I feel like being on social media, equals being consistent with posting being diligent. Now, how do you become diligent without breaking the bank? There’s a lot of journals and trust me. I’ve used them all, literally there’s one of them that I’m really confident about it’s.
My sticky note system. It doesn’t look that fun every single article, it’s kind of in the background, and people want to know what it is. How I used sticky notes to his schedule. My life, I really can’t breathe. So that’s what we’re getting into today and it’s one of my prized possessions. I’ve been you literally using it since I was 5 years old, so I had my parents. This is kind of like a secret sauce.
I hope you guys enjoy and thank you so much for everyone – who’s been requesting this article like crazy. This is how to be productive with sticky notes. I feel like the hardest thing to do, isn’t to execute or cut already, as I feel like we’re all super creative people. As you know, instagramers or youtubers, the hardest thing is to get started. Getting those idea of paper and executing is a whole different story than thinking about it.
I feel like we spent so much time thinking and contemplating and comment below you can relate, but we always think about the best ideas, but we’d get stuck with. Actually, the steps to do it, or maybe you have the reverse problem where you don’t know how to organize it, because you have way too many ideas and you feel super confident, but you don’t know where to go. This problem is really interests to me.
I’m going to basically walk you through how I get productive. I have my Ford. Oh, this is not a commercial sorry. I got caught up in a song all right guys. All you need for today’s article is some sticky notes, different sizes and colors, and a pin. Okay guys, so this is the basic overview. We got the sticky notes and all you really do that a basic idea before I dive into more detail. Is you have this sticky notes idea as you stick them on you, take them off when you’re done and I have a two-month spread on your window.
So when you look up, you have your goals right above you now. I’m lesson I know this is nothing too fancy. Okay, I don’t know why people were asking like it was some sorcery, it’s really not, but what I really do. I will kind of walk you through the process. This is not supposed to be fancy. This actually costs. You $ 5.00 to complete this entire thing. All my supplies are from like Amazon or some things.
That’s super cheap guys, basically, the potatoes store. So I literally have not one not two three different journals. I have to explain why use journals and sticky notes. I feel like it’s important also why I use an iPhone kind of planner as well. So let me go into when you’re creating ideas for article ideas. Let your talk about YouTube and Instagram when you’re thinking about content, when you work on a digital platform, maybe like it’s a calendar app, I feel like when you have the digital place, when you create ideas that stops your ideas and creativity from flowing.
What I mean is when we have stuff where you’re typing it kind of gives us more incentive to also hit the backspace. When you had the Delete key, you tend to also delete other ideas that flow. So when you use traditional, you know pencil and paper the gold old friends I feel, like your ideas, are so much more creative. It’s bigger your dreams are better. My biggest tip ever it was weird enough. Is a lot of people they’ll give themselves enough room to dream? You can’t dream on your Apple notes and I don’t know about you, but I really can’t dream when I have like this.
Like nice, ass journals, I don’t really have the luxury to use. They don’t know dirt and a stick, but I do use sticky notes and don’t my wall and I don’t want to get in trouble from the rent. So I have to put a piece of paper, but you can typically even just write on the walls. I would be as primary and barbaric as poss is. Our big word mean, as I use a computer to kind of execute my ideas. I use paper and sticky notes and pencil to generate ideas to brainstorm.
This is the secret sauce to everything I do we’re going to dive right into the sticky notes. If you want to see the process, I guess you can keep reading. I don’t know why you’re here other than that yeah, that’s basically my people Alyssa. Do you want to see what’s not basic look at my dad’s room, ah there’s so many sticky notes tell me why oh boy he’s going to be on a article recording. Oh tell me: why there’s so many sticky notes and how do I really do? I don’t think I’m doing it right so the way I do it, this is kind of my week.
What I do it this week. This is part of my journey. Show me how many big item halves, but this is kind of tell me this is Sunday Monday Tuesday. If I I’m behind schedule, I can move it up. That’s what I like about sticking up. This is all developers they’re working for me to a manage their your cycle. This is more like sales related, so it’s going to set up all those things. If I hit the target or not a project management product management, this is more like a business site.
Very internal project: this is running client relationship, your own personal. What’s this, it took close this my customer projects. This is a we called war room, so it’s easier for me to step back and look at idea. So the goal this is coming from a book called how to steal, like an artist, definitely a book to read so what this is, what it called the analog lab. This is when, when things are really dirty, there’s a concept call to create a load of see unit of my um.
You know it does have to be pretty don’t post it on an Internet, see ya guys. I completely up my post at all. This is not supposed to done this way. I feel like I’m doing it, this super or a big way, but hey. I feel, like I’m official, obviously to subscribe to my dad he’s a real going to go, revise my see now that I’m looking at it. It’s not supposed to look like that. I don’t so I’m going to revise my entire article.

This is for April. That’s man! The idea is you have these smaller ones, which are article ideas or this case post. So each thing is a YouTube article. So my favorite part about this entire thing is, if you don’t complete it as long as you started it, you can always move it to the main calendar.
So that’s the best part. So what I did is on the top. I have the article structured category, for example. These are how to’s I want to make sorry, I burped. So if you guys can see the top part is like the header, and then these are the actual articles. For each day I wrote now in the middle. Is all the ideas that I didn’t get to put down, but there again this is part of the brainstorming you’re able to move it around, which is the best part.
The fact that you can literally physically move your goals from one place to another. Better time is the best part they put a bigger long-term stuff. I have a couple sales very honest, I’m going to show you kind of my insight onto my income, so this is for April and I would think I wrote down 1.5 K $ 500 and 1k in total for, like this coaching call – and I even wrote down Mindful favorite reminder lately must be willing to fail.
There’s no point to protect your chances and to be scared. You just got ta start. If you look stupid, you feel so what that’s the life you chose, you didn’t choose a job. You chose entrepreneurship, don’t get that mixed up. Okay, I’m really proud of this. Now so that’s my sticky note article each small little sticky note represents a smaller idea or article, and each larger pieces of notepad is like the checklist to get there.
It’s like the outcome. It’s like a bigger goal-setting kind of like income sales. Maybe your old self growth in mindset evader once you’re done, then you can put it onto your Apple note. So I put everything on to Apple notes, so I can kind of keep it on the go. That’s like the only thing when I’m traveling, I love to keep it back on my computers. Writing it on pen and paper and gives you more fully way to brainstorm.
Kinda go into the computer, helps you to execute and actually complete those things. She is a super super successful blogger who is totally killing it. She makes six figures, seven figures blogging and she does all very niche and she’s super super niche. She does only cry cricket cricket, crass um, she’s, a Jennifer maker calm, and she just shows how to do anything on the cricket. Look how cute that rainbow is how to personalize your cues with iron on vinyl, and so I would say of everybody that I know that she is absolutely the most Nietzsche person.
Okay, so now we have spaceships and laser beams. This is more of a general niche blog. This is from my internet friend Stephanie and she does. She started with party ideas, games things baby showers and then she decided that she was going to branch into food, so it doesn’t mean if you start one way and we’re going to talk about that a little bit with my blog in a little bit. It doesn’t mean if you start one way, that you can’t go and have other niches after that, but you want to pick something that you really enjoy we’re going to talk about that a lot more.
I wanted to show you a few of the different sites. First, okay, so this is hilarious. I love Jen she’s, another internet friend, she’s, primarily a food, blogger, okay, and what she does is recipes. But then she has this whole group of things um. What does she call it? She she melts stuff. So if she melts crayons, she does real well, she has a blog post about melting um, the little hard candies chocolate chip cookies, anything shed, she’s hilarious.
She says if she could melt it, she can get traffic to it, so hers is mostly recipes right. So this is a functionally a food blog. I’m going to close these as I go, so that so that I don’t samandar nettle, no faster okay. So this is a friend friend in real life. This is Lena and she does make money. So how did you extra income she’s a ton of free printables which drive a lot of traffic and the funny thing for her? Is I mean they’re, not fancy free, printables they’re, just like how to print a rainbow, and you can see somebody printing this out and sticking it to their window, while everybody’s sticking things to their windows.
So this is super easy she’s. She doesn’t make it hard. She also has a little section on how to start a blog, so you can use that on you’ll see a lot of the mom bloggers do that this is a gal. I love this is Carly and she does um like work from home. How to give yourself an hour now the funny thing about Carly. This is where we’re going to be thinking about things. She started with pregnancy, birth and labor and breastfeeding when she was a sorry about that when she was a new mom and that was all her site was about, that is the stuff she gets the most traffic for and now she’s like okay, I don’t have babies Anymore um, so now she wants to branch into other things, those aren’t as popular right away, but eventually they could become more popular, but she isn’t um.
She isn’t just abandoning what she did before. She still occasionally writes about that, but she’s segwaying into something different. Okay. Next, Oh Living Well spending less this, this lady um. She her name is Ruth. She does really well. She started her blog because she had to learn to save money and she’s a financial blogger. So when we’re going to talk about niches or Nisha’s, however, you want to say it um, you can do a niche out of anything like hers is a money-saving blog how to eat, how to eat well on them.
On a budget pantry staples, simple changes: you can make to save money, so hers is all about not Finance necessarily but personal finance more on a smaller level, brilliant business moms, this lady toad. I love her Beth Ann um. She is uh. She was kind of about how to make money, but I kind of segwayed kind of focused her niche right into Facebook ads now, and she does a lot with that and she also has a podcast.
She interviews, people she has a planner. She does Instagram things like that, so her source, more business-related and I think, a lot of times when people think about having a niche they think. Oh, I have to be a mom blogger, but you can be a business blogger. You can do whatever you want now. This lady Gillian, she has a huge site like this – is the largest party site on the Internet. She started it with user-generated content and what that means is that the people who come to her blog are the ones that help give her ideas.
So these are other people taking pictures of their own party, and that gives her all of the content for her blog and she does very well on Pinterest we’re going to talk about how to market your blog. We’re going to talk a little bit about setting up your blog, I’m going to talk about lots of things over the next 30 days, but today we’re just talking about much, and so this is my I blog. This is my main blog and what’s what I’ve started with it? I want to talk to you about this a lot, because this is super important.
When I started, I wanted to do marketing for entrepreneurs, and I did not want to get niche down and then I was just coming off of my real estate career. So I had written a kind of blog post about how to my kids are homeschooling. Now so you’ll see those notifications how to be a realtor. How did you marketing as a realtor things like that? So that was my very first niche and it was an accidental lunch and then in so I started that in 2008 I was just trying to get business for my services business, so you can start a blog not to make money on traffic to your blog.
But you can start a blog to get service people, so I know that I see Pat was here. Okay Pat was here um. She has a financial services she’s a financial advisor things like that, so her blog is going to want to focus on ways for her customers to save money, to protect their investments, to do all those things, and now hers is a little bit more complicated because she Has to have hers, go through a compliance department, which is fine.
It’s going to take her a little bit longer to get started right because she’s going to write a post and then it has to go to compliance, but if she starts writing posts now, what will happen is they’re going to build up and she’s going to be Able to do it all of us have to start that way. I have like 800 blog posts. I started with one blog post, like everybody else is going to do, but when I started my Etsy that was in 2015, my traffic doubled, because I was very specific.
It’s a very specific niche for Etsy sellers and most of my traffic honestly comes both to Etsy or to real estate. I do get some for product photography and things like that, but a lot of my traffic comes to those two niches which that has really helped me alright. Last but not least, about picking a niche in my life. This is so interesting, and this is why you should just start um. I started this blog artsy fartsy life about two years ago, when my dog nipped a lady.
She said he bit her, which I guess is true, and so I was a little depressed and when I’m depressed I write so I started writing and I wrote about essential oils, because that I took a class about it and then I just started writing blog posts About how to use it for anxiety, how to use it for ADHD, how to do all those things, and then honestly I let it sit for about a year I wrote occasionally: oh, I wrote some posts about like how to dress yourself as a woman over 50.
I wrote some posts about who I wrote about our adoption story and it was truly a general blog and then my mom, who has dementia, moved in my mother-in-law and I started writing caregiver posts. And so these get the most traffic from Pinterest to my site and Pinterest is my highest traffic source, and so I I get the most traffic to these just far and away and that’s fine it. But it’s a little part of my site over here.
My family part, and then I decided I was going to take this seriously. I was going to take this website seriously and really try to grow it, and I had a friend saying well: why don’t you just make it a dementia site and for me that isn’t um, it’s really the stories that I hear and the questions people have they’re. Just so sad and that’s not something that, like I don’t mind them, I’m more than happy to answer any other questions, but I don’t want to build my whole fun site on something.
That’s just not that fun. So I decided to start doing crafts, which I started with journaling, okay, and so I do magazine journal pages and that’s fun. I get traffic to that and then finally, I wound up with adult crafts, where I kind of do, I would say well or so I do painted crafts, decoupage crafts things like that, and that’s what I like doing. I even have a project sitting over there that I’m going to be doing.
That should be super fun. But if you’d asked me the day that I started my blog, what I wanted it to be about, I would have said, maybe adoption, maybe essential oils. Maybe things like that, so what you need to do is – and this is the best way to do it you need to for a week or for today, if you want to stay open to 30 days, but for a period of time write down everything you like To do okay, so if I were to pick things I like to paint I like to cut up magazines, I like to sell on Etsy I like old things, so I have a vintage Etsy store, I’m a really cool creative sign over my head and an old Rodeo pointy guy, I like dogs, my dogs are here um, I like cats.
I, like I, don’t like cooking, so I would never have a blog where it was cooking based. I did think maybe I could do some cocktails because I do like cocktails, but I’m going to find out. I don’t like doing that either and that’s fine. What you’re going to do is. I would pick three things to start with. Okay, I know a lot of people say: Jennifer maker says pick one thing to start with, but for me, if I had picked one thing to start with and stayed with it first off, I wouldn’t have liked my blog as much because then I would have just Been stuck with essential oils, which I like essential oils, but not that much and I would have then maybe gone to dementia, and I don’t mind writing about that, especially when something comes up that I really think I could help other people with.
I don’t mind about that, but what my real left turns out to be is to make these crafts, and so you want your you want to have not a general blog everything. You know you don’t write about what you had for lunch. You don’t want to write about what your kids are doing. Nobody cares. You want to write about something specific that you can help other people with, but I don’t think you have to pick just one thing, especially if you’re just starting

My lighting is all messed up and I had to tear down my office, I’m sitting in a random room, so something it’s the move edition. I got it fantastic. Alright, as you join. What I would love for you to do is just go ahead and drop. Alright, mr. Tanner, the difference was to start here most people. You know online that they’re talking all about like you need to do sales leave. Do sales need to sales which sales is important. Don’t get me wrong if you don’t have sales, you’ve got no cash flow. If you have cash flow you’re on the company, but there’s a big difference between business development and sales, what’s the difference well, in my experience with business, development is really nurturing a client to not just be a sale, but to be a lifetime.
Member of your movement that you know they not just also buy or use your product, but they promote it to the world right because they’re so happy, and we develop that. That’s where you know this is where they get to know you. That’s where you get to like you, that’s where they get to love you and, as I call it this, you know it’s just that client practice the dating process in which you literally get them stoked and you’re serving their mission as to why they want to achieve Things and when you handhold them through the process, I call business development because you’re developing that relationship with them to achieve their goals, not your own.
I love it. I love it. So what you’re saying is really like. The differences between business development and sales is business. Development is an ongoing, is an ongoing relationship, building tool where sales often can be looked at very transactional yeah. Exactly that’s a thing. If you, you know it’s the customer lifetime value right. If you go in and they’re so stoked with what you refer to them, the first time they’re going to come back to you multiple different times, to tell you that there’s stuff going on in their business and you can make more money, call mailbox money.
What does mailbox money define is what do you do with the eighty percent of people you’re? Not four! So listen when you refer somebody and that person’s really really stoked, and they come back to you. Let’s just say that product isn’t for you or you don’t require that service. But what, if you have a board of directors that you can refer that business to and they send you a check? How do you make money with no right there? Not for you, you should surround yourself like this profit ology group.
Each people in this group has very specific interest in very specific skills that could multiply other clients that you already have and make money. Without that I love it. This is by the way that is your next book title. No one steal that that’s Tim Johnson’s, if you steal it, how to make money with no that’s to be what I already have. You are ok, our summit is the summit that Emerson, I are doing, is sell less make more summit, because one of the guys from Northwestern Mutual used to tell a story.
He was the number one sales guy in in the world and the history of that company and what he said that was very profound is that they asked him on stage. He says how did you become so good at sales? You said I stopped selling. I just looked for a business for 11, other friends, nice yeah. So now here’s the thing you know: there’s most people will do referrals, but don’t ask for the check the difference is I just learned how to literally do referrals and I’ll be showing something by the end of summer that literally on your phone, you can take the Phone hit the hit the partner hit, the lead and connect them, and it literally does it in 30 seconds sending a vCard and why it is so literally all you do is carry your phone around a networking event.
Ok, Kelly O’Neil here is the lead connect and then literally puts it on a Trello board for you to let you know that I refer to leave, that’s awesome. So let’s talk a little bit more about this. You know I ran something called the collaborate to accelerate intensive a while ago, and I talked with all of our students in the profit preneur circle, about the importance of collaborating and doing this type of business, and what you’ve really done is you take this a step Farther and you assemble a board of directors.
So let’s talk about what your board of directors looks like well like for branding. I use you for funding. I use Leo canal for merchant services, I use Ryan Fritsche for sales. I use Tom Chef and it just goes on coppy I use for a Mersenne and what I’ve done is there’s a tool called fix. Your funnel so literally, all I have to do is if I you just have somebody text the word branding or I can use the app that I have, that literally connects them.
Now, when I get back from a networking event, let’s just say I talk to 30 40 50 people right, okay, I literally know when I get back what I connected into so literally nobody’s falling off so literally instead of the 20 percent Plato’s principle so like in Baseball 3: a 2 out of 10. You know: you’re an average player 3 out of 10 and you’re you’re, a rock star right, you’re, a multi-million dollar stuff.
Well that works. That way. Why not monetize the connections you’re with? If you start to talk to them, and you explain to them what’s going on here’s, what most of us do, have you ever been to an event and someone all they do is talk about how badass their yes, then, why do we sell? Why do we tell people what we do? That would mean we like to tell people what we do oh yeah and says: well, if our minority shuts off, if someone talks about how badass they are, then why, specifically, we start sharing with people what we do sure.
Ok, so going through the process, all I’m listening for is key phrases unless, before the problem is the challenges the issue is, I would have deep dive down to that see to me a lot of former sales is dead features and benefits, and all this other stuff That goes out bigger the consequence, bigger the check. So what I’m listening for? Well, you don’t understand the problem. Is I’m like right? Well, most, you don’t realize the minute.
Someone says the problem is that’s what they crave for themselves. The challenge the issue. Well, if you start to listen to those, if that challenge or that problem or that issue, you can solve it, what you’re able to do is then connect them to a referral partner if they’re not for you, so you’re only monetizing it out with them. Here’s the thing: imagine if you start referring your friends business the next time something comes up in their business, that your referral they’re going to want to get back.
So you create this whole board of directors, which is really just brothers and sisters that I have that are really badass specifically in that area. But what I learned to do is just monetize it, because there’s no way the human mind can listens to 30 or 40 conversations in a weekend and monetize. Well literally, all I did was take a lot of the tools that tradition I learned from you and a lot of other people and literally just created a work like I could just say, branding hey.
Let me introduce you to a sister of mine, Kelly, O’Neil, she’s, badass, here’s, what she’s accomplished, here’s what you’re going to receive and literally the system automates it automatically. So I really don’t have to do anything so it creates this process. So now I’m making money with no, because if they’re not for me, I might as well sell to a friend and make a check and add him come into their business right.
I love that. I love that. I love that sorry, I’m trying to figure out. What’s going on with my split screen here, primeira another I didn’t update on, he can’t live and now all of a sudden we have, we have all. Now. I think, there’s three there’s two of you. I didn’t know if I could add a morph. I sizing as what you’re saying yeah yeah I mean like you’re. Duplicating try to get out on face like branding.
Does yeah it’s the be everywhere effect. That’s what we like to that’s what we like to. We like to say here, fantastic all right. So in assembling your board of directors, because I think this is really important – it’s the turning the no because you’re right, you’re, not you’re, not right for everyone. So where do you look for in your business development partners execution? Does the execution of the product solve the specific problem that they’re going through right? Okay, for example, you know like and like when you are working on my stuff, you and Emerson.
I thought work very well together because you’re both very much strategists yeah, I’m not a strategist. A lot of people tell me, oh my accessorize strategy. What I do is I’m accessorizing verticals that they’re not looking at they’re, not making money on merchant services they’re not making money on reputation, but it actually aligns with their core values of their company, but they’re not looking at it like.
How do you write off on line, but I’ve set B reviews? You know, here’s the thing, because I understood reviews and reputation do some of the branding. At least curry happens to be one of my reputation and I also use another company call so tell us. So I used two different verticals: yes, love myself, some Ron Howard. I do, but I like the checks. He sends me: yeah, yeah. Okay, that’s mailbox! Money, month after month after month, like ryan Phrygia merchant, he sends me pay taxes.
So I set it up once and I continually paid like rental properties, okay and then, when I’m out and about. If I see someone’s you know, if their reputation is not good or their branding sauce, your enemy writer says they took the sole process and literally create into a formula that we go into companies, cuz strategies, everything right, facebooking ads, and all that is tactics. If you don’t have a strong strategy in the front, here’s they most people want to come to me and they’re like blow up my business.
So I’m like great. What’s the strategy? Okay, I know how you know once the offer and the strategies in place. I got the ways. That’s super simple right. Cuz, listen! I you know, I teach my students to literally crate mailbox plenty for themselves. Cuz. You know you might as well. If they’re, not for you, if you’re paying for the lead, you already paying for the travel, if you’re sitting down eating dinner, start to think about other verticals or people that are in your circle, that you can refer business to in this asking for exact.
If you prefer that’s free marketing for them, okay, they’re going to pay for marketing in some kind of way. The difference is now we go out. We monetize right so now, you’re monetizing, six out of ten eight out of ten begin. This make sure the product or services they provide is really good. Okay. So this is this. I will tell you is key the end. You know what a stickler I am like. I I literally just put the kibosh on a good friend of Mines, business Hugh who came to me because her product is – and I love her and I think she’s brilliant and her products, not market ready – and I was like I won’t rep this yet like you Need to get all these ducks in a row before you wrap it, and I think this is such a key thing in this market.
You know: what’s what’s that saying? What’s the saying about you know, if you don’t want to get fleas or what is it like? Don’t don’t don’t lie down with a dog that has fleas know if you don’t want, please don’t lay it out with the dogs, it has it yeah exactly it’s like you have to be so careful in this market about who you are referring to, because that is A representation extension of your brand and if you refer to someone that is, you know, doing less like subpar work or, if you’re referring to someone that is, you know not not not up to snuff er.
You know that that comes back on you. It does us. You know and that’s why you know one of the things we created to sell, let’s make more summit was after a buddy might got Chilean. I got burned by promoter and we’re literally putting on an event for the sponsors of that show to serve them back, as it was worried for lem me, yeah, they’re, buddies or sponsors back to let them get on stage, because it was my reputation and and here’s The thing what what easier way is to do that than to start my first one everybody’s asked me recently why I don’t teach what I do and then somebody in October last year asked me how many kids am I not helping, because I’m not on stage.
You know my dad stopped. That’s how you get stim go for the kids every time, yeah! That’s why it’s almost my customers or my clients that I don’t work for them. I work for their kids because you see there’s three investments in your life. There’s time, money and change: what’s the most important change change, but most people when they’re struggling always talk about time, but we all wake up with the same 1440 minutes a day.
There’s a reason why some people make 30 grand is reason why some people may go hundred million it’s based on the habit you wake up with in the morning. Okay, we just don’t. We don’t look at as our businesses, the math we look at it. It’s hard. The minute you say it’s hard, we tell the universe. No, so there’s only two things in the universe. There’s no one know if the challenge is the issue is the problem is you’re creating the know in your business instead of who do you know what you need to know or where do I need to know to get me past this problem? Yes, who has that literally, if your mind would just go to that hey, okay, I need this person and it comes.
It makes it so much easier when these issues come up. There’s a book called Black Swan. What are the what ifs in our business? This is his favorite book, so we either say I’m just going to totally Adam. We do this thing. I call it Timmy time where I call him yeah now we’re going to put it live on Facebook, so I call it. I call it Timmy time like if I need some Timmy time. I called Terry for whether it be personal advice, litmus checks about something from sales off on him.
We have Timmy time and many of our TV times this book. The black slide has come up right and Black Swan is just the layers of your business right. If you know, if you’re marking, with your sales guys something happened, I’ll give an example I was at. I was actually just coming out of an event with you. If you remember, you told me, and one of my contractors acted flipped his car and passed away so had I not been layered with other contractors and other things in the business? Had I not layered my business, this year’s was pretty wild.
I buried my grandma very regretful. My wife had surgery, my friends, it’s not rough, it’s here’s a thing. You know everybody says even with my story that if I, if I didn’t have the stuff in place, my business would have never thrived. It would never keep going. You know we’re put through things its perspective right. A lot of people say I’ve had a rough childhood, so a lot of people say you know this last six months been rough, but if I didn’t have my friends, I didn’t have my board of directors.
I didn’t have my business setup in the way that I did it wouldn’t be here right and that’s why this book is so important because you know it’s preparing, you know, listen cash crunches, don’t come in one day. If you start to look at the stuff in your business, it shows you months in advance on your balance sheet, but we don’t look at that. We don’t wake up Sunday morning or Monday morning and say hey.
This is the sales I need for the week. Here’s the verticals are they sales that you need specifically for you or, if you’re, already buying, if you’re buying the marketing? Why not monetize it with your friends as well, because you know you can send them business and vice versa. I think a lot of people really operate from that scarcity. Mindset where you know I see this office like this is part of the reason I created.
As you know, the profit ology process because, as I was creating that Tim was behind the scenes done. This is brilliant, and this is part of the reason I created this is because not everyone is in the right stage for what you need right now in your business, and a lot of people are stuck skipping, like you said it’s like they’re tiptoeing, through clarity and Leapfrogging over strategy into action and they’re burning they’re burning their businesses out right in their burn their lists because it’s just the same stuff over and over and over.
So I give you a perfect sample. I’d was uh when I started doing a lot of the stuff. I was burning people out with people. There was no way they had the amount of time so I’ll give kudos to Troy, Bechard him, and I did a trade out. We were doing a mastermind together and I’m just I just started like I normally do. I get on a white board, which is my war room and I’m just like right now, maids for him, neither whoa dude, there’s no way.
Possibly you know I did like 50 or 60 leads like in one day and he just started building this thing is I throw there’s no way so we actually reached out to fix your funnel and he actually heated and literally on the backside of an app literally Created so I can connect people on a Trello board at five at a time, so I didn’t have to slow me down. I can still do dumps right on people that I had met, but yet it was being triggered in the sense that it was only five at a time so having five for a week to follow up with this and bad.
But if I do a dump and my what do you mean get done, I would just think like, for example, the easiest way for me to figure out who somebody’s for is to do a dump. I can write notes so literally I’ll just go into Trello and I’m like you know it is, but you need to know this person. You know this person, you know this person, you know this person well, but that was doing it all manually. So literally now I can just do this: Trello dump a people they need to know and really in the business, because you know we’re only one person away from knowing anybody.
People don’t believe that, but literally with social media and all that kind of stuff, you’re literally only part one person away from knowing the customer knowing that Rockstar. You want to know right, but we don’t looking like that, because the thing is, you know when you start referring people with events and people at home to some other process. People don’t forget you they don’t so now, which makes it easier.
It’s now like I’m just going Trello and do a dump like I’d, like you know what I mean, so I’m starting doing this now, it’s just what I do a dump on who they need to know. If any stages it could be, it could be whatever specifically, it could be sponsorships. It could be whatever that vertical is to literally just do a brain dump. Well, I’m not overwhelming them, because it’s just in a dump stage, I’m just dumping.
You know when I do my miracle morning: I’m doing that. Dump that literally, they need to know these people, but then, as I make phone calls, I can just move it over in Trello and then it makes the introduction, through a b card, by the way for all of you that are reading they’re in our profit. He and I are so aligned in philosophy about the you know the clarity about the strategy of literally in our 30-day profit transformation program. This week we talked about the miracle morning. We talked all about collaboration. We talked about building relationships. It is absolutely what James talking about is absolutely central in today’s marketplace. It’s absolutely essential, in fact we’re we’re leading a training in our profit preneur circle on Thursday, where I’m talking about the five strategic ways that we are helping our clients herefore the recession, that’s imminent right.
All of the analysts are telling us it’s coming, and this the smart ones of us are not we’re not freaking out we’re like got it good to know. How do I then recession-proof, my business? How do I then add these these? You know different components in and much of what Tim is talking about is part of what how I have my clients recession-proof their business right, if you are being transactional in your business, if you were just talking about sales, if you are not in this business development Game if you’re not referring people you’re, not collaborating with other people, you’re going to be it’s going to be so much harder for you, if not impossible.
Once you get into a transitioning economy and that’s exactly right, we just don’t. We don’t plan ahead right when we call cash crunches, that’s months in advance, but most people won’t look at their P & L. They won’t work with them. They won’t look at what we call the MSP partnership. Every time we keep hearing the same objections over and over and over that should be wrote into our copies so that the salespeople spend less time with people they’re not for write better the strategy.
You become more hoarder takers because people are picking up the phone. I need you right now. Yeah say what is is to marketing and sales partnership. Oh my got it all. Those people do not connect their marketing and sales. They don’t thank you when they follow the profit, ology processor. So and that’s where it comes down to being really important, your marketing shouldn’t be who you’re for it should be, who you’re not for 1000 % okay, and when you get really specific on who you are for okay, and because I have people like Emerson.
I people like you that are really good at this kind of strategy of what the business should go. Look like see now I can take the other 80 %, then you’re, not four, and we can put verticals in place that you can start to solve to your friends so that you can make money because here’s the thing if you’re trying to get to 100 grand And you work in 2080 hours per year, you’re ninety six bucks an hour.
Well, if I want to go to 200 grand that just means I need our 48 hours now I need to go to 96. Then all I need to do that. Hundred grand doesn’t necessarily have to be you, it could be other verticals. So it’s about working less and make anymore, because if you can monetize being on the phone with every client and send them business where you need to go so one of the things. I start a lot of my conversations off with by the way any time during this conversation, if I’m not a good fit, do you mind if I refer you to someone that is if, by chance, I am a good fit? Do you mind if we take the last five minutes, so this phone corner straight how we can work together yeah, so it becomes very simplistic.
I’m just listening for the major problems in their life and just kind of connecting them in to where I think or believe is going to be the strongest impact to their. Why? Because never about the sales er, the stuff that we have is more about the product. The product is just a tool right, I can give you a hammer, doesn’t mean you’ll use it. Difference is you’re the tool to get them to their. Why most people might why you on this phone call to make more money you mind.
If I tell you my greatest fear, you’re concentrating on money, what, if you had the money, tell me what life would be like? What would it go on vacation, my kids great? How much is that? Oh, it’s 2,000! What if you had a $ 10,000 vacation with your kids? Okay, when do you want to do it? Because I did I’d be dreams without I ideas without dates or dreams? Okay, so let’s just say that you’re literally going to take if it’s 10 grand and it’s going to be next July – it comes to like 27 bucks per day if it’s two years, it’s $ 13 per day.
But if you focused on that $ 13 is putting it back in your business and you put that into a savings account, you would have that vacation yep, but see they look at the big number. What they don’t look at. What do I need to wake up Monday morning and how many, whose sales do I need? Is that sales in your company or is it other verticals to financially? You know, for example, I have some people pay me ten percent.
I have some people pay me. 50 percent – it depends to this business. They don’t have the difference. Is you know my staff? My office still doesn’t know what I do. There’s like well how you get these checks? Well, I pick up the phone ball or I’m at an event, and when you can do that, that’s all of you that are listening notice that he doesn’t say that he is, you know, banging out social media posts.
In fact, this morning I was like anyone answer. He’s like no any sec wait. I think that might be right. I mean like that, he’s direct con. I say this all the time you guys direct contact is the fastest path to cast. You pick up the phone. You meet people at events. Where do we meet? Where did you and I meet? Actually, I think was on the cruise. It was definitely before the cruise hey, there’s a bit a man might have been man.
I’ve been circling for a while yeah my approach. It your approach is extremely effective. So I can also tell you that Tim has run business development at my events very, very, very effectively. So so if people want to find out more about you, they want to find out about this event, which tell us a little bit more about this event. So the event will be it’ll actually be posted on Monday they’re, just uh the designers are actually putting the page up.
It’s called to sell less make more Sun net. Hey going to do is we’re going to start to teach people what to do, how to make money with no really deep dive into you know. Is it sales? Is it so literally at our vet? If you want to learn to make more money, we’re actually going to have a lot of our affiliates actually at the event, these are people that we refer businesses of merchants. As if funding is this, whatever vertical, you need.
Oh I’d like to accessorize with your business. We’re going to start to either they could use ours or will start to teach them to farm their own right. So there’s some it’s going to be a lot of roundoff. I think people forgot even like Napoleon Hill and all that that mastermind group he was around was really created to refer business and the more you refer business back-and-forth, the deeper the bond gets cuz you’re, serving their kids you’re, making that money right they really didn’t – have To go out and spend for right, so we’re going to start these people, this marketing and sales partnership, because the more that you meet with your marketing, your sale seems every week the last time the salespeople have to spend on the phone defending okay, because objection should Be handled in the front, not the back right, the more you understand the pain they’re in the frustrated they’re overwhelmed with this stuff, the easier it is to identify it they’re, not for you.
What referral partner are they for right, yeah and it’s it’s amazing that the world of referrals? People don’t understand that you can get paid, but you can refer movies, you don’t get paid, but in the real business world we do yep, but we like to do free. Consulting because it makes us feel good, I don’t operated. I’ve listened, but I’m a lot of people that come to me. I’m like great, so you just refer that how much money you make well! No, I’m just because I like them, that’s awesome! So how about your kids, though, so, is that referral partner, adding text to your kids is the counter taking it away and they go that’s not funny.
I didn’t say it was funny. I just asking you you’re referring business. I again you may want to do it for free. I’m just going to disagree with people is listen. Listen! I’ve been able to change my dynamic of my business because of my referral partners, yep and because I like to send them business. It’s okay, but I actually took the last four or five months because I was literally destroying people, because I would give them that Mary referrals, okay and when my brother might pointed that out, is I typically let’s do this so now it lessened in less than two Weeks, my systems is completely 100 % automated between a text delete.
I need one phone number in one word for every referral partner and I can refer business. I love it. I love it alright, guys so we’ve put Tim’s and Doreen says she loves the the pre-agreement is communication. Saving tim is in the profit preneur circle. What’s up money geeks, mr v, here welcome to another article guys so in today’s article we’re going to be looking at something new, something exciting we’re going to be looking at stock lending program that might sound crazy to you. You’re, probably thinking like mr v, okay, we’ve talked about different ways of making money, uh or generating income here on the blog talk about side, hustle talk about investing in the stock markets, talking about investing in dividend, stocks that pay you monthly or quarterly dividends, um.
All those are ways of making some extra money, but there’s another way that I just kind of stumble on it. Um and – and this is specific for weibo. So if you have the weibo app and you have stocks and weibo that you have bought and holding long term, this applies to you um. This is specifically for you. I don’t know if the other brokers do have this particular program, i’m going to do some research, but as of right now I haven’t done any research yet so um.
The program again is called the stock lending program. So basically, if you own stocks, so you’re holding for long term, let’s say one year: two year, three years, those stocks, you can actually lend them out and actually make money and make either monthly uh income from lending your stocks out. So the way it works is, you would give out your stocks and then they would calculate your monthly income based on the price of this stock based on the quantity of the stocks and then the interest rate.
And then that’s how much you’re going to be getting paid. So, let’s jump into the app and actually walk through it and read. Some of the uh frequently asked questions and just understand it. So if it’s something that you wan na you wan na really um get into so let’s open up weibo here so once you get into weibo, what you want to go is under the app. If you go to more and then scroll down, you would see where it says: um stock lending program.
So if you click on stock lending program, so basically um. This program is open to anybody that has a weibo account that has stocks that they’ve paid for fully and by paying for fully means. If you have a cash account, when you buy a stock you’ve paid for that stock fully, so you own the stock and then, if you’re keeping it you can actually um. Just you know loan out that stock and make money. So let’s read through this so again you start to say: stock lending income program, um earn extra income from fully paid stocks in your account guys again like I said this is specifically for weibo, so it says so, hey again, i’m reading directly from weibo.
Com. So what is the stock lending program says? The stock lending income program provides you with the opportunity to earn extra income on fully paid stocks held in your account by allowing weibo to borrow certain stocks, keyword certain stocks, so it means they’re, not borrowing every stock. So, even if you have certain stocks, they’re, probably like nope, that stock is not good enough for us to borrow it.
While your shares are on loan, you will be paid an income that is accrued daily and accredited to and credited to your account on a monthly basis, which is interesting so um here. If you look at the image here, uh weeble would borrow stocks from you, lend it out to somebody that person would pay them interest and then they’ll. Take that interest, take their cut and then give you a share of it. So that’s just pretty much the way it works, so weibo is acting as kind of like a third party here, lending out your stock.
So before we actually jump into the details, guys if you’re new to the blog, we’ll talk about how to earn money, how to save money and how to invest and build wealth. So if that’s something that really interests you go ahead and hit that subscribe button and the notification bell, so you don’t miss out on new content, so um, my understanding of this and which we wouldn’t really explain here, is um how those stocks are actually being used.
So when you say you lend out your stocks, my interpretation is that they take those stocks and use those as collateral for somebody to either borrow money or use them, maybe in a margin account or something I i’m thinking that is used as collateral. That is my interpretation, so if you have, let’s say, have ten thousand dollars of this is some stock in your account and they borrow that those stocks and then they give it to somebody that person can say.
Hey look at this. I have ten thousand dollars in these stocks, so give me money, I can use it. Maybe they can use it to trade or whatever again, that’s just my interpretation. Weibo doesn’t really explain how the stocks are being used here so um. So, let’s look at some of the benefits of uh the stock lending income program for on weibo, so um number one again: it’s extra income for you! So uh! You would immediately begin earning income on any shares that are lent out, which is awesome.
Earnings are accrued on a daily basis, um, but they’re paid monthly, um, so yeah that is fully collectorized, so um. When the lending transactions takes place, our clearing firm will hold the collateral for you to secure the amount um of the loan, so which is awesome. It looks like they’re not messing around here and then there’s no restriction. Um. You can participate in this program, regardless of your account type the amount of equity in your account.
So when you say account types either: if it’s a margin account or it’s a cash account, you can participate um equity in your account. So if you have 10, 15 20, 30, 40 50, you can totally participate. So there’s no restriction, which is great. So there’s no limitation, I like that and then easy and automated. So you don’t really have to do any manual work once you sign up for the program. They’ll just scoop right in take the stocks loan them out and you pay your interest.
So now i’m pretty sure you guys have all the questions that I did ask myself when I just started about it. So how do they calculate the income? So let’s read it right here so um. If we look at the example here, let’s see the income the way it’s calculated is uh number of shares times the price of the stock times the interest and then divide up by 360.. That’s how you get it again number of shares time the price of the stock um times the percentage divided by 360 would give you the the amount of interest that you would get paid, which is awesome, um and then next question here.
Can I sell my stocks if they were loan out, which is a question that I was asking myself too. So, let’s look at the answer. There are no trading restrictions on stocks that are lent out. You can sell your stocks at any time, just as you would if they were, if they weren’t on loan, which is awesome. However, selling of stocks on loan will terminate the loan, which is fine. So let’s say you bought ten thousand dollars worth of um less stock.
Xyz and the price went up to uh, fifteen thousand or twenty thousand, and you had loaned out the stocks and it went up. Let’s say, went up to twenty thousand and you wan na, sell it and take that profit. You can just go into your account and hit sell without having to tell them like hey. I need my stocks back, so I can sell them. You can just sell them and that’s it. But at that point, when you sell it, they’ll terminate your loan and then they’ll pay you, whatever interest, had a proof entirely with using it at the end of the month and you move on, which is awesome so now um.
How can I view my stocks that were loaned and checked my income? So let’s check um number one. It says any stock on loan will be visible in your account on the position page with a loan notification. So they’ll have a designation of loan to which it tells you that stone is that that stock is actually loaned out, which is awesome. The details of your security on loan will be reflected on the related position detail page okay, which is good um.
Additionally, you will be send trick confirmation on lending activities conducted in your account, that’s sweet, so when they do any um um, you know learning activities. You get some sort of confirmation to. Let you know what’s going on um and last but not least, can I receive dividends from stocks uh which were loaned? Okay. Let’s see that’s a very interesting question, because if you are missing out on dividends and that’s an issue, so let’s see uh cash distribution paid on securities on loan in the stock lending income program will be credited to your weibo account in the form of the cash.
In real payment, okay, so you still get payment, but not just like dividends. Uh receipt of cash in real payments may have different tax, uh, taxable uh consequences than receipt of actual dividends from the issuer, so you still get paid. But there is some nuances when it comes to your taxes, so um there, you go guys uh. If just reading at these questions and looking at the benefits of this, I think this is a.
This is a program that’s going to change the way people invest, because if i, if i’m investing for long term, I don’t plan on selling my stocks for two three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine ten years um and the stocks are growing. I’m getting my dividends as I would expect them um and i’m getting growth and then i’m getting extra income for lending out those stocks. I think it’s a fabulous program.
Um, i’m definitely going to give it a shot. I’m going to do it and do a article. A before and after maybe do a one month um and see how I did how much income I made and then i’ll do another article and post it out here for you guys. So a second in pottery is when you have a piece that comes out. That’s not perfect, but you still want to sell it and you can sell it for discounted great so before we are able to sell all these pots. So all these mugs came out of the kiln the other day right and they all dripped. They all dripped. All over the place – and it’s just the price you pay sometimes when you are experimenting and you’re you want to like get sweet drip, glazes going, but unfortunately I don’t feel like I can sell these pots for the normal price that I would sell them for.
But I can grind them down and get them pretty close to perfect, like you can see. For example, this pot had a glaze that drip totally off the pot, and then I took some of the grinding tools and went after it and it’s better, but it’s still not perfect. So I’m going to show you guys kind of three different tools and ways that I can do this all right. The first way is with these grinding pads from Diamond core tools.
So basically you get these grinding pads. You throw them on a bat. You put them on the wheel and then use water, and then you can flatten the bottom, so this works really well for that. The only problem is it’s not great at getting a lot of glaze off like this, and it also doesn’t work well if you have handles because you can’t like get the pot low enough second way, I’m going to I’m going to go, get a two I’ll, be Right back, the second way – and this one is really new for me – is to use like a dremel tool with a diamond bit.
So these bits are from also from Diamond core tools and I have ones coarse grind ones, fine, so basically you just turn this on and then you start grinding around the edge, and this is better for like more fine-tuned. Adjustments like the grinding pad is create flattening the bottoms and getting like a little pieces off the bottom. But if you want to make really fine adjustments or just really like more meticulous changes, then the journal tool is definitely way to go.
The last tool you can use, which is what I used forever – is this bench like a bench grinder like this. So basically, this is a wheel that spins and then you can take the pieces and just kind of as it’s spinning you can be like, and I use this for ever in my old studio and there’s some safety hazards with this, like basically when you’re grinding you’re. Just kicking up like a bunch of silica dust and like gravel, which is not good for your lungs, so there are definitely some safety precautions that you want to take.
When doing this should put some safety goggles on, you should have a mask, might be tough to find a mask these days like this, but um glaze can also be very sharp. So if you have gloves, we should be good ball. Let’s do it. This is going to take a little bit of work, but I think it’ll be worth it so normally once when I’m selling mugs for anywhere between, like fifty and seventy dollars, these mugs will probably be on the Etsy restock for like around half that.
So so, if you want to check them out, I’d very much appreciate it, the first one that we’re going to do since it’s not this one didn’t drip that bad. It just kind of drip trait well there. So we’re going to use this grinding pad to just flatten the bottom and then to just kind of smooth out that edge a little bit. So you just get that diamond core thing wet, so see that, after about 10 seconds, we’ve already gotten it pretty close to smooth and using a combination of all these tools and methods is one way you can really like get it to be.
As close as you want it to be, like I already even took a little bit almost too much off so there’s that so the mug is totally perfect, that the bottom is nice and flat and smooth. But I still I’m going to sell these for discounted prices. So boom, okay, so as much as you can, if you can grind outside that, helps a lot, you don’t want all that stuff like flying all over your studio or inside. It’s actually kind of nice out here right now, so I’m going to put my mask on there.
We go so not perfect, but still a very functional cup, but you guys think do you buy this? So honestly, can you understand me when I talk like this? So, honestly, having an array of tools like for a while this bench, grinder was the only thing I had and that’s how I pretty much ground down everything. But now having the diamond bits and the diamond pads, I think, having a combination like I’m, going to use this article to kind of test out what I think, but right now.
I think that the bench grinder probably gets it down the quickest and then the dremel tool is definitely more for like refining and then the pad is great for flattening, making sure it’s flat and then also some refinements as well. So they all are good. They all work I’d say I’m just going to use combination of them for all this and then we’re going to get him looking as fine as possible be upside down.
If I let it begin so sweetie, you know, that’s too sure, so that’s that waste another minute. All right: well, it turns out an hour straight of dremel tool will run the battery out so battery’s dead on the ground tool, but we got most everything done once we’re done with that, we’re going to start just taking pictures of stuff so that you guys can See what’s going to be for sale, we’ll be done all right friends, so we got them all ground down.
We got them all photographed and yeah, so these are all going up for sale. If you want to get a discounted pot, I’ve never done discounted pots online. Before and they these are some sweet ones, so got some special ones and basically they’ll just be discounted, probably around half the normal price. Some of them are still pretty perfect, like the bottoms of these, like they’re, not bad at all, so they’ll just be discounted based on you know what kind of pot it is how bad the bottom is, but, like some of these you know I’ve never had any Of this glaze for sale – and it is awesome, but unfortunately it was really hard on the bottoms so well.

So without further ado, I’m going to show you a my laptop I’m going to show you some websites that are going to help you find just just premium content. So you know exactly what problems your audience is having and you can be the person that helps fix them, so they’re going to come to you for more advice.
So that sounds good. I’m going to take you into my laptop and show you exactly what I’m talking about. Let’s go yo. What is up guys, let’s get into the browser here. So this is my Facebook page, and I hope you guys are super excited, because all of this training is geared toward helping. You become an awesome influencer and just showing you piece by piece, really the best way possible, because there’s a lot of little elements right and if you read Russell Brunson’s expert secrets book – and you understand that this is where you’re trying to go.
It really is just about being like just a step ahead in front of the person. That’s trying to learn. You know you’re, not blazing the whole trail. You know. Maybe one day you will have that whole trail blazed but you’re. Basically, you blazed a section whatever it is, whatever point you’re at that you’re trying to teach somebody you’ve already blazed that trail and now you’re, trying to like show them how to get past that block right.
So this is exactly how you’re going to do that. The first step is we’re going to be on Facebook here. As you can see, my boy Marshalls live, constantly live, that’s kind of his thing and the way the way that you’re going to do this here is we’re going to go to groups and the cool thing about Facebook groups is one there’s a ton of them and Two, they can be very niche specific now. Maybe you’ve had a ton of people send.
You invites to groups kind of like this. You just have to decline constantly, but there are ones I usually favor, the ones that I participate in and maybe that I have a coaching thing going on and that’s why I do these so anyways. If you’re trying to find a group, let’s say you, you want your in a specific thing and let’s say just for the sake of this article, we’re talking dog training. Well, like you know, we’re looking for dog training and take your niche whatever it is and plug it into the search bar.
That’s all you have to do here and you could be dog training. It could be juicing, it could be. You know trimming fat off your body, it could be, you know, getting a six-pack, it could be marketing, it could be affiliate marketing, it could be social media marketing whatever it is, that you’re an expert in just plug that into the search bar and as soon as You do that you’re going to come right over here and you’re going to click groups.
Now the cool thing about this is: it is a super targeted area group of people that are into one thing and that’s why they’re in this group right. So if they’re doing dog training, this has 54,000 members, some are active. Some are not 14,000 members, 46,000 members and you’re going to want to join these groups. Band join, join, join and you’re going to want to be an active member in all of these. Now, for the sake of this, I’m going to look at public groups just because I don’t want to go through the joining process, but you will want to want to join the ones that asking you questions.
I just want to join one that is open. So this one has 46,000 members. Some of these guys are monetizing and they’ll be good examples for what you can do. If you want to have your own group, I don’t recommend it just because there’s a lot of groups already and it’s a lot of front-loading work. If it’s worth it to you, make group if it’s not use them use the group’s, because these guys have 46,000 members okay, so you can look in this one, because it’s open and you can just go in here and see what people are posting like.
You go in here and you’re like alright. One way is to search the group and you can see if there’s a well-known problem or you can go through and kind of see. Okay. This is 14 hours ago. Yesterday, you can see all the posts and the goal here is to see what problems come up most like what is the thing that just gets covered a lot and obviously you’re not going to see it in the first passing. The goal here is to become a part of the community which you’re going to you should become anyways, so you can see the daily discussions that go on you can pop in here.
You know on the daily and you’ll start to notice. You know have it have a set of notes. I always keep in Evernote this app right here and I always have like a list and I go okay. This came up. This came up. Let me just get rid of that, and you can see what topics come up on a daily basis. You can even keep like a little tally sheet and make a line. You know this came up and then you go with this came up again.
This came up again. This came up again and you’re going to notice what topics get talked about a lot. So this person goes. You know, question. I always walk our dog on a leash, but at least twice a week. We have a meet up. We meet up with an Unleashed dog. We try to walk away most most of them follow. What is the proper way to? Let them greet so far. My guy is totally tolerant, but will jump away if the rear end sniffing food goes on for more than a few seconds.
So already you know, I have a little dog, and so I can kind of like understand where the what the what they’re talking about here but see you can think here’s one topic. I always walk our dog on a leash. You know you could do one. You know pros and cons of of having your dog on a leash, or you can do a segment on this entire topic right there, that that is actually a really good topic, because you know there are situations where it’s like someone’s walking a dog on a leash And someone’s not so BAM and you’re going to do this for your for your group, whatever your niche is you’re going to go through here and you’re going to be like alright, what points are coming up again and again – and I don’t want to go too far Into this, obviously we’re not all doing dog training, so that would be a waste of your time.
But you’re going to want to join the group, see what they’re talking about most often and see where you can fit in the conversation and take those topics. And you talk about them, put them in your words. So that’s that’s part. One part two here the tool we’re going to use is called answer the public, it’s a website, and they have this cool course here you can join if you want to. But what is the the best use of this? It’s a really really good resource, but what you can do is, let’s say: let’s, let’s keep it in line with our training, so this is consistent here, but we’re going to type in dog training or you’re going to type in your topic: social media marketing, fitness training, Fat loss, tech reviews iPhone 8, whatever it is, okay, so for this one we’re typing in dog training, just your broad keyword, whatever that is and right here so dog training.
So the way this comes up is it gives you a visual, but you can also just look at the data. You know the visual is kind of cool when you first joined because it’s like wow it branches. So many topics, but it’s really hard to read. So I recommend as soon as it pops up just click the little data tab right there, so it has to load it up. It’s not it’s being a little slow right now, so she in the meantime, let’s actually just I’m going to cut back to when it actually comes up and we’re back.
So, as you guys can see, this thing is populating with all of the data for dog training and, as you can see, it breaks it down into when why we’re who, which and it applies dog training into each of these – I love this resource. It’s super useful so, like I said, that’s hard to read, so if you click the data tab right here, it’ll make it an easier to read format. So, as you guys can see, it starts with our our dog training collar safe already one, and then our dog training collars legal.
All of these questions. These are real people asking real questions that you can give real answers to, and you can provide the platform to answer these questions and, as you guys can already see, if you have a blog, if you have something like, if you just don’t, have any ideas, and You just need to build a little momentum. This is perfect, like all of these are like dog training collars and then it’s like our dog training classes to necessary.
Our is dog. Training. Good is dog training center. What our dog training disks? What our dog training bells! You know that this is a ton of questions. There then can shake canned dog training. I think it’s like a method. Rattle-Can dog training coin can air? Can it’s like an actual can and I like a question, can do dog training it can and kiss. Some of these aren’t very well formatted, but I feel, like you, get the gist of this: how how dog training works, how dog training dog toilet, what the hobby training is best? How did how to dog training in Hindi? So alright there’s there’s some well-phrased and there’s some not so well phrased, but how how to dog training with shock collar? So there’s a ton of ideas and that’s not all you can scroll down there’s what, when, where there’s different kinds of prepositions too.
So like look at them, there’s a ton of this guys. You know all of this dog training for dummies and you can you can. Actually, if you go over here to this top corner, you download the CSV. It basically takes all of this data and puts it into like an excel sheet, so you can basically just download it all and just have it in a file on your desktop. So, whenever you’re feeling stuck, you can just revert to it and you have all the data right there.
So that’s a super useful resource. Now, the last one here I’m going to recommend is reddit. Now, if you’re not familiar with ready, it’s basically just a mega mega forum, where you can literally find for the most part, 99 % of the time, you can find a topic that people basically congregate and talk about a certain topic. So if this is the popular page, so you can see each one of these is a subreddit.
So there’s one for pictures when for shower thoughts, there’s one for today I learned animals being bros. You know russians something about their funny trashy. You know a lot of these are like the popular ones that people are like. You know like memes and stuff, but if you wanted to what I was going to show you is, you could go to sales. If you are training sales, you can find basically a subreddit or at forum that is about you, know, sales and selling, and this is a community of 42,000 subscribers.
That’s been a community for over 10 years, so you go on here and this little forum, our sales, the subreddit for sales is all about sales and you know the best threads of year and then they have like daily discussions. There’s advice and people are constantly posting. This was posted an hour ago and you can go on here. It’s got three comments. You can also go to like the top of like the week and you can go on here and basically see what people.
What’s what have been the biggest discussions? You know, so you go in here like alright 17 days ago, but this is for the past month. So if you want to look at the entire month as a whole, you can be. I can all right. This is what popular here this is what’s popular and talked about the discussions, you know that that they’re seeing and what are they talking about and what did they find the most helpful, because your audience will probably find that helpful too.
So if you go to dog training, I’m losing my voice here, but guys like these are such useful resources like you, don’t need to pack all of the resources on you just need to go to the source. You need to go to like the newest stuff, or people are having conversations, because you and just find what works for you honestly, like just pick three things. There’s no need to overcomplicate this, but okay.
I must have made a mistake here: okay, that was still under sales. I think so, when you’re in another subreddit, you just have to make sure to clarify the search here so yeah dog training. Okay. As long as it’s not limiting my search to sales, then I think it’ll come up and you can basically just make the make the connection from there and go down to see this. One is dog training, I’m already subscribed to it.
I don’t go on there. The haften know to be honest, but yeah, so you can go in here and you can be alright. This is the hot conversations. These are the ones that are having you know seven hours ago. Look at that 18 comments. 31 comments. This is a very active community, so you can go in here and you can be like. Oh dog biting BAM. That’s a topic! You know chicken jerky dog, Mooney kibble, so the dog diets.
That’s another topic! You know my puppy is terrified to go outside after being attacked. These are really really helpful topics. So if you guys just go in here and find the subreddit that’s like relevant to what you’re looking for chances are, it’s there’s people there’s a community that are talking about this, offering their advice. You know, there’s help tags, there’s community, there’s Bragg’s, you know like it’s.
Just it’s a really cool resource that is very diverse. You know like whether you have a question on fitness. There’s something here: dog training, there’s something here: self development there’s something here. You know this is a really big one, so make sure to use all of these guys. There’s groups, Facebook groups, there’s answer the public and there’s reddit like these are really important resources that you can go to to bring information and to your audience wherever that is whether it’s YouTube, whether it’s Facebook, whether it’s Instagram like there’s, tons and tons of resources.

Here with Eric Ellis jr. Comment in this article, I’m going to show you how to freakin get real freaking followers and the fastest most legitimate way in 2008. Teen stay freakin tuned, alright guys so we’re actually behind my Instagram as we speak. If you look here now, first and foremost, step step number one is you need to leverage hashtags right now, just to show you my most recent photos are always use hashtags.
So we look on the best way is using the hashtags on the second comment, so you’re going to notice hold on. Let me go on one of my last here we go so I have so many freaking comments on here, but hashtags right, so travel traveling, travelers, traveler Explorer exploring Explorer. So while my leveraging hashtags simply because I want a specific group of people to actually reach me, so people are interested in travel or entrepreneurship business.
Everything of that nature they’re going to find me because that’s what I’m showing well that’s what type of hashtags I’m using right. So you want to leverage the right type, hashtags very targeted at hashtag. So what is your? I need to know your avatar? What is your ideal follower? What type of content you produce? Because, depending on what type of content you produce, you want that type of person following you, because they’re going to be more likely to engage with your following and if they engage with your content, then the more engagement that you get with your content, you’re also going To go ahead and get more following right in point where it’s easy now, if you’re looking at this photo, it has 765 likes right.
Yes, 50 comments: why? Because I’m simply leveraging right, hashtags and I’m getting people to actually look at my photos right and basically, you always want to use all 30 all 30. There’s no reason not to use all 30 and you want to make sure they’re specifically targeted if you’re trying to help them love us. Do fitness hashtags if you’re trying to do entrepreneurship, do entrepreneurship means hashtags right.
So with that being said next step, step number two is engaging with a specific number of people daily. Now, there’s two ways right: I’m going to teach you the organic way and I’m going to teach you the hack of the way right. So the organic way is simply by right about to go on somebody’s page, like somebody who I’m following, oh like Gary Vee right. What I can do is, I can tap one of this pieces of content go to who’s following him, and then people who are following him right.
If I’m in soccer ship, I can simply tap their uh, their Instagram right and I can start engaging with their content. Like liking their photos, I’m not going to like any photos right now, because I don’t know if I’m like too many, so I don’t want to get cuz. You Instagram loves the amount of people you can engage with pretty because they’re good and think is it as spammy, but we like people’s stuff and then, if you comment nice things now, if you’re going to.
If you look at one of my photos, you’re going to notice a lot of people doing this right thumbs up the wolf himself, you see great shot thanks for following a happy face right now. What I want to currently recommend is you people who would be most likely like them on counts that are like yours but way bigger. You go to their account. You see who’s engaging with their content, because that means they’re real people, real followers, and then you simply go.
You simply go to their account and you drop a nice comment on their last picture, because people who come across that picture will see who comments it. They’ll visit your profile and if you haven’t good content, they’ll drop a follow and also that person, even if they’re, not following you. If you drop a nice comment on their photos, they’ll be more likely to actually follow you because you complimented them right.
Even if you’re not following them as long as you have good content right, they’ll follow you back and also um the chi-chi-chi code right. The way to do it is with Instagram engagement groups. You can simply go to something called reddit comm and you can search for Instagram engagement groups and within the Instagram engagement groups. You can simply at 12 o’clock, everybody posts, everybody likes your photos, so it’s going to boost your engagement.
So, instead of getting let’s say on average I was getting 500 likes. My average pose might get 700 likes now because I’m more people that I can get the more engaging me to get on your post, it’s actually going to start showing up on the explore page. So if you was to click right here, the explore pages, this page right here right. So, if you’re more likely to show and display on peoples page that aren’t following you simply by I’m getting more people engaged, because if a lot of people are engaging with your content, you’ll show up on that that explore page so leveraging Instagram engagement groups.
Also, you can do commenting engagement groups, it’s literally a telegram group where at a certain point in time everybody pulls that one time in exchange for you liking their photos. They’ll like yours back. So if 200 people are within that round, then you’ll get an additional 200 likes. So imagine of your average photos getting 50 likes. What would happen if it was a boost up to 100 or 150 likes right, so leveraging Instagram engagement groups, so I stated before it number 2 is simply by engaging with people on a daily, and what I would do is a set amount of people right pick To comment on 50 people’s per day and like 3, each of their photos, 50 people per day right, make it a part of your daily method of operation simply by liking, maybe a certain amount of people as per day like 20, 50 100 right because more people, You engage with more people are going to come across your profile.
What you guys to look at something at the top of mine that says 2349 profile visits in the last 7 days right, the more visits you get to your profile. If they see a bit of content, they’re going to follow it, so when you it, the way you get visitors to your profile is simply by engaging with people right and the way I can look at this is because I have a business profile. I can see visitors and track data and everything that nature right and that’s not least, step number three, so step number one was leveraging hashtag step number two was liking, commenting on people’s posts and leveraging Instagram occasional groups simply by engaging with more people you’re going to Go ahead and get more profile visits more followers, and, last but not least, some people might like it.
Some people might not. I don’t care. You read this article, because what if I was, are going to teach you how to get more followers right now. Somebody who’s like me, I’m into entrepreneurship. So if you’re an entrepreneurship or if you’re into fitness, somebody with a much bigger and count, you simply go to their profile right. You pick a piece of their content. You look at so ninety three thousand people active.
What I would do is, if you look here following following following right, but all of these blue I’m going to turn these blue into white right, I’m going to turn them into following, and what I’m going to do is every maybe hour or so every hour. I’m going to follow 200 people every hour, 200 people. It does not take a long period of time, follow 200 people and then what happens is once you get to a certain amount of people right.
He noticed on my Instagram. I have 3500 people that I’m following my thresholds, usually about four hundred four thousand, rather I’m not going to follow over than four thousand people right. You simply go to this app right here on the App Store. It’s called a cleaner for IG and what you’re going to do is with cleaner for IG you’re going to go ahead and literally it allows you to follow on autopilot on follow of the 200 people per hour.
So the same to interview that you follow that you unfollow you clear what’s going to happen is a percentage of those people who actually you follow, are going to follow you back at my current president point is about twenty percent, so if I follow a hundred people That means I’m going to gain 20 followers and rinse and repeat so with that being said, that my friend is how you frickin gain real followers, you legitimate way right not buying them right, they’re, real followers, it’s real engagement, three simple steps, guys leveraging hashtags engage you With people with daily and follow and unfollow now, at the end of the day, if your main goal is to generate followers great, being instafamous apt, I’m not into Vegas, but sometimes people think I’m famous, because I have 12,000 followers right or the thing I was somebody Right, it is pretty cool to have a large following right.

How do you do it? How do you stay motivated? Alright, this is Sharon from got to business builder. It’s not always easy. I’m not going to lie to you. Staying motivated is not always easy, but this is a few things that I do and hopefully they’ll help you. I try to write list out if I know what I’m doing like. Certainly like I got ta do one two: three, a B and C one, two, three whatever it is.
The bottom line is that helps me and it can help me stay focused, so you’re less likely to get unmotivated. Okay, sometimes I feel like people they get stuck. They don’t know what to do it’s hard to get motivated. If there’s you know, they’re, not they’re, not sure where they’re going the other thing is don’t do too much at one time. Perhaps that’s the problem right. You have too much on your plate, narrow it down, start saying.
No, you have to say no to people. That’s another reason why you could get unmotivated because you have too many things going on at one time, it’s difficult who wants to work like that, so start saying: no! Do smaller tasks! Okay, if you find like you just can’t, do the larger test. That’s! Okay! It’s fine it’ll get there just do smaller tasks, get a couple things done, but at least make some progress every day.
That’s so very important inspiration. There are a lot of ways to get inspiration out there. You can listen to podcasts. I mean that, rather than reading TV, maybe getting dressed in the morning riding to work whatever you’re doing in your life, listen to a podcast, it’s really good! Before going to bed at night, where it is sometimes you’re in the day a lunch break whatever it is. You read a book for 15 minutes or half an hour whatever it is.
I know it’s hard to get these things in in your life, but believe me, when you hear the things you get idea is that creativity is going. I think a lot of you know losing motivation is when you have just too much, and you just want to say no. I can’t do this, so be careful, don’t fall into that also surround yourself with people that are motivated and going now. There is a flip side to that I’ll get to that, but the bottom line is when you see people motive, you know going they’re motivated, they’re going and, and you kind of just follow them along it’s important.
So if you don’t have anybody in your life, I always suggest masterminds. Masterminds is a great way to to stay motivated and the reason for that is because you’re tricking with people they’re looking to see your progress and you kind of feel like accountable. That’s really important in business so find that believe me, you can just to somebody on the phone every couple of weeks. However, it is, I do a mastermind.
We meet usually every two weeks and in the summer time we’re down to once a month and honestly we didn’t even meet. We just did the phone last time a three-way phone call. It was a great thing. The bottom line is, you have to be accountable. That’s going to help you with motivation all right now, when you’re in these groups, you’ll, maybe see other people go a lot further than you. Listen! That’s! Okay! For now, just do a little everyday! You will get there.
Don’t worry about anybody else! Kind of put those blinders on and you just have to do what you want to do with your business you’ll, get there maybe not right away, but that’s okay, you’ll get there in your time, but as far as just keep it motivated just keep doing it. That’s the bottom line. You’re you don’t keep doing what you think is important and you’ll stay motivated, make sure you’re getting enough sleep.
Sleep is so very, very important if you’re not sleeping enough you’re not going to get as much done, you’re likely to be unmotivated. It’s just you don’t feel like doing it absolutely understandable and definitely diet and exercise that all comes into it. You know I have a similar article with productivity tips. It really is the same as you know you being productive as the same as you being motivated, read books.
Listen to you know that whole mindset is so very important, because why do people get unmotivated? They get unmotivated when they have too much on their plate and they get unmotivated. When they’re not seeing progress, you may not see progress for a little while this means a lot to you, then you have to hang in there. So how do you hang in there? You surround yourself with people that can help. You find a mentor, find somebody to bounce some ideas off of and that’s why that mastermind comes in, because honestly, it does help and they’re around you never say to me.
I can’t find anybody you can find somebody there’s people on line and, like I said, just, do a phone call. All of these things are going to help you, so these are just my tips today for staying motivated. I hope that this is somewhat helpful for you. It definitely has helped me, I see you know. I started a Facebook group a while back we’re just closing in on 5,000. So I’m happy about that, but it took work.
It didn’t happen overnight took a lot of me posting with really crickets. Nobody was answering just keep at it and I see the same in my own biz there’s definitely days that are bad days. There’s just no doubt about it and I wonder, do I still want to do this, but I’m motivated, I see people around me going forward. I know that I’ve had success and I’ll just keep on going, keep going, that’s the bottom line, and so I hope that you get there too.
