You have been working on your pins. You’Ve been setting up your shop and now I’m going to show you exactly where to be: to increase your reach and to get your stuff in front of excited customers, but before we do that, go ahead and hit that bell, so you could be notified subscribe. I do articles every Friday, so do all that and then come back and then I’m going to show you exactly where you need to be to sell your pins.
Okay, so you’re ready to start marketing your pins but you’re not quite sure where to start, except for Instagram, I’m going to get to more Instagram tips in a second, but there is more to marketing than just that one app. So, by the end of this article, I am going to show you exactly where you need to be and exactly what you need to do to get seen on multiple platforms and increase your reach to sell your pins okay, so the first up is Instagram duh.
I’Ve talked about this before I have a whole webinar that you can read all about tips to grow your following on Instagram, but the biggest thing I want you to know about in this particular article about marketing on Instagram is to figure out what is working for. You so this is different for everybody. Everyone’S audience is different. What they respond to is different, so I want you to go into your analytics and I want you to look at the things that are giving you the most engagement, and I want you to look at the things that are giving you the most likes and the Really important ones are the click throughs, so those are the ones that people are looking at and clicking through your profile and they’re, going to your shop so figure out what those are along with followers.
You want to see the stuff that brings in more followers, but once you get those followers there, you want to see what they’re engaging with and you want to see what is converting them and it’s making them click over into your shop. So when you see and organize those things – and you can see the pins and the photos that people are most likely to click over to your website, you can duplicate those kind of photos.
You can share those same photos again. Don’T do it like super soon, but you can absolutely reuse photos every few months and you can duplicate the kind of subject matter. That’S in those photos and the type of caption that you use – and you can use that to your advantage, because you know it’s already working okay. So let’s talk about Pinterest for a second. This is a platform that I have been experimenting with, and I’ve been really excited with the results of it.
Pinterest is basically just a search engine and there are entire courses. You could go into how to use Pinterest for your business, but for again the purposes of this article we’re going to take a higher-level look. So Pinterest is a search engine, so that means you can put a pin up and then it’s there. So if people are looking for it and if people are looking for certain things, if you’ve got keywords, if people are responding to photos that are similar to yours, Pinterest is going to show them.
They’Ve got their own algorithm too, so you can utilize Pinterest for your shop by creating a board for just your shop, so you can have all of your own products in there. You could have a board for your Instagram. You can cross promote on both of those you can repin pins from each one. You can have boards that are themed, so I have one that’s like super cute pins cap, pins and I’ve gone kind of granular with the types of boards that I have around pins, and so in those boards you can pin other people’s stuff, which is awesome because You’Re supporting the community and you’re, showing your followers and just people scrolling through Pinterest, really awesome fun stuff.
That also works with your own aesthetic and you can put your own stuff in there too. So I think it’s really really fun. It takes kind of minimal effort to get used to it. Of course, there are people, it’s their whole job. A lot of people go really hard into Pinterest, but for our purposes I think it’s good. If you want to just dip your toe in a little bit see how it goes and make just a handful of boards and pin stuff and just kind of read.
I haven’t even really touched mine in a couple of months and my views. My monthly views keep growing, which is pretty awesome, so I would definitely recommend taking some time once a week every couple of weeks and just go through, pin some stuff. That’S been on your Instagram pin some stuff, that’s in your shop and just kind of get the pins flowing on Pinterest and then see you’re, just kind of see your accounts go up.
I think Pinterest is about the fourth or fifth referred to my site. So I definitely get sales from Pinterest, so it’s definitely not as much as Instagram or direct traffic, but why not take advantage of it if it just takes a couple minutes um every few weeks to kind of dip your toe in and try it out so definitely Recommend being on Pinterest, for that reason, okay, are you kind of excited to try Pinterest now, like I was on the fence about it, but once I started doing it, I got really excited about it.
Oh, so let me know in the comments if you are either on Pinterest already and are like duh. Of course you should be on there and put your pins on there or, if you’re, not on Pinterest, yet and you’re like yes, give me this. So tell me down below what you think. Okay, this is a big one, email lists, so I talked about this a bit in my webinar to again linked below all that jazz, but email lists are so important.
The thing about social media is that we don’t own that platform at all, so Instagram could decide that it doesn’t want to post photos anymore and then what do we do? You know um. So the thing about email lists is you you own that list? These are people that have told you directly. They want to be on your email list. They want to hear from you. They want to get your content, so it’s really important to take care of these people.
So what I like to do is I try really hard to email. My people once a week with just some little notes. I try to send them coupons every now and then that are just for email subscribers, so they have a reason to be there, and that is kind of the biggest thing that gets people on email lists. So if you’re not quite sure what to do for an opt-in, I like to offer a discount code for people who you sign up for my list and just treat them well like these are your people.
These are your biggest supporters. I know when I send an email out to my subscribers, then I’ll get sales like these are the people that support me more than anyone else and they’re the ones that want to jump on any kind of specials or promotions or new products that I’ve got going On like these are my people and I love them so take care of them and if you’re worried about emailing people – and you haven’t done it in a while just do it, it doesn’t matter.
If an subscribe, the unsubscribe, it’s fine, they wouldn’t have bought anything anyway. So, who cares so I I definitely recommend having an email list. You can start by doing MailChimp. That’S what I started out using and they’re really great they’re super easy to use. You can integrate them and pretty much any selling platform at all. It’S really important start. Your email is start it now. Okay, this last one is a little different.
I think you should always market yourself in person too so have business cards, I’m terrible at always having business cards, but I do have special logo pins that I send out in orders. You know over a certain amount, you get a free local pin. So I keep those with me at all times and they’ve got my the name of my shop on the back of the pin and if anyone comments – and this has been huge since I’ve gotten my eita bags.
But people always comment on my bags because it’s still a pretty new thing and people are super into pins and when they see someone with a pink collection they’re, like I understand you, okay, no and whenever anyone reaches out to me or taps me on the shoulder. It was like, I love your bag. That’S awesome, then. First thing I do is say thanks. I’Ve made it which is like the best feeling in the world, but it’s also really cool.
When you can hand them a free pin and be like here are. My shop is on the back of this and definitely check it out. I was in Target the other day and this gentleman comes up and it’s like. Can I take a picture of your bag? For my daughter, she really likes pins and I was like sure, and then we ended up chatting. I gave him a pin from off of my bag and then he they ended up coming to Flair fest that weekend and they hung out and supported all the other artists there.
So you can’t you can’t underestimate in-person stuff, so it’s the same when you’re at shows always have your business cards. I don’t know it’s just been really fun talking to people about my shop and explaining what I do and having my eat a bag there with my pins. It’S a really great way to like help. People understand, because a lot of times you say I make enamel pins and they’re like, but if you have a physical thing to show them, then it really helps.
So I think it just helps build a deeper connection with just other human beings and with your local community, which is really great and yeah. I don’t know I just think having that physical pin, the one I have is really small. It doesn’t have to be super expensive, but I think having the pin is just this kind of extra over the edge when you give someone a free pen, because I get really excited about it.
So I don’t think, there’s anything wrong with Tooting your own horn in person with actual human beings. Okay, so we talked about Instagram. So I want you to go into your analytics and I want you to take a look and see which posts are giving you the most clicks and the most engagement. These are really important, so you can duplicate that kind of thing for later. I want you to take a look at Pinterest and if you’ve already got one set up, awesome, let’s be friends on Pinterest and if you don’t take a look around explore, you can look at my profile just to see an example of what someone’s doing with pins On that site, so take a look and dip.
Your toe in, I think, it’ll be really good for email list. If you don’t have an email list, get one uh-huh and if you haven’t emailed your people in a while, do it and then and don’t be shy when you’re in person with someone give them a business card, explain what you do be excited about it and be Confident in your work, because you’re awesome and you own your own business and of course you should holler about that.

So, just let us know who you are what you do where were you from? I am from Scotland, I yeah. What do you do? What’S your? What’S your profession, I guess, what’s your, what are you currently doing on social media? Have a kind of like type thing? Oh I’m, taking at your account beautiful, foodie bloggers. What do you think is? What’S your current problem, how can I help you um? I just kind of wondered how to like insert more of myself into X.
Obviously, right now that’s kind of just like a lot of like food pictures but yeah, I kind of want to strengthen like personal side of it. So I got, I guess so. Maybe are you feeling, like you, get a lot more interaction and people find more value from food pictures? Not you. So you feel like if you post a picture. It’S like no one gives a shit. Okay, okay! I that’s what that’s a real problem, so how you do it like props to you.
Thank you. Well, let me let me take a look, so is YouTube something you’re currently working Harden or not as much you haven’t, sat down and filmed a YouTube article at all. I do Instagram lives or have you done anything with like face to face story? Interaction? Maybe you know what I think you should do. I think my biggest ever like tip for just starting to be like you know, trying to get comfortable with a camera, is really hard.
I’M telling you it’s like not like. I love the camera. It’S actually really weird, because no one’s fucking there, and sometimes if you go online right, if you ever like the do live, have you? Okay? If you have you done alive before? Okay, it’s just really awkward, but no one talks back and you’re just like looking for questions and no one’s asking anything. So how do you make it less awkward? So my biggest thing – I think I want you to try – is the key of being less awkward is called preparation.
So let me make it a little more less raw raw. I think what I would do for you is going on your DMS and whether you answer every single one or don’t for the next like leave it up for 24 hours to make people ask you, questions start the first couple articles slash you want to like segment Yourself inside just make it a Q & A do heavy Q & A because, what’s going to happen, is the reason why people don’t are not as interesting as Charlotte the person and more Charlotte the food? It’S because you don’t haven’t given them a reason to really care about you as a person.
For example, if you say give me a Q & A let me answer your questions and you do face to face interaction. They’Re going to want to read your YouTube article. What I would do is, if you don’t know what to say, make people ask you. The second thing is you should try something called. It’S called like the 60 60 minute challenge. I think it might help you so basically a little bit. Okay, are you ready? So I actually I do this for so many Oh kind of like my artist friends like people who make music cuz some people just don’t wan na fucking.
I don’t know why they’re an artist but they don’t wan na make a song. So I try to help them with how to be more comfortable, putting stuff down on paper. So for you, I would say: set a timer 60 minutes, whatever you film in that 60 minutes, you have to post it, whether it’s stupid or whether it’s good you have to so. This really gets your mind to kind of be okay. With imperfection good luck, charlie, I hope you crush it by the way.

It gets carried on. A lot of people are reading them, they have envy or they have just people have their eye on them. Okay, people these piece weeks. How about this? How do you measure an influencer? That’S a better question. I feel like you’re like no, like you know. How would you measure someone like, for example, like how would you measure how influential someone is there you go, it’s a hard one think about it.
Well, I’m thinking right now is like oh, okay, tell me more. What does that explain it to like a five-year-old saying, peace? How do you measure influence go wow? You might do something great right now, but not everyone can see it well. How would you measure your success if someone is okay, honey, mm-hmm? I know a lot of youtubers action, don’t make money, so those are the stupid utility you’re supposed to make money for, of course, I think about it like this there’s nothing wrong with money.
It’S just about how much time you’re dedicated. If you have all your money made from YouTube, your hashtag dedicated that’s your job, so I feel like people who are half-assing YouTube and don’t make money it’s because they don’t know they’re, not actually 100 % committed, which is not evil. I think people kind of tie grounds to hardly with money, so I mean like. Let me know: do you really want to quit your job and do you two full-time one, do if you’re starting small and you haven’t, made any money yet and like he’s being consistent or you’re trying to rescue like? Where did that? Please you what’s your goal to make money right in what yeah time it’s time holding you Matt’s, not enough time, not enough money to do what you want or not enough self-confidence.
/! It’S yourself holding back! This is what I would do. Peace, I’m going to help you out with your YouTube career when you’re, when you’re small, you do the following things: you just test a lot of shit you’re just going to try something and you’re trying to do what people want to do, which is make content. So what you first of all the first thing, this first step to be YouTube famous, is you need a frickin be like through the roof? Confident, if you like, talking to camera, make that like become just best friends, what’s going to happen? Is people only follow people that have what they want if you’re not confident enough, if you don’t show them that you are in love with this more than they aren’t they’re not going to follow you, I think too many people realize they’re scared about posting.
You literally, if you can’t, if you’re scared of posting a article, no one wants a fucking, follow you, because everyone in their own home just are is insecure. The reason why youtubers or success will succeed is because either they’re extremely confidant, camera and people kind of want that in you know kind of embedded in them. So they read you more. I think that’s what you need to start with start with a little bit of confidence.
This might mean taking a trip to the park and just kind of being real with yourself doing, a really full beat look to make you feel better whatever you start with yourself. First and then what I would do next is don’t give a shit and do my favorite technique called top ten of top ten. So this is something I haven’t cinema youtube yet, but what you can do right now? Peace go to your top ten favorite youtubers.
Go to their most popular articles, take ten of their most popular articles and recreate it in your own words. So then you have a hundred unlimited. You have a hundred unlimited articles that you know is proven and works. Okay, and what’s the problem with that? What’S going to help you’re going to you’re going to get sued, so something more like what are you afraid of with someone getting upset? No, no one gives a shit like no one.
You have to understand you’re, not copying, there’s a difference between okay, I think imitation is horrible, like copying their words or style, it’s horrible. What you can do is steal, there’s a book. Actually I want you to read it search steal like an artist. What it’s basically saying this book is saying: you want to steal like an artist which means you don’t take from one creator, you take from ten different creators and you just take the ones that you really like the pieces that works.
You don’t want to imitate anyone. Imitation is all flattery. I do agree with that. Just don’t take from one person take from multiple sources. That’S not stealing! I am a sports journalist, particularly for the NBA. I wanted to know because a lot of my content and access piece – and it’s a lot of stuff like that games or events or practices and stuff and with the season over, feel like I’ve kind of hit a little bit of a wall, creating content, because there Just hasn’t been as much stuff to post. How do you keep that fresh when it’s kind of a drag ball right now with that with, like that’d, be a season over in LA on it, so you’re on 5,000 followers? What’S the outcome you really want to see from this like fucked off my head: I’d love to eventually be at like 50,000 200,000.
What do you think’s holding you back from getting to you? 50 100,000. I’M sure, like I think I posted contact cuz right now. A lot of your work is less it’s either you or the player. Have you had a piece of kana that to you guys together yeah, I posted some stuff, it’s a little further down, but like like an interview, because so this is what I think for you. I think you don’t have necessarily like OJ and I don’t know what to post like you do know what to post.
You know what gets likes. You know what people want to see. It sounds like to me: you just have a distribution problem. Do you think I’m onto something for apps yeah? No, you go. You go first over think I tend to overthink in general, but especially now it was posting. It has I’ve gotten more followers because I was around, like I probably had 700 like last summer, so I’ve gotten more followers. I got started overtake my captions and like when I ask a question.
I’Ve noticed that I get pretty good engagement and results of questions, but I don’t know if I should be asking a question on every post or like some post. I can’t really think of a question that would go with the photo, the one where I’m like, posing with the basketball yeah that couldn’t really think of a question for that. But I think for me, if it’s a distribution and on top of that, like oh, I mean what I what I think about when I put yourself maybe, but if I’m myself in your shoes, maybe it’s like oh shit, I’m the shit now and I got ta.
Look cool so like for that, when you feel like you’ve made it somewhere, I would just do the complete opposite and just tell yourself you did to help you have it on shit, a lot of people when they get too big or, like I don’t even fake When you just experience fast growth, it can ultimately kill you, because in your head, you’re getting complacent and a little bit less oh, I think you actually know what to ask and what people want to hear it’s more of a fact of how vulnerable are you test? Testing a lot of things because you have to realize you’re still in the very beginning stages right now, you can’t overthink.
You really can’t afford that, but your dreams are bigger, I’m assuming so maybe you need actually think about like this, like you’re, just starting who gives a fuck. If you don’t know what to caption it, you have a lot more to go. That’S the first thing. Second thing is once you get over yourself and you’re like okay, I haven’t done shit. This is just only the beginning and I don’t need to worry so much about what people think.
I would actually take some of your best work. You did the spreadsheet thing, which is fucking cool, and this kind of like do this like smart, to take a photo with someone that has your audience. For example, amigos! That’S huge! What I would do is just take that freaking photo of a really meaningful caption and describes you and what you do put that as a Facebook or Instagram ad and show it to only migos followers.
People who are fans of me goes, I am Telling You they are going to come by on your page, a big host shit, I’m also like, because I’m I know a lot of guys if you target lot of guys, they listen to me, goes they’re, probably also Into basketball, so you know what I mean like, I feel like what you should do is distribution is simple ads. It’S it’s literally. What five dollars a day you can app at in just take your best content that you think people would be super interested in which is probably a photo and then insert yourself into it and then get that distribution down, because you already know what to post.
I feel like if you just want more followers triads, it’s the most targeted and fastest way: okay, okay and then one last question yeah a lot of photos of myself. I don’t want it to just become all about me, like I kind of want to invite value. To my see my followers, how would you say going about balancing like inserting myself into to my posts versus I know providing that most of people come for the other stuff? I assume.
Let me give you example. There’S a reason. Why Will Smith Will Smith? The page like Will Smith’s Instagram is better than a Will Smith’s Instagram like there’s a reason, my quote: Instagram pages, don’t do as well as maybe the personal page. I don’t think, there’s anything wrong with incident yourself in it, and why do you think it’s wrong? I feel like personal touches. People want to see face-to-face interaction, just because you put a selfie in it, doesn’t make it invaluable the values in the caption, the photos, just entertainment.
I don’t think you should worry about that. Okay, okay, so you think it’s fine to post more photos of myself as long as I’m providing value in the caption, I think that’s, what’s best people kind of want to see you kind of in the mix. I think that’s what makes you if you wanted to start just a. I don’t know editor page without you that would that be different story, but this is your page. This is like your page right, so you need to add yourself into it.

I’M talking about how to go through and strategically Leverage and use that Facebook ad, so that we can go through and Compile likes and comments from all the different ad sets that we’re going through and creating.
Now. The thing is, is when we go through and we create multiple ad sets Like, let’s say we’re, creating a campaign, and we want to get conversions. We want to get leads on our landing page Right and then, if we go through, we want to use that same ad, but we duplicate the ad set. What happens is Facebook actually Duplicates that ad and so it’ll be the same exact ad, but it’ll it’ll create a completely new one.
It doesn’t carry anymore over of any of the likes and the comments. So We don’t want this because, like if somebody goes through and let’s say you’re targeting one ad set is targeting, Let’s say Texas right, another ad says targeting Florida or whatever It might be. You know obviously, ad sets are targeting different audience types, whether its geographic location or interest or whatever It might be.
If someone in Florida likes your post, okay Or they have a positive comment or something like that, You want people in Texas to see that same exact thing. Right like or I mean That’s, probably a bad example, because geographical location can kind of get iffy. But let’s say you go going through you’re targeting different interests. You want people to go through and see that there’s a lot of social proof That is the power of Facebook Advertising, or I seen that other people.

We carry over the comments We carry over the shares and then we hit publish and we are set and ready to go.
So that is how you can go through and 10x is social proof With your facebook advertising. I want to go through and take those ads that already have bikes already had comments already had everything and Just kind of carry them over Like I have some ads that have almost 2,000 likes on those which that’s a lot of social proof right there like.
That is a ton where you know If somebody hits that sees that ad, like wow, hardly like almost 2,000 people have liked this They’re a lot more likely to go through and pay attention, as opposed to you know an ad that has absolutely no likes no comments, Because then, like Humans, just out of nature guys, They don’t want to be the first one to take action, They’re kind of scared, They’re, hesitant They’re, like whoa, I don’t know, and so that’s why.
I, like all these little social proof, things where you go to websites now. You know like have a little thing to pop up at the bottom. It’Ll say like hey this person just bought five minutes ago, or this person just bought ten minutes ago And then or if you’re liking a live event and there’s a seller on stage. They sell something, and then one person runs the back. It kind of triggers that up those other people to go through and run back to the back of the room to buy whatever they’re Selling right, Because, like no one’s right in the back, You don’t want to be that awkward person like you’re running the back.
We’Re like, let’s say you know you are in a live event or you’re in some room Someone’s like hey, who here Does this like? Who here, You know, Choose their food with their mouths open or something kind of weird. You don’t want to be that weird person like raising your hand, So it’s the same thing with all this stuff guys. That is the point of Facebook. That is the point of Instagram all these social networks and the social networks, Advertising platforms.
If you can get that social proof, unlike you know, Google banners, You can’t really see how many people are clicking on those banners. You can’t see any of that other stuff, And so this is huge guys. So this is a quick refresher. All you got to do. Is you hit preview on the ad? You pull it up, So it just shows this look at this. It’S just showing this app And then this is the post ID right here. We just copy that come back over here.
We use use existing posts, enter the post ID paste it in there submit, hit, publish and we are done. We are good to go So anyway, guys. We know that Does Google know that We shall find out Right But the thing is not Everyone has all 1,000 pieces, Some people are new, Some people have been Doing it for a long time, and Google doesn’t necessarily care that you have all the pieces in The thing that Google cares about is that you have more than the next guy. You could have maybe 10 pieces and if you’re in not a very Competitive space then yeah you’re going to appear on the first page, So these eight tips that We’Re going to talk about are going to help you to Start putting those pieces in to get started on your SEO.
Journey for local businesses Perfect. So, let’s jump into the tips. What’S tip number one Tip number one for local businesses: Everybody needs this. Is you need to create or claim your Google My Business Profile, Google, My Business? Is this Tool that Google has created that allows users to see all Of your business information in one place, We did a article all about This so go check it out, so you can deep dive, but basically, if you don’t have a profile, You need to go, create one and, if you haven’t claimed your profile, meaning that your profile exists.
But you didn’t necessarily do It or some user created that you need to claim it. So that you can update it with all the right information Right, You need to make sure It’S in your control, Don’t let it out to the World for anyone to add It’s yours, So tip number two is that you need to optimize your profiles, It’s great to have it created, but if you don’t have all the information that Google is looking for, then they’re not going to recommend your business over someone else.
So that means having your Business name correct your address: your phone number, your hours of operation, Those are the basics that most people do, but optimizing it really Means going a level below that so adding photographs, adding your logo adding pictures of your building, so that was when people are Actually going to your business, they know what it looks like If you’re a restaurant include pictures of dishes.
And what you’re known for so that way, people have Lots more information when they’re, looking at your Google, My Business page, So those are the key things That you need to do to optimize If there’s reviews that are outstanding, you need to respond to All of those reviews You need to encourage your Customers to go and leave reviews, because that also plays a part In how you’re going to rank against other local business profiles, All right, Morgan What’S tip number three Tip number three: is you Need to add your business to relevant business directories.
These are other sites. That their main business is promoting other Businesses like yourself, and so you need to make Sure that your business, not only is there but the Information is correct and the great thing It’S an easy back link. Absolutely So it really helps with your SEO to make Sure that your business anywhere people are looking At these business directories, your business shows up All right, which brings Us to tip number four Tip number four is to Add your business address to your website.
It sounds pretty plain and simple, but a lot of websites don’t have that So again to increase your rankings. This is one thing that not Only Google is looking for, but your users, if they’re wanting to visit your business, they want to have the address. Very prominently placed So put it in the footer. Have a separate page about your location, Just make sure that it’s there Visible and very prominent All right so should We put a Google Maps thing on the site too.
Yeah that helps That’s. Visual People can click it. They can see exactly where you’re located the cross streets. So that’s Always helpful as well so just make sure that you actually have the address called out. And written out next to that Perfect, which brings us to tip number five, What’s tip number five, Make sure that your NAP is consistent across the web. What’S NAP, Name I like naps, I mean well ( laughter, ) Name address phone number, So you need to make sure That those three things are consistently formatted everywhere, So pick one and then Update it on your website, [ Nealey ], Stick with it, Update it on your Google, My Business and then update it anywhere.
Else where your website appears, If you don’t own those websites, Email, the owner and say: “: Hey: can you update this?” And most likely they will but just make sure it’s Consistent everywhere Perfect To number six, what do we got? You need to update your home, page’s, meta, title and meta description, The meta title and meta Description are things on your website that you control how your website shows Up on the search results, So whatever the meta title, Is that’s what will appear on the search engine results page and then the little description below This is a great opportunity for you to let your clients Know what you’re about So, if you are a coffee shop in Seattle, maybe you should have That, in your meta, title and description Put your location, Put more information about your business.
So that way, your users Know what you’re about Right and most website builders or applications that you use have a section for you. To add a meta title, a meta keyword and meta descriptions. If you don’t know how to go. In the backend and do it, which most of us don’t want to right So if you need help just contact, whoever you’re Hosting your site with They’ll, probably be able to help you get that information there.
Because if you don’t set anything Google will just assume Whatever it wants to put there – and it may not always be relevant to what you want to Invoke to your audience All right Morgan! What do We got for tip number seven Tip number. Seven is just to make sure that all of your other Seo elements are in place Make sure that you have great Content on your website Make sure that your Source code is formatted in the way that Google likes to see it, Make sure that you have a great number of high-quality backlinks that are pointing back to your site.

All about the basics of SEO check it out right here, So it’s super relevant to make sure your site is structured in a Way that Google basically wants so on your site, those H1 Tags, like you mentioned it’s basically, a code On the site that says “, This is my most relevant Tag line,”, if you will So only one H1 tag per site.
Images are super important. Because Google cannot read images, but it can read text. So that’s that little description there Most website, builders or Applications, like Word Press, has a place for you to add those All right. Anyone really can pay to have their business. Back, which is really awesome, So it’s Google vetting certain businesses and making sure that they Provide a great experience, There’s extra levels, you Have to do to qualify for the Google guarantee, but it’s really great and Stands out in the search results and people love it All right guys.

So once you tell me a little bit about that story that that that would really resonate with the kind of people that follow me around got a developer, centric audience.
So your your journey into being a business guy and how how you went about learning so so late. I actually right out of college, worked a job at Procter & Gamble, doing kind of hardcore web development stuff, and in a couple months I found myself working in on marketing campaigns and, as a result, by the time I graduated, I had a offer to be an Assistant brand manager, procter & gamble, so like really hardcore marketing in the largest company in the world, and so that was intimidating.
It was really scary. You know coming from an engineering background, coming from a programming back where you know what you’re talking about most of the time yeah and you can really kind of understand what you’re doing and use kind of fundamental ideas to make your job easier and going into a Business position – and you know not having my MBA that was very intimidating, and so it didn’t make sense for me to go to school to get a job already had.
And so I basically decided to give up on the credentialing part, but not on the education, and so I went to barnes a noble and the Cincinnati Public Library and I started reading right and six years later, I’ve read thousands of books and have kind of taken That jumble of information and made sense of that sense of it, which is the personal NBA first Llambias so and you’ve got a community that goes along with this website right there on the front of the cover personal NBA com.
That’S right! So you! Your mission is not just about doling out information as static form, but you actually have a community of people that you helped out actively and and helping helps each other out. So we have a community of thousands of people from all over world who are in the same situation. They may be a creative person or a programmer or designer or an architect, and they need the business knowledge, but they don’t need the piece of paper that says they theoretically know something, and so the purpose of the personal MBA is to help people understand the fundamentals Of business, but then to connect people from all over the world who are trying to get a world-class business education, but on their terms.
So do you do you deal with mostly like boots trappers or do you do you have advice for folks that want to seek funding kind of like it’s very common in the valley, one of the beats that we cover so so, what’s? What’S what’s your advice, I guess, or what what things you have to say to people that are in this, like kind of a bubbly atmosphere right now or money’s, getting handed out left and right? What are some of the things you tell them to look out for in that kind of environment in that kind of business totally.
I really advocate that anyone who’s trying to start a business, whether they’re, bootstrapping it or whether they’re trying to get funding for it. They really need to understand the fundamentals of what businesses and how it works. If you’re trying to raise money, the clearer you are about how the business will come together and make money the easier it will be to talk to a VC and show them a plan that makes sense and actually get the funding.
So really businesses have five parts. Every business create something of value, they attract attention which is marketing, they close sales transactions right, they deliver what they promise and they make more money than they spend enough to keep going right. That’S a business right, and so with a bootstrapper. I tell them basically start there, that’s essentially the basic, the the essentials of a very basic business plan and then, if you’re, trying to get funding, you take those fundamentals and just add on another layer which is.
This is going to be a solid business, but the people who are lending you money or giving you money and investment need to see a return, and so you do the math for them and the clear you can lay that out the more effectively you can stand In front of the VC and say this is a plan, that’s worth investing millions. So I imagine, since you’ve got your finger on the pulse of this this world of the you know the bootstrap and the startup guys.
So what are some of the new, because VC universe, the VC universe, has really changed in the last year or so really, maybe a couple years, definitely the last decade. So what has what has been the biggest new problems for folks that are trying to go that route that didn’t exist before yeah? I think it’s, some! The new problem is a couple decades ago. It’S like anything that might hypothetically make sense it.
You know, vc’s were making very large bets on very tenuous ideas and making a lot of them and hoping just a couple of them worked we’re getting a little bit more bubbly now, but vc’s really want to see a solid business model. Where are you charging or who are you selling to where’s the money coming in? What multiple can they expect on what what they have given and so the business fundamental stuff? It really never changes so you’re, saying, basically, is what I’m here using hearing you say is that business business sense is more important now than it may have been.
You can’t just be a great hacker with a dream totally totally. You have to have a plan to bring in revenue from real paying customers and the clear you can prove to vc that you have those the easier it will be to raise money very good and you got it. I just don’t feel anything, but I think this planter currently flared up it flared up in basically July and I think it flared up because I was running 40 nur’s and, like big, you know, mountain runs, Salomon shoes, very aggressive, not taking care of the feet enough.
I think that’s what caused it? Yes, yeah and if you’re doing all that Burt yeah – and I don’t know how yeah I mean that can that can really cause it a lot. I know that a lot of like mountain ultra runners have issues in their Achilles region. Just because you’re climbing so much and that’s so much torque through that heel and up into that soleus region yeah it’s kind of an avoidable and I’m not stretching enough and just you know, maintenance, yeah, doing the right kind of strength, work and exercise to keep that Strengthened enough to do all that climbing, so it’s what it’s November 23rd! No, what is it 21st, so I would the season for 2018 racing isn’t quite over so my break like I’m planning it.
Basically, a two-week break YouTube in December, but I don’t want to stop yet so I’m basically trying to push off the rest until basically like mid December. So I’m hoping that’s why I’m trying to experiment and figure out what yeah I mean. I would really try these just give him a chance and get used to him. Just because I mean I know that you know everybody’s different, but I’ve seen so many success stories with people recovering from planner in this kind of a shoe.
This maximum cushion just at least for recovering from the player, and then you can go kind of back to a lower volume shoe, but this is just I mean from my personal experience and from a lot of people have helped. After the turkey trot – probably Friday, probably Saturday, Sunday, Monday Tuesday, I’m excited Thank You Jessica for taking care of me today for explaining taking the time you guys saw it in the store. I’M going on this Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day when you’re reading this I’m grateful for the opportunity to shop at running shoe stores. Now I do have a confession to make. I have a confession to make occasionally, occasionally I order stuff from running warehouse all right and listen. I’Ve got nothing against running warehouse. You know they’re a business, they got to make money, but at the end of the day I try to support local running shoe stores and therefore the question of the day is this: what is your go-to running shoe store that you shop at, because I asked that Question and why why do you shop at that particular store service, location pricing, the employees race series, all these different factors that go into running shoe selection? So why? What what is your go-to running shoe store and why do you go there? Now, okay, like I grew up in Buena Vista Colorado, two hours away from any running shoe store so in high school, like we had to drive to you, know to the big city to go, get our running shoes and yeah.
It was a little bit of a challenge. Now you can order shoes online, but obviously, but getting into a running shoe store where you can test the shoe before you buy. It is critical. It’S critical for us runners, you know like when you put on a shoe in a store and it’s got the right fit. It’S a heaven on earth, you’re, singing Alleluia and therefore that’s how I felt when I put on the hokey Clifton 5, and so that’s why? I’M giving the shout out a big shadow continued shout out to Roadrunner Sports, we’re taking the time again to explain this shoot to me.

Maybe you haven’t hit that first hundred or first thousand or even first ten thousand and in my opinion SoundCloud is still going to be super valuable. So this article is all about how you can gain traction and gain followers on SoundCloud in 2019. Let’S go so it’s 2019 and streaming is becoming more and more popular for music.
There’S SoundCloud, there’s Spotify, there’s Apple music. There’S all these different platforms. However, in my opinion, SoundCloud is still one of the most vital ones, because in a lot of ways it’s still the only kind of social network of music. You have Spotify, you have all these other ones, but SoundCloud is the only one where you can really comment. Communicate interact with your fans, interact with artists, you want to message and be in contact with, and I still think SoundCloud is still very valid.
It’S still very good, and you know who knows two months from now six months from now they could figure their stuff. Oh and they could still become one of the most popular platforms for music, especially underground music. So let’s just get into these ten tips now the first one doesn’t have to do with SoundCloud itself has to do with you and its quality. The quality of your music is going to be absolutely vital for standing out on SoundCloud SoundCloud.
You have to just dig through a constant pile of crap and, in my opinion, the only music that is going to continuously hook. People in is high quality music. Now, I’m not saying you have to be Skrillex or phlume or Diplo, or you know any of these levels of musicians. But what I recommend doing is listen to listening to your favorite artists, artists. You aspire to sound like or you think you sound like and really objectively try and look at it and see if you are 80 % as good as they are.
I would say to succeed on Soundcloud and to stand out. You really have to be at least 80 % as good as the people you aspire to sound like, and if you don’t honestly, I think you’ll just get forgotten and your music will quickly fall into the pile and you’re not going to stand out. And it’s just going to be a lot of effort when I think spending that time on social media could be better spent on trying to grow your skills versus that so step one before you really even think about getting yourself on soundcloud.
I would make sure your music is about 80 % as good as those of you aspire to sound like quality. So you can put your best foot forward now. Tip number two goes into the whole quality versus quantity debate and it comes down to quantity or more so consistency. I think consistency is very important. A song has a specific lifespan and it’s actually starting to get shorter and shorter. But what I mean by that and what I mean by the lifespan of a track is say: you put out a new track well over the course of say a month and even a short is now three weeks even two weeks, even one week in the day And age of music, we live in it kind of has a lifespan where you gain all this traction, maybe get YouTube.
Support blog support, support from your friends. You gain this new attention for it, you gain these followers. You gain these fans, you gain these listens and it reaches a peak and then it quickly steeply starts to cut off and the track quickly becomes forgotten for the most part in this day and age of music. Unless, of course, it’s a masterpiece and it’s a it’s a very standout song, but for the most part musics just going to go up, have a lifespan and it’s going to go down now.
If you’re, putting one song out every two months, you’re not going to stand out and you’re going to quickly be forgotten, just think about you as a listener. How many new artists are always on your radar, new music and how many of them to you really stand out and are ones you keep going back to and very likely it’s only the ones where they’re constantly in your face constantly providing you with a new song And for personally, I’m just speaking personally here, it takes about 4 to 5 songs from artists for that to kind of click in my head and be like.
Oh, I like this artist. This is an artist. I want to follow and pay attention to say. For example, I don’t know an artist I I recently fell in love with would be like bad computer, whose releases a lot on monstercat. I heard one song of his. I really liked it and I gave him a follow in the hopes that maybe he’ll put out more stuff that I’ll really like. And luckily I followed him around the time where he started to consistently release on monstercat, probably once a month, and those songs were just constantly on my radar, like good new song, good new song, good new song and that solidified him to me.
As one of my favorites, while there could be another artist where they put out a single and it’s like one of the best singles I’ve ever heard, but if they don’t put something out, I’m going to quickly forget about them and not consider them. One of my favorites one of those go-to artists, one of those artists that, if they played in my town, I’d, want to go see or one of those artists that I’d follow on Soundcloud form or I would eventually go through my soundcloud followers and be like.
Oh, I got the single from this person, I’m not going to follow them anymore unfollow, so you need a really good balance of quality and consistency, and it might take a while to get to that point where your skills are at the point where you can write At least one quality song and release it per month, but I recommend the quicker you can do that. The quicker that, consistent that that lifespan can build on itself, because once your track hits the peak of its plays and follows, then you drop that next track and every all those new people who just start paying attention to you are going to listen to that new Song and it’s going to keep going up, you’re going to keep going up instead of kind of getting a bunch of new followers and some of them disappearing or not interacting with your work anymore.
So number two was consistency. Now number three is a little less useful in 2019, but I still wouldn’t rule it out and that is download gates. Now, if you don’t know how to download gate, a download gate is a website in a a technique that you can use to set up a download for your song, where, when someone downloads your song, instead of asking for money, you ask for some sort of social Currency and that could be a SoundCloud follow.
That could be a Facebook light, and in this case, because we’re doing SoundCloud follows in SoundCloud growth, you do it for a SoundCloud follow, maybe even a repost, maybe even a comment, because a bunch of comments on your track will make it look really good and give Social proof to the fact that your track is worth listening to and people like it, so those are going to be websites like the artist Union tone.
Den hive fan gate, there’s there’s so many right now, they’re so easy to set up, and it’s it’s really as easy as you set up a download gate for a track go to any of those websites, easy breezy. And then, when someone wants to download your track, they’ll have to like it repost it follow you, and hopefully that repost and that follow will either lead them to listening to more of your music in the future or that repost getting the attention of others and the Reason I say it’s still valuable is even though the average listener is probably just streaming your track, putting it in a playlist putting it in their favorites DJs and people who still like to collect songs on their computer, primarily DJ’s are still going to want to download Your music, I know myself whenever I have a show coming up.
I probably download like a hundred new songs, and I have to go through those download gates pretty much for every single one I buy very little music or maybe a third to a quarter while most of the music I’m still going through a download gate to acquire. So this is going to be super beneficial because you’re going to get reposts you’re going to get likes, you can get favorites, maybe even comments, and it can take a track that has no traction and if it’s good enough people will download it and it will get Traction so I recommend still using to download gates in 2019.
Now the next technique is using download gates for stuff other than music and providing values, and what I mean by that is: yes: you’ll have DJ’s that use download gates, but that’s still very few. However, one way down low gates are still really valuable is to provide some sort of value for your audience or prospective audience, be it through a sound through a sample pack. Maybe you write a blog that can only be accessed through a download gate.
So what you can do is you can create a really desirable item, property of some sort, sample, packs presets inside look article. I could you can get really creative with it and you can actually put it behind a download gate where someone has to use a download gate to access it, and this is actually how I got a lot of my following and how cymatics the company I used To work for gained a ton of their following is where, if you want to download a sample pack, if you want to download preset something like that, you have to use a download gate or stems.
If someone wants to remix your song or something like that, they have to use this download gate and for me that gets way more downloads than a song to a download gate. So tip number four is provide value for your audience and put that behind it download Gate where they have to then follow you repost it or something like that now tip number five for growing. Your soundcloud is going to be repost trading or joining repost circles.
Now there’s two sort of different things here. The first is repost trading, where you can go to websites which I think like repost Network or things like that, where you can essentially put your song up on there and you can kind of get asked for a bid. Essentially that where someone can offer to repost it for you reposting one of their songs and the reason I say bid, because a lot of times has to do with how many followers you have so like.
I have a SoundCloud with 15k, so I can ask an account with 15k to do a trade, for example, and then I just you know, select their song hit, yes, make an offer. If we agree, I don’t even have to do any of the work it’ll actually manually, do it for you for 24 hours, so if you’re, really new to SoundCloud using these websites to just create all these repost trades and get songs to repost is really useful because Reposting on Soundcloud is, in my opinion, one of the best things and worse things about it and my opinion kind of ruins SoundCloud because it kind of ruined your feed and it ruined the cleanliness of just following people.
You like, however, I’m not going to avoid the elephant in the room I’m going to take advantage of it, so I’m going to use websites like that to set up these repost networks. Now, on top of that, you can also set up repost networks with your friends. If you have friends who are all producers create, like a a group, chat a discord, something like that, where every time one of you releases a song, all of you are going to repost it periodically, and that way you can join forces with your friends, and everyone Gets each other’s support every time you put out a song cuz, it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere and it can be just a great way to start snowballing and get the attention you want that you yourself may not have with a brand new or very small Soundcloud, the next tip is going to be using your other social media.
Now this may seem very obvious, but using your Twitter, your Facebook, your Instagram, your snapchat, to push a song when it when it’s out is very beneficial. Now my main order word of advice here, though, is to grow those social media or social media separately, and not just making those a self promotional platform. You want to give people a reason to follow your Facebook, a reason to follow your Instagram, a reason to follow your Twitter, so you want to be providing value content on those platforms that isn’t just always here’s my soundcloud link, here’s my soundcloud link because nothing is Going to get you unfollowed or liked quicker, however, that being said, those social medias are going to be a great way to just get that initial traction, especially your personal Facebook account, because your other social media is probably going to be as small as your soundcloud or Within the same range, but your personal Facebook has your friends and they already interact with you and communicate with you not to mention you can private message: people you can private message.
Your best friends give them a song, ask them for support and, if you’re fairly new, to growing a sound fairly new to growing social media over all your friends are very likely to support you now. Someone like me, who’s been at it for five years. If I sent people links they’re so tired of seeing it, so it’s probably not very effective, but this tutorial isn’t for people who have been on South Club for five years.
This is people who are just growing and some people who are pretty much starting 2018-2019 so use your other social media to grow your soundcloud. The next tip is going to be YouTube promotional blogs to grow your soundcloud, so on YouTube. There are tons of blogs that exclusively upload other people’s music and what you can do, every time you put out a song is you can connect with these blogs? They usually have submission emails in their About section, collect dozens of them in a spreadsheet email them all.
Personally, one by one, and even if just one picks it up, and they include your download gate in the description say, your song got a thousand to ten thousand plays on one of these blogs, which is very realistic. You know some of these blogs can do very well and, let’s even just be conservative, let’s say you got a thousand plays, even if one percent of that thousand decided to actually download the song.
So one in a hundred plays that’s still ten more followers than you had the day before, and ten followers is a big deal. You shouldn’t take that for granted. So using YouTube’s promotional networks to actually get your music heard is very beneficial and I recommend using a promo strategy and having a promo plan every time you release a song or maybe you’re, hitting them up two weeks before you’re telling them hey my songs.
Coming out. This date, would you be interested you’re, starting to communicate with these people and find out who they are on a personal level. Building connections with them YouTube is still a very valid way of promoting music in 2019, and I still highly recommend it, especially with YouTube music becoming a thing where now people will actually be listening to and streaming music through YouTube music specifically and then, if they ever Choose to download it or see your name and like it it’ll probably convert.
However many even however little will convert to followers on Soundcloud. The next step is going to be joining the community. So one of the things I was preaching in the beginning that I like about SoundCloud, is it still very much a social network you’re still very much communicating reposting, commenting private messaging, all these things and if you join the community and you start to find artists and Participate in their work, they’re so much more likely to check yours.
Oh now, I’m not recommending to go to you know a huge producer and spam their song with comments to check out your work, but I recommend finding musicians around your level and giving them really constructive. Creative or kind feedback that you truly mean listen to their music, tell them what you liked about it tell them what you think maybe check out a couple of their songs. Don’T ever ask them to check out yours, but just be a part of the community and participate in their work and you’re more likely to build a community and have people to start to connect with yours, one of my best friends in the world, Sam winter him And I actually met on soundcloud and he’s actually from Ottawa, and this was back when you’re both started, and I was doing just that.
Every day I was like grinding, I was just like finding music and I was participating. I was communicating, he was one of them. We started private messaging years later. He moved to live with me in Vancouver and we started a business. I eventually worked for cymatics and lived together for like a year and a half, so you never know you know. Being part of the community is a great way to just start to build your inner circle and just really grassroots connect and build a community from the ground up and lastly, I recommend branding and when I say branding I mean really perfecting how your soundcloud looks.
You want really clean links, a really clean bio, taking advantage of the image and the header on top of it, having a really good name. That’S really easy for people to search and remember memorable song names that are probably related and ideally even a consistent, sound or style. Now, if you’re still really new musician, you may still be finding that so don’t hurt yourself and beat yourself up too much about finding that.
However, I just really recommend the sooner you build a brand. You build a consistent, sound, a style and aesthetic something that really sticks in people’s minds when they see it. It’S going to help people want to follow you and will recognize your song in their feed and are more likely to check it out again later, so there we go guys. That was ten tips on how you can grow a SoundCloud in 2019. I still think SoundCloud is very valid and even if you’re just starting from Ground Zero, now it’s never too late and there’s still a lot of tips and tricks.

I need to know because I need to know what our delay is. We’Ve got some prizes to give away tonight. I’M making up for a lot of nights where I wasn’t live and there were some things going on which I’m going to tell you a few things here: real, quick and then we’re going to get started. It’S going to be a fun night tonight I can guarantee you that we’re going to have some crazy stuff going away all right, we’re at 30 seconds all right.
So it’s about the same. We have about a 30 to 35. Second delay excellent. Okay. So let me reset that, let’s put that aside, so here’s what we got going on tonight, so we’re going to be building this right here. This is the new Diablo s3. This is a a seriously mini, very small quad. That flies like a full-size. In my opinion, okay, I’m obviously biased to this, because I created it, but I will tell you the things about it and then we are going to get to building one.
I do have to pull the parts off the table like I said they just got done being cut, so it is a as a three inch quad the arms are the arms. As you can see here, the arms have the arm lock feature in them, so they lock in place and then you tighten down for a request from a customer. I actually had this done in two ways with 30-30 boards it came out 30, 30 and 20 20. Okay – and so that was one of the things that was asked to me and then this particular build is only 10 millimeters thick, so it uses 10 millimeter spacers enough for an all-in-one flight controller and ESC and then on the back.
As you can see, there is the VTX and the cutout has been put in the top plate, and this is actually the HD LRC VTX there. You can extend this to 15 millimeters and double stack it if you want or do whatever you want to do, but for the low-profile design. This is it and I’m running the brother hobby well than chaos. 14:07 3600 kV motors they made for us, and these are the tornadoes here, the 1407 tornadoes I do have a CAD X on the front and all in all – and this has actually, this is actually made for long range, so there’s an 9mm inside it and it Flies a 4 s battery a 3 and a 4 s all right, so I have a 3 s right here.
This is the one that I used in the picture when we did this, and so it flies a full size battery. It is made to fly like a full-size quad. It handles unbelievably well. These are HQ props on here and then, as you can see, we can tighten it down. We’Ve got our full-size battery on here and let’s this will buckle right in I’m not going to fly. It right now, obviously, but I did test it. It was extremely smooth with stock pids to be honest with you so anyways.
This is what we’re going to be building tonight, guys and we’re going to start giving stuff away right. So I’m not about I’ve got a ton of stuff. I want to give away some cool stuff. I mean some fun stuff right. I’Ve got some announcements to make. Okay, so give me one sec I’ll, be right back, okay, so parts are off the table. I’Ll put this quad here and I will tell you what we’re working with here. They’Re fresh cut, so give me a second I’m going to grab. I won’t be sanding them right now, because I want to get into the build itself. I want to go over this with you guys and show you some of the cool stuff that we’re doing and kind of discuss the frame and anything else and also answer to questions you may have I mean I, you know it’s.
It’S we’ve got some cool things coming up and I’ve been reading about what you guys are wanting and what you’re hoping to see come out from us and what we can develop. So you know any brainstorming that we can do together. That’S kind of what I enjoy doing here and we do have some more low profile stuff. Now, what you’re going to notice on the frames is, I mean I’ve really cut back on the frames and started focusing on the ones that we had plus fine-tuning some of them, I’m not really looking as far as the quantity of frames anymore.
At the beginning, I wanted to have a real, diverse selection, but now what my goal is is to take what we’ve got and really just focus on adapting them to new to do changes new hardware and just making them better. I mean it’s it’s the way. It’S the way, I think it should be, and I don’t think you can do a hundred things and give your attention to all of it. So I’ve kind of slimmed down a little bit on how many frames I want to make and really just spoken up focus on making these better the input from you guys has been.

There’S there’s with father Day with Father’s Day, coming up thanks David okay, with Father’s Day coming up.
I thought that this would be a great time to also kind of make an announcement here and no it’s not that I’m having a kid, hey, Ben, how you doing so! Don’T don’t anybody any crazy ideas, nobody’s pregnant, always having kids but tell you what? Let’S take a break: let’s do this real, quick and then right after this we’re going to go ahead and give our first prize away alright. So, let’s let me first welcome you all and tell you how much I appreciate y’all tuning in okay.
No, I don’t sleep. I try not to sleep, I’m going to share a couple things with you and I’m doing this only thanks playing. I saved all of you all the dads out there happy Father’s Day this Father’s Day is going to be a very interesting one for me. So I what I’m going to do is I’m going to share something with you very quickly and this way on Sunday on Father’s Day, you may know to read out for this okay.
So, as some of you know, over the last year and a half person I have been in and out of court for my my kids, my boys right, I love them. They’Re there, the nuts right there the best and I won’t get into all of it, but I will tell you that you know for those of you that didn’t know and didn’t know what have you there was this guy and he was their mom’s fiance and the Boys had come to me and said that this guy was punching them in their hitting them in their privates right.
My two oldest sons, my oldest in my middle and this guy’s name by the way, is Timothy, Brooks Bert. I’M just going to go ahead and put it out there, because Tim this Father’s Day is a special one for you. Okay, so so they came to me in July of 2017 and they asked me for some help. They said dad he’s hitting us he’s knocked us to the ground. It hurts, he pulls his pants down. He’S plays these weird games: bla bla bla, I said okay, so we went to court Tim got arrested and but their mom took his side and said that the kids were not telling the truth.
Okay and I, but I battled that. Unfortunately, if you look at me, I’m tatted head-to-toe and our judge couldn’t make the trial. So we had an associate judge who never let us speak. We we were supposed to have 10 day trial lasted a day and a half. We couldn’t call witnesses and we did try to call a witness which was the guy that was hitting my kids. She said: no, that is now an appeal all right now, there’s a reason I get to this point, so it has been extremely difficult at the end of it all the judge didn’t know at the end of the day and a half, the judge did not hear Anything she actually didn’t even know about what had happened to the kids and the kids were supposed to be able to speak to her and she didn’t.
Let them speak to her. She basically, as a matter of fact at one point, asked, was trying to make a ruling, and I said he didn’t understand and I’ve got the transcripts they’re online and I’ll. Tell you what I go see him, but long story short. It’S an appeal. The whole deal got screwed and their mom stayed engaged to this guy or stayed with him right after she lied and said it didn’t happen, and then she admitted it did happen and that she was there.
But we never got to present that in court because it judge stop the trial right. It was trial spinners. So when you get to present it so long story short, this has been always about money and, if you’re a dad or mine, don’t you know it? Doesn’T that whatever point being is the court system? You tell your kids trust in the justice system. You call CPS, you expect them to do their job and they did. They were very concerned and they stepped in safe harbor stepped in and reviewed my kids and through those interviews, the Sheriff’s Department got involved and the guy got arrested, but both of them lied about it right.
They both lied said it never happened and only later on did their mom admit that she was present. Not only didn’t happen, things happen, but she was present for it and but the judge who actually start heard the case at the beginning, who wanted to know the truth, never heard the case again. So here’s what I’m doing – and this is I’ll get to this point – because it’s Father’s Day coming up and it’s my turn now to get things on track.
I lost time with my kids because of this I stood up for them. Cps got involved, and it’s so funny because you see all these kids getting hurt and they get abducted they get more. There is a kid recently on the news he was in. The doctor’s office had bruises on his face and he told the doctor that my mom he said my mom didn’t mean to hurt me, but she hit him with a belt. They tried to get CPS involved.
Cbi said there wasn’t enough evidence to keep the kid away from his parents. They killed the kid shortly after and buried him somewhere in the field in their home. Stories like that are happening all the time, but I called CPS and they got involved. But the court judge Stovall I’ll, say her name. Judge Stovall is a worthless, worthless judge and I hope I no see guys here’s what I do know I know and I’m not trying to get away from the build.
But I said I would do this because father Day is coming up. I know that my ex-wife or name is Marissa Marissa Maloof. I know that her attorney reades these because they used my articles against me. They take pictures of my inventory, claiming I have all this money and blah blah blah, so I hope they’re reading, because here’s my deal judge Stovall. You ask the bailiff for the gun, because you got tired of me saying I understand you and the lawyers had discussions about tattoos being in pornos and how basically, how dirty they are.
And then you ask somebody to give me gloves to cover the tattoos on my hands. Remember using these tattoos with the crosses. That is a verse from the Bible, Corinthians 1 4, which basically says I thank my God for you. These were for my kids right. You insane woman, but you wanted to cover my tattoos and blah blah blah right. So you came out, be all kinds of waves and not once did you ask about the kids or who hit them or what happened.
So here’s what I’m doing guys and that’s it and we’ll move on. I have property. That’S one thing I do have that I’ve held that I’m giving to my kids, that’s for them not for their mom to take or anybody else, she’s been happy to take everything else: she’s, so money, hungry and so much after the money, and so is her lawyer And everybody else involved that I’m going to put up one piece of property on Sunday, it’s worth a million dollars.
Ok, it’s for sale for 1.2 million actually, but I’m offering to give it for free. I’M going to give it right – and I’m going to say this now so that everybody knows what the hell’s going on: Marissa Tim, Steve Jackson, her attorney, judge Stovall. Let’S see Saunders Roger Saunders, the doctor, who did the criminal, investigate who’s evaluating Tim and kid Harrison all right guys. Here we go. I have a bar worth: 1 million 1.
2 million. I think property. I don’t know I mean when it sells whatever, but it’s listed for 1.2 there’s no cash anymore. You guys have taken all that. What I have is a property. I’M going to put 10 statements. You made that you lied about in court 10 of them under oath. That you guys lied about or that you make comments about like Steve. You lied about something but you’re, not under oath you’re, just a jerk-off attorney cool who lies and you’re a dad by the way, but you have no concept of what that means.
So I’m going to put your lies out: live I’m going to put the transcripts up Marissa, I’m putting up all your lives Tim, I’m coming after you, but it’s Father’s Day and you screwed me with my family. So it’s my time to make sure that we get even on this one right 10 lines. Each lie worth $ 100,000. Every lie that you say everything that I put out there. That is a lie, and you say it’s right and I’m everybody hear this when that bar sells and it’s up for sale.
I give you each $ 100,000 for your lie. If it’s not a lot under oath lies all this that you said right, so Tim, here’s, your here’s, your thing, you said you didn’t touch my kids. You said you didn’t play this game. Where you pull your penis out in front of him. Marissa said you did all right and she said that under oath during her deposition, although she lied in court during the hearing and she lied during your criminal investigation, because you two were still engaged at the time one year after it came out that you had messed With my kids, I didn’t touch you, I didn’t screw with you now I’m going to go ahead and give you a hundred grand if you’re telling the truth swear on my kids $ 100,000 or whatever it is x, divided by ten.
When that bar sells for 500,000. You get 50 thousand 10 lies, if any of you guys told the truth that I’m going to put them up there on Sunday for Father’s Day. It’S time for you guys to answer. So that’s my thing to you guys for everybody else out there guys dad’s happy Father’s Day to y’all to my kids. I love you more than anything to my to my wife, who is the most amazing stepmom who’s endured the most ever.

Thank you for making me a better man and thank you for giving my kids an amazing house to live in to their mom to the guy that hit them and play these stupid games with them naked games. The one who put his hands on my kids and knocked them on the ground haven’t touched you bud and I’m not going to you’ll meet your maker he’ll you’ll answer to him, but God help you, man, I’m giving you a 50 to $ 100,000 chance here to Make some money if what you said was true, but if not everybody’s going to know, you lied same to you, Marissa everybody’s, going to know you lied and you lied about the fact that you were there when the kids got hit.
You lied about the fact that you were there when your fiance pulled his pants down and played games in front of the kids that were inappropriate that you admitted to later and to judge Stovall you made the you made the legal system. Look like a pathetic pathetic system. You didn’t do anything by the book. You didn’t care. You judge me on my tattoos. You had no clue whatsoever. What was going on you guys screwed my family up, it’s my turn to get even this father’s name now with that said guys, let’s get going happy Father’s Day to everyone.

I can only see this comforting. Alright, George, you got it okay, so what we’re going to be doing is we’re working with a top part of this, it is, is a pretty good board. I mean I like so far like. I have no actually no complaints at all, except that the the buzzer and the LEDs are. The buzzer pins are very close here to the end where these caps are, and that really bothered me for soldering, but other than that.
This is a pretty sweet board and that really shouldn’t be an issue for someone. So here’s how it’s going to fit the way this frame is done. The three dots in the front, the three holes in the front, represent where you can mount your camera on a stand, so that is the front of the court now on mine, I turned it sideways and I know you guys don’t like this. I did this for me. I just hard soldered this into the board.
You can keep like a little wire which I’ll put on this one – probably a wire or something, but I’m going to show you how this is going to fit we’re going to get this all put together and we’re clips and we’re going to build this sucker out. Okay, as soon as you guys have a way to do this, you let me know, I’m not ignoring you by any means. One other thing I did want to show you is this bottom plate right here is four here and the what it’s for is.
This is where your this is where your receiver goes, and this way you gain yourself about two more meters on top of the gap of 10 millimeters, so you get about 4 millimeters total and this can actually be removed. So if you have a problem, the receiver or binding or anything, you can actually pull this piece off without having to take the whole quad apart. That was something that I really wanted to do to make it easier, and this worked out real well now I got to find me an R 9mm, so give me one.
Second, I’m going to go grab one I’ll grab a mini. It’S just fine for me for what I’m doing and we’ll get to the binding process. We get to do all of that and have some fun. Ok! So there’s that, and as you can see, what will happen is when this pops in here it’ll actually bolt into the 20/20 mounts. Let me turn it. This way, zoom out a little bit and it’ll it’ll bolt in like this, and you see how it could kinda it can go in and out without having to remove any of the components. So if anything goes wrong with your transmitter or you need to do any work on or any updates on it, it’s very easy to just take out the four screws and you can take your transmitter out, but it’ll sit right there and the cool part is: is The arms as you’ll see here they actually lock around it all right so that all that piece actually has a purpose of keeping the arms in place as well.

I’Ve got to come up with something better because it’s also more difficult when you’re giving more prizes than just one away in a night. They are three millimeter arms where the hell is the club here, so they are three millimeter thick thick regular. But for this build just because I was cutting a two millimeter plate and I wasn’t going to have time to cut a three mil for this, but they do come with and then, as you notice, guys, the frames now, parts of the frames do have lifetime warranties. On this frame, it’s the base plate, we’re going to show you on this built piece, so it’s the base plate the battery plate and the top camera plate.
So any of those break basically send me a picture of it, and all you have to do is pay shipping. I send you a new one. Okay, so the arms will not there’s one thing: I’ve decided I’m not going to put lifetime warranties on there’s no way seen how everybody flies. It’S not happen, but on some parts of the this is the battery plate. Here, it’s very strong plate. I feel comfortable about the main plates that way, you guys don’t have to worry about that.

This I remember from doing the build yesterday, so I have my heat shrink.
I already cut to 65 millimeters, which is right here, so it’s really simple. Just take the heat shrink and slide it over the wire down to the base like that and then snip off the excess, and you have the exact wire length that you need to make these wires perfect and they will reach perfectly see a little little quick trick. So that you don’t sit there all day and try to make sure your wires match just get one eat shrink and do it that way will throw that box out Jeff.
That is the right here. Multi-Star. Let me see, I don’t know what the other details are about. It anyways, it’s a four in one multi star with a 30 amp ESC. It runs d, schat 600. It’S got OSD on it, so it’s got OSD, it’s got the ESC and I’ve got them on the website. If you want to go, if you go to the website, you’ll see them as soon as I’m done. Building the stack by the way, because if you go now, you’ll see that the Diablo s3 is online and the picture is actually of this one, which is the exact same, build it’s running the same board that is going to be.

I’Ve been asked a lot more to do that and I’ve tried to not do it because I wanted people to do it on their own, but to help everyone out. So that’s what I wanted to try to use also to show that this can do a 30-30 stack and that came at the request of Adam so Adam thanks a lot for your input on that he’s Adam actually won the frame during a Genesis, giveaway, but cannot Fly a larger frame where he’s at he has to go with a smaller frame, and so I said, hey give me an idea of what you’d like to see in a smaller frame, and he did and part of that was a 30-30 stack, wider arms that are Durable and so forth, and so thanks to him for his input, yeah, that’s a Nolan one.
I mean it’s this. This is definitely an all-in-one but, like I said, that’s to get it down to 33 mm to get it down to 10 millimeters all right. If you don’t care about the height, then you want to go 15 millimeters. You can do multiple things and I’ll show you here in a second how the UTX is going to go and then you’ll see how it all fits where’s. My trying to find my little 65 he’s straight measuring figures all right, so we almost got all four motors ready.
Okay, so let’s get this mess cleaned up, make sure we get everything. Everything looks good here. Our receiver is good. This is the front. This will go. This way, and so we are safe now to go ahead and tighten down our flight controller, I’m going to go ahead and do that real, quick. It’S a actually I’ll, be honest with you, if I’m not talking, which is hard. But if I’m not talking and doing this, like with the live thing, this build just about a 1-hour build, I was really impressed with how fast this build went together.
When I, when I finished it, it’s very simple because of the board. Thank God. The board makes it a lot easier, so if you guys ever want to try this build, there will be a DIY price. If you want to build it on your own, which I think I should try. It’S pretty easy board to solder to there’s plenty of room here unless you’re going to get to the buzzer the buzzer I like, I said I was really not happy how how tight the buzzer portion was, but that’s out of here over there.
It still who got together just fine, hmm they’re, going to have some fun bro, that’s you’re sure you will have some fun. Okay, so I mean for all purposes. That’S it right. I mean that as far as that goes now, let me show you how the while that’s sitting there getting ready. Let me show you how the VTX works, so I did this for the HTR CVT X. I really do like this VTX and I wanted to make it easy to use now you can use any VTX there are.
There is the mount right here for it, and so I’m going to go ahead and mount that real, quick and you have. These are 2020 spaced apart by the way, so you should have no problem there. So let me show you how this is a good amount now on this cut, this is a cut for me. There is actually on the on the final frame – and I pulled this off before I even check this. If you look at this one here, you’ll see that there are 2020 holes in the back.
I did not cut through on this one, but there are dual mount. So don’t worry about that, but let me go ahead and just show you how this looks. Oh – and I knew one of the things we’re doing guys is our new vinyl system is here, so we’re actually doing all the vinyl overlays for your quad, which is really cool. I mean you know how you get those stickers and decals or whatever that cover the frame. Well, I’m doing those in-house now, so I’m really excited I’ll, be showing you that those will collect too.
But let me just give you an idea of what this is going to look like here now like I said it is done with the HD LRC, but you can use whatever BTX you want if it doesn’t fit this way, it’ll still fit on the 2020s. So don’t panic about that if you’re using a 20/20 it’ll fit the holes are fine, no matter what, but I did do that cut out for this one and I didn’t see any problem with it at the time. So hopefully you guys can benefit from that and most of the VTX to start taking the same shape.
Oh Paul, I just showed them that dragon one but Paul’s the guy getting the dragon one by the way, all right. So you see how that is now. So as this sits on here, you’ll be able to see your blog change and then your antenna goes right here right now, if you don’t use this, like I said, if you don’t use this VTX, it’s fine. You can still lay yours out accordingly, but I just wanted to put that in there as a feature and then I reinforced the arms.
If you look at mine, the arms are rather thin here, I’m not the arms with the extension area for the lipo strap. So what I did was it actually widened it here and brought it in so there’s definitely more strength and then, as you can see, the strap weaves through. So you can don’t have to worry about your clearance underneath the frame and then all I did was lay the strap across take a knife and then cut that path out.
So my battery sticks on the side. This lays and makes it almost perfectly even across so my battery gets a solid, very solid, I’ll call it if fasten is very solid to it. So that’s that all right, let me get the took these arms bounders Paul, I’m excited for yours. I may do something live tomorrow with that dragon Paul. The only problem is this is 2 millimeter, and I needed to do something better than that for this, I’m just going to have to go with a different. Let me just not crank it down that way, because it really should be a three millimeter arm, so the screws are about a millimeter longer than I would like, but hey it’ll work.

There was a lot of frames, but a lot of them. You know, there’s you know after looking at what people have asked for, and I’ve changed some things out, so a lot of them are getting redone or I mean the ones that are on there. Now are the ones that are under Diablo Leviticus and Genesis are they’re. Staying now, it’s some ex class work and and then some some really cool stuff, but carbon I talked to David today about doing carbon fiber molding.
I guess you know the equipment’s here to do it. I just haven’t had a big, I didn’t have a lot of people that were really seem interested in having a carbon fiber moulded, but I used to do fiberglass moulding and then I did carbon fiber molding. So I think we’re going to go ahead and get bring that back out and see if people minute now and then now, we’ve got a few other things up our sleeves that we’re about to do so.
I promise you guys will be happy and everything’s in stock. Here so, if you see yeah, I did change the side up. I did some that it’s to the site this weekend or this week to where the drop downs are easier. But one of the things to note is that everything you see on the site if it’s available, meaning you doesn’t stay out of stock and there’s very few things that stay out of stock. It’S here in Texas right! It’S here like right behind me, everything that I have is sitting in two rooms around me, so you don’t have to worry about it coming from overseas or delayed shipping.

So because the error was on me and it’s my fault, I replaced the batteries and paid for the shipping, which was because it took care of the guy. He. He was very nice to be patient with me and it takes a while to ship things to Australia. So I got him I think four day or five days, shipping now with the right battery, so I mean we make our errors to please understand it happens.
I can’t do it all right, but we keep everything here. So you know these take care of you guys. You have nothing to worry about in that regard, you may end up with five extra batteries or something because I got sidetracked. I tried to have my my youngest son he’s about to turn eight and I actually gave him a job, so he could earn some money by helping me and my wife pack shipments. He helped me on those batteries, but I’m going to take the blame for it.

Let me get this: let’s get this motor soldered there! Okay! Well, you know what that’s the better the cameras for you see. If we can make this work and out of work, oh damn there you go now we can zoom out, and that gives a pretty decent picture. I guess that’s crap. I can never figure all this stuff out, but there you go yeah, let’s try it and then let’s just move it off camera all right. Let’S prep the board yeah.
I know and that’s one of the problems Chris I’ve been trying to figure out honestly. I just got a advertisement or a: what do you call it eight? What did it call as they send them like a email? That’S talking about the new stuff, emotional, email or whatever, and you know what I am. I am a little concerned about it so, but I did want to do something with a little bit more metal work, but I think by the end of the day, actually it’s a little misleading, because I, when I was reading their last in the last email, it Was talking about the cost differences, but what they leave out of the cost difference is the cost of the printer.
So, where they’re like hey, this would cost you five grand or two grand to have made blah blah or 600 bucks, and then they get to theirs and they’re like yeah. It’S only like nine dollars, yeah except it cost you. You know fifteen thousand dollars to get there so realistically, unless you’re, printing, a ton of those things, are needing a ton of them. I don’t know how they calculated the break-even, but I’m not really sure I’m ever going to get to that number.
I’Ve kind of given up on the break-even, but how I got my wife to let me buy it, so I better. I can do something because one day she’s going to ask me about that breakeven and I don’t produce it I’m in trouble. Sorry, I don’t know if you guys are saying something or not, but I’ve got I can’t see, because I am doing this so bear with me a second: are we probably ready to do a giveaway guys? You does not contain the patch right there right, so the pads, though it’s a real small silkscreen or whatever you call that boot ground, 3-volt where’s it the blue button.
So you have ground three volts, Rx and TX TX being the lap pad on the board. Okay, so we’re just going to go ahead and put our smart audio there, and this will be our green one, so get that ready and also put in No so that will stretch it to fits like this. So we have about a few millimeters, maybe like a little excess just because that’ll be able to move the frame a little bit while you’re doing that, so that will just twist the wire up as soon as these go on.
This is a real tight fit here. So let me just I mean someone I took fright here, so let me just see if I can just kid: oh hell just go this way. It’S trying to fit this in such a way to where I could easily change it later, but I don’t want to get near the other pad, so I’m just going to come this direction screw it. If you are, if you’ve got a marketing agency, if you’re in real estate, I know a lot of you guys are, if you’re in Fitness, Don’t like, it really does not matter what business you’re in right. This is we’re just kind of give you guys some backstory on how this is really work for us, And then I want to dive in and show you guys exactly how to make it happen for your business.
Okay, So Adam on our team, he is kind of like he does all of our sales demo sales calls and all that stuff, and Just this past month His calendar was completely booked with appointments and calls, and these were 100 % like zero cold calls guys. These are already people that pre booked appointments with him and he had to go through like he was non-stop On the phone and then just yesterday We went through and blasted out this exact message.
I’M going to show you guys here in a second to about 300 people And he’s got 35 appointments booked over the next week and a half Okay. That was in the first 24 hours, And so people are still going through and booking appointments. So if you look at that, we blast out to 300 people and we had 35 appointments booked. That’S over like a 10 % Booking rate from this simple message that I’m going to go through and break down for you guys.
So what you want to do here – and This is obviously the arsalan kg software – is we want to go through and all of our existing contacts. We might have K our existing network, no matter how long you’ve been in business. You’Ve got some Network right. It could be people from LinkedIn, It could be from Outlook It could be from. You know. Your Google contacts whatever it is. You’Ve got this database of people, who are your super warm market? Okay, and for this you don’t have to pay pay any money for advertising.
Anything else, But what we’re going to do is come over here to this messages section. So I want to show you guys exactly how to set this up, So we’re going to come over here to emails and what we’re going to do is take this existing database. Could be a hundred people 300, a thousand people whatever it is, and we’re just going to go through and click create new email and a subject line. It’S just going to be quick question: Okay, that’s it! Okay, I’m just going to name a quick question.
The email and then it’s going to be the the quick question is going to be. Are You still interested in Blank Okay so like for my business, we went through, we messaged like hey. Are you still interested in real estate, lead generation, okay or if your realtor? It’S like: Are you still interested in buying a home or selling your home or, if you’re, the fitness business? Are you still interested in losing weight, or are you still interested in getting fit for the summer or whatever the Industry is you can go through and just like? Have that simple follow up line right there? Okay, then, what I would do, probably ideally, is actually take off this signature, because you want to make this as personal as possible so like I actually like to make the Lower case on the subject, and even all this is all lower case.
Okay and then we just go through, We blast that out to all of your contacts. Okay, I would say immediately hit next, and then we just hit it to all of our leads, and we would hit send send email right here and then make sure you guys have time to go through and Follow up with all of these contacts. Okay And another thing is when you’re doing the follow-up, I would go through and put together something like calendly so see al en d ly dot-com.
This is an appointment, scheduling app that once somebody responds back say are you still looking to You know generate leads for your real estate business? Are you still looking to buy or sell a home? Are you still looking to you know, get in shape for the summer? Whatever it is, Then your response is like. Okay, great, Like let’s jump on a call and let’s discuss how we I can help you Okay, then you would just send them a link to this little calendar’is, a p — right here.
Okay, where you’ve got you know, set up a 20-minute meeting. It’S like what day, what time, whatever that you can go through and set this appointment up? Okay! So That’s what you want to do, So you want to make sure that once you blast out that email Make sure you guys have some time to go through and respond to those emails, because you are going to get an amazingly high response right. Now another thing that we’ve done that this, if you guys, are doing this one – that this works even even better than email guys.
So if we go over here to mini chat so ma NY, ch8 C-calm, Okay, This is basically doing the same thing, but instead of blasting out an email, You’re blasting out a Facebook message to all these people. I went up through and built mine too up over a thousand people, my first 30 days and Now we’re nearing 15,000 people on the subscriber list. So this is super powerful guys. This is. This is like a very powerful tool when it comes to go through and getting people to engage with your brand, Alright, so same type of thing, But I wanted to show you guys, there’s a few other key differences that we’re going to do here on on this.
One So we’re just going to click on broadcasting. Will click new broadcast? Okay, so we’re just going to say: are you still interested and We’ll put that for this one We’ll say like getting in shape for the summer and then we just have a little quick like? Yes and then we’ll have we’ll say, send message done or we can say no and Then we’ll just click send message and we hit done And now what I like to do.
So this is what they’re going to see you over here in their facebook Messenger. Okay, it’s going to say: hey: are you still interested in getting the shape for the summer? Yes or no, so they click one of those below What I like to do is it just makes it easier is if you go to this flow builder over here, Okay kind of like it makes it easier to go through and map all this out. Okay. So this is the initial message They’re going to get and then, if they click on this one they’re going to get sent this message.
Okay, if they click on this one they’re going to see a sent this match. So if they click no, oh, I might say: Okay, no prob. If there’s anything, I can do to help in the future. Just Shoot me a message or something like that right. So we just like we just end it there, Okay and then right here Now we can go through and they said. Yes, I’m still interested Right. So you could say great. Are You looking you know lean down? Maybe if they’re like looking to get in shape, right, lean down or Add some extra Muscle right, so you have one of those.
What right there? Okay and then we just have these options, add the button. So we can say lean down Okay and then we’ll say, send message which will make that one go up there, We’ll just zoom out a little bit or we can say Bull, Okay, something like that and we’ll say send message and then we hit done. And then we could say Great. I’Ve got several strategies To share with you, Let’s jump on a call for a free like 15 minute Consultation or something like that right.
So we can just even copy the same one, and even put it Down here say like if they say both down great I’ve got several strategy to share with you So obviously like. If they’re, looking to lean down or bulk up and obviously depends on what you’re doing right, It’s like the same thing: Hey. Are you still looking to Buy your buy a home in the near future or sell your home? Yes or no? Okay, Yes, Okay, Great! How soon are you looking to move? You know one to three months, four to six months, whatever Awesome, Let’s jump on a call So like I always like if they say yes, I like to have like kind of a pre message that Before we ask like set up an appointment to kind of like Get another bucket filled of like what their desires are right.

Obviously we can find out if they want to lead down or bulk up on the call, But it helps us to kind of get a little bit more information from them Before we even jump on the call, so we can be a little bit more prepared.
