You can see I’ve got kind of this cover photo we’re going to Show you how exactly how to create this today got a profile picture of me coming down here. I’Ve got you know a little over 28,000 followers right now and then, if we come down, I’ve got this post up here at the top, because when somebody new comes to my Facebook page, I want a little bit of an intro a little bit like telling them Who I am and what I do, And you can kind of see down here: Hey, here’s, some essential tools and things to know.

There’S a software or some trainings, Here’s some Facebook groups or some different things, and so Basically, if someone’s brand new, but they see your Facebook page, they can come here and get to learn a lot about you now. They’Ve got an About section all that stuff, But also it’s sometimes nice, to have this as your first post, you guys can see here. I’Ve got about two hundred twenty-five likes.

I’Ve got tons of comments down here That you know people are just inter engaging with me. Alright, so let’s come over here to the main Facebook part, I’m going to show you guys exactly how to Create your Facebook page if you’re, starting completely from scratch for like Jason, have a personal profile, But I don’t know how to create the business page. Let’S walk you through how to do that. Alright, so we’re going to Do is click up here on this down arrow in the top right and we are going to go to a create page okay.

So now we can go through, and this is really easy. Facebook’S made it super easy for us, They’re going to say: hey: Do you want to do a local business or place a public figure entertainment? What do you want? I would recommend a public figure because you want to go brand yourself Or if you have a local business or a place, then you can go through and do that as well. But I’m going to stick with a public figure right now.

We’Re going to Do is choose a category, So we just come down here. We choose What best fits our. So we can do you know public figure. We can do entrepreneur, which I believe that’s what I did Blog or chef coach, whatever you guys want to do so, let’s just stay well Just to keep it kind of generic or whatever We’ll just say, public figure right here, Okay, and as far as the name, I like to you, I, like I just used my own name, so I just use Jason Wardrop But let’s say you’re like in real estate.

For example, You might want to say Jason Wardrop And then you know Dallas realtor or Park City realtor like wherever you are located and then Realtors. So people know. Okay, like I know what Jason were drops page is all about. Okay, So we’ll say: Jason, Wardrop and then we’ll say We’ll go with Dallas Realtor right there, okay, because then, when they see like your posts on the news feed, They know like what you’re all about all right.

So now We’re just going to hit get started or you could just leave it your name guys what it’s honestly up to you, your preference. Okay, now We’re going to go through, says upload a profile picture. Okay! Now I think I’ve got one. I’Ve got one right here, so just make this easy. You can just go through Upload your picture now. One tip right Here is whatever picture you use on Like Twitter or Instagram, or any of those other ones make sure you guys use the same picture Because then it kind of like brand, you and people kind of recognize that profile picture mutant.

If you use it a different picture on Every single social platform, it really gets hard to keep it consistent and make sure it’s like a clear head shot. Alright, Nothing like with With you with, like you know, in the background or like that, your dog And then they like people can’t really tell it is people want to see who you are especially on your business, Facebook page Right. You can keep that stuff for your personal profile.

Help maybe like weird pic of you know something else, But with this you want to have a clear head: shot right: Okay, upload a cover photo me to show you guys how to do this here in a second. So we’re just going to skip this for right now and then this will take us to the next step. So we’ve got initially it says now. You can invite your friends guys, And this is an awesome, easy way to go through anything, Just kind of walk you through.

Okay: Here’s how you make your first post, which is fairly simple, and you guys probably ought to know how to do that. Alright, So what you can do now – and you don’t have to invite all of your friends, But you can maybe invite some family members, some people that you know would be interested in you and your business. But you just coming over here and just hit, invite on all these k. Now, I’m not going to invite these people, because This is obviously a demo Facebook page to go through and help.

You learn some of these different aspects, But this is an easy way to go: get your first 100 likes on Facebook without having to spend any money on Facebook ads or anything else right now. What I want to do is show you guys how to change this cover photo right here and how to make one really easily. So what we’re going to do is use a free tool, it’s called canva Canv a.Com, and then you can it’s really cool guys.

Cuz. You can go through. This is create a design, We click on more right here and they have all the dimensions already pre-built for you. So if you want to do like a youtube thumbnail or a Facebook ad Facebook, post, Instagram post, you got all these different options. So if we want to come down here, social media, an email, headers, okay, You got a Facebook event cover YouTube. Thumbnail. You’Ve got all these different one.

Facebook cover This is the one that we’re going to want to use right here. Cuz, the Facebook event Cover is a little bit different than the Facebook page cover right. So we’re going to want to use this one right here so we’ll do. Is click on this and They’ve got some pre-built designs right here, for you guys that really make it pretty cool, So you can kind of come in here. You know: choose these different ones.

They’Ve got a ton of options. They have a few options that I think costs a little bit money, But a lot of these you can honestly go through and use without spending any money. Okay, so it’s really pretty cool. You can just you guys could see this over here on the left. There’S tons and tons of different options and then let’s say we want. Let’S say we want this one right here: Okay, so we can say We’ll, say: Jason, Wardrop, Realty, we’ll stick with that theme right here, okay and they’ll say like Dallas, Realtor.

Okay, then, what we could do is, and if you guys look over here, one thing I tend to do like I added my my picture right here. It’S kind of goofy picture, but I just kind of leave This is. I don’t really need My picture there, because I’ve got a picture of myself right over here on the side. Okay, So what am I do since it’s real estate? I think I’ve got some cool real estate images uploaded over here.

So I might come over here and throw that in there and now you got a nice-looking Cover phone right there, okay! So now, if we hit download Go over here download This, you guys like that, took me literally what 20 seconds to go through and do that. Put my name on there put like hey, I’m a dallas realtor which guys I’m not by the way. Just this is demo right, all right, so that downloaded. So, let’s come back over here to our page.

All we got to do is click on add a cover as cool. You can actually add a little article on here as well, okay, but for this one Just keep it easy, We’re just going to add an image at first, So we’re just going to go: hey upload, a photo or a article, and then this is the one I Believe yep, That’s one We just created so now you guys can see. This is already starting to look a lot more professional And really nice and we haven’t spent any money right like you’re.

Getting your first hundred likes by inviting your friends here. You’Ve got a really nice background image back. Facebook cover photo using canva, canv a.Com. We’Ve got our profile picture right here and guys if I I’m in real estate, if I’m working with high-end real estate, I Probably shouldn’t use a picture of me in a hoodie right. You probably want to have a shirt and a tie like looking nice. You Want to fit the brand fit the you know, whatever you’re going after okay.

So now what we can do is come down here. It says create a username for your page Okay. Now This is really cool because, like see how says facebook.Com four slash, Jason, wardrobe, realtor and then a huge long number, we can actually make it. So it’s a lot easier for people to search so we say create a Username for your page, so we could say: Jason, Wardrop, Dallas realtor. Something like that Cana says hey check and you know it’s good to go.

So we hit crate username and Now the cool thing is is look, we could say hey. These are some of the easy links that people could go to. You could say: hey at the username jason wardrobe, Dallas, realtor Facebook.Com or we could even say facebook.Com for Jason. Wardrop Dallas Realtor, so we just use that URL right there. Now It should go to the page. We just crazy right see this. Oh that’s! That’S right here at this page, Okay.

So now what I want to do is go through and kind of, maybe like make some a few other tweaks here. So I’ve got this paid this post right here at the top, like I showed you guys, So you want to go through and he’d do a little bit of an about you Section you can see here what I did was like: hey guys, my name’s Jason port Drop, I’m your real estate mortgage broker, business growth, automation guy, I’m awesome an entrepreneur.

I kind of tell a little bit about me and I say: hey Here’s your next step. Like my page, You can jump on my free training comment and introduce yourself below, and You can look forward to do some articles and different things so like go through and customize it to your your business. You can say: hey, there’s a link to my website Message me on Facebook of you, We’re looking to buy or sell a home and just have a few of those different intros there Right.

So what I’m going to Do is I’m just going to make this quicker for this article, I’m going to go through and upload the photo, So my same profile picture photo here. Okay, just so like it creates that consistent branding And I’m going to throw in this. All this copy and paste text you guys can go to my Facebook page check it out, See I’ll, throw a link down in the description, so you guys can have that so Anyway, and then I’m just going to hit publish now You don’t want to hit, publish And just leave it at that because then what happens is anytime.

You make another post, It’s just going to go down below alright. So what I’m going to do Is click on these three dots right here And I’m going to say: hey pinned this to the top of the page right. So now, if you come back over here to this one, like I did this July 27th of 2016 right now, It’s 2018, and so I like that normally would be like stacked way down in my feed. But what I’ve done is I’ve post this at the very top, so anyone new is going to come in and see this right So anyway, guys.

These are some of the basic main things to get your facebook cover photo. Looking nice, your Facebook profile, your top post, Getting your custom username, Inviting your friends and get your first 100 likes or so, and now let me just show you guys really quick, this 100 % Free tool that you guys can have that it’s got you guys can Set the schedule to pulse to your Facebook page your Facebook profile, any groups You’re a member of or even Twitter and LinkedIn all at the same time, And we have some pre-built content for you guys.

You can see all this, so you got your personal profile And I’ve got you guys cuz here I’ve got a ton of business pages and then any groups that you create that you have to be the owner of the group. You can also post in those as well, so you can either come in here and create a test post, Throw in a link to your website or whatever It is, and then, let’s say, hey, let’s post this test group, You can see it like it’s going to Update in real time, So you can see what its going to look like on Facebook or even if you want to go to Twitter.

Okay, You can add an attachment, you can add a URL down here. It shows a post days to say: hey, let’s moat next January 31st, at 10:30 p.M. I want to post this and then you just hit Schedule and it goes through and schedules it and you can go through and create another post right now. One other cool thing that you guys can do is We’ve got this a library of content that you can go through, and you know like, let’s say We’re in real estate.

Ok, Because I work with a lot of real estate agents and help them generate leads and all that stuff. So we’ve got all these pre-built posts for you guys so, like hey check this place out How cool this hey, thoughts on this room and family room and kitchen? Is this your style? Okay? So these are just post like stay top of mind, with all your followers and get in front of them, And you know get some some likes and comments and get them gauging alright, so you can see these other ones They’re like quotes.

That means it’s like a link out to another profile and it takes a second to load sometimes, but we’ve got all these other ones that you can go through and and use. So what we’ll do is just hit schedule and Then we’ll go. We can add, like we could say, hey, let’s post it to our real-estate agent demo page And then we can say hey. We want to link back. You can link back to your website, Whatever it is, and then you can say hey.

I want to choose to post this on Tuesday at let’s do this one in the afternoon, so 1:30 p.M. And we just hit schedule, and then you got the schedule right here. You can come back and see. You don’t know how it works and you don’t know where to start. So today, I’m going to give you five steps you need to follow at the beginning.

First of all, you need to know what you’re going to sell. You need to know your product or service, because if you decide to change your product later on, if you have to change the whole thing again like you need to change your profile, you need to change your marketing campaigns and you need to change the whole approach. As well, then, you need to define your target audience. Many people think that their target audience is everyone who is interested in their product, but in stock.

It’S too general your target audience and the group of people who will buy your product. So you need to do some research try to find out where your target audience spends time online, what information they are looking for, it’s not allowed just to post marketing messages on the social media. You need to find out what your audience wants and needs and adjust. Your content and create content for them, the content that will give them value – and they will be interested in then define your positioning, which means what market problem your product or service can solve, and what makes your product or service stand out from the competitors once you Have all this information registered Instagram switch your personal account into a business account you can do easily in the settings of your account, start preparing valuable content and put the right information in your bio.

Your bio should attract your target audience so explain in what two sentences? What you do and what, whether you can bring to that and that’s it guys, start posting your content on a regular basis, build relationship with your audience and use different marketing campaigns to grow your business, guys I’ll try to go through all these steps in more detail. AlexisSkyy’s former BFF Ikey Tells ALL her Business on IG+lhhatl tommie jumps in it #fullbreakdown

Yes, you go shout out to almighty tsipras out there. We are gathered here today to sip some tea honey, so make sure you guys have your tea cups ready, because you already know this you, what hi hey you guys happy Friday. So I want to come out here and talk about the whole Alexis Kai situation. So if you guys don’t know this entire situation is messy as hell and it’s been going on all damn day.

So, what’s going down, is that basically Alexis sky from Love & Hip Hop? I don’t know whatever state you want to pick her and her BFF Ike. He got into it last week. That’S where, initially, all this drama happened, Alexis Skye accused him in front of the world of you know, basically setting her up and robbing her and now he’s seeking his revenge. So this is what she wrote. Last week she goes at King Ikey.

You were in my house with your friends and all my shit is gone now, MacBook my bags lol, so I’m not supposed to be upset. Did I come on IG with this shit? You sitting here doing snake shit. I don’t give a fuck about no blocking on the page. Tell them. I want my shit back. You didn’t call me once to ask me if I’m good or nothing, but that’s what started everything and then King Ikey took his Instagram page last night to basically air out her dirty laundry and then he started up a new gossip page and he also had people.

You know acts and any type of questions they wanted to, and then he was replying back to all of those questions and of course these questions were messy as hell honey. So I want you guys to go ahead and check out everything they did. He was exposing yesterday in today on Instagram y’all, go ahead and check this out. So after you got done exposing everything he then take the social media and he basically said not.

Everybody wan na call / text me trying to fix shit damage done soon. As you post it they’re trying to destroy my reputation, I bet don’t nobody call or text me damage done. My turn. 100. I key trick to social media and he wrote this. He says Alexis. You can stop calling my mother making up lies and sending threats before I retaliate soon, as some beers come my way game on, you started it by posting that email insinuating.

I accepted money from somebody without your knowledge. Well, you know damn well what the deal was and that’s all i’ma say. The only reason I did the question and answer was because you posted that email insinuating. What you did when you leave it alone, I will as well. Then he says I got a bunch of articles messages and info of you doing a lot of things, none of which I release then last but not least then says this and yes, somebody paid me to get Alexis to where they closed.

She agreed to do it, and now all of this is going on and she’s acting oblivious to the facts, so cou, since you want to play me like you didn’t know, and since you want to play me like you didn’t know and try to tarnish my brand. I’M going to do the same. I said I wouldn’t resort to this, but motherfuckers left me no choice so when he wrote that to me that was a threat and so a lot of people really upset they’re like okay.

It’S one thing for y’all to go back and forth, but now you time out, you know releasing the m’s and messages and article that’s crazy. So then, all of a sudden, nobody, nobody at all here – comes Tommy from living, hip-hop, ATL and basically she goes off on social media. So she says if I ever fall out with my punks and they try to air me out. I’Ma show them the meaning of hashtag Tommy. Shit. Loyalty is a foreign country that doesn’t exist, no more shit’s whack as fuck, and then she also went on to write.

I swear ain’t, no real ones left man. Shit say I don’t hate it here, but I hate you niggas here hashtag Tommy shit. So then people started kind of confronting her like well. Why are you getting involved? Nobody even mentioned your name like. Where did you come from? Everybody else wrote on her page and they’re like yeah, be letting her call y’all, punks and then Tommy came back and said it sounds better than faggots.

So that’s causing a lot of controversy t because people feel like you know under no circumstance should she be saying. Faggots and then up, he was saying: well, she wasn’t saying it. She was just saying that you know it’s better than calling them that, but then is it okay for her to cause them punks as well, and that’s something for the gay community to get involved with. That’S not really for me to you, know too much speak on, but I will say this.

You know I noticed a lot of women, especially in reality television hell, even in regular television in the industry. You know IG models and all that you know they let it have gay men, do their makeup and do the hair and make their eyebrows look on fleek and all that other stuff. But let some shit go down. There are types of punks and faggots and all types of shit like that, and I don’t say that to be disrespectful, I’m just keeping it real in the context of the conversation.

So if you can’t handle it, you know what you need to do, but that’s why? I always tell a lot of my gay friends, be careful who you call a friend and whose hair and makeup that you do make sure that they genuinely like you as a person and not just your skill, sets that you add to their beauty, because I noticed That a lot and she may say that it’s better to call them punks than faggots, but to me they’re both derogatory.

You know I’m saying that’s like saying: well, it’s better for you to call me a bitch Unum saying, as opposed to a whole they’re, both derogatory. I don’t want you calling me that, in a context where I don’t know you we’re not playing so but again, gay dudes still going to be lining up to do our hair and makeup. So again, that’s a conversation that gay men need to have amongst themselves and figure out.

Is this acceptable? So I don’t know that’s a whole nother can of worms honey, but the whole situation is definitely crazy. It’S definitely messy, but I will say this: I can’t Alexis sky we’re, never really friends, because I don’t care if me and my friend fall off. If I consider you a friend whatever you told me why we were friends, I’m going to take that with me to the grave, because that’s that’s how I was built.

We know a lot of bitches ain’t built like that. So as soon as they filed life, or as soon as again, they fucking fillings, they want to spill all the tea. Even if it’s fake tea made-up tea, you do, they want to try and do stuff to try and ruin. You or you know, try and make your reputation look bad, but, like I always tell people when you have integrity, your integrity speaks. So you don’t ever even have to address the bullshit.

A lot of folks are waiting for a Lexus guy to address it and say something: she hasn’t really responded back to his question and answer segment, maybe she’s ignoring him, but I think it’s really sad. You know. I do agree with Tommy when she says that there’s really no loyalty – and you have to be careful – who you call a friend who you allow into your inner circle, who you choose to deal with, because people are miserable and they wait for a moment of weakness.

To like take things overboard, it’s one thing to be upset. It’S one thing to go back and forth, but when you’re spilling you know private information and private tea between you and a so-called friend that lets me know that she was already saving up ammo who’s waiting for this day. So that shows more of your character but see where he messed up and where a lot of people mess up when they try and do shit like this, they end up playing themselves.

Okay and that’s the best part they play themselves and he played himself because what he doesn’t realize is that now you fucked up your reputation, who’s going to trust you with some real shit, who’s going to come to you in confidence and tell you anything. You know. I’M saying everybody’s going to know that you’re, just messy, you save receipts, to use it at a later date and throw it in people’s faces.

He just made his brand look ten times it’s worse, then Alexis guy could have ever made his brand. You know. So that’s the thing. Sometimes, when people try to hurt you, you just allow them to dig their own grave and then read how hard it is for them to climb about that bitch. So you know Alexis guys, probably somewhere sipping tea honey, having a good old funky time. Reading this whole mess that I keep made of himself because he looks a lot worse in the situation.

Then she does. She feels like she was robbed and she was upset and she’s trying to figure out what’s going on and then from that you go and tell are her business honey. When I tell you ain’t, no loyalty, that’s why I roll solo, dolo, okay, so hopefully Alexis Chi. Will be able to handle herself and figure out this shit out, but as far as I concerned, I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him with all that messy shit.

He don’t pull it on social media, so anyways y’all. Let’S go ahead and get the discussion poppin, I’m enjoying this Friday. The weather is good. I’M living my best quarantine lights. I hope you guys are doing good as well. So let me know your thoughts. Make sure you guys hit that subscribe button make sure you hit the thumbs up and last but not least, don’t forget to hit that notification bell. So that way you down with the notification squad honey.

So let’s go ahead and get the discussion poppin go ahead and leave a comment: all right: deuces

Is Twitter the only thing you need?

Top 3 tips to sell more cars with Social Media (Automotive Marketing Hacks)

The automotive conference for automotive professionals that want to build more be more, do more we’re about to hop over to the roundtable sessions where I’m going to be sitting with 20 or 30 guys and going off for about 20 minutes on social media marketing.

How they can build their brand grow, their business, get more customers, build their social media presence and ultimately make more money. So I’m going to hop over to that now we’re going to have some clips of the different conversations, the lessons the things I was teaching. So, let’s check it out and join today we’re going to cover some fun stuff, so I’m going to keep it basic. I want to have you guys, get the opportunity to discuss stuff, so I’m going to throw things out there we’re going to go over the secret content formula? Okay.

So this is the basic understanding of like ever. Have that moment where you go, what should we be? Posting on social media, like I’m, trying to post up it’s not working, no one responds. Should I post my car, should I post my customers sure what do I actually post? Well, there’s a really simple formula that breaks it down to two categories: we’re going to cover that the other thing we’re going to do is a simple paid advertising strategy.

So I’m going to go through what we do. So I own a social media marketing agency. We work with top brands, including OEM Zak, Honda, Canada, Suzuki, Canada, some of the big guys, hundreds thousands of dealerships. We also work with other brands, not just automotive, but I’m going to teach you what we do with them. That can also be applied to a lot of small businesses that we work with, which is a very simple way to think about Facebook Ads.

It’S not complicated, it’s not crazy algorithms, and if you guys ever want to try advertising, you can use this method. Then I’m going to cover how to use Instagram and Facebook DM the way. I use it again, very, very simple, not just about outreach but there’s simple things that no one’s doing that really up your sales. We’Re going to go over that, so we’re going to cover all three of those I’m going to start with the secret content formula.

You guys ready! Okay, what’s the biggest problem when you go to post content on social media, what do you guys post? I want to see some answers. What do you think is the right thing to be posted delivery photos what else yeah? What else yeah? What would you say, everything everything, hopefully not naked pictures, those those are private, what else anything else? Okay, how do you guys decide what to post? Is there any logic there, like anyone, have a theory or like why? Why do you post don’t post business every day like don’t, do delivery? Okay, okay, what I was, what doesn’t be heard rather, myths have.

We heard offers offers offers offers ok, ok, yeah yeah yeah, I’m familiar with GC what else yeah yeah, but when we read do you see what he does? Is he always making offers sort of? But how much do you see about entertainment, how much behind the scenes? How much with his wife, how much him having fun how much him! So here it’s right! So let me ask you this: what shows are most successful on TV? We see these either right the show it’s either massive education or information like shark tank, like it’s fun, you’re alert or it’s drama.

It’S entertainment, it’s the Kardashians. I don’t read the show, but a lot of people read keeping able to Kardashians right. Why? Here’S? What I’m eating here’s, who I’m mad at here’s, what my mom did: here’s, what my sister did and people tune into that because naturally we’re wired for two things: entertainment or education. So I want you guys to ask yourself next time, you’re going to post something ask yourself when you go on social media.

What are you there for there’s two reasons all you get to do. Is this ask yourself when you go on social media? What are you going for? Are you looking for promotion? Are you looking for a deal you’re on the toilet, you’re on the car you’re like in a socially awkward situation, you’re opening your phone? It’S like: how can I kill a minute there’s only two reasons you go to social media, everybody does this entertainment or education.

You want a quick laughs. You want a funny meme you want to, or you want to learn something you see something very valuable. It’Ll. That’S cool I’m going to try that that’s the only two reasons, but for some reason most people make content. Don’T think about that they’re doing promotion they’re doing what do they want to see? What do they like? What makes them look good, but no one else is going to see that so you’re putting out content that no one cares about, and that’s why the engagements not there does that make sense.

So what are some examples that I mean entertainment is make them laugh, make them cry make them feel something think of a TV show. Think of the Kardashians write Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Why do so many people used to read that show it’s just literally, my sister did this. My uncle did this I’m so mad at this person. He was with my brother, it’s, but it’s entertainment right. So you got to think.

How do you tell stories? How do you get people to laugh? How do you get people to cry? Don’T just, for example, if you’re going to do a delivery, don’t say here’s John! He bought a second car with me. So happen happens a customer thanks. So much John tell the story. Who’S. John, you know see in Vietnam: did he come here? Have a four-hour Roadtrip like what’s with his family, which, with his wife, is his father? The president, like give the story behind John and what got him here and where he came from the more drama.

The better right, like John just left, his sixth wife and he’s got some money in the bank and he’s trying to get a new Corvette. I’M going to get him on the road pick up a seven like make it fun, make it real. That’S how you going to approach it at education. The way you approach education is people only really care about three things. Don’T want to learn three things and it’s called kind of like hard knowledge, which is either how to make more money right, how to look better or feel better or how to have more sex swear to God.

That’S the three easiest things that everyone wants to buy. So when you’re teaching, think of that, do they want to know like if you’re going to teach a certain feature of a car or a benefit or something you want to show them? How to do think about? Is it going to save them money? Is it going to make them look better or does it let them have more sex? It’S only made a joke laughs about a minivan like how many girls going to fit in the back like you’re, I’m saying stupid joke, but don’t do that one, but I’m saying make get creative with it right get creative with it.

So what can they do if it’s, if it’s value, this is a feature that you that we can do here’s how much money it’s going to save you, I’m going to show you something that you’re going to say five grand next year. By doing these three things, here’s what they are right, so hard value, hard knowledge, that’s the truth for men or women, it’s money, health or sex right. And if you look at the three biggest industries, what are they? That’S the three so bring that into your social media, marketing all right.

How many of you are using Facebook or Instagram ads right now, yeah one two, three, four: five Instagram ads K: five, six good: let’s bring a ratio. How are you doing it? Are you boosting your posts? What are you doing so you’re boosting guessing game? Yep? Okay, what were you just boosting she broke daily? Okay, got it? No okay, anybody else! I miss okay, yeah, so here’s my theory, 90 % of people when they run ads they go.

I have an offer I want to put in front of a group of people. Yes, it’s targeted yes, they’re, 40 year old, males that, like cats here, show them this car right. That’S called a cold audience. If they don’t know you yet or like you or trust you they’re a cold audience, I no matter what industry never show offers to cold audiences. I only make offers to warm audiences. They need to know me. First, we use a very particular strategy when you’re in advertising.

I’Ve done in multiple industries from national brand car brands to local dealerships to Auto groups, and it works like this. Most people think of running an ad basically getting to offer the ad and targeting the audience they want to see that ad right. We don’t. We run first, what’s called awareness ads, so think of these as article ads. There are three to five minutes long. If it’s Instagram, it’s got to be 60 seconds for Facebook, three to five minutes.

It’S pure value, it’s either the entertainment or the education. We run those and optimize them for article views on Facebook. We get a view usually for one cent. One cent of view of a targeted local customer, then what we do is we get. Let’S say, a hundred thousand views in that content. It only cost us 900 bucks a thousand bucks. In most cases, then we retarget all those people with a low level offer.

So what I did for dealerships a lot was we’d give people gift cards to something like Starbucks to come in and just do a test drive, so they put their names or email their number and then the sales guy will call them say hey when you look At test drive, let’s go right and we bring them in. That would be our lead, offer it’s very low barrier, you’re, not asking for money I’ll give you money come in and do something for me and then the last step once we’ve done.

That is, then, we get hard offers. So this is the actual sale in the car. The deal we have running or the promotion coming up so at any one time you have article ads appear that are building rapport right. People are seeing your brand, your name they’re not being sold anything yet, but Facebook tracks that so on the next level, when I hit them with a lead. Gen ad, like I said, like the gift card, I can say only show this to people that have seen twenty five to fifty percent of the first article only show the people that actually suck through and know who I am and then I’m saying the last year.

Here’S an offer only show this to people who opted in for leads who gave us information already. So what you’re doing is you’re bringing your cost down reaching only a warm audience. You’Re getting 100 leaves that don’t respond and you’re spending half the cost. So anytime we run this. The average has been we reach twice as many people twice as many leads twice as many sales half the cost half. So that means, if you spent a thousand dollars, you got a thousand leads I’d, spend five hundred and get two thousand leaves it’s a big difference right and the quality is so much warmer because no one’s seeing your offers until they know you right until they’re, ready Until they decide to stick their whole article and you don’t do one in the other, they all happen at the same time.

So constant customers are discovering you reading the articles they go to the bathroom. Come back. Oh, here’s a lead gen, I offer they come to the dealership next day and go back home, there’s an offer on a deal and it just happens in a circle so easier said than done. We talked about in the cations playing a bit, but that’s a strategy. We use so take away from this, because that was a lot advertised to warm traffic.

I know that was very fast but advertised to warm traffic whenever possible. This is a method of warming up traffic. You could also retarget people who, for example, engage with you on Instagram who have lost your articles on Facebook, who have been to your website who have left comments. Who, like your page, whose friends liked your page anytime, you can try to build custom audiences of people who already know you who’s using social media, direct messages, Facebook Instagram all that you yeah yeah, yeah? Okay, how are you guys using it right now? Tell me real quick: what do you do with it? Okay, automation, Chapa? Is it working well yeah, okay, good? What about you, yep, yep, yep yep? So so, and these guys are both massive bucket producers and that’s exactly going to tell you the easiest strategy.

You can do is every single time. Someone likes your post comments, follows you, every single person don’t just ignore and go. I got 20 likes message, every single person personally and telev a thanks. So much for, like. I really appreciate the love hey where you from where you coming from a guy might whatever. If they follow you. Thank you so much for following me. I really appreciate it. I gave you a follow back what you up to when they respond.

To that, send an audio note. Send the article note get more personal. You don’t wan na scare them away at the first touch, but once they make the decision to engage and start the conversation, it opens the door to say: hey, I’m comfortable I’ll, read your article! All! Isn’T your audio no right, because so many people there’s this creepy. Ask people out there right, like if people get an unsuspected article they’re like I’m, not opening that right right, especially the girls man, to get her ass with this stuff, like it’s too early, my girlfriend all the time like unread message, like friend, requests from someone and Like Somalia and you open it’s a dick pic like and now Instagram warns you of that.

So don’t start with that start with text it’s safe, it brings the barrier down and then, when they decide they’re comfortable article and audio, because that’s where you going to build the bond right cool any questions on that sorry, one specific person for that article, yeah yeah, Wait, what do you mean like when you do your irrigation with ablution? Oh, that that’s where, like the app? Yes, I’m so there’s advertising before I’m talking about one offs, one offs a message right to that person yeah so like if you reach out and go well.

So it first returned with text and let’s say you say: hey we’re waiting from a brighten, my page or like. I really appreciate the love and then go hey, no problem, I’m from whatever whatever then send them back a article or an audio. Hey. That’S super cool! My mom’s from there I’m not going to say, make up report, but sometimes it helps if you have to ethically, but if you can, if you can build a bond or report us on in article, but I holy like this guy is my dude right and start The conversation and then see if you can take it from there to a phone call or an appointment, get it off the platform as quickly as possible and bring them in whatever it is like hey, I see five that car for the last seven years.

How much I sell you know them but come in. We just got this. I know you’re going to like you just drive it. Man like we’re talking with friends, come and check it out. I’M not selling, nothing just come in. Let’S hang out, let’s show you all right, bring them in so you’re trying to go from like engagement, to open a conversation to build rapport and get them off the platform as quickly as possible.

How To Build a Business Case for Social Customer Experience, Customer Service & Social Media.flv

Nathalie, Parra, Hoffa and I’ll, be your host in a series of articles on how to make a business case for social media and customer service, because I covered customer service, CRM and social media as an industry. Analyst people often asked me how these technologies can be used in business. I then ask them a question: are you interested in increasing sales or decreasing costs if the person I’m talking to is a customer service manager? I also asked whether the customer service department is getting the respect it deserves for the critical role it plays in the success of the business.

Of course, the answer to the first question is always: yes, everyone wants to make more money and spend less of it, but more often than not. The answer to the second question is no. These articles will help show the relationship between customer service, social media and the overall benefits to the company they’ll help. You prove that social media can affect the bottom line today, and the customer service can contribute to the social media strategy that sets up your company for success in the future.

Who knows it might even be your ticket to the executive suite many of the customer service executives. I’Ve gotten to know have told me that they dream of the day that their CEO will actually listen to customer calls. They know if their CEOs heard all the complaints they’d stop, telling them to find ways to do more with less. Of course, they also know that their CEOs will never listen to calls, but as customers start tweeting and blogging and posting comments, they can do the very next best thing they can monitor all the mentions of their company in social media and pull it all together into A presentation when they show the results to the CEO and the team pages and pages of complaint after complaint, the typical response is shock, and then the CEO usually says something along these lines.

We need to fix this and we need to fix it fast. I don’t want people to see this, it could really hurt our brand and our growth. Do you know what to do about this? Customer service executives can then assure the CEO. Not only do they know how to make the bad publicity go away. They can also prove that it will pay off when it comes to the bottom line. For example, they can show that an investment in social media will make customer service less expensive and customers more loyal.

I’Ve seen these situations lots of times it’s the moment when the light bulb goes on for the executive team and the CEO it’s when they get at a gut level. What can happen when customers no longer pick up the phone to dial the contact center to complain but they’re using social media to air their grievances? It’S when they realize that all of these complaints will last forever meaning they can’t be taken down with millions of people.

Tweeting and posting and blogging the result can be stunning. For example, 70 % of bloggers write about brands and products, and 51 % of online users read them, which affects sales. What’S more, the treatment of customers has become the topic of TV shows like Undercover Boss and outsource and books, like your calls, not that important to us and PR disasters like United breaks. Guitars article are on everyone’s mind, but all this attention to customer service you’d think it would be easy to convince a CEO that it’s important to meet customers where they are not so much to really get a CEOs attention.

You need to show how social media will affect the traditional metrics. The contact centers live and die by. So how can you do that? First you’ll need to show what people are saying about your company. Second, you must prove that social media can affect the metrics. That result in higher savings and higher customer satisfaction to tackle the first task gather some examples. Depending on your industry, people will use a different social media mix most we use Twitter and Facebook, but their use of blogs forums, Flickr YouTube and other media will vary.

There are many social media monitoring tools that you can buy, but if you want to get started, you can use some of the following tools for free, for instance, go to search twitter.Com to search for tweets to search for blogs. You can go to technorati, calm and for forums. You can try board tracker calm. You can also get Google Alerts at google.Com backslash alerts or use a search engine to find negative posts by putting in your name, followed by fail for the second test.

You’Ll want to prove the ROI of social media programs that you’re proposing once you’ve shown how social media can affect the bottom line. You can also make the case for how it sets your company up for success to find out how to do both tune in to the next articles.

Thank you for visiting my post about the video I found on Youtube. I hope it gives you a little insight into customers and how you should treat your customers. Remember, I appreciate you and what you have to offer. Check out what Allshouse Designs thinks about customer service.

How To Use Twitter To Grow Your Business

So the first thing to talk about is and what your your Twitter or tweeting strategy is going to be at the moment, you’re limited to 160 characters, there’s talk that they might be changing, delimiting that I don’t know how what impact that might have on what I’m About to say, but nevertheless, at the moment is 160 characters and within that 160 characters, you’ve got to write some very interesting, engaging content.

That’S on a variety of different subject matters. So what I tend to say is look at look at your overall marketing strategy and when you go out and talk to people, what are they interested in hearing? Typically, these things will be so you’ll obviously want to talk about your business. You know it’s the about me page with your website: you’ll, be willing to talk about your own products and services, the benefits and features of those, but it clear you should also be talking about an industry.

Related news, maybe put some some tips, like top tips. How-To guides up there and some statistics that people are going to find engaging so the difference between Twitter and Facebook and various others. So actually Facebook has hashtags and Twitter started the trend by using hashtags and other other social media. Blogs have now adopts them at Google. Google+ no hashtags as well, so all of the major ones are using them, and but hashtags are a way of grouping.

Tweets is kind of like giving it and putting it into a categorized box. If you like key thing about the Twitter strategy is to post regularly because Twitter works on the timeline. So when you first tweet, it appears at the top of the timeline and grudges. Other people tweet it on it’ll, get pushed down and push down and push down and disappear of the bottom. So if you start using like trending hashtags that are really popular loads of people post them out, it’s not going to go like that.

It’S going to go straight off the bottom, so what you need to be doing is posting regularly so that your posts end up being. You know at the top of and Twitter now, if you post too often and it’s it’s going to get boring for the people who are following you so and have a plan to maybe post. I don’t know three four five times a day, probably any more than that, and you are going to start to bore people a little bit and equally those four five posts.

You want to post them all at nine o’clock and you want to spread them out over the course of the day, and that sounds like a bit of numerous tasks and there are ways to automate that process. So if you look at social media automation, tools, ones, my favorite ones, and things like eat – sweets, buffer, sprout social me takers, my all-time favorite one, because you can build a library and it just Chuck stuff out forever and beyond.

Even if I get hit by a bus which is great what not, if I get hit by a bus – that’s not so great, but the fact that it publishes stuff for me if I get hit by bus, that’s great, and so my second tip is based on Who you should be following now, there’s so much noise out there at the moment it’s a common mistake is and the people new to Twitter just to go out there and follow loads of irrelevant people.

So I tend to now follow people who are within my industry. Interesting people are going to be publishing interesting content. I would actually be interested in reading notice. The word is interesting, so be choosy about who you’re, following what you don’t want. Is your timeline just to be filled with noise and so there’ll be loads of people who follow you who’ll be selling eat like you know, get five thousand Twitter followers they’ll just be spamming, but that guy, who I talked about, who was sending out five messages? One go at nine o’clock.

Probably don’t want to bother following him because he’s just going to bore you to death, perhaps so be really picky about who you follow to make sure you’re getting the right information back out of it. This has a knock-on effect automatically and you’ll start to attract the right sort of followers as well and they’ll be interested in what you’ve got to say to a two-fold kind of benefits. This try and follow people within your market sector as best you can because and again following loads of irrelevant people.

Kind of is not really going to add anything to your your Twitter experience and before you follow the user go and have a look at their bio. It’S easy just to go like it’s later on pull of the book and go and have a look at the biography and and see what sorts of things they tweet about, because it will give you a good idea about the sort of person that you’re about to Potentially, follow with twitter is really important and because it’s it’s, it’s like a little microcosm of information and making sure that your brand and identity is really clear on that page.

And you basically have like two or three opportunities to get your brand and put out onto your Twitter profile. So you got the main banner image which appears across the top. You’Ve got your little avatar pic, which appears within the banner you’ll. Have your company name or your personal name, and then your website address and maybe short biographies, there’s five key bits where you’ve got to get that’s your own brand identity across and make it look really cool so say, focus on those well say one thing which I Do is I and create, and I created a banner image, which I felt reflect the brand very well and use it across.

All of my social media accounts say that to maintain some consistency, something looks at my Twitter account. My Facebook account same goes for the the avatar, so this could either be your company logo or it could be your personal, headshot or game make sure it’s it’s consistent across all your social media platforms. The fourth question I very often get asked is about whether somebody who works within a business or organization sets up an account specifically for their business or for them for their personal profile.

So I think what you’ve got to ask yourself is: what’s my mic, my core business strategy here? Am I promoting me or my business or do people come to my business because they threw me or what what’s the link there and how did you go about promoting your business and if it’s primarily, if you’re kind of faceless within your organization, then really? Why do you need your own personal Twitter account? Why not make it about your business? But equally, if, if you have a number of stars within your business, get them to set up their own personal, you can have you have your own business account, but then you can take each can have their own and personal account, building their own profiles and raising The profile of your business, so the main benefits of using Twitter, it’s obviously got SEO benefits because you can drop links and nail it back to your own website, and things like that.

You can be found quite easily. Twitter twitter gets put in boosted into Google’s PageRank in one of its specific sections of its organic search, engine and listings, and so it means that you can appear in in Google’s search engine, organic search engine rankings and also it’s an opportunity to network quickly with other Businesses and the downsides to Twitter. I find that there’s only so much you can get into those hundred and forty characters and or 160 characters initially and embarrassed and the potential, as with all social media platforms and for employees to misuse it.

So I don’t know if they see something about a celebrity and they put a really derogatory comment up there or they’re racist that they put something nasty about another employee up there. This is all going to reflect badly on your business, so you’re going to be monitoring. If your employees are going to have their own Facebook and Twitter accounts, then you’re going to be monitoring what sort of content they’re putting up there and Twitter is also looking to heavily monetize areas of its service, and this can have a negative effect on it, and It also there’s a lot of trolling which goes on in amongst and Twitter, so trolling is people just being really negative about you, you’ll cut off your business and the sorts of things you’re commenting on and it can make you feel very bad, but it get it Covered and if somebody’s putting and I don’t know what appears to be a testimonial up there and negative testimonial up there – they may not actually be a customer.

That’S considered that. Could we have a detrimental impact on your business. So, just to summarise those key points create a strategy and for a Twitter strategy for your business and think about who you’re going to follow and who you want to follow. You ensure your brand of identity is really clear and obvious on your on your Twitter page and decide whether it’s going to be a business or a personal Twitter account.

And then, obviously I talked about the the benefits and the drawbacks to having Twitter weigh those up and how much you’re, positive and have-nots can have any business. So thanks for reading those are my comments on using Twitter for business. If you want to know more – and then please subscribe to my my youtube blog and if you’ve got any questions about this particular article, then please do leave them in the comments box below

Testimonials BizHack Alumni – Michelle Reitkopf – Digital Marketing Training Academy

Thank you. You are the bag, lady. Yes, what is the bag? Lady? The bag? Lady? Is a family owned and run curated kind of art collection that people can actually wear and it’s all new products and it ranges from bags to accessories and then all the way now we started with clothing and leggings and blankets and home goods. What is the most expensive bag you’ve ever sold? Oh, I think it was a $ 5,000 bag and one went to Peru, we’re so lucky.

We have a lot of international customers that seek us out and find us from the power of the Internet, and so that’s been one of our top-selling bags and you brought a couple bags with us to show us what you have sure Mary Francis is a line That we’ve been working with for 20-plus years, hand beaded made in the Philippines and every season and collection, it’s a new collection and it’s limited so she’s, wonderful, she’s based in California – and this is, we learned both of our sign.

Yes, it’s the horoscope collection and we did very well with us actually and that’s a new body shape and style, and people love the horoscope stuff, great yeah. That’S also a Mary Francis and it’s all hand beaded in the work is fantastic, she’s, very artsy she’s. Very, the names of the items are super cool and we love working with them have limited pieces of Gucci and we love the Gucci stuff, especially the florals.

We love what’s happening with the brand now that it’s just doing so well and he’s taking it to this eco. He took far out of the line. Alessandra Michel he’s the new director and he’s just with the rockstars and he’s doing great and transforming the company, and I really honor that there’s a lot of beautiful stuff here, coach and michael kors, our you know our everyday line and we do excellent with coach and Michael kors, those are our mainstay plain leather goods and beautiful stuff, and then johnny was they just came out with this new perfume and this oil, and we are doing well with that whole line great, I feel like we’re on the Home Shopping Network.

This is awesome. You know this is definitely not my world. This is your world. In fact, I learned that since 1976, your parents started a business with high-end shoes. Tell us a little bit about how about your parents business and how you kind of inherited the kind of luxury woman’s market. Well, they came to the states and they from Russia, and then they met in Israel. They both did the army and then they were in Israel and married and then they moved to the States.

My parents wanted the American Dream and they took over this man’s shop and started with shoes and all sorts of designer women’s comfort shoes from Italy from the United States, and then I was born a year or so later, and you know it’s just it’s interesting. My my parents, Mike on my mother’s side, are immigrants from Europe as well and to Philadelphia, and they actually ran a shoe store as well, but it was a low hand, okay store in kind of a rough neighborhood in Philadelphia, so kind of same business.

Other end of the spectrum, amazing: what was the name of the store when it started in 76? It started with shoe club and it was in Aventura Florida, yes, which is kind of just outside of Miami, and then it moved on and they named it Michels. After me yeah, so they called my dad Michele for a while, and so he would respond to it because he was the face of the business and everything and he’s so helpful and love talking to people and the stories.

We’D have like multi-generations come in to chop and it was fantastic, so many years and we’ve developed several stores and relationships with the local community and everyone knew if they needed something special for an event or for every day where to come to the store. And you worked at the stores. Yes talk a little bit about some of the things you did around the store. I did everything from merchandising to purchasing doing the buying behind the counter.

We did it old-school, so we were right down on the invoice from closing the shop and to opening it so the whole all of the logistics and then in the mid nineties. You left you have to South Florida. You left the shop, yes and, and you probably thought for good – you left the business I thought so I thought I was going to move on to something else and bigger and different, and and where do you go and how did you find your way back? Well, I went to school in University of Virginia and I love Charlotte’s though I love the mountains and the whole culture was a completely different one that I really ingratiate it into, and then I decided to come back after doing a little bit of time in Florence.

So I was in the mecca of art and fashion for a bit as well: we’ve always had Paris and Israel and Italy in our blood and this European boutique II feel so I bring it back to Florida. I went and moved to the Grove and started working on odd jobs here – Art Director, Marketing Manager and those sort of things, and then I kept the thread of the store. I will always woodwork like one or two days a week, and I saw this opportunity online.

That was a new versioning place for online goods and I started on eBay where I started telling $ 650 item products. At the time when people were selling vintage flea market finds so I started this whole new new items being sold online and I would go to the store to work and then I just ship out what I sold and things were moving online, that wouldn’t move in The store that people would just look at so it was a really different dynamic and I saw this opportunity so you specifically were selling handbags online on eBay.

Yes in the early 2000. Yes can you can you go back to like? How did you learn about eBay and how did you have the the insight / inspiration to sell? You know: multi-hundred dollar thousand dollar, handbags that were new yeah and what was essentially an auction site for flea market and used goods. I just start tried it out, and I do you remember that moment when you’re like okay, tell me about that, is the brand called Isabella Fiore and they did like really beautiful, hand-painted stuff somewhere from Italy somewhere from elsewhere, and they were just sitting and nothing was Moving in the store – and I thought let me check online – see see if so, anyone else in the world has been s or selling it, and I would seize things on eBay and at that time eBay was pretty big for the flea market world and I thought Why not? There is a new with tag option.

Why not try it so I put put a few on and I take like homemade pictures and they started to sell and just like that. It just was a quick happening and did you with eBay, were they auctioned or with a minimum bid yeah we did that and did you were you able to sell them at a higher price than the retail price in your store? No, to be honest, no nowadays I can do that, but those days now I would get MSRP, though, which was great, so it was a way to kind of move merchandise that you just can’t move any other.

Yes, how did it evolve from there from there? I wanted out of the shoes I wanted nothing to do with shoes, because she’s are very difficult. Shoes are tough. How did mom and dad feel about you getting out of their business? Oh, they liked the fact that and they liked it, because my mom wasn’t loving the going to the store every day and dealing with the public, so we iced all bags as an easy thing to ship.

There’S no real size to it. You can gift it easily. So I like the idea of it that it was simple yeah there’s, also not the challenge of whether they fit correct the fit is off and Zappos kind of took over at that time, and I couldn’t compete with as oppas scenario did okay. So then what happened at some point? The retail store, your parents closed the store. We closed the store, yes, the store closed because the rent went up triple yeah and they retired no they’re, still they’re still working a little bit with ya lady, the things flipped yeah.

Now, they’re working for you and well with with me, writing receipts and collecting. You know something like that and soon talk about what happened from that those first early days mm. You know 19 like what what happened over that you know 15 year period, how did the business grow, sir evolve and mature okay um? Over the years, we’ve tried out different products, different price points, different marketplaces and kind of had to go along with the times and where the technologies have been moving from desktop to mobile, to free returns, return shippings, all things have the picture.

Quality has to be really amazing, especially if you’re selling a $ 5,000 item. So we started hiring photographers going to different, shows and vegas atlanta different places to to get new brands. That would be ready for online and at this time a lot of the malls and brands were opening their own storefronts kind of competing with us. That makes sense, and that made a lot of stores close so mom and pops.

It became rare to have like a native family-run business and let alone being online. The dynamic is a little different because you’re not touching the product you’re shipping instead, so it becomes like almost like a catalog business, but a lot of the brand’s want you to maintain store Franz. They want you to go to trade, shows and still be in person. So over the years we found this different, different marketplaces, repeat: customers, brands that resonated and we’ve evolved to today, where we’re we have our own website and we’re on many marketplaces which marketplaces we’re on Amazon, which is one of our better ones that we do most of Our business and it’s really strict stringent policies to maintain turnaround with email messaging to products being, as is, and exactly what you’re selling and we’re happy to do.

So because, where you are very honorable in what we do and sell – and we want all the customers to know and have that exact thing that they’re ordering, so we’re really proud of that, when did you first get onto Amazon Amazon? We started about five six years ago and it transformed our business yeah yeah we’re doing many more sales, our Christmas December time as fantastic, and it beats going to a store yeah, I’m sitting all day waiting for someone to walk in because we reach the whole world.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ci72MW5U0gg

What differentiates you as a vendor online? What what makes you special? Yes couple things the way we curate our stuff, it’s like a gallery of items and we have a lot of limited edition pieces and we have new stuff. So we not only have this amazing piece still that might be from the special season from last season and no one has it anymore and that someone’s looking for it. But it’s new and it’s in the original packaging and it comes with all its wealth bill bells and whistles anything that it should come with.

So it’s a way that people can trust our goods with tags and dust bags and and we ship it beautifully as well, and and how does that translate online? You know like, like you know, when you’re dealing with such demanding customers, people who are used to going to the Four Seasons who are used to kind of having their every whim met. Yes, how does it like translate to e-commerce kind of impersonal? You know it could be, it could be.

I like that. I have contact and communication with these buyers and discussed they killed, call me or whoever and have someone actually pick up the phone they’re so shocked. It’S amazing when they call – and I actually pick up and explain, answer all their questions. They love it. So, there’s that level of intimacy and all and communication, which is key and it’s different than calling a department store and getting the runaround or being put on hold for 20 minutes or whatever yeah.

I that’s my favorite. The discerning client is a favorite of mine and developing that relationship and continuing it so that I know next season or the next collection that comes in that I can reach out to that person and they’ll be excited to hear from me. Is there a bit of that, like you might call or text or whatsapp sure, absolutely personalized, yeah cuz? That makes that differentiates me from I’m shopping somewhere else, yeah yeah.

That brings us to me. Yes, what in the world sounds like you’re, a very successful businesswoman? Well, thank you. You’Ve been able to kind of take a family business and bring it into the 21st century. What can i, what can busy do for you? Well, I had so many good recommendations and referrals to come to you and since the class I’ve met even more people that have taken your class and known you, and I find your class to be the next step for us in expanding the social media presence.

Utilizing Facebook, as the main cog in the wheel and seeing how that will translate onto because online sales is what we do I’d like that and I think you’re what you do is perfect for our business in translating a high-end fashion, easy capturable social presence into sales Were you feeling a little captive to Amazon? Perhaps yes, talk about that like what they’re sort of what give, I guess, maybe what giveth can be taken away? Is that sort of how it felt it just feels like? I don’t want to be tied down and I would like the potential to grow a similar business on my own.

That has that I’m in control of right and explain what that means. For someone who isn’t in the e-commerce business. What does it mean to be in control of Amazon? Requires you to use UPC codes to use certain product details, to update your the catalog to use certain images and it’s a very stringent business seller performance that they expect from you, which is fine and it keeps everyone up to par.

But certain things that I’d like to sell may not have a UPC code, but I love the designer from Columbia and I would love to use her products, but she doesn’t have that code so that limits what I can sell to the world. So I see working with you as a potential of expanding the online business, the bag, lady shop site and being able to sell other products that I adore and that I have limits with on Amazon yeah.

That’S definitely one really interesting limitation. I mean another one with Amazon is when folks go to an amazon landing page with your product. Yeah amazon owns that traffic cause the data about that traffic. They don’t share that data. They don’t let you track that customer. You can’t retarget that customer you’re really limited and absolutely with that yeah. So if someone visits that landing page with your product and doesn’t buy, you have no way of advertising to them again.

Yes, that’s a big one if they were to go and visit that same product on your homepage on your website. You could absolutely and so driving traffic from ads on facebook to your home page versus an Amazon landing page allows you for share our sales, 100 % and so part of what I think. The opportunity that you see is to kind of own your destiny. A little bit more yes and I adore that relationship. I want to be in touch with these customers, they’re, essentially mine, and I would like to have that discussion with them and send them newsletters and all the latest yeah.

It would be great – and I mean you know somebody who’s looking at a one or two or three thousand dollar bag isn’t necessarily going to buy on the first visit right. You know so so you can expect them to kind of shop around a little bit, and so it’s particularly important with that kind of purchase which isn’t going to be an impulse, buy that you’re able to have build up a relationship, and it’s very very hard to Do that on Amazon, absolutely Lilley captive to their world the other thing about Amazon that we talked a little bit about when we were first kind of getting to know each other is what I sort of mentioned to you.

Is that what Amazon giveth Amazon can taketh away? Yes, which is to say that Amazon will drive traffic to your product pages through their search? Yes, but they control everything. How much traffic you get, of course, and if they decide another vendor is who they want to get traffic to or that they’re going to start selling, which they do they compete with your own statistics. You know those bags themselves or a knockoff version, mm-hm or they’re going to make you start to pay for what you’re getting now for free.

All of those become inhibitors to your growth start and risks for your business yeah. So there’s just a lot of risk. That’S kind of built in to relying on any one digital blog for your company’s future, absolutely put all your eggs in one basket and it’s not to say that there aren’t risks associated with Facebook. It’S just that you’re diversifying the risk by. If you have a good blog going with Facebook and it’s generating you traffic there and you have Amazon and then you have eBay, and maybe you have some other blogs going as well and then you have direct traffic and you have the direct relationship yeah.

Then you have a diversified business that could survive if Amazon changes its policies or start sending you less traffic and so forth, and then you also as you explore these new blogs can grow. Yes, what have you learned so far that you think is going to make a difference for your business, because this is so retail focused? I adore the look-alike audience aspect of the Facebook campaign. What’S it look like audience good question, you utilize an existing targeted audience that you have data from and you filter it through and it they create a symbiotic audience.

That means I’m a similar to audience. Okay and I’m really a like the idea that I’m going to learn who my audience is, his Facebook is so massive and it goes from grandmother’s to tweens and all in between, and I’m really curious to see that, because that’s really that will tell me the next Phase of this adventure in business is who, targeting for I’ll, go and buy leggings for that tween. If that’s my new customer that I know is going to be purchasing for me.

So it’s a great tool. I’M really excited to learn that and get the data from the Facebook. You know that Facebook, you know, does someone who likes coach also, like Gucci, does it work that way or is someone who likes Gucci, also like whatever this is Mary friends Mary Francis? Are there like partisans, like somebody who likes this designer, doesn’t like that kind of group? Yes, it groups for sure, but it’s fashion.

So it’s multi-level and there’s something that you’ll do during the day that maybe on a weekend or an event that you’ll need something else or – and you have ideas about those groupings right just from years of experience, absolutely it’s a different population. Have you gone into audience, insights and tested those assumptions? I started a little bit, but I’m really excited to delve in there and it would be really fun yeah to do that yeah.

We could even do it together, but what we could do is Facebook. Has this amazing tool, it’s called audience insights and basically leverages the data from two billion people and you can put in their interests like Gucci. Yes and then you can see according to Facebook’s data people who, like Gucci, also tend to like X yeah, and we can actually test some of your knowledge. So you know what we might have to do when I have to do a little quiz, okay and see if we could like test you and see.

If, ladies I’m excited, I can pass the Facebook test uh-huh all right. So, let’s project forward. Okay, it’s graduation! Yes, you’re at the end of this first stage of your journey is hack. The end min is 12 12 week journey with us together. What do you imagine you’ll say to your fellow graduates as you’re, giving your graduation speech? Well, that’s a good projection. I hope everyone’s happy and healthy and growing in their business at that time and that we’ve made good relationships.

That will because to me that’s one of the most important things as the relationships with people. I love creating new ones and helping people need others and to bring traffic to the website. That’S the main goal and to translate that into sales. That would be the greatest right talk a little bit about some of the people. You’Ve met some of the peers, the the other business owners that you’ve met. Yes, I’ve met and know Julia who’s, a realtor.

I love the class also because it’s so varied with so many different types of people and types of industries and levels. So that’s been great. Anthony is selling products on Amazon as well, and he’s he’s was interesting to get to know. Carmen Tati is a great role model, there’s a lot of great people in the class, so how you know it’s possible that Amazon could go away tomorrow? You know how is busy at preparing you for that with digital marketing and media, there’s that blog through Facebook to get quality audience the same.

That Amazon captures the two billion that are on Facebook or would be captured with digital marketing, and I want to learn how to do that with your class properly and funnel that information and make it into great sales yeah. And I guess another way to talk about. It’S like right now. What percentage of your sales are coming through Amazon versus, say your website or eBay, a majority I’d say: 60 percent is an Amazon sale and if you could, if, in a in an ideal world, what percentage would be, what would your ideal percentage be website versus Amazon? 90 % website would be ideal, so right now, you’re at is it 40 % on your website or less less? What is it on your website minimal? Got it so right now: you’re like below 5 % on your website and 60 % on Amazon yeah, and your goal is to get to 90 % on your web absolutely and 10 % everywhere else.

Yes, so what is your plan to get from under 5 % to 90 %, starting with your cloths, and to see what that will bring and tapping into the market that Facebook has to offer and how will Facebook help you get there? How will Facebook help you get more sales directly on your website? I really think it’s a powerful tool because you can see the behaviors the interest capture their eyes in a way that in article and really targeted ways right and then drive them to your drive to the website and collect their contact information.

So you can stay in touch absolutely so I guess the the way that the path there is to use or leverage the audience on Facebook, sir, to make them aware of you, mm-hmm collect their contact, information yeah and then begin a direct selling relationship kind of the The idea – and I guess that’s what and that’s what biz hack is teaching you how to do absolutely great yeah I’ll get you there. I hope. So, although ninety percent – I don’t know well, let’s increase it yeah well, you know, what’s going to happen, is we’ll keep your ebay portion the same okay and we’ll make the other portions so large yeah.

Then it will just dwarf the existing. So your business will become massive. That would be fantastic. Then it will become like a hundred million dollar business. Can you imagine by the way, do you know of anyone else who’s doing what you’re doing? That’S the thing I am not in the you’re one of the first people in my new networking journey trying to meet like-minded entrepreneurs that are doing what I’m doing.

I know a few, but they also sell this bad back, and so I need to know, of course, many in the business, but not quite that are on Amazon, some sell, diaper mats that are organic things like that very specified. Not I don’t know anyone that has like a collection, so you don’t know another bag. Lady person, I know mmm, no, I don’t it’s pretty wild. Actually it is so what you’re doing seems like. Why aren’t there like a million bag? Ladies, I think there are, and they might not have the same collection or breath of online presence, or there may be relationships that you’ve developed that are hard to manage relationships, because these designers won’t necessarily make their collections available to those other folks.

It’S just varied. Some. Don’T have the storefront, some don’t have the connection, there’s different levels. Yeah, you know you’ve heard of drop shipping right. I love drop shipping and and you’re a but you’re, but you also have a large inventory, correct, yeah. How large is like in terms of dollars? How I couldn’t even but a lot Millions there’s dollars in there.

7 Mistakes You Make On Social Media | Why You Are Getting Low Likes

The fact that, or the concept that you have the potential to reach millions of people across the whole globe to me is it’s astounding, but it’s also a bad thing if you’re doing it bad, so I actually run a lot of social. I run a tumblr, a Pinterest or Twitter, an instagram Facebook YouTube, so I run almost every social media account that there is out there, I’m always looking at metrics how to optimize how to make it better.

So in this article I wanted to show you seven mistakes that you’re probably making on social media. That probably could be hurting your likes, your engagement and just how people perceive you. The first mistake that many people make on social media is posting too many selfies other than seeming extremely arrogant and self indulging. You also seem, like you, lack creativity. If your whole feed is just your face, you really need to move past it and actually share some parts of your life on social media.

That’S probably why people are actually following you and not just self-portraits of yourself number two posting shirtless bathroom selfies. Now, yes, most guys that are even remotely physically fit, are probably guilty of this sometime in their life. But it’s old and it’s even worse when you see guys posting a bathroom selfie and they post it with a comment like some sort of cheesy tumblr success quo.

Now don’t get me wrong, you should be extremely proud of your progress in the gym and what you have accomplished, but instead of posting just to post, post actual value actual content, for example, say you broke your new PR squat post, a picture of you squatting that And your capture can be just broke, my old PR squad that has a lot more value than a shirtless picture of yourself in a bathroom, alright guys.

So before I keep going with these, I do want to let you guys know about a huge seller that v reades is having their changing it. Up. Not only are they’re selling reades they’re also dropping sunglasses today for Black Friday, so for today for Black Friday they’re opening the store I’m going to have it linked below, but even more importantly, they got you guys, a huge discount code, 20 %, I’m going to have The code below I have never herd of them ever give 20 % discount before and they’re only having it today for Black Friday.

So I’m going to have all that information below and like I said they have sunglasses, backpacks and reades, and if you’ve been thinking about getting the fifth read lately, I think today’s the time to buy it, because this code is only lasting for today, which is Black Friday and you’ll be able to get it 20 %, and it also makes a great Christmas gift for both her and him. The third mistake that a lot of men make is posting their drunken escapades.

I think you should make it a personal rule that you shouldn’t use your phone while you’re drinking you’ll just save yourself from a lot of trouble. But if you must use it, try to avoid talking about or posting about how you got super plastered last night on every other social media post. Not only does it get old, you got to keep in mind that your future employers are now starting to look at your social media accounts to see who you really are so this one.

This was if you’re, in a relationship if you’re in a relationship don’t go liking. Other girls pictures save yourself the unnecessary fight and don’t be dumb enough to go liking. Other girls post, especially if they’re in a bikini, while you can look, don’t like them. The next one is posting when no one’s around or no one’s online. Again, I run a pretty large Instagram account and other social media handles so, like I said, I’m always looking into metrics and how to optimize for higher engagement, higher views higher your comments just more likes in general, so I’ve pretty much narrowed down.

What timeframes get me that higher engagement on a personal level if you’re looking for more likes and more comments, which almost every person that posts on social media is don’t go and post that one in the morning, when most of your friends are probably going to be Asleep, so look for those time frames throughout the day notice that your metrics and, like I said, don’t post an odd time frames because it’ll significantly decrease your engagement.

The sixth mistake is picking a fight on social media. This is a mistake here, because you see here here, there’s really no winners. While it is super entertaining sitting back and reading a social media fight go on the key to keeping your audience and your dignity is to never engage in one. Your self and finding the seven social media mistake that really hurts engagement is inconsistent posting when you start having people follow you, whether it be friends or you’re, just growing a larger audience.

People are following you because they expect something from you. They expect to be entertained or informed or whatever it may be. The worst thing you can do is to stop posting for weeks and then come back. It’Ll definitely hurt your engagement. People tend to forget about you and you become less relevant. So staying on top of people’s feeds is one of the best ways to keep your engagement and grow it at a healthy rate.

That’S it for this week’s article guys. I hope you enjoyed it. Those are some of the mistakes that I’ve actually done a lot of in the past, both on a personal level and on a business level, because I do run two types of accounts, so hopefully you can avoid some of these mistakes. Let me know if I miss anything down below, I would love to hear some of the mistakes that you guys think also don’t forget to subscribe to our Channel and to our second blog by using these buttons right here.

Time Saving Social Media Tips for Your Business

So hey I’m Sam, and this is Emma. So I’m constantly knowing social media’s important and you need to be on it. Or your thought is I have to like. I have to comment. I have to constantly post Actually Emma. I know you’re the social media Queen here. So what is some of your Tips on saving time on social media, First and foremost start a social media content calendar.

This is a great way to help you plan ahead, also to help you get Creative with your posts, because it is all about quality, not quantity, So to improve the quality. If it you want to plan ahead, To get those holidays in there with some cool posts, Also think about it. This way you got Instagram Facebook Twitter. How often do you post I get that asked all the time And the worst thing you want to happen.

Is you wake up it’s Thursday and you Haven’T posted anything since last Thursday, So with Instagram, post At least once a week, But I recommend a couple times a week – Also take advantage of those Instagram stories’cause, that’s really to me easier to fit in because it’s more Raw unpolished content, So it’s a really great Way to some like behind the scenes, I know we’ve done it here on set And then for Facebook again post a couple of times a week And think about what photos, you can add, Show photos of your team Showcase.

Your expertise share something that’s entertaining and of value, Educate me and then Twitter. Now Twitter. You can get A little more frequent to stay on top of that newsfeed, So you can be posting every day Once a day, maybe twice a day and keep it short and sweet. Like me, And informative, I wasn’t going to say it And you might be thinking I’M a seasonal business, so I’m going to like take some time off with that social media calendar Eh wrong, Let’s say: you’re a hotel.

It’S the off season show me a picture of the beach Wish. You were here, Happy get excited about it. Take this and put it top of mind for your customers, your guests, so they don’t forget about you throughout the year Wow Emma! That’S all great and it’s Valuable information, However, I’m only one person And it feels like it’s a lot to do. Do you have any kind of Tips on how to kind of go about all that.

Yeah totally So I will bring up, Go Daddy, Social. We are a do it for you service, we’re on that team And we’ll take this Completely off your plate, After all, it’s a full time job So we’ll give you the Writers to handle all this, If you want to handle this on your own Rad, there’s hootsuite TweetDeck, those are scheduling apps, So that can help you to plan ahead and get that content. You know think about it ahead of time, Ready and it’ll post on your behalf.

In the future, I also recommend to Keep in mind, especially on social media, that you don’t always have to create original content, Which does take more time. You can also share content from relevant folks in your industry. So let’s say you have a restaurant and you read this great tweet from Bon Appetit. Oh, my gosh click retweet. There’S your content for the day and it’s super relevant to your audience.

Maybe some cool recipes and cooking tips, Or maybe you are a landscape artist and you read something about on homes and gardens or better homes, And you get excited about it. You’Re like this is something My audience will love Again: repost retweet And don’t forget user generated content. Your customers are already big fans of what you do. They might be taking photos of your food, your products capturing their experience.

With your services Pay attention to that when you’re mentioned and repurpose that Share it, retweet and That’S going to save you time, Just like the scheduling apps that I mentioned prior So I’m sensing a theme here that I don’t have to come up everything myself Exactly and that’s. What’S so cool about these Social media blogs They are very social and that, yes, it’s not always about You and it shouldn’t be Just dishing out your content, your expertise, sell, sell, sell.

You want to drive some Conversation and engagement with the help of your friends on social, Like other businesses in your industry, So I know one of my bad habits in the past is really just always being on social media. So do you have any kind? Of tips to kind of help with that Yes, you can definitely just set aside some time a window where you take that time to really focus on your social media content And also go and check out what other people are posting.

So you can get new followers. You can get eyes on your brand by just following, like minded people, And in addition to that, I’m a big fan of setting alerts and reminders. Oh yeah, I love to do whatever I can to declutter up here and take off my brain One less thing to think about. I am all for it. I live by my calendar, so I get that Yeah same You should see it mine’s color coded It’s ridiculous.

Oh mine’s bland So have an alert, Have a reminder and then, when that alert goes off this is your time to hone in and see you know who’s commenting on your post. Did you get any reviews And if you did take the Time to respond to those Read them and respond: In a personal manner, And any mentions that you have, Which I just talked about, User generated content: this is another great time to Check in setting that alert, like hey Sam, remember, see if Your customers are posting about you and, if so, acknowledge that, because this is clearly a Testimonial to your business, if they’re out there mentioning you Or taking photos of your services, your products Take advantage of it set an alert: Your users, your clients, your customers, they’re the best marketers for your business.

Another thing that I recommend for a good time saver is write out the copy before you post, So your caption. I see this all the time. With my influencer friends, They got that great shot, they’re ready to post that awesome photo on Instagram and then they’re Just hanging out stumped for words like Em Em Em. What do I say? I’M, like I don’t know, you’re putting me on the spot. So it’s something to Think and put time aside to put these captions, Maybe in a word doc, I often use my iPhone notes.

I see my influencer friends do the same So that way, they’re not rushed to come up with a witty creative caption. They have like this caption bank. If you will So you’re saying pretty much, you don’t have to do. Everything in the moment, You know you can plan it out Yeah and that actually brings up a good point. We’Re talking a lot about captions and having a caption bank if you will, But also have a photo Bank, so if you come across some compelling photos that you think you might use one day to represent your brand or Your team or your business store those in a place where You can easily access them And just put them out there.

It’S going to save you so much time versus that day, you’re coming in to the kitchen, You haven’t posted on Instagram in a week and you’re like already rushing to get the orders out, Be like oh team, get Together, we’re going to do a behind the scenes photo, It’s like no. This is our busiest time of the day. People need to be served. Customer service is still important, So get a photo bank it’ll save you time in the end, All right, that’s a wrap comment below with your Favorite time-saving tip And make sure that you, like this article, subscribe to our blog and ring that bell to make sure you’re notified when our brand new content comes out.

This is The Journey

Graphic Design Tips for Digital Marketing and Social Media – the #weareslam show ep 3

Welcome to the we are slam, show a show where we share marketing trends, best practices and ideas to help your business grow, and today I have with me Whitney Brockman. She is our art director here at slam agency and today we’re going to share some tips and some best practices on how to design for digital. Yes, I’m very excited stuff, yeah yeah.

So this is the type of stuff that Whitney does day in and day out, for slam and for our clients, and so I’m really excited, because this is a this is going to be some good information that you can use immediately. You can take back to your teams to your agencies and you can you can get some good work done so Whitney welcome to the show Thanks. So today we’re talking about best practices for designing and digital, and more than anything, we have to realize that print and digital are two completely different things.

Print in many cases is still relevant, but most of the design work is going digital at this point. So let’s talk about like, what’s the one, the big thing that people should keep in mind so traditionally the clients that I’m working with have been more towards the print side of design, and it’s been interesting to have them translate what they’ve been doing in print to Digital because it is dramatically different, there are limitations.

There are, you know, restraints that you can’t necessarily it doesn’t translate in digital world and you really have to grab the attention of the viewer and when I am given tasks and projects to work on, I really have to think about the big picture so like what It what’s the goal who’s going to see this who’s this for and if it’s a campaign, when is it going to end, so I can figure out the best way to get the most attention and engagement right off the bat and that that big picture is important Because, with print you know like a magazine ad or something like that, you’re designing it, it’s going through several different stages of iterations of you know.

Process might take a few weeks or a month to design going back and forth with the client and then at some point in the future. Like you see it in a magazine and that’s that right yeah, you can’t, if you see it once, you can’t necessarily go back and find it through all your magazines, but on social media. It is interesting because if you remember an ad, you can easily go find it with a lot of campaigns, you’re going to have multiple ads on multiple platforms.

So you can do those ads targeting your audience, and you know they’re going to see that over and over again, which is really great and that’s why you have to think about the big picture. It’S not just one ad. It’S not going to just be there for just one person to see and with a print ad. Typically, you want to include as much information as you can in the ad. Typically, that’s what we see a lot of, but in digital, like you, said, think of the big picture like that.

Storyline is constantly happening across different blogs different times, and you have opportunities to communicate that message over time. You don’t have to do it all at once and because, most of the time, the ads going to click through to a page where you can put all the information you want, so the driving factor is you just have to make it look good. You have to make it different. You can take risks because it’s a digital platform.

It’S like I said it’s only going to live for a couple days. You can take risks, that’s what’s important and that’s that’s one of the advantages of digital is that you can try new things and because and because of that – or you can do that, because you have essentially instant feedback built into each of the Train of flexibility. Yes, so like we post something on Facebook and instantly, we know whether or not that design and that copy is engaging and whether it’s having the effect we want it to have easy, well easily trackable.

You know if, if you have one post that you post one day and it’s getting all this feedback a lot of likes and comments and shares, you know they were doing right. But then you maybe post something very similar with a different image and you can see that it’s not engaging and you really got to sit down and you know dissect that feedback and figure out what makes one post better than the other. And we are talking a little bit earlier about just like this traditional process, which typically, you know, takes time yes and the digital process, which, because of the nature of digital, we are able to create content today and post it today and get our feedback today, and Because of that, you, you mentioned earlier to be quick, like don’t sit on ideas, especially when they’re relevant you know in this world we have things going viral every day and and you can’t wait a week if something’s gone viral, if you want to jump on board, You got to get going and figure out the best way for your team, or you know yourself to manage your time and get what needs to get out as fast as you can and because you have a format or a blog, where things only last.

For a couple of days, it’s okay! If it’s not perfect, right right exactly and if you make a mistake, you can delete it, which is nice. You can re-edit re-upload, so um. I think the thing that drives the most results is taking those risks within the brand guidelines, of course, of course, stay on stay on bran, but take those right and within the blogs guidelines. That’S probably the final point that we mentioned is that yeah, you mentioned a little bit earlier about advertising on Facebook and the 20 % rule, but just in general, every network is going to have some sort of guidelines right.

So it’s become second nature for me because I do it so much, but if you aren’t aware of especially with Facebook guidelines for advertising, there’s a limit for the amount of words that you can have on an ad. So it’s you want to really have the strong imagery making sure that your ads are going to be the most boosted and going to reach the the biggest audience there you go so Whitney.
