, my Instagram is linked down below. If you want to check out that I’m not just talking out of my ass about all of this, it’s real! I really did that. It’s not that interesting! Basically, but you can check it out down below.

I swear is a good time over there. So I’ll see you next week and till then stay cool. I don’t have a sign-off, so it’s basically see you next week. Bye

HOW TO BECOME AN INFLUENCER ON SOCIAL MEDIA – PROFITABLE PERSONAL BRANDING

What is the future millionaires? Jessie unlock tier, the unlocked entrepreneur, coach and my goal with this blog is to help you unlock your ultimate lifestyle, so real, quick before we get into the meat of this article, if you guys are serious about you, know, becoming an influencer and making passive income from It be sure to check out the links in the description below, because it’s going to have a lot of information and valuable tools that you can use to get ahead so excuse the mess we just moved into our new place.

So it’s a little scattered. But let’s get into the three fundamentals: the three foundations that you really need to become a social-media influencer number one is a platform. Now what a platform is is basically, where do you want to start if you’re just getting started? Just think of one platform where you want to get started, this can be Facebook, it can be YouTube, it can be Instagram, but you have to have a platform to decide where you’re going to influence.

So, let’s say you’re getting started in YouTube now with YouTube. You’re. Obviously, going to be making articles you’re going to want to be somewhat comfortable on camera, because you know it gets easier, the more you do it now. If you want to go on Facebook and kind of build your influence there you’re a little more comfortable on Facebook. Facebook stope, it gives you options and you can actually either start a Facebook group.

You can do article if you want to do Facebook live if you’re down for the challenge. That’s pretty cool and they’re. Giving a lot of you know beef to it. So you can do lives or you can kind of go behind the scenes like a lot of people, are doing personal branding and actually making a lot of money just doing Facebook groups. They build a group, they post some content, they get people to check it out and they sprinkle affiliate links where they can actually start making some money.

So it really kind of comes down to your preference and Facebook gives you a lot of options. Now. Let’s say you want to tackle Instagram as a platform. Instagram is cool if you like, working with images and you’re down to either make your own images, you know, take cool photos set up cool settings. Take pictures of accessories, clothing, shopping brands more of that route. If you want to be that kind of influence, like a fashion, influencer or you’ve, been like a cooking like a chef, influencer or like that, would be dope for Instagram.

However, you’re not super limited to making your own content, you can also basically be a curation page where, let’s say you like cars, you’re really into cars, you can look at cars all day. You know lots about cars right. You can make either a luxury. You know cars page, you could make it old-school cars page like hot rods and old motorbikes, and maybe old cars and vehicles that they used to use in old school movies like that could be a niche you know, but these are just options that you can do With Instagram, so Instagram gives you a lot of options as well.

You can either create your own content or you can pull together a page of similar themed content now. The second thing you want to have is a topic in our niche. I’ve heard it said niche. It just kind of depends on on how you want to say it doesn’t really matter, but having this is going to be super crucial, because it’s what you talked about so, for example, you want to start thinking in ways of like what are your hobbies.

What are hobbies that you have that other people have like that is more of like a broad thing, that you know that people like and there’s a few ways that I can give you on finding this niche, so that you know it’s a it’s. It’s a popular ish niche. Now, let’s take a look at health and fitness. When you look at health and fitness, it’s a really broad topic right, but when you get down to it you know it could even go into like fitness and nutrition is kind of the crossroads.

Then you go into fitness and there’s all kinds of different Fitness right. There’s p90x there’s lifting there’s running. There’s you know, triathlons, there’s marathons, there’s yoga, there’s all kinds of different topics right: those are all niches, so maybe you’re a gamer bu. You know – and these are the experiences that I know – maybe you’re a gamer – maybe you’re a lyft – or maybe you like meditation, maybe you’re – into tarot card reading.

You know just start thinking about the things that you do and the stuff that you read up on the stuff that interests you in that you find yourself going back to again and again. Another way to find a good niche is actually what I call the the magazine test and a way to find a good niche and one that’s actually profitable, is by looking and seeing if there’s already a magazine out on it on that topic, and one way to Do this is actually through Amazon.

Amazon is like the they’re, just the biggest store on the planet. Basically, and if you go on the the books segment, there’s an area for magazines and they you – you will see all kinds of magazines that not even Barnes and Noble has but what’s important to know is that if there’s a magazine on it, that means there is Enough demand to make that magazine, otherwise it wouldn’t waste the time or the energy to make it happen.

So if there’s a magazine on the chances, are it’s popular enough to make a magazine on now the next way and like more like the last way of finding a good niche that I’ll recommend in this article for today is actually going on Facebook. So if you’re probably already spending time on Facebook chances, are you know about Facebook groups? Now, if you go into the search bar and you search whatever your niche may be, and let’s say it’s tarot card reading, you’re going to find groups on it and you want to make sure that there’s at least at the minimum, like 5,000 people in multiple groups, If there’s only like one group and there’s a few hundred people, it’s probably going to be an uphill battle.

If you choose that as a niche now, if you find something more popular, you know like something I looked into when I was doing affiliate marketing was juicing. I noticed that there were a few different juicing groups and detox groups, so I knew that that was something that would be worth my time and energy pursuing. So whatever your niche is just look in the the search bar and start looking at groups just join the most popular one, so you can kind of see.

Obviously that’s going to be where you’ll find the most engaged people. So it’s worth checking out and seeing what kind of conversations they’re having what problems they’re having what kind of things are talking about? Maybe there’s news. There’s updates and you’ll find out what people are talking about in that niche, and it’s going to it’s going to give you an advantage, but you just right now. You just want to see that it’s popular there’s people talking about it and that there’s interest so that wraps up fundamental foundation number two so guys once you have your platform and once you have your niche, it’s time to figure out the content, that’s right! Content is number three, so with number three being content, you guys already know that content is king content.

Basically, is the deciding factor on whether or not you move up you move down or you stay neutral. So, if you’re coming into this new, unfortunately it’s not as easy as just planting your flag and saying you’re the expert right you’re going to want to have some stuff. That really proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that you know what you’re talking about, and this can be done in article. It can be done in pictures, infographics, podcasts, really any form of media that you decide you’re comfortable with and the more you put out.

The more of an expert you become not just to other people, but really to yourself. You know you get better at talking about that thing. You become more confident talking about that thing and, as you become more of an expert, your content gets better. The way you talk and portray yourself in and speak and your voice gets better over time and that’s kind of the the best compounding effect is because you might feel a little.

You know not so confident at first but the more you do this like it just builds and it becomes really really cool because then people believe you people believe that you’re an expert, because you get confident about what you’re talking about and by staying in your lane. You really show that you’re an expert and you to others when they come across your content, that you are the expert in that field.

So one is the perk that you become the expert you’re seen as the expert now. The second thing, the second like perk, is you’re. Just it’s seen that you’re active in the field. You know a lot of people get hesitant to buy books when they’re a little older, because you’re afraid the content doesn’t really hold up anymore. So, especially with things like social media and things online, the game is always changing.

The game is always growing right. Things are shifting constantly so a book like, let’s say in social media marketing that came out in like 2008 you’re going to be super, hesitant to believe the content, because it’s so old. So if you’re like going off the content that you made two years ago three years ago, it’s stale you know, so you want to make sure that you’re pumping out active content, because people are like alright.

This guy’s always posting content, he’s freshening the game. He knows what he’s talking about he’s always posting like the most up-to-date content and they’re more likely to believe you because you’re on top of it you’re like you, have your finger on the pulse and you’re like alright. I know exactly what’s going on and then they come to you because they start to trust you and they go okay, it’s easier for me to get my knowledge from this guy, because he’s constantly he’s been right before and he’s constantly providing me the most up-to-date content.

I don’t have to go to this site. I don’t have to go to this person. I can just go to this person because they’re the expert, and they know exactly what’s going on so the last perk of creating relevant content – is that it builds your audience and it really gives people more of a chance to find you. We we’d all love to have like that. One homerun piece that just knocks it out of the park and all of a sudden everybody knows our name and everyone.

We want to work with knows about us and all of our customers instantly want to buy from us right, but that’s just not how it works. You know it really does take shots. It’s like that. That wing risk that Wayne Gretzky quote where he mentions, like you, miss 100 % of the shots you don’t take. You know the way I like to consider putting out content is pretty much like like hooks. You know like like you when you’re fishing and you have hooks in the water and like if you only have one article, if you only have one piece of content, if you only do one picture, that’s like having one hook in the ocean, so with that analogy, In mind, do you want to have one hook in the ocean, or do you want to have hundreds of hooks in the ocean and really care and tea that you’re bringing home a fish like that? It’s it’s really that simple! The analogy is just that clear and by posting content on the regular and becoming someone who’s active in the community, it really builds all three of those.

So you know people see you as an expert. They know that you have your finger on the pulse, that you’re active and three. You just have so many hooks in the water that people are bound to see your content and that you’re getting better all the time. So my question for you guys in the comments section below, is what niche are you going into and what platform are your going to be using, go ahead and comment in the section below and let’s have a conversation? If you have any questions, I would love to bounce ideas back and forth.

How to become an influencer in 5 minutes

My following tactics for success in work and in life will certainly help you. First, build passion not try to find it. If you stay in something long enough, it will become your passion. Take football, for example.

It is no like they were born with passion for football. I mean some born of talent, the fact that they start from any age and playing football almost every day it became the primary passion. So will your passion number two be expect on something take an interest on something stick with it for a while be persistent, and ultimately you will gain mastery in that area. You can generate true expertise by doing something that you love or you can turn your lived experience and expertise.

Number three find something to enjoy failing. You need to find something you love doing put yourself in a position where you can enjoy even the hardest time at work, so make sure you are building your left and work around something you will still enjoy on the hardest and bleakest days. Number four find a way to keep learning. Remember successful people adopt a growth mindset, not a fixed mindset, believing one can change and grow and expand number five bill self-awareness.

You need to develop a self-awareness that you can become all the time, regardless of how everything is. Failing on you number six find the positive in any hardship. There is always be a positive learning. You should realize that it is your mental attitude that interpret the input around you. When I find myself thinking everything’s in negative, I will ask myself these three question. Why I am feeling this way is my feeling justified? Is there any imminent danger here that I should be aware of and most of the time the answer is no and the feeling is unjustified and I try to move for seven build a positive culture.

If you want people to come to you, you need to be a light source emanating positivity. If you care about people, people who see you as a leader, people need to feel taken care of to feel that they have purpose and fulfilled significant. My mission hasn’t always be about helping people to see the power within themselves, and if I can do that, you can do to number eight build your track record if you want to become known as an influencer in a larger sense, spend the time and energy creating Successes in your smaller area, first – for me, it was turning my negative experience into expertise in a consistent way.

It is about understanding the negative experience, understanding the challenges that come out of that experience and how to turn this experience into solution. That was key for me, benign focus on who you are and why you are doing this. Another important part of my initial success was just being myself being real, not trying to be some arrogant. Do I’m just called Basia, also a guy who enjoyed helping other, just like you also trying to have other people that why I guess you are reading this article.

Why being an influencer is NOT sustainable…

Um this article might crush a lot of your dreams. This article might be too honest and I probably shouldn’t post it uh. I just can’t hold the secret anymore because, okay, so you know when you meet someone and you kind of see right a flags, but you just want to be in denial because you really like this person, but you already know they’re going to be a psycho bitch.

You know that’s what I’m having right now, because at the same time I think making content online is an amazing moneymaker. I just see this giant red flag in the ground that I need to share, because it’s just frustrating to me that no one is seeing this right, so this article will start off with the fact that if you don’t know who I am my name is Jane. I help people grow on social media, so the end of the day, this article might just be really bad for me, because I try to encourage people to make content.

So this is scourge. Is you? I’m really sorry? Actually, no, I’m not because I think this will save you a lot of time. Basically, yesterday I was hanging out with my friends that go to high school. I dropped out of high school, so sometimes I like to just to hang out with my friends and see. What’s up, you know, I’m not really relevant anymore. So, besides the fact, I asked them what the fuck was up and one of my friends was telling me this yeah, so my teacher basically said that being a consecrate or you tuber can’t make money.

Why? Because I don’t know if you’re living under a rock but there’s so many millionaires on the internet that are just doing great sweetie they’re thriving yeah. But this teacher was basically just telling us class that you can’t make money online. Don’t even try pursuing career because you’re going to be broke, and that’s just really fresh me me here, but then, as I try to defend this topic more, I realize who the fuck am I to say that, because there are times that I’m going to share of What I thought social media wasn’t sustainable and the paycheck that I got in the mail from Google wasn’t enough.

There are times where I almost gave up and I didn’t have a backup option, because what the fuck I can’t get employed, I don’t have a diploma. There’s not a lot of things that really support my argument, so why am I trying to tell everyone that making money online is easy, so this is where today’s article comes in, where I’m going to kind of share the three kind of main reasons: why I don’t Think being an influencer are sustainable, but at the end of this article you’re going to learn of how you can make a scene, we won’t tell your parents that this is not a phase.

It’s an actual career you want to pursue then keep on reading alright. So I actually have my notes for today, I’m kind of sec. You guys so bear with me alright. So the first thing about why I think being a father is unsustainable, is your paycheck is literally based on your results, not about how much you work. So with that being said, you know typically, when you’re at a standard job you get paid to do a standard procedure over and over again it’s just what you do now when you’re someone who’s entrepreneur or you have a business, you don’t get paid to work more.

You get paid if you bring results. If you bring data, if you bring brand deals in right, so it’s just very, very inconsistent, so some months you can make, for example, one month I how personal yeah there was one point in 2018, where I made like literally $ 500. Its money is really hard for me to talk about, but I know this might be helpful to someone. So let me share with you guys. There are some months when I would make enough to like pay rent and go by and there’s some buds where I get to fucking like travel the world.

So what I’m saying is it’s a blessing, but it’s also unsustainable, where you don’t know when your next paycheck is going to happen, you are just taking a huge risk and with that being said, what happens is not necessarily the money part. It’s a problem like I generally have excitement a thrill when it comes to money, because I know that I can work towards it. The problem I have is the mental fuck.

You get the fact that you have to be working. You have to hustle if you’re, not grinding, you’re, not successful, and this culture tells us to work harder, because what the fuck are going to do. We need to have a job right so, like I just feel like. We have pressure on ourselves to make more money than the last month and you have to keep working because on its journey, I’m Gary. If he will yell at you, if you don’t and I’ve been there, you guys I’ve been there like I’m actually like physically sick right now.

But I can’t bring myself to rest because I just feel guilty, because I should be making this time to be productive and fucking. Here I am making a YouTube article shit but anyways besides the fact I’m going to do the example about this, because I’m trying to get better it’s just so addicting to coffee hustle, because you just want to top every month each month is a competition. Each time you trying to work harder to prove someone wrong and at the end of the day you just feel so tired and burnt out.

That’s just the first thing like not the fact that you know money comes and goes. You think I feel like the people. Don’t talk about is the mental capacity that it is. It’s not sustainable for your mind to always top each month to work harder than last month, because you didn’t get paid that well, you know what I mean like: that’s where you feel like it’s really toxic and no one really talks about alright.

So the second thing, the fact that Instagram and YouTube owns your data, so they can decide to delete your entire audience space if you’re not on the internet, you’re, invisible and now a lot of you guys are you know, saying like J, like your Instagram, won’t delete Social media will be, you know, forever the hold up Sally. Okay, that’s why you thought I have a friend, I’m Cameron. He had. He had 84 thousand followers on Instagram, not even that he built a company on his social media and he’s employing people he’s.

You know people are dependent on it for income he’s making a brand love that, but Facebook deleted his Instagram account and wiped out this entire business. He built okay, I don’t know about you, but imagine Instagram or YouTube just one day just hitting delete and all I caught you built is gone. They know it’s rare to happen, but it literally happened to my family Cameron, so it could literally happen to you.

So this is where I think, Instagram or YouTube is all sustainable, because we don’t own our data. We can be invisible to the audience. We can’t afford, like that. It’s just scary to think that not a lot of people are thinking about. You know converting their followers. It’s a email list or taking their audience and converting it into you know their own traffic and own data, which I’ll get into later.

It happens to more people than you think. Alright, the last third thing fact that bacon, if was, is not sustainable because you are alone so here’s a personal story. I left high school with a lot of people to prove wrong, or so I thought I have to prove my teachers, my friends, because I dropped out of high school. It was a right decision, so you know what let me show you. This idea that I need a work hard and build a bigger brand, just because I need to show that this was the right decision is where I like.

You get really isolated because, when you’re trying to prove everyone wrong, you just kind of put yourself in a room and just put your head down to work. You edit your articles, you know you just don’t really talk to anyone, you just like do it. Let me tell you that’s what I did for a you’re like what my pears would go out. I would just be the garage, you know, editing YouTube articles. So in the very beginning, it’s fucking hard, but the moment you started scaling your business.

You know. Do we get a loan, we’ll kill you? I don’t want to give up creative freedom, so why would I get an editor, but I realize it’s crucial for me to grow it’s crucial for me to take that time and use it what’s more important, which is strategy. It’s like the vision, because, if you’re constantly implementing you’re working, not on your business, you’re working and your business and I feel like that’s what can kill you, because the minute you just are being your old employee kind of defeats, the purpose of building a brand, because You want to be your own boss, what a fucking fire Lamborghini and do your shit on, and this just kind of brings it to my last point and just to wrap it all up like.

I feel like the fact that we’re constantly trying to prove people wrong, maybe we’re. I don’t know fucking afraid that it’s traps going to delete our data just makes us really extra questioned if this is really going to work out, and maybe I’m a dark place right now, because I’m sick comment below, if you want to hear a story type of These more personal situations – I don’t know if it’s valuable we’ve encouraged you not to be afraid about the IT that it’s all sustainable.

I just want you to be aware that it’s a possibility – and I feel like people, are just like being too optimistic and aren’t saying the truth, and I don’t want to be fucking honest if you want to make youtube articles and build a career, because you see It happen for a lot of people, then fucking do it but realize it’s not just lollipops and candy. Sometimes you can get really really burnt out and I want to let you know that I’m here for you.

I think one of the things I’m just super excited to just talk about is the fact that I don’t think we’re alone anymore, where I really wanted to kind of bring a solution and leave off. Is this so? Yes, maybe making soy content isn’t sustainable, but an entrepreneur and a business person with attention fuck yeah. It is the best. Like example I have of this – is Geoffrey star. You know he’s a makeup artist that makes YouTube articles, but he also has a cosmetic brand.

He invests, he has property, maybe this entire social media thing is. You know unsustainable, like that teacher said, you know physically monetarily, but the truth is if you make some money and you invest in right spots and you keep going and you don’t give up. I think this is such a fucking, sustainable idea. People who have college degrees still can’t get to play a job, it’s just super shot and competitive with the rise of Technology.

You know what no one’s fucking safe. So if you’re reading this article and you’re looking for a sign to start your blog or just just fucking, go after your dreams do it, you don’t have anything to lose right. So that might be really much. But you guys get what I’m saying. I know a lot of people are going to like this, but like robots and Technology can automate your job, but kind of just boils down to this point that sometimes not taking your risk is the biggest risk you can take because, yes, I just named three points On my scared of shit out of you, people that have regular sustain jobs also have their own problems.

So there’s really no way to escape this and I just feel like being accepted of where we are and how good we have it and just being fucking thankful is so important. I know this article might sound like I’m complaining, I’m a truly am not I’m so thankful. You guys are here. I want you guys to take a risk. You know what just go out there and try it out and realize that there is a possibility of failure, but without risk.

What’s the point feel like that’s the reason why we do what we do is because we know that I might not work going there and the process is why we love it and that is called fucking passion all right guys thanks so much for reading this rant. If you liked this article, give this article a like subscribe for, more typically don’t make these articles, but if you’d like to stay along for the journey, I’d be really appreciated of it and I’ll catch.

I truly want to encourage anyone who wants to start a career, because you should never let anyone tell you. No I’ve been told no so many times for my teachers for my friends that when I dropped out of school last year, I was just like fuck it.

Alright guys, I love you so much domination, we’re repping the merge. I can’t wait to reply to every single comment. Let’s chat, could you go to the next one? Goodbye
