And just focus on that. That’s your niche! There’s a famous saying out there that says you can’t boil the ocean and it’s the same thing as a Freelancer with your products, you can’t serve everyone.
So finding a niche is finding a specific Subset of your customers or the products that you offer And just focusing on that, So you want to take A look at your skills and see what you’re really good at This should include some base knowledge and even some trends, things That are really popular in the market today, So let’s say that I make pottery and I offer everything You could ever want Well, let’s say the Majority of my customers actually buy my vases’cause I have a really cool design and people love it, and it’s just the way that I do.
It is super unique. That’s my niche and that’s What I should focus on Kinda like that scene, in Ghost, with Patrick Swayze, on the pottery wheel. So let’s say that I actually Hate making those vases that’s going to be a big problem, because I’m going to focus on a niche that I don’t enjoy at all. So you need to take a look. At what your audience wants, but also what you want, To do and focus there So not just about the money, you really need to Enjoy what you’re doing So, one thing that you can do when you’re determining your niche is: you can create a persona For who is your ideal customer? So let’s say my ideal: Customer he’s an urban client he’s aged 25 to 35, his name’s Billy.
You know, let’s just give Him a name and a face, and so I can use this and anytime that I’m developing a new product, I’m always relating it back to that customer that I Am trying to serve Billy So now you’re going to need content, Content, content and more content, but the content needs to be specific to this person that you’re after Billy Billy, You will need to realize What does Billy look for and where is Billy looking for it? Billy’s a young guy he’s Probably not on MySpace right, don’t go there.
Maybe Not even on Facebook, Let’s say Billy for the most Part is only on Instagram, that’s good to know, And another thing to think about is how is Billy consuming this media? You want to think more Of just them blog posts, but you also have infographics Tutorials articles — Podcasts Exactly So. The next thing you want to do – and you actually should consider – is collaborating with other people in your industry and in your market.
So if I make ceramics, I shouldn’t see everyone else who makes Ceramics as competition, because I have my specific niche, they probably serve a different niche. So it’s in our best interest. To partner and collaborate so we can get to each Other’s markets and audiences and share the wealth, The key is consistency. What you put in it is definitely What you get out of it, and especially once you start to monetize like your website and your blog it’ll, make everything That you’re doing now so much worth it With.

Who is helping with your digital business footprint?
You can’t understand why they are not getting any new clients, despite having invested a lot of money on a shiny new website. Well, here is one of the reasons why this is the number of new websites being published every minute of every day. So, if you think publishing a website alone is enough to drum up some business then think again as you’re, probably not the only one.
There is so much competition out there that your website is probably drowning amongst many other sites like yours, but beside the competition. How do you truly check if your website is working for you and if you’re, getting your money’s worth in today’s article, I’m going to show you five key signs. You can check to really understand if your website is effective or if it’s simply an overpriced online brochure that nobody is looking at and what you need to do about it to make it work hi there.

So if you’re ready, let’s jump right in sign number one. Does your website get any visitors? Yes, I know for some of you, this is a very basic question, but for many business owners. When I asked the question how many visitors on average does your website get daily, the response is just a blank stare.
Why don’t you know if you open a brick-and-mortar store and no customer walk through the door? Wouldn’t you be worried, same rule applies to your website. If you’ve built a website and you have no visitors, then you should be worried and you have no excuse. Since you have all the tools you need at your fingertips, the most common one being Google Analytics. If you haven’t installed, Google Analytics yet check my article called Google Analytics setup and install for WordPress and Wix.
That should help once installed simply log into your business profile and click on the acquisition section on the left hand, side, menu and take on overview. You will see at a glance if your website is getting any visitors where your visitors are coming from and much more. It should only take you a few seconds. You can even install the Google Analytics app on your phone and check your site’s performance from anywhere.
So you really have no excuse. If the number of visitors is low, then the chances are. Your website is not working for you and that may be, because your business is not ranking well in search engines or more specifically, in Google, which is the second sign. We are going to look at sign number two: is your website ranking for any keyword for most local businesses? Organic traffic is the biggest source of visitors to their website, but that’s only if your business ranks for keywords.
People are searching for. If you don’t know whether your site is ranking for any specific keywords, just go to neil patel comm, slash booba suggests enter your domain name in the field and click on search on the left hand, side, menu, click on keywords. This should bring up a list of keywords. Your site is ranking for, along with their positions in Google search. If you cannot see any keyword ranking between position 1 and 10, then it means your website is unlikely getting any traffic from google.
Why? Because the top 10 results are on page 1 of Google and hardly anyone goes to page 2. Even if you see keywords ranking between position 5 and 10, you will only get a tiny amount of visitors because most people who conduct a search in Google click on the top 5 results. So what can you do if you are not ranking for any decent keywords between position, 1 and 5 backlinks to your site influenced greatly your overall keyword rankings.
It is likely you need to build links pointing to your site to reinforce your website Authority and increase your rankings. If you want to know how read my article called local citations and link building, but if you do have keywords ranking between 1 and 10 and the phone is still not ringing, it may be because of sign number 3 sign number 3. Is your website content good enough? Most people who search for local services online have a very clear objective in mind.
Their intent is often to call a business to either request more information about a specific service that provide make an appointment or fill in a quick form to request a quote. It is therefore extremely important. You include a call to action in a form of a button or a phone number on your pages that sits above the fold if you are unfamiliar with the above-the-fold concept. Here is a quick explanation in web design.
What is known as above the fold is a portion of a web page that is visible in a browser window. Once the page has finished loading information accessible only by scrolling down the page is what is known as below the folder. Having a call-to-action above the fold. Will ease the decision making process of the users? They won’t have to search frantically where or how they can get in touch with you, as it will be right in front of their eyes.
All they need to do is click or tap. So if your web pages don’t have a clear call-to-action on them, just add one. This applies to both desktop and mobile devices, which now accounts for more than half the visitors. Any website receives, which leads me to sign form sign number four: is your website mobile friendly with explosion of mobile phones and tablets? A few years ago, Internet traffic coming from handheld devices as exploded and even overtook desktop Internet traffic? If you run a website, it’s paramount.
It is compatible with multiple screen resolutions and, more specifically, with mobile phones. The way your website will be seen on different screen types will affect the user experience, but it has also become part of Google’s algorithm, so it shouldn’t be ignored if your website is not compatible for smaller screens you’re going to lose out on a big chunk of Visitors look at this example. Half the content cannot be accessed on a mobile phone.
Here is a quick tip to check if your website is compatible on multiple screens. Go to google chrome, install google chrome if you haven’t yet and type your web address in the search bar right click anywhere on the page and select the option inspect on the right hand, side panel click on the phone icon in the menu bar. This will show you what your site looks like on a mobile device on the Left panel to change the screen.
Resolution type just use the drop down menu above the website, where you can check what your site looks like on different mobile screen sizes and tablets. So what should you do if your site is not compatible with handheld devices? You simply need to redesign the whole thing, so it is mobile friendly, but beware having a mobile-friendly site nowadays is not enough, and this is what I will be talking about inside number.
Five sign number: five: is your website fast enough? You’ve probably heard this expression from the great fabulist named Aesop. You said slow, but steady wins the race. Since Aesop was born in 620 BCE, there was clearly no internet, otherwise he would probably say something different in today’s digital world. Speed is everything, and that includes how fast your website is. Loading. According to a google study, 53 percent of mobile site visits leave a page that takes longer than three seconds to load after three seconds.
You will lose half of your visitors. That’s not a long time to make an impression. So how do you check if your site is fast enough, use the PageSpeed insights tool provided by Google enter your website address in the field and click on analyze, wait for a few seconds and you should get a result ranging between 0 and 100, the nearer your Site is to a hundred the better. It is don’t panic too much if you see a law-school, even some of the major web sites out there, don’t get it right.
Look at Amazon, for instance, you can see the full breakdown of where improvement can be made. When you scroll down the page, to be honest, a lot of the breakdown data is meaningless to me. So if your site is very slow, the solution is to either talk to your service provider and see what can be done by showing them those numbers or ask a professional for help with optimization. The importance of speed is likely to increase significantly in the coming months.
So the sooner you do this, the better it will be. That’s it for today check those five signs now to see. Do you want to stay at home and earn a passive income, and this is what earning a passive income can look at now, you’re saying well, why would I want to go to the beach and have my computer? Well, you couldn’t go to the beach without your computer once you’ve gotten to the point where you’re earning that passive income – or you can just take your work with you wherever you want and that’s the nice thing about working online, you don’t have to be stuck in An office you don’t have to suck at your house, you can take it anywhere.
You want with you not that I advocate working 24/7, but isn’t that a nice little quirk when you work from home from your computer, so I just thought that picture kind of pulled. It all together we’re going to talk about affiliate marketing today, and I want you to stick around because it’s not there’s different ways. You can do affiliate marketing and it’s one of the easiest ways to turn it into a passive income, because basically you’re setting up systems you’re, setting up a system to build a customer base.
You’re setting up a system where you communicate with them through automated sequenced emails and you’re, building up a system of products that you know that people want that solve problems for them and it’s all set up on the computer. It takes time there is a training below 30-day training that helps you to start understanding that and start putting those systems in place. Everybody starts from somewhere.
If you don’t know anything, that’s okay, that training will help you. Now, if you decide you want that training. I have a free pre training that kind of helps warm you up before. You start the intense 30 day training so make sure you take advantage of that as well cuz. I know when I did it. I knew nothing. I went in there cold turkey. I didn’t know anything about affiliate marketing. I didn’t know anything about having a business online and I learned so much I was so excited, but part of my problem was there was so much to learn a lot of those terms weren’t familiar, so that’s why I made that pre training so that it is Familiar to you when you’re going to go, oh okay, I understand these things and it kind of will help be fast-track a little bit through your training all right.
So what are we going to talk about? Affiliate marketing, like I said, is the best way to earn a passive income and with what is affiliate marketing affiliate marketing is when you take somebody else’s product and you sell it for them, and you might say I hate sales. I don’t want to sell things. I’ve already done the vacuum, cleaner thing and the you know door-to-door sales and all that remember anybody that you’re my age.
You probably remember all those things. It’s not like that. You can learn how to set up things that stay in place: they’re evergreen and once you find those products that people want they’re out there forever. I use YouTube. Actually, here we are, this, article will be there forever and if people are looking for ways to earn income as long as the ways that I have listed are still out there, I will leave these articles up and continue to help people figure out what they want To do – and I don’t have to keep going back and repeating myself if that makes sense, and I’ve even put them into a playlist.
So if you click the link below for the playlist, every article has three different ways: you can earn money. This one in particular, though, has one because affiliate marketing is really what’s near and dear to my heart, because I definitely want to go for passive income. So that’s why I chose to market affiliate marketing and I don’t have to create products. I’ve done that where I’ve done the shows where I’ve made crafts items and I went out and sold them.
So I love to sell things. I’ve done eBay, Craigslist, all those things, but I had to produce the product. I had to come up with something to sell. So that’s why I love affiliate marketing online because I can sell other people’s products now, let’s start over here we’re going to get to that article. In a moment, I talked about YouTube and I want to show you how you promote the products using a YouTube article and I’ll use that one in a moment, but where do I go to find the products where you go Amazon Associates has billions of products you Can sign up as an Amazon associate and start promoting products? Now they do have a six month trial period, where you have to sell at least three items to stay with them as an associate, and it’s just their way of cleaning house what if somebody came along, they signed up and they just checked it out.
They’re, like I don’t want to do this. Well then their accounts, it’s there forever and ever so. Amazon has set up a thing where, if you haven’t sold at least three items in six months, then they just close your account and if you decide hey, I changed my mind. I want to put more effort into it. I want to come back. You get approved again, it’s not a big deal, it’s just a way for them to clean up all those dead accounts kind of like what your bank does.
If you don’t use your savings account, they start charging your money that Amazon doesn’t charge. You, though, all right, so you can go at now. I will say some of the products only earned 7 to 11 percent, but that’s okay. It’s a great way to get started a great way to find products and start learning how to do it and Amazon. Everybody goes to Amazon right, so you’ve got an audience already now. The neat thing I like about Amazon once you get, what happens? Is you’ll go in you’ll sign up as an affiliate and they’ll give you special links and I might say: well I want to sell camera equipment and things that are related to that.
Maybe I have an interest in photography and I love all the equipment things and I want to make a website about that about how to be a photographer. Well then, I can find products that match my website about different equipment and I can have an affiliate link and people will click it and when they buy it, I get a commission now, do you have to have a website? No, you can have what we call a sales funnel instead and if you click below into that 30-day training, you’ll learn about that sales funnel and how to build it.
But people have websites as well. So that’s how you make money now! This is the thing: that’s cool about Amazon. If somebody comes along and clicks my link when they go yeah, I like that camera, but that’s not the one. I want I’m going to start exploring and looking at other cameras and you’re like well darn it they didn’t use my link. Well, they did. Amazon will still give you credit if that person purchases, something within.
I think it’s the next 24 hours it could be 48 hours, but if that person, purchases other things and start shopping, you get a commission on all of it because you’re the one that brought them to the site. So that’s pretty cool now. Another place that you can go is Clickbank. Clickbank has everything? Let’s get rid of that page? Okay, when you go in, you can look under featured products or you can look under over here on the left different categories.
So let’s go under health and fitness, that’s always an easy one. You can go under health and fitness and look for products that you might want to sell, maybe you’re really into health and fitness. You might be into cooking recipes things like that, and you want to help people to become the best version of themselves that they can. So you just start again a website or sales funnel, and you start promoting content that is related to that and then start offering different products.
Now, I’m talking about a lot of things like email, marketing, content things that you’re like whoa whoa whoa. All of that is in that 30-day training, so it explains it there. Is it an educational period to this? You can’t just jump in if you don’t know anything and start making lots of money. You have to learn. So I’m not going to lie to you it like. Oh, my gosh you’re, going to make money by tomorrow.
You’re not you have to learn how to do it, but let’s go into health and fitness down here and there’s all kinds: there’s diet and weight loss exercise. Fitness mental health, beauty, so there’s all these different areas, you can go into, let’s go into diet and weight loss, and so here there will be all kinds of different products that you can sign up for as an affiliate okay. Under there, oh, they went in again.
Okay, so, anyway, let me look here: let’s go up here to their menu. There we go, we want to be in their affiliate market place, that’s where we want to be the bright things weren’t popping up for me: okay, here’s the categories! This is what I was looking for this page sorry about that all right: let’s go back down to health and fitness and it will bring up some different products that you can promote.
If you choose now there also, when you look at the product, one of the things you want to look at is this gravity score, see that GRA V right here, the higher that that grab a score is the more that that products been selling. It’s been very popular, see this one flat belly fix flat belly fix, it has a 209 I remember coming in here, and it only had like a hundred and it keeps going up. But this is interesting.
The Cinderella solution has bypassed it’s. Both of them are reasonable prices – thirty, nine dollars, thirty three dollars and you’ll make a commission off of that. So in what this person will do, when you go in there, they will provide you with all the information that you need to sell the product. They’ll give you copyright they’ll, give you pictures they’ll, give you articles everybody’s, different and they’ll.
Say here: go sell my product because it’s a win-win situation. The person getting the product product wins because you help solve a problem. You get a commission for bringing it to their attention, so you’re, happy and the the seller is happy because you’re selling the product for them. So it’s it’s a really good thing for all three of you, it’s win-win-win! So that’s another place that you can go.
You can also go to JV zoo, JV zoo, I’m not going to go inside, but JV zoo sells digital products, so everybody’s always trying to learn something so go in there and you can find different. Somebody might have a whole program on having the right mindset for health and fitness, and you can promote that as well. Now the key is, if you decide to get into affiliate marketing, you want to stay within a certain niche, which means you keep hearing me say: health and fitness, health and fitness.
Everything has to be related. You don’t want to just go willy-nilly and go. Oh. Here’s a bunch of products from Amazon, because people want to start to see you as an expert and so they’re going to say wow. She really knows her stuff. She really knows about health and fitness, I’m going to trust her when she starts promoting and suggesting this other product and that’s what starts to happen. They get to know you like you and trust you and that’s when they buy from you.
Here’s another cool affiliate program. I actually offered it on in one of the other articles, but you can become a travel agent affiliate, so you can go into Expedia as an example and work for them as the affiliate promote their vacation. They might say: hey we’re, really trying to promote this occasion to roam and here’s all the stuff. Can you go out put this on your blog put this on your website, wherever whatever platform you’re using or your sales funnel and you’ll, learn how to do that in that 30-day training you promote it and bring people in, and when you sell it, you get a Commission, so I think I just recently have seen that, but travel agents affiliate program that would be so much fun, especially if you’d like to travel now some people, let me get rid of that there – some people like to create their own courses, it’s called digital course.
Digital marketing and they will go out and create their own courses and sell them. Okay, where does affiliate marketing come in you as an affiliate? Marketer can go in and sell those courses for them, so that may be what you’re interested in is helping people become an affiliate, marketer and selling courses for other affiliate, other marketers other people who build courses. So this one is Kevin David.
He last year, I think, brought in ten million dollars, he’s really big. He is an affiliate marketer, but he also makes his own courses, so he sells his own courses and then he has affiliates come in and sell them for him and a lot of times. I think his are 25 percent, most people who make courses offer 50 percent, so I don’t know why his are so low. I just pulled him up because he’s pretty popular, but most people will offer you 50 %.
Another place that you can start if you would like to become an affiliate. Clickfunnels has an affiliate program, they’re huge, it’s a software platform where people make sales funnels and again that’s where you can learn in that 30 days, how to do it, but they also have an affiliate program. So all the different programs and training that they offer, which are down here at the bottom – let’s see, what do we promote? They promote click funnels itself.
So when people sign up for click funnels, you as an affiliate would make 40 % off that sale. They have lots of different training that they offer dot books that they offer experts secant seekers, some secrets. Here’s one here funnel script, software I think it sells. For around 500, you make 40 percent, so here’s another one freelancer secrets and create your lap type life. This is a lot of training that is being sold and I think it sells out people pay $ 49 a month to stay in that group, and then you make a commission off of that to get people to join that group.
So that’s pretty cool. A lot of people are doing that they’re, making membership groups for people to sign up, for and in this case, Julia choice and she actually has affiliate, sell her membership so that they can come in for $ 49 a month. So that’s pretty cool! You can learn how to do that. I will put the link below it’s called bootcamp affiliate bootcamp, but you if you want to go in there and play around and look around the the bee and the bootcamp is free.
It’s there’s no charge for you to become an affiliate and for you to take advantage of the training to be in that bootcamp and this particular bootcamp even offers you a car. If you get a hundred Philly’its to sign up for click funnels, they give you a payment for car every month. So when you see people saying I’ve won a car, that’s how they did it by getting customers into the click funnels account.
Alright, and basically I told you at the beginning of the article, how do I promote myself? You have to have a sales funnel or a web page. You have to have a storefront. I say this in every single article. You can’t just go on Facebook and try to sell things. That’s called spamming. People don’t want. You know that yourself. When people start Facebook messaging you and popping things up all over the internet.
You you pretty much, that’s annoying! You you get away from them, but you might find somebody. This is Heather Peterson, Rachel, Peterson and Rachel does a lot of social media management. She runs an agency for social media management, so you may have an affiliate program. Let’s say you get into affiliate marketing and you want to be on several platforms. Well, it’s very difficult to find the time to be on all those platforms.
It’s actually not suggested that you do that, but maybe you’re getting to the point where you’ve been doing this for a while you’re on five or six different platforms. Well, you would hire someone like her they’ll go in and actually manage those platforms for you. But how does she promote herself she’s got a article here called how to get comfortable on camera. That has nothing to do with her business, but it does have something to do with YouTube.
A lot of people that are in social media marketing want to be comfortable on camera. They want to be comfortable, doing lives and things so she’s, providing them some content. Now, if you go down here under her article, where it says more, this is where people click and they find out what else she has to offer. So here she says, get my free resources for social media tips right right here and you can click right there.
You can also go down and she might say, offer some other things. Um down here, get her free sheet cheat sheet how’d. It go viral on purpose, so there’s all kinds of different things that you can sign up for and that’s how she’s promoting herself once you get that free cheat sheet, she’s going to say. Oh now, I might offer you some training that I have and things like that. So that’s how it works. You don’t really go out there and blast what you have you kind of offer some free content and then offer things below that.
So I I know that was a lot I got wordy. I tried to go fast. I know I don’t like to say if you’re still here. Thank you by the way. I truly want to. Thank you. So without further ado, I’m going to show you a my laptop I’m going to show you some websites that are going to help you find just just premium content. So you know exactly what problems your audience is having and you can be the person that helps fix them, so they’re going to come to you for more advice.
So that sounds good. I’m going to take you into my laptop and show you exactly what I’m talking about. Let’s go yo. What is up guys, let’s get into the browser here. So this is my Facebook page, and I hope you guys are super excited, because all of this training is geared toward helping. You become an awesome influencer and just showing you piece by piece, really the best way possible, because there’s a lot of little elements right and if you read Russell Brunson’s expert secrets book – and you understand that this is where you’re trying to go.
It really is just about being like just a step ahead in front of the person. That’s trying to learn. You know you’re, not blazing the whole trail. You know. Maybe one day you will have that whole trail blazed but you’re. Basically, you blazed a section whatever it is, whatever point you’re at that you’re trying to teach somebody you’ve already blazed that trail and now you’re, trying to like show them how to get past that block right.
So this is exactly how you’re going to do that. The first step is we’re going to be on Facebook here. As you can see, my boy Marshalls live, constantly live, that’s kind of his thing and the way the way that you’re going to do this here is we’re going to go to groups and the cool thing about Facebook groups is one there’s a ton of them and Two, they can be very niche specific now. Maybe you’ve had a ton of people send.
You invites to groups kind of like this. You just have to decline constantly, but there are ones I usually favor, the ones that I participate in and maybe that I have a coaching thing going on and that’s why I do these so anyways. If you’re trying to find a group, let’s say you, you want your in a specific thing and let’s say just for the sake of this article, we’re talking dog training. Well, like you know, we’re looking for dog training and take your niche whatever it is and plug it into the search bar.
That’s all you have to do here and you could be dog training. It could be juicing, it could be. You know trimming fat off your body, it could be, you know, getting a six-pack, it could be marketing, it could be affiliate marketing, it could be social media marketing whatever it is, that you’re an expert in just plug that into the search bar and as soon as You do that you’re going to come right over here and you’re going to click groups.
Now the cool thing about this is: it is a super targeted area group of people that are into one thing and that’s why they’re in this group right. So if they’re doing dog training, this has 54,000 members, some are active. Some are not 14,000 members, 46,000 members and you’re going to want to join these groups. Band join, join, join and you’re going to want to be an active member in all of these. Now, for the sake of this, I’m going to look at public groups just because I don’t want to go through the joining process, but you will want to want to join the ones that asking you questions.
I just want to join one that is open. So this one has 46,000 members. Some of these guys are monetizing and they’ll be good examples for what you can do. If you want to have your own group, I don’t recommend it just because there’s a lot of groups already and it’s a lot of front-loading work. If it’s worth it to you, make group if it’s not use them use the group’s, because these guys have 46,000 members okay, so you can look in this one, because it’s open and you can just go in here and see what people are posting like.
You go in here and you’re like alright. One way is to search the group and you can see if there’s a well-known problem or you can go through and kind of see. Okay. This is 14 hours ago. Yesterday, you can see all the posts and the goal here is to see what problems come up most like what is the thing that just gets covered a lot and obviously you’re not going to see it in the first passing. You know on the daily and you’ll start to notice. You know have it have a set of notes. I always keep in Evernote this app right here and I always have like a list and I go okay. This came up. This came up. Let me just get rid of that, and you can see what topics come up on a daily basis. You can even keep like a little tally sheet and make a line. You know this came up and then you go with this came up again.
This came up again. This came up again and you’re going to notice what topics get talked about a lot. So this person goes. You know, question. I always walk our dog on a leash, but at least twice a week. We have a meet up. We meet up with an Unleashed dog. We try to walk away most most of them follow. What is the proper way to? Let them greet so far. My guy is totally tolerant, but will jump away if the rear end sniffing food goes on for more than a few seconds.
So already you know, I have a little dog, and so I can kind of like understand where the what the what they’re talking about here but see you can think here’s one topic. But you’re going to want to join the group, see what they’re talking about most often and see where you can fit in the conversation and take those topics. And you talk about them, put them in your words. So that’s that’s part. One part two here the tool we’re going to use is called answer the public, it’s a website, and they have this cool course here you can join if you want to. But what is the the best use of this? It’s a really really good resource, but what you can do is, let’s say: let’s, let’s keep it in line with our training, so this is consistent here, but we’re going to type in dog training or you’re going to type in your topic: social media marketing, fitness training, Fat loss, tech reviews iPhone 8, whatever it is, okay, so for this one we’re typing in dog training, just your broad keyword, whatever that is and right here so dog training.
So the way this comes up is it gives you a visual, but you can also just look at the data. You know the visual is kind of cool when you first joined because it’s like wow it branches. So many topics, but it’s really hard to read. So I recommend as soon as it pops up just click the little data tab right there, so it has to load it up. It’s not it’s being a little slow right now, so she in the meantime, let’s actually just I’m going to cut back to when it actually comes up and we’re back.
So, as you guys can see, this thing is populating with all of the data for dog training and, as you can see, it breaks it down into when why we’re who, which and it applies dog training into each of these – I love this resource. It’s super useful so, like I said, that’s hard to read, so if you click the data tab right here, it’ll make it an easier to read format. So, whenever you’re feeling stuck, you can just revert to it and you have all the data right there.
So that’s a super useful resource. Now, the last one here I’m going to recommend is reddit. Now, if you’re not familiar with ready, it’s basically just a mega mega forum, where you can literally find for the most part, 99 % of the time, you can find a topic that people basically congregate and talk about a certain topic. So if this is the popular page, so you can see each one of these is a subreddit.
So there’s one for pictures when for shower thoughts, there’s one for today I learned animals being bros. You know russians something about their funny trashy. You know a lot of these are like the popular ones that people are like. You know like memes and stuff, but if you wanted to what I was going to show you is, you could go to sales. If you are training sales, you can find basically a subreddit or at forum that is about you, know, sales and selling, and this is a community of 42,000 subscribers.
That’s been a community for over 10 years, so you go on here and this little forum, our sales, the subreddit for sales is all about sales and you know the best threads of year and then they have like daily discussions. There’s advice and people are constantly posting. This was posted an hour ago and you can go on here. It’s got three comments. You can also go to like the top of like the week and you can go on here and basically see what people.
What’s what have been the biggest discussions? You know, so you go in here like alright 17 days ago, but this is for the past month. So if you want to look at the entire month as a whole, you can be. I can all right. This is what popular here this is what’s popular and talked about the discussions, you know that that they’re seeing and what are they talking about and what did they find the most helpful, because your audience will probably find that helpful too.
So if you go to dog training, I’m losing my voice here, but guys like these are such useful resources like you, don’t need to pack all of the resources on you just need to go to the source. You need to go to like the newest stuff, or people are having conversations, because you and just find what works for you honestly, like just pick three things. There’s no need to overcomplicate this, but okay.
I must have made a mistake here: okay, that was still under sales. I think so, when you’re in another subreddit, you just have to make sure to clarify the search here so yeah dog training. Okay. As long as it’s not limiting my search to sales, then I think it’ll come up and you can basically just make the make the connection from there and go down to see this. One is dog training, I’m already subscribed to it.
I don’t go on there. The haften know to be honest, but yeah, so you can go in here and you can be alright. This is the hot conversations. These are the ones that are having you know seven hours ago. Look at that 18 comments. 31 comments. This is a very active community, so you can go in here and you can be like. Oh dog biting BAM. That’s a topic! That’s another topic! You know my puppy is terrified to go outside after being attacked. These are really really helpful topics. So if you guys just go in here and find the subreddit that’s like relevant to what you’re looking for chances are, it’s there’s people there’s a community that are talking about this, offering their advice. You know, there’s help tags, there’s community, there’s Bragg’s, you know like it’s.
Just it’s a really cool resource that is very diverse. You know like whether you have a question on fitness. There’s something here: dog training, there’s something here: self development there’s something here. You know this is a really big one, so make sure to use all of these guys. There’s groups, Facebook groups, there’s answer the public and there’s reddit like these are really important resources that you can go to to bring information and to your audience wherever that is whether it’s YouTube, whether it’s Facebook, whether it’s Instagram like there’s, tons and tons of resources.

So I’m just in my hotel room after speaking at an event J. After Black Friday is Sunday the past December, and I’m going to be singing at another event today, I just wanted to do a little recap on how all that Friday, emotionally so pretty much on Black Friday, we launched a new offer, which is where my audience could Buy my money-making messaging method, which is what we use to talk to people through direct messages and get them booking course and I’ll also give a bonus, which is an outreach trip.
So people could reach up central plans without being sleazy or salesy or, like you see all the time, not intent like hey. Do you wan na connect? I have this thing that I think it’s going to help. You know we have a much better method to pass. Retail and then we have the money messaging method, actually get a little cool to look at sudden already seen this way. That was one thing that goodbye, and the next thing is this sales script on north, which was just a sales domination.
Instead of just offering those products, we actually had a new low ticket front. So I did. Was I launched a new ebook which is five steps to getting 5 online clients and and then the other day on blackberry, a depressed but not $ 4 and $ 7? And $ 13 then $ 19, and so it was really interesting. Seeing purchasing interview didn’t really change one little s90 and then we also had an audible which is basically where you can take a box and add something to your purchase and the oil bottles of resources.
Hot, which is basically all the resources that you need to run your online coaching, slash consulting business, really affordable supplies. First, people from spending hours and hours in Google, manna figure out was best – I saw you know give them was actually going best, then, after that, after day, for our just even I taken the one-time, offer the or bump as well and then took them to a Next page, which was like wait, grab the money-making mystery method, it’s normally 997 dollars, that’s all going to be putting up.
This is my first order like that boy. It’s going to be selling more now cuz. It makes you much money. Basically, they can have the opportunity to just do a one-click, absolutely they dream up and then it’s automatically after that page, whether they case yes or no. It took them to the sales domination training which they could get access to or 297. I think of that, and then we increase that one in seven the money-making mystery method started at 97.
Then I went to one in seven then. Obviously now it’s none okay, so that was essentially what we did. We did interest me in that sales donation have another cell which is impact on our business. All things I’m about to share with you, but then that’s for mop, okay, they’re, going to pay on this month next month, racks of the three month payment that okay.
So basically, as you can see here, augers sales were 8.8 K, plus the wetback. So, let’s just say like that was around 13 gram, so bearing in mind we launched this around, I think it was 9:00 p.M. UK time on Black Friday, or am I’ve been yet social media? We launched it at literally 8 or 9 p.M. You cater to my email list. We launched it earlier, but from the email list. We said click here and I will send you the link.
It then took them into a messenger book, but my messenger bought automatically sent on the link, which meant I could manually pull up right because it’s awkward. If a messenger you send out like an osmotic link, and then you have a series going on all those magic messages, it just doesn’t work because it means that what happens is it’s really awkward because you’re just like sending automatic messages while they might be messaging, you Back and it just makes it really an authentic and it breaks the trust, which is why one initial automatic message will have my money: pull up wins every time.
I think that’s why we were able to generate this much in overall and being like under 12 hours. So costly routine, going on at all hours, but you said that a break in that data and then in here you can actually see the offerors overall volume himself from Black Friday and Saturday as well. Sorry, I complained one t7k and then that’s very possible. I think so I wrote it down in Grand in two days pretty much like 30 hours or so so, I’m very happy with that.
The thing that I’m not so happy about it’s, like all the tech issues that we have. However, me this isn’t a problem, because it means that I have now learnt from my nursery mistakes, but I’ve learned what goes wrong. Everyone work. What doesn’t work, how to actually get ahead. Specific things in the funnel are going to cause problems. So the reason why this excites me that I had so many problems, little boy is that now my high tech, a client, you join me and you get to like, let say 50 grand profit per month.
I can then actually teach them this booty, the one next library mantra they can bounce up, or, let’s say at some point along the year next year. I just want to do a load to get launched. They can use the exact one of the ideas. I know that I, why not very interesting if we go actually into the spot. Basically, what you’ll see right. The average cart value with eighty six point: two: nine dollars. This isn’t including the image on a business program, the simplicity sake, because we have a real problems with the check out on that, but all the people who thought just paired those six people who jumped in on the parent plan for 750 dollars times three.
They use a separate checkout page just because it was going to be them, but it was really interesting. So the money-making messaging method, we have twenty full sales on that, but then, for this sales trip only have five dozen rushers me, but I’m to make that offer more unit, because the revenue generated someone’s making messaging method was over double what was generated from the sales For this, why the father of the social script was a wrestler okay, so the money-making mystery method generated.
Let’s just see here, they generated three point: five K: whereas the cell script generated one point, 4 K and the e-book generated one point one game, and then how interesting is that? So that shows me that all marketing and everything for the money-making mystery method was on plane, and so it’s just made it really clear to me as to how I did them. What I did because on my social media and on my blast, I was sending out with what I was doing tons of testimonials, but am I making this team? Is it myself stuff? I literally did nothing so the fact that we generated one point: okay from that, it’s great it’s kind of like an extra bonus, because we don’t really do any marketing for it whatsoever.
So with that said, it’s been a very interesting learning curve and it’s helped me realize, keep moving forward with this one in particular, we’re going to do. We need to make the sales donation offer more sexy and appealing, because, honestly, that is a really good offer. It’s just like we haven’t made it clear enough inside of our actual marketing out. Quite how good bit so we’re going to welcome going just manuals that and marketing that out.
But then what I also realized was like having a page having like one author right, which is our ebook, the merging it was a really dirty choir with all of us that really works the order bar. If I can see yeah okay, I don’t know how to see exactly how many people actually took the order I’ll fill out and I’ll make another who’s like that, but the e-book below to get most the order. I know people took the order up, which is great, because that automatically pretty much doubles your average order value.
I mean when that you’ve it was $ 1.00 that took be our value from $ 1 at the $ 20 right. That’s amazing, so those that second thing is that most money messaging method marketing, so that was awesome sales needs to be better. Then it should we got having that extra step on the end, just annoying people we had tons of people emailing back saying I accidentally after that was like way more money than I was when Spanky’s can you from me? Normally we don’t offer refunds like on this.
One occasion because it was a new thing that I haven’t done before we gave it to them. Obviously I want to make sure that people are happy and go and they want, and then I know that they’re going to lovely got so much though coming around to throughout that, as soon as they’ve made enough money from the money-making misslisa things like that. So what we’re going to do so? The Monday is put that final offer.
The high ticket one, which is mid ticket, we’re actually going to do a really special offer for cyber monday, is the day of the online business, and this program is the impact of online business, so it just makes so much sense. So I wish I’d thought of that before, but it’s cool because all of my clients are online purchase and result set. So what I’m going to do them next year for my high ticket is I’ll give them this funnel.
That’s already done and filled them set up together. All the stress I’ve been through, but you read my youtube blog you’ll know how much I don’t so that’s and then I can say, look just hold something back for Cyber Monday so that you can sort of like sweet and review on cyber monday and say because I’m an online business you’re going to get all this this every Monday on my myths right make sense huh.
So that’s basically, what’s going on there, it was pretty cool that we generated over 10 grand in a day, but all the stress that was worth. I know that when we make our ticket, I think it sells. You know we make more than that. So was it worth it, it was worth it for me and my position where I help people with this type of where I help people basically build online. Consulting businesses, because for my high level people, then it’s going to be great, but if you’re just starting out in your new, it’s not worth time and effort and stress it’s you’re, much better off to just sell high ticket.
It was just look: let’s see how many new client I have. I had let’s see how many new customers right. Let me just pull this up right. Okay, so stripe is showing me that was a hundred and thirty seven new customer 137 us 137 new customers. Let’s say you had an offer like $ 3,500 right times: three that beats 10.5 K. So how should we generate? We generated just on Black Friday alone, 8.8 k plus 4.5, so I’m going to do 8.
8 plus 0.5. That comes out to 13 points. So let us say you offer is $ 3,500 nice. You would just need to make all sales $ 3,500 that would generate $ 14,000 right and it’s like all of this dress and a pur. Just I’m not complaining doing oh you’re wrong, it’s just when you put the numbers together, it’s a 137 new customer scenario. What we did or what easier when you have a smaller audience. I don’t know about you, but I’m going to go with the height again.
People think oh I’m just starting out, so I can’t you’re my ticket. Actually, that’s not true. In my opinion, it makes you more credible because you’re selling something expensive, which makes it clearly you’re good at what you do and if you’re not confident in the budget. You’re good enough of what you do is like, and you take someone to an outcome that they want. Can you fix someone’s relationship? Can you help someone lose that? Can you help someone generate 10 units per day on LinkedIn, for example, if you can generate an outcome for someone, you can sell a pipe to hit that high to hit wimp.
That’s why I teach my clients inside. In fact, your name is that and in high schools Academy and the five steps ebook how to generate our ticket clients and then the money-making messaging method and the cell domination. They are just tactics that we use to help them get to that outcome. Okay, so, for example, for me, my heart ticket program is impact schools, Academy, there’s a packet of that we have a continuity which is VIP or last month, depending on where you’re at and so really that’s what you need.
You need. The high ticket offer continuity and a high ticket open is to take your transformation and now get such good results. The one asperity, even if they don’t meet, you, don’t want it, and so basically, where I’m at with that, I think me I’ll go. This is success because I learned so much for me, my birth is a lot learning now, it’s not so much about the revenue that I generate, because I know that if I wanted to generate how much revenue just make a couple have tickets sales like it just Be me piece of me lighten our gene two tons people now my facebook profile is so restricted from advertising because of the tech issue on that.
So all this, without without page traffic, now look I’m not saying that to brag. I’m just saying it this! It’s true and I don’t actually think that this is ideal long time, because I know that I want to be running because I am a seasoned marketer. I know how to run them. I love them and I think that absolutely great and you open sea, you say I generate traffic just like I’ve done it, because it’s kind of like baby, I’m the Berlin Wall.
I won’t do that honestly, right. First agent. You know you need to get client to generate what was it 14 grand you don’t need traffic that you can do that through out the DM outreach that we give our clients, for example, and that then using the money, make investing method and then closing them up. Like that’s what we teach our clients to do every single day to scale beyond that in case we I’ve really highly beneficial.
I would like to be using them. It breaks my soul. Are we park use them right now, because it just blogging I’m working on facing. It basically ends with plastics motor. So basically, why not with this is like okay? It was a cool experiment, it was fun for me, my success is learning and growing and developing and the only things I can teach my class in the future, but I’m happy. I know that this time next year, when we have paid traffic, I’m pretty confident already alone, my goal is going to be 250 grand in revenue generated and the cool thing is.
I reckon a little that the economic margins on that probably about eighty percent, because even though it’s like unloading a tunnel, my audience is, like I mean really engaged, which is what and that’s what happens when you have a high to go and look, I never would Have come out with these strategies? These pencils, I didn’t, have my had to go because I named it like the money message. Method gives my hands again and then my audience saying that hey look whoa.
I want this and that obviously will help you to jump in Holland jumped in with me in the future. No wonder job is my: how to get people naturally often think that that’s what everyone’s going to do. Honestly. 27 people – hey your hopes up, LT, was problems. If people have a problem right now solve it through your hightail cool experiment, it was a little long and it was a lot of stress if you are starting out in Italy.
People will see me doing this now, but it’s like comparing your chapter 3, someone else’s chapter 50. I’ve been doing this for a long time now we did that very last year and you and I have a team who was working on this and so again starting out just do. I think you will be so much more successful and I’m just like a different state. So yesterday, or in the last article, article number two, I actually shared with you how to create a like campaign. But I just like to talk to you a little bit more because I’ve had some questions about the value of likes on your fan page and why? You would want to even have a fan page or run a light campaign to it.
So let’s just chat about that a little bit so, first of all, why have a fan page at all? A facebook fan page is a really handy attraction, marketing tool because it’s somewhere, where you can share your skills, you can help other people and while you’re branding yourself at the same time, so it’s an awesome place to share content and give value to your followers. So it’s also somewhere where you can get people onto your email list, and I think I actually mentioned in article to that.
A fan page. They are people on your fan page in any kind of followers in social media are a list in one way, shape or form, so it doesn’t have to specifically be an email list, but you can actually install what we call an app on your fan page where People can be directed immediately that they like the page. You can send them there to that app and they have the option to maybe read a welcome article and opt in for some extra value.
So that’s just a really handy little point there to know that you can get them to like your page and also get the lead all in the one step now. Also in your posts on your page, you can offer people other extra value if they opt into a capture page. So it’s a way of also getting people on to your list, but the moon. Our thing with it is to create a community of really dedicated followers who just really hang on every word that you say, because you’re sharing so much content and giving so much value now, like I said it’s a way of creating a community of devoted followers.
So you would set up, as I said, the new lights taken to the opt-in page when they liked the page and that builds your email list. And then you can move fans to your email list for office and more value really really important to have fans who are interested in what you do and offer so make sure that you’re very targeted. When you’re setting up your light campaign to only attract people who are going to be interested in what you actually do, talk about and share on your page and also remember that people have similar interests, like your friends, have similar interest to you.
My friends have similar interests and, if they’re, very interested in in online businesses and network marketing or whatever your page is about, their friends will possibly also have similar interests. And it’s very easy to read the friends of your fan page as well as their actual fans, which gives it a little bit of a capacity to go sort of viral. So that’s just a little bit more background about why you would want to run a live campaign.
It’S basically due to get more people to your page, so you can engage with them and give them offers where they might opt in to your email list. But you can share just as much value on a fan page, especially with what I’m going to show you now about promoted posts now promoted posts. Now that you have a fan page and people are liking, your page, it’s time to get them engaged now. I said before you want targeted, like so will be interested in what you actually post and you can then promote your posts to create engagement with it.
It’S like a paid advertising campaign. You’Ll remember when we went through all those types of ads page post engagement was one of the types now our promoted posts, an order for immediate sales and really neither is a fan page, it’s more for creating engagement and giving value. Rather than actually making immediate sales, so it’s for engagement, so let’s go in and we’ll do a live demo of a promoted post and I’m actually going to use article number one.
The post on my fan, page, where I made article number one and we’ll set up a promoted post around that so we’re just going to go um. Let me know i’ll just go back here and we’re just going to go, live to my facebook fan page now. We can either go in here directly to my page, or I can go in through manage adverts. I’M going to do this in power editor, so I’ll going through my page, which makes it a little bit easier now.
This might look different to you because I’ve actually got a business page and my other ones work more of my personal account. But this is my business page, my main fan page and over here on the left-hand side. We can go either to add manager or power. Editor now remember, I said: power editor only works if you’re using google chrome as your browser, so click here on power editor and hopefully everything will be up and working in here it’s been I’ve been a little bit obnoxious lately and it hasn’t been uploading everything properly.
So you can see here, there’s 27 changes to be reviewed. Usually, when I come in, I will go and have a look here, but I did try to delete some campaigns the other day, some old campaigns that I actually had created but hadn’t used, and there are some problems in there. So I’m not going to actually do that right now, so we’ll just cancel that now, because it’s not showing all of my campaigns for some reason.
I think I showed you this the other day. We can go up here and reset power editor. Now it will discard those unpublished, changes that are here, but I’m not worried about that at this Sophie, because I’ll have to go back and look into it a little bit further. So it’s just restating power now and now it should come up with all of my campaigns showing up so there we go they’re all showing up there. Now now we’re going to create a new campaign, so we’ll go up here to create campaign and we’re going to create a new campaign which is promoted article number 1 i’ll call it facebook article number one – might even just change that facebook article and number one promoted Post, ok, we’re going to leave it at auction buying type and we need to click on here and put the objective in here and we’re going down here to page post engagement and that’s an advert that boosts your posts.
Ok, click. There will create a new Adsit. So we’ve just got to check here to choose that to create new over and we might put this one in the news feed so we’ll just call a promoted post for the news, feed. Ok and now we need to just go down here and create the ad and we’ll just put news feed, add one and create now it won’t have made all of the creatives. If you remember from last time we did this, so we’ve got to go in here.
Now and edit up our campaign, so everything is pretty much set up in here. I don’t want to set a total advertising campaign budget for this one. So that’s all done now. If we just click here, this will take us to the ad set that we created and I want to edit it well. It’S actually got it all up here now, so we don’t even have to click on edit now daily budget. No, I wouldn’t want to spend $ 11 for this one five dollars daily um.
I will leave the end run. I can close it off whenever I want to now I’ll need to set up a audience, so I want to set up a new audience. So, let’s edit this audience now, it’s already got Australia there. As I said last time, that’s the default city. So I want to add: the united states are here perhaps the United Kingdom and Canada, so they’re the main sort of english-speaking country, so I’ll use those.
Now the mercy of people on my page is slightly older, so rather than 18, maybe we’ll set up for 35 and older and I’ll live it. It all men and all women English. I don’t know if you had to fill up on in, but I always do and now we’re going to go down here to detail targeting now. This article is about advertising on Facebook. So it’s going to be appealing to people who have a network marketing business or an affiliate, marketing business or people in specific companies.
You know network marketing companies, things like that. So, just depending on how you want to set up your ad and who your avatar is. I think really carefully about the targeting, so just for now and for times sake I’ll, just target affiliate marketing people are interested, so that’s an interest in affiliate marketing and we could also do network marketing so as an interest network marketing. So that will do but depending on who, your avatar is think very very carefully, because you want it to be appropriate to what the post is about.
Also are congruent with what your page is about, and we could also have a look in there and see if I’ve got anything about Facebook market and they do and perhaps even Facebook leads it doesn’t have. Facebook leads okay, so we’ll just leave it there at those three now we can include connections like we can include people who are like my page or friends of people who, like my page or I can even exclude people who, like my page, so i’m just going To leave that blank for now and click on save, so that’s our ad set audience setup.
Now we’re going to move down here and choose the placement now I’ve call it newsfeed, so we’re going to get rid of mobile, Instagram and right column and just leave it as news feed. No, it’s all set up here, page post engagement and automatic, so that is pretty much done now. So I can review those changes now. What is our there’s? No ad set up yet so that’s, okay! So we’ll click here on ad sets and now it’s going to take us to adverts.
You can see that and we’re going to need to edit our advert. Now this is a post engagement, so we need to choose the post, but first of all we need to choose the page, and this is the page. I don’t want to do it on Instagram and I’m going to use an existing Pope. So here we go here. We’Re going to select a post, so let’s just go down here and it’s this one here so we’re going to that’s the post that I want to promote and that’s pretty much it all set up and ready to go.
So then we would just click on review changes and it’s up and running and ready to go and our promoted post is being promoted to our audience. So basically, that’s the logistics. Now I’m not going to set this up because I would target it a little better. I’Ve just done that show you how to actually set up a promoted post now you can also do a boosted post just from the post. So if we go back here to use the page and if we just find one of our posts, you know this is a blog post um.
I could actually boost this post. If I wanted to and i’ll just show you how you do this, it’s not there’s not as much optimization and everything from a boosted posts. So it’s a kind of a quick way of doing it and kind of in a way, I suppose, a lazy way of doing it. But i’ll show you how you actually just go in and quickly boost a post, so you can have it either in desktop newsfeed or mobile news feed, and you can target people who, like my page, people who, like the page and their friends which is you know, Quite a broad targeting or you can choose people through targeting, but it’s not going to be as targeted targeting.
If you get what I mean as it is, if you go in and create an ad for a page post engagement, then here you can set all the same things you can set the budget you can set, how long you want it to run to so pretty Much it just doesn’t have as many options as the other way and then you just click boost, and that would be shown to Sean to whoever you indicated here in your audience. So that’s another way to just boost a post really quickly.

Now I want to keep these articles quite short yesterday or in the last article I said I was going to talk about events and how to promote them today, but it’s quite involved, so I want to leave it until the next article. I think Property or maybe selling on Amazon or starting another business here, maybe They become a coach or they look at all sorts of things, but really they Haven’T found their thing and what I always suggest when they ask me this, I Say Chris, what should I do? I said there’s one thing and this one Thing is the easiest thing to start. It gives you the number one skill to grow. Your business, any business long-term and it’s going to set you up for your future.
When you decide what it is, you really want to do and you can get paid really. Really well for it, and that is becoming a digital marketer. Here’S why it’s so Great number, one being a digital marketer. You can work part time also Being a digital, marketer, you’re able to solve a big problem for businesses, which Is getting them leads? Another thing that I like about it Is that it’s a science marketing is a science.
It’S really simple: it’s not a Huge crazy science. We have to learn all sorts of things. It’S just step by step. What you do for one person you do for every other one, here’s what I also like! About it is because you solve a big problem, you can make lots of money in Fact, a client of mine is making sixty thousand dollars a month working about Thirty hours a week – and I don’t know about you but 60 grand a month – that’s About seven hundred twenty thousand dollars a year 30 hours a week, would Sound pretty good, but here’s.

It is your favorite right, It is my favorite No well, I don’t like To choose favorites So we’re talking about Facebook for your business – Maybe I just have a personal page and I’ve decided – maybe it’s Time to create a business page for my business right, What are kind of the First, steps that I need to really think about Well you’re, already, Off to a great start, You wan na go to a business page And that’s really important.
Because then, you get the ability to track metrics and analytics So absolutely business. Page over personal page And then from there You wan na make sure you set up your profile. Get that profile photo. Usually your logo works great or maybe, if it’s your personal brand use a great headshot of yourself and then take that cover photo to really showcase your Products or your services and then from there make Sure all your information is up to date And that Is really important? Your hours, your website, Your phone number 100 % And make sure that lines up with your Google And your Yelp listings too Right I went into a coffee shop recently I Was in northern California, You drink a lot of coffee, ( laughing ), It’s true And the cashier was looking At me, like I don’t know like, maybe she wanted to rush me and I’m thinking they’re Open for two more hours, what’s the deal, ( laughing ) Sure enough, they were Closing in five minutes I go, but your Facebook says and I wanted to Go into my spiel like this, but I saved it got a quick Coffee to go fortunately, but that’s the whole point.
I left with a customer experience that wasn’t as ideal And then onto probably one of the largest most impactful components: content Right, always preach Quality over quantity Yeah, so you definitely Want to make sure you vary your content, So mix it up. You know you don’t Wan na become predictable; Okay, And you also don’t want to turn into just a business always talking about yourself right. It becomes so salesy.
When it’s always about me, me me So salesy me me me: yeah, Buy this, buy that Yeah sell, sell, sell; Rather you want to Tell tell tell Exactly ( laughing ) Throw something out there. That’S entertaining I mean social media is escapism. Oh yeah, Throw in a good laugh But also educate me, So I always tell my friends: That I follow my dentist on Facebook and they look At me, like I’m crazy, Why right What And it’s because my dentist Shares really educational tips and tricks like how to whiten my teeth without spending hundreds of dollars.
I saw also my yoga studio was just giving a friendly Reminder to stretch how to maintain the zen, which Is really important in life? Absolutely Also, sharing testimonials that you’ve already Received on Yelp and Google and turning it into a Facebook post Right repurpose that content Take that review. Let’S Say it went on about your your ice cream, you’re an ice cream shop, And the review goes on about How you have the best flavors, but the ultimate flavor Is definitely rocky road, Absolutely Yeah, it’s the best Hands down.
So you have that review that the customer went on About your rocky road ice cream and then use Canva or Something and in the background of that review and select A picture of the rocky road on a nice ice cream cone. It really brings it to life. For those of you that don’t know, Canva is a free website that Has all sorts of templates and kits and graphics For literally all things that you could possibly create Like social media templates, Facebook headers all that Good stuff and it’s free – I use it pretty religiously, Also article, So I’m a huge advocate, Of article I love article Just keep it on the shorter Side, attention spans are short Seems like under two minutes: Or so under three minutes Yeah.
Definitely I would even a minute is good and also doing behind the scenes footage. That’S one of my favorite things about following local businesses is like well, I wan na know how This all comes together And showcase your staff And also repurpose anything your customers take User generated content And I think what gets A lot of people hung up on, creating article is, maybe they don’t have a production set like we do right, (, laughing ) And that’s okay.
Our smart phones are Pretty darn good right, Yeah they’re, pretty smart, Take a article with your phone and even it doesn’t have To be the best quality Go behind the scenes. People like that story like to see the other side of things, and it really helps them. Relate to who you are as a business owner You’re, not just some faceless company. So next up we have these groups. Can you tell us a little Bit about what the Facebook groups are and how I can potentially leverage It as a business owner Yeah, so definitely Encourage you to pay attention to other like-minded Businesses, but also groups to piggy back off the Engagement, you already have, I will say, content is Where you wan na spend most of your time, but Groups can be an advantage to getting your business More exposure for sure, So next up we have advertising.
What do we do with the Paid advertising aspect Yeah, so it’s no secret. Facebook has gone on Record to say organic reach is on ( whistling ) the decline Don’t give up on it. Organic content is still Alive and well and breathing, but I think Facebook posts that you boost has a lot of potential and you Can reach a targeted audience, which is one of favorite things about it? You can start off with like five bucks and you can get in front Of a specific demographic age group, zip codes and That way, you know your post is going to reach the right people And with I would kinda Look at the post that maybe have done the best And then boost those and get those that reach out.
That’S a really good point. Thank you for bringing that up. It’S usually ( laughing ) Wait you’re the expert ( laughing ) I dabble So with Facebook. It’S you wan na go ahead and let the post that you’re Doing hang out organically for a little bit, Let it chill see how it Does garner some reach Now once it garners some Reach then boost it, That’s what we found to work best While a lot of people. I Speak to think, there’s no way to track this to ROI.
That’S a total myth. You can actually go ahead and look at it’s called your insights tab and it breaks down everything. You know what your audience is liking engaging with. Are they Clicking on the links, what time of day they’re doing this, and when you look at all of that and really understand it, the insights you can truly be informed about. Where do I go from here right Like? Where do I go from When it comes to which days work best to post, what Time of day works best Does my audience prefer The entertaining posts more than the educational And on which days And from there you can truly Come up with a great strategy, What happens if I’m not Getting maybe the engagement that I want? Are there any like, like Just great pro tips or boosts that I can do to help me.
Just skyrocket and get in front of those people Yes, Contests: Okay, how so So recently, I saw this cafe that had a special music guest coming in and they encouraged their Audience on the Facebook post, which is like promoting the music, Okay, yeah Comment below and tag a friend and then they’re going to do a random drawing, and it’s like two free Tickets to the show That quick little tag, A friend now becomes just free advertisement for you and it’s costing you a couple tickets or maybe a free, drink or free burger.
Exactly Or whatever you do, You could also ask a question: What is your “ go, to” order when You come into our restaurant Or, what’s you favorite thing on the menu and your favorite person to dine with, And so it’s your customers Spreading word of mouth about what’s great to eat So on Twitter and Instagram Hashtags are super relevant, but I don’t always see It as often on Facebook Are they a thing.
Absolutely I mean here’s the thing when it comes to using hashtags Whether it’s on Twitter or Instagram or Facebook, Or if you’re just posting either way you got ta monitor it, because it’s going to be Different for each business, It doesn’t hurt to use Them just be mindful and use relevant, hashtags Perfect and probably only one or two Don’t go overboard. Just a few Yeah, you don’t need to go overboard.
