How To Digitally Market A Small Business On A Tight Budget

So a lot of us really want to be known, really want to put our messages out there, but we don’t quite have the budget or we don’t quite know how to actually do it, and the reason why I do that is because my mission is to help Entrepreneurs such as yourself to not hear this, but to actually set up, you know reliable and lucrative businesses that are actually profitable and enjoyable all right. You know to get any sort of attention, maybe for your message or for your websites or for your social media.

If you are finding it difficult to get attention, I want you to type in the number one. If you are someone getting by, can you type in the number two if it’s totally difficult for you to get by, can you type in the number three? I just really want to have an understanding of who is online right now I see Sheridan has just tuned in. Thank you so much, I’m hoping you’re feeling better right now and also doing well with your work right then – and this is your first time tuning in welcome aboard like I said this will be a 30-minute segment when we’re really talking about how you can bust a Notch or two and actually you know, really reach out to your audience and get their attention and actually you know, sell to the audience so that your business can be profitable and can be enjoyable now, wouldn’t that be nice? Alright, now you know here’s a situation that I’m sure everybody who’s reading right now can resonate with you know you probably have a small budget and you’ve got really really big dreams.

You know when the Facebook ad that sold you on to the dream that you have you know can buy. It came with. You know pina coladas on the beach and you working by the beach, or you know four hour work weeks like what Tim Ferriss has written, etc, etc. But all of that just exists in misleading facebook ads when you start, you know really working on your business when you start creating for and relating to your audience, it’s not the same way as the Facebook ads.

You know, have predicted or put it out there. So you might, you know, really have really really big dreams you want to have. You know grow your own business, you want to become your own boss, but money and cashflow are tight, and that means you know you’re going to of that cash flow for things that are really really important and you’re going to skimp on your marketing. Now. Does this sort of sound like you, does this sound like like you’re the person who’s got a small budget and maybe big dreams? I want to know the people that are actually reading here, because you know if you’re doing well, then maybe this one with the article for you, but if, if you’ve got really small budgets and and really big dreams, then I want you to continue reading this article You’re not I mean because I run a digital agency leave along digital and I get a lot of requests.

You know for people that wanted strategy session from me, because we do a lot of marketing in and around you know the websites on and off online, etc, etc. So, there’s people that want – maybe you know a strategy created for them. There’s people that want implementation of. Maybe they’ve heard me speak about the blueprint or they they want me to help them with their SEO or but they’re on a minimum budget.

You know and and then this happens on a daily basis. You’re not I mean not. A lot of businesses are actually making money out there, like I said in the other article, ninety seven percent of the article of the you know: small businesses in Australia run by people like you and me all right and then pretty much from that. Ninety seven percent. Maybe thirty to forty percent, I’m not going to make it past year, one year two year, three, all right! So that’s why you know people like me come in because we help you to actually have a business, that’s profitable and enjoyable.

In especially if your startup or if you’re a small business all right and I’m going to just give it away right from the get-go first of all, you got ta, make sure you’re doing good work. You got ta, make sure you’re doing good art, because that’s the only thing that gets remarkable.

That’s the only thing that people alright! No, I want you to maybe remember a time old or the last time you went and readed a movie alright and have you ever walked out of a movie or have you ever heard? Somebody who’s read the same movie that you’ve readed, repeating maybe a couple of lines from that movie. You know that that readed and you guys instantly connect now. What I’m trying to say is if you make good art, people will talk about it.

It will be remarkable. You know just like how you know good movies end up as people start talking about those lines in that movie. If I say I’ll be back, you remember, you would know that I’m talking about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s movie. If I talk about, I can’t really think of movie lines right now, but you you get what I’m trying to say all right, so make good art do good work. If you make people happy, if you make people laugh, if you make people get results from the work that you’re putting out there, they will talk about you at a barbecue. That’s the first thing that you can absolutely do even if you’ve got a low budget or even if you’ve got a high budget. If your work is good enough for people to talk about, they definitely will talk about it. Alright and I see – and what’s going on.

The next thing that you really want to make sure within your business is once you’re doing good work, that good work becomes your message all right and then, when you’ve got that good work, make sure that message goes to a market be specific on who has to Actually hear that message, because not everyone is your customer, because if you’re going to be spraying and praying with your marketing, then you’re wasting advertising money.

You’re wasting. You know advertising budgets you’re wasting your time, you’re wasting the listeners time. Alright. Whenever people don’t understand, who is this meant for me and whenever people don’t understand, is this book written for me whenever people don’t understand? Was this book meant? For me, it’s going to be difficult for them to actually listen to the message, so you have to have really good work like I said, and then it creates what is called a permission asset once you’ve got permission to sell to me.

I will then start listening. All right, you can’t sell to somebody who hasn’t, given you permission to sell to them so once you’re doing good work, you’ve got a message now that goes to a specific market. Facebook is under scrutiny for having leaked people’s data, etc, etc, and guess, what’s going to happen, people are going to shrug away from you know using Facebook as a platform.

Now, if you have big noticing as well that Facebook, even the reach has been dwindling in the reach, has been getting smaller and smaller and if you have just been, you know basing or standing on one media blog. As you know, the way you’re reaching out to your audience, it’s going to be grand opening and grand closing for you. Alright. So, like I said your media, your market, and when you actually now choose your blog, which is the you know, which is how you deliver your message.

You know it makes it a whole lot easier, whether you move from one platform to another people will still remember what you said. Why? So this is for those people that have a you know a really tight budget and really want to make sure they get a proper return of their investment as soon as they put money in and then they get some sort of cash outline. So, by choosing your blogs wisely, we all caught up in in the angst. You know that is caused by the lack of money, because guess what we we are forced or we are shown. How are the big companies? Are? You know advertising you not.

I mean we forget one thing: everyone has a limited marketing budget, you know, I mean not even the tires like Apple or coca-cola, I just spreading money out there. They are working within their budget, so I mean obviously their bodies are huge. You not I mean, but they still work hard and choosing the right blogs that give them the right return on their only investment and why? Why would they do that? Because nobody wants to waste money, and especially if you don’t have that money, why would you want to waste something you don’t have so make sure that whatever you’re going to be doing you’re not going to have to do it twice? Do it once and for all or what them what them carpenters say, measure twice and cut once Genaro mean so if you’re, a small business and you’re with small budget, this is actually really really important figure out.

What are you good at? Who means you know, what are you good at? What are you selling who needs it and where can you find them and then just specifically go to that blog instead of you being spreading yourself too thin, and then you know becoming a high-sounding nothing. You know cuz, you can’t afford to waste money, so you want to start by choosing the right digital marketing blogs and mind you. This is not an easy task right now.

Can you tell me where you think your audience is actually situated within the whole online space? Can you just type in where you think is the best place to to find you or your audience right now? Where are they congregated? Where would they be if you would go out and find 10 customers off your own right now? Where would you specifically go especially in your business? Please type it in the comments, then you know this is hundreds of blogs, there’s hundreds and each of them offer a rabbit hole in and of itself.

You know, I mean, there’s social media is email. There’s PPC ads. This SEO, you know this display ads this content, marketing. All of that and guess what every new thing that comes on the market mocking us find a way to ruin it. So if you’re hearing about something from a Facebook ad guess what people are already raped, it and they’ve already ruined it and as much as you are a late arrival all right.

So you need to know specifically where your audience, where you congregates, then I see Mike as just children, what’s going on brother tonight, I mean this is just a few of the things that we are exposed to, because if you don’t know where your client is right Now and a quarter past two, then you have lost everything. You know you wouldn’t know what to do it for beer, because then, if you know where your client is, are they in the office or are they taking their kids from school? Because if you post a blog at that particular time, are they going to see it or are they going to wait until they finish making dinner for their family? So that’s how much you need to know your market and each of them each of these platforms.

I’m talking about it comes with its own limitations, so you now have choice. Paralysis. Is that what they call it, paralysis of choice and it’s real? The struggle is real right there you know. So do you know exactly what your customer is doing right now at a corner bus to please, if you know, can you type it down right now? You know because you’d like to to to to to I mean you would want to use platforms that are already where your customers are.

If you don’t have money you know, because if you go off the beaten track, how are you going to reach to new people? People need to hear your stuff six to eight times in order for you to catch fire and that costs money. It’s not going to be easy for somebody to pay attention to you if you haven’t gotten their attention in the first place. So, in order to make the right choice, you really need to start with your buyer persona, who is going to buy my products? What frustrations am I actually fixing who needs me in the market? What would happen if I’m not there? All of those questions? Are you asking yourself, those questions am I needed in market? Is this product? If I don’t exist that somebody suffer cuz, if you’re not asking yourself all those deep questions, my friend, that’s the reason why it’s crickets and your funnels.

That’s the reason why it’s crickets in your bank account right now find out who your ideal customer is: where do they hang out online? What publications, what are they buying on Amazon here? What do they like? Who are they listening to and what tone of voice actually appears appeals to them? Some people like to be told what to do some people like to make their own decisions find out. Is your customer that person what how am I reaching out to them and how are you going to know you’re getting the right person? What is the feedback that you should be getting from that buyer persona to actually solidify that you are doing good work, that they absolutely need Mack, good art? If that’s the only thing you get from this article today make good art mike says.

These are great questions. Does my existence solve somebody’s suffering? Absolutely, you know they’re not giving our participation trophies our day. My man, all right you’ve got ta really reach out to people, because you know what we are now. Oh, it’s called info Bay City. There’s a lot of obesity caused by food. Now there is info best city right. Let me coin that term info best city, everybody’s bloated, with information right now.

You’ve got ta, be that person and that actually you know what what do we call it. This be succinct with that information. Make sure you make it succeed enough that it fills them up. Everybody is bloated with information, so make sure whatever work you’re putting out. There is good at linked good art and your budgeting and your your your marketing budget won’t be strained a whole great deal. You know, and if you answer these questions like what Mike is saying, your choice is half made.

If you know where to find you next ten customers right now, can you type in the number one all right and I see Christine Stowe – has this chin then thank you so much Nicole says he is good, oh good. I will read it again absolutely and share this if you can, with your with your other mates that really have you know, I’m running on a low budget, but really want to reach out to their audience there, and if you can actually answer the questions that I Asked earlier on, as in who needs what you’re selling and who, whose existence is not going to be an enjoyable existence, if you don’t exist, or if your message doesn’t exist in the in the market right, then you know and then the rest would be covered by Whatever budget you have so there’s no point in you spreading yourself too thin without a message that resonates to a market.

You know start with maybe one or two blogs and then that you can actually afford to be present, because if you can show your customers, you can help them by actually helping them. Then I’ll tell you something. They would actually anticipate that you warn. You have a solution for them now Mike says he always gives me so much to think about going to re-read. But you need to answer the question. What would the grunts you know fulfill for these people? What is it that they actually want? It’s not grunts, they want. What do they want? Is it a better lifestyle, a better business, a business, that’s profitable and enjoyable, because right now, you’re pushing a product? What is the feeling, what is the thing that people absolutely want so that they come to you and then say and knock on your door Christine and say because of you, I did not give up what is it that they absolutely want from you? You need to find that and if you can specify what that particular thing is, I assure you people would be tripping stumbling and falling to come and get more of what you’re selling right there all right.

So you, you really have to be really succeed and show people you can help them by actually helping them and half of the time is Kristin says I’m wondering why they want money, I’m not getting that one, but that’s alright, and also if, even though the Internet Has spread open and you can become a global business. Sometimes you probably don’t need that. You know we’ve actually had excellent results with clients and that we have steered towards their own local audiences.

You know I mean we’ve actually started getting a lot of results and you know by just remaining local, because people want to do business with. Does they know like and trust? Yes, you could be, you know, um, you know international or global, but are you able to service that person, especially in different time zones? The people want their surance, that will you pick up their phone just in case. Something good goes wrong in the service that you’re providing.

You know and remember what I said about dreaming big, it’s okay, everybody wants to be known as the maybe so provider of a certain product or service globally, which is like. Maybe you want to be the uber or whatever you know, service you’re serving or you want to be the McDonald’s um. You know of your industry, because whenever you talk McDonald’s synonymous with fast food, you not I mean but site’s reputation.

It takes money, time and effort and buy money. I’m talking billions to build. So just because you’ve got a website, it doesn’t mean you, you, you become global you’re, not I mean you’re, not big shock, who you know who is international broth? You need to check these statistics all right, plus it’s not really profitable for a small business, whether you’re, local or not just find out. Do you really need to extend or stretch yourself so much because you comes with customer care, it comes with understanding the different cultures of the people, you’re reaching out to etc, etc.

You know so is it profitable for you to actually really go global or I ought to be better off with the people that actually understand who you are and can know like and trust you within your local periphery? You know cuz I’ve always given this example. You know if you really want to rank your website, because my main job is search engine optimization you’re, not I mean, and and maybe you are a crafter or a creator of wedding dresses.

If you just write in wedding dresses, it’s much more easier for you to rank number one for hand, med wedding, dresses in Melbourne or handmade wedding dresses in in Sydney. Oh handmade wedding dresses in Perth because whatever, if somebody’s going to search for something they’re going to look at, who will give me the the service cheaper, better faster, so you want to be found in your local area as well.

You know better, yet it’s actually more profitable. You know why these people that actually use long tail keywords you people that say you know dentist near me, know exactly what they’re looking for you’re, not I mean and they’re likely ready to buy. They probably have a bleeding neck, so if you just rank for the word dentist they’re not going to know, are you the dentist round the corner that they can actually just reach out to I’m a semantic? You would see my in henna, you know half the time if I go out and there’s people smoking around me or these dust and fumes from the cars I just typed in pharmacy near me, so that I know just in case I start wheezing.

I can how much longer would it take me to get to a pharmacy? You know how much longer would it take me to get to a pharmacy, I’m not just going to type in pharmacy. No, I want to to cure my pain as soon as possible. So that’s exactly what your clients are doing as well, try being local because it makes you you know people reach, you faster, cheaper and you you you will be. You offer better preference, because you know what people can pick up the phone and call you or just drive around the corner and get whatever service you’re.

Getting you know and Nicole says I was thinking I was thinking you become more profitable, based on the weight and value you hold right. Sorry, if it doesn’t make sense, I mean well, you value is good. That’s the reason why I took off cuz. I had over four thousand five hundred people from all of us. You know all over the the in the world, but I cut it all into half. You know what I really want to reach to people that you know.

I can help them immediately and I can help them there and there tonight I mean so, like I say I help people with search engine optimization those people that put generic inquiries, they probably just window-shopping, which means it’s not a good return of investment for you. So you want to leverage the power of location, maybe within your social media. You know your content marketing your SEO, your PPC, you know ads wherever you can on Janee and set your name, and you know in within your city within your neighborhood, because let me tell you something: people would support to build a woman.

People would support a wall that they helped to build. You now create instant rapport. If you say I’m an SEO engines in Melbourne instead of saying to somebody in Phoenix Arizona, who’s, never heard of Melbourne Australia. You know I mean so. Is your business, a local business or a global one? Nonetheless, why pass some clients that are in your backyard? People are more likely to do business with local companies.

So why not use that to your advantage. So, like I’m saying, if you haven’t really caught up to what we’re talking about in this article, I’m just giving you all the ideas that you can actually stop: marketing your business for free, throwing in five hundred dollars three hundred dollars every single day on Facebook and You’re targeting people that don’t even care about your work, my man, why would you be doing that? Why would you be stealing from yourself and one other thing that a lot of people who would not do is, if you’re not doing good arts? Nobody would remark your work, so if you do good art, if you do good work, you get reviews all right and Scott says prosper.

So much try and get testimonials and case studies, maybe on your websites, because you know what people do business with those they know like and trust, and these days you know people who trust other people that have gone through the experience be instead of you saying, look, Look at me, you can actually have other people as being your ambassadors.

You know, like those people are talking about Elia on that. If you read the movie, you you, you go out of the movie and you’re repeating words that have been said in that movie and guess, where that comes in it creates your branding. It creates a community around the work you’re doing and you build loyalty and ambassadors around the word and it makes it cheaper for your marketing. You know, so you can encourage people to leave reviews on Facebook on Google on Google on Yelp.

I think there’s another one called Trustpilot a mom and don’t sing any of those, but user-generated content is also really good for SEO and it makes it a whole lot easier for Google to rank you. You know why, because you’re a trusted source, so we encourage people to leave. Reviews by you know, maybe offering little incentives and maybe a discount for her loan, bringing new referrals, etc, etc. Anything you can think of that is useful for you and your customers, because satisfied customers are usually the best brand ambassadors all right.

Break The Glass Ceiling Of Entrepreneurship – Part3 – Business Development

Let’s expand on that. So a big problem that I see with many entrepreneurs is that they start or try to grow a business or buy a business before they understand the structure of things before they have full.

What you can say, a business plan, any structure, any process to not just grow your business organically and by acquisitions and we’ll get into that, but also have a full structure on. I guess your systems in all of your department internally, so everything from sales and marketing to operations to HR, to customer support to your financial department. You need to first of all, have a full understanding in a picture of how, first of all before that, in the first shift, we had the vision.

But now you need to understand how the vision actually looks like like on the ground right and how you? What your plan for actually executing on that vision, because most people, what they’re doing is, I see them, go out there and they try to raise capital just on an idea which, in my opinion, it’s not enough, especially if you want to buy a business. Unless you have a full understanding of how that business will look like after you go into that and buy that or grow your business internally, it’s going to be really hard and same go for hiring people before you have a full understanding of what each role looks.

Like in your business and have a full, literally system for how the business looks like in is ideal scenario, you can’t feel the gaps in bringing people on board to those structures. Unless you know what are those structures? Who are those people who need to basically fill those roles? First of all, you need to understand what even what roles you even need in that business. So I hope that makes sense and that’s what I want to expand in this article.

So one of the problems – people are doing they’re hiring people and they don’t have systems or processes for those employees to follow. Basically, they don’t have systems in general that everyone can follow and understand what exactly they need to complete every week or every day. In order for them to be successful, and before you know those things you can bring people before, you know what their exact role is going to be.

And again, I don’t care if it’s for your existing business or if it’s for a business that you’re looking to buy you got ta, have a full structure or understanding of how a business need to look like and what are the processes? And you, especially if you want to become the owner investor, the shareholder, the advisor you got ta have a full understanding of how that picture, going to look like from a high-level position and then also to understand with yourself.

What are the KPIs that you need to track? What are the exact numbers and data that you need to get every day and every week to have a full understanding on your vision? Because if you want to have an amended management team running that business? For you, a professional manager or professional managers running those different departments in your business. You need to understand what are those departments, what is going to be in each department who are what are their roles? What are their goals for every day for every week for every quarter for every year, and unless you have that vision and understanding on that structure, you can’t go out and expect to get.

I guess the results because, first of all, you probably don’t even know what KPI is. You need to track with each of those people and unless you know those things you can expect to have a good, profitable business and that’s to begin with, and I’m talking about the little things, the little nuances that you need to understand in each department. So, for example, it looks like the accounting department, most people, most entrepreneurs, that I talked to you own six or seven figure businesses or don’t own a business.

I want to grow other and start one or buy one. They don’t have the business acumen. They don’t know how to even read a P & L or a balance sheet. It looks like Chinese for them. They don’t know how to look for ratios inside their balance sheet or P & L and how to make conclusions from those numbers in order to actually make changes in their business. They don’t know how to even handle those things in those departments or what are their roles and KPIs that they need to track in those departments like tracking accounts, receivables or payables.

In order to make sure that you have a better trading business and a better business that produces producing even more cash flow, so that’s why it’s so important to have that business development process and systems. First, before you bring anything else before you’re bringing the people before you bring in capital, and obviously you can’t build that business development plan before you have the business strategy and the vision for things you want to look like in a year from now.

In a few years, from now, in ten years from now, if you are like most business on our business owners out there, your business probably looks like kind of like your wheel with spokes all over it. Where you are like in the center of that wheel and you’re, basically responsible for almost everything and everything you need to go through, you and everything is dependent on you and you can’t transition yourself from an owner manager, employee operator, to an owner, shareholder, visionary investor.

Unless you removing yourself from those roles and unless you have the structures, so everything is working well without you, it’s going to be really really hard to make that transition. Those things and many more is what creating a bottleneck inside your business and most people or business owners or entrepreneurs. They don’t know what metrics they need to follow, or they don’t even know what metrics are important to follow right.

So when you have those that lack of fundamentals, it’s really hard to scale things in a good way and I’m going to get into more of the details of how to build an organic plan to grow in an acquisition a way to grow. But unless you have those fundamentals you can grow by buying other businesses and there’ll be shitty businesses it’ll be basically these stress businesses they’re just going to take a lot of time from you, and you can’t really make anything from that you want to make.

I know many people who buy many distressed businesses, but then they need they need to liquidate and shut down those businesses after a few months. And is it really worth your time to go and buy a bad business and spend a lot of time and sometimes money to try and turn it around? Because you don’t have the good fundamentals to begin with, because you don’t know if there are some opportunities in those businesses or not, and same goes for going growing organically.

If you don’t have the good fundamentals to begin with, maybe you’re not even getting or trying to get the right client, maybe you can get a better client that will pay you ten times more in a different place and all those different things are literally the small Nuances that will make the distinctions and breakthrough of basically creating the separate decision. If it’s business is going to make it or not it’s pretty simple, I mean many businesses literally grow by lack.

They don’t have a clear market or an understanding of why they’re even more unique than their competitors. They don’t have, even if they personally think that they know why they’re unique they don’t have a full system. That is very, I guess, open to everyone else in their company for everyone else to follow, and unless you know their unique is like many people I know would literally get to 6 or 7 s here literally by luck.

They got some opportunity. They got there, but then what happens is it after a while they don’t understand what happens, they don’t have a full understanding of their processes and then they have to shut down their business because they don’t have those fundamentals. To begin with. Now, let’s talk about plans for growth, so most people that I know own a business or want to get into business. They want to either start from scratch or try to get one client at a time literally hustled their way into getting one client.

At a time doing advertising here, advertising they’re, going to events, doing doing direct marketing and all those different strategies and they’re always looking for the next technology that will help them to give to get the next client at the break-even or a profitable marketing campaign right. So that’s what most people are doing they, and even if they’re doing that, most people don’t even have a full system and process to understand what is exactly the best way to get one client at the time and how to put themselves back from those processes.

So a team can do that for them and that’s the first way. Most people try to grow and pretty much the only way that most business owners try to grow just because most of the books and seminars and retreats out there are on that way of growing business growing organically. By doing more sales and marketing most entrepreneurs don’t even know that they can start their journey in entrepreneurship by buying another existing profitable established business or if they have an existing business.

They don’t even know that they can grow their business by going out there and merging with other companies or by buying other companies in their sectors who are complementary business to theirs, who are either their competitors, and they think that they need to have millions of dollars. In their bank to buy those businesses which far away from being the truth, because you can basically the beauty with buying businesses, unlike many other things, is that you don’t have to have 100 cent of the cash on hand.

Because you can use the acquisition target assets. As a leverage to pay for the business itself, you can literally go to financial institutions and tell them hey. Look. I had this business I want to buy and I have all those assets in that business. Let’s leverage those assets to paid for that business and I’m not even talking about negotiation strategies like puttin, Erin out or future cash flow projections to pay for the acquisition cost and that’s how you can do deals and grow literally by year’s worth of sales.

In an afternoon, by going out there and by those businesses with employees, with managers with access to more products to more cash flow, to more revenues to more operations, so, for example, if you have an existing business, let’s say whatever you have a web design company. You can go out there and buy a marketing agency who’s, doing like Google AdWords for businesses, and you can then do cross selling and seen it in save costs.

For example, if you have a list of clients and your services, you can then sell your services to their list of clients and vice versa, there’s so many cross selling opportunities that will basically save your costs from going out there and cry and quiet try to acquire New clients, because you already have that rapport and Trust with that business that you bought and I’m not even talking about synergies and so much capital that you can save from having synergies.

Because, let’s say you bought another company, you only need one department of each. You only need one HR department. You only need one marketing department, one accounting department, one customer – would support the part. All this depends on the business and all that, for example, if you’re in the same location, you only need one office and you can save so much money by buying other businesses and it’s all going to go down to your bottom line, to your net profit and Most people don’t already it’s even possible that they can grow a business by going out there and buying other businesses, and they don’t need much capital if at all, like we’ve done bills without putting any dollar down.

Just because we had enough assets in that business. To pay for that business itself and there’s so many cool things you can do there like look at the business biggest businesses out there, that’s the way they grow like when you’re, very, very big when you’re big like Facebook, for example, your only way to grow and Meet your shareholders demands is to go out there and buy other companies, there’s only so much internal growth that you can do only so much sales and marketing and optimization of your cost internal that you can do, but what the biggest companies out there are doing.

They’re going out there and they’re buying other businesses. That’s why Facebook, both companies like what’s up and Instagram, because to do all those things internally in their business, it very very different. It’s going to be so much difficult for you! Instead, you can just go out there and buy those businesses, and what Facebook is doing is they’re, basically buying Instagram with their shirts and that’s what you can do with just small businesses.

You don’t have to be a profitable, a huge mega business that it’s trading out there in the public. You can be a small business that will fold those same strategies like the big corporations, but still keep your freedom, not sacrificing your time, but most people don’t even know that it’s possible and again you have to have all those different strategies and structures to begin with. Before you go out there and bring capital and bring the right people and all those things in order to take things again to the next level, so you can become an owner investor owner, shareholder, the visionary, instead of being stuck in a business.

It’s so frustrating to see many people start their business because they want to be their own boss, but then they’re stuck in their own business and don’t get me wrong. I think it’s better to be stuck in your own business than working for someone else, but then is it really why you’ve started the business most people that I know didn’t start their business in order to have less time or to be stuck in something that many Times they don’t even like doing, because the the work is very reputable when you are very involved in the day-to-day.

I love it. Okay, so real easily. We just did number two. Okay. We found the articles. We downloaded the articles. Now, I’m going to show you five different places that you can actually upload your articles to. I’m also going to show you an additional just way to find dozens of other places you can upload a article to this is a great way to create multiple streams of income very easily, and I suggest you hop on this if you’re taking action right away, I’m Taking action because it makes no sense to not just go out there, just download and re-upload a ton of articles, so the site you want to sign up for is dailymotion comm, which I mentioned previously.

It has over three hundred million users. A lot of people read articles here and in order to sign up you just scroll all the way down to the bottom, and you would look at this area right down here. This is a really old site, metacafe right there. So this is a quick search and they get over a hundred and twenty million visitors every month and 27 million users, and if you can’t make some sales to a hundred and twenty million people, you know, I don’t know what you’re doing I’m actually going to show You a really cool way of how you can earn some really nice passive income, getting people in the door for just one dollar a book I wrote you can use my articles to sell a book.

I already wrote and or ninety percent of the money I’ll show you exactly how this whole thing works in just a second here, but you’ll be earning recurring commissions I’ll just just throw that out there throw that out there recurring commissions I’ll, show you it in just A second here, let’s go into the other mess, so metacafe great way: lots of viral articles. Here’s another site called 9gag, it’s another kind of like viral article Mimi type website.

So you can just upload articles here, sign up right here and to get started. And last but not least, is you can you can even reload my articles to YouTube now the thing about YouTube is because I was the first person to upload my own article to YouTube. I ended up making the Adsense revenue, but you end up making the affiliate Commission’s, which is what we’re going to talk about next. So the most important way of monetizing is actually not making money from the ads.

So, making money from ads is chump change, whereas making money from affiliate commissions is big money. I’m going to show you how you can make money by putting affiliate links underneath or within each of these articles, so you can earn recurring revenue specifically what I’ll be showing. You can post articles on mixer, twitch, periscope, Lutz D live zing. We major league gaming ste. I don’t even know all these sites. Vaughn live et cetera. You can post on all these sites, but the point being is you have the articles? You have the way to make money, you have the knowledge and the ability to download and upload these articles, and the math is all worked out for you.

You just need to get two people a day, spend a dollar right and you need to post these articles up as many places as possible to see where you can get viewers where you can clicks. Do this folks there’s a lot of articles on my blog. I would start with the articles that are getting the most views, because those are the most popular. Those are the ones that resonate the most with the widest audience vary up.

The text vary up. The titles do what you need to do, but get the articles out there post them up, find ways to get traffic and find ways to get people to click on your affiliate links, because you do this, you will create recurring income to allow you to live a Life that is very different from everybody else, and it’s amazing. I talked about in other articles how much money I make a month, but it’s over a hundred thousand dollars a month insane.

I never thought I’d be in the position. I am in this life, but it’s fantastic. It’s really cool, but I don’t wear fancy things. You can live life whatever way you want so go. 5 ways to create a visually STRONG artist brand (part 4 of image series)

So starting off strong visual images are all about sticking out getting as much as attention as possible. In your environment, and you have to understand your environment to truly be able to do that I’ll go over that later, though, Calle West number one is being out of place when Kanye West first started hip hop was heavily a street where look right being educated.

You have women that are wearing less clothes, typically Janelle Moll day. She went the opposite direction by not only dressing down in sense of covering her body, but also having on a pence which is a little bit more of a masculine energy.

Typically, as far as what we associate a pen, so we associated with basis and power and all that kind of stuff, so brought her more attention when she did that in the first place. But then she combined it with what Jenna does also is, which is being out of time being at a time in the sense of using an old energy and oh look and also feeling your music often times which separates you from the current day.

People and they modernize it obviously, but they also really really strongly draw from and push the image of being old school like old, old school, not 90s, but you know back in the day. Y’All know talk about anyway, play up your character, so all these people have characters innocence and they play those up. But these people play into the extreme Lady Gaga Lady Gaga, particularly that one year when she was doing things like this meat, outfit and Eminem like you down here in the right like this woman is crazy.

She was really really really going to the extreme and getting maximum attention. If you remember that year, she like you, cannot turn on TV and not to hear about her or anything at least music related and then Nicki Minaj when she first came out well after a while, she came out, but she got to a certain point where she Was like, I want to get maximum attention and I want to be in the pop world and have so many people, not my name.

She started wearing these colorful outfits all this stuff, and just these bizarre things similar to Lady Gaga just to get attention and then Katy Perry did a very much so similar thing, except she did the characters and outfits kind of like Lady Gaga did, but then she Also did the colorful things with the blue wig as a theme during her California, love album and all that kind of stuff like she did very much so a similar thing, I’m sure you can recognize the similarities.

Little yachty. I did a article talking all about how he did this I’ll go check it out. You haven’t seen it, but he I go a lot deeper and number five is props right. Using props, Rory’s hat right here is a prop the way you know this is because he one has it on consistently and then he has it on. Even when he’s wearing this Jersey, this Jersey, is it necessarily a look that goes with that kind of hat typically, but he is so aware that this is his brand.

This is what make him makes him stick out, that he keeps it on no matter where he is because that creates his silhouette literally and he put a silhouette around him, but he doesn’t wear it as much this time. You would recognize Rory silhouette by itself. Regular hats, like the one kid cudi hairs on the bottom left, quit necessarily make you stick out, but the fact that this hat is something that people typically don’t typically don’t wear, at least on his side of music.

In the same way, the Hat the future wears is branded him as a strong visual. Those kind of things help out, and then you have a mean a with the bananas. I mean obviously they’re super random, but the fact that he hasn’t consistently I’m the strong visual brand. You see a banana and you’ll think of a meaning, particularly anything music related. He saw a new album cover and it had nothing but a banana now.

You would first thing you would think would be a meaning, at least if you do know him other than that is being consistent right, because all those things and everything that everybody did was all about being consistent. Only once you do it multiple times. The people start to really relate it to you. They see you do it one time and it’s just like how they’re doing some fun thing or how they’re trying to get attention, or it’s a little bizarre, that’s weird, but once you do it multiple times, people really brand it and stick to you.

I don’t learn rules to abide by them. I learned them to know when I’m breaking them, so this alludes to that sticking out thing. I said at the very beginning: you have to understand the rules of your environment to truly be able to take advantage of the rules and then break the rules to your advantage. So you get maximum attention. You have to really understand what people other people are doing to really stick out.

If he gets his money he can build and then create more music and then get back to his fans and get more money. If you got your fantasy got your money, you don’t need anybody else. I wrote that I paid him type of salary to my employees at my business that got felonies and I can’t get jobs, no disrespect so who’s. The underachiever I own, my company own the asset of this whole industry, which is yo-yo masters yo, your intellectual property.

You know, send your publishing, so you know you your metrics and what you gauge in as achievement is actually like a peon or underboss we’re looking at it, because you know like I’m not in it for the fame. Everybody want to be seen and held at the highest regard. Obviously, but you know you can’t cash that out and can take that to the bank, where you can in other ways, but you know, what’s the asset, what do the labels do it, for they do it for the ownership they do it for the for the catalogue For the mailbox money, and so you know, I think if you up one, what’s what’s going on you’ll you’ll respect that you wouldn’t say do underachieving for that yeah.

He doesn’t need to get complex to give him. My a okay, you know it’s just like a metaphor for being a long horn. You don’t judge it by one leg of the race cause. If you judge me by my first leg, you’d have been like you know.

TOP 5 ADVICE FOR SALESPEOPLE [Gary Vaynerchuk]

I don’t understand how people think they’re relevant right like and by the way I think email is still the killer app. I think phone calls the phones incredible but but they’re declining in our attention. I have not responded to a bulk or even a one-on-one sales pitch, an email or phone form in a decade. A stunning amount of people behind that camera right now are not going to be successful in sales, because they’re not willing to work hard enough.

They love the automation, they love all these tools. The problem is, if you have the greatest hammer and the greatest screwdriver and the greatest wrench the greatest in front of you, if you don’t use them properly, you will lose right if there’s a nail that I have to put in that ground. But I take the wrench and I hit it when the hammer was right there. It still comes down to the practitioner mm-hmm and you have to be good at your craft and you have to love your.

If you don’t love sales, if you don’t love it, you have no chance, because it’s so hard, it’s so painful, there’s so much rejection right. So those are the things I think about different sales professionals. Reading. Where would you advise that they start in terms of creating their own content or sharing their content, adding their own context as well? You have to reverse engineer who you’re trying to get through. So I think the number one rule of salespeople is to listen. Know your audience know what they did. If you see an M & A just happen, if you see layoffs just happening, if you see one of them, if I see Burger King doing something, I’m thinking what is McDonald’s, think of Russ. So that’s number one number two: where are they spending time? Everybody as a salesperson has to figure out? How do they best communicate? Is it written word? Is it audio? Is it article? Is it in person and how to use the digital world in audio, written or vid you’ll form to create the gateway drug to in person? I look at sales very differently than the far majority.

I think way too many salespeople are patient or impatient. I think way too many salespeople are transactional. I think way too many salespeople are lowest-common-denominator. Spam blast, LinkedIn, email, bulk business card business card business card, so I think I’ve got a different tactic on sales, but don’t get it twisted it’s what I am if you’re not happy with your upside, if you’re not fully fulfilled.

I think a lot of you are doing things that are directly in front of you numbers that they put in front of you you’re trying to achieve that because you have a beach house, you want to buy we’re going that vacation sales is a funny game. If you work in a big company, they manipulate numbers to create your actions. I believe that the best sales people are doing things in a different way. I think you need to care about the customer for real reverse-engineer them and give them what they need.

I’m a better salesperson than you, because I’m the anti salesperson and I think that’s the best salesperson. Please understand that the world has changed in the attention of the person you’re trying to get to is moving into different places, and this big one stop complaining. A great salesperson shuts their mouth and she goes to work every day and tries to bring value to the end-user, and this patient and over time wins the marathon of sales put yourself in that position.

How To Start A Business With No Money

I’m going to be dispelling some myths that I’ve heard about starting a business. I’m also going to be showing you five business models that are the most effective business models to start. If you have zero capital start, if you’re just like nothing, you can do it with these five business models, let’s get into it.

So in this lesson, I’m going to be showing you how to start a business with no money. First off: what’s the definition of a business, I’m just going to do it real quick, it’s a person’s regular occupation, profession or trade, and this is important for what we’re going to go over next, which is I’d like to dispel some myths about starting business. Maybe you think that the word business is to corporate II sounding for you that you can’t start a business.

How many of you think that you need an LLC or some sort of corporation or some sort of legal entity to start a business false? You do not need actual like a corporation or an LLC to start a business all over the world. You can start a business without any of that stuff. You don’t need an actual entity. Another myth I’ve heard is that you need to you know a lot of my subscribers are based overseas and you think you need to be in the United States to have a business myth.

You don’t need any of that stuff people are affiliate, marketers! That’s what I do for a living all over the world, any country in the world. You don’t need an LLC. All you need is an address for checks to be sent to another myth. I’ve heard is that you need to be 18 to start a business myth. You can be any age and you can start a business. You can earn money going to have it sent to you, neh neh, another myth.

I’ve heard about starting business is inventory. You need inventory right, you need a product to sell. You need some physical thing that costs physical money to sell to start a business myth. Another thing I’ve heard is that you need experience to start a business. You need to have been working for years in an industry before you can go off on your own and do your own thing again myth about it, and the last thing is that you need connections to start a business once again.

That is a total myth and I started a business without any of these things. As you see now, I’d love to hear in the comments below how many of you believed one of these myths just say. I did or something like that if you believed one of the myths and name out the myth that you believe, if you want to play along, you need to be 18, you needed a business license or something like that name it in the comments.

No five business models that you can start without any business license without any money whatsoever. Many of you, if you’ve been following my blog for the last year or two, you have much greater experience in marketing and understanding, marketing and understanding how to get traffic than most other people in the world.

That knowledge is worth money. You can gain knowledge for free anywhere on the internet. Everything you want to know is available somewhere for free. If you just have enough time to learn – and you can sell that for money to individuals who want to learn about how to be an affiliate marketer or how to do marketing or how to market their local business, whatever that is, you could consult with them and Make some money another business that costs zero dollars to start is social media as being an influencer one of my income streams as being an influencer or on YouTube.

I make over $ 20,000 per month just by putting up articles and that’s by sharing knowledge. That’s by posting, you can put up articles on YouTube as well as long as you have a camera phone or any sort of camera. You can do social media, you can post images on Instagram, you can post articles on Facebook or YouTube.

Small businesses, local businesses, are being murdered by Jeff Amazon he’s just going to gnam down another business. You can start for literally zero dollars is drop. Shipping you have to set up a website, usually people do it on Shopify store, Shopify costs, zero dollars to start and people ship another person’s product to a customer in the US.

Now this is oftentimes done with Alibaba, most famous drop shipping website. The only downside of drop shipping is that it takes a couple weeks for the product to arrive, but the great thing about drop shipping is you don’t have to carry inventory. Okay, unlike Amazon Amazon, requires you to carry inventory in your store in order to sell it. You don’t have to spend any money on inventory to start selling products, you can sell products and, just you know, pay the supplier when you get money in and the last business, which is what I do and I earn about half a million dollars a month.

Doing this is affiliate marketing. This is how I earn my first million this. I earned my first ten million this hour. I know from my first: twenty million dollars is doing affiliate marketing, which is marketing other people’s products and earning a commission when that product was sold. What’s great about that is with affiliate marketing, you don’t even need a site. Okay, you don’t even need a website.

All you need to be able to do is get traffic post links and get people clicking on them. You don’t even need your own social media. You can post on other people’s social media, there’s a lot of advantages of affiliate marketing that make it, I believe, the easiest business to start possible and, if you’re looking at how to get started, affiliate marketing. You want to make money online, but you’re hearing a lot of stuff. We’ve tried a lot of things and based upon your own experiences, it’s been slow. A few wins here, a few losses here. There are certain segments of the population with unemployment, 50 % and that’s on both ends of the spectrum. People under 25 and people over 55 that’s a lot of people. You need to start the business now. This is the plan. This is what I have for you number one to make 1500 to 2500 dollars in the next 90 days. You’ve got to give a service based business. This is something that if you have legs hands a car, you can do grunt work.

You can get this business started, that’s not the hard part, and this is where many people start to stumble and fall. They go out. They hustle they get some jobs, they start making some money, then either they’re working or they’re, not working or they’re, chasing business or they’re doing business and there’s all of these gaps. It’s like feast or famine. It’s like hey we’re, making money we’re doing this stuff in the lull period.

Now. One of the reasons that these low periods occur is because of a lack of professional sales training. So you pick something that you can get reoccurring revenue. That’s first thing you do like. I said I’ve got to list the stuff toward the end of the article. Then you go out there and you execute now. This is the difference between you and other people. Somebody out there right now who’s, not reading.

This article is executing they’re building one of these service based businesses and they’re, getting money but they’re going to type out because they don’t know how to build a system and infrastructure, and that is probably one of the most valuable things you can do for your business. It’s incredible what they can do for your business. Now you hear a lot of stuff of everybody wants passive income.

I don’t do anything. I just sit back and collect the money, everybody that I’m going to group with that’s doing it. That’s a seven-figure earner or a figure earner they’re working their asses off every last one of them every last. One of them is working their asses off. They may not be doing a hundred hours a week but they’re putting in the good 40 to 60. They are working this passive income thing mmm, it happens, I have it, I’ve had it, but I’m telling you it’s very short-term and the market can change on you in a heartbeat.

So if that’s your only source of income – and it goes in the world – I hurt so let’s just let that go for now go ahead and get yourself some active weekly income, that’s meaning you’re, making money. Every week I don’t care from the beginning. It’s only 100 bucks. You can build from that and then once you get to 1500 2500 3000, then you can start pushing your internet business model. But the thing is you got to keep doing your service based business, while you’re doing your internet business model.

Now I’ve said this before so this several times, I’m going to say it again. When I shut down the upscale garage, sell through the illness and went into becoming an internet marketer, I wasn’t sleeping on the sofa my car was paid off. I had money in the bank, I was able enough money live off of two years. Why? I did this? My situation is atypical and there are many people’s like that. Guy looks like me, he did it.

I can do it, but you don’t know the details and I keep trying to tell people I keep laying out, but many of you are hoping for rain bolsters are going to come out of a unicorns ass and bless you with some magic jelly beans. It’s not going to happen. Many of you are trying to fuck with no pussy you’re lying. Many of you are trying to fuck with no pussy you’re lying. Many of you are trying to fuck with no pussy your life, but there’s no pussy and you’re wondering why you’re frustrated you have got to do something. You got to start building something and get busy and stay busy. Now. The next step is once you go ahead and get your business going up, then you have to scale it and you have to automate as many parts of it as possible. Like I said in the beginning, the article I have 19 free business courses for you, you you got, the information you’ve got structured courses is once again it’s on you to get busy now. This is something else I’m going to talk about, and this is a big problem.

Many people want someone else to do the work for them. You want someone to hold your hand now, as a business owner, that’s not going to work. You are going to have to be self governed and you’re going to have to start to scale your business you’re going to start pushing your business now. The third component of filling a service-based business customer service and back office. Now these are the two parts where things just really start to go crazy.

Like I’ll tell you something I’ll share something with you since we’re like friends and everything, hustlers kung, fu calm is free right now for a reason for me to gain static data that I would not gain any other way and I’m getting a lot of it. This is what’s happening, people are coming in and they’re looking at what the new stuff that I’m doing, they’re completely ignoring the older stuff. Now I just told you, someone went through the south support course and got its case dismissed now.

What does that mean? It works, but the information only works. If you work, it is a hundred percent free and you still have people looking for shortcuts. I’m not going to hold your dick dry dick, Danny mm-hmm, no, no! No! No! No! So it’s going to be up for you to go and shake it. Part of the problem here is, and I’m an internet guy, so I’m in this community that there are many of you who actually believe that you can actually go from nothing to a lot of money with little to minimum effort.

I’m here right now to slay that myth it doesn’t happen if it happens, is a typical and it’s not the norm, and you need to let it go and prepare yourself to work. If you do the work, you will be successful if you keep dilly-dally and waiting around coming up with these excuses. The next two years are going to pass next. Four years are going to pass. The next SiC here is going to pass. The next decade is going to pass and you’re going to be in the same place that you are right now now who’s going to be mad, who’s going who’s going to be mad, then who’s going to be mad, so go ahead.

Read the article get to the end. Look at that stuff check it out and start setting yourself some goals, because when I did the first 30 days to 2,500, it was a dude by the name of cleaver, and this is advice that I gave two and a half years ago, cleaver was like I’m On my friends, sofa, I don’t have a car, I don’t have money and I say you need to start a surface business and I’ve been trying to steer people to this.

But it’s like nothing. I want to do anything, but I want to live the dream chest during the same time. Few people can do it most can so. The same advice that I gave cleaver and he’s around he’s in the group is you need to start some kind of service based business, so you can start generating some cash cleaver within the matter of three weeks, went from nothing to. I think twenty two hundred dollars cash and he was on foot on foot – ended up buying the house that he was staying in with friends.

He did this in like six months. That’s the power of a service-based business. There. Some people took the original 30 days to 2500 and they’ll. Remember that same advice I gave two and a half years ago, I’m giving it to you right now, and this is your path out of poverty. This is your path away from this bullshit you’re dealing with now. Let’s have another conversation here. You got a job you’re going to have to work, double-time you’re, going to have to keep your job and then you’re going to have to work just as hard.

If not it’s hard on your business until it becomes costly for you to keep your job and at some point it’s going to become costly and that’s the point. You quit your job, because there are many people who want to just quit right now and they have no infrastructure. Nothing set up. So that’s it. So that’s how you make 1,500 to 2,500 dollars from scratch in the next 90 days by starting a service based business and busting your ass.

So for those of you who are still here who are not offended left the room but, like I said, I’m going to just give you a quick breakdown of some business models that you can use to jog your imagination, to give you some ideals and read that Section take notes and just push yourself to think of some – that you can do to get some service business based income. So with that, let’s get down to the examples.

Okay, this is the list of service businesses that I curated for you and the reason I say curated is all of these. Businesses have a serious component of reoccurring revenue. There are way more service type businesses that you can start, but they don’t all have reoccurring revenue. So check it out, you could do mobile spa services now with there’s a certain legal component to this, so if you’re already a massage therapist or in school.

This is something that you can do on your own. If you learn how to sell and book clients and get them on a monthly service, you can kill it, you could totally kill it now. Another service business that is tried, tested and true car-washing Mobile Detailing you have a spy posted up next to another business. This is tried and true it’s been going on forever, because if you have someone who is really busy and they have a luxury car and they have the income, it is cheaper for them to have you wash their car once a week twice above then for them To spend an hour and a half out there detail detailing it within their free time, because what people are buying is their their bonding time, they’re buying freedom.

So if you work 60 hours a week, last thing you want to do is wash your car on the weekend big big service, big opportunity. I have a friend who owns a car, wash he’s been in business many years. He does one point for the 1.6 million a year gross revenue washing cars, yes washing cars. Another thing you can do is referral service. Whenever you you move or sometimes you will get this pack of coupons in the mail.

That’s a referral service. There’s several different ways to do it, but the thing is there, you reoccurring revenue component, you go ahead. You start the referral service. You learn how to sell. You learn how to go out there and make things happen. Then you get reoccurring, customers, you know. If the customer gets a good result, you sign them up and then you’ve got ten people who are paying you them off.

You got 20 people we’re paying your muff. You got 30 people paying your month, it’s pretty pretty sweet. Another tried and true apartment cleaning. You go ahead and get yourself a few apartments every month, you’re working and the thing is to have that reoccurring, revenue to get to know the industry to get to know how often apartments have churned. That’s when people move in and move out once again a very lucrative business if you get into it right and you set it up right next thing is residential cleaning.

There are people, I have friends, who’ve had cleaners for the last 20 years. They do not clean their own house, they may do some light stuff or, but they all. This is for some people a necessity. It is not a add-on, it’s a necessity. So this is a great service business that you can create recurring revenue. Another one came out there copywriting. This is, for you know, people such as myself, who have to write a lot of sales copy who have to write a log blog post.

If you are really good with words, there’s a ton of business out there for you. So that’s another reoccurring, revenue model event planning now, there’s so many ways you can do this, you can specialize, you can shotgun or you can do you can do a mixture. You can take this referral service right and then bring it with the event planning. So what you would do is go out to 10 15 20 businesses and say: look I’m going to throw an event, I’m going to advertise the event and then you can come in and talk about your business.

There are people doing it on the high level, where it’s twenty five thousand dollars to attend. One of these events, so definitely just going to take a great deal of planning and execution and getting out there, but I’m just letting you know this is another reoccurring revenue service based model, I’m a service business model. Yes, a service business model and it’s just kind of crazy, as I said here and tell you this, because there are people who are doing this.

Every quarter they’re putting together these dinners with ten people at twenty fifteen grand a pop and they’re just introducing high influence people to high influence people and getting paid for it. So just something you think about and another thing window-cleaning, very, very profitable business. If you set it up right, if you put it together and once again it has that reoccurring, revenue component sales training as someone who has gone through professional sales, training and who’s gone through a great deal of self-education, I cannot tell you how helpful sales training is And part of sales training is marketing.

Part of sales training is developing your customer relationship management protocols. Super super important, and anyone that gets into a good sales training program will see an immediate increase in revenues. That’s how important it is. That’s why they’ll Carnegie has been around forever because there’s always a need, because most people do not know how to sell and lawn care once again service based business reoccurring revenue.

My long guy is two hundred bucks a month. Year-Round that’s the deal they do the leaves they do all this stuff and they just come three or four times a month and that I’m just speaking as a client of one that, if you’re busy – and you know, if you like doing your lawn and cutting your Trees and trimming the hedges, if that’s a form of therapy and peace for you, I get that. But if you hate that stuff there’s a ton of people out there who hate it don’t want to do it, don’t have the time and paying someone is just freeing them up.

So that’s another thing: now this one gets very broad hair care service. There’s a lot of sub components here, there’s coloring that people will just do colorist their stylist, there’s folks, who just do haircuts, I mean one again: people have to have their hair done once a month every six weeks, two weeks, something so depending upon where you are In that spectrum, because a lot of this stuff, you have to have a license, some of it, you don’t I don’t know – I don’t know but before you do anything, make sure that you go ahead and look at your laws and what you have to do to Be able to put your hands and someone’s head, but once again, once you get your qualifications and your certificates, whatever you need, this is a killer, reoccurring, business model.

I had a friend, he was dating this girl and he was just like man. She always has funny. Always has money, that’s like. So what’s your problem, it’s like man. She has a lot of money and it’s like he said. I don’t understand it’s like you know, she’s, a hair, stylist right, that’s, okay! They make good money, he said. No, you don’t understand. Didn’t kind of find out, she didn’t tell him, but I actually told him it’s like she owns the salon.

He didn’t know that he was blown away about how much money she makes. But you know she worked really really hard, but there’s a ton of money in that type of profession. Another service based business is handyman now in this economy. In the way the world is a lot of people not getting married. So you have a lot of people. Male and female, who are not handy and they will pay someone to come, hang a picture and they will pay someone to come do stuff.

They could do themselves, but once again people are buying back their time. So, instead of spending a week in painting they hire you, they go to the Hamptons come back, the walls are painted, handyman service, properly, positioned, properly set up can be very, very profitable and there’s so many different things that you can do now. Is this any stretch of the imagination all of the service businesses know what I did once again going back to curation is I put together businesses that have a reoccurring revenue model because a reoccurring revenue model is so important and if you hold on for a minute In the next segment, I will explain to you exactly why and how you can take advantage of that.

Most people who have a business, don’t have it. It is critical. It will make the difference in your business. That will blow your mind, we’ll teach you how to develop a sales pitch.

Many people don’t have one, because what I liked it, what I hear from folks is I hand out my flyer, I hand them my business card. Your flyer and your business card are not going to sell anything unless that person has an immediate need for your product or service. At that moment, if that need for your product or service comes up six months later chances are, you will not get that business? You have to learn how to pitch.

You’ll have to learn how to qualify. You’ll have to learn how to set it up, and you have to learn how to follow up. All of that goes back to CRM brand. Your business simple, create a sales funnel. That’s why you need CRM, build a web page that converts there’s something that I’ve been doing with some of our clients. That’s been working, amazing and you’ll. Get that how the market, how to find customers manage your back-office, a community of business owners.

How to Start a Service Business

How are you, What are we going to talk about today, Starting a service business, Exactly We’re talking about starting Your service business, I’m already dying to Know where do you begin?’Cause there’s a lot of things.

That I’m sure you have to do, but what’s first and foremost, Right and you have to take That first step of really figuring out what you want: You want your business to be Right, You can’t just go. I want to Be a service-based business! Well, what do you want to do If you want it to be something that you’re actually passionate about, because you’re going to Get a lot of the things that you don’t want to do like the admin or just the run-around.

And if it’s not something You’re really passionate about it’s not going to last. I love the passion component To me if you’re doing something that you’re passionate about you’re, going to give it your all your 110 % Right, absolutely You’re going to do the best work Right. It’s your! Why It’s? Why you do what you do Yeah? So what do you need? Where do you start So probably step one just to make sure that you’re productive is to buy a computer If you don’t have one, If you read this on a computer, then just disregard this Move on to step two, but That’s going to be step one.

What about a smartphone, though I feel like I do everything On my smartphone, You can do a lot absolutely, but it’s all about being productive. You can flip to different tabs. Go to different screens. Do a bunch of stuff that You potentially couldn’t do or if you have to go and type everything out on a smartphone. It’s going to take you a lot. Longer than on a computer, It’s good to have both, though That’s a good point.

Okay, so you have a computer got it Then. What’s next, I’m thinking social media, but that’s just’cause. I’m Obsessed with it domain, where do you go from there? So probably the next Step is to figure out what your name is and buy a domain name and get your social media handles. We’ve got a couple of articles. That we talked about really diving into Instagram Twitter and Facebook in the links or descriptions below As soon as you have that Domain then you need a website.

Social media is great, but you can’t always control social media. Do you remember Vine (, laughs, ), Yeah Yeah? It was a super popular platform Right. What happened to Vine Everyone invested all their time and it’s gone So all those followers went with it And with your website, it’s there to help. You generate Leads and you control it and it’s there for as long as you want it, And then you piggyback into social Another thing, I’m so just wrapped up! In the digital world, — Absolutely, But I was at a trade, show recently walking the floor.

Networking and I forgot my business cards And it’s easy to do’cause. I do so much in the digital world Right, But I got by, but I just am curious as a small business owner and the local heroes listening in are business cards still An important thing, Absolutely it’s absolutely relevant. In fact, I got a business card today and it blew my mind. The quality of it Right. Look at that Super cool There’s even a texture with the font It’s something tactile and if you’re on the go, sometimes you may not Remember the domain name or the handle, or things like that, but that business card is just something to really make yourself stand out, Especially if you got a cool one like that.

That’s different It’s a cool one. It helps you out. Did you want it back? I mean I might ( laughter ), We’ll get it later. I didn’t even notice you Put it in your pocket Yeah thanks Some place, you can get business cards. There’s places like Moo.Com, that’s pretty cool, There’s Vista Print They’ve been around forever, We talk about Canva a lot. You can create your own Business card on there They can print it off for you.

What do you use? I use Canva’cause I like to really design every part of it and there’s a couple of templates, but to each their own. Now, when it comes to Getting your actual work done, I imagine you need to have what An office space work space Space in your home, It’s going to vary right. Is that important? It’s somewhat important! It depends on what type Of service you provide, If you don’t ever really Talk to someone face-to-face, you don’t need an office, but if you want to be able To have meetings with people things like that, you don’t have to invest.

In an office space, There are a ton of just co-working spaces popping up all over the country. Some are free, some are Freemiums some are paid, It just depends on what the budget is, but with those co-working spaces. What I love about it is it’s Not only a place to work, but it’s a place to –, Free coffee, There’s, free coffee, too (, laughter, ), There’s coffee and Kick Flips, but it’s a great place to network And you get all these Like-Minded people around you that you can just piggyback ideas off of or find just complimentary businesses That maybe I’m a web designer right And you’re working there and You’re, a graphic designer You start sending me web design leads, I start sending you graphic design leads and your service just builds.

And builds and builds Or work at home Have a little office space. Something that’s just yours, free of distractions. I know I’m like a squirrel. I just get distracted all day, Just I’m working and Then Netflix will pop on and my dog runs by and I get distracted so what I like to do, Is go to a coffee shop and drink coffee, (, laughs, )! I love the working at home, It’s not for everybody, but — Not for everyone.

It is if you like to work in your PJs. That’s how I do my webinars ( laughter, ), Okay! So one more question: for you All right: How do you stay productive doing this? Oh, that’s! Tough! It really depends on the type of service business you provide. There’s not one answer fits all, but I’ll go over. Some of the Things that helps most people First off. You need some Type of productivity suite Most popular out there are Google Suite with all their Google Docs Sheets all that good stuff and then Microsoft Office.

I would almost caution people to have basically get a second number And what I mean by that is not going and getting another phone Right. There’s lots of digital services, where you can basically have Another number on your phone so that way people aren’t Calling you on your mobile line and you’re like is this personal. Is this business And then it gets confusing Separate the two Absolutely and then you Don’t answer like a weirdo like hey, this is Nealey’s Web Design and it’s your mom right.

You want to make it professional, so you have that difference. She’ll be happy to hear That you’re always working and working hard, (, laughs, ), She’s, so proud, (, laughter, ) And just separate your personal Life from your business’cause, otherwise it’s going to Start getting overwhelming, I say the same for social media. If you have a business, go And get a business page, Don’t use your personal page, Yeah Absolutely All right and then let’s Talk about getting paid, You’re a service business right, Oh right, yeah, You want to get paid You’re not doing this — That’s an important part of all this This is not just a hobby, Not just a hobby.

We all got bills, Yeah passion that pays Yes, lots of tools out there If you’re going in person, probably Square or something like that, so you got that little dongle and you can swipe that credit card. Venmo’s, probably my favorite just to read the comments. Personally, that people talk about, but quick and easy way to get paid, otherwise, there’s PayPal and Stripe for your website and things like that Sounds like a lot of options.

Why You Shouldn’t Hire a Digital Marketing Agency

Well, the top three reasons why you shouldn’t and if you do it’s going to cause disaster of frustration and stress in your business as an entrepreneur. Now the number one reason why you shouldn’t hire it is your marketing firm is especially if you are right now at the startup stage or you’re a struggling business.

If you don’t have the foundations of business right. If you don’t have your sales right, you don’t have the right team members, you don’t have a business plan, you don’t have the strategy set your foundation, their digital marketing is not the Silver Bullet. That’S going to take your business to the next level. So again, if number one reason is because, if you’re struggling right now, your business doesn’t have product market fit product market.

If you don’t have your financials in place, if you’re struggling to generate sales right, if you don’t have your basic marketing processes in place and you don’t have your operations in place as well, all these things are the fundamentals of a business, and when you don’t have This digital marketing is not the Silver Bullet. It’S going to take your business to the next level. You want to make sure that these are in place.

First, before you take your business and start considering hydrogen your marketing firm because did your marketing firm in most cases, if you think that they’re going to do the heavy lifting of all this stuff, they’re, not they’re, going to be only the ones that going to amplify. What’S already working or implement some core strategies, it’s going to take your business to the next level, for example, something will strategy my firm.

We focus on implementing traffic, getting your idea, artists, to pay attention to your business and be able to have hundreds of thousands and millions of them visiting your website online. The second thing we focused on was leads: how do we get them? The 80 to 90 percent? That went on your website that don’t, by the first time, start the communication process and then eventually third stuff and the most important thing.

How did we convert that into revenue and sales in your business at scale? Those are the only three core strategies that we focus on when you don’t have any of these in place, doesn’t matter how? What kind of industry and what kind of product or service you have audience you’re going for. Did your marketing will amount work for you? The second main reason why you shouldn’t hide digital marketing firm is, if you think that you can do it all on your own as an entrepreneur understand where have the lone wolf mentality, we think we are the gods that create the business and we’re able to go To market sell products, everyone should buy your product or service, they love it.

They love your business. You can do everything you’re doing all the marketing the sales everything – and this ties again. It’S you if you’re starting a business right, especially if you found Li the entrepreneur at the start, especially you think that you could do everything. You don’t want to leverage anybody, but this is actually a symptom of a more fundamental cause and which is really you’re, not open-minded to things, especially if you are not open-minded.

You think that you are the only one that can make the decisions, and you are the ones that can set the strategies and you are going to fight the process of growing your business with. Is your marketing firm that you should not do it? So another thing is basically: you are not open-minded, you’re, not open to new ideas. You think that the strategies that you have in place are the only ones that are going to work.

Then that’s why you should be working the firm, because a lot of times when an entrepreneur engages with a firm you have to be open and receptive to new ideas. You have to be open-minded to receiving critical feedback on your existing business marketing plan, your business structure, your growth strategies, because you are essentially enlisting a third party, a digital, strategic partner that comes in and looks at your business from a different point of view and sees Different insights and different answers and different things that they’re going to be using to grow your business at the same time, they’re also going to be incorporating their own experience, their be incorporating their own principles, their own strategies that they learn across multiple different industries.

And you have to be willing and open-minded to accept those new ideas into your business. Those fresh ideas could mean the difference between a good business, a business, that’s struggling and also a great and amazing business that continuously grows in a single year. So that’s why? The second thing: that’s the most important. Is you want to make sure that you, on the opposite side, our open-minded, because, right now, if you are not open-minded, then in most cases you shouldn’t be hiring as your marketing firm now, the third main reason and the one that we end with on what top-3 Is why shouldn’t hydrogen marketing firm is expectations? You want to make sure that you yourself going into any relationship with your market firm.

You got the right really. You have to write it agent. It takes more time more resources in order to get the revenue goals and the growth that you want in your business. So that’s one of the most important things. If you don’t have the right fit Asians, you should not be hind as you’re working firm and when you do, then you have a more thriving relationship with that phone now.
