How To Be A Style Blogger | My 5 Best Tips & Advice

So this is one of the questions that I get all the time from guys who are interested in getting into style blogging, but don’t really know where to start or how to do it or what the best practices are. Now I’ve been doing it for five years now and over that time I’ve learned a lot.

I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and experience and we’ve had a good amount of success throughout that time. You know there. There really was no blueprint for me of how to do it right. We were really sort of making it up as we went along and defining what this was going to look like what this was going to be and how it was going to be done. And you know things are always changing and you always have to adapt to a certain degree, but there are some fundamental things that I think are extremely important to think about to consider and to really know before you get into it.

If you want to be successful now, the first thing you need to ask yourself is: what do you want to achieve? Are you just extremely passionate about something and want to share it? Do you want to make money? Do you want to get free stuff? Do you want to be famous? There are no wrong answers here, and no one of those intentions is more or less noble than the other, but you really need to look inside and be honest with yourself about what it is exactly that you want to get out of this adventure, because having a Clear answer to those questions will define how you approach this and will guide everything that you do.

Next is possibly the biggest question you need to ask yourself, and that is what do you offer more and more. This is becoming an increasingly crowded space, and you really need to have something that differentiates you not only so that you stand out, but just something that gives people a reason to want to listen to you and to follow you. What makes you unique? What is your point of view? What do you have to contribute to the conversation so on our whiteboard in the studio? We have three questions written down, and these are questions that you should consider before you even start and that I think you should continue to revisit over and over again as you progress and start to have some success and continue to evolve.

And those questions are what is truly unique about you, what is truly ownable for you and what right do you have to play and win in this content space? It’s good to answer those questions again to help define what it is, exactly that you’re doing and hope to achieve, and that flows into what I think is one of the hardest questions to answer, and that is why are you doing what you’re doing now, if you Haven’t already, I really recommend reading Simon Synnex book start with why I’ll put a link to it below in the description, because this book and the concepts in the book will really get you thinking about some higher level stuff.

I find that even if people think they know the, why of what they’re doing it’s often hard to put into words now I always knew what I’d hope to achieve with. He spoke style, but it wasn’t until I read this book that I was truly able to articulate it and, and once I was able to once I had written it down, everything became so much clearer and there was so much more purpose behind everything that we were Doing you know if you’re really committed to being in it? You really need to have that kind of focus and to use your time wisely.

In addition, if you don’t have a clear vision that will come through and be confusing to people, they won’t know what you stand for or who you are or what you’re all about. If you haven’t answered that question for yourself and just saying that you want to inspire people is not enough, that’s what you’re doing or that’s what you want to do. It’s not why you’re doing it, so you can see that it’s really not that easy to define your why, but it is extremely important, in my opinion, if you really want to have a deep and meaningful impact on people now, once you’ve figured out the higher level Stuff, you need to sit down and make a plan.

Before I published a single post on he spoke style. I had made a year-long content calendar, it’s good to see the big picture, it’s good to see where you’re going and it’s good to have a schedule. You never want to get into a situation where you’re operating day to day or not sure, what’s coming up next now it does take a little bit of time to put something like this together, but if you really want to do it right, this is something that You need to do the time you invest in making a plan like this will pay huge dividends and will make every part of the process go that much smoother and having a plan like this will help you with the next part, which is to execute and be Consistent, I cannot stress enough the importance of consistency when it comes to publishing online, whether that’s a website, your Instagram Facebook YouTube blog.

It is so important to train your audience to give them something to expect and to look forward to on specific days at specific times, and not only that, but consistency is rewarded by the bigger powers-that-be, like Google and algorithms. These engines look for things like that, and if one of your goals is to reach as many people as possible, you really need to publish consistently next. I think it is so important to publish only high quality original content and again this is one of the things that will make you unique.

Now I started he spoke style because a lot of the websites I was reading about classic men’s style did not have original images of the stuff that I was reading about. Sometimes they were archival images. Sometimes they were sourced from other websites and that to me removed a lot of the personal connection that I wanted to feel and that I thought was very important to really getting behind a certain point of view.

Like don’t just tell me about something, show me how to do it show me how something should be worn. Show me how you would wear it, not a bunch of other people that I can find online myself now when it comes to original content and especially original artwork, I will tell you that great photography is absolutely non-negotiable. Get a decent camera set it up on a tripod work with a friend who has an interest in photography, and you can also pay someone to take photos for you.

The reason for that is because the level of production and quality of content being put out there. These days is extremely high and to establish yourself in that world you really need to be at or as close to the level of what’s already out there in the market. All right blogs do you need a website, Twitter or Facebook. Instagram YouTube, snapchat pinch a podcast! Now I have a very specific opinion on this and it comes from the nature of how I’ve set up my business and and grown my business.

Personally, I think a website is very important. I think Instagram is very important and I think YouTube is very important right now, a couple of years ago I would have told you that Facebook was very important now for me and for my business I really feel that it is extremely important to have multiple blogs. I like to have a wider portfolio of services available, just to be able to offer a variety of things and to be able to tailor our packages to best meet the needs of the brands that we work with now.

Can you have success with just one strong blog? Yes, you can, and there are plenty of examples out there – of people who have had a lot of success just on Instagram or just on YouTube. The problem is the media. Landscape is always changing and there is some risk associated with devoting your entire effort towards one specific blog. For example, when I was first getting started five years ago, I met someone who had a million followers on Pinterest, and this was her business.

She made money through affiliate links on her Pinterest content. Well, one year later, Pinterest came and said we’re not supporting affiliate links on our platform anymore and just like that, her entire revenue pipeline was shut off. So that’s just one example of the risk you’re taking on. If you decide to focus specifically on one blog now, the other thing is that, because the landscape is always evolving and there’s a shifting emphasis on different blogs, there are people who will jump from lily pad to lily pad, depending on which way the winds are blowing.

At the moment, and although I feel they might have some short-term success – they’re really trapping themself in this kind of endless loop of having to redefine who they are and what they’re about and who they’re serving that. I think it dilutes their brand and kind of calls into question their authenticity, so, if you’re an aspiring men’s style blogger, those are some things to think about that. I think are key to being successful, asking yourself what you want to get out of it.

What do you offer? What’s your point of view, why are you doing what you’re doing making a plan executing that plan consistently only posting original high quality content and deciding what blogs are the best fit for you based on your goals, so the business of blogging is a topic that I Plan to cover from time to time, and if you have questions or specific topics about that, you’d like me to talk about, go ahead and leave those in the comments, I’m very passionate about mens style.

But I’m also very passionate about the business side of what we do and I am happy to share everything that I’ve learned over the 5 years that we’ve been doing. He spoke style. If you like this article, please give it a thumbs up and do not forget to subscribe to the blog. That’s all for now guys thanks for reading and stay tailor.

TOP 5 ADVICE FOR SALESPEOPLE [Gary Vaynerchuk]

I don’t understand how people think they’re relevant right like and by the way I think email is still the killer app. I think phone calls the phones incredible but but they’re declining in our attention. I have not responded to a bulk or even a one-on-one sales pitch, an email or phone form in a decade. A stunning amount of people behind that camera right now are not going to be successful in sales, because they’re not willing to work hard enough.

They love the automation, they love all these tools. The problem is, if you have the greatest hammer and the greatest screwdriver and the greatest wrench the greatest in front of you, if you don’t use them properly, you will lose right if there’s a nail that I have to put in that ground. But I take the wrench and I hit it when the hammer was right there. It still comes down to the practitioner mm-hmm and you have to be good at your craft and you have to love your.

If you don’t love sales, if you don’t love it, you have no chance, because it’s so hard, it’s so painful, there’s so much rejection right. So those are the things I think about different sales professionals. Reading. Where would you advise that they start in terms of creating their own content or sharing their content, adding their own context as well? Before I go directly into the tactics of, should you make a article? Should you do a written blog post, so she did do a podcast.

You have to reverse engineer who you’re trying to get through. So I think the number one rule of salespeople is to listen. Know your audience know what they did. If you see an M & A just happen, if you see layoffs just happening, if you see one of them, if I see Burger King doing something, I’m thinking what is McDonald’s, think of Russ. So that’s number one number two: where are they spending time? Everybody as a salesperson has to figure out? How do they best communicate? Is it written word? Is it audio? Is it article? Is it in person and how to use the digital world in audio, written or vid you’ll form to create the gateway drug to in person? I look at sales very differently than the far majority.

I think way too many salespeople are patient or impatient. I think way too many salespeople are transactional. I think way too many salespeople are lowest-common-denominator. Spam blast, LinkedIn, email, bulk business card business card business card, so I think I’ve got a different tactic on sales, but don’t get it twisted it’s what I am if you’re not happy with your upside, if you’re not fully fulfilled.

I think a lot of you are doing things that are directly in front of you numbers that they put in front of you you’re trying to achieve that because you have a beach house, you want to buy we’re going that vacation sales is a funny game. If you work in a big company, they manipulate numbers to create your actions. I believe that the best sales people are doing things in a different way. I think you need to care about the customer for real reverse-engineer them and give them what they need.

I’m a better salesperson than you, because I’m the anti salesperson and I think that’s the best salesperson. Please understand that the world has changed in the attention of the person you’re trying to get to is moving into different places, and this big one stop complaining. A great salesperson shuts their mouth and she goes to work every day and tries to bring value to the end-user, and this patient and over time wins the marathon of sales put yourself in that position.

How To Start A Service Business and Make $1500 – $2500 ( Monthly) in 90 Days

This article is about how to make $ 1,500 to $ 2,500 within the next 90 days, starting from scratch be sure to read all the way to the end. There’s a section there, a list of businesses to help you get started hey. This is Glendon Cameron. Founder of hustlers come food.Com, be sure to get your free nineteen business courses first link below recently, we’ve had a win. Someone went through the child support course and got his child support case dismissed pretty cool stuff.

Yes, that’s the kind of stuff that can goes down in hustlers coming fool.Com. You can learn how to make money. You can learn how to fix your credit, and you can learn how to get your child support case. Dismissed all for free, first link below be sure to get on it. Let’s have a chat. You want to start a business. You want to start an online business. You looking to make some money right, but there’s a few problems.

You want to make money online, but you’re hearing a lot of stuff. We’ve tried a lot of things and based upon your own experiences, it’s been slow. A few wins here, a few losses here. Typically, it takes 2 to 5 years to build a business online. However, I got something a little different for you. You can build a business offline, wait a minute just hold up hold up hold up. I know you, your front. A lot of stuff just hold on a second: you can build a business offline within 90 days, make 1,500 to 2,500 dollars.

If you are hustling now, I know doesn’t sound like a lot of money, but typically with my consulting business and talking to people the biggest problem that most entrepreneurs have is: how can they make money to support themselves while they build their business? Well, here’s an answer for you create a service based business. While you build your online business now for some people that seems like I don’t want to do that.

I want to be like you Glen and I want to have digital, be a digital citizen. Have my online business I’m not trying to work a job or start some hustle? I just wan na go straight online. Okay, that’s going to cost you either a bunch of time or a bunch of money. Do you have that? That’s the reality, you’re going to spend a bunch of money a bunch of time and if you don’t have either one you’ve got to work with what you have to work with, and that’s the reason I’m talking to you like this.

The last three weeks I have talked to a few hundred of you. Yes, a few hundred of you and 90 % of you are in that I want to do some. I don’t know what I’m going to do and I really have no problem talking to you, but I’m not going to be your girlfriend on the phone to talk about your dreams and ambitions when you ain’t doing shit with your life, that’s where a lot of people Are that’s why I’m you’re being the brother? You never had telling you this stuff because you can want until the cows come home you can want.

You can hope you can wish, and it’s just not going to happen Playboy until you actually start to make it happen. Now 10 % of the people call me actually have businesses or doing something and they’re a little stuck, but essentially everyone has the same problem. I got to put food on the table, but I want to do this business. How do I do both and that’s something I thought about number one, going back to 30 days to 2,500, the people really rocked out has sales experience and the whole time there was.

So what we’re going to do is more on that later, we’ll talk about that. Just stay tuned: let’s talk about what you need to do number one. You got to pick something you got to pick something to do. You have to pick something to focus on now. I get a lot of people and this is where I get the pushback. Well, I don’t want to do that. Well, until you get the skills to do what you want to do, you got to work with what you have and that’s the reality of it and you sitting there not wanting to do something, hopefully wasting you’ll think you’re wasting time.

Your really recent time, because time is ticking, that clock is ticking all right. So that’s our little chat. Let’s get into the educational aspect of this. Why do you want to create a local business when you’re hearing all this stuff about making money online speed? Like I said toward the end of the article there’s 10, I think there’s 13 to 15 business models, things you can pick, and maybe you won’t want to do one of those, but at least they give you some information to stretch your imagination, where you can think Of something that you want to do, because this is the thing this is where we are, unemployment is much higher than people are telling you way higher.

There are certain segments of the population with unemployment, 50 % and that’s on both ends of the spectrum. People under 25 and people over 55 that’s a lot of people. You need to start the business now. This is the plan. This is what I have for you number one to make 1500 to 2500 dollars in the next 90 days. You’ve got to give a service based business. This is something that if you have legs hands a car, you can do grunt work.

You can get this business started, that’s not the hard part, and this is where many people start to stumble and fall. They go out. They hustle they get some jobs, they start making some money, then either they’re working or they’re, not working or they’re, chasing business or they’re doing business and there’s all of these gaps. It’s like feast or famine. It’s like hey we’re, making money we’re doing this stuff in the lull period.

Now. One of the reasons that these low periods occur is because of a lack of professional sales training. So you pick something that you can get reoccurring revenue. That’s first thing you do like. I said I’ve got to list the stuff toward the end of the article. Then you go out there and you execute now. This is the difference between you and other people. Somebody out there right now who’s, not reading.

This article is executing they’re building one of these service based businesses and they’re, getting money but they’re going to type out because they don’t know how to build a system and infrastructure, and that is probably one of the most valuable things you can do for your business. It’s incredible what they can do for your business. Now you hear a lot of stuff of everybody wants passive income.

I don’t do anything. I just sit back and collect the money, everybody that I’m going to group with that’s doing it. That’s a seven-figure earner or a figure earner they’re working their asses off every last one of them every last. One of them is working their asses off. They may not be doing a hundred hours a week but they’re putting in the good 40 to 60. They are working this passive income thing mmm, it happens, I have it, I’ve had it, but I’m telling you it’s very short-term and the market can change on you in a heartbeat.

So if that’s your only source of income – and it goes in the world – I hurt so let’s just let that go for now go ahead and get yourself some active weekly income, that’s meaning you’re, making money. Every week I don’t care from the beginning. It’s only 100 bucks. You can build from that and then once you get to 1500 2500 3000, then you can start pushing your internet business model. But the thing is you got to keep doing your service based business, while you’re doing your internet business model.

Now I’ve said this before so this several times, I’m going to say it again. When I shut down the upscale garage, sell through the illness and went into becoming an internet marketer, I wasn’t sleeping on the sofa my car was paid off. I had money in the bank, I was able enough money live off of two years. Why? I did this? My situation is atypical and there are many people’s like that. Guy looks like me, he did it.

I can do it, but you don’t know the details and I keep trying to tell people I keep laying out, but many of you are hoping for rain bolsters are going to come out of a unicorns ass and bless you with some magic jelly beans. It’s not going to happen. Many of you are trying to fuck with no pussy you’re lying. Many of you are trying to fuck with no pussy you’re lying. Many of you are trying to fuck with no pussy you’re lying.

Many of you are trying to fuck with no pussy your life, but there’s no pussy and you’re wondering why you’re frustrated you have got to do something. You got to start building something and get busy and stay busy. Now. The next step is once you go ahead and get your business going up, then you have to scale it and you have to automate as many parts of it as possible. Now there’s someone that’s going to come in the comments.

It’s like tell us what kind of business once again: there’s 13 business models or 14 or 15 at the end of the article. It is up to you to go through them and to do the research. Like I said in the beginning, the article I have 19 free business courses for you, you you got, the information you’ve got structured courses is once again it’s on you to get busy now. This is something else I’m going to talk about, and this is a big problem.

Many people want someone else to do the work for them. You want someone to hold your hand now, as a business owner, that’s not going to work. You are going to have to be self governed and you’re going to have to start to scale your business you’re going to start pushing your business now. The third component of filling a service-based business customer service and back office. Now these are the two parts where things just really start to go crazy.

Like I’ll tell you something I’ll share something with you since we’re like friends and everything, hustlers kung, fu calm is free right now for a reason for me to gain static data that I would not gain any other way and I’m getting a lot of it. This is what’s happening, people are coming in and they’re looking at what the new stuff that I’m doing, they’re completely ignoring the older stuff. Now I just told you, someone went through the south support course and got its case dismissed now.

What does that mean? It works, but the information only works. If you work, it is a hundred percent free and you still have people looking for shortcuts. I’m not going to hold your dick dry dick, Danny mm-hmm, no, no! No! No! No! So it’s going to be up for you to go and shake it. Part of the problem here is, and I’m an internet guy, so I’m in this community that there are many of you who actually believe that you can actually go from nothing to a lot of money with little to minimum effort.

I’m here right now to slay that myth it doesn’t happen if it happens, is a typical and it’s not the norm, and you need to let it go and prepare yourself to work. If you do the work, you will be successful if you keep dilly-dally and waiting around coming up with these excuses. The next two years are going to pass next. Four years are going to pass. The next SiC here is going to pass. The next decade is going to pass and you’re going to be in the same place that you are right now now who’s going to be mad, who’s going who’s going to be mad, then who’s going to be mad, so go ahead.

Read the article get to the end. Look at that stuff check it out and start setting yourself some goals, because when I did the first 30 days to 2,500, it was a dude by the name of cleaver, and this is advice that I gave two and a half years ago, cleaver was like I’m On my friends, sofa, I don’t have a car, I don’t have money and I say you need to start a surface business and I’ve been trying to steer people to this.

But it’s like nothing. I want to do anything, but I want to live the dream chest during the same time. Few people can do it most can so. The same advice that I gave cleaver and he’s around he’s in the group is you need to start some kind of service based business, so you can start generating some cash cleaver within the matter of three weeks, went from nothing to. I think twenty two hundred dollars cash and he was on foot on foot – ended up buying the house that he was staying in with friends.

He did this in like six months. That’s the power of a service-based business. There. Some people took the original 30 days to 2500 and they’ll. Remember that same advice I gave two and a half years ago, I’m giving it to you right now, and this is your path out of poverty. This is your path away from this bullshit you’re dealing with now. Let’s have another conversation here. You got a job you’re going to have to work, double-time you’re, going to have to keep your job and then you’re going to have to work just as hard.

If not it’s hard on your business until it becomes costly for you to keep your job and at some point it’s going to become costly and that’s the point. You quit your job, because there are many people who want to just quit right now and they have no infrastructure. Nothing set up. So that’s it. So that’s how you make 1,500 to 2,500 dollars from scratch in the next 90 days by starting a service based business and busting your ass.

So for those of you who are still here who are not offended left the room but, like I said, I’m going to just give you a quick breakdown of some business models that you can use to jog your imagination, to give you some ideals and read that Section take notes and just push yourself to think of some – that you can do to get some service business based income. So with that, let’s get down to the examples.

Okay, this is the list of service businesses that I curated for you and the reason I say curated is all of these. Businesses have a serious component of reoccurring revenue. There are way more service type businesses that you can start, but they don’t all have reoccurring revenue. So check it out, you could do mobile spa services now with there’s a certain legal component to this, so if you’re already a massage therapist or in school.

This is something that you can do on your own. If you learn how to sell and book clients and get them on a monthly service, you can kill it, you could totally kill it now. Another service business that is tried, tested and true car-washing Mobile Detailing you have a spy posted up next to another business. This is tried and true it’s been going on forever, because if you have someone who is really busy and they have a luxury car and they have the income, it is cheaper for them to have you wash their car once a week twice above then for them To spend an hour and a half out there detail detailing it within their free time, because what people are buying is their their bonding time, they’re buying freedom.

So if you work 60 hours a week, last thing you want to do is wash your car on the weekend big big service, big opportunity. I have a friend who owns a car, wash he’s been in business many years. He does one point for the 1.6 million a year gross revenue washing cars, yes washing cars. Another thing you can do is referral service. Whenever you you move or sometimes you will get this pack of coupons in the mail.

That’s a referral service. There’s several different ways to do it, but the thing is there, you reoccurring revenue component, you go ahead. You start the referral service. You learn how to sell. You learn how to go out there and make things happen. Then you get reoccurring, customers, you know. If the customer gets a good result, you sign them up and then you’ve got ten people who are paying you them off.

You got 20 people we’re paying your muff. You got 30 people paying your month, it’s pretty pretty sweet. Another tried and true apartment cleaning. You go ahead and get yourself a few apartments every month, you’re working and the thing is to have that reoccurring, revenue to get to know the industry to get to know how often apartments have churned. That’s when people move in and move out once again a very lucrative business if you get into it right and you set it up right next thing is residential cleaning.

There are people, I have friends, who’ve had cleaners for the last 20 years. They do not clean their own house, they may do some light stuff or, but they all. This is for some people a necessity. It is not a add-on, it’s a necessity. So this is a great service business that you can create recurring revenue. Another one came out there copywriting. This is, for you know, people such as myself, who have to write a lot of sales copy who have to write a log blog post.

If you are really good with words, there’s a ton of business out there for you. So that’s another reoccurring, revenue model event planning now, there’s so many ways you can do this, you can specialize, you can shotgun or you can do you can do a mixture. You can take this referral service right and then bring it with the event planning. So what you would do is go out to 10 15 20 businesses and say: look I’m going to throw an event, I’m going to advertise the event and then you can come in and talk about your business.

There are people doing it on the high level, where it’s twenty five thousand dollars to attend. One of these events, so definitely just going to take a great deal of planning and execution and getting out there, but I’m just letting you know this is another reoccurring revenue service based model, I’m a service business model. Yes, a service business model and it’s just kind of crazy, as I said here and tell you this, because there are people who are doing this.

Every quarter they’re putting together these dinners with ten people at twenty fifteen grand a pop and they’re just introducing high influence people to high influence people and getting paid for it. So just something you think about and another thing window-cleaning, very, very profitable business. If you set it up right, if you put it together and once again it has that reoccurring, revenue component sales training as someone who has gone through professional sales, training and who’s gone through a great deal of self-education, I cannot tell you how helpful sales training is And part of sales training is marketing.

Part of sales training is developing your customer relationship management protocols. Super super important, and anyone that gets into a good sales training program will see an immediate increase in revenues. That’s how important it is. That’s why they’ll Carnegie has been around forever because there’s always a need, because most people do not know how to sell and lawn care once again service based business reoccurring revenue.

My long guy is two hundred bucks a month. Year-Round that’s the deal they do the leaves they do all this stuff and they just come three or four times a month and that I’m just speaking as a client of one that, if you’re busy – and you know, if you like doing your lawn and cutting your Trees and trimming the hedges, if that’s a form of therapy and peace for you, I get that. But if you hate that stuff there’s a ton of people out there who hate it don’t want to do it, don’t have the time and paying someone is just freeing them up.

So that’s another thing: now this one gets very broad hair care service. There’s a lot of sub components here, there’s coloring that people will just do colorist their stylist, there’s folks, who just do haircuts, I mean one again: people have to have their hair done once a month every six weeks, two weeks, something so depending upon where you are In that spectrum, because a lot of this stuff, you have to have a license, some of it, you don’t I don’t know – I don’t know but before you do anything, make sure that you go ahead and look at your laws and what you have to do to Be able to put your hands and someone’s head, but once again, once you get your qualifications and your certificates, whatever you need, this is a killer, reoccurring, business model.

I had a friend, he was dating this girl and he was just like man. She always has funny. Always has money, that’s like. So what’s your problem, it’s like man. She has a lot of money and it’s like he said. I don’t understand it’s like you know, she’s, a hair, stylist right, that’s, okay! They make good money, he said. No, you don’t understand. Didn’t kind of find out, she didn’t tell him, but I actually told him it’s like she owns the salon.

He didn’t know that he was blown away about how much money she makes. But you know she worked really really hard, but there’s a ton of money in that type of profession. Another service based business is handyman now in this economy. In the way the world is a lot of people not getting married. So you have a lot of people. Male and female, who are not handy and they will pay someone to come, hang a picture and they will pay someone to come do stuff.

They could do themselves, but once again people are buying back their time. So, instead of spending a week in painting they hire you, they go to the Hamptons come back, the walls are painted, handyman service, properly, positioned, properly set up can be very, very profitable and there’s so many different things that you can do now. Is this any stretch of the imagination all of the service businesses know what I did once again going back to curation is I put together businesses that have a reoccurring revenue model because a reoccurring revenue model is so important and if you hold on for a minute In the next segment, I will explain to you exactly why and how you can take advantage of that.

You hey, this is Glendon Cameron, founder of hustlers kung-fu comm, I’m going to tell you about how to sell big premium sales training. One of the things that happened when I built out 30 days to $ 2,500 per month was some people crushed it, but other people yeah they didn’t do so well, and I was just wondering why I mean it really really messed with me. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. The people who did well had sales training, the people who did not do well had no sales training.

That was the difference and it’s critical. So, if that in mind, I’ve designed a new program bringing themselves training, what we’re going to do together to make you successful is at first is a one-on-one business evaluation. Now, what does that mean? You have a business and I’m going to tear it apart and tell you everything, that’s wrong with it and how you can make it better by implementing a sales process.

Now I know it sounds like I’m being somewhat presumptuous to assume that you don’t have a sales process, but I’ve talked to a number of people who don’t it’s common. I’m in a Facebook group with people who sell everything from high-end airplanes to life insurance, and I went in one mere hours after joining and impacted and put in some stuff that these sales professionals did not know did not understand, and these people sell every day.

Good sales training is the difference between $ 100,000 a year in $ 1,000,000 a year. That’s that critical. So another thing that we’re going to talk about which no one else talks about is how to build out your CRM, which is customer relationship management software. Most people who have a business, don’t have it. It is critical. It will make the difference in your business. That will blow your mind, we’ll teach you how to develop a sales pitch.

Many people don’t have one, because what I liked it, what I hear from folks is I hand out my flyer, I hand them my business card. Your flyer and your business card are not going to sell anything unless that person has an immediate need for your product or service. At that moment, if that need for your product or service comes up six months later chances are, you will not get that business? You have to learn how to pitch.

You’ll have to learn how to qualify. You’ll have to learn how to set it up, and you have to learn how to follow up. All of that goes back to CRM brand. Your business simple, create a sales funnel. That’s why you need CRM, build a web page that converts there’s something that I’ve been doing with some of our clients. That’s been working, amazing and you’ll. Get that how the market, how to find customers manage your back-office, a community of business owners.

Now this is how it works. It’s two hundred and fifty dollars a month. Currently, it is grouped training once we you sign up we’ll set a time where I’ll do a business evaluation with you and your business, then from that point on you’re going to get group training, there will be webinars, a lot of things would be recorded and it’s All going to be in a Facebook group, so you can access it at anytime anywhere.

If you can get on Facebook, you can get in that way. If you lose your login, you don’t have to worry about keeping up with that stuff and it’ll all be in one central location. Super easy super convenient and you can get this information that will change your life change, your business. So simply weekly sales training will be happening in the group and what I’m going to do for everyone that signs up, because there’s a special cold here and you don’t get that code.

Unless you read the end of the article there’s a special code, everyone that comes in here will get to business evaluations. The normal deal is just one so we’re going to have your main, a business evaluation, and probably a month later, we’re going to have another one. So you’ll get that as a signup bonus, but you can only get it from this link. That’s attached to this article, so nowhere with the link B you’re going to have a little screen that will pop out.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zO23IBc0byE

That will be your annotation or, if you don’t see the link, there’s going to be a little. I take your finger and go to MS. It currently is, at the top right hand, corner just press your finger in that space and I’ll pop up pop down, and you can check it out. You’ll be added to the facebook group within 24 hours, except on weekends. Maybe longer then my assistant will reach out to you, get your name your number and we will set up a time to do your one-on-one business evaluation and there will be sales training and a lot of stuff that you’ve never seen anywhere else before in the group.

I just posted the breakdown of a 1.2 million dollar lunch. How much money was spent on Facebook ads the the whole program? That’s currently in the group that you can go back, reverse-engineer pull out stuff that you can use for your business or you could just try to use that whole done. That platform, that whole sequence use that sequence. If enough place, if it’s applicable to your business and there’s going to be a lot more of that stuff, that’s coming, and I shall tell you you want to get in now, because it is currently 250.

As I make the group more valuable and I’m going to talk about value, if I can get some of the people that I want lined up to come in and talk to you, it’s going to go up, because these are has some high profile people. But as I make it valuable more useful to you, because currently the way that it is, if you just came in for a month and learned how to build out your CRM, develop a sales pitch and create a sales funnel, you would use those skill sets.

For years, those skill sets can be worth not a hundred dollars to you, not a thousand dollars to you, but literally over time, hundreds of thousands of dollars, hundreds of thousands of dollars and they’re this. I know that you being smarter than the average bear you’re going to jump all over this, and I will see you in the group. You you

Why you NEED an LLC for Amazon FBA

I have to share this with you guys. So, like always in my articles, I do the Y house and then the additionals, so here’s the Y right – and this might be obvious to some of you – maybe some of you – it won’t be.

It is deductions. Deductions are crazy. This is how even fortune 500 companies are able to operate a loss and not have to pay taxes, sometimes even end up with refunds, which is insane you need to take advantage of that if you’re in the u.S I’m in talking to US law, it’s it’s. It’S really really cool in regards to ecommerce. What we’re doing in Amazon, it’s up to $ 5,000 startup cost. That’S so much money, guys $ 5,000! Think of the all the equipment you need.

You need an iPhone or an Android phone right. You need a smart phone. You need a computer, so all that cost can be deducted from the startup cost. Here’S the cool thing. I know if you just start it now or maybe a couple months ago, anything you’ve purchased in the year of 2017. Let’S say because you know we’re coming up on the tax season, you can deduct so that computer you bought in March. It’S now a company computer.

So if you have the invoice for it, you can deduct it. So you can add up $ 5,000 pretty quickly um. So expenses are anything from from defer. Your deductions are anything from marketing advertising travel. So, like you know, flights or mileage if you’re driving in a car the electricity bill right, everyone has an electricity bill, the internet bill. You cannot do e-commerce without internet. That’S a deduction seminars, classes, accounting costs even so much as meals.

So if you’re meeting say you and a buddy are doing the Amazon, FBA and you’re meeting them and you’re brainstorming, that’s a business meeting right! You can deduct it! Here’S another! Here’S! Another big wine paper loss right. I was mentioning that earlier, so you can actually operate at a loss and that loss of your LLC will compensate for your income tax that you have in your day job. So let’s say you made fifty thousand dollars in your day.

Job and you operate your LLC at a ten thousand dollar loss, keep in mind, we’re not in the business of losing money, but let’s say you’ve lost ten thousand dollars that ten thousand dollars in taxes. You can use the $ 10,000 that you’ve lost in your business. Can be used against your personal income, so you pay less taxes either way right. Here’S the how the boring part right, the very first thing.

Once you form you LLC, you need to put a corporate structure in place, so what that is essentially is you’re going to be paying yourself a salary. The next thing that comes – and I believe this has to be done within 75 days. It’S called an ECE. It’S an entity classification election. Now I don’t know all the details about it, but I can tell you needs to be done within 75 days and what it is is you’re letting the IRS know how you want to be taxed.

If you do not do this as an LLC, they will basically just decide to tax you at the highest rate, which is, I believe, as an individual and that’s a tax rate up to 15 percent. You don’t want that. You want the lowest possible rate. The help right this is this is really boring, we’re not in the tax business, at least I’m not. This is where you get help. I did it with 100 accountants. I would highly recommend them.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iEoblMFulVw

They set things up for you, they’re very personal, and you work with a team, so you’re working with a team, so you’re always going to be working with the same people. The people will already know about your expenses. They will go through your if you’re starting now they will go through 2017 credit card statements, alongside with you, and make sure that you’re getting the solid deductions remember they’re working for you.

Their best interest is to provide you with good service, so your remain on them. On the you know, on their payroll, your remain as a customer I mean, and and basically save you money, so the cost for that is about two to three thousand dollars annually. I know that’s a lot they do. You can split that up in payment. They do let you do that and then there’s a 30 dollar retainer. Now don’t freak out guys.

I know that’s a lot of money and that might not be the first thing you want to think of doing, but consider it as you know, as a cost to starting your first. You know your first product really right. You know you’re putting in such a financial commitment you’re going to drive yourself to success. Anyways right. It’S it’s another big thing. You know having no plan B, it’s it’s it’s a big thing, sometimes just jumping with both feet in and yeah it’s and then at it’s.

Just the 30 to 30 dollar cost. The cool thing is: if you need any so articles consultation, they don’t have any hourly fees. You just set up an appointment and you just talk to them. It’S it’s no problem, so there’s no hidden cost. Here’S the crazy thing on top of that we’re talking about deductions earlier right, you can deduct that. So essentially it’s done for you for free, it’s already a tax saving.

Not only will they do your personal business, you you Peart, they will do your business tax and they will do your personal tax. So if you’re already paying someone for your personal tax, you can scratch that right off you’re going to get that done with them anyways. So awesome, that’s the information I wanted to share with you guys. Let me know down in the comments below if I misspoke on something, if there’s something you guys want me to look into and share with you even further put a like hit subscribe thanks for reading

5 Projects That You Can Sell | Woodworking Business

Today we’re going to talk about five projects that we’ve learned so really well for us. So we got a question the other day on Instagram. Go follow us on Instagram, if you haven’t already, but we got a question of somebody asking: what do you make that sells the best like because there’s a ton of different projects? What, as a beginning, woodworker trying to make some money, what should I go towards to make money, and so we were just replied with the five things that we made the most of we thought that would be a pretty good topic for a article, so we’re just Going to roll through the five projects that are just kind of our go-to explain: what’s good and bad about each project, what we’ve learned by building several of them and hopefully that’ll spark an idea for you.

Maybe you can use these as your go-to or it gives you the confidence to get off the ground with your business. Five projects are so versatile and so ubiquitous that, like you, can incorporate. Oh, I know it’s a big word whoa. I heard a B. You use it so yeah ubiquitous means it’s everywhere, so these are five projects that you can make so different and so unique that if a customer just says hey, can you show me something XYZ that you built? You can point to one of these projects and say: well, I can do it just like this, but in a door or in a shelf or in a cabinet, something like that and honestly in your portfolio, people like to see pictures of things that they could see Themselves buying, so if somebody wants a coffee table or they want some bar stools, but all your Instagram or whatever portfolio has in it like super tiny, detailed, keepsake boxes, there can be like.

I don’t know if they’re quite up my alley, let’s just get into it. Talking that’s the transition. Okay, so number one on our list of super common projects is a desk. We have made multiple articles on YouTube of us building desks. That’S just what people want lots. People want need desks whether it’s to fill space in a room or they genuinely just need a work area. We’Ll get a lot of requests to customize desks, whether that’s cable management, wireless charging, certain types of legs that they want, but it comes down to it.

They’Re super simple to make and customize. So if you have a picture of one in your portfolio that somebody thinks it’s cool, they can look at it and say: hey, that’s awesome and then can we do two extra holes for cable management, you’re, like yeah sure no problem super easy, so very versatile. There’S a lot of directions: you can go at this one, you can change the style of a little look of them, the feel of them and when it comes down to it, still just a really usable desk and then a little bit more on the sales side Of building desks and why we absolutely love the building of it.

It’S because it is great practice for you as a salesperson to up charge to add little extras to add accessories and customize it for them and and really as you customize. It takes more time and more materials, more skill. It’S going to naturally cost more, whether it’s labor or whether it’s your hourly rate, it’s the materials you buy all in all, it will cost more. So, for example, somebody comes to you and they say hey.

I need a desk, that’s great! That could be 8 million different desks. You can sit down and say hey. What are you going to use the desk for? Are you a computer gamer? Are you a college student? Do you want it for decoration from there? If they say you know, yeah, I’m a computer gamer, I like gaming, you say well from there. We can do multiple shelves for you. You can make different cubbies to hold tower for your desktop computer.

Cable management is a big one that people who do a lot of online gaming like to do. You can include wireless charging, so they can charge all of their little. I don’t know pieces accessories at the same time, while they’re playing I just want to put in here for just second, you remember, Sam the guy who built the liquor cabinet for a good friend of ours. We just built him a desk and we just did all the we just did all of those things to his little desk.

We have a matched furniture desk, just a pine top chamfered edges, hairpin legs built in that exact same desk. We normally sell it for 200 bucks whenever we batch out five or more, and we turned his almost the same exact style. We turned his into like an 800 dollar desk because we used an oak top he’s two by six oak. For the top note big thick and then I made a long tray that did all of his cable management.

We had a power strip in there and then I routed out a big hole in the bottom, so he could put a wireless phone charger through the top of the wood and with all those up charges. We changed it from a 200 dollar desk that we would make out a pine into an 800 dollar desk and it really only cost me and it cost me an extra like two or three hours worth of labor to get those other things finished. Okay, number: two piece of furniture that we do constantly is coffee tables.

Everybody loves coffee tables. Most of what we see is somebody is trying to achieve a certain style or they’re trying to tie together a certain look in their living room, and the coffee table is a really easy way to do that. So that’s what we see most of the time or somebody will come to us and say hey. I need to match another piece that I have in my living room. So I need the coffee table will look like that and honestly, that’s where we get a lot of repeat customers, alright.

So, on the sales things, coffee tables are really good because it teaches you and it trains you how to followup with your customers and get repeat sales, because if you think about it, where do people put coffee tables in their living rooms? And then, if you look at a living room, think of your living room, it’s probably where you have the most furniture in one small area. That reason being because that’s the room, everybody sees, you have guests and company come over and you sit on the couch in your living room around your coffee table.

You serve drinks. Maybe you have some end tables a shelf in the corner. A TV stand. There’S a ton of stuff in your living room. So if there’s any area of your house, where you want a really nice looking piece that you can, you know talk to people about for people to compliment and point out the cool design features. It’S your living room. So, starting with a coffee table, you build somebody, a coffee table, they really like it.

You follow up with them in a couple of months and you say: hey how do you like that coffee table? They say: hey yeah, I like it, it looks really cool. You can even say something like hey when I was in your living room. I noticed in that corner on the left side of your wall. There’S a little space open and I think it’d be super cool. If we put a bookshelf in there, we could make it match your coffee table by using the same kind of wood.

Oh that’s an awesome idea. I never thought about that. That’D be super cool to have a bookshelf in my living room that matched the coffee table and from there you can start another sale with a repeat customer. So you put a really nice piece of furniture in somebody’s living room and what do people automatically start doing? They start comparing everything they have to that one piece of furniture and when you’re, comparing MDF and particleboard furniture to that beautiful oak coffee table that you just built them they’re going to think wow.

I need to replace some of the stuff I have now with nicer stuff, or I simply want to replace some of my old stuff with newer, nicer stuff. So that’s another awesome way that coffee tables are going to bring you multiple sales. So coffee tables are really good catalysts to train you to find repeat customers and talk to people who have already bought from you all right. Next, up on the list, our cutting boards you’ve seen us make a bunch of cutting boards on this blog and that’s just because they sell really well it’s one of the it’s one of those things that everybody uses, there’s something that you can batch out and make A lot of in a short amount of time they don’t take up a whole lot of space, so you can kind of have them in the corner of your garage or in your basement, or something and just have them ready to go and the next time that You need to make a sale or get a few extra dollars of cash.

You can just start texting a ton of people that you haven’t talked to in a while and just said, hey running this business now was just batching down a ton of cutting boards, one if you wanted one and that’s a really easy way to make a you Know a couple hundred bucks very quickly. It’S also another thing that you can approach businesses with one thing, my buddy Bruce Aldrich that he does. He makes cutting boards for closing gifts, so he’s got a really good connection with a bunch of realtors in town, and he just asked him he’s like hey.

Can I make cutting boards and you give those to your clients as closing gifts when they buy a home or sell a home with you? He stays really busy making a lot of cutting boards and you can get super fancy with cutting boards. You can do the face grain cutting boards, which we do a lot of. You can also do edge and integrating cutting boards, which are also they take a little more time, but they’re really really nice.

And if you get a realtor, that’s got the money to spend on really nice closing gifts typically 50 to $ 100. You can really start to make a lot of money, especially once you start patching them out. That’S also a really good opportunity for you, as a business owner, to learn how to scale if all you need is an extra two or three clamps and you can make another two or three cutting boards per batch. That really raises your profit margins.

So this kind of teaches you how to scale with a small product that way when you get ready to do something like a restaurant or a department store and build all the display tables. You kind of already know how to think through a lot of products running through your shop at once. Yeah, that’s why we recommend cutting boards are a great place to start, if you’re a business, that’s just trying to get off the ground and learn how to do this production thing.

What’S a blanket ladder, it’s time for a field trip, taking a trip. Have your seat? Is it going to be lit? This next up is blanket ladders. Jenny made this one with just a jigsaw and a drill. It was going to be so mean if you just stopped in there stupid easy to make Jenny made this one. Alright. Next on the list, our blanket ladders – they’re very simple – to make Jenny made this one with just a jigsaw in a drill.

They do really well in a living room. They’Re, really versatile. You can get kind of intricate with them. If you want to all it takes. Is just a couple of two by fours you can screw them together plug the holes. This again is another good project. It’S a little bit larger, but you can batch them out really quickly. So it’s another really good learning opportunity for you, as a business owner to batch five to ten of these out and kind of move through the process of doing multiple pieces at once in your shop.

These do really well at craft fairs. Also, do the measuring sticks? You know where you measure your kids height on this stick and you can take the stick with you. If you move or something like that and blanket ladders are really easy to sell, because you can also sell decorating packages with them. This is something Jenny’s done. She’Ll, like bundles she’ll, take a like a burlap sack. You get it Walmart or something like that and she’ll put like four seasons worth of decorations in each one from like Hobby Lobby or somewhere and she’ll sell that bag of decorations for 20 bucks, along with the blanket ladder for about 50 or 60.

So for a hundred bucks, you’ve got a piece and decorations already put together ready for a year-round decorating in your living room, a lot of people in the East in the south, where my family’s from we have a whole bunch of blankets and quilts that are family. Heirlooms and they’re just collecting dust in the closet, but you could put them on a blanket ladder display them. That’S another sales angle that you can go for really.

These things are just so versatile for decorations. Just try to find out what’s popular in your area and try to throw together a decorating package to go with the blanket ladder, because that’s going to go way further than just having a ladder made out of wood that you’re trying to sell. So this is a good way to learn how to market and take good pictures too. Oh my god, so the last thing we’re going to talk about is kitchen tables.

This is where you can really flex your muscles as a maker. If somebody’s buying a kitchen table from you, it’s probably not the first thing they’ve ever bought from you. Maybe it is, but this is a pretty high-dollar item once you’re starting to talk about like custom kitchen tables you’re looking in the to $ 3,000 range, just kind of depending on the size of the table. This is where you can learn how to make bigger items.

You really have to think about your clamping strategy, your sanding and finishing strategies. It’S just everything’s different with a larger product. Everything changes when the project gets really big. It’S one thing to do a bunch of cutting boards and if you have the tables booked, when you get one or two kitchen tables in the workshop, you start to run out of space really quickly. So it’s a good exercise and learning how to you know, just manage your space.

I guess this is where you can really find out how well your shop is laid out, because if you can’t make a large item like a kitchen table in your shop, you may need to consider getting rid of some things or moving some stuff around, especially if You want to do any sort of like production. You, like my crocks you. These are my nice crocks, but yeah kitchen tables. If you’re at the point, where you’re selling kitchen tables to your clients, I’m pretty sure, you’ve made it because that’s something that they’re family touches eats on like people will trust you if it’s like a small cutting board or something.

But if they’re going to spend two or three thousand dollars with you to build a kitchen table, I feel like you’ve you’ve arrived, that person is definitely on your ferris wheel. I hope these tips have been helpful. These are just the five things that we make the most of that we will have the best learning opportunity for a small business or a side hustle trying to learn how to build things and there’s all different types of construction.

Like we’ve covered small things like cutting boards, two really big items like kitchen tables. If you can master those five products, part products, if you can master those five products, everything is going to go your way and it sounds like you’re off to a great start. As a business, so anything else Bruce, he says no all right. Well, if you like this article, please hit the thumbs up. Button helps out the blog a ton.

It really does make a difference hit the subscribe button, if you haven’t already and then, if you want to know even more detail about how we actually closed sales, what we sound like on the phone some scripts, our pricing structure, that sort of thing we have programs Available for purchase, we slow it way down and we don’t put as much fluff and b-roll. It’S literally just the information really in-depth, really solid.

We spend way more time on those programs than we spent on these silly weekly articles, but yeah check out links in the description all right, we’re going to have a couple more articles on the screen here for you to read. Thank you very much.

Why We QUIT OUR JOBS to start a Woodworking Business | How to Price & Sell a Whiskey Gift Box

I guess that’s the last time I can say that on this subject, but airplanes have always been a cornerstone of my identity, see here’s a picture of me as a kid. Here’S a picture of the first airplane that I built and flew in my yard and then here’s a picture of my bedroom after I’d started building RC airplanes to fly in the lot next to our house. And if you try really hard, I bet you could find some terribly cringy articles of me in my yard, flying RC airplanes in high school.

So when a friend of mine reached out and wanted me to build a gift box for his flight instructor, it really struck a chord. It’S been years since I sat in a cockpit, but I can’t wait to get back the past couple of years. I’Ve been distracting myself with other things in the name of maturity, more realistic goals, saving money or some other adult sounding thing, but I’m not going to let those things deter me anymore.

Life isn’t a dress rehearsal, it’s a live, show, there’s no do-overs, no what-ifs no repeats. I need to be back in the air where I belong, that’s how at least best I can figure I’m going to be motivated enough to work hard at my other goals. Now, you’re, probably thinking to yourself what does any of this have to do with woodworking? Hopefully, one day soon, this venture will bring in a lot of money and employ hundreds of people.

We could put food on their tables tables in their homes and funnel the excess profits and cash towards helping others, and I can mean the air again. I don’t want to buy a huge house. I don’t want everyone to know my name. I don’t want tons of exotic cars or a bunch of other crap. I just want to find a way to help other people, while scratching the itch on my soul, to be in the sky, so we’re leaving our jobs and moving to the south.

I know we’ve talked about it quite a bit, but here’s the real story on our current career paths. There’S no feasible way to chase the priorities I just outlined, or stick to our life mission of helping the most number of people possible. It’S time for a risk for a lot of reasons, mostly because we’re young enough to rebound if we fail, because those who we want to help are worth it, because our future employees and their families are worth it and honestly, because her sanity depends on it.

We can’t be employees anymore, at least not in the traditional sense. We just can’t breathe so in our new jobs. For a few months, every year, Jenny now will be flying in a research aircraft gathering storm data to help millions of people evacuate and prepare. In times of natural disaster, but more on that someday soon with the rest of our time, we’ll be trying to build this woodworking business that, hopefully one day provides hundreds of jobs to Americans who know the value of hard work.

Who want to see the smiling faces of a family sitting around a table that they built? Who don’t need to take out giant loans to learn enough to make a living and who will make a ton of money with which we can try to make the world a better place for everyone? We’Re so grateful for our experiences here in the great white north and at our first job. It’S been an amazing testing grounds to prepare us to do this at scale.

The people have been great too, but it’s time for us to go, and projects like this have come along the way to remind us that, with the right priorities and plenty of discipline and lots of hard work, we can have our cake and eat it too, or Whiskey or I guess airplane, if you’re thinking big picture, but you get the point. So that’s our story, that’s our next chapter of life. I know we’ve talked about it quite a bit, but that’s what’s going on with us.

That’S why we’re moving? That’S? Why we’re trying to learn sales is because everything that we want to do in life becomes unlocked by this woodworking business succeeding. I appreciate all of you for coming along for the ride and hitting that subscribe button if you’re new – and this is the first time you’re reading a article of ours – sorry, you kind of caught us in our feelings, but this is where we’re at in life.

Right now, and if this sounds exciting or intriguing, we hope that you’ll hit that subscribe button and join us alright. So the price breakdown on this whiskey gift box right up front. We did not charge enough on this project. Originally I wasn’t going to do finger joints on the corners. I was just going to do, but joist with nails and glue. Then I just decided you know what hey we’re going to get this box joint jig eventually like this is a good project as any.

At this point, we had stopped taking more orders, so our free time was more plentiful and I I’m doing a lot of rationalization, but the bottom line is we didn’t charge enough? So if you use our normal pricing structure for materials, it was about three board feet of walnut, which is about $ 24 in my area and then miscellaneous glue and stuff. Like that five bucks, when you counter in the labor at $ 30 an hour, this box took six hours to put together, which is ridiculous.

All right now I counted time of assembling the box joint jig and getting it all set up and dialed in so now that it’s set, I don’t think it’ll take near six hours. This box is probably a two or three hour job. Now, if I were to do it again, so the total quote should have been $ 24 plus five dollars, miscellaneous expenses for materials and then $ 90. So what are we looking at there? So we’re looking at a total of 119 dollars just for labor and materials multiply that times 1.

4 to get our 40 % markup and we’re looking at a hundred and sixty six dollars. Yeah but probably would have shot for 175. Probably would have taken anything around 150 or over that, but in all honesty we only charged a hundred dollars back. When I thought this box was going to be a bunch of butt joints. I yeah. I just thought that that would have been a great price and it would have been, but because we use the Box joints and everything else, it really slowed us down.

I still think we could have gotten this under two hours. If I wasn’t doing the Box joints, especially if I already had some walnut that was milled up, I didn’t realize how dull my planer blades were, after the big rolling sliding barn door that we have just done before this. So I could have saved time on milling. It could have saved time on the box joints if I already had the jig set up so anyway.

All those reasons aside, we lost money on this project and that’s okay. I learned from it. I there’s a lot of really good things that we learned. We optimized a few things with the Box joint jig. We understood that hey, we need to change our planer blades after we do a really big job with really hard plywood. We learned that so, even though we’ve lost money, it’s still a really good experience for us.

Overall – and we would definitely take this job again – but we’d probably price it higher at like 150 175 – something like that yeah, that’s pretty much the breakdown on this one. Let me know what you think. I thought it turned out. Really nice theyed it’s by no means fine craftsmanship. He kind of wanted the client wanted it pretty rustic. You know it’s a whiskey box. It’S not supposed to be some like ornate, beautiful, like gold, inlay sort of like gift box.

This was just a hey there’s. Some shredded paper in here that’s pretty cool. Let’S make it rustic and it’ll set up on a shelf and yeah it’s a really cool project so anyway, other than that, thanks for reading the article please hit the like button. If you thought this was valuable, really helps us grow and share this information with more people who can help get their businesses off the ground. So thanks so much for the help, and thanks for sticking around

I think we’re good we’re good. Alright, almost here we go you’ll get my official welcome in just one second, and then we will get started all right here.

We go jatai international, feather baby. Here we are yeah. Oh look at that. That’S a live article in the spotlight, uh! What’S going on right now! That’S me! I know it’s me yeah! I can see it’s me. Okay, hang on! I just want to make sure I got it up here live about a minute ago. Yeah here we are just me, live okay, it looks like we all got all the moving parts in place and they’re sliding and connecting and doing beautifully.

I got to mute the volume on my laptop because we can hear me talking to me what a bunch of technical amateurs okay good evening and welcome to jatai International jatai Academy here on Facebook on the web. It is Tuesday night. It is November. 27Th. 2018. Welcome to our live program once again, jatai Academy here on Facebook has been featuring me and a variety of other folks, bringing you a ton of great information, and I have what I think is going to be a really cool and a really interesting program.

I actually have an agenda written out on paper, I’m known for that and some of my other programming can you say thank you, okay, uh and we’re ready to get started um originally for this broadcast, because we’re wrapping up the end of November we’re ending up no-shave November, we’re ending up Movember that exciting month, with all that men’s, facial, hair, stuff and truth be told. You know what I tried to get a model where we’re going to take some guy who grew his beard for the whole month and groom him up and shave him up and everything and for lack of a better way.

To put it, I think most of America decided this year that they just didn’t care about no-shave November, about Movember hunting, beards, deer, beards, you know whatever you call them in different parts of the world. Part of the phenomenon is, I think, a lot of guys have facial hair, so growing facial hair for November’s like a big. What do you mean? I had it all 11 months. Why do I need it now? So when I honor the program today, I didn’t shave this morning, so I’ve got 18 hours of beard just to keep that theme consistent and going, and you know being the world’s number one manufacturer of premier razor blades shaving handles and all things awesome for shaving.

I think it only made sense that we would have a No Shave November, a Movember wrap up program to share with you guys, but, alas, we don’t, but I think I’ve got something that is going to be more powerful and more impactful. So, let’s acknowledge No Shave November. Let’S thank everybody who grew a beard, let’s thank everybody who donated a nickel, a dime and a dollar or something to a men’s health related charity.

Let’S congratulate everybody in a barber shop or hair salon anywhere in America who had a men’s health conversation with a male client, whether it is some forms of cancer, whether it’s men’s psychological health, all of those kind of things, um, there’s some great people out there doing Some great things with suicide prevention for men and my friend Tom Chapman from the UK he’s got a great program with that with the Lions, collective came up and look that up online and learn a little bit about all of that.

So men’s health still important. Still a big thing: deer hunting is still going on in the part of the world where I live in the Midwest. I went out hiking last week with my son and we’re told that certain areas of the state Preserve were off-limits to hiking because they were hunting and if you had an orange jacket and a hat with antlers on it, you might be okay, but you might be In trouble, but nonetheless, the program today is going to focus on our final thoughts and I wrap up to end 2018 behind the chair and in the shop as strong as you possibly can, and some thoughts to head into 2019.

Can you believe it’s 2019 already, there’s like a year left in this decade? I remember when it was 2011 and we started this decade. I remember 2001 when we started the last decade heck, I remember 91, but we’re not going to go there. This decade went by quick. It’S been an exciting time in the hair business. It’S been an exciting time for jatai feather by the way, as we do head into the holidays. Go to the website.

J8 e aí dotnet on the web. Do some holiday shopping holiday specials. There are some specials on blades there’s some specials on shaving handles there’s some specials on the insulated finger, grippy thingies, which are perfect for flat iron folks and thermal curling, irons or other thermal tools. So there are some great holiday specials that are up there. Now. Please go to jatai dotnet on the web shop, the holiday specials, while you’re there, of course sign up for jatai academy, because that’s what we do.

We bring you an incredible amount of great education and information in your email box on a regular basis nearly daily. So, let’s talk it up. I’Ve got three segments or sections on my agenda for today and for those of you and I got to stop and drink along the way for those of you who have participated. Some of my other live broadcasts on my own blogs, and things like that. You know that now I begin educational programming and presentations with something from hundred thousand dollar haircutter.

My book was introduced this year in 2018. We’Re wrapping up the first full year of sales. One idea a day, every single day for 365 days a daily devotional to success in the business. So I start these broadcasts now by looking at today in the book. So let’s take a look at today and get ourselves on the theme and on the subject of building and growing our business with today’s thought and idea now, one idea a day every single day today is November 27th and it says here November 27th day 331 of The year, with just 34 days remaining in the year, almost a little more than a month, really a little more than a month day.

3. 31 November 27th leverage a local celebrity. Now I don’t read these ahead of time. I don’t prep for the show by looking ahead. I kind of make these a surprise for me and you so they’re relevant and exciting and important and everything I’m going to read you a little bit here. If you have the book read along with me, if you don’t have the book, you need to get a copy. The book, but leverage a local celebrity every town has a few local celebrities.

Can you leverage them for your business? It might be the mayor, it might be a local market newscaster on TV. It might be the big advertising local car dealer. Can you embrace these high-profile heads with high visibility haircuts as spokespeople for your business? It might take a few free haircuts to get them to do it. It might be worth much more than those few free haircuts you have to give them.

Can they tout you on social media? Can you use their likeness in a article montage of still images? You will not know unless you ask and here’s the important kicker that finishes off this idea, the smaller your market or town, the easier it is to leverage these powerful referral magnets. Now it’s important that I mentioned that be occasionally when they share ideas from the book. I have people telling me, I even you don’t understand, I’m not from the big city.

I even you don’t understand how it is in my little cow town and the answer is everything has advantages and everything has disadvantages. When I say I’m from a big city keep in mind, the big city’s got three barber shops in every block and you’re complaining that your towns, too small in a small town with this idea of leveraging a local celebrity, the largest car dealer in the Greater Chicago Metropolitan area where I live, is a guy named Bob Gorman.

I don’t know how many twenty thirty dealerships he owns in Chicago. If I wanted to cut his hair that maybe he’d send me a few clients, I probably can’t even talk to the guy. I probably can’t find him at a car dealer. I couldn’t hunt him down and find him and make a deal with him and negotiate with him. I don’t know if he’s still alive, even half the time. I see him on car commercials he’s a cartoon character.

So I don’t even know if I could get this guy, but if you live in some little town, one-stoplight town and know where America, the guy that owns your local Ford or Chevy dealer, you know him, your daddy knows him. He eats at the diner on Main Street. You see him there twice a week. He buys groceries at the grocery store that your sister-in-law’s husband owns. That’S just the way small-town America is.

If you live in small towns, accessing these local celebrities. Is that much easier? So there’s ways to do things in big cities. There’S ways to do things in small towns. Anyone anywhere in America can leverage these concepts. So that’s the hundred thousand dollar haircut or idea for today it’s leveraging local celebrities as spokespeople for your businesses. By the way, the book is on special, I’m going to run the special probably through Christmas, regular price $ 25 go to clipper guy calm, I even zoo, calm, either one same place: half price! The book is $ 25.

Every day, 1250. Now, through Christmas, go online. Get yourself a copy of the book all right, so you’ve come to rely on jatai Academy and you’ve come to rely on me for powerful information. You can use to prove your business every single day. Let’S talk about wrap it up the year with strength and enthusiasm and big success. The hundred thousand dollar hair cutter program breaks down to eight thousand three hundred and thirty three dollars per month.

That means, if you’re on track for hundred thousand dollar hair cutter you’re doing 8333 a month every month. That means for December. You got a big number to hit. You got 8333 timeout footnote, keep in mind. That number is your net. That means, if you’re a fifty percent commission stylist, you got to do double that number. That means, if you’re a booth renter you got to do that much money, plus your taxes, plus your rent and expenses.

So that’s just a net number. That’S to net an income of a hundred thousand dollars. We all know if you want to take home $ 100,000, you have to earn more than that, but to keep things level and understood. 8333. Is your monthly number and here’s your weekly number 200. Eighty three dollars in net after you’ve paid your booth, rent or after you’ve, half commission. If that’s half your number you’re looking for 4166 is double that number.

If you’re a fifty percent commission stylist so know that that’s what you need to do to make that happen. Those may feel, let me just write per week. Those may feel like big numbers and they are big numbers, but they are credible numbers and they’re doable numbers. You know somebody asked me on social media the other day we didn’t some questions, see s small town. I just started with the captain at the Sheriff’s Office.

Growing clientele is that, is it Tasha yeah? I can’t I can’t pronounce my own name, no Tasha. You were absolutely right. The sheriff yeah hey, look you’re going to be driving too fast through town blowing off that one stoplight in the middle of town. You better know the sheriff, not a bad plan. I like it a lot. Okay, instagrams yeah. There are some gittel, definitely agree there. Hey Zane buddy good to see you here.

My hair is hot today. Thank you very much and where can I grow in my air Miguel nice to see you buddy good, to see some folks and friends to live in here? Ah jhil, ah nice, to see you Vanessa Vanessa is here. Of course, vanessa is here she’s, always here, alright anyways back to what we were talking about. What were we talking about? Oh we’re, talking about hitting big numbers, and these numbers are doable.

Somebody asked me is social media. The other day when I Kato my book is called $ 100,000 haircutter, they said, hey Ivan, is hundred thousand the goal and the answer is not necessarily if you earn twenty four thousand dollars last year or you’re on track to earn twenty four thousand dollars this year. No hundred thousand is not the goal: let’s not get unrealistic if you earn twenty four thousand and 2018 you’re.

2019 goes 48. Double your money. If you’re earned 48. Let’S talk about a hundred yeah, that’s a credible number, but one of the important things in goal-setting is that goals need to be what they call smart, SMA, arty and smart goals need to be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound SMA arty. If you haven’t heard the SMART goal concept in the past, I want to invite you to go online.

Go to google and type in SMART goals. You’Ll find tons of articles there’s tons of books on smart goal-setting and perhaps that’s even a great subject for another one of these programs sometime. What is a SMART goal? I know I did a program on that on my team page on Facebook once on setting SMART goals, we explain that whole system, so perhaps that’s something for a good conversation. Talking like this drives me out.

I’M sorry, I got ta keep drinking so hundreds, not necessarily the big goal, but the goal is more than what we had last year. These are the numbers that reflect hundreds, so the question really then becomes okay Ivan if meting 2083 a week or netting 8033 for a month is what we’re shooting for how in the world are we supposed to get there and the answer is I’ve got my top Five tips, everybody who knows me knows I love top five tips, keeps it simple, gives you something to focus in and hone in on, and I want to give you five and I want to tell you two one, two, three, four five thank you you’re welcome.

The phone is facing the proper direction so that you can read these this week. I want to give you these top five tips, and I believe that if you focus your efforts on these five things in the month of December, you can finish with the best month. You’Ve had all year, you know we get the bonus bump and the benefit of December being a very very strong month in barber shops and hair salons, hey how about a shout out! Anybody here do anything in your shop for Small Business Saturday.

You know we had Black Friday yesterday was Cyber Monday in between. There was Small Business Saturday and I’ve said publicly. I don’t think, there’s a better holiday that has been more custom created for you and me, and the beauty and barber industry than Small Business Saturday, small. But we are small businesses, even in the case of some of the franchises out there they’re locally owned by someone as a small business.

One family that owns three sippy cups, he’s a small business in your town, even if he’s a major international franchise chain. So I think getting a haircut on Small Business Saturday is something everyone should do to support a local hair cutter. So tell me anybody comment or chime in if you had some success with Small Business Saturday, but you know what today is anybody know what is today? I’M not going to tell you yet somebody’s going to be googling it around.

While I’m talking Black Friday smile Business Saturday, cyber monday, we have catch your breath Sunday, that’s not really a thing, but in between all this hecticness and then Tuesday. What is Tuesday? Who knows what Tuesday is? I got a gift for somebody if they chime in with Tuesday rain Rita, is here my wife’s waving her hand like she knows and I’m looking for a comment. Somebody tell me what is Tuesday after Cyber Monday drum roll? Where are you guys nobody’s got Google? There must be a delay.

The silence is killing me I’ll drink for a moment. There’S a delay all right, I’m going to give you your five somebody will chime in with it. I got a free gift for the person that comes up with it first, but according to the delay, it’s already there. I just can’t see it yet all right. Here’S how we’re going to maximize December we’ve got extra traffic. If you live in Florida. I got friends in Florida in our business who like to whine and complain that, when the snowbirds are gone, business in Florida is terrible.

I believe business in Florida can be good all year long, but no excuse now. The snowbirds are all in Florida. People are coming in for the holidays. They want to look good for holiday parties, got ta, get your hair cut. If you’re going to dinner at Grandma’s house, we got all these reasons. Why we’re going to be in the shop and why we’re getting our hair cut? All right, they’re comments coming through on where you’re seeing it I’m not seeing comments coming through so either.

This thing is delayed, real slow or jammed up, but we’re busy. Let’S make the most the portion of this. The five tips here about. How do we make the most of the opportunity that is December traffic to finish the Year? Strong number one add on sales. What we all know is upselling. This is where we hone in or focus on what we call average ticket people are coming in if you’re in a barber shop and you’re doing $ 20 haircuts and everybody that walks in $ 20 haircut out $ 20 haircut out, your average ticket is $ 20 Haircut, zero upselling you’re, getting the same amount of money from everybody: you’re, not getting french toast day Lidia.

No, it’s not french toast day, but I love that you tried. Oh, my god, that’s hysterical! Where did you even get that? Okay, it might be like national french toast day. Actually, my wife made french toast yesterday for lunch. That’S so funny Travel day, hey! No! It’S not travel daddy. I don’t believe you guys. Don’T know this. Oh my god, all right add on sales. Try to sell somebody something else. If a guy comes in for a haircut, hey sell him, a beard trim tie it in November.

He grew that beard. Let’S get rid of that thing either shape it up or ship it out, throw in a shave, ding ding, ding, feather razors to tie shave. What about the healthy luxury shave sets? Oh that’s another item on here. Oh look at that number. Two take-home suggest and recommend professional take-home haircare product these both fit in that upsell category. These are both about driving average ticket asking everybody who sits in your chair to give somebody Google it for me, so we can find out what today is for Tuesday.

Even if you don’t know just don’t tell us, you googled it add-on sales, take home sales driving average ticket it’s about taking and making the most of the opportunity that is December business. Make it a goal for yourself. Look at your haircut price – and this is kind of for my barber folk out there look at your haircut price and again, let’s say your haircuts $ 20. Tell yourself: I want to hit an average ticket for the month of December of $ 24.

That means instance if a bottle of gel is $ 8. Every other guy’s got to buy gel when we divide that eight out amongst two people, it’s four hours additional ticket, but something to drive your average ticket up to squeeze the greatest amount of money. Out of this heavy traffic December that you possibly can next on the list number three asking for referrals every client every time, two business cards, you guys know I talk about this all the time.

Thank you for the opportunity to cut your hair. I appreciate your business if I gave you two cards. Would you send me two friends? Those are my big three sentences that you know, but when we’ve got the bump in trafficked travel day, okay, I’m just waiting when we got the bump in traffic. That is December. Let’S use that bump in traffic to leverage more referrals, ask every single customer in the month of December.

If I gave you two cards, would you send me two friends and hand them to business cards? Make sure today go online when this jatai program is finished, go online and order a box of extra business cards, so you have them. They only take 2-3 days. You’Ll have them by Tuesday that’ll be December 4 really the beginning of the month. The first is Saturday you’d be busy in the shop that day you’ve got a few cards to get you through Saturday, Bing Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Rhea, Rita my man.

Finally, somebody comes in givingtuesday. That’S right with all of this gim me with all this me me me me me, with all this buy buy, buy, buy, buy with all this. I deserve a deal that we’ve been buried in for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, giving Tuesday that’s what it’s called giving Tuesday is all about charitable donation charitable contribution and giving to others it’s kind of that.

Little salve. We need that band-aid. We need to kind of get us back to healthy. After all that me me me gim me, greedy stuff, that made up those okay. Let’S you weren’t, really buying anything for you. Nobody bought anything for themselves on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. It was all gifts for others. I understand, I know how it was, but yeah giving Tuesday is what the name of this holiday is and it’s about giving to others based on the wealth and and all the blessings and all of what we have and we enjoy and and the gifts we have, That we can give to some others.

So that’s what giving Tuesday is all about, so in the spirit of giving let’s take more money from our customers so that we can give other people a Merry Christmas. Add on sales, take home products asking for referrals. That’S three of the top five: are you ready for for number four on the list? Rebooking and again mr. Broken record: here we have the traffic. During the month of December, we’ve got the heads in the shop.

Let’S make sure we’re rebooking them. Let’S make sure we’re inviting them back we’re telling them when we’re telling them how long till they get back we’re getting him back on the appointment book today before they leave to ensure that we don’t have that January slump. Are you going to hit me here hit me there with a refill, so many in our business so frequently complain about the January slump when things get quiet after the busy holiday season? Well, there’s two ways: we prevent the January slump and that’s by leveraging the December traffic rebooking and bounce back bounce back is some type of deal, some type of special, some type of opportunity that encourages the January and February visits when we otherwise might be quiet.

What are we going to do to get them back in so when we’ve got them in December to finish the Year Strong, we’re going to focus on add-on sales, an average ticket drier parts of America. Here we just had our first snowstorm. The heat is on, our skin is drying out, our hair is drying out. Our face is drying out. Jatai hell, luxury shave set, there’s a moisturizer in there for your skin, and we’ve got the beard.

Softener there’s two items in that set ideally suited for this type of conversation with your customers, and I know you have other products and other conditioning treatments and things what etosha say to a client who had a bad cut. Also this you know she, my deputies are also giving me just go for her awesome Tasha. You love your cops. I love it you’re all over it. That’S great Taco, Tuesday, Miguel, that’s coming from a guy in Texas, with a name of Miguel, so yeah, of course, that we have taco tech Tuesday in Chicago too, but that’s another good reason to celebrate Tuesdays he’s Taco Tuesday um.

Now I got derailed. What was I talking about? Anyways, we’re leveraging December and on say, Oh conditioning treatments, that’s right, dry, air winter, the heat in the house and the heat in the car. What a great time for moisturizing conditioners, moisturizing balms for hair facial treatments that involve moisturizing the skin. I did mention the two jatai products that are keenly focused on satisfying those needs for customers.

We have so many opportunities to have these conversations services in the salon and their take home products, soliciting referrals to grow off of December we’re setting ourselves up for a successful nineteen rebooking to get these people back after the first of the year. Again now we’re using december to leverage nineteen and, of course, both facts. Bounce backs would be things like a coupon in december to redeemed in january or february, or a BOGO for december.

You know bring a buddy in for a haircut. You pay for your haircut, your buddy’s haircut is free, I mean who knows, there’s all kinds of things we can do in that regard. Sell the shave as a 2-pack special price on the shave get a shave in December. You get a free shave in January. I don’t know there’s so many different ways. We can do this to tie it in and by the way it fits that twofer buy one in December, get it in January.

If they don’t redeem it in January, they don’t get it. Don’T let them wait till March to come in and have it set some rules stick to your rules that are bide by the power sieze for the promotions and the specials that you run. So these are my top five tips for leveraging the heck out of what will be a very, very strong and very, very successful December. Does anybody want to chime in anybody, got any ideas, comments or thoughts on things that you think you will be doing or that you’d like to suggest to others? Part of going live on.

These programs is really getting and soliciting input and participation from the community because, as I say in my live programs that I know you all know, I believe we are smarter than me right. I only know so much and I don’t know what I don’t know and there’s a lot of talented people, a lot of smart people, a lot of intelligent people in the business that know a lot more then we can all benefit from.

So if anybody’s got anything chime in throw it up, there we’ll be sharing it right off the comments. Next up, let’s talk about 19. It’S one thing to finish: a team strong, it’s something else to go into 19 blazing so for 2019. There’S a couple of things I want to talk about. I want to talk about number one, a promo calendar. You know, there’s a funny joke in my community about a mom Lydia Hobbs discount for bringing in Toys for Tots there’s a good way to put some giving on the front of it.

I love it. You know, I don’t believe in discounts and by the way I heard about a great discount. I want to share with you guys I’m excited about this. You know I don’t believe in discounts what did Marty Marcus, say: free hot towel on all new clients in December. You know what it’s like 22 degrees outside in Chicago and a warm towel on your face, laying back in the chair yeah. I can feel it thinking about it talking about it.

I just want to go. Do that what a great idea you know I don’t like discounts. However, I’ve always opened to and willing Wallis buddy nice to see a joy in our group tonight, Atlanta, Georgia how’s it going down there um. You know I don’t like discounts. I like the idea of tying something into Toys for Tots, maybe a free service, maybe a free, take-home product. Give me a gift. I give you a gift, I’ll trade, you a toy for a bottle.

I like doing that. You can get small sizes of things. You can even be generous and give away full sizes. I just don’t like to discount the haircut. It really hurts my heart. It hurts my soul. It makes me bleed internally when I hear people undermining the value of the haircut. I think there’s so many many good ways to be promotionally, creative and to be business aggressive without discounting the haircut or undermining the price integrity of the haircut.

I believe haircuts should even be full price of free, full price are free. Now, in that vein, I did read about this this week. I saw it and I want to share it because the idea popped into my head and that’s just the way my head works. I have said, I don’t believe in senior discounts and I sometimes get in trouble. White talked about this and I share information like the fact that 85 percent of the wealth in America is in the possession of individuals over the age of 65.

And why are we giving away senior discounts because seniors have had longer to gather the money, so they don’t need the discounts and yeah. I know there are seniors in America on fixed incomes and times are tough and things are hard and yeah yeah. I get it, but I don’t like senior discounts. I just don’t like it at all, and I saw this thing the other day where it said hey and I don’t like kid discounts either.

That’S the other side of the spectrum. I think we do a haircut for a price. It is not easier to do a haircut or quicker to do a haircut in miniature on a hyperactive kid who just ate half a box of Captain Crunch. I just don’t think that’s a reason for a discount, so I don’t like kid discounts. I don’t like senior discounts, but I did see somebody put up on the internet, their price menu where they had their regular price, whatever their haircut was, and then they had a senior discount, which I don’t endorse and I don’t agree with – and it was like 65 And over, like let’s say I don’t remember what the numbers were, but haircut was $ 20 seniors, 65 and over was $ 18 and it said 100 and over free, regular price was 20 seniors were 18, and if you were a hundred years or older, your haircuts Were free – and I love that I thought when I have a shop again and I don’t currently own a shop, but I will down the road I’m doing that if you’re a hundred years old, I cut you for nothing.

How many air cuts you going to get your the year a hundred that year? Why three, maybe four, how many years are you going to do this? You think? How long are you going to live you’re not going to take that many haircuts away from me, and if you got to be a hundred, I cut you for nothing. You know what, if you’re a hundred years old, I want to talk to you. I want to listen to you. I want to ask you to tell me stories about what you know and what you’ve done and who you are and what your life’s been all about.

No discounts, Ellie, I love Ellie. I don’t even know who Ellie is, and I love Ellie no discounts. I agree. Wallace hundred percent yeah, I’m right there with you, um yeah. If you’re a hundred years old, not cut you for nothing. I just want to ask you questions about the good old days and I want you to tell me stories about the crazy stuff you got away with when you were a kid, it’s going to be worth cutting your hair, so I love that seniors hundred and over Free try to take advantage of me.

I bet you can’t and by the way, at that point, how much hair you got you know didn’t know. How did you roll guys coming in with a thick ponytail down to here? It’S usually taper them up quick and it’s easy. So I love them and I’m happy to do it and you can send me all your herd of your old great-grandfather’s I’ll cut them for nothing, I’m happy to do it all right. Let’S get to 2019 number one promo calendar, so I started to say: there’s a joke in my community and it talks about a woman talking to her mother.

The woman is an adult and mother is really the grandmother and the woman has a child who’s. Twelve and a half years old – and this happens to be a Jewish family and the woman is having an argument in the fight with her mother about plans for the 12 and a half year olds, upcoming Bar Mitzvah and they’re. Fighting and they’re arguing about the plans for the Bar Mitzvah and the timing and the details and all this other stuff and finally getting tired of the conversation and not wanting to have the Congress anymore.

The grandmother turns to the mother and says: look we’re not going to argue about this anymore. You had plenty of time to plan for it you’ve known about this Bar Mitzvah for 13 years. That’S the punchline! The point is it’s not a surprise. You know that it’s going to happen. Well, your promo calendar. You know that in 2019 we’re going to have a Father’s Day. I promise you it’s in June. You know that in May there’s going to be a bunch of graduations.

You know that in August ish it’s back-to-school time. I got a pretty good idea that we’re going to have Easter sometime in oh, I don’t know April and I’m pretty sure next year Christmas going to be in December and before we have Christmas next year in November. What do you think Thanksgiving yeah, there’s a good chance of that? These things are not a surprise, and my point is: do not treat these business opportunities next year, Thursday, Thanksgiving two days later Saturday is going to be Small Business Saturday again, if Small Business Saturday snuck up on you in 2018, and you hadn’t prepared and you didn’t Plan and you weren’t ready and you didn’t have a promotion – do not have that excuse in 2019, let’s plan ahead 20 % off for police fire and military.

I like the idea of finding ways to reward our first responders. I don’t like to do it in the form of a discount. I just don’t think it makes good sense and in our shop you know what I think, as many as a third of our customers are police fire, municipal workers, postal workers. We got half the government in our shop most the time and any good day. Half the guys that are shopper armed because they got a badge and they got a gun.

So I don’t necessarily know that I want to go that hard on the police and fire traffic Jared. Welcome. What’S the best for veterans, those in service Lydia? Again, I don’t like discounts. I like added value, maybe um, you know cop cuts, they get a free bottle of hair gel or they get a free bottle of shampoo or shave service or there’s lots of things. Maybe a punch card, I love punch cards by10 hair.

Let’S get one free, please understand, buy 10 get one free is not a discount. Yes, it is 10 % off bottom-line net net net, but all 10 haircuts, our regular price and one haircut is free. That is not the same as a 10 % discount, so I love I did one once I did a cop cut punch card where it literally said, had a little police shield badge on. It said cop cuts and it was for police and fire and military and first responders and vets, and things like that um.

But it was not a discount and I think that’s we’re not splitting hairs here, literally or figuratively, but I think it’s important when it comes to talking about how we negotiate that business so promo calendar, it’s the idea go through the calendar now go through the calendar. Now and find one thing every month that you’re going to use as your promotional piece for that month, maybe Valentine’s Day, is a couple’s special, maybe instead of couples because you’re a barbershop, and you only do guys, maybe for Valentine’s Day, it’s dad and kid.

You know if you’re a regular hair salon and you’ve got a broader audience. Then maybe it’s it’s daddy-daughter night lots of things you can do for March st. Patrick’s Day. There’S things you can do there. There’S every month of the year has a holiday and event an opportunity and a special but plot your promotional calendar build your promotions in now, so that through the year, you can just execute nothing sneaks up on you by surprise and by the way, when we’re talking About the promotional calendar I want to add number two on here is I, on July I enjoy many of you know.

I’Ve talked for a long time about it. July 1, raise your hair cut prices Day in the USA July. What is that target date? We’Re haircuts go up, you were in a price increase. You deserve a price increase, it’s time to add to the price I Anjali. It is not too early to be thinking. How much does that price increase going to be, and, most importantly, what are you going to do to justify it and number two on this list or number three? Rather, when we talk about, I on July is add value.

What are you going to do between now? Busy December and July 1 raise your hair cut prices day in the USA to justify that price increase. What are you going to do? How are you going to change your environment, your experience, your service delivery, what you do so that when you raise your price, nobody objects because they feel what you’re doing is a value so again playing with the numbers. If you’re twenty bucks July 1 you’re going up 10 % you’re going to be 22, what are you doing so that 22 doesn’t look smell or feel like a price increase 22 feels like hey you’re, not even yet charging what you’re worth and 22 is a bargain.

I was happy to pay 20, I’m thrilled to pay 22 cuz when I get feels like 25, 28 or 34. That’S the real challenge for you. What’S the cap for I what’s the cap for I on July, Tasha, explain to me what you mean: I’m not understanding that question. If you mean by that, how high do you raise the price I am July, 1, adding value the rule is 10 %. You go up 10 %, that’s my standard formula and by the way, if you want a lot of detailed information, I have my razor prices program.

It is available as a text document it’s available as an audio book, soon to be available at a article series as well, but I do have it. In a couple of formulas. A couple of resources go to my website: eivin’s ooh, calm. The program is available there or go to the website also and use the talk to me button. There’S a button on my website says talk to me. Click on it. You talk to me you’re, going to sending me an email, I’ll chat back directly with you happy to help you.

If you’ve got some questions about that stuff Jared, I think she’s asking forever. I don’t know what does that mean Jared hi, I’m July price should be going up every year in July every year in July. If that’s what you mean? It’S, not a one-time deal. Hey. Do you get a July every year? Of course we do just like Christmas. In December we get July July, the price goes up Jared. Will you out price yourself? God bless.

I hope you do Jared, that’s a beautiful question and I thank you very much for asking and I want to make sure you understand how this works. In theory, if you raise your prices, 10 % in theory, if you are lucky, if you are blessed, if the clouds part and the beam of light, shines down, oh if the angels sing and if God smiles down upon you from heaven above in theory, if you Raise your prices, 10 %, 10 % of your customers – will quit you that’s right.

In theory, 10 % of your customers will quit you now good news, bad news, the bad news is it’s not going to happen. They’Re not going to quit. You you’re going to raise your prices: 10 %. You are good and people like you and they’ve been coming to you and they’ve been happy and you raise your prices. 10 % they’re not going to quit. You you’re going to be disappointed. You were hoping that people quit you in a perfect scenario: 10 % of your customers would quit you at a 10 % price increase and what happens then is you’ve.

Got air in your book and you’ve got room for referrals from your top 90 % birds of a feather flock together top 90 % customers have top 90 % friends, quitters have friends who would have been quitters and you don’t want them, and the theory is if You raise your prices, 10 % you’re, making the same amount of money with air in your book because 10 percent of your customers quit you, you double down on what got you to the dance you take good care of people like you always have you do what You’Ve been doing to be good and you solicit referrals, referrals from that top 90 % of your customers, and you just keep building your business that way, you’ll, never price yourself out of business and that’s where we get to 3.

We get to adding value which is so important, I’m not telling you just to jack the price for the sake of jacking the price, I’m telling you that you earn a price increase by taking good care of people by building business by finding ways to add value And then you not only have earned it, but you deserve it. You’Re entitled to it and you’ll receive no resistance. When you raise your price – and you know – that’s just the beauty and that’s just the magic of how this works with regards to price increases in our business and that’s why I’m so passionate about this subject that I’m so glad that we can have some of this Conversation here, you’ve got to be adding that value you’ve got to be making that worthwhile experience for those customers.

You know I had a conversation the other day, and it relates to this about the fact that I was talking to beauty school in barber school students about the fact that today, the average and the standard is very high for all practical purposes. Everyone can cut hair and everyone can cut hair at an acceptable level or at a passable level. Yes, there are some hair cutters that are better than others. Yes, there are some hair cutters that are not as good.

You will be perceived as more of a professional. Couldn’T agree more Tim absolutely, should you give notice of price increase Lydia? No? No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No price increase notice! This is a it’s like a pet peeve of mine. We do this. We put that little piece of paper on the mirror. It says dear clients, as of July 1, my price is going to be going up and then we start making excuses. The rent went up, the lights go up, the heat’s goes up, it’s been 2 years since I had a price increase, we start whining and we start begging and we start justifying, and we start explaining, and you know what else we do.

It kills me. We apologize. Do not apologize. Sorry, my but you’re, not sorry! Your prices going up you’re excited that your prices going up, you’re, happy that your prices are going. You deserve a new price. We need 180 degree shift on the mindset and the answer is: go to a sporting goods store, go, get a t-shirt with a big Nike swoosh on the front. Just do it, you know: when does the milk go up at the grocery store? Do the answer that question: when do they raise the price of the milk at the grocery stores? Anybody know you ever seen it you haven’t seen it.

You know why you don’t see it. Do you know when they raise the price of the milk at the grocery store? They do it at 2:30. In the morning when you’re home sleeping yeah that the guy on the nightspot crew, he goes up to the dairy case and he pops off that little price ticket and he puts a new little price ticket up there and he changes the price of the milk. When you’re asleep, what about the gas station, when do they change the price of gasoline? Now, lately gasoline has been going down.

So it’s not really relevant to this conversation, but I talk about this all the time you know you can be at the gas station. You got the pump in the car and you’re filling the tank and the guys out on the corner with the big stick, changing the numbers, lowering the price of the gas. They don’t even have the decency to wait till 2:30 in the morning when you fall asleep. They’Re raising the price of the gasoline in the middle of your tank, full, you don’t even know what you’re paying they don’t care.

Why do we do this? We don’t that’s the answer. We just raise our prices, you don’t no notice, no permission! No asking! No telling! No apologizing, no excuses, Nike just do it raise the price you deserve, it you’re good and people like you and especially, if you’re tuned in to this program tonight. If you rely on jatai academy for education and information, you’re going the extra mile and making the effort to improve yourself, your skills, your knowledge and your business, do you deserve a price increase? You deserve a price increase just for reading this article, but find ways to add value with an eye on July.

That’S when we want to go up start with your promotional calendar to build a powerful year. Promotions have an eye on July for a price increase find ways throughout the year to add value. Let me look at my agenda and see what else I had for you here. That’S what I got for ticking off July now throughout the year. We’Re going to talk a lot I will be back here, live on Facebook with jatai on many more occasions, whether we’re sharing technical or whether we’re sharing business information.

Like this, you know my website. Lots of other places to find me remember. The special on the book is running now through Christmas, half price $ 25 down to 1250 be $ 100,000 haircutter yeah. I got plenty of inventory and I’m happy to have you have that book and have that deal. Jatai dotnet on the web is where you go to sign up for our emails to sign up for our academy, go to jannat for our specials for the month of November and December for our holiday specials and things we’ve got blades on sale.

We’Ve got handles on sale, we’ve got great things for you. There does anybody have any final questions or comments. I got one here. What are your thoughts on Black Friday sale? Did I discount products still not as successful as I thought and, and they just posted the link for jatai for feather in the comments here Vanessa, just posted the link JTA, I dotnet that’s what I said it was so I’m glad I got it right.

That would be embarrassing, wouldn’t it um, you know, I think it Black Friday is something that’s originally been thought of as the big-box retailers, but I think we can get our piece of it. I think we need to stretch it, though an answer to Tasha’s question. I think we can start talking about Black Friday early. I think you probably noticed the Black Friday ads were on TV and radio early in the week Monday, Tuesday, Sunday even beforehand.

So I think it’s not just what we sell on Friday. If you look at my website, my Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday deels all started Thursday and they ran Thursday, Friday Saturday, Sunday Monday and I’m extending a few of them, not all of them. I’Ve killed a few of them, but I am extending as an example of the book all the way through Christmas, because it was the big hit for my Black Friday promotion and it’s something that I think is impactful for everybody.

So that’s why I’m doing it, but it is to your question, though I think there is a lot of good opportunity to use a leverage through that promotional calendar all of these kind of things. So, as always, we’re wrapping up here we’re coming close to 50 minutes. I always end the way I start, which is by saying thank you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to present here. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have a little bit of your time to come into your phone into your house into your living room into your computer.

To share some of these great things. Thank you to all of our friends that you tie for providing me you and us this platform for not only me to share, but for us to exchange in this way and in the spirit of the holidays and the spirit of giving Tuesday and all that good Stuff, I wish you a very safe, a very warm, a very happy, very healthy holiday season. We normally do these towards the end of the month, which is going to put the next one of these a little close to Christmas.

So I think jatai and I will probably find a way to do next month, a little early. If there’s something you’d like to see or hear from me in terms of content, use the comments here, Jared you’re welcome. Tasha. Thank you Tim thank you, but if there’s something you’d like specifically in content for a program, whether it’s presented by me or any one of the other educators that you’re ty likes to feature we’re, always open to and happy to have that feedback.

I know the folks at the office at jatai are always listening, always paying attention to your comments and are very interested in continuing to support you and the great business that you do every day. So, on behalf of jatai and myself and my family and everybody else to your family, have a warm, wonderful and happy holiday season. We’Ll see you again here: j8 e aí dotnet on the web, and here at our program see you here see me there clipper guy comm as well, have a great day bye, bye,

The Basics of Starting and Managing a Business What You Need To Learn

There are many people who are in this hurry. I want to make money, I’m going to do this. I want to knock it out and they don’t learn the basics and I’m going to lay em out step by step. These will work for it any business, because the basics of business don’t change they just don’t they really don’t hey. This is Glendon Cameron with hustlers kungfu, the launch pad for baby hustlers, if you’re looking to make some extra money.

If you’re looking to get your hustle on, if you’re looking to build a business, you’re in the right place be sure to subscribe, because there’s a lot of great information here for you and who knows, if you are that super hustler, you can actually start making some Money today, let’s just jump into this wonderful content. Today I got a few things I want to share with you, so many people are deluded that they have no experience.

No resources, no connections, nothing and that they’re going to start creating significant money. You could create some money, let’s be clear about that. You can go on eBay, you can do Craigslist, you could do Amazon. You can make some money. You can get an app. You can make some money, you could do YouTube and make some money, but can you make enough money to live on and I’m going to talk about why that doesn’t work out for many people and it’s not hard to understand once you know what’s going on, but Many folks have this thirst of wanting to create these businesses and not learn the basics, not really pay attention to the things that you got to do alright, so just checking make sure there’s no big ol echo.

So the first basic is: let’s just you really that one we’re going to talk about just selling a product. You have a product or service you’re in the sales business, and many people will do things like. I have this LLC course that I’m going to get into and for those of you who are interested in the stuff stay toward the end, because I’ll break that down that if they can create an LLC with no assets, no business, no money that somehow they’re a Businessperson and you, you have a lot of this stuff going on on Facebook, that you went ahead and you create the business card now of a sudden, you’re, a business person until you start making some money until you get things rolling.

You may look like a business person, but you’re not, and I know that’s really harmful and that’s very hurtful and many people don’t like that. But what’s going to happen is if you’re calling yourself a business person when you’re not making any money, you don’t have any employees, you know what your product is. You don’t know any of this stuff that you tend to pollute the pool of business people and then the real business people are like.

I don’t want to hang out with them, but because so many people are so sensitive that they will not deal with the truth. That, obviously, you’ve got these conversations about who’s, an entrepreneur, who’s, not an entrepreneur and it’s creating a really unfocused conversation. You’Ve got people fighting over who’s, real who’s, not and they’re, not talking about how to really make money. So the first basic is, you have to have a product, you have to have a service and you have to start making some money until you do those things.

It is just mental masturbation you’re just playing around and there’s some people who have been playing around for years. They’Ve been talking about you know: they’ve got their business card, they’ve got these things and they’re like I’m a business person, and then they will fight you tooth-and-nail. If you say they’re, not while they’re, not working that hard to grow their business, now, second thing cash flow until you get some cash flow, and this is one of the reasons that I’ve talked a lot of smack about a lot of these.

While I didn’t go the periscope, I didn’t go the meerkat, I didn’t start doing stuff with vine. Those things I think periscope is still around. I don’t know about meerkat, I know vines gone and some other apps. They are wonderful. They they build these big communities really quickly, but they don’t make any money and the whole thing is create this business to get acquired. So if you want to be a successful businessperson hear me and hear me now: focus on making some money and developing cash flow.

Forget about the logo forget about the app forget about hanging out with this thing forget about clickfunnels, forget about that stuff focus on making some money, not a lot of money. But can I put this thing out my product, my service, whatever it is, and can I make money now we’re going to get to direct response if you are and I’m explaining what that is in a minute, if you are putting out a product – and you say, Look, I’ve got hey, we’ve got visual aids.

I got this iPhone right and I’m going to put this out. It didn’t focus, but I’m going to put this iPhone out the most sell it and I’m going to ask you for 60 bucks, that’s called making a direct offer. It can either be through a Craigslist posting, an ebay posting. Putting on your Facebook page. You can send that out in the DMS you like, I want 60 bucks for this. That’S making the offer and what response you get is direct response.

That is the fastest is the easiest way for someone with no experience to make money fastest way. If you go to your grandmother’s house or granddad’s house and like hey I’ll, clean out your basement, if you let me have everything down there, that you really don’t want, and you just start going to Grandma granddad’s house every day, putting that stuff up selling it every Day, five days a week, you make some money.

Direct response is the best way to go. When you have no experience, you don’t know what you’re doing you don’t know who you are, and you don’t know what your passion is best way to go pick some and just start making offers and collecting money. And I think that is one of the things that many people don’t want to do because it’s your selling, I don’t want to be a salesperson. I just want to put it out.

I don’t want to talk to anybody and if they want it, that’s cool and if they don’t want it, that’s cool and was that how you got your husband, a wife. Was that how you got that job promotion? Is that how you bought your car? Is that how you got your house? Is that how you graduated from college it that whole I’m just going to sit back and be real cool and chill and let it come to me know billion dollar fortune has ever been that built.

That way. No new nation has ever been established that way. No really substantial relationship has been established. That way, nothing has been established that way. So why do you think you’re going to make a lot of money by trying to do that seriously? Why why? Where does this come from? I’M just confused because you can get some responses, but you do not get the fast and vigorous response that you would get if you would just stop playing the games.

That’S all I’m saying I mean seriously. That is really what I’m saying, because if you want to turn up the heat on your income, you must be very direct. You must have intent, you must be actively going after it. There is no namby-pamby just waiting and seeing what’s going to happen stuff, it is intentional. It is vigorous and you’re really putting in a lot of effort to turn on the heat of your income.

It just doesn’t happen and that’s how many people are building businesses today. Kind of like I’m just going to put this out there, I’m going to build a lot of content and I’ll talk about content marketing in another article, because that is a whole different animal, because until you get the direct response thing down, your content, marketing is going To be whack, so you can’t content mark it until you know your customer until you know what’s wrong with your product, and you know what’s right with your product, you can even do good content until you get that direct Spahn stuff down.

So while I am over here, I’m going to be seeing, what’s going on, say hello to the folks in the chatroom. This is a live stream. What’S up Raquel, what’s up Monica, what’s up Adam lamode, what’s up gothic angel kennels when you get your in and number let’s, let’s do this, because this is one of the things well address: gothic angel kennels! Are you making money? Do you have cash flow until you start making money till you figure out your products? You get some direct response stuff going forget about that.

That’S easy! You could set up an LLC. You get your a ein in an hour. If you know what you’re doing. That’S not the hard part. What’S up Roosevelt, what’s up David, it’s a Sony, rug, it collars! What’S up, this is very good advice. What’S up everyone, the Internet is a tool, only learn how the cell will found 8. You 100 % correct tiger shark. I wish I could stay for this, I’m going to let it render what’s up Pharaoh.

What were the steps you took to learn to build websites and online marketing? There’S too much noise out there? How can that make sense of that, and where do I start, I’m using WordPress and the host gator alone? Second, let me get rid of some stuff and I’m going to answer that question. Let me get back to here. Ok, I learned how to do this stuff that I’m telling you from selling junk the things that I’ve said in the beginning of the stream about direct response.

I’M going to walk you through the whole process. I used to sell office furniture then for the longest career. This actually had just about two years I’ll be doing this longer than I did the storage auction business. Every day I was in the marketplace. I was looking at what people were buying. I was looking would guess my competitors trying to get units for good prices and when you buy a storage unit I mean you, don’t know what you’re getting you have to learn how to research marketplaces very very quickly.

So how did I learn the skills to come on YouTube to set up a blog with no training in blogging, no training with YouTube, no training with any of this stuff, because I made a lot of mistakes. Is I had years and years of training of direct response marketing everyday? I was writing an ad for Craigslist. Every day I was selling something every day I was writing copy for ebay every day. I was writing copy for Amazon every day.

For years I was putting stuff out in the marketplace to sell it. So when I came to YouTube in the world of blogging, I did not come in with this I’m going to put this out and as people are going to come to it, I inherently knew that people were not going to read my blog if they had no Interest I inherited it was going to be very hard to get attention and inherently knew that I had to make creative and interesting articles for people to read it.

Many people don’t come in with that mindset and then, when these things don’t happen, they all butthurt and mad and saying everything’s a scam and nobody wants to help them. It is the foundation to making money is not there, so it isn’t about. WordPress is a tool. Shopify is a tool: YouTube is a tool. Facebook is a tool and you got somebody that could take this cell phone and start making money because they have making money skill sets.

Then you have someone who can have this office all of these computers and stuff and go out of business in a week because they have nutty skills. So what you need to do is to learn basic marketing, basic sales skills and then everything else will fall into place and it’s not it’s not simple. I don’t want to say it’s simple. I want to say that it’s doable so forget about WordPress. Think about this, and I think I will be able to show you this in a minute because I’m going to get rid of some stuff, but all right that one away, so that’s not going to work.

Let me put that in there I was getting how to get rid of too many things. I’M going to see. If I could show you some and I’m also going to go back to the chat room. What’S up deshaun, what’s up Ryan, what’s life is good trade miles well going on just entered the auto sales industry and not advise anyone to learn sales if they want to own their own business, it’s basically a business in a business with products that one tray miles Hold on hold on a second, it’s something else, I’m not to start doing.

I want you to do this. Tray from your you’ll have to do this to me from your YouTube message board. Send me your real name and address and your shirt size, and I will send you a hustle camp t-shirt because that’s one of the best comments I have seen for people who’ve got questions and stuff. You can go ahead and get to my talk to my assistant. Patty, there’s her email address and there’s her phone number.

If you got any questions because a lot of people try to get at me and the DMS and stuff tray I’ll be looking for your stuff, and I will send you a hustle camp t-shirt once again. Real name address – and you know, put your comment in the message and a shirt size, and I will hook you up because that that’s really it that’s the thing and I’ve said that several times, because if you’re doing direct sales, you have a business because you got To find the customer, you got to serve the customer having a commission sales job is some of the best starting having your own business type training.

There is without actually having the business because I would think when I saw the office furniture and I was a commissioned sales person, it’s if you don’t make any sales, you don’t need. That’S the business owner. If you don’t sell something, you don’t run your business correctly. You don’t eat, you, don’t have money, you don’t pay, your employees is so you have to be successful and you have to have results or the needle doesn’t move.

No money comes in every bad stuff starts to happen and that’s being a self-employed person or a business owner, and I think more for the self-employed person, because, if you’re a business owner, you feel systems and processes where you don’t have to be there and you can Leave your business and still get income, so a business owner is radically different than the self-employed person, because money still comes in whether they’re, active or not.

Most of us are self-employed because, if you’re a true business owner, you could go to Europe for a year and come back and your money’s fine and that’s that’s the real but great answer tre. I appreciate that Mary Holmes first time, reading learning the hustle can. I have a t-shirt to FEMA, no married, no married. No, let me let me explain something. Let me explain something to you. Trey gave what I call great content.

He gave a great answer. He gave something that was stupid and it’s rooted. In fact, he got the t-shirt because he gave a great answer: you’re not going to get a t-shirt. If you just want one and like I said I may just do one or two t-shirts per stream and Trey’s got the first one. So the comment has to be of substance. It has to be real because if you go out and talk to any business person, they’ll tell you being a commissioned.

Sales person is the best training for starting a business. Oh no Mary! You can’t have a shirt. What’S up creative Pig quality because Mary, you didn’t provide value, and this is a good lesson for Mary Trey provided value Trey, provided something that is anyone that can use that four years from now someone coming here to read this stream will still get value. So, congratulations right now we’re going to get down to I’m going to put this up here because I know some people will have questions and stuff, and this is the person that you direct your questions to now.

Another basic is to realize you are in sales. You have to realize that you are in sales. Many people don’t realize that they’re in sales they’re just kind of like I’m hustling man – you are a sales person say this silently I am a sales person. I have a product service, that’s going to make lots of people that I serve better, I’m going to save them. Time say the money I’m going to make them happy and give them comfort them and give them luxury.

You got come at it like that. Just I’m out here you know getting loading it that that’s just willfully insufficient, woefully insufficient. So another basic is you have to ask for the money. Now I had someone talking some smack daddy smack about my you know the fact. For some reason, the fat cats LLC article is getting a lot of traction. Now they got a lot of new people coming in, and you know someone said something about me: raising the price of the course and I’ll put that out.

There notice, I didn’t say anything about raising the price of the course I’m in a new place, call it my foosh wing or what everyone got. My courses are for the people who need them, which means I don’t have to do a lot of hype. I’M going to put them out there they’re not going to have these super sexy names because they don’t have that so essentially, I’m rearranging hustle camp. If you want to be a member of hustle camp, which is probably going to take a year for you to go through it once we get it all set up, it’s going to give you these steps of one manager money correctly.

You got to manage your money correctly before you make more or you will mess that up and I’m not going to be kind. I’M not going to be gentle. I had a situation in hustle camp where someone said I was wrong and this is what I gave a very harsh answer because of me, your di, if you were in basic and the person challenged what I knew to be true and the thing is, there’s a Difference between studying the customer and being a customer, I was the customer and it sounds like a slight nuance, but it’s very very important and it was just about all of those sales transactions just sitting there.

Looking at customers dialoguing with customers over years and years and years right, so this person challenged what I knew to be true based upon they didn’t like my answer and the person. That’S for a refund got their money back and I win the group and, I said hey, you know we had this situation. Anyone else want to leave I’ll, give you the money back to day. She was only when they left because being successful, it’s not fast and it’s not easy and part of some of the things I was guilty for, and I apologize that for is.

I didn’t really to the nitty-gritty to details on how hard this really is and there’s a lot of people out there who have this false notion that they’re, somehow going to become very successful financially with little work, a little effort, and it’s just not going to happen. It’S just not going to happen, but you got people with like a so essentially hustle camp is going to give you the tools to be long-term.

Successful. It’S going to be hard! It’S going to take time you’re going to have to work, but you go through that experience. It’S going to serve you for the rest of your life. So how valuable is that and links below? If you want to be part of the experience or I’ll talk about something else in a minute, if you don’t have the money, do not put yourself in debt to get any of my courses, don’t do that what you do.

Is you read this blog? You look at some of the free content, the Craigslist stuff, to resell stuff. You go to Grandma, you go to granddad, you do that stuff and then you earn the money to buy hustle camp which, right now you see the four nine five nine. I move. The price up and you because if you earn the money to buy hustle camp, you mean that means it’s valuable to you and if it’s valuable to you, you will do better.

There’S someone that if I put it out at a low price and just sold it to a bunch of people just to get those gains and they get those dollars see, I want people to be successful and me taking you and blowing sweet nothings up your rear. It’S not going to help you be successful. It’S not going to help you get what you need to be, so I would rather take thirty forty fifty a hundred people through the experience and have people become really successful, the end to say like wow.

I got this big Facebook group or wow. I’Ve got all of this other stuff going on. That’S really not helping people, because I am NOT into participation trophies. I am NOT into trying to make you feel better about yourself. I am trying to give you information that will make you a better person, the more successful person. That’S just going to be hard. It’S just going to be hard, so that’s where I’m at and people just don’t really get into that.

So there’s a lot of free information here on the blog that you can earn the money to get in the hustle camp. Don’T put yourself in debt, don’t take out any loan. We’Ll do that stuff, and you know it’s just amazing and, like I said, if you got any questions, this is how you get your questions answered. I’M just saying ideal. Lady entertainment presents awesome, Trey Erica Williams. Thank you. I’Ve been getting cussed out lately, lamode, you sell every day your your kids, your wife, everyone being in control, resolving their problem, convincing them, Roosevelt Davis Clinton.

This is what they are. Selling people right now be more specific on that. Are they selling them the realness of being an entrepreneur? Are they selling them pipe dreams and what I call a laptop lifestyle, the N MinC my wife and I found out how to get internet access to rural America, and our success so far has been great. We’Re are forecasting 25k per month by December 2017, where the mouth has been the key of our success.

Well, okay, let’s go with that to the M and I NC these folks don’t have internet. You found out the way to deliver that Internet at the price. They’Re willing to pay you solve the problem, that’s business. You found a group of people, that’s a basic who have a problem: hey. They can’t get high-speed Internet we’re going to get it to them and boom the Inman. I wouldn’t be surprised. I wouldn’t be surprised at all because culturally, that isn’t how a lot of us think.

So you know once again. Congratulations! That’S wonderful! That that’s awesome, because there are many businesses out there that you don’t know about these folks are not online they’re, not showing you. Their bank accounts they’re, not showing you their checking accounts and you’ve got folks out there doing a million two million ten million 20 million 30 million a month, they’re not on YouTube of Facebook, because they know that if they put out there what they’re doing they’re going To get attached, they don’t, but that was some really really positive stuff, because the thing is to the in MinC: how hard was it for you? The bill, your internet service? How hard was that? Because the thing is this is what people need to know.

That’S what I’m doing the basics? This is what we’re we’re not getting into all of the top level strategies of you know. Upsells. You got people talking about. Upsells click funnels all this other stuff. They still haven’t made their first dollar online. They just want. I just want to have that knowledge Glenda. So when it’s written I’m ready, so I’m ready when it happens. No, it’s never going to happen because you’re not doing the things that make it happen that that’s just one of the craziest things that I see all over.

The Internet’s it’s amazing now here’s something else too. You must understand it’s going to be longer and much harder than you think it would be or should be. There are these false expectations and all right going back to the N. I see it took you one month and only six hours of research. Now I’m going to ask you another question: why? What is your background? Because one of the things that we do at hustle camp we get a little deeper, because I could be wrong.

You may have a technical background or not. What’S up Nigel, what’s up Roosevelt and say that this this is the reason for the changing in the messaging is to get people. Ah, let’s see that was interesting. It wasn’t supposed to be doing all that, but we will have to go here because I think my other cameras, I think the battery died, see I’m getting better at this stuff. I made preparations for using the other camera to transition to this one.

So we will just let that one go okay information system, so I’m not trying to be offensive. What’S that, what’s going on art, you’re a nerd you’re, a technical person, you’re logical, you know it’s either binary or not right. So you already had an emotional and mental environment in tech. Think about that because here’s another thing that happens with people who want to start businesses – and this is not to marginalize anyone working at McDonald’s or some other kind of job.

But if you’re working at McDonald’s, you’re working at Whole Foods you’re working at Starbucks – and you have no technical training, you have no special skills. You’Ll have no creative skills. It’S going to be real hard for you to build something, because not only do you have to build some, you have to learn how to build it, whereas you had someone like the MN, I see who already had a huge technical background.

There were some things when they were putting together this internet service. He didn’t have to ask cuz. He already knew – and this is one of the things like I may talk about it – some in the future and hustle cantwell on YouTube, because part of hustle camp is the foundation of wealth. Essentially, if you want your grandkids to be well off, you need to start now, because typically, the first generation gets something.

The second generation makes the money and then the third generation can ball out. That’S having expectations, that’s being somewhat generous toward the future, but a lot of people don’t get that because it’s all about that immediate gratification. You know going back to another basic of you have to understand. This is going to take longer than you think. It’S going to be harder, it’s going to be rougher, it’s going to be bigger, it’s going to be bad or it’s going to be deafer and you have to put your head down and work and that’s a problem for many people, because it’s like look Linden.

I’Ve been working for a month. I don’t see no money, this YouTube blog. You read me on. I work for five months, full time full time there wasn’t making no money just to get it going and we’re not tell people that they’re like well. I see youtubers Shaggy Z or I see Dana Dana on Instagram and I see so-and-so on Facebook and they didn’t do that. Well, they got more talent than you do. How about that cache me outside how about that? They there’s this just a reality.

There are people who have more talent than you. You cannot put yourself in the same vein as a LeBron or a Michael Jordan or a Venus or a Tom Brady or you can’t. But this is what people do they look, it’s like, he did it or she did it, so I should be to do it. No, there are some people were just more talented than you are. I know it sucks, but it’s the Ritz, the reality of life and I grew up in the environment where there was first place.

It was second place. It was third place, it was fourth place and after that a fourth place ribbon nothing. Then it got rid of the fourth place ribbon and just went the third. So it’s not one number one number two number three and you lost and you had to suck it up and there’s a lot of people who weren’t unable to suck up anything without becoming emotionally unstable and losing it and cut some people out and trolling.

And sending me nasty grams like linen you, you ain’t helping! Nobody you got money, you doing all this stuff, you should reach out dude or do that to say that I’ve helped more people than you have and until you helped a thousand people, that’s what that estimated start. Businesses, you’re really just talking that smack daddy smack smack to make yourself feel better for being having low expectations of yourself and not executing that’s really what it is.

I mean this is the whole thing, because you know when I started this YouTube blog. There was a written plan, I mean I love these legal pads. I rolled it down what I want to accomplish and there was a realistic timeline. I did not expect to make money from writing for two years. I beat my goal by 13 months. I had the 24 month goal. I had a $ 50,000 target and I achieved that in some in 11 months, but I was prepared to work two years I wasn’t going to give up after the first year.

If I didn’t hit my 50, I wasn’t going to give up at mom’s 16. I had a dedicated plan. That’S when I hear these people, I don’t have long-run plans, I don’t write stuff down. I have no goals, I just kind of like you know. I just kind of go with the flow. No monumental achievement and humanity has ever been built with that kind of process. Nothing nothing, zero, zilch, but for some reason there, because it’s easy and it appeals to your fragile egos.

So you just got to deal with that. Gothic angels, just that’s true on the give of the way free, I put free dog up and no one wants it in a small price. Then they all call. That’S really it’s about value. Is this really about value? So those are just some of the basics, because you have so many people out here who are kind of playing around hoping to make money, and it’s just it’s just not going to happen.

It’S just it’s. It’S just totally, not going to happen. What’S up doc Donny k? Now, here’s going to be some that’s going to really get bigger people triggered to use with Erica just put in there when you start your business, your business needs more money than you do, and this means in plain English, that you must have another source of income. So all of your business income can go back into the business.

I know that’s hard. I know you’ve been told that you can do it all. I know I know what’s that song by ti whatever you want, you can have whatever you want. You can start the business quit your job, make a lot of money and not work that hard and have plenty of free time. Those are all there’s some nuts to call it’s like Moby, Dick, that’s called fiction. I know people will push back on me because ask yourself this everyone that you know personally, that you appreciate that has success.

How long did it take them? How many people do you know that were literally overnight successes, the deacon in your church, the guy who owns the drugstore, the guy that owns a lot of property in your time, your town? How many of these folks got that like overnight? So you need to start making some decisions about. Do you want to be successful long term, which means you may work very hard for two to five years and not make a lot of money on the personal side, but your business.

I knew someone whose business was doing two million a month and he was living on a hundred K a year. He could afford more money out that business, but he understood that if he did, that can see your business cash flow to your business is oxygen. So if you needed, let’s say you’re in the hospital right and someone cranks down your oxygen, 50 % you’re still alive, you’re, just you’re breathing like but you’re still alive, but you labor breathing.

But then they crank up the oxygen to 70 % you’re a little bit better. Then they crank it up to a hundred percent you’re fine, you’re healing you’re getting better. This is what people do on their business. They crank down the cash flow, the oxygen to 10 % 20 % and wonder why their business isn’t growing and then a sucker dies, because you starve your business of something very important that it needs and people do this all the time because they like yoga.

I got ta go on this trip. I couldn’t I got ta do this. I got ta. Do this, I’m going it you don’t have to you want to so put in your mind that building your business is look you’re. Looking at two to five years now, I’ve said this before I’ve said this on several articles and it’ll be even more emphatic on that, because so many people are trying to hack around it or trying to you know, do what I do when before I came to Youtube I had a decade of business experience before I came to YouTube a decade and a lot of 12 hour 18-hour days and then to me YouTube was easy because I was working eight to twelve hour days.

It was easy because my perspective for hard work was so different than the average person, because someone was just like you know, because, like Sunday’s a workday for me and how it worked Sunday, how come you know you’re getting taken 2-3 days off? I don’t need two or three days off for what this charges me up. This is fun, so I don’t need to take a vacation for some of my love. If you got to take a vacation to recharge, you got to get away.

Maybe you don’t like that thing which is cool, take that vacation, but if you’re working in the business you’re doing some stuff, you need to do you kinda, don’t want to take vacations. You can. I have to force myself to go places. I have to set stuff up like this week. I was at YouTube was here in Atlanta and it was really good. It was really good. I learned a lot of stuff made a lot of cool people and I was there two days I could have been there.

Saturday, but you know it was YouTube Korea today and I really it was more for newbies, so I didn’t go, but it’s going to take time and investment. An energy baby is for real and I’m like I love this, keep saying that until it like sinks in let’s see. Well, we got a bunch of comments here. Let me jump up into this. Put that there all right so we’re. Where are we? Let’S go back? Donny K, good stuff Pharoah, the journey to a thousand miles starts with one step at a time it’s best to learn to enjoy the process of getting to the destination.

It’S just the icing on the cake and you got a mochi cause up in there too. That’S pretty cool the M and I see we paid to have a business plan prepared. The goal was 10 K per month. In 12 months we hit 15k per month in 10 months. That sounds really familiar like something I did the lavish where’s the free Crixus training. They get the initial startup money. I was given a lengthy call or buy links. I need to work to that.

First go to the lab at tre lavish. I was calling you d lavish another one. Tre lavish go to the beginning of the blog and there’s a little search bar and look at all of the Craigslist articles. That’S like 30 of them! So that’s where you get your free training or you can save yourself a lot of time and go to the links below the article and buy the $ 5 ebook. So you could pick Lamar Williams. I spending you’re just learning the market grooming.

My mindset I’m in my third year and I just started to catch traffic and make enough where I can live off and reinvest once again. Lamar is proving my point. I mean you know I’m trying to become like the anti internet. Marketer and it’s you know, stop appealing to your basic instincts. They use persuasion, influence tactics because, at the end of the day, the truth deals with us all and, and we can’t escape it daanyik a mill.

Drifting is one of the reasons of failure all day long. This is why I had a lot of mad set stuff on this blog, fantastic mr. Vic good afternoon. Do you have a course about how to build business and corporate credit? No, I have a personal credit course and I’m going to tell you something and I will turn that into a Segway, real quick. You need to work on your personal credit before you work on your business credit years ago and I’ll make this quick.

I had a really nice paid X and I had a Home Depot credit card with 100k limit, no personal guarantee, knowing just off my iin and off my LIC LLC those days of God, everybody that’s going to give you significant credit. It’S going to run off your FICO score and the only difference is they’ll they’ll check your FICO score, but it will not be on your personal credit report. It will be on your business credit reports, so you need good credit on the personal side to really maximize your business credit yeah, you can get a Staples card or you could get what’s called 30-day net 60-day net.

This is when the supplier says hey. You know you you make rings, will give you steel or good. You know for 30, you know, will give you 30 days to pass. That’S not as risky as $ 100,000. Unsecured credit card you’re, not getting that kind of stuff without a high FICO score. It ain’t happening, I’m just letting you know he used to happen, and some people can still kind of pushed the envelope with kind of like a marginal credit score, but you still need to be six.

Eighty, six, nine still just to get decent stuff. You’Ll have a higher interest rate, but you can still get it so work on that because you you, you got ta straighten out your personal and you’ve got child support thing. I little tell you’ve got child support stuff on your credit, poor. That will kill a lot of things. If you got that kind of stuff going on, you would have to get that clear, low and get that off or it will prevent you from getting a lot of stuff.

Mister are vos Sheila’s. I love how honest and realistic you are with the people. Thank you for bro, no problem, no problem. What’S up good Brian, what’s up bro Savelle to build my business to be full profit, while I work part time took three years at full-time profits to live alone business and takes a lot of work, almost any business yeah, you know you if you, if you’re taking The money out of the business you’re going to start the business, the M and I see you have to put every dime back into your business.

When you start no doubt yeah you’re going to have to do that for two or three years or depending on where you want to be because here’s something else to that, we’ll talk about in hustle camera, I have what’s called my basic living expenses. I picked a number and that’s all I live on. Even I don’t care if more money comes in. That’S all I live on and you have to do that because if you consistently adjust your lifestyle, as your income goes up, you’re going to be in the world of hurt when your income goes down because luxury wants luxuries, wants tasted become necessities.

So you’re going to be mad that you can’t live how you want to live when you never sat down and said, look this: this is what I’m going to live on. This is my lifestyle money. So if I got let’s say two million dollars a year more money, my lifestyle really wouldn’t change a lot. A few things would change, but they be small they’d, be more on the personal side, nothing really crazy. I wouldn’t like quit doing what I’m doing and then like that now, if I got ten million there would be significant changes because that’s a huge chunk of money.

Now, if I got fifty million, there would be some more changes, but the income would have to go way up for me to make these lifestyle changes and that, with those kind of numbers, this type of stuff, I want to be paying cash. So, even if the income went down, lifestyle doesn’t change, but what’s happening is you’ve got a lot of people who are doing these tactics, who are doing black hat tactics on the internet and they’re, making a lot of money and they’re developing these voracious appetites for a Certain kind of lifestyle and then when YouTube or Google do what they do there in the world of hurt.

Your Branson bear I’m learning so much for 30 days to 2,500. Oh, that’s why I thanks good bran, your money. That’S why I raised the price I included. 30 days to 2,500 and hustle camp and hustle in 30 days to 2,500 was selling for $ 2.99 on its own. So, instead of folding that in to hustle camp and keeping the price at hustle camp price, then pissing off everybody who recently bought 30 days to 2500.

I just raised the price because 30 days was sudden. I actually raised the price of 30 day. So, what’s up G Adams Cabrera I faced a possibility on taking FedEx as a client. That’S a wonderful! That’S a wonderful thing, a brand. That really is the MN. I see we got lucky as we were the rare unicorn Network sprinting from day one, because the demand was already there all right. Take the luck out of there.

Let’S go back to what you said. You said you paid. Let’S be real clear. You paid to have a business plan created, which means you spent some bread on the proposal. You didn’t quit your job and you’ve reinvested. Every penny that ate luck, that’s called business management. That’S not luck! Luck had nothing to do with it. When I wrote my first book making money A to Z, was self storage unit auctions.

Many people said I got lucky so I spent 10 years in the storage auction business. I wrote a book 14 months for the shows came out. I created a YouTube blog with 200 some articles before the show’s came out. I created a blog how it? How does that luck? Luck is if I’m walking down the street and well there’s a hundred bucks, that’s luck or I’m driving down to 80 500 400 and the winning lottery ticket blows in my window.

That’S luck! All that other stuff is called execution. Never call your accomplish! The accomplishments! Luck! Get rid of you know if you’re talking to normal people, yeah throw you I got lucky, so they can feel better about themselves and not attack you. If you want to go that way, yeah, but no, you did not get lucky. This was an intentional plan that you studied the market, you execute it and you won.

That’S what happened if you want, if you want Amex, also with Amex, if you get to the exposure limit they’re going to ask you for a lot of financial documents, and if you don’t give them those documents, they will close all of your Amex products. Eric wins. We have to reinvest in my paying company three months in a row best decision ever. I had a lot of credit at that time and you know for the record.

I am NOT like Dave Ramsey. I love Dave Ramsey. I think he offers a lot of great services and helps people, but I disagree with him on the business side, because if you got a job – and you got like say $ 50,000 for personal credit – and you have a business that has real cash flow, don’t do This, if your business doesn’t have cash flow, and you can float yourself a $ 10,000 loan or $ 20,000 loan and make sales and then pay that credit card off do it, but you need to have cash flow.

You need get back to that. First part of direct-response making money that you can do that, and I can tell you from experience your credit limits will like grow like crazy. You drop in 10 20 grand a month on your credit card and paying it off every month around. That’S it. You used to be like 3 months now, it’s like 6 to 9 months, but you do that for 9 months or a year they will just like go crazy on your credit limit.

What are some of the basics of starting I’m just giving you the basics, see! Here’S the thing, because these things are not sexy, people don’t think they’re the basics. Direct-Response you’re selling asks for the money we haven’t even got to the manage of the stuff management stuff, we’re still on the things to get started to get that money. Everybody wants something. That’S sexy because here’s the thing you know what what’s managing a business is making your employees and your customers happy that’s managing.

If you can manage that, you will become rich because it’s hard. So let’s see where we with this, because there was a C okay. That’S weird, I don’t know where we are hold on a second actually turn that off so we’re at 45 minutes. Okay, I got a few more things to say that I’m going to bounce make sure that yeah, I forget the guys name at the Y Combinator. Essentially, they give everybody 20 G’s and the best company wins Corey Roberts, serious question new subscriber love.

The mindset that you have, however, is this really life right now, look! Okay! Even when I was doing the webinars and stuff. I never did that fake live stuff where no no, this. This is really I you know what I know where Corey gets this from there’s there’s these programs there’s these automatic webinar programs where they’ll tell you that it’s live. You pick a time you show up, and then you ask a question.

You get some weird response or you you just know, something’s off, but yeah that I never did that. Even when I had the old Facebook group, I said: don’t do that if you’re going to do that, tell people that’s recorded if your society is good, they’ll still read it do not fake that it’s live. I love you blending because you teach us to success. It’S mostly hard work is this strategy could brand? It really is because the thing is, if you look at it from a to the 3 to 5 years standpoint, that’s more doable, but you know you’re going to go from broke-dick, Danny and 90 days to the man that that’s unrealistic, sure they holiday giggling and any Tips for a new blogger on wordpress, no, the main name, but I have like 30 followers looking to monetize.

Everyone is talking about email list to make money. It’S a lifestyle blog. Realistically, you got another two years of work: you’re not going to make any money with 30 plus followers. I would say: build your blog right every day and find your direction GM’s, iPhone and iPad with services. A good ideal for a side. Hustle depends on where you live, but it can be. I think the markets getting a little flooded, Corey Roberts, I’m glad you’re laughing no disrespect you gave me hope.

I understand no, I’m not disrespect. I know where you get that from because there’s a lot of fakeness online, you have people who do this every day that they are doing, live and they’re not really live, Maddi ghosts. I’Ve made about 70 K trading stocks from thinking upon a condo and renting I’m looking and getting an LLC in the end, then we’re also catching them on Bitcoin stock out next week, Maddie girls.

I got a bit of question. What’S your long-term plan, what are you looking to do because, let’s just squawk through what you’re saying you, take your 70 K and put some other money? Listen, you got 122 buy one condo and you buy it in a good place. So you park $ 120,000 in this one condo and make rental income of 12 1500 a month, so you get 14 grand at 18,000 a month which ain’t bad, but what else you going to going on cuz, it sounds like.

Oh, some parts of your plan are missing: Timmy P, best advice for a trucking company with 30k debt bringing in 12 km of and my personal expenses are 4 K a month, keep doing what you’re doing and keep stacking. And then, when you get to 50 to 60 K in the bank, that’s not going to be set aside for taxes. You can look into either hiring another driver buying another truck or something like that and, like I said, your debt is tax deductible.

So I’m not really worried about that, because the thing is, if you’re, making 12 with one truck, I’m assuming cuz, you didn’t have any trucks you have, but for you to make more money you and you need more trucks. You need more drivers. Sure I mean you got a long way to go, because I I can’t really get into that. I can show. I can’t show it to you, but my first year on YouTube, I think I got 20,000 views, my first full 12 months.

I mean I started making money long before I got views a lot of views cuz, you know my conversion rate was really good, but yeah. You got some work to do. Starscream 15:40 I’ve been given an opportunity to buy business for 20,000 K that has a it. Has 40 to 50 K profits per year, but I have no experience in that field or business experience. Would you recommend I buy it? No! No! Keep your 20 grand and do this.

It’S like look! What I’ll do for a year is I’ll work for you as an employee. You don’t have to pay me any money and I’ll learn the business, because that that’s just a recipe for disaster and you’ll see online where the business owner will stay on for a while, but see once he sold that business and got that bread he’s going to Become disinterested, it won’t be around that’s just for the profits, and I would I would pass on that because the big thing is, you have no experience in that field.

So there’s so many things that you have to learn. You’Ve got, and I don’t know if that’s all the money you have but there’s some more things you need to think about gothic angel Kindle. So I want to start on Amazon. Do you think one or two practice the way to go is just flooded with all kinds of stuff. Once again, direct marketing find out who your marketplace is. That’S going to help you with your product selection, your brand, can you still use a bee Bay and Craigslist to bootstrap your startup all day long Starck screen 15.

4. It’S a locksmithing business, but I would be the only employee pass. Keep your 20 grand pass! You would have to learn how to be a locksmith. Locksmiths have to be on call. No, no, no. No, this just passed cuz. They are even interested in locksmithing. Roosevelt YouTube has changed the advertisement by saying not suitable to all advertisers, not to pay for YouTube. Is where your thoughts, I don’t know, I’m not putting ass.

On my new articles, I I made a decision. I don’t know three four months ago where I was just. I was going to do me. I was going to do what I want to do. I know talking to some people. You know why Kanye West voice, talking to you like it’s just you me. A lot of people are not going to dig this message in it and that’s cool, that’s really cool. But the thing is, I noticed the right message. I know it will help the people who it’s meant for because that’s where I’m at like, if you would come to this blog and use, I’m not feeling that guy, I ain’t for you, that’s just how it is so, I’m creating more of the original type content That was created, I’m not putting the ads on the articles, because people will advertise their stuff on my articles against my stuff.

So I don’t really think about that. I’Ve completely pulled myself away from normal YouTube tactics because I didn’t start this blog in a normal YouTube way. So why start now? I’Ve got enough, you’ll be seeing all kind of stuff just kind of like what I was doing with you know the better quality camera, because I didn’t bring my I got like what do you call that thing where you can? I got an extension cord where I can plug it into the camera.

I didn’t bring it and I knew that battery was going to die. So that’s why I set up the logic cam here. So when that sucker died. That means I switched over. The goal is a better quality, better content, and just do it my way, because you know I’m in my happy place again, so I don’t really subscribe to a lot of YouTube stuff. It’S just it’s not made me the most money. So don’t really put a lot of advertising that I think if you’re going to start a YouTube blog, you need to start something that’s going to make you happy something that you can do day after day, some that you have a lot of fun with otherwise you’re Going to get burned out on that YouTube event, it was a lady talking about that and she’s been doing this for a while and she’s just literally burnt out, and she doesn’t know what to do.

You know we’re kind of giving us some suggestions. So if you create some that you just really don’t like just to get that brand, it’s going to bite you and it’s going to bite you in the butt man. It’S really going to be not what you think that you’ll see the money, and that would be nice, but at some point there has to be an emotional fulfillment. You have to get somewhat of a high doing what you’re doing you know like.

I said: I’m changed a lot of stuff, okay, so that went off some, probably what I’m going to do on this. It’S like a part two I’ll, probably do that, because I didn’t really get into the management, because one of the things I’m doing in hustle camp is I’m giving you a progressive and logical blueprint and you’re going off my experience like okay. Let’S say you really give a management money, you probably don’t need the first part.

That’S why I have multiple tracks going on, but my life was a disaster and it wasn’t because I wasn’t like blowing my money on crazy stuff. I never had any kind of dependency or addictions or anything. I wasn’t doing that it’s just, but I still wasn’t manage my money properly. I didn’t operate my personal side like a business account and I’m giving you that progression that makes sense and telling you it’s going to take some time.

It’S going to take a little time, and that way you can start getting that stuff together. So when you get your business idea of your business thing going, then you don’t take two to ten to 20 to 30 steps back, because you can’t manage your money. Look at the number of athletes who went from being in college to multimillionaires who ended up, broke and part of it. Isn’T they weren’t bad people and they had nothing to do with it? They had no one in their life to say look.

This is how you do you. This is what you do with a million dollars. This is what you do with ten million dollars. This is what you do you go out and get yourself a disability policy. They don’t have anyone to tell them that stuff and they were just figuring it out along the way by themselves, and it’s pretty sad I mean it’s like really really sad, so yeah you just put your YouTube blog for you. Roosevelt GA is preparing and reselling home appliances, mainly washer, dryer and refrigerator for a side hustle on sale through Craigslist.

We are, in my opinion, just my opinion, we’re in the recession and it’s a recession moves that business you’re talking about G annum. G Adams is going to boom starscream yeah, I’m interested, but I’m in a tight spot to do it and I’m one year away from a degree in chemistry. Thanks for the advice, yeah get that chemistry degree. Trust me on that angel Morales, hi buddy. How long how you doing I want to start a YouTube blog about my experience with my custody bout to the courts with my narcissistic baby mothers.

How will that accomplish this? I’M going to give you some advice that probably on here don’t do that that niche is rooted in pain and it’s going to I mean I know what why you want to you want to help people I get that, but you could really injure yourself and you Can injure your kid, I would suggest pick something else. That’S just my opinion. That’S just my opinion. Fer. You rather buy the business taking a couple years to profit.

There are so many pitfalls. You were encounter. I’Ve been working on my business in my spare time for 3 years and that’s that’s one of the big things for a lot of people. When I was doing strictly storage auctions, I have the guys name was Morris and he got in early and he was in because I actually gave them the storage talking group since I’m not doing storage auction. So I’m going to keep the group, so I just gave it to the people who are doing storage auctions and he sent me a message.

He said I just got laid off and I’m not worried. Thanks to you I’ll just expand my business I’ll be fine. You know I’m not going to miss my mortgage, I’m not going to miss any car payments. I appreciate that see now. That’S the kind of stuff I like, but the thing is: if you get people who don’t execute that story’s never going to happen Morris executed, I gave him like 10 % – maybe 20 % – and he did the other 90 80 percent.

And that’s where the lots of stuff falls down and that’s kind of you know the things that I want more of so for those of you who were interested in hustle camp or you have some questions because now I have a better system because there’s so many Ways that people come at me through Facebook themes, instagramming also the player I just can’t handle that. So we’ve got a question about hustle camp or any course just go ahead and hit pati at V school for hustlers dot-com or you can send her a text.

You know you can either call us in the text and she’ll get back to you and for those of you who want to be part of hustle camp, we’re going to be entering to the well foundation process in a few days. And what that is is to get wealthy. It’S not overnight thing. It probably won’t happen in your generation, but if you’ve got kids, you got you know grandkids. If you want to set the stage for them to not struggle like you did or also and you’ll be comfortable, you know you’ll start making money, but for the real multiples to happen, you have to learn how to teach your kids, how to manage money and build Businesses and that’s what I call the wealth foundation staff.

Any of those thing we’re going to talk about that and we’re going to talk about how to start a business with $ 10,000. We’Re going to talk about how to store business for 50,000, plus some more stuff. Cuz someone asked about the business credit in the LLC and then that’s some Ament to bring up I’m going to do fat cats for fat cat profits. How LLC’s make you bank part two, but I’m going to do it through hustle camp.

So if you are in hustle camp, you will get that very soon, because it doesn’t make sense to tell you how to do this LLC stuff when you’re not making any bread. It’S just like you. You got all of these bullets, but no gun just its value, but I think that’s giving the LLC and stuff before you establish cash flow revenues, some kind of multiple streams, ain’t. Something is just putting the cart before the horse and that’s why and this isn’t one other thing.

So it’s like. I know a lot of people want it. I can reopen it up, people will buy it, but it’s not appropriately positioned for you to get maximum success. If I do that, but if you go through hustle camp – and you learn this stuff and you put together these businesses, then with the fat-cat secrets, makes way more sense and that’s how I’m going to do it so for everybody who’s already in hustle camp, all those Folks who got in early, I know they’re going to be loving it because I’m going to continue to add more training.

That makes sense, I’m not just going to put stuff in there. I get people every week who said hey. Could you do a course on that? I’M like no, I don’t have an audience for that, so I’m not going to a course on that, but this is going to be very, very special. So if you wan na be part of the experience, while I am here, let me see, let me cuz, I don’t really. I know I changed it and this weekend you know I’ve got some consulting clients working on branding, which is real hard.

We’Ll talk about that. A little later, but I will tell you exactly what the price is and I’ll even tell you what’s in there too. Okay, I raised to the 519. I knew I had to be more factual hold on a second. Let me do something for those of you who are still here, because I know a lot of people left like. Oh lord, you trying to sell something. I’M out, I’m only here for the free information, that’s cool, then the love.

So let’s get rid of that shot and let’s get rid of that shot. Then I’ll show you there we go. What’S that’s I’ll pop back in here for a second and then we’ll show you in a second what you get because part of this is explaining some things to you and that’s very important, because people like you know I will send this for me, man what we Doing how we doing this and then and I’ve loaded it up with a lot of stuff that makes sense: okay boom there we go so I’m in there.

Okay, what I did – and you know it’s 600 bucks – and I will tell you the price – is going to go up at some point. I’M not going to tell you when cuz it’s based upon when I make moves, and I don’t know what I’m making these moves. So I’m not oh, it’s going to go up the end and mom best get in there, while you can but you’re going to get disruptive money, personal which goes with how to manage your money.

How they’ll never be broke again? How to manage your money? The $ 25.00 hustle, which is a quick way to make money with a little small investment. I got some live streams in there. For you, that’s an essential steps to hustling becoming the boss, the Craigslist marketing course hustle camp. This is really the money. Epik resell a path to better flipping profits in 30 days to 2500. So why did I do this? I put stuff in there because I don’t know how you’re coming in or you broke dick Danny or you a seasoned entrepreneur.

So essentially, anyone can take hustle camp and find the place to start and start working on some stuff, while other things are being developed because it’s going to let’s say pop out of here, because this is a bundle. So you get a bunch of courses in this and then we will go into. I have that where you can even see it nope yeah, okay, I didn’t put anything on it. So essentially this is going to be built out.

It’S really nothing in there, because everything is running in the facebook group and probably before the end of the month, we’re going to take those courses. Those prompts the steps and put them here so you’ll have them, because I had to create a container where to put this stuff, because one of the things that I did was I just let this thing develop. I didn’t force it and now we have a better orientation to how this thing’s going to go.

So let me check the comments all right, so let’s get back to that. So go back again and that’s what you get so that’s the thing. So I can tell you once we get into cuz, there’s probably going to be zero to a hundred thousand, which is going to be a manual some things you need to do to do that. That’Ll be part of hustle camp. All training for the next year are going to be things that make sense for hustle camp and you getting a better business, a better lifestyle, better credit on stuff, all that’s going through hustle camp.

So once we get to filling out the web development through entrepreneurship tab. It’S going to be crazy and it’s going to take time, I’m not going to be able to do this in a weekend. I’M not going to be able to do this in a month. I fully expect it to take a year to build hustle camp out the way that I want to, and you know in the beginning, I was just putting it out there cuz I was going to like let it feel out instead of just kind of forcing it Now I know exactly where we want to go, how I want to do it so everything that will be in hustle camp.

It’S going to be for building wealth development through entrepreneurship, and the first thing is: you need to learn how to hustle before you get the business, then, once you learn how to hustle make some money get out of the debt trap, get out of the trap of Being normal get out of the trap of living like everyone now, let’s get out of the trap of having car payments, then you position yourself to start a business that benefits you now benefits your kids benefits your grandkids, but you know if we don’t take these steps.

It’S just not going to happen, so that’s. How are we going to do so once again appreciate y’all coming out here on the Sunday and I’m just going to end on this note or anyone has any questions. This is where you go also be sure to subscribe and share this article with people you care about. You sure. Do all that appreciate that. So, with that I am out, I will catch you guys.

How To Build a Business Case for Social Customer Experience, Customer Service & Social Media.flv

Nathalie, Parra, Hoffa and I’ll, be your host in a series of articles on how to make a business case for social media and customer service, because I covered customer service, CRM and social media as an industry. Analyst people often asked me how these technologies can be used in business. I then ask them a question: are you interested in increasing sales or decreasing costs if the person I’m talking to is a customer service manager? I also asked whether the customer service department is getting the respect it deserves for the critical role it plays in the success of the business.

Of course, the answer to the first question is always: yes, everyone wants to make more money and spend less of it, but more often than not. The answer to the second question is no. These articles will help show the relationship between customer service, social media and the overall benefits to the company they’ll help. You prove that social media can affect the bottom line today, and the customer service can contribute to the social media strategy that sets up your company for success in the future.

Who knows it might even be your ticket to the executive suite many of the customer service executives. I’Ve gotten to know have told me that they dream of the day that their CEO will actually listen to customer calls. They know if their CEOs heard all the complaints they’d stop, telling them to find ways to do more with less. Of course, they also know that their CEOs will never listen to calls, but as customers start tweeting and blogging and posting comments, they can do the very next best thing they can monitor all the mentions of their company in social media and pull it all together into A presentation when they show the results to the CEO and the team pages and pages of complaint after complaint, the typical response is shock, and then the CEO usually says something along these lines.

We need to fix this and we need to fix it fast. I don’t want people to see this, it could really hurt our brand and our growth. Do you know what to do about this? Customer service executives can then assure the CEO. Not only do they know how to make the bad publicity go away. They can also prove that it will pay off when it comes to the bottom line. For example, they can show that an investment in social media will make customer service less expensive and customers more loyal.

I’Ve seen these situations lots of times it’s the moment when the light bulb goes on for the executive team and the CEO it’s when they get at a gut level. What can happen when customers no longer pick up the phone to dial the contact center to complain but they’re using social media to air their grievances? It’S when they realize that all of these complaints will last forever meaning they can’t be taken down with millions of people.

Tweeting and posting and blogging the result can be stunning. For example, 70 % of bloggers write about brands and products, and 51 % of online users read them, which affects sales. What’S more, the treatment of customers has become the topic of TV shows like Undercover Boss and outsource and books, like your calls, not that important to us and PR disasters like United breaks. Guitars article are on everyone’s mind, but all this attention to customer service you’d think it would be easy to convince a CEO that it’s important to meet customers where they are not so much to really get a CEOs attention.

You need to show how social media will affect the traditional metrics. The contact centers live and die by. So how can you do that? First you’ll need to show what people are saying about your company. Second, you must prove that social media can affect the metrics. That result in higher savings and higher customer satisfaction to tackle the first task gather some examples. Depending on your industry, people will use a different social media mix most we use Twitter and Facebook, but their use of blogs forums, Flickr YouTube and other media will vary.

There are many social media monitoring tools that you can buy, but if you want to get started, you can use some of the following tools for free, for instance, go to search twitter.Com to search for tweets to search for blogs. You can go to technorati, calm and for forums. You can try board tracker calm. You can also get Google Alerts at google.Com backslash alerts or use a search engine to find negative posts by putting in your name, followed by fail for the second test.

You’Ll want to prove the ROI of social media programs that you’re proposing once you’ve shown how social media can affect the bottom line. You can also make the case for how it sets your company up for success to find out how to do both tune in to the next articles.
