How to create Facebook Ads for musicians & artists (LIVE SCREEN STEP-BY-STEP)

My name is Cass. I run digital marketing campaigns in the e-commerce in the entertainment field, mostly and really stay in the service business. All over. My goal is to literally show people in each individual sector how to run ads, my speciality being that I am also music, present professional running a music management company. How artists actually run Facebook ads on the actual content when they turn promote it? If they got release albums single article whatever I will be going through the step by steps that I actually do my creation process, how actually, where I get my data from, why do I do this objective? What I do this, why do that? You listen and see everything.

There is nothing on YouTube at the moment. That’s a seek aid for artists. I thought you know why not let me offer some value and give somebody some give. Oh, you guys, should I say some insight onto how you do it right now on the screen, when my clients she’s an amazing R & B singer, I’m going to be using her account as a demo just to show you how the process would work when you Set yours up: if you don’t actually have a facebook business manager, I can’t if you use some boost the boost button order or the promote button on Instagram or Facebook.

Please guys stop its. This is the only way I advise anybody to do Facebook ads, because the reason why, when you’re doing the boost and you’re not getting all the data back as much as you can on this – and they are guys everything 80 % of my ads. Unless I’m testing that new interests are only going to be data-driven, they’re only going to be stuff that, as she works I’ll, never ever do ad, just picking something out the sky and being okay, this should work.

No, we don’t do that, so one be showing you. It’s how you can use real data you might would have received. You do have Spotify analytics where you can see all your list so for that or even if you can do from Instagram anyway, where you actually have there, we wait your top see at least your top five places. So what you want to do this is the I’m home screen. So at the moment we’ve only spent in for today six pound, twenty nine and look at the different we’ve reached three point: seven: nine we’ve reached half a million people and nineteen thousand first engagements.

This is obviously a bit more advanced, an aspect of using things that look like audiences, where I might make another article of, but this is how cost-effective one and face, whereas can actually be so what you want to do when that’s all sword and if you haven’t Created a business I believe I said earlier, I haven’t created face of business manager, account I’ll put like a link in the bio where you can go through the step by step.

Easy process just obviously create one and stuff like that, but ok we first run do is once asked you say assume: your accounts are sorted. What you want to do, let’s go to the top, which says business manager or these these three menu dashes. You want to click that normally this whole menu isn’t open. You want to click all tools and then you click Add manager. I’ve already opened up on this tab here, so it’s ready for you guys, but obviously, at the moment we have.

We have one active ad received 259 likes and look how much we spent guys. You’ve only spent one pound 61 out 15. So this is obviously how cost-effective running ads actually is. If you know what you’re doing I’m going to give you the basis of how I learned and how I started first, one is successful ads. Well, yes, free things, you consider this campaigns, there’s ad sets and then there’s ads. Let me close this.

You don’t need this anymore campaigns ad sets and then ads campaigns is basically what your objective is that what you want achieved you want to achieve more engagement, you wan na achieve more article views. You want to achieve traffic to a certain website or any of those type of things. There’s all these different ways how you can use different campaigns ad sets is literally the audience so, where they’re, from the interests, their age and also that includes the budget.

How much you wan na spend and also includes I’m the placement, so it’s on Facebook feed is on instagram. Feed is an interim story. There are some things in AD itself, pretty self-explanatory. What the audience actually sees. So first, we want to do. Let’s just assume that you have nothing here, so there’s no I’d say whatsoever. You want a quick click. Sorry create now takes you to this screen. This screen shows you.

What actual object is you wan na do imma keep this very, very traumatic. If you did not that long as you guys can crack on as quick as possible, but for artists for me anything to do music, you know stuff, I would say huge traffic engagement. Article views maybe lead generations. It depends on that to campaign, but everything else. I’ve. Never personally use for music artists. I wouldn’t this is a bit too broad brand awareness and reach, but you want to be a bit more specific recording that you actually want people to do, because Facebook has a whole lot of day and how people behave on their platform.

So on this actual campaign, I wan na use engagement, use engagement because it’s one of the cheapest objectives and also you get two for two for both, let’s say yeah teen, for once. Let’s say I am. I want, from a music article, provide the article views then Montori the people that will see it. People that overtly read articles on Facebook, engagement, the fact that they reading it and further they’re commenting and liking.

I get that extra blast prosperous. So what you want to do now is engagements click. You scroll down, change the post engagement class on the add with the previous added prior when it was on Facebook like we want to do, is name it. So let’s say the record is called the records cold winter. Why do I always leave the name of the objective? Next, I never just leave it just winter black, because later on, when I have lows different ads, I know echo.

This is the winner engagement. This might be the winner article views. This might be because you wan na get a habit of testing different stuff just to see what really works of you. So then there you go when I engagement click continue, and this is the ad set. This is the actual audience now, like I said before, we work on stuff that we have data for one and a or driven ad is probably your your safest way, not to waste your money, because it’s there that you have received evil from Spotify or from Instagram And eggs or Facebook analytics whatever Oh Google Analytics like all this stuff, is solely based on real data that you have obtained.

So what I’d say you guys can do? It’s called your Facebook, not Facebook, sorry, Spotify, analytics so see. This is a disease one. It’s the type of status at the moment last 28 days make sure it’s reason, don’t do it since the star, maybe seven days. It depends if you’ve had like a burst like a show normally 28 days, because you only the most recent time P. But I listen to music Beauty 2015. Some of people might have even not used, they might use tidal, they might use something else, so they might just they might not be your demographic anymore.

So keep a reason I wan na. Do you want to keep in consideration this part Mercedes gender, to show you the gender splits, and then it shows you that age? You want to keep that in mind for later on, and then you can see, see the location, Sochi, United States, UK, Germany, cetera cetera. So she all the monthly listeners, and then it shows you to see its cities now always guys what I person doing, advise you guys to do.

Make sure that you guys pick your top five to ten cities when you’re running ads reason. Why I do. That is because those are not only your most high listeners listeners, but it’s like if, let’s say how thick your speaking is, if Paris’s third part doesn’t work as well as I want, and let’s say, I’m doing top five, I can just go down like a cool. Take prayer self the ad set, then we do Los Angeles that doesn’t work then I use to them then so on and so forth, because you don’t know, you will never ever know how your fans or your audiences are going to respond to something.

So you always want to make sure that you’re a step ahead of them doing that, knowing that before you spent your money where it should actually be going. So what I do I let you just drag this and copy. Let’s see top five, it’s top six early into it. Why not and then simply copy paste, that’s command C or control C. I believe I’m using this in ages, but I believe that is, but I’m going to go to spreadsheet or already copy.

This prior aren’t ready for the article, but you want to go to a spreadsheet. You want to go to a Google Doc or any type of copy and paste notepad or ever you use unless you just copy and paste, and then we want to do you want to highlight the city. So sorry, this one here, sorry sirens. Distract me apologize, I’m going to copy your top six and go straight back onto Facebook and then what you wan na do before you add it onto here guys you want to change this change.

The people who live in this location like another little nugget, you don’t. I leave it evarin in this location, because everyone’s location would be way too broad. An aspect of every location could not necessarily mean they’re from London. They could be people that was visit. You know people that was just on just stopping by for like a day or two. You want to make sure there’s people that live in this location.

Let’s take a United Kingdom, then this copy that in Sydney so Papa, then you wan na do select cities, towns, match vacations double-check the same place. So it’s a pod, yeah yeah good at six locations and they go. We have a location, so our top six places was mentioned before about look-alike and custom. Oh nice is this: where you do might do another article depending on the response, and if people need a bit more help, that’s a bit more advanced, but let’s just keep it very basics.

You guys can get get yourself a very good introduction to how to do it: okay, cool so on the right issue, issue the potential reach, how many people actually are in this set audience and show you the estimate. These just estimate based on Facebook, state and stuff, like that, what you want to do is here is the age you wan na go back onto Spotfire scroll back up to age, which is here and then see where the highest ages.

So it looks like it’s from 18 to about 34, so you want to do. It should go back to Facebook and do 18 to take for them, but they’re driven ads always work the best it’s. Our 55 million has gone down to 28 million, so we wan na. Do you wan na progressively carry your audience to the they already have and then mix. It depends on actual record kinda feeling right making a record that you only want to share women or, if you’re, like I said, I swear your music only case that women or only case the guys or whatever, then obviously it’s up to you cuz.

I don’t know what music you guys are making, but you do also do have the option. I’m languages I would leave, because music is very, very it’s. A universal language mean itself if you’re like trying to sell a certain product or your. You need people that you to read that your caption or whatever, then you might want to change that, but I would leave that blank and then here you go. The talk in this is where you can pick what type of interests you want to put this ad.

In front of Maron addicts been R & B singer, I’m obviously going to go with R & B acts, so she has 1.6 million users on Facebook and Instagram. So I click on that and on my 28 milk goes down to this. Obviously, some go down to that. Whilst we add more people, you’ll see it obviously rise up, but you can do if you don’t know what or who else to pick. But you just wanted more of idea, click suggestions.

It shows you other things, so I would put 9 contemporary R & B, because it’s pretty large demographic, pretty large group and also it fits it crosses over a lot. And then, if I was to pick, I don’t know, let’s do TLC mara makes more like old-school nostalgic sounding music. So let’s do nice stuff. Let’s add our show and you don’t to do you don’t have you don’t pick too big of audience guys because you don’t want your budget to it depends what you do if you’re testing then bigger the better, if you’re being specific with Deyo you, don’t it too Big in my opinion anyway – and let’s add one more so these are your groups – Wow hope you can do another little nugget, let’s say, for example, I want to put this ad in front of people that use Spotify.

I’m running a stream now Spotify you’re, going to put it down in front of people that use diesel Apple musical title because they didn’t use the platform. So she uses its you system what you want to do, click narrow audience and then type Spotify say then. Now my 11 million has gone under 4.2 million, which is a good number to leave what you want to do now. The reason why I did that sorry is: I’m now telling Facebook Facebook put my ID in front of people that I can temporarily Kalani lure new TLC uh sure, but they must 100 % they must match.

They must like Spotify as well. So obviously, people that use, but if I was obviously on like Spotify, Oh people, that that are familiar with Spotfire they’re, going to not be like hesitant to like, like a wedding and stuff like that. Okay, so that’s your actual targeting also it what you want to do. You guys is. Maybe, when you have you start a new account that this right here, it’s going to be ticked, please guys on ticking Cohen, is ticked and make sure audience this big.

That’s basically Facebook’s base. This tech basically means okay. These are my five interests, but if you think you can find me, cheap engagement do so. That being said, that means your ad can be prefer in front of people that doesn’t really fit the actual sound or your article ever condition promote so make sure that’s an ticked. You can either save audience, say audience it’s great when it comes to like dealing with customized audiences LinkedIn with Facebook, pixels and and look like audiences.

So that’s another article, because it’s pretty extensive but I’ll leave that for now! Oh, you can save it. If you on a future use it of you wan na edit later on, like you know, let me try one of just men. I want to just women, see what that’s better, because, like I said earlier, you never know how your demographic is going to respond to your to your records. Okay, just scrolling down Oh Mac placements, edit placements – I always edit placements reason being if I my content is formatted for let’s say in it’s a story.

I don’t want to have like a square article on Instagram, because if I scroll down to in the story here you see the example they give you it’s obviously square. It’s not square. Sorry beg your pardon rectangle. You don’t want to have one that starts here and it’s all black you usually send up being messy. It’s. What you want to do is make sure that, whichever your actual ad looks like the size, every the resolution fits on the said platform.

So, let’s just keep it very, very basic: let’s just do Instagram feed I’m taking everything and I my 4.2 should drop so it’s down to 4.9, because obviously that was including Facebook users only server software face were has so we’re only doing on insta story in so Feed sorry scroll down mobile devices, of course, cuz it’s going to be nany my about based optimize, so post engagement. That means your ad is only going to be in front of its can be automatic.

People are going to like and comment and stuff like that. Impressions is more so how many times a screen. You don’t need that and then tell unique reach. I would leave that alone. Only honestly, if it’s an engagement, I just keep on posting giesemann. Realistically, the only things you change here is just two things, your budget and if, when it’s going to start off you’re leaving on an on for continuous time, so me personally, I like using lifetime budgets to be some.

I like using lifetime budgets, because if I try and system you know, I want to spend 300 a month. If I forget so, whatever reason turn it off and I leave on the daily Facebook isn’t going to tell me that hey your ad still on by the way so during lifetime budget is a very, very easy way to introduce yourself to just understanding how you should Budget your ads in the future, because, obviously it doesn’t matter if you’re, if you have a lot of money or if you don’t have a lot of money, you kind of s as much.

You do have a lot to invest in. You want to see how much certain amount of money it’s going to take you we’re going to do an ads, so, let’s just say, for example, clients use 200. Obviously, that’s going to drop because the more ad spend the more the bigger isn’t. Let’s say if I was do something: like 2 grand LC jumps up so yeah, let’s keep at 200 and guys another little nugget how office you want to make sure you guys leave with some from my value and little tricks always always always always always start your Ad from 12 a.

M. To 6 a reason why I say that it’s because, let’s say you’re doing a daily budget or 5-pound and you start to add 5 p.M. You’ve only got a couple of hours until the next day. So what face was going to do is going to try to push it out as much as you possibly can. Having in mind that every single time you know I don’t face work, there is going to be a learning process where Facebook needs to learn.

This needs to learn: okay, all these people and these demographics with these age or these genders, and these interests in these a good essay by our I’ve seen something longer. It depends on the actual audience, but I’d say always always do it in a night, because if you are running it, I live at 12 a.M. By the time people wake up. It’s only going to be optimized, your audience is already going to be learned and what type of stuff.

So let’s say I run it Saturday, 12 a.M. So you have a full month worth of posts of marketing. We can do. You can run as a schedule. Just in case, if you’re trying to catch people at work or if, if it’s like something tailored to people in school or if you’re doing like a school, I don’t know there’s obviously different, actually, because why you’d wan na do that. Personally, I didn’t run at all times: don’t really ever mess around with that just leave it, as is I wouldn’t done a couple of times and it does exist successful, but that’s only for very specific campaigns.

So now that’s all done. You have 3.9 million users audience. Sorry, you click continue now another nugget guys, like I said I wan na make sure you guys leave us some form of value. This is very, very, very important, conscious enough how important this is, because I messed up big time when I first saw dad’s face, but gives you two options. You can either create an ad or create an existing post use existing post.

Sorry always always use an existing post. The reason why I say this is because there’s many ads I’ve gotten a quarter of a million on that you will never ever see on anybody’s feed, because I did a create ad. The only time that is actually only ever active is when IG turned on that. Your ad itself, so my earlier days, I thought oh yeah. Of course I have to create in that yeah. I’ve got some Trinity why? Why would that sound ludicrous if you use existing post all the social proof, all the views, all the comments or the likes or the share not necessary shares class, obviously facing these stuff will always be there.

If I have to add – and I get a hundred thousand – which I normally do – I get a hundred thousand views on article after that ad is finished. It’s still going to be there, it’s not going to disappear. If I decree ad, as soon as I turn off the ad, it’s gone, so I would say you could either do it through. Here you could add manager and you click where’s. The posts page place underneath it and you can schedule it and do that type of stuff, but why I’d say just organically poster how you post anything and then later on you, let you do this.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8FAvfvQofcc

Click on the Instagram account to make sure goes to this Instagram account. You select the post, you shouldn’t say Facebook page say Instagram. This is like a new update before whatever used to do that, it used to be like a drop-down menu. Click on add either way. Select post, where we doing this an Instagram. I believe this article. This is the article or has article right there and click continue.

Don’t happens. You see, obviously how it looks like on an insulin feed. Obviously, if you use more than one, it shows you more than one how it looks like you’re off you don’t have to add a caption, because the caption is default by whether you use prior then call to action call to action is literally where you want people To go to after they see that if they want to click on it with article views, you have like read more suffer that poor engagement, unfortunately engagement ads.

These are the only options they give you. I always just to learn more and then a comment, but what that’s our youtube link to this article is but let’s just type in YouTube: okay, the reason – and why would you want to keep that there? Oh? Why is she required? Because I know from somebody with that? An actual goal will be pointless if I was doing this ad and I wanted it to go YouTube to get more YouTube views.

If I wanted to also do Google AdWords, we saw see another ballgame, and so Google AdWords not your gig on YouTube, but then I want to do one on Facebook that sends people to youtube they subscribe. I couldn’t do it obviously learn more. I face a pixel. I will be doing a article on that because it’s super super important. The reason why I put a dive so calm, a little breakdown read your face. A pixel is my Facebook pixel, it’s a back encoding that you can literally copy and paste or code in.

If you are familiar with it, part of me, um I face a pixel is literally some code that facebook gives you that you can put in the back end of your website. What the Facebook pixel does is track people’s behavior. You can add individual custom pixels on on different pages like, for example, if one page, I have a show that I’m promoting and another page, I have a ap that I’m promoting another page. I have a competition, let’s say I think, he’s speaking I can put pics on each individual page and whilst people actually go on the actual page, the face of pizza will will knock down that this person went on it.

So you later, when I want something retargeting, I had some people that actually have engaged and about you paid attention to content or pay the things to a certain page on on the website. Then I can be talking them later on people hey and they’re not going to be. This is why sometimes you might be on a website. Let’s say something I was on Airbnb couple days ago, just looking around and then that’s, where being beat add a baby definitely uses facing pixels, because this little thing kid I have on my Google Chrome, it’s called a Facebook pixel helper.

You can download it from Google Chrome store where you literally any website go on. It tells me they have a pixel, not sound. Already cool I’ve got me under there. They are so regarding back to the actual tutorial. This is something that’s a bit more advanced because basic pixel ties into custom audiences that ties into look-alike audiences and that’s a whole nother realm, but this whole article that we’ve just sat in and all she works.

This is probably the easiest way that you guys can actually gain traction and getting real viewers, real engagement, real people that actually like your music to actually read music. Apart from that, I don’t think, there’s nothing else. Oh yeah! What you want to do. Click review make sure that you’ve named everything, because if you have more than one ad it could get confusing, because obviously Facebook doesn’t create separate names or separate ads and stuff like that, so you and EFC this cold winter.

It’s on the engagement, let’s say that’s my age group. I might be a forward, slash spot fine top six and then I might add, the actual interest might be like this and then he be like winter article and then ready click confirm mostly confirm this. I’m going to need, add, could the snow and I’d read it running, I’m only using the tutorial click confirm this will pop up okay, so this will pop up and then you’ll see it went to engagement interview, take some time for Facebook to actually accept it and Actually have a live, especially if you got a new account, so if you are, how do you have a new account? Give it like a good hour or two just so before? Yes, you would wan na do it because I see the cause in the actual ad set.

Let me quickly show you go back in here. I can pick obviously when yeah she’s going to start. So obviously, if you did prior, I say yes, I do. I run this hall at 9 p.M. And I finish it by 9:30. It was still land when I need to do it, so she give me some time prior but yeah guys. That’s literally how you do Facebook ads for musicians and bands. They know this was helpful. Let me know if you guys need any more tips them.

You know if you want more content regarding pixels, look-alike audiences and stuff like that. But again, Facebook is such an amazing platform to use because it’s so cost effective. Google AdWords is an amazing platform as well. I might do a article on that, but Google AdWords are a bit more premium. I think, basically, because of how vast their search engine is and what they actually know, but um yeah any questions.

Let me know comments below. Let me know if you would want to know anything specific, but yeah

Using Direct Response Marketing to Attract More Customers

But how is direct response? Marketing different than that Good question, So direct response marketing is different because direct marketing You’re, just talking directly to the client like an e-mail But direct response, marketing you’re doing something to elicit a specific response from Your potential client, So what are some examples of this Say? For instance, you have a article that you put on Instagram and you’re, telling people about what you’re offering a service a product, and you tell them.

I want you to call now. Yeah They have to take a specific response in order to take part of it. Gotcha So when handled the correct Way it can be very beneficial and bring about some interesting results For one it takes out. All the intermediaries, It’s just between you and your customer – You don’t have to have the middle man. Second, it’s pretty cost effective. You don’t have to have Mass market saturation with traditional marketing methods And then the third, it’s also Measurable and trackable: Okay, You can see your ROI and then also it adheres.

To some good old-school marketing methods – and it doesn’t go with some of these trends that are flighty Gotcha so would an example, be I do an Instagram post Specifically, for let’s say a new backpack that I just came out with and then I have a link and They go and they buy that Exactly so in crafting your Direct response, marketing there’s a couple elements: That you want to have, For instance, the proposal Rather than thinking hey buy my product.

You actually want to go into some details, Especially like trial Period what the person is going to sign up for answering a lot of the questions that a person may have Gotcha so part of this proposal? Is you want to create some urgency? You want to give them all the information and kind of lead them down the funnel. Why is this important What are the details and, at the very end, maybe This is a trial period.

I see this a lot with webinars or different online courses. You know it’s a limited time offer within the next three days. This is introductory price and the price goes up right, so you’re always kind of leading Them down that funnel and giving that sense of Wow this is important. This is what I need and I can’t wait. I need to buy this now. You want that response. You want to make that person feel like they can’t miss out.

So let’s say that I’m An online business coach I’ve just opened up my Online one-on-one coaching and I’m going to let my Subscribers know about this, So one way that I could do This is through a webinar and I’ll. This is the only place You’re going to find them, I’m never going to do a blog post about them. I’m never! You know. I’m Just really creating this, like you got ta, be there moment And for them to register. That would be the response that you want, Then, in the webinar at the end, I’m going to let them know Hey I’ve opened up my online coaching. I only have ten spots and you guys here. Reading this webinar are the first people you’re Going to get the first chance, so if you want to here’s, my Special introductory price, and after that, once I Hit those ten spots done So if my goal was to get ten new clients, this would be a great way.

To create that funnel, create that sense of urgency and hopefully be an effective way to Get those new clients. How to Optimize Images for Web and SEO

There are so many different ways you can go about that, but We’re actually going to cover how to actually optimize Your images for web and SEO here on The Journey All right fun facts with Nealey time. Did you know that images are The second most popular way to search after keywords.

No, but that makes sense I mean people buy with their eyes right Absolutely so leveraging The power of images with your content is crucial And that’s why, if you want to really make your business stand out and be noticed, you have to leverage the power Of images with your content, So there’s a lot that goes into it and I’m not going to do. All the work for you Come on. Please help a girl out All right I’ll at least help you I’ll.

Take you through your own website and show you at home a quick demo of how to optimize your Images for web and SEO Perfect: Let’s do it Cool compromise All right Alex. So, let’s Check out some of the images on your website, so where do You go and upload your images, So I normally go to where it says: media [, Nealey, ], Okay. So let’s Check out some of the content that you’ve uploaded All right, so all burgers, I dig it [ Alex ], Nothing wrong with that.

So let’s check out one of these images Cool, so I’m noticing some good things and noticing some not so good things. Let’s dive into this little bit: Okay, Alright! So we’ll start with a good Start with the positive right. So I do see here you have Some of what’s called “ Alternative Text.” Now, when Google or other Search engines crawl, your site, it can’t actually see This delicious burger, All it sees is that it says “ image”.

It doesn’t know what to do with that. That’s where that Alternative text comes in so this one, you put awesome Burgers, which is good, it’s descriptive, shows Exactly what it is, But I don’t see you have it On any of your other images, So you definitely want to Write some type of description of what that is, that way, it Gets indexed by search engines because, like we said before, it is the second most Popular way to search Okay, so every image gets Its own alternative text Yeah, and you really Want to describe it too, The more descriptive the better.

This also helps for Visually impaired people that are on your site, That have screen readers So if they’re on your site, It’ll have delicious burger it’ll. Have this or it’ll have that versus just going and saying Image is not very helpful. You got to keep the site successful to Moving on to title Your titles aren’t bad I’ve seen worse. I’ve seen The ones that are like screenshot dash this date dash blah again, that’s not really helpful.

You want to be as descriptive as possible. [ Alex ], Okay, [ Nealey ], So this one says Beef dash blur dash bread and then some numbers. How do I make it better? So we can probably just Get rid of the numbers Again, it has to be Descriptive of what the image is all about, so beef dash blur Dash bread that one’s fine You want to have those dashes in there,’cause that’s! What’s going to Show up in the address bar [ Alex ], Okay, It’s also something that Google kind of takes a look at as well, And then WordPress saves in real time.

So as soon as I clicked Off of that, it saves So you kind of have the same trend here. Blur dash buns dash burger those numbers just get rid of the numbers All right. The next thing, You really want to look at are the captions of the image themselves. The captions are one of the Most read parts of a website so having something there again, As descriptive as possible, Now, if you got this image elsewhere, usually caption has the source Of where you got that image, These are your photos and Since you’re Alex eats food, so it’s yours there and Then description same thing As descriptive as possible: The more descriptive, the more keywords you can Add to your website’s images, the better you are going! To be in search engines, [ Alex ].

So what would be a Good example for a caption here, literally just really describe it Juicy delicious burger. I can’t type today I really can’t type today With tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, And Dijon mustard sure, So it’s a pretty solid caption and I really cannot type today, Let’s add burger in there too, Oh yeah, maybe I guess Burger there. We go Nope, not there. Let’s put it right here, I’m struggling today, I’m just hungry.

It’s about that time. [ Alex ], ( laughs, ), A mustard burger Juicy, delicious mustard, all right All right now with this, it’s not really optimizing it for SEO. But it is optimizing it for your website itself. Now what you don’t want, To do is have an image: that’s like 5000, with by 5000 height, It’s way too large. My screen, Is definitely not that big? You want to keep them condensed If they are pretty big.

You Can resize them on a computer and re upload them? You can actually resize Directly in WordPress, by going to edit image, And then right over here, there’s new dimension. You Can literally just type say I want this to be 800 width, it will automatically Constrain it down to by 533 Click scale and then It’ll shrink my image, so it’s not as large. You also use the plugin WP Smush, smush And it’ll.

Basically do What exactly what that is it’s going to smush your Images so they’re not as large, because also the faster Your website is the better search results. You’ll come up with whether it’s text based search results or image, search results, Good to know perfect. Well, thanks, so much Nealey. Hopefully my great burger pictures will get seen a lot more now, Yeah Be sure to let us know. How To Start and GROW On YouTube in 2020

This is literally my second part filming this I mean a tik-tok article, we’re talking about YouTube and then we’re going to do Instagram so yeah, I’m literally making this article by the way in my head. So I hope I can say something valuable and hopefully it all sounds too stupid. So the first thing I’ve noticed about YouTube is even if you have tik-tok Instagram, I feel like YouTube is still that platform.

That’s like the most respected like, yes, you get have followers, but if you have subscribers, you immediately become like an idol and aquion. You are a legend. I feel like there’s more merit in YouTube, but you could just be someone posting articles on Tik Tok, but if you’re a youtuber, you have a lot more tangible merit and I feel like that should speak for itself. Maybe there’s something about YouTube that we don’t really know and as the algorithms changing and we have to keep up as marketers or creators.

This article isn’t explained what you need to know to simplify the YouTube algorithm. Let’s get started with the first thing you got, ta know, which is click-through rate. I have a little pun for you guys before we dive in dad. If you were a landing page, I’d give you a high click-through rate, get it well, that’s, essentially the higher to click-through rate, the more ideal and enticing you are to a viewer.

So your goal as a creator is to make sure that your thumbnails are eye-catching. I am Telling You so many people don’t understand the value of a thumbnail when you’re scrolling on YouTube training pages or you’re at the home you’re, going to see a title and a thumbnail before you even read the article you’re going to click on the thumbnail first. So, that’s why it’s super super important to have a very eye-catching thumbnail.

Now. Listen here right, maybe you’re, like hey Jade. I still don’t know how the algorithm works like. How does it like know what to push well Sally? It’s going to be okay. Listen here so say your article has to do with something about hair tutorial YouTube’s, going to share this article and push it on people’s home pages and feeds to see if people are interested in hair articles now, what’s super important is YouTube’s going to push it to 100 or 200 people right, but in order for YouTube to keep suggesting it to thousands and millions of people, you have to have a really good click-through rate right.

Cuz of YouTube sees that your click-through rate is like really low they’re, not going to keep pushing it. You haven’t proved to them that in the first 100 people say 50 people click on it right. So that’s why it’s super important to have really beautiful thumbnails, which I’ll go into in a little bit, but that’s the importance of the click-through rate. Now, if you’re asking what’s a healthy CTR, we just click the rate, I would say it’s around 15 to 20 percent.

Now I’ll be honest, it’s actually really freaking difficult. Most of my articles on my blog have around like a 5 percent click-through rate. It’s not easy. The reason why it’s actually really hard is because YouTube doesn’t know who to suggest it to in the beginning. So, for example, say you’re having a haircut article YouTube the algorithm. It’s not smart enough to push it to like hairstylist. Maybe they actively push it to gamers and because of that gamers like don’t want to click on the article.

So sometimes it’s not your fault, but sometimes it could be your fault. So one of the most important ways you can look at your thumbnail to see if it’s a clear message coming across if your thumbnail doesn’t have clear text, if you can’t see a face, YouTube is not smart enough to know where to push it so make sure You guys use keywords and your visuals are really on point so, for example, here’s a thumbnail that maybe wouldn’t do so well, because it’s not really easy to read and there’s just too much going on.

However, this thumbnail has my face really clear and a few words to tell YouTube to push it to people that maybe like hair articles right, because I have a picture of my hair for and after so it’s super important to realize. That has to have a clear, concise message and your face needs to be in it. It’s kind of weird, but I find that YouTube doesn’t like it. When there’s more than two faces like I had a article with five people in it and literally quickly rate plummeted to 5 %, which is actually really bad when you think about it, the minute I changed to two or one face, it really helped so just feel Very clear and your message and the text is super important.

I just quickly have to add the reason why I’ve learned so much about thumbnails has to be for my friend. Orion is a youtuber. He has two million subscribers, but he’s just also a such a good friend of mine that, like I love him to death, he’s super smart and strategic with thumbnails. I’ve literally seen him edit thumbnails for hours just for a single image. So you know he’s just super super detail-oriented and he knows what he’s doing added some shadow, and this is the real photo.

So I cut him out of here and made him look like he was reaching in the car. I think a recent article of his had like 7 million views in two weeks, which is insane, but I actually am happy to say that Ryan is speaking at my event called the green room. The green room is a conference in Los Angeles. This event literally means the world to me, as you can see, like Ryan has helped me also. All my friends who are speaking has helped each other and, like I really wanted to recreate this like support circle in this event.

So if you guys want to ask Ryan about any questions, my thumbnails, he will be speaking if you guys want to grab a in-person ticket for the event it’s 30 % off, but we also have virtual tickets. So if you can’t come to LA, don’t worry, grab your tickets, but it’s ending in two weeks, so go grab it. If you haven’t already – and I can’t wait to meet you guys, let’s go back in today’s article now, once you figure out a really really eye-catching a thumbnail and really good a title, you need to make the article readable and hopefully have people stay as long as Possible so then we’re coming into what we call read time.

I’d say: click-through rate, it’s a little bit more important than wash time, because if people don’t click on your article, then they’re not going to read it but read. Time is just as crucial right, similar to what I said before. If YouTube sees that people are staying for a long amount of time, they’re most likely going to push it to more and more people. A really healthy, read time is around forty to fifty percent.

Now, I’ll be honest again, it is really hard to do that too. You have to be a really good storyteller. You have to keep people engaged if you guys would like to see a whole article about storytelling and creating and engaging a article. Let me know – and I can break it down in the future, but my main summary to make fairly high read time. Content is a really good, beginning middle and end. You want to basically make sure to throughout the article people know why I need to stay to the very end.

Is there a really big problem? You’re solving? Are you making the viewer feel like they’re part of the story right so whether you make tutorials vlogs mixture, you ask yourself like. Why are people staying to the very very end, and once you understand that, then you can create content and put footage that makes sure that it supports that story. So I’ll give you guys an example. This article right here has a read time of 25 percent and the reason why I was so bad and not a really healthy, read time was because I was literally talking for the first three minutes about something completely irrelevant people clicked off.

They didn’t give a. However, this article, that has a read time around 45 percent, was straight to the point I drove right in and I made sure I gave the audience value as soon as possible. So, honestly, you can learn anything about read time, just shut the up get straight to the point, and then you might have a better chance of having a higher beginning and end read time. So now I probably like okay J.

That seems like a lot of data. A lot of analytics, how do I get started as a beginning, youtuber now we’re starting with zero views and zero subscribers, I’m telling you none of this information will be actually helpful because you need to fail and try a lot I personally have made over. I would say, like 400 to 500 articles in my EGIS career, and I definitely had really articles, I mean first 100 articles were super super bad.

So if I can give any recommendation in my main takeaway to anyone who maybe is still confused seriously, just make a lot of articles make a hundred articles that are mediocre, not the best and then reflect and look at the data and see what you can take From it, I think too many people want to optimize too early and I’ll be honest. This article is actually not helpful at all. If you don’t even have a article, so my message to you guys is to go out there make a youtube article, it’s okay! If it sucks it’s okay, if you don’t have a good read time, you can always go back and reiterate, and I believe all success is learning from your mistakes, so don’t be afraid to fall on your face a few times and learn from that.

So with that being said, I want to shout out to the comment winner, the supposed to be B to the next. So if you want to be the next commoner all the going to do, is this comment below, and I will pick one of you guys to be shown in the next article, because I have another third part, which is how to grow on Instagram. I feel like I’m on this, like caffeine high, so make sure you guys read part 3. If you guys are interested.

Thank you guys for reading and I’ll see you guys in the next one.

HOW TO BUILD YOUR PERSONAL BRAND ON SOCIAL MEDIA – Marketing Tips for Businesses at a Mastermind

Soho Soho college basketball, hey Kelly, Garcia. We need an elevator we go. Insanity is Kelly here. Oh I’ve been telling you guys it’s my birthday, it’s that right yeah. I expect this to be a phenomenal conversation exploration in terms of what we’ve all learned together and how we can be supporting each other and really leveling up our game in our life and in our work in our communities and our families.

I didn’t even know I was supposed to talk about personal branding. No, I’m kidding, I’m teasing you so hello, everyone, I’m Brian, I’m very grateful to be here. Thank you to Kelly for organizing these amazing group of people. I basically spend all of my time thinking about branding and thinking about how we can you know. I have several different thesis, — iz, that I try to live my life by, and I do want to make this as interactive as possible, but I’ll just take him way up.

You know in terms of macro thinking, I think that we’re living in the best time to be alive as a human being, and I think that yeah we have things that are not going so well in the US and in the world. But if you think about 50 years ago or 100 years ago, the things that our great-grandparents were dealing with the Black Plague, you know starvation. I think that things are really really improving and I think that we as humans are good.

I mean we have the capacity every single day to hurt each other and at large we don’t, and so you know, my macro thesis is like. I think that we are great people and I think that we have are living in a very exciting opportunity with the technology age that we live in, and I think that creating a personal brand, if you want it, is the smartest self investment that you can make And so you know I work with.

I have a branding company I started at six years ago. We work with some of the biggest brands in the world Intel salesforce.Com, KPMG you’re, not European United Nations, as well as smaller companies startups entrepreneurs. Actually, one of my favorite clients is in the room right now Time Inc, which is a incredible biotech company traded on the Nasdaq solving Stage. Four pancreatic cancer in a non-toxic way.

And I think that you know all of us whether it’s our company or organization or our law firm or our book, or are just story of selfless giving thing. We all have a story to share, and I think that what’s exciting for me about that is you can actually monetize that now you know, and in the past it was either. You chose between working, a crappy job at the bank that you didn’t really like to make eighty five thousand dollars a year to pay for the apartment in the to kids school, and you were basically at a three or four out of ten happiness scale, because the Alternative was do what I love and don’t make any money.

I think it’s flipped, I think now it’s like you actually have a much much much better chance of making a lot of money doing what you love, because the variable that no one really thinks about is yeah. You have to the skill and the talent, but the thing that separates you and I is if we’re basically the same amount of talent and you love it you’re going to spend 18 hours a day doing it, I’m going to spend nine and you’re going to win And you should win, and so the variable is the time that we put into it right, and so that’s that’s how I think about why I care so much about branding.

Everyone has a story to tell whether you’re solving you know the most horrific disease or whether you’re you know trying to sell a pen. You know why and I’m fascinated with the why behind the story – and so I would actually be very curious since in the in the sake of interactivity, for this for this group to know if you have a personal brand, if you want a personal brand and what Kind of frustrations or questions or concerns do you have.

Maybe you want to sell more books right yeah? So what can like? How does that look? Maybe you want to get more speaking like we have a chance to just talk for a minute cuz. You know you wouldn’t stop talking to Thomas, but maybe you want to. Maybe you want more speaking engagements. Maybe you want your personal brand to be more aligned with you know, as known as an international speaker, that’s kind of that’s what I’m hoping to gather from you guys and gals like.

Where are you? What do you want, but I think it’s: how do i? How do I present myself to the world in a way that’s consistent with how I actually want to be spending my time right? If it’s, if it’s the purse, if it’s the professional brand, then it’s? How do I present myself in a way that attracts the people that I want to buy my stuff or attracts people that I want to pay attention to what I’m offering? Maybe I’m not selling anything right now? Maybe I’m offering free clinical trials for a treatment.

You know, and I want to spend, send more people there or maybe it’s the opposite. Maybe it’s listen. I have a job and kind of like you know have it. I have a job in Ernst & Young, I’m a senior executive Alva, but I would also love to do more of this stuff. I’d also love to do more speaking. I would like to do more empowering the youth. How do I do that or you know, maybe not even how do I do that, but that’s where I’m at and then what I’d love to do is kind of context that, where you’re at and then maybe offer some tips, that I’ve been able to see that, Where they work for clients and individual influencers and cultural influencers and brands, so is that helpful if tomorrow woke up and all my financial needs were like met, I’m good for the next 20 30 40 50 years? How would I spend my days? What would I be doing, Who am I you know, and so in with that you we can start to really start thinking about.

Okay, then, to your point, Howard, how can I start to spend? How can I actually, if I had all the money in the world, how would I spend my days and then that’s step, one which is easy and then step two which is hard, which is why 99 % of the world doesn’t actually do this is now it’s Time to meet for me to actually start filling my days like that, it’s a very different thing right. So why don’t we just go around the room, really quick and just kind of like tell me where you’re at with that, and then I do want to do like if you have practical questions that you’re in your mind and that can kind of shape the way That I talked about this and now can you do what you want to do, not quite love and I’ll stay with it, even when I move to another job? Okay, so it’s almost like you want to create you like the way that I’m looking this is you want to basically create a personal brand for yourself that will lead you into that next opportunity.

So you have an opportunity to create a personal brand. You can basically create your own job right now, while you have the other job quietly on the side, that’s going to look almost exactly like what you want to have next. That would be my that’s like my quick take on what you can do, which is start writing articles right now about how you see it going because here’s what will happen – and maybe this is just the easiest instead of going around and like maybe I can just Like listen, then we can make any kind of like jam, but job.

Thank you. I know I know so so so I would say a couple different things for you right and, and is why don’t you start becoming a thought leader on this right now, there’s nothing holding you back from that right through articles put them on, LinkedIn put them on Medium here just going to happen, this one’s going to read one they’re going to have the job that you want they’re going to say, I want to hire her.

It’s pull marketing right. This is another kind of theme that I talk about. I guess I didn’t even really talk more, so doesn’t matter yeah. This is core it, so so pull marketing is. When people come to you. This is what happens to me. I have a man right here. His name is Mao say hide him out. Guys mouth follows me around during the day: okay and he films me and you guys, might all think Bryan you’re a narcissistic piece of great that and that’s what everybody thinks and that’s fine.

But here’s the thing that here’s the difference, what what I’m really doing right now is proving the future of personal branding. You know in a way that tests a theory on myself with my own money in my own energy. In my own time right, I actually think that what we’re doing right now and we’ll put this will make a cool article for Kelly Kelly will be happy that I’ll help her with her mastermind connect will put this on.

My YouTube page will put this on my Facebook page and, what’s going to end up happening is – and it’s happened already – I’ve closed literally tens and tens and tens of thousands of dollars of business. Because someone said, I saw your article on YouTube and I want to know if you’ll come, make a six-part article series for the department for the dry cleaning Association of America about marketing.

I have never heard of the dry cleaning Association of America. That’s pull marketing and that’s what you should do right pull marketing is, you know, push marketing is the old way it’s dead, knocking on the door, emailing, cold, emailing, cold, emailing, LinkedIn spam all day long. You know hey and then in some cases they even forget to change the word name to like your actual name. You know: hey name, you are a perfect person for my new business, I’m like yourself, you know, like you know, you didn’t change the name, Thomas bro.

You know, and so I think that you have a chance right now, start making articles start, putting up articles start thinking through start a podcast start a podcast right now, where you interview people that you think are doing it well, and this isn’t throwing your organization on The bus – this is just you simply offering another way of thinking about things. I would find the five to 10 to 15 to 20 top leaders right in your organ, your mood in your world that you respect and I would have them on your podcast they’re, going to share that podcast with all their network, which is by the way, the Right network for you to get yourself into that world, that’s what I would do! That’s how I would think about personal brand from your perspective, create your own job right now, while you still have an income, so start small, do one article and then and then real then read that article into a phone and uploaded as a podcast and then read That article on a article and upload it to a YouTube, I’m serious right start with the article start, the article, but here here’s the other thing that I think is important for everybody.

That’s thinking about this and any capacity distribute that content across all the places that people are paint like everyone says people buy from people they what they trust. But that’s not true because before I can trust you, I have to know you, people Bible do they know and people buy from people. They remember right. People buy from people, they trust I can’t buy. I trust him because I know him.

We see each other once a month for the last four years. I know him and he’s memorable, I know you and you’re memorable. I know you and you’re memorable. There are people that you know that are like what was that guy’s name again, and he did the thing what he does you, we all we’ve all been there right, you’re, never going to buy from that guy or that girl cuz. You came from more than name people buy from people, they know and are memorable, so you have to make people know you by putting your stuff out there, and you have to be memorable, your stuff being good and that’s just kind of a principle throughout all of It your story’s amazing, your story’s amazing.

Your stories like the stories are amazing, but now, where do they live? Because what happens with most of us? Is they don’t live anywhere? It’s the first time ever told this story. How long you guys on each other right? They don’t live anywhere, let them live in the world and just read what happens, pull marketing. It all comes to you. It all comes to you. It all comes to you. I don’t mark it at all.

I have so much business coming in right now. I don’t mark it at all content and we put it everywhere that makes sense for evil yeah. I can give you my best advice right now for free, so here here’s what I would think – and this is like the value. I think I think the value of why I’m here like hoping to do this for all of you right that there’s two different things that you said that we’re really interesting to me.

So I’m listening to every single word, you’re saying and my head’s going. The first thing is: maybe what you need is a Critias is a sales partner yeah, you know so there’s there. You know a lot of people struggle with this there’s art and there’s numbers, and it sounds like you’re an artist, but that doesn’t necessarily make you a saleswoman which is fine and the fact you’re identifying. That is already shows me that you’re like tapped into yourself and that you’re already one step closer to winning, because most people are naive to the fact that they suck at sales and then they so the soap.

But that’s like I don’t and, and, and you know, if you don’t want to do it, you’re not going to do it so like recognize, but there’s a couple there’s well, it depends if this is. If this is how yeah it’s self-aware, exactly if you, if you’re paying the bills with this, then yeah you suck at it like? So so you know, but here’s the thing there’s a couple different things. The first thing is find yourself, a partner that, like there are people out there, that I love to sell things.

I love it. There are people out there that love to sell things. They would be happy to sell your product if they believe in it right. That’s the first thing, but the second thing is: I think, that yours, the way that you just the energy that I got from you guys your I can tell you believe in your product. You tell me that you believe in your product. I can tell so that’s the that’s the part where 99 % of people fail, because they’re selling something they don’t actually believe in and it shocks me when I talk and I talk to senior level executives and I’m like.

What’s the deal your sales are going down and they’re, like, I don’t believe in this product and I’m like, but you make 1.8 million dollars a year to believe in this product and they’re like I don’t so you’re the money is actually not going to be enough To motivate you to sell the thing that you don’t believe in I’ve, seen it time and time again, what I will say is this you’re still in the push marketing mentality so you’re talking about you, you just gave me three ideas that I think that if you Execute a smart Facebook ad strategy you’ll make six figures in the next 12 months without selling anybody.

Here’s what you said to me. You said I want. I want to get into more corporations and I’m starting to do that for anyone. That’s trying to sell anything. A book anything trying to get your podcast in front of the right people Facebook’s ad platform right now. I don’t know how much of how much time you guys spend actually how many have ever run a Facebook ad campaign in this room, cool half of you.

How did it work? Yes, it worked. No, it’s! Okay, not really because artistic things perfect, so you haven’t sold so you haven’t been to sell. So let me tell you exactly what you should what you should do to sell your course or your conferences or you as a speaker or as a consultant. You can actually target so I I would create various pieces of content. If I were you, though, the woman that told you about the military opportunity, the veteran I would start I would.

I would do that. I would offer that I would record that I would put it up on my Facebook professional page and then I would target that same article too. So read this we’re doing this right here, this mastermind I’ll put it up. On my, I have a public page on Facebook will upload this article to that public page it’ll live there and it’ll get hundreds and hundreds of organic views, and that’s great.

Sometimes thousands and tens of thousands just depends, but I’m I’m more interested in taking control over the tools that exist. So what I could do is I could literally publish this article and boost this article. There’s a button that says boost post. That’s how you run a Facebook ad, if I’m talking in a way that you guys like what is this guy talk, it turns into response bad and I’m. I would focus it on every single military there’s a place that says interests.

I would put every single military group in the country in that interest box. Now, what’s going to happen, is you’re going to spend 21 dollars in it in front of 5 to 7,000 relevant military people in the US, and one of those 7,000 people is going to be like? Oh, I want to do that for me here. That’s number. One number two same idea with the corporation’s: you can actually target employees of the newspapers, employees of Ernst and Young you’re, going to show up in Kelley’s feed, imagine Kelly’s the Human Resources person or the person that’s in charge of bringing in outside speakers.

You can target that on Facebook and now, all of a sudden, your 30-minute corporate speech that you were going to do anyway is in front of 1,800 of the decision-makers across America in the corporate positions that you want to speak to anyway. No, I do the whole thing. I’d put the I’d put the whole thing up, so they know exactly what they’re getting no surprises. Here’s! What I do, here’s, what you’ll get do you want it or not? You’ve brought in 15 shitty speakers in a row.

Here’s the 30 minutes that you get with me right, you make. I see, people smiling like it’s really happening, that’s a huge thing for you and then the third thing is the middle school thing. You run an ad, you do the middle school thing. You do! The article take 30 minutes, 20 minutes 15 minutes up, and you run it against the principals and the teachers at every Middle School. In New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts, you will get more invitations to speak, and your call to action is message me book me and it takes them to your direct message or to your website where you sell your stuff and that my friend will help you Build an actual business without having to sell anything right now on a camera and see who that starts to attract.

You can only be yourself now. If you don’t want to be out there, then that’s a different story, then you don’t, then you know I never tell. I actually don’t think most people should do the whole like filming all day. Every day thing. I think that’s it’s a ton of work. You have to be on all the time, but like it’s, my truth like I’m. Actually, this is this, is me, and so it works for me. If that’s not your truth, don’t do it, you know, and so the branding thing is weird I mean that’s, that’s your individual opinion, which is fine, but the the branding thing is like, even if, in order for you to do what you want to do, you have To have a brand in order for you to do what you want to do so if you think that it’s I want to be behind the scenes, then why don’t you turn the grapes of the your favorite wine into the lead character of all your content? I’m serious finally find the Malbec grape.

I don’t even know I mean I don’t know anything about wine, but like find the grape of your favorite wine and let that grape be the person that it’s like the ghost of Casper Casper mattresses is there. I don’t know the CEO of Casper mattress. Is this it’s a ghost so find them. So so let it be a grape for you and let that be the the thing that drives the entire brand. You can be the brains behind it, the architect, behind it, to make sure that we’re doing right by the world and we’re not used.

I agree with you like this is terrible right, but but the alternative is like you saying this is terrible, isn’t helping anything if it’s just you saying it’s terrible at a table for people, it’s a big thing. If you say this is terrible and here’s what I’m doing about it and I’m documenting that in the process, because what I can tell you is people will attract to that and you will start to a tree.

You will start to build your tribe right and then let your try like – and it’s like – and I would also even say here, are my beliefs. I think that I think there’s a lot of things that are going wrong in the world. I think we should start creating more thoughtful brands, and I want to start with these with these grapes and this wine and I’m going to show you the process of, and then you become almost a meta brand, meaning I’m going to show you the process of how You build a brand doing good, it doesn’t matter if it’s wine or bottles of water or tea or notebooks.

It’s the theme of building a brand doing good. That becomes your brand, you know, and so that and if that’s because that’s ultimately what you have deep down inside of you, whether it’s the wine or the Russian or whatever you see, there’s a lot of that. You want to mend so use that as the driving force behind the brand and document that brand and then people sort of said, oh he’s, the guy that did that whole.

Like you know the great thing, but what was more interesting and then the great thing was how he showed us every step of the way here, our employees, here’s how we treat them. Here’s what the grapes come. Here’s the fertilizer that we don’t use, here’s the organic soil, here’s the property, here’s my family business. You know what I mean, that’s how I’d think about it see so a couple different things.

You know this is maybe obvious or maybe not obvious. When I, when I first heard a coaching practice, what I did was, I did two different lists. The first was a list of my dream team clients and I would contact them and I would do I would send them in their house like flowers, and I would stalk them on Twitter see what they cared about and send. I sent one guy like a jersey that actually worked. The second thing is find the three or four or five or seven or eight clients.

You’ve had already asked them two questions. Number one: can you refer someone else to me number two, which most people don’t do, which is what else can I help you with, because you already have that trust and what what you’re going to find is they’re like. So you help me with my day-to-day planning. Now I’m ready to do X, I don’t know how to do it. Can you help me with that, and hopefully the answer is yes right.

It’s like I’m actually ready to share my story. I want to write my bio on LinkedIn and I don’t know how to do it yeah, I’m sure, and then all the sudden, you go back to your eight of their clients and say: hey. Have you thought about writing a bio on LinkedIn yeah? But I don’t know how you have eight more new. You have eight more hours for this week and then that that momentum continues to build and then before you know it, you have.

Six years later, you have like a digital service agency. That’s exactly my story. I started out coaching people on public speaking. I was a speechwriter for Bloomberg’s administration in New York City before I left to start my own thing, and so then that seemed like a really easy transferable skill. I went to San Francisco and I started coaching executives on public speaking. That was how I started.

I was a public speaking coach six years later, this we’re doing clients all over the world, so it builds up, but just focus. Some people are trying to network and meet new people and new people, but we have 8 to 10 to 20 people right for your face. The other thing I would say – and this is something that actually I will plug if Thomas the immense amount of credit for find one or two or three or five champions – people that believe in you so much that will do anything to bring you business.

That’s what he does for me find your champions Jesse I can guarantee you have them and take them out to dinner and say listen. I need your help. I believe in this so much. I know how much I’m benefiting. This is a real issue in our society and I need you to help me find business, no one’s going to say no to that cause that you’re doing it’s not like you’re trying to like build the plastic bottle company of America.

I know Vito would probably the CEO of that company and then one more quick thing that I know I know we’re moving on, but I would do all of it. Every single piece of content that you create from now on on any social media platform should say at the end of it. Contact me for a free consultation, everything and then you do a 15 minute consultation and you give them your absolute best stuff in 15 minutes and at 15 and here’s the key Jesse cut it off.

When you hit 15 they’re not going to want to stop when you hit – and I used to do this up 15 min – and there was ninety two minutes later and I was like – I just lost the you know at 15 – cut it off and then say: if You want to keep going with this. I have a 1 to 4 part package. I’m happy to talk about this is some of this is some of the idea of what you’ll receive working with me your best on 15, but every piece of social content says contact me for, and every single bio in every single social platform that you have booked Me for your free Pepsi collect it, connect it to a calendar or one of these.

You know automated apps, where you can update your calendar. So it’s it’s there’s, no friction. They can go in there here. The three days here: the 15 minutes boom 3:00 to 3:15. 4:40 and then all the sudden, this week you have 17 new fruit, 15 medical station, one or two of them turn into a client. There’s your nut for the next month or two and you keep and it’s just just keep being scrappy for as long as you can so a couple.

It’s a great point, there’s a couple things. I’d say the first thing is you can do one or two things you can if it sounds like, if Jesse is looking for more clients, I’m assuming you have time right. So if you have the time to do it, then do it if you’re in a place where you don’t have 15 minutes or you can’t take five hours out of your week and maybe that’s where you’re at I don’t know. I don’t know what your schedule looks like, but maybe you don’t have five hours to do that.

What you can do, then, is you can say, learn more about my services here. You send them to a page where you actually ask them to fill in information if they’re not interested, they won’t. They won’t take one second to fill out an intake form and that intake form can be. What is your biggest goal? How much are you willing to spend? You know what is your monthly investment range? What have you tried in the past that has do four or five questions that are pretty basic and if you can’t even take the time to fill that out, then I’m not going to waste, not even always 15 minutes with you.

I love your title. Your book, by the way, that’s great that’s a stanford project and I think you’re, a hundred percent right like you need to own your power. You know like don’t when I hear i’m going to go, get an MBA, i’m like oh you’re lost and then that’s my own opinion and i’m sorry. If I offend anyone here for that, but like I’m like, oh you don’t know what you want to do. That’s why I went to law.

I was like I’m going to law school like I want to be. I wanted to be the mayor of New York City and as a good seal you’re going to you go to law school. That’s why I would say last week I want to be the mayor of New York City and like didn’t. Well, I don’t let’s too many people you have to please with anyway, but I just man I just I really see, but but you go to Stanford and you say like this is my: this is my project for the year yeah, it’s the next book.

It’s the next documentary you you’re going to hire me to do this, for you and and also do your program and like, but you don’t need to destroy my insane anything. Do what you want by the distraction of the program for a year just make sure you’re doing it for the right reasons? Not because you need a break or you know, I’m saying yep, that’s cool, so if it feels good for you good, for I just don’t want you to lose momentum.

Yeah you’re, amazing, I mean we’re going to be searching for voice, saves us time. You know. Buy me more water and the water shows up in the your house to you we’re just going to be a car is going to. We see things through audio as a time saver I can. I can Joey, you can drive your kids to school and listen to your podcast. You can take a shower and listen to your podcast. You can cook or you know, smash grapes and listen to a podcast, but you can’t read a article.

That’s why podcasts are going to win every single piece of content that you produce from now on has to be like, be an early user of our app or be the first to know when our app is ready and you collect the name in the email and Then three months from now, six months from now, you already have a thousand or 2,000 or 3,000 or 5,000 people, and in the meantime, what you can do is for the next every week for the next six months.

You set you, keep the people warm, you can’t collect her name and her name of my name and all of a sudden like six months from now is the first time I hear from you like who’s Dan right so every week you should do something for them. Surprise them send them is going on around learn any language. Duolingo really also do duolingo. Not yet. Oh, it’s dueling, sorry out there getting a lot of buzz, so you can do that because I have waste and YouTube.

I have already some good. You have some yet that I could promote my app, but the only thing that’s stopping me from ever. You know. Is this somebody’s going to steal my idea? No, you don’t need the patent it I mean. You know it’s nothing to steal your idea. Here’s the thing! Here’s there’s two there’s two big problems: everyone is this, I’m so happy that you’re saying that cuz everyone is so scared of everyone’s stealing their idea.

There’s two things to think about number one. Your idea doesn’t mean anything right now, because so she could. I can steal your idea now: do I have 80 hours a week to dedicate to actually building it? No, so I can’t study it second thing: is this the reason and the only reason that people are going to download your app is because number one they want to learn about flamingo, music and guitar, but number two and much much much more important? Why not going to buy your book and not the other hundred books out there, because I, like you and I, like you and you’re, a good dude and I’ve known you for like a year now and you’re a good dude and I’m going to support you.

So if I Spade 399 on your app, even if she steals your idea, I’m still giving you three I’ll give her for you, 99 I’ll, give you three ninety-nine and I’ll use the one, that’s better. So the reason that I’m so I I believe so much in the personal brand is because the only way for someone to like you is to know you people come, we were in Guatemala. Two weeks ago I was given the conference there. I had a hundred people come up to me.

I’ve been I’ve spent five days in my entire life in Guatemala. I had 100 people come up to me and say your articles are really helping me. I’m here today to meet you and I’m like from where, like oh, I took a bus to up from two hours from here to me and I’m just like Wow. This is like that was one of the times where I was like this is real. This is like, why listen? Why do you go to concerts of people? We’re not? I can buy your music online.

Why did we go to your concert? Because I liked you and the only way I like because we you’re married and like I knew you from her but like what about the people who don’t know you know, people thought 8 billion people out there that need that. You know that’s why. I really think that all of your content should start to go out there and connect to a mailing list, and then you take the time over the next three to six months to let people get to know you here.

I miss my wife, it’s Kelly and we’re here today in Brooklyn. This is where we look down that we live in Brooklyn and for those who don’t know about Brooklyn Brooklyn awesome, you just start educating people about the Flamingo scene in Brooklyn, start interviewing people and then every week you give some and then, by the time your app Drops everyone’s going to be like yo, this guy has been giving me so much value for the last six months.

I’m going to buy it and share it like people have it wrong. People are like here’s, my app buy it, I’m like who are you here’s my product, buy it here’s my speech by it. Here’s my book buy it I’ll, buy 25 of your books. Now that I heard the story, but if I don’t hear the story and since we can only do this with twelve people once a month, that was the past that was 15 years ago now. We can do this with millions of people every second of the day because of social media.

So that’s what I would say start building out lists now offering the value letting you know you do a weekly live call with your community. What questions do you have? What can I answer for you? I do that all the time I do live calls all the time and literally it’s. What can I help you with and guess what I sell at the end of that live, call, nothing and guess what happens. People hit me up and hey, can you can you consult my company? Hey? Can you like pull marketing? I never sell anything.

It just comes to me same thing with the app you wouldn’t have to sell the app you’ll put it up, and six thousand people you’ve been communicating with for last six months will download it so guys. Thank you so much for for the questions. I hope this was helpful if I can be helpful to you in the future, please, how do I get I’ll give you their

HOW TO START INVESTING FOR PASSIVE INCOME WITH ONLY $1000 2020

So sorry, if it looks a little awkward, looks a little weird upon not going to be wearing these all the time, but I do want to start wearing them more to come out some stuffing because I’m not really used to wearing glasses but anyway. Today, I want to talk to you guys about investing and making passive income with a small amount of money, so basically how to invest your first thousand dollars and the reason I chose a thousand dollars to start with is because it’s small enough for a average person To save up – and it’s large enough to actually start something with, you could start with less you start with 500 hours.

You start with $ 100 even doing any of these things, but I want to sell a thousand dollars because that is a good base to start at so guys before we get into this article, go ahead and smash that thumbs up button to appease the algorithm guys On YouTube, because this is a small blog still and it helps out more than you guys know, um also, if you’re new to this blog go ahead and click that red subscribe button, so you can join this little family we got going on once anyway, guys.

So let’s say you save up this money. Let’s say you say about this one. You save up this thousand dollars and you really want to start investing in making quote unquote passive income, because not all income is not all passive income is actually passive income but because you still out you have to put work upfront. So you start with this thousand dollars. You finally saved up enough and you want to start so.

The first way to actually save up. I’m sorry the first way to actually invest this thousand dollars actually is to, and I know I’m going to get a lot of flack from you guys like I hear this all the time, but trust me this is one. This is probably that’s why I made it number one: it’s the most important thing you can do and you’ll get the highest return from it, and this is investing in yourself guys, and this could be books, buying books, buying courses eating better working out.

Just anything, that’ll really get your noodle work and more efficient and the reason I say this is the most important thing you could do, because you’ll get the highest return from it, because you’re working for yourself trust me guys, there’s a bunch of books out there. I got a book shelf over here in the corner with a bunch of books, and I read not as much as I used to actually in high school I hated reading.

I got out of high school. I started enjoying reading because I found like self-help books and, like actual factual books like I have philosophy books whatever enough with the books in my whatever, but like the intelligent investor right, Rich, Dad, Poor, Dad, the richest man in Babylon thinking Grow Rich. How to win friends and influence people? These books teach you things that you’re not going to get from a formal education, and this is some of the the best way to really amplify your rate of return on yourself and even buying courses like courses to learn how to trade options.

Courses to learn about credit, you know how to fix your credit courses to learn about how to eat properly, just anything that will help you grow as a person and and just make that next leap in life. It could even be taking a vacation, because if you’re working constantly constantly constantly and you’re, you can only do so much you’ll get physically tired and mentally tired and sometimes even spiritually, tired and you just need to take a little break and then come back to it.

Now the second way to invest your first thousand dollars is opening up a high-yield savings account. Now, if you don’t know what a high-yield savings account is it’s basically, a special savings account that the interest rate is higher than the average interest rate. So let’s say if your normal Bank, whether it be let’s say, chase or Hancock, Whitney or Iberia Bank or whatever they give you a point, zero one interest rate on all the money you have in your savings account.

Now, let’s say you have a thousand dollars in savings account in one year for the point 0.01 interest rate, you will literally be getting one cent, so whatever it chases interest rate is whether it be point one zero point: zero, one or anywhere in between you beginning Anywhere from that thousand dollars, one cent to one dollar – and that is atrocious. That is terrible, especially because we know that the average inflate rate of inflation is a two to three percent.

So if you’re not gaining two or three percent you’re actually losing money, and you might be saying well, how am I losing money if I’m not actually losing the money is because interest rate is that’s because inflation is beating your interest rate now next best step is, If you can’t beat the inflation rate, you want to get as close to it as possible. So there’s several banks out there, like wealthfront allied bank hell, even Robin Hood, is about to open up their own that cash management app with a 1.

8 percent interest rate. Me myself, I personally have a credit, korma, high-yield savings account and they offer a 1.8 percent. It’s an interest rate. So basically, this means 1.8 percent of $ 1,000 is $ 18. So when you’re generally making, you know, point 0, 1 to 0.1 zero percent interest on in in a year you’re. Now I don’t know quadrupling 10 times that right so now, you’re making one penny to one dollar to almost $ 20 a year of this thousand dollars and again.

This is when compound interest comes into play because now next year, you’re not only gaining interest on a thousand dollars, you’re gaining interest on a thousand eighteen, so you’re gaining eighteen dollars, plus a gaining interest on the first year interests, and this is with only $ 1,000. If you had $ 1000 every year, every six months or whatever $ 100 a month this these accounts, you definitely see your money grow a lot more, a lot more exponentially than it would in a regular savings account – and this is just a great way to keep Your money working for you, especially being that, if you don’t want to risk your money in the stock market, anything like that this is the safest one of the safest ways possible aside from bonds and things like that.

But do be aware that at any time the Fed can change the interest rate. So you are subject to fluctuations in your interest rates, so it might go from one point: eight percent to one percent or one point five percent, or I may even go up to two percent two point: five things like that, and there are bank accounts out there With higher interest rates than two percent, you just have to look for them.

I think one of them actually called redneck banking bank account or something like that. But so that’s just one of the safer ways. This is just one of the safer ways to actually invest your money without worrying about losing it in the stock market. If you’re, you know not ready to get in the stock market so guys. Next, we have one of my favorites, which is investing in dividends, and this is a great way to form passive income.

And if you don’t know what a dividend is, a dividend is basically a payment. You get just for owning a share in a company. So if you own one share of a company, if you own one share of a company, they’ll, give you a small amount of money every either month or every quarter that you own that share it’s an incentive in order for you to continue to own that share That stock in the company, then there are thousands upon thousands of great dividend stocks.

Some stocks aren’t great dividend stocks to have, they still have a dividend yield. Some of them are are great dividend stocks and they don’t have a high dividend yield, but it really doesn’t matter about the dividend yield itself, but rather more dividend growth. So if you’re, if you have a high dividend rate high, you know but you’re not growing, then I’d much rather have a lower dividend rate, but I know it’s going to grow over the next five to ten years and this is your annual dividend yield going up.

So let’s say s, phd’s dividend yield is four point, one eight seven percent. Now, let’s say you take your entire thousand dollars and invest it into s PhD. So four point one. Eighty seven percent of a thousand dollars is forty one dollars and 87 cents a year, meaning since this is a monthly dividend, paying stock you’ll be getting three dollars and fifty cents a month from this stock. Now, after a whole year of owning s, PhD you’ll be able to buy another share, which would then be adding more money at the end of every month.

So, instead of three thousand fifty cents a month, you’ve been making, I don’t know three, seventy or whatever it is per share per month, and once you continue to do that, and you continue to add money into these accounts. You’ll definitely see your growth over time and and not only will you be getting money from dividends, but let’s say your stock appreciates ten percent in one year, so you’re not only getting dividends from the stuff.

You also get in capital gains from the price of the stock increasing over time, and with these two combined, you can definitely make a lot of money over time Gus. So the last two find a way to invest. One thousand dollars in 2020 would be rates a real estate. Investment. Trust me. If you don’t know what a real estate investment trust is. It is a certain type of stock on the stock market and it all deals with real estate.

So basically, these are real estate. Holding companies they own real estate, all across the world or all across the country, so these real estate investment trusts they own money all over the globe and all over the country. So basically, these paid dividends every month, just like a regular dividend stock would, but instead these pay almost 90 % of the money they make to its shareholders, and it has to because there was a law passed in.

I don’t know the 80s or 70 saying that this is how they have to be paid out, so they have a much higher rate of dividend yield. But the good thing about this is basically you’re investing in real estate without owning a tangible asset without owning any type of property. So there’s no maintenance, no landlording, no phone calls no tenants. None of that. You have to do it. You literally just click a button.

Now you own real estate, now you’re a real estate investor, but through a real estate, investment trust and the good thing about these is that they, you get a lot of them paid every month, but some of them also pay every quarter. The good thing about this is: you can pick what type of real estate you want to be in whether it be large warehouses, whether it be convenience stores, whether it be apartment, buildings, hospitals, senior, living just things.

You know there’s a bunch of different areas to get into in a lot of these focus on certain ones on certain areas of real estate, but some of these, especially Oh Realty income, focus on well, I think it’s 47 or 49 different areas of real estate, and This is a great way to fight diversify your portfolio. I actually own quite a few REITs in my portfolio. You don’t even have to stop at $ 1,000. You can start with as little as $ 100.

I think Oh right now is a little above 80 bucks per share, but definitely do your own due diligence when it comes to these stocks, especially you know anything. I told you guys about in this article on whether it be reached dividend. Investing these high yield savings accounts and investing in yourself definitely invest in yourself but anyway. So the only downside with these REITs is that you can’t leverage your money out of a property so meaning that if you own a hundred thousand dollar house – and you have $ 50,000 of equity in it, usually you can pull out a certain amount of equity.

You own in that house to go, buy another house, you know you can do the beat the Bur strategy by repair rent reinvest. I don’t remember how it goes, but you know you do house hacking and things like that. You can’t do that with these real estate. Investment trusts, but I still think that they’re great I set to own in your portfolio anyway, guys. I hope you enjoyed this article and I hope that you gained some knowledge from it.

You actually took something from this article and if you did go ahead and smash that, like button father, YouTube algorithm to help a small youtuber like myself, also guys, if you’re still reading this and you haven’t, subscribed to the blog go ahead and consider clicking that red Subscribe button, so you can join this little family. We got going on also, if you haven’t added me on instagram, yet it’s either going to be on this side or this side.

I’m try to put it on this side. It’s at financial enlightenment, Michael post there pretty much daily about you, know investing personal finance, saying credit and all that good stuff. Alright guys, I hope you enjoyed the article if you want to continue journey to financial enlightenment with me, all you have to do. Is click one of these articles and look guys I’m out of here y’all have a great day.

The Difference Between Business Development and Marketing

We talked about that before what our brand is right. I don’t know that we’ve talked about this extensively, it’s what we did today was today: business development or marketing no marking. I will all about awareness of Education right trying to teach some people some stuff – they don’t know right so mark needs top of the funnel top of the sales.

Funnel Frank, that’s the big open end right. So you know, if I talk to twenty-five people today are all 25 going to be clients now its top of the funnel right. It’s a big open, funnel. You know we’re going to get some pretty X percentage of that I don’t know what it is. Okay, marketing is typically broadcast right. So it’s it’s broad. You know social media. Your website right the newsletter gates, brah, hey yeah, so today was today.

I broadcast did I eat with real estate agents one-on-one and talk about their needs and their individual deals. No, it was broadcast right, okay, so here’s two things we haven’t done yet. I think that we need to do a better job on that falls in this category right. Some point: I’d like to have a monthly newsletter. Just talks about you know local land stuff. That’s going on in the region right and I need you know we need.

Our website need some work just been too busy, but we need some good content on there. Okay, okay, so business development is where you actually make your money okay. So this is important, but if you only do this – and you never do this – you go, but you go out of business right. You got to move people through the funnel okay. At the same time, if you don’t do this, do you get people in the funding to do this? So you need both right.

You need to get people in the funnel and you need to move some percentage of those people through the funk. Okay, who does this here well? Well, I’m I’m doing a bit of this, but like this is primarily Vanessa right who’s. Doing this me and Danny yeah, damn dream lamp output, Jackson, proposals – I put this under business development, because this is this broad of quick check. So this is on a specific piece of property.

This is a very yellow paper right now, they’re not paying for cortex. They know we make Danny and I made you pay a kid all day. You know like. Can you imagine how firm like a flex? So it’s some it’s sometimes we could get. Somebody like Elena trained a few quick checks, yeah yeah right people would do those all day long great, but at some point we will get at some point. I will probably stop doing residential quick checks.

I will only do residential, quick checks for brokers at bring us the normal thing. If you wanted to hire a kid to do resident like all they did with residential quick check, I mean giving, but at some point we will stop doing. There’s no quick checks, because that’s just it’s just! It is at some point now I’m going to do it right now for this Oakdale office, because we’re trying to build a relationship there right, okay, so they still may sell pasture land in almond orchards around here I seen a century 21 sign on a cow pasture.

On my way into work today, okay and I listen – I was up front with those people today I told him – I don’t like doing a lot surveys. I can’t make money out of it. I said homeowners are very hard to do with. What do you think? All those real estate agents were saying when I said that: hey no okay, all right so business development is focused right bottom of the funnel. This is a really important point that I heard that I wanted to share with you guys.

You know this could apply a little bit over here too, but people don’t build relationships with organizations for companies. They build relationships with people. Why has Dominic followed me to the last three jobs? Yes, city of Tracy? Now I think of baby, you think of Peggy right. You don’t have a relationship with the city of Tracy, you have a relationship with pay. Dominic doesn’t have a relationship with got with Oh devil engineering.

He has a relationship with random link right, so part of why I’m mentioning that is when we’re doing marketing and business development. I don’t want people to know, leave right now. That’s important, I’m not saying that our brand isn’t important. It is but who I really want people to know, Danny and Vanessa and Landon. That’s what people mean well, Monique Spanish. She kind of backs a house like.

I want people to know, but you know I I wouldn’t. I want people to be friends with Vanessa. Get up, look I’m going to use Dan as an example. I consider name to be a friend he’s, not just a business partner. Listen if Dan called me to mom said freakin, I’m on the side of five, I’m on the side of 580. My car is on fire. Nobody will answer their phone. Can you come get me? What would I say I’ll be there in 30 minutes Dan he’s a friend of mine right if he called me and said on in to my eyeballs on a deal gone sideways and I might get sued.

I need your help. I would help Dan and not charger. If I got my butt in major trouble and I called Dan and said, I’m being sued, I’m going to lose my house, they do not have money for an attorney. What would the improbable you he’d probably defend me Provo? Okay, so part of what we need to do. We need to get people to know you two guys. That’s why I have your photos on the website right, but, like that’s part of the reason why we need to work on LinkedIn.

I want people to be able to spined you guys on LinkedIn and get to know a little bit about you right, so we don’t work on that. That needs to be ironed. You know to week list of tasks, okay and that’s where these dinners and lunches are so important. You know Vanessa been an attorney this week for last week. I can’t remember you know, that’s somebody. She note there’s a face with the name. Now you know when Vanessa emails that office or calls him is that guy going to pick up yeah the chances of her now getting him getting him to respond, we doubled the chances of getting a response out of that guy versus a cold call right.

Cuz he’s got a face with a name right same thing. If he calls her, you know, he’s doubled the chances that Vanessa’s going to answer his phone call Frank because she knows who that person is okay. So just not always remember that people connect with people now. What businesses we need people to get to know us as a team.

Starting a business is not easy! Think about who will be working on your digital image. Hiring a good webmaster will help!

HOW TO BECOME AN INFLUENCER ON SOCIAL MEDIA – PROFITABLE PERSONAL BRANDING

What is the future millionaires? Jessie unlock tier, the unlocked entrepreneur, coach and my goal with this blog is to help you unlock your ultimate lifestyle, so real, quick before we get into the meat of this article, if you guys are serious about you, know, becoming an influencer and making passive income from It be sure to check out the links in the description below, because it’s going to have a lot of information and valuable tools that you can use to get ahead so excuse the mess we just moved into our new place.

So it’s a little scattered. But let’s get into the three fundamentals: the three foundations that you really need to become a social-media influencer number one is a platform. Now what a platform is is basically, where do you want to start if you’re just getting started? Just think of one platform where you want to get started, this can be Facebook, it can be YouTube, it can be Instagram, but you have to have a platform to decide where you’re going to influence.

So, let’s say you’re getting started in YouTube now with YouTube. You’re. Obviously, going to be making articles you’re going to want to be somewhat comfortable on camera, because you know it gets easier, the more you do it now. If you want to go on Facebook and kind of build your influence there you’re a little more comfortable on Facebook. Facebook stope, it gives you options and you can actually either start a Facebook group.

You can do article if you want to do Facebook live if you’re down for the challenge. That’s pretty cool and they’re. Giving a lot of you know beef to it. So you can do lives or you can kind of go behind the scenes like a lot of people, are doing personal branding and actually making a lot of money just doing Facebook groups. They build a group, they post some content, they get people to check it out and they sprinkle affiliate links where they can actually start making some money.

So it really kind of comes down to your preference and Facebook gives you a lot of options. Now. Let’s say you want to tackle Instagram as a platform. Instagram is cool if you like, working with images and you’re down to either make your own images, you know, take cool photos set up cool settings. Take pictures of accessories, clothing, shopping brands more of that route. If you want to be that kind of influence, like a fashion, influencer or you’ve, been like a cooking like a chef, influencer or like that, would be dope for Instagram.

However, you’re not super limited to making your own content, you can also basically be a curation page where, let’s say you like cars, you’re really into cars, you can look at cars all day. You know lots about cars right. You can make either a luxury. You know cars page, you could make it old-school cars page like hot rods and old motorbikes, and maybe old cars and vehicles that they used to use in old school movies like that could be a niche you know, but these are just options that you can do With Instagram, so Instagram gives you a lot of options as well.

You can either create your own content or you can pull together a page of similar themed content now. The second thing you want to have is a topic in our niche. I’ve heard it said niche. It just kind of depends on on how you want to say it doesn’t really matter, but having this is going to be super crucial, because it’s what you talked about so, for example, you want to start thinking in ways of like what are your hobbies.

What are hobbies that you have that other people have like that is more of like a broad thing, that you know that people like and there’s a few ways that I can give you on finding this niche, so that you know it’s a it’s. It’s a popular ish niche. Now, let’s take a look at health and fitness. When you look at health and fitness, it’s a really broad topic right, but when you get down to it you know it could even go into like fitness and nutrition is kind of the crossroads.

Then you go into fitness and there’s all kinds of different Fitness right. There’s p90x there’s lifting there’s running. There’s you know, triathlons, there’s marathons, there’s yoga, there’s all kinds of different topics right: those are all niches, so maybe you’re a gamer bu. You know – and these are the experiences that I know – maybe you’re a gamer – maybe you’re a lyft – or maybe you like meditation, maybe you’re – into tarot card reading.

You know just start thinking about the things that you do and the stuff that you read up on the stuff that interests you in that you find yourself going back to again and again. Another way to find a good niche is actually what I call the the magazine test and a way to find a good niche and one that’s actually profitable, is by looking and seeing if there’s already a magazine out on it on that topic, and one way to Do this is actually through Amazon.

Amazon is like the they’re, just the biggest store on the planet. Basically, and if you go on the the books segment, there’s an area for magazines and they you – you will see all kinds of magazines that not even Barnes and Noble has but what’s important to know is that if there’s a magazine on it, that means there is Enough demand to make that magazine, otherwise it wouldn’t waste the time or the energy to make it happen.

So if there’s a magazine on the chances, are it’s popular enough to make a magazine on now the next way and like more like the last way of finding a good niche that I’ll recommend in this article for today is actually going on Facebook. So if you’re probably already spending time on Facebook chances, are you know about Facebook groups? Now, if you go into the search bar and you search whatever your niche may be, and let’s say it’s tarot card reading, you’re going to find groups on it and you want to make sure that there’s at least at the minimum, like 5,000 people in multiple groups, If there’s only like one group and there’s a few hundred people, it’s probably going to be an uphill battle.

If you choose that as a niche now, if you find something more popular, you know like something I looked into when I was doing affiliate marketing was juicing. I noticed that there were a few different juicing groups and detox groups, so I knew that that was something that would be worth my time and energy pursuing. So whatever your niche is just look in the the search bar and start looking at groups just join the most popular one, so you can kind of see.

Obviously that’s going to be where you’ll find the most engaged people. So it’s worth checking out and seeing what kind of conversations they’re having what problems they’re having what kind of things are talking about? Maybe there’s news. There’s updates and you’ll find out what people are talking about in that niche, and it’s going to it’s going to give you an advantage, but you just right now. You just want to see that it’s popular there’s people talking about it and that there’s interest so that wraps up fundamental foundation number two so guys once you have your platform and once you have your niche, it’s time to figure out the content, that’s right! Content is number three, so with number three being content, you guys already know that content is king content.

Basically, is the deciding factor on whether or not you move up you move down or you stay neutral. So, if you’re coming into this new, unfortunately it’s not as easy as just planting your flag and saying you’re the expert right you’re going to want to have some stuff. That really proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that you know what you’re talking about, and this can be done in article. It can be done in pictures, infographics, podcasts, really any form of media that you decide you’re comfortable with and the more you put out.

The more of an expert you become not just to other people, but really to yourself. You know you get better at talking about that thing. You become more confident talking about that thing and, as you become more of an expert, your content gets better. The way you talk and portray yourself in and speak and your voice gets better over time and that’s kind of the the best compounding effect is because you might feel a little.

You know not so confident at first but the more you do this like it just builds and it becomes really really cool because then people believe you people believe that you’re an expert, because you get confident about what you’re talking about and by staying in your lane. You really show that you’re an expert and you to others when they come across your content, that you are the expert in that field.

So one is the perk that you become the expert you’re seen as the expert now. The second thing, the second like perk, is you’re. Just it’s seen that you’re active in the field. You know a lot of people get hesitant to buy books when they’re a little older, because you’re afraid the content doesn’t really hold up anymore. So, especially with things like social media and things online, the game is always changing.

The game is always growing right. Things are shifting constantly so a book like, let’s say in social media marketing that came out in like 2008 you’re going to be super, hesitant to believe the content, because it’s so old. So if you’re like going off the content that you made two years ago three years ago, it’s stale you know, so you want to make sure that you’re pumping out active content, because people are like alright.

This guy’s always posting content, he’s freshening the game. He knows what he’s talking about he’s always posting like the most up-to-date content and they’re more likely to believe you because you’re on top of it you’re like you, have your finger on the pulse and you’re like alright. I know exactly what’s going on and then they come to you because they start to trust you and they go okay, it’s easier for me to get my knowledge from this guy, because he’s constantly he’s been right before and he’s constantly providing me the most up-to-date content.

I don’t have to go to this site. I don’t have to go to this person. I can just go to this person because they’re the expert, and they know exactly what’s going on so the last perk of creating relevant content – is that it builds your audience and it really gives people more of a chance to find you. We we’d all love to have like that. One homerun piece that just knocks it out of the park and all of a sudden everybody knows our name and everyone.

We want to work with knows about us and all of our customers instantly want to buy from us right, but that’s just not how it works. You know it really does take shots. It’s like that. That wing risk that Wayne Gretzky quote where he mentions, like you, miss 100 % of the shots you don’t take. You know the way I like to consider putting out content is pretty much like like hooks. You know like like you when you’re fishing and you have hooks in the water and like if you only have one article, if you only have one piece of content, if you only do one picture, that’s like having one hook in the ocean, so with that analogy, In mind, do you want to have one hook in the ocean, or do you want to have hundreds of hooks in the ocean and really care and tea that you’re bringing home a fish like that? It’s it’s really that simple! The analogy is just that clear and by posting content on the regular and becoming someone who’s active in the community, it really builds all three of those.

So you know people see you as an expert. They know that you have your finger on the pulse, that you’re active and three. You just have so many hooks in the water that people are bound to see your content and that you’re getting better all the time. So my question for you guys in the comments section below, is what niche are you going into and what platform are your going to be using, go ahead and comment in the section below and let’s have a conversation?
