Starting an Amazon FBA Business in 14 Days | Perfect if you’re in Stuck at Home

I want you to try and make the most out of being stuck at home at this present time and we’re going to dive right in, but before we do don’t forget to hit that subscribe. Button hit the bong education so that you know I bring out new articles, I’m making a little articles, print-on-demand articles, all different types of articles, every single day, so hit that bowl notification and let’s just get right into it.

So I’m going to use my trusty pen and tablet and I’m just going to time-lapse the drawing of it. I thought I’m going to start explaining what it all means. This is going to be our timeline. As you can see here, we’ve got day 1. All the way to day 14 and we’ve got research mode over here and we’ve got ready to launch over here. So that’s that aim. My I aim for the 14 days is to build something that we are ready to launch and now we’re going to draw a line.

Okay, I’m going to draw this line and you might think what does this light even mean, but I’m going to go through each individual day for you. So you know what you need to be doing on every single day. Right now, obviously you’re probably thinking he has just made that line up now. I have just made this line up. However, I’m going to explain to you now what you should be doing on each day, what I would be doing on each day to create an FBA business, and then this line will actually make a lot of sense.

So we’re going to move this out the way I’m going to start using the text tool and on day one okay, let’s go here, what we’re going to be doing on day, one well, there’s a few things to do on day. One and I’ve got my notes up over here, cuz, I don’t to miss anything out, but on day one you want to update the product spreadsheet and I’m going to show you what the price, but she actually looks like this – is what the product spreadsheet actually looks.

Like you’ve got the name, the average price, the average of use the average PS are the potential keywords that you can find. We use the tools on guru for this I’ll explain a bit about that later and whether or not it’s a needle one product, if it’s small and light the monthly sales and eventually you’ll put the supplier prices in there. But you don’t have to worry about the supply prices just yet.

So if you want create a Google sheets similar to this or creator on whatever program, you want like this to keep an updated file system of all the products you’re researching, because the worst thing is to research, a bunch of products and not keep track of all Their individual qualities and whether or not they’re going to be good okay, so research is going to take place from day one to day five, all right, that’s five full days of researching now I don’t mean doing it for seven or eight hours in a single day, Because you probably have other jobs, you probably work from home, doing other things, so just try and dedicate maybe two hours a day or one to two hours a day doing this research and they want to find what you want to do.

Is you want to you? Want to do a whole bunch of meetings you want to find a product with good enough demand. You want to find a product with not much competition. If this is a bit vague for people. Let me know in the comments I can make a more in-depth article on individual days, but this is more of an overall article of the entire 14 days. I want to go into it in too much detail because I wan na get to the point of each day.

Okay, you want to find out the pricing if it’s going to be profitable and you want to or I’ve written here you want to do some keyword, research, so keyword. Research basically just means finding particular keywords for one given product. So if your product, it’s an Apple iPhone case, you want to come up with a whole list of keywords for that product. Okay, so let’s just quickly recap that you want to update the spreadsheet, which is this thing? Okay, you want to fill in everything here.

So the average pricing just not going to go through it again, but you want to fill in everything in here and then you want to do a bit of keyword research on top of that. Okay, that’s day, one to day five, so I’m going to write keyword, research in here, okay, now, let’s do day six! Well, I read over day six so day. Six today eight is messaging suppliers. Okay – and you can see it’s it’s going up slightly because the more supplies you message, the further you are in ready to launch phase of this business.

Okay, so you want to pick you wan na start by picking three products from your list, so you can see here. I’Ve got, however many products. You want to pick three best products: okay and then you want to try and message twenty suppliers for each product. Okay, so that’s messaging sixty suppliers. What I recommend you do is use some sort of email template for each product that you can just copy and paste.

So, for example, we have a template where we say our name, we say we’re looking or interested in and then blank for that kind of product. So if it’s a, if it’s, let’s have a look on my list. If it’s a shower curtain, you’re right we’re interested in shower curtains, we’re wondering if you could do this and then have a different template for every niche urine. Okay. But if you’re messaging, twenty surprised about the same shower curtain, I just keep the same message and it allows you to email suppliers on a map in a much faster way.

We call it the shotgun approach, okay, so on Alibaba. Let me just quickly show you what you should look out for, and I know you’re probably thinking well. Can I actually message suppliers at this point is it like? Is anyone working well, yes and I’ll? Show you how I know that okay, so let’s just put in shower curtain for argument’s sake, okay and what you can do is: firstly, you want to click, create assurance and you want to click the verify supply.

Okay, so once you click both of those things, let’s just let that load what’s remaining the supplies remaining are the ones that you typically would want to get in contact with right now. The reason I know this is possible and supplies are actually working. It’S you see this little blue man over here, you just zoom in for you this this little guy right. This is the chat now feature. So if I click chat with me, it’s going to ask him to login, but my point being is: if they weren’t working there wouldn’t be.

That chat now feature right. So you can see it’s popped up over here and I can just start speaking to them now fold. This shotgun message approach where you actually email all of them. I would recommend clicking the contact supply because it’s a bit more professional than chatting chatting is more for when you, when you’ve really built that relationship with them and you’re you’ve got a dialog and you’re just talking, whereas the first first message you send them.

It should just be a normal email right, so you can click contact supplier. It will pop up over here. You would copy and paste the message whatever that is, and click send inquiries. It’S really that simple right and if you want only do it for suppliers that show that there this is blue, so that you know that online. Not everyone is going to have it blue at this point, so you can see these people is grayed out.

So you can see they’re not online. Let me exit this. I can show you zoom in you can see these people aren’t online, but these people are online okay. Now, because it’s 9:30 5:00 a.M. When I’m shooting this article you’re going to get a lot more people online because of the time okay, so bear in mind talking to China in the morning or talking China late at night, is when you’re going to get the largest Group of people online right that is day six day.

Eight, let’s go back okay, so let me type in message supplies right now. We want to day nine what’s happening day nine day. Nine is the fun bit Dana and it’s actually building your brand okay and at the end of this article, I’ll quickly recap everything so that you understand, but Daniel is building a brand. So the idea of selling on Amazon we want to start with private label. Our private label means you find a generic product and you stick to your own brand on it.

So this is a few different ways on Amazon: you’ve got arbitrage, wholesale use products and then privately, okay and private label, like I said, is basically you find anything anything generic like an iPhone case. You come up with a name right. You come up with a logo. You tell that name and logo to your supplier. You give them all the images that they may need. They put that logo on the product and that product is now a private label product with your own brand, on it okay so day, nine, I’m not giving you too many days first, because this is probably a three or four hour task.

You can do it in one day and that is come up with a name, a logo and some sort of message or idea for your brand. Okay, so, depending on what your product is, one of the three products come up with a name for it. When I say a message for your brand, what I mean is come up with the idea of why you want to sell that product so that when people look to buy it, they’re not just buying a faceless brand but they’re buying into someone’s idea.

Does that make sense right, let’s move on day ten. Let me just write here: build a brand and let’s go to date. Ten day, ten is a fun day date head is ordering a sample mmm. Now, if you’re worried that postal services aren’t going to be working now, you shouldn’t be because they are what they are are I am, and I don’t know anywhere where they have just stopped postal servicing or posting. I should say so.

You can still get a sample from China to the UK and you can actually get that on express delivery. So you should be able to get that within two to three days. Whenever we order a sample, we order a whole batch of samples from the suppliers catalog and then we bundle it with many suppliers. But I’m not going to confuse you with all of that, but basically what you want to do is you want to get a sample from a supplier, but maybe get a few different samples so that you only have to pay one shipping cost, because you all have To pay probably like $ 50 or $ 60, either not Express ship it to you, so you should get it in the next two days.

Okay, so that is what you’re going to do on day. 10 there’s a very easy day. It will take you maybe half an hour, and that is the attempt, take a break for the rest of the day. Okay, so order a sample day 11, what’s happening on day 11 day 11 to day 13 you’re going to do an in-depth keyword, research session you’re going to create your title, your bullet to the description, basically listing creation, so listing creation.

Okay, you can see how this is slowly going up into an arc. That makes a lot of sense in all in just the timeline of starting at Hamill on business. So this is what you want to do, so you want to do an in-depth keyword, research, and this is what I used on guru and I’ll quickly show you some gurus. So you know what I’m talking about, but this is what this is where I would use on guru for keywords in particular, because you’ve got the okay, so you can see what it does here.

I’Ve put in the product right, so these all different products, I’ve researched it takes like maybe 20 minutes for it to load because loading on a lot of keywords – and basically it will give you a whole list of keywords. But as well as the holistic keywords, it tells you the search volume, the amount of money they’re worth the the top 25 people using those keywords, the number of units being sold.

It’S just it’s incredible it. So I mean this. This, for me, is where I use this app the most or this tool, the most just because it is so ridiculously detailed in what I need for keyword, research and when it comes to Amazon. The most important thing is keyword, research that is what’s going to set. You apart anyone else, okay, so that’s when I’ll use on guru, which is just a brilliant app and again, if you want it, it will be in the description.

It is an affiliate offer because that’s how I get money from these articles there’s nothing wrong with that. But it’s I think, $ 1 for the first month and then normal from then on. So you want to, like I said, creative title, creative bullets and create description, and then you want to get your UPC code, okay for some reason, I’ve written here. Ups ups, it’s not the right thing. You want to get a UPC code.

Okay and a UPC code is basically just a product identifier for Amazon. You need two types of codes, a UPC code and an FN SKU code. I don’t want to confuse you with both of them, but just know this one important thing: a UPC code is used on the back end of Amazon right and that’s it. It’S not used on any products or anything like that. You just put it in when you’re, creating a product listing and the F and SKU is the little code that goes on each individual’s product: packaging.

Okay, so that’s the important code well they’re, both important, but those are the different, mint major differences between those two codes. Alright, that’s day 11, today, 13. So, let’s write this down, but day 11 stay 13, we’ve already written it so listing creation. Okay, now day 14. This is the big day. Okay, this day is going to what this day is basically going to get you ready for launch okay day 14 is when samples should hopefully come right now.

This is only if they’ve done Express shipping and it’s been two days – shipping or maybe three days shipping. You might go into day 15. I can’t promise you’re going to get all of this done in 14 days, but this is the idea. This is the aim. It make it a challenge for yourself. These samples should come and you should decide based on the samples. If you wanted – or if you don’t want it, okay, so check the samples check the quality, see which one you like the best and then this is where it gets fun.

You’Re going to make your first order okay, so day 14 is when you actually make your first order, and that is when you’re pretty much ready to launch, because you’ve made your first order. Yes, we’re going to have to wait, maybe two or three weeks now for that order to be created and shipped to you. But in essence, you’ve created the entire business you’ve gone from keyword, research to messaging suppliers to building a brand to creating a product listing to ordering samples to actually ordering the product.

It’S amazing, but there’s one thing: you’ve missed out so far and that is creating photos for your listing because you quit the whole listing article to have photos. That’S when the samples come in okay, that’s where the samples are brilliant, because you can use the sample that you decide to go for as your product photos. Okay and then you can have a fully created listing by the time your product comes in from China.

In let’s say, 2 or 3 weeks time providing you do air shipping okay. So in my mind, that is pretty much all you need to really do now. What you’ll do is when you order from your supplier you’ll give them the logo that you’ve created you’re, given the brand name, anything you need to do, they will give that to them and a later date, you’ll give them any code or anything they need for product. Identifying or any shipping labels they need, and I’m not going to discuss that in this article, because it’s not important that’s two weeks down the line that would be a one month, quarantine article, we’re not doing that.

So let me just quickly recap: this entire article and yeah you’re going to have a very successful quarantine so day, one to five is research day. Six to eight its messaging suppliers day. Nine is building a brand day. Ten is ordering a sample. The eleventh day, 13 is listing creation and day 14. We just write it down is order your product and product photography for your sample. Okay, if you don’t do the profit talk for yourself, you can get someone on Fiverr to do it or you can hire someone to do it.

For example, I do pro photography, so you can always do that, but in my mind that is a successful quality and I hope that all made sense. I hope you liked that article. COMPLETE GUIDE to Nature & Nifflers || NEW ENCOUNTER EXPLAINED

M. Pacific and ending April 30th at 11 a.M. Pacific. I’M going to go over the blog post event, details and I have a really cool new mechanic that has never existed before in Wizards unite. So I’m going to talk to you about that, and I’m really excited about that as well, so make sure you guys stick around because this is going to be everything that you need to know about the nature and nibblers event from the blog post.

It says witches and wizards keep your eyes peeled for signs of a new oddity like combat encounter the poacher. This dastardly villain is targeting majnu ology fountain balls, and your help is needed to save our furry little friends. So please note to enable as many players around the world as possible to participate safely. This event has been adjusted to facilitate playing from home. Please remember: to adhere to local rules and regulations and be respectful of others and your surroundings from able to april 28th.

At 11 a.M. In April 30th at 11 a.M. Pacific keep an eye out for the following. A new oddity like combat encounter the poacher will appear on the map. The feeding the poacher will reveal magic ology traces, including nifflas moon calves, Billy Wiggs, young grap, horns, baby nippers, Akamai, eggs, unicorns and Newt Scamander successfully. Returning at race revealed by the poacher will result in additional rewards, such as rare potion ingredients tonic for trace detection potions.

Gold or silver keys, onyx for trace detection will increase the chance of encountering the poacher as well as a newt scamander special one-kilometer portmanteaus will appear on the map containing Thunderbird or okapi fragments a special assignment with rewards, including spell books or keys and gold. So I am very excited for a new type of encounter. It’S actually been a dream of mine or something I’ve been thinking about for a long time since, before wizard Jean, I even began, and it would be fun to have almost a boss fight like encounter, and I don’t expect these poachers to be particularly beefy.

But one thing that I’ve always loved in article games that I’ve played is when you defeat a boss or you defeat a foe and the loot just comes out of them like they just drop it. I mean that’s something that dates back to like runescape, we’re all the Warcraft all of those old RPGs that used to play, I think about all of the loot just dropping from the boss and that’s a really fun way to reward your players.

So I’m definitely looking forward to to being into this. So I’m going to talk about that in just a minute, but before I do that, I want to go over the tasks so, starting with the tasks we have defeat. What is what is this? What’S going on, so you go to check it out and you find yourself confronted by a poacher. What even are you now? The poacher is basically an oddity that collects and captures all types of different animals and I’m not exactly sure how that is involved with the calamity itself, but the poacher is essentially a batter worse version than mundungus Fletcher, very vicious and very vile.

So once you go into combat with the poacher and defeat them, you will find their loot on the ground. You can find things like I said before: tonic for trace detection, rare potion ingredients, gold, silver keys, all that kind of stuff, all of those different types of things, income from the poacher so make sure you’re. Aware of that, like I said it will basically be the loot that comes out. Those traces will come out of the poachers pockets if you will and you’ll experience those on a map and see them on the map after the poacher is defeated.

So that’s really really cool. I’M excited about that and I’m interested in seeing how that mechanic works and plays out, and now I want to talk about the store bundles. The complementary conservation pack will be free. So that is something that you will get for free and it will contain one silver key 50 spell energy, one tonic for trace detection, and you can only pick up one of those. There will be an intrepid explorer pack available for 420 gold.

You can buy up to five and it will contain four keys. One tonic for trace detection and 100 spell energy. The conservation champion pack will also cost 420 gold. You can buy up to five of those and that will contain four tonic for trace detection to dawdled rafts and 100 spell energy. Personally, I am way more interested in the intrepid explorer pack, just because of the silver keys if you’re into that sort of thing.

That’S great, if not that’s great too, you can continue to play for free, hopefully, we’ll see several silver Keys dropped from the poacher himself, because once you return the rewards and once you return the founder Bowls, that drop from the poacher you’re supposed to be able to See you know silver keys and gold and all that stuff, more often so, fingers crossed for that. I’M also excited about seeing Newt Scamander.

He is a found, a ball that I am lacking. This is basically my home Majid wala ji, family pages, the alchemy and the Thunderbird are going to be in a one-kilometer pork key, so you have a 50/50 shot at that. I personally wish that there were, you know a couple of different port keys. This is actually brought up by orange wizard that we would have different port keys that have one in each, which would be really nice, so that may or may not change after the recording of this article, but as of right now.

The way that it is set is that the one kilometer port key will contain a Thunderbird fragment or a naka me fragment, so make sure that you don’t open those port keys if you are full on either of those stickers until you’re able to prestige, because, like Community days in the past, it will just waste those fragments and you won’t get to collect those or use those on your page. So I hope that that makes sense.

That’S slept on and not a lot of people are, you know taking advantage of it, so I just wanted to bring this article to you guys to you know, maybe just job some.

You know, ideas and whatever and essentially just show you guys like how I’m using it. So as you can see, the average visit duration is five minutes. People are spending five minutes on this website, so it’s it retains a lot of people. So this is again me just kind of I guess explaining like how you can use Pinterest with Amazon. So, as you can see from similar web, amazon.Com is one of the top referring sites to Pinterest.

So what does that mean people kind of like how we did with the Instagram strategy? People are grabbing products from Amazon Associates and remember we go to, and I know I may be going kind of fast so like I’ll try to like work on this, but this is essentially just me trying to explain in the best way possible. I’M not really a teacher, that’s why we’re doing it like this, because I still want to like share this information, so I do apologize.

If you know I’m going too fast or it’s like, I don’t make a lot of sense. We’Re going to get through it together. Okay, so anyway, Amazon Associates is right. Here you go to product, linking product links and again any of these products. You know I’ll, you know we’ll go over. You know some of the niches that you know you want to be in again, like the beauty NEX. Just like one of the top paint payouts cuz again, it pays 6 %, but yeah.

So anyway, you can come here, get your products and essentially like what similarweb was like showing us is that this is what people are doing so seven percent of their top referring sites. Seven percent of their traffic is coming from amazon.Com. That’S essentially again, people picking our products and posting it on to Pinterest. Also tumblr is another the referral website and eBay. So you can kind of see like what’s going on here when we look at their like display advertising, even though we really don’t care for this, because we’re not like necessarily doing drop shipping or anything.

But it’s still kind of you know bring some ideas just to again explain ad networks. Think of these is, like you know, platforms that run ads just to kind of keep it as simple as possible. You know for you guys, like Facebook, as is isn’t ad network because they serve at so it’s Spotify. So it’s snapchat, you know all these. All these different platforms are essentially like ad networks, or at least that’s where, like you know, they’re a form of an ad network, so, like Google Display Network we’ll get into that and like in a later article, but like Google has you know its own, like ad Network because it serves tabula is another website.

Essentially they take like your blogs or, like any articles that you have written or like any like. You know article or written content. They will take that and they will place it on websites such as, like you know, Business Insider, seeing in NBC News, or you know, just a just a couple of different sites that they’ll you know post. You know your content and people, then you know circle back to your site and that’s how you drive traffic.

So this is, you know how it works. I know a lot of people when this is what was really frustrating for me for a long time is just you know, trying to figure out how to drive traffic to you know my brands, you know: how does this work? How do you get traffic because doing the foot chase, especially if you’re an artist – and you know trying to be you know in the city that just you know you can only take that so far, so the the power is definitely in the internet.

Also, you know just for people that are looking for financial freedom, because I I really anticipate a lot of people being on this blog. You know just regular people, just you know, seeking that financial freedom, you get it through the internet, and so in my studies and just you know what we’ve been studying and building this agency. This is how it works. So you want to be. You want to get real familiar with ad networks and there’s a ton of it.

So pop ads is, I haven’t really looked into them, but they’re, pretty big skin links is pretty big for, like I guess more so, like e-commerce stuff ShareASale is ecommerce. Google Display is just general: it’s you, you can kind of look at Google Display as like your retargeting and will explain like retargeting what that and all that is, but I just really wanted to keep it simple today and just kind of explain why we’re using Pinterest And again we’re using Pinterest because 43 % of Americans are on it there’s you know people are staying on the on the site for a long time.

Five minutes they’re visiting a lot of pages. While you know they’re there on the site – and you know it’s – it’s getting – you know 800 million visits per month, so this is this number represents per month. Okay, so that’s a lot of traffic that we can take advantage of and over here we see that there are. You know, people that are already taking advantage of this and it’s at 7 percent and it’s gone up by 300.

You know so I don’t know if that’s like I’m a month. They’Re probably probably is on that, but you know seven percent. You know that’s kind of high, they didn’t honestly it’s kind of not, and that gives us a lot of space to play in here. So just going to walk you through this again, so you can kind of see what’s going on, I’m on my personal on my main brands page. So so I’m going to just show how this works: real, quick, we’re going to make a pin.

So first we’re going to find our product so analyst a so we’re like a so it’s it’s two parts. We have the agency because we’ve had to create that essentially, because we have to advertise me, I strongly believe as the founder of the company and owning every thing and because I’m personally an artist myself and we just got ta own everything. So that’s what Anna was maybe before, and then we also will be making music, because obviously we need to own our music as well. So that is what I know is you know just so everybody can understand it’s one of my brands. It is the main brand. Is the outward facing brand? All my other brands will never be seen, and that should be for obvious reasons or it should be. You know yeah like when y’all start getting this down and y’all understand like how easy it is, so they make a brand and make money and have you know the type of female financial freedom that you’re looking for like you’re, going to you’re, definitely going to understand Why you wouldn’t want you know your brands just being down so anyway we’re going to start up here, so I’m going to go ahead and do CDs and vinyl to let you guys know why music actually has a pretty good payout.

So, as you can see, digital music get 5 % digital articles, 5 % physical music, 5 %. Well, I mean obviously it’s all the same thing so yeah, so we’re going to do music and we’re going to essentially post music on our Pinterest feed here ignore all this. I haven’t really updated it. You know from Microsoft, because it’s software that I’m about to show which is jarv. It’S a automation. Software that you can use to scale and automate your this Pinscher strategy that work that we’re going into here so I’ll leave the link.

Obviously, in the description for Voltaire and again essentially, they just have like they have a lot of different products, but what we use them for as a server again. That can essentially just run these processes on their servers. So I don’t have to run it like online. That it can just run forever ongoing in the cloud or on the server. Two Ways to Increase Auto Sales with Digital Marketing

In the last episode of marketing tuna, we talked about the home base and the outposts the home base. Your website is at the center of everything you do, but how do you make that home base convert people from just looking to actually becoming a lead and ultimately becoming a sail? That’S what we want to talk about today.

So when we look at our home base, we think about it as a traditional sales. Funnel we have prospects, people who know you exist, they might hear your radio ad, they might come to your website. They might see your car at a sporting event. We have leads people who have filled out some kind of information, giving you a name or told you what car they’re interested in and ultimately, sales people who have either serviced their vehicle or bought a vehicle from you.

Now the only goal of our website should be moving people down the sales funnel. We have all these people coming in the top these prospects. They might come from ads social media. You know email all of our outposts, but then what we want to measure is how many of those prospects are turning into leads. In other words, what’s our conversion rate, so, let’s just take a little example. Let’S say that we have thousand people coming to our website.

If a hundred of them fill out a form, you can do the math in your head. What’S our conversion rate, kids, that’s right, ten percent! So how about? If one of those people end up buying a car, you can see that we have a 10 % conversion from some weed to sale and we have a 10 % conversion from prospect to lead now. There’S two ways that we can increase sales on this website. We can either throw more people in the top or we can increase the conversion between each step.

So, if we’re not doing much on social media or email or ads, the easiest step might be to increase that number on top, maybe instead of a thousand it becomes ten thousand, then you can see that we now have a thousand leads and ten sales. That’S not bad, we increase 10x number of sales, but if we can’t drive more people to the site, if we’re already getting lots of traffic, we can just increase the conversion rate.

So what might we do? We might create a button, for example, when people are searching for a vehicle that they can tell us what they’re looking for now we have that name in our system and we can start talking to them. Maybe when people service their vehicle, we take their phone number and we send them text messages. So we have more people into our lead system or we might make the buttons fewer on the home page.

So there’s a clear call-to-action one way for them to give us their information if we can increase it. This conversion rate, even a couple percentage points, you’re going to see big conversions on the bottom of the sales funnel. So when you’re, looking at your website, two things you want to think about: how can we throw more people in the top through our outposts and how can we make that website? Do one simple thing get people to give us their contact information.

Very rarely. Are people going to make a sale on Facebook or email or social media? We need to get them to our website where they learn about us, where they fill out information, and we can know who they are once we know who that person is, you can do what you do best, which is sell cars in just two minutes a week. Amazon Sellers – Let’s Talk GTIN, UPC, and Listing Issues in 2020

What they do is they make subtle, tweaks and sometimes not so subtle, tweaks and then don’t tell anybody about them until you run into them. When you’re trying to do a listing and we’ve started to see this as started in 2019 and we’re starting to see it happen more and more, and we want to approach that well, I have this conversation, so you we can give you some ideas of what to Do the first thing, as Kristin said, is not to panic.

The only constant with Amazon is change, so now is okay. This change is happening. What does it mean for my business and what does it mean for right now and what does it mean for going forward? So a couple of things that we want to talk about that have been working for some people is when you file your GTI, an exemption like we explained in our hotel bundles course. You need to make sure that your your when you’re going to list your item.

It’S in that exact category, because your GTI emption exemption is not blanket through every single category for every single thing, if you’re filing for the home and kitchen category, you need to make sure that product is in there, but we will also disclaim to you that seller, Central is seller central and sometimes they don’t know their ear from their elbow, and so we need to be persistent when you talk to them, if you’re finding error issues but making sure that that exact name matches the exact category that you’re filing in that may solve.

Some problems for you, but also your results, may vary, and it may not so another way to do that is talking about generic and filing your item as generic now with filing things with generic, you are not using your bundle brand with that. Your brand is, then, a generic if you want to get your bundle up, something we’re seeing or your mileage may vary on this one as well. This is sometimes working for some people and sometimes not working.

Now. We want to make sure that you understand that, when you’re creating listings, when you’re going to Cheeta an exception or when you’re trying to list after getting GT an exemption, if you’re getting errors or if you’re, finding that you aren’t getting the to your results to go Through your listing to go through make sure you’re asking yourself: do you want to have brands in my title or in my bullet points that should that can’t do not allow bundling or do not allowed to be? What’S the word, I’m looking for you’re not allowed to use those particular brands in your listing.

So if you’re saying that Kristin’s favorite things is your as in your brand name and you’re, not so when you’re looking at your item, as you know, you’re using Disney, for example, in your brain, if you’re calling it Kristen’s, favorite things and then you’re using Disney or Nike or something else restricted in your listing, it’s not going to go through, so you need to understand when it comes to that that you’re not you’re going to get a listing error, even if it’s a random listing error, if you’re trying to somehow circumvent rules.

So you need to make sure that whatever it is you’re doing for your GTI and exemption that across your entire listing that you’re, following all the rules and policies, it is really important to make sure that you understand when you’re, creating listings what you can and can’t Do that is one of the reasons why we have an entire module in the whole sale bundle system that talks specifically about what you need to know and consider when you are creating listings on Amazon, because there are words you can’t use and that’s one of the Things that Amazon is always changing and evolving.

Sometimes there are words we’re seeing this with gifts right now. Then they won’t. Let you complete the listing, unless you don’t have the word gift in it now, if you’re just trying to have in there, because it could be a gift. This is why the gift word and, in our opinion, Amazon, is making this part of the list, because everyone’s making things giftable right, it’s a can of beans, and it’s a gift beans like that.

Why would you want to keep any coupons, but anyway it’s it’s something that people have abused and when somethi abuse things on Amazon, Amazon has to take drastic action and unfortunately that negatively impacts. However, if you have something like gift bags – and you can prove that this is what it is and why it’s essential, if this is in the title, open up a case with seller, support and explain your situation and oftentimes you’ll be able to get that clear to Be able to list with that in the title now, if you want that easy to go through gift, is the only thing.

That’S stopping you from that. What you can do is take gift out, then open the case, and let them know that you were not allowed to put gift in the title. But your item is an actual gift bag or gift box or whatever it is, and then they can put it back in for you, so you want to get the listing through. Otherwise, you can’t complain about something that being listed if it hasn’t actually been lifted.

It might be into a draft mode or something like that, so you want to make sure another thing that has been helping. Some people get their listing through when using a bundle is using na or non-applicable in the brand field. So if your item does not have a brand, it is either generic or there’s no application. For example, you knitted a crocheted blanket. It does not have a brand there’s no UPC. You handmade this item that is non applicable when it comes to brand.

It’S your own brand, so you can use that or you can use, it doesn’t have a brand. It’S just this knitted blanket so using that has helped some people again. Your results may vary, but it’s something to try to see if your listing will go through it. In certain aspects, the reality is, if you’re running into roadblocks, with all of these listing issues contacting seller, support and keeping your case open, even if they send you a canned response.

Do not just dis just discount the fact that they’re going to give you a canned response and there’s nothing you can do about it. You can do about it, keep your case open and keep it the revolving door, not accepting their canned responses, because you need a response. You need a response and oftentimes seller support is the last to know in those changes when it comes to Amazon and so taking their own policy and putting it back and saying this is what your policy states and then go that way being able to utilize what You know and being able to get that case moving forward or escalated to somebody else who can actually help.

Now, honestly, we’ve had some people struggling with this and they have open cases. And yes, we understand this is frustrating anytime. Amazon changes, anything that results in listing errors or things like that. It’S going to be frustrating a few years back. They changed all UPC codes to have to be gs1 certified and everyone was upside down about, and everyone was freaking out about. Gs1 codes are so much money and I can’t afford that for every bundle I and all the rigmarole reality is everyone adjusted eventually to the new rule to a new policy.

It’S just the way it goes if you play on Amazon’s playground, you’re going to have to follow their rules and yes, we understand the struggle is real and it’s frustrating, but right now, there’s temporary solutions. There’S contacting them eventually, there’ll be a more permanent solution. Another thing you can do to start right now is it’s going to cost you money you’re in a business, and sometimes you have to invest in that by some gs1 codes to get yourself off the ground to start moving in that particular direction, because that might be The short answer to getting your bundle out there is giving it its own UPC code and buying that and being more legitimate about putting bundles out there as legitimate brand and legitimate UPC code, not one that you’re buying off of ebay randomly but which you cannot do Anymore, by the way, Amazon will not accept those now that goes to whether this reminds me back to the earlier days when getting engaged in categories was something that was expensive.

You, if you want to pay something to get you in. I invested a thousand dollars in my business to get on, get it in categories that I wanted to sell him, because I wasn’t confident I can do it myself. The same thing happens here when you are looking to invest in your business. If I want to sell bundles, I’m going to need to make an investment, whether it’s going into brand registry and going down that route, which is a six to seven month, lead time to be able to get your trademark approved before you can go to brand registry.

Or going gs1 codes to start for your brand and moving in that direction, we are seeing a lot of positives with being in brand registry. Com slash hub. If that’s interesting to you, another thing about the hub is in another thing about what Amazon is doing for bundles and for brands, and things like that. It’S requiring custom packaging. If you have something that has a brand on it, Amazon is expecting you to have some sort of branding on either your product or packaging, or both and in the hub next month. We’Re going to be covering this in depth.

Talking about custom packaging, where you can get it from the different types of custom packaging that you can have, because you creating a legitimate brand for your bundle brand for your bundles things like that. They want you to be legit and so we’re covering all these things. In the hub, because these are something that Amazon is starting to require, someone in the group has already expressed that Amazon’s asking them for a photo of their product with a permanently affixed.

So that means you can’t just get a white box and put a sticker label on it and call it a packaging. Amazon wants you to be more legit and because of that, we’re going to do a whole training about custom packaging branded packaging and what you can do and not do in order to send stuff into Amazon so being more. Legit helps because to be honest, Amy and I aren’t facing any of these issues with GTIN and UPC’s and all that stuff, because we’ve registered our brand with Amazon.

We don’t have any of these issues. We put a listing out there, it’s underneath our registered brand and off we go, and so we want that to be as easy for you. We understand it’s time-consuming and it costs a little bit of money, but that we’re not facing those issues because of brand registry and it’s something you want to be able to work towards and so we’re just giving you the information that we have right now available to Us as of February 20 2010, this could change in a week.

It could change tomorrow, but to be more up-to-date about some of these fixes so that you can start getting your listings, approved and and pushed through Amazon. Learning Search Engine Optimization SEO from Scratch

What we’re going to start with is how search engines work, understanding what goes into the algorithm, how they display results and how searchers interact with those results based on what they’re searching for the core set of skills that you are going to need to know is keyword. Research keyword, research is not helpful just from a search engine optimization standpoint, but it’s going to allow you to go further developing additional skills, because the core of keyword, research is understanding.

How searchers think the more you understand how searchers think the better you’re going to be able to do other tasks such as paid search, marketing, analytics social media, all kinds of online marketing, as well as some applications in offline marketing, are based in understanding the words people Use when they search and so we’re going to spend a good amount of time on keyword, research and then, of course, once you understand the words and how people use them, we’re going to apply it to the website.

Where do you put the words? How do you arrange them? What are more important areas on the page than others? We are also going to cover some management tools, tools that will allow you to manage your keywords, manage your website and technically find roadblocks or problem areas in your site in order to troubleshoot and figure out what might be wrong, also beyond just your site. How do you apply search engine, optimization in the world of social media and analytics and online business? The skills and knowledge that you develop from this course are going to be able to be applied in many other areas in online marketing.

Also, a core function of search engine optimization is building links. There’S a lot of things that you can do on your own site and that’s the on-page optimization off page, optimization surrounds the building of links to your site. How I Write My LinkedIn Headline For Sales With Example: Karen Yankovich Interview, LinkedUp Success

So we’re going to go to my profile here and I’m going to show you a couple things that you want to pay attention to, and the first thing that I want you to think about is your headline: okay, a lot of people. I see their headline a lot of people, some headlines say I’m CEO or I’m an accountant or an attorney people. What I want you to do when your regular LinkedIn profile.

I want you to speak to the people that are reading it. I want it to be client-facing, I don’t people, don’t care that you’re CEO right, they care what you can do to help them. So in this headline which, by the way, is searchable by Google and which, by the way, comes up and I’ll, show you exactly. We were talking about before I’ll put my name in a Google search and I’ll show you how it comes up and you’ll see in this Google search and right here.

Like I said, the second thing that comes up is LinkedIn, but you can see my headline right. So you can read that headline right into the Google search before you even get into LinkedIn, so you definitely want to start off with a strong headline and – and you want to have a headline – that’s constantly telling people what you do just really saying when you are Searching for your profile, so your name on Google.

I noticed that you know you mentioned before that you have over. You know 60,000 followers on Twitter, yet the LinkedIn result came above. It did yeah yeah, yep, 65,000 followers. It says here and Leasing came out. I do not have 65,000 LinkedIn connections, so LinkedIn came up higher now if LinkedIn doesn’t come up as hired for you. I do think that if you, if you’re active on Linkedin, it’s going to come up higher if you’re, regularly posting and you’re giving new content on LinkedIn, it’s going to give Google more reasons to bring it up even higher.

And you want that right, especially if you’re taking the time to have a great profile. You want it to come up high, because that’s what people are going to check out right. You want people to be confident. You want to be confident when people are checking you out, okay, so so again in your headline, you know I often tell people when you’re writing your headline. If you don’t feel a little queasy when you hit Send, then you haven’t been confident enough in portraying yourself right.

So you don’t you know you don’t say I’m pretty good at this. You need to say I’m an expert or, like I say, I’m a successful social media strategist. You want to remember you’re more expert than the people that you’re helping, so you nobody’s going to hire me if I say I’m pretty good at LinkedIn right. So I say I own in the fact that I’m a LinkedIn expert and I and I you know people that makes people want to hire me if they’re looking at two profiles and one is constantly saying, they’re an expert and the other ones saying I do this Stuff, you know which one are you going to hire right, so you need to be confident and and really really go out on a limb and telling people how great you are in this red line.

I mean, I think you know. That’S that’s part of your personal brand right. You really want to make sure that you’re positioning yourself as an expert in the eyes of your target customer. So I think this needs to be really okay. What would my ideal customer want to see when they, they read a profile or they’re looking to purchase from someone like me right right? So that’s you use like I like to use like a financial planner as an example.

If you’re, a financial planner you and four thousand forty thousand four hundred thousand other people have that in their headline on LinkedIn. But if your headline says I’m a financial planner that helps women over 50 or over 60 transition from a salary to retirement. Now you’ve got people listening right now, you’re telling them what you’re doing like, who you help and how you help them, and that’s and now you’re going to have people click on that.

So think about what you do and what your special sauce is, that you can put in this headline to attract people to want to click on it. I’M just looking at this headline now as well, and I just normally a lot of people use it for their title, maybe they’re their founder or you know, marketing associate or whatever that might be in that area. So they used to maybe putting one two. Maybe three words in that area I mean I can see there.

You’Ve got three lines, multiple word, what’s the recommendation, so here’s the thing, Google reads this section and I want Google to bring people to my profile. So I’m going to feed Google as much as I can I’m going to think about what are people searching for that I wan na come up as the search result and I’m going to use those words in my headline and I’m going to give Google as much As I can to work with right, so if somebody is searching for a LinkedIn speaker on Google, I want them to bring up my LinkedIn profile right or a social media speaker or social media strategist.

So what you know you don’t want to waste any opportunity to give more, to give Google more reasons. Different people to your profile and LinkedIn LinkedIn is also a powerful search engine in and of itself. So, even if they’re just searching within LinkedIn for LinkedIn expert or LinkedIn speaker, I want my profile to come up. So so you want to use those as many of those words as you can in the in the areas that are searchable so adjusting that in that area, is there a minimum maximum amount of there is? I don’t know I don’t actually know the number.

This is about the maximum. I would be surprised if there’s more than three or four characters more than this um and you’ll notice, I put the little stars in to kind of make it pop a little. I just did that because I you know, I teach this stuff, so I I show people, you know how to do this, as you can see in my headline, so I teach people how to do this, and sometimes you know you want to just stand out from The crowd a little bit, so it’s okay to use these little extra characters.

You don’t know the exact number, but you want to keep going until they totally knock you out, and then you want to keep tweaking it, and so you can use as many characters as you can. Okay, and I think it’s important not to just think about it. For search engine, I mean it’s great to be found, but then it’s also super important to you know the the Rideau or that target customer to make sure that you’re positioned in their eyes as an expert and doesn’t look too.

It needs to look natural and that’s probably more important than this keywords. I agree if you can use the keywords, use them, but more importantly, and more people are going to find it is because they searched for you or they knew you were. They got your business card or you connected with them, because you’re in the same business group right more people are going to see your profile. That way, then, are going to find you from a Google search or a LinkedIn search, so make sure that you’re exactly right.

Pinterest Search Engine: Not Just Nails And Decorating!

We google it in Pinterest, So we’re going. To talk today how to become the most findable business in Pinterest, So have you heard of Pinterest Pinterest Is a very fast-growing social media platform, It’s been around for a while But it’s really come into its own.

Now, let’s talk a little bit about what Pinterest is So Pinterest think of like a pin board or a bulletin board Each Board is represented with a bunch of pins inside of each board. Now each board Has a title or a theme for that board, So this one is keywords this one is Images, this one is workshops and all of these Have tools, hashtags, rose-gold, retreats keywords and Earl Grey tea, So you can have a little bit of everything in here.

Now the cool thing is is, as we are, building our Pinterest board. Not only do The individual boards rank in Google so do the individual pins are findable. Inside of Pinterest, So what happens is is you’re able to then start really Building a thought leadership platform based on the pins and the boards that You share So, as I continue to share over time each one of these boards is Findable and then each one of these concepts, So each one of these board Titles keywords, tools, Earl Grey images, hash tags and key notes.

These are all Going to be seen and indexed by Google Now, as I start, adding more pins into Here then, it creates credibility for each board. So let me show you what I Mean by that So I’ve just googled my name And let’s take a look and see what Comes up on it, Of course I have my website and all of my individual pages. In my site that come up These by the way are the most searched pages on your Website the most visited, I should say, Come down.

There’S my LinkedIn profile. Come down here are the latest articles. Aha, look at that 125 best findability University images, So I click on that. That goes right into Pinterest And what You’Ll see here is that it goes directly to a findability University board. Now What you’ll notice is that people can follow the board Right now. I have 934 followers on this board and 125 Pins So as you come, downm you’ll see that these are all images that I have Posted And I keep gathering them over time So you’ll see here that I’ve got People holding their diplomas, I’ve got infographics here.

I’Ve got all Different kinds of things and people follow that Now I’m going to go ahead. And log, in What we’re looking at is the ability to see how people search And I Can come up here and I could put SEO workshops Alright Now, if I had named Let’S just say I named this one right here: Maybe I named this one SEO workshops Then, if I did ask your workshops here: Then you would see my board here in Pinterest.

You would also see the Individual images that I named SEO workshop in these book pins as well So Remember a pin is just like putting a little thumbtack if you will and you’re Pinning it in these respective groups And each of the boards has its own Keyword theme So keyword being the operative phrase, because the keyword Indicates to Google how to rank each one of these boards, So when you’re thinking About an interesting different kind of visual search engine Pinterest is Perfect for this, Because not only is the largest community women on Pinterest, The Average time is like 40 minutes, which is insane on a social media site.

So when You’Re thinking about it, people love to gather and organize Kind of like a Really well organized closet, The shirts are in one area, the pants are in another You know the jackets are in another. We naturally want to organize by type Now If I am interested in a bunch of different things, I’m interested in… Like interiors and I’m interested in SEO and I’m interested in a Bunch of different topics – I can create all of my pins to reflect what is most Important to me or what’s happening in my life, So Pinterest, If you hadn’t Considered adding this to your marketing mix, I highly suggest you do so because Not only do the boards rank in Google, but also the read time inside of Pinterest is ridiculous and it’s a whole untapped community of Potential visits to your website Followers on your on your social and It’S just a great way to repurpose a piece of content.

So what I mean by that So when you are creating content, there’s three major buckets: you want to think About First of all, there’s the website then there’s the blog. Then there’s the Social share, So we’ve got your website, your blog and your social media. Now they All have this intersection point, So what I want to think about is any content. That we post on a page in the website, gets shared to the blog and then any Image on that page can also be shared to social.

So remember you can share pages Just as well as you can share blogs Now, I’m going to take one blog post that I post Maybe every week And it has an image on it, So of course the blog is resident on My page, That’s where I can find it And then I can take the image from that blog And share it to social Now, so that’s how the website works. That’S what the blog Works Now, let’s talk about social media.

If I have the blogs and someone finds me Let’S say this is in Pinterest And they find one of those images and they click On that, it can either take them back to the blog or back to the website. So You’Ll see that it’s these are not working in their own individual silos. The website can share its pages to the blogs into the social media, The blogs Can also be found on the website and also shared in social media or Pinterest And, of course, the blogs that were already creating have images So share.

Them like crazy, So we’re thinking about a tool like Pinterest. I want you to Think, like a tree, Isn’t that nice I’m a very good drawer Okay, so the trunk right is Seo or whatever phrase that you want to optimize for So that’s the trunk Now What about all the leaves that are in here So Pinterest Helps you to understand if you want to call your board SEO, then inside of that You’Re going to have keywords: Google hashtags Index pay for click and whatever else you want Vlogs But they’re, all pointing Down and they’re fortifying the concept of SEO, So you create a board and Pinterest called SEO or SEO workshops Then, as you’re posting individual pins, On those that this one board you’re building up the credibility for all of These phrases as well, So if I go into Pinterest and I type in keywords or Keyword tools that pin is going to be found When they find that pin they come Back to the board on SEO, So with every single thing that I’m pinning out into The Pinterest universe – it’s all coming back to this board on SEO, So not only Does SEO rank in Google for that board, but all these keywords are now findable.

How to Stop Your Phone and Social Media Addiction in 3 Steps

Now I went to a dinner the other night and one of the first times I’ve ever been to a dinner in my life with people over the age of like 28 or 30, and everyone besides me pulled out their phone when there was a quiet lull in The conversation now this scared the absolute crap out of me now in this article. I want to share how to stop using your damn phone so much, especially because you’re missing out a life which is what happens ironically, when you’re not on your phone.

Hey guys Alex Hein here, author of the book master the day, so I’ll tell you what the first date I went on with a girl that I dated for five years from 25 to 30. She pulled out her phone during like a very brief conversational pause after ordering food, and I waited for like five seconds and I don’t know if she was on Instagram or texting her friend back, but I pulled the phone out of her hand. First date.

Keep in mind – and I said, do me a favor – don’t ever do that again and she gave me this this really like, okay, psycho look and the funny thing, though, is number one. It worked out. We ended up dating for five years, but number two. She became like a vigilante of people not using their phone, while they’re around their friends, and she was a lot younger than me. So I was like 25. She was 20, but all the times when we would go out a lot of her friends would be on their phone all the time, and this really irks me.

It really bothers the crap out of me, but unfortunately, since then it’s only gotten worse because now the generation beneath me has been born with cell phones and born with technology and they’re missing out on this thing, called life. Kids, now don’t even know what not virtual reality is because they’ve lived in Instagram world or in all the other social media worlds. So how do you actually stop using your phone? So much like, let’s say, you’re one of the conscious people we were like alright.

I know I use my phone a lot. I don’t like this. I don’t like being around people when they’re using the phone a lot. What do I do? The first thing is lower the friction right. It’S very easy to use your phone number one. If you have it on you all the time, so what I would start doing is where I wanted to get off my phone more is, I would dedicate times of the day or days of the week where I would just not bring it with me.

So if you go to school or you go to work, you could just as easily leave your phone, for example, leave it in your bag for one class to begin with, or if you’re at work. You could leave your phone in your car and then, when you really need it, you could go during your lunch break, for example, then check and reply to all the social media, stuff or your texts. So the first thing is lower the friction by leaving it somewhere else for a period of time now.

The second habit is actually to increase the friction on doing the things you don’t want. So if you’re on Facebook and Instagram just start by deleting the apps like yeah, of course you can just instagram.Com and facebook.Com/ but just delete the apps. It’S going to you know it’s going to give you that like, and I really want to go to uh yeah screw it. Let me just focus on this alright and if that doesn’t work, put your phone on airplane mode during certain work blocks.

So I’ve shared in some of my articles on productivity here that when I’m working, not only is my phone not on me, it’s either at home. In another room or it’s on airplane mode with me, so I’m a big believer that don’t rely on willpower and discipline that, if you’ve already gotten to the point where you have to just like earth, no do not click like on the picture of the girl. In the bikini, you know, if you get to that point, you’re, probably already out of luck.

The way you chop that friction barrier you either increase it or decrease. It is by leaving the phone at home, putting on airplane mode and removing a lot of the apps. But there’s actually something a lot deeper here, and this goes back to my whole, go sage mode thing and trying to be more conscious about the way you live your life and that is living a life that actually excites you. I know it sounds crazy, but if you live a life that actually excites you guess what, when you go to dinner with interesting people, and you have interesting things to talk about you’re, not going to want to pull out your phone if you’re on a date with A pretty girl or a pretty guy – and you know, and you’re, really interested like what are the chances you’re really going to pull out your phone or, if you’re, going to a really cool meeting for people that want to climb Mount Everest like? Are you really going to pull out your phone when they’re like don’t do these three things or you will die on Mount Everest? Probably not so the irony is that when you live a life that actually inspires you and actually excites, you you’re going to be fully engaged and you’re going to be fully present.

You’Re not going to be the zombie horde of people that are walking around in the car at work in the line filling every spare minute with the phone, and so that, I think, is the biggest hack of all. If you love your work, if you love the people, you hang out with. If you love your life, if your life excites you and inspires you, you’re not going to want to spend it in virtual reality with people that you don’t even know with these fake social updates that people use to try to make themselves look better and show you The highlight reel because, honestly, your real life is going to be better than their virtual life, so I hope that helps now before you go.
