Google AdWords Keyword Tool – Exact Matching and Exporting – Optimized for PPC

This is uh. This is our website. I’m going to go to a home page okay. So there is the site, earth grid, calm and when I’m now goos I’m going to go into google and i’m going to type in Google Adwords Keyword tool or you can just Google Google Adwords Keyword tool. Okay. Now it gets you right into the Google AdWords tool. So this is some stuff that you probably most people, will basically just type a word or phrase in here.

What I’m going to do is I’m going to take this page right here now, i’m going to copy, because our homepage right, i’m just going to paste that right in this box under the website field. Now you can do this with any website any competitor, any product that you’re trying to sell you just pop in the URL of the website, supposing you’re selling a clickbank product just pop into you or all that what’s going to do, is it’s going to fetch all The keywords right from that site and populate the keyword list down below now.

The other thing you want to do is you see where it says broad. I want you to uncheck that and go to exact we’re going to uncheck. You have to actually click exact before you can uncheck broad, but I want you to emphasize this thing. It says exact right over here, okay and so then I’m going to go over here and I’m the type in the key. I hate these captions there we go now you see. What’s really cool is we got all these keywords? Build a website make a website domain, name, search, free web site hosting.

The next thing you want to do is go over here and search by global monthly searches, and you see web hosting. This is how many times per month, people are searching for the exact phrase. Now, if I go too broad – and I do it again – you see you have a website – 100 million websites online website, all that data is kind of useless, because it’s so broad and so vast. You probably won’t even do this. What are you doing, PPC or any kind of campaign? What I like to do is uncheck the broad and just go and exact, and that tells you exactly: okay, there’s 135,000 people searching for web hosting every month, website, design, website, templates domain names, blah blah blah blah blah all right, that’s good! Then what you can do now um, I let’s see if I can do this, I’m going to go grab all this stuff cuz.

You know, google won’t let you actually export this stuff, but you can copy that to your clipboard and then I’m going to tell you you know you want to fire up a very free tool called open office. You don’t have already have it already installed it to go to openoffice.Org, okay, we’re already five minutes through it. I’m almost done demonstrating what I was going to show you, which is really cool. This is from a 90 minute article, and this is all I learned from this 90 minute article.

So one of the things I’m working on here is delivering 10 minute. Quick BAM apply it stop this article. If you want to and go back, go to openoffice.Org and download this product, it’s a free product, it you know. If you have office, you can do that too, but it may not. You know I find that open office works better for by copying and pasting stuff. In that you like lift it from somewhere else without getting all the forest, so I’m going to go here to UM to op OpenOffice calc.

If you could also use a google docs as well fill the other key here is in there yeah yeah. You could use google docs, but I don’t necessarily want to let Google know that I’m lifting all either because all the London up – and I also what I’m trying to do – is keep a local copy of it. So, okay, so now I have my spreadsheet here and the first call of a ducking, so I could just delete that and I can expand this column out right here and now here I got all my statistics right, so I’ve got my 16 keywords.

This is how to 35,000 local 40,000 okay and now, if I want to do a PPC campaign, I now know what keywords to go after all right. So then I could save this. I’m just going to save this to my desktop and i’m going to call this a web hosting keywords and we’ll go back to that now. I’ve got now got all my keywords that I’m going to go after all right, so this is very, very useful because then the other thing is they: supposing, if you, if you’re buying a some pay-per-click ads, all you need to do is copy this column, and then You could open up like notepad, okay, paste it in right.

What happened there copy what the heck’s going on? Oh, it’s at the very bottom there. It is see that now I have all these keywords now you can grab these keywords and paste them into your PPC campaign and by those keywords, and we can do another training, how not you how to do paid advertising that wasn’t the purpose of this. I just want to show you how to use Adwords and what the distinction is now.

Why would you want to use AdWords? Well, generally speaking, if you don’t have a keyword, that’s at least like 30 or 40 thousand dollar, thirty dollar thirty or forty thousand s articles like 30 or 40 thousand searches per month. It’s probably not worth your time to write a blog post to really kind of focus on that keyword, even with PPC, alright. So on any questions I’m going to this is what I want to impart to you.

It’s a very, very simple thing. Just to summarize again number one pop in URL or you can put in the word or phrase here, but I like tears because if Dutchess all the key words right from the site. So if you’re, if, let’s say, for example, you’re writing a book and – and you want to come up with some keyword, ideas for your book will find a competitor’s book that the best seller pop those keywords in there and then use this to figure out what keywords You want to target for not just for getting your basic broad you’re, giving your broad-based keywords down and then i’m going to pick something like something in the thirty forty thousand range.

Something like you know, create a website. Okay and then i’m going to go on to the next tool with that n equal any questions before we uh that useful. Yes, that’s great, i’m sure it is alright. So, if you’re reading this article I’d like you to take action – and none of this really matters, if you don’t have a reason for using it, so if you’re selling an affiliate product, you want to use this information to buy some ads takes, you know, take some Kind of action by those ads or contact the person that sent you to this article so that they can show you a little bit more about how to do uh how to apply this to your business.

How To Grow a Business Online (Various Marketing Strategies)

So this afternoon I will give you my top six tips for creating a simple online marketing strategy. My first tip is to make use of all of the masses of free web applications which are available out there and when I say all of them, I say focus specifically on Google, because Google’s spent billions of dollars developing a range of different apps, which are all Geared around kind of growing your business and shouting about what you do so um, google, it takes about ninety percent of the search engine traffic across all of the search engines.

This is particularly in the UK, so it only makes sense that you’re there’s no coincidence that, if you’re making use of Google’s other apps that it might actually boost your organic search engine ranking. So there are things that you can do like, and Google use google maps and google places or google for business those all of that and tools all allowing you to create a profile for your business upload, your logo, upload your contact details, opening hours put a brief And description about your business in there and send a link back to your website, you can use google analytics to analyze and how much traffic is coming through your site and set up goal.

Conversions for example, and also i’ve discovered that google analytics is quite a nice. Quick easy way of getting new pages on your website listed within its organic search engine index. So if you’ve got google analytics installed on your site, all you’ve got to do is browse to that page once it goes live and google and after a couple of days, will automatically pick up that page and add it into its index and also as another great Web tool, which Google’s critical google webmaster tools and you may have come across if you’re, using analytics something called the not provided and keyword in your list of it’s.

Probably at the top of your list of keywords that people are putting into the search engines. To find your website and and not provide, it basically means that and it’s hidden by mind and a secure certificate. So he put in a search into Google and you’re logged into Google’s Google Chrome, for example. It will. It does a lot of that securely and say then, when you search for a and end up on a website that search keyword isn’t passed to that website, because it goes through a secure layer.

What Google Webmaster Tools and does? Is it acts before and you go through to your website and it gives you a list of those keywords so using analytics and webmaster tools together is a with great way of just analyzing what keywords people are actually searching for and landing on your website. So my second tip is to use all of the various social media tools, for example, to complete your online business profile.

So the big four we got, google+ facebook, linkedin and twitter definitely get out even if you’re not intending to use them and at least get out there like Kenny’s. These are tools which people have spent billions of dollars on like creating like and they’re all out there. For you to use for free – and the key thing is that you can put your business name on there and a link back to your website and even if you don’t post to post, tweets regular, your and post status updates on facebook regularly.

Just having those profiles. There is going to raise your and your your profile and your PageRank cuz they’re, all free links back to your website and there are tons. There are hundreds of different social media applications out there beyond the big four like and use as many as are actually applicable to your business. So, for example, if your business is very like and image led if you’re a photographer, for example, you could be making use of things like Instagram and Flickr if you’ve designed that and creative you could look at dribble and Instagram again is appropriate for that.

So make sure the social media profiles you’re setting up are appropriate for your business equity, that again they’re free tools and and other people do use them. So it might be that if you don’t use, have a linkedin profile, you’re missing out and a good opportunity to network with other local business owners in your area. So it’s a good way for other customers to find you online. So do your best to make use of all of those different social media platforms and then just make sure that you do update them regularly.

There will be other people and other business owners using them. So, even if you don’t believe in it, you might see an opportunity there that you didn’t realize before my third tip is and make sure you create a fantastic online portfolio for your business and then get reviews again. Google is starting to build in this element of social review into it and into its PageRank, so make sure that and you’re getting reviews on things like and Facebook and Google+, for example, you can also use other review tools like Trustpilot.

What it does is it showcases? Your capabilities and your best work on your website and it attracts lead back to you so that, hopefully, and if your competitors aren’t doing this is going to make you stand out above your competitors and the more reviews that you get on those those three tools which I mentioned just now, then, the higher up you like me to be on Google’s organic rankings. Ultimately, what those organic rankings are going to mean is more traffic to your site, hopefully more sales, so it kind of makes logical sense that you want to be getting reviews and testimonials and publishing min and as many places as possible.

What this also does is, when somebody lands on your website or sees those reviews, it just builds trust with potential customers. My fourth tip is to share your knowledge and share your know how a lot of people hold back from sharing their their IP, because they think that somebody’s going to steal it and what? What exactly you afraid of? If you think that something’s going to steal your ideas, you afraid they’re going to do it better than you, but likely it is.

They probably can’t so by sharing you’ll know how it presents yourself as an expert within your field and, ultimately, what it will do. Is it will draw customers to you because your customers and sorry not your customers, your competitors, aren’t likely to be giving away free information. This again makes you stand out from the crowd and, and it just builds up that level of trust don’t be afraid to give away free advice to people whether you meet them, if you’re doing blogging, if you want to chop stuff up onto YouTube, give away free Advice what it does it just demonstrates the honest person who just wants to help other people help your customers and and what happen is it’ll, encourage referrals back to you and the likelihood is that you know you’re, probably very good, at what you do and even if You give away you’ll know how either your competitors or potential customers they’re not going to be able to replicate your methods and implement it as well as you actually could.

My fifth tip is to get moves away from the organic side of things, but perhaps invest in some pay for online marketing. Ppc is a good way of kind of bolstering your organic advertising. That’s going on already and and when you’ve got particularly quiet periods. You can invest a bit of money and PPC to drive actual traffic to your website and you can look at tools like retargeting, which sits inside and Google AdWords as a way of re-engaging potential customers who displayed interest in your products through your website.

They’ve left the site and then it’s a bit creepy, but the the pic you’ve put a pixel on their computer and you follow them around. They see your ad and then they realize they’ve made a mistake. Come back to your website and that’s where they end up. Buying your products from so retargeting is really important, and then, finally, you want to hire professionals for anything that you feel you. You can’t do well yourself, so see a lot of people trying to manage, like Google, PP, Google and AdWords campaign and just spunking loads of money on Google adverts and then wondering why it’s all gone wrong and why they’ve wasted their money.

And it’s because there are actually experts out there who do. Google, PPC advertising, facebook, advertising and things like that. And yes, you have to pay for them, but it’s what you get back in return, they’re experts in their field and will probably have a much better idea about how to make the most that some nice you’re targeting and and it will just save you money and And a lot of them will have guarantee so that, if they haven’t generated the leads which they say they’re going to generate for you within a certain specified amount of time, you don’t actually have to pay them so find somebody who is on a commission only basis In order to drive traffic back to your website, so to summarize, those key points tip number one make use of all the free web applications that are out there, especially the Google ones, because it will help your page rank tip number two make sure you complete.

All of the online and business profiles and through social media tools, which are available tip, number three, create an online portfolio, get reviews and that social proof is invaluable. Make sure that you’re sharing knowledge and in amongst your peers and to potential customers and invest in some paid for online and marketing as well. Google PPC facebook advertising, for example, and finally make sure that your hiring professionals for anything that you’re not competent at and so hopefully you found some of those tips really AM helpful and enjoyable.

INSTAGRAM MARKETING STRATEGY FOR 2020 & BEYOND | Adam Erhart

If you do it right, it can also be one of the most profitable investments ever and that's why, in this post, I'm going to be breaking down an Instagram marketing strategy that will not only work today but will serve you for years to come. Let's get to it: This marketing idea is not some cheap sleazy idea, that's going to allow you to buy followers or just fake your way to success.

Instagram marketing logo

So, if that's what you're looking for you're going to be sorely disappointed by this article, but on the other hand, if you want to build a real Business, develop a loyal following and learn skills that will serve you for years to come. Well then, this is for you and you're going to want to stick around because that's what this article is all about: a strategy that is so simple and yet so hard that even the most battle-seasoned social media marketers fear the challenge.

I am a pilot

I'm talking about mastering the six pillars of Instagram marketing, but before we dive in. First a story to tie this all together. Years ago, I used to be a Business jet pilot and when you're a pilot, the sole goal or the sole way that you build experience and essentially ascend the ranks of the pilot hood. Is to build hours. They're called hours because they're the number of hours that you spend flying a plane more hours equals more experience which tends to equal more dollars.

Are you looking for an experienced WordPress management company?

This is great in theory, and the goal of every new pilot is to build up as many hours as quickly as possible, but there does come a problem if and when you decide that you want to leave the aviation industry and start a business or even get a different job. A job that is outside of aviation, nobody cares about your hours. Like literally nobody. I don't think anybody has ever asked me how many hours I've flown. That's, because hours are non-transferable and they're really only relevant to the aviation industry.

Now, that's not to say that everything I did in aviation is non-transferable after. I learn some incredibly valuable skills that really set me up for success when it came to starting my own business and building up a number of different, very successful agencies for one. I learned that I had to be a hundred percent accountable and that's what I now demand from my marketing, ensuring that it's a hundred percent accountable to what I want it to do.

Operating procedures are valuable

I also learned the importance of following systems setting up procedures and standard operating procedures or SOPs and their value in running a Business. I'm also now able to beat pretty much anybody at flight simulator yeah, I'm kidding on that one, I'm pretty much terrible at the flight simulator. There's basically, no transference from flying a real plane to flying flight simulator turns out real planes, and games are very different how they fly and that's why, in this post, I don't want to equip you with non-transferable skills, skills that are only going to last.

Instagram Platform

The Instagram Platform

You inside the Instagram platform – rather I want to give you a number of different skills that you're going to be able to take across all of your marketing across all of your Business and across any new social media network. Whatever comes up again. But it's not just about the future. It's also about the present and that's why, when you learn and when you master when you deploy the skills that I'm about to share with you now. Your Instagram marketing results have nowhere to go, but up so with all that said, let's dive right in.

Marketing videos with Instagram

The first Instagram marketing pillar, that you need to learn how to create a video. You need to love these videos and master them. Probably no surprise that people love video, whether we're talking about it in the feed, whether we're talking about in Instagram stories, whether we're talking about it with lives which we're going to cover later. People just like consuming video. This is why, if you want your Instagram to grow, if you want to attract more people to your Business, if you want to build up an authority brand or anything like that, you're going to need to create more and ideally better, video content as often and as much as possible. I appreciate it is a little overwhelming to start, especially if you've never done video content, but fortunately it doesn't have to be overly produced.

Hollywood style, cinematic productions or anything like that. You can literally just grab your phone hit record and start there. Seriously, we've seen a huge change and a really positive trend away from hyper polished in just amazingly beautiful video and towards more raw and authentic and real videos. So don't let technology or your lack of editing or your lack of a really expensive camera or any of that stuff? Stop you from again just grabbing your phone hit and record telling your story.

Post audio content

Alright, the next pillar is a little bit weird, because Instagram isn't necessarily known for this, but I'm talking about audio and audio content. We're already starting to see this trend on other social media blogs, whether we're talking about YouTube or even face people are reading articles, but they're not really reading they're, just listening to the audio stuff. This is why learning to use and to leverage, audio content inside Instagram and, of course, on other platforms later as well, is a really valuable skill to have now.

microphone for audio content

I can already hear some of the kickback I mean, after all, Instagram isn't a podcast. It's not really an audio blog, it's pretty visual. Well, fortunately, there are companies that allow you to take audio clips and create audiograms, or essentially those things that you might see in your feed, sometimes which are really just kind of squiggly lines showing off sound waves with maybe a simple picture, or maybe even a web address in the background, or if even that sounds too complicated, you could just make a post and then really focus in on the audio and on the content and on the words or the music or whatever. The message is that people are going to hear with their ears instead of with their eyes. I guess you don't hear things with your eyes anyway.

Text within your posts

Let's move on to the next pillar, which is all about text, probably no secret here, but the text is one of the greatest skills that you could ever hope to master when it comes to marketing because it's been around forever. I guess. That's totally not true something around forever. It's been around for thousands and thousands of years and the written word well. That's certainly been around since the Gutenberg press really made it available to everybody, but let's not make this a history lesson.

Rather, let's just focus in on the importance of text and its value in Instagram and, of course, on other platforms as well. I'm talking about the captions that you write with your posts, I'm talking about any of the titles or the captions that you put on your stories anytime, that you're using words the written word or the typed word. I guess! Well, that's all text-based marketing and it's so really effective and really easy to do. Of course it's harder to master and that's why you want to spend some time practicing really honing your craft, trying to write captions that are more descriptive and more enthralling and more interesting and get people to take a certain action. And the same can be said when we're talking about stories trying to write more compelling titles or compelling the smaller captions and really trying to say a whole lot more in a whole lot less just because you don't have that much space.

High-quality photos are a must

Okay, let's move on to the fourth pillar, which is what Instagram is known for and that's all about really high-quality images. When it comes to Instagram. There is no shortage of different ideas and inspiration that you can get from what kind of images are going to work best for you and for your Business. We can use things like quote cards. We can use stock photos, ideally not, but you could use them.

You can take your own shots, you can get professional shots done, you can have graphics made. You can have pretty much anything that you can think of made up into an image or into a graphic for posting. This gives you a huge amount of creativity and the ability to really test all sorts of different stuff to find out what style resonates best with you and with your market and with your Business and with your feet in general.

Just remember that one of the most important things that you could ever hope to do with your images is to really grab someone's attention to catch their eye and to pull them in, so that they'll eventually read your caption, where you can do the rest of your convincing and your persuading and your influencing that's huge, like important. The point of your image should be to stop the scroll.

Stop somebody from just mindlessly whipping, through their feed, get their attention, get them to read your caption, so you can do your influencing and your persuading they're now just like. There are thousands of different styles and ideas that you could use and draw inspiration from. Well, there's an equal amount of tools and software and ways to design these from free tools like found on Google to paid tools like Photoshop. You really just have to pick whichever is going to work best for you, your budget and your Business.

Instagram Live

All right. Let's talk about the next pillar, which is one of the most frightening of all for people, and that is IG, live or Instagram live. Essentially, the ability to hit live and then go live to the whole world, or at least to your following. This is one of the greatest tools that you could use when it comes to building up your brand and building up your self-confidence, because, especially when you're first getting started, hitting that live button is terrifying.

I remember the first time I ever went live on. Periscope, which rested soul is now gone. I remember hitting that live button and feeling immediate fear, immediate dread and my mouth going dry as a cotton ball. It was not my proudest moment, but I recovered had a sip of water and carried on through, even though I think, like three people maybe showed up to it. The point is, is that it started to build up a habit and a routine, and it started to allow me to realize that this wasn't so scary and it was actually kind of cool really fun.

It's also amazing practice for thinking on your toes and developing the ability to answer questions on the fly and really to engage in risk with your community and with your followers. If you ever have any desire any intention to get into something like public speaking or putting on workshops well, this is a great way to practice in a pretty low risk and safe environment because follows fills, you can just turn it off.

Hey, where'd, Adam! Go all right: let's talk about the next pillar, which is DMS or direct messages. Now Instagram has one of the best DM platforms available today and it's really growing in popularity, especially as we're reading organic reach, meaning the stuff that you put out there, just not seeing the same amount of people well as that sort of declines. The importance of building up connection and community and having those conversations in the DMS is growing in importance.

The important thing that I want you to take away when it comes to using direct messages when it comes to DMS is that this is a very valid feature to have real, genuine conversations with real people. This is not a great place to automate and throw in BOTS and throw in all sorts of fake marketing materials, rather to allocate as much time as is reasonable to have conversations with your tribe, with your following with your audience and with your customers.

A lot of business can and will continue to go down in the DM. So if that's part of your strategy make sure to spend some time there. Alright, the next thing you're going to want to do is to check out the article. I have linked up right here on Instagram marketing for small business, which is going to give you even more strategies so check that out now and I'll see you in the next episode. Consistency: clarity and congruence consistency means that you're applying a regular schedule, meaning you're posting regularly you're checking
