What is Inner Engineering? | Sadhguru

Only one phone in United States is the “ iPhone”, It’s a good phone, but what we are forgetting is the ‘ I ’. The iPhone is all right, but the ‘ I ’ is the most important thing. Iphone is just a little gadget produced by this larger gadget. This is the gadget. Isn’t it All? The other gadgets have been produced by this gadget, ( Pointing to himself ).

If you pay little attention to this one, If the necessary understanding and awareness and ability to transform this gadget happens within you, your ability to live will be greatly greatly enhanced. Then outside technologies are not a barrier Outside technologies are a boon that ’ s been offered to us, But the boons that have been offered to us are turning into curses in people. ’ s lives simply because they have not taken care of this one.

They ’ re, only trying to take care of the external situation. We have done lot of engineering in the world outside and because of this, we have a huge level of comfort and convenience in the world today, The kind of comfort and convenience that no other generation of people could have ever imagined that level of comfort and convenience. We have, Though, we have this, though we are the most comfortable generation ever on the planet.

We cannot claim that we are the most peaceful generation we cannot claim. We are the most joyful or loving generation on the planet for sure. So in many ways this generation is becoming the most neurotic generation or most complaining generation because we have taken care of the outside, but we have not taken care of the inside. The world is engineered the way we want it, but are we engineered the way we want ourselves to be So? There is a certain way to engineer our system to make this body, to make this mind very chemistry within us.

The way we want it, If our wish is to be blissful to make the world blissful, it would take too many things, But to make this one person blissful a willing person, somebody who wants to be blissful it shouldn, ’ t be difficult at all, But this Is not been done because people have never paid attention to the mechanics of how a human being functions and to engineer that the way we want it. So these are technologies for inner well-being.

Everybody wants health peace blissfulness, but these are simple things Why these things are not happening. Is we have never paid attention to the inner mechanism of what a human being is To pay attention to that and to create it the way we want it. This is ‘ Inner Engineering, ’ Meditator 1. There is significantly more ease in the way I live. My life today than I did before. I still have the exact same stressters, the same difficult patients, the same hectic schedule, the same emergencies that require working late into the night.

However, I do them With far more joy than I ever done, In fact, my efficiencies at work is far greater now than its ever been and my stress level is lower than its ever been Meditator 2. I have always been one of those people with so much energy and I have always had a lot of trouble sitting. Still My parents, didn, ’ t know what to do. They put me in track and I ran ( Laughs ), so I could run it out, But always whenever I would just sit i… it Would be no more than a couple of minutes So after I took Inner Engineering, I ’ ve been able to really be much calmer and be more content within myself and be able just to be wherever I Am and not be thinking.

I need to do this. I need to run around and do this. Meditator 3, I lost 40 lb and my cholesterol went from 210 to 149 and my blood pressure is a lot lower and my lifelong allergies have completely Disappeared, Meditator 4 Inner Engineering gave me the gift of the moment that joy is there. Now There is a sense of appreciation in very small things: Sadhguru We will teach a certain process which is known as the ‘ Shambhavi Mahamudra ’.

This is a way of activating your energies in such a way that the very fundamental chemistry in your body will alter itself within a matter of two to three weeks. One can even measure this in the laboratories. Such experiments have been done how the blood chemistry changes within three weeks of practice has been recorded, and you can make your chemistry a chemistry of blissfulness. Once your system comes to absolute ease, there will be no dis-ease.

What is being taught is a scientific process step-by-step. It ’ ll, be taught. We need twenty-eight hours to impart this twenty-eight to thirty hours of focused time, So it takes that much time to practically and experientially impart. This One aspect of the program is to bring a deeper understanding to their own system, to their physical system, to their energy system, to their chemistry, to their emotional aspects of them, and also the psychological structures.

Once they understand few basics, then we teach methods with which they can make these dimensions within themselves in a conscious manner. Meditator 5. It was a wonderful experience. I ’ m a physician and I can ’ t tell you how much it is going to help me with my stress and also I ’ m, going to incorporate in my practice too Meditator 6. It was beyond my words Meditator 7. That is the most important and the most needed element in here for the human being Meditator 8.

I think this is one of the best things that has happened to me like I meditate but…. So I was expecting a few things from this course, but whatever I got was way better and Way, bigger than what I had expected so…, I think it has changed my life in a fundamental way: Meditator 9 and 10 Fabulous Beautiful, Meditator 11 Was excellent. I love it and yeah its very inspiring Sadhguru. It does not demand any lifestyle changes.

It just takes only twenty-one minutes of your day If you ’ re willing to dedicate twenty-one minutes of your day to this simple process, it has been life-transforming for millions of people. This is not a religion. This is not some kind of a teaching. This is not a philosophy; This is a technology. One has to just learn how to use it like how you learn to use your iPhone. Similarly, you learn to use this ‘.

I ’ to its optimum level, to its fullest capacity. Isha Foundation. Is a hundred percent volunteer organization? The volunteers are taking it to the people because it’s made such a big difference in their life and they want to share it Their dedication their time their life is being given to make this happen to many other people – and this is my wish and my blessing – That every human being…, we do not know what you will achieve in the outside world or not, but this much every human being deserves that.

His experience of life on this planet is a pleasant experience. This much everybody is able to do if only if they turn inward. These simple tools will help people to bring themselves to a new level of balance and pleasantness within themselves. This is something every human being deserves.

How To Make A Living on Youtube: Sponsors, Affiliate Marketing, Taxes, Collabs | Boss Babe Ep #5

Today’s article is going to be a boss, babe, I’m so excited to put this up. This has probably been my most requested article for the past few months. If you’re new to my blog, I have an entire boss, fave series about saving money, bettering your credit moving out on your own, pretty much just anything to where you can be financially free and stable on your own without the help of a man or a relationship Or your parents, if you’re new to my blog, I have been a single mom to my little guys for four and a half years, and I have definitely learned so much and found my way through making a living on social media and being able to provide for Myself and getting through some pretty shitty financial times when I was very irresponsible with money, so I wanted to create the boss babe series to share with you guys everything I’ve learned the past few years about getting my finances in check and yeah budgeting bettering.

My credit really anything in that realm to where what I’ve learned I want to share with other people, so I’m so happy you’re here. Thank you so much for reading. If you are new I’ll link that entire bus babe playlist down below and you can click on whichever article and whichever like area of your life that you need help with, I hope I can be a resource for you. So, for today the number one question I’ve been getting lately is to make an in-depth article on how I make a living on social media.

I have been on YouTube, I think, for like three and a half years now, but I’ve really only been able to pay all my bills and everything through YouTube and affiliate marketing and stuff like that for probably the past two years, when I first started, I was Totally just making articles for fun I’ve been into reading YouTube for probably like eight or nine years. I used to be obsessed back in the day when YouTube was not this big at all.

It was really just a few like Beauty, girls who I readed and I readed like makeup collections and stuff like that, and I started recording on my phone and then I got a really small and Nikon camera, which was like super cheap. It didn’t have a flip screen. I was recording before I had my son and then I had a Christian and we had like a very traumatic birth and nikkyo experience with that. So I took a break and then I started filming again and throughout all that time.

I wasn’t making any money, something you guys, don’t know which I’ve kind of mentioned a little bit. I want to go more in depth into a draw my life article, but I had 11 jobs before YouTube. Nothing in my like growing up period, money-wise was ever given to me. I started working immediately whenever I very first could get a job when I was 15, I started working at Target and I’ve had multiple jobs.

Even when I went to Cal State San Marcos, I think that’s another thing. Some of you don’t know, like I see random comments and it’s like did you even go to school and yes, I actually went to college as well again I’ll go into like all this later, but I was actually working, two different jobs at Radio, Shack and American Eagle and taking a full-time course load at Cal State San Marcos, all at the same time, so I have definitely paid my dues.

You know in retail I worked at a yogurt shop in like shitty jobs and have had very shitty bosses and stuff, and I realized that’s not the way I want to live. I think it’d be absolutely incredible. If I was able to work for myself, you know work whatever hours. I want to work and now with YouTube being able to put out articles that I’m passionate about and sit on camera and talk to you guys about things that I love and it’s my job is the coolest thing in the world, but at the same time, obviously It didn’t come out of nowhere.

I feel, like I’ve worked very hard for the past four years to get here, so I’m going to, let you guys know how I make money through social media and hopefully that can be helpful for you. I also screenshotted tons of questions on my phone from snapchat very specific questions that you guys had so hopefully I will cover everything. I’ve seen tons of other people on YouTube, make these kinds of articles, but they don’t really go into depth about money and stuff, and I know you guys want to know how much you’re going to be making.

So please give this article a thumbs up. If you appreciate the honesty and the transparency, I will try to be as transparent with you as possible, like money making wise so yeah. I know that it is possible to make a living off Instagram and snapchat and stuff like that. If you have a big enough following and you can do sponsorships over there, I do have those social media outlets, but that’s not my full-time income, so my income is basically YouTube, which is Adsense.

That’s the way you get paid when you do making youtube articles. You are not actually paid from YouTube you’re paid through Google, so you need to make sure once you create your YouTube account that you go in under your YouTube settings and you fill out all the tax information and you monetize all of your articles. When you run an ad on your article, that is how you get paid. However, the ad program has recently switched.

A lot of my articles are not monetized anymore. I think it was like 50 to 70 percent of the ad partners through YouTube have pulled out, and also you can’t put anything title that um has anything to do with being gay, bi lesbian trans. You can’t have any customers in there, like they’re, very strict now on what articles can be monetized, so you used to make a lot more money with Adsense to give you guys a kind of like a money comparison.

I had a article last year that I hit 1 million views and I was promoting that article everywhere for months and it is very hard to get a million views like for my blog. My article average is like thirty to fifty thousand, like a million is very hard to reach, so I was so happy to have reached that and I believe that month through Adsense, I made around six grand. So then, this year, once the ad, like monetization everything, switched a lot of the partners pulled out.

Everyone’s ad revenue completely dropped because all our articles couldn’t be monetized anymore. If that makes sense, but I had another meal prep article this year, which hit a million views – and I only made around two grand that month in Adsense. So that’s almost a five thousand dollar difference right there, just because there’s not as many partners putting ads on the articles, if that makes sense.

But anyhow, in my opinion, if you want to do no sponsorships, no affiliate linking you just want to make money off your YouTube articles. I would say you need to have about a hundred thousand views on every single article that you post consistently, because even with me, I don’t make that much off Adsense. Obviously I don’t have millions of subscribers. My Adsense pretty much just covers, like my rent and my phone payment and my gas and stuff like that, I am NOT ballin off Adsense.

I can be very upfront and tell you guys that, because I know you guys want to know how much you’re going to make as well and if it will cover your bills. So that’s just very honest. I also have one sponsor: if you will, with first forum all the products I shout out from them, you guys know I think they’re an amazing, incredible company and I love working with them. I’r not a sponsored athlete so where I don’t get like a set pay through them, but I do have links for certain products.

So if you guys purchase something I’ll get a very small percentage each time my link is used and when you add all those up, it really does help me out every month. So that’s another way to make money on social media. Tons of people will work with like tea companies, phone case companies, workout clothing, whenever a social-media influencer is telling you to use their link they’re, making a very small percentage per sale off of that.

So if it’s someone that you support and you want to support them like if you guys ever use my links – I try to say in every article I am so so so grateful. So just thank you so much, but that is another way that I make money and then also through affiliate linking so anytime. I link something in my articles, whether it’s my lashes or makeup or clothing, there’s different ways to do it. So there’s one way called SHOP style where he can go there.

If you’re an influencer, you can sign up and it’ll, give you like little shortened. Links for every product that you put in so you’ll go to like Nordstrom’s and you’ll find the bluffs that you’re wearing today. You’ll get the link you’ll, take it back to SHOP style and it will shorten that link for you. Then you can put that in the description box of your article and any time one of your followers clicks that link and purchases, something again you’ll get a small percentage of that.

So when they all add up, if you have a big following, it really does help out, there’s also a website called bit lean that will short in any link for you and it’s just a tracking site. So you know when your followers are using your link. I also use the Amazon affiliate program because I love Amazon. I’ve been a prime member for ever anything through Amazon that I’ve purchased, that I truly love the quality, and I tell you guys about.

I leave an Amazon like a shortened Amazon link in the description box. That’s another way to slowly like add up income whenever one of my followers purchased something from one of my links and, of course, with YouTube, you can do sponsorships so actually used to do a lot more when I very first started to make it my full-time income, Because I wasn’t making as much but now I probably only do maybe one or two a month and they’re, usually repetitive, like I’ve, worked with thrive market a few times mixed nature cosmetics, because it’s a product you’ve seen me use multiple times.

You guys know. I love the company. Everything is usually set at the right price point and from there you can negotiate a price with the company that they will pay you to shout out their products in a article and to me I know some people get really like. I don’t know but her about sponsorships to me. It’s literally an honor. If you’ve worked so hard like to me, I’m almost having my fourth year in youtube.

I am up late at night, editing articles for you guys, like I do everything myself. I still don’t have someone to help me film or edit with every like every time I post a article, I go put it on every single social media site. I still respond to thousands of comments. I know lots of youtubers will get to a certain point where you have a certain number of subscribers and you don’t even go respond to the comments, I’m very diligent about going through every single one.

So for all the hard work I’ve put for almost four years. I feel like I have totally earned. You know if I’ve earned that companies respect and they reach out to me, and they want to work with me and it’s a brand first of all that I’ve already loved and been using the product or I try a new product from them and I genuinely love It and the price point is right, because I do revolve my blog around being on a budget and it’s something I can recommend that I know you guys will like and I know, will benefit you or your family or you’ll go buy it then I negotiate a Rate with the brand so sponsorships ad revenue, having your articles monetized and having affiliate marketing are the ways that I personally make money also too for sponsorships.

There’s multiple websites such as famebit, grapevine and brand snob. Those are the top three that I personally use um. I don’t use them very much anymore, because I only maybe do a sponsorship or two a month, but those are where I go and those word brands will post every month what type of influencer they’re looking for what their budget is, what they want you to shout Out in the article or if they just want like an Instagram shout-out or a snap shout-out and those websites already have your following, how many followers you have on each platform listed on there.

So the brand can like view your profile and see if they want to work with you, so those websites are also an absolutely amazing resource when you’re first starting out, I’m going to leave all of those down below. Also, a major question I got on snapchat was what filming equipment I use. So I’m going to have my ring light, my two box lights, my camera, my SD card and my tripod all listed in the description box.

If you guys want to purchase any of it again, I’m very grateful if you do use those links, because they do help me out. I’ve went through and price matched everything for you, so they’re not going to find this specific camera or, like a specific ring, light for any cheaper anywhere else. Alright, I know this article is getting very long, but there’s tons of questions. You guys asked me on snapchat, which I really think will help you out if you’re trying to make youtube or social media your full-time income – and I would love to answer a few.

So I knew this was going to be a long article. But hopefully you guys will continue to read I’m just going through snap. I scream shouted some of the questions that I got the most, so one of them said: hey girl, absolutely love your blog and just started. Mine was wondering how long it took before you begin. Making money, and was there any specific article that really got your blog to grow, also do subscribers matter or does it just depend on views? Thank you so much.

I look up to you so much. Thank you so much for your support. Okay, so I think my YouTube, like Adsense earnings and everything like that, could cover my bills and I could quit my last retail job when I had like a hundred and seventy five thousand subscribers ish. But that’s another question she asked does subscribers matter and to be very honest, no, I have worked with so many brands and I’ve told them like I have over three hundred thousand subscribers and they’ve said.

Well, we don’t really look at that. We look at the average article views they. Basically you want someone to come to your blog and your average article views to be so high as high as possible and to be consistent. You don’t want to have a article at 100k and then a article at 10k. A article at 15k: you want them to be as consistent as possible. That’s definitely still something I’m working on. If you come to my blog, my meal preps are like I had a million.

Some of my other articles are out like twenty thousand just because that’s just me and I like to talk about different things, and luckily I’ve been able to make that work. But you do want your article views to be as consistent as possible. If a brand wants to work with you to be honest, all they care about is sales. They want your followers to go and buy their product, so they want someone who has an engaged audience if you have 300 thousand subscribers, but only a hundred or 200 people read your articles or comment or even going to purchase anything.

That’s not going to benefit like if say the brand pays, you $ 1,000 for a sponsorship, but they don’t even get a thousand dollars in sales. It’s not worth it. You need to have as much of an engaged audience as possible. So, for me, what I have noticed is best is being so close and genuine and having such a tight connection with you guys over the years and responding to comments, I feel like has gotten me an audience that I’m very thankful and grateful for that.

Does support me on sponsorships and stuff and you guys use my links that way, I’m able to get more sponsorships and able to work with other brands and stuff. So you definitely, in my opinion, needs to be tight knit with your subscribers and it’s definitely not just a number that matters their popular question from Liv summers said: do you think you need to have manage it to really make it on YouTube? I want to start, but I have no idea how to deal with the money side of things.

Love. You love you too. No, I do not think you need management at all. I have done everything by myself with YouTube with responding to all my emails. My comments negotiating with brands sending over rate packages all of my life graphic design. For all my social me. I have done all of that myself. With all the resources on YouTube. You can literally type into the search bar what you’re trying to do like to make your blog art and, like you can do it all yourself.

It’s totally up to you. If you want management, the lower amount of subscribers, you have the less engaged your management is. That’s just like sad to say I am with studio 71 right now, which I signed with probably like eight months ago, but the first like three and a half years. I did every single thing myself. Even now. It’s being very honest, my manager is so so sweet and she’s a really genuine person, and I love her, but to be super honest, they haven’t done like much.

For me, I’ve done maybe one or two sponsorships through them, but I’ve negotiated all the other ones. On my own, I don’t really get to go to like too many events that they have, because I do have my son full-time and I’m kind of far away from LA right now, and you know they they want to put their time and their money into youtubers. Who have millions of subscribers so I’d hate to see some of you sign with management very early and them take 20 to 40 percent of your earnings or something crazy that they start out at when you’re barely making any money on Adsense as it is, and them To not really do much for you, so I would encourage you to just hustle and put in the hard work to learn how to do things yourself and just be very professional in your emails when you’re negotiating with brands and just really try to do it yourself.

Next question is from Allegra, which I thought was such a cool like unique question. I’r not sure if a lot of people really put time and thinking about this, but you definitely should especially with having a child. She said: what would you do if you YouTube shut down today and never started back up? I’r guessing. If you want to become a youtuber, you have to have some sort of back-up plan. I love you and Christian.

So so much love you too, and that is an amazing question. Luckily, I feel like, through my boss, babe series – you guys have seen this as well, but I’ve done a pretty good job, saving up to where say YouTube shut down today or my entire account got hacked. I would still have money for rent and the things I needed in the months coming up, but of course you do still need to have some type of backup job plan, as it is I’ve personally always loved public.

Speaking with everything that I share in the boss bag series and just what I’ve gone through with Christian being a single mom for so long and having some really hard struggles with him like throughout his birth, I would love to kind of share my story on some Kind of public speaking platform – you guys know, I’m also writing my guide right now about going more into depth about the attraction and just how I became successful at this age and have been able to support myself and change my mindset.

I would love to do more. Writing not just ebooks may be like real actual books that could like be in Barnes & Noble or something. I would definitely continue on with my creative side. I’ve also always wanted to be a personal trainer. You guys don’t have been on my own. You know fitness journey for so long, but I’m constantly learning more and more about exercise personal training, food nutrition – stuff like that, so I may want to take something that route one day I feel like.

I have so many other passions. That YouTube has honestly helped me, learn and grow so much and learn so so much about social media. I would definitely be able to take that knowledge and have another job that would be able to support me. I don’t feel like everything would just be over. I feel like I’ve learned so much doing what I’m currently doing, and I can definitely take that into the next phase of my life, another cushion, which I kind of touched on a little bit.

But it’s. How do you get sponsors once you start getting a following? Do they contact you or do you contact them, so I have never reached out to a company in an email or something and said: hey I’d like you guys to pay me this amount to shout out your products. I really love your products. I don’t know. I would never do that. Usually companies will contact you and they’ll say hey. Are you are differently with our brand we’d love to work with you? Can you please send us like a rate package or send us some other sponsored articles that you’ve done? We want to see how well those have done.

We’d love to work with you. I always click on the company’s website go to the website check out whatever product. It is that they’re wanting to promote and see if it’s even something in my budget, like my price range, if I wasn’t a youtuber, would this be something that I could be able to afford, because I’m always recommending affordable products to you guys, then I make sure That the quality of the products is good, usually anything people email me I’ll.

Let them go ahead and send it over, but I won’t promise a review or a sponsorship unless I’ve tested out the product, probably for a good like a few weeks depending on what it is make sure it works. Well for me, and then you can kind of negotiate back and forth a rate with a company or you can use those websites. I talked about like famebit, grapevine and brands table. Those are also really great.

So another really good question is: how do you get to the point of PR and I feel like it’s so different now to how it was when I started YouTube so like four years ago? Basically, I was more of a beauty blog. I did tons of hauls and makeup tutorials and I didn’t really do the vlogs with my son or the bus, babe or anything. I was just doing makeup. So, for example, makeup geek had started and they had got really popular and I have been following my Marlena for so long and I wanted to support her.

So I bought like a bunch of makeup geek shadows and I did multiple tutorials on their products and I tagged them and they ended up. Emailing me saying, like we love that you’re spreading the awareness of our brand and you genuinely love our products. We’d love to send you some stuff, and I was just like so grateful. I had never got like a PR package before I was like that would be so cool. Thank you so much so they sent over some stuff and then I think, as long as you are engaged with the brand and not every review you have, you do has to be positive if the product doesn’t work for you, that’s fine, like.

I definitely encourage you to speak your honest thoughts and speak your mind, but I had just always loved makeup geek, so I think over time they just kind of kept me on the PR list, and now I get stuff from them also being with management. I know they have links to lots of companies on the backend and they can just like throw you on PR lists. Now I see lots of my friends who have like millions subscribers getting like 50 boxes of PR like a week from every single company out there.

It definitely did not used to be like that. So yes, if you have management, it’s a little bit easier to get PR on the backend, but you can still do it. Without management, companies will email you if they see that you’re super super active and you have a following and you’re using their products. It basically the promotion for the cost of what I’m trying to say here: the cost of exposure and promotion for the company for them to give you free product it pretty much cost them nothing.

All they have to pay is like the warehouse cost per item. So for them to just give you a PR package, it’s really low, it’s a very low cost like promotion for them. So all they want you to do is use their products and then intern. If you’re able to get them one hundred five hundred a thousand sales then giving you that little PR was really nothing and it made their brand grow even that much more. So companies want to work with influencers where their following is like very, very active, so yeah.

I know this article is getting super super long. Those are just my personal tips and exactly what I do too for the past few years and have been able to support myself on social media. I’r going to leave tons of information in the description box of this article. If there’s any article that you look in the description box, look in this one, I’m going to have all my filming equipment. All of the websites I mentioned, so you guys can partner up with brands literally everything you down there.

I would love a thumbs up on this article if you enjoyed it and this type of content, and just you know how like transparent, I really try to share with you guys as many details as possible without getting into like down to each cent of like what My paycheck is: I try to really let you guys know what you can expect when you are trying to make this your full-time thing, because I know that’s super helpful again.

I’r going to leave my whole box babe series down below if you’re going through any financial struggles, or you want to get your credit better. I have some awesome articles that I really think will help you out and be sure to also follow me on my social media. Also, if you didn’t see my last article, it’s a room tour. I went into detail about where every single thing in my room is from and give you guys a fold like 360s, so I’ll also link that down there be sure to check that out.

I love you guys. I hope you have an incredible weekend and I will see you in my next article

Before they make that decision, And what that means is that a lot of the times If you do not pay attention with how intentional you put up your content, if you do not pay Attention to engage with your feedback and with your reviews, then you’re missing out A lot of customers and potential people that are going to be able to enjoy your food and Beverage establishment In today’s world review sites play such a Crucial role in people’s decision-making process, So just think about the last time you chose Where to eat, You probably went on your mobile, You probably searched up the restaurant and The first thing that probably popped up would be the review site.

You read it And if it’s no good, then the review site Would be reviewing similar restaurants around the area And in turn you are so unforgiving. You would just click on that. Competitor’s Restaurant And when you click into it and you see a 4.5 star or you see a 3.5 star And you read some of the comments and you’re Like “, Hey, you know what They actually have really cool offerings. But their service is not that great, But hey, you know what Their owner is actually replying to it and They have a legitimate reason of why it is at 3.

5 stars.” And in turn, you’re going to be able to actually Make that decision right there and then This is the power of review sites Like it or not. This is what people rely on When they have a decision to make whether they come and consume at your restaurant or Your competitor’s restaurant, So if you have a bad review on your site, Make sure you guys reply to that If you have a good review, make sure you reply? To that as well, So how do you reply to bad reviews You’re, like “, You know what I can actually acknowledge when people say My stuff is good, but how do I reply to a bad review?”? Well, if the bad review is warranted, make Sure you guys acknowledge that and provide a solution to fix that, For example, if someone came into your restaurant Waited for 45 minutes and told you that they had a bad experience.

That’s the reason why They gave a two-star, then! Yes, you can own up to that and say “! Sorry about your experience! Sorry about this Because of the fact that our chef got into An accident he didn’t come in on time and that’s why we were super short-staffed that Day In the future, we’ll make sure that we let Our customers know so that way they can manage their expectation a little bit better.”.

That itself is a legitimate response and people Are much more forgiving if it’s authentic to actually what’s happening and people are Actually owning up to their mistakes, On the other hand, if this bad review was A troll, if that all they’re saying, is giving you a one-star saying they disliked their Customer service – and they didn’t really say too much, then you know what Feel free to troll back in the reviews.

Tell them “ Hey! You know what, If you want to try out our competitors here, Is the address of our competitor.”, Something along the lines to show the character? Of your business to show the other people that you’re not scared and you’re, confident In your food, offering That’s how you’re going to be able to take Care and take your review sites and intentionally provide that experience for your customers, So in turn giving them a much better decision-making.

Process So now that we know the importance review, Sites make for a customer’s decision-making. We need to have much more reviews. Okay And a lot of times how you get more reviews is by incentivizing Your customers, Whether if, for example, they write your view, Then they get an appetizer right, an honest review And when you’re able to incentivize your customers, To get something in return for them to write; something; that’s honest about your food and Beverage establishment a lot of times, they’re going to write their reviews.

Ask your customer to write your review And when you ask them to write your review. They’re much more prone to be able to write for it. When you ask you shall receive okay, If asking doesn’t work, incentivize them with An appy with a free drink with a dessert, whatever the case may be. This itself is a really really underrated. Marketing strategy that not a lot of people use So make sure when you guys go out there to Market for your food and beverage establishment to always incentivize people to write reviews, For your site, Because when it comes down to it, would you Choose someone that has a four-star review with only two feedback, or would you be able To choose some restaurant with a 3.

5 star, but has 4,000 reviews That itself is much much more authentic when There’s more reviews for your food and beverage establishment, The second marketing strategy for your food And beverage is to have amazing, beautiful photographs, And what I mean by that is so many restaurants. Actually skip out on this fact: They actually just take their iPhones. They Just go around their shop and just take the pictures of their food, their restaurants, And they just post it online.

This itself does not work in today’s age. A lot of our customers once again, the decision-making Process really comes back down to how pleasantly they interact with your food and beverage. Establishment on their phones – Okay, That’s because when we are always outside We’re trying to figure out where to eat with our friends with our loved ones. We re on our phone trying to figure that Out And if the pictures does not do the real thing, Justice, then, how are people going to be able to actually know and want to or be tempted? To come and try out your place at all, They won’t be tempted, So make sure you invest in a professionally Done shot Because at the end of the day, if you already Invested tens of thousands of dollars on renovating your shop in marketing in equipments in Hiring staff: what is another few hundred bucks for professional shots of your menu? Of your interior of your staffing, This itself goes a long wait.

So do not oversight! And underrate the importance of professionally-made photographs And having a beautifully set of pictures does Go a long way Because, for example, if I want to be able To wine and dine my significant other, and if I’m able to see that the core of how the Place looks like, and then I’m going to be able to see whether this is fitting for that Occasion And if it is, then it allows me to have more Information to be able to make a decision, which is the reason why it’s so important, For you to be able to invest in a professionally-shot set of pictures not only of your food but Also of your interior, And, of course, when you have all these professionally-shots Done, not only can you put it on your website review sites, but also your social media.

Also any of your marketing campaigns And that’s exactly what we do at 720 Sweets Every single time we take professionally-made Shots when we have new flavors when we have new promotions And we are able to recycle all these photos, And repurpose them for different outlets and repurpose them. So then that way people can And are able to see how amazing our food looks And, in turn, that itself draws in a lot more Customers, because of appealing pictures So once again do not ever cheap out on professionally-done Pictures, The third marketing strategy – that’s going To work for your food and beverage shop is your website and your SEO And what I mean by that is website needs to Always be up to date, When you are thinking about “, Hey, you know, What It’s fine, I’m just going to do my website! By myself And guys it can be outdated or whatever the Case may be, it doesn’t have to be professionally made.

”. I strongly suggest you to think otherwise, And the reason for that is because, when like I was saying when people are doing research on where to eat, they’re going to go on the Review site they’re going to go on your social media and they’re, going to go onto your website And when they come through your website and They see pictures are out of date. They see friction They’re, trying to figure out where your location Is and they can’t find your location They’re, trying to check out what you have To offer – and it’s completely out of date, they’re not going to have a pleasant experience And when they don’t have a pleasant experience.

They’re going to check out something else, This is your opportunity to impress your customers And, at the end of the day, you spent tens Of thousands of dollars renovating the interior of your food and beverage establishment. What is another $ 1,000 $ 2,000 for your website. A lot of times, websites are not up to date. For restaurants And when they’re not up to date, your customers Will go to your competitor’s website and they’re going to be able to have much more pleasant, Experience And when they do they’re going to choose To eat at your competitor’s over yours And key thing to note is that your website, Needs to be compatible with mobile nowadays In today’s world.

Many many people I would Say majority of the people are on their phones, scrolling and trying to figure out where to Eat And when they go on your website, it needs To be compatible with your phone, not just the desktop Okay, So this is something that you must note down And when you’re thinking about what to include Into your website always include directions to your website always include your menu.

And always include your contact information in case they want to call you for any questions. Or to make a reservation? Okay, These are the three key elements for your Website Now, when we’re talking about website we’re Talking about SEO as well, What is SEO SEO is search engine optimization. What that means is that if someone goes online, On Google and they search for best ice cream in Vancouver 720 Sweets would pop up because We are able to actually put those keywords into our website And in turn, when Google searches the most Relevant website of best ice cream in Vancouver, then 720 Sweets pops up.

If you’re confused about. How do you do SEO? Find a professional to help you get the foundational elements embedded on your website. So, for example, when people search for your Restaurant name, you would pop up When they search for your specific cuisine. Your website will pop up And if they search for anything, that’s relevant To you and your restaurant, your website will pop up as well. This is what we mean by SEO and this itself Would allow you to show up a lot more in front of your customers And the more people that are able to go and Land on your site and the more people that have a pleasant experience with your website, They are going to make sure they’re going to convert into your customers, So make sure do not oversee the importance.

Of having a properly done website with proper SEO for your food and beverage establishment, The fourth marketing strategy for your food And beverage establishment is social media. Like I was saying earlier, this is the top Area and platform that people use to decide where to eat. So, for example, when me and my wife decide Where to eat, we’re always on social media, We’re on their platform scrolling through Where we should eat, because this act as a digital menu for us to decide and a lot of Times we save all these different pictures of amazing-looking food And every time when we’re thinking about For example, a brunch place, then we open up our saved archive and then we click on The Benedict that we really enjoyed because it looks so visually stimulating, We click on it.

We see that it’s from a certain restaurant In Vancouver and then we go to that restaurant because of the picture. So what that means is the importance of social Media is that it really dictates how we shop nowadays So make sure that we are actually spending Quality time and nurturing our customers by posting out beautifully appealing pictures Of your food, Okay Or you can post pictures of how people feel When consuming your food offerings right, So this is all stuff that you can actually Post on your social media to engage with your customers, If you have trouble finding about what I’m Talking about finding content to write about or finding content to, post check out my article Right here We talk about how do you create 30 days of Content in just one day, Nowadays, people use social media to decide.

Where to eat so do not ever neglect this platform at all, So for the more advanced users on Instagram Okay, instead of posting pictures, you can actually post articles of how you prepare your Food or how you shop for your food and something that is a little bit more engaging aside from Appealing pictures And other very, very important and effective Tool to use is IG stories. Instagram stories. You can actually show how you actually go.

And purchase ingredients, You can show how the chef prepares the food Before the service, So then that way, it’s much more behind the Scenes much more exclusive and much more insider feel A lot of times. You can actually use more Interactive features of Instagram as well such as stickers and ask them “, Hey, know: What What do you think about the plating of this Food today?” Start a poll, so then that way people can Actually engage and when they are able to engage, they feel much more connected with Your place and they feel like that they are able to make a change in your restaurant, offering As well, Try reposting your customers’ posts.

Your Customers’ journey, because that allows you to show much more, that you have people who Love your product, Okay, And this itself adds to that social proof. Element to your food and beverage establishment At the end of the day make this whole process. Fun and make it engaging because that’s how your customers would be able to connect with You and your restaurant And in turn, they’re going to be able to decide To choose you over your competitors, because you much more engaged with them.

The fifth marketing strategy that you should Definitely, focus on is word of mouth By far, this is the most important strategy. Out there And a lot of times what other people say: About your restaurant has much more weight and strength than what you say about your Establishment, which is the reason why you need to be super intentful when creating this Whole customer journey, So every single touchpoints you should be Intentful with that, And what I mean by touchpoint, is how people Interact with your brand, What is that experience like from the moment? That they hear about your brand to the moment that they do research on your brand online.

How does that look? How does your review sites look? How does your social media look? How does your website look? These are all different touchpoints, which Allows people to have a certain experience and a certain feeling for your food and beverage. Establishment, so whenever there are any conflict or any resistant and friction that can happen So, for example, if people are trying to walk By and look for your restaurant, but the signages are not there and it doesn’t look good or That people have difficulty finding your signage.

That itself is something that you can improve. On That itself is a touchpoint which you can Improve on and in turn, when you improve on all these different touchpoints that itself Allows your customers to really praise how well and how good of an experience they had. With your food and beverage establishment, So that itself allows you to be able to constantly Improve in delivering a better experience for your customer And in turn this becomes a fly wheel cycle, Better experience that you serve the better Than word of mouth is The better the word of mouth, the more customer Comes to you And that itself is an amazing marketing strategy.

For your food and beverage shop, The sixth marketing strategy is to host events. At your food and beverage shop If, for example, your restaurant has down Times then, make sure that you fill those down times with events, Try reaching out to other establishments or Other talent or other suppliers or small business talent that can actually come in and provide A certain service So, for example, for us we invite and collaborate With calligraphy artists to make sure that they come to our spot and host an event And for them it would become a free rent.

Event and they love it because hey know what they have: an establishment which they Can actually host an event at In turn they bring in their own customers. And when their own customers come, then we can actually provide them with our service We’re able to expose our brand to their customers. And in turn, we’re able to cross promote And because of the fact that our place we Are offering events during the slower times we’re going to have this space regardless We’re going to have the sunk cost of paying For rent regardless, Why not promote and use this opportunity to Market to a different new set of customers as well, That’s the importance of hosting events is To stay relevant within different industries and within different timeframe, Super important to be able to host events.

Because it’s almost a zero cost to you. Okay, That’s the importance and effect of running A proper event all the time for your restaurant. So now that you know the importance of hosting Events at your food and beverage place it’s important to find people who want to host The event And how do you find these people Go on and meetup.Com Meetup.Com allows you to find events that Are happening locally around your area And you can actually reach out to these people.

Who are hosting events and offer your place either for free or at a fee or offer them An arrangement where every attendee that attends they charge them a drink or dessert or a appy Or whatever the case may be, So then that way, you can actually compensate Part of your cost, Okay, So aside from meetup.Com, sometimes we utilize Facebook groups, Facebook marketplace or we go on to Instagram and find different small Business people who actually need a place to host events So, for example, calligraphy classes, art, centers, Floral classes, a lot of these different talent need a place to be able to host events and That’s how we’re going to be able to grow and cross promote within their customers and Our customers, The seventh marketing strategy that worked Wonders for us is PR.

Okay, What I mean by PR is having a very prestigious Outlet featuring your food and beverage establishment, Why do we even want PR PR gives you social credibility? It gives you credibility because someone A publication media outlet that is well-known within your city is featuring you and that Has a lot of weight when it comes to how people perceive your food and beverage establishment For us, we got publication from one of the Biggest publication within our first two months of opening and in turn we were able to generate A lot of buzz because we were featured by this really well-known publication.

So, in turn, aside from this social credibility, You can actually use this piece as a marketing blog for you, a marketing campaign. You can actually run ads with it. You can put it on your social media outlet. And it’s itself really: it compounds the effect of getting PR. Now I know you must be thinking. “, Hey, know, What but Wilson I don’t have tens of thousands of dollars looking for a PR agency,.

” Good news, for you is that a lot actually All our PR is free PR. How do you get free PR? You may be wondering like “ Hey, you know, What How can you get so many publications featuring Your food and beverage establishment?” And I’m going to be telling you how you do That, First of all, have a wow element, an element That allows people to talk about you, Because if you do not have something that Is a talking point, something that is different, something that is out of the world, then why Are people even talking about you So make sure you’re not vanilla, Have some polarity So for us we were having smoke coming out.

Of ice cream Conventional ice cream in a cone does not Have smoke And if you combine something that is visually Pleasing and visually stimulating with a product that is boring, which is just ice cream, that Itself is a huge talking point back five 10 years ago. That’s the reason why we were super super Successful After you have a wow element, then you need To script and compile your own press release And after that you’re going to have your Outreach to the different publication and send it all to them and then you’re going To have this compounding effect, the FOMO effect that we’re talking about, If you guys want to learn more about how to Craft, your free PR booklet.

So then that way you can have prestigious and well-known publications. Featuring your food and beverage establishment make sure you check out in the link below. I put this all in the ultimate course below So check it out below, if you want to know how to craft your free PR, But nonetheless, really really important. Thing is to not neglect the importance of PR, because it is super helpful. It gives you compounding effect for your food And beverage establishment The eighth way of marketing your food and Beverage establishment is working with big vendors And what I mean by that is working with vendors To cater your service and your offering Whether you’d be offering ice cream bubble, Tea food, pasta, sandwiches, whatever the case may be, there’s always a need for your Product and your offering So, for example, for us at 720 Sweets, we catered To a lot of different weddings because we’re offering them a little tiny treat and people Love having our ice cream sandwiches at their wedding, because not only does it look, nice Does it taste good, but also it adds an element of some supporting local, which is the reason And angle that we’re approaching to all these different wedding planners And in turn, we’re able to land a lot of wedding.

Catering deals So within your industry and within your offering Reach out to different people and suppliers and offer them a catering service That itself allows you to diversify in terms Of having not just people dine into your place, but also having a revenue stream that you Can actually count on that is a separate revenue stream, Whether you have people coming into your restaurant Or not, you still have this catering revenue stream all the time and in turn it gives You a certain padding as well for your bottom line.

The ninth marketing strategy is collaboration. This is a marketing strategy that I absolutely Love and as you can see, on 720’s Instagram, we have collaborations all the time, And why do we want to do that? It is because of leverage. What is leverage Leverage is using and actually getting benefit. From your collaboration’s list, your collaboration’s customers, And by you, collaborating with each other You’re able to be able to expose your brand to this brand’s customers and in turn, you’re Going to be able to reach hundreds, if not thousands, of people much more faster than If you were to go out there to look for customers yourself, which is the reason why we always Promote collaborations, To give you an example, we collaborated with An artisan marshmallow company and we created a special ice cream flavor for them and they Had more than 10,000 followers in their Instagram account Because we collaborated our Instagram account.

Grew by 2,000 subscribers. Just because we collaborated and in turn people and their Customers were able to be exposed to our brand that didn’t know about us and they came and Experienced our joint venture of a collaboration of our product and in turn and fell in love. With us, and now they became our friend, which is the reason why I highly highly recommend You to do collaborations with any other type of people or vendors or other establishments.

Who have similar client, avatar and client profile, Then that way you can cross pollinate and Leverage off other people’s customer list, The tenth marketing strategy that I’m sharing With you today is running ads, This is actually one of my least favorite When it comes to marketing strategy, because so many people are running ads, just because Your competitors are running it just because other people are doing it And in turn they don’t have the fundamentals.

Right and if they don’t have the fundamentals right, then the ads are basically just burning. Money. Okay, So that’s the reason why I highly highly Recommend you to make sure your foundations are set understand why you’re running the Ads and understand that running ads is basically trading dimes for quarters, And what that means is you may be spending Thousands of dollars running ads and in turn you may be benefiting what about 10 $ 20,000 But if you’re not aware of the foundations and the structure of how do you structure Your ads and the intent behind it and the objectives of why you’re structuring these Ads then, it becomes very, very difficult and it really really really becomes a pitfall.

Very very soon, But nonetheless, nowadays, on the flip side, It is super cheap to be able to run ads, especially on Facebook and on Instagram and on Google Ads, if you know what you’re doing because of the fact that we can actually hyper-target People, And what does that mean? It is because we can actually target people That live within five kilometer radius of us, that loves Japanese food and that traveled To Japan recently We can actually target people to that specific Of a degree and show them that you know what we are: an authentic, Japanese restaurant.

Do you miss Japan, Come and try out our latest, offering We can actually market and target these people. Nowadays And that’s the importance And that’s why, in today’s world, it’s so Important to be able to actually know how you’re able to run your ads before running Your ads right! So if you want to learn more about running Ads make sure you guys actually learn more about it before you actually spend the money.

Running ads, So there you go The top 10 restaurant marketing strategies, That I’ve shared with you These are the timeless strategies. 7 Brilliant Strategies To Promote Your Blog For Free

These are actually the nitty-gritty stuff that works stuff that you actually got to put your time in it put your effort in it to actually get results. It’s not simply as cut and paste put your link there and all of a sudden people and come back to your website there’s a lot of hard work involved. I remember what successful people do they do things that other people don’t want to do. They do the hard work.

Okay – and I know you’re successful and I know you’re going to do the hard work. So the first thing is sniffily. It is a semi free service. It’s fantastic. I’ve been using it for a while. So let me just write it up over here: hey you guys see that sniffly so go to the website right now, snip link and basically, what you’re going to do. Is this I’m going to do a little trick over here, some tricks to the camera? So first thing you do: is you going to go to snip, lead and you’re going to find out a piece of content that you would like to promote? That is not yours.

I want to repeat that again: you want to find a piece of content that you love. That is not yours, so you can go to Google, for example. Let’s say I’m making a article right now about content promotion. I will go to Google I’ll type in content. Promotion now see the top five blogs to show up. I’r going to pick one blog that I love that I know provides value. I’r going to use that link. So I go to snip Lior you’re, going to go to simply and you’re going to paste this link into a simply box.

So right here going to hold this here. Hopefully, you guys will see an animation should pop up right there, okay, so basically what you’re going to do is instinct you’re going to paste that link. You want to share right there next thing. What you want to do – and this is what’s so amazing about sniffly – is any single time. If someone clicks your sniffly link on a web page they’re going to see a small CTA, a call to action at the corner of your site or the corner of that post.

So if you can see it right over here, you see another image over here. So you’re going to have your link that you want to share then you’re going to write in your call-to-action. Your write in, for example, you know, get your step-by-step guide for content promotion and then, basically, underneath is you want to put the link towards your actual article? So all the steps should be here. Let me flick it like that, so I’ll be a little easier, so the steps can see right over there.

The whole point is sniffly. Is this you want to share other influencers articles using a snippet code when someone clicks that link they’re going to see that article that you’re sharing, but at the corner of either the left hand, side or the right hand, side they’re, also going to see a call To action, maybe an image that you installed or, for example, I put on a box, a box pops up boom, and it says if you like this article, you would also like you know: seven steps to content promotion, seven steps to optimization and conversion nice, big green Button or an orange button and a click and what’s great about sniffly, is you’re doing a couple of things over here.

Eight you’re not just promoting your article you’re, promoting other people’s articles, also putting them on the spotlight and a great way to open up a line of communication and create synergy among other content creators out there. Second of all, you’re, not soft selling over here you’re, not just pushing your content, saying. Oh, you read my stuff or view my stuff is hey guys. I found this useful article that I use before.

I hope you like it. They open it up. I go. Oh thanks Amir and then basically, once they read it, they see a soft sell of yours. If you really enjoyed this article check out this other one over there. So that’s number one simply: okay, guys number two. Let me write this out number two, your tribe and basically, what you can be using over here is a software called buzzsumo. It’s absolute favorite. I love them so much.

Let me begin. I mean just right now: every single business needs to be using buzzsumo calm. I can’t live without this program. I think it’s in my top three software’s that I use right here. So I’m going to be explaining to you how you can be using buzzsumo in a strategy of reaching out to your tribe, so how about similar works is finds. The most popular articles shared on social media, for example, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, all the above.

However, what it also finds out is what other people have shared in the past and that’s really really important. So basically, what I do with bassoon was: let’s talk about this article again we’re promoting this content promotion article by go to bus zoom, oh and I type in content promotion on the screen. So let me put this up again, so you can see so we go to bus sumo and I’m going to write in content, promotion, buzzsumo and pretty much we’re busting was going to go.

It’s going to find out all the top articles that people have shared on buzzsumo, but this is what you want to do. You want to find the top three articles being shared around a net about, for example, content, promotion, there’s a key feature in buzzsumo, where you can click view shares – and this is some real ninja stuff over here. When you click view shares, it shows all the people on Twitter to share this exact same article and what you want to do is you want to find out their email if you can’t get their email find out or just get their Twitter account, but preferably you Want to find out their email there’s many different software’s out there.

For example, one a really good one is rapportive RPP ort ib e calm, it’s a chrome, Gmail plug-in you plug it in and guess the email. If you’re right, it shows you all the social profiles of the individual, so you get that email of all the people. They’ve shared your stuff, and you can outsource this to VA ninety-five percent. My stuff is VA. There’s a lot of SOPs that I share with my other clients that I have so basically, once you find out the list of everybody that shared the same article, what you want to do is now, like, I said, get their email addresses and contact it.

So this is what you want to say: hey Mike, just I’m assuming the guy’s name is Mike hey Mike. My name is Amir, and I just saw you share this last week about seven types of content promotion. Well, I just released his brand new article that expands on that. I thought that your tribe might like it. Would you like me to send you the link have a great day, looking forward to your reply. This is really important over here that I want to talk.

There’s something really important here I want to talk about, I said: would you like me to send a link? Not here is the link. Would you like me to so its permission based marketing you’re, pretty much emailing every single person that shared a similar article as your article and telling them I’ve created this new guide, I’ve expanded on from the old guide, and I thought that your tribe, your audience, might Get some value from this? Would you like me to send you the link permission, permission permission as opposed to here’s.

My article share my stuff. Here’s my article share myself. Nobody wants to share your stuff. Nobody cares about you. You have to be providing value towards people and you have to be always on Oropeza, always asking for permission. So if the person says yes, you send them the article and you thank them, and you want to do this for like 20 30. 40. 50. 60. 70. People, but you got to think about the compound effect.

Imagine now out of 70 people you’re 50 people, your conversion rate is in 5 10 %, and you get like 5 to 10 people, sharing it and out of those 5 to 10 people. Maybe each one has an audience of 10,000 to 100,000. You see the compound effect over here. It’s hard work, but this is the work. This is the necessary work to start promoting your content. So that’s number two using buzzsumo to find other people who have shared similar articles, such as your article finding out their emails and then emailing them and asking their permission.

What they’d like to see your articles? That’s number two. So number three one of my favorites. Okay alert alert, Google Alerts, it is so underutilized. I can’t stress enough how many people don’t use Google Alerts and it’s so easy if you’re not using it use it. I want to teach exactly what ideas. One simple step is many different things you can do with it. However, this is what I like. Okay, so basically, what you want to do is you want to go to Google Alerts, and let me put this up over here in the search port.

You want to type in site two semicolons Cora calm and your keyword, for example, in this article, we’re talking about content promotion. So my keyboard, if my keyword, is content promotion. If you don’t know what Cora is Cora, if it’s probably the biggest but asking questions and getting answers, form online high-level people on their SEO, CEOs venture capitalists of funds, entrepreneurs marketers, you name it like it – has every single expert.

You can possibly think about right there in Cora, asking questions and answering questions, and what you want to do is any single time. Somebody asks a question or answers or questions about your key. Were they looking for in this case content promotion? You want to jump in, and you want to answer that question and leave a small kind of organically want to tie in your article to the answer that you provide to send people back to your site.

This is a real small thing that you can do on the side that you’re not going to see exponential results right away. However, there’s two things: that’s going to happen over here, a even start: building credibility as an expert by answering all these questions and B over time. All these links slowly start increasing traffic back to your site and it’s a whole compound effect. You know, building traffic is an overnight thing.

It happens bit by bit by bit so go to Google Alerts type in sites, and I call it Korra, calm, slack or calm, and then your keywords. So let me put that right here. Bang right, you guys can see that Coolio number, four blog commenting. So that’s number four, this one. There is two different camps. Some people say no. When some people say yes, listen anytime. Anybody tells you any absolutes about saying yes or no they’re wrong.

There’s many different shades of grade in many different colors. There’s many different answers within an answer: the problem, with blog commenting what most people do? Is this don’t just spam? The blog, like, oh hey, I like to think here’s, my article, all cool post, here’s my article. It doesn’t work that way. What you need to do is create a conversation. So, for example, someone has a blog I’ll give you example a here.

The best way to actually tie in your article towards that blog is always asking questions. So basically, if you see it, you know everybody reads blogs every day and there’s comments, sections on 99 % of the blogs out there. What you want to do is like, for example, let’s say you want to leave a blog on my site, like hey, I’m here great article in this section over here you mentioned XYZ. I was wondering about.

Is this applicable to this because over here? So then, that’s where you can tie in your article over here in this article I wrote something similar, but I’m not too sure. If it’s correct, you know if you got a split second, I love your opinion and feedback on this. What just happened over there? A you’re asking questions and open up a line: you’re opening up dialogue, you’re opening up an area of trust, as opposed to like a great article.

Here’s my article asking questions, I would say, is one of the most underutilized methods when it comes to building relationships because the more we know each other, the more trust we have with each other. What’s the same know like and trust exactly so that’s what you want to do. You want to find all the blogs out there that you read. Let’s say your goal is 5 comments a day you want to provide value on that blog comment.

You want to ask questions, and you want to slowly within that question – tie your article back in there number 5 this one. I won’t spend too much time on, because this can become a whole course, as a million articles on this. It’s crazy, but Facebook Ads so set up going into this crazy, convoluted way of doing Facebook ads I’m going to keep it really simple for you, I mean extremely extremely extremely simple.

Instead of focusing on power editor and all these crazy different things, we want to do baby steps and I’ve spent thousands, I want to say, spent I’ve wasted, thousands and thousands of dollars on Facebook ads, because you know what I was trying to a strategy this strategy. I was running around not having a gameplan and jumping too big right away. You know spending hundreds of dollars on ads as opposed to spending $ 1 $ 2 $ 3, so one of the most simplistic ways that you can actually start promoting, your blog is Believe It or Not boosted posts.

Okay, so that’s that small button that you have over there. So let me just pull over here. If you can see that I’ll be like a abusive post over here and within boosted posts, you can actually have edit audience right now and in that edit audience you want to keep it really relevant. So, for example, in this article about content promotion I’ll have all these different targeting. I will target, for example, people who read growth, hackers, calm, inbound, org growth, hacker TV, anybody that reads anything from Moz anybody reads anything from Neil Patel.

Anybody that reads anything from all these different marketers and all these different startups around the world and target them that way, and I will only have it about $ 5 a day you can even start as low as $ 1 a day if you want check out An individual amazing job on Facebook, especially for the $ 1 they campaign, Dennis you, the guy’s phenomenal. Let me put his website right here. Boom check him out, study his stuff.

I highly recommend him. So that’s that when it comes to Facebook Ads, keep it simple and once you start scaling that way and actually start creating campaigns, then I highly recommend that you outsource Facebook Ads because you as an entrepreneur, building your online business trust me, you don’t have the time Nor the patience to be sitting on your computer screen linking all these different metrics and campaigns and headlines and copy and images hire the best and you’ll get the best results.

Okay, number: six moving along weekly round ups. In fact I would say this is six and seven combined because there’s two different methods, using though the same strategy. So let’s say well we’ll talk about weekly round ups, first weekly round ups and this one’s pretty simple. However, there’s a lot of tedious work when it comes to this, but the results are amazing. I can’t ress enough about doing the strategy so pretty much.

This is what you want to do. You want to go to your friendly neighborhood, google and you want to type in your keyword. So in our case, let’s talk about this, so we’ll just put it here, you guys can see that it’d be content marketing. Then, in quotations round up, and sometimes I even like to set content marketing quotations or content marketing quotations round up 2016, so finding the most relevant to this thing and pretty much what you’re doing is you’re.

Looking for Google for people who do round ups, people who say check out these five blog posts about a Content promotion check out these 22 experts that share their tips about content promotion check out these seven amazing people who have successfully marketed their startups. The whole thing that you need to do is you need to reach out to them and pretty much ask for for them to feature you, and it can be this simple hit.

My name is me: I’ve been following your weekly round-up and I really love the value that provide. Last week I found an article naming to round out that really helped me. I use this strategy from it and thank you so much just yesterday, I put together a topic on step-by-step guide for content promotion that teaches people how to do X. Y & Z, I thought that you might like to check it out and possibly include it in your next round.

Up either way, keep up the amazing work long time friend, all the best sincerely Amir, and that’s it a you’re thanking them for all the value to provide you’re telling them that they’re doing an amazing job and a your ask your asking their permission. You know what can you use my article in your weekly roundup? Obviously the conversion rates going to be. You know you can get anywhere from five percent honestly, for this we’ve had a lot of success.

We get anywhere from 20 % to 30 % conversion rates. Just asking people being human go figure, you know, being human actually works as opposed to automating everything. Don’t automate everything create those relationships, create those bonds create that community that you guys can work together. Everybody helps everybody as opposed to competition for this competition, and you can do the exact same thing for the resource guide.

So I mentioned the weekly round. Ups are kind of similar to the resource guide. So, instead of you putting up round up you type in content, promotion, quotation, resource guide and then basically that’s what you do. Okay, so that’s it guys. Those are my seven tips for content promotion. If you found value in this article, I highly appreciate, if you shared like this with your friends and family, also make sure to subscribe to my blog for more weekly marketing mindset and business tips, also, sometimes blockchain stuff till then.

My friends have an amazing day and peace adios

HTTPS and Web Security – The State of the Web

My guest today is Emily Schecter who’s here to tell us about HTTP, you probably know of it as the thing you need to enable to make your site secure, but Emily’s here as product manager on Chrome security team, to explain how it’s so much more than that. Let’s get started so Emily. Thank you for being here. Thanks for having me, I’m excited to be here.

Can you start by telling us about what is HTTPS and why is it so important yeah, so HTTPS is actually just HTTP but over a secure connection and what HTTPS actually gives us is identity, encryption and integrity. So what that means is, if you type HTTP google.Com into a web browser, you can be sure that you’re talking to the real google.Com, not some fake google.Com and also means that no attacker on the network can actually see or modify any of the traffic.

And this is actually really important, because the collection of sites that you’re browsing actually says a lot about your intentions, your behavior and your identity and the web isn’t really continuing to get even more powerful, as chrome tends to add new features to the web platform. For example, the web now has the geolocation API, which means that sites can see where I live, where I work, maybe where my doctor is, or my kids go to school, and we really only want that information to be private between myself and the site that I Trust so HTTP gives us these guarantees, and this is why we think it’s really important for the whole web to be HTTPS by default, so it’s been around for a while and it has kind of accumulated some misunderstandings around it.

Can you kind of help dispel some of the myths around it sure yeah, so HTTPS has actually been around for quite a long time, but for many years it actually was very expensive and very slow and really hands-on and confusing to set up HTTPS. But the reality is that people all over the web have worked hard to make that change and it’s become a lot cheaper and a lot easier to set up. Https people still now think you know some of these myths about how it used to be are still true, but the reality is that that has changed.

So, for example, you should be really expense to set up HTTPS because you had to buy a certificate from what’s called a certificate authority, but now their certificate authorities out there that will give you a free certificate and make it really automatic and easy to set up. One of the examples is, let’s encrypt, so this is actually changed HTTPS and made it much easier to adopt. So what is the state if HTTPS? Now I look at HTTP archive data and it says that adoption is around like sixty percent and when you go back and look through like seven years of data, you can see it’s actually rising like pretty steeply.

So what are the tools that you use to understand? The state of HTTPS and what is it so Chrome, has a public transparency report where we published out about what we’re seeing in chrome in terms of the amount of HTTPS usage, that’s out there on the web. So, for example, what we’re seeing is the usage in Chrome on all of the different chrome platforms on desktop and on mobile is been rising over the years and if you go on to the HTTP transparency report, you can see chrome platform how the usage is increasing.

You can also see not only this in terms of the pages that are loaded over HTTPS, but also browsing time, because, as you might imagine, people are spending different amounts of time on different sites, and we can see that that across the different chrome platform is growing. As well, it’s also broken down by country, which is pretty interesting, because you can see how different countries all over the world are doing on their adoption of HTTPS.

Some other things that are on the transparency report are HTTPS adoption actually at Google. So you can see you know, Google, it is a big site, just like any other site. It took us a long time to actually get this ramped up, and so it’s pretty cool that the transparency report also shows how HTTPS usage has grown at Google. For all of our different products, so what kinds of things is chrome doing to increase HTTPS adoption? So I would say there are two main areas where chrome has made slow changes over time to encourage HTTPS adoption and the first is in Chrome’s UI for connection security.

So chrome shows an icon in the address bar that indicates connection security and we’ve actually changed this icon over time to help users understand the lack of security in HTTP connections. So chrome used to show just this plain circled, I icon for HTTP connections and we thought that was actually a problem because it really doesn’t indicate to people at all that there’s no security with an HTTP connection and what we’d actually like to get to for all.

Http connections is this kind of scary: read not secure warning, but we think that if we just roll that out for all HTTP sites right away, it actually could cause some panic right because we don’t want the web to seem scary. We don’t want people to see this morning all the time and we’ve also seen that people get what’s called warning fatigue, which is that if they see warnings too many times over and over, they start to ignore them.

They stop paying attention to them. So we want to be honest with users without sort of inciting chaos and panic. So what we’ve done is we’ve actually rolled out the warning slowly over time increasing, so we first started showing this gray eye not secured in the address bar just for HTTP pages with passwords or credit cards, and then, sometime later, we started showing the warning also when Users enter data or for incognito pages, and we actually just announced that in July of this year, we’re going to start showing it on all HTTP pages.

So we’ve actually rolled that out over time we’ve seen the amount of HTTPS usage increase and because HTTP unit has increased, then we’re not too scared about the warning fatigue that would be shown from the warning, and so what about the technical API is on the web. Right so another thing that we’ve done in chrome, to encourage HTTPS adoption and also to you know make the web more secure is to require HTTPS for web api s that are very powerful so for new api’s that have come out like service workers, because serviceworker is Such a powerful API we’ve actually required HTTPS to use it.

This also goes for HTTP two, which really improves performance, and it actually requires HTTPS, but we’ve also taken a look at api. Is that already exists on the web and we’ve actually deprecated usage over? Not secure connections for the api’s that are very powerful, so an example here is geolocation, there’s also getusermedia, which is about getting the photos on your phone, and so now sites can no longer use those overage.

This is like patching holes and security on exactly that’s great. So where do you think we’re heading with HTTP? Are we going to achieve a hundred percent adoption and we can all like go home or is our job not yet done? As we talked about earlier, adoption is still, you know not at a hundred percent, yet there. So we still definitely have you know a ways to go. I don’t know that we’re going to get to a hundred percent because I think there’s always some kind of driftwood sites on the web, things that people don’t maintain, but I do.

I would like to see us get close, so you know, if you know any sites out there that are still HTTP, you should go, tell them to turn on HTTPS. They said. No then tell them to come talk to me and tell them why they should, and you know users on the web can also vote with their feet if, like their bank, isn’t secure like go, find a secure banking website put your money somewhere else. So what are some of the knots that websites need to untangle when they need to make that switch from HTTP to HTTPS yeah? So you know migrating your web site to HTTPS.

It’s not as easy as just you know, putting an S on the end of the name of the web site. It’s not as easy as just getting a security certificate. You actually have to look and make sure that all of the services that your site depends on. Also support HTTPS, so, for example, a large complex site might depend on many ad networks, maybe analytics providers, and so the sites have to sort of take an inventory to first see what are all of these third-party dependencies that I have and then do.

They actually support. Https and then, if they don’t, they might have to go out there and actually convince them to start supporting HTTPS. So it can actually be sort of a project management type project as well to like make sure that you you’ve sort of done spring cleaning of the whole site. Well, Emily. Thank you so much for being here and telling us about HTTPS, and I learned that there’s so much more to it than just the S at the end of the URL, where at the end of the protocol in the URL and how it’s actually like deeply ingrained With the API is that people use for being Sheriff thanks for every week, so if you’d like to weigh in on the HTTP discussion, leave a comment below we’re going to have links to everything we talked about in the description tune in next time.

Thanks for reading

The Global Marketing Mix – Internationalisation – Global Marketing

As marketers, we talk about making decisions about an organization’s global marketing mix, in other words, to what degree the marketing mix should be standardized or adapted. However, before we start, let us list the learning goals for this article. Firstly, the goal is to understand the connection between choice of the global marketing mix and the rest of the internationalization process.

Secondly, we will gain an understanding of what it means to standardize or adapt an organization’s marketing mix and why an organization might be motivated to strive for a high degree of standardization. Thirdly, we will learn how to evaluate different factors that can help an organization decide. The most suitable degree of standardization or adaptation of the different elements of the marketing mix.

So let us begin so. How is the choice of the global marketing mix connected to the rest of the internationalization process when an organization goes for marketing their products and services? Only on the home market to also target one or several foreign markets, we talk about an organization’s internationalization process. The internationalization process starts with a choice of which foreign markets target.

We call this the market selection process. Secondly, we would decide on how to organize our entry to the foreign market. We would evaluate different factors and subsequently we will decide on which intra mode to use and ultimately, we would define our marketing mix the four or the 7ps for the foreign markets. The marketing mix we use on the foreign markets may vary to the one we use on the home market and we would address different factors that influence our choice regarding standardization and adaptation of the marketing mix.

Choice of the global marketing mix is what we’ll address in this article. So when deciding on the global marketing mix, what does standardization and adaptation actually mean and what might motivate an organization to strive for a move in either direction? Let us use an example. This French business produces French cakes and desserts in these modern production facilities, well-educated confectioner’s, develop recipes and create delicious cakes and desserts ready to be sold and distributed to cake, loving customers, the products, the cakes and desserts are typically French in style and tastes.

They are frozen immediately after production and then sold and distributed to organizational customers, a variety of catering companies, restaurants and cafes. Around France. They have developed a price structure which includes a specified discount system with lower prices at higher volume orders they attract new and retain existing customers through a range of promotional activities. Some of these are key account management.

They attend trade shows and they supply their customers with in-store point-of-sale materials, where relevant. If French cakes were to copy this exact setup off the four PS in France when entering a foreign market, for example the UK, we would call this a complete standardization of the marketing mix. If to the other extreme, they were to enter the UK with a different marketing mix, a different product sold through different distribution, blogs at different prices and supported by a different set of promotional activities.

Then this would constitute a complete adaptation of the marketing mix. However, it is unlikely that companies will end up at either of these two extremes. It is more likely that an adaptation of some of the elements in the marketing mix will take place and that others will remain the same. Therefore, marketers will most often talk about the degree of or different elements of adaptation or standardization of the marketing mix.

So why might French cakes be motivated to achieve a high degree of standardization? Entering new markets is a costly affair, both with regards to actual monetary costs and human resources involved, but it is also time consuming, and this will increase the company’s time to market and delay their internationalization process. Therefore, most organizations are naturally motivated towards achieving some degree of standardization.

Simply in order to minimize these types of costs. We have now established an understanding of the connection between the choice of global marketing mix and the rest of the internationalization process, and we understand what it means to standardize or adapt an organization’s marketing mix for foreign markets, and subsequently we have talked about why an organization Might be motivated to strive for some degree of standardization, so let us move on so what might impact French cake’s choice of a suitable degree of standardization or adaptation of the marketing mix when entering the UK market? Let us look at some of the factors that would speak for a move toward standardization and then as some factors which might indicate that some level of adaptation would be suitable.

Let us look at some other factors which would indicate the standardization of all or parts of the marketing mix could be suitable for French cakes when entering the British market. First of all, we will look at the level of globalization of the market that French cakes operates. On research has shown that the British consumers have different needs and values, and so therefore, this does not call for a high level of standardization.

For example, we would recommend that the product, the cakes and desserts be adapted slightly to suit the British consumers tastes. Some of the larger change of restaurants have a global presence and use centralized purchasing processes. This would indicate that French cakes would benefit by having a centralized approach to part of their sales organization in order to respond to these types of customers.

Secondly, we will look at the globalization of the industry, which French cakes operates in if an organization has high research and development costs. This is often the case when operating in technology heavy industries. They are usually very motivated to recuperate these costs as quickly as possible. They would therefore be keen to standardize their marketing mix and thereby be able to enter many countries quickly and achieve high volume sales.

In our example, French cakes does not have high R & D costs, so this will not be the most significant factor for them to consider when evaluating standardization potential. Thirdly, we would look at the globalization of the competition in addition to some local competitors. French cakes also face some larger competitors who supply the larger restaurant change on the British market. These competitors have a global presence and a relatively high level of standardization.

This indicates that French cake should also consider a standardized approach in some aspects of their marketing mix. An internal factor which could indicate standardization potential, French cakes, competitive advantage of the French market is their ability to quickly respond to changes in market needs due to their close cooperation with the distribution network. This also has potential on the British market, but will take time to establish in order to do this successfully.

We could, for example, advise French cakes to standardize certain elements of their sales and data collection processes. Moving on to some factors which would favor an adaptation of the marketing mix, firstly, some local market conditions: research has shown that there are significant socio cultural, economic and political differences, and that consumer needs differ from France. This would therefore favor an adaptation of the marketing mix.

Secondly, the presence of some local competitors would also favor an adaptation in order to compete. French cakes have identified both local and global competitors on the market. Therefore, some adaptation is recommended for parts of this target group. Thirdly, if legal conditions were very different to the home market, this would speak in favor of adaptation. Currently, many laws are the same due to both countries.

Membership of the you, however, due to brexit this might change in the future. If French cakes product was a service or carried large elements of service, this would indicate a move towards adaptation due to local staff being involved in producing the service like it would have been the case with, for example, a hair salon. However, French cakes offering is focused on a physical product, namely the cakes and desserts.

In summary, we have suggested that some elements of the marketing mix, namely place and promotion, would be suitable for a degree of standardization in order to compete with international competitors and adjust to the large restaurant chains purchasing processes. We have suggested that French cake standardized their sales processes. An option would be to standardize their key account management function and to standardize some data collection processes.

This way they will have the possibility of gaining close relationships with the distributors, enabling them to respond faster to market trends. We also uncovered a great need for adaptation, since French cakes also choose to distribute through smaller and independent restaurants and catering businesses, we suggest that they adapt their approach to these in order to compete with local competition. We also suggest an adaptation of the actual products.

The cakes and desserts due to social, cultural and economic differences, both the products, price levels and promotional activities should be adapted to suit the local market needs in cooperation with French cakes. We would now move on to plan these standardizations and adaptations in much more detail, thereby providing them with a ready to launch marketing plan. However, such level of detail will not be carried out in this short introduction article.

In summary, we have now obtained an understanding of what it means to standardize or adapt an organization’s, global marketing mix and the connection to the rest of the internationalization process. And finally, we have gained knowledge of how an evaluation can be carried out. Would you like to learn more about standardization or adaptation of the global marketing mix, the internationalization process and global marketing in general, then I recommend that you read global marketing 7th edition by Sven Hollander.

If you would like to learn more about defining the marketing mix in general, then I recommend that you read my for introduction articles addressing each of the four piece of the marketing six. You will find these articles on my youtube blog, my name is Tina Wade. Thank you for reading

Sprout Social Review (Social Media Management Tool)

What does that mean? It’s a tool that will help you post your social media ahead of time, so you can schedule it post on several several different platforms and then forget about it and then till the next time. So that’s what a social media management tool is now this one. I’r going to show to you today I’ve been reviewing different ones, so, if you want to see all of them, you’re searching go to my playlist, I have a link below.

I also have a link down there for sprout social. The one I’m showing you today in case this is something you want to dig in deeper too, but I’m just going to do a basic review to tell you what it offers, and maybe this is something that you’re looking for. It’ll, save you a little bit of time, so, let’s dig in my name is Vanessa de boules and I have a blog called affiliate marketing mastery where I teach you how to earn a passive income.

However, I also teach you on my blog different things like email, marketing, social media management platforms and tools, different funnels that you can use so all the different tools you can use to build a business. So, if you’re not doing affiliate marketing, it’s okay, because there’s lots of information that will apply to your business and I post every single day – and I guarantee you most of my articles – will be roughly 10 minutes give or take.

I try not to stay here too long, because I do value your time alright. So let’s look at this real quick now do know. In a nutshell, this one seems a little bit more advanced than the others that I’ve looked at. However, if you here’s my thing, we’re going to look at it and then we’ll talk about the cost and why you would want this one or why you wouldn’t? Okay, I’m not going to lie to you. If you’re brand spanking new, you might think well shoot.

I don’t want that, but there are certain people who are new. That would want this, so the world will talk about that in a minute, but it is kind of like an all-in-one box, the one-stop shop. It not only helps you post your social media posts on different platforms, but it also helps you to analyze a lot of different things like your engaged and who’s who’s. Following you, who’s reading you and all these different analytics, which I think, if you’re really big into the social media platform, this really does a lot.

Now, if you’re just looking for something to schedule your posts and you’re not really into the social aspect or engagement part, then this one probably isn’t for you. So I’m not going to you know. I just want to point that out. So you see some of the different things that are like I said Henery to either. Here is a snapshot of some of the em of posting. What I love about this one, any one of the social media platforms that I show you will have a way for you to put your post into a calendar and it’s very visual.

I love that, but what I love about this is, it will tell you hey, you can take the same post and put it on three or four different places and we’re going to show you where that post is that’s what I love about this I have been Using I basically used a social media planner just to post, because in my marketing I’m more into the search based marketing, where I do more into keywords and things like that.

I’r not really out trying to throw ads and things in front of people as much as I want them to search for me. So there’s two different kinds of marketing, but this I love the one that I’m using is post planner and it just basically I can go into the calendar and put them in, but it doesn’t show me like hey the same post is in three different places. I really like this feature, because you can see it, you can see where you’ve posted them and you can use the same content in different places, so that is a plus in my ice now, the next one.

I wanted you to see here that you in the analytics that you can look at your audience, demographics and that’s really important if you’re on Instagram Facebook, all these different places, where you’re trying to target a certain audience and a lot of times when we’re in business. We target a certain audience and then, as you go along for several months, you might start getting these analytics and you’ll go wow.

I was targeting females 20 to 35 and iPhone that females from 35 to 50 are following me. So you know, then you can rethink your messaging and stuff because for some reason, you’ve attracted a different crowd and that’s going to happen. That’s why just a tip when you’re asked to pick your market go ahead and pick one and don’t overthink it and talk to that audience and then start looking at your analytics and sometimes you might have to tweak things.

I know I spent a lot of time with that and really I it made me really frustrated and when analytics started coming in I’m like oh okay, this is where I need to be talking or targeting all right. So that’s just an example. Here’s another snapshot of your followers, so you can see that 52 % of this one is male, 48 % is female, which is got a 50/50, but you see your Twitter stats, the different things and then your daily engagement.

Remember you want it if you’re really into the social engagement part, you can track that. Did this post really get people to engage, because that’s what I’m looking for and that’s what I want to track and it’s right here sprout social will track that for you. Let’s talk about some of the pros and cons before we do that, though, I want to bring up the pricing because I told you it was pricey, so I want you to see it and again don’t let this turn you off again.

I don’t use it because I’m not into the social engagement part, but you do get a 30-day free trial go in and try it out and and and and play with it now the standard one you can already look at the prices is $ 99 a month In like wow, that’s a lot, but if you are brand new and you’re already rocking it on Instagram or Facebook and you’ve got thousands of followers and you love to engage and you’re just that person then go for it you this plot.

This program would probably be good for you you’re already doing that social media part. Now you just have to find a way to schedule and then add that element. If you are looking to start a business where you might have other people coming in. Maybe your your helping other people, their social media platform, then you would want to look at the professional account or maybe you have a virtual assistant coming in to help.

You know I’ve talked about this before, but not everybody sees every article. So if you follow every single article, I apologize for being repetitive, but you can start a business where you will post for other people and they pay you to do that. And then you would absolutely want one of these bigger memberships so that you can handle everything. But here’s the biggest thing on a standard to professional.

You can only do five social profiles and over unprofessional you can post on ten at a time. So again, if you’re brand new, you probably are not on five platforms right now. You hopefully have learned that you should be focusing on one and really growing it, and once you are in them the move that you know the groove of posting on it all the time you’ve got it going. You’ve got a good following then you add another one.

I know that you see all these gurus out there and they’re all over the place, one. They probably have people helping them and two they weren’t all over the place in the beginning, so just focus on one and again I’ve got postplanner down there. It’s I think it’s like three dollars a month. It’s really cheap, that’s you know and it’ll. You know. I think you can get on three platforms. Three to five.

I can’t remember right off the top of my head, but and you go in and you can post and that helps you get it started if you get really big into the social media things. I definitely would would suggest this one again, I’m not an affiliate on this. I’r just trying to give you some information to help. You make some good decisions in your business all right. So, that’s that, in a nutshell, try out the 30 day free trial go in there and play with it you’re going to learn more from actually doing it than listening to me and that’s why I don’t typically like to do tutorials, because these programs all have tutorials And you can fly around and look in directions that you need to go and not just follow where I think you need to go if that makes sense.

Alright. So let’s look at the pros and the cons. Okay of this is it this preference, some of the pros it’s gorgeous, it’s very pretty, and some people like that, it’s much more attractive than some of the others. It’s very the layout is really nice. It’s very easy to look at easy to work with. So it’s not, maybe we could say it could be social media management for dummies right. It’s very, very easy.

They do have excellent from support tech, support and customer support. So that’s important, especially if you’re new and you’re, not real techie, and it’s headache free you can. You can go on to this platform and figure it out and it’s not real stressful and I know especially if you’re, not real techie, that can be so stressful if you’re trying to figure something out – and you just want to cry sometimes and with the support and The flow and how easy it is to use with this platform you’re getting your money’s worth if that’s important to you now, let’s look at some of the cons.

Of course, I one of the cons definitely would be that it is pricier. I didn’t list that, but it is pricier, but in my opinion you get what you pay for it like anything else. If you pay low prices, you’ll get less services, you pay higher, you get more! So that’s just the way it is, but from here I have done a review of buffer and sprout social is not as advanced as buffer with the scheduler. So you again want to go into each of them and see now you might get on this one and say you know what this is advanced enough.

I don’t need anything more advanced, so don’t need to be on buffer. At that point, you might want to start comparing prices. Facebook, as of this article, has not allowed people to like your content could be fixed by the time this gets out. So Facebook is always changing their rules. So again, there may be other things that they don’t allow as we go forward alright, so that is it for today and don’t forget to hit the sprout social link below again, I’m not an affiliate for that hit the link and go in and try there 30-day Free trial, they do not have a free account, so if you’re looking for free forever, then don’t even take your time to look because you already know going in that.

It’s about a hundred dollars a month. If that just scares you and you you don’t want to do it, then don’t look at it. Go look at some of the other ones that I’ve listed. So I’m going to also put down below my playlists for social media media management tools. There’s other articles in there that you can look at and I also am offering you a guide to earning income online if you’re looking at this and you’re like you know, I want to make money online, I don’t know where to begin.

I have a free guide. You can click that and look at that as well, and that’s all I got for you today. So of course, don’t forget to subscribe, give me a thumbs up and all that crap, but um I put articles out every day and, like I said, keep them. You know in that window of 10 minutes so that and value your time. So you know if you have any questions asked and I can create articles based on your needs.

This is for you, it’s not for me. So definitely put your comments below. Let me know what you’re thinking, let me know what you need. Alright till I see you on the next article. Thank you for reading

How to Make Money as an UNPUBLISHED Writer | Side Hustle Ideas

Why a fairy fantasy novel and today I’m going to be sharing with you at the top three ways. I make an income to support my writing as an unpublished author and how you can, because of these side, hustle ideas that I’m about to share with you. I was able to step down from my day job back in August and become a full time writer currently making enough to supplement my husband’s income.

So I can work from home doing the things I love. If you want to hear more about my personal journey of how I became a full time writer in one year, I will link that article below and in the cards, but by the end of this article you will have a bunch of ideas about how you can Start making money as a writer whether you are currently unpublished like me, or if you’ve been looking for ways to supplement what you’ve been making from selling your books and if you find these ideas inspiring but you’d like more personal help from me about how to turn Your idea into a successful hustle definitely check out my patreon page as I love to help my patrons figure out, which idea is best for them and give them tips about how to create and market their write early income venture.

Now, if you’re excited to hear about these three side, hustle ideas go ahead and hit the like button on this article and let’s get into the tips. Firstly, what I’m not going to be talking about is selling novels, because chances are you’re reading this article, because you are working on something that is not ready to publish yet or you’re, making some money in selling your novels, but you’re not making the kind of money You hoped I’m also not going to tell you to go out and find an unrelated day, job, part-time or otherwise to support your writing, although this may be the best option to start out with, as you’re building your side business to eventually replace that income, the writers, I want to talk to today are the ones that want to create a side hustle that has to do with their writing, something that works hand in hand with it and builds their author platform, their influence, their readership, all at the same time and results in side Income now, but also helps sell their books more in the future.

If this describes you here are the top three ideas that I have successfully done myself. My first idea is to create a service or product for other writers or readers. When you go to start this kind of side business, the first things you want to ask yourself our what skills do I have and who would be my clientele? Well, if you’re, a writer, one of your skills is obviously writing and your target audience or clientele could be other writers once you’ve figured out your clientele.

The next questions you want to ask yourself are: what does my audience need or want most, and how can I use the skills I already have to help fill that need for me, I pulled my followers, my subscribers and any other writers. I knew and asked them what they struggled with most in their writer life. Then I took inventory of what my skills were and tried to find creative ways in which I could use those skills to help my target audience.

So I started out creating some free products for writers, like my series, Bible templates, that you can still get by signing up for my newsletter. But if you have any kind of templates or workbook, you think would be helpful to writers. You could just as easily sell that product, like many writers have, including my friend, Rebecca Kay Sampson. You create this product once, especially if it’s digital and then all you have to do is market it to your audience, offering discounts from time to time, sharing testimonials of people that have loved your product and suddenly you have income coming in.

The other option here is creating a service. For example, when I created my author website, I realized very quickly that my skill for creating websites was something that many other authors didn’t have. I also couldn’t find many others that specialized in making websites specifically for writers. So I also knew I wouldn’t have much competition. So after doing a bit more digging into what specific struggles my audience had with creating their author websites, I actually ended up coming up with three different services.

Either I could create a website for someone. I could teach them how to create it themselves through an online course or if they already had a website, but they didn’t love it or their things that they wanted to improve about it. I could offer a console call where I could give them tips about how to do just that. These offerings have been the bedrock of my income so far and since my clients love what I do and can’t wait to tell their friends, I barely have to market myself anymore, because I constantly have requests coming in.

I love the service option. Two because I get to know other writers network with them and help them along on their writing journey. To give you a few more examples, I know that my friend Mandy Lynn, has created the course author Tube Academy for those that want to their author, Tube blog and she also designs book covers. While my friend Beth Nia Quezada, has created book trailers for writers as well, I’ve also seen others offering editing and critique services like battaglia Lee or author coach services, like my friend Jade yung.

If you’d, like help figuring out what you’d like to offer and also creating a page where people can pay you for your services or products again, I definitely encourage you to join me on patreon and I would love to help you out. My second idea is to create an author, Tube blog for growing your author platform and influence. Creating an author youtube or author Tube blog, like I have, is a no-brainer sharing about my author journey and teaching others.

What I’m learning in the process here on YouTube has definitely been the number one thing that has launched and grown my author platform immensely. But did you know you could also make money as a youtuber? It’s definitely a long game. It takes a ton of time and endurance. Basically, you need at least a thousand subscribers, and at least four thousand hours of read time in a 12-month period to even be considered for YouTube’s partner program.

But after you are accepted into the program, YouTube will allow you to put ads either before, after or during your article, which brings in money for YouTube and allows YouTube to pay you if you make it to this point, not only have you massively grown your author Platform and potential readership, but you now have a library of articles in each article. You worked really hard to create once, but each one is now continually making you passive income, because those articles continue to get found and readed and YouTube is paying you for it again.

This option won’t work for everyone, and it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. You really have to love doing it for a long time before you can get paid, but if you really enjoy it, it’s well worth it plus you get to be supported by your audience without them having to pay you a dime, they read and enjoy YouTube pays You just as a gauge I was able to reach a thousand subscribers in about eight months time and I’m super close to reaching 4,000 hours.

So I’m really hoping that I can start monetizing soon, but just so you know it does work. I do have a different YouTube blog unrelated to writing that I’ve grown to over thirteen thousand subscribers and I’ve been getting paid by YouTube for that blog for almost a year now – and it’s been pretty great – my income from YouTube definitely four months a month, but it Definitely makes it done and for those of you that want to start making money sooner rather than later, you could also still make money off your other Tube articles, if you’re using YouTube in a strategic way.

For instance, if you’ve created a product or service, you could use your author Tube blog in part to be advertising or talking about those products or services which could result in more people going to purchase whatever you’ve offered doing. This has definitely helped me, find more website clients for sure, or you could also check out affiliate programs like Amazon, affiliates or eventually get some of your articles sponsored by writerly related companies.

I don’t have time to talk about all these options in this article, but if you join us over on patreon, this is definitely something we could discuss further in either case. If you have an author, Tube blog or just starting one, I definitely suggest checking out my top ten tips, article for how to grow your author, tube blog, which I’ll link below and in the cards, and if you become a patron, I would love to help.

Give you tips and personal suggestions for your author, Tube blog and speaking of patreon. My third idea, surprise. Surprise, is to create a patreon page patreon.Com/lenguin. So if you’d like to see an example and the article I made all about it, you can check out the link that I’ve put in the description below. But I think my favorite thing about this platform is that you really get to know your fans or patrons at a much more personal level, and as long as they continue to be patrons month after month, you suddenly have a pretty dependable monthly income, which the previous Two options: I’ve told you about in this article have a harder time providing.

So I’m really curious, which of these options? Are you going to try or have you tried already got any other ideas you think we should know about? I would love to chat about all that in the comments below and again, if you’d, like some personal mentorship from me in any of these areas, I hope to see you in the patreon group soon, if you want to take advantage of more of the free content, I have here on my blog I’ve linked some of my favorite playlist down below and if you haven’t already, we make sure you hit that subscribe button and the Bell.

So you don’t miss anything new, much luck with all of your right early side, hustle adventures and until next week. Happy writing.

HOW TO BRAND YOURSELF ON YOUTUBE AS A BEGINNER // YouTube Marketing SECRETS

If this is your first time here, my name is Cortney, and today we’re going to be talking all about branding yourself on YouTube, specifically, if you’re a beginner we’re going to be talking about the steps you should take from a marketing perspective, but also from a perspective Of someone who’s actually going through it aka me recently. I’ve been going through a rebranding process on my blog, and I want to be super transparent with you guys and show you the steps that I’m taking in order to portray this new brand image that I’m going forward and just take you along for the ride, because Sometimes it’s a lot more beneficial to read somebody do it themselves, rather than just being told what to do so.

I hope you guys, like this article, give it a thumbs up if you like this kind of content and let’s just get on into this article. So in marketing we talk about the five dimensions and brand personality, and this is really just how you’re going to bring across your message. So, for example, if you’re wanting to start a YouTube blog, your brand personality is going to be how you present yourself present your message present your articles so pause the article and take a look at this chart.

This is the five dimensions of brand personality and pick one to two that are going to be how you present yourself on your blog. You may naturally somehow be all five of these, but seriously just try to narrow down to one or two. I try to position myself as sincerity and excitement, because those just naturally go along with my personality and the person that I’m trying to reach on the other side of the camera, which is what we’ll talk about in a little bit.

So for the sincerity component of my brand personality, I’m cheerful and friendly – I’m optimistic and positive, but on the other hand, I’m also portraying excitement because I’m very adventurous, independent daring. I love to travel. That kind of thing so having a brand personality will really help. You create consistency across all of your social media blogs, with the tone of voice that you’re portraying it in.

So this needs to come before you pick out your brand colors, your fonts and all of that fun stuff, because you want to know exactly how you’re going to position yourself in the minds of your target audience. So the positioning in your target audience it just kind of means like what they think about you. So, for example, when I think of lavend deer on YouTube, I think of pastel pink, I think of bright and airy colors relaxing tone of voice beautiful imagery.

I think of productivity and intentional living and that might be unintentional on her part, even though it probably isn’t, but that’s just how a viewer of her is perceiving the things that she’s presenting so really think about how you want people to remember you. You also want to make sure that your brand is crystal clear, so a lot of times when people start their YouTube blog, they realize how multifaceted they are and they don’t really want to settle down into just one niche.

That can be really scary. For someone trust me, I know it can be really scary to narrow yourself down, especially when you’re just starting out, because you don’t really know where you want to go with YouTube, and not only that. I can feel like it’s really difficult to narrow down a niche or find a niche when you don’t really feel like you’re an expert at anything. So a lot of people tend to just go the lifestyle route, and that is really going to hinder your growth on YouTube.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QF55ewZQaqQ

You really want to dive down into a niche. Take it from me. I completely understand how difficult it can be and if you’re not an expert at anything, people love reading the process of learning things. So, even if you have a passion for something – and you think that could be your niche, though you’re not an expert at it, be sure to be transparent with your viewers and let them know that you’re not an expert and that you’re learning and they can learn With you – and I think that that’s one of the most valuable things to read as a subscriber, because you are also learning from them as they learn and you end up feeling more connected to them in that way.

The reason why you truly want to niche down, especially when you’re smaller, is because, when a article does pick up and goes viral or it ends up on the home page of YouTube and people, click on that article – they love it. They love your vibe. They go to your blog and all of your articles are the same topic they’re going to subscribe to you because they know what they can get from you. But if you make a article – and it goes viral and people go to your blog after reading it, they love it.

They want to subscribe to you, but they don’t know what they can expect from you, because it doesn’t match the rest of your content. That has happened to me a lot, unfortunately, so this is why I’m telling you like, please take my advice. Do that try to niche down if you can, when I first started, one of the first articles I uploaded was bleaching my hair blonde. It picked up on YouTube and I didn’t get a lot of subscribers because it was one of the first articles I had, and people didn’t really know if I was going to be making more content.

So eventually I ended up making more hair articles because people loved that and believe it or not. I don’t like to do my hair that much especially when I know I’m doing it for a article, so I have a lot of hair articles that ended up doing really really well. But a lot of people didn’t subscribe to me because I wasn’t making solely hair content on my blog. If I had of, I think I would have grown a lot more so here you can see this article, how to dye your hair platinum blonde.

One of my first articles, it has eight hundred and thirty-four thousand views, but when you go to the analytics you can see when you click on the lifespan of the article. I only gained two thousand six hundred subscribers over that time from eight hundred and thirty. Four thousand views, that’s so bad. The same thing goes for this article: how to dye your hair, copper, slash, ginger. It has two hundred and eighty two thousand views and over the lifespan of this article I have only gained eight hundred and eighty nine subscribers, and here is the reason why the thing is people need to know what they can expect from you within three seconds of Looking at your YouTube blog, if you’re an all over the place kind of person like myself, I understand it can be hard.

But when you’re starting out on YouTube, also know that you have a lot of room to experiment, especially when you have the 1000 to 5000. Subscriber range play around with your content, but once you find something that you’re good at and you like, creating content about, stick to it, stick to it for like a year and create articles solely for that topic and just see if you grow and see. If you end up creating a really engaged audience, because you positioned yourself as an expert in that niche, now we’re going to talk about creating your true fan, if you’re creating content for everyone, you are doing it wrong.

Like myself, I was doing that I was creating content for everyone and that’s typically what I believe, as the lifestyle niche or trying to reach really wide for a certain audience when you could be going super deep and creating really valuable connections with your audience. So when you’re creating content, it’s so so so helpful to have this audience persona. This true fan in mind when you’re filming that’ll help you not only deliver your content better but tell you how to brand yourself and knowing that when you’re creating your brand and your brand image is going to be so helpful.

I feel like it’s the number one thing you should understand when you’re creating YouTube articles. So whenever I film articles, I have my true fan right here. I have their personality, their aspirations, their pain, points, somehow they’re, all wearing hats and bohemian clothing. I don’t know I just grabbed what I could on canva, but I really do recommend having a true fan kit like that around you, when you’re filming you could hang it up behind your camera, just so that you can see it so you’re really talking to that Person you do want to create this imaginary person.

Ask yourself certain questions like what do they aspire to be? What is their daily routine? What do they wear? What do they look like? Where do they live? How old are they? What is their gender? What are their hobbies? What does holding them back in life? What could they do if they had the resources to do it? What is their greatest fear? Did they go to college? What did they study different things like that? You really want to get this person down to a tee and then every single time you sit down to make a article.

You would talk to that person. You talk to your true fan because, if you’re talking to everyone, you’re not really providing value at that point because you’re trying to appease to everyone, you want a super engaged audience and if people think and feel that you are talking to them, that is going to Help you so much in the long run so earlier I mentioned what do you want to be remembered for when I was talking about positioning your brand in the mind of your audience, but now we’re talking about the more creative things like when I said I envisioned Lavender to have bright, airy, colors very last five with her editing.

That’s what I’m talking about with! What do you want your audience to remember your articles by so you’re going to want to create some sort of consistency in your imagery across your YouTube blog, even onto your Instagram, if possible, or your other social media blogs? This is pretty fun. You can do it through your editing style on YouTube through the colors that you use the fonts that you use the presets that you use all of those really contribute to your brand image.

The reason it’s so important is because when people are scrolling through their subscription feed on YouTube, they might not even see your name and they probably won’t, but as they’re scrolling, if they see those images – and they see those colors they’re instantly going to associate that with You – and that is what you want, because they don’t even have to see your name to know that that’s a article from you now, some of those are going to take a little bit more trial and error to figure out, specifically your editing style.

That’s something! I’r straight-up going to tell you I’m still working on, because my brand personality is sincerity and excitement. I do find it a little hard to have my personality show through my editing, because sometimes I’ll have like really funny graphics pop up, because that’s how I’m feeling, when I’m editing other times, I feel like adding like some soft vintage II fonts, and it’s just you.

Never know what you’re going to get and I feel like that might be my editing style. You just don’t know what you’re going to get, but it might take longer for you to come up with your editing style, because first, you have to learn how to edit and that can take a while in and of itself, then you got to play around with Different transitions and titles and graphics and just see what you end up liking.

What your audience likes so don’t feel like stress that you have to figure that out right away and remember when I said it is good to experiment, especially if you are micro, influencer. A little I can’t even say that, especially if you are a micro influencer like myself or even if you’re a nano influencer, it is the perfect time to experiment when you are on the smaller side. So you’re going to want to start by picking four to five colors that you want to represent yourself to be your brand image.

I I recommend using canva. I have the trial, the free trial of it right now. So I don’t know if the brand kit is a part of the free version, but it is with the paid at least and the free trial. So I’ll show you my brand kit right now here you can see. I have way more than 4 to 5 colors, but also not really because I have different gradients of the same color that I use on my thumbnails. I have four shades of a muted pink.

I have three shades of beige three shades of brown and I have a white any black and then for the accent color. I have this dark green color that I have never even used. But if I did want an accent, color, that’s what it would be. Then you can see it. The fonts that I use. I always use League Spartan or B bas new both are free and really great fonts to use on thumbnails because they’re bold, they stand out when you create thumbnails, you do want to minimize it to about 30 %, because when people are on YouTube, they see this Tiny tiny little thumbnail and you want to make sure that it’s readable when it’s small.

So I would definitely not use cursive fonts at all, because it’s going to be very, very difficult for people to read when it is that small, also from a marketing perspective. Different fonts portray different messages, so sans-serif fonts they typically give off a neutral message, so it’s not going to sway any viewer in any direction. They’re just going to see it and not feel any type of way about it.

But if you use a serif font, typically that means like sophistication intelligence power. Like think of Vogue, I think very high, like high class, when I see that logo so just know that they do give off different messages, so understand what you want to give off to your subscriber or potential subscribers. A lot does go into your branding and your brand personality, so I’m just throwing this all at you take notes.

The last thing we’re going to talk about is your own image. Your background. I have struggled with this so much. You guys have seen this. If you are subscribe to my blog, your background is your chance to really grab your subscribers. They are reading your articles from about six to thirty minutes. You want to create an engaging connection with right off the bat and, if they’re not feeling like that engaged to you, they might see something in your background that they really, like your background, really should give off some information about the types of articles that you’re creating Or the type of person that you are the type of person that you’re trying to reach so I’ve mentioned this struggle a lot on my blog before I live in an old house.

My walls are plaster. So it’s really hard for me to stick nails in here. I’ve just had tapestries hanging up. I can’t really hang up any picture frames by myself. It’s just really been a struggle so this past week I really went for and tried to create my own background. It’s not done yet, but, for example, this I made this a long time ago and that in my mind, connecting to my true fan. It has like that bohemian vibe to it, but also in this moment I’m talking about more marketing and branding and YouTube content.

And so you know my microphone, I have my laptop in the background. Like I said on so this is not me like. I have a perfect background because I do not, but I also have some crystals back here, because you guys know my subscribers know. I love crystals, I’m very like spiritual, so I have some spiritual books right here that you can’t really see but they’re there. So those are like little nuggets of information about my personality for potential subscribers um.

If you’re someone who loves Harry Potter, having like a Hedwig, stuffed animal in your background, might really grab people’s attention. Another thing, you probably don’t really think about weighing that you’re, creating your content or you’re thinking about branding he’s. Actually the clothes that you wear. It should stay in line with your branding, and your brand personality doesn’t necessarily have to match your colors, but it should kind of match your vibe and your true fan.

So, for example, if your brand persona is more minimal and clean, I can imagine them wearing like a lot of j.Crew clothes. But Ana Republic, like like more neutral tone items that look a little bit more professional, but it depends for your true fan, is at the end of the day, but if you’re like very bright and bubbly – and you have a lot of humor involved on your blog, I can imagine a lot of bright colored clothing, some fun and funky clothing.

Again, it depends on what your brand is and who your true fan is at the end of day. So thank you guys so much for reading this article. I really hope you liked it and it found it valuable in any way. So let me know in the comments what your brand persona is, how you’re going to be portraying that in future articles or how you have been portraying that, in your current articles, give this a thumbs up.

If you liked it and subscribe to my blog for more bye,
