The Unspoken Truth About Being A Diverse Artist

Com, because I saw it myself now this article right here, the dis Lippitt that you have to see is talking about diversity. It’s a this is subject right that we’ve talked about a lot on this blog, but there was an interview that I did with TJ Chapman Bo B’s manager and he specifically went into what b.

O.B goes through as a truly diverse artists and I’ll wait to the end. Before I get into some stuff, that’s perfect because I would like to I mean you know your perfect person person I eggs because for me you know, he’s such a unique artist right and, like he’s very diverse, and so many artists want to be diverse. Like so many people say you want to be a verse and they not, they aren’t diverse for real, but he is like truly diverse, and I remember, like you know, are the cloud knives and things like that and and then you know the the it was a Track that was that would be on a radio everywhere and I’ll be in the sky.

Exactly those tracks were like some of them were a little bit smoker. Some of them were a little bit more Atlantic. A little bit. Hood did Hill had the ones that are more poppy or Hydra 2000s, but right when he blew up with the nothing on you right that will straight pop and when I saw because I was just me, but it wasn’t dome what if it wasn’t bruno board boys On there it could have been urban and it went number one urban true, but a universal sound.

We’re going here like a kid’s perspective and I’m just reading YouTube comments and stuff like that. At the time like you need to hear the airplanes and stuff like that, like that introduced him to such a pop world, and then, when I started to see just reading as more music, I released from the comments perspective. I would see he might do something back more on to you know: Atlanta hooter type size sometimes, and then the pop fans will be calling him a sellout and then I’ll see you know and into her.

Then we won the pop stuff. Those other people are looking at a woman side on some real shit right there. It’s like it’s like as an artist. You work all your life to become a superstar. That’s what you want! That’s what you’re working for five come from the hood. You know I’m saying he don’t come from no suburban night. Please a fan, you know he can’t he come, he come from Decatur, he come and and that’s what he how he grew up.

It just so happened that he makes worldly music, yeah and, and so when he got all he just made Universal saw he he never wanted to be a pop guy. You know I’m saying and and and and really they don’t they don’t even sit well winning. You know a lot of people, always wonder why I like yellow man, you know that’s what every rapper aspires to be, but you know he wanted to be embraced by his people and he just you just made really big music and you know it ended up becoming It’s a gift and a curse having all these different types of fans have been able to make all different kind of Records and having all this success, the fan base is so huge and so diverse um between the age groups, to the cultures to to everything um.

It’s almost impossible for him to make something nowadays that going to go well with everybody and and so then it it, you know, become something’s. You have to deal with and people on our side really don’t really don’t get it and they don’t understand and when you to artist you just wanted to make records yeah you never never tried to. You know they never try to do it. On the only poppy record was on the album that was like.

Okay, damn this, this thing is pop to pop. I was magic, you know him with Rivers Cuomo, you know it went double platinum, it might be triple now, but you know that was the pop record. Yeah um, we did airplanes on bt with Keyshia Cole singing, you know Sam, and so, if you had Keshia on there over Haley now this song, because an urban feel there were Universal records of what they were pop, it was what was put on the made up.

It took him that rock hmm. Yes! Well, yes, oh well, he never tried to do that in and so you know so it’s been a gift and a curse and and be honest is something that you know that he did. He deals with like, and it’s and his crazy, it’s crazy from a management standpoint to to know no matter what he does and no matter how good it is it don’t matter, it’s going to be a segment of people, it’s going to fade and bash.

You know – and this is like wow what I should this is hard. It’s weird, that’s what I was asking, because I was so deep into it and I would literally yeah because before you say it before you hum before you say that. Let me say this because I just helped at for an artist that gets confusing. You know I’m saying: okay, so you’re making this sound and then your fans start talking about hoedown. Are you selling out, and this is that other than this ain’t? What you’re trying to be so now you’re trying to make something to please them, but when you do that you know, then you got these people over here now bashing, you – and this is okay, should it there if I do damned.

If I don’t that’s exactly what I was actually about to say, I know interrupted. That was it. It was fifty to me because I have a diverse like type of music that I like, because of just how I grew up. There would be so many different types. My dad, and so I could enjoy both sides, you know, and they know in the journey of where he came from and all that stuff so I’ll be looking at comment like barely Brewer.

Do you mean, but it was it’s. I always imagined I was a wild situation and he came out with no drama trying to make a point like you know, I mean like there were so many but yeah. I always wonder like how maybe yeah what that was. So that’s why, when I hear artists talk about being, never especially when it’s truly diverse, like some people are stylishly diverse, you can do a lot but you’re still in this pocket like Tori Lane right he’s like he might pick it right and do anything.

But it’s tough that he might write for people and do that stuff. That’s way outside the pocket, but as far as his music, he keeps it pretty much in a pocket. You know and it has similar or overlapping fan base, but like to just do it. How Bobby did it – and I like he, never came out with that rock album that I remember let’s talk about at least I didn’t catch it yeah and he’s you got it. He got all that music and he got.

He got a whole bunch of projects. You know his record. I have magic make music a lot. I just want to know for like for the air for an artist. I definitely wanted to get your opinion, your insight, which you shared life, because I think artists don’t know what their what it actually looks like. We always they hear the message of organics so much and they hear the message of it. Doesn’t matter just make what you want, you can be that versed and consumers are not as trained for diverse music, as you really think like they just aren’t.

They are not. You know, they’re receptive, even yeah, all right. So that’s a snippet and I definitely have some things that I want to say, but before I get into that, I just want to remind you that you haven’t seen the whole interview you can check out the entire interview by just google searching. I mean YouTube: searching TJ Chapman brand man, brand man, Shawn and that’ll pop up, because I don’t know if I remember, to put the link in the description below, but the things that actually keep in mind about this is yeah.

We have a lot of artists that say: they’re, diverse right, but really diversity is this kind of kept within a box right and there’s still the same fans that you’re speaking to you’re, really just speaking to the same fans from a different direction. But when we get into diversity, diversity, then you’re talking about types of music and types of sounds where one fan base might hear it. But then you have a completely different side of your fan base that does not even relate to it at all right and that’s when we start to find these troubles when you’re a truly diverse artist when you’re a a widely diverse artist.

You have this conflict of interest that we talked about in this interview, snippet right and that’s when you find a lot of trouble. That’s what I’m trying to get a lot of people to avoid when they’re starting off, because if you put out some music and on one hand your fans are loving it, but then, on the other end, you have these other fans. That, literally, not just say, that’s not the song for me, but he’s selling out for creating this type of song, and then I drop another song and now.

Finally, this fan base side is completely okay with it in their back and love with me again. But now this other side of my fan base is like yo bro. We hate you or you’re a sellout from their perspective, you’re always going to be in this conflict and it’s just a hard thing to work with, but even greater than that for artists aspiring to blow up. It’s just a hard thing to ever create a foundation to blow up off of again a lot of these artists that you see that our diverse quote unquote, write a lot of air quotes, they blew off off of one song or one sound right, and then they Found other ways to get their fans to like them: either it’s the personality that they had.

That became larger than life right onward. It’s something like. Let’s say they create songs that have different sounds, but that those same fans like it. They, like the content of it’s more about the content than the phonics itself. There there’s so many ways to get around that stuff, but the more you focus on trying to be completely diverse, and maybe you aren’t as diverse as you might seem, and that’s what I want people to think about as well, because somebody some people, I honestly feel Like after talking to some artists, they feel like they have to be diverse, they’re aspiring to be diverse when they’re not capitalizing off of what they already are right.

And then it’s really just creating confusion in the music and that’s just the honest, guy’s truth. Where, sometimes you aren’t super diverse, you aren’t really good at a lot of different types of music but you’re killing it in one area and you’re, not capitalizing on that, because it became cool and training too. Everybody wants to beat our verse, but in the 90s it wasn’t this huge cool thing to say I listen to all types of music, but now you ask people, what do you listen to and a lot of people say I listen to a little bit of everything, But then, when you go down and looking through their playlists and the things that they actually listen to based on their real behavior, they don’t really listen to everything right and that’s where your fans can throw you off.

You see people like giving people Big Ups right and praise the people for being that verse, but then you actually find out it once you go be diverse. They don’t really feel that way right and it’s not exactly what it seems. So that’s just something to keep in mind: there’s no better way to see that other than what was in TJ at Chapman’s interview. Talking about this real experience of what it’s like, this real conflict of what it’s like when you have a truly diverse, not just sound right, but more so even in a diverse fanbase, because your music so diverse, it actually speaks to different people.

Not just please. It’s the same people from a different way and how hard that could be as a career other than that man. Use TubeBuddy When Uploading Your YouTube (or Not)

Y2 buddy may be something that you’d consider. So, let’s go into my account. I’m going to upload a article that I made it’s kind of like a test article and I’m going to use the beta upload.

That comes up right here for upload article all right and here we go. I went ahead and made a test article in my Camtasia account and it actually just goes right to a folder, and I pull it up from here and you wanted to upload your mp4 file. Just in case you weren’t aware, I do have a full article of uploading, a YouTube article and all the steps, but for this article today I just want you to see the difference of using YouTube buddy and not using it.

So my article is uploading. You can see that I already have my description in there ready to go. I don’t have to type it in every time, all right, it’s already loaded. I did something short on purpose now. You can add a thumbnail right here. We’re not going to do that today because, like I said, I want to show you what happens when you use two buddy and when you don’t now, what I’m going to do is I’m not going to do any other parts I’m going to save it as a Draft and then go back into my account cuz.

I want you to see where I have to put everything in, like my keywords and all that stuff and the tags, it’s a little bit easier to see. It’s almost done: processing, okay, once it’s finished processing again using this version, you can go in and set. You know your your article to show later and all that stuff. That’s that’s not what we’re doing today, alright, so I’m going to hit done and I’m going to go in my list of articles and I’m going to pick up the draft.

So I finished that out and now I want to. I went back in into my list of articles and it’s in draft mode still because I haven’t done everything yet, but I want to show you the tags. Okay, so here let’s say I named it, I’m how to find se. Oh okay, I have to sit here. This is it. I have nothing else popping up, so I really want you to get a good shot of this. How to find SEO. I have to go find all my tags myself, all right.

Now I’m going to upload this article, not the same one, because YouTube will notice it’s a duplicate, but I made another sample article and I’m going to upload it in Chrome and it has the Chrome extension to buddy connected to it. So look here, everything is pretty blank, it does have an end screen here. I can go in and list my article I can put the playlist in, but it’s very very basic, and these are all the steps that you need.

You need to do your thumbnail. You need to put your tags in. You need to list it when you’re going to post it your playlist and your end screen. If your monetized, you can add cards, but that’s it there’s nothing else. I can scroll all the way to the bottom. Nothing else here. Alright, so I’m going to save that and now I’m going to go, pull up, Chrome and we’re going to upload a different article.

Alright, I am in Chrome. I just want you to see that that I moved over. I didn’t want you to have to go through all that. My other article here is called sample, delete number 2 and we’re going to go ahead and upload that, like I said, I can’t upload the same one cuz YouTube will recognize it as a duplicate. Now you see here I’m using upload article beta, just like I did on the other one and so far everything looks pretty much the same.

Doesn’t it let’s go to the next page I can go in. I can add my playlists my tags, my endscreen everything pretty much looks the same. Doesn’t it all right so now we are looking at the view where I opened it back up to edit and look at how much more is here. If I go down here – and I say I add – a tag that says how to find SEO search engine optimization now keep scrolling down. Look what happens. Look at all the suggestions.

This comes from to buddy, I can go in here and it’s going to tell me different suggestions. Okay, now it was using see how it says, delete and all that it’s actually basing that on my title. So, let’s change the title because we’re not getting an accurate suggestion SEO or let’s just call it search engine optimization alright. So now what I’m going to do is refresh down here refresh my scores and it should refresh what it brings up.

Okay now see how it changed. I changed the title and it’s bringing up different ideas for search engine optimization. Now I just typed in my first keyword. Typically, I type in the exact same keyword as my title, so how to find SEO it has a score of 36, which is pretty good that score the higher. It is the better. That means it’s searched a lot. If I go down here, I can use any of these keywords. These are the most popular keywords.

They usually have a score next home. So, let’s let’s go up here and I can go into the suggested list and under suggested it will have a score next to them, if they’re, not in the other. I don’t know why sometimes that pops up and sometimes it doesn’t it might be, because I changed it a couple times now. This popped up, suggested, taps keyword, search, is a great keyword, see how the number is 13, and I can just put a little click next to these.

Now you want to read them. You don’t want to just click them because they came up because sometimes what your article is about doesn’t really match the keyword, and it’s not really going to help you it’s. It is a a tool and it’s doing the best it can to find the best keywords for you, but you know I was looking for SEO research keywords. All of this is actually applicable, and over here I can find I can look to.

Are there different keywords that can I get that I can add? I always add my name so that has a high score make money online. It has to do with that affiliate marketing for beginners. So I can look and see. Are there any blog keywords that would match as well and then I close it and all those keywords will show up but look how easy that was for me to find the keywords that I need, and here it’s even going to going to give me a score.

271 characters out of 500, so I didn’t even use them all. So I can go back down here and find more now. What I’m trying to do this wasn’t a good topic by the way but see this vid IQ. That’s a vid IQ scores! That’s not going to help add the actionable score right here. You want to get that as close to 50, as you can. Typically, I will go in and find keywords and that score will go up to like 46 or 47, but this is what to buddy.

Does. Okay, buddy also look up here at the top there’s something else that I love that it does, but it tells me actively how many people are searching for my articles and in the last 60 minutes, there’s been seven and then the last 48 hours there’s been 297. I’m still at a newer Channel, I’m like I’m very close to being able to get monetized, probably by within the next few weeks. So but it’s been cool to read those numbers go higher and higher.

You want to be careful about comparing yourself to some of the bigger blogs you want to read them see what they’re doing try to learn from them, but I don’t want you to get so hung up and looking at them that you compare yourself to them. Everybody started where you are now, whether you’re at 10, subscribers or if you have three thousand or 10,000 everybody started with zero. We all start at the same place, but this is a tool.

That’s going to help. You be better with your search engine with your keywords: okay, so that the analytics will pick you up better or the algorithms sorry. So anyway, that is one simple thing that two buddy will do for you. There are lots of others, but I wanted to show that today for this article as the main thing so click below there is a link for you and the neat thing now. The last time I checked, if you’re, a new blog and you’re under a thousand subscribers to buddy, will offer you 50 % off for your monthly fee, so it’s usually nine dollars a month for the beginner they’ll charge you 450 again.

That was something they were offering. I don’t know if it’s gone but check that out, especially if you’re new, and I thought that was really nice of them to help the new the newbie get started and the more I used this tool, the more I’m sold on it. Actually, I know I’ve made other articles. I said I’m not really sure, but because I was still deciding between two buddy and vid IQ and I’m leaning towards buddy.

To be honest, I think, there’s more in there that’s going to help you with your blog. Alright, if you liked this article, give me a thumbs up and don’t forget to subscribe.

Profitable Blogging For Beginners – Creative Commons

Many people dream of blogging for profit, and this goal is not far beyond the reach of someone, with average intelligence, a willingness to work hard and a basic grasp of blogging technology. However, very few people manage to reap the profits they want from their blog. Most people who attempt to make money with their blog do not succeed.

For two reasons. Often, bloggers have unrealistic expectations of how fast their readership will grow and how much money they will make and when these expectations are not met, the disappointment can crush the desire to continue blogging. The other trap that many bloggers fall into has to do with blacking plan. If you want to turn a profit as a blogger, the key to success is to make a realistic plan and stick with it to succeed at blogging for profit.

The main thing that you will need is a large readership, the higher your traffic. The more advertisers will agree to pay you, however, cultivating the regular visitors that you will need in order to make a profit, isn’t easy as more and more blogs appear each day having a great idea or a wrong. Wonderful writing style is no longer enough to get attention. You need to be able to market your blog effectively too many bloggers spend all their time writing posts almost no time marketing their project to be certain updating, as often as you can, is a great way to keep your blog high on blog roles and high-end blog Search engines like technorati, and once your readers know that you update frequently, they will return your site on a regular basis.

However, it does not matter how often you update if nobody is reading your page, so don’t skip on the time that you spend drawing visitors to your site to make your dreams of blogging for-profit or reality. Try decreasing your number of posts and using some of that time to draw new visitors by setting up link exchanges with other bloggers, making contacts in the blog community and following other established modes of winning traffic.

Of course, even if you are mark a marketing genius or have a really great idea for a blog, success is not going to happen overnight. How to build a personal brand on social media

Like me, I guess you’re struggling on how to build a personal brand on social media. I’ve been studying on this topic for a while, and I think I finally got it. I finally found the four most important things to build a personal brand, and I know you heard advices on find a target audience or find your own niche of your tentacle.

Be consistent, but I want to go more deep. I want to get to the core of how to build a unique brand, and I boil this down to four points, because I know your struggles right when you put something on Twitter or blog or you upload a article on YouTube unless you’re famous Hollywood star, like Will Smith it’s really hard to have that charisma from day one? That’s why for know more people like us, we need to build the strong brand from scratch, and so, let’s dive right into it.

The first point to build a strong brand is belief. People resonate and follow strong beliefs, for example, Evan Carmichael who’s, a famous entrepreneur. He believes that everyone has a Michael Jordan level, talent at something Steve, Jobs and Apple, say think different right. A belief is also what you want this world to be in the future. The ideal people in society and how they should be. I believe that everyone is put on this earth for a reason and it’s our responsibility to find what that is in pursuing life that is full of joy and fulfillment.

So what do you believe in? What do you want this world to become? If you don’t articulate what this belief is, your brand will not grow? The second point is: stand against a brand needs to stand against something and stand for something. If you try to be in the middle and try to please everybody, you end up pleasing nobody right. You need your lovers and haters and a brand that stands for something and stands against.

Something is really powerful. You see this in human history right: democracy versus socialism, East versus West. Whenever you position yourself in what you believe in you will get haters, but you’ll get lovers and that’s the only way you can raise your brand presence. I believe in self development itself, Rawls. The more you grow in progress, the more fulfillment and joy you will have in life. That’s what I believe in so what I’m standing against is to live a decent life to live on autopilot, to repeat the same day.

Over and over again, I stand for refusing to settle on being mediocre to live a normal life. What are you stand for, and what do you stand against? If you make this clear, the more power you will have in your brand? The Third Point is your story. Why do you do what you do? Why did you start believing in what you believe every successful brand has a strong story inside humans are attracted to good stories in a good story, is made of struggles and overcoming those struggles.

The reason why humans get attracted to these kind of stories is because they don’t want to end up being suffering or experience the same kind of struggles by themselves. They want to learn from it to avoid that kind of struggle in the future. That’s why they get attracted from the DNA point of view to those kind of stories. So your story on your brand or what you believe and why you believe in is really really important.

My story isn’t that perfect, but when I moved from America to Japan, when I was 10, I needed to adapt the society in. In a sense, I needed to be like someone else to be an average kind of person and go after the same kind of goals. Like going to a good university and get a good job in a big corporation and climbing up the ladder in the corporation and now having the opportunity to live in Germany as an expat, though all the work is quite challenging and exciting.

There’s always some part of me in my head saying that is this really? What I want is this really when I’m fulfilled and passionate about, and that’s why I try to put my energy and my full-time job first and try to build a side hustle. That’s following my dreams and passions, and that’s why I strongly believe that we should never give up on our dreams. So what is your story, and why do you do what you do? The fourth important thing is value value proposition.

Now, what you believe and stand against in your store is quite personal right, but a strong band always resonates with other people. It captivates other people’s hearts and add values to them. Value proposition is a difficult term. It’s simply like this. You need to find what your audience wants. That’s the first step you need to find, while your target audience your ideal client wants, and in order to do that, you need to find who your target audience is, and everybody says this, but nobody is really trying hard enough to identify who that is.

You need to literally pull out a paper and pencil and write down who your target audience is how old they are. One of the agenda is: what are their education? What are their incomes? Where do they live, which country? What do they want? What is blocking them to achieve their goals? What are they suffering? What kind of difficulties do they have? How do they spend their weekends? You need to be really specific on this.

You need to really narrow down who that is, and once you do, that you need to find what they want, and the second step is you need to find what you love doing and what you’re good at now. That’s the hard part right. You need to make an inventory of what you’re really capable of doing what kind of skills you have and what you’re passionate about and to find this interception of what they want, and what you’re capable of providing most people get stuck here.

My tip on this is define who you are and why you wanted five years ago. In my case, I was just focusing on my work, my full-time job. In my case, I would wish to know that artificial intelligence, AI might replace my job and my job in the future like five years. Ten years later might not be secured, and also that, if you tap into your potential and find your own passion, we all have the possibility to go out there James and be financial free.

So it’s easy to get stuck on what you can really provide value to your ideal customers. But if you find a way to give advice five years ago to yourself, things might get easier. So, to sum up, a strong man always has a strong belief, a thing that they stand against on story on why they believe on what they believe and a value proposition. On top of that, I would like to leave you with one more thing and that’s to be yourself and be authentic.

Different is always better than better, but the key thing here is that, being yourself alone is not that powerful, you need to become better than who you are now to become great. Obviously, all the brands out there keep on reinventing their products right. The iPhone always has a different version, so you always need to upgrade your soft. You need to always upgrade yourself and keep on improving. You can’t just lie on the bed and eat Doritos and read Netflix all day long.

That might be you authentically you, but in order to build a personal bang, you need to keep on developing. You need to keep on improving yourself so that people get inspired from you. So if you like this article, I know you like this one because to find your purpose in life and if you’re new here hi my name is Joey in this blog is about self development tips to change your mindset changing your life.

Sister Circle | Building multiple streams of income with money expert Dr. Lynn Richardson | TVONE

Please welcome back down and circle. Dr. Lynn, riches, yes, absolutely so! The dr. Lynn, you have a new book coming out called Parsippany and I’m going to read it exactly.

It says it’s a guide to creating and balancing multiple streams of income. Would you tell us a little bit about this, but I love the title by the way you think. Well, I wrote this book because when I was in my early 20s I had a whole lot of jobs. Like you can come to my house on a Saturday. I could write you an insurance policy of resume teach you how to get a job, how to get a man how to quit a man all over the place.

It was like. My name is Lenny and I got plenty okay. This is way too much, I’m moving, but I’m not going anywhere. So I decided to create a book, so people could actually learn how to use all of their gifts all of their talents and to have them operate like a symphony and the orchestra and their many different instruments. Yeah. If you play the instruments, you know the piano and then the organ and the cello it makes one beautiful sound.

I was going to put you in my pocket. Take you home with me: okay, but you you talk about having only one stream of income is hazardous to your wealth yeah. Can you explain that to us? Please yeah I mean, if you have one income stream and the job lays you lays you off or the boss doesn’t like you or the industry completely just goes upside down. Yeah then what happens to your wealth, and so I say that everybody is an entrepreneur.

That’s not just reserved for jay-z and Diddy and Oprah. He and Russell said: oh yeah everybody’s an entrepreneur. So if you want to be a doctor, you should still have multiple streams of income. If you want to be a teacher, you should have multiple streams of income. You can tutor, you can teach, you can do things on the side, so we should teach everybody not to go to school, get a good education going to get a good job, but go to school, get a good education and create jobs.

Yes, yes, okay, we talked about my chemistry’s of income, but how do you avoid being the jack of all trades and master? You have to find your purpose. I think that’s easy. That’s the key yeah message: key yeah! You have to find your purpose and if you do what you love, the money will follow. Yes, but you have to be consistent. You have to run your business like a business. You have to stay consistent.

Having your own business doesn’t mean you just wake up whenever you want really having your own business means you’re like working at it all the time and so trying to get to the place where you know what to do and how to do it. It comes from looking at what you’re good at what do people tell you you’re good at what do you do so easily that you think it’s nothing yeah, that’s probably an income stream and then what about all the side hustles that you can get so when you’re Trying to get to the next level financially and create streams of income, you want five active streams of income and then for passive streams.

That’s money that you don’t have to work for. It just comes in to you. So we talked about all of that and the boats almost like a residual residual income. Yes, you’re, investing from businesses that you get paid because of the work of others, multiple ways like that. One thing: I love what you said when you were like you know when you have your own busines on your own business, you just don’t wake up when you want to.

You know, like sometimes the the store may say it opens at 7:00, but I roll up at 7:00 yeah and it’s still not open, and then you kind of hang around seven-30 yeah yeah. I talk about that see. We don’t want to run janky business come on. Jinke businesses run jingle badging with bad people funk-defied in Japan, it’s all kind of together, but we want to be professional. We want to put our best image forward.

We want to make sure that we people can reach us, have social media. So not only do I talk about how to start a business and how to have multiple businesses, but why having multiple businesses makes good financial sense, because this system, the economy, operates on giving people who have businesses over 460 tax deductions. So if you are an employee, you only have about seven or eight, but if you have businesses, you have multiple tax deductions, including, for example, hiring your kids to work in your business.

You get twelve thousand dollars in deductions per child, but money that you pay them. You can now pay for their tuition. The children have to be what the maximum age is 18. The minute you shall hire them if they’re over 18. They just have to pay taxes on the money. If they’re under 18, they don’t have to pay taxes, and it’s not a sweatshop you. Your children can work in your home-based business. They can do chores and then people say well what about toddlers and infants an infant can model, so your child has to be able to do any job that any other child can do.

So if I had an infant because formula and diapers is about three, it’s like you’ll be poor trying to buy that stuff. But if you hire your infant or your toddler and then three and four-year-olds they can use iPads. So they can actually help you with social media. They can do research. My youngest daughter Kennedy has been working for me since she was four. She wanted a desk, but she’s been working for me since she was four all of my kids work in the home-based business.

Any other nieces and nephews and guide children who ask for money, they get a job too. Everybody gets a job. Everybody gets a job because I give you the money. You can’t pay me back, but if I pay you a salary, I get to write it off and you get to learn some financial skills. Let’s talk about the many people who want to start businesses and they pour their money in their time. Their effort into these businesses, but they still can’t seem to save money yeah.

So how can how can they keep money in their business? Well, the Bible says that plans fell for lack of counsel, but with many advisors they succeed. So anybody who wants to start a business you should get a team. You should have a consultation. You should do a think-tank. You should think about all the ways you can make money without spending money. So the key in the beginning is to have low overhead extremely low overhead high profit and then move forward from there and from your profits.

Then you reinvest in your business and expand. Let’s talk a little bit about your nationally syndicated radio. Show the millionaires table so tell us a little bit about that. I’m sure you’re, probably giving information like you’re, giving here right now. What makes you say, listen! This needs to be something that everyone knows. What did you see and what inspired you to go ahead and move forward with that syndicated show? Well, I have to be honest.

This is one of those things that somebody else saw in me that I didn’t want to do myself. So the president of wvo in radio, melody, Spann in Chicago, said Lynn. I want you to do this new show called the millionaire’s round table and I’m thinking – oh my god, I don’t want to do radio blah blah, but I’m great at radio all right now. The information I was a radio show years ago, so it’s about creating millionaires, one family.

At a time you don’t have to be a millionaire, we’re going to teach you how to become $ 10,000 $ 10,000 to a first-time homebuyer. Go to Linda millionaire comm get all the details. Well, she said so. Thank you so much for all the amazing information. If you want to know more about generating multiple streams of income, be sure to pick up her book, the symphony, a guide to creating and balancing multiple streams of income everywhere, five books are sold.

How To Use Features Vs Benefits In Digital Marketing

There’s a big distinction between each of those by the end of this article, you’re going to have a clear picture on exactly what you should be talking about, how you should be positioning your brand or your product or your service, and really get some clarity about how To create a powerful marketing message: hey there, my name is brandon brashears and I create daily digital marketing articles.

So, if you’re trying to grow your brand or your business with digital marketing, this is a great place to learn. You should totally consider subscribing if you like, the article hit that thumbs up button and if you have any questions, comments need help with anything comment below happy to answer questions for you. So let’s talk about features and benefits. Features are very different from benefits because features.

What are what make up the product or the service to the things that you talk about and a lot of times when you see especially brands and businesses, doing their own marketing and their own digital marketing they’ll get into the trap of starting to talk all about The features of what they offer you’ll see this a lot too, with with real estate and service providers and just everybody when you’re so close to your solution and your service a lot of times.

You assume that people understand what the actual benefits are, but truly you have to get really really detailed about what are the benefits of your product and service and not just talk about the features so I’ll give you some examples here. Let’s say you are selling a bicycle, for example, in your bike shop here to sell bicycle. You start talking about all the things that make that bike cool. You start saying hey this bike.

Is you know it’s really lightweight and only weighs 11 pounds, and it has 11 speeds on the back and it has hydraulic brakes and it is made in the USA and all of these things that make the bike interesting people want to know about the features if You’re selling jewelry look at this. This an engagement ring, it’s made out of platinum and it has a two carat diamond and it’s this quality of diamond those things are definitely important.

It’s important to understand what you’re selling to be very specific about how you sell things and describe it well, but people don’t typically buy like through that. With that engagement ring example, it’s a perfect example: people don’t buy an engagement ring because it’s a flawless diamond because that is, you know somehow better. What does that flawless large diamond say about the person buying it? You know if we look at diamond rings and engagement rings.

That’s actually a perfect example and here’s why people that are buying engagement rings, especially larger, more expensive engagement rings. There’s not any actual need for that product right. If you don’t, you know, people can completely get married without having a two or three carat diamond and it mean even cubic zirconia looks the same. But what’s the difference? How do you sell that to somebody they’re not buying the diamond, because it’s a diamond and it’s going to be useful and it’s going to be long-lasting? If you think about it, diamonds are actually totally useless.

They are pretty to look at, but you know that’s specifically you’re buying status you’re, showing off what you’re, what you know, you’re your spouse has you’re saying: hey you’re valuable to me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Here’s this amazing, expensive gesture that I’m giving you right there’s so many additional meeting meanings that that ring actually represents, and that specifically, is the benefits when you’re thinking about your product or service, you know it doesn’t matter what you do.

You need to think about. The actual benefits of what it is that you’re offering to the person who wants that specific offer. So I mean this completely changes the marketing that you do it’s going to completely change the the way that you call out the audience. It’s going to change the way that you engage with the audience. It’s going to change the way that you talk to them. I’ll, give you some examples here.

I was doing some marketing for a software company and it was very busy professionals and it’s a software that helps them to reduce the amount of administrative work they have to do when they’re doing billing, and so I thought to myself. Well, we have this cool software. It can do all of these amazing things and the industry that we’re just working in was primarily female and they were primarily practice owners who the owners of the business who are busy they’re overwhelmed they’ve got so many things going on a lot of times.

They’re mothers – and so I said, let’s target in on a very specific subset of mothers who are busy and overwhelmed, and let’s tap into that mother guilt that they have right and we’re going to talk about. With this software we could say: hey the software’s better. You can allow you to capture more payments. It’s going to allow you to make more money. It’s going to allow you to work less on the business work more in the business there’s so many benefits right, but what we ended up doing was we tacked opt in on one of the primary benefits.

You don’t have to stay late, every night, filling out paperwork. That’s mindless, this gets done for you. You get to spend time on things that are actually important so like that is extremely powerful. Instead of just talking about the things that your product or service does you’re giving them more time with their family, we used images of a mom reading stories to little kids and people that are busy moms who work cuts to the cord they’re like geez.

I need to be home, I’m missing this. I don’t ever get this back. You see how different that is how powerful that is. If you are trying to sell something, if you say hey, this works better, it’s good for it. You should do it. Everybody knows. What’s good for them, everybody knows what they should be doing right. If everybody did what they knew, they should be doing. Everybody be eating vegetables, never eating candies, nobody would be smoking, nobody would be drinking and everybody would be super healthy.

But that’s just not the case right people do things because of emotion. They do things because of status. They get and they buy things not for the features they justify. Those features as logic, typically with the emotion on what it does for them. So that is a huge takeaway when you’re selling the benefits you usually can justify that really well with the features. So how do we break down what the actual benefits are now? I think that the best thing to do is to number one get clear about who your clients and customers are going to be and really define what their before state is, and what they’re after state is.

I have two articles that are very powerful for this, like what really really in-depth I’m going to cover it here, just a little bit. But if you click on these cards up here, you can go to both of them. One is defining your client avatar, and this is step one in any kind of marketing. That you’re doing you need to know who are you targeting and then number two you need to define what their before and what they’re after is digital marketing gives you the ability to get laser focused on your targeting on your demographics that you’re choosing on their psychographics.

That you’re choosing, and so you need to create marketing, that’s speaking to people specific people that you’re targeting you’re not trying to be. You know I was. I was seeing um I’ll, give you an example here I have one of my former clients who is doing ads and I see what they’re doing now and they are just being so bland they’re trying to reach everybody in corporate America and they’re ending up being extremely Boring and very very ineffective because they’re, just not talking to any group of people like think about Hertz rental cars, for example, no offense, Hertz rental cars, but anytime, I see their ads they’re just another commodity right, there’s no reason actually choose Hertz their ads and their Content super boring and, as a result, they’re not really speaking to any group of people you’re, just showing yourself as a commodity.

If you’re trying to reach everybody, then what’s going to happen, is you’re going to end up reaching nobody. What are the people that do reach with? You are going to choose you just for reasons like hey. This is a good price or it’s convenient or I need it right now, they’re not going to end up working with you because you’re making a better pitch and that’s how you make a better pitch to them. You say here are the benefits.

Are you this person? You have this problem. This is the promise that our brand banks – and this is what we’re going to do for you if you use our product or service – and I think that’s where benefits come in so features versus benefits. Features are important, but don’t fall into the trap of always talking about features. I hope this was helpful. If you have any questions, comments need help with anything comment below.

If you enjoyed this article be sure to subscribe, hit that thumbs up button, and I will see you on the next article have a fantastic day.

Business Development and Consulting with Pam Gockley on SynergyCafe with MagicBrad

It’s the internet. Lifestyle show about career finance, relationships, spirituality and wellness, we’re moving the online chatter over to real life activity, and now please welcome your host of synergy. Cafe magic Brad, hey enough friends, magic Brad! Here, synergy cafe in the synergy collaborative and I’ve got a new friend online and she’s from over in the east side of the world over by the ocean.

There and her name is Pamela. Are you doing Pamela, I’m telling fabulous? Thank you magic. So it’s one hour. One hour over there from central time right, I believe, said yeah. I lives in Asheville North Carolina, for I think it’s just one hour. No big deal easy, breezy. Ok, so the first thing we want to do is find out who you are and do you have kids, you married. You got pets who the heck are you.

My name is Pam cockley and I started a business 21 years ago and have been off to the races ever since that during that time I actually got married to my partner. So we have separate offices and it works. So he does one part of the business and I do another part of the business, so we worked out really well. I have two for babies to kitty cats, who I love dearly, and I decided early on that. I did not want children by Troy face and you know you have to feed those things every day, so you know I thought it would be better for me not to go that route.

You know some people like, oh and like no, I decided not to have children um and I love my furbabies and have a great husband yay. So you said you started a business so well, that’s the next question is: what do you do? What is it that you do on this business? We started 21 years ago as a marketing company. We help businesses grow their business through connecting with your customers. So when the economy crashed into Nate, we everything changed, and I help businesses who have not made that transition to customer centric and are still thinking they can put ads in traditional marketing.

And they can tell people how great they are, which is not going to work. And I help them transition into a more customer-centric, modern way of doing business. Just like you – and I are talking today, this was not going to happen. That’s kind of the way that the world works nowadays and it’s more evident now than ever because of this internet thing, and I think it’s also very important at a business that doesn’t quite get this to say.

You know what I just don’t get this and to work with someone like you. That does get it, because it’s very, very time-intensive should I be on facebook. Should I be on linkedin? Should I do articles? Should I do podcast yeah yeah? Absolutely absolutely. If it’s not me work with a professional who has the credibility and the experience to do it, I rail against people who claim they can fix issues but have no solutions.

So then it around a while. Well, there’s there’s too many things to read these days for an individual, a single business owner to deal with all these different things. So it’s best to outsource to someone that does get that it’s and the nice thing is, you don’t have to have them as an employee. You can using this contractor. So when do you, when do you do your work? Do you do your? I personally. Are you a name or a PM person? You must be an AM person because you’re here now I am an a in person.

Boo, boo boo. I love. I love getting up early in the morning. Absolutely so, when you work with your clients or do you work, you’re like like a helper on call kind of person, we’re kind of on an on call because of the the Internet itself is twenty-four seven, so we do have our own server. We do do hosting. So we’re kind of available twenty-four-seven to our clients, absolutely got it. And then, where do you do your work? You actually go to the clients offices, or do you do it all remotely, or do you have an office that you do like a studio or something like that? You guys were kind of and the really nice thing is.

I do all three of those you know. I do have my own office, I can work remotely and I do my favorite is face-to-face, not all possible. I get face to face whether it’s in the same room or a skype. I do a lot of Skype meetings because I like to see people’s faces, because you can tell a lot about a person by how their how their body language is. Sometimes I don’t even listen to what they say so much.

I hate to admit that, but I just I just look: how they’re looking you know, farm and being face to face like this is easy. Oh you’re, a social media expert, huh, yeah uh-huh roll roll eyes shaking of the head, so I at all costs. I try to get it in the face to face, but if not phone call or email or texting works as well, I like to get the the article thing. That’s why I’m doing these all articles, so people can know who you are and not think that you could be anybody from the Philippines or who knows where posing as you and it’s nice to actually see you without a fake green screen beach behind you and I, Like what you mean it’s not on the internet, it’s not real come on.

So again I don’t like take too much time, but can you kind of summarize your process of how you do your work? Sure I’ve actually written two books once called the reputation factor and the other ones called the art of running red lights and in those two books I lay out how I fixed our business, so we were so successful with the transition to a reputation, centric customer-centric process Using a reputation strategy, I actually wrote a book on it and I help people either work through it.

If they need a little bit of accountability, if they’re overwhelmed, nobody can do this all on their own, but the book is available that you can walk through until you get stuck. Some people call me I’m like not sure about this part, so I created for stats called the ford fees, its discover where you are define where you want to go, you develop it, you get there and then you defend it. Unfortunately, in this world, with the internet, anybody can say anything anywhere.

You have to have an insurance defendable plan, emergency action plan in place. Well because that’s basically the steps I like steps, i’m a metrics person, so don’t tell me to go, write a resume. Give me the outline right the resume then I can do that so this is this is an outline for business owners and for personal and professional to follow their own, because people are do it. Yourselfers excuse me, so I wrote the book based on what I did to turn our business around.

I would never tell you to do anything. I haven’t already tried okay. Well, before I get into my favorite question, then I’ve got one other final question for you. But could you tell us how to get a hold of you, your website domain names and all that kind of stuff sure, because people have really taken the word reputation and have created a definition for that I don’t agree with. I created my own word.

It’s called rep, EP tates, or so its repertoire descamps or pamela gothic amor mighty websites. So I do a lot of speaking a lot of training and a lot of consulting as well. So this it takes a lot to transition a business, but with somebody beside you, it’s not that bad to do it’s not that bad, so you can either get me through my website or yeah. That’s pretty much! The easiest way to get me. My put those links on these articles when I propagate them all in stuff too, so we just find it with a quick.

So, okay, here’s my first club just a general question: what does the word abundance mean to you? Just you know couple sentences, since I turned 50 abundance to me is time it’s just time and making time for myself and rejuvenating myself and working on me, and I know what s it sounds selfish, but it is i’m not going to do good for anybody. If i’m not taking her, I totally nice right. I finally realized that looks like it.

That’s kind of like the oxygen mask in the airplane. You put it on yourself before you putting other people, because the reality is is if you’re somebody’s calling in here there we go he’s right. Who is it now for you? It’s a some other sky /. You must be interesting getting to hold of me. That is good, so I got some time devices here because I meant at the time thing, because it is the one thing that we all have in common it’s time, even though it’s made up on our heads of what time actually is, but you know the routes Earth spins and things happen, and it’s the same for everybody, so here’s my favorite question then we’ll assign this bad boy off and propagate it up to the universe.

Question is the big. Why why are you doing this? Why aren’t you a school teacher? Why aren’t you like a Olympic skier or have your own yoga studio? Why did you pick this for a career? I’m not sure I picked it. I think it picked me um. I think I’m very passionate about people finding and fixing things when I was first interviewed about 20 years ago. They named me the fixer and in business. It just makes sense.

This just makes sense, I’m terrible at sports, I’m competitive, but not for me, I’m competitive for my clients, which you know may sound a little trite, but this is where I should be, and finally it only took me 50 years to figure out. This is my passion, and this is where I need to be. I need to be right now, got it well, it’s refreshing them on most of the people. When I asked that question, it boils down to they’re doing it for other people kind of thing.

That’s kind of the why working for your clients and that’s a that’s encouraging to that? Maybe humanity can come back together again, so I’m working on it too. Okay. Well, that’s part of the goal of this is to get the online chatter back in the real life activity. So I appreciate you taking your time this morning and I will get this out into the internet and i’ll send it to send some links to you and if you could, synergize and propagate them up also will rising tide lifts all boats so to speak.

So, Thank You, Pam for taking the time she’s someone happiness. This is a magic bread signing off. You will

Starting a business is not easy! Think about who will be working on your digital image. Hiring a good webmaster will help!

How To Grow On Instagram | Tips To Grow Instagram Followers 2018

Today’s we don’t want to talk to you about how to use your Instagram to get more listeners on the music and the stuff that you’d be creating. So if you’re new to my blog Casey, I’m a producer beat maker and engineer for over 10 years, and I upload articles on how to make peace, how to mix your music and how to use Logic Pro, sometimes for our new clio’s of self help or how To grow your brand, today’s article is going to share some tips that I’ve been using them for Instagram to grow.

My following, so the first of all consistency. You’ve got to be consistent that for me up before I was posting that every three to four days, sometimes five days and I didn’t really see much difference, much growth in my my following or engagement, then I switched up and start to post every two to three Days and though it’s a big difference in engagement and followers, and also people asking about inquiring about bees and mixing and stuff that food, which is the main reason why I’m on Instagram yeah to build my brand.

So what you need to do start posting more consistently. You don’t have to post every two to three days comes down to self awareness. If you feel like you, want to post every two to three days and do that, if you want to post every day, duder some some of the pages that I follow, they post that four or five times a day – and I see i’ve, seen a difference in Their engagement and their followers, which is probably something that they they’re aiming for, so you’ve got to have a goal.

Obviously, if it’s just instant gratification that you’re looking for like 50 lakhs or hundred lakhs for your post just for today, then you do that. But if you’ve got bigger, pitch and you’re trying to build your brand and reach people organically, then there’s ways of dinner, and this is what I’m showing you. So the next thing you need to be, then, is posting good content, consistent content right people don’t want you.

Don’t want new people to go into your wall and see your wall. Is it’s just it’s a bit bit! Mismatched lucky! You don’t know. What’s going on one-minute year, yeah in food, next to your your dogs on there or your cat will prepare whatever pet you’ve got and then you’re in a studio. I just think you need to be a bit more consistent with it, but at the same time, if that’s what works for you, then just crack on and do that.

For me, what I’ve been doing is posting like the finished product on my actual wall and then using IG stories to show behind the scenes so like I’d, be in the studio, making beats or just I’ll post me, editing, flowers that I’ve been given to mix so Cuz, I know if I put that onto my wall, it’s going to be a bit boring for some people and it’s not going to really get the engagement that I’m looking for.

So I’d rather just put that in my stories like me, going to the gym or me with the family going out or so laughs. So that’s what you can use your stories for you don’t have to have everything on your wall, so that’s consistency being consistent and posting good content. Another thing that I’ve been doing is commenting and a lot more people’s work. So rappers, I see them doing their thing or beat maker and their listen to what they did, leave a genuine comment, it alike, and that helps to build a rapport with that person.

You know I’m saying so: they they seen that you’ve commented on their stuff and they probably comment and your stuff or they might lack some of your stuff. They fully you further back you fully. They may fall about whatever and that way you’re building like an organic following. So I’m saying and next time you post they’re more than likely to see that post and be like oh yeah, that’s so, and so let me just hit them up and hit put a lock on it on there and their post and instagram loves to see that You, when you post enough to see that in the first hour that there’s been a lot of engagement, because I’ve been hearing they’re only showing like 10 percent of the people that who follow your post.

So if you’re, getting like a high engagement, they’re, probably just going to show a few more people and that way you get more reach might even end up on the explore page. It’s doable. If that’s what you’ve won, that will help to grow your following. That will help you to boost your brand awareness. Another thing that I’ve been doing is using hashtags. I still use hashtags. Some people don’t want to use hashtags.

Some people think it’s corny. I still use hashtags because that in a day someone looking for beats – or I put hashtag beat maker or send beats, and someone puts that in this I’ll come up or you come up. So there’s nothing wrong with hashtags. It’s still use them take advantage. Man make it better. Well, I don’t know if there’s a cap on how many you should use, that’s something that you’re going to have to experiment with I’m normally used between 5 and 15, sometimes 20, and it seems to be working for me.

So what you need to do is experiment see what hashtags work for you. What’s not working for you, I like to put them in my comments still and some people like to use dot, dot, dot and then hashtags in the caption, because they feel like it’s going to get more reach. I don’t know if that’s true but, like I said experiment, let’s see what works here and also, if you’re posting, you need to kind of work out what what’s the best times to post.

So for me, I like to post in the mornings, seem to be getting more engagement. That way so Instagram can bump me up too to let other people see it. That way, like I keep saying it, can build brand awareness and have more people on and eyes on my business because I didn’t date at the end of the day, I’m just trying and what I’m trying to do is reach music. Art is to work with and help beat makers with, use your logic and making beats and mixing stuff.

So we just find that, what’s the best time for you to post experiment with it posting a morning post in the evening, maybe lunch time or night time when everyone’s back home from work or whatever, then you can hit it with a post. Just to recap, be consistent, post post, often post frequently post good content on your wall user AG stories to show you behind the scenes of what you’ve been working on and as well use drop hashtags into your IG stories that works locations and all that to build A good rapport with people by comment in and lacan on, their work and hashtag resolve find out what hashtags are working for you that should help you to grow.

Your Instagram and game get more listeners and ears on your music or whatever is your craving, because I don’t say that’s what you’re trying to do. You know you don’t want a whole heap of music on your hard drive just sitting there or you just got your family and friends. Listen to it because you’re creative you’re, talented, you need it, but you need people.
