How To Use Google Analytics for your Business

What is it it’s a tracking token that you get to put on your website and then it gives you so much information about the people who are Coming to your website what pages they’re visiting when they’re, coming, how they’re coming and the best part about it? It’s free! I like free, All right so first step we’re going to to go google.

Com/analytics And then we need to sign Up for an Analytics account All right, so it’s going to bring You to this landing page Hit Sign Up, So we’re just going to name this one Morgan Test for my test website And then you can choose to share your data with a variety of things. I’r just going to click those Right now it’s up to you And then click Next, Since we’re setting This up for our website we’re going to click.

We want to measure web. The next thing that we Need to do is we need to put in all the information About our website, So we gave this account a name, and now we need to specifically Call the website name, So this website is called upskill.Life and we’re just going to use the Same thing, upskill.Life, This is actually one of Nealey’s accounts that we’re going to be setting up for him. I think it’s, the Beauty and Fitness So pick an industry category.

And then you can obviously put your Time Zone and then hit Create. So now that you’re account is set up the very first page that it Brings you is your Tracking ID. This is the most important step. Just because you created an account does not mean that suddenly, Google is going to start Tracking your website, You actually have to do something with the code that it generates So right here, very top front and center it let’s.

You know that this is your code, But you don’t just copy And paste this code, you actually need this Code all the way down here this script, So what you’re going to go? Do is you’re going to put that on your website. Every website is different. WordPress has areas that you can do it. Depending on your theme, you Might have to add a plugin, but it’s best to go and Look at your website’s documentation to see how to Add the Google Analytics’ code So after that than I’m good In theory, it may take 24 To 48 hours to propagate, so that’s why you can come Back here to the status just to keep, checking and Right now it says no data received, so we haven’t Put it on anything, but it will say you’re good.

I have a site, we can go. Into that has traffic and has the code it’s Been there for a long time, So let’s go check out. One of my other sites, So this main page, this Kind of gives you a snapshot of everything that you’re seeing So right. Now you can see that there’s one active user on this site. You can see over the past few days more or less what how many Users have been there page views, balance rate and Just some other statistics, where they’re coming by country, when are your hottest hours, So these are other reports that give you even more granular data about the people who are Coming to your website, So this first one is real-time.

So if you can click right here, you’ll see the number of people active on your site right now or Over the past 30 to 60 minutes, You can see where they’re coming from just one person has been To this site recently, but you can drill it Down based on location traffic sources, where They’re coming from, but what’s more important, Is your audience in general? Yes, you can see a snapshot in time, but I love to go to the audience tab and then go to overview where I can see over a longer period of time how many people have Been coming to my site, So the first thing that I like to do this is just showing the Past week that’s helpful, but I let’s go back in time.

Let’s just look at 2019 as a whole just to see [ Sam ] Yeah one week doesn’t give you a lot of information. [ Morgan, ] Yeah and you may Wan na just look at a quarter or a month, but you can See bigger trends over time, So the default it’s going. To default to users, I like to also look at page views, And then it also has some Other just high level statistics for this period, which is great, you can see the Total number of page views the average number of pages per session number of sessions and so on, how long they’re staying on average and then the bounce rate.

So the next big category, which is one that I love, is Acquisition. This is where are your Customers finding you And I always like to do Overview first because again it’s just the dashboard That has all of the metrics in one place and then, of course, you can always drill it down. This would be able To help you to redirect how you’re, using all of your time Like you, could get more On social, then you know where to spend more of your time And you know promoting your business Yeah or if you don’t Having many people coming organically, it’s probably an opportunity that you’re not ranking in search, And so you need to probably do more SEO.

Another category is Behavior So once they’re on your Website what are they doing So, let’s click on the Behavior Tab and go to the overview, So you can see – and we’ve kind of talked about these on the high level overview. You know what how many Pages, are they viewing the average page time bounce rate, but you can actually see Where they’re spending the majority of their Time on which pages, If you go right here to Behavior Flow, you can kind of see a mapping.

Of of how a customer is going through your website, As you get more familiar, With Google Analytics and you’re using it more And more for your business, there may be certain aspects: Of the different reports that you love seeing and Others that just aren’t really valuable to you, So you can go to the Customization section and then create custom. Dashboards and views so that way, when you log in you see the most important things and then you can go back.

To doing what you do best All right, that’s everything! Google Analytics, I hope you found it useful. Let me know in the comments below what you’re favorite piece of data is to track using Google Analytics I’m interested. Is it Page views is it users? Is it traffic sources? Let me know And make sure that you like subscribe and ring that bell. So You know when we have new content coming out. This is “.

The Journey” we’ll see you next time.

Blogging with Seesaw: The power of an authentic audience – PD in Your PJs

Today we are talking about blogging with seesaw the power of an authentic audience, i’m angela with a seesaw team, and i’m really excited to introduce to you cara, 4m who’s, an amazing teacher that has so many great examples of how she uses blogging in her classroom. So cara take it away hi everyone welcome i’m going to share with you this evening of how blogging really can be so powerful for your students and give them a voice that you may be surprised to hear and in such a good way.

I am a current 7th grade, math teacher. However, I did spend the first 19 years of my career teaching grades 3 4 & 5, and you see saw in my classroom in middle school now, as well as using it previously in elementary school as well. So I’m coming to you also from Cary North Carolina and that’s right outside of our state capital of Raleigh. If you’d like to connect with me on social media, you can find me at mrs.

Bream tweets on Twitter and at mrs. Bream math on Instagram. I am a CSUN ambassador and I’m excited to share with you, but also know that I am Google certified level 2 certified educator as well as a national board certified teacher in literacy. I know a math teacher, who’s certified and literacy go figure right. Well, I am so excited to share with you and wanted to give you our plan for today we’re going to share a little bit about why blogging is something that you could and maybe should be doing with your students and then I’ll.

Take you through just the basics of setting up a seesaw blog. We will talk about and I will show you how you can get connected with other blogs, using seesaw and as well as work on collaboration through blogs. Finally, we’ll end up with a practicing digital citizenship. With blogs and I’ll give you some tips that I’ve used in my classroom before as well, so I’m so excited to have you here to talk about blogging.

It can be so powerful for our students to have a voice, that’s heard, and not just you know, heard by the teacher or heard by their family at home, heard by you, know someone walking down the hallway or the administrator who happens to come into the room At that moment, but instead really provide an authentic audience for for student voice and give students a really safe and moderated environment in which they can develop the skills that are going to be needed as they mature and develop and become real citizens in our digital world.

So blogging really allows for having having a place for students to grow and to learn to promote collaboration and conversation and truly give students a place where they can connect with new audiences and whether that be different grade levels in the same school. Different schools at different grade levels or same grade levels or even connect throughout the country or throughout the world and vlogging also allows students to showcase the amazing learning, that’s happening and all of their success and even their failures along the way so that they can learn From each other and have someone and a group of people to to share with and to think about how they’re presenting their work and their ideas with others, so we’re going to be talking today about how seasaw is an amazing tool to use to get students blogging And connected and the basics of blogging, I promise you, if you’re not already set up with a seesaw blog, it can be set up.

Super easy, three, simple, easy steps. So what I have for you are the downright basics. Now this is so basic. You could get started with this right after this PD session. You can get your class connected and ready to go for tomorrow. The first step would be once you’re already logged in to sisa. As a teacher, the teacher would be able to select the blog tab in the top right hand corner once you open that blog tab, a new screen will come up different from the journal and activities or inbox that you might be used to and that blog tab Will tell you hey: this is where your students can share their work and publish their work around the world, so you’re going to click on the learn more button on that page.

The second step would be to set up a public blog URL. So what happens? Is that after you click that last blue button, a screen will pop up that says all right. So let’s set up this public blog and when you click that public blog button you get to name your blog, so you can choose a name for your class blog. Your blog name is something it’s whatever your class is being called. So if you call it, you know, like Miss, B’s class and that’s my PD class, then that’s what it would be called here.

Another option would be, you know, to change the name of your class as opposed, so you could capture that, but the blog URL is that web address that would be used if someone were to search for it and the beginning of each seasaw blog is the same Exact set up where its blog seasaw dot me slash, and then you get to put in what you want it to be named. If it’s an open blog address, you’ll see a little green check.

The example on the bottom is a blog address, that’s already taken, and it will tell you this blog is already taken so thing. You need to change it and tweak it. So once you have that set up, you would click on that green arrow and the next would be to select your blog settings. You have a couple choices. Do you want to allow comments on your blog, and I do have comments allowed on my blog, so the green switch just like all the other switches for see-saw means it’s turned on.

If you wanted to turn it off, then you would slide it to the left and it would look like it’s turned off or closed. You can also have your blog password protected. That’s something that you can choose to do so if you want to have a public blog but also keep it password protected in private, you could do that as well, and that’s something if you want it password protected. You would be able to turn it on once.

You have those two settings set up, then your blog is set up and ready to roll, and they she saw provides for you, your blog URL, and tells you that your students and you are ready to start tapping on the blog icon. That will now appear below any item that’s submitted in their feed view, so the students or the teacher are able to select that and share anything that they put in seiza inside of their blog.

So I want to show you just very quickly what that would look like setting up a blog from your classroom. So I have a seesaw class setup right here and it’s a sample class for PD purposes. My list of students are on the right, and this is what my journal would might look like. I have the blog button right here or I could even click on the wrench button to get there, but I’ll click on that blog button and then remember.

I would click on learn more and I’m going to set up a public blog. So this is the name of a class and you can see that match is what what I called the class here when I set up the seesaw classroom and then I would want to decide on a blog URL. So maybe I want to say blog PD. Well, let’s see if that’s available, oh no, it’s taken! So maybe I want to say blogging PD, let’s see if that’s available, Oh see that little green check right over here tells me I’m good and we will continue enabling the comments on the blog automatically gets turned on.

If you do not want that, you can turn it off, but keep in mind if you, if you have it turned on which I do for my students, all blog comments do require teacher approval. So if something were to come across on the blog, they, you might think your students shouldn’t see, or that was just you know. Students will be students and they might put something a little silly on there. You can certainly delete that, and you know, have a conversation with either whoever typed it from your class or have a conversation with your students about appropriate blog comments, so it really leads into that digital citizenship.

If you wanted to turn on your password, you could do it there as well. The blog has been created, it’s pretty awesome. Now it’s called blogging PD and anytime. I have an item for my blog that I want to add, or my students want to add. They can click on this little world icon and that will take us right into our blog. So here’s our blog, I can click on this gear to customize it even further. This will take me into you know.

I can write a description. I can add an image. So up here, instead of it being all blue, I could put a picture up there of anything that I would like to write here is that blog URL that I could copy/paste share and also see what it looks like live now? I don’t have anything in my blog, but this is what it would look like to an outside audience and so they’re not actually in my seasaw classroom, but they get to see a picture of the learning.

That’s happening all right. So that’s just a quick demo on how to get it set up and, like I said three easy steps you could certainly do that. The big push for my wife or having students blogging is to be connected to connecting connecting my students to other classrooms and being a middle-school teacher. I have different class periods of students so connecting my first period to my fifth period and my sixth period to my fourth period and so on, but also to connect to others outside of my school building outside of my school district and outside of my state and Country so seesaws connected blogs.

Allow you to do that as a teacher, and she saw already has it set up so that it’s very easy to connect with other blogs, so your students can be connected with others and search and see and share with others and grow with others as well. It’s a very safe environment, it’s all within the see-saw boundaries, and I think that that to me as a teacher and even as a mom who has a student or child connected in her classroom, it makes me feel like this is a safe, protected place where we Can learn and grow together when you receive the slides, you can access all the blog resources that I have for you like how to connect specifically connecting blogs to each other and who can I connect with, but just know again, that is a really safe environment and It’s pretty exciting because when you are ready to connect, there are teachers out there throughout the whole globe that, and you can click on this document and be connected with people instantly so, depending on your grade level from pre-k the whole way through 12th grade.

There are blogs listed in this document. It is a fluid document, so teachers are adding to it all the time, adding their blog URL to it, so that you can connect – and I just want to show you very quickly how to connect so we’re going to go back in to the blog that we Created and down here at the bottom, I have a connected blogs, a link that is within that blog page. I can also access that through the wrench.

If I scroll down here, I can find my class blog where it’s turned on. It’s enabled I can always shut it off. If I, if I choose to, I can have a blog on, but not let students post. So I could always turn that off, so they would not see that world icon. If I wanted to take a little break from that or turn it back on, if they’re allowed to post on the blog, this is where the settings might might be. What my blog appearance would look like, but down here at the bottom or the connected blogs right now.

I don’t have any blogs that I’m connected to, because I just set it up. So I would click the plus sign at the bottom to connect to blogs and notice the beginning of the the URL is already there for me. So I just want that part that would connect me to a blog that maybe I’ve um. I went to the list and I’m looking at that document and I found one: this is a PD blog that I created, so I’m going to type this in and click that checkmark.

This would give me is asking: is this a blog you want to connect to, and it gives me a description of the blog? I can even click on it and preview, the blog to see it’s really something that I want to connect to, and if that is something that I want to connect to, then I would connect that blog once I’m connected. Then that means that when my students, when they’re logged in they see that globe in the upper right hand corner they can click on connected blogs and they can select and look at that blog from the list without ever leaving see-saw.

So it allows a global connection without even you know, going into any sort of web site or web search or anything like that. It keeps things very safe. I’r going to also share with you another blog that I had students working on and I’m going to be. Sharing more information about this in another webinar this coming Thursday. Actually. But this is a blog that I use in conjunction with a third grade classroom that we worked with virtually and we created through seesaw a blog.

So when I’m done here and I go back and I I look look and see at what is connected and what’s available, if I refresh my page, the connected blogs should change over here on the right-hand side, and I can see that I have two connected blogs And here they are and I can go and click on them and there I am in that connected blog. This is the PD blog and I can go and see the items that were shared on the blog, and I could comment on that blog because remember: that’s not my students, that’s another classroom, so that connection is so simple and so easy and the best part about It is that I’ll go back to this slide.

See saw already has a document set up a Google Doc set up where you can go in and share your blog URL and get other blog URLs that you can connect with with other teachers from around the world, including some of my students as well collaboration is So powerful, when it’s done through the blog’s, because again, students are, are really working together and getting ideas from each other and sharing their ideas as well through the blog and having that very first outsider blog response is just incredibly priceless.

My students were so excited each and every one of them every time they got their very first blog response, and you can see here that I, the snapshot of this. We had a student posting and Owen from the blog responded that you know this is really cool. But if you don’t know me, I’m on the blog and the students got a kick out of this because they’re like oh look, look, look, someone from the blog is actually like, they saw it, they saw it and it wasn’t their dad.

Chad is the student’s dad. It wasn’t another student in the class. Reishi is another student in the classroom, who’s commenting on it, but it’s someone from the outside and it was so powerful for the students to see that very first blog response. It was also really neat to collaborate with others. We’re here in North Carolina and we were connected with and have been connected with, schools from across the country and a few schools in other countries as well, and some of the really close schools were actually right down the street.

And it was a little silly in a way that the students were like where, where is this school? Where is where’s mrs. Drake and mrs. Drake’s fifth graders were actually a school that was about two and a half miles away and another elementary school. That connected with our fourth grade classroom, and so these students were connecting and didn’t even realize how close they were from each other. They, it felt like a whole world away, but very close, and they were we’re sharing ideas, and you know some of them was.

Oh it, this is just so cool, or I really like this, but it gave them that audience that they didn’t get with or from their their families or their teacher or just hanging something in the hallway. But we did have connections that were from far away and we had a blog connection a couple years ago and we’re in Cary North Carolina. We were connected to a class in Dubai, so that was really neat and also was connected to a class in China.

And my students were excited about that and every time that there was a post from the blog, you know it would give another student’s name notice. Only first names are used no last names except for mine, because I’m the teacher, but it would tell us that it’s from the blog – and we would have these conversations back and forth – between students from the blog and and students in my classroom, and it was so Powerful for them and then they would start asking up, did anyone anyone post it.

I got to go on and check to see if anyone posted on my blog today, so they were really excited to make those connections, and it really fed very nicely into being good digital citizens and seesaws blog feature was a way for us to even practice that Digital citizenship, before I ever even turn the blog feature on one of the things that we talked about, and we talked about in my classroom – is thinking thinking before we post and but we actually started off with the think rule.

Did I share with you here before we ever even talked about anything social media related or blog related? We were just talking about, you, know, being a good person and showing kindness in the classroom and and then it led into a digital conversation, and we talked about digital footprints, but really it’s more of a digital tattoo. So we want to make sure that we have. We have a positive image that we’re presenting for ourselves because we’re sharing with people that we don’t know – or you know we found out some of these people were right down the street, so maybe we would meet them someday and it wasn’t just someone that was a Random stranger, so we practiced as using this think rule before ever diving into the blog feature, because I knew it was coming and I knew I wanted to use it.

But I printed this on weekly to-do list that I had for my students. We had independent checklist that we had. We had posted around the classroom, we talked about it and practice. It weekly actually started using sticky notes at first like okay. Well, tell me tell me one thing that is true. Tell me one thing that was helpful today. One thing that inspired you today, so we used those words and for a couple weeks and we just used sticky notes like an exit ticket, but it was explicitly taught my think rule that I’m talking about here was taught in my classroom, and I think that that Was a real benefit to my students because they knew that the comments that they were going to eventually post on seesaw and then blog and post on seesaw, that all those comments required teacher approval – and I always have that turned on because I felt like they needed To know that someone was reading and someone would see if you want to encourage digital citizenship – here’s a few posters in printables that you could print out for your classroom.

That see-saw provides so different ways that you could share commenting different ways that you can. You know encourage conversation, ideas about what to post and what not to post, and that leads very nicely into a question. That’s often asked is: where should I post this on seesaw? I have all these different options I can have students share in a journal. I can share it in an inbox. We could share it on the blog now so kind of keeping things divvied out into their separate sections and it kind of helps compartmentalize.

What where the sharing should happen. So a journal post would be where student wants to capture their work and or respond to activities or a personalized photo of something like you know. They took a picture of them with something so that that would be in a journal. Taking a picture and putting your picture your your image on the blog, that would not happen in my classroom, so we do talk a lot about how a blog is a public audience and when we’re connecting with other classrooms.

That book, the pictures, the comments, the information should be very its to the public and it should be very eliminating anything personal, so we’re not going to put on personal photos, but maybe we could share a picture of our work. We’re not going to put our full entire name, but we could have our first name. So we have conversations about that, but also you know, if there’s something more private that you want to share, that’s not meant for the blog that would be sending to families and or to even students and families.

Regular communication newsletters reminders class pictures from your learning experience. Whatever that might be so everything kind of has its place, keeping in mind that the blog is a public audience that you’re connecting with other classrooms, so vlogging can be so powerful. It gives students such a strong voice. It gives them a reason. It gives them a. Why – and I certainly hope that you try it with your students if you have not yet tried it and connect with others within the seesaw community.

There’s some amazing things going on out there that I know you’re doing please share with others as well, so you can do that all through. You know the different social media groups that that are out there and I’m so excited that you were here with me today and be in touch. You know you can get in touch with me on Twitter and Instagram as well.

Debugging JavaScript – Chrome DevTools 101

Debugging than you need to this tutorial shows you how to make the most of chrome dev tools so that you can debug your JavaScript as quickly as possible. I’r going to use this buggy demo here to demonstrate all of the debugging tools and dip tools. I recommend that you open up this demo yourself and follow along with each step.

The link is in the description. Whatever issue you’re debugging, you always want to start by reproducing the issue. You want to find a series of actions that consistently reproduces the book in this demo. When I add five and one the result down here at the bottom is 51. Obviously that should be 6. This is the bug that I need to check down at this point. You might be tempted to use console.Log to infer where the code is going wrong.

Sure it may get the job done, but it’s rather inefficient. First, you have to find the relevant code which could take a while on a big code base. Then you have to sprinkle constant log statements throughout the code. Then you got to reload the page and look at the logs, but maybe the logs didn’t give you all the information you need, so you got to go back and add more logs and so on with dev tools.

You can pause the code in the middle of its execution, inspect the variables that are in scope at that moment in time and walk through your code, one line at a time open, dev tools by pressing command option, J on Mac or ctrl shift J on Windows And Linux, then click the sources tab. The sources panel is where you debug JavaScript. It has three main parts at the top left. Here is the file navigator pane, where you can inspect the files that the page uses after clicking on a file.

You can see the contents of it here in the code editor pin and down here is the JavaScript debugging pane, which you’ll learn more about shortly. Note that when your dev tools window is wide, the JavaScript debugging pane moves to the right. If you take a step back and think about how the app works, it’s probably safe to guess that the incorrect sum gets computed in the click event listener that’s associated to the button.

Therefore, you want to pause code right when the eventlistener executes event.Listen their breakpoints. Let you do exactly that. Expand the eventlistener breakpoint section then expand the mouse category then check the click check, box, dev tools now pauses on the first line of any click event listener that executes back in the demo, click the button again and dev tools. Pauses on the first line of this on-click function, the blue highlight indicates what line of code you’re currently paused on, if you’re paused on a different line of code press resume script execution until you’re paused on the correct line you paused on the wrong line, because you Have a Chrome extension which registers click event listeners on every page that you visit.

If you try the workflow I’m describing in an incognito window, you can see that you always pause on the correct line of code event. Listener, breakpoints are just one type of a breakpoint. Dev tools offers many other types. For example, you can set a breakpoint on a specific line of code or when a Dom node changes or when an exception gets thrown and so on. After this tutorial, I recommend checking out our breakpoints guide, which teaches you when and how to use each type.

The link to that guide is in the description too, I’m paused in the click listener, and now I want to execute the code one line at a time. The code stepping control is right here. Let you do that click. The step into next function call button to investigate a function further. For example, when I step into the inputs our empty function, it jumps me to the first line of that function when I’m confident that a function is working as expected, I can click the step over next function call button the function executes, but I don’t walk through It line by line, for example, if I click to step into the next function, call this line here would be highlighted, blue meaning.

This is where I’m currently paused, but when I click step over next function, call the function executes to completion and I pause them. The next line of the function that I’m currently stepping through last suppose, I’m stepping through a function, and I realize it’s not relevant to my bug. In that case, I can press step out of current function and dev tools executes the rest of the function. If this doesn’t make complete sense right now, I recommend creating a snippet, which is a little block of JavaScript code, that you can execute at any time set a breakpoint and your snippet and play around with the code stepping controls yourself in order to understand how they All work back in the script, I can tell that the bug is probably somewhere in the update label function rather than stepping through a bunch of irrelevant code.

I can set a line of code breakpoint right around where the bug probably occurs to do that. I just click the line number next to the code. This blue icon indicates that there’s a breakpoint on this line when I press resume script, execution dip tools runs all the code up until that lime and then pauses before that line executes over here in the JavaScript debugging pane. I can see the call stack that caused this code to execute.

I can click on the functions to see where each one got caught. The scope section shows me all the local and global variables that are currently defined at this moment in time. I can click on values to edit them, but I’m not going to do that right now. However, when I look at these values, they look suspicious they’re, wrapped in double quotes, which means that their strings. This could be the cause of the book.

I’r going to investigate this further over in the read expressions section here. I can read the values of variables over time. You can store any valid JavaScript expression here, for example, I click, Add expression, then type type of sum then press enter, and I can now see the value of that expression, as I suspected sum is a string when it should be an integer. Now I’m going to open up the console to test out a potential fix for the book when I’m paused on a line of code, the console has access to all the variables that are currently in scope.

For example, when I evaluate addend 1, it returns 5. I think I can fix this bug by converting the addend 1 and adding two variables two integers before adding them. So let me try that now yep that fixes it. I can verify that this change fixes the bug by editing the code directly from dev tools. First I’ll resume script. Execution then make my change, save the change. I press command s on Mac or ctrl s on Windows and Linux.

Then I click deactivate breakpoints so that I can test out the app without triggering the breakpoints I’ve set. Now the app sums up numbers as expected, all right, you now have an excellent foundation and how to effectively debug JavaScript using dev tools from here. I recommend learning about all the breakpoints that dev tools has to offer. As I mentioned before, we also have a JavaScript debugging reference where you can learn about literally every feature related to debugging in dev tools.

Links to both are in the description thanks for reading and happy bug, hunting

Com/Angela All right onto today’s show What are some online ways to market your business. In the new year, Angela Brown, This is super exciting and I Have with us Ray Malaski from Get Cleaning Clicks, and this is a cleaning company that He started for his wife and then he said, “ Wait a second. I have a knack for the marketing.”, So he did a deep dive into the marketing And he started researching ways that you could get your business to the top of the search.

Engines Then he started looking at different ways: From social media and different ways that you could grow your business and get more Cleaning clicks so he’s back by popular demand. He already did a show for us before it was A rave review and then people are like have him share with us the online ways we can grow. Our business in the new year, Please help me welcome Ray Malaski Ray Malaski. My name is Ray Malaski.

I run a company called Get Cleaning Clicks. Where we specialize in marketing specifically for cleaning businesses and cleaning business Owners and we offer web design social media SEO Google ads all four based around the Cleaning business Angela Brown, One of the reasons I ask you To join us again today, aside from the fact that, back by popular demand, I know that we’re Moving into a new year – and there are lots of cleaning business owners that are starting With a fresh slate – and this is the year they’re going to make a go of it, And so I would like to talk just for a second About any trends that you see any changes what’s happening on the horizon for 2020, because You’ve got a pulse on it.

You do this all day every day and you focus For the cleaning industry, So you’ve got a really good grasp on what We need and what we need to be doing Ray Malaski This year. The huge thing was Google Guarantee or Google Home Services So that’s a whole nother option of paid advertising. It took guys like me out of the equation: Which I’m absolutely okay with? Because this is a great product for cleaning business owners? Who are just getting started? Don’t have the budget to pay? Somebody like me and really Can just dump everything they want into this one source and maximize the potential of That and grow their business with that alone, Angela Brown And tell us a little bit about That What is that Ray Malaski, If you, Google, “ House, cleaning Near me,.

” Or “ House cleaning, your city,.” You’ll, see three boxes at the top of that. Google search and it’ll say “. Google Guarantee.” And it’ll have the client’s reviews on there. From that cleaning business And it’s a program where you sign up for Google They vet you, so they check your insurance. You have to do background checks on the cleaners And then you become kind of their army of cleaners, And you know there could be two cleaning companies In that market There could be 40 cleaning companies in that Market that are all Google guaranteed and it rotates your ads at the very top of Google In these little square boxes with these stars and people click there, They never even go to your website.

It’s all on their own platform. They click there. They decide to reach out To you, they contact you through there and Google only charges you for that phone call. It’s different with Google AdWords, because They charge you for the clicks, Hey, you got this click. It costs you four Bucks, it costs you five bucks, whatever your market is and whatever the keyword is depends. And fluctuates They took all that out of the equation.

You click there. You call them It’s between 19 and $ 21 for that call You’re paying for leads. This is Google’s answer to Home Advisor and Angie’s List and it’s 10 times better than they have ever been for a cleaning business, Angela Brown. So if that’s the new solution, What happens to the Google AdWords Ray Malaski? You have Google Local, then you Have Google Ads right underneath that Still high value still get great results? Still brings in more customers and more ROI for our clients And then below that you have your map pack And then organic So what’s happening is now that Google, Local Came up at the top it pushed AdWords down.

It pushed the map down even further and it Pushed organic down even further, So it’s taking away from that organic traffic! And finding a way to monetize it and make it work for local businesses, which I think This was a great thing for the industry. It’s not something that’s great for me, because You know it’s basically digital marketing without needing a marketing company. Well, one of the things that you just said: Was you will appear in a rotating banner, So I could still do certain things that would Then help my organic search and my Google AdWords, and things like that, so that I can Guarantee that I’m not just number 15 on the rotation list right, Ray Malaski, You can yes, Because those with a lower budget will get Less exposure, obviously – and you could set your budget within there – Let’s say you’re, just starting out brand New business and you’re like okay, I’m going to give this a go.

I’r going to put 300 bucks, as my budget, Google knows compared to the other ones that Put their money in there, Some people are at a thousand some people, Are 1,500, some people are at 2,000 a month, so they know, based on your budget, that your Ad needs to show about this amount of time to maximize that budget. It’s really all about the money in the budget. You set in that campaign how often you show and the level of competition Angela Brown Is there anything that we could Be doing right now that before we jump on that bandwagon and start paying the, I guess Top dollar, so that we can be in the top spot, is there anything that we can be doing that Will help us promote our business moving into 2020? Is it more blogs? Is it more email? Is it less email? Is it more articles? Is there something specific we can do that Can help boost the visibility in our cleaning businesses Ray Malaski To be everywhere, you possibly Can be that your ideal market is at, And where is that I mean it’s all over the place, Some people, it’s the grocery store with flyers.

On the wall and some people, it’s car magnets when you’re driving down the street, The bottom line is, it all depends on your Budget and if you have a lower budget you’re going to have to go with more of those local Kind of efforts Attend the chamber meeting, put the magnets On hang, the flyers work up a couple of recurring customers where you have some kind of revenue and then start spending it on Google, Local Google ads SEO your website.

Facebook, any Other blogs that are out there, Angela Brown, I keep hearing in the online Space consistency: how important is consistency moving through 2020 that you either have the Same ads posted in the same spot, or that you create a blog post every day at a certain Time or every week, at a certain time or whatever, How important is consistency as far as creating A visual in 2020 Ray Malaski Consistency isn’t necessarily How many times you post here or post there, It’s just making sure you are posting there.

You know Instagram, it’s not anything new For the marketing world, but it’s new for small businesses and people are kind of getting Tired of Facebook and all that absorption of over information And Instagram kind of makes that a nice balance. Because it’s image based It kind of takes away that stress of social Media and just make it image based. So at that point we’re talking about branding You’re putting your company out there you’re targeting local customers in your area, So you want to talk geographically about That area 10 best things to do in my city, something That your customer would be interested in Even if you’re not talking about a cleaning.

Service you’re touching them It’s important to make sure that you’re there When they need you Angela Brown, And is that branding that you’re Talking about for Instagram – and I know you also do the Google AdWords and the Facebook Ads and all those kinds of things Is that branding something that you can help. Our listeners with Ray Malaski Yeah, absolutely Here’s the thing. I don’t find that branding Is important until you’re hitting that over 600,000 a year in revenue, Your marketing budget should be seven to eight Percent of gross revenue, If you have that budget, you can pretty much Absorb that all in lead generation, So lead generation being Google Guarantee Google AdWords SEO some people have had some success with Facebook ads That kind of lead generation where you’re Pumping leads into your business.

These people need the service. Now it’s filling your gaps. In your schedule, it’s helping you grow. That kind of thing, Angela Brown So for 2020, then focus more On the lead generation, instead of the branding necessarily Ray Malaski, It all depends on what stage Of what your business is in If you’re under 600,000 – and you have the time Go ahead, post show your business as active on social media, because people want to see That you’re alive, but don’t dedicate a ton of resources to it because there’s other Things that could be more streamlined, take less of your time and still create more revenue.

Now, if you’re at that 600,000 plus a million Plus, absolutely A lot of businesses that I talked to when They are at that point they kind of flatlined They’ve, hit kind of a market saturation where The lead gen has become less effective because they’re so well known, They’ve been out there for so long. It’s not Coming in, like it used to Now, that’s when branding comes important, And now you want to capture that market, that Doesn’t know about you that one that has been using a franchise cleaning service for Five years and now it’s time for you to tell them why you’re better or offer them a better Solution We offer a free strategy session right down.

On our site, getcleaningclicks.Com, If you Google, that that will pop up You’ll, see the call to action to fill out. The form You fill out the form and we’ll jump on a Quick phone call just to touch base with each other and make sure that our goals are aligned. And then schedule a strategy session where we’ll actually go in, do a market analysis. Is web development dying? | here is what you can do about it.

Everything is dying from the moment is created in the in the early 90s. 90 to 95. Like the Internet’s becoming a thing, people are like hey, I got ta get on the internet.

I got ta get my business on the internet. I got ta get my products and my services and whatever on the internet. Html was this thing that nobody really understood. There’s people out there a few people who were reading books and buying books and they’re really fascinated about this stuff and those are the ones who went out and they started to build websites and eventually they came. They had built so many sites that they had like a system or a template or a framework or something like that and it became a product.

So you get the WordPress. Is you get the joomla’s? You get the Wix, you get all these other things and then you have people coming on with the specific intent of solving some of what they perceive is a problem, so you’ve got YouTube where you can upload articles, you get Gmail for for mail and you got Google for searching and all these different things – and these become big companies in the in the game of search right.

You’ve got Yahoo best. The the search leader like they’re, the number one in search Google, comes along with the new way to to rank search listings, and everyone starts using Google and then yahoo slowly fades away, and this is the same way with web developers. So the the HTML developers slowly faded away to the HTML and CSS developer and they slowly faded away to the the the single page JavaScript application developer, where they’re building a web page – and it’s all just has to be on one page and they just move stuff Around the Dom with JavaScript, then you get you get frameworks and when we get into the framework area now we’re getting into like employers at one point, a company will hire someone specifically to build a website.

They may pay them thousands and thousands of dollars, but once the site is built, they don’t want to rebuild it now. They just need some sort of system to maintain it. If somebody shows up and they’re like hey right, I can. I can implement this thing to make life a little easier, the, but he begins to sell more products. They begin to grow and now they need to put together some sort of web development team, so they bring on another developer and another developer and they all decide that they’re going to use angular or react or whatever to manage this codebase as the company grows and Gets bigger, you’ve got companies, saying hey, we want people who know react or angular review, whatever framework or whatever library is being used that they’re looking for people to to learn those things, because these sites, these businesses, have these sites and they’re already established.

So now they just need someone to maintain them, so you have people who are going out and learning these frameworks and libraries and it becomes a little harder because, if someone’s just coming into the game and they’re like hey, I want to get a job building websites And they start to look nobody’s looking for HTML and CSS or JavaScript, specifically they’re looking for a react in angular, and you know these fancy buzzwords, those skills will help you HTML, CSS and JavaScript will help you to learn the frameworks and wrap your head around the Frameworks and how they work and be able to to maintain them and implement them.

So if you want to go the job route, then you start out with HTML CSS JavaScript, and then you go on into whatever framework that you want to work on full-time. If you want to be a freelancer, then it’s a whole different story: you’re competing with people who went to college you’re competing with people. Who’ve learned these frameworks and they’re saying I can build these things in these frameworks.

You just have to have a way to set yourself apart. Everything is always dying, the automotive industry is always dying. The legal industry is always every industry is always dying. This is what people say, but in reality the economics behind it all is that the complicated things are becoming simpler or the or the the complexity of these things is being covered up by some sort of system like in the case of coding and programming.

You’ve got libraries and frameworks that make it so you have to write less code and you don’t have to think as much about logic. Some some frameworks, you don’t have to think as much about planning you just you just worry about your core program and the framework handles everything else. At the same time, inside of these frameworks, the companies that are maintaining them better, making them that it building products on them.

They need people who understand these frameworks, so there is always a route to go depending on where you want to go in the pyramid. It’s it’s harder and that could be perceived as dying right before I can learn HTML and CSS, and I can go out and find a job right away. But now I have to learn. You know this framework at this library in VN, I’m still competing with a bunch of people who went to college for all different kinds of things and decided they wanted to be developers and they became self-taught developers too, and all these different things what it all boils Down to is the ability to to understand that that the to go from here, HTML, CSS and JavaScript to react or angular view or something is going to be a steep road.

But there is a lot of opportunity in between that. A lot of people are going to miss because they’re aiming for this specific thing, there’s still companies that need websites just basic web pages and there’s still companies that need that needs custom, setups or custom designs or custom. Whatever a lot of people miss that, because they’re aiming specifically for the job, where they’re going to be doing angular or a reactor view or whatever and it’s harder in those places, because you have a lot more people who are looking for jobs specifically like full-time jobs, Then there are people who are looking just to to build their own apps their own services or provide some sort of web development service or very a specific niche part of web development, like maybe you focus specifically on shopping carts and increasing customer retention or increasing the Shopping cart, size through suggested upsells and down sales and stuff, like that, or maybe you use focus specifically on design and laying out pages that drive people through a certain process that results in more sales and more customers.

Those are just the things you have to do like you have to go from being a generalist to some sort of specialist and as you progress in your knowledge, then you specialize on something that’s going to make more and more money, something you can charge more and More for because somebody else, maybe they’re not as good as better, they don’t have as many examples or whatever team so yeah what development is always dying.

Everything is always dying at some point. The skill that you have right now, the things that you’re doing the things that you’re learning they’re going to become commoditized or the complexity is going to be completely abstracted away. Where most anybody can do these things right, it’s the same using Excel on a computer in nineteen. Eighty is way different from using Excel on a computer right now before it was hard like people were hired specifically just to know how to use that application, and then these things became simpler.

People weren’t hired specifically on how to use Excel. People were hired specifically to figure out how to implement certain that how to turn these large spreadsheets into like these quasi applications, that anybody could use to make calculations and do their daily work. Then at some point that became easy and then you had got a whole nother breed of people who were or their specific job is to maintain databases that maintain an Excel spreadsheet.

So it’s just everything is always dying. Just remember that the best thing to do is to just pick what it is you enjoy doing and learn that and focus on that become an expert at that and being go out into the world with that thing, all right team, that is it for this vlog. If that made sense, leave a comment below share click, the notification bell click the subscribe button, so you so you so you subscribe to the blog and you get the articles.

You get the vlogs on the regular basis when I update them. When I bring when I bring new content – and I will see you in the next vlog team –

5 Real Estate Agent Marketing Ideas that You’ve NEVER Thought of

Okay. What’s up, I’m at one of my listings: it’s a two-bedroom on the beach for 550 and I think you should take this moment to click Subscribe and hit the bell, because I’m posting new articles every Tuesday and Thursday to teach you how to get listings. Just like this one, all right in my house now – and I want to go through these five real estate marketing ideas that you never thought of, I’m just going to jump right into it here.

The first thing, a marketing idea for real estate, that I want you to start doing right now today is I want you to take your entire email database of all of your clients. All of your past clients. Internet leads all the emails that you have and I want you to create a custom Facebook audience with that with those emails, and what that does is is it creates an audience that you can name. It can be clients, it can be.

You know whatever you want. It to be – and it’s in your Facebook audiences now when you run Facebook Ads, you can run ads straight to those clients right and your dollars will be going just to those people in their Facebook feeds. Okay, so that’s big, because you know that every dollar you spin on facebook advertising is going to go straight to people that already know you or have heard of you or in your database getting emails from you, maybe or whatever the case may be.

This is huge because it builds brand recognition, they see your email and they see you on Facebook now they’re, seeing you in both places, if they’re not opening up their email right, but they are looking at Facebook. They’ll see you there, so this is big. I think a lot of your leaving money on the table with this okay tip number two is to combine your Instagram profile with your facebook business page and, if you don’t want to do that, create a second Instagram account just for your real estate business and combine That make it a you know, switch it to a business account and connect it to your facebook business page.

That way, when you’re running those Facebook ads to your custom audience who are already your clients, you can simultaneously run those same ads on Instagram to the same people. I think this is amazing, because now, if someone, if one of your clients opens up the emails great, if they don’t open up the email and they’re on Facebook, they see you there if they’re, not opening your emails or on Facebook but they’re on Instagram, they see You there right and if they open the emails on Facebook and on Instagram, they see you everywhere.

This is big because I run Facebook ads connected to the Instagram account every day. I have something running to my clients and so every day, they’re seeing me and it’s not always about real estate. It might be about a good place to eat. It might be about an event in the area. I’ll do another article going deeper with these ideas, but for now I just want you to know what these five marketing ideas are.

This third marketing idea is something that I’ve used, maybe three or four times, and it’s giving me huge exposure. Okay, I’ll go, Facebook live and it’ll be a short, maybe one-minute live article, maybe a minute and a half of the most and it’ll. Be me thanking everyone for the support and and love over the years and how much I care about everybody and how now I’m going to give $ 100 or $ 50, or maybe two different gift certificates to two really nice, restaurants or one really nice, restaurant and All they have to do is comment like and share this post, and so what happens is is on Facebook live, and I tell everybody how much I care about them and if they ever need anything in terms of real estate feel free to reach out I’ll.

Do everything you can do to help them, and what I want to do for you guys is. Is I want to give away this gift card? I’r going to pick a winner in three days or two days or, however long? Do you want to make the contest for and you’re going to say all you have to do is like comment and share this post. Okay from there. What happens is you can go, live from your business, page or or your personal profile, and so either way? It goes if you do it for your personal profile.

You need to share it to your business page. If you’re doing it on your business page, then you’re good right. You might want to share it to your profile. Just so all your friends and family see it as well, but from your business profile you’re going to boost it, you’re going to boost it to all those clients that are in that that list right, you’re going to boost it there and you’re going to boost this.

To everybody in your area, the general public, you can target the demographic you want, maybe twenty five year olds and up – and you know whatever the targeting you want to do for your area, but target and and run this ad. You boost this post to your clients. Your database, your custom audience that I just talked about and to the general public in your area right and what happens is every time somebody shares that the views start climbing higher and higher and higher.

I had a article that was 15,000 views because of this, and so those 15,000 views saw me saw that I cared about. People saw that I was in real estate and I’m here if they need anything at all and in the text above the article. I put you know my name, my company, my phone number and all that stuff, and I put the details of the contest when I’m going to announce the winner and then, when the day comes to announce the winner.

You know I just announce it. I actually edit the post, I put it there. I put it in the comments, I tag everybody and then I make sure they get the gift card or whatever, and it’s giving me huge exposure. So that’s a really good one. The fourth marketing idea I want to give you guys is to do a weekly email every single week on the same day of the week forever to your entire database. This has been the glue and the foundation that has held my business together, and it keeps me relevant with everybody in my past in terms of real estate, and they know that they can call me – and you know I’ll – go over the top two to make sure That you know everything is good and I’ll do anything for them to help them, and they know that so they get this weekly email every single week on the same day of the week forever and what it does is it grows those relationships deeper for you.

Without you having to really put in the work of calling all these people back, because when it’s it it’s consistent, it shows how dependable hard-working professional knowledgeable that you are and that’s what people want to see comment below. If you like, the first four ideas, tell me what you think of them. Tell me if you know you’re going to use them and put them into action. You know type. Yes, if nothing else to tell me that you’re going to try one of these ideas, so the fifth real estate, marketing idea that you’ve, probably never heard of, is run ads and Instagram stories.

Instagram stories is really big right now, people, it’s really growing. People are really reading it. There’s 800 million people monthly users on Instagram, 300 million of them are reading the stories and it’s growing. This is also somewhere where there’s some underpriced attention, because Instagram is still trying it out right. It’s still new into the market, and when things are new, it features are new and and the way different platforms run.

Their ads is a new situation. That’s when you really need to take advantage of it. For example, back on Facebook life first started when you went live it sent it to everybody. A lot (, singing ), Rosemary and apparently a lot of people still do Plague Plague A plague on both your houses. ( echo, ), your houses, your houses during the Black Plague, rosemary, was Huge because people believe that it helped stop the plague. People would Place rosemary branches on the floors of their homes to help combat the plague. But there is also a very popular concoction called the four thieves Vinegar, this concoction was primarily composed of rosemary sage, lavender and Rue because of these factors, Rosemary’s price skyrocketed – I mean it was worse.

In fact they Recorded Napoleon as using 162 bottles of rosemary water in just the first Three months of 1806, but does it stop there? No definitely no positively, no decidedly no nuh uh Napoleon was such a fan of rosemary.

How To Do Email Marketing For Affiliate Marketing! (Step By Step)

Here with Eric Ellis jr. Dot-com and have you been struggling with email marketing, or are you trying to figure out how to get started? Have you been running email, marketing campaigns, but your emails haven’t been converting? You haven’t been getting cells. This article is going to show you step by step, how you can write a converting email and, more importantly, the steps necessary to actually convert your emails into dollar dollar bills stay tuned guys the fortune is in the follow.

The reason why I wanted to do this is because I was creating my email marketing campaign and I decided why not share this, so I can go and give value to people because people might be struggling with in their email marketing. Let me ask you a question: um, have you heard of email marketing? Have you started to email marketing coming to one or two below coming up one below if you’ve heard of email, marketing khamenei two below if you’ve actually started implementing it into your business? Now the thing is, and also I’m going to want you to comment where you’re from so I want to see where people are viewing from, but more importantly, share this to your feed.

People who are in affiliate marketing can definitely bit benefit from this right now. Um, basically, what I use is I use Aweber Aweber is the software I use to actually create my emails to do my email marketing campaigns right, but I want to share with you guys a strategy um that not a lot of people are taking, that Vantage of When it comes to their email, marketing, business and I’ll try to make this as quick as possible right, but basically, if this is an email marketing tutorial to help, you crush it within your affiliate marketing business and how to increase your conversion.

So that way, you can crush it as an affiliate marketer. Now a lot of people who start doing email marketing the way that they’re taught is you get them through your sales funnel once you get them to yourselves when you capture that lead, then you follow up with them, and then you reintroduce them back into your sales. Page right was correct, however, when you’re introducing them to your sales page.

If all you’re doing is pitching your email list, you literally have no chance of succeeding as an affiliate marketer long term. The engagement on your list is going to go downhill now, if you have thousands of dollars that you’re spending per week – and you constantly – I have new people coming on your list – cool a lot of people do that, but at the end of the day, if you Want to start a long term, sustainable business with your affiliate, marketing, business or internet marketing business.

You want to make sure that you are simply providing value to your lists. Now what I mean by that people are going to be more engaging with your actual guys. All email marketing is for an email list. It’s a distribution blog, it’s a following! It’s another form of a following! Imagine if you had a large Instagram following and all you did was pitch people on it on an business opportunity or some sort of opportunity.

They’re eventually going to go ahead and your engagement is going to go out the window right. It’s the same thing with an email list: it’s a following. You have to keep them engaged. You have to keep them to where they like you and, more importantly, you want to build a list of people who know like and trust you, because people don’t buy stuff from people, they don’t know like and trust. So an example: I’m simply going to show you guys real time me.

Actually, I’m setting up my email follow-up series now, basically, you can do this for broadcast or you can do this with just regular follow-up series right now. What I do is, I simply search the web for valuable content that is congruent with the following that I’m building and will provide value to my list right now. People think it’s a waste of time, um, creating email, copy, write, writing emails and providing value because they’re like them.

If I create something like this, I’m not going to generate any income guys. One thing garyvee preaches is that majority of the moves that he makes us for 10 years ahead of time. It’s the same thing with email, marketing right make moves not for today, but for tomorrow. If you want a long-term, sustainable business, you have to provide value. It’s called the 8020 rule, 80 % by a 20 % pitch, so um guys.

You can do this anywhere, but one thing that I’m using is basically: where are we so click funnels? If you guys don’t know what click photos is, if you do know that it is great, they have a blog where they have podcasts and basically, what they do is they have valuable content within my niche, like ever in digging this amount of valuable. So what I’m going to do is I’m simply just scrolling down seeing what what people see value in right.

Now, if you look at this, I’m not look at this, but if we look, I was looking at a couple of articles that this article has 287 shares. Now, I’m not even going to read this article, but if you read what it says, assembly says how to scale your ads like purple. Now any of you reading this article who have started affiliate marketing, internet marketing, e-commerce, whatever it may be right and you failed in paid advertisement if you received an email right, I’m going to show you the headline, because all I’m doing is.

I did not listen to this podcast. This is simply the finding valuable content and I’m just going to go ahead and literally distribute this to my following. So my email list. Basically, I basically keep filling actually keep telling with paid ads, but I’m going to say tired of filling with paid ads, so a capturing headline. So basically, if you receive the email, one thing when it comes to your email marketing is that you’re competing.

If I was go to my email, I literally get about 50 emails a day. So with that being said, I do go through all my emails, my process of my emails that literally delete about 90 % of them and then about 10 % of them I’ll go ahead and save and then I’ll filter based off of the headlines. Whether I want to go through them or not so based off of your headline, it will be extremely crucial, now again share this feed, because somebody could benefit from this share.

This people want to learn about email marketing, even if you’re not doing affiliate marketing. You just want to learn how to follow up with leads, or you want to learn how to generate leads right, there’s going to be crucial for you guys, but so this is going to be cat eye capturing tired of filling with paid ads. That is when it comes to marketing negativity sales. Why do you think the media is always talking about negative negativity, negativity, negativity, negativity because people subconsciously rather listen to something negative than something positive.

Unfortunately, right if I was to say, learn how to crush it with paid advertisement and compares them to tired of felling with paid ads, it’s not going to convert as high as as as high as this negative headline for the email now guys, just kind of recap: People are brand new to email, marketing. Basically, email marketing is simply following up with the leads that you generate from a sales funnel driving traffic, whether it’s paid or free traffic.

Once you generate those leads you’re going to follow up with them, not only with different offers. Right within your niche, so that way you can monetize that email list, but what I’m going over right now is how to ten times how to freakin crush it. How to increase your conversions in yourself, I believe it or not. People are probably thinking how do I increase my sales with certain sort of email copy, I’m actually going to break down this email copy, but no the main way to increase your sales is by building trust with your list building a relationship by sending them valuable content.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_X7Ch-5jE-0

So, let’s eeeek this email copy. Yes, I did write this myself. No, I’m not a copywriter. However. I’ve been studying marketing sales and marketing for a long period of time. So I dunno what does selling what it does not sell. So, let’s break it down so pay for an Eric here. I’ve I’ve been there dot that dot. So that’s basically like a cliff cliff hanger. It gets people to keep on reading because subconsciously they’re like you’ve, been aware.

Eric now, obviously is congruent with this chart of filling with paid ads right. You tired now guys I speak very improper in my emails because I’m a regular person – and I don’t – I don’t – try to seem very Scelzi and like a robot right. Sometimes it’s an improper grammar and sometimes I’ll do curse right. You, tired of spending money and not getting a return on your investment question mark and also I’m basically um starting the pain right, hitting people with pain, tapping into people’s emotions.

People who have felt this before or tried as before, they’re going to go ahead and continue to read this and then I transition with relating with my reader right relating with my audience. I remember when I first started internet marketing. I spent and there’s a real-time guy. So I haven’t even edited it. I spent thousands of dollars without a single cent in return, so thousands of dollars on paid ads you because I’m streaming he’s going a little bit slow without a single cent in return, after failing so much and losing so much right again, I’m relating with them, I’m Hitting with that pain, I thought to myself now guys whether I was just to kind of give you guys um the the philosophy behind this.

The reason why you want to write a fantastic email copy for, if you’re, pitching a product or even if you’re pitching something for free, is because the better your email copy, the higher the conversions, the higher the conversions. That means the higher the higher your open rate with the headline or subject line, rather the higher your click-through rate, the better your email copy, the more people open your content, whether it’s free or, if you’re, pitching or promoting something and the better, your the more people That open it, the more people you’re going to establish the relationship with the more you’re going to build that core following and the more you’re going to be able to monetize.

So again, everything is long-term. Now um, I said after filming so much and losing so much. I thought to myself: what would a successful person do and guys telling a story engaging compelling right? The answer, dot dot, another cliffhanger get them to keep on reading, seek guidance from those who are freaking, crushing it Bryant here da-da-dah is a savage and paid per click. Advertising he spends in a day more than the average marketer will spend in their career on paid advertisement in this free podcast and I’m going to break down what.

While I’m boating some of his text in this free podcast. He unveils his secrets on his marketing strategies and how you can steal them for yourself. Absolutely free. Now, guys one of the most powerful words and marketing is the word free. It will increase your conversions by 10 to 20 to 30 percent, meaning when people read this engaging compelling, but also you’re using trigger words like free, which naturally is clicked.

Maybe people want to people like free shit, so take advantage of this by clicking here clicking here. Two actions within this short email there’s a lot of psychology behind this email and guys remember the long-term game just for me to simply build a relationship with my audience. When I build a relationship – and I provide value then when I refer something one of my affiliate marketing offers they’re going to be more inclined to buy, because they know me they like me.

They trust me right so before they find out how I said take advantage of this by clicking here before they find out how valuable this training truly is and take it down so guys. What this is, it’s called scarcity scarcity is fear of loss. I’r getting people to take advantage of what I’m offering, because I’m using the fear of loss for your technics people, don’t wan na miss out FOMO fear of missing out me saying that, though they’ll take it down, because it’s very valuable.

It’s going to increase the conversions, write more details here, your friend Eric Ellis jr.. So what I’m simply going to do right? You find any platforms, any type of podcast, whether you’re in health and wellness, whether you’re an internet marketing, whether you’re it doesn’t matter what the hell you’re offering fine. It’s called content marketing guys find valuable content simply use. Google find valuable content that will be congruent with your actual list and the following that you’re building for your affiliate, marketing or internet marketing business, and then what you do.

Is you simply find that valuable concert literally just distribute it to your list? But I wanted to actually show you guys so we’re going to simply copy this right. I wanted to show you guys how you guys cuz it’s not just about providing value. You want people to actually click it to convert as well. So that’s where the email copy comes into place, and this is how you write fantastic email copy. You can write the same type of copy to actually sell something.

It’s going to increase conversions people buy stories right, people want to be entertained. So what I’m going to do is somebody with that blog I’m going to go ahead or podcast, rather so, where I have it black Shh, I’m simply just going to go ahead and post the URL for the blog for the podcast rather, but I missed it all. Will do to do you sorry for this part, because this is acting extremely slow clicking here you you we’re almost done, and I want to go and wrap this up.

By give you guys a call to action and again share this feed. Somebody can extremely benefit from learning about email, marketing and guys. The secret is one word value value value, even if you’re pitching somebody, you want to have a compelling email that provides value with an actual ad copy or not ad comfortably email copy, so basically just to wrap it up guys. What I did is simply created email copy found.

Well first, I found the content and found what I wanted to go ahead and distribute to my list. Once I found out what I wanted to distribute to my list, I wrote up email copy. I did not even listen to this podcast, but I know that it’s valuable because that’s 287 shares. Obviously, if other people are sharing it, it’s valuable content right, just to kind of give. You guys high insight on something that’s valuable and some of that’s not the more of the shares.

The more people are engaging with it, the better the content is, then, what I did is I wrote up email copy. I simply used a capturing headline to get people to increase the open rates I use. Cliffhangers are related with my reader. I basically use pain. It’s called the PS formula, past pain and agitation solution. The solut is what I’m offering, which is this podcast and I’m using scarcity, fear of loss to get people to take advantage and have multiple call to actions within my list.

Now I use the same formula and the same way to actually pitch products for refer products. Rather, with all my email marketing now, why is this crucial guys when you provide value to your list? I would simply save this. Come actually going to use this. You provide value to your list. You start to build a relationship with them. That’s how you build a core following literally you have to swallow the fact that 90 % of the people on your list will never buy a single product from you, but it’s that 10 %, that you build a relationship that are causally going to be opening up.

Your emails they’re going to be looking for your content and they’re going to be looking for what you’re referring that’s, where 90 % of your income will be that 90 % of your income is in the 10 %, so email marketing tutorial guys. You find valuable content. You distribute it write, compelling email copy and you freaking send it to your list and you do this, every other email, some emails. You should pitch your product, some emails.

You should just give them complete freaking value. Now, if you look somewhere at the top, the bottom right left, if you guys don’t have a cell phone a software or even if you don’t know how to create cells for us to actually capture leads. So that way you can start building a list. Is I’m going to go ahead and give you guys access? It’s called the simple affiliate funnel, which is basically right.

It’s going to go ahead and allow you guys to capture leads now. Let me see if I can actually pull this up for you guys. You OOP extremely still because I’m streaming, but basically what I’m trying to say is go ahead and click that link to get access to these simple affiliate funnel, which will allow you to basically basically start building a list. So you can go to simple affiliate, funnel calm and practicing.
