How much I made exactly I’m going to be telling you how I made that money and yeah. So, let’s get into the article before we start. Please give this article a thumbs up.

Okay, let’s dive straight into the numbers, have you given this article a thumbs up yet and if you’re not subscribed, I hope you’ve subscribed. Let’s get into it, I’m going to be looking down, because I have my phone with me, I’m looking at my numbers as I’m talking to you. So in the month of July 2017, I am earned a total of one thousand five hundred and sixty nine dollars.
This is the most money I have made from a combination of my blog on YouTube since I started working on this by the way the business I’m referring to is ko bokja fitness.Com, it’s just my yeah, it’s my online business. I recently started and I’m seeing a lot of really good growth on that. So let me tell you how I made this money. I made this money primarily in three ways. Number one was advertising.
I have ads running on my site and I also have ads running on my youtube blog. I also made money by selling products. I have three product categories that I offer. I have leggings I have and I have two digital products. I should probably make a different article about my products and how I decided to create them and how I made them and why I made them, because you guys might be surprised to find out about the whole product creation process and the thought process behind it.

So three sources of revenue – normally, I know I’m not able to show you the chart for my income and how everything breaks down, but this month I can actually show that to you, because I’m getting so much more organized with my accounting and making sure that I’m Tracking everything really well, so I can show you more information because of that.
So let me show you how the money breaks down into these three categories. You can see from this chart over here that the number one income category for me is advertising on my website. Over 70 % of my income comes from advertising on my website. The second highest source of revenue, for me, is advertising. On my YouTube blog and the least, the least profitable blog for me is actually my products, which would be surprising for anyone.
That’s really into online marketing and digital marketing, because all the Guru’s will tell you make product make product and I’m learning a lot about this as I go along so like I said, if you want a article about that, leave me a comment. Let me know what questions you have and I will share whatever I can that I think will help you out, but that is how the percentage is break down. So those are my that’s my income, so my traffic for the month of July was actually down from June in June.
You guys might remember that I crossed in June I crossed. Let’s see, let me show you my traffic for June June. I crossed three hundred and fifty thousand page views in that one month, whereas in July the page views dropped down to one hundred and ninety six thousand page views. So it’s still a lot one hundred. Ninety six thousand is a lot of page views for one month, but it is down from last month.
So I was a little bit disappointed about that, but even though my page views were down, I still made almost a thousand dollars just from advertising on my website. I think I made nine hundred and eighty dollars specifically from advertising on my website. Let me also show you my youtube number, since that’s where that’s my second largest income source, as of today, I’m recording this article on August 4th, so I’m a four days into the month of August, but not too far, not too far away from July.
Let me show you my subscriber count. I have alright, so let’s go in here. You can see that, as of today, I have twenty four thousand subscribers on my second YouTube blog, my cocoa fitness, you blog. So that is that’s a crazy amount of growth, because I think last month I had maybe 10,000 subscribers. So within a month I basically doubled my subscriber count, and I am excited about that anyway. So those aren’t my numbers, that’s my traffic.
That’s my YouTube! I’m not going to bother with Instagram right now, because I’m not really doing too much with Instagram. It’s not really a priority for me right now, but that is those are my numbers, so the one, the only other thing this article is getting kind of long. The only other thing I wanted to mention in this article is a very huge lesson that I learned in July. So as used as I said, my traffic in July really dropped from June and I wasn’t anticipating that drop.
So I had a different goal for what I thought my traffic would reach and when I didn’t reach that traffic number I was crestfallen, I was crestfallen you guys. I couldn’t believe that I worked so hard and the traffic didn’t reach the goal that I wanted it to reach. So when I was setting my goals for August, I was really apprehensive about how to set the right goals. I didn’t want to set another unrealistic goal.
Work really hard not reach my goal and then feel discouraged. I just didn’t want to have that experience again and what I learned is that there are two types of goals you can set in your business. You can set big hairy audacious goals for people that have read good to great by Jim Collins. You know what a big hairy audacious goal is. There also called stretch goals in the book, one thing, and then they are there’s another type of goal called an incremental goal, and what I did last month was, I said, big hairy, audacious goals, because that’s what I thought I was supposed to do and what I’ve Learned is that for me and my business because of my size because of my intentions because of my preferences, big hairy, audacious goals are not for me right now.
It doesn’t mean I don’t have ambitious goals. It just means that I’m not going for those crazy goals. I’m not going for like at 24,000 how many 21,000 20-something thousand subscribers right now, I’m not aiming for 50k this month. That would be a very stretch goal for me. I’m not aiming for that. I’m aiming for something a little bit more manageable, a little bit more realistic, a little bit more incremental and for me and the stage of business that I am in right now.
That is the right decision. Even though almost everything you read will tell you go for gold, no, I’m not going for gold, I’m going for the incremental wins. The small wins! That’s what I’m going for this month. So I just wanted to share that if you are building an online business, its digital print business and you feel like you’re failing because you’re not like you’re, not at 1 million or you’re, not at 100k.
Maybe you need to really think about your business and where you are and what you prefer and how you want to grow and really listen to your intuition. If you feel like you’re somebody, that’s strong on intuition. So that’s all I wanted to say in this article. I have so many more amazing articles. So you come online and you want to become that total boss, total boss lifestyle being able to do fun things that you want in life and not be tied down to some job or somebody else telling you what to do. You get to create your own dreams, and you get to do it right here online on the internet, and you can do it with all kinds of strategies, and what I’m going to do right here is just give you four basic things and if you can master These you’re going to earn passive income online before we do that, though, hit that subscribe button and then hit that Bell.
That way, you get notified of all of the articles that I come out with to you on a daily basis, so coming online there’s just basic things you got to have you got to have and you got to get up and running and do these okay, there’s Going to be four things that I really liked you anytime, that I’m struggling or maybe I’m looking at generating more income. These are four things that I go. I fall back onto.
Okay, first one is going to be. This is going to be the most important thing. It’s going to be your mindsets come be your belief that you can do this right. It’s so important that you, you know you just have to have the belief that, yes, I can do this. Other people are having a great success. You look at their success if they can do it. So can you and you have to have that mindset and that belief, and once you get that out of the way, then you can have success? No, it’s not going to be like you’re just going to flip a switch and then one day you can be like.
Yes, I believe it takes time because your mind has been conditioned over and over and over again that you know you’re a failure. You know we have this schooling system, that that gives us and DS if you’re a failure, but in reality in life you know you’re going to take some shots and you’re going to take some failures. But you don’t let these failures getting the way of your mindset. In your belief, the best way to get your belief going is every day try to find some kind of the motivational thing that you can listen to or read, go to a YouTube article and just read some motivational.
Listen to it, Jim Rome, Tony Robbins. You know anything like this is going to get your mind, set it going to get your belief going that you can have success okay, so the first thing is always always always get that belief. Right, get your mind set on the right direction now. The second thing is this: is you got to have a great offer? Okay, a great offer. It’s going to be something that you can go find a very hungry crowd, a crowd that needs a solution to a problem and that offer that you have is going to be what you’re going to offer that hungry crowd.
A great offer will make a break anything. Okay, but now there’s a tons of offers out there there’s tons of opportunities out there, but the important thing is you find one? That’s going that you can believe in okay, then you can believe and have success with and take that offer and go put that in front of the right people now. What’s the right offer them? What’s the right, you know in front of the right people.
Well, it depends, I mean, there’s lots of things out there, that you could go find. What I recommend is you find something that has a stair-step effect to it: okay, an offer that has a low ticket front end and then has an ability to make big Commission’s on the back end. Okay, maybe something that’s set up for you, or maybe you set it up for yourself if you’re just trying to you know if you’re just trying to promote these little 50 dollar commissions and you’re, just you know, you’re going to make 80 percent of the Commission’s you’re Going to have a hard time with it, what I wanted to do is find one.
It has a funnel that if you get somebody into the funnel, you can make a little bit on the front end and then a lot on the back end. But the offer has to be super important. It has to be super, you know being able to help people succeed. So if you have that kind of hungry crowd that offer you put in front of them is going to be the great thing now, the really the third one is going to be. I was talking about having a great funnel.
You want to be able to get somebody into your funnel. You have to take cold traffic people, they don’t know you they don’t know. Maybe they don’t know their problem or maybe they just don’t even care at the time. Okay, that’s cold traffic. That’s Facebook! You know your Facebook feed, that’s um, you know YouTube traffic a lot of times. It’s called traffic. Now, when you get somebody into your email list, you get somebody maybe to a blog, that’s going to be traffic that you own and that’s going to be traffic that you can promote your other products to.
But the most important thing is it’s getting somebody from cold traffic onto your list where you can follow up with them. You can give more content. You can offer more. You know, content it’s going to help them and when you do that now, you’re considered warm traffic. People know you they like you. They trust you, so you can offer your products to them. So a great funnel it’s going to be getting somebody in the front door and then offering products to them on the backend.
Okay. So that’s going to be the third most important thing and how do you find a funnel? Well, you can create a funnel yourself. You can go to click click funnels. If you want to create a funnel, you could use conversion pros, which is now the good one. You can create a funnel. That way you could use you know height to I ticket offers. The you know digital out. To is one that I like to promote because it’s a funnel that’s already set up.
It’s already built out, um, there’s a lot of other good ones out there I mean Mobe is a good one. There’s a lot of other top tier programs out there that have funnels set up for you and if you can find a funnel, it has a lot of good high-end ticket products that help people succeed. Then that’s the one that you should be getting into, but definitely want to get a lead capture page set up on the front end.
Have somebody get on to your email list? You can get an a weber account to connect that and that’ll do a lot of the automation, a lot of do a lot of your emails that are automated, but definitely put somebody through a funnel now. The fourth thing, and probably the most important thing and one of the things that everybody is always always asking about – and this is getting traffic – okay, so traffic website traffic, getting eyeballs to your lead capture, page getting eyeballs to your website getting eyeballs to your offer.
So the traffic is one of the things that everybody seems to struggle with, and I can tell you right now that traffic is not the big problem. The big problem really is converting that traffic into warm traffic, okay or converting in warm traffic into sales that you can make money with so traffic. It’s all over the place. You have YouTube. You can get tons of traffic from YouTube YouTube ads. You can buy all kinds of YouTube ads if you wanted to you got Facebook, I mean there’s Facebook groups, there’s Facebook fan pages.
There’s you know you do your Facebook or your personal profile. You got Facebook Ads, so there’s tons of I mean Facebook Ads is a crazy there’s, just absolutely hundreds and millions of ways to to advertise your products to a certain group. Then you have Google search engine. You create a blog, create content. Google search engine will link to your blog or content, so there’s tons of traffic that way GUP.
You know, there’s Google AdWords that you can actually place. You know your Google link, your link inside of Google AdWords, which is on the Google search engine itself. Bing has their own. You know ad Center. You can buy traffic from Bing there’s solo ads. If you want to buy solo ads, where people have email lists that you don’t actually email your product, your link for you so trail when there’s banner ads and make a banner ads other place, you can actually place banners on big, high-profile websites, like CNN or Fox News things like that, if you wanted to buy, sell ads, calm, is a place to do that.
Okay, you can buy, buy banner ads, so getting traffic is not really the issue. Okay, it’s the conversions for it, but the thing that I like to leave the traffic on the end of this, because if you get all three of these before traffic right, then the traffic is really going to be easy for you to to get so. Let’s, let’s look at them really again number one is going to be mindset, your belief that you can do this.
Okay, all you have to do is just work on yourself. Every day, work on increasing your belief system, your ability to want in to succeed. Okay, the second thing is going to be making sure that you have a great offer. Okay, a very good offer is going to be one that is going to help people succeed. Okay, it’s going to help people get to a better situation or help people take a big problem and you solve it with that offer third thing is going to be the funnel making sure you get somebody into a funnel.
You turn somebody a cold prospect right, a cold traffic into warm traffic, and you do that by put them into an opt-in form, getting them on to your email list. That way, you can follow up with them and the last thing is going to be traffic, just find a good traffic source that it’s going to be conducive to your to your offer. You know if, if, if you’re, promoting a fitness offer go, find work, people hang out that are looking for fitness.
Okay, there’s all kinds of Fitness fan pages that you could promote on or Fitness groups, and you can promote on internet marketing. Things go, find internet marketing groups and places that you can’t offer your services okay. So that’s the four things to get up and get running. That’s going to help. Sales is a lifeline and is integral to your survival and in order to improve sales, where do we usually go? We often go to sales experts for advice. You can do affiliate marketing and it’s one of the easiest ways to turn it into a passive income, because basically you’re setting up systems you’re, setting up a system to build a customer base.
You’re setting up a system where you communicate with them through automated sequenced emails and you’re, building up a system of products that you know that people want that solve problems for them and it’s all set up on the computer. It takes time there is a training below 30-day training that helps you to start understanding that and start putting those systems in place. Everybody starts from somewhere.
If you don’t know anything, that’s okay, that training will help you. Now, if you decide you want that training. I have a free pre training that kind of helps warm you up before. I didn’t know anything about affiliate marketing. So what are we going to talk about? Affiliate marketing, like I said, is the best way to earn a passive income and with what is affiliate marketing affiliate marketing is when you take somebody else’s product and you sell it for them, and you might say I hate sales. I don’t want to sell things. I’ve already done the vacuum, cleaner thing and the you know door-to-door sales and all that remember anybody that you’re my age.
You probably remember all those things. It’s not like that. You can learn how to set up things that stay in place: they’re evergreen and once you find those products that people want they’re out there forever. I use YouTube. Actually, here we are, this, article will be there forever and if people are looking for ways to earn income as long as the ways that I have listed are still out there, I will leave these articles up and continue to help people figure out what they want To do – and I don’t have to keep going back and repeating myself if that makes sense, and I’ve even put them into a playlist.
So if you click the link below for the playlist, every article has three different ways: you can earn money. This one in particular, though, has one because affiliate marketing is really what’s near and dear to my heart, because I definitely want to go for passive income. So that’s why I chose to market affiliate marketing and I don’t have to create products. I’ve done that where I’ve done the shows where I’ve made crafts items and I went out and sold them.
So I love to sell things. I’ve done eBay, Craigslist, all those things, but I had to produce the product. I had to come up with something to sell. So that’s why I love affiliate marketing online because I can sell other people’s products now, let’s start over here we’re going to get to that article. In a moment, I talked about YouTube and I want to show you how you promote the products using a YouTube article and I’ll use that one in a moment, but where do I go to find the products where you go Amazon Associates has billions of products you Can sign up as an Amazon associate and start promoting products? Now they do have a six month trial period, where you have to sell at least three items to stay with them as an associate, and it’s just their way of cleaning house what if somebody came along, they signed up and they just checked it out.
They’re, like I don’t want to do this. Well then their accounts, it’s there forever and ever so. Amazon has set up a thing where, if you haven’t sold at least three items in six months, then they just close your account and if you decide hey, I changed my mind. I want to put more effort into it. I want to come back. You get approved again, it’s not a big deal, it’s just a way for them to clean up all those dead accounts kind of like what your bank does.
If you don’t use your savings account, they start charging your money that Amazon doesn’t charge. You, though, all right, so you can go at now. I will say some of the products only earned 7 to 11 percent, but that’s okay. It’s a great way to get started a great way to find products and start learning how to do it and Amazon. Everybody goes to Amazon right, so you’ve got an audience already now. The neat thing I like about Amazon once you get, what happens? Is you’ll go in you’ll sign up as an affiliate and they’ll give you special links and I might say: well I want to sell camera equipment and things that are related to that.
Maybe I have an interest in photography and I love all the equipment things and I want to make a website about that about how to be a photographer. Well then, I can find products that match my website about different equipment and I can have an affiliate link and people will click it and when they buy it, I get a commission now, do you have to have a website? No, you can have what we call a sales funnel instead and if you click below into that 30-day training, you’ll learn about that sales funnel and how to build it.
But people have websites as well. So that’s how you make money now! This is the thing: that’s cool about Amazon. If somebody comes along and clicks my link when they go yeah, I like that camera, but that’s not the one. I want I’m going to start exploring and looking at other cameras and you’re like well darn it they didn’t use my link. Well, they did. Amazon will still give you credit if that person purchases, something within.
I think it’s the next 24 hours it could be 48 hours, but if that person, purchases other things and start shopping, you get a commission on all of it because you’re the one that brought them to the site. So that’s pretty cool now. Another place that you can go is Clickbank. Clickbank has everything? Let’s get rid of that page? Okay, when you go in, you can look under featured products or you can look under over here on the left different categories.
So let’s go under health and fitness, that’s always an easy one. You can go under health and fitness and look for products that you might want to sell, maybe you’re really into health and fitness. You might be into cooking recipes things like that, and you want to help people to become the best version of themselves that they can. So you just start again a website or sales funnel, and you start promoting content that is related to that and then start offering different products.
Now, I’m talking about a lot of things like email, marketing, content things that you’re like whoa whoa whoa. All of that is in that 30-day training, so it explains it there. Is it an educational period to this? You can’t just jump in if you don’t know anything and start making lots of money. You have to learn. So I’m not going to lie to you it like. Oh, my gosh you’re, going to make money by tomorrow.
You’re not you have to learn how to do it, but let’s go into health and fitness down here and there’s all kinds: there’s diet and weight loss exercise. Fitness mental health, beauty, so there’s all these different areas, you can go into, let’s go into diet and weight loss, and so here there will be all kinds of different products that you can sign up for as an affiliate okay. Under there, oh, they went in again.
Okay, so, anyway, let me look here: let’s go up here to their menu. There we go, we want to be in their affiliate market place, that’s where we want to be the bright things weren’t popping up for me: okay, here’s the categories! This is what I was looking for this page sorry about that all right: let’s go back down to health and fitness and it will bring up some different products that you can promote.
If you choose now there also, when you look at the product, one of the things you want to look at is this gravity score, see that GRA V right here, the higher that that grab a score is the more that that products been selling. It’s been very popular, see this one flat belly fix flat belly fix, it has a 209 I remember coming in here, and it only had like a hundred and it keeps going up. But this is interesting.
The Cinderella solution has bypassed it’s. Both of them are reasonable prices – thirty, nine dollars, thirty three dollars and you’ll make a commission off of that. So in what this person will do, when you go in there, they will provide you with all the information that you need to sell the product. They’ll give you copyright they’ll, give you pictures they’ll, give you articles everybody’s, different and they’ll.
Say here: go sell my product because it’s a win-win situation. The person getting the product product wins because you help solve a problem. You get a commission for bringing it to their attention, so you’re, happy and the the seller is happy because you’re selling the product for them. So it’s it’s a really good thing for all three of you, it’s win-win-win! So that’s another place that you can go.
You can also go to JV zoo, JV zoo, I’m not going to go inside, but JV zoo sells digital products, so everybody’s always trying to learn something so go in there and you can find different. Somebody might have a whole program on having the right mindset for health and fitness, and you can promote that as well. Now the key is, if you decide to get into affiliate marketing, you want to stay within a certain niche, which means you keep hearing me say: health and fitness, health and fitness.
Everything has to be related. You don’t want to just go willy-nilly and go. Oh. Here’s a bunch of products from Amazon, because people want to start to see you as an expert and so they’re going to say wow. She really knows her stuff. She really knows about health and fitness, I’m going to trust her when she starts promoting and suggesting this other product and that’s what starts to happen. They get to know you like you and trust you and that’s when they buy from you.
Here’s another cool affiliate program. I actually offered it on in one of the other articles, but you can become a travel agent affiliate, so you can go into Expedia as an example and work for them as the affiliate promote their vacation. They might say: hey we’re, really trying to promote this occasion to roam and here’s all the stuff. Can you go out put this on your blog put this on your website, wherever whatever platform you’re using or your sales funnel and you’ll, learn how to do that in that 30-day training you promote it and bring people in, and when you sell it, you get a Commission, so I think I just recently have seen that, but travel agents affiliate program that would be so much fun, especially if you’d like to travel now some people, let me get rid of that there – some people like to create their own courses, it’s called digital course.
Digital marketing and they will go out and create their own courses and sell them. Okay, where does affiliate marketing come in you as an affiliate? Marketer can go in and sell those courses for them, so that may be what you’re interested in is helping people become an affiliate, marketer and selling courses for other affiliate, other marketers other people who build courses. So this one is Kevin David.
He last year, I think, brought in ten million dollars, he’s really big. He is an affiliate marketer, but he also makes his own courses, so he sells his own courses and then he has affiliates come in and sell them for him and a lot of times. I think his are 25 percent, most people who make courses offer 50 percent, so I don’t know why his are so low. I just pulled him up because he’s pretty popular, but most people will offer you 50 %.
Another place that you can start if you would like to become an affiliate. Clickfunnels has an affiliate program, they’re huge, it’s a software platform where people make sales funnels and again that’s where you can learn in that 30 days, how to do it, but they also have an affiliate program. So all the different programs and training that they offer, which are down here at the bottom – let’s see, what do we promote? They promote click funnels itself.
So when people sign up for click funnels, you as an affiliate would make 40 % off that sale. Today, I want to talk to you guys about investing and making passive income with a small amount of money, so basically how to invest your first thousand dollars and the reason I chose a thousand dollars to start with is because it’s small enough for a average person To save up – and it’s large enough to actually start something with, you could start with less you start with 500 hours.

So let’s say you save up this money. Let’s say you say about this one. You save up this thousand dollars and you really want to start investing in making quote unquote passive income, because not all income is not all passive income is actually passive income but because you still out you have to put work upfront. So you start with this thousand dollars. You finally saved up enough and you want to start so.
The first way to actually save up. I’m sorry the first way to actually invest this thousand dollars actually is to, and I know I’m going to get a lot of flack from you guys like I hear this all the time, but trust me this is one. This is probably that’s why I made it number one: it’s the most important thing you can do and you’ll get the highest return from it, and this is investing in yourself guys, and this could be books, buying books, buying courses eating better working out.
Just anything, that’ll really get your noodle work and more efficient and the reason I say this is the most important thing you could do, because you’ll get the highest return from it, because you’re working for yourself trust me guys, there’s a bunch of books out there. I got a book shelf over here in the corner with a bunch of books, and I read not as much as I used to actually in high school I hated reading.
I got out of high school. I started enjoying reading because I found like self-help books and, like actual factual books like I have philosophy books whatever enough with the books in my whatever, but like the intelligent investor right, Rich, Dad, Poor, Dad, the richest man in Babylon thinking Grow Rich. How to win friends and influence people? These books teach you things that you’re not going to get from a formal education, and this is some of the the best way to really amplify your rate of return on yourself and even buying courses like courses to learn how to trade options.
Courses to learn about credit, you know how to fix your credit courses to learn about how to eat properly, just anything that will help you grow as a person and and just make that next leap in life. It could even be taking a vacation, because if you’re working constantly constantly constantly and you’re, you can only do so much you’ll get physically tired and mentally tired and sometimes even spiritually, tired and you just need to take a little break and then come back to it.
Now the second way to invest your first thousand dollars is opening up a high-yield savings account. Now, if you don’t know what a high-yield savings account is it’s basically, a special savings account that the interest rate is higher than the average interest rate. So let’s say if your normal Bank, whether it be let’s say, chase or Hancock, Whitney or Iberia Bank or whatever they give you a point, zero one interest rate on all the money you have in your savings account.
Now, let’s say you have a thousand dollars in savings account in one year for the point 0.01 interest rate, you will literally be getting one cent, so whatever it chases interest rate is whether it be point one zero point: zero, one or anywhere in between you beginning Anywhere from that thousand dollars, one cent to one dollar – and that is atrocious. That is terrible, especially because we know that the average inflate rate of inflation is a two to three percent.
So if you’re not gaining two or three percent you’re actually losing money, and you might be saying well, how am I losing money if I’m not actually losing the money is because interest rate is that’s because inflation is beating your interest rate now next best step is, If you can’t beat the inflation rate, you want to get as close to it as possible. So there’s several banks out there, like wealthfront allied bank hell, even Robin Hood, is about to open up their own that cash management app with a 1.
8 percent interest rate. Me myself, I personally have a credit, korma, high-yield savings account and they offer a 1.8 percent. It’s an interest rate. So basically, this means 1.8 percent of $ 1,000 is $ 18. So when you’re generally making, you know, point 0, 1 to 0.1 zero percent interest on in in a year you’re. Now I don’t know quadrupling 10 times that right so now, you’re making one penny to one dollar to almost $ 20 a year of this thousand dollars and again.
This is when compound interest comes into play because now next year, you’re not only gaining interest on a thousand dollars, you’re gaining interest on a thousand eighteen, so you’re gaining eighteen dollars, plus a gaining interest on the first year interests, and this is with only $ 1,000. If you had $ 1000 every year, every six months or whatever $ 100 a month this these accounts, you definitely see your money grow a lot more, a lot more exponentially than it would in a regular savings account – and this is just a great way to keep Your money working for you, especially being that, if you don’t want to risk your money in the stock market, anything like that this is the safest one of the safest ways possible aside from bonds and things like that.
But do be aware that at any time the Fed can change the interest rate. So you are subject to fluctuations in your interest rates, so it might go from one point: eight percent to one percent or one point five percent, or I may even go up to two percent two point: five things like that, and there are bank accounts out there With higher interest rates than two percent, you just have to look for them.
I think one of them actually called redneck banking bank account or something like that. But so that’s just one of the safer ways. This is just one of the safer ways to actually invest your money without worrying about losing it in the stock market. If you’re, you know not ready to get in the stock market so guys. Next, we have one of my favorites, which is investing in dividends, and this is a great way to form passive income.
And if you don’t know what a dividend is, a dividend is basically a payment. You get just for owning a share in a company. So if you own one share of a company, if you own one share of a company, they’ll, give you a small amount of money every either month or every quarter that you own that share it’s an incentive in order for you to continue to own that share That stock in the company, then there are thousands upon thousands of great dividend stocks.
Some stocks aren’t great dividend stocks to have, they still have a dividend yield. Some of them are are great dividend stocks and they don’t have a high dividend yield, but it really doesn’t matter about the dividend yield itself, but rather more dividend growth. So if you’re, if you have a high dividend rate high, you know but you’re not growing, then I’d much rather have a lower dividend rate, but I know it’s going to grow over the next five to ten years and this is your annual dividend yield going up.
So let’s say s, phd’s dividend yield is four point, one eight seven percent. Now, let’s say you take your entire thousand dollars and invest it into s PhD. So four point one. Eighty seven percent of a thousand dollars is forty one dollars and 87 cents a year, meaning since this is a monthly dividend, paying stock you’ll be getting three dollars and fifty cents a month from this stock. Now, after a whole year of owning s, PhD you’ll be able to buy another share, which would then be adding more money at the end of every month.
So, instead of three thousand fifty cents a month, you’ve been making, I don’t know three, seventy or whatever it is per share per month, and once you continue to do that, and you continue to add money into these accounts. You’ll definitely see your growth over time and and not only will you be getting money from dividends, but let’s say your stock appreciates ten percent in one year, so you’re not only getting dividends from the stuff.
You also get in capital gains from the price of the stock increasing over time, and with these two combined, you can definitely make a lot of money over time Gus. So the last two find a way to invest. One thousand dollars in 2020 would be rates a real estate. Investment. Trust me. If you don’t know what a real estate investment trust is. It is a certain type of stock on the stock market and it all deals with real estate.
So basically, these are real estate. Holding companies they own real estate, all across the world or all across the country, so these real estate investment trusts they own money all over the globe and all over the country. So basically, these paid dividends every month, just like a regular dividend stock would, but instead these pay almost 90 % of the money they make to its shareholders, and it has to because there was a law passed in.
I don’t know the 80s or 70 saying that this is how they have to be paid out, so they have a much higher rate of dividend yield. But the good thing about this is basically you’re investing in real estate without owning a tangible asset without owning any type of property. So there’s no maintenance, no landlording, no phone calls no tenants. None of that. You have to do it. You literally just click a button.
Now you own real estate, now you’re a real estate investor, but through a real estate, investment trust and the good thing about these is that they, you get a lot of them paid every month, but some of them also pay every quarter. The good thing about this is: you can pick what type of real estate you want to be in whether it be large warehouses, whether it be convenience stores, whether it be apartment, buildings, hospitals, senior, living just things.
You know there’s a bunch of different areas to get into in a lot of these focus on certain ones on certain areas of real estate, but some of these, especially Oh Realty income, focus on well, I think it’s 47 or 49 different areas of real estate, and This is a great way to fight diversify your portfolio. I actually own quite a few REITs in my portfolio. You don’t even have to stop at $ 1,000. You can start with as little as $ 100.
I think Oh right now is a little above 80 bucks per share, but definitely do your own due diligence when it comes to these stocks, especially you know anything. I told you guys about in this article on whether it be reached dividend. Investing these high yield savings accounts and investing in yourself definitely invest in yourself but anyway. So the only downside with these REITs is that you can’t leverage your money out of a property so meaning that if you own a hundred thousand dollar house – and you have $ 50,000 of equity in it, usually you can pull out a certain amount of equity.
You own in that house to go, buy another house, you know you can do the beat the Bur strategy by repair rent reinvest. I don’t remember how it goes, but you know you do house hacking and things like that. You can’t do that with these real estate. No investment, no money required right, basically guys. First and foremost, the first step is: what is the actual business model? The business model is called affiliate marketing. So what does infinite marketing affiliate marketing is referring other people’s products. So if somebody creates a software, you can go to right in that product. If somebody creates a course of something along those lines, you could recommend that product, even if it’s a physical product, somebody else did all the dirty work.
They created the product they put in the blood, sweat and tears, you’re, simply just finding people who are trying to solve that specific problem that that product solves connecting the two together. Whenever a cell is made, you get paid a commission now. How are we making passive income because there’s a lot of affiliate products out there, where it’s really not passive income? You go ahead and make a sale boom.
You make $ 1,000 Commission. I have some for their programs that I currently promote. I make $ 1,000 Commission’s, but it’s not ongoing residual passive income and guys I don’t even like to use passive income. This is literally like one of the only methods that I would even say something along the lines. But basically, how are you going to go to do that is by specifically promoting continuity programs.
Now what are the continuity programs? Two example of continuity: programs is a membership website so, for example, a website that you’re paying a month in and month out, because you’re paying for some sort of membership or whatever you get with that membership you’re. Giving some sort of value are you paying month by month, for example, an example of a constitutive program would be your Netflix membership.
It’s an it’s a membership that you have to pay every single month to get the benefits of being a Netflix member or Hulu membership. Those are digital products that you’re paying a monthly membership right, so you can actually find affiliate products that have consummatory programs. These membership things that people are paying a membership tax if you’re part of them number two is a software right.
So software companies, basically software companies, are companies where people pay month and and month out, for example, Microsoft is the biggest software company, one of the biggest software companies in the planet, Bill Gates right richest man in the world or was rather before Amazon and Microsoft. You have to pay every single month to get access to the benefits of being to their software right.
So what we’re going to do is we’re going to go and actually find and ability a product that allows us to promote this product, that people are going to pay me month in and month, meaning I only need to get one sell one transaction and that one Cell is going to pay any month in and a month out, then the war cells you get, the more people are going to be paying for that membership. With that software you’re then going to go ahead and actually start getting residual incomes, because people are going to continue to pay as long as that software, where that concentrated program is delivering results, we’re helping them solve that problem, they’re going to continue to make that payment.

I’Ve started literally started on Instagram like when, I think of a name. I immediately go and see if it’s available on Instagram, I don’t only person who does says who comment below if, when you start a business, you always go to Instagram. First, so I guess that’s like my first tip, if you are starting a business, that’s in 2019. The first thing you need to do is think of a name, and let me give you a tip on top of that tip when you think of a name for your business, please get ii of pain.
I know some of you are not getting second opinions and honestly it will save you a ton of money. If you just got second opinions from other people like family and friends, they will tell you before you go, buy a domain name before you go register your business they’ll. Tell you if it’s crappy or not, I think your the name of your business should be. Two names tops. You do not need 3, 4 or 5. I seen a business today and their name was.
I don’t want to say it because I’m going to be mean, but it was a whole sentence and I’m like girl. My second tip once you think of a name, make sure it’s available in all platform, meaning your Instagram name to your domain name to your Facebook. To your youtube, if that name is not available on all platforms or if you can’t I’ll make it look almost similar on all platforms, do not use that name.
My next tip is your logo. If you’re starting a business in 2019, you have to bring it like. Do not have fast your logo. That’S like one of my pet peeves. I hate. I hate an ugly logo. Okay, invest in your logo, logo. I’Ve ever done for my businesses have been done by me. Some of y’all do way too much with the fonts and in the designs and the lines going off through the logo and the pictures, and it’s like low-quality, and I just I can’t I can’t do it so yeah make sure you have a very good logo.
I guess my third tip for starting a business on Instagram in 2018. Wait are wait. Let me back it up when I say start a business on Instagram I mean an online business, so of course your business isn’t going to only be on Instagram. You know you should have a Facebook page, you maybe even a YouTube for it. Obviously a website when I, when I say I’m, started business on Instagram, I mean Instagram being your main platform.
Please do not forget, however, to market your business in other ways other than Instagram. I get so many people that think that Instagram is the beginning in the end of their business and they think, oh, I just have to post on here every day and people will buy my product. No, there are so many ways to market an online business and if you think just posting on Instagram is like going to somehow make you a millionaire, that’s not common and it takes hard work and you have to even know like really what you’re doing when you Start a business on on Instagram, so keep that in mind who’s that my third fourth, fourth tip for starting a business on Instagram.
Are you guys liking this close up blog style like BAM, angles? Okay! So now that you have your name, you have your logo. You’Ve bought your domain name. You’Ve opened up all your social media. You want to start posting really great content. Really they invest in a camera, invest in getting a photographer, even take your own photos or get a photographer and make sure that your photos have good lighting.
Its high quality make sure you go on YouTube and learn how to edit photos. That’S really going to be a game-changer in 2019, because people are, we are Millennials and we’re getting older, and then we have generation. I think it’s Y or Z, whoever is after us that generation are very, very visual, just like Millennials like bring it or go home, so keep creating great content. Article is going to be a very big thing in 20.
Tene, I feel, like 2018 was like the year of graphics and great photos and like building an aesthetic, whereas I feel, like 2019, is really going to be more about entertainment and article, like my fifth tip, for starting a business in 2019 on Instagram. If it’s influencer mark, I don’t think influencer marketing is going anywhere. In fact, I think it’s one of the biggest ways to grow your business if you are not reaching out to influencers, if you are not getting your products on or in the hands of like the top influencers, then what is you doing?
