Episode 16: Where to Start with a Blog Content Strategy | Tuesday Tips

I also thought it’d be really appropriate to shoot from my son’s room as he’s building a Lego set, you know, creating a blog, creating a blog strategy is really like building Legos. Every piece of the strategy has a purpose and if you’re missing certain pieces, you know the end result is not going to be as good.

So when you’re, considering this type of marketing number one make sure that the writer understands the voice of the company and really the direction and what’s valuable to your brand. Secondly, make sure that they understand SEO and how to analyze, where your customers are and really how to speak to them in a certain way, instead of just the only voice, they know a lot of people hire writers that only know how to speak in their voice.

Number three be able to break down that blog, that form of content into multiple pieces. You can promote over a long period of time, purposeful with everything you do.

An interview with Yannis Larios, Business Development Director of Viva Wallet

It’s about, pin and glass. It’s how a small terminal can change the way you accept cards, it’s small, its light, it’s very cheap, and this change is what we knew up to now on how your accept cards we’ve a wallet of our seat across Europe. We’ve our wallet is offering European merchants a bank in a box which means we are offering card acceptance, an Iban account and the debit business card, all at your own country, which means, if you are a Belgian merchant.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jpMdAS8UWv0

You get a Belgian Ivan if you’re a few gamers and you get the UK, I won. Everything is customized to each and every European country. That’s what we offer across Europe. Viva bullet has built its own infrastructure from end to end, so it relies on nor third parties, it’s doing everything by by itself, so it is able to provide European merchants services like eibon’s card acquiring and card issuing, based on its own infrastructure.

The unique thing about with a wallet is that it does that on upon European level, but it customizes the service at each and every country as it goes. There are new trends in financial industry. One of them is going lighter and cheaper with the card terminals. The other is to harness all this data about payments, and the other thing is to combine acquiring an issuing. There are not different services, you have to combine them.

You have to provide new things to the merchants. This is what we are doing.

Starting a business is not easy! Think about who will be working on your digital image. Hiring a good webmaster will help!

2 Ways To Increase Your Income

I just bought in Virginia long-term, real estate investment that I just made it’s cool down. There it’s got a log cabin from the 1830s on it, but here’s my answer for most people there’s a few exceptions. I recommend two things number one create your own business, even if it’s only part-time and you have another career, never rely on only one source of income.

It’s too dangerous, don’t put all your eggs in one basket, number two take the profits or some of the profits and invest them in real estate. I’ve always been a part-time real estate. Investor. I’ve never been a full-time because I’ve always been doing businesses that have created the cash flow. But then you invest in real estate. Why real estate well they’re, not making any more of it? That’s what they say about land in real estate, so the demand will go up, as the human population goes up.

Second thing is: everybody needs a place to stay. It’s the most in-demand business that you can get in, so there’s been more millionaires created by real estate. In a lot of the programs that I create online, the free ones, the paid ones that I have are on those two subjects you know creating a business. It’s multiple ways to do it. I’ve been doing teaching people how to make money with social media.

How to run social media for businesses and get them to pay you one to ten thousand dollars a month. It’s been working amazing, you probably on my snapchat and Instagram all the stories of people’s success. Now not everybody’s successful. My lawyers want me to say that some people don’t make any money. Some people don’t put in the time, but it works for a lot of people that actually put in the time and don’t procrastinate fall through, and then I’ve also got this real estate program that I built with a full-time, real estate, investor Kohl, hat or one of My business partners on how you can invest in real estate and even start because the thing is you’ve got to start somewhere.

You know. So if you want to learn more about my programs, I’m going to put a link below or above you can start out with some free training on how to start your own business. I recommend, if you don’t know what to do. Try social media social media is a great way to make money and I’ll show you how you can get small businesses where, where you live or other places to pay you to one to ten grand a month to manage their Instagram their Twitter do some article stuff Form they don’t know how to do it.

They’ll pay, you so click the link above or below, and it’s absolutely free. You don’t got to put the credit card in you can get started with the free training. I also have some paid courses you can do if you’re really interested. Let’s start with the free stuff, see if it interests you don’t procrastinate, make sure you invest in real assets like land businesses, not just things that restaurant and appreciate.

Where else all you’ll do is make other people wealthy, you know that’s what most people do they buy fast food that make their landlord wealthy and there’s nothing wrong with that and stages. But you got to have a long term plan. That’s beyond that! So just get your first property and there’s a way right now, there’s a trend, a new trend, relatively new, where you can flip homes without even owning them.

So if you don’t have much, cash can actually flip the property is called wholesaling. I just call it to keep it simple: flipping homes flipping real estate contracts, you flip the contract. You only have to own the land. Sometimes you want to own the land. Sometimes you just flip the real estate contract with somebody else who will actually do it and you can do that with very little money and you don’t need a great credit score stuff like that.

So that’s my advice get out. There create some extra cash flow and extra source of income. Don’t just rely on one and number two buy a house, get a rental property can be a cheap little house. So if you want to learn more about this click, the link below you’ll see it should be somewhere here, two different programs. You can learn about both of them or just one of them. I highly recommend you think consider either making money with social media.

It’s one of the cutting-edge trends or with real estate. Real estate is old school, but old school sometimes is the best. You know so. Yeah click the link above or below in the middle of us like Kansas and stuff people buying houses, 40, 50. 60 grand. You know that are returning. People are paying rent six seven, eight hundred bucks on it. Now you got ta look for the deals because you can move lose money in real estate, but – and I want put a link below to these courses.

Okay, I highly recommend click on them. I got two courses – social media marketing agency, that interest. You start your own business, part-time, get businesses to pay you one to ten grand a month, and I also have another course. This real estate, flipping program click the link. It’s absolutely free. I got free training on my website. You can start out with the free training. If you’re very interested.

I got some paid advanced VIP training. You can do too, so click the link below or above and yeah I’ll see you over my website.

3 Weapons You Can Train With Inside

The social distancing thing is kind of screwing a ton of stuff up, but I want to kind of bring you guys something to do to fight off that boredom and I’m going to talk up and that’s why I’m going to talk about some weapons that you can Still practice with even locked inside of your house, I know not.

Everyone has giant rooms or backyards even to practice things like bo staff and swords and stuff like that. So I’m going to give you guys a couple different things and you can get right now and practice with inside your own house inside your own room, like I can in my room. So with that said, let’s run that intro. So for the first one we’re going to have our magnetic commas that I got from Tiffany.

Honestly, all of these weapons are from 10th degree weaponry. This actually wasn’t suggested by them, but I just happen to have these weapons tip the groove up for me, so I’ll leave links for all the weapons downes gets in if you’re interested, but our kama. Specifically, these magnetic commas – are small handheld little like sights. Basically, you can use to practice your strikes and finger spins and thumb spins and, while all those rolls they even even even small and light enough to be able to toss inside without really causing damage to anything, you would have to try really hard to try to Break a window or a dental wall with these things, these things bounce off of most subjects, most objects on the licensed subjects, but I mean they would bounce off of most people too.

So this that makes it very you know easy and safe to use in doors. Whew, that was good, and so, if you want really what I believe is welcome to you, while you’re inside your house practicing. This is a great choice. This allows you to get ambidextrous and allows you to work with something. You know that’s blended, which is just really cool to work with that’s a sharp outfit Chan, careful you could puncture the hull of an empire class fire nation battleship, leaving thousands to drown at sea because it’s so sharp.

Next we have our knife shucks now nunchucks are a fan fave weapon from so many people, everyone and their mother has seen people use nunchucks or try to use nunchucks or something to in that effect. Now, here’s the thing nunchucks are a little different people that don’t really know how to use nunchucks oftentimes will spin really high in the air and that can damaged things like ceiling fans or light pictures and stuff like that.

So I suggest this for more people that have actually used nunchucks at some point in their career or aren’t new to using weapons in general. That will usually be enough to be able to control your weapon at a height that is safe, for you know where you’re at now, these being slightly heavier due to a metal chain. You have to be a little bit careful when you’re, spinning it nice and fast. These can slip out of your hands and damage things like Windows, but as long as you, you know, know what you’re doing and have weapon experience again.

This one requires a little bit of weapon experience to use inside at least use inside where the windows are around, but when you don’t break any windows but other than windows. These are small weapons that can be used in a small space to practice on your hand-eye coordination. Really. Well, that’s actually what these were designed for to work on a samurai’s can’t eye coordination. It’s not it’s not actually designed for a weapon, and I talk about that.

In my article about these, so if you want to know more about these specifically nut beams, but these types of weapons specifically definitely check out that article but time to move on to the next weapon in the last one. But it’s going to be the most advanced weapon to practice on and that is beside the size. Actually, my favorite weapon on this list. I have practice sized for years and I absolutely love them.

I love you know, spinning them around. I love tricking with them doing stuff like this is what I do while I’m reading TV. I absolutely love it, but these things are dangerous, they’re completely metal, unlike the commas and nunchucks, who were mostly plastic or carbon fiber, and so because of that this going out a window will definitely break it. Like that’s, that’s going to happen, and so this is definitely going to be more advance out of the three options for you to practice again: they’re small well, most of us on the base, they’re, small and easy to port they’re, small and easy to use in a Small space, so that means you can chop punch and do all your spins in a small space, but messing up is you know a problem? So only do it if you have practiced with you Cluckers.

These are again one of my favorite weapons to practice, and always my go-to when I’m inside a house practicing, because I have spent time and learning how to control it fairly well compared to your average person. But if that is not you, you don’t have control of your weapons. It’s okay to practice these, but you don’t want to do those dangerous, tosses and and those spins, and all that stuff that you you know, can it lose control of your weapon, for that is really what I’m trying to get across the the more advanced a weapon Is means it’s easier to break stuff when you lose control and you don’t want that because you’re inside so again use these, be smart about it and use your experience level and don’t go above what your experience level is.

Alright guys. I hope you enjoyed this little article as a little break from the norm. If you want to know, if you want to see more articles similar to this, let me know give me some ideas down the comments, but I’m actually working on a mini series that breaks down and teaches you and gives you guys a workout that you can do At home to turn you into different, you know subtopics, so I have a series specifically talking about Power Rangers and Jedi coming up very soon.

That will teach you how to train your body to become like a power engine to fight like a Power Ranger and to do parkour and freerunning like a power and I’ll have the same miniseries for Jedi and other things in the future. If that’s, what you want to see, if you guys are interested in that kind of thing, so be looking for that definitely check out all the links down below to all the different weapons that we talked about today.

If you are interested and a couple other things like my desk – or maybe some and my patron on all that stuff, so if any of that interests you it’s all down below but until next time, thank you guys for reading, because my name is Vijay more. This is the modern India and I’m out you

Building your Brand & Start Branding – SolomoBox

It’s something that you definitely need to know and it’s a question that comes up quite a bit because there’s so much conflicting information out there, and so I really wanted to lay it out step by step and give you a blueprint. The first step in building a brand is to pick a domain name. You want to keep the domain short and sweet.

What I mean by this is every time a customer comes to your domain. They got ta type in your URL or click a link if they have to type in your URL. Let’s not make it something: that’s a hundred characters, long right, let’s keep that as short as possible and make it as sweet as possible to use keywords. For instance, if you’re a dog groomer, possibly in LA maybe a li grooming, there’s all sorts of options and things that you may want to consider, but do your research look around and see what’s available for your business in your area, step 2? We move on to the web site, there are several different types of web sites and I can go on for days.

The first thing you need to know is that there’s three major categories: there’s drag-and-drop editors, which are the entry-level phase. You’ve got Wix Weebly Storify, where space just to name a few, and what these provide are cheap, free solutions to create website they’re, simple, they’re, easy to develop and they’re going to get the basic necessity done. This is great for people that are on a budget people that don’t really have an expertise or any sort of knowledge and really just need a website.

The second type is going to be a hosted CMS and a CMS. The content management. This would apply to WordPress or Joomla Drupal. These systems are pretty robust, they come pretty standard out of the box and then from there, for instance, WordPress has millions of plugins. You can add and customize the functionality of your WordPress to meet your needs as a business owner. They are a little bit more in-depth than a drag-and-drop editor, but they provide all of the functionality that may be needed now and in the future.

Most websites built online are done with the CMS system. The third option is going with a developer, and this is typically reserved for large companies that are attempting to provide a very unique experience and have the budget to accomplish that. Most of you are not going to need a developer to accomplish what you’re looking to do so on the website. There are a few main things that I wanted to bring up.

Every business website should have five or six pages that are absolutely core. The first one is a home page when people type in your URL, the page that they see first. Second, there, your about us, you want to talk about your company, tell people who you are, what you stand for, what you believe in and where you want to go. Third, is your services and products page? This is important. You want to go into detail about what services you provide or what products giving the customer a clear view of what to expect.

Fourth, we have testimonials. Testimonials, are going to be your reviews or comments provided by clients. There’s several ways to achieve this, which you’ll come to find out either in later articles or simply call attacking us v, is going to be your blog page. This is like your news page for your entity for your business and your brand. Lastly, is contact us. This is going to be your contact information, a map and possibly a contact form just depending on how you want to set it up and what you’re looking to accomplish.

What most people don’t realize is that many websites out there have these five core pages, but there’s so much more beyond that that you could have do with your website. For instance, if you’re a restaurant in New York, possibly having a menu page going into more depth, page for your specials and, most importantly, for each individual special item, so, for instance, if you have filet mignon with sides – and it comes in an amazing price point – your Beef is found locally.

These are all things that you could have on. A specific page doesn’t have to be massive, but it pays specifically for that item so that if somebody were to search that particular item or that particular service, they could find you in that page, thereby leading them back to your website. Because most of your search and people find me, it’s been going to come from your name or your brand. It’s going to come from them looking for services that you provide, which is why having those services specifically in a page or a page for each particular service is very beneficial in the long run.

I’ll do more articles to go into more detail about things that can you can do on your website, but one crucial point I do want to bring up is, I know a lot of people talk about SEO and how important it is and and how you’ve got To optimize your children’s to find your website and I’m going to tell you this there’s no guarantees an SEO. It is a long term investment plan for your business. It is something that everybody says they do and a lot of people I’d say: 70 %.

Don’t even do it right, search engines are Google Yahoo being where you’re going to make your search as a client. So when the search engine looks to find relevant results, there are multiple criteria that they use to determine which ones are more relevant to that search. For instance, on your page, there might be meta information. This could be a title that goes on the actual search result or the description that goes on the actual search result, possibly meta information behind the picture, stating what service is being done in the photo.

What area the photo was taken and more relevant information to that photo. This is important because it actually Brett provides context to a search engine that cannot see the photo is realistically using the information. That’s provided, in the background of that photo to make a relevant decision on whether it and the page itself is more relevant than someone else. Next, I want to talk about in regards to SEO is the link structure, and so what this is is the actual website and how you structure, what page links to what other pages.

So, for instance, obviously you have a menu somewhere on your website to make it easier to navigate free and the user. The structure on page do you have links in your content, pointing to other relevant sources, or do you simply point back to yourself and other articles? You’ve written all of this comes into value for the search engine in determining what is relevant most relevant for each search term, and these things are what rank you higher and results.

So, as you can see, some of these topics can take quite a bit of time to actually implement to go through an entire website and make changes like that. Depending on how many pages you have, I know some websites, you only have five pages. It’s a quite a simple process: some websites have hundreds of pages or thousands of pages. It’s a little bit more of a task. So this is why a lot of companies will focus on particular keywords that you’re really interested in targeting to kind of narrow down their scope of work and what they need to accomplish.

But moving on we’ll talk about this again in another article step, three and this process is going to be social media, so there are four core networks which are by far the most popular and most important when it comes down to it. So we have Google Plus Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. These four networks are crucial. Facebook you’ve got a huge community of people, one of the largest social networks of people sharing, creating engagement through friends.

Family you’ve got LinkedIn providing more of a business like social network. Community you’ve got recruiters, you’ve got business owners and entrepreneurs all looking to reach out and make connections that are meaningful. Twitter. It’s more of an ongoing newsfeed. You’ve got essentially a rolling stream of tweets and in comments that are made throughout the day, links to various content and the lastly is Google+, and this is mainly important for the fact that it is a social network that is tied in with one of the largest Search engines, it’s not as popular as the others, but I do believe that it’s one of the more important as it does tie into YouTube.

Google, my business and those are all things that we can talk about later. But if you were to only have four social networks, these are the four that you should absolutely have. Other networks would include Pinterest Instagram YouTube stumble upon and again by having a Google+, you have a simple transition. If you decide to do articles and go to YouTube once you have the social networks, the main thing is to focus on engagement start reaching out to people start talking about the business.

Give people to like your pages and then interact put out good content. Talk about different things, share deals and specials. Ask for your social audience to respond to review, respond to your business or talk about things that they like or what they want to see. The main thing is to engage the audience, because it’s one of the biggest things about social networks is that it provides you the ability to reach your entire client list or your entire network of customers that believe in your brand and believe in your process in your Product, so it provides you quite an opportunity to essentially grow your business through simple communications and simple outreach and quality content, and the fourth step is citations citations, referring to, for instance, the first three steps would be setting up.

You built the foundation, you create the house, you build a beautiful yard. Driveway you painted all these beautiful colors. How do people find you? How do you bring people back? Social media plays a part and directs people back to your website. The next part is the citations. The local directories for local businesses, news organizations for tech companies or just about any business actually could be in a news organization, depending on your brand, your message and what you do that is unique and different to everybody else.

That’s doing what you do. Where do your clients look for you? Where do your clients look to find, for instance, if I was a plumber and San Jose or if I was a pawn save Texas? If I was a plumber in Texas, I’m going to start thinking about where my clients are looking for me, are they on Angie’s List? Are they on? Are they on Yelp? Are they on Yellow Pages, and these are all places that I’m going to want to be? I’m going to want to be hopefully for free right.

A lot of these do provide free profiles where you can get your information cited in their website, put up pictures and build a custom profile to bring people back to your business so that when they are looking for someone that provides your services, they find you. Instead of your competitors, and that’s really, what citations is about is generating leads by putting your information in your business, giving them a road back to your website.

And by doing this, you create a net of links in different avenues to be able to generate revenue from your website by sending people that are looking for possibly a specific product or a specific service to find those searches and to get in for those searches. Whether it’s through your website or through someone else’s, that is, how you build a brand online to take advantage of the opportunity that the website creates in these other websites that are already in place and have established crack traffic to use their audiences.

That are already in place to leverage toward your success. Hey guys, hope this article helped you out today build your business and your brand for your future. Here at Solan box, we want to see people making the right decisions, which means they need to make informed decisions. So we look forward to providing a lot more useful content. Moving forward have a great day guys

How I Was Getting 1000 Instagram Followers Per Day On Using FaceBook Ads

Not necessarily you know, ecommerce with business related, but for the people that are trying to you know, grow the personal brand grow their. I guess that you know their business brand whatever it is and not you know, use what all these other people are saying assume like. Oh use the algorithm get organic followers stuff like that, and you know you can do that.

But this article is going to be some. You know paid ads and trying to use that to gain followers and kind of my results with that and showing you guys the back end of that. So you guys can kind of replicate and do the same thing now. Basically, what I was doing, okay, just to give you guys an overview before we hop into the laptop screen here, is I wanted to figure out a way to gain organic Instagram followers right and pay as little as possible, but not go the typical route of like Buying a shout-out from an influencer or trying to use the algorithm, or you know doing anything like that because you know it, for instance, if you’re new to this blog right, I own e-commerce businesses, I own software’s, I own sass companies, you know social media marketing companies.

It’s like I do marketing for a living. That’s what I do, and so I wanted to basically apply that to my personal brand on Instagram and see what we could kind of get done there. Okay, but that sort of makes sense now to kind of go over. That now right, it’s basically what I decided to do was. I was going to run Instagram story ads. Okay, so you know the ads you see when you’re on someone like reading like swiping through people’s stories.

Okay, I was running it in scream story ad to try and gain followers now, because my personal brand is very, you know, angled towards sort of like content and business. I get a lot of people in the business space that want to like get started with dropshipping, like I start with e-commerce. Those are the people that are really interested in my brand in me and those are the people that follow me. I want to target those people now by doing so.

Okay, you can’t again just telling someone to follow. You isn’t going like like to me like the good. This is my train of thought right. Telling someone to follow me right off. The bat is going to be a lot harder than using some psychology to actually get them to follow me instead and what it, what a minute. So, basically, when I was running the the instagrams type of bad guys, but basically I was telling people to do is.

I was saying hey if you want to get started in e-commerce or dropshipping, because that’s what my brands about right so again add them. In that event, that might not be the case with your brand, but that’s where you kind of like spin it and put it push it on something like whatever your brand is doing right, but my brand is around e-commerce. You know drop shipping and content. So my ads were just a article of me right next to my car.

Now, I’m just saying: hey if you guys want to get started with e-commerce or drop shipping just swipe up okay, because the swipe is just going to lead them to my profile. My Instagram profile all right, I said swipe up and then shoot me, a message shoot me a DM and I’ll get you set up. Okay, that was literally all I was saying and I’ll play the ad here and then it will hop into business. I so I can kind of like break it down and show that to you guys, but again, that’s the psychology I was using is I wasn’t.

I’m people to follow me? Okay, because that’s going to be a lot more expensive and harder for people just like. Oh okay, I’m just going to listen to them in and follow up. That’s not it! You need to a you need to offer value. It has to be some sort of value exchange in that. So I always like people hey. I will help you get started with e-commerce or drop shipping. Alright, just shoot me a DM now on Instagram right, at least as of this date, when I’m recording it and when the ads were running all right.

When someone swiped up, they saw my account. There’s two ways that could either shoot me a message right, cuz, that’s. What I was telling to do is shoot me, a message that they could get started because they want to get certain e-commerce right. That was the value proposition. Now they had two ways to message me: either one was going to be going my profile and then they have to click follow and then they can click message, because it’s the same button.

Okay, they can do that or most people don’t know about this. But like you go up to the little three dots or whatever and then click send a message which takes longer and most people don’t know about that right. So it was like all’s. You think I was doing as I was saying: hey shoot me a message so when people did that they swiped up in profile, they would just follow me and then they’d shoot me a message and shoot me a DM okay and that’s how I was doing that’s What I was doing to literally gain a thousand followers a day, spending thirty dollars a day on ads.

Okay. So that’s what I was doing now we’re going to hop into the screen here and get the screen recording software set up real, quick and I’ll. Show you guys a little breakdown to that. So you guys can kind of replicate that for your own personal grants, um again just to try and give you guys some value and just quick plug by the way subscribe. If you haven’t already now, we set this up alright guys.

So we are currently in one of my ad accounts right now and, as you guys see, we have four four different, basically four different assets that I was playing around with for this campaign. So again I was spending $ 30 a now, as you see I’ll name. I named it one of something up so dropshipping famous entrepreneurs SMS, like social media marketing and then job should being copied, which was a copy of this one.

Now, as you guys ever see so they’re all inactive right now, because I was playing out with some of Facebook stuff and Facebook, like I got in facebook, was like being weird about it, but I had this going for around five or four days. I don’t really know, but I hit here the stats right so again, basically with what I was doing. Okay, so my cost per is what I was going for: link clicks and again I’ll hop into each actual ad in a quick second.

But I just want you guys to see the numbers right, so we’re spending $ 10 every single day, all right and in total right during a lifetime of this, which really wasn’t too long. Usually like four or five days, we got 6040 link links for this. One 6700 around that one around 7,000. For this one, an adjacency we were only paying one or two cents per link: click. Okay! Now here’s the thing too! Is you know with that? Obviously we see this one here for 16 likes to do with that.

One wasn’t running: that’s why I wasn’t spending $ 40 a day, because I was testing it. It’s all about testing guys. You got a test on Facebook. It goes with. You know, with your e-commerce businesses, with your brands, whatever it is. Whenever you on Facebook, any social media ad platform paid out a platform if it comes out to testing. But as you can see here, we were getting one link, click or one cent, link, click to send, link loose here and then total reach.

We had over a million people that we reached in over a million 100,000 people impression wise now, if we hop into one of these. So let’s hop into this one, which was the cheapest one, just kind of drop shipping. Okay, so happened the ad for this one. Now, as you see, we had the main article going up and then a blooper one, just because my brand isn’t like super serious. I’m really only serious in like some of these YouTube articles, I’m trying to give you guys value, but this one was the main article again I’ll.

Have that one playing, but it’s like the same one from earlier, but basically that’s the one that we were doing and, as you can see, 7,000 link clicks here. We reached 400 65,000 people, impressions 500,000 and then again we spent $ 75 and had one link click. Okay, now this started again october 3rd was the last big edit on it. So it’s around that time frame, which is what you’ll playable. I hop into social blade in a quick second, okay, now we’re actually going to go in here and click Edit.

Just so, I can kind of break down um, the actual targeting or whatnot, for you guys go back to the campaign or show you the asset and then we’ll hop into the drop in one click, edit, okay, so we’re in here now. This is the actual targeting. I was using for this particular ad set, so as you can see locations, I said United States, New Zealand, Canada, United Kingdom well sure so I was trying to go for more like eyes like higher quality traffic, not necessarily like, like just other places.

Other words that made not necessary, like speak English, always kind of stuff, more people that be relevant or, in my brand, all right, age-wise. I said 1435, gender, all and then languages, English, now the actual interests in targeting right so interest, Aliexpress, BigCommerce, DHgate, dropshipping econ econ. So again, this one I was, I was really just hitting a bunch is I was interest, stacking, okay, that’s like a term civilian.

So, basically, that’s what I was doing with this kind of breaking all this kind of stuff down. I wasn’t really excluding anyone out of it and again I was only running on stories, so only doing story ads, because that’s what my actual ad was primed and set up for saying swipe up, shoot me a DM, and then I think actually this was edited, though Site, I really only started with Instagram and I really only did Instagram stories um.

I think at the last moment before I stopped running this, I changed it to Facebook now Romilly yep strolling out here to optimization and delivery guy. So again, we’re charging for link clicks, that that was our objective for the actual ad set and again that’s the expected of a 30 or 190, but basically guys that’s just the type. I just really wanted to show you guys what was working for me and how I was you know getting a thousand plus photos a day, all right.

Well, I want to hop in social. You guys and kind of show you guys. The actual like day-by-day, follow her growth. You know this is when I first started YouTube for started actual branding myself in content or not, but as you can see, it cuts off here On February 3rd, but we were running this ad set and October guys. But this is what I was using to gain a thousand followers a day for $ 30 ad spent every single day just testing these different ad sets right.

So again, this was called the dropship on. As you see, the interests were targeted. You know it with Intuit the interest being around drop shipping or e-commerce right. So if we go to this one, the famous entrepreneur one and we’ll click this one and then you guys can see so these are just like popular entrepreneurs that I was targeting as well. Right so Gary Vaynerchuk anchor donut russell brunson, all these guys, Tim Ferriss when I grow like all of these guys, okay and then I didn’t also think where I was doing like books just to get people really really really invested like babe.

They they knew who these entrepreneurs were, and they were reading some of the stuff that they published, sighs or just like in conjunction with that. So again, these are just some of the like Think and Grow Rich 4-hour workweek. All this kind of stuff get not excluding it, but just they have to also matter so narrowing it. Basically, okay, that was basically this ads again, I was running basically, I was running the same article for all these okay guys there was just different interests and they were getting all spending $ 10 a day again, location-wise all the same age of the same gender.

The same language, the same there’s just the actual interest: okay and then for this one social, media marketing or when you guys do that, one real, quick, again everything you say the same up here: okay and then down here. We get social media, so digital marketing, online advertising, social media marketing it just those three that I was testing. As you see, that was a little bit more expensive. I think it was two cents versus one cents with drop shipping.

So that’s the one that I really really really should be focusing on scaling. But again I had some problems with Facebook, so I stopped running that after five six days, but this is just a quick article. I just wanted to break this down, to show you guys that you know to gain followers on Instagram or to grow your personal brand. You know on Facebook in store whatever you’re deciding to do. It’s not, you know, always have to go like the pure organic route because it does take longer so I was just kind of experienced.

I was like okay. What, if I do marketing for myself for my personal grant? Actually, I gained fall over, it’s like what can I do down that sort of Avenue, and this is kind of what I got and I’m trying to show you guys. You know what I started doing in the future with this bug, and this is just a very quick article that I want to do, because I literally have a flight to Bali that I have to go out and leave soon for, but that is the article guys.

I really hope you guys enjoyed. I hope you guys learned something. I hope you guys use this to apply it to your own personal brand, to your own stores, whatever you’re trying to grow. Because again, I think this is a really really really cheap and efficient way to just get a lot of exposure at all of attention to yourself to your brands, whatever you’re doing whatever you’re promoting okay guys. So I hope you guys enjoyed the article make sure to leave a like make sure.

There’s drop a comment, respond to everybody’s comments and don’t forget to subscribe guys. You know we’re out here doing articles ecommerce, Instagram branding whatever the deal may be. I hope you guys enjoy and I will see you guys in the next article – take care peace,

How To Create A Great Content Strategy for Your Business

So the first thing I look at isn’t necessarily about strategy, but it’s just a big tip. Most small business owners are really really busy people which I imagine you can probably include yourself within that I know I’m very busy.

So I just ask you to look at the tasks that you’re doing on a day to day basis and work out which of those tasks are essential on which a non-essential tasks. So the likely it is that you probably have to be there to design your products or deliver your services or whatever it might be things like content, marketing, social media marketing, article marketing. I would consider those to be that you do need to do them because you’ve got to market your business.

That’s really important, however, you don’t. Actually. I consider them to be non-essential tasks within your business, because these are things that you can outsource a great deal of the work for so I talk about that a bit later on, so many businesses suffer with look at lack of time and a lot of these. These tasks, non-essential tasks can be outsourced to other people. So, whether that’s a virtual assistant, you could get a PA, you could get an office administrator in you could get an apprentice in you could get whatever you could get.

Somebody else in to do a lot of the grunt work for you, obviously, with things like creating the content itself, so being its standing in front of a camera like this or writing, those blog articles come up with the content of the blog articles. Yet you need to do that bit of the work, but everything else hand over to somebody else. If you can, the second tip I’ve got which is based around is content planning.

Basically, how do you go about creating or planning planning a Content structure that you know that you can easily implement? So I run a workshop called a 52-week content strategy workshop, where I give people a framework which allows them to create 52 blog articles articles whatever it might be over the course of the year. So that’s just one a week so one a week. It feels to me, like it’s achievable if I asked you to make 50 articles, you’ve probably laughed me and say: well, that’s a joke! That’s going to take forever, but if I ask you to make one short article week or all of a sudden that starts to become manageable, so the idea behind the 52 week content strategy is to break it down into really manageable small chunks.

So a simple process open up an Excel spreadsheet across the rows at the the row at the top and put in a number of different topics or categories that you’re an expert in that you could talk about. So for me I might have web design online marketing article marketing branding so I’ll have like I don’t know, half a dozen or a dozen column headings across the top in the rows. Underneath those, then you can start to come up with specific topics within days that you might want to talk about so under branding.

It might be colors color schemes and fonts, and it might be use of use of colors within logos. It might be type typography. It might be DIY logos versus paying a branding expert, so you can come up with a number of different articles. Titles of articles that you are then going to write or talk about during your articles of blog articles and lo and behold so, let’s say, for example, you’ve created six different categories.

You’ve got 8 different topics you can write and about underneath each category. All of a sudden you’ve got 48 different articles. That’s almost a year’s worth of content if you’re going to release one article a week, so that feels to me like it’s much more manageable. The next step is: how do you actually go about implementing Acts? It’s all! Well and good having this pretty, you know 52-week content strategy framework.

If you’re not going to implement it, you know it’s not even pretty enough to stick on a wall and look at this is it’s a useful reminder to actually get a project management tool or put notes into your outlet calendar or use a tool like to doest, Which will automatically send you reminders when, for when? You should be creating your content and when you should be publishing that content? Most of us require a carrot or a stick.

I think, sadly, when it comes to content marketing is it’s a stick and we need that reminder from todoist or outlook on a weekly basis, just to get our minds focused on on the content and the piece of content we’re going to be reminded about, and so Within that is not just a reminder to say, you need to go and make a article. It’s a reminder say you need to go and create a article about branding specifically about typography, and so it’s really clear what it is that you’re going to be making that article about.

So you don’t have to go back and look it up all or whatever you can just get in front of the camera or start typing your blog article image. You know flows, it comes out naturally without and try and make it. So it’s second nature. You know a couple of months down the road. This will become say it will become a bitch rule. You will naturally find yourself waiting for that reminder to come in to tell you what you need to be writing about.

You may even do two or three articles in a row who knows you may do two months worth of content in a row and then you all you’ve got to worry about, then is scheduling it and and publishing it on a regular on the weekly basis that You’d planned one of the reasons why I recommend recording content rather than just typing. It is because most people can only type at 30, 35 or 40 words per minute at the most unless you’re a typist, whereas people who, when you speak, you think at the same pace you speaker and most people speak at about 90 to 100 words per minute.

So not only can you get more content out in the same time when you’re speaking it or recording it? Also, it means that you’re thinking at the same you’re speaking at the same rate, you think and and again like if you have to slow down to type things up, it just doesn’t flow as well. So when you’re talking it displays much better and then upload it somewhere to YouTube or SoundCloud and then pay somebody on rev.

Com to transcribe it for you, so you get your blog articles back out of it. Equally, if you go article first like I’m doing, you’ve then got the article content, publish it to YouTube, then get it transcribed. You’ve got a podcast and you can extract the audio of a today, but a blog article, there’s all sorts you can do do with your content at that point. So how does this link in with social media, for example? So the next thing you’ve done once you’ve created your new piece of content, is you’re going to want to market it and and publicize it so that you can draw attention to it and hopefully draw traffic back to your website.

So what you want to do is share this content, which he published on your website in your YouTube, blog on a slide deck or SoundCloud through through your various different social media profiles. So we’re talking here about the main big for Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn and Twitter. You may also want to if what you do is very visual. You may also want to consider things like Pinterest and Instagram these.

These are other and instagrams growing massively at the moment, I think it’s probably the fastest growing social media platform out there. Just at the moment, and also you may want to choose, to share other people’s insightful content so rather than just writing content from here and look up other people’s content and make make it put your comments against it. You know whether you agree with it disagree with it.

If you’ve got anything, you can add to it, how can you add value to it and then? Finally, you also might want to consider and sort of sharing interesting stats and tips and quotes with with your audience because they may not want to B’s. They may not be sold on your product or your service, but just building trust you’re, giving them useful information. My and might be one way of engaging them so just to summarize those those key points and, first of all, look at what and a recension versus non-essential tasks that you’re doing based around your content structure of content strategy and, secondly, make sure you implement a 52-week Content and content plan so that your content is is mapped out throughout the next next year, find a task management tool which you like we used to do this, but you can set reminders in outlook.

For example, you could also save a bit of time by recording your your audio, your article and then get it paying rev.Com to transcribe it for you and then. Finally, you want to make sure that you publicize that and content you’re you’re pushing out via your social media platforms, so hope you found that and that article useful thanks very much for reading, don’t forget to subscribe. Bad idea computer purchases for editing – Don’t Do this…

I built it back when thread ripper 1 had just launched and the thread ripper IHS or the heat spreader is about that big and when you look at heat spreader that big you’re looking at cooling a bunch of space.

So I didn’t want to go with just your standard airflow. I wanted to look for something that was akin to a custom loop in cooling, but that wouldn’t take that much maintenance. So I did a bunch of benchmark reviews. I read a lot. I readed a lot of YouTube and found the inner max lick tech. When I first installed it, I had fantastic results in fact: 30 to 40 degrees, 45 under extreme load, which is 20 degrees under the thermal throttle point.

Well, how do I know that? That’s because they use two different materials on the inside of that loop. They use the copper block and then they used an aluminum radiator and what happens is called galvanic corrosion. In fact, if you see the picture here, it ate through the copper base plate, and so it was now flowing water from the copper block around the filters and the fins which were cooling, everything and it really dove in perform.

In fact, after six months I could barely keep it under 60 degrees and if I really got it working up, I can easily thermal throttle the processor. So this was the worst choice I made. It was also the second worst choice I made because I returned it to inner max. They were great stood behind the product and they should be alec tech to hey. That’s fantastic new version problem solved not so much six months later same problem, so I returned that one got a third one in her max great support on this and sold it on eBay.

So that’s how that worked out got a knock to a cooler. Never looked back now. The next mistake I made was putting 210 ATT eyes in this thing, yeah I took two of these giant graphics cards and shoved him into what was ATX board now. This is fantastic, except for both of these had a iOS included as well. This made things a touch cramped and any time I needed to do it thing like say I don’t know deal with that stupid, inter max cooler I had to take apart, basically the whole system.

You know I was trying to avoid a custom loop because of all the maintenance and whatnot and it felt like I was doing all that work anyway. So when the 28th et I launched – and I was pretty excited about finding out that ray-tracing goodness, what does that? Look like I sold both the 1080 T eyes on eBay and bought a 20 80 TI. This was mistake. Number two and the reason it’s mistake. Number two is because my overall performance in article editing went down now, you might say well in SLI or in shared configuration, the 1080 T eyes would mirror their memory and therefore you only get more compute.

You don’t really get more in texture management. That’s true, except for DaVinci Resolve, doesn’t use SLI anyway, and when we looked at benchmarks that I’ve built when I had the to 1080p eyes, I was killing it. When I went to the 28th et, I in fact there’s a article linked above um. It was a mistake because it ended up having worst performance now sure it’s been really helpful when it comes to the new neural engine.

That’s in DaVinci Resolve 16, and maybe I was just a visionary looking off into the future, but uh that wouldn’t. But basically I wasted money, because I had two perfectly good 1080 T eyes: they are fantastic article editing carts, even just one of them, would be a killer set up right now. I didn’t need to upgrade so that was just wasted money fun. The next thing you may have noticed, as we’ve gone through here, is there’s a touch of RGB in my system, so the RGB has been a major attractant for my kid when looking at the computers and getting into computers, but it’s also created a massive headache.

For me so check this out. This is the back of the thread smoker machine when I was putting all the fans in the RGB controllers, the strip’s power, for it all drove me insane, so cable management became absolutely miserable. So you tell me what mistakes have you made when working on your editing rig? Have you made some bad purchases if you configured it the wrong way, know below in the comments I’m interested in learning from you and your mistakes as you’ve learned for mine thanks for reading subscribe, if you haven’t and be sure to hit that like button, so others Can find this article thanks for reading have a great day you

Become An Expert Salesperson with Douglas Kruger | Sales Expert Insight Series

My name is John golden from sails pop online sales magazine and pipeliner CRM, and today I am delighted to be joined by Douglas Krueger, who is in lovely Johannesburg, South Africa? How you doing Douglas says it’ll be with you, John thanks, so much for having me yeah absolutely and it’s late evening. Your time, I presume indeed it’s very late evening, my wife and I manage to read a movie she’s gone off to bed and I’m still enduring so.

Okay. Well Douglas. Just let me introduce you, he is an author of six business books, including the highly acclaimed own. Your own industry, how to position yourself as an expert and that’s where we’re going to focus in today he’s worked with multiple large clients, household names like BMW, but tell me Douglas okay own your own, your industry, how to position yourself as an expert? Why is that relevant to everybody, as opposed to just a small number of people? Well, absolutely.

The the starting point in positioning yourself isn’t as an expert is that it is a choice. People will make and in fact not a great many people vie for that premium level of competition, and for that reason, although we’re what I’m encouraging is that you aim higher, there’s, certainly less noise at the top of the market. So that’s one of the the advantages to it. It also helps us to hit a much more visceral note in terms of our marketing, rather than sounding like a low level salesperson, we actually speak at a different level.

It’s it’s a little at which we start creating tribes of followers and actually, in a sense, are depicting a type of lifestyle, a type of persona and a way of being and done at its highest level. It actually helps people to to actualize themselves and to realize who they want. So how would you advise somebody? So if I’m a salesperson right and yeah I’ve been doing okay, I mean now you’ve been bumping along here, but I feel like I really want to go for it I want to.

I want to be more successful in Excel. What are some of the first steps? I can take towards, as you say, actual izing that well one of the things that I think is a little counterintuitive that most people don’t do is to give away your best ideas for free. When we look at it from a sales perspective, we often we have a sense of being guarded or being a little reserved about how much information we actually want to give away.

There’s always that nagging doubt in the back of our minds that if we give too much, we’ve essentially furnished the solution for free, I believe that the exact opposite is the case. I believe that, when we’re very generous with what we know, rather than just selling to people we’re sharing ways forward, and I find that what tends to happen is that people come to us for the implementation and I’ve seen this.

I’ve been very blessed to see this. In my own career and in that of other speakers, experts, coaches people involved in the world of sales, the more they’re giving and the more they’re helping people to become what they want to become. The more clients come to them. For the the implementation of that ideal, and in a best-case scenario we want to be hearing that phrase, someone told me you’re the person to talk to about now.

What I try and focus on is: how do you become synonymous with an idea? So I go a little bit beyond the idea of simply being say a topic matter, expert or being a being technically good at what you do, and I start asking questions like how do how do you become so synonymous with an industry that it’s almost impossible to Talk about it without referencing you and the top names that spring to mind. Over time I mean you, you can’t speak about, say bodybuilding without speaking of arnold schwarzenegger and you can’t say data’ and TV talk shows without referencing, oprah and so on and so forth and Schwarzenegger is an interesting one and it plays into what we’re discussing here, because He is not technically the most highly accomplished.

Bodybuilder of all time, he’s won mr. Olympia seven times. There are two gentlemen who have wanted eight separate times, and yet, whenever I speak for audiences, I put up the phrase bodybuilding on a screen and I say quick: what’s the first name? Is France Mike? It’s always always Arnold yeah, exactly yeah. So, there’s a lot that we can learn from that and obviously his television appearances and so forth play into it.

But that’s part of what we’re talking about when we say expert positioning, it’s this combination of teaching leading being a personality and very much of being in the public eye. So so how would um and and I agree with everything you said there, but so from from a lot of salespeople – they, while they’re great, if you put them in a room one-on-one with a customer or you put them on the phone or you can put them On with the buying committee, you know they’re great in those situations, but if you say to them now, you’re going to really expose yourself to a much broader audience, maybe one that they don’t even see them get kind of uncomfortable.

In that air arena absolutely – and I mean you know the old joke that does the round about the the fear of public speaking being greater than the fear of death, and the conclusion we can draw from that is that at your average funeral most people would rather Be the guy in the box, but there’s immense power in that, and in fact, of course it’s a very human fear. It’s not the fear of speaking itself.

It’s the fear of being judged – and I think one-one constructive way around. That is for us to realize that we’re not actually there to be judged we’re there to give value to a group of people who don’t know as much as we do. If you have something that teachers a group helps, a group of people shows a way forward. It’s not self-serving to stand up in front of a group and do it you’re actually giving something that is very valuable to people and of course you can do it on different gradients.

You know, though, you don’t have to throw yourself into the deep end and stand up in an auditorium and atriums be for 10,000 people on your first try. You could, for example, craft a small youtube article that gives 10 tips two or three ways to and gives genuine value for free and once again, I return to that idea of saying give away your best ideas for free. Let them come to you for the implementation.

Don’t hold anything back yeah and so that then, obviously will build a level of trust right, because I mean, if you’re, giving out information you’re helping somebody, then they’ll tend to trust you more and though, if you like they’ll get past the idea of this confrontational salesperson. Buyer relationship and I think I think that’s one of the key – the key elements there and but to me also again from again from a salesperson point of view.

I mean you know becoming the expert, you know owning and just you really becoming the expert again. You know a lot of people would say. Well you know I’m I’m pretty good. I mean, I know some stuff expert. I don’t know whether I’m good, I don’t know whether I’m comfortable putting myself forward as yes, ok. This returns me to to what I believe is that the the heart and soul of genuinely becoming a recognized icon in your industry, where I believe it’s a three-part equation and I think most people tend to to get the one idea and miss the other two.

And I believe that experts exist at the intersection of three different qualities. If you don’t have all three working together simultaneously, you can actually disqualify yourself as an expert now the first one is the one we tend to think of intuitively. When we hear that phrase – and that’s that’s knowledge and knowledge is a broad catch-all term, when we say knowledge, we mean technical ability capacity, you know your stuff, it’s the ability to do the thing that you do.

But now it’s interesting is when you start to study the really top names in every industry. They are not necessarily the most technically qualified people, there’s something else going on there. They know their stuff backwards and forwards. Make no mistake about that, but there are often people who are more technically qualified than them yet less well known, and often these are people who are not remunerated on the same scale and that’s fascinating to us.

So the other two elements, in addition to knowledge, are personality and publicity and in any industry that I’ve studied looking at this idea of of experts and icons, I always find that that one comes to the fore and, of course it’s again it gets a fear reaction From us, because if we’re not very loud verbose, over-the-top charismatic personalities, we tend to think well that disqualifies me and I genuinely believe that that’s not the case at all.

If you look at, let’s take a world like say, the world of professional shifts, Jamie Oliver from the United Kingdom has become a global phenomenon, one of his books launched awhile ago. In fact, the the first book called The Naked Chef. You know millions of them sold worldwide. People bought them, flipped them open found. It was nothing but recipes. They were sorely disappointed, but what’s interesting about that is that Jamie Oliver is a fairly quiet, down-to-earth, bloke, next door, kind of character and he’s not allowed over-the-top person.

Like Seiya at Jeremy, Clarkson in the world of cars or any other big personality, we we care to think of, but here’s the key. We know Jamie Oliver, we recognize his face, we know his voice and we are familiar with his personality. So that’s as a result of the third thing, which is publicity, knowledge, personality, publicity put those three together and you have the core makings of an industry expert take one out of the equation and you actually disqualify yourself from the potential of being a recognized icon and The way I always like to phrase it with my audiences, as I say, if you have all the knowledge but no personality, you are a specialist if you have all listen, allottee, but no knowledge.

You are very good. I like it. So, that’s all that’s interesting and, as you said, I mean the personality piece because that’s been misused over years where people say there are personality types, but you can you know a good personality is a very subjective thing anyway right, and so it doesn’t have to be One type or the other and then the publicity I mean, I guess that’s the piece nowadays, where there’s no real excuse.

Is it because you have all the tools. I mean us, as individuals now have tools that we could only have dreamed of years ago. This might come surprising to anybody who’s under the age of 30, but all of these wonderful tools that didn’t exist absolutely so really leverage so really leveraging. Those tools for the publicity piece is key right. Yes, and also, you know why you mentioned levy the newness of the tools I’d like to throw in as a seemingly contradictory idea, which is that the classic skills still win out and what I mean by that is when you study someone like say, Jeremy Clarkson, who Is famously fired from top gear after a year altercation with his producer, he speaks about how the new top gear is struggling and he did it with uncharacteristic restraint, but he pointed out something that I found fascinating.

He said when you look at the credits. There is no written by and it used to be written by Jeremy Clarkson now Clarkson for all he sort of buffoonery is an incredibly strong writer and he says you know people would apply a young men. Young ladies, would apply to the Top Gear show and they would talk about their love of cars and he would say well yeah, that’s all very well, but can you write? Well, that’s the heart and soul of it, and I think those old classic skills can really set you apart in a world.

That’s perhaps not using them as much as it should, and another example that speaks to my mind is from from the United States, his micro. The globally famous host of dirty jobs on our Discovery, Channel, yes, yeah now as a sort of a suit-wearing person who spends most of his life in conferences and drinking coffee, the world’s most unlikely candidate to follow micro. I have zero interest in dirty jobs.

However, the man’s skill with words hid the beauty of his writing, his wit, his humor and his intellect ensure that I am one of his greatest fans and I think there’s something quite profound about that. You know when we, when we step aside from the sort of the the classical sales role, and we admit to ourselves, that we’re talking to human beings, intelligent human beings who respect good writing good humour, good personality.

There is a great deal of value to the mind in those it yeah. I have to say I’m glad you brought that up, because it’s it’s one of the it’s one of my look at soap boxes as well, because I do believe that it’s a terrible thing. But today you as a salesperson or or is anybody a professional? You can differentiate yourself by being polite by not but not being over familiar with people before you know them and, as you say, by writing, well and actually paying attention to what you’re writing.

I really think ya can differentiate you, because I think people there’s it’s become so casual that it’s it’s just become lazy and kind of almost you know insulting right yeah. So I think the human mind sits up and pays attention when it perceives something of a little bit of quality and there’s a fabulous book by Steven Pinker and that the title eludes me now. I think it’s called the sense of style and it’s a book about writing in general, but he uses a fabulous phrase and he comes at it from a sort of a neuro psychology point of view and he says style earns trust.

He goes into a lot of the signs behind it, but the very simple version is: when people see that we pay attention to small details, whether it’s in writing, whether it’s in how we go about treating others whatever the case might be, that small sense of style Convinces people that there is a greater intellect behind it and that here is a person who can be trusted can be taken seriously. You almost earn merit points beyond what you’re actually do by simple shows of of care for small things.

So I think I think that phrase is really profound. That style earns I’m a hundred percent believer in that also believe that you can, you can never be. You can never be too polite right. You can certainly be the opposite, but I don’t think you can be too polite and and it’s better to start off being formal, as opposed to start off being familiar with that earning that right and and my my other one is, I was believe you will never Get you will never get docked points for being overdressed? Yes, because I’ve done it myself in the past, like I’ve, shown up in a suit and tie for a meeting with people and they’ve all been in t-shirts and shorts, but hey nobody’s going to say well, look at him they’re going to say you know you still Going to gradually respect you, but if I turn it up to a room of people who were in shirts and ties, and I was in t-shirt and shorts, I’m kind of the same reaction right.

Yes, I can think of only one example that contradicts that. But it’s such a bizarre when I divert I just share it with ya: go we have a speaker from Johannesburg and he’s he’s globally famous by the name of Clem Sunter he’s a futurist in Scenario planner, who was the ex chairperson of anglo-american corporations, a very high-level He said he’s a very intelligent, very charming man, but because of this very high level of success, the dynamic reverses for him.

He stands on a stage in a very baggy Jersey, hands in pocket laughs at his own jokes and he comes across as an absent-minded professor type, and it’s it’s very charming. But absolutely I agree with your point. If I had to do it, it would just simply look disrespect yeah, I mean exactly. I mean we see the Steve Jobs, I mean when you get to that stage. You can basis name your own uniform right, yes versus because it looks so charming to be human.

Exactly exactly it’s perfect, so tell me in the last few minutes we have here. You know tell me another couple of aspects about how you advise people other than you know, reading your book. But what are another couple of ways? People could start to elevate. The idea of themselves of an expert – or, if you get their head around, even attempting to do that. Yes, absolutely I I think one of the mistakes people tend to make early on is they find it difficult to calibrate what level of expert they are and because we all have some degree of humility, hopefully built into the psyche? We find it hard to say I am an expert and in fact you shouldn’t an expert is something that someone else calls you who then, and what what we want to do is start off with a certain level of humility.

That says, I know this much and that’s what I can teach and as your knowledge grows, you can teach a broader and broader base and you can share with more and more people on, say, an increasingly global level and that that simple little equation I find helps People to let go of a great deal of the fear and insecurity around the idea of being an expert. If you do not have the the insight into physics of someone who’s been around, studying it for decades.

Well, teach at the level of say a primary school teacher and you are an expert to a group of people who know less than you and there’s something Noble and something beautiful about that and that’s fine and, as you grow more your your influence expands. So don’t out claim what you actually know and there you know that that way you never get caught out and in fact, one of the things that I like to challenge people.

Whenever we speak about this topic, so I say the first time you speak as a recognized expert in a public forum in the Q & A session, at least once you should say to someone I don’t know. I don’t know the answer to that question and there’s nothing wrong with that, and I think it’s a very healthy thing to do. Not only does it actually build credibility with the audience, but it keeps you at a certain level that says it’s.

Okay, not to know more than I do. That’s that’s a great that’s a great tip. Actually, I love that one. That’s a great takeaway for people out there is to be able to confidently say I don’t know the answer to that. I’m sorry because otherwise, if we’ve seen too many people pass where you know you stand, then you think. Oh, I just got asked a question. I don’t know so now my brain is going to go into overdrive, coming out with some nonsense to try as experts there’s no upside to it.

Yeah absolutely well. Listen. Douglas has been a great a great conversation that we could talk a lot more and hopefully we will. Hopefully you come back and talk again soon, but before we go I’d like you to tell the audience a little bit more about yourself how they can find out more about you, yes, certainly most of what I do is the the writing. I write books that are entrepreneurial in nature and I speak on the same topics.
