The 2019 Update is here!

Yes, it has been a while since I have created a post on this great blog of all things internet marketing. Yes, I called it “great”. Is it just me or is this word seem to be over used in the last two years? Anyway, Matt and I have had a wonderful 2018. We meet some awesome people along the way and finished up a bunch of projects for businesses all around the world. Man, I love doing this work. It is so rewarding to help people with their internet business presence.

A big thanks to the teams at Image Crane Service and Swick and Son. We had a blast building your websites and will continue to keep them up to date as the internet grows and changes.

We have also completed the most difficult transfer. Allshouse Designs is now on WordPress. Matt and I are truly loving it. Our search ranking are shooting up and will continue to dominate our chosen keywords. Watch out, Allshouse Designs will be everywhere. Yes, those are fighting words. Eventually the competition will learn from us. It may take a few more years, but we will inspire and lead with greatness. Maybe not, just felt like typing that because I can.

The Race Car! Updates for Allshouse Designs

The Race Car at Evergreen Speedway

Wow! Have we been busy? As most of you already know, we have been working on getting our Race Car ready for the races, which start this coming weekend at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA.

If you have seen any of the Racecar Series Videos, you know that we have been working on fixing massive vacuum leaks throughout the intake system. We also found that the engine’s head needs work, so the head was removed and now sits at our local machine shop to be cleaned up. In the meantime, we have sense replaced the rear differential with a limited slip differential. There was gearing issues in the old one that was ultimately hindering our lap time.

After having fixed the rear end, our track time has improved slightly but until we get the head work done, the intake and carburetor setup changed around. The track time won’t be where it should be.

We have done some cosmetic work. The car now has a face! We put the nose on the car and have made adjustments to fit the old hood as well.

There is still a lot of work to be done, however, we need to get the wheel lug pattern corrected so we can run 8” wheels for maximum grip around the track. The car also needs that all important paint job and decal placement.

Our driver, Jon Roberts AKA Fozzy, has been great to work with through the entire process and we are excited to see what will come of this race season. His knowledge is incredible, as you would expect from a 2 time NASCAR champion in the Mini Stock Division at Evergreen Speedway.

Episode 5 of the racecar was shot in 360 degrees to give you an interesting look into the car and the process of fixing our issues. Jon and Alec discuss some of the issues and what we are doing to fix them. It has been a fun process of filming and editing for this video and we hope you all enjoy it.

It has been a busy week of getting things wrapped up here at Allshouse Designs. I completed work on a simple informative website for Canyon Park Veterinarian Hospital.  It has been over 20 years when Dr. Vaughn purchased the business, when the city of Bothell and the internet was a lot smaller then it is today.  Even if you have a well established business in your community, a digital presence is really non-negotiable in today’s day and age.  These are some of my favorite types of projects, I love seeing well established local business searchable online!  We also spent some great time with Jon prepping “The Race Car” and making the next video.   

First and for most, I want to thank all our new followers to our blog and a big thank you to everyone watching and commenting about our last video.  Your comments help us get to know what you guys are interested in, so we can give you what you want to see. Keep your comments and questions coming. The race car has been real enjoyable for me; as a previously certified mechanic, this whole process has been bringing back memories.  Enjoyment that I thought left me, shortly after my second baby was born.  Sometimes life gets busy with work and family, but a meaningful way to play with your friends is so important for balance.  With great pleasure, we are proud to announce. Posting function

The number one new function is that you can now post messages and links to your profile! WHAT!!! This is a true game changer for locally listed business. Personally, I think Google is tired of local business getting wiped out on search rankings by national companies. Makes sense to me. We have already started to use the function on our own Google My business listing. to see it, just Google Allshouse Designs. You may be reading this because you clicked on the post that I created on our Google My business listing.

Chat Function

Holy cow! You can now chat with your potential or existing clients using your texting app on your mobile devise. WHAT! That’s right! A client can now chat with your business through the listing.

Webpage function

September Update for Allshouse Designs

Hello everyone and I hope your week is going well. As far as updates go for Allshouse Designs. Matt and I have signed 4 new clients in the last couple weeks. AWESOME! I urge you to go to our update video and look into the description of the video for client’s website addresses. They are great people and offer great services.

Matt is working on improving our videos and creating more of them in his studio. I don’t think I’ll be in the next one, but that may change. I hope the next one we upload is going to be episode 2 for our tools and tips for marketing section.

I have been working on transferring our website into BootStrap. This will make our website faster and will be easier on the responsiveness for different type of devices. Of course, I will not get to this until our new clients are serviced.

If you watched the video, yes we are planning to buy a 360 camera. Whether you like it or not. Video technology is going toward VR and we want to be on the for front of this up and coming technology.
