What Is a CMS? Which One Should You Use for Your Website?

” All right, so today, We have a special guest Alycia from Sucuri. Thank you so much for coming on today. Yeah thanks, I’m happy to be here Awesome, so we’re Talking about what is a CMS and which one should you Use for your website, Can you tell us a little Bit about what a CMS is So CMS stands for. Content management system and it’s basically an easier way to put pages, live on your Website or blog post manage your image media Library all that kinda stuff Awesome and now, let’s Go over the top three CMSs, I’m going to be a little bit! Biased in this episode, That’s my disclaimer right there, I’m going to start with WordPress WordPress is the most popular Content management system out there today powers Over 1/3 of the internet, It has tons of plug-ins tons of options and it’s pretty resourceful And probably my favorite Reason for why I use WordPress is the community behind it.

They’re such a large community that that just all comes Together, there’s meetups, there’s wordcamps and everyone just helps each other out For sure, and I mean with 40,000 plugins almost like you, have no end to the kind of functionality you can add to your CMS Absolutely. So what are some other CMSs that we can possibly use For sure, yeah,,’cause everybody’s heard of WordPress, so Yeah Drupal is another very popular one.

It’s been described to me as Kinda, like a Swiss cheese, you need to be a bit more Technical to use Drupal, but it does have a lot Of different features compared to WordPress, it has A different user experience and ultimately it’s been Used for a lot of things like government websites, And that kinda thing because of its ability to be a little more secure in some areas: yeah Yeah and it’s definitely One not for like the smaller business type sites as Enterprise or large Corporation type sites right, Yeah, yeah for sure Yeah Joomla – is another really Popular one as well, It’s got a really good.

Community – and it’s got, I think, the second highest Market share after WordPress, Although WordPress is Like 30 % – and I think, like It’s, a giant Joomla’s like 6 %, so just A little bit of a gap there between the top two but Joomla’s, also a really awesome CMS to use You wan na make sure that you’re using the most latest version. If possible, There are two active versions: Available that you can use Yeah, you definitely wan na stay on the most recent branch.

Of any CMS, if possible, Yeah that’s just a best practice there. All right. Let’s talk! About really figuring out, which one should you use right Like what are some of the first Steps we wan na think about. Definitely you wan na Make sure that you know what your requirements Are for your website, So how does it need to Be for your users to use! How are you going to go about? Actually creating posts and what are the processes that you’re going to use as part of that And then once you have all that you can kinda look at each CMS and see what are the extensions and Themes that are available And see if they’ll match the Requirements that you have for your website, That makes sense and It all comes down to figuring out what’s right for you Like, I will stand by WordPress all day, but WordPress may not be Right for your situations, Figuring out those requirements, With those applications are super important, Yeah and usually a Lot of the CMS websites have a great community Because they are open-source, So tell us a little about open-source Yeah for sure.

So all Those top three CMSs they’re open-source they’re, also free, which is very important, Open-source, basically Means that the source code used to build WordPress Or Drupal or Joomal, it’s all open and available, and anybody can contribute to it as well Right on So that just means it’s Constantly being improved by the community and the Community’s also checking to make sure that, what’s Being added is secure All right, so we want our Website to look good right, So is that something to think About when we’re choosing what platform we use and how easy it is to create those sites Totally so different themes will have different attributes like They may have a sidebar on the left or the right, Or they may be all one column in a never-ending scrolling website.

Different themes will Allow you to accomplish, maybe what you need by Having custom backgrounds or custom menus, so you Wan na look at the options for your theme and you also don’t wan na discount like premium themes, A lot of premium themes out, there will add extra functionality, So you’re, essentially Paying for the theme, even though the CMS is free, That’s an awesome option. There’s premium plug-ins as well, Depending on what you Need the default themes that come with it are Sometimes a little restrictive, so you wan na take a look at What the default themes are: Try some different free themes and see what the options are to get your site to look.

The way you want it to Yeah and what was kind Of controversial at first in WordPress and 5.0 remember Gutenberg, Oh yeah, Gutenberg is essentially The new WordPress editor, The whole point is to kinda mirror the printing press of just Blocks and everything else, Yeah, what you see is what you get So as you’re typing — Whizzy, wig, Yeah whizzy wig, Thank you So as you’re typing Yeah, you see exactly what you would see on the website, So that comes default by WordPress.

It has made the experience. Especially for first-time users easier to create, Then there are page Builders like Elementor or Beaver Builder or WPBakery Builder, that makes that user-experience A little bit easier, If you’re going on the WordPress realm and really want something: That’s pretty customizable, you don’t have to be a Web developer or guru to build that website For sure CMSs are having to Make things a little easier, You know, there’s a lot of Different places out there that are creating website builders that are super easy for people to use, and so it’s helpful for These open-source CMSs to make the user-experience a little easier All right.

So another thing we probably have to think about. Is the hosting requirements We’re going to need for our applications? Talk us through a little Bit of what that looks like For sure, so most of These are running on PHP, so you want the most Updated version of PHP, especially if you want The latest features and to make sure that you’re Getting those security updates? Yes, So that’s really important.

A lot of hosting companies will offer one-click Install for most of these major CMS applications, Some hosting companies Especially when I first started creating websites – and I Was on a super budget, but also a very secure host, it took me a long time. It took me like three days to install WordPress and they have a famous 5-minute install You wan na look and see, and maybe talk to your hosting company.

About what the options are for getting this CMS Installed on your server Right,,’cause, taking three Days to get a website going just the beginning is not Something you wan na do There’s a lot of places out there that will do managed hosting Especially with WordPress There’s managed WordPress that has just already automatically installed some extra security features And then what most people End up going with is like a cPanel type Hosting Since it does have that one-click install with Installatron or Softaculous, Whatever they’re, using Totally Couple of clicks of a button and then it’s there, You can start building and Designing, however, you want All right, so the real Reason I brought you on to this.

Episode is really talking about security with CMSs They’re open-source. You Constantly have to update them, so there’s lots of things. That we need to really think about to make sure Our stuff’s protected Totally well with It being open-source not only are all the good People contributing code, but all the bad people can Also, look at that code as well and find vulnerabilities. So that’s something that a lot of people are concerned about.

Especially with WordPress being so popular, it is a large target. The CMS itself is actually quite secure because there’s a great Community checking things out. You wan na make sure that you’re Not installing more plug-ins than you need Trying to make sure that you’re keeping everything up to date. If you have a managed solution, They’ll, do it for you, Which is awesome. Yup, You wan na make sure That you have something some kind of security plug-in That’s monitoring your site, letting you know if there is A problem that they detect There are some that can also Add features for protection like adding Two-Factor Authentication, which is a second password on your phone that you need to enter in Order to get into your website There’s all kinds of Cool security, plug-ins security utilities that You can use with your CMS Yeah, I know with WordPress the top security plug-ins That come to mind, of course, Sucuri has This security plug-in, but there’s also Wordfence And then with having an SSL on your site, super important just to Encrypt that password,’cause, you have to login The beauty with CMSs that You can access them anywhere right, Yup, So you wan na make sure that wherever you’re accessing’em Your password isn’t being sniffed out by someone in the middle Yeah.

You wan na, be careful. You don’t wan na. Maybe do It in like an airport or coffee shop, Wi-Fi Unless you’re using a VPN.’Cause, if you are sitting There on public, Wi-Fi and there’s a hacker sitting next to you, they could sniff your password As you’re typing it in And then the next thing you know, there’s a bunch of spam pages on your site that you need to deal with. So what about firewall? I’ve heard that it should be important.

Should be added to the site, What’s the validity with that? Definitely one of the nice things about a website firewall Is that it will virtually patch your CMS? So if There is a security issue, essentially the firewall’s Taking care of that, It surrounds your website. And if somebody’s trying to exploit a vulnerable Plug-In on your site, the firewall will catch. That attempt and block it They’ll see a blocking page.

Meanwhile, all of your legitimate Visitors are being sped-up because of the global Network of the firewall and content delivery network, So we’ve figured out what Cms we’re wanting to use We’ve got it installed, how Do we go about documentation, learning the program itself? There are some awesome Resources out there, You talked about WordPress WPBeginner has some awesome? Training guides and tutorials There’s an awesome community.

For all of these CMSs, with very active, like support forums, That’s a great way to go about it And then, obviously, if you have a developer, Or something like that, that’s helping you get some customization. They can usually help you. You wan na make sure that You’re documenting everything as part of your website as well, so It’s just going to help you Later on down the line, if you know you have a List of all the users, all the plug-ins and that kind of stuff and you’re keeping that up-to-date Yeah, especially if you Have people on your team that needs to access the site, Giving them documentation on What they should be accessing, what they shouldn’t be, because sometimes the wrong click can Make just chaos happen Totally and good user passwords making sure that you’ve Got the right role levels assigned to your users? Whether they’re just an editor or author or contributor Right Those roles are usually built into the CMS to allow you to make Sure they can only access what they should be allowed to access.

You only wan na grant admin privileges to somebody for as long as they need it, and that kind of thing Now, with this website, I know many of the entrepreneurs or even solopreneurs out there with their stuff, has Many hats to wear right, Sometimes maintaining it, isn’t always something that they have time for Yeah. It may not be top of mind Right. What should we be? Doing with those updates Yeah, definitely I would say that it’s very important to make sure that you always retain Access to your property, your web property, So I’ve seen cases where a developer will leave a client and Leave with the passwords and then you can’t get Into your hosting account, or you can’t into WordPress, It’s not ideal, so make sure you always have access to those things And make sure that you’re just practicing safe security practices.

Throughout all of it Right on and with WordPress and Joomla everything else, we Talked about it earlier, make sure you’re at least going in there every now and then to update It to the next latest version: It’s not only for performance, but it is for security Yeah for sure I mean with some CMSs there might be different branches that are still being actively developed So having a firewall That can virtually patch and make sure if there Are any vulnerabilities you have a little bit of an extra window.

‘Cause whenever there’s a Security update released, the hackers are looking going. “: Okay, here’s the old file; “, here’s the new file; oh look: “! There’s the security flaw!”, So it can be –. Then send all our bots out Totally it can a matter of minutes hours after a security patch is released before there’s active attacks in the wild So definitely update your Sites as soon as possible, Auto-updates are amazing, WordPress has auto-updates on most hosts, Yeah and or you can hire developers like most designers or Developers will have like a website care plan, so you Can them just do it for you, If you’re using WordPress, Godaddy ProSites or ManageWP has the one-click updates.

So you can update all your Plug-Ins and your themes, You even have a safe update option. So what it does is It’ll update your site, take a snapshot of before and after and make sure they’re all the same. And if there’s an issue It’ll retract, back to it It’s a free option for you Yeah, that’s perfect! You hit on a good point, It’s not a set it and forget. It thing with a website: You need to make sure that You’re maintaining it And that it’s part of your business, it’s how your business looks.

So you should definitely Make sure that you have some kind of plan for keeping It up-to-date and maintained All right. The last point that we should really talk about is really your time and investment with the CMS of your choice. Talk us through a little Bit of that about that For sure we’ll you Wan na go in and realize that it’s going to take you Time to setup all the pages that you want Right: It may take you time to find the right plug-ins, so you wan na kinda think through whether You want to hire somebody or get some help with that To find the functionality and the look and feel that you’re after Definitely budget when It comes to free CMSs.

Well, you don’t have to pay for the CMS. So that’s helpful Right! But it’s customization and security and all Those things that you definitely wan na consider as part of the whole package of having a website On-going costs for domain WHOIS privacy, SSL certificates, Right firewall, All that kind of stuff, All that good things Totally yeah, there’s A lot of accessories that go on with having a website, So you wan na figure like I said at the beginning what those requirements are And then make sure you have a plan for how you’re going to budget and the timelines around When you wan na launch Perfect and with Drupal And Joomla they are, they do have that smaller market share, So there’s really specific requirements of when you wan na use those applications.

Those developers that you hire for Drupal or Joomla might cost more than a WordPress designer as well For sure yeah, and you wan na make sure that you’re really looking at the work that the developer has done and make sure that it Matches what you’re, after There’s lots of great Websites out there that you know can tell you more About how to pick a developer depending on what you’re after Well? Thank you so much for Coming out on the show today and helping us figuring Out what a CMS is why we should use one You’ve been awesome Thanks my pleasure.

Well, if you liked this article go ahead and smash that, like button, add a comment below on Something that you’ve learned and subscribe to this blog and ring that bell, if you’d like to see these episodes first, This is “ The Journey.,” we’ll see you next time.

Peter Kamore: The Content Marketing Code

So, basically, talking about content marketing, though, though, though, though, not content, marketing as as its out there, because because visa, what happened and so as we we we have to be, the tropics have have to be around websites and WordPress, and so I’ll be talking more about Content marketing in in in terms of a website, because because having a website is one thing and I know having content on it – is another a bit about my background yeah, I started using WordPress, I think, like five years ago, yeah I work at a company called Digital unit, I had lived the team, basically digital marketing agency, that deals with mostly web development, social media and digital PR.

Yeah so feel free to interrupt me at any point with a question that you might have either within or maybe after the topic or maybe later on, yep, then yeah then feel free to go to attend and and and and and post something using this hashtag switch Pair, what company Ruby on another platform that there should be a Twitter of Facebook, a stronger man yeah, those three me Jimmy yeah. I should that’s yeah so yeah, so so, as I said, I’ll be talking about content marketing, and so it’s basically a honey on you’re.

Developing a website, it could be a website, a blog. What are the do’s and don’ts in terms of coming up with content, because I think I think how many are web developers or ever have have come up with her our website, preferably from WordPress. If you know do not press or or hosted with other hosting kind of my show, huh yeah, so so so one thing you will realize is that is that sometimes you you’ll be making will be cutting a website.

Then you come across this. It’s very beautiful theme, then then either you participated or load. It then there’s a place we realized after after in store after normally, then installing it, you realize it does not look as as appealing as as how it was one day. One day, one day, one day on the preview, we don’t need how many have experienced that yeah, I think, and and basically the main difference is – is usually the content, because, because normally what what they will do is that before you buy before.

If I buy the load the same, they will show you a very nice thing with, with with with very good images, very good content, and even when you’re going through the demo, you consider good content, but but then, after downloading and installing it there is just just The frame you don’t have much in terms of corner and so and so you’ll be tempted, you’ll even be tempted to think that the these people, they they lecture to change to you.

They they they sold you what you, what she thought you did would want to buy, maybe to download, and so the main difference between the two is the content and so, and so they expect you to come to come up with with similar creative content as they. Yes, or even much better though, although, although for most of them, they especially for they for the premium for the premium ones, they normally give you the option through the option to to download them of content and upload it on your on the website and not customize.

It which is which is which makes now your work much easier yeah. I I hope I were close to anyone so far. If I have. Finally, let me know yeah, yep and yeah, so we’re looking at content, marketing and – and so this is what we’ll cover its Kelly a web content, what what type, what? What are they different different areas in the website that you need to have content, then you look at a high content or at a high quality content? Well, actually, why should? Why should you have good or good content, and not just having images and text and and and articles on the website? Why is it important to have a good and appealing content to the Internet user? When you look at a and the common mistakes that we have got to make a special event coming up with, with with AB content, then we will do a bit of a bit of tips on uncoated creation.

Then then we finish so first. First of all, most a are talking about content I’ll, be referring to to do this for article content, graphic content, my graphic aids, basically, basically, image content. Sorry I it’s supposed to be yeah ii supposed to be text, content and audio, so soul be looking at at least at these four types of content text text, article audio and graphic in the in the course of the presentation, so they’re different the different areas in Your website that you, that you need content it it could be in product for that for the product description as assuming you have your any may be an an e-commerce website, or maybe any website that, where we deal with the products, you need content for that it Could it could be product images, it could be product description and so and so, and so you need that website, everyone could could be a fa.

Q’s could be a the motors contained the mission and the vision content, and so me Jenny immediately about the FAQ and the mission and vision. It’s me it’s mostly timing. It’s usually text content, but not limited to that you. You could still have image content or even article content, where, if maybe you’re talking about about us it could, it could be probably an image, an image of. Maybe you your workspace, you, your colleagues, you you, maybe you are throw up being what you do.

If it services you’d be some of the services, the yeah, then first product product reviews and testimonials. This will come in handy, especially especially if, if maybe you’ve been you, don’t previous jobs for people, and maybe you need you need for the for, for the connect to be to be a website you can have that could be a text content. It could be. It could be be short short clips of them saying how maybe how awesome your service or product is then then, lastly, other they are sorry.

Second, all these at this instructional content, it could be probably if it maybe you selling, if it’s a software equal to have probably a short article, explaining what what the software does. A person like moco does famous for m-pesa m-pesa plugin, and so you can. You can have a short clip explaining what audio service is, especially if it’s a new product in the market has been experi. If, if most people do not know about your product or service, then then could have that it’s called a muscle.

It could be the house tool, then then their last, but not, but but really the list could equal have blog content, especially if, if you’re on a blog or maybe you have a blog section on your website, you can have blog post and so as we look At all these, if it’s product product product content, a about content, effort, reviews instructional articles blog, how? How can we make our corner to be effective? How can we make our corner to be appealing today, a true that to the user? Because, because because most mustering, if you’re visiting our website within the first, like three three four five seconds you, you know whether well it continues in website or maybe to jump o to the next one on they only on the on the google search list and so And so the amount of time a person will stay in your website will be very much dependent on on on on how your content looks in terms in terms of arranging it in terms of, is it appealing in terms of? Is it just? Maybe an image you’ve got on the website, it just dumped a doublet, fair, and so it is very, very, very important tu-tu-tu-tu-tu-tu to have content on the website that that is appealing to the intended user of the website.

They see. Content is king, whereas some C code, yeah yeah connective king of some say, distribution is queen, and so they would say the type of corner that you have is it’s very key in your website. You’ll, even rather not have the website in the first place then have Arab site online with Miss Smith, which should work with maybe blurry images, maybe text with with with very many grammatical errors and so content really matters.

Then seven, seven percent of people check online content before they could purchase, and so, if it’s, if it’s probably, if I’m going to a place like Jimmy to buy a to buy a phone look for a phone, how the phone looks there on the display would really Matter to me, if, if albeit or not, especially especially if a if maybe it’s a new phone or maybe it’s a father, it that or not may be seen it previously and so the corner that they put there, whether an image of the phone or maybe they, The description of it it will it really, it will really determine whether are patches it or not, and so also for them.

Having surely content whether the text or image, who will all all either increase the sales or maybe or maybe a make people not by not buy the product, all or even the service? And so this we still to to make us realize the importance of having good and quality content on our website yeah. Then why call it we call it content having quality content, helps boost your visibility, having quality content, especially especially, if you have, if you have very good images, if you have maybe very good content, it cool it, it helps to improve your visibility because things like such Engines such engines like like Google, they are, they usually rank, rank high.

They the website with quality content, because because for them they they will much discourage poor content. Maybe maybe, with errors may be copied content literally, very much discouraged and also they they help to to optimize the content for those people who have good content. Who has content that that people will love, especially especially you utilize, if you maybe have a very good blog post, which which has on a certain topic? Maybe it has? It has very many views and maybe a number of a number of comments on it on it.

When a person searches such as some something similar to to to what your topic is for that blog post, your your blog post is is directly to to a fear top because because it’s what most people most people have viewed and it has released to people. But people be commenting on it or maybe like meat, and so it’s a visibility on it on it and on a general blog post will really be creased. Then quality content positions view as an expert.

This goes without saying, if, if, if maybe we sell things like different laptop, I mean we have a blog, a blog fiction on the website, a mood emoticon about a bottle about laptop, so maybe daily, we blog about the newest laptop. Maybe the new feature about a certain a certain laptop. Maybe maybe this happened in the in the in the tech world. Maybe HP HP did this with time. Our readers trust trust that our that we know more about our about laptops, and so, if they need to buy a laptop they would they would likely come to us to by Allah to buy the laptop, because because, based on the corner that you have, that you Mean from other to be putting there on the blog and a blog page, portrays us as an expert and so and so having having content and our just a not not just call it a quality content.

In terms of in terms of its relevance to the trophy that your disco topic that you’re talking about it, it it puts you out there as the expert in that particular field, then content helps you to build relationships, especially who, especially with people who blog about. Maybe about things like Fitness things, we need to do its life with with the personality it. It helps build leadership with with the audience and so and so our daily, especially daily you you you, you grow with your content with the audio such that at some point.

Even if you fail to you fail to to put up a post, maybe put it in put a post every Friday, then then on one particular Friday, you you fail to, and maybe you have you have been a bit code very consistent. Then then, even a person will be worried. Why why? Why hasn’t he or she posted a post today, but could he be okay and then he release with time? You start building a billion ship with people such that? If, if it’s maybe about about fitness – and maybe you have if people have been following you next time, even if you open a gym and call them, they would likely a come because because you have worked with along for some time on fitness and so and so Also, do they would much much likely come and and and and and and get your services the good thing with quality content? Is that if you, if you put your call your your contest to be to be quality and to be consistent, then selling becomes very easy.

If you send the product after after giving content it becomes, it becomes very easy. You even reduce you, your your budget or sales or marketing. Sorry, yeah, then quality content gives gives value to your visitors. It helps them add to their knowledge of core that that goes without saying then. After that, then then then quality content gets shared openly. If you, if you come up, if you come across a post that that it’s very good at relates with you, a may be a very good image of maybe or maybe wild animals, or maybe just a quality image owner or maybe a maybe in a blog post.

You will much likely to share it, especially as we may be to a person that you feel would love this content and and so that that world much likely happen. If the content is good because because rarely will a relationship content be the person. That is a really with Malaysia economy. The person that is a whoever content is insured, or maybe the colleagues is its duplicate, or maybe it’s full of errors, or maybe it’s it’s not what I’ll consider to be good and so quality content gets.

Your cord gets get a reaches more people because people is initiate, and so you want to go even to make even two more people. You just posting it on your blog you’ll find it maybe at maybe on some blog some way, or maybe some Facebook page or maybe some social media place, but nothing not even posted yeah, and so that that’s pretty much about quality content this and they are very Many and every many advantages of having good content, or maybe they have very many good things that come that come with having quality content when you’re on your blog page on your blog post on you on your on your website, and even I know not just on A website, and even just just anywhere, if you put up quality, a quality stuff, then people really appreciate.

Then oh look at some of the mistakes that we make when coming up with content, and so some some of the mistakes that that you do as some of them admission is, is called a duplication where maybe you you you you’re coming up with with the website And maybe you you realize that you don’t you, you need to cut it for me before, for about ins, the about Us page on your website, and maybe you are you dealing with use you you, you, your company, that there may be offer services, maybe maybe your Travel agency, when you realize this website a no and they have very good images, then I can just go and maybe take their take their content.

Then they may be bringing to the bill to the air to my site. It may be change a few things here and there, but then you realize and then other than they never came up with you with you with your content as so and so most of the time such engines are able to track that, especially especially Google. It’s it’s able to it’s able to track that and they can and they can’t penalize you the easiest way that reproduce make sure that that you, your visibilities, is it as low as possible or not possible searches such a zero.

The the it will be very hard for them to find a to failure. You your page, unless they tape you, you exact URL, hold up if it’s double double double that blog post, not calm when they have to take that for it to a way to to appear number one on your search results. So and so, and so that’s a call to us to to always strive to come up with with without content, to be very original image, then the second mistake that the sometimes we make is is where is grammatical mistakes? Those though some of them I of course the they are very much an intentional, but then but then it is very important to proofread.

If you come up with a with a blog post, maybe come up with, maybe maybe maybe like two or three blog post in a week. It’s it’s very important to always to always look proofreading for your for your content. If you’re not sure about about a profile about a proofreading, you can give you you can give you can give it to someone else to to help. You prefer aid to help. You a problem – maybe maybe, if I maybe maybe a few grammatical errors or maybe or maybe take that maybe text that is not arranged well or maybe some maybe links Allah capital letters where they’re supposed to be.

Maybe I may be quoting a person or maybe in the wrong way, is supposed maybe to use some certainly of of quoting them, and so it’s very important to two to twelve to avoid such as especially especially for for this like for this little blog post, they Will software that that one can use to check them to explain mistakes? There’s a base? It’s called grammarly yeah. You can use that and another software that better fair, some of them are free.

Some of them are premium yeah. You can make good a good use of them to ensure that you are sure that your text, a content, is, does not have that yeah. Sorry, I forgot on content, duplication and is also the issue of of of images, of something images and articles. Sometimes you you’ll feel maybe maybe have come up with a website upset. Maybe you need maybe sell shoes that maybe you’re not a it. You don’t have images for for your shoes and so just to go somewhere.

You just take an image, save it on your laptop. Then then, a pollutant on the website, time’s weed weed weed, do it without without even thinking whoever, whether maybe that image is copyrighted and so, and so sometimes it’s it’s very important to to check. If it is an image, is an image cooperated and if and if it is, it’s very, it’s always very important to rate your source for the image well image or maybe or maybe you’re cutting a pass one.

It’s it’s. It’s always very important to to quote them to name your source if it may be a survey if, if it may be a semi, maybe 60 % of people summer, I do this or do that you can indicate where you got that status. That’s at it from you stay at the bottom or maybe somewhere on you on the on the on the page. Then then the third one is look a low quality of visual content yeah. This is where you you you.

You sometimes take just post images where which are not very quality, and so this is a VIN line between between you having your original content and also that content being quality, because of because because because some sometimes there is on the this one, we’ll find ourselves posting Content, especially especially a graphic graphic content from our website. It’s because probably will think I don’t have a good camera to take their photos, and so I just take them from from a certain website and just post it on mine.

But sometimes it’s a matter of sacrifice. You can even get get a password to a photographer to come and do photography for for all your products, but that there may be can run for for like a month or so. If they, it may be a big you do it for, for maybe for social media yeah. So on websites, kindly it’s kind of ensure that you have quality content, whether whether article, whether images, ensure that you that the content is that standard and also, I also ensure that that was it’s.

Not it’s not very high quality standard, very high quality, because it it it will dance alone, um slate, so most most website, especially especially if you’re a if you’re a developer most most times. If you, if you’re plotting an image, they normally give you the fair the recommended size it could be, we could be the length a yeah, maybe could be the size or so yeah. Those are raised. Those ability these these are.

You can adjust that, but also it’s it’s very good to ensure that your content, you, your content, especially article articles and images, the Equality and also they within the the set boundaries, not not very, not low quality, not very high quality, to solid on you. Your website, then then the last one is, is having content content without of flow. Sometimes you you’ll find make. Maybe they maybe they the content on your on your homepage.

It’s very catchy, it’s very it’s very good, but but then, when they come into the other pages you find this is a bit of disconnection, maybe in everything maybe the first page, you you’re very you’re, very enthusiastic about it, you’ll fire about about your new about. Maybe your new startup, maybe in a new business, then coming to other, maybe to other pages, and maybe you maybe I in your low moments and maybe just posted condor that this that is, okay content, but not as as good at the first one.

And so it’s it’s very good to to to meet enough flow, especially given the tone of your website, because, because h, hf site should have a tone, I don’t go different, that but yeah and so try as always as possible, to maintain the tone with Fame. Your website this, maybe it’s a it’s a it’s a it’s a happy tone. It’s it’s a or maybe you are having a kids a. Maybe it’s a kids website, maybe maybe it every for for me for kindergarten.

Maybe that’s another tool for kids, maybe a bit of Carla’s in everywhere. Make sure that is that that is a cruise all the all the pages of the of the website yeah, I’m not sure how they’ve left something in the mistakes yeah. These are just some of the mistakes that you make there very many others on a mistake that you make on content, but also it’s a yeah. Just I’m sure you do this and unless they’re different they’re different software’s and programs that you can use to come up with the content, both text content both and even article content image content for image content.

You can you can use things like converse, you can you can you can use things like Photoshop to to to edit some of the some of the especially graphic graphic content yeah to ensure that at least you have you have you have good content on your website? Yeah, then, I will now look at at at connect creation tips. What are some of the some of the tips that you can that you can borrow where, when when, when, when, when coming up with with content for websites, it’s the few of them create content that adds value to your product or anti brand? If it, maybe you have a website here, maybe a you blog about about.

You – have a product, a sorry, an e-commerce website for beauty products. You can. You can have a blog section of of things to do with Beauty. You can you can blog about beauty, about hair, about a general about bit about beauty, and you come up with corner. That adds adds value to your customers and well and and also adds value to your brand, such as such that you blog about beauty and have an apostle.

Will all one day now come to buy products from you because, because who are building you well adding value to your customers? Well well and making them knowledge about beauty? You still you’re still tagging along you, your brand, but also I that said, ensure that you don’t say we’re coming up with blog content, because because episode – Oh we’ll just know, if, if your blog about I was at about a certain topic, then you try to squeeze In some some aspect of or selling your products in in between a possibly still no and I’ll, just know that you are that you are tricking them to reading the blog.

So to that, so the family, in between you can sell to them the product it works. Sometimes, but but but sometimes it it’s, it might not work, and so I so the best thing is if you’re selling, if it’s, if it’s always on the other on the or the product lists, have it there. And but if it’s on the blog section kindly ensure that that it’s strictly a giving knowledge to well for many knowledge to you to you to to to to the readers yeah, then one is update.

Your content regularly. Kindly don’t don’t not have stale content or new on your website. Try as much as possible to to to always update you you’re, not not just the blockage, the blog page you it includes, even even maybe a boaters. I may be a normal or normal pages that you have content it. It could be, it could be. Article content could be text content. I’r sure that sure that, once in a while you, you change you, you you change things, especially especially it.

If, if it’s, if it’s, if it’s probably you had images of you officer, maybe you move to another office, I kind of and should ensure that a sure that you have ever maybe replace the therefore images you know without with with no the new, then the new Images, sometimes you will find a page. You like they at the contact us page, maybe maybe location, had shoulder. Maybe there and then this building, maybe one year, two years down the line, you you move somewhere else, and maybe you forgot to people change me, the location or me or maybe used a certain number.

That was us, but that was that was you. That was the personal number. Then then, later only butter, you you you you, you got another number. That is there’s no the office number. I maybe forget to to indicate that then, with time your users might get lost it may be. They are finding your location. Maybe it maybe don’t contact you, they may not very much reach you, it may be. You never changed basic things like like a phone number yeah and another things this, like blog post.

It goes without saying it’s very important to to keep to keep updating your blog regularly. If, if you post, maybe one so, we got at least tried by a better week. At least you have a post, you have a post, your post up, yeah. I love what the ideal is is initially that that you sent a post at if it’s. If it’s on on Monday at 2:00 p.M. You make sure that every Monday 2 p.M. You, you, you you, you post it post an article and the good thing about something.

Like WordPress is that you can you can even share your content, especially for especially for for blogs yeah, you can you can even come up if it. Maybe you do one article: every week you can come up with with with four articles and then at the beam of the month, then you shed and then show you the particles to pull themselves and maybe every Monday, every first, every Monday, at 2 p.M. You. Can you can easily do that with with with WordPress there now, whether tip is critical it with a confession with a conversational tone because well well, we are, we are not true, both and so, and so sometimes we we we post content a thief or without without Having the readers they just in in consideration, because sometimes you we fail to to to put ourselves in the readers and there it is in the readers from the latest point of view, and so it’s very it’s very it’s very important to when, when when rating, especially A blog, a blog post and sure that that that, at one point you take, you take the role of the leader.

How how will you take the how what could be or take in terms in terms of the the of the blog post we live and respond to it yeah you can even have things like emojis or neat, especially if it’s not a very formal, a very formal. I acted call you could you could have you, you can have those those from all elements that that sure that that you, actually speaking to a person, assume that you are having a conversation with a normal person with a person a maybe over coffee, such that aside, That, when you’re writing a blog post and a assume that maybe you working this person and saying, then we thought they can, they can easily relate – and I know probably be interested to read this.

The next article that you come up with then comply with SEO practices. Yeah – and this is not a must – but it’s very important, especially if you, if you want to improve SEO on your website, of course, they have. The most key was that other tool that that that you’ll want to do to that truly would relate to to your field. If it may be you you you, you sell shoes, a maybe a maybe around casado, then then you could have.

They could have that around around your content. It could be especially on tag this family called tags. They say something like Meta Description. You can you can have you can try to incorporate those, especially on your on your on your on your post or even on your website or name on a on a website, and so that how that helps to increase to increase to make you cite us, do Better, therefore, therefore, therefore justify SEO means search.

Engine optimization it is, it is what it is, what matters it is, what helps you to be visible, a visible, especially a special on such an you see if a person searches such as something around what you do yeah. I think this this this. This brings me today today to the end of my presentation about rapid current marketing, but I am the number of things that that I probably have left out, and so they are the whole thing.

If the whole thing about about corn is, is at least make sure, maybe the very takeaways that that you could let you critically from from from my from my talk – will be be original originality in content. Everything just try try to be original to give quality content. Then three is always be always update. Your content regularly at least try to review your Connie. Well, it’s just um site. Try try to always look at it.

What it say you could you could maybe even find a you. You are an error and error on your page may be a for maybe a finger for error, girlfriend Riera on your website, and so that’s that is pretty much what I had prepared.

How to Use Facebook for Your Online Business

What’s up, How are ya Good, No surprise we’re going to Dive into Facebook today The book face But I also ( laughing ) The face book. It is your favorite right, It is my favorite No well, I don’t like To choose favorites So we’re talking about Facebook for your business – Maybe I just have a personal page and I’ve decided – maybe it’s Time to create a business page for my business right, What are kind of the First, steps that I need to really think about Well you’re, already, Off to a great start, You wan na go to a business page And that’s really important.

Because then, you get the ability to track metrics and analytics So absolutely business. Page over personal page And then from there You wan na make sure you set up your profile. Get that profile photo. Usually your logo works great or maybe, if it’s your personal brand use a great headshot of yourself and then take that cover photo to really showcase your Products or your services and then from there make Sure all your information is up to date And that Is really important? Your hours, your website, Your phone number 100 % And make sure that lines up with your Google And your Yelp listings too Right I went into a coffee shop recently I Was in northern California, You drink a lot of coffee, ( laughing ), It’s true And the cashier was looking At me, like I don’t know like, maybe she wanted to rush me and I’m thinking they’re Open for two more hours, what’s the deal, ( laughing ) Sure enough, they were Closing in five minutes I go, but your Facebook says and I wanted to Go into my spiel like this, but I saved it got a quick Coffee to go fortunately, but that’s the whole point.

I left with a customer experience that wasn’t as ideal And then onto probably one of the largest most impactful components: content Right, always preach Quality over quantity Yeah, so you definitely Want to make sure you vary your content, So mix it up. You know you don’t Wan na become predictable; Okay, And you also don’t want to turn into just a business always talking about yourself right. It becomes so salesy.

When it’s always about me, me me So salesy me me me: yeah, Buy this, buy that Yeah sell, sell, sell; Rather you want to Tell tell tell Exactly ( laughing ) Throw something out there. That’s entertaining I mean social media is escapism. Oh yeah, Throw in a good laugh But also educate me, So I always tell my friends: That I follow my dentist on Facebook and they look At me, like I’m crazy, Why right What And it’s because my dentist Shares really educational tips and tricks like how to whiten my teeth without spending hundreds of dollars.

I saw also my yoga studio was just giving a friendly Reminder to stretch how to maintain the zen, which Is really important in life? Absolutely Also, sharing testimonials that you’ve already Received on Yelp and Google and turning it into a Facebook post Right repurpose that content Take that review. Let’s Say it went on about your your ice cream, you’re an ice cream shop, And the review goes on about How you have the best flavors, but the ultimate flavor Is definitely rocky road, Absolutely Yeah, it’s the best Hands down.

So you have that review that the customer went on About your rocky road ice cream and then use Canva or Something and in the background of that review and select A picture of the rocky road on a nice ice cream cone. It really brings it to life. For those of you that don’t know, Canva is a free website that Has all sorts of templates and kits and graphics For literally all things that you could possibly create Like social media templates, Facebook headers all that Good stuff and it’s free – I use it pretty religiously, Also article, So I’m a huge advocate, Of article I love article Just keep it on the shorter Side, attention spans are short Seems like under two minutes: Or so under three minutes Yeah.

Definitely I would even a minute is good and also doing behind the scenes footage. That’s one of my favorite things about following local businesses is like well, I wan na know how This all comes together And showcase your staff And also repurpose anything your customers take User generated content And I think what gets A lot of people hung up on, creating article is, maybe they don’t have a production set like we do right, (, laughing ) And that’s okay.

Our smart phones are Pretty darn good right, Yeah they’re, pretty smart, Take a article with your phone and even it doesn’t have To be the best quality Go behind the scenes. People like that story like to see the other side of things, and it really helps them. Relate to who you are as a business owner You’re, not just some faceless company. So next up we have these groups. Can you tell us a little Bit about what the Facebook groups are and how I can potentially leverage It as a business owner Yeah, so definitely Encourage you to pay attention to other like-minded Businesses, but also groups to piggy back off the Engagement, you already have, I will say, content is Where you wan na spend most of your time, but Groups can be an advantage to getting your business More exposure for sure, So next up we have advertising.

What do we do with the Paid advertising aspect Yeah, so it’s no secret. Facebook has gone on Record to say organic reach is on ( whistling ) the decline Don’t give up on it. Organic content is still Alive and well and breathing, but I think Facebook posts that you boost has a lot of potential and you Can reach a targeted audience, which is one of favorite things about it? You can start off with like five bucks and you can get in front Of a specific demographic age group, zip codes and That way, you know your post is going to reach the right people And with I would kinda Look at the post that maybe have done the best And then boost those and get those that reach out.

That’s a really good point. Thank you for bringing that up. It’s usually ( laughing ) Wait you’re the expert ( laughing ) I dabble So with Facebook. It’s you wan na go ahead and let the post that you’re Doing hang out organically for a little bit, Let it chill see how it Does garner some reach Now once it garners some Reach then boost it, That’s what we found to work best While a lot of people. I Speak to think, there’s no way to track this to ROI.

That’s a total myth. You can actually go ahead and look at it’s called your insights tab and it breaks down everything. You know what your audience is liking engaging with. Are they Clicking on the links, what time of day they’re doing this, and when you look at all of that and really understand it, the insights you can truly be informed about. Where do I go from here right Like? Where do I go from When it comes to which days work best to post, what Time of day works best Does my audience prefer The entertaining posts more than the educational And on which days And from there you can truly Come up with a great strategy, What happens if I’m not Getting maybe the engagement that I want? Are there any like, like Just great pro tips or boosts that I can do to help me.

Just skyrocket and get in front of those people Yes, Contests: Okay, how so So recently, I saw this cafe that had a special music guest coming in and they encouraged their Audience on the Facebook post, which is like promoting the music, Okay, yeah Comment below and tag a friend and then they’re going to do a random drawing, and it’s like two free Tickets to the show That quick little tag, A friend now becomes just free advertisement for you and it’s costing you a couple tickets or maybe a free, drink or free burger.

Exactly Or whatever you do, You could also ask a question: What is your “ go, to” order when You come into our restaurant Or, what’s you favorite thing on the menu and your favorite person to dine with, And so it’s your customers Spreading word of mouth about what’s great to eat So on Twitter and Instagram Hashtags are super relevant, but I don’t always see It as often on Facebook Are they a thing.

Absolutely I mean here’s the thing when it comes to using hashtags Whether it’s on Twitter or Instagram or Facebook, Or if you’re just posting either way you got ta monitor it, because it’s going to be Different for each business, It doesn’t hurt to use Them just be mindful and use relevant, hashtags Perfect and probably only one or two Don’t go overboard. Just a few Yeah, you don’t need to go overboard.

This has been The Journey. Thank you. So much for reading Make sure to like and comment. Below subscribe to know when our next articles are coming atcha and we are signing off

How To Build A Thriving Business Online With Google Search

My name is Douglas James, and I want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this article that I made for you in this article presentation. I’r going to show you exactly how we can grow your business online. Exactly how we’re going to get you more quality, targeted, leads or your business, which ultimately is going to increase your business sales revenue all right.

The process that I’m going to be going over with you is called search engine, optimization, okay, we’re going to be optimizing! Your website for Google searches so that, whenever your customer searches for your services online, they find you versus your competitor. Okay, that’s what we’re going to be going over! So, as you can see we’re on my business page, my company’s amped local, we’re an internet marketing agency based out of San Diego California.

So please visit us here for more information all right, so Google Google is the most powerful popular way to extract information from the Internet. Over 80 percent of the population uses Google to find products and services in their area. Okay, 96 % of those searchers are going to click from the very first page of Google. Okay, so for this article I’m going to be using the water damage, repair, niche and kind of I’m going to show you the top competitor, and I’m going to show you someone that could be like you.

That’s on the second page of Google. Okay, that’s not really getting any action all right so for this search, this keyword search, I’m doing San Diego water damage repair. Okay, so, as you may already know, these are your Google ads? Okay, these take up actually about 15 to 20 percent of the total clicks on the page. This is paid advertisement all right here is your Google Maps all right. This takes another 20 to 30 percent of the total clicks.

Okay, this is showing the searcher the local businesses that are in that are closest to them with the highest ratings. Okay, and then here is the cream of the crop of the Google search. Is the organic switch controls and upwards of about 70 % of all of the clicks on the entire page? This is where you want to be. You want to be rain in the top three. Definitely in top number one. Okay, this is the king of the Google search.

This is what’s going to generate you, the most revenue, okay and a nice being here and a combination of the maps and also running a PPC. Google AdWords campaign is going to get you incredible results alright. So for this niche for water damage repair, Google can tell us exactly how many times a month, someone searching for whatever niche so for this and search in San, Diego okay, it’s around 3,000 for even five six thousand times per month, so consistently year-round about 3500 times A month, someone needs this service and they’re searching related keywords.

Okay, and, as you can see, Google is giving us the exact information. We need the exact keywords that we need to rank our business for all right. So this is very, very valuable and, as you can see, this list goes up to almost 700 keywords, but of course we want to focus on the very most, the most profitable ones, all right and she’s, usually the ones at the top of the top. After this page here, alright, so for these guys, the number one guy here is San Diego water damage, calm.

Okay, now the guinea pig for this article is going to be these guys best dry flood and mold calm; okay, so they are ranked on page two. Twenty nineteen they’re ranked number eighteen, okay on page two, alright so they’re kind of far far behind. So let me show you this chart real, quick as I was mentioning earlier. So the number one guy is controlling about thirty: five percent. Okay, it’s it’s a about! A total seventy percent within the top three all right, so that is the king spot right there.

So, as you can see, page one ends at number ten and that’s only three percent of the total clicks and, as you can see, our guy he’s number eighteen, which is not even present here, he’s getting. Maybe a half a percent of the total clicks. Nobody clicks on page two there’s a saying if you want to hide a dead Adie, hide it on page 2 of Google all right. So there’s there’s a reason why that exists right.

So I want to show you how many clicks these two guys. These two websites are getting compared to each other, so this is our guy on page, two all right he’s getting two unique organic visitors per month and he’s probably not closing either one of them. Okay, that’s very very low right to have a website and not only beginning to visitors per month. Now the number one ranked guy for this niche completely different story right 350 per month consistently every month, all right – that is literally two more than two thousand percent increase.

Okay, so that’s huge all right, so that’s the benefit of being number one. You control all of the profit and all of the clicks to for that one keyword search all right. So how do we do it? How do we do search engine optimization? My point to this article: it really is to educate you the business owner on the process so that you understand exactly how it works and what to expect at the end of every month.

Alright, so the first thing is your website. Okay, you may be. Maybe you just had a website built: maybe you’ve had it for 10 years, okay, Google wants to promote and show the most powerful most optimized sites on page one, all right so having a mobile-friendly site is very important. Why? Because eighty percent 65 to 80 percent of your clients are actually going to be looking at you from an iPhone or an Android or a Galaxy S.

What have you a mobile device? So your site has to convert so these guys that aren’t page to rank number 18. Their site is not mobile, friendly and, as you can see, when you look at it through this graphic here, you can’t even read it right. So this is very, very important. All right, so Google actually just released a recent update a few months back where it really really penalized these clients that had these websites alright, so you definitely want to have a mobile-friendly site.

So if your not mobile, that’s the very first thing that you want to take into account and have taken care of right away all right. The second thing is, I’m going to be talking about, is authoritative content. So let’s go over to this guy’s page, alright. So, as you can see, best dry ink flood mold, specialist okay. So what Google wants to know is: are you educating your client when they visit your site? Are you mentioning all of your services? Are you mentioning where you’re located? So this is San Diego, so they should be mentioning all of their keywords, combined with the city location many times, and they want to.

You need to be bolding out, highlighting underlining the key primary terms and the most important thing is: you want to have at least 1500 words on the homepage, all right. So for these guys I only see about this much information on their page. Okay. First of all, the site isn’t mobile friendly. Second, it only has maybe 100 200 words on the home page all right. So there’s a reason why this paid this this website’s on page two: okay, it’s not really meeting Google’s optimization standards, alright, so and Google’s eyes.

It’s not taking it serious because it does not have enough content. All right. Google can read content even photos, okay, so we could have pictures of safe. This was you know, water damage repair. We could have pictures of giraffe and animals all over the place, but if each picture is named appropriately because when you take a picture, you can name it on your computer correct. So you want to name it relevant keywords.

So all of these keywords that we want to rank in, we want to be mentioning these on the home page and naming our photos and media with relevant keywords, including the city that we’re servicing right. So let me give you an example: what authoritative content looks like? I went to Google type in elephant. All right. Bear with me Wikipedia is notorious for being number one for these searches because of their authoritative content.

So if you look at this page, there’s endless amounts of information about elephants, their evolution where they sleep what they eat. Everything: okay, this is probably 50,000 plus words all right, but just to give you an idea, you want have large chunks of information like like this, something like this. Okay, just on your home, page 1500, words minimum all right. Also, if you want it to have, you know, if you’re having multiple services that you want to rank for in a city, you won’t have you know separate pages or even separate websites built out for those services and again you still want to have at least 1500 Words and have the the whole SEO process go in full circle.

Okay, so that’s a thought, 8 of content. So the third thing I’m going to talk to you about and the last two things we talked about was kind of the it was the on-page optimization. Now I’m going to talk to you about off page optimization, okay, so after your sites, you know mobile friendly, you know authoritative, content, tons of media. Now we want to rank locally okay in San Diego in the Google Maps.

This is very important, so we want to get Google verified, there’s going to be a Google, my pit, my business page, and that profile needs to be filled out: 100 %. Okay. So once you get verified and you fill that profile out, 100 % you’re going to want to start adding local citations to get ranked in the top three here. So here is our guy best driver flood and mold mold specialist. They have an error rate of 86 %, okay, so their local citation back profile is not a hundred percent.

It’s actually eighty-six percent of it is in error. So only fourteen percent is correct, has correctly filled out and it looks like since there’s a missing missing listing on Google. This is telling us that they’re not verified at this address. Okay, so this is really bad, so they’re actually not going to show up in Google Maps at all, because they’re not verified with the correct address. You have to have a specific address to be verified in okay, even if you provide mobile services.

So if you serve your clients at their location, that’s fine. You can verify with an address, but it doesn’t have to show up on Google, but on the backend. There should be a listing here. The that makes sense. So, as you can see, you know some examples of these: are Google Yahoo, Facebook being yellow pages and white pages okay? These are, this is how we get our information out there on the Internet right they’re very important to have, because people are searching in these as well all right, not only so, you want to have 100 % corrected a hundred percent compliance with these citations and, as You can see he’s missing listings, you know the there’s coming from address discrepancies missing.

Listening is the biggest thing here. Right he’s only filled out fourteen percent correctly, so this is huge. This is a big one. If you want to be ranked in Google Maps, you have to be verified with an address and have a 100 % backlink. I’r sorry, a 100 % citation profile filled out all right. So the fourth thing I’m going to talk to you about is backlinks. Okay. We also call these influence pages so say you have a client thoroughly impressed with the SIRT your service right.

Maybe they have a website. Maybe they write a blog. All right. What’s going to happen, is that client can actually post about your business online? Okay, whether it be on their website, their blog on someone or someone else’s someone’s mentioning you online and linking to your website so whoever’s reading that article or that comment can click a link and they go to your website. So this is a backlink all right and every backlink has an anchor text that they click on.

So the anchor text could be for like this niche. You know water damage, repair which is going to benefit you now. Backlinks are phenomenal and you have to have them. So this is the pretty much the King, daddy of getting ranked organically all right, so you want to have relevant backlinks that are high quality. So what Google wants to know about these backlinks is: who are they where they come from and are they popular or not? Okay, so the higher the quality, the more Google is going to take that serious, okay SEO.

It truly is what you say about your business online and what everybody else says about your business online. That’s what that’s all SEO is that’s what we’re doing so with these backlinks, as you can see, our guy best drive flood and mold. He has 23 referring domains. Okay, is that that’s 33 sites mentioning him online and the quality of those sites are two, so this goes from one, I’m sorry from a hunter from 0 to 100, okay and they’re at it to citation flow goes from zero to a hundred.

This is pretty much the. How often is it is it happening? Okay, the frequency okay. This is the quality Google wants to know the quality. This is very important. This number is important. Okay, you want. You want to have a lot of these, but this is the most important one. So that’s these guys! Let me see our guys on page two, so here’s our guy on page one, okay, water, damage San Diego calm, so he has 16.

Now that’s less than the other guy right 23:16, but look at the trust flow. The quality is 14. Let me show you this chart. Not this one all right! Let me show you this one. So this is your backlink quality meter. Okay, so at a two, you can see that these guys are not even actually meeting low quality you need. You would need a three these guys at 14 are meeting low quality, but they’re actually just missing medium quality links.

Okay, this is so very important. You want to have all of your backlinks. You want to have them over 20. This is going to give you the power and the popularity that you need with Google to rank your business high in the top spot. So, actually to me you know if I wanted to get into the you know: water damage, repair, business. I would go ahead and just launch a site in San Diego and throw our powerful links to it and we would be ranked number one pretty rapidly, because at this site is has a trustful of 14.

So if we throw a start, throwing our twenty twenty-five plus links to it, we’re going to rank and go above the number one competitor in all of San Diego. So this is very, very important. This is the this, the King, daddy of all of SEO, right here. So, just to give you an idea of how powerful our links are, I’m going to show you a couple of our clients, alright, alright. So this is um Robert Sunstein he’s orthodontist here in San Diego.

So, let’s look at the power of this site since we’ve had him so look at this site. Only 18 links trust flow 30 off the charts. Okay. This is the type of power talking about San Diego, auto connection, huge used, auto dealer here in San Diego ranked number one. Let me show you the power of his site, I’ll, even show you our agency site for amp local 28 trust flow, very high pause, all right, 32 links.

So let me show you even amp local, it’s real, quick, this last one. I just want you to get an idea. This is this is so important if you’re going to be ranked on page one if you’re going to beat competitors if you’re going to go over the top, if you’re going to increase your sales and increase your web traffic increase, your targeted lead acquisition. This is how it’s mainly done. Is these backlinks these influence pages these these popularity links? Okay, you know: do you want an average blue-collar worker writing a blog about you, or do you want Warren Buffett, mentioning you on the internet, that’s kind of to put it in more perspective.

That’s what I’m talking about here. You know what the Warren Buffett links and we have the Warren Buffett links alright. So again, that’s that quality is, is unbeatable over 30 plus off the charts. Okay. So, like I said when I first started this article, the whole point in this article was to show you search engine optimization. Why it’s important you know what does it take? What does it do and your why your business needs it? You know, as you can see being on page 2 of Google, is not going to get you anywhere.

It’s just going to get you a pretty representation of your business online. It’s not actually going to generate leads, so I really hope that this made sense for your. 8 Local SEO Hacks that will Skyrocket your Traffic

My name is luc de round the founder of ranking academy. Uk, where I talk about the best tools, tips and ways to promote your local business online step by step and keep by click on my blog, I cover everything. Any local business owner needs to know from search engine optimization to social media.

My goal is to help you thrive online, so you can drive more visitors to your business and ultimately make more money if you’re new here consider, subscribing and clicking on the bell button, so you don’t miss any of my new articles. One last thing don’t forget to check out the description below, which is where I put additional notes and links I refer to in this tutorial. So, let’s jump in with our first hack hack number one simulate local search results for different locations.

You may or may not know that Google uses location tracking technology to determine the location of a searcher. With this technology, Google can guess users exact location based on the IP address or GPS coordinate of the device they are using. This means that if I search for the keyword electrician near me on my office computer, I will get a very different set of results than if I conduct the same search for my computer at home located several miles away from my office.

This not only affects the Google map back results, but also the rest of the results, especially when there is a clear indication. The search is based on local terms such as a city, a postcode or a near me query. So unless you use a tracking tool, it makes it difficult to check if your business ranks in different locations when you are doing your research from the same computer. But if you don’t want to spend the money on a tracking tool, there is a free hack.

You can use to quickly check if your business ranks for your target keywords in specific locations. Even if you are using the same computer, go to Google and open an incognito window. Doing your research in an incognito window will prevent Google from giving you results. Based on your previous history, so the outcome will be totally clean in your address bar search for a keyword you are targeting for your business.

I’r going to use the example of one of my clients website with an electrician and wants to rank for the term emergency. Electrician in multiple local areas, near where his business is based, press return in the address bar, remove everything after the keyword parameter and add the following command and near equals city, replace the parameter city with the location area. You want to see the results for.

In this example, I’m going to use Bexleyheath, which is where the business is located and sure enough. They are at the number one spot in a map pack and in the traditional results. Let’s switch to a neighboring location called Dartford. This time they are number two in the map pack and number one in the more conventional results. This hack is very handy, as it enables you to quickly identify locations where your business is not ranking, just create or improve existing content for these areas to get more visibility and more traffic.

Moving on to hack number two find keywords: your competitors are ranking for it. All starts with someone typing a keyword in a search engine. If your business’s website ranks high enough for it, it is likely you will get a new visitor and hopefully, a new customer understanding. What keywords people are searching for is the foundation of search and that’s why it is extremely important to do some keyword.

Research before you start creating content for your site, but keyword research can be a bit tedious and time-consuming, especially if you start from scratch and if you’re new to this SEO game, you won’t really know where to start here is a hack that not only will speed Up your keyword, research process, but will also give you the ammunition you need to generate lots of traffic head over to neil patel comm.

Slash, ubirr, suggest ubersuggest is an awesome tool for anyone to improve their organic traffic and perfect. For those of you on a very tight budget, because it’s totally free okay, so let’s imagine I run a dental practice in London and these guys are one of my competitors. Boleyn dental comm, just copy their website address and paste it in the uber suggests. Search box. Select the appropriate country and click the search button uber suggests will display a statistical overview of the performance of this particular website, which includes the number of organic keywords.

It ranks for the estimated monthly traffic they receive the strength of the site, as well as the number of Link’s pointing to the site. You can scroll down for more data, but what we want here are the keywords, this guy’s ranked for just click on the tab, organic keywords which will take you to all the keywords that drive traffic to this site. The results are organized by volume, which is the number of times keyword a search for every month, position, which is where this business ranks in Google.

For this keyword, the estimated number of visitors they get for that keyword, the webpage on that site that ranks for that keyword and, finally, the SEO difficulty, which is how competitive this keyword is pretty cool right. Click on the export button on the bottom of the page. To download the full list of keywords in CSV format, which you can import either in an Excel spreadsheet or a Google sheet where you can filter through the data easily, so it’s faster to identify the best opportunities.

What you are looking for our keywords with low difficulty and high volume, for which you are not ranking for repeat this process with all your competitors aside and start creating content on your own website to target all the keywords you have identified as being opportunities. This should yield a lot of traffic time to move on to hack number three find links that are pointing to your competitors website, but not yours.

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you’ve, probably noticed. I talk frequently about the importance of getting external links. Pointing to your website. Links are one of the strongest signals Google uses to rank websites, the more quality links you have pointing to your site, the higher you will rank. This means that if your competitors have got better links pointing to their site than you, it is highly likely they will outrank you to beat them.

You just need to get better links pointing to your site, and why should you start by looking at your competitors? Links like we did with their keywords, go back to uber, suggest and enter one of your competitors web address. Let’s take with our dentist example. On the left hand, side menu select the option backlinks. This will show all the links that are pointing to this site. In this example, this website has two thousand six hundred and nineteen links coming from two hundred and seventy seven domains or, if you prefer web sites.

This means that some web sites have included more than one link on their pages, this dentist site to reduce your workload. You just want to identify only the web sites that are pointing to our competitors. We don’t need to see all the links to do. This make sure the one link per domain option is selected. The other thing we want to do is to select the follow option. The difference between a followed and a nofollow link is that Google doesn’t give any value to a nofollow link.

Therefore they don’t interest us. What we now have is a list of valuable links from unique web sites pointing to our competitors sites. All you need to do now is to go through each link by clicking on the open window icon and check if you can replicate what your competitor has done. Repeat this process with all your competitors site and export all the links in an Excel or Google sheets to make things easier to manage.

Let’s continue with hack number four identify citations inconsistency. If you don’t already know what a citation is, let me give you a brief recap. It is a mention of your business on the web, which generally includes the name the address and the phone number of your business, also known as nap. Citations are generally found in business directories such as yell, Yelp and many other specialized directories.

You can find a comprehensive list of the main directories where your business should be listed on my site at ranking academy da koat UK slash tools, slash business citations. If you haven’t done it yet, you should submit your business details to each and every one of these directories as they do influence rankings and help search engines. Trust your business is legitimate. The only caveat is your business.

Citations need to be a hundred percent identical across all directories. If they’re not, it will negatively impact your rankings and, obviously your traffic, and when you submit your business to multiple directories, it can be easy to make. A mistake here is an example of a dentist located in London called Camden high street dental practice, although it is correctly named in Google, my business and has the right address and phone number.

When I dig around the web, I can find this business listed under a different name in another couple of directories: the dental practice the postcode is also incorrectly displayed in Yelp and in Facebook. This type of inconsistency can be very harmful for your business, since Google will struggle to understand which business is, which you can verify the consistency of your citations manually if you want to, but it would take a lot of time and efforts and you’re not even guaranteed You will capture all of the errors either.

Instead, you can automate this process by using a tool called bright. Local write. Local is not free, but you can use it for free for two weeks without having to even enter a credit card which is more than enough for what we need to do so go to bright. Local com create an account once you’ve created and verified your account. You can add your business details using either your google, my business details or fetch your location manually, go through the location process, set up filling in all the details and let the tool pull out the data for your business.

This should take a bit of time, so be patient once finished, go to the main dashboard and sell the citations options in there. You should see where your business is mentioned across the web, and if there are any errors they will be highlighted in red. All you need to do now is correct. The errors, in addition, bright local, will also less directories where your business is not listed, which is the perfect opportunity for you to add more citations.

Let’s move on to hack number five increase your number of Google reviews with a custom build link. Did you know that reviews are the third most impactful indicator that Google looks at to rank businesses in a map pack? Well, you do now. This means the more reviews your business gets. The higher your business world rank in Google if those reviews are good, of course. Collecting reviews, however, is not always easy and can be a cumbersome process.

Many clients you deal with can’t be bothered to search for your business online, then search for the link where they can give you a review, etc. The trick here is to make it simple for them once you’ve finished dealing with the client just send them a quick email and ask them politely if they wouldn’t mind, leaving a review for your business. If you don’t know what to write download my review email template at the address showing on your screen or in the description.

But here is the real hack. Add a link in the email which, when clicked on, will open the Google review box for your business directly on your clients. Computer. All they need to do is write the review in the box. But how do you create the link? It couldn’t be any simpler right. Local I’ve just launched a nifty little tool completely free that allows you to do this in seconds head over to the address displayed on your screen, search for your business in the search box and click on the fetch links and ID button.

This will return. Three results. Click on the icon, next to the review link to copy the link and add it to your email. This will make the process so easy. You should see the number of reviews increased significantly along with your ranking and obviously the traffic to your site time to look at hack number six check your local positions in Google map. This is somehow a little similar to hack number one, but this time we only focus on the ranking positions in Google Maps, go to player, calm and choose the tools option from the main menu from the drop-down.

Select local rank, tracker, scroll down and start searching for. Your business add a keyword you want to check rankings for choose the distance between the pins that will get displayed on the map and a great size. The free version only allows you to pick three. You should start seeing where your business francs on Google Maps for the keyword you’ve selected. Why is this useful? Because you can easily identify areas where you’re just outside the map? Pack like position number four or number five, with a little bit of optimizing work? You should be able to climb a couple of positions, so you end up in the top three results and drive a lot more traffic to your site.

As I mentioned, the free version only allows you to choose a grid of up to three pins, but a full license for this only costs eighteen dollars a year. So it’s worth investing in it. Hack number, seven add quality content to your site. The quality and relevance of the content on your website is very important. The better your content is the more likely you will be rewarded by Google and the more traffic you will get.

But how do you find out? What type of content you should be adding to your site and how should you write it? Let’s go to uber suggests, once more and once again, let’s enter one of our competitors web address in the search box. Our dentist and click on search on the left hand, side menu click on the top pages option. This will show you the most popular pages for this site, based on the amount of traffic they receive like most sites.

The home page is the most popular one. So, let’s ignore it for now, let’s have a look at their content page instead at number two, I can see that a teeth. Whitening page is very popular and receives about 660 visitors a month, which is quite a lot and if you click on a view all option next to the page, it will show you the keywords that are driving traffic to the page, along with the rankings straight away.

I can see that teeth, whitening, London and best teeth whitening London – would be very relevant because they are very localized and although teeth whitening has a lot more potential in terms of volume, it is way too broad and likely to be very competitive. Since they’re ranked in position four and five for these terms, I wonder what their page looks like. So, let’s click on it. As you can see the page, it’s clearly optimized for teeth, whitening, London and is very decent, but the content is very thin.

So here is the hack if you want to get the chance to rank above your competitors, for the same keywords: just build better pages. Yes, it’s as simple as that. This dentist could have added a whole section around frequently asked questions: a article showing the process of teeth, whitening a price list, how to section that would explain how to look after your teeth once they’ve been whitened and much more.

That would make this space a lot more comprehensive and Google will see that and will reward you accordingly repeat this process with all your competitors and create better content every time it will pay off massively hack, number eight add popular Q & A s to your Google. My business profile – this is a widely overlooked feature in Google. My business and chances are your competitors aren’t doing it within Google, my business, you can add popular questions and answers.

The problem is anyone and everyone can ask questions and answer themselves on your own google listing which sometimes lead to some bad results. Would you want to see this in your profile? This Ellucian add your own questions and answers yourself. It will a prevent anyone from asking for something. That’s already been asked B, you will be able to give an accurate answer C. It will display right in your Google, my business panel, making your listing stand out and generate more traffic D.

It might even get displayed in Google search results. So what kind of questions should you put in there as a business owner? You know better than anybody else. What question people always ask time to put pen to paper and start collecting them, then add them to your Google, my business profile. You just bring up your business, listing click on the ask a question option and simply add both the question and the answer.

If you’re not sure what questions to add just head over to answer, the public comm tap a keyword related to your business in there and click on get questions. This will bring a list of the most common questions related to that keyword. Click on the data option to make this easier to read, find out what the most relevant questions are and write an answer for them then add them to your Google. My business ethic use final tip each question as a like option.

The more like an answer has the higher up. It goes on the list. So if you want a specific question to sit right at the top make sure it gets some likes all good things come to an end, including this article. Don’t just read it start playing with the various tools I have talked about and make changes to your site today, the sooner you do it, the sooner you’ll benefit from it. I love creating tutorials for you guys and I’m always open to new ideas.

So if you want to suggest any topic, you want me to cover in my next tutorial, just post them in the comments below. In the meantime, happy marketing,

Generate $30,000 more PROFIT For Your E-commerce Store – Klaviyo Email Marketing Tutorial

This is email marketing. Okay, so I’m going to teach you everything I know and everything you need to know about Clavel about email marketing, how to use this tool and busy if you’re running, ecommerce, Shopify or basically any e-commerce platform right.

I think every is definitely the best email marketing tool at the moment and I’m not biased just cause. I use it too. It’s like it’s seriously. The segmentation and stuff is very, very deep in advance, so I’m going to show you a few things that you could possibly do as well and show you a few results that you can try. Okay, so I’m just going to go into my screen right now and I’m going to show you okay.

So these are this like e-commerce, a tutorial – and these are the things I’m going to teach you today. So I’m going to teach you everything about campaigns, flows, templates list and segments integrations automations and what flows as well and I’m going to show you exactly on screen as well. So you can see exactly how the dashboard looks like and see whether you want to use it for yourself in e-commerce as well.

Okay. So, let’s start off okay, so campaigns campaigns are basically the non automated manner broadcast sense of your emails. These are basically imagine like people sending emails to you every single day right. Those are like man or broadcast stuff right. The person has to write it out and they send it out to the prospect and the contact one time, and basically it only sends one time. Okay, so after that period right that email is never going to be used again, okay, so this is obviously a schedule in advance as well.

So, for example, for a big ecommerce brands right that you are used to sending three to four emails every single week, so that you can consistently a follow up with the customer, and this is obviously scheduled in advance alright. So let me show you right here. Okay, sorry wrong: okay, Safari! Okay! So you can see here. This is the clever dashboard I’ll give you a brief orientation right now. So this is the clever dash bar, and this is one of the accounts that we handle.

So, for example, on the left hand, side is very, very organized everything: here’s the buttons or campaigns, close templates, listen segments integrations and stuff right. So if you scroll down here, I’m on the dashboard right here, so these objectives and performance, I’m on the dash pot, you can see right and then these are just suggestions that clever has also given out okay. So here all the analytics, as you can see, and then here your flows and I hear your campaigns right.

So at one glance I like this bow a lot because you can see at one glance everything that’s happening, a business. What is generating and more profit and revenue, as well as what is clever, doing on the back end as well all right and then, as you can see, the segmentation of the number of dates last year today. As far as you can see, what type of other revenue blogs is driving as well? Okay, so on the right inside, like very simple stuff support, blog and as well as the account name as well.

Okay, this is it for the dashboard okay. So for campaigns, a sourcing as you can see right, you can click on the left hand side, and this is campaign campaigns here – everything that you have sent in the past and just to create a new campaign. I’r going to show you how to do that. Okay, so, on the right hand, side here, okay, you can see right place order, so how much money this is generated per email.

So imagine just by sending emails right, you could make thousands of dollars right. Fantastic stuff like like nuts, was not so like really sexy right now, right right, but the execution-wise not sexy, but this is really sexy. Okay, you can see right on the right-hand side, this blue button. You can press the create campaign and for self I’ll just put test all right, so the tiger – I won’t put anything at this moment, I’m I’ll just put email so clever, also recently announced likely have a SMS feature, so you actually can send out SMS broadcast to Your contact list, if they opt in obviously so that’s really fantastic.

Alright, so you can press, create your campaign and afterwards a little or fall so your campaign name, who are you sending to so, for example, I’m just going to send to some random I’ll. It’s right here: okay, so you smart, sending okay smart, send it! You can see right if someone else has already received an email in the last 16 hours right, then I do not send them right. So the contactor I won’t have multiple email sent sends them cause.

Do feel like it’s spam from you, so they will not crisscross one another and obviously UTM tracking is just for your Google Analytics and tracking all right so save and continue to the content. And basically this is the editor right here. So this is the editor and basically from who, from who your subject line preview text and save changes as well. Okay, so in here this text-based rich HTML and use template.

So in this case, I’m just going to use our template because it’s easier, so I’m just going to use something that okay, let me just put this put test, Save Changes alright and then use template. Okay and now I can just pick a very very nice template that they have already on use in the past right, so I don’t have to start from scratch. You know I mean so, if you’re actually using it for your own store right, you don’t have to be creative and stuff.

You just use what people are doing and like a successful already and now you just replicate them. Okay, let me show you, this is actual the text editor and stuff and how you’re going to use as you can see, it’s like a and drop builder. I, like you a lot just because you don’t have to think right is very intuitive as well. So all you do is really drag stuff and then you just drop – and you can see – is very, very responsible.

So everything from the text and the size and um I’ve used other email providers before and is a very clunky. I feels like the UI is not very nice. To kind of edit in covers is much better alright, so she can see here right everything from the image you can start, so you can save your templates as well, so you can just reuse your email over over again your logos and stuff, and it is really Like a class or if your site, I’m I’m in a graphic design class – and this is just the software that does this okay, so everything from products, if you can’t direct the products you can see it automatically syncs with my Shopify saw alright, so very, very simple.

Stuff, okay, I press cancel right here. Okay, social links, horizontal, can save drop shadow, a tables buttons right. So if I want a button right here, drop it boom finish that safe, easy, okay, so very, very simple stuff and in terms of designing emails, I think it’s super simple right. For example, if you want to integrate like canva right now, you design something on camera. Bring it on klaviyo and insert it in super super fast, alright, pretty easy stuff.

Alright, I’m just going to press save content alright, so that is basically it for campaigns and stuff, so yeah moving on flows. Okay, if water flows flows are basically fully automated sequence flows and templates that so there’s like 77 a sequence – and there are four emails they’re going to be sent okay, examples of it for e-commerce, especially right, abandon, cut browser Bannerman, post purchase.

Welcome series. Alright, these technical things you do have to know at this moment, I’m I’m just telling you that they a lot flows that you can use and there’s a lot of templates that clever has given you as well. So you do have to think right. Is you literally just execute the thing? Okay? Why do I keep opening okay? Let me see okay, so Safari, okay. So let me right now go to flows and show you a few examples as well.

Okay, so you can see here right. They already will show me what I really have, but I’m just going to create a new flow to show you how easy it is alright, so you can see you can create flow and you can create from scratch or you can just already use something that has Been working in the past okay, so I would definitely recommend you to do this just to save time and get things about running, to make more money.

Okay, so you can see here right, for example, a better cut remind us. I can just take this and I’ll. Just put test okay I’ll just put test, and then the text I put nothing and they’ll, give you a floating media. I press create flow and I’m already in the email template editor. So super simple with like what three clicks of the button. I’ve really gotten like a to email sequence and I just going to build this sequence out.

Okay, so you can see here I just automation, workflow and on that effing site you can press email, SMS update profile. So if I drag you can see right. If I drag an email, is the tree drag and drop super easy, very nice. Okay, SMS same thing, update profile, yeah, okay, time, delay time delay is basically the interval, the time interval between our emails. So you can just see you just if I drag your time.

Delay in between yeah yeah and there we go okay. So in this case I don’t need to time delay. That makes no sense. I’r just going to delete the time delay all right, conditional, splits, also um, you give it an if-else condition. So if you do any programming right, it’s very, very simple right so, for example, a conditional space, for example – I drag in here, okay and I select a condition so, for example, if someone is not in this list right, then okay, I press, save okay, wait! So just choose value: okay! Yes, if someone is in this newsletter right, then is it yes or no, and I can press save right so if it’s in this newsletter, you’ll continue flowing on to this flow.

These emails right here. If it’s not right, then you just press exit right, super simple stuff, and you can see how you can play around with a lot of things. So, for example, abandon cut right. You can say if someone has not purchased this at all, offer them a higher discount. You see, I mean you can be very creative with your flows and stuff, and this is like stuff you can play around with right.

So this is like email, marketing, automation, all right, so trigger split triggers, but it’s like something needs to trigger it and obviously then the display will come by as well right. So you can choose. You can see here, for example, a shipping rate. Let’s see what else you can use total discounts attributed flow discount codes. Okay contains some possible. You know that this person has used discounts in the past right and then you can.

You can target them through using a trigger split and then you can. You can give the send em different messaging and email as well right so very, very simple stuff, but also very very advanced, because you can build all your flow to be very, very complicated okay, so you can see here right once you have finished your email and Stuff, you can press this and your past life and email is life right. Okay, I’m just going to turn it off real, quick, alright and then you can press on right and sight as well show analytics.

So you can see how much money is generated from the open rates and click show rate. So, like I like a lot just because in one view you can see everything you can understand whether the flow is working or not all right on the left-hand side. Here you can also scroll through your your other, your flows, so that you actually know like, and you can jump around. The flows are very fast as well all right.

So let’s base get high analytics and I go back alright. So that is flows, and I hope that kind of gives you a sensing of how powerful Club it is at the moment all right, all right, so templates what a templates! Okay, I can kind of show you temperatures now, but basically our templates are the designs that you can use immediately. All right, let me show you listen segments right, so you can segment your audience as well.

Okay, keep opening up from goddammit, okay anyway, yes, okay, so you can see here on the left inside lists and segments. You can press that okay, so this will be your entire list and you can see all the data from there from here and you can segment to it. It’s so that okay on the right inside a press create create list, slash segment. If I want a dynamic segment of it, I select condition. So if someone is has done or not done, okay, so if someone has clicked an email at least once over all time, I create a segment and give it a name, and I send specific messaging towards that segment as well.

Okay, you see right up the more specific your targeting is the higher the capture rate, the higher open rate, as well as higher higher conversion revenue as well right, so very, very interesting, stuff, okay, okay, so that’s basically listen segments very simple. Okay, integrations integrations is very powerful because if you are operating on any of the supported platforms, it’s very easy to integrate your your email, marketing software, basically to your Shopify, saw or your e-commerce or in any sense okay, so integrations here, there’s like Facebook Ads as well.

So you can actually integrate your VIP list. You know that this specific customer segment has bought from your unit process like high lifetime value right. You can actually put that and put that into an email list, and then you can put it and pump it as custom audience on Facebook as well. Okay, they can run ads to the audience or create look like audience from there, make it up making making it a very qualified audience.

Okay, so yeah, you can see all right when we integrate that what Facebook MailChimp s about Shopify, right here and very, very simple stuff because, like if there’s API connection between these two software’s, it’s like a very seamless integration right. You don’t really really have to think about it and your focus on growing the business okay, so you can see here you can just press update and obviously, once you integrate so one-click install as well, so integrations very nice stuff and you can see all the integrations Yeah they have integrated with other softwares that you can want.

You may want to use WooCommerce shipstation, Salesforce, recharge CRM, Magento, it’s a drip notice, not rip, okay, yeah, so a lot of love, other software’s and you can connect via API, so so very nice. Alright! Alright last thing, I’d like to say is: like people don’t really talk about this, because it’s not um how I say this: it’s something that you don’t see when you buy a software right, it’s something you only see when you experience problems with the software and one Thing about travel is that the documentation is fantastic, so everything that you ever need to know right.

It’s like in help center Help Center is the documentation basically and like if you can see here, I’ve like grew this a ton of times and so like um. All the documentation, there is very simple, so you can see a live click on this this article multiple times just cuz. I do. I need a reference back to it right and then for the contact wise and the support contact us the support us, although they do have live chat right.

I would say that email in terms of responding to me it’s fast. It’s like we didn’t want business day. Ok, so if you are worried about whether their support right, there’s no live chat in that sense, but there is an email in email follow-up, so they have an email support right there. Ok, I hope this gives you kind of a sensing. Ok. Last thing I just want to show you one more thing: ok sign up pops right.

So if you, if you are using like um sumo, is it get sumo or like privy? Those are things you can just forget about that subscription already cake level. Does it’s already built in you can just install the code snippet right there and then you can create your signup form immediately from here right. So you can see here right if I wan na email, pop-up. Okay, I can press, ok, press create form, true sillas, just cause choose one.

This right create a form and I can customize the email pop-up right. Also, I can customize it based on whether you are land on a page or not so incredibly powerful, customisation entities in behavior, and, let me see okay, you can see here right on the levant site by URL, only show on certain URLs right, so very powerful stuff. When you have a product, for example, if I’m selling imagine this Kindle right here, if I land on the Kindle product page right and then I can put up email, opt-in say: hey, are you interested in Kindle? Well, obviously, they are but offer you a 10 %.

This count on this Kindle books when you purchase this Kindle right so very, very um, muscat, specific stuff, they would increase and drive conversion as well, okay, so that makes no sense. Okay, so yeah blocks. You can see it’s literally like the same editor as the email. It’s just that it’s just for the form right, so it makes it incredibly simple to do and it’s like it’s literary art, class. Okay, I keep saying that but yeah, okay and afterwards you can just publish your pop-up right here and your show on your shop right on your Shopify store.

Okay, I think that’s about it and I think there’s one thing that is very underrated: okay, browse the venom and yes blossom. Animal is very powerful because lie safe. Alright, if you learn on a product page, because clavo has website tracking, you actually can install like a JavaScript code on your Shopify store and then basically they were track. Whether you visited that site right. So there is a flow called browser Penniman where, if they actually land on a specific product page, you can send them a specific sequence of emails that walk that is in line with that route.

That products well right. So you can see here right. I press create flow. I search for brows. Okay, you can see you browser Bannerman yeah. So basically, this flow is. It allows you right when someone views a product myself user product on your store, you can basically send them a specific email to that. So you know that they like this, can know so obviously you’re going to send up content about about our Kindles and books right so very, very like stuff, that’s like you don’t see from outside, but where you actually use it right increases conversion, a tunnel etana.

Basically, okay and I’m because email is going to be your most profitable blog. Although, like Facebook Instagram, Google is going to be a paid traffic blogs right, it’s going to be your driving force right, but emo is going to be the back end. It’s going to be the most profitable blog for you in the long run, and that’s where you’re going to exit when you want to sell the company as well. Alright, I hope this gives you insight about it.

Okay, you can see all right. Okay, it sucks. Okay, it’s like 10 %, 10 % of the revenue; okay. This should be a much much higher percentage, but at this point not not so much because I’m not handling this email all the time. Okay, so you can see yeah and uh ya, know droga yeah! Okay, if you’re actually interested right, you can sign up through this link. Yes, oxg mediacom, slash, Clavel, right and so because, like we are official travel partners so like Nick and Kitty is my rep okay.

So if you sign up through the link right, you just saved from Jonathan and then do take care of you, okay cuz. They know me already and like we like work together for quite a while already so they’ll just take care of you when you’re on board. As well, okay, so you can just sign up. Oh, I see Mediacom forward, slash Clavel if you’re interested in checking out this ecommerce, email, marketing, software and yep, hopefully, okay, I talk too much but yeah.

Okay, hopefully you enjoy this article. Please take this information and my go. Do something about it and go make money for yourself or something yep. Okay, there’s about it, see you next article! Okay,

How To Write and Cut with Your Cricut

But more than that, I am a self-proclaimed die-cutting enthusiast myself and I love creating different projects. One of the questions I’ve been getting all of the time is: how can I tell my cricut to draw so in today’s article I’m going to share with you exactly how to make a super easy Father’s Day card with one of our digital cut files that you Can get if you’re, a member of makers that I learned if you’re, not a member click, the link below come join us because it’s a lot of fun.

You get so many digital cut files and you can learn more about it link below. But let’s head on over to design space and start designing our card, okay, guys! What you see right now is that we’ve already uploaded our image from makers going to learn, and we already have a 4 by 4 card base designed and added the score line. It’s super easy to do this, I’m going to teach you both of this right now before we even talk about drawing.

So what you want to do is click upload and we’re going to upload the Father’s Day image and right here you can see we have it and drag it and drop it. So this is an exclusive cut file that you can only find at makers online, and I love this file because you’re able to create such a simple card with it and I love it so just like so you have it. So it’s right here on the map. We already have one side, so it’s good to go.

If you wanted to create the same card base, we have you want to click on, shapes, add a square and then what we’re going to do is we’re going to unlock right up here, and we want the width to be 4 inches by 8 and then press Enter and you can see here – we have that so we’re going to lock that and we can go ahead and make that widened. So we can visualize a little easier click shaves and let’s have a score line so right here we have this score line and we’re just going to rotate it just like so and then we’re going to take this over on our card and expand it out.

A little bit and then we’re going to select both of those layers, I accidentally selected what I didn’t need and we’re going to click a line in Center, just like so once that’s complete we’re going to click and attach and check this out guys. You have an awesome card ready to go and all we want to do is drag the happy Father’s Day over onto the card, just like 7, once you’re happy with the placement now we’re going to want to go ahead and change this from cut.

So when you upload a file straight to Cricut, it’s going to have the little scissors, and that means it’s going to cut in the layers panel. We want to click on that and we want to click it to right and then we’re going to click on the other layer and we’re going to have it right that as well. So now right now, this is going to have it cut all in one color. We want to tell it to write in two different colors, so let’s select the little tie, let’s change that color, so we’re actually using our calligraphy silver.

So I’m just going to slip a silver metallic and it’s going to draw silver metallic and then write in black happy Father’s Day, so didn’t create this project. The last step is we’re going to select both layers and we’re just going to select, attach that’s going to tell it to draw and cut right like we see it in design space to make sure that looks, good, we’re go, select, make it, and you can see Here it’s going to score, draw and then cut you can see this by going over to the left hand, side bar – and it’s going to tell us so if you’re happy with this, if everything looks good, really easy, we can click continue and then it’s connecting to Our machine via bluetooth and now we’re going to select our material we’re using a white cardstock that we really love.

We found it on Amazon and it’s perfect for printing cut, it’s perfect for drawing, and it’s just a really great go-to white cardstock. So we’re just going to select medium cardstock right here and it’s telling us that we need to load our scoring stylist in to clamp a so all we want to do is open, clamp, eight, like so grab our scoring stylist and we’re going to pop it into Place and once you’re ready, we can go ahead and take our mat.

We’ve placed our piece of cardstock here and we’re going to load it into the Michigan awesome, it’s loaded into the machine and now, lastly, we’re going to turn on fast mode and we’re going to press the flashing Cricket button awesome, so it all it did was to Do the score line, and now it’s telling us to stop it’s time to change out the tool. What we’re going to do is open, clamp, a pull out our scoring stylist and place it into the department, and now it’s saying that it wants us to add our silver metallic pin.

All we want to do is take off the lid and a fun tip is to place the lid on the top, because if your craft space looks anything like mine, you will lose it. So all we want to do is press this into the machine. Just like we did with the scoring stylist clamp a is so easy to work with and then we’re going to close it once that’s ready to go. All we want to do is press the flashing Cricket button again awesome it’s time for another tool change all.

We want to do is open, clamp, a pull out this pin and we’re going to put the cap back on it and then we’re ready to open our black pin just like we have done previous and pop it into place, and then, lastly, we’re going to close It and when you’re ready to go press the flashing Cricket button again awesome guys it’s done cutting. What we’re going to do is we’re going to add our map, and you can see here we have an awesome Father’s Day card.

What I love is that you can have the cricket draw cutting pages little cards. I think this would be awesome for the kids to be able to color in the Happy Father’s Day, and it would be a perfect little card that they’re able to give for Father’s Day. I love that we have this score line here, because it’s already creasing it for us, and now you have an awesome Father’s Day card. It’s super easy to make.

I hope this shares with you some helpful tips when you’re wanting to draw with your Cricut. If you have any questions, leave me a comment. Give me a thumbs up and again make sure you’re subscribed for more DIY articles as well as creative tutorials and again, if you would like to get this cut file and 500 more digital cut files, come check out makers going to learn calm.
