Turn a web app into a PWA in 10 minutes

I will show you how to turn an existing application into a progressive web application using just a plain JavaScript API. So if you want to see how we built this application, go ahead and check out the first article, let’s get started, so our application is a newsreader. We have a plain application with just some news articles being displayed.

What I want to do now is turn this application into a progressive web application. What I want to be able to do is install this application on devices that support it and have it run offline, so that we can see some previously fetched news, even if we are offline now, when we’re building a progressive web application, a good place to start Is the application tab in chrome, dev tools? It will essentially guide you through the steps needed we’ll start up here at the manifest tab and right now we can see that there’s no manifest detected.

So that’s a good indication of what we need to do. First, so we’ll jump into our code here and we will create a new file a any test web any first. The web manifest is just a JSON file containing some of the basic information about our application. Like its name, what URL should start some basic things like icons as such once we have, the file itself will go into our index file and we’ll link to our manifest.

So just the same way as we would link to a style sheet. We will link to our manifest file, we’ll save this go back to our browser refresh, and we should be able to see that we have our manifest file here. So we can see our icons, we can see the name. We can also see that there’s an add to homescreen link here now, so this is a good way for us to check if our application is in fact installable. So let’s click on it.

Ok, so we can see that we can’t install this because there’s no matching serviceworker detected, so that’s again a good indication on what we need to do next, so I’ll create a new service worker phone service worker jeaious, if you’re not familiar with a service worker, it’s Essentially, a JavaScript worker that sits between your application and the network. This means that whenever your application goes out to the network, it will pass through the service worker it’ll.

Allow us to do things like caching in between, so we can decide ourselves whether or not we actually want to go out to the network for a particular resource. We can also decide that we can return some things from our cache if we are offline. So this will allow us to make our application work offline. Ok, so we have our service worker file. The next part of using a service worker is registering it, so we’ll go into our load listener here and once we’ve fetched our noose, the user is already happily using the application.

We can go ahead and register our service worker call. This register SW so we’ll implement this service worker register. The registration looks something like this, so we have a quick feature detection. First, we want to make sure that the browser actually does support service worker before we try to register it. We then call service worker dot register on the navigator object and pass in our service worker file.

So let’s save this: let’s go back to our application refresh and see if we got an service worker, it’s a little bit smaller. So we can now see that we do in fact have a service worker file, while you’re developing. It’s really good to keep this update on reload check that way. You’ll get all the new changes that you make to service, who are very visible immediately. Instead of having to close the window and reopen it, which would normally be required for a service worker to take take effect so we’ll go back and turn the manifest file here, our manifest tab will click on add to homescreen and see.

If we’re, there already turns out worse able to install the application, because the browser is telling us that the page doesn’t work offline. Now that makes sense, because our Service Worker file is completely empty and the Service Worker is a completely event-driven thing, so it can only run code if some event triggers that. The first event that gets triggered on a serviceworker is the install event.

So we’ll add a listener for the install event on the serviceworker itself. Typically, what we want to do in the install event is cache. Some like static files that we know our application will need the way we do that is by using the cache API. So we’ll open up a cache with a given name, and then we will add a list of static assets that we have. So, let’s define our cache net first cache name, let’s call this use v1 and then we’ll define an area of the different static assets that we have so our index, page CSS and JavaScript files, and so on.

We’ll save those. The final thing that we do here is we call skip waiting which will cost the serviceworker to move into the activate face the activate faces, essentially when a new service worker takes over from any previous service workers. Normally, what you would do here is clean out any previous versions of your cache. For instance, what I’m calling here is self got clients that claim which will essentially tell my service worker to start servicing the running application immediately, instead of waiting until the next time.

We get to this application. This will allow us to keep start fetching and caching, the newest articles already on the first time, all right so we’ll go back to our application, will refresh here make sure that we have a new Service Worker up and running. We can go in and check in our cache tab here that everything that we defined in that static array did get cashed now that we have stuff in the cache.

Let’s go back to our manifest tab here and see if we’re able to add this to the home screen, it turns out that we are still not able to do add this to our home screen, because it’s still not working offline. The way the browser knows that it’s not working offline is because, even though we did put stuff into the cache we haven’t used any of that stuff, so we still need to prove to the browser that we work offline.

The way we do that is by listening for yet another event, so we’ll add a listener for the fetch event. Now this listener will get. Essentially, this listener will intercept any fetch request going from our application out to the network, so this will allow us to handle these requests any way we want to. Essentially what I’m doing here is I’m differentiating on traffic based on where it’s going. So if we’re fetching something from our own application, so that would be any of these static resources.

We want to check first, if it’s in our cache and return that, and if not, then we could go to the network. If we’re fetching news, though, what we want to do is we want to fetch the latest news first and then only if we’re unable to do that because we’re offline or whatever, then we want to see if we might have an older version in our cache. So the cache first strategy would look something like this.

So first of all, we will open up the same cache that we had from before. We will then call cached match see if there’s something in our cache that matches this request. If there is we’ll return that, if not, we will fall back on the network, the network first strategy will look a little bit different, but should be pretty straightforward as well. So what we do here is we will open up the same cache but we’ll first try to see if we were able to fetch that from the network.

If we are able to fetch it from the network, we will put that version into the cache. So we’ll put a clone of it just because we’re only able to read a response once so that way we can put one version into the cache and then return the other one. If any of this fails. So if we’re unable to fetch the latest news, we’ll fall back on something that we have in our cache, so we’ll again call this cache that match and return that.

So, let’s go to our browser. Let’s refresh here, let’s look at the serviceworker here we have a serviceworker here, just registered. We can go into our cache storage here, verify that we’re caching stuff, not only those static assets that we have, but also some stuff from the network, and if we now go into the manifest file tab here, click on add to home screen. It will actually trigger the Add to Home screen logic.

We should always also be able to go to the serviceworker tab here and take our application offline and still be able to refresh and see that it’s working. So hopefully this gave you a good idea of what it’s like to turn an application into a progressive web application by adding that manifest file and adding that serviceworker now, normally, if you’re building an app for yourself, you probably don’t want to use this very low-level API That I just showed you there are libraries like workbox, that I’ll link in the show notes below that you can use to kind of simplify this a whole lot and gives you much more tools to do.

Things like manage your cache size and how many, how many images you want to cache or how long you want to keep something in the cache for all right. So thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed it I’ll see you later.

Distribution Strategy – An Introduction

However, before we start, let us just list the learning goals for this article. The goal is to understand what distribution strategy is, why we need to know about it and how we could go about using it. We will do this through establishing a general understanding of the actual purpose of distribution strategy and look at what might impact the success of our distribution blog choice.

We will also provide an overview of some additional available tools and theories that we, as marketers, can use when determining the blog choice of a product or a service. So, let’s start what is the purpose of distribution strategy and what is the connection to the rest of the marketing mix? When you are asked to design the marketing mix, you need to make decisions on four or seven core elements, also known as the four of the seven P’s.

First of all, any issues concerning the product. This would include packaging and all other elements in connection with the products. Secondly, a decision on price. Thirdly, you will need to decide on the place, which is what this article will address. We will also need to make a plan of which promotional activities we will carry out in order to tell our customers about our products and encourage them to buy if we’re dealing with an offering that is better described as a service or perhaps a product.

That includes large elements of service. We might also want to look at the additional three piece: the people that are involved in delivering the service, the process that our customers will go through in order to receive our service and the physical evidence any visible or tangible elements that the customer will see. Here. Point other ways experience when receiving the service. None of the four or the 7ps should be decided on in isolation.

However, place is the P which we will focus on in this article. So why is it important to make sure we choose the right distribution blogs? Let us use an example: this business produces French cakes and desserts in these modern production facilities, well-educated confectioner’s, develop recipes and create delicious cakes and desserts ready to be sold and distributed to cake, loving customers. What will impact the success of the chosen distribution, blogs and subsequently, which considerations are relevant when making their choice of distribution set up? Let us imagine that they had the idea of selling their cakes and desserts in rural areas through roadside self-service booths, while customers were expected to show up and purchase the products without any assistance.

In this case, we could argue that they should first of all, have considered some market factors. Firstly, what is the location and concentration of their customers? Is it likely that they will be able to sell to a suitable amount of customers with this kind of setup? Secondly, do their customers expect to buy these types of cakes and desserts at roadside booths? If not, it could be a challenge to convince them of the value in doing so.

Thirdly, we would advise them to consider whether the customers would be able to get the information and service expected when using this type of setup. Our recommendation for French cakes corporation would, amongst other factors, depend on their answers to these questions about market factors. Let us imagine another scenario where French cakes are considering establishing a chain of French cakes cafes through which they will sell their cakes and desserts.

In addition to the market factors which we have already discussed, we as marketers would also advise them to consider some factors about themselves. Firstly, do they have the required resources to undertake such an investment regarding both time money and people? Secondly, what level of control do they desire from their distribution blog owning the distribution? Blog gives ultimate control, but it comes at a price.

Thirdly, we might discuss with them whether their product range is wide enough to meet customers needs, so our recommendations for this company would, amongst other factors, also depend on their answers to these questions about themselves. We could also imagine that the company were keen on creating an online web shop where their customers could order their cakes and desserts and get them delivered directly to their homes.

In addition to the market and producer factors which we have already discussed, we would also advise them to consider some factors about the actual products. Firstly, does the perishability the fairly short shelf life of a cake of desert suit, this type of distribution? Would they be able to deliver the product while it’s still edible? Would there be ways of overcoming this obstacle? Secondly, our cakes and desserts suitable for handling in this way, and thirdly, with other types of products, complexity could be an issue, so our recommendation for this company would, in addition to the factors already discussed, also depend on the answers to the questions about the actual products.

We might also imagine that the company is keen on distributing their products through supermarkets in order to reach a large number of people from their target group. In this way, in addition to the previously discussed factors, we would also ask them to consider some facts about their competitors. Firstly, which blogs are their competitors using, and, secondly, is it possible to achieve differentiation through choice of blog? Let us imagine that in one particular supermarket chain, consumers are not exposed to the competitors.

Cakes of desserts distributing the products through this chain would therefore enable them to differentiate from the competition and ultimately have a better chance of selling their products to the end consumers. So our recommendation for French cakes corporation would, in addition to the other already mentioned. Factors also depend on their answers to these questions about the competitors. So when advising the company on their choice of distribution blogs, we would look at some market factors.

Some factors about the French cakes corporation itself, factors about the products and some factors in connection with a competitive situation. And finally, we would look at the rest of the marketing mix to ensure that the choice of place corresponds with how French cakes cooperation wishes to be positioned in the minds of the customers. We have now established the purpose of distribution strategy, what it is and why we need to know about it, and we have established that there are many factors which we need to look at before.

We can decide on the best place to distribute our product or service. So, let’s move on in addition to the factors we have just discussed, we as marketers have some additional tools and theories. We can use to guide us when determining which distribution blogs to use. These will not be described in detail in this article, but let us just introduce an overview of some of the tools and theories we might want to use.

We would determine whether we’re dealing with consumer b2b, and/or services, distribution, blogs, distribution intensity should be looked at to what extent, and in which context do we want our product or service to be available to the end consumers? Thirdly, we would consider whether to use independent intermediaries setting up a franchise operation or perhaps go for blog ownership. We should also look at the physical distribution system, which would include decisions on transportation of goods, inventory issues and order processing procedures.

If we’re dealing with retail, we could also look at the process of retail differentiation. Finally, we should also look at how we could manage the relationships with our chosen distribution blogs so that it remains prosperous for both us and for the from parties within the blog. We have now established an understanding of the purpose of distribution strategy, the different factors that impacts our choice.

And lastly, we have presented an overview of some additional tools and theories available to us when determining a suitable place to distribute our product or service. To learn more about distribution strategy and how to use the different tools and theories introduced in this article, I recommend that you read chapter 17 in David Jabba and Fiona in this Chadwicks principle and practice of marketing management.

2020 Real Estate Marketing Strategy For Real Estate Agents

I want you to know that this is my life. This is real. Relationships are universal. What’s up everybody Ricky truth here, welcome back to my blog. So today I want to get into the best marketing strategy for real estate agents, and this is how I built my business and a lot of you probably already know this strategy.

But I’m going to go through it again because hearing things over and over and over again is sometimes what actually helps you put it into action. The first thing I want you to do if you haven’t already sign up for my completely free real estate coaching program, I’m the first completely free coach, that’s a zero to diamond comm. Okay, there’s a 90 day action plan online course training twice a month and you have direct access to me.

Ok, so, let’s get into this marketing plan. This is something I’m very passionate about. I’ve been in real estate for 17 years, I’ve sold over a hundred properties. A year for the last five years going on six, I’m on track to do it this year as well – and this is what I’ve learned over my career as the very best strategy and it’s even more relevant in today’s market. Okay, it’s even more relevant in today’s market because nobody’s doing it.

Okay, we want to build a brand. We want to build an audience aka our database, okay, and we want to make sure that this is a targeted audience well make sure that this is this. Are these are people who are the highest quality prospects that are going to buy and sell properties right, the kind of properties, the type of properties that we want to say? Okay, we’re going to focus on these people they’re unlimited, so you can grow and grow and grow and grow and grow forever.

Okay, as much work as you want to put in alright, doesn’t matter what the market does closings happen every day right. So we’re going to put in as much work as we possibly can to meet these people create these relationships, build our brand right and every time one of them wants to buy or sell, or has someone that they know that wants to buy or sell they’re going To come to you – and let me just say not: all of them will always come to you we’re going to lose some here and there no marketing strategy is going to collect every single deal right.

There’s no strategy out there! That’s going to this going to capture every single prospect for you and a hundred percent you’re going to get it alright, that’s why so many agents are successful, because not one agent can do all the business different personalities, different timings, so on and so forth, but what You want to do. Is you want a strategy? That’s going to put you in the best position possible right, give you the best percentage, all right chance that you are going to get that business and that’s what we want to do want to put ourself in the best position possible.

I think of it. As this all right, all the different prospects out there in your market or hats – okay, let’s pretend like their hats, all right and we’re going to put our name and as many hats as possible. Aka begin maintain, create relationships with these people, so we’re putting our name in so many hats right and there’s other agents names in those same hats right and when that person pulls the name out it may be yours.

It may not be right, but if you have your name in as many hats as you can possibly have right, you’re going to win a lot of those deals. So that’s what want to do want to put our name in as many hats as possible. So, let’s talk about the most efficient prospects. Let’s talk about our target audience. Okay, we got to build our audience. It’s just like here on this YouTube blog with building your subscriber base.

Okay, it’s the same exact thing. Alright, people that subscribe, they saw you. They saw your name, they read the article boom, they click subscribe. They know who you are now every article that you put out consistently. They start to get to know you more and more and more and more and before you know it, you have a brand built same thing with real estate. We want to talk to as many people as we can right to create relationships.

Okay, that’s them hitting that subscribe button, and then we want to hit them with content very consistently so that we can build that brand. So, who are the highest quality prospects who’s that audience want to go after it’s property owners that own the type of property we want to sell? Okay, if we want to sell property between three and six hundred thousand, then we’re going to talk to just property owners that owned property between three and six hundred thousand.

If we want eight hundred to a million we’re just going to talk to people on eight hundred to a million okay – and I think the secret is to find that sweet spot in your market, okay, the sweet spot is somewhere close to maybe a little higher than The average price point of your market, so it’s good to know what your average price point is in your market, so that you can kind of identify where the sweet spot is.

If the average price point your market, like my market, is three hundred and fifty thousand right now, okay, three 50 375 – is our average price point, so I stay in that 400 range. Okay, that’s kind of where I focus in is really anywhere from 300 to 500. It’s kind of where my sweet spot is, and that’s where I put a lot of focus and that’s where most of the deals are right and that’s a really good price point to be in because those commissions are really good.

If you can have a more frequent Commission right at a really good rate at a five hundred thousand, a three or four hundred thousand dollar, you know deal, then that’s really good than having just a few. At a million a few at two million right, I, like frequency, okay, I do eight to ten bills a month, and I want to do in that three to four hundred range, eight to ten deals a month. I don’t want to do one two million dollar deal a month.

I want to do eight to ten at five hundred thousand, so it’s really important to find that sweet spot in your market. Okay, once you’ve identified that we’re going to identify some subdivisions. Okay, some subdivisions that that are full of that price point of properties. Now what I like to do is go ahead and start sending them handwritten notes, postcard, stuff like that right, you can do that. You don’t have to do that, but I like to do that because it just it just adds another layer of what you’re doing and a little another layer of brand awareness right.

So you can do the direct mail. You don’t have to do the direct mail, but what you do have to do is you have to subscribe to red X, okay, red X, waves $ 150 startup fee for all my coaching members, okay, there’s a link in the description of this article. That’ll. Take you to red X, where they waive the one hundred fifty dollar startup fee, and you can just start okay get geo leads geo leads is only fifty dollars a month.

Okay, it gives you two thousand phone numbers per month and what you do is, is you put the address any of the addresses within that subdivision in red and red X right and then click search and it finds all the property owners in that subdivisions phone numbers? Now you can just get gles, that’s $ 50, but what I also suggest is to get their dialer, so you can just click another button. It just starts dialing them for you and you just sit on the phone and just start talking a property owner after pop down.

Here you can make so many calls so quickly. Okay, now this is called circle. Specking now circle. Prospect me is something that no agent is doing everybody’s calling expired. So when you call an expired, the expired saying, you’re, the tenth agent, that called me and they’re already in a bad mood, same thing with for sale by owners. Right agents are hounding them, but no one is circle prospecting.

These people are not getting hounded, they’re very open to talking to an agent. They want to know, what’s going on with the market and they’re very easy to talk to and to create a relationship with, and a lot of people say: oh well, that’s long term business Rick, any business right now, no there’s so much business. Now, within these subdivisions, people are thinking about buying or selling they’re thinking about selling and upgrading, there’s thinking about selling you’re relocating the thinking about buying investment properties, down the road they’re thinking about selling an investment property down the road there’s so much going on in the Circle prospecting world and you can’t call them all.

You cannot call every property owner. Your area is completely unlimited, so these are really easy. Calls to make I’m going to put a link in the description of me. Making live calls to to property owners. Circle prospecting all right, I’ll, put a couple of links in below this article, where I’m making live cost, so you can see how it’s done. Also. My scripts are right there in the coaching program, just go download them all free.

What we’re going to do is we’re going to say: hey mr. Johnson, hey, this is Ricky, Crewe the remix of orange beach, how you doing cool I’m enjoying the days and a gorgeous cool look. I don’t wan na take up too much of your time, but a house around the corner just sold, didn’t know. If there’s anything in the world, I could do for you. No we’ll look as they’re an agent. You would work with. If you were to do something know, will call look, I’m sure at some point in the future you’re going to do something right, sure, I’d love the opportunity to work with you and that day comes.

Would it be okay, if I stayed in touch with you cool? What’s your email address boom very natural I’ll, set it really fast right there for your benefit, but you’re going to slow it down you’re going to make it your own. It’s a real conversation. It really works again. Read the articles of me making calls and you’ll kind of get it down right and then get to work, create these relationships. These are the people that you want.

This is a target audience. This is the most efficient prospects that you could possibly have, and this is why I don’t want you to buy leads, because this is fifty dollars for two thousand phone numbers where we’re spending two or three hundred dollars for one lead that doesn’t even back. This is a way that you can create your own leads that are better leads that already own the properties for so cheap.

It’s almost free. Now. What I want you to do with that email is. I want you to start sending weekly emails on the same day of the week forever. I will also link a article below of my training of me, screenshotting, my computer, and doing my weekly email. That way, you can do your email exactly like me and I’ll even give you my template. Okay. So now we know what you need to circle prospect right. It’s unlimited! We can do it forever right, we’re going to use red X, we’re going to get their emails.

We’re going to help them do deals if that’s what they want to do now, but we’re not really worried if they want to do deals now. Our job is to filter through the entire population, to find the people that want to work with us and then we’re going to build our business around those people and we’re going to build our brand with this weekly email. Okay, because they’re going to get this consistently.

Every single week, on the same day of the week forever, I’ve been doing mine on Wednesdays every Wednesday since 2007. Right never missed a Wednesday, and it’s literally the reason why I sell so much property now. What I also want you to do is take those emails and create a custom audience in Facebook and run Facebook and Instagram ads to the same people that are getting your weekly email tour, now you’re, just adding another layer to your brand building strategy to those people That know you, like you, trust you and what I’ll do there is I’ll make a article in the future about how to create that custom, audience and kind of the types of ads that I run to those people.

So I hope this article helps you, simplify your life and understand that this real estate marketing strategy does not have to be so complicated. You don’t have to have so much going on. You’d have to spend a lot of money. You could spend very little money. You can be very effective, very efficient and get the job done and create the database that you want versus a database full of people that will probably never call you back or or never buy or sell.

Or what have you right? I would rather have a lower number in my database of a concentrated group of people who own the type of property I want to sell and have talked to me and gave me their information voiced. A voice voice of voice is the reason why technology has not and will not replace real estate age. It’s mark my words on that. If you guys want to go and start the 90 day action plan, what I’m doing is is when you complete the 90 day action plan.

I do a phone call with you, so when you get done with the 90 day action plan, email me we’ll set up a call so that I can talk to you about your specific situation and I’m going to promote you to what I call Jim and Jim’s. Get put into a separate Facebook group where I can now spend more time with you, because you show me that you’re willing to put the work in to get to the next level, and I respect that and I want to help those people.

So if this article helped you please hit that like button hit the subscribe button, let me know what the world I can do for you comment below and let me know what articles you want me to make I’ll see you on the next article: let’s go

Pimp your Dubsado Portal

Well, I wanted to share this article with you, because recently I shared some pictures around how I revamped and redesigned my tips Auto portal in order to make it easier for my clients to understand how to access the information I was sharing with them, as well as Make sure that it was consistent with the rest of my branding and I’m telling you I got an overwhelming response of people who were really interested in how I did this.

What’s really appreciative of the style and things like that that I implemented with my depth, Auto rebrand, I figured I would create a article that would help you understand my process and some of the tips and tricks that I learned in order to ensure that everything was Consistent and well branded this article will help you understand how to not only design your dips, auto portal banners also associated emails, that you can use to share with your clients on how to use the depth auto portal and sections and graphics that can be used throughout Additional forms that you may have throughout your depth saddle site.

So let’s get started and hope you learn a lot. So the first thing we’re going to talk about is the file that way I use to generate my graphics. So what I use in order to generate my graphics was Photoshop. Now a lot of you may not have access to Photoshop or you have access to Photoshop and are still may be intimidated by using Photoshop, because it is a industry standard for graphic design and photo manipulation.

So if you don’t have Photoshop or if you don’t want to use Photoshop, then certainly you can use something like canva. You can use adobe spark. You can do use any of the online and mostly free resources to generate your graphics. But it’s important to understand kind of the sizing that I use, and I know a lot of people were had a lot of questions around what size were the different items and most of the sizing I got from reading.

Some of the support articles end up Sado. As well as some of the articles and Facebook live sessions that depsite will put out, so the portal banner should be 1800 by 200, so I have that here. So this is the portal banner. The mobile banner should be 760 by 200. The hero image for any of your form should be 2,000 by nine-thirty, and then the section dividers can be 2,000 by 110. Now go into that a little bit later about the section dividers and how I use those now.

The first thing, I will say is what I’m showing you the example that I’m showing you is one of our dub Sado members reached out to me and asked me about recreating a rebranding heard of Sado, and so her name is Lauren and she’s, with captivating calligraphy. Beautiful work, beautiful branding, and so in order for me to do this so quickly and efficiently, she had to provide me a few things, one of them being her brand guideline.

Thank goodness, she had a really strong, clear, cohesive brand guideline for her, which included her logos. Her colors her typography, and with that information and a few pictures and textures that she shared with me, I was able to come up with the following designs, so once I changed, the overlay get the sides overlays off of this. This is what I came up with for captivating calligraphy. Now I’m going to be referring to some of my notes as you can see.

So if you see me looking away not because I’m not paying attention to you, it’s because I’m you know wanting to make sure that I don’t miss anything. So basically what we did was created a client portal banner. This banner is going to go right at the top of the portal so that people know where they are so. It says welcome to your client portal and has her branding and some of the graphics that she shared with me as well as some of the graphics that I obtained from her social media or Instagram blogs.

Now they provide. They tell you to create a portal banner as well as a mobile banner. Now, one of the things that I will say about the portal banner versus the mobile banner is don’t try to squish every single thing in the portal banner for the desktop into your mobile banner. It should be a good kind of modification of it, but still consistent with your branding. So, as you can see you know, the picture of her is not on there, but you you try to make sure that you’re putting the most important most representative images in your mobile banner from a party standpoint versus trying to really fit everything from the desktop banner Into the mobile one, because you have clearly a lot less space, so then what you will do is also create a header or a hero image for your portal guideline, and so, when you’re sharing with your clients, hey you have this client portal.

You can access it anywhere, here’s the way to access it. Then you have this beautiful image up top so that it welcomes and invites your clients in and they understand they hate, you’re, very professional, very top-notch, and things are consistent with your branding. I also developed section dividers so that, as the different sections of your Deb Sato, information in your guideline are talked about.

There’s clear separation of them using these images and again consistent with her brand colors, her logos, her fonts and things like that. I was able to develop the dividers so that we can really separate the information out much more clearly. Also, you may wonder why the content and the imagery is only filling half of this available space and the rest of it. When you see these checker marks, that means it’s transparent, because when you import images into DEP Sado, it will default to filling the available space, a hundred percent.

So if I were to make this particular divider shorter, just to fit the content, when I imported it into DEP Sado, it would stretch it. It wouldn’t necessarily stretch it, but it would make it bigger, wouldn’t distorted, but it would stretch it to fill the 100 % width of the space and I would have to manually, go in and adjust the percentage that it took up and it may Center it and Things like that, which may not be things that are really intended, so I made sure that the size of the portal section dividers was 2,000, so it’s consistent with the size of the hero image.

Now you’ll see a lot better. What I’m talking about in this piece of it when we actually start filling out her client portal guide and we’ll be getting into that very soon? But basically, what you have are what I use is artboards. I use artboards very extensively because you can create different artboards of different sizes and one document and not have to worry about. You know creating completely different documents because you’re using different sizes, and so once I’ve created all of my images at the correct size.

All I have to do is go to file export artboards to files and then browse to the right folder that I want to put everything in you can export selected artboard, but if you want to just export everything you can uncheck this export. The artboard content only make sure it’s PNG if you were going to use something that went all the way across and was completely filled and there was no transparent pixels that you wanted to keep in the document.

Then you could use jpg and that would reduce the size of the file significantly because JPEGs are compressed files. But if you wanted to make sure that you have the transparency you’re going to have to do PNG so once all of these selections are made. Also, the prefix, you can add a prefix, you can just create something that says dubs and what will happen is when these files are exported. Your file name will be dubs, underscore portal banner dubs underscore mobile banner and that’s how it will be exported into whatever file folder that you wanted to use as your destination.

So that’s basically it you would hit and-run and then you would have all the files. You need to start updating your website or portal and associated forms. So now, let’s mosey on over to Deb silo where we can make the adjustments to the portal associated with the design we’ve just made. Now, when you first log into the dub sava, your dashboard may look a little different than this, but that depends on how you customize your account where we’re going to go.

First, is the gear icon for settings? If we’re going to go to Puerto and as you can see when I first logged in all of these, things were set up like this, and what I’ve done is made sure that I click hide. The welcome message, as well as hi logo and your portals, because the design that I created already has the logo and already has a welcome message embedded in it. So then, are you going to do I’m going to exit out of these from now and show you exactly what you need to do so for the portal banner here you have the general banner for desktop upload and we’re going to get the portal banner image.

You see that is 1800 by 200, which is recommended hit, choose then you’re going to get the mobile device banner. You choose that one okay. So then we have both the portal banner for desktop and for mobile here and we’ve hidden the welcome message and the logo. I’r going to go ahead and grab this link for the portal and hit save now what I also did to make sure that I can take a look at the portal banner in context before I send this to my clients, is I set up a test account Inside my projects and make sure that I could just log in with my email address, and so with this link, you can come over here and paste that link here and it’ll show your portal login before I actually put in my email address.

I’r going to go ahead and take a screenshot of this image and I’ll show you why, in a few minutes, okay, so that screenshot is available all right now, I’m going to put in my email address, I didn’t put a password associated with this test account. So I’m just going to hit login, and now you see portable banner is sits very nicely up here. Does it have an overlay of any welcome messages or additional logos, and you can see very clearly where everything is now, while I’m here, I’m also going to take a few more screenshots, because these screenshots are going to be useful when you’re developing your client portal guide.

So I’m going to take a screenshot of this homepage and of the documents page you emails page and the profile page. Okay. So again these are going to be useful a little bit later. So let’s go back to Deb Saito and now we have this information in the portal and people will once they come to their portal, will see that that new, updated graphics now we’re going to actually look into updating the client portal guide.

So you see, if there’s no client portal guy set up yet, but if you want to set one up and don’t want to have to do it from scratch, you can go to the template library and see that they have a client portal guide there as well. Now you see a laundry list of templates very helpful. I’ve looked through, several of them might be using more of these, and all you have to do is kind of filter it by quest questionnaire to make the list a little bit smaller and go all the way down to the bottom and you’ll see the client portal Guide here go ahead and preview it so that you can see kind of what you’re working with you see.

This big image is probably going to be appropriate for the larger image that we created in Photoshop, and here is where I wanted to bring your attention to the screenshots that we made. So currently. If you use the client portal guide as a template, as is it will have their branding in it, it’ll have kind of the way that their portal looks. If you want it to use your portals design, then you, those screenshots that we just took, will come in handy.

You can use some of their images and things like that. But generally I’m using my own images, you see here they have kind of like a article as well, and this is really just a gif animated gif that they incorporate it. You don’t have to do this. I did not use this animated gif for mine at all, but if you are going to, if you meet some guidance or to provide some guidance to your clients on how to upload things into the file uploader, then that’s exactly what you can use, but yeah everything Else here is pretty straightforward: alright, so then what you’re going to do is hit copy to account and that’s it.

You’ve got the client portal guide and then you got ta start adjusting this client portal guy to fit your needs. The text that is in bold is usually notes for you, the designer or the entrepreneur, to give guidance on how these sections can be used and very helpful. But what you definitely want to do is delete them before you actually send this to other people. So I am, I’ve read through this, make sure you read through it and get the information you need, but I just generally delete any of these because I’m not going to be providing that information to my clients.

I’ve got the home page, and so you see where it says, portal login here we’re going to delete that and we’re going to delete a lot of the headings. The first thing you’re going to want to do is actually take this image and you’re going to click on it and you’re going to actually upload all of these images from what we created into your image gallery. So we’re going to need this one. You know to need all of these where the section headers, okay and I believe, that’s it.

We took a picture of the portal login, the branded portal login. So I’m going to move that on over okay and I think that should be it from what we exported from what we export it from Photoshop, okay. So the first thing you’re going to make is this welcome guide? First, you got hit upload. All all of those are uploaded. You can go ahead and replace that hero image, the bearer image with the one that we create clothes, looks very nice.

Okay, I’m not going to be adjusting any of her copywriting. She will be doing that a little bit later, but what I will do is start adjusting the section headers and some of the screen shots. So this is the start of a new section and I am going to actually add an image block here. Click this and because this next section is just talking about the portal login. I want the portal login section here, so you kind of have to click through them, because it’s hard to see now before I put this in there actually I’ll show you what it looks like you see.

It fits very nicely in this space for the portal login. This is halfway across exactly what we wanted now, if I would have used what I mentioned before is making the size of the section headers without that extra transparent space. If I would have done that, I’m going to show you what it would look like. So when I created the portal login – and I just made it the size of the actual image – you see how large it is, it fits a hundred percent by default of the available space.

And if you don’t want that section header to be that big, you would have to adjust the width here to maybe take it down to 50 percent and then align it to the right in order for it to show up the way that you want it. Okay, but to avoid those extra clicks in those extra steps, I just created the portal login and any of the section headers with the empty, transparent space as part of the image, so that it’s actually sized the exact way that I want it to be sized and Then it fits perfectly where it needs to go.

I’r going to go ahead and change this to the branded one right. When I look at it, I still feel like it’s a little large for the space, so I’m going to go back into the image and maybe make it 80 % of the lid. I, like it being centered, that’s fine, and by default it is centered, and so now it looks like this. So again, the screenshots of the areas where you may screen shots in the portal would be added in these remaining spaces.

So we’ll just go to where my screenshots, our homepage, we’re going to do is click here. We’re going to drop all of these images in upload them all and we’re going to select this one to be the next one close. So this reflects what the client portal would look like once they logged in all right. This still seems a little bit big, I’m going to take this down to 60 % all right. I like that better all right there.

So again, you would continue on replacing images with images from your portal making sure that if you want to detail something, that’s in the Documents folder that there’s content in there too to detail. If you wanted to keep this again deleting any of the bolded text that are notes for you personally and adjusting everything like that, so that’s it! I’r not going to go through and do everything else, but you get the point which is replacing the images with your images is going to make your client portal guide.

Look very professional and brand it to you now. Once you have everything uploaded all the pictures and the screenshots that you need uploaded, we’re going to assume that I’ve done that. What I found is that I liked that when someone came to the client portal and was on the home page, but when they came to the home page, I like for the client portal guy to be one of the first things they saw now. Here’s a couple of things that I’ve noticed about deaf side.

1. If you do not have a field on a form, then once you act that form to a client’s job, then it will automatically be completed. It will automatically be a completed form because there’s nothing for them to fill out, nothing for them to do so. It would not appear on the Home tab, it would only appear in the documents, tab and it would be complete. I felt like that was a little bit confusing, because people are looking at these documents as if they need to do something or they don’t need to do something and if there’s a form somewhere in their portal that says incomplete, then they’re more likely to actually open It up read it and do something with it and if it says complete, then they’re probably not going to do anything.

So I make sure that I added a field here at the bottom, and I said I have read and understood the information provided yes or no. You can even make this a required field if you want to um, but you know, or you can leave it unrequired, but basically this allows that question to be asked and if that field is available, then there’s going to be a submit button and that’s my submit Button on my personal, dub, Sato account says I’ve read this.

You know something you know more of a call to action. Yes, I’ve read this or if you even want to do something as as far as if you select no, then I have additional questions all right, and so then they can say. Okay, I didn’t quite understand this. I didn’t quite understand that or my login is not working, etcetera whatever, but they will see that they can provide additional feedback on the client portal form if you want them to put that as a response in that field, I don’t have this online.

I just have the yes or no, and that allows the button for submission to show up, because otherwise it won’t and then it’ll be an incomplete form. That’s shown directly on the home page that they will be prompted to do something with, and they all have to go into the documents page in order to see it. Okay, so that takes care of developing your client portal form your client portal guide and your portal.

Graphics, all right, so that’s it! Now that you have your client portal guy created, then you can actually set up a page on your website for your clients to log into what you’ll need in order to start. This is the embed code from your client portal settings. So let me save this document, we’re actually saving clothes all right and then we’re going to go back to the settings we’re going to go to the portal and what you’re going to use is your embed code.

Now this embed code is very important. Most web hosting providers, whether you’re using Squarespace, Wix WordPress, I personally use WordPress, will allow some sort of space for you to add specialized code into your site so that this will show up. So, for example, if you go to captivating calligraphies page, this is her home page and you see in her menu there’s a client portal. When you click on that.

You see at her client portal log, okay and we’ve already got the image of the actual log in with her branding on it. So, armed with those two things, what you’re going to go do is go back to the up side, oh and you’re, going to go back to templates, we’re going to go to canned emails right and then what you’re going to do a new canned response. In the end, bro say: okay and then the subject is, if I use the same or you can call this client portal well phone a little bit shorter, and so here you’re going to say hello, client, name.

Cuz we’ve got smart fields, we don’t have to type everyone’s name out, hello. You may say hello. First name, you can put whatever content you want in here. I’r just going to type some sample text. But again you would create the email that you would want. Your clients to see you you and what you’re going to do is add a linked all right and you, as you know, when you have links form Ling’s, then there will be a color-coded button that they can use, and then you can also say you can also Log in to your portal, using the say from my website as indicated below all right, then you can take the image drop.

This image. Okay, you’re, definitely going to make it bigger right so that people can see it. You have questions. So, of course you would. You know copyright this in a way, that’s more engaging to your clientele more than I did and I’ll do some more work on hers as well. So don’t think that she’s going to be left with this text, but basically, what you’re going to do is say that so now you have a wonderful email with an image on how to log into your client portal and what people will find once they log in You also want to do this if you are setting up passwords and their password protected for the for the portal, you want to make sure that you add the password here.

So the link to the portal is one thing, but you also want to add. The link to the past are the information for the password to access so the portal password. So that’s it. That’s the template for your canned email. Well, I hope you enjoy spending this time with me going through how to update your client portal. I know it seemed like a long process, but hopefully it’s pretty clear of many of the tips and tricks that I use to make sure that my client portal and associated documents looked great.

my blogging journey: what I’ve learned so far + advice for beginners || alyssa marie

Today’s article is going to be a little bit different. I always get so many questions about blogging and it stops like how I got started any advice for someone who wants to start, etc, etc. So I figured why not jump on here and do a whole article just going through my entire blogging journey from the beginning.

All the way up until now, so let’s just jump straight on in when I first started blogging. I think that was all the way back in like 2016, I want to say it’s like middle 2016 and I don’t know I was like probably most of you reading now who was just makeup obsessed and also just loved, to read articles on YouTube and just into That kind of thing – and I also really really from the beginning – I always make sure to only use cruelty free stuff.

But I also started to get really really interested into product ingredients and only using brands that have less toxic ingredients in it. And that kind of thing so initially when I started vlogging, I just started on Instagram, I’m pretty much transitioned from my personal page at like a thousand followers and I just kind of turned it into a blogging page slowly so yeah that was just strictly on Instagram.

At that point, I hadn’t, how do you tube blog and I like it, wasn’t really in my mind to have one. That’s a lie I feel like it was in my mind, but I was still kind of like, like I don’t know. If I can do all of that, so it was kind of just on the back burner for that time it wasn’t until I think, chopped in 2017, so that was December 2017. When I was like you know what I want to document this process, so I article myself and carp right before my big chop.

I set up my little camera at the salon, a article that entire whole big chop situation and ended up posting it on my Instagram and I feel like. I got a lot of interest in this article and I feel like that’s when I kind of was like wow people are really saying. This is a big deal. People really want to know about this and see this journey, and so that’s when I decided that I kind of wanted to not completely let go of makeup.

Kids, honestly, that’s still like my passion and so obsessive makeup still product drunky, that’s me, but I realized that I also had something very special and unique when it came to my natural hair journey and it was just something that everyone was interested in. I got lots of questions all the time, so I was like you know what I’m going to keep on going with this. I’r going to keep people updated with my journey and kind of put more focus on that and less of a focus on makeup.

Just simply because that’s what I found people were interested in, it wasn’t until like February 2018, when I actually got it together and started my youtube blog with my first article ever it was like when I look back on it, I’m like oh cringe. It was just like a really short and sweet one-minute article, just saying hey guys, like it’s me like a little intro to my entire youtube blog and then I just did a whole bunch of little hair, tutorials, etc, etc.

So that’s pretty much how I got started when I first started. I obviously was not making any money off it. To be honest, like making money, wasn’t really in my mind, I wasn’t like going into it like. Oh, maybe I can make some extra money. Let these bloggers or rich online I feel like, if that’s your intention, blogging, probably isn’t for you, because this is really not like a get-rich-quick scheme kind of thing like it’s really not.

I really just went into it with my passion for these things and it kind of paid off. I guess so I didn’t start getting paid for a while, like it was a while. My first post was maybe like a $ 50 thing on Instagram. It really wasn’t until I started to gain a lot of traction on instagrams when I was like, like, I really need to figure out how these bloggers do get paid. It did a lot of research online like a lot when on YouTube.

When I Google read articles – and I just kind of scoured the internet to find out like how could I get paid because it’s so much work, it is so much work and so much of your time and effort that goes into it mind you to me it Was fun in a way because it was literally, like I said, she’s just my passion like I was happy to share these things, but just producing content in general. A lot of people don’t understand, like all of the things that are behind creating a piece of content.

Even just a photo, a lot of people think like selfie, easy done, but there’s planning that goes into it. I plan ahead for a week usually know what I’m going to post when I’m being good, not always like. Not always. I still have a 95 job right now currently, so it is really really hard for me to kind of juggle everything, but I try and stay as organized as possible. Applying content out people just don’t understand like how much work goes into this, but anyways back to when I first started making money.

I learned that what bloggers pretty much do is just charge on a per post basis. So what I did was I went on this website that I found called canva com. It’s actually a really great tool. If you like, digital, creating and stuff, you can create, like Instagram, post little things like it’s just a free tool that you can use online to create graphics. Pretty much so I went on canva and I created a little media sheets and the cute little media shake, and I listed out like Instagram photo for X amount of Instagram article for X amount YouTube article for XML.

The main reason why this media she was so important was that, when brands started to reach out to me, then I could just supply this them and say hey. These are my grapes. Let me know if this works boom BAM so yeah. That is pretty much still. How it works for me currently, except I like to target Browns myself as well. I feel, like people think that Browns are just reaching out to bloggers directly and boom done, but bloggers actually do a lot of work to actually target Browns themselves and reach out to them themselves and say hey.

This is what I’m capable of this is what I can offer for you are you willing to collaborate with me? That’s kind of how, like the whole Brown partnership works for me personally, I really wanted my pages, both on Instagram and YouTube, to be very, very authentic. To me, I just wanted it to stay genuine. I didn’t want it to feel commercially like I was always trying to sell stuff like I really really wanted to stay away from all of that.

So my main goal, when I transitioned into becoming more of a hair blogger, was to just encourage women from across the globe to love and embrace their natural curls. Just the way that I did because I felt like the day of I felt such a transformation and such a light inside of me, it was just I don’t know. It was life-changing for me, and I wanted to be able to encourage other people to do that and to experience that for themselves as well like to this day.

That’s really what keeps me going. That’s really my purpose and my goal for my blogs. It’s for people to just love and embrace their natural selves, so yeah without being my main goal, I always was very picky like even from the very beginning. I was very, very picky with which brands that I would work with. So, for me, when it comes to a brand and the type of brands that I work with, they one need to be 100 % cruelty, free, that’s something that I’ve stuck with from day.

One number two: it needs to be relevant to my brand and what I feel so that’s pretty much my story. I also wrote down. I have a few little pieces of advice in case you are thinking about vlogging or, if you’re trying to vlog, but you feel like it’s not going anywhere. I have a few pieces of advice from over the past few years, things that I’ve learned and things that I wish that I could tell myself when I first started.

Okay, so first piece of advice – I kind of went over this a little bit, but it’s like not bad at all. To reiterate this: do not get into blogging for the money people will be able to see through that, if you’re, not in it with your passion, if you’re not putting yourself like fully into this people will be able to see through that, and you won’t be successful. Also bond was a lot of work and especially in the beginning, you do a lot like a lot of a lot of content creating for free, that’s just the nature of the business.

You have to start somewhere build yourself up and once your followers start to grow, you can then use that to leverage payment. My second piece of advice is to visualize it. This is for somebody who’s, just starting out or even hasn’t started yet, but it’s just been in the back of your mind and you’re, really considering like how to do it, you need to visualize, like the big picture of what you’re trying to achieve.

You have to have a purpose behind it, and then you also need to visualize what it’s going to look like. Are you just going to do Instagram articles and stick to Instagram? Are you going to do YouTube? We’re going to do both? Are you going to write a blog? Are you going to have a website? You know visualize your endgame goal of like what you want, everything to look like look at your favorite bloggers on YouTube and Instagram and make notes of what you think makes them stand out and things that you like about them things you don’t like about them.

Just make note of everything know what kind of vibe you’re trying to bring across. Is it more like a sexy and boom, I’m the shit kind of thing, or is it more like a bubbly and warm, I would say like tiny, more bubbly, fun and goofy it’ll. Just make it a lot easier for you and you’ll have a better idea of what exactly you need to do in order to achieve it. My next piece of advice is to start and to start small, so, firstly, is to start like I waited so long before.

I started my youtube blog. I stalled myself because I was so I just made myself super overwhelmed and I gave myself every single reason why I couldn’t start yet. You know like oh, I need a nicer camera and I need better lighting and I can’t afford that. Yeah and buh-buh-buh-buh there’s always going to be a hundred reasons. Why you can’t start you need to find the one reason why you can and just start so starting in itself is like a major step and just know that starting small is the whole point of growth.

As you go through the process, every time you film and every time you edit, you learn different things. You learn how to articulate yourself better. You learn, oh like I need to stop saying um. Ah, whatever, like you literally learn as you go, so it’s important to get started as soon as possible, so you can hurry up, learn everything you can possibly learn and then continue to perfect your craft, just as you go.

Another piece of advice is to find your niche and just stick to it, so you’ll be able to find your niche. If you listen, it’s your audience. So, for example, in my journey, like I said, I started with makeup very makeup heavy and once I started going natural, I realized that that’s really what people were interested in what they wanted to see what they had questions about. So I was like you know what let me place a bigger focus on here and just do makeup here and there kind of thing you know so for me, my natural hair peeps, that’s my niche and when you’re creating content, you want to create content with that Niche in mind, so I’m creating my content in mind of a person who is going through a natural hair journey who is thinking about big shopping and that helps you to create content.

That is going to be useful for people when you’re creating useful content. That is when you are going to grow all right and then, once you have your niche, you got a post and you’ve got a post consistently. So that’s my next piece of advice is consistency. It is so important that I show up all the time they’re going to know Alyssa post articles on YouTube every Sunday, every Sunday they’re going to log on and wait for that article.

If you are haphazardly producing content here and there, people are going to forget about you honestly, like so many bloggers and so many different things to see online nowadays, you want to be in people’s face constantly all the time. It’s super super important to be consistent and then, as you’re going through your whole blogging career, it’s really really important to continue to set goals for yourself.

That’s one thing that I actually learned recently is something as simple, as that was just like a huge ignite and a difference for me in terms of the type of content I’m creating like in terms of everything really like setting goals is so important. But for me I have a set list of brands that I have, as my target brands brands, that I would love to collaborate with by just listing out those brands and just like having that in the back of my mind, saying: okay, this is my target that Helps me to gear my content towards that, and that way I’ll be able to position myself for an opportunity to work with that brand.

You need to have your goals like they need to be clear, set goals so that you know exactly like what you’re working towards and how to get there, because if there’s no destination like you’re, just kind of like in here doing nothing. So you need to have goals, set them, write them down. I actually have a really really great. I guess it’s an app and it’s also a website called Trello. That is where I have my little vision board.

My whole social media life is like plunder on trouble. So I have a board for my content planning any content ideas I have for like YouTube. Instagram I listed out all in there. I have a board for my vision board. So that’s where I set all my goals, target brands, etc. I have a board for like a to-do list. It’s just a really amazing tool, so check it out I’ll, also link it below alright and then my last piece of advice is something you may have gathered already from this entire long drama.

Article is that this is a journey, just as any kind of career path is like a path. It’s a journey, something you’ve got to work towards continuously blogging is the same way, so it’s very very easy to look online in see other bloggers who have already made it and think like. Oh, I can do that. That’s easy, like I’m cute, I can take cute selfies too, like it’s fine, it’s a really long journey and it’s hard there’s a lot that goes into content, creating it’s definitely one of those things where what you put into it.

It’s definitely what you’ll get out of it. There is no way that you’re going to work your ass off, producing amazing content and not get noticed if you are putting in your work. It’ll happen it’ll happen in its time. It’s really important to not look at other people and say: oh she’s, growing faster than me. I definitely definitely was guilty of that in the beginning and I would get on myself and there would be a lot of self-doubt and a lot of Tears and me wanting to give up all the time and honestly that still happens today.

But you just have to know that everything happens in its time and if you are putting in the work you will get the reward. You will just it’s just a matter of you just keep on going and that’s it you you got this. You you reading right now you got this and you can do this boom. What Is The Difference Between A Domain Name And A Website? | GoDaddy

They are two very different things. After registering a domain, you need to do something with it put it to work for you, Your domain can be used for a website for an email account or for both. You can, however, register a domain and choose NOT to use it for a website or an email account, BUT you can’t have a website or an email account without a domain When used for a website.

Your domain name is what people type into their browser to find. Your site — this is why they are sometimes referred to as web addresses. So godaddy.Com is the domain used for GoDaddy’s website. Registering a domain, however, doesn’t automatically create a website — it only means that you’ve registered the domain. So, for example, if you decided to start your own business and you thought of great name for it, you might copyright the name to protect it.

However, simply giving your business a name is only one of many steps that go into building your business In the same manner when you register a domain and want to use it for a website. You’ll need to first build the website and then find a host for it, so it can be visible on the Web. What’s a host Website hosts are companies that house serve and maintain files for one or more websites. Think of a website hosting company like a shopping center that contains several individual stores.

If you want to open a store at the shopping center, you can lease space and set up shop Just like a shopping center website. Hosting companies enable you to lease space on their web servers where you can store your website files and make them available for visitors to view Because you’ve registered your domain, you can use it at any web hosting company. You want Remember your store in the shopping center.

Suppose you decided to move your store and lease space at a different shopping center. If you packed up your products and moved to a new location, you would still be able to use the same name for your store. The same is true for your domain — regardless of where you decided to host your website’s files. Your domain remains yours for the duration of your registration. Godaddy is both a domain registrar AND a website hosting company — and we have the tools to help.

You build your website. This means you can register your domain name, build a website for it and get it on the web — all in one place, Do you already have a domain name? Don’t just let it sit there do something with it.

How To Make $100 Per Day YOUTUBE Affiliate Marketing

We won Doddie Doddie. What’s going on family, regardless to your CEO Bulls, Academy, calm, D, wolf of marketing and in this article we’re going to be showing you how to make $ 100 per day on YouTube. Now, if there’s anyone who can go ahead and show you guys how to make money on YouTube, it’s your boy right here, right literally YouTube has paid for this bodily Villa.

It is paid for my lifestyle over the course of the last two years, and it has allowed me to make my first six figures online right. First and foremost, what we’re going to do is we’re going to step on laptop before we do that. I need you to go ahead and smash that subscribe button and hit that notifications bell to be notified every time he drops the movie. So, let’s step behind laptop somewhere behind the laptop, so guys, basically 29,000 subscribers.

How do we actually monetize those subscribers right? So basically, it says how to make $ 100 per day on Instagram, because that’s what I taught yesterday, but today we’re teaching how to make $ 100 a day on YouTube right. So the first thing is, you want to go ahead and actually find an affiliate product – and I didn’t say out of the garden dollars a day on YouTube, but a hundred dollars a day on YouTube with affiliate marketing.

Now you guys can do this with any affiliate marketing product that you’re currently promoting. But if you guys want to know my recommended affiliate products right, there will be in the description there will be recommended affiliate products and in the description you’re going to go to get three of my today program. So the first one’s going to be great photos are made twenty two thousand dollars into Madison affiliates with easy one up.

I made fifty five thousand dollars with the Madison affiliate with legendary marketer. I made twenty three point. Basically, twenty four thousand dollars with them as in today, so these affiliate programs total I’ve made over a hundred thousand dollars with each affiliate program. Now the first step that you’re going to want to do is identify which one is the best one for you guys. So let me go ahead and actually break down which one which one these alright so click one is a free affiliate program, but it’s a low ticket.

But you can’t get recurring income easy. One up pays out a hundred percent commissions, which is my favorite, because they passed the most right and you can generate a thousand and two thousand dollar sell about a hundred percent commissions. The only thing is that you actually have to go in and close. The leaves yourself, so you literally have to do only to get the phone show them. What the how the product can help these people and then convert those people into sell.

Legendary marketer, on the other hand, is basically you get paid 40 percent Commission’s instead of 100 percent commissions. However, you’re going to go ahead and actually get 40 percent commissions, but somebody else is going to go to close the cells for you, so you just got to generate the leaves and people are going to go in and close the actual high ticket sells for you. So as far as getting access to these affiliate programs, you guys can actually click on links and recommend it so their programs.

Now, if you guys, want to close those for yourself and earn 100 percent commissions at a thousand, two thousand dollars simply go to vertex wolf. Dot-Com right and then once you guys, go to vertex wolf coms going to go and actually allow you it’s going to go to this page right here and it’s going to go ahead and allow you to create an account with 100x ROI, which is basically the sells Article that I use for easy one up and then it’s going to go to take you to these pages right.

So it’s going to go and ask you to sign up as in this today and I’m going to be your sponsor and the reason why you want to go and sign up through my affiliate link is because you want to be on my team. So I can go and give the promotional materials that I used to make six figures online. Then um you’re going to go to get access to this and again I would recommend going all-in guys, vertex pervert six, five thousand two thousand dollars so for those people do go ahead and actually go in two thousand and two thousand dollar level.

I’r actually going to go and give you guys access to my affiliate marketing course: wolves, masterclass or a place that thousand, of course absolutely free next, if you guys want to go in and get access to legendary marketer right, if you don’t want to close those yourself, I get it no harm, no foul, not everybody’s, like the wolf of marketing to where they want to hop on the phone and close those.

I get a kick out of that type of stuff. If you just want to go in and sit back relax, let somebody else do the closing and you’re willing to pay them that extra sixty percent – you just take 40 percent of the pie cool you guys can go to marketer right marketer, like legendary marketers, wolf, comm, Marketer will calm and it’s going to go to allow you to sign up as an affiliate join. My team and I’ll also give you the emotional materials now for those people who actually invest until the twenty five hundred dollar level I’ll be willing to go ahead and actually give you guys axe to my course as well right.

So so they’re going to be paying like this you’re going to go to press, get started and then cool boom, so vertex will calm or marketer will calm sign up as an affiliate once you guys have an affiliate program that you guys can promote now, if you’re Already, promoting something as an affiliate, then you guys can go ahead and do exactly what I’m about to teach you guys in this article to promote your affiliate programs.

But if you guys don’t have one. Those are ones that I’ve made six figures with. So I thought I’d go ahead and show you guys how to do it make sure you guys use my affiliate link so that way I can go ahead and give them the tools to be successful now, step number two: is you want to go ahead and actually Create product congruent content now? What does that mean? What that means is basically just help people solve the desired problems, so you want to go to the reverse engineer right.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zvcX1RVqn4I

The content, so whatever the product is, for example, easy one up right, easy one up is a product that teaches people how to make money online. The legendary marketer is a product that seems to people how to make money online. So if you guys notice right, if I go to my youtube blog right all the time, I’m teaching people how to make one in line now, literally five hours ago, I created a article with the three best affiliate programs.

So what did I do? I basically created the three best affiliate programs – I’ve. Basically, he talks about easy when up there’s an ad marketing a cliff funnel and then what I did was I reefer these people to my affiliate links right. So I’m practicing what I preach next is right: making a thousand dollars a day how to make this $ 99. Paydays earn thirty five dollars per day, how to make nine hundred dollars per day so guys, I’m basically just creating content teaching people how to make money online.

Now, if you guys don’t know where to start as far as the type of content to make, then what I would recommend is typing in the keyword: how to make money online right or whatever your product solved right keywords that people would search for we’re trying to Solve that problem, and then, if you notice you’re literally three ways to make money online, even if you’re broke, I can go ahead and literally read this article, wipe the title and then make similar content and use the same constant, similar thumbnail and basically use that to Redirect traffic to my up-to-date offers, I can create one little similar thumbnail and earn 300 dollars per day by typing names on.

Oh God. This is make money online content. If you really now, let me be transferred with you guys if you guys make money, make money online content. This is going to go ahead and get people to take action on your offers, but it’s still not as congruent as the product yourself, because your product specifically for the ones that I’m telling you to promote it’s going to go in and teach you specifically how to Make money online with affiliate marketing, so you’ll make you’ll get a higher conversion rate if you teach people for their marketing content, just I’ll teach you guys affiliate marketing, content, affiliate marketing content and promote an affiliate marketing product, because if I’m saying about creative, a YouTube articles, Saying how to make money with e-commerce and then selling? I just taught you this method, but I’m telling you to buy this product.

That’s going to teach you a completely different method. Then it’s not going to be as congruent. So I would recommend, if you guys, want to right go ahead and actually start teaching people the actual skills that the products going to go on and teach these people right. But here’s an example guys literally just look up the keyword that people would be searching for and your model people’s constant.

I do it all the time you model this thumbnail, so just to give you guys an example right I’ll, go ahead and put affiliate programs, and if we look here the seven best affiliate programs, we have audio productions 158,000. You six months ago, now guys I planned on already making this content before I before I got ideas, but what I decided to do was I created the concept first, but I dropped this article a couple days ago, depending on when you’re actually reading this, but I Created the constant first so guys I did not read this article right.

I simply just saw a winning thumbnail and a winning title. So what I did was I mimics the title. It says these bet the seven best affiliate marketing programs for beginners 2019. So I said the three best, because I was just talking about the three that I’m promoting as honestly, I didn’t even read this article. I just saw okay, what is the most successful article around the specific keyword, so the keyword that Oxana rank for was affiliate program.

So I typed in affiliate programs. I found his article, so I just modeled the thumbnail right look: bracelet Donnell, the seven thousand today programs mine, says the three best of the new programs is how the orange background mine has a yellow background. I know from marketing experience that yellow captures people eyes. I could have even used red because it’ll probably captures people’s ideas or more and then I might just mimic the title I made me title boom.

So if it’s proven to be successful model, successful people so guys, if you guys looked here, basically step number three redirect your affiliate products so have a strong call to action at the end of your articles. So, as stated before guys, legendary marketer right easy one up. Click funnels were basically of the product, the affiliate product that I was promoting. So if you look at my description here, what are the free affiliate programs that I have right? I have my affiliate links to these three things.

So literally, click follows affiliate program, easy one-up, affiliate program, there’s no, your marketer for this program. So these people click these links. What’s going to happen, is people are going to go out and actually sign up as an affiliate, I’m going to go and get paid enough for the Commission, so it’s just going to go to an add-on to that income that I’m already making as an affiliate with That being said, all you have to do.

This is a simple three-step process right, find an affiliate product create products that are congruent with create products that are congruent with the actual product that you’re solving. So, for example, if I was promoting quick funnels as an affiliate, I’m not going to be teaching people how to make money online, I’m going to be teaching people how to build sales, funnel I’m going to be teaching chiropractors how to build up photos real estate agent, Not are you selling them, I’m just going to be teaching anything funnels related and then what I’m going to do right the process, the problem that my product solves I’m going to create that type of content solving that solution, and then I’m going to go to actually Recommend the affiliate product so with that being said, um then here is an example right, the three of three programs, and actually you have my call to action and that’s it.

This is how you do it guys. You literally have the article and create value and, at the end of the article you’re going to go ahead and have a strong call to action, saying if you want to learn more about building funnels, go ahead and click. The link in my description grab access to a free trial for cliff limits or, if you want to go and learn more about making one outline, click the link in the description and figure out my number one recommended affiliate program or whatever that looks like guys.

So, basically find a product to promote right start, creating content, the problem that is solved and I have a strong call to action at the end and again, if you guys don’t know what what products to create literally going to model success. Vine, the stuff that ranked number one within that keyword that you’re trying to rank for it and use similar thumbnails use. Similar titles – don’t steal it. You notice, I did three instead of seven, don’t fill it and then go ahead and give people value, give your audience value and go ahead and redirect them to your affiliate offers.

Now. One thing I want to, let you guys know guys just does not get rich. Quick, this isn’t free cannot make a article today and I have to get rich today. This is slow and steady wins the race, but if you’re an entrepreneur you should be doing long-term thinking, anything you should be doing should be investing into the long-term guys. So I’m literally creating constant today to make money way down the line, guys that’s how it works.

If one of your articles go viral, then over time it starts to get cash traction that’d, be a whole bunch of traffic to your affiliate offers again make a whole bunch of money right. So you guys want to go ahead and actually learn more about it. For the market, you guys want to learn more methods than just what I taught you and you guys want me to go ahead and teach you guys how to build sales funnels.

You guys want me to teach you guys how to drive traffic other traffic methods and what offers to pick so on and so forth. Simply go to the first link in my description or depending on where you’re reading sister will be a link or a button down below click that link and grab actions, a free training that will go and teach you guys how to do the step by step. 4 Ways to Measure Social Media ROI

Also this, I think, determination in small Businesses that they’re like “ There is no way to do this.”, So they love to hear about Roi return on investment. You get asked this too right Right. They end up spending so Much of their time on there, they wan na make sure they’re actually getting something back, Which I totally get right. You’re time is super valuable, you’re doing a million other things and then now social media Is added to your plate? How do you justify the time or the money if you outsource it like GoDaddy Social, You wan na justify that time and money and a way to do that is understand.

Are you getting a return on investment And the good news is there’s a lot of ways to See if you are or not, There’s data analytics metrics, but I’m going to break it. Down into four umbrellas of how to measure ROI, starting with number one brand awareness Cool, how do you Measure brand awareness, So brand awareness can be measured in one way that you’re, probably Already thinking at home, your number of followers How many people are following you More people following you on Twitter, seeing your tweets following you on Instagram Seeing your great photos following you on Facebook and Reading those great captions, The more exposure you have and the more followers you have seeing it that’s brand awareness Perfect And does that count likes and comments, and things like that too Totally So likes comments.

Love shares retweets. That’s just going to help You get in front of not only your followers The awareness there, but your friends and their friends, maybe their family members as well, So the awareness just Spreads like wildfire Spreadin’, the love Spreadin’, the love All right, so digging in On the analytics aspect, It’s easy to see the amount of followers you see the amount of Likes and things like that, is there a step further? We can go to really see the nitty gritty Yeah totally.

So that’s a cool thing. If you have business pages set up, they allow you a clear view of what’s working. What’s not working what time of a day a post works? Well, how many people are seeing It et cetera, et cetera, So with Facebook, you Have your “ Insights” tab And, what’s really cool, is it breaks down a ton of information And they even have a little Information button on each one. So if you’re reading a Metric and it’s like “, I’m not even sure what Engagement rate means.

”, (, laughs, ). You know you click on it. It’ll break down what it is Perfect And Instagram too. You have To make sure you create a or turn your account Into a business profile that way, you can see insights and how many people viewed Your page liked it commented what time of the week you Get the most engagement If you’ve turned your Instagram account into a business page. Let us Know in the comments below Just say, “ I’ve turned It into a business page.

”, So that’s with Instagram Twitter there’s the top tweet. So you can see that in your Twitter analytics as well So go in. There see what Your audience likes, in other words your customers and then have that inform Your strategy moving forward, which will also help you be More efficient with your time and give the customer what they want, Give them what they want, Give them what they want: ( laughs, ) All right, moving on Tip number two: where are we at with that? So tip number two: one Of my personal favorites customer satisfaction And you’re, familiar with This inside your business, whether you have a barbershop Or a car dealership, you can see it on the person’s face that they’re satisfied or not.

I can’t make a frowny face: Aw Darn it I was cuing them up. So one way you can do it. Online with social media is well your reviews. Your customers are going to tell you if they had a poor experience. Or a great experience But make sure you’re Reading those reviews Believe it or not, I still Come across businesses that don’t take the time To read their reviews, I’m like “ Wait. This is a great place “ to see if your customers Are satisfied or not.

” Also what they’re saying when They mention you on Facebook, Right, Especially, you have to Respond good or bad. I know most people will just Respond to the good ones and try to just ignore the bad Ones like they don’t exist, Just give them a response. See if you can make it right, apologize to the situation and move on Totally So again pay attention to What your customers are saying, They’re talking to you online And if you wan na even a Deeper dive into that we have another episode of The Journey on social listening so check it out So cool statistic: I read the other day: actually, a quarter of people who have a positive Experience at a business will go and tell 10 people Both online and offline – That’s pretty awesome.

All right. Tell me What’s tip number three Tip number three is actually Gaining new customers, which is your favorite, I know When I say “ You’re Gaining new customers”, you can picture just dollar Bills in your pocket Make it rain, ( laughs ). So how can you do that with all this social Media and online stuff Couple ways: One: your customers are going to Click on your Google listing for their directions.

I know I do that before Every business I go to because I get lost very easily, But if I’m clicking on the directions, I’m coming to your business and I’m coming to spend Money with intent Also calling Calling you That’s another great way to measure that you’re getting a new customer You’ve already learned. That a lot of customers don’t take the time to call So if they’re calling You they mean business, they are serious about Spending money with you, You got yourself a new customer And so because the Google Listing’s really important Yelp and that “ Click to call” you wan na, make sure I’r sure this obvious that everything is up to date, The right phone number, the right address The hours right.

How many times have you gone to a business? That said it was open, you get there and it’s closed And that’s a bummer Just makes me so sad. So sad, And also besides that, if you have a chance to Speak about your business, maybe “ About You” or add Photos do that as well too and make sure that’s up to date, Maybe you’ve remodeled. Since the last time you had your Yelp photos. Updated or your Google Add that in there spice things up Take some photos, Keep it up to date, so When your customer comes in that new customer, you just gained they’re getting an experience.

That they predicted that they expected Right All right, so we’ve reached The end of our journey, We’re on tip number Four, the very last one: What do you got for us Brand loyalty, Another one you’re familiar With the terminology, but what does it look like online? Well, there’s, don’t worry, It’s not tough math, but well, let’s see how It goes for Justin here All right, engagement rate. How do you measure that? Well, it’s pretty easy.

It’s the number of likes You receive on a post divided by the number of followers times. You guessed it 100 And that’s going to equal Your engagement rate ( mumbles ), Oh no! No! It’s not that hard, So write it down, keep it nearby And when you’re posting Check in do the quick, math And then you’ll determine is that engagement rate Where it should be, And what’s also awesome, About brand loyalty is actually 85 % of customers – 85 %.

I know that’s – almost 100, 85 % of customers will actually Engage with your brand if they’re, loyal daily And when I say, engage they’re going to be liking. What you’re posting commenting sharing on a daily basis And that’s huge That constant, like and That constant, following they’re, going to continue to see their stuff and they’re going to continue. To tell their 10 friends and onward and onward and onward All right, so that’s a wrap.

We just covered four ways to measure ROI when it comes to your social media. Make sure you, like this article, subscribe to the blog and ring that bell. If you Wan na see these articles first, This has been The Journey. Thanks for reading

Introduction to Java Based Web Development

Piercy’s Introduction to Java Based Network Appplications In this article, We’re going to look at different application. Architectures And you’ll understand the different models for java based web applications. Tim Berners-Lee, a British scientist at CERN the European Organization for Nuclear Research, invented the world wide web. In 1989 He created the web to support better information sharing between scientists around the world.

On April 30, 1993 CERN put the World Wide Web software in the public domain. Cern made the next release available with an open license and the rest is history, And now we can build our own web applications. The basic Web architecture Is a type of client/server network architecture With a client/server network. Some computers on the network will make requests for things. These are the clients, Other computers will act to serve up a response to the client.

These computers are known as servers, For example, when you type or click in your browser for your favorite web site, a request is sent to a server. The server will then try to provide the item or items that are requested In the beginning of the web. Most requests were for static pages. This means we were simply requesting the contents of stored files that did not change, often to be sent back And displayed in our browser.

A dynamic web application is one where the output provided to the client may be different at any moment, based on the current status of data Data that can determine what is viewed by the client may be data provided by the user in a form Data stored. As cookies in the clients, computer and accessed by the application, Current data, like data time of day, the browser used or the operating system Or client behavior on the view that triggers related updates In the dynamic web model, a client will make a request which is sent Over the Internet to the web server, The web server will determine which application to run and will request that the application do stuff At some time.

While the application is processing, it may access storage to get any relevant stuff. It needs to complete the processing. Data can be returned from storage And then the application will create its output. The output will be passed back to the web server, which will in turn, use the output to create a response which will be sent back to the client. The browser will receive the response and render the results We can use Java to make dynamic web applications.

With Java, we have a few different architectures that we can choose from The most basic is known as the Java Model 1 architecture. The model 1 architecture is sometimes adequate for web applications with limited processing requirements With Model 1 JSPs are used to handle all processing, as well as presentation for the application. Jsps are capable of connecting and directing the use of Java classes, which can be applied to take care of the business logic of the application.

Storage can be hard drives with flat files or a database With the Java Model 1 architecture. A request is made by the client. The web server will then request that the JSP do some things. The JSP will start the processing and work with the model which may try to get stuff from storage. Data can be passed back to the application. The JSP will use the data to create the output and then pass the output back to the web server.

The web server will create the response and then pass that back to the client over the Internet, which will render the results When we need more processing power. We’ll use the Java Model 2 architecture. The Java Model 2 architecture follows the more general Model-View-Controller pattern. This pattern is used when we need more significant processing on the server side. The separation of concerns that is inherent in the MVC makes these types of applications easier to create and maintain With the MVC pattern.

The model consists of business objects In the Java world. The model is usually a collection of Java classes. The controller receives the initial request from the web server and makes sure that the application logic is carried out In the Java version. The controller concern is carried out using a Java Servlet component. The view is the component that makes sure the results of processing are ready to send back to the client Java.

Server pages can be used here. The best practice with MVC is to construct each component as independently or loosely coupled as possible, so that, if you need to change one component, Changes to other components are minimized. As with the other architectures, a request can be made, buy the client to the web server. The web server will then ask the servlet or controller to do stuff. The servlet may access Java classes from the model which in turn may access storage to get stuff Once processing is complete.

The results will be passed to the JSP to prepare the output. The output will be passed back to the web server And then the web server, as in other models, will create the response to send back to the client. Many web applications require configuration information so that the server will know how to set up, deploy and connect. The various components of the application With older Java applications, all configuration information is stored in a file called “ web.

Xml.”. The web.Xml file is also referred to as the deployment descriptor The web.Xml file must reside in the WEB-INF directory. You can find this directory in the web content. Folder of your Eclipse projects Here is an example of a web.Xml file for a simple application. This one does not require a lot of configuration. We see a section that defines the welcome file. The welcome file list defines the file names that can be used to indicate which file should run when the application starts.

The three shown here are default, But if you create a web.Xml file, you can edit these to use any welcome file, name that you prefer. This section of the web.Xml file defines How we will access the servlet Note. There are two parts. This part defines a servlet name converter and connects it to the Java class, where we have actually created our servlet TemperatureConversionServlet. The second section connects a URL pattern.

The thing you put in the browser to get the servlet running Here, the URL pattern is /Convert and we are connecting it to the servlet that we named above called converter, So in affect when Convert is sent as a request to the server. It will then run the TemperatureConversionServlet servlet class, Beginning with servlet API 3.0. A new Java API package was introduced called javax.Servlet.Annotation.

This API provides annotation types that can be used for annotating a servlet class. This makes it easier to connect our servlets to URL mappings. If you use annotation, then the deployment descriptor or the web.Xml file is not required to connect your servlets to URL mappings, But we should use later versions of servers For Tomcat. You must use Tomcat 7.0 or later Here’s an example of some of the code from a servlet On line 15.

You can see an example of an annotation, In this case the annotation simple says that there is a URL pattern /Convert. It also provides a description for this servlet.
