How We Designed Chrome – Designer vs. Developer #20

What you want? It’s always they want more and more, but they never use those things, and it’s really hard and quite brave thinks they know we’re going to script stuff away. There was internal talk about how chrome is built, and I think back to that time, where Internet Explorer was the dominant browser, Firefox was just was fighting and like the developer, tools were becoming quite prevalent and Safari was was, was just released.

I believe and Google designs to build a browser. So how do you start in that environment? Where there’s so much competition chrome was released in 2008 yeah, but actually we started on it in 2006, oh wow and the team at Google that started on Chrome was actually we were all working on Firefox. When I first joined Google, the beginning of 2005. The idea was to work on making the web better. One way to do that is work on making browsers better.

So we started out as a team working on making Firefox better a year and a half into it. We made the switch to actually building our own browser, and that was a big, big, complicated decision right, because you know we had already. We had been going down a certain path right. So looking back, I think or a number of factors right. First off we thought we could do a really good job, so that had to be true yeah, but also you know there were a lot of things about browsers in those days that I think created, frustrating user experience.

Yeah you got to go about going back 2006. You know applications like Gmail, yeah Maps and YouTube, and so on. These things were becoming popular and other folks were building complicated web applications like this and your typical browser. In that day, if you were to leave Gmail running overnight, you come back the next day and your browser to feel pretty sluggish and bogged down because of just the weight of these applications and so way back then we we had the idea.

That would be really nice to split up the browser into multiple processes. Right operating systems had gone through a revolution from the days of windows, 3.11 to Windows, NT and so on. Yeah we’re pre-emptive multitasking was the thing OS 9 to OS 10. Could we use pre-emptive multitasking? Could we take advantage of actually multiple processes on these systems for web browsing and seemed pretty pretty pretty like, actually seem possible? If you are thinking about a browser from scratch? Yeah I mean in terms of like the UX of again is like going back to the beginning of like browsers or the browser’s of that time.

It reminds me a bit like search before Google’s like search was basically portal sites and the search input field was like almost the most least important thing, but then Google came along. It’s like Nana, that’s the wrong user experience with when chrome came about. It was quite radically different because I know remember this phrase is a Content, not crime, yeah um, so just making that kind of UX decision of like you know, because it was all toolbars and remember when you install anything everything.

It’s all fact you back, then, is very common to find a user with internet explorer and they had installed multiple toolbars. So it’s not just one tool: Bartlett, multiple tours and there’s it’s great absurd. Screenshots of people was, you know those browsers had like five toolbars and it’s not a lot of room for the content right. So one of the things with Chrome’s content now chrome idea was to really remember that the whole point is people want to engage with the web application of the website.

The web content and the browser site try to get out of the way just facilitate helping. You use the web, and so even when we designed the extension system, we resisted the idea of having a first-class way or proper way to do toolbars or sidebars. We really didn’t want extensions over you really. You know using up screen space when that screen space to users really want that for the content. So we designed things, like extension buttons.

That would be the primary access point tried to guide things in a way that would um preserve that notion and even the UI of chrome itself. We tried to keep it very minimalistic. We you know we spent a lot of time in the early days. Thinking, if we’re going to introduce another browser, it’s got to be so awesome right, it’s got it and what does that mean? It’s got to have like the most amazing features.

It’s got it like have a whole new take on browsers. It’s got to be radically different. Ui, surely that would be the reason why we’re doing this right yeah, but in and we tried many different things: putting tabs on the side. You know fancy user gesture kinds of things, Mouse gesture types of things I mean none of that really felt right, and we can do that process. We came to realize what what actually we were doing and what really would set chrome apart is that as a browser, just works better yeah like creating software.

That’s not frustrating is actually hard to do yeah, and I think users appreciate it and so started to think about it, and what does that really mean for us? It was like all products should be pretty simple right should try to try to come up with elegant UI choices. Keep it simple: it should be performant but, like I said, browsers, browsers, have a history of being janky and not well-behaved, and and and you, the user has an expectation when they click on something, especially when it’s the chrome of the UI and when it’s the the Browser UI, they click on it.

They say close this tab. It should close right away yeah, you know par for the course. Those days was. You click close that click to close that tab, and you see you might see a beach ball on Mac, os10, yeah or nothing happens on Windows. You start to see the application not responsive problem right, but in chrome, because we went with this multi-process architecture. We were able to guarantee that if you click close on the tab, it’s gone yeah and those are examples of like responsive UI that you know.

Sometimes, when we talk about performance speed, we mean like how did welded perform on a benchmark, but a lot of times. It comes down to like was experience, smooth, responsive to the user input. Did it actually do what the user wanted it when the user wanted it, that kind of thing, so, simplicity, speed. We also put a big focus on security and stability, so we had these four s’s yeah, and that was the thing that we just repeated to ourselves: if you’re not sure what to work on work on one of those things.

Yes, work on making a simpler design work on making a more performant work on making it. You know more secure so and really with security we mean making it so users feel safe on the web. I feel in control of their privacy. They understand what’s going on, but also that it’s the system is protecting you from malware and so on and again our multi-process architecture not only helped us make something more performant, but also something more secure, a browser more secure and, finally, it helped a lot with stability.

We knew that starting from scratch, with a browser that might actually be the biggest concern, is it going to just crash? Is how do you? How do you exercise enough of the browser in your testing to know that you’ve got it right? We based the browser on not on Firefox, and we based it on WebKit, which is what, at those days that was Safari 2.0 Safari, 3 had just come out and WebKit Safari was known to not necessarily be the most compatible with the web right.

Modern web standards, driven by Firefox, were just becoming a thing. Internet Explorer has had a lot of quirks about it. Internet Explorer 6.0. A lot of quirks, especially thinking about like flowed yeah, that with the flow, though we had a box model. All these things were very impactful to like how web pages were built. If a developer was testing a lot with Internet Explorer, there would be the quirks that they would code to if they were testing.

A lot was Firefox we’d, see that and the Safari it was like. Well, probably, they weren’t testing with Safari, and so it was a big challenge in a big fear. When we launched Chrome, is it going to just crash all the time yeah? How are we going to? How are we going to manage that? So we put a lot of effort and in fact that same issue in forms like our choice of the user agent string. If anybody’s seen the user agent string of Chrome, it’s kind of hilarious because it mentions ever every browser ever since chrome came along.

And that was part of navigating this whole like does it work conundrum we always taught in software development and UX, add more features, because more features means more value, so I mean: was there ever pushback or was there like a fair, maybe we’re taking away too much From the browsing UI, we certainly ugly launched, and it originally chrome, without an extension support, and even the bookmark manager when was was, was revised quite a bit.

I’m going to post the initial beta things like this, so we we intentionally went with a very minimal approach, but we also really encouraged the team to try a lot of things with the idea that, knowing going into it that we would probably throw away things that Aren’t good yeah, that was the I don’t know the mantra if you will like. Let’s just try a lot of stuff and if it doesn’t work it’s okay, we just throw died, it’s not the end of the world.

We don’t have to ship everything we dry. I think that was really liberating and really helpful, because there were a lot of folks on the team who had different had had interesting ideas and and it’s empowering for people to try stuff. But it’s also, you know appropriate that we, we don’t just say because we built it, we should ship it looking back. What would you say were the best decisions you made and also for two part.

What would you regret in terms of like oh yeah, things that you did, that you’d wish you hadn’t? I mean you can also I’m an engineer. I was definitely an engineer at those days and I feel really good about some of the decisions we made. As an engineer from an engineering focus, you know we really put a lot of. We talked a lot about how important was that we were building a product, not building a platform.

I mean ultimately is a product that carries the web platform, but what I mean by not building a platform is that sometimes there’s a temptation as engineers to go off and build framework and and tools for creating the product that you’re actually there to create you. And we really resisted that a lot tried to make sure that we focused all as much of our energy on like actually building a browser which was very helpful to make sure that that that’s what we did so, for example, we said first we’re just building a Windows browser – and that meant, let’s just use win32 straightaway, all the Microsoft API is not looking for any cross-platform toolkit framework to build our UI.

Yes, one day we’ll bring this to Mac one day, we’ll bring it to Linux. You know, and so on, but like for now we’re just building a Windows application and when we went to finally build a Mac product a product for us 10, we told some of the engineers at Google. We said hey, you want to come work with us. We’d love for you to build the best browser for OS 10, and we want you to approach it. The same way that we approached building for Windows, which is all the UI, should be cocoa.

It should all be native, and we want you to have the freedom and flexibility to both embrace the native operating system primitives, but also move quickly as those primitives change, as the iOS evolves. So, let’s build a Mac focused product again with this idea that it’s we’re building product on a platform for building browsers, but what ends up happening as you do this and we did the same thing with Linux.

What ends up happening as you do this? Is you know we start to realize. We were coding same thing three times, yeah right and later on. Things like Android came along and iOS and Chrome OS, and so our world got a lot more complicated and what we ended up doing is, or is this arc from the singular I’m building a product to I’m starting to build platform things that helped me build that Product across and different platforms, yeah and that came afterwards – and I think that was actually somewhat healthy in a bit it.

To a certain extent. I kind of have some regrets that we built Chrome so much as a monolithic product. So while there is some code structure, that’s healthy and good, and – and there is somewhat of a layer cake, if you will there are – there – are some cuts that some some extra layers in the cake that should have been there. And now we have a lot of complexity because we didn’t make some of those cuts earlier.

We didn’t modularize necessarily as much as we should have. But again I think that came from that that focus some were just building this product and he does. I don’t need to be extra. We don’t need all that extra modular modularity, and now we find ourselves wishing he had a maybe done a little more, a little more forethought on that. What would you say, the decisions that were made that were actually really good to the success of a break, yeah yeah, so design examples in engineering examples.

There was this one one concept that was came up very early, which was – and we wrestled with this a bit. So the content area of a tab right, we started with the idea that there are some. We will actually have some browser UI that lives in the tab. So, for example, when you open a new tab, page there’s there’s some content shown to you, suggestions about things. You might want to do yeah. We started out building that natively and we started to find ourselves discovering an uncanny valley, because development users have this expectation that things inside the tab behave like web pages.

But building that not using web technologies meant that some things were subtly not right: yeah selection, behavior, wasn’t there context menus? Not there and the same. You know just things were subtly different, and so we scrapped that and we built the new tab page using web technology, and now it fit better everything we didn’t have all those little niggling little bugs you just felt natural. It felt natural it fit with the product.

On the flip side, we had some dialogues and some of those dialogues, mostly they were built natively, but a few of them were built using web and they never felt quite right, and so then we came to this. Discover that, like, let’s be opinionated about this, if it’s a dialog, it’s done natively and if it’s in the content area, it’s done with the tab, and then we avoid this sort of uncanny valley situation.

When chrome came out, there was a designing for best viewed in Internet Explorer, 6 yeah, and it’s interesting. You say like at the time. Webkit was not the priority of web developers. Now, we’ve shifted 10 years later, we’re seen best viewed in chrome or best viewed in WebKit browsers. So there’s this constant fear that we’re possibly entering back to the past, where, if, if, if development stops, then users and like the web technology becomes like a stagnant, oh yeah, that’s a great question.

I think that oh there’s a couple different things that happen with ie6 right, so, first off Microsoft stopped evolving the guys and we’re not stopping evolving api’s. We our mission, is to make the web better, and so it continued invest in that and the way we invest in that is, it’s very important to work with the standards community, the other browser vendors in particular and web developers, so that we get it right.

One of the dangers of shipping an API, if you’re the only one, only browser shipping it is that you might come to find that there’s a better way to do that. Api, yeah, a better design and then the end result is we’ll be tempted to ship. The new design as well the better design, but we won’t we’ll – have trouble leaving behind the old design so now we’ll ship, two ways to do something yeah or in the worst case three ways to do something.

If you look at CSS gradients, you will see. There’s multiple ways: yeah – and this comes from this – this this phenomenon. Where browser ships it early, then they learn that oh gee. I wish I’d done it differently and then they ship it that way too, and then oh yeah. I wish they would do it differently and they ship it that. Finally – and so you end up with a multitude of ways to do things in the web platform, gets really complicated and we don’t want the bad develop web developer to be thrashed by all of that.

Right, we want to keep it simple and make sure the api’s work well, so we want to do our do a good job, and that means spending time with other browser, vendors spending, time with web developers, learning understanding all the use cases and being very deliberate in The standards process, but we should still be able to ship something. Finally, and sometimes we do have to take some calculated risk yeah right.

Sometimes we are the first browser to ship an API, but we hope to do that in a way that stands the test of time, you’re looking for pain, points and you’re, trying to understand the why it is that people have these problems so that you understand their Mental model and you avoidable, designing in that way again.

Your expertise share something that’s entertaining and of value, Educate me and then Twitter. Now Twitter. You can get A little more frequent to stay on top of that newsfeed, So you can be posting every day Once a day, maybe twice a day and keep it short and sweet. Like me, And informative, I wasn’t going to say it And you might be thinking I’m a seasonal business, so I’m going to like take some time off with that social media calendar Eh wrong, Let’s say: you’re a hotel.

It’s the off season show me a picture of the beach Wish. You were here, Happy get excited about it. Take this and put it top of mind for your customers, your guests, so they don’t forget about you throughout the year Wow Emma! In the future, I also recommend to Keep in mind, especially on social media, that you don’t always have to create original content, Which does take more time. You can also share content from relevant folks in your industry. So let’s say you have a restaurant and you read this great tweet from Bon Appetit. Oh, my gosh click retweet. There’s your content for the day and it’s super relevant to your audience.

Maybe some cool recipes and cooking tips, Or maybe you are a landscape artist and you read something about on homes and gardens or better homes, And you get excited about it. You’re like this is something My audience will love Again: repost retweet And don’t forget user generated content. Your customers are already big fans of what you do. They might be taking photos of your food, your products capturing their experience.

With your services Pay attention to that when you’re mentioned and repurpose that Share it, retweet and That’s going to save you time, Just like the scheduling apps that I mentioned prior So I’m sensing a theme here that I don’t have to come up everything myself Exactly and that’s. What’s so cool about these Social media blogs They are very social and that, yes, it’s not always about You and it shouldn’t be Just dishing out your content, your expertise, sell, sell, sell.

You want to drive some Conversation and engagement with the help of your friends on social, Like other businesses in your industry, So I know one of my bad habits in the past is really just always being on social media. So do you have any kind? Of tips to kind of help with that Yes, you can definitely just set aside some time a window where you take that time to really focus on your social media content And also go and check out what other people are posting.

So you can get new followers. You can get eyes on your brand by just following, like minded people, And in addition to that, I’m a big fan of setting alerts and reminders. Oh yeah, I love to do whatever I can to declutter up here and take off my brain One less thing to think about. I am all for it. I live by my calendar, so I get that Yeah same You should see it mine’s color coded It’s ridiculous.

Oh mine’s bland So have an alert, Have a reminder and then, when that alert goes off this is your time to hone in and see you know who’s commenting on your post. Did you get any reviews And if you did take the Time to respond to those Read them and respond: In a personal manner, And any mentions that you have, Which I just talked about, User generated content: this is another great time to Check in setting that alert, like hey Sam, remember, see if Your customers are posting about you and, if so, acknowledge that, because this is clearly a Testimonial to your business, if they’re out there mentioning you Or taking photos of your services, your products Take advantage of it set an alert: Your users, your clients, your customers, they’re the best marketers for your business.

Another thing that I recommend for a good time saver is write out the copy before you post, So your caption. I see this all the time. With my influencer friends, They got that great shot, they’re ready to post that awesome photo on Instagram and then they’re Just hanging out stumped for words like Em Em Em. What do I say? I’m, like I don’t know, you’re putting me on the spot. So it’s something to Think and put time aside to put these captions, Maybe in a word doc, I often use my iPhone notes.

I see my influencer friends do the same So that way, they’re not rushed to come up with a witty creative caption. They have like this caption bank. If you will So you’re saying pretty much, you don’t have to do. Everything in the moment, You know you can plan it out Yeah and that actually brings up a good point. We’re talking a lot about captions and having a caption bank if you will, But also have a photo Bank, so if you come across some compelling photos that you think you might use one day to represent your brand or Your team or your business store those in a place where You can easily access them And just put them out there.

It’s going to save you so much time versus that day, you’re coming in to the kitchen, You haven’t posted on Instagram in a week and you’re like already rushing to get the orders out, Be like oh team, get Together, we’re going to do a behind the scenes photo, It’s like no. This is our busiest time of the day. People need to be served. How Google Search Works (in 5 minutes)

Google Search itself – like how this whole thing actually works, and while this is a subject, Entire books have been written about there. ’ s a good chance! You ’ re in the market, for something A little more concise, So let ’ s say it! ’ s! Getting close to dinner! And you want a recipe for.

.. Lasagna. You ’ ve, probably seen this before, But let ’ s go a little deeper Since the beginning back when the homepage Looked like this, Google has been continuously mapping the web, hundreds of billions of Pages to create something called an index, Think of it as the giant library we look through Whenever you do a search for lasagna or anything else Now, the word lasagna shows up a lot on the Web pages about the history of lasagna articles by a scientist whose last name happened to Be “ Lasagna, ” stuff other people might be looking for.

But if you ’ re hungry, randomly clicking Through millions of links is no fun, This is where Google ’ s, ranking algorithms. Come into play first, they try to understand what you ’ re looking for, so they can be Helpful, even if you don ’ t, know exactly the right words to use or if your spelling is A little off, Then they sift through millions of possible Matches in the index and automatically assemble a page that tries to put the most relevant Information up top for you to choose from Ok.

Now we have some results, But how did the algorithms actually decide? What made it onto the first page, There are hundreds of factors that go into Ranking search results, so let ’ s talk about a few of them. You may already know that pages containing the words you searched for are more likely. To end up at the top – no surprise there, But the location of those words like in The page, ’ s title or in an image: ’ s, caption – those are factors too There.

’ s a lot more to ranking than just Words Back when Google got started, we looked at How pages linked to each other to better understand what pages were about and how important and Trustworthy, they seemed Today linking is still an important factor. Another factor is location – where a search Happens – because, if you happen to be in Ormea Italy, you might be looking for information. About their annual lasagna festival, but if you ’ re in Omaha Nebraska, you probably Aren, ’ t When a webpage was uploaded is an important Factor too – pages published more recently often have more accurate information, especially In the case of a rapidly developing news story, Of course, not every site on the web is trying To be helpful, Just like with robocalls on your phone or Spam in your email, there are a lot of sites that only exist to scam and every day, scammers Upload millions more of them So just because instantvirusdownload.

Net lists The words “ lasagna recipe ” 400 times that doesn ’ t mean it. ’ s going to help you Make dinner We spend a lot of time trying to stay one Step ahead of tricks like these making sure our algorithms can recognize scam sites and Flag them before they make it to your Search results page. So let ’ s review billions of times a day. Whenever someone searches for lasagna or “ resume, writing tips, ” or “ how to swaddle A baby ” or anything else, Google, ’ s; software locates, all the potentially relevant results.

On the web removes all the spam and ranks them based on hundreds of factors, like keywords: Links, location and freshness, Ok., Good time to take a breath. This last part is about how we make changes. To search and it ’ s important Since 1998, when Google went online people Seem to have found our results pretty helpful, But the web is always changing and people Are always searching for new things – in fact, one in every seven searches is for something That ’ s never been typed into the search box before by anyone ever So.

We ’ re, always working on updates to Search – thousands every year, Which brings up a big question: how do we Decide whether a change is making search more helpful, Well, one of the ways we evaluate potential Updates to Search is by asking people like you Every day, thousands of Search, Quality, Raters Look at samples of search results side-by-side then, give feedback about the relevance and Reliability of the information To make sure those evaluations are consistent.

The raters follow a list of Search Quality, Evaluator Guidelines, Think of them as our publicly available guide. To what makes a good result?… Good, Oh and one last thing to remember: we use Responses from Raters to evaluate changes, but they don ’ t directly impact. How Search Results are ranked So there you have it every time. You click “ search ” our algorithms are analyzing, the meaning of the words in your search matching Them to content on the web understanding what content is most likely to be helpful? And reliable and then automatically putting it all together in a neatly organized page: Designed to get you to the info, you need All in.

.., oh 0.81 seconds Wow. Anyone else ready for dinner, Interested in learning more We’ve got a whole website dedicated to how Search works. Just click right here Want to read the Search, Quality, Rater Guidelines, For yourself, Click right here,

Before You Start Blogging You HAVE to Know This

There’s. There’s other ways to do it, but for those who want a blog, I guess the key thing that I want to talk about today is just making sure you’re set up for success all right, because there’s different protocol that you should be doing on your blog in Order to get that search engine, optimization, that’s going to work for you, you know number one before you blog or set up a blog.

The key thing to think about is: what do you need all right? So what what kind of sections are you going to have? How are you going to lay it out menu eyes post was because that is very important, because when you change it later the search engines don’t like them and they could actually penalize you for that and then take you off the rankings so think about that. As you are getting started, so as you begin to blog, as you begin to set your website up, think about things as the domain, what kind of do mean do you want to have? How are people going to find you? What are they going to be? Looking for all right, are you primarily doing it for one kind of niche or you like me: you’ve got your hand and a few different things and you’ve got to kind of be sporadic and kept spacing out a little bit.

Yeah so think about things like that. You know how how to section it out how to lay it out how to make things the way that you need them to be, and that’s the key yeah. That’s the key plan ahead, always plan. You know those who don’t plan plan to fail so either way. You’re planning, which way do you want, so I think what I’ll do is go more in depth, because I’ve got a few people that are messaging me right now and want to know how to set up a blog.

So I think what I’ll do in the coming days is set up a blog in tutorial and i’ll. Show you how I’ve done it, how I’ve managed to take five of my sight and put them all in the top three hundred thousand sites that are searched for so and that’s a big deal. You know Alexa rankings are really really big, so I’m going to show you how to do that and just ways to set your blog up to be successful. You’ve got to put the time into it.

You got to put the content and all the stuff that people are going to be looking for, but you know what it’s all about, how much you care about? What you do you know if you’re, just going to be blogging to you know, have something with your name on it, then, honestly, it’s not for you. It really isn’t, but if you’re going to blog to teach people stuff to show them how to do things, you know give them good real life.

Examples of stuff, then blogging tall, all the way for you and I highly recommend it because it gives you away gives you an outlet says be so you can get information out there to the world, because the world needs more information. Unfortunately, so, and if you’ve got things, you want to talk about people that you want to enrich their lives and blogging is definitely a very, very good thing to do, and it can really help out with leads with getting exposure to you and what you’re doing.

And it’s how I’ve built my business, you know word of mouth and offline is definitely the better way, but if you are not an offline kind of person and you’re, just looking for ways to get your content out, there, blogging is a way to do it. WordPress set it up easy template, just get going just make sure you’re set up correctly. You can do the pretty stuff later. The structure is what is important, how your blog is laid out and making sure your categories, your sections or pages or pose all – are going to things that are very search: engine friendly.

That will help you be found, in other words, so all right, that’s my rim! For today you know I got number love for each and every one of you, and I hope that anything that I teach you anything that would go over, that I discuss that. It just touches your life, it changes you and it helps you to become the better person and to live your life to the best of your abilities. Alright, such a boy pick chips here with a diamond dream, team and simple freedom, just knock it and how changing lives but make it a great day.

I dare

What’s kind of the biggest thing that you are basing that you want to share on stage that maybe even have an opportunity to do some like piece of advice of things that you’ve learned, yeah he’s really important in the industry. I think, what’s really important is to in terms of influencer. Marketing is just understand that it’s just a piece of the marketing ecosystem.

So it’s you shouldn’t necessarily go all-in on influence or marketing or or think it’s just going to be a one-trick pony that saves your business or whatever. It is just understand it’s a subset of social media marketing. It’s just another tactic, really that you can use in your overall marketing strategy. Tell you know achieve your business results so approaching it in that matter is really important.

I think to understand that it’s it’s not the saving, grace or you know the the biggest thing you should be doing in marketing it’s using it as a piece to the larger puzzle and all of your digital marketing and putting them all together and having all these Different campaigns and and strategies working cohesively together, yeah, and so it’s essentially like a one brick like if you were to build a home of marketing like it’s one of the bricks to that home, right yeah.

Exactly and that’s one thing that a lot of people are talking about is like taking certain marketing efforts out of the silos right and so not having them just work independently. So if you’re doing influencer marketing that’s great, but how is it integrating and working or leveraging and writing momentum of other marketing campaigns to and having all online offline marketing? What all the different kind of campaigns and strategies and tactics are using all kind of work together.

Rather than just have your influencer marketing team, your social marketing team, your you know, programmatic team and all these different teams like how can we actually bring these all together, so they can kind of write each other’s coattails yeah then so, do you work only you work With the business you don’t work, the influences right. You work with the the brains personally yeah yeah. I work directly with the brands, and then we have talent, managers and campaign managers who are more.

You know in contact with the influencers themselves. Yeah, I don’t. I don’t deal with infinitesimal, yeah and in terms like working with a branch. What’s the biggest thing that you’ve learned to kind of, I guess, make the brand’s happy yeah. So I think one of the things I say on stage is about defining success and your intent like. Why are you doing influencer marketing and then also defining success like how? How are we going to know if this is successful or not successful? So, really, what to me, what that encompasses is just expectations.

Setting that’s something we have problems with. A lot, unfortunately, is having very clear expectations with one another like what the brand wants. We know those expectations and what and what they need and then the brand’s expectations of what we’re going to do and deliver and what we can and can’t do. That is a very contentious point. So I think that’s a really really important thing to have that super.

Clear communication with with the brand yeah yeah cool, and what about in terms like stacking girl, think what value has stacking growth provided? You yeah, I think the great thing about stacking growth is everyone here is super open-minded in terms of finding new, innovative ways to market or to grow a business, so that kind of environment and culture is really great. If you’re trying to grow a business and become more successful or whatever your intent is on that area, literally growth right having that kind of environment is super important that you may not get at some other kinds of conferences where it’s just super corporate feel and everyone’s Just saying all the lingo, and just all the all the you know what I mean just that’s how it is right.

This culture here is very different, so it’s it’s cool to be around people who just want to learn from each other and aren’t afraid to give each other, maybe some trade secrets of how they do stuff because we’re here to support each other to so that’s what I really like what about? Is there anything that you want to share that? You think it’s important for people to know maybe like a life lesson piece of advice, that’s like definitely building relationships, okay in business and in your life is really important.

Rather than being, your focus is on getting something out of people. I think if you approach a lot of things in life to help whether it’s the brand or your friend or family, or anyone to help them and expecting nothing in return, it can build some like really good karma. If you believe in karma or what goes around comes around kind of thing right, and I think that is what ultimately will make you successful if you’re the definition of success is just being happy right, because just helping people is amazing and it just so happens to Make you more successful or financially better or whatever it is, then that’s great too, and I think it you know having those kinds of relationships is something we need a lot more of.

As you know, an exchange of value, but not expecting anyone to to give you something back right, just do something, because it’s a nice and a great thing to do. You know what it means: yeah, no cool, then how did you get into this? Were you always in marketing and does that feel variety too? I really wasn’t so believe it or not used to be in the Air Force, and then I worked at the NSA. So I’m actually coming from like a military intelligence background, and I just serendipitously got into em social media marketing, because I was building some fan pages on industry on my facebook for fun and it’s a really long story.

But eventually that got me a job at a brand and mobile gaming company and then that changed my life, so it just. I was just doing something that was fun for me as like growing community on Instagram and Facebook totally fun. I had no intent of being in business or making money from it, but since I was doing that well with like no training or anything it you know like I said, serendipitously became my career, so yeah, it’s very.

It’s very interesting story. Actually, it’s crazy to think about yeah. Well, so you built so do you have any tips or advice for people wanting to grow communities because stacking about this is obviously one community or people who come here also trying to grow their own communities? How can they go about replicating what you did with those? I think again, it’s about relationships too right like if you want to have at least an engaged community.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qfiVo0RdCIY

You want to be, as in you actually engaged with your your followers, your fans as possible and way to do. That is to be very relatable and approachable right. So it depends on what kind of community you’re growing right like there’s, fan, pages and mean pages and there’s also influencers and personality pages, and then there’s you know, brands or conferences and things like that, but either way. That’s that’s what we need in a society in a world.

That’s so connected we’re incredibly disconnected right nowadays, because it’s just so just you know so saturated with content and stuff like that right. So those relationships – man, yeah yeah woman – is like. How can I help you and what are your goals with stacking girls? Are you just running me as many people here, and there goes many relationships? Yeah really. I think the the main thing is to build relationships with people who are and are not in my vertical just because, like I said, I think people have a really good attitude of like finding ways for growth there.

You know worky interesting, creative, different ways to grow. Our businesses and careers, and things like that, so that’s why I really like connecting with people who are like-minded like that who are just gritty and trying to find any in every way they can to to do better. You know so I mean my goal is as mostly relationships that I do, I think, to connect with those kinds of people, and I guess yeah.

This is my first one. I’ve been to, and also it’s it’s my second, it’s pretty cool yeah, everyone’s, so friendly. It’s so easy to meet, people just have, and the cool thing is so many people here, I think, know each other from online or seen each other kinda cool like it’s, not it’s less awkward. Sometimes I found here’s like some people, like I seen you all the time never met you, but I’ve seen the articles on linkedin all the time or whatever it is.

So it’s like you know, almost feel, like you know some of the people here. You know it feels like it a little less like standoffish or corporate or you don’t. You know I mean you feel, like you already kind of know these people guys on how even if you’ve never met on my. So I think that’s like a cool thing to first act with. Hopefully they can keep that element alive as much as you can, especially as it grows.

You know it’s harder to do that as things grow, but do you want people to find you? If so, where can they find? You find me on LinkedIn, because that’s the greatest growing platform and on the planet right now, LinkedIn’s the spot to find me. I don’t really like people connecting me connecting with me, at least in message form on like Instagram or Facebook. So much maybe once we know each other but like when I first encountered you know or develop relationships with someone.

Now I look I like doing on LinkedIn it’s a really great platform, I’m finding to connect with people so find me on LinkedIn, Travis, Holly and alright. I’m going to I’m going to find it on Facebook and Instagram yeah. You could do that too. I just may not accept your request, nothing personal! Yes, that totally makes sense. I feel, like that’s a more professional style yeah. Thank you so much Travis.

I really appreciate it yeah. This is awesome, is very meeting you

Easiest Way to Earn Passive Income in 2019| Passive Income Online Tips and Idea

I talked about the stock market, personal finance, entrepreneurship, things like that. So here’s that kind of stuff here or not yet subscribed definitely consider subscribing but other than that getting into it. So, like I said I’ll, be talking about passive income and specifically I’ll be talking about what passive income actually is.

Some misconceptions about passive income, then how I make it and how you might be able to as well so one of the best investors of all time, the one of the goats Warren Buffett says: if you don’t make money, while you sleep, you will never become rich And I definitely definitely agree with this now, when I’m talking about passive income, I’m not talking about starting some, like amazon, FBA or some Shopify store, or some like that, I’m talking about actual passive income.

So looking at passive income in its purest forms – and I think there are a lot of different forms of passive income in different ways – it can be like associated with different incomes, but either way. The purest forms of passive income is just simply investing in the stock market in one way or the other or investing in real estate, so why? Those are the two purest forms of passive income? Well, if we look at what passive income actually means, it basically means putting X amount of money into something and then having that just simply generate you more money and that’s really what passive income in is at its purest form.

So, relating this to the stock market, you put X amount into the stock market, whether it’s an you know, it could be in stocks, individual stocks ETFs different kinds of funds, bonds, whatever it might be, and then having that money grow over time and maybe make you Make money through capital gains or through dividends, and then, when looking at real estate, it could be investing in REITs or literally investing in physical, real estate like apartments or houses.

Duplexes offices different things like that, then getting money again through capital gains dividends as well as perhaps some sort of rent. Now those are the two purest forms of passive income, and I think it is actually important to have you know one or both of those in your kind of like arsenal of income, because those of course are the, in my opinion, some of the best ways that You can make money over the long term and specifically I invest in the stock market.

I really do enjoy investing it’s really smart to do it. You know whatever age rap, it doesn’t really matter, but either way getting back to the passive income aspect of it. In order to actually make some sort of income that you could live off of or get you to quit your 9 to 5 or maybe get you to stop working a little bit less, you need a significant amount invested into the stock market and it would be Upwards of hundreds of thousands of dollars now I don’t think if you’re reading this article I’m going to have to assume – and I know I don’t myself – just simply – have hundreds of thousands of dollars lying around to invest and the stock market.

That’s why in 2019, I actually think there are some smarter ways to get passive income online and it’s kind of exactly what I’m doing right now. So, basically, I think the easiest way to create passive income online is basically to create a mini online business through a bunch of different ways, and it basically is what I’m doing right now. So I think the easiest way to actually create just overall income and even to start off of business, which I would consider somewhat passive in nature, because it’s not going to be your full-time job.

Just yet, it’s simply by creating contact online. Whether or not it’s through YouTube or Twitter or Instagram, it doesn’t really matter, but I think the smartest way by far to make an online business that could create passive income, for you is just simply by creating content online. Now, obviously, there’s a ton of different ways to create content, and I think personally, the smartest way to do it is actually to go.

Follow Gary v’s, like content structure, you could just Google like Gary Vee content. I think it’s like slide on slide shares or something like that. It’s this beautiful way to do it, but I’m not going to break down the entire thing, maybe in a different article, but either way. Basically, what you have to do is do exactly what I’m doing so, pretty much figure out something you enjoy talking about or writing about, or making pictures about doesn’t really matter.

They could be anything from the stock market. To you know, entrepreneurship, to astronomy, Harry Potter. You know NFL, it doesn’t really matter if you’re interested in it, there’s probably other people who are interested in it as well. The next thing you got to figure out is where how are you going to actually make this content online, so this is going to be through article audio picture, written form.

It doesn’t really matter now. Obviously, if you’re doing article, I think there’s some the easiest way to do is just simply through YouTube. It’s super easy to use. It’s convenient it’s free, then, if you’re using audio, I actually think a podcast is a great way to go as well, but this could be a little bit different if you’re, like an artist or something that obviously you need to use SoundCloud or some medium like that.

But I actually think podcasts are super easy. I personally use anchor for my own podcast, which I don’t post on as much as I should. But anchors are free to use one that pretty much allows you to post on every platform that you could possibly listen to a podcast on and then, if you’re going. Some sort of visual – that’s not article like perhaps if you’re trying to do some sort of pictures, of course, there’s always Instagram Pinterest.

I mean there’s literally so many social media networks out there that you probably use yourself. Well, you know Facebook, even you throw that in there as well, that you could post do, but I personally like YouTube and think it’s the best to start off on. If you are a beginner, but either way once you figure out how you’re actually going to produce that medium, of course, the next part you’re going to want to do is actually just simply start creating so a lot of people.

I know they asked me because I have like a reasonably: I have a pretty decent following on YouTube right now and on social media online in general, a lot of people asked me how I got my following and how I started: making money off youtube and honestly, The simplest way is just to simply start posting content, so when you actually start making content and actually start putting it out there, if you just go back and look at some of my earliest articles, my articles were really really bad and when I first started making Articles on YouTube is literally me just simply screen recording my phone.

It wasn’t even me sitting in front of a camera. So when you first start off posting your content, you know whether it’s on YouTube or not. It’s probably not going to get millions of views or likes or retweets, whatever it’s probably going to get none and probably the only people retweeting it’s going to be like your boyfriend or girlfriend or mom or dad. Whoever might you know you told what you’re doing, but either way you have to start off somewhere.

I think it is smart. Jesus simply start creating content, not necessarily worrying about if it’s the best thing ever, but just start getting it out, because your first article your first picture, your first podcast is going to be a whole lot worse than your hundreth one, and I could definitely agree with That, with more than ever and then speaking about actually how you start making money and actually start making income off of these, there are so many different ways.

Personally, how I make money from my youtube blog is one. The biggest revenue source for me is just simply through Google Ads. So that’s one thing that I really like about YouTube as well. Is that it kind of does a lot of monetization stuff for you. So when you I’d just simply upload articles and I’ve reached actual monetization requirements on YouTube, YouTube literally pays me just simply for uploading articles that are monetized and getting monetized views now, of course, not all websites and social media sites are like this, but there’s so many Different ways: another way to make money is through referral marketing.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GhhoSGeVeO8

So basically, I use m1 finance and acorns referral marketing links, so those links are in the description and when you sign up using those links and fund your account, you get either five or ten dollars, and then I also get five or ten dollars. When you do that as well and then similar to that, there’s also affiliate marketing, which I know a lot of people out there make a ton of money off of. But I personally don’t because it just doesn’t relate to my blog.

But I talk about as much but in the description to see as well there’s an Amazon affiliate link and basically, if you click that link and buy something on Amazon, I get a small commission from that. That’s usually under like four percent, and really I don’t make pretty much any money from that at all. I only make like 20 bucks a month off of that if I’m lucky, but obviously, if you’re making something that’s more product oriented if you’re reviewing or unboxing things, you probably make a whole lot more money off of that and, of course, you could also just simply Try to sell stuff, that’s associated with what you’re talking about which I actually think is like one of the easiest ways to make money.

So there’s a bunch of different things you could sell, you could sell physical products. So if you want to go out there and make a soccer Instagram page, maybe perhaps you can make a little site income off selling soccer, jerseys or soccer balls, and then you can also sell things that aren’t physical, like ebooks, like just literally selling your own work Online, so if you’re like an artist or something like that, then also you could sell things like courses and like free article chatting live streaming with you or something like that, and there’s youtubers out there in my field that make money from literally doing client calls with People like they’ll charge from 20 bucks for a half-hour or something like that, there’s so many different ways out there.

You could make money that it is absolutely crazy and I think if you are, you know complaining about your nine-to-five job or if you really want to create some sort of passive income online. I really do think this is the easiest way out there. Just do it by far and other than that, just speaking on behalf of my actual passive income and what I do with my youtube blog so right now, I’m making a little over a thousand bucks a month from just my youtube blog, and I really don’t post Too often on any other social media – and this is really the only YouTube blog – I have that generates any money.

So in the future. What I actually plan to do is obviously continue to grow and work on this YouTube blog, but also expand this blog out on different social media networks. So I do have an Instagram. I do have a Twitter, but don’t really post too much on them. I want to post more on Instagram more on Facebook, which I also have more on Twitter and then also branch out onto other social media platforms like LinkedIn and even other newer ones like tick-tock and then also.

Lastly, one other thing I’ll do to continue to branch out this kind of passive income stream, for myself is just to simply try not necessarily to you know, keep the revenue going with this specific YouTube blog, but also start off different YouTube blogs that might be associated With this one like, I want to definitely start like some sort of like YouTube social media, how to because I’m actually pretty good at that YouTube type blog.

And then I also have a gaming blog, which I’m doing a tech blog which I’m doing, which obviously you haven’t or fu. I don’t know if you check them out or not, but have not grown nearly as much as this one have. Yet. But again I don’t post on those nearly as much as I do on this blog. So that’s my pretty much passive income goals for the next year or so then also what I’m doing right now, and I hope this really helped you guys but other than that guys it’s really air for this article.

So definitely let me know in the comments section what you think of this. I personally think this is just simply the easiest way to make income in 2019 and I think it is passive in nature because a lot of times when you’re doing this stuff, it’s a lot of initial work at once, but then once you kind of get, it Start rolling you get into a routine of things, it’s a whole lot easier and personally. For me, it is pretty passive in nature, but other that guys, like I said before, if you knew the blog definitely subscribing talk about the stock burger personal finance entrepreneurship.

Things like that to me interests that kind of stuff and you’re not subscribed, definitely consider, subscribing and also feel free to check out my social media. I have those affiliate referral links in the description as well, if you’re interested in any of that stuff, but other than that guys. Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed

Website design packages are a great way to improve your digital marketing image.

My TOP 5 Neck Knives For Bushcraft

Let’s get started really saying this list is in no specific order than price point and to give you guys, quick rundown of these dives in case you’re, unfamiliar with any of them. This is, of course, the more a companion visiting Morra eldress. This is the S III. This is the LT right Camp muck, and this is the BRK bushcrafter, and these are my top five and I’m going to get into why I these five made it onto this list, probably know or have seen from this blog.

I have a lot of neck knives and I’ve used a lot of neck knives and so who really does take quite a special knife to actually make it onto this list, because I have many to choose from, but the more companion. The reason why this is one of the first on my list is because this was actually the first neck knife. I ever ran this one specifically in the first neck knife I ever ran alongside the Mora companion.

These were the first third, more companion, slash clipper were the first two neck knives for me to ever run and I ran them for around a year and a half, and I really liked them as far as performance goes. They are very good. The price point is incredibly hard to beat on them. Overall, this knife just was such an impressive knife and, like I was saying you know, I ran it for a long time, so I really understand how to use this knife and I think, for a good starting neck knife.

This one is extremely hard to beat. I really think the only thing that could really beat this as a starter. Neck knife is its newer brother, the L dress and the L dress. Once I got it, I was kind of one of the last people as far as youtuber viewers to go to actually get one, but now that I’ve got it, it is fastly becoming one of my favorite neck knives. Ever I mean really, as I see the more L dress, it’s like a every day man’s se as Azula.

You know it has a large handle, obviously for these mittens, it’s a little bit hard to show, but it actually can fit pretty well, even with very large men, unlike I have here today, but overall, as far as being a very small night list set around the Size of an ST masuleh, this knife is really really good and once again it keeps that characteristic property of more knives, and that is a very good value and a reasonably low.

When I was saying, I really love the moral dress and it is, in my opinion, really the only Mora that could really beat the companion as far as being a very compact, very lightweight, but still quite strong neck knife and one of the largest upgrades I see With Elle dress is not only that is a lighter weight than the companion, but they’ve actually sharpened the spine from factory on the L dress. So it actually throws me crazy, so I really have been in super impressed by it.

I think any of you guys have readed my a lot of my survival kit. Articles you’ll know that the L dress is pretty much the knife of choice for me, and it is that for that reason that it’s extremely small, extremely light yet extremely capable. So, though that is the companion’ /l dress, I really do love the companion once again, if you’re getting in neck knives – and you really want to get a good knife knife to begin with, you know: oftentimes a lot of neck knives are more expensive.

Like these. All three of these are over $ 100, so Neth knives can be more expensive thing to get into, but if you want really affordable ones, definitely turn to Mora. So number three is the S III. Ironically, that is not tying that way. It’s just how it worked out, it’s just a coincidence, but I really love the S III. This is actually one of my favorites of this entire batch just for the fact that I think it’s really good for bushcraft, but it’s also really good defensive, Neff knife and the reason why – and I’ve talked about this – I believe in the review – is because it’s an Ultra ultra slim night, I mean yes see the thickness on this I mean this is the thinnest as far as overall thickness like throughout the entire knife.

This is the thinnest knife. Here I mean you can see with all these other knives the handles they kind of swell out, and that is a little bit of a problem with long term use of the ac3. But when you carry this knife, it is super flat super low-profile. It does not. Stick out at all, so it makes it a really good defensive option, as well as a pretty capable field blade, and so this is how to make my list just for the fact that it, if it’s dualism it also in my opinion, is one of the most Perfect sizes for a neck knife – I know these smaller neck knives are great, but at the same time I do like personally just a little bit of a larger knife, and so that’s where the S III lines right off with me, and so I really like this One and if you do shop around normally these things are a little over $ 100, so normally like around 104 to $ 100 on Amazon, but I actually shopped around and found a killer deal on this one.

I got this one for like $ 70, so you can find good deals on se. Threes. You just really have to read out. You know, go to a lot of knife shops in particular. I got this one from knives ship free when they were doing like a blowout sale or this one I like, sell a whole bunch of excess stuff, so they were discounting it heavily. So I really liked this one. I was able to get it like. I said for a really good deal and this one’s a little bit of special one just for accelerations, it’s a green and Brent blaze orange as well as it’s a modified tang.

So I really like this one. I’ve been very impressed with it and, like I said what I like most about this knife, is that dual factor that not only can you carry this in a bushcrafting situation and still a very capable knife. But if you want a knife that also duels as your everyday carry neck knife or a defensive purpose, this is a very good choice. I want to a little bit more of an unusual one, I’d say in the LT right lineup.

This is probably one of their least talked about or more rare knives, and this is the LT right can’t muck. Now this is actually one and I’ll be doing the forward wellness and a bed, but this is actually one that came over from the. What is it long blind horse knife days and this one was the camp muck by blind horse knives, but of course, black horse knives no longer exists, but LT right took this design on and once again I think they killed it and additionally, a super capable camp Knife, it’s extremely good.

I’ve dressed several game animals, it’s extremely good at dressing game animals, it’s pretty good at doing just regular camp tasks. This is an a2 tool steel, so the edge retention is pretty good. Once again, it’s right around the same size as the SE. Through you can kind of see, you know it’s, it’s actually a little smaller than the S III and so fits right in there right in my kind of loved size range.

So I really like where this fall as far as the size range goes. It’s not too big, it’s not too small and one thing it’s a very unusual knife. It’s really awesome. I love that nest neck design. It’s not a design, you see very frequently anymore, but it’s still extremely capable and if you ever use an S, mukhda zine you’ll really love it. So that is the LT right can’t muck. This one, like I said, is an a2 tool.

Steel with black and blue g10 that is contoured, so I really love this setup. These are pretty tough to find like I was saying they are rare for a reason. I contacted LT right and they only make these every once in a long while in small batches. So if you want one of these, they’re really tricky to find, but just google them, you can likely find a company. Once again, one of my favorite places to get knives is nice ship free, not trying to do an ad for them, but I found both of the SE and this LT right there they only had this is the last one they had in stock, though so yeah.

These are pretty tricky to find that’s kind of my only hesitancy of making a review with them is. They are quite tricky to find and they’re not made very frequent. You probably one of my favorite. I guess you could say math knives. I’ve carried this or I carried this. This is decommissioned both of the companion and this one on our decommissioned. In case, you guys are wondering why you don’t see necklaces on them.

They long abundantly absolute favorites, but for a very long time it was one of my most favorite bushcraft knives. I guess a whole just an entirety of bushcrafting. It still is an extremely hard to beat night. If you really want to see the standard of what a bushcraft knife should be it pretty much is the bark of a nice bushcrafter, I’m not just trying to say that, because it’s an expensive knife, but overall the complete design on this and the way it’s laid Out the wave, the exit is just extremely good.

I have game animals with this knife, everything from grouse to squirrels, to hares every every really my shot, every type of animal except large, large game animals. I’ve dressed with this. It is an extremely capable knife, not just in stress in game animals, though it is also very good. At carving netting needles, try sticks really. This was a knife that I had to separate myself with, and so when I do a lot of like how-to articles, I don’t like to do it with this knife, just because I use this night so much I mean it is like my general purpose fix all Knife look: I just need a knife to do something.

I am 99 % sure this knife will do it and it’s made out of the excellent CPM 3v steel. It is an incredible steel. This 3 v it just goes forever. It’s an absolute trooper of a steel. It is a sharpened spine or at least a 90-degree spine, so it throws fair odds, marks very well. The handle’having. Now more experience I did when I first got this knife with handles. I will say, at least in the beginning of this, handle it’s a little too slender me, but still even now, it is pretty good.

Another thing I like about this knife as far as neck knives go. You can see that even with these gigantic mittens on – and these are a very large men in case you guys don’t know – these are not tiny little mittens, but even with these very large mittens on I solve a complete hold. None of my fingers are falling off. Even you know, with the mittens on the mitten is not falling off the back or really the front.

You know I can still fully use this knife, because this handle is quite large. This is, I think, the largest neck knife I have here, and this is probably honestly the largest size for neck knife. I would ever recommend but overall, like I said, if you’re looking for a standard of measure for a bushcraft or really not nice, this is it. I do think if you were to go with this knife, it’s really hard to go wrong with it.

It is expensive, I’m not going to lie it’s around 230 dollars, if not more, because some of the handle options, but it is 5 knives or neck knives for bushcraft. In particular, I could go into a defensive role like or everyday carry where I’m carrying neck knives for defensive or in a defensive role, and certainly it would change up a little bit. There would be other knives in this mix, but this one’s more specifically talking about outdoors knives and, like I said over my experience of years and bushcraft, would have been some of my favorite neck knives.

Hopefully, you’ve enjoyed that. Don’t forget to comment like share subscribe and tell me what your thoughts are. What are you guys’s, 5 top neck knives, or do you guys even carry neck knives? I’m not sure not. Everyone carries neck knives, but I certainly do and really love it. If you guys don’t carry neck knives seriously, think about it, anyways guys! That’s all! For now and I’m out you you

Tips on Becoming a Natural Hair Brand Ambassador | SoDazzling

This is your first time here. My name is Leticia B and in today’s article I just want to answer a few questions that I have gotten over the last couple of days. If you follow me on Instagram or if you don’t my name on Instagram, is the same as my youtube blog name, so dazzling go ahead and find me on there and of course follow me on there. But if you follow me on Instagram, then you may have seen me post about the different events that I have either volunteered at or worked at over the last three weeks.

The first event that I volunteered at was called the Chicago healthy hair affair and the second one was the Chicago stop of the hew affair tour and then, most recently, I served as a brand ambassador for design essentials at the Chicago’s ultimate Women’s Expo. Now I’ve been asked like how did I find out about these events and how did I get the opportunity to either volunteer or serve as a brand ambassador and to answer that question? Are those questions pretty much? I followed people on instagram like brands, and you know people who I know made that may put on events.

I followed them on Instagram and I really just try to stay up-to-date with. What’s going on. As a matter of fact, the young lady who put on the Chicago’s healthy hair affair, I think we’re actually in one of the same we’re actually in the same group on Facebook, and then we just started following each other on Instagram, and I saw her post about It so I decided to just you know, help her out and volunteer at her event and then for the huge Hugh, a ferret or same thing, the sponsoring brand, for that tour was actually my Elle organics and I do follow mile organics on Instagram.

So I found out not only through their Instagram but also another girl friend. She volunteered at the New York stop the Gila, Fair tour, and I found out you know because she posted about it. So I was like okay as a sign. I’ve seen it twice now. So I’m going to go ahead and volunteer for that and for that one I was actually a very interesting experience, because when I got the volunteer instructions you know I was told you know to be there at this time and then I got a follow-up email saying That I was going to be working with Camille Rose Naturals.

Now initially I was like oh cool. You know. Let me get to meet some people, you know come elros naturals and work with them and yada yada yada na me and two other young ladies who volunteer at this evening, actually worked at Camille Rose Naturals table. So it’s so interesting because people were thinking that we were actually like brand ambassadors or working for that company, but yeah. That was just a very fun experience all in itself.

So basically yeah. I just followed them on Instagram and then, when they posted about needing one Sears, I just reached out to them, and then I was accepted as a volunteer, and then we went from there now for the most recent event that I worked, which was when I served As a brand ambassador to design essentials, they actually reached out to me, and the reason why I think they reached out to me is one because, generally when I post on Instagram, I always use hashtags and a lot of my hashtags.

You know I’ll put like Chicago Naturals or whatever something that relates to your cago to naturals, and then you know they probably either went to that hashtag and found me or it killed me, because I also posted a product that I received from them. In my swag back from the hue of ferrets or um, and I made sure to tag them in my IG story, so it may also been. You know that way that they found me so really is so important to make sure that whenever you were doing a review – or you know whatever the case is or when you’re posting to Instagram, that you are definitely tagging the brands that you are using, because you Never know when they may reach out to you, so that was that was really good.

That was yeah. That Expo was way bigger than anything I’ve ever done, and it was just so overwhelming, but it was definitely a learning experience and I truly enjoy working with design essentials and then one other thing too, is that oh, okay, yeah, okay, slightly Beckett, so two things. Someone also asked me: how did I become a brand ambassador for Shea Moisture now that came about – and I actually believe I talked about this is one of my older articles, but that came about because I follow a more honest again.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=p1P1d0rZw70

You got ta be in the right place right time, knowing the right people, you know, but I follow them on Instagram and I saw that they posted about needing brand ambassadors and what you had to do was submit a article. I think it was like 30 seconds or one minute, or something like that. You know just a short article explaining to them why you would make a good at brand ambassador. So pretty much. I just liked my article talking about how is the first brand I’ve ever used when I first went natural because I used that coconut hibiscus line like it went and that’s like my favorite line when I first went natural.

So I you know basically just plain how they were the first branagh use, and you know what my platform is, and you know my youtube blog and how you know my goal is really to help other people learn and embrace and just love their natural hair. So I mean, after that I was accepted, so that is also has been really cool and I’m so pumped. So just think about it, because my next box has been shaped so make sure that you’re on the lookout for my next shade basilar box review and then the last thing is.

I actually just got my first well, I guess is well, it was my first glad just had my second one recently, but my first paid like I don’t know if it will be considered a sponsorship because they’re not necessarily sponsoring me, but I got my first paid Opportunity like a few months ago and y’all I have been so excited. I cannot wait to share with y’all what the products were and just share with y’all.

More give you guys more information about the brand that I’m working with, but yeah. That also came about because I was you know I had my youtube blog. So a lot of the reviews that I do is start from like the Shea Moisture stuff. I generally do them because I bought the product or I’ve gotten the product as a gift. So I really do it just because I want to do it and I did a article for you know. Some products from this particular brand and the owner of the brand saw the article and she was just so.

You know happy about the article and was just really excited, and so she pretty much offered me an opportunity to work with her, and that has just been so amazing. So really I say all of that to say is that you have to put yourself in a position to where. Not only will you have the ability to reach out to people, but you want to put yourself in a position where people will want to reach out to you.

You know what I’m saying, so you just have to make sure that you’re making quality content, making sure that you are keeping up to date with all the brands like if there’s a brand that you want to work with speaking into in existence, because when I first Started my youtube blog, I made shorts like write down goals and one of my goals was to become a brand ambassador. Well, no, I take that back. My first goal was to just work with you know a brand in general and that’s when I got my opportunity to work with chrome makes earlier this year and I was a part of their photo shoot but no photo shoot.

I was a part of their photo shoots and I was on their website for a very long time now. It’s just like whoa, okay, doors opening, and then after that I was like. Okay. Now I got ta, you know I got ta speak more things into existence. I was like okay, I want to be a brand ambassador for a well-known company, well-known brand boom. Shea Moisture happens, then I’m like okay. I want to work with a well-known brand like you know whatever, so then that’s when the Camille Rose.

Naturals, like the Camille Rose, natural, say what happened and being you know, contacted by design essentials happen and I’m just like okay yeah. This is really working. So then I was alright. I wouldn’t I want to get it checked all right. I want to make that go up. I mean I’m not really making grew up right now, but you know I want to make some money. So then that’s when I got you know the opportunity with the brand that I’m currently collaborating with, and I’m just saying alright, I can do this, you know so it was really all about sticking to whatever.

Whatever is that, you want to do, stick with it. Just continuously to grow, and you know your craft continuously try to perfect your craft. Just you know, keep getting better at it and just make sure that you are staying up-to-date with. You know the brands that you want to work with and, most importantly speak things into existence and not only speaking into an existence, but writing it down because writing it down I’m making making a plan.

It makes a huge difference. So anyhow, that’s all. I really wanted to say in this article – hopefully it’s not too long. I really don’t know i’ma try to edit it down if it is, but I hope that it was helpful and I hope that I answered those questions for you know anyone who may be wondering, but if you have any specific questions or you know, if you need Help with like you need someone to just like, I should media kid or you know something something like that, then let me know down in the comments section by the way y’all, I love when you when you guys comment on my articles, because I love responding to Articles and like you me, responding to comments and just having that conversation, but yes with that being said, I’m done I’m rambling now, so I need to go, I’m actually really hungry and I’m starting to get hangry but yeah.

Make $123.46 Per Day On Google (Make FREE Money Online!)

What’s going on Pam Eric Ellis here, CEO Bulls, academy.Com, and in this article I’m going to be showing you guys how to make Google money so, let’s step behind the laptop boom, we’re behind the laptop like, as I stated before, I’m going to show you three simple Steps of how to make money on Google find a product to sell number two: how to use Google to actually sell it number three: how to earn money right.

So, let’s basically get to the first part, which is basically finding a product to sell. Now, first and foremost, you want to go ahead and sell a product service, the SAP software-as-a-service physical products, digital products. I would highly recommend digital products. Why? Because, as far as the service, you don’t want to work for people as far as physical products, you don’t want the cost of goods to eat into your margins, and digital products basically have higher margins yep.

That’s where you see it now, as far as creating your product or finding a product to sell uh, someone else has created which one’s easier, finding a product that somebody else has created. So what you can do is something called affiliate marketing, which is when you get paid to refer other people’s products. So, let’s just say, Netflix decided they wanted to create a referral or a refer-a-friend program, and every time you decided to actually refer Netflix for $ 11.

A month they decided to pay you a 50 % Commission. That means every time you generate, you told somebody about Netflix and they bought it through your unique affiliate link you’d be earning five dollars every single month right. So there’s programs or there’s networks out there online that you can actually find products that you can actually sew. So we’re going to go to show you right here: they’re called affiliate network, so the top three for digital products right now is called a Clickbank com, jvzoo.

Com and then max bouncy comm. So all three of these platforms are places that you can find in have they made offers now, let’s just go to clickbank and then what we’re going to do is we’re going to go to the affiliate marketplace now. Obviously, you have to create an account to be able to promote these products, but the cool thing is that the different categories where you can find products right. So what I recommend, when picking your niche is finding something that you are interested in right, something that you’re passionate about about what you love to do? What you love to talk about, what you, what type of movies, do you read? What’s that what books do you read if it just everything you do revolves around at all, then you should pick the niche of golf.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=j3zeA50Wsts

If everything you do Reserve revolves around whatever that topic is, you should pick it, especially if it solves the problem. So, let’s just say it is gone. What I can do is for sports, let’s just say I’m just an avid golfer. I just love golf and you want to go to find out products. For example, the stress free golf swing. This is a product that I can actually promote. I can earn 75 percent commissions.

The average sale is about $ 39, so you paid about $ 30 per cell. So if I get three so for this one hundred dollars per day and you’re probably well, how does where does Google come in? Stick with me, so what we’re going to do is we’re going to go to actually promote it. I’m not logged in to my equipment. Account right now, but what would happen is you’d have an account nickname and then you generate an OP link.

There’s going to give you a unique affiliate link. So that way, every time you send people to that link and he sell is generated, they know to pay. You as the affiliate, because it came from your link right, I’m going to say, check. We got we handled that one right. So the next step is. We need to go ahead and figure out how we’re going to go and use Google to how we’re going to use Google to actually sell it.

Now, there’s something called Google SEO. What does that mean search engine optimization, so what you’re doing is you’re creating content? That is optimized to be ranked on Google, so there’s two types of cuts that gives you ranked on Google number one is blog, so if you create like a wordpress blog just to show you guys an example how to improve my golf swing right as you want To go to use Google and you want to start creating content around these keywords that your affiliate product is related to people who are would be interested in buying that affiliate product of a stress.

The free golf swing, we’re probably searching online. How to improve my golf swing, so I’m going to create content around that keyword so, for example, how to improve my golf swing. What are you, what are the two things that you see right? What is the first thing that you see right, you see YouTube right. The second thing is: Google blogs, but what I’m going to be teach you guys how to do or not, teaching you, but basically recommending that you guys do is create a YouTube account guys.

Look. They rank first that over anything else right, because people would rather look at articles instead of reading content. So some creating a niche made YouTube account around the specific niche. That’s why you want to pick something that you’re passionate you love so that way, when you start creating content, you can Rick write, content or great content on these specific keywords and then, let’s just say, I go to this or actually bump it I’ll just go to The first one now what you’re going to do is eight minutes is the eight minute article so how to improve your golf swing now? What I’m going to do now is, if you look here, he says: click free article, so that in the description is where you would insert your affiliate link so you’re going to have content.

Eighty pursuing that content is going to be value and then, at the end of the article that you created that you ranked on Google because you created the keyword, so how did he rank this all goog, I’m going to show you guys? How do you rank rank that on Google, how to improve your golf swing is nd title: how to improve your golf swing is in the first line of the description. That’s how you want to rank on Google and then, if we go to, I don’t have the soft right now, but I promise you about the building is tags.

His article tag says how to improve his golf swing. Now with that being said, the questions does actually work. Well, if I go to move when I type in how to create a Facebook ad or affiliate marketing, if you look here YouTube Eric Ellis, if I click this article, so if I scroll down a little bit, how did I rank this article? I rank this article by having how to create a Facebook ad for affiliate marketing in the title, and then I have an hour ranked as V on Google by having it as the first line in the description, how to create a Facebook ad for affiliate marketing and Then, if you notice here, I have my links of my descriptions, which will redirect you to buy a billion links right, so I’m practicing what I’m preaching.

So what are the quick and simple and easy steps? Number one find a product right and number two is you’re. Going to use Google by creating YouTube content to rank right, so the way that you rank YouTube content is three simple steps: number one you go ahead and put the the keyword and time you put the keyword in the description and you put the keyword in B And the tags right, that’s how you go ahead and rank it and then you’re going to actually leverage that content to drive traffic to your affiliate links and this step number three guys earn.

Commission you give me the festival, that’s how you make Google money in three easy steps: hey thanks! So much for reading. If you found this article helpful smash that, like button also be sure to subscribe and click that little vacation belt to be notified every time to drop some new heat. Lastly, if you found yourself thinking, hey I’m going to learn from this guy, then click the link in the description to grab access to my new book, where you can grab it at Eric’s new book com.

How to Get Unlimited real followers on Instagram 2018

Here with Eric Ellis jr. Calm the message article I’m going to show you how to actually get unlimited rail followers on instagram and sort out what you can freakin explosion following explode, the amount of likes that you’re getting and become freaking and Stuff famous show you the exact methods that I’m using currently today to amass a following of twelve thousand followers on my personal Instagram and how you can get the same.

Damn results cue, the intro alright guys, so I can show you the boring way of getting real freaking followers on Instagram right. If you notice they have 12,000 followers and basically real engagement right. I’m not one of those fake accounts who has 12,000 followers and is getting like 20 to 30 freaking likes last post 444 and that’s glad just posted it’s probably going to get around 600. This one 685.

759. 707. 639. 615 average poles getting about 600 likes right. So, having said right, how can you get real engagement, real followers right now? Will those people, if you’re going to come across articles people, are going to tell you you need to basically do hashtags, which I’ve got articles doing that right, not not trying to be hypocritical, but that’s the truth right. There’s a slow and grueling way which any other day um.

Yes, you can go that route right. What if I told you, there was a much quicker route so, where you didn’t have to worry about the hashtags. You didn’t have to worry about basically posting three times per day, like a lot of these people say because at the end of the day, right, I’m showing you guys my profile, um, there’s no way in hell based off of the content that I’m producing, that I Can produce three post per freaking day right, I’m not a media company.

Now. What I do do is, I make sure I do daily stories on my Instagram, but as far as content I can produce I like to produce quality over quantity right. You notice. Ours is quantity or quality. Rather so it’s hard for me to keep on posting. I was engaging with people now that extra bull crap right, so I’m going to go ahead and give you guys a shortcut. What I use is something called stem social right.

Stem social is basically a Instagram growth, hacking software, since I’ve used it. Yes, in the previous articles that I’ve created a long Instagram right, I have a master following of ten thousand nine hundred and thirty-four almost 11,000 people, basically doing these methods right, hashtags, connecting with people commenting on their pose right and gay with other people right now loneliness. You want to understand is that first inform of Raven show you guys about the software.

I teased a little bit right, but Instagram. The only way to win is that you have to understand what this is. This is a social media platform, keyword, social. So with that being said, the only way that you’re going to have a winning shot is by socializing with other people and connect with other people right to where Instagram was brought up on Facebook Mark Zuckerberg and basically, what they did is they put it on rhythm? In place, which really kind of smashed the little guys and it’s kind of like the whole saying the rich get richer and the poor you poor right home.

With this case, the incident famous get more famous and the little guys have no shot until freaking out. Right now, basically, the people have a massive following they’re, going to naturally get engagement, they’re naturally going to get comments. Why is just the snowball effect they have so much freaking following and people are always going to share their stuff comment on their post. There are new prisons that as an authority, so naturally they’re going to continue to grow.

That’s just how it works. Now, how do we get there? How do we have a fighting chance when we’re literally like middle school, whether it’s 300 photos 500 followers? How do we even crack a thousand? How do you correct five thousand? How do you crack the most infamous ten thousand to where you have two digits instead of before right, that looks so cool people love seeing that right. So we have so many followers that they can’t even have the full number out.

So what I use I’m going to show you guys a shortcut instead of going a long, grueling route. The shortcut is stem social right now, I’ll leave a link down below right right. Access to the link in the description you’ll be able to get access to the software and you’ll literally be able to actually try it out for free and basically eleven hundred and four dollars right since and 20 days 20 days, I’ve gained a thousand followers constant photos In twenty days, most people don’t even have a thousand followers again than a twenty days.

I’m projected to came twenty five hundred followers in thirty days, so let’s do the math really quick. Twenty five hundred followers! That’s about 6,000! That’s about 30,000 per year 30,000 per year! Now here’s the thing once I start if I gain 30,000 with them in this next 12 month, it’s going to be more about 50,000 and they’re real colors. Why? Because the snowball effect more colors we have from where people are running games with the content.

More people are following you with the better your content. More people are just going to get get to know who you are right now, at the end of the day right. What does the software do if you notice here follow a stream right? What I’m doing is it’s currently following people, but then a specific demographic. So what I did is I found Instagram right. I told it. What do you first start off as a free account right is going to say Gary B right, depending on the type of, depending on what type of brain you’re trying to build right.

He can pick people that she wants to. Basically, the people were following them. Right he’s going to follow them and unfollow them. It sounds great, but it is what it is right, so we’re literally they’re going to go ahead and reach out, so these followers they’re going to follow them right. So right now, I’m at 1900. My threshold is 4,000. I don’t want to have over 4,000 followers so as soon as it reaches 4,000 people and have five accounts like this, like Gary Vee Grant, Cardone Patrick met David, etc, etc.

Now, depending on what your niche is depending over the type of following your shot, a pill which do is you find these five accounts right with hash, which has a bigger following and then what this is going to do assembly follow them right. It’s going to cause the people who are following it and then is going to unfollow them at your threshold, whether it’s 2000 followers, 3000 followers or you’re following those amount of people, so to start unfollow people.

So look. What is doing is like what I said earlier. Social media is socially connected with other people on following them. That’s the first thing is engaging with. Others is going to increase the amount of visitors who actually come across your page and when it when they come across your page. As long as you have quality content right, they are going to smash that damn follow line right, quality content Trump’s all so that being said, um that’s one way that they’re going to go to increase your engagement right.

The way you build a following is simply by increasing the amount of visitors or the amount of traffic that comes across your page, having quality content, and once you have quality content, people are going to hit that follow button right, that’s the magic formula! Now, how are other ways that we’re going to go ahead and do that right? So if you notice here, the ratio follow that ratio. What I love about this app is that it gives you statistics right, so my father, that ratio is basically for every hundred people that this app follows.

Literally twenty one people follow me back, so every 500 people every 500 people that this thing follows. I get a bunch of followers right, so does 5,000 followers and I got a thousand followers back right. Based off these statistics, hey I’m getting really engagement. It’s increasing my engagement. I was getting about 500 likes per post. Now I’m getting about 600 likes purple, since I do this app because I’m increasing the traffic, the visitors on my page, that’s not getting more engagement, more engagement, you get you’re, also going to start getting on things called the explore page.

The explore page is when you organically, get post to people who do not follow you and they’re going to. Basically, if you have a quality post, they’re going to click it and it’s going to redirect to your page and then if you have quality content, as stated before, they’re going to go in and Pali right. So it’s like the snowball effect. It’s like it’s like hacking. The system and also what they do is they engage.

So they comment on other people’s posts like on Gary Vee or other people within this specific niche people within your area, right they’re, going to comment on posts or like people’s posts, so they’re just engaging. This is a social network they’re going to socialize with people in engagement before you, so that way you have to spend hours upon hours on your time. Basically, none of those are following and focusing on that you can focus on things that will be more important to your life.

Do you care about your life and you have a life, but you still want to grow your following this app this for use, custom, social, throwing me a link in the description. We can create an account for free and basically try it out and see if you like, that’s what I did right. I, like I’m, not pimp this a little cool, I’m going to try it once I tried it and I saw the results I said you’ve got to be kidding me cuz, I’m buying this right.

That’s not least, one thing that I like is the new follower diem. You can actually create a direct message for our your new followers he’s some somebody follows you. It triggers a direct message now there he says them. You could send a welcome they. If you’re selling a product, you could tell them to request more information on what you’re offering because somebody’s trying to connect with somebody through the report, you can say thank you for following appreciating somebody you’re going to redirect them to a link.

Whatever you want to do. Is freaking amazing right, so not only by using this me Percy. I did this not only to grow my my brand, my falling, but also my income now. Yes, I will leave a link in the description so that way you can get access to this file. Also give you access to a free, ebook called affiliates playbook that literally teach you once you start building the following: how to actually make money with that funnel on histogram right.

It’s free ebook teach you how to earn a passive and call income online very quickly, but affiliates playbook, comport click, the additional linked and the description. It’s going to say free book, some very simple click; the link grab, access to the book and start making money with your area. Now with that being said, my friend smash that, like button smash that subscribe buttons, so that way you can join the family.
