I want people to be able to spined you guys on LinkedIn and get to know a little bit about you right, so we don’t work on that. That needs to be ironed. So it’s a little scattered. But let’s get into the three fundamentals: the three foundations that you really need to become a social-media influencer number one is a platform. Now what a platform is is basically, where do you want to start if you’re just getting started? Just think of one platform where you want to get started, this can be Facebook, it can be YouTube, it can be Instagram, but you have to have a platform to decide where you’re going to influence.
So, let’s say you’re getting started in YouTube now with YouTube. You’re. Obviously, going to be making articles you’re going to want to be somewhat comfortable on camera, because you know it gets easier, the more you do it now. If you want to go on Facebook and kind of build your influence there you’re a little more comfortable on Facebook. Facebook stope, it gives you options and you can actually either start a Facebook group.
You can do article if you want to do Facebook live if you’re down for the challenge. That’s pretty cool and they’re. Giving a lot of you know beef to it. So you can do lives or you can kind of go behind the scenes like a lot of people, are doing personal branding and actually making a lot of money just doing Facebook groups. They build a group, they post some content, they get people to check it out and they sprinkle affiliate links where they can actually start making some money.
So it really kind of comes down to your preference and Facebook gives you a lot of options. Now. Let’s say you want to tackle Instagram as a platform. Instagram is cool if you like, working with images and you’re down to either make your own images, you know, take cool photos set up cool settings. Take pictures of accessories, clothing, shopping brands more of that route. If you want to be that kind of influence, like a fashion, influencer or you’ve, been like a cooking like a chef, influencer or like that, would be dope for Instagram.
However, you’re not super limited to making your own content, you can also basically be a curation page where, let’s say you like cars, you’re really into cars, you can look at cars all day. You know lots about cars right. You can make either a luxury. You know cars page, you could make it old-school cars page like hot rods and old motorbikes, and maybe old cars and vehicles that they used to use in old school movies like that could be a niche you know, but these are just options that you can do With Instagram, so Instagram gives you a lot of options as well.
You can either create your own content or you can pull together a page of similar themed content now. The second thing you want to have is a topic in our niche. I’ve heard it said niche. It just kind of depends on on how you want to say it doesn’t really matter, but having this is going to be super crucial, because it’s what you talked about so, for example, you want to start thinking in ways of like what are your hobbies.
What are hobbies that you have that other people have like that is more of like a broad thing, that you know that people like and there’s a few ways that I can give you on finding this niche, so that you know it’s a it’s. It’s a popular ish niche. Now, let’s take a look at health and fitness. When you look at health and fitness, it’s a really broad topic right, but when you get down to it you know it could even go into like fitness and nutrition is kind of the crossroads.
Then you go into fitness and there’s all kinds of different Fitness right. There’s p90x there’s lifting there’s running. There’s you know, triathlons, there’s marathons, there’s yoga, there’s all kinds of different topics right: those are all niches, so maybe you’re a gamer bu. You know – and these are the experiences that I know – maybe you’re a gamer – maybe you’re a lyft – or maybe you like meditation, maybe you’re – into tarot card reading.
You know just start thinking about the things that you do and the stuff that you read up on the stuff that interests you in that you find yourself going back to again and again. Another way to find a good niche is actually what I call the the magazine test and a way to find a good niche and one that’s actually profitable, is by looking and seeing if there’s already a magazine out on it on that topic, and one way to Do this is actually through Amazon.
Amazon is like the they’re, just the biggest store on the planet. Basically, and if you go on the the books segment, there’s an area for magazines and they you – you will see all kinds of magazines that not even Barnes and Noble has but what’s important to know is that if there’s a magazine on it, that means there is Enough demand to make that magazine, otherwise it wouldn’t waste the time or the energy to make it happen.
So if there’s a magazine on the chances, are it’s popular enough to make a magazine on now the next way and like more like the last way of finding a good niche that I’ll recommend in this article for today is actually going on Facebook. So if you’re probably already spending time on Facebook chances, are you know about Facebook groups? Now, if you go into the search bar and you search whatever your niche may be, and let’s say it’s tarot card reading, you’re going to find groups on it and you want to make sure that there’s at least at the minimum, like 5,000 people in multiple groups, If there’s only like one group and there’s a few hundred people, it’s probably going to be an uphill battle.
If you choose that as a niche now, if you find something more popular, you know like something I looked into when I was doing affiliate marketing was juicing. I noticed that there were a few different juicing groups and detox groups, so I knew that that was something that would be worth my time and energy pursuing. So whatever your niche is just look in the the search bar and start looking at groups just join the most popular one, so you can kind of see.
Obviously that’s going to be where you’ll find the most engaged people. So it’s worth checking out and seeing what kind of conversations they’re having what problems they’re having what kind of things are talking about? Maybe there’s news. There’s updates and you’ll find out what people are talking about in that niche, and it’s going to it’s going to give you an advantage, but you just right now. You just want to see that it’s popular there’s people talking about it and that there’s interest so that wraps up fundamental foundation number two so guys once you have your platform and once you have your niche, it’s time to figure out the content, that’s right! Content is number three, so with number three being content, you guys already know that content is king content.
Basically, is the deciding factor on whether or not you move up you move down or you stay neutral. So, if you’re coming into this new, unfortunately it’s not as easy as just planting your flag and saying you’re the expert right you’re going to want to have some stuff. That really proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that you know what you’re talking about, and this can be done in article. It can be done in pictures, infographics, podcasts, really any form of media that you decide you’re comfortable with and the more you put out.
The more of an expert you become not just to other people, but really to yourself. You know you get better at talking about that thing. You become more confident talking about that thing and, as you become more of an expert, your content gets better. The way you talk and portray yourself in and speak and your voice gets better over time and that’s kind of the the best compounding effect is because you might feel a little.
You know not so confident at first but the more you do this like it just builds and it becomes really really cool because then people believe you people believe that you’re an expert, because you get confident about what you’re talking about and by staying in your lane. You really show that you’re an expert and you to others when they come across your content, that you are the expert in that field.
So one is the perk that you become the expert you’re seen as the expert now. The second thing, the second like perk, is you’re. Just it’s seen that you’re active in the field. You know a lot of people get hesitant to buy books when they’re a little older, because you’re afraid the content doesn’t really hold up anymore. So, especially with things like social media and things online, the game is always changing.
The game is always growing right. Things are shifting constantly so a book like, let’s say in social media marketing that came out in like 2008 you’re going to be super, hesitant to believe the content, because it’s so old. So if you’re like going off the content that you made two years ago three years ago, it’s stale you know, so you want to make sure that you’re pumping out active content, because people are like alright.
This guy’s always posting content, he’s freshening the game. He knows what he’s talking about he’s always posting like the most up-to-date content and they’re more likely to believe you because you’re on top of it you’re like you, have your finger on the pulse and you’re like alright. I know exactly what’s going on and then they come to you because they start to trust you and they go okay, it’s easier for me to get my knowledge from this guy, because he’s constantly he’s been right before and he’s constantly providing me the most up-to-date content.
I don’t have to go to this site. I don’t have to go to this person. I can just go to this person because they’re the expert, and they know exactly what’s going on so the last perk of creating relevant content – is that it builds your audience and it really gives people more of a chance to find you. We we’d all love to have like that. One homerun piece that just knocks it out of the park and all of a sudden everybody knows our name and everyone.
We want to work with knows about us and all of our customers instantly want to buy from us right, but that’s just not how it works. You know it really does take shots. It’s like that. That wing risk that Wayne Gretzky quote where he mentions, like you, miss 100 % of the shots you don’t take. You know the way I like to consider putting out content is pretty much like like hooks. You know like like you when you’re fishing and you have hooks in the water and like if you only have one article, if you only have one piece of content, if you only do one picture, that’s like having one hook in the ocean, so with that analogy, In mind, do you want to have one hook in the ocean, or do you want to have hundreds of hooks in the ocean and really care and tea that you’re bringing home a fish like that? It’s it’s really that simple! The analogy is just that clear and by posting content on the regular and becoming someone who’s active in the community, it really builds all three of those.
So you know people see you as an expert. They know that you have your finger on the pulse, that you’re active and three. You just have so many hooks in the water that people are bound to see your content and that you’re getting better all the time. The 2019 defender 400 right here. I’ve also had a few customers. Ask me about what makes this machine so great compared to other brands. So I decided to bring along a second machine from one of our competitors today. Just so we can do a quick, side-by-side comparison. What I’m going to do is just go through a few of the key features of the machine, just to show the adjustments throw a cup with clays just so that you can see how the machines compare to each other.
Both machines are able to tilt back to about 70 degrees, so I’m going to use my 3/4 inch wrench. I can undo the machine like so and tilt it back all the way for a almost vertical teal target, I’m doing the nuts on the tilt base. I can tilt the machine 35 degrees to the left and 35 degrees to the right as well. That’s having it tilted all the way back, so I can throw a looping type presentation with this machine.
Alright, moving on to the pro Matic machine works very similarly again I’ll get my wrench, so I can tilt the machine back 270 degrees like so so I can get those those high targets and I can also tilt the machine left or right. So I can tilt the machine to the left by undoing the 24 mil bolt on the side of the machine like so, and then, if I want to tilt it to the right like so and once you’ve got the angle set where you want, it just make Sure that both bolts are locked together and that’s how you get your left and right tip on this machine, so you can see the difference between adjusting for left and right windage on both machines.
I find the mech is very easy to adjust just with one wrench. So what I would like to do now is just throw a couple of targets off each machine just so you can see how they both okay, so we’re, throwing a few targets and, as you can see, both machines throw the same distance and they both have the Same recutting time, the mech machine on the right hand, side is very easy to address with for left and right tilt.
Both machines also have stainless steel throwing plates as well. A couple of other features I like about the mech machine are, in the electrical box very easy to remove without using any wrenches or screwdrivers. You just have a coupling nuts. When you take the box off, you have a 5 pin 60 amp relay which plugs into a base. So it’s very quick and easy to change. If you ever do need to replace it, and then there is a breaker which has a manual reset button on the back of it and then a small fuse as well.
That is everything that’s inside the electrical box, so very easy to get to an axe. Yes and very easy to change out a relay, if you ever need to I’ve shown the differences between both machines. They both work the same way. They both throw the same distance. You can tilt them left or right to throw curling targets. The best news is the machine on the right. The MSRP is two thousand and ninety five dollars, and this is for a four hundred capacity.

If your employees are going to have their own Facebook and Twitter accounts, then you’re going to be monitoring what sort of content they’re putting up there and Twitter is also looking to heavily monetize areas of its service, and this can have a negative effect on it, and It also there’s a lot of trolling which goes on in amongst and Twitter, so trolling is people just being really negative about you, you’ll cut off your business and the sorts of things you’re commenting on and it can make you feel very bad, but it get it Covered and if somebody’s putting and I don’t know what appears to be a testimonial up there and negative testimonial up there – they may not actually be a customer.

It’s no guarantees life and anyone who tells you that they can guarantee technology.
A certain result is lying to you and personally, I would not trust those people. In my case, what I can tell you is from our previous. You know from our previous track record, based on actual figures and we’ve done in the past. I can certainly predict working we’re going to get you killer results and our track record. For example. This is an example where our track record indicates that we’re able to produce 2x return investment resource for our clients on a consistent daily basis, but normally that what are you go as far as doing with my team? Is I only hold ourselves accountable to or or last metric or last results, and that actually keeps my team very sharp, and so you know would be.
I don’t like to you know cherry-pick any any. You know one single plan or want to move case study that you know. Maybe we’ve had success with three years ago right. What we won’t do is hold ourselves accountable to literally the last metric that we’ve gotten right now to the last result that we’ve got for our clients just to ghost off the new currencies in life, and I cannot guarantee you anything if, if people are you know, If someone comes and tells you that they can guarantee you souls they’re, certainly lying to you what I can say that would predictably get amazing results for hands.
If you like that, then amazing, if, if not, maybe we’re not the right fit so Jordan, that’s how I would approach that situation so about read the mind so that you go into a meeting with never try to to be in a position when you were you Almost need it to desperately to have them become a client of yours right, and that comes across a lot. If, if you tell them that you can guarantee results, which is you know, they know? That’s, that’s not.
You know, that’s not realistic right. We need for something. That’s not realistic. It immediately speaks a lot about your abundance and obviously puts you into just a necessity position just a week session in in the negotiation table certain. That’s what I would say about about that about guarantee and results, never guarantee results. So what you use custom conversions for is basically, if you have a page and you want to track something – you can use – use the custom conversion to track that. So I’m going to show you how to do that, but before we get into that definitely subscribe.

So let’s actually get right into it, don’t waste any more time! You know how I roll, so what you want to do is once you go to business, stop facebook.Com and you have your account set up. What you’re going to want to do.
Is you want to go to your ads manager? So you just click over here and then you want to go to all tools and then under measure and report you want to go to custom, conversions. Okay, I can make a different articles on different topics. I don’t want to go too in depth today because you can kind of get lost, but that is a good idea that might actually just make a little mini Facebook Ads course, for you guys, you know where things are um, so let’s actually do that.
Actually, I’m right on the spot right, that’s how we do around here, just kind of got to do things alright, so once we’re in the custom conversions area, this is actually a pixel that I don’t really normally use, I’m just starting to use it some more. So, there’s not that much data for my custom, conversions, but what you want to do is click on create custom conversion and then from here you can give your custom conversion a name.
So you can say something like signed up for training. You give it a description. If you want so, for example, signed up for live training on November 15, all right and then you select the data source, so the data source is basically your pixel and I can make another article showing you how to actually put your pixel on quick models. I already made a article about that, but I’ll do an update, a article for you guys coming soon.
So then you want to select the URL traffic, so you can select all URL traffic or you can select standard events. So, for example, if someone were to view content, you can select that or you can select a purchase. So this is basically basically saying if someone view to page and you will select the URL or if someone made a purchase on a particular URL, you can do that. So, let’s actually just say view content for now.
So what we want to do, though, is you want to go into our clickfunnels account or wherever your URL is for whatever particular thing you’re trying to set up all right, so once you are here inside, your clickfunnels account you’re going to want to go to the Funnel that you’re going to actually use and they’re going to go, find the final step, so I’ve been promoting a live training. So if you haven’t seen my live, training on YouTube ads definitely go read that it is getting taken down tomorrow.
So definitely go read that so, let’s just say that I have this training and I want someone to as someone signs up so if they get to the Thank You page, which is this area, I want them. I want to know about that. So what I’m going to do is I’m going to open this up and I’m going to copy this URL and I’m going to go back to Facebook, ad manager and then what I’m going to do here is I’m going to actually put in the rule here.
So the rule is basically as long as this URL contains or doesn’t contain or equals, and someone lands on this, and this will equal a few columns in so we can say equals we can say contains, or does it contain there to clear I like to either Use contained, depending on what I’m doing so, if it’s someone’s making your purchase, though I would select, I would select equals to make sure that that page is the specific page they have to land on.
In order to make that purchase. You can also add multiple other rules, so you can say rule number one they have to land on this page and you can do like doesn’t contain, for example, so like if you had a page. So if they got here, but they didn’t go to the actual, live training room, you can say doesn’t contain and I can actually make a article talking about retargeting as well, so you guys know how to do that.
You can also setup a conversion value. So if you have some type of value for this particular conversion, this is mainly used for like if you have purchases, but so this are just a few content, then you can just leave it here and then once you have done this just by selecting the website Event, you just click create. I wonder if this loads other no okay, it doesn’t other events. Okay, so you can click create and then it’s going to say your custom conversion for sign up for trading has been set up and that’s pretty much it.
So as people go to this page, it’s going to it’s going to trigger this, and it’s going to say this person signed up and then you can make look-alike audiences based on how many people signed up for this training. For this particular train, you can make a look like audience based on the people that actually do sign up. Okay. So, for example, this one you can see here it says active, no recent activity because I’m not promoting this, and this one has no activity X.
I just made these so, for example, for this one it was show active, because someone actually did take this step here. So this category is a lead. That’s what I’m trying to try to show you, but I don’t know why it’s not allowing me to show that, but in any regard, this is how you would set that up and then, if you want to go into your ads manager, you can actually on the Actual dashboard itself, you can actually show those custom perversions.
So if you go to, if you scroll up here, columns and you go to customize columns and you go to convert under conversions and go to custom conversions as soon as it’s loads. You can then select your custom conversions from this area, so you can look at the total, so if you want to select so, let’s just select, some of these are deleted. Okay, let’s select this and we’ll just have this in this actual window, and then we can click apply.
Um Benni adds up those not going to show, but you. If I was running ads to this particular page, then I would know how many people signed up because based on the custom conversion um and then this will show up right here in this area. So that’s pretty much how you would set up a custom conversion. You can have custom conversions for different things. Facebook ad manager used to have different custom conversions, I’m not too sure.
Wouldn’t they change that. So I have to look into that, but it’s pretty simple to set that up and then you can kind of use that for your business but, like I said I will definitely have more tutorials on Facebook Ads just because it’s something that a lot of people kind Of get confused and it’s really not that hard, and you know once you kind of know what you you can definitely get some good results using Facebook as if you know you’re doing so.
