11 stock photos made $2,373 in really passive income

They actually sent me the money now. This income was so passed that I didn’t even know that I was earning it hi, I’m Gia’s wheeler and welcome to the blog and thanks for reading. So how did this happen? Well about five years ago, I was getting into stock photography and I uploaded you know a couple hundred photos to about a dozen sites.

After that I figured out which sites I was making the most money on, and I kept uploading photos to the best sites. Now one of those sites was called photo dude at the time photo team was making me about $ 50 a year, so it wasn’t really worth the effort to keep uploading there regularly. Also, I didn’t bother reading the emails they sent me because the stock photography account fees. They send you a lot of marketing emails, so without my knowledge, photo dude made some pretty big changes on their platform and my earnings went from $ 50 over a year to over two hundred and fifty dollars a month.

As part of this change, I needed to re-enter my payment information, and I didn’t know that I need to do this, so the revenue just kept stacking up until I had over two thousand dollars, in my account, what he did ready to be withdrawn. So now I’m going to get into what types of changes they made and how it really benefits their contributors to the platform. So what photo dude found was that their photo collection was increasing, but their sales weren’t, and there was a lot of photos that they had on their platform that weren’t making any sales at all.

They decided to revamp their entire service to be about quality over quantity. Before they started this process, they had over nine million photos and when they were done, they only had two hundred thousand and eleven of those 200,000 photos were mine, and I was one of the 4 % of contributors that they kept on the platform. Now that change alone wasn’t what made my earnings skyrocket? They also launched a new service and a new website for unlimited uploads called van toe elements, and that’s why I didn’t recognize the name when I first received that email, this new site had unlimited upload.

So my eleven photos were part of a collection where buyers could go and purchase of subscription and download. It unlimited photos every month now this may make a lot of photographers cringe, but is actually what resulted in my increase in my earnings now with this service. If Anto decided to use a different way to calculate the earnings for the photographer’s, this new way of calculating the earnings is called subscription share, and this new way of calculating earnings for contributors is the reason that my revenues jump from 50 dollars a year to 250 Dollars plus a month, okay.

So before I explain how avantco calculates the earnings for the photographer, you first kind of need to understand how the traditional stock agencies, like Shutterstock, calculate the earnings. So I’ll explain that first and I’ll explain why the way that Advanta does it is much better for contributors. Sure stock also has subscriptions and here’s a list of their current monthly rates for subscriptions.

Shutterstock pays contributed 33 thousand 36 cents for 39 cents, depending on their level. I am at the 36 cents level. So, in theory, if someone went purchase a 750 images a month subscription and then only downloaded images for me, sugar stock would actually lose money on that month, but that rarely happens. So, on the other hand, if it’s a subscriber downloads one photo in a month, then the shutterstock pays out the 36 cents for that one photo and then they keep the rest of the subscription earnings.

If a subscriber doesn’t download anything over the month, then shutterstock will it will keep the subscription rate and the contributors don’t actually make anything from that subscriber that month. So now, let’s compare to how a fan. Two elements pays their contributors, so an unlimited subscription on event. O elements is $ 33 a month right now now a fan toad takes 50 % of that and distributes the rest, two contributors, no matter how many downloads the subscriber makes that’s $ 16.

50 for contributors. No matter what so, if a subscriber downloads one photo, then one photographer gets $ 16.50. If a subscriber downloads two photos, then two photographers get $ 8.25 and so on. Here’s the crazy thing: if subscriber doesn’t download anything, then what, if answer, does you take? They take that 16 Dot 50s and they distributed evenly amongst all of the contributors in the platform, and this isn’t a small amount since event, a’lamin started every month the contributor bonus has grown, and so far I’ve received over $ 4,500 from the contributor bonus alone.

Now think about what you would do with an extra $ 4,500, here’s what I’m seriously considering doing with it. This isn’t just for photos of an to elements also includes you know, articles word, paths, press themes and all kinds of other creative materials.

It’s another time actually been doing. A bit of research van toast seems like a pretty cool company, especially compared to some of the other big stock companies that seem pretty heartless, not to name any names. Other sites, like shutterstock, boast a massive amount of photos, but how many of those photos are really useful to their buyers? If you search for anything on Shutterstock, the first page of results are going to be really good for pretty much anything.

You search because it’s sorting on relevance and the search algorithm is just so good. It will show good photos, but if you go and change it to do most recent, the photos that come up are pretty average at best a lot of the time in comparison. If you go to a van to elements and you do a search again based on relevance, you’re going to see a lot of great photos, but if you go when you look at most recent, I think that these photos are a lot more marketable and a lot More usable by buyers and the ones that I just saw over on shutterstock, so I want you to think that I’ve eaten again.

Sorry, sorry, I have way more photos up on shutterstock than I do on event elements and I’m more than happy to receive checks from both of them. But I think it’s going to be interesting to see what buyers prefer, whether they stick with the old way of doing things which is shutterstock or whether this new model that’ve Anto is using, is going to get traction in the marketplace and, right now it seems like It is now if you want to see how a fantail compares to my cells on other stock sites.

cKc Sharp as Shit Knife Sharpening Competition entry

Is it to your face, hi guys in shade when I could shit? What do you want to see on? My truck brings up an odd, so I’m going to write down this little laptop screen back up my computer a little bit, and hopefully you get all this crap in doing now.

Micro Influencer & Money : how & how much we’re making from social media!

I just want to speak about the topic that I Just talked about on my latest post on Instagram, which is making money on Social media, how small influencers make money? How influencers in general Make money to help you understand better, but also I want to get back to what I Was talking about in my post, I don’t know why it’s a very taboo topic.

I don’t Know there’s a lot of hiding, I feel, and I don’t know why I’m going to try To be as transparent as I can, because I know that some of you are curious and Are just wondering how it’s possible to make money on social media? Sorry, I was just explaining to my French audience. That they can answer in French. Alright, just know that everything I’m going to talk About is really from my own experience. I am not talking for anyone else, Although I know from experience and meeting other bloggers that they have the same Experience as me, especially as a small influencer, I know I have twenty Five thousand followers, which is huge – that’s just how we are defined by the Industry and by brands, knowing that a lot of influencers have millions of Followers between 10,000 and hundred thousand you’re considered rather small Influencer So there’s basically four main ways to make money on social media.

As a blogger or influencer, The first one is selling your Own products, So a lot of influencers sell ebooks it’s the case. For me, I sell Ebooks on my website about a topic that I’m passionate about Some bloggers have developed products. Some bloggers have developed Their own brands, after having built their community And honestly, I feel, like This is the nicest most authentic way of making a living Of social media, because it’s really a project that you built from scratch and That you’re so passionate about And you’re basically investing a lot of time.

Into it and you’re basically, like a, I, don’t know a business owner and in the Future, that’s one thing that I would love to do It’s way easier after having A community to have a successful brand, because the awareness of the brand is Already there and that’s kind of one of the hardest thing for a brand to have Sales, so that’s helping for sure. Not all the bloggers have sustainable or Authentic brands, just letting you know that a lot of online retail Are a bit suspicious, I’m not going to call names and stuff, but just be careful from where you’re buying your products, The other stream of Income is also organic.

Basically, when you see ads on the side of a blog and When you see ads just before a article or in the article like little pop-ups, these Are basically a contract? Okay, I’m not going to go into details because I’m not Sure about this, but it’s a contract between the advertiser and Google And Obviously, the more the article has view for YouTube. For example, the more the ad Will be seen and we are paid by Google after from a split amount.

I mean it. Depends of the number of views and also the engagement rate of the Blog, If that blog, has a lot of comments or likes on the articles, So Monthly, we can get a check or just a bank transfer from Google. The third Way of income – okay, this article is going to be longer than Ten minutes, The third stream of income is brand partnerships, sponsored Post or sponsored articles So for this, the brand will send the influencer a product To try out and the influencer will talk about it and promote it in a post, a Story, a YouTube, article etc And the influencer is paid for the post and gets A free product as well to try it out J’ai oublié de dire que quand un contenu est sponsorisé l’influencer doit le mentionner avec # ad; # sponsorisé; c’est la loi, Aussi si les produits sont reçus gratuitement; c’est bien de le préciser En revanche encore, plein d’influencer ne Respectent pas ces règles et parfois les marques sont prêtes, à payer plus chères pour que l’influenceur ne mentionnent pas que.

Depending on which influencer you’re following and what their value is, Because it’s very tempting to accept a lot of product and accept a lot of deals. And make a lot of posts, I personally get a lot of emails and requests for Partnerships – it’s very tempting to say yes to everything, although it’s not the Goal for me personally, I want to try the product.

I want to make sure the product Is great I have received products in the past that were not great, so I Decided not to do the post and not being paid about it. The brand is always aware: Of that, before sending me products, and so everything that I talk about, is Always something that I recommend for you, but some influencers may not be As picky about that And then the the fourth final way of Earning money on social media is affiliate programs or being Sponsored and being paid monthly by brands, basically the more you’re helping The brand to make sales the more you earn money, So this is done through discount Codes, not all of the discount codes, are affiliated codes, but Sometimes they are, Which means every time a follower uses your code to make a Purchase the influencer gains money out of it Like a small percentage out of it.

So this is how it’s done basically, the four ways: majority of ways of making Money Now in case, you really have no idea how everything works. What is an Influencer, how come they have partnerships with brands and stuff? I Just want to touch on that really quickly, so why do brands and us Influencers collaborate, It is because, as an influencer, we have built a community Over the years, we have a certain amount of followers people that trust, hopefully What we are saying, what we are recommending and brands see that as a Really good way to make sale, it’s a sale tunnel just another way of Making sales before it was a lot of TV.

You turn on your TV. You see an ad you Want to purchase that thing now you just turn on social media. You see a product That your favorite blogger recommends and you want to purchase it And why do Influencers make those partnerships well mainly because of money honestly, We are doing a lot of free content, some people – sometimes it’s a part-time job – For influencers, but we spend a lot a lot a lot, a lot of time providing free Content, that’s like free articles, free tips, things that you could pay people For nutritional tips recipes anything else, you know yoga tips, Anything that I’m talking about I’m doing it for free, I’m doing it because I Love it all that work has created a community and that’s (, collaborations ), also a way for us.

To make money and to continue to make content that we love to do At the same. Time I want you to understand that not all partnerships are shady or just Money based kind of thing, a lot of my partnerships are actually me being Really really happy to recommend a brand, because I like what they’re doing I Think it’s sustainable and I want to make the world a better place. If I have The opportunity to promote a vegan ethical, sustainable brand and be paid For that like why, wouldn’t I do it? You know Now, let’s get into the subject that Everyone wants to know how much people make out of social media.

How much I make Out of social media, I’m going to tell you everything, because again I have nothing. To hide, I don’t think it’s something that you should know, because yeah you’re Not going to ask a singer how much money they make or an artist how much money they make, but if you’re really interested that’s how it works. Okay, So I’m just Going to give you the example of an Instagram post, otherwise it gets a bit More complicated because there’s different rates and all but the majority Of the time on Instagram, the market price for a post is 1 % of the number followers.

So if you have a hundred thousand follower your price per Post will be a thousand dollars if you have a million. Your price per post will Be a thousand a hat sorry, ten hundred ten thousand, that’s like so Much that I can’t even say it, if you have ten thousand, your price will be a Hundred That’s like a really basic rate that most people have it’s the rate that I have so I ask for 250 per post for myself, what makes it more or less Depending to the market price is the engagement rate of the influencer Just quickly on what that is.

The engagement is the Number of likes comments, shares of a post, so every time that you like a post Comment on a post or share a post, it increases the engagement and the Engagement rate of the blogger, So just so you know, if you like, the person That’s really really cool because you’re supporting that person. But if you don’t Like that person just so you know that you’re also helping them, because Basically, the higher your engagement rate is which brands have access to Those statistic the higher you can ask for money, obviously, because some people Have 10,000 followers and have a very, very low engagement rate? Some have 10,000 and have a very, very high engagement rate.

That means people Commenting people liking people being really really engaged into the community.. The brand will be ready to pay more money for that person. Obviously so just Do you know This is also why a lot of influencers, like myself, I’m not going to Hide anything again, every time we post, we do a story about the new post, for you, To check it out for you to like for you to comment for you to engage because it Is helping us and it’s just a free thing for you: it takes like a second and it Really does help, So I’m not sure you were aware of this, but every time you comment, Also under YouTube article, you like a YouTube article, it really does help you Have no idea it helps to support the blog or the blog that you’re Following to provide you more free content, if that makes sense, Okay, this Article is definitely not a ten minute article, but I just want to say everything: So it’s clear.

The last thing that I want to touch on is the price I Know a lot of people are amazed at how much money we make on social media for One post, let’s say for my example: 250 euro for one post, seems ridiculously High, it’s not that high compared to the industry, but I understand myself: 250 Euro, I know that it’s it’s not negligible amount of money, but know that A post requires a lot of time, a lot of effort.

It’s not just a photo. I mean It depends for which blogger, but for me a post is in between 2 hours, 30 and 6 Hours of work, first of all, sometimes it’s really struggle to get Parcels, especially in Paris, so that’s a lot of time. You know losing time. To get the parcel and stuff, then I mean the story: the creativity, how you want to post what kind of photo you’re going for all this Research process takes time because you don’t want to be like a copycat of Someone and you just don’t want to have a like very basic photo, at least not for Me Then, taking the photo takes time.

Editing the photo takes time. Writing the Caption trying the product because I never receive a product and post right, Away, I always take time to try the product out, so that also requires Time And even just that it might seem quite expensive still but just know, That brands don’t just pay for the content; they also pay for the community. That we have built – and we have built a community with all the other free Content that we’ve provided the community with – and this is like the Majority of our time, for me, it’s like 95 % of my time, working for free and So it’s kind of normal that I ask for a bigger amount of money for the Small amount that I’m sponsored for because the brand actually does pay for The amount of people that will see their ad, if that makes sense, So I know you want to know how much money I make right now being really Transparent with you, I make between four hundred and a thousand euros a month out.

Of search media not included my ebook, not including my ebook, but just The brand sponsorships that I have – I don’t have a lot some months. I have None and some month I have more, but I’m extremely picky, with what I’ve chosen to promote and that’s all So again, this article is not a Complaint On the post, I mentioned that I was really exhausted of brands that do Not pay smaller influencer and just want to send free products, not to mention Most of the time brands do actually have budget and are ready to pay mainstream.

Bigger influencer a lot more money because they’re more visible and Especially sustainable brands that pay a fair salary to their employees like why Do they not pay us a fair salary again, this article was just purely educative and Informative and I don’t want to start a big debate on that, but at the same time I really hope that you learned something or maybe, if you’re a bigger influencer You learned, what’s going on for smaller influencers, that it’s not easy every day, Although we are working the same quality than bigger influencers or if you’re a Brand actually – and this article makes you think I know I’ve received some comments.

Saying that I shouldn’t complain, because I’m so lucky to have that job and I have Not complained about my job and I know I’m lucky but at the same time it’s not Luck, it’s it’s just work, I’m sorry! But it’s work. I have decided to have this Activity as my job and you could too it’s just having your own business or Being self-employed takes a lot of dedication takes a lot of Work, I’m not saying that if you work in an office you’re not working a lot but It’s just something that people don’t really realize.

There’s a lot of work. Behind the scenes, a lot of dedication, a lot of investmen t I’ve lost a lot of money, I mean some month. I don’t make money at all. It’s Tough like having a small business if you’re a brand too, and you can’t afford Paying influencers, I know what it is, but you know at some point you have to start And you have to think what you want. What’s your priority, investing in Influencers may be a really good idea in this digital age.

Google Places Domination- (Local Search) Local Place Profits Webinar Replay

Here’s the agenda: this is what we’re going to go over in this webinar. A brief Google Places basics. What not to do reviews using the review triage system, the best use of coupons, QR codes, building your business and then, if we have time we’ll, do some question and answer so.

The first thing I want to show you is exactly what a what Google Places is and what it is not so in this in this screenshot here, what you see is at the top. What you see is the paid listings so paid results. This is google pay-per-click. If you look at this third listing here, you can see that autumn journey hospice is actually using their google places listing or their their actual address, as an extension to their google adwords, and so that way their phone number and their actual citation shows up in their Google adwords campaign and that’s also called google boost, so there’s a couple of ways you can do that, but that gives them the blue a on the map and then, if you go down here a little bit further you’ll see that now we’re into Google Places – and You can see that these are the top seven listings.

This is what we call the seven pack abcdefg. This is a seven pack, and this is where you want to be so all of our local businesses want to be in the seven pack for their local area, and that’s where you show up at the very top of the Google search page – and this is all Natural, these are not paid results. If we look over here on the right hand, side you can see that there are some paid results underneath the map on the right hand, side as well, really the focus for this webinar is this right here.

This is the seven pack, and this is where we want to be so now. If we actually look at what a Google Places page looks like we can see here that whoops, we can see here that eminent home Healthcare has a very good Google Places, page they’ve maxed it out with pictures. They have a article. They have lots and lots of reviews coming from everywhere from citysearch from superpages from all kinds of different things, so they have reviews, they have maxed out their listing, they have citations and all kinds of good stuff.

So this is an example of an excellent and very well done. Google Places page – and this is what everyone should strive to have – is something that’s maxed out completely put together correctly. Just like this. This is the bottom of their Google Places page and what you can see here is it’s a little cut off, but these are the actually the M, the additional citations for that Google Places page. This is what else Google finds about this business across the internet extremely important, and we’ll talk about that.

So, let’s look at keyword and market research. This is the very first step in deciding and what you want to do with your Google Places page, and this is extremely important for two kinds of people that are on this webinar. I should preface this our back up a little bit and say that the two people listening two kinds of people listening to this webinar number one, our local business owners who want to do this themselves and want to do it correctly and save a little money.

By doing it themselves and the other set of folks that are reading this webinar, our internet, marketers and consultants, marketing consultants who help small businesses get to that top seven pack for Google Places. So this is geared for both of you kind of in the beginning phases, and this gives you the step-by-step on and the basics on how to achieve these results. Now we also have an entire suite of articles like 19 articles that actually walk you through can’t hold.

You the whole way and show you exactly what to do to get in that. Seven pack and those articles are very important, but this webinar just kind of goes over everything all at once. It gives you a real big overview, so you can understand why Google Places is more complicated than it may seem. So, let’s look at keyword, research. The first thing you’re going to want to do is some very targeted keyword, research, you’re, going to want to find out what people are typing in.

To look for your business is your location, and once you know the answer to that, then you are. It can be very laser focused on how to get your business to the seven pack. So this what you see on the screen here is actually a google adwords keyword, research tool, so you can use this for free, there’s no cost to it, and what I did here is you can see right here. This says seafood restaurant in san, diego right here I actually pretended like.

I had a client who is a seafood restaurant in san diego, and so what I can see based on these results that you can see they’re pretty small. But what you can see here is that they actually have about a thousand global monthly searches, but I what I really want to see are the exact searches. So if I change over here on the left-hand side to exact match types, then I can see that on a monthly basis about a hundred and forty people are typing in exact searches for the keyword phrase seafood restaurant in San Diego and that’s what I want to Know so those are a hundred and forty opportunities from my client to get a someone inside their restaurant because people are looking for that.

So that’s what I want to focus on and that’s how I do this is not the entire way. You do keyword research, but this is a good beginning to keyword, research, understanding what people are typing in, so that you know where you should be showing up on Google Places and for what keyword terms. The next thing you want to do is assess your clients are Institute current location or current situation. So is your client or are you on the in the top seven already, and what do you need to do to maintain that if you’re not in the top seven, if you’re not even near the top seven, what can you do to change that so assess your Current situation and then assess the competition status.

This is where it gets fun. You can learn a lot from what your competition is doing. So let’s say that the fish market in San, Diego is my competition, and I want to learn as much as I can about what they’re doing so that I can do it too, and I can beat them at their own game. So the first thing I’m going to do is I’m going to appear at the very top I’m going to check out their website. I actually want to see what kind of keywords are using on their website and then I want to look at the categories that they’ve chosen for the Google Places page and the first one.

They chose a seafood restaurant. They also chose some custom categories that they typed in, and I want to find out what those are too and if they apply to me, then I want to look at the tons of reviews they have and from multiple places. So Google is aggregating and grabbing from the internet all these different reviews on the fish market, restaurant, and so I want to know where those reviews are coming from and what I want to do is make sure that my business is listed on all those review sites.

So that I can get reviews there too, and I can beat the fish market at its own game, and I guarantee you if you look really closely at this page. This wasn’t done just by the people that own the fish market they actually hired. Someone to take care of this for them very, very smart indeed, especially in a competitive market like San Diego seafood restaurant. Then, if I look down, of course, they’ve got all our photos are maxed out and they’ve got article.

Then, if I look at the menu right here, they actually have sorry they have a live link to their menu, and this is great because you can put a live link to just about anything within the details section of Google Places and you want to make sure You’re doing that, that’s a page rank 10 back link to your website and that’s something you definitely want to go for and then down here. You can see more reviews from the web and I definitely want to take advantage of that look into those reviews and find out as much as I can about.

What’s going on with the fish market, restaurant and then Google Places basics. You want to write up your plan once you have established your keyword, research, you understand what your competition is doing. You know where you’re located right up your plan, so the the plan will involve these things, and this is where you get out a pen and paper and you write it down. I will optimize the following: five high-volume keyword phrases, so you want to take five keyword, phrases that you’ve researched and you want to make sure you’re optimizing that only your website what your Google Places page for those five high-volume keyword phrases.

You want to take a look at your categories, decide what they need to be going to look at some secondary keywords that you might be interested in also optimizing for. You want to look at your citation and most people don’t understand what a citation is. So I’m going to tell you right now: what a citation is your citation is the exact name of your company without any keywords added to it. That would be called keyword stuffing the exact street address and the you know, city, state, zip code and the exact local.

Not toll-free but local telephone number, so your citation is your exact business name, your exact business address and location and your exact business local phone number. That is your citation write it down exactly the way you want to appear on Google Places and exactly the way you wanted to appear everywhere else, including your website other directory listing sites. It should be the same across everything and then your website SEO take a look at what your keyword phrases are that you’ve done your research on and look at your website.

Does it have the same keyword phrases you need to match everything up and make sure it’s all very consistent, very relevant and all together make sense your description. You have a 200 character limit description for Google Places. That’s also a good rule of thumb for your website. Behind the scenes, you’re allowed to put a description of each page of your website, so you want to make sure you find out what description you want to use and you want to use it consistently across your website and your Google Places pages in your directory listings.

Hugh ponds and offers people aren’t making the most out of coupons and offers, so I would encourage you to do the best you can to get all kinds of coupons and offers out there on the table, make sure that people are aware of them and really use This to your advantage, because most people – don’t it’s important – that you do, then I want you to go to express, update, USA com and enter you or your clients, exact citation their address, their name, their phone number.

All of that into this program. This is extremely important. Express update, USA is a division of info USA com where you can buy mailing lists Express update. Usa com is an aggregator of data. So when you go there and put your information in your information is shared with lots of other places across the internet. It’s sort of like a validation service, so you want to make sure that your client citation is exactly correct in Express update, USA, what not to do! First of all and when you’re filling out your Google Places page, you do not want to engage in keyword stuffing.

So if you look at the top of the page there, you see American care partners at home. It does not say American care partners at home in fairfax in Falls Church in Arlington in Virginia. It just says American care partners at home. That’s the name of the company, that’s the end of the story. We don’t add anything to that and then, if you look down a little bit next you’ll see local number. Only. Please only use a local number here.

If you use a toll-free number, your listing simply will not show up the question becomes. Can you use a VoIP number? Can you use a cell phone number and the answer is this: if you intend on being consistent across all websites all directory listings and your Google Places page, you can use any local number that you want, but if you start mixing them up and adding different things Here and different things there then you’re going to confuse the Google monster and you’re not going to show up at all so use the same phone number everywhere across the board for your listings, email address.

I see a lot of listings missing an email address, even if it’s one that’s just for a general mailbox or maybe it’s one that you set up this just for junk mail. Please always enter an email address for contact information and then the website don’t ever click. I don’t have a website, you do, have a website do something, but you must have a website and never choose the option to not show your full address.

You always need to choose your full show your full address, or you will simply not have a listing on Google Places so make sure that the information on your website matches the description in your Google Places page and then, if we keep going down, we go down To categories when you fill in your categories, the first category needs to be one. That’s found on Google and they’ll, give you their list and then, after that, the other four can be ones that you customized yourself.

So just use your keywords, use them wisely and click and make sure that they’re not stuffed with location information. So Google Places advice, no keyword stuffing, no peel boxes. No, you cannot use peel boxes, you cannot use UPS stores and you cannot use mail boxes etc. You can look at Google’s Terms of Service to see this. You cannot use any of those services. Virtual offices like, for instance, sold by Regis re G, us calm, Regis calm.

They have virtual offices worldwide. You can rent one for around 100 bucks a month. That’s a much better option than having no listing at all. In most cases do not use toll-free numbers, you can use them as a secondary number, but not as a primary number. No duplicate listings. You cannot have multiple listings under different names and titles that will get you delisted completely, no fakery or ridiculous insanity that covers everything else that you might think that you might try when it comes to Google Places.

Don’t do it be consistent, be real and be relevant. Don’t piss off the Google monster because if you play you will pay and you if you get delisted, orb and then you’re simply out of the picture for Google Places. Don’t do that to your client? Don’t do that to yourself set up the Google Places page now. I’m not going to go into great detail on this, because you can look at all the Google Terms of Service and support for setting up a Google Places page.

So we won’t go into that here, plus we have 19 articles that walk you step-by-step through the process of setting up Google Places and give you all the tips tricks and hints, as you go as to what to do to make sure you’re getting the most bang For your buck and then you want to track the results. Google Places provides its own set of analytics. You can see here that this listing had 1299 impressions in the last 30 days and of those impressions.

363 people took action so 23, clicked on more info. For the maps 308 clicked for driving directions and 32 clicked on to the website, that’s excellent results. You can also see the top search queries and where people requested driving directions from so top search. Queries shows that when American care partners has typed in they got 60 impressions from that they got 55 from home care. They got 43 from the word living, caregivers, assisted living and on and on it doesn’t give us the detail that we would like to see under other, which is 930 other search, queries that we show for but at least we have some basic knowledge of where we’re Getting our impressions and then driving directions now this is really important for florists, chiropractors, dentist, retail spaces and even other service providers.

I want to know where people are requesting driving in directions in direction. Information from because I may be very surprised at where people are coming from to find my shop or my store, so I’m in this case this is a service provider who goes out to the home. So most of these folks don’t need to drive to this office, but you can see that alexandria has the most requests: advanced, page techniques, the power of citations, the what who and the how.

So if we go back to our example of the seafood restaurant in san diego, we can see that the AXI food restaurant has lots of Google Places citations examples here and if you look at the very bottom left hand corner, you can see that there actually a Hundred and forty more so if I were trying to beat them at this game, what I would do is I would look at every place that they’re listed and I would go in and try to get my client or my business if it were.

If, if I’m doing this myself listed on all the places that they’re listed on, because obviously Google likes to aggregate data from those websites, so that’s the first thing I would do Google Places advanced. The advanced techniques mean that you want to look at the competition citations. You want to copy them and you want to one-up them. It’s that simple. It does take a lot of time, a lot of effort and a lot of energy and sometimes an entire team of people to make this happen, but you can do it local SEO.

Your website metadata and I’ve said this before – should match your Google Places. Data should match all other directory listings data. So when you’re filling out your Google Places information make sure that everything else you do matches what Google Places says and you’ll have much more success off-site. Linking now should you be creating backlinks to your Google Places page. This means and people ask this question, because what backlinks are are links to typically to your website and the more backlinks.

Your website has the more authority it has and the it shows up. So the question becomes: if your Google Places page has a lot of links to it, will it show up better in the Google Places rankings, and I don’t think I think the jury’s still out on this? It does not hurt to get backlinks to your Google Places. Page each Google Places page has its own unique URL, so it never hurts to get backlinks to it.

Although you have to realize this, the continuous addition of citations and information about your clients, local business referencing, their nad, which is their name, address telephone number website, etc. In other words, their citations – this is one of the most effective ways to increase listing rank so that in reviews those the two first things you should be focusing on not necessarily backlinking to the Google Places page.

So when it’s all said and done and you’ve tried everything else and you’ve done anything else, then go for the backlinking. That might be something that you outsource article and Google Places. Ok, so just a little information. This is kind of our secret sauce. If you go to any of the articles that we upload for our clients, we put their exact citation in there YouTube in the description of the article we put their exact citation from google places in that section for the description of their article.

We always do that. It gives them extra citations and it works very, very well – the review triage system, what who and how? Ok. So let’s talk about reviews for a minute if you’re a restaurant – and you have a thousand reviews, the review triage system is not one that you necessarily need to use, but for everybody else, who’s not in the restaurant, entertainment industry or the travel industry. If you’re a plumber, if you’re a painter, if you’re a lawyer, a home care agency, a roofer or whatever, you might not have as many reviews as a restaurant with a thousand reviews, everybody knows that when lots and lots of reviews build up, there’s always bound to Be a few negative ones in there.

That’s completely normal and completely human nature, and we wouldn’t have it any other way so of a thousand review. Several of them may be a little on the negative side, but they kind of get buried by all the good stuff. So that’s okay, but if you’re somebody that doesn’t have any reviews or not many reviews or your industry doesn’t typically get a lot of reviews, then the most important thing you could do is use what’s called a review triage system.

This is a program that we develop. So that you only get the most positive reviews, but they are real reviews and they are from your customers. So what we do is we set up a website? That’s just for the review system. So we have it. Our client who’s. The business owner asked their customers to please go to a dedicated website, that’s just for them and leave some reviews. There are several questions that they’re asked it’s just basically, yes, no rating on the scale of one to five and then a little place where they can add some text and lots of clients are happy to do that.

They don’t have to. They don’t have to create accounts, they don’t have to do anything. They just go and leave their a review and they’re done once the review is done. That review is automatically emailed to us and to our client. So we can each take a look at it and decide if that review needs to move on to step 2. If it’s a really good review, it moves to step 2. If it’s not a good review, then the client are, but the business owner goes back to the customer to try to resolve the issues and that review never sees the light of day.

If it’s a great review, then we summarize it we send it back to the customer and say we would love for you to share this wonderful review with the rest of our community. Would you please put it on Google Places, yelping, yahoo or whatever, and we give them the link to do so. So this we have all of the scripts written out all of the emails written out. We have for anybody, that’s not so much in the elder care industry.

That’s the one you’re looking at here, but for anybody who’s, not the elder care industry. Like a plumber, a painter auto repair shop, whatever it is, you can actually incentivize clients by maybe giving them a free oil change or ten dollar gift card to starbucks or whatever. So you might want to think about the ways you can incentivize somebody to go through the kind of hassle factor of leaving a review on a review site and there’s a lot more to this, and we will have a product together just for the review triage system.

Only you want to look at what your competition is doing. First, this data and research comes from local SEO guy. Actually they have four and when, if you are looking at them on your mobile phone, this is what you would see. You would see that they have some good information now. Only one of these coupons actually has a phone number in it.

This one over here on the right. All of them should have a phone number in them, and the reason is that, if you’re on your mobile phone, a phone number like this is one that you can just click on and automatically dial huffman brothers. So that’s something that they should include in every coupon plus there’s opportunity to put a picture in here, and so they should have a picture in each one of these here’s an example.

This is my listing. I just put this up as a quick example. If you know that most of the customers that are coming to your store or your website or two are looking for, you are using a PC or a laptop, you might consider putting a QR code with a dis special discount in your in your in your coupons And the reason I say that is that you can actually once somebody uses their smartphone to capture or to scan that QR code.

You can actually then capture their name, their phone number, their email address whatever it is, you want, so you can get more data from them if they they scan it. Now. The problem with this is, if you’re, a restaurant or you’re doing this for a restaurant or an entertainment, venue or travel industry. You don’t want to use QR codes in your coupons because they will show up on the actual cell phone and then they’re not scalable by the cell phone.

So this only is a good strategy when it’s done for businesses that you know, people are searching from their pc or laptop, but just sort of an example of what can be done. The next. The one of the important things to know is that Google Offers is in its beta phase right now and it’s a really only active in portland oregon and it’s just getting started, but it will be a competitor of Groupon and several other things.

If you have your Google Places act together, you will then have your google offers act together. So, if they’re, for no other reason, you want to make sure that you have google offers together and our google places together so that when google offers comes to your town, you can make the most of it. Google Maps and Google Places. Many people know what my maps is and if you don’t that’s, okay, it still exists, but it used to be that they would show up on Google Places pages and they don’t anymore because everybody spam them.

So what we do is we create a dynamic google map of our clients, location and we place it on their website. So if you look at any of our websites, you’ll see that each of them in several places, has a google map actually on the website. Now this is not a screenshot, it’s actually a dynamic map. So if you were to put your pointer on it and move around or click on it, it actually does stuff it moves around with you it you can actually click on the directions or show service area or more or rate it.

You can click on these things and you can actually make them work, so this is not a screenshot. This is an actual dynamic map and the embed code is on the Google Places page QR codes. This is a part I love. So if you want to know more about QR codes, you should first of all take the time to pull out your smartphone and scan this one and then you’ll see what I’m talking about so actually I just did this one in a mysterious way.

It’s a picture. So if you know me at all, you’ll know why I picked this picture, but anyway you can use QR codes for lots of things and they are going to fast become one of the most interesting ways to market your business, especially local businesses, so be sure to Pay attention to this vast company’s top 13 lists. Qr codes on business cards for scavenger hunts for labeling, for storefront displays, promotions, discounts and giveaways laptop stickers.

T-Shirts get funky with your QR code design by making it pink blue multi colored use. Qr codes to get like some follows on your facebook supplement, your retail space, increase your ecommerce sales, build your email subscriber list and get the phone ringing. In fact, you could. You know, instead of for a good time, call Jane. You can just create a QR code with James phone number on it. Stick it up all over the place and then lots of people will call Jane and I’m kind of just kidding.

Don’t do that. But anyway, it’s very funny: ok and then let’s talk about building your business. If you are the internet, marketer or the consultant, let’s talk about you for just a minute. First of all, you have lots of tools to your advantage. If you’re a traffic geyser person, you have influenced engines, local search, results, screen shots and other online tools of show placement. You should use all of them for pricing.

I always charge a setup fee at a monthly legacy fee to and to help your client. Your client understand more about why you need a monthly fee beats the simple rule of you cannot set it and forget it in this case. This is not a Ron Popeil product and you just can’t set it and forget it. You have to list everything so that the customer has a clear understanding of the amount of work involved on a monthly basis and folks, let me tell you there is a lot of work involved.

You need to you, have a choice. You can charge a high setup fee or a low setup fee and a higher monthly recurring fee, which makes the most sense in this economic environment. For you, my guess is that maybe a lower setup fee and a higher monthly recurring fee makes more sense because it becomes more digestible, easy to buy it off and chew. For the small business owner, I will say that for look for google places we do.

Custom quotes for anybody who wants us to do a Google Places program exclusively, and the reason is that, if you’re in New York City in your restaurant – and you want to be on the seven pack and you’re located in manhattan – guess what it’s going to cost you A lot more money for me to get you spend the time to get you on the top seven than it is for me to do that for you, if you’re a restaurant in West winnemucca North Dakota, where there is very little competition, so we always custom quote: Not because we think somebody else can afford more or less it’s because location, demographics, geography all play a role and how difficult or how easy it might be to get somebody in the top.

Seven so always make sure you check around a new little research before you throw out quotes for Google Places. Results, show results screen shots from before to after never miss an opportunity to show your client results and show prospects results. I Think My Website Is Hacked! How to Know and How to Fix It

On your website and force a bitcoin ransom, or something like that SEO spam, which infects your Website with spam keywords and pages, not a good look And then there’s also things Like Crypto-Miners adware, that kind of stuff, Nobody Wants that on their website, Nobody want’s that right. No, So it’s not just something! That affects computers. It affects websites too. Yes, websites are definitely At risk – and you want to make sure that you are taking steps – To monitor your environment and protect it and having A plan for response is also very important.

How big of an issue really is this? Well, there’s a stat out. There that says, there’s about 75 % chance that a business Is going to be attacked And right now they say there: Is about 40 % of traffic to your website? Is actually Bots and about half of that is malicious, bots Ugh. That is gross Yeah, it’s not good. No, so how do we go about? Identifying, if our site is infected with malware Well, what you can do, Is you can run a scan on your website? We have a tool called Sucuri site check.

You can also just monitor Your activity logs, if you have somebody who can do that, Maybe a developer – You also wan na make sure That you’re practicing good password management, making sure that you’re users are set with the permissions. That they should have So obviously the least Privileged principle, you wan na make sure that They only have admin for as long as they need it. And then you put them back down to the role level that they need Right on, So that site check is great.

Are there anything that Like super obvious that we should be checking Is it like on Google? Is there on our website? What does that? Look like Yeah? Definitely Well, One of the biggest things is to make sure you’ve updated your site, A lot of the problems. That we see are because of websites that are out of date and have security, vulnerabilities Updates, don’t always mean new features. Sometimes they mean that You’re, actually, you know patching a security flaw that Would let a hacker get in and then do whatever they Want with your website Right, So I was actually Talking to when I was just a customer service, rep at Godaddy I had a customer on the line.

She basically had an interactive book site for little children And she was using WordPress She hasn’t really touched in a while And little kids go on there to read books with their parents. She was unfortunately hacked And the thing that they did was redirect them to a not so great site for little kids. So little Timmy was seeing Some very very adult things So super scary. Is there anything else There was something About Google, you said Like the SCO: What is that Yeah SCO spam is another Really bad one where they inject pages and Keywords into your site, It can show up in your Google search when people are looking for your brand and you’ll see pharmaceuticals, gambling stuff Like discount fashion spam, it’s pretty nasty The malicious redirects That you’re talking about are also terrible cause.

They’re taking your traffic and sending them to like another website, that’s maybe unsavory And you know that’s not A good look for your brand: It causes a loss of trust, So it’s definitely not ideal. Having a website firewall in Place is a really great step to mitigate that It forces All traffic to go through the firewall first Before The visitors hit your website and it also has the Benefit of speeding it up by cashing and using our CDN network, So the firewall is kinda.

Like digging a moat around your house and keeping All the bad neighbors out The in-laws, Anyone that you Don’t want to come in Right, Yeah there you go. That’s One way to look at it: (, laughs, ), All right, Alycia, So website is hacked I’m running around. I’m Screaming that the world is on fire to me right, How do I get this out of here? Yeah? That’s a really Important point, and not a lot of people, have a Response plan in place, Obviously, if you have Somebody you can trust who can remove the malware And has those technical skills that’s a great way to go? There are some tools that can Remove things automatically, but that doesn’t always catch a lot of the hidden back doors.

An attacker will always Try to leave some way to get back in If you just You know go in and clean up the spam pages and keywords the next day, they’re back in And your sites reinfected and a lot of that is Automated on the hackers part, So if you wan na take steps, There are some guides out there. We have one on sucuri.Net on how to clean your hacked website scan for malicious files in the database, and then you can just remove The pieces of malware manually, But generally you probably Want to contact a professional and have them help you Out, It’s usually going to be a bit faster and, like I said they’ll make sure those back doors are gone and that you’ve been removed.

From any blacklists as well, That’s another really important. Point is you don’t want to get blacklisted by Google, Nobody likes that, Then you’re rankings are gone And an important thing to Remember is these hackers they don’t care who you Are They don’t care what your site is about? They just care about hacking. Your site and making money off of you, So it’s not Personal, They just send out their bots to anything that they can find They get in They’re in Automation is super scary, They’ll just write a little script go, get a coffee and Come back and they’ll have a list of like thousands of WordPress websites that they might wan na attack, It’s not ideal and then They can further automate the attacks from there And again small websites.

Are fine because they can use your server resources? They Can use it for SEO spam to try to get other sites To rank that they want They’ll, just use your Resources They can even use your site to attack bigger sites Wow Like what does that look like So like? Let’s say you Are a hacker and you have a bot net of like a Thousand infected websites: You can use the power of all Those servers to launch attacks on like a larger company, So a DDos attack right Yeah, A DDos attack, So, essentially with that you can think of it as like a highway And there’s you know: cars Getting into your website and the hacker is flooding That highway with a bunch of fake cars and now no Real people can actually get into your website And that’s no good And Then all that traffic’s down and it looks like you’re doing it – ( laughs, ), Yeah yeah, nobody Wants to come to a website and see that blank white Loading page, like you know, most visitors, will leave a Website, after like three seconds of waiting for it, To load and it can cause you know a lot of of Disruption for conversion rates and that kind of stuff, So Not ideal for your business, No, and I mean, if you think, About a hacked site right, If your website ever gets Hacked like, if you have a visitor that comes there, they’re likely never coming back.

They’ve lost the trust with your business, Because, if you can’t Protect your own site, how can you protect their information Totally, It’s doubly important if you’re an eCommerce site, Even if you have gateways for Payment that are not hosted on your site, Like through Paypal or Authorize.Net or anything You still have to be PCI Compliant and make sure that you’re protecting the details, Of the people on your site Now with the website and Security we’ve talked about like the malware removal.

And things like that, Should our customers and Our audience really have an SSL on the site, too. Is that important? Yes, absolutely SSL is Awesome and a lot of people equate SSL with security. What SSL does is it makes Sure that any communication between the visitors Browser and your website is encrypted, So it’s data in transit, that’s being protected. Ssl doesn’t actually help Your website from not getting attacked by a hacker But Ssl is still very important.

It’s a ranking signal for Google, So it can help your website get to the top Of Google, if you have SSL And it’s just rapidly Becoming kind of defacto that you have to have SSL On your website as a way to establish trust with your visitors, I love it And that Trust thing is important Cause if you don’t have An SSL on your site, top left of the browser, says “ Not Secure”, To an everyday person. They See “ Not Secure” they’re out, So after we’ve cleaned up the malware.

What should we do going? The Sequence Editor Resurrected – Nathan Lovato

We have a lot of people you’re crazy. The article sequence editor was meant or might have been removed in blender 2.8 C, but it made it thankfully, for better or for worse so in this presentation, we’re going to talk about that about the good side of the sequence editor the bad side.

If there are any the recent improvements that happened in the project, because it is an active development again, even if it’s a little slow we’re going to talk about the future of the sequencer or what it could be, at least and finally, we’ll talk about how you Can help it become bits or it’s meant to be I’m Nathan, I founded a small social company, called GD quest game design, quest we make tutorials with and for free software that we use exclusively.

In this case, the three ones following this led me to become occasional contributor to blender, because we edit our our articles with the article sequencer all our tutorials, we created an add-on that is included in blender 2.

81 called power sequencer to help you create articles better. It helps to edit faster and, as a result, yet I’m now working on the sequencer itself, making small contributions to help push things forward. Now, if you’ve used the sequencer, you should know one thing: the sequence sucks the sequence, this sucks because it is slow. The cursor is always lagging behind. It’s also making the UI freeze as soon as you have a little too much to render the cuts in your footage can provoke Micro phrases as you are playing back, even if you are using proxies all things like these.

The effects are pretty demanding and, finally, the article rendering process is very long. I’m really talking about the sequence, editor area, not the rest of blender, because it got nice upgrades with 2.

80, but the visuals of the sequencer feel behind the rest of blender making it feel like it’s unfinished or lacks a bit of polish. The sequencer has clunky controls. You know these. The green and pink sequences you can see are effect sequences. There are an intuitive they get in the way they make it hard to use the sequencer that are confusing in general, also basic editing operations that are kind of standard.

In other article, editing programs don’t work exactly the same way in the sequencer and are inconsistent between tools making it harder to use than it could be the sequence that does not feel parts of blender. It really feels like its own program a bit separate from the rest. You can add a 3d free footage as a scene in the sequencer, but here you have an example of trying to grade a strip that you select using the compositing area and just noting have.

Instead, you have to use the same functionality, that’s duplicated in the sequencer and that’s specific to strips applying a curve. In this case, all your tools are really bad. Once that’s all the audio tools and the sequence editor, there is no way to preview your audio. There are no effects, the mixer and the crossfades, it’s just limited. You have to use something else to do audio editing. I lied because I think that the sequencer is amazing.

Kind of it has a lot of potential. First, it’s the most stable, free and open-source article editing tool that I’ve used and even commercial software tends to crash. I know if anyone has used Sony, Vegas or Premiere. I’ve had lots of issues with them. Can anyone relate yes, a few persons? Thank you. The sequencer has crashed on me once or twice with a reproduce, reproductive or bug, but overall I’ve had a great experience using it.

Another thing that’s really important is that can keep editing your projects during playback, so you can playback the article and move handles at the same time it just works. The sequencer is parts of blender. Okay. There are connections lacking between some areas, like the ability to use the node compositor to grade your shots, but it’s only one new area to learn, not an entire new program, so as a blender user, as someone working on a 3d or a 2d movie, this is Great because you can use the G shortcut to grab a strip to make it move, you can add 3d scenes as trips as well.

So there’s some consistency with the rest of blender and some connection with some other features in the program. It also benefits from blender, that is, the sequence area, is not a complete program, a complete projects for developers to make from scratch. Instead, every improvement to the animation tools, for example the improvements to the user interface and landed upon 80 or the new file browser.

That’s coming in the next version are all usable with the sequencer. It’s not something separate that would take extra maintenance, giving it a lot of potential. Once again, the sequencer is flexible. If you have a team, if you have a developer in-house, can use the Python programming language to add new features. You also have existing add-ons that you can use to add features like the ability to there.

We go transform strips directly from the preview, a feature that’s lacking, so you can change the opacity of your footage. You can change the position, the scale, the rotation, all sorts of things, then I should say that the sequencer is already part of the way there. Of course it needs improvements, but it already does a lot. It’s already there and it’s already used by animators by professionals, so it has hopefully its place in the program.

It’s been used for storyboarding and annotations by the animations articles by the blender animations to use. So hopefully the sequencer is here to stay, especially now that we have a maintainer for a very long time. That was the problem. There was no one willing to dive into that very old code and make it up to date, but we have someone, even though he’s working part-time at the moment, leading the work done by other contributors and helping it move forward.

Now the sequencer lacks one thing: it’s lacking a vision, it’s lacking some concept, some design goals and target users that are very specific and help funnel down the development. One problem that we have on the VSC blog on the online chat that you have people coming to request all kinds of features. That’s are specific to the needs of article ads. Work on movies on TV shows all those kinds of things and there’s not even there’s.

Not enough people to devote all that, but it would also not necessarily make sense as part of blender itself, because the sequencer is not a article editing suite Val, dedicated free software project like be a leave editor that definitely and specifically targets professional article editors. That’s very promising: there is KD in life for people, editing articles in general, so doing the same thing as part of blender would not necessarily be meaningful.

After all, it’s a digital content creation tool, the sequences really a sequence view. So right now, as I was saying, it feels like a program of its own, a little separate from the rest, but the graph editor, the file browser and other areas just interact with other parts of blender. You can use them in conjunction. The sequencer doesn’t always feel that way. If you see it as a way to view your blender projects as a set of sequences that you can move back and forward in time and edit, it would make a little more sense.

Like the NLA. Editor non-linear animation tools. It could be a tool for virtual filmmaking. You have the example of unity stools right now. We discussed that with some blender developers on the chart. Again, it’s nothing set in stone, of course, but it’s a possible direction formed at all like there is no tool in the free software world to allow you to just how could I say edit sequence, your movies, where you can preview work directly from the 3d scene, Jump around your shots by moving forward in the timeline, those kinds of things, and there are some game engines that are doing that right now.

The thing is blender 2.80 already has the Evo rendering engine that would be a perfect match for those needs. Now there are some improvements that are being made right now and that are coming in the next versions of blender. You have improvements to playback and rendering, let’s say in general, the pre H is the ability for the sequencer to cache and render the frames ahead of time. Just like you would see in something like after effects, for example, so that you can then get smooth playback.

So you edit two parts of your vo and the next frames, are already pre-rendered and you can work seamlessly. It works in the memory and on the disk, it’s already coming in the next version and will keep being improved moving forward. You have some tweaks being made to improve storyboarding with blender, so this is the hero movie. You can see that it’s using strips in the top right corner there’s a problem with the fact that you can’t jump from a scene strip in the sequencer.

So you can add some animation as a sequence in blender, but you can’t easily jump back and forth between the 2d view and the sequence strip. There are improvements coming to the user interface. There are features in blender that are really powerful in the sequencer. The thing is now more confusing than they could be and we have pizza fog, a contributor working with William who’s, working on UI and blender, and other contributors simplifying everything, making it clear what works.

When you know what options do so, every panel is being remade right now, one by one you’re going to have some improvements to editing you’re going to see the toolbar from the rest of blender appear with a bit of delay, but it’s coming making the tools much Easier to use much more discoverable, you also have a working progress patch to show thumbnails on the articles, that’s also happening and, in general, a variety of quality of life improvements.

Now, let’s talk about the future a possible future. Again, there is no clear roadmap at the moment, but we have improved user experience as a goal, making it much smoother using the sequencer for the first time for first-time users and for artists, modernizing the look, maybe a little bit moving the clunky FX modifiers to be Consistent with the rest of blender, making the experience smoother in general, one thing that Richard the maintainer wants to do is a sequencer timeline: API.

Okay, it’s getting a bit technical, but the idea is that, right now you can’t use footage with different frame rates in blender. You have all kinds of issues with that. The thing is: Pixar developed, open timeline, IO, a an interchange format, a data format that you can use to kind of standardize. How you handle footage the position on the bones, the length of the strips and those kinds of things.

This would bring quite a few advantages and improvements in the sequencer, for you, the user, being able to just put the footage in the sequencer and have it work. But it would also be much easier for developers to contribute. I mean I’m picking up see working on the sequencer is really hard. You would also have the ability to change the playback speed right now. We use a hack in advance to do that, but you might be able to play at 20 % faster 40 % faster, the kinds of things you see in general and article editing programs and that save you time editing articles the improvements coming to color management.

I should say fixes, I don’t have a great understanding of that to be honest, but I saw that some bug that would prevent you from using color management and the sequencer has been fixed recently and are people reporting issues that they have so hopefully this will get Better moving forward, another thing that the maintainer Richard wants is to make these features from a great add-on called the VSC transform part of the sequence itself.

I’ve heard that there was work being done on widgets to manipulate 2d images and we could bring that to the sequence editor as well, so that you could just move stuff select stuff from the article preview. Finally, there’s always the project to improve performances in the sequencer whence coming. I don’t know, but at least a fair part of the operations need to be modified to use all of your own computers power.

Here you have a article being rendered in the background. It’s using roughly two calls 30 % of the CPU power, it’s not using the graphics card and our improvements that can be made there. Finally, as I was saying, if the idea of pushing the sequence into the virtual filmmaking direction is taken by the team by the developers sequencing movies being able to preview, all the shots from the sequence using Eevee could be something for the future.

Now you can help with that, whether you are a developer or an experienced developer or not, because there is a lot of work to do. You can make a difference by helping with code. Of course, as Richard himself says, batches are always welcome. You can use see all now you can develop in Python. Python developers are welcome to add new features to refine some existing features that are made in Python.

Consistency in Sales with Weldon Long | Sales Expert Insights Series

How you doing! Welcome yeah, I’m doing great man thanks for out thanks for skyping, looking forward to this yeah and for those of you who may not know Weldon, he is and a lot of you already do. He is a New York Times best seller with the power of consistency. He’s an entrepreneur sales expert: he has driven fortune 5 fortune 5 size and companies to unbelievable heights in revenue generation.

So Weldon really looks really knows what he’s talking about, and what I wanted to ask Weldon about today was about his book, the power of consistency and – and why is consistency so important for sales number one and second? Why is it something that perhaps we overlooked a lot at the time? Yeah, that’s a great question. You know, I think the the benefit of consistency is very simple. We all know that consistent sales activities produce consistent sales results, random sales activities, random sales results right.

It’s not rocket science, if you think about the operations and manufacturing side of business, let’s think of a computer chip manufacturer if they used on a random process and their engineering and their development and the manufacturing of their chips, they just kind of walked in the factory. Each day – and sometimes they do this – and sometimes they do that – we all know that the quality of the computer chip would be really really bad without a lot of unhappy customers.

So we understand instinctively from a manufacturing operations perspective that we have to have a process. Unfortunately, when it comes to sales, we don’t apply that same level of the need for consistency. We oftentimes think that we could just kind of show up on a sales call, and just you know, rely on our wits and our communication skills. The problem is, if we don’t have a consistent sales process, we’re not going to have consistent sales results.

In other words, when you look at a sales process, kind of the basic four components build a relationship investigate the problem solve the problem. Ask for the order, if we’re random in that process, then we’re going to get the same kind of results that the manufacturing facility would get if they had a random manufacturing process. We’re going to have very inconsistent sales results. So when I talk to salespeople, you know it’s like if, if your process are your results, rather, if your results are sometimes good and sometimes bad and sometimes good, and some that is by definition, random results yeah those random results are not coming from consistent sales.

I totally agree with you, so why is it then that in some areas of sales there has been this resistance to the idea of process or consistency, and some people will hide that behind the you know, it’s a kind of an art, and I do it my Way and they do it their way, and I just you know I don’t want to interfere with it and processes for other people, it’s not for us. Well, I think that it’s a great question, John, listen salespeople.

We tend to be a little bit more on the creative side versus you know the the organized side right, it’s kind of what makes us good. We have great communication skills, we can schmooze, we can kiss hands, we can shake babies or whatever that thing do all that stuff, and we kind of look at you know a sales process as being put in a straitjacket right so exhibiting used to often say that If you don’t have a sales process, in other words, if you don’t have a process you have to have when he call they can the presentation to be successful in sales.

Now, if it sounds like a can presentation, you’re going to be toast right, but you have to have a process. I think we resist it. There’s two reasons number one. I think we see ourselves as more creative communicators and we don’t like the restrictions. The kind of the process kind of puts on us and we got to be in a straitjacket, but I think the other thing is – and this is a big part of my book, both in our consistency and my new book consistency selling.

The bottom line is that we all face challenges in life and those challenges come down to three types: money, problems, relationship problems and health problems and the key to success in sales. The key to success in life. He is learning how to prosper in the face of those challenges right. It’s not that successful people somehow avoid money problems or avoid relationship problems or avoid health problems.

Is that they’re very good at dealing with those things and what happens off times? Is that we’re going out or making a sales call, and we have some personal problem or some financial problem, and it distracts us, and so we just kind of wing it this. The the key to success is learning how to prosper in all areas of our life. In the face of those challenges, that’s what I really talk about in both of those books.

You know how do you, how do you thrive and prosper in the face versus my life is? My life has been a textbook example of diversity. I spent 25 years of my life on the streets. I spent 13 years in prison when I was thirty years old, I was living in a homeless shelter, so I know all about adversity. What I’ve learned is that, if you can learn to deal with that adversity and prosper in the face of that, that’s where success comes in in terms of the process, consistency has kind of two folds and we can talk about these in detail number one.

Is the sales person sales professional doing the same things over and over? The second component of consistency is from the consistency theory right. So if I tell you as a customer, if I tell you that price is not the most important factor in my decision mmm-hmm and the hour later, I start you know complaining about the price right yeah. Those are inconsistent statements and the key is to hold prospects accountable to their previous declarations.

So and it’s interesting thing about the adversity piece right, because sales is all about adversity right because I mean it’s the one, it’s the one, it’s the one job where know is for you here know more than anything else right. So what is the key to learning? How to face up to adversity rather than outsource it? If you like or just say, oh well, there’s nothing I could do you know the reality is every time we come into a sales opportunity, there’s going to be difficulties right, there’s going to be obstacles, we’re going to have customers who want a cheaper price, we’re going To have customers who want to think about it, we’re going to have customers who want to talk to our competition.

The key in sales, just like in life, is learning how to thrive in the face of those obstacles. The key to that is to have proactive discussions with our prospects, proactive discussions. So, for example, let’s say I was selling you a new car, then before I start talking to you about selling the new car, I’m going to ask you a simple question: I’m going to say John again in the course of buying a new car, I’m sure that Price is going to be something that you consider.

What’s going to be one of the things, that’s you evaluate correct, mm-hmm. Well, you know I’d like to share with you an article from edmunds.Com that talks about the ten most important factors that we should consider when buying a new car and, as you can see here, price is number six. You know the reputation, the service department, the the appropriate, the type of car for your needs, and all these are the factors.

So let me ask you John: would you agree or disagree with with edmunds.Com that there are a few factors that are as important, perhaps even more for than the chief price yeah? So if I get you to make that concession upfront now I now already I’m trying to sell you a car and I’m going to ask you to sign the paperwork on a car, and I want you to raise the price objection. So John misses the car. I’m going to recommend this is a perfect car for you and your family based on.

I think I’m worried about you and the time we spend together. So the only question I have is that when you trust me with this recommendation for a car, I’m still a bit, it’s still a bit off on the price. No, it’s a big decision! John! I don’t say that completely, but you know earlier you had mentioned that you agree with Consumer Reports. That price was not the most important factor in your decision as that changed our time together.

No, no! No, no you come to mention it. It hasn’t really well great. With the information I’d like to start the paperwork: well, the key there is public declarations dictate future actions and it’s based on a psychological principle of cognitive dissonance, and I looked at on my read. It is three o’clock and I forgotten, like oh, I forgot to pick up John, that anxiety is called distance when humans feel dissonance.

We want to get rid of it. So what do I do? I picked the phone up and I said John I’m going to be late. I’m sorry I’ll be there, but I do something to get back into a state of residence, so I can feel better about Who I am as a person. The same rules apply in sales. If I can get, you acknowledged, price is not the most important factor and then you bring it up later. I simply remind you, it’s conversation, you’re doing with spirits, dissonance right, because you did say that an hour ago and you’re going to feel anxiety well as the Sales Professional.

I’m simply going to ask you for the order again, which is metaphorically throwing your life preserver. So you can make a decision, that’s consistent with your previous actions right. It’s not the rocket science right using psychological principles and the sales principles to achieve the results that we want every day, and what I like about that Weldon is the fact that you’d you, as you said I mean you, didn’t sit around as a lot of you Know a lot of people when they’re in a selling situation, they’re dreading the obstacle coming up: they’re dreading the objection coming up.

You are like, okay, I’m going to just meet it head-on, I’m going to deal with it early and and then I’m going to have a fallback position later, if it, if it rears its ugly head again, but what I’m not going to do is avoid it right. You know people operate on the misconception that that effective sales – it’s about high-pressure effective sales, is not about high-pressure effective sales. Jon is about high service, not willing to extend ourselves professionally emotionally to our customers.

Part of that extension is that I have to you, know kind of have some insight and what I know what the objections are going to be if you’re selling your CRM, for example, that your company produces it sells whatever you know what the objections are every time That you’re going to sell it, there’s probably two or three or four that you’re going to face on 80 % of your calls. We should never be caught flatly.

We should never be caught right unaware. We have to anticipate those and, as you said, not dread. Those coming up but anticipate those coming up and approach them with like I knew this was coming. I know what you’re thinking before what you’re thinking, because I sell you, know software ten times a day, you buy it once every 10 years. I should know more about what the objections are going to be the new day, so it does not anticipate an answer about the hard work of sales, and that is what consistency comes in.

I know exactly what I’m going to say, depending on what objections, and I anticipate that you’re going to it’s. I think one of the other pieces about consistency well done. A few agree is that there’s there’s nothing worse than if you have an experience with the salesperson and then maybe you get to sale. Maybe you submit the car or whatever – and this has happened to me personally and then I call you up a week later because there’s an issue with it and you’re completely different person right so I mean how how important is it to because I always say like Chameleons make great pets and they’re lovely to look at and everything but salespeople they can be, it can be devastating right, listen, and this is part of the extending ourselves emotionally and professionally you’re, not just my customer before you sign on the line that is not a Year out of the homeless shelter, I started heating, an air conditioned company.

Now I don’t a first thing about heating and air conditioning, but I know how to sell so. I started this company and I focused on the marketing and sales. I hired the operations people by the way through that company. The 20 million dollars in revenue in five years in 2009 were selected is one of the magazine’s fastest growing companies, but the core foundation of that company is, I offered what I call the one year test drive right, so John again will roleplay and say you’re, my Customer you’re, my homeowner, I say John – have you ever bought something from a department store.

You didn’t like he’s a flashlight or something like that sure, and you decided you wanted to return that item. What happened when you went back to the store? Did they did? They shun you did they turn you out the door or they give your money back or any pot. Whatever you want yeah. No, there was a pretty simple process exactly well. I decided it should be the same way: the heating air conditioning industry so John.

What I’m going to do is to extend this offer. You’re, a one-year test drive I’m going to put in a brand new heating and air conditioning system, and I don’t want you to buy it tonight. I want you to try it for a year 11 months in 29 days at the end of that process. Any time during that first year, if you decide the system doesn’t work properly, you don’t get proper service. You don’t like to waste.

Someone from my company treated you on the phone. I will offer you the opportunity with one phone call to me: no brain damage. I will remove that system and refund 100 % of your initial investment. Now John. What does that say about the level of quality and service? I’m going to offer you if I have that kind of responsibility on my shoulders? Well, I mean obviously you’re going to you’re going to turn over every stone to make sure that you’re the best quality of service in all areas and every interaction the customer has with your business right exactly so John now, if you call me a month later, two Months over the problem, I have a responsibility and obligation.

I got to make sure you’re happy. I can’t that chameleon. Also I’m like who are you what’s they’ve done, I’ve got to make sure that you are taken care of, because I have a responsibility. You know that I have to extend to you, so did you ever actually have to take your system out? That’s a wonderful question. In the best question. The reality is in 20 dollars of sales. In five years. I never had to return a system.

I will tell you: there were a few opportunities where I did it, because I wanted to sure I remember. For example, we had a customer. Her name was Sarah Parker. We installed a very expensive system to her high-efficiency system and on eight months later, she calls me up and she wanted us to come and install a less expensive system and refund her the difference when I I said well, what’s wrong with the system, she said, nothing’s Wrong with the system, when I’ve been diagnosed with cancer and I’m having to leave my job for treatment, I got to sell my house I’m trying to get all my money together.

When I understood what happened the situation she was in, I said Sarah, you keep the system and let me refund the difference, and so I didn’t have to, but I did it by the way. The letter that I got from Sarah Parker, in my estimation, was worth 20 million dollars, because that letter was the foundation of my sales process. We have to sell with integrity, we have to deliver service with integrity. One of my mentors was Steven Covey, who wrote the seven Habits of Highly Effective People, and I learned something, as I often say, values are knowing what to do.

Characters having the strength to do it and integrity is doing it when the push comes to shove. Right in the rubber meets the road you have to be a by the way, I would tell all of our business owners sales professionals out there that the way I looked at that kind of return of money as marketing money, because it was the best marketing money. I could ever spend because my next 10 customers next 100 customers.

They were going to hear about that story and never going to read that letter with me. I promise you so I mean so as you guys as you’ve outlined beautifully here. There is a huge economic value to consistency right to the consistency of whether you’re just an individual sales person or an organization, but take it down to the level of a sales person right if you, if you provide a consistent level of service and really well.

If I do that to you right, then you’re likely to recommend me, but I have to deliver that to every single person who recommends me right. I have to deliver it to the next person. The next person, the next person, absolutely is really important. Listen people all communicate in different ways. Some people will read and learn. Some people read articles. Some people hear some people are tactile learners like they learn by touching things.

Some people learn through emotion and stories. So when I create a sales presentation form, is I incorporate every form of communication in the sales presentation? The reason I do that is, I don’t know for sure what a particular customer I don’t know how they’re going to connect with me. Are they connected to the story? Are they connecting to the product demonstration? Are they connecting to what they’re, seeing or reading you never know for sure, so we incorporate all of these forms of communication to a prospect.

If I have consistency – and I do my sales process the same way every time I’m going to hit every one of those communication medium right, so I’m going to connect with you at some point. If I start picking and choosing which part of the presentation I’m going to use, I may skip the form of communication that would have run you over right, say you can’t be random in this process. You have to hit every form of communication with your prospects.

They have to see pictures, they have to hear stories, they have to touch products and experience products. They have to get emotional, they have to have logic. They have to have all these various things, because I’m going to connect with you on one of those. If I start reading – and we decided I’m going to try this I’m going to try that I might miss the one thing that we run you over as a customer, so at the essence of what you’re a lot of the essence of what you’re talking about here Is obviously, you know consistency of execution, but it’s preparation and planning to write, because you can’t be considered.

You can’t do what you just said about having a presentation that hits all the different you know: learning styles or whatever information receiving styles, unless you’ve done your homework here, my desk. This is for a 50 million dollar company in California, and I developed their presentation book and their job is to go to this book. Tell the stories I teach them to tell ask the questions. I teach them to ask and, throughout the course of these 10 or 15 pages, we’re going to touch on every one of those communication methods right, I’m going to connect with somebody at some point.

I do the same thing with FedEx. I do the same thing, but Farmers Insurance. I do the same thing with Wells Fargo. You got to communicate and do it the same way every single time, if you, if you manufacture computer chips and you do it randomly you’re, going to have really poor quality result, and what about with you know when a a prospect or whatever starts to take you Off track and you’ve started starting to feel like.

Oh I’m, never going to get to these pieces or I’m going to miss something and the I’m. Obviously I’m trying to be accommodating here and go down this. You know rabbit hole with them. How do you? How do you advise as people to control that situation as best they can given the fact that you have to react to the customer? Great great great question number number one. I rely on the process because I’ll follow the process and let’s say I’m on page five of my process.

Now again you can’t sound like a possum. It can’t sound like an presentation but less than the phone rings and the prospect gets distracted with some other issue. In their business or if I’m in home sales, one of the kids comes around crying for mommy right. When the dust settles on that distraction, I can bring them right back where I was right. So I stay on the past. The other issue you mentioned the rabbit holes.

This is a really important issue. I’m glad you brought it up. You don’t have to chase every rabbit down every hole a lot of times with people, especially when you use a consistency theory to sell. When I reminded you, for example earlier that you said, price led the most important common things that home what other prospects will do, is they feel that nervous energy because hey, I did say that an hour ago and they’ll start going down rabbit holes? Oh well, I got ta go on vacation next week to my brother-in-law.

I got ta talk to him and my kids, down to the doctor and they’ll come up with every distraction. All you have to do is to when they finish speaking acknowledge. Yes, I understand it’s important to get your child to the doctor. I important I understand it’s important to go, see your brother-in-law. However, with your permission, what do you say? We start the paperwork, and so I ignore the distractions, because when people get nervous, it’s a very common human behavior, we get nervous.

I ramble mm-hm and people will do that. The problem is a Sales Professional, sometimes those ramblings which are just on nervous energy. We start taking those as legitimate objections and we start next thing. You know what do you feel about the vacation, these rabbit holes like you’re, talking about and next thing you know we’re having a different conversation. Do you have to stay on Rails, especially? We gets the closing sequence right because that’s the most common time, people will try to distract you and get you off.

You got ta be on Rails. You don’t know exactly what you’re going to say during your closing sequence and you have to stay focused. Whatever obstacles come up, you simply remind them of what they said earlier and come back and ask the order yeah, and that is about preparation, as you mentioned. If I go back to Stephen Covey, the four quadrants of time, quadrant two is planning preparation and prevention.

We have to take the time to practice. Roleplay prepare ourselves. So when those objections come up, we’re on Rails right, we don’t get distracted because we’re the professionals we sell. Whatever we sell every single day, your customer probably buys it once every few years, lady once on a lifetime right – and I think that’s it – that’s an important thing to add there is that idea of when you do get down to the end of the process and As you say, maybe I only buy it once or a year or twice.

Oh maybe this is maybe it’s in a b2b. Maybe this is the first time the company is trusted me to make a big purchase and there’s a lot of emotion attached. There’s a lot on my back, you know, and so I’m bound to get nervous towards the end, I’m bound to start thinking. Am I making the right decision so if you can anticipate all that and, as you say, not get caught up in my anxiety but rather make me feel better than obviously there’s a greater chance of closing the deal, this is the bottom line.

Is everybody gets nervous at the end sales professional gets nervous, we’re talking about money. The prospect gets nervous because we’re talking about money, the reality is, it causes us emotional pain. We spend money, there’s a lot of scientific research about that that we spend money. It causes the emotional pain centers our brain, to become very active, the same way as if our dog dies. It’s an emotional experience, so we have to make sure that we are staying focused so that we don’t get distracted by these things.

At the end of the day, I tell people listen in sales, you have to be friendly, but not every prospect or customer. Is your friend hmm at some point you have to be the professional at some point you have to be the physician who delivers. You know the news you have to have the surgery. We have to do this, it’s in your best interest and we have to be willing to kind of you know what I, when I tell people it’s a that sounds a little corny.

I guess, but you have to be willing to jeopardize the relationship. Some salespeople are so good, the relationship they never move into closing because they don’t want to seem like the salesperson. You have to be both. You have to have the relationship and then you have to courage the conviction, the commitment to ask for the order and to hold this person accountable to the process right. It’s not always fun to do, but listen.

You know Zig Ziglar used to say if you can’t close you’re going to have skinny kids, here’s the bottom line at the end, that’s what I teach salespeople whenever I talk to them when you’re at when you have that moment where you know you need to ask For the order, but you’re afraid that they’re going to be offended, are you afraid they’re going to somehow be disappointed because all the sudden, your sales professional, think about this think about who’s going to be disappointed? If you don’t ask for the order you know who it is, is your family and the people who count on you to bring home the bacon right to bring home the money to pay the bills to provide a quality of life? Am I going to disappoint them by being afraid to ask for the order, or am I going to risk? Maybe just maybe this prospect thinks I’m awesome a salesperson.

If I got to disappoint somebody, I’m not going to disappoint my wife and kids. I’m never going to come home to my wife and kids and say: hey guys. We can’t go to Disneyland, we can’t go to private school. We can’t do this, the kid that, because I’m too big of a candy-ass never going to happen yeah and by the way I always say to people when this comes up. Is I hate to break the news to you, but they know you’re a salesperson going on exactly listen Weldon.

How To Run A Facebook Marketing Agency Step-By-Step For Beginners (2019)

Now This is a local business, So it doesn’t matter if you’re a real estate agent, chiropractor, Dennis local restaurant local gym really the strategy all works the same way. So this is Kathy right here. Kathy is a real estate agent that I’ve worked with in the past and she’s based out of Southern California, And this right here is her Facebook page and then we’ve got her website right here And then I just pulled up a simple.

This is not her actual Landing page right here. I didn’t go into her account and go get that, but you can see like kind of the idea here. So this is where we would be running the Facebook ads to go. Send him to this type of an opt-in page and we’ve got. I mean, Obviously, a number of different opt-ins and landing pages that we can go through and offer on the lead magnets, But those are kind of her assets right.

She got the website. You got her. Facebook page – and I don’t honestly, don’t even know how many followers she has she’s got about 200 people and so He’d go through. Let’s see if she’s got any articles, I honestly did not even checked so she’s got some articles. You can see 272 people view that 151 1.3 thousand Some are more popular than others, But so, okay, So that’s some good data to go through and start out in a workplace.

We’ve got Facebook page We’ve got some article views. We’ve got some page engagement people. We probably have people that have visited her website over here. You can see, she’s got her Facebook pixel all there and tracking Okay and then we’ve got the Listing leads or you’ve got the the lead magnet right here. Okay, So let’s just go to the drawing board over here And let’s map this out. So if we grab the pen so we’re going to be sending people to This initial Landing page cave because remember we don’t want to send.

If we’re running Facebook Ads, We don’t want to be signing in to our main website. We don’t want to be sending them to our blog anywhere else. We want to send them to a simple lead capture, page with a lead magnet with an offer That we can go through and grab their contact information, So their name phone number and email address now. Initially, because she’s not completely brand new Kathy has some assets that we can go through work with, so we can go through and create custom Audiences.

So we can go and we’ll run a Facebook ad right here. Okay right We’re on a Facebook ad and we’re sending people to that landing page to this one right here: Let’s just map out She’s got her website visitors. So anyone this visitor web site She’s got that Facebook pixel on there, so she can go through and retarget. Those people She’s now got people that have engaged with her page, So page engagement, okay.

So that means if she’s made a post anyone this light commented or Follows her on Facebook or anything like that, And then she also has the article views right And then I think that’s probably about it for right now, Oh and then, if there’s anyone that does You know hit this landing page, but doesn’t opt-in. We can set up a little retargeting ad right here To get them coming back up here, Okay, which these ones up here – They’re, not necessarily a retargeting ad, because they haven’t necessarily seen this Facebook post already or this Facebook ad, and they haven’t already gone to this Landing page where, Whereas, if they’ve already seen this added they’ve already gotten this landing page at that point, They this would be a retarding ad showing to those specific people All right.

So now we come over here. This is going to be more of that warm audience. Slash that tier Two okay, So now she comes over here, She gets them on her email list and her ideal Situation is to go through and get them to book an appointment with her Okay. So now what she’s doing is going through she’s getting the lead? The contact information, their name phone and email. So if we come over here to this landing page, they hit give me the list We’re getting their name, email and phone number.

So then she can go through call them up right away and You know get get an appointment schedule and then what we’re also doing is we’re setting them We’re putting them into a follow-up email Sequence right here. That is then getting them with a real estate agent. Right, a real estate agent or a dentist or a chiropractor any other, these little local business owners You’re not necessarily selling something to online.

So the whole goal Is to come over here and your sales mechanism is to get an appointment scheduled because with her she’s either helping people buy a home or Go through and sell their home list their home. So she can go through and sell to help him sell it right. So now we’re going to be following up with Emails, okay And then also what I like to do is follow up with SMS as well, Okay, which the nice thing about the Arsenal system which she uses.

It’s all integrated in there, So she’s got email, SMS and then even Facebook Messenger. So we’ll do Facebook Messenger right there. Okay! So now We’re at this point where we’ve got all these people: Okay, so we’re initially targeting that this small audience of people who visit our website. Okay, that custom audience people that have engaged with their Facebook, page people that have viewed her article, We’re targeting that that warm slash that tier-2 and then also part of this, is any existing existing clients and existing Leads.

Okay. Now, because, when you’re running a local business, especially if you’re in a smaller town now Kathy She’s in Southern California, So she actually has a pretty big area of pretty big community. But with this audience right here you can be spending literally like five to ten dollars per day and Hitting this whole entire audience Right, because you don’t really need much more than that, because there’s probably not going to be.

You know Millions of people that audience is probably just going to be thousands or even tens to tens of tens of thousands right so going through, hitting that up and setting these all here where we should, because this is all this low-hanging fruit, beginning pretty dang good Results and then having the retargeting ads, Collect anyone that hits this landing page. Let’s say this landing page converts at twenty five percent, So out of a hundred people, twenty five become leads, and out of those 175 do not so we’re now retargeting the seventy-five right here.

Okay, but then we go through and we’re getting people to go and discuss an appointment and out of the twenty five leads. Maybe let’s say five skills appointments? Okay, so then that means that there are 20 that we can go through and not only send emails to Send. Also text messages also send Facebook messages, but then we can also spend let’s say $ 1 a day, Reminding them to go back and set an appointment up with Kathy okay or with your dentist or with the you know, If you’re marking agency, with with your sales Guy or you, if you’re the sales person right, So this is really the simple setup right here And then, when you went to go, you want to go really scale up then guys this landing page right here It could be for whatever offer It could be.

A number of offers for a chiropractor, It could be a free massage. It could be a free consultation getting in for a desk. It can be free teeth, whitening for real estate, for example right here. It’s getting a list of homes under $ 300,000 for $ 500,000 or whatever The number is, it could be Hey. You know, we’ve got this listing, like maybe you’re, promoting this listing and you’re trying to get it sold.

So you say: hey get up the price pictures and Address of this property just put in your contact information, So it could be a number of different things and then, when we go through and we want to scale this up, Okay, we went to the wrong page. We want to go through and scale this up. We now we’re going to hit our look-alike audiences, So our 1 % look like audiences of our. Ideally, if you have a hundred plus past clients, okay, Then you want to use one percent, look like audience of them or one percent.

Look like a Belize or article views, page engagement or website visitors, and then this is going to get us a two million person audience and Obviously, if you’re running a local business, If you’re just targeting people specifically in that business. Obviously, it’s going to be a lot smaller than the two million, But then we are now sending them to This same landing page as well, And then you’ve got all of the Machine already set up on the back end.

So they go through, 25 percent of the people are going to actually opt in, so the other 75 % are going to be hit up with this retargeting ad And then of the 25 %. They’ve opted in we’re going to invite them to schedule an appointment of those 25. What is that 5 out of 25? Is that, like 20 %, something like that Yeah? I think 20 % are going to actually schedule an appointment. So the other 80 % Right here are going to be hit with another retarding ad.

But it’s not going to be this same retargeting ad, because we’ve already excluded them, Okay, which we’ve covered that in in previous modules, we excluded them because we already know we had their contact information But we’re just pushing them along To the next step. Okay, so if they viewed our website or article or something like that, We’re pushing them to opt in they’ve already opted in we’re pushing them to schedule.

Appointment, They’ve already scheduled an appointment, We’re pushing them to actually, like you know, list their home with us or buy their home with us, or something like that and then so. The goal is to get them on this appointment and then see. Are they looking to buy? Are they looking to sell and whatever they’re looking to do and then once you go through and get a buyer or a seller, Then with both of these, especially in the real estate market and if you’re in any other market? Really It’s the same type of thing, Then we’re going to go through and we’re going to look for Referrals from those people because obviously they went through and they just bought a house.

It’s not like they’re going to buy a house anytime soon in the next six months or even a year, even probably a couple of years, But you can say like hey, okay, Do you know anyone else looking to buy a home in this area, but also, if They’re looking to sell their home and you go through and you sell their home, So you make some money on that and then you can go help them Buy a home. So you kind of like double up on that.

So that’s that’s something! That’s really nice there! So a lot of times we’ve had real estate agents They go through and they run an ad to help someone buy a home and so because they know they’re looking to buy a home They like. Well, you don’t need the other home. So, let’s hope you sell that other home, And so you kind of can double-dip like that. So that’s obviously the real estate business. But if you look at any other business same type of thing, If you’re a dentist, you get them in with free teeth.

Whitening up here: Okay: where is it up here? Free, teeth, whitening and Then once they come in set an appointment. You get them in the seat right here and then it’s not like buyer or seller, but it’s like okay, a teeth, cleaning, a root canal or Whatever the different products, and offers that they have to offer so same thing with the chiropractor Of a gym like if You’re going through instead of Fitness, you got nutritional plans, You can break down workout plans, private coaching, just a normal, typical membership, There’s a lot of different things, but the nice thing is with this process: you can now market to them with email can market with them.

Sms with Facebook, Messenger and all of these retarding ads, which, with those retargeting ads, you can hit them up on Instagram and on Facebook, So you’re, basically omnipresent in all of these different locations. Okay, So anyway, guys, if you guys have any questions specifically to this case study and how this works for a local business Go ahead post a question in the Facebook group that this is exactly where I would go through and start.

Obviously, if you guys do not have an existing business and you don’t have any website visitors, article views or anything like that, The first thing I would do is shoot a article talking about your products or services post that on Facebook Put some money behind it. Maybe five to ten bucks a day get a few thousand people Viewing that article and then start the same process go and set up in facebook ad targeting only those people that viewed the article Okay get them to a landing page with your offer.

And then you can initially create a one percent. Look like audience off of those Video viewers to get them to your landing page as well, And then once you’ve, gotten 100 plus leads Create a custom audience of all your leads and create a look like audience of those leads, And then once you scale up and You’ve got, you know, Let’s say a thousand leads, and now you’ve got a hundred customers at this point, then you go.

The same thing create a custom audience of those 100 customers create a 1 % look-alike audience of those customers, and You continue to grow like that. So, anyway, once again post your questions, comments whatever in the facebook group and with that said guys, I will see you in the next

My Knife/Sword Collection

I got that I said a few months going to do which one I know I may use it the blue one, but which other one though you said you were going to do, that. I got in Pakistan yeah battery’s low, so we got a guy make this quick this one I just wan na kill, I’m just going to cheat off today’s major design, and I usually guess it was this brolic thing like it doesn’t fit the same so and no.

This is not real this. This is a pelican, I’m in good. You get to skin a deer with a what did you do? I mean idiot, because I bring this to my friends cuz. He said he wanted to see what it was and then I don’t know where I went in his house. I left the cannot outside. He said he wanted to try it out. So I just like alright just go okay and then this ends up happening. It was like right here. Part of the handle is just like right here, but that was a lot longer yeah.

Oh yeah. It was a lot more yeah. He came, he came inside so he was just broke. I never it doesn’t look like it doesn’t. Look! Repairable mama something yeah this I got this Mike so many years ago I haven’t showed you guys this cuz, I don’t know cuz my phone broke. I haven’t got anyone yet so this one’s pretty cool this one, you got them. I never even really focused on that before Chinese letters or something everyone as a little force Chinese littering for him.

It’s a little bit more difficult than needed to be. The design on this looks like our load is awesome. I don’t know who’s just awesome, evil right here, yeah, it’s not sharp. It’s only sharp on the tip because on the tip and like he said this is just a pellet gun, it’s not even loaded. You already saw that one off, I think that’s pretty much everything yeah! Oh yeah, wave! Oh yeah! This is part of my old butterfly knife that I’m going to be buying a new one soon and yeah this one’s broken.

How did you even break it anyway? Let’s just say this is about 20 bucks. I dropped it and shattered, and I jumped it up. Guys are really cheap, fellows long, I’m going to buy it and you dropped it. It’s pretty much everything. No, I think you already did that one where you short it off. I get in and talk about it. You did an unboxing for that one’s. For that one.
