How to Grow Your Business with YouTube (Best Marketing Strategy)

So, who is this article for this article is for anybody that wants to be an entrepreneur and start a business online so that other people can see that product that you have to give it’s all it can be for new businesses.

Maybe you’ve never done anything or maybe you’re already established. Maybe you already have an established business on your Facebook, blog or Facebook group, or maybe on Instagram and you’re ready to do something different. This is for you one more thing. I it’s only for people who want to take it seriously if you just want to play around you’re, not really sure you can’t come on here and make a article here and there and think it’s going to take off.

So, if you’re ready to make a commitment and you’re ready to really provide some content to grow your business, then you’re in the right place. Let me ask you a question: what, if you could get thousands or millions of people in front of your business? What would that do for your business, thousands or millions? You can do that on YouTube. You have seen some blogs that have literally 1 2 million followers.

Now imagine getting your content out there and have that many people reading you and seeing the content that you’re providing that has to go with your business. It is a numbers game if you’ve already been around. You know that so the more people, the more traffic that you have, the more people that have their eyes on you, the more growth that you’ll have and the more chances that you will have and being successful and selling through your blog, and that happens through the Links below we’re not going to talk exactly how to monetize YouTube in this one, but I’m going to tell you why you want to use YouTube to grow your business now before we start, I wouldn’t tell you explain to you how YouTube is different than other forms Of marketing, basically there’s two forms of marketing: one is called interrupt, based marketing, and then you have search based, think of interrupt based when you are reading TV and you’re reading your favorite show and then all of a sudden all these commercials come flying at you.

Ok and you’re, like I didn’t ask for that, I don’t really care about Gillette. I don’t shave my beard and I don’t really care, but there’s all kinds of commercials popping on. I didn’t ask for them to be there. They were there. They were interrupting. What I was doing it happens on Facebook, it happens in Instagram, you’re scrolling down going through your newsfeed and Facebook and all of a sudden, all these commercials and ads or ads are popping up, and you didn’t ask for those, and you probably prefer them not to Be there and isn’t it uncanny how they’re usually ads the things that you’ve been searching for, so there is no privacy on Facebook or online if you hadn’t known that, so how is YouTube different? Well, YouTube people are searching for you, they’re saying you know what I want to learn more about health, and fitness and vanessa has a blog she’s, providing recipes every day that that are healthy and nutritious, and I want to follow her and that’s what how people find You they come to you, you don’t come to them.

Now, it’s a little bit more complicated than that. You have to have certain ste search words and things like that. So write this down, that you want to do a little bit of cert research and search engine. Optimization but for today we’re not going to talk in detail about that, but that you definitely need to know a few things like that. But let’s just talk about why you want to be on this platform, all right so number one is: it will help your business grow.

I mean it’s that simple, but you have to be very consistent when you start making YouTube articles you want to make them on a consistent basis and honestly, in the beginning, the more you make the better because you’re just telling YouTube that you know I’m really serious About growing my blog and if you do want a week in the beginning, it’s just going to take that much longer for them to see that you’re serious, because if you did one a week in a year, that’s only 52.

If you do one every day in a year, that’s 365, you have to decide what your goal is. My personal goal has been to make 400 articles in a row and then I’m going to back it down, but I want YouTube to see that I am serious about growing my business and that has been my goal and I think I’m pushing 200 something. As of this article, but I still have a ways to go, but that’s my goal and I know I need to be consistent.

You also need to learn about engine optimization. You might say I’ve got this really good idea about making articles. Maybe you want to teach people how to paint. I would think that would be a good article or a good series, but I don’t know I don’t paint I’m not in that field, but maybe you want to start selling art lessons or something in a digital course, and so your articles have to do with tips And things about art, but maybe there aren’t a lot of people out there that want to learn that and maybe you’re finding that that’s not something that that’s going to be popular.

There are ways: there’s software out there, there’s tools out there that will help. You take your idea and research it and, before you start making articles and building a business from the ground up make sure it’s something that people are searching for. That’s the secret. You don’t tell people what they want, they tell you what they want and then you go. Ah lots of people want to learn how to train dogs.

I’r going to start making articles about that because that’s something that’s being searched. Okay and then maybe you’ll start a Shopify store, selling dog equipment, bowls and leashes, and things like that. Those are just ideas, I’m throwing out there and you want to provide content. Okay, when you’re making the articles you’re just not making willy-nilly different articles, they all have to be cohesive and about the niche that you’ve chosen all right.

So you’re letting YouTube know that you’re, serious and once YouTube knows that you’re serious. They will reward you they want. You to be successful because they can start putting ads on your articles once you’re able to monetize. There are certain mile markers you have to meet before you can monetize anymore and I’m not going to share those because I’m sure they’ll change over time. But if you can monetize and you’re providing content, then you’re providing YouTube a platform where they can put ads it’s a win-win situation for everybody, all right number: two: why do you want to use YouTube? It builds trust with your audience.

If they see you and see your face every single day or four times a week, they get to know you. You know yourself how many stars or people do you read on TV or do you read on YouTube and you feel like you know them, because you get to see them all the time, so you building trust and you’re there consistently in front of them. Now you might say: well, okay, I’m sold I’m going to do it, but I’m afraid I’m really afraid of making a article.

I’r afraid I’m going to look stupid. I don’t know how to do it, everybody’s afraid. In the beginning, everybody, we probably all look kind of silly in the beginning, because we’re not really sure what we’re doing and, as the time goes on, you just keep getting better and better and better. And I think the neat thing is about having your sucky articles. In the beginning is eventually I’ve seen people do it that have been around for 10 years and they’ll go and you look at them and you go man they’re out there on the stage and all kinds of things and then they’ll show you a article of when They first start and you’re like oh my gosh, I’m not that bad.

So just know everybody starts from nothing. My first article I made I made it on Facebook. I was scared to death and what I did just to practice get in front of the camera, and you might do this at first maybe get on Facebook, and I did a how-to article cuz. It’s easy to show people how to do something that you already know how to do and what I did actually now that I look back. It was really fun, but I did a how-to article on how to make fire starters and what we do is we take egg cartons.

We fill them up with sawdust my husband’s in construction, and then you melt wax my mom loves to go to yard sale. She, and I said just go, find me some old candles, so that’s one of her little things that she does and I just melt them down, and I did it right there on the article and I was surprised how many people enjoyed it and I had a Lot of views now that wasn’t so bad, but then I was in a group a course that I was taken and one of the challenges was to be personal.

To share a personal story. Well, I thought I was going to die sharing the story because it’s just when you have to start talking about yourself. It is a little bit different and my heart was racing out of my chest. I had everything written down word for word. Actually, I had it right on my computer and what I do now is just make bullet points, because I don’t want you to see me reading. That’s not what this is all about, but in that particular day that it was my first time I had everything written down, I’m sitting there scrolling and reading and before I sat down I’m just going to be honest with you, I had to go.

Take a drink, a shot of whiskey i-i. Don’t typically do that very often, but I was like I think it was like two o’clock in the afternoon, but I was like oh my gosh and, and I I just I could not get through it, but once I did it, this is the key once I Did it – and I saw that nobody sent me bad things, a lot of my friends who loved me. You know they’re going to say everything. Nice anyway said you did such a great job and the funny thing that happened.

I started doing articles after that and again it just became easier and easier and easier, and it’s funny my mother’s in her 80s and she has a cell phone, and you know how, when you read one article from someone, if you don’t know how to get out Of that article off that person’s page, every article they make will keep coming up. Well, I think about this time I had made that role and they’re on Facebook.

My mom calls me she goes. I had my phone on today and you just kept popping up one after another. She goes all day long and I’m thinking, oh, my gosh, so my I think it’s kind of funny, so my mother became my best fan, so it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, and you know what people love you they love you just the Way they are, and and if somebody’s going to be mean and tell you you suck, then you don’t really need them to be your friend.

After all, do you so it just keeps getting better. It really does, and it just keeps getting easier and and today you’re reading this and two years from now, you’re going to go man that article is bad, so it just you just keep getting better. It’s like anything that you do another thing number three: why do you need to put your business on YouTube? Is you can build your fanbase you’re, actually building numbers you want to get hundreds and hundreds of thousands.

I am have an influencer that I follow and I’m saying just less than a year ago I was following her and she was around oh, my gosh, maybe three hundred thousand followers and already she’s up to like a million. I mean it just it just tripled and she said the funny thing is once you get a momentum going you you just keep getting more and more subscribers in the beginning, it is like pulling teeth. It’s really hard because you’re brand new, nobody knows who you are YouTube is reading.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SLYKeXWuY3Y

They want to make sure you’re serious, so they’re not going to throw to you out there too much. So it takes time in the beginning, but once you build that fanbase people will start clicking your links down there in the description. That’s where sales happen down in there or you take them to a landing page in those descriptions or you’re, giving them free things to get their email address. So there’s a whole process, like I said through there, okay, so number four.

I want to emphasize to you that making a YouTube blog and providing content in your youtubes, nothing bad is going to happen. There isn’t anything bad that can happen. Think about it. Usually, when I start out on a new endeavor, I always think. What’s the worst thing, that’s going to happen, I do that. Even I remember when I was younger. Even if I was going to speak, I would think. Okay, what’s the worst thing, that’s going to happen well, you’re going to get a ticket and I’d say: okay, I’m willing to pay a ticket cuz, I’m really not hurry to get to where I’m going and I’m willing to pay the price.

So with YouTube, though, there is no price to pay. The only thing you’re going to lose is some time but you’ve in that time. This is the thing you’re not really losing anything, because your communication skills will get better. Even if you stop the blog and you decide this isn’t for you, you have grown as a person you’re better in front of an audience. You have better communication skills, you’ve learned how to make articles, and maybe you started getting fancy and adding things in there.

So you’re only going to get better, there’s, nothing, bad, that’s going to happen and the process of making a article is actually simple, but the longevity of it is hard. So I want to explain that in this way, what if you were to run a marathon running step by step right is not hard. It’s a simple process just to run now, whether or not your body can last very long. That’s different same thing with the article.

It’s not hard to make a article. I actually have a little camera on my laptop. I think I paid $ 60 for it, I’m not using the internal camera because it wasn’t that good of quality, and I have a microphone that I bought Yeti. So there you go, I think that was a hundred, so maybe one hundred and fifty dollars. I have two pieces of equipment and that’s it a lot of people just use their their phone. I don’t have a high quality phone.

I have an iPhone, but I’ve got an older one, but there are times that I’ve used it. I might be outside or something and I’ll just do a article like that. But the point is that part’s easy, that’s the easy part. The process what’s hard is the persistence and the consistent consistency and hanging in there. There are days that you might say why am I doing this? There’s I’m not getting that many subscribers, I’m I’m not getting that many views.

I just want to sit down and cry. I mean there’s days that you feel like that, like you, you feel like it’s um, just no results and that’s where a lot of people will quit and that’s why you don’t see that many people that are successful, because when you start doing it you’ll see it’s. It’s time, there’s things that you have to do to build your business. You’ve got to build that foundation, especially in passive income.

You’ve got to put those systems in place. That will be there forever. That can keep making you money, and one of them is articles. Youtube articles are evergreen, they never disappear. So that’s a little tag in there for passive income. They don’t go away. I could make a article ten years ago and if, if the right keywords are in there and somebody searches for and it pops up, then it’s still there where, if you’re on Facebook or Instagram they disappear, they’re gone.

So that’s the difference there forever or gone okay. So those are the reasons that you want to stick with YouTube. And again I want to emphasize to you that’s staying consistent with your content and with your articles is what helps your success YouTube wants you to be successful because YouTube benefits. Remember YouTube is selling ads to people. You know there’s little ads that you always want to skip at the beginning of the article.

Even if somebody just clicks it they get money for that and it probably not a lot. I’r not monetized. Yet I will be, but they the longer people read those articles, they get more money and and people get very strategic and where they put those ads those little article ads and they the a person advertised benefits because they get to put their ad in front of Millions of people, if you have a huge audience, YouTube benefits because they’re getting that money and you’re providing the platform they don’t have to even provide one and all the people out there, making articles and blogs that’s where they put those ads.

So that’s a win-win-win situation and you get a little bit of money from YouTube for monetizing, so everybody wins, but you have to let YouTube know that you’re serious and by being consistent and sticking it out and providing that content lets them know. So what I suggest for you is get started on your blog. I have this in a article, a series, YouTube growth and I will continue to put YouTube articles articles in there that will help you with your growth, so be sure to click that link and again, if there’s not a lot in there, when you click it just Go back and keep looking because I will consistently keep putting articles in the playlist until then I’ll see you on the next article and thank you for reading.

Give me a thumbs up if this was helpful or if you have any questions. Ask because that’s what I’m here for I’m more than happy to help you

4 Ways to Measure Social Media ROI

Also this, I think, determination in small Businesses that they’re like “ There is no way to do this.”, So they love to hear about Roi return on investment. You get asked this too right Right. They end up spending so Much of their time on there, they wan na make sure they’re actually getting something back, Which I totally get right. You’re time is super valuable, you’re doing a million other things and then now social media Is added to your plate? How do you justify the time or the money if you outsource it like GoDaddy Social, You wan na justify that time and money and a way to do that is understand.

Are you getting a return on investment And the good news is there’s a lot of ways to See if you are or not, There’s data analytics metrics, but I’m going to break it. Down into four umbrellas of how to measure ROI, starting with number one brand awareness Cool, how do you Measure brand awareness, So brand awareness can be measured in one way that you’re, probably Already thinking at home, your number of followers How many people are following you More people following you on Twitter, seeing your tweets following you on Instagram Seeing your great photos following you on Facebook and Reading those great captions, The more exposure you have and the more followers you have seeing it that’s brand awareness Perfect And does that count likes and comments, and things like that too Totally So likes comments.

Love shares retweets. That’s just going to help You get in front of not only your followers The awareness there, but your friends and their friends, maybe their family members as well, So the awareness just Spreads like wildfire Spreadin’, the love Spreadin’, the love All right, so digging in On the analytics aspect, It’s easy to see the amount of followers you see the amount of Likes and things like that, is there a step further? We can go to really see the nitty gritty Yeah totally.

So that’s a cool thing. If you have business pages set up, they allow you a clear view of what’s working. What’s not working what time of a day a post works? Well, how many people are seeing It et cetera, et cetera, So with Facebook, you Have your “ Insights” tab And, what’s really cool, is it breaks down a ton of information And they even have a little Information button on each one. So if you’re reading a Metric and it’s like “, I’m not even sure what Engagement rate means.

”, (, laughs, ). You know you click on it. It’ll break down what it is Perfect And Instagram too. You have To make sure you create a or turn your account Into a business profile that way, you can see insights and how many people viewed Your page liked it commented what time of the week you Get the most engagement If you’ve turned your Instagram account into a business page. Let us Know in the comments below Just say, “ I’ve turned It into a business page.

”, So that’s with Instagram Twitter there’s the top tweet. So you can see that in your Twitter analytics as well So go in. There see what Your audience likes, in other words your customers and then have that inform Your strategy moving forward, which will also help you be More efficient with your time and give the customer what they want, Give them what they want, Give them what they want: ( laughs, ) All right, moving on Tip number two: where are we at with that? So tip number two: one Of my personal favorites customer satisfaction And you’re, familiar with This inside your business, whether you have a barbershop Or a car dealership, you can see it on the person’s face that they’re satisfied or not.

I can’t make a frowny face: Aw Darn it I was cuing them up. So one way you can do it. Online with social media is well your reviews. Your customers are going to tell you if they had a poor experience. Or a great experience But make sure you’re Reading those reviews Believe it or not, I still Come across businesses that don’t take the time To read their reviews, I’m like “ Wait. This is a great place “ to see if your customers Are satisfied or not.

” Also what they’re saying when They mention you on Facebook, Right, Especially, you have to Respond good or bad. I know most people will just Respond to the good ones and try to just ignore the bad Ones like they don’t exist, Just give them a response. See if you can make it right, apologize to the situation and move on Totally So again pay attention to What your customers are saying, They’re talking to you online And if you wan na even a Deeper dive into that we have another episode of The Journey on social listening so check it out So cool statistic: I read the other day: actually, a quarter of people who have a positive Experience at a business will go and tell 10 people Both online and offline – That’s pretty awesome.

All right. Tell me What’s tip number three Tip number three is actually Gaining new customers, which is your favorite, I know When I say “ You’re Gaining new customers”, you can picture just dollar Bills in your pocket Make it rain, ( laughs ). So how can you do that with all this social Media and online stuff Couple ways: One: your customers are going to Click on your Google listing for their directions.

I know I do that before Every business I go to because I get lost very easily, But if I’m clicking on the directions, I’m coming to your business and I’m coming to spend Money with intent Also calling Calling you That’s another great way to measure that you’re getting a new customer You’ve already learned. That a lot of customers don’t take the time to call So if they’re calling You they mean business, they are serious about Spending money with you, You got yourself a new customer And so because the Google Listing’s really important Yelp and that “ Click to call” you wan na, make sure I’r sure this obvious that everything is up to date, The right phone number, the right address The hours right.

How many times have you gone to a business? That said it was open, you get there and it’s closed And that’s a bummer Just makes me so sad. So sad, And also besides that, if you have a chance to Speak about your business, maybe “ About You” or add Photos do that as well too and make sure that’s up to date, Maybe you’ve remodeled. Since the last time you had your Yelp photos. Updated or your Google Add that in there spice things up Take some photos, Keep it up to date, so When your customer comes in that new customer, you just gained they’re getting an experience.

That they predicted that they expected Right All right, so we’ve reached The end of our journey, We’re on tip number Four, the very last one: What do you got for us Brand loyalty, Another one you’re familiar With the terminology, but what does it look like online? Well, there’s, don’t worry, It’s not tough math, but well, let’s see how It goes for Justin here All right, engagement rate. How do you measure that? Well, it’s pretty easy.

It’s the number of likes You receive on a post divided by the number of followers times. You guessed it 100 And that’s going to equal Your engagement rate ( mumbles ), Oh no! No! It’s not that hard, So write it down, keep it nearby And when you’re posting Check in do the quick, math And then you’ll determine is that engagement rate Where it should be, And what’s also awesome, About brand loyalty is actually 85 % of customers – 85 %.

I know that’s – almost 100, 85 % of customers will actually Engage with your brand if they’re, loyal daily And when I say, engage they’re going to be liking. What you’re posting commenting sharing on a daily basis And that’s huge That constant, like and That constant, following they’re, going to continue to see their stuff and they’re going to continue. To tell their 10 friends and onward and onward and onward All right, so that’s a wrap.

We just covered four ways to measure ROI when it comes to your social media. Make sure you, like this article, subscribe to the blog and ring that bell. If you Wan na see these articles first, This has been The Journey. Thanks for reading

Documentary – New Kings: The Power of Online Influencers (Influencer Marketing)

Communication between two people and then we go to a broadcast communication. Style for the last one hundred hundred and fifty years once the public was Allowed to communicate back with us and this two-way dialogue was reestablished.

I think it was a game changer for not just a journalism industry, but PR Marketing across every industry and all sectors and category Wizards involved in Kind of the digital aspects, of virtually everything that they do so I mean, if There’s any one change: it’s just the going from the unusual to the ubiquity Of digital and its impact, not just on communications but on business overall If we look at these social media influencers and their ability to publish And amplify content to large audience segments.

This is a paradigm shift in how We do business today, social media influencers are the new royalty. Influencer has always been an important Tool for brands because it is more powerful when someone else is talking. About you or your product, in a positive way than when you are, it, gives you this Third-Party credibility of sort of an endorsement it used to be that are the Main influences we dealt with in public relations or media.

The conversation used To be about 5, 10 years ago, what magazine covers? Do you have what Magazine covers do happen. That was the thing people don’t even talk about. Magazines anymore between Twitter and Instagram and Facebook reddit, I mean That’s the place where you can see where the cultural conversation is going so We’ve had to adapt to that people are reading about entertainment, almost less Looking for factual information as looking for recommendations or looking At what’s hot or what people are talking about, because not only do they want to Have their time sort of mitigated by only paying attention to the things that That are hot or people are talking about.

They also want to be part of the Conversation so those people, friends, family people they may follow, like Influences that you’re talking about sort of sift through the madness and say Out of the 300 things that are in front of you right now, these are the five that You should pay attention to. We just used to have radio, television and print and Now you have dozens of social blogs for there ways to reach people and also Have conversations with them? That’s changed the whole dynamic of our Business, I remember it was novel that a brand would say.

Oh my gosh people are Talking about us on Twitter, what do they say and they would freak out about every Little criticism that really grew and awareness of the power of it on a Slightly negative standpoint, but then there was a growing awareness that oh, we Can influence that conversation or we can learn from those valid criticisms? And improve our products and build a better relationship by being good Listeners and hearing from our customers, companies in the last several years, have Seen an opportunity to become much more aggressive about self-publishing So companies are much we’re in the business of content.

Creation and syndication, the attitude is, if we don’t tell our story, who will Technology, social blogs platforms and so forth kind of provide a way in which They can do that. So you know, virtually every company today sees themselves as a Publisher of one sort or another, it’s interesting! What some of these large Brands are doing now around content marketing. If you look at Marriott and Their creation of their content, studio, they’re, putting a flag in the ground and Saying look: we are a media company.

Having said that, the impact of that Publishing and the impact of that syndication is still directly linked to How effective they are at getting influencers to embrace that content and Share that content, you know about 85 percent of consumers, want more of a Humanized two-way communication type of relationship with their companies on Social and digital, but only about 20 percent, believe that that’s actually Happening the way they used to create content was in a vacuum, one-way.

Communications, they used to think about. What’s the new product, what’s B, Initiative that we really need to get there, let’s create a one picture or one Article and we’ll put it out across Facebook, Twitter Instagram YouTube now. Each platform has a different type of person that follows that those are Different types of content and different types of people, consumers are very savvy. Right, especially younger as you get to the Millennials Millennials with savvy They understand what you’re trying to you know.

Don’t try to sell me this and Try to push me this, and I can immediately see to see that and when This connection is non-organic. You immediately switch the blog. You Immediately press stop on your browser player because you understand them is Not honest, the challenge is to find these content pieces that are one Obviously, connected to a certain extent, to the band, but also connected to the Consumer in an emotional level, in order to do that, you need to really work with People who are part of that group bringing in what we call now influencers I would say the first time I really noticed the power of influencers rising Was when I was working at Google and I was helping launch Google+ and at first Our primary focus was to identify celebrities as we’re working with Celebrities we actually realized that there were these other communities of People who had followings that were just as big, if not bigger, and maybe their Numbers when it’s big with the engagement was a lot bigger, so the power That those influencers had in a lot of ways is actually more impactful than the Power we saw this the celebrities having how to Gumrah a spirit if you’re on the Internet and you want to find out something we all pretty much go to.

Google, so I’m going to do inspired by my girlfriend, Google myself, so I’m going to Type is PewDiePie, and then there are people who exist outside of that. Traditional power structure and traditional ways of getting their voice. Across so maybe they blogs but they’re, not a journalist but still have a Significant following and a significant number of people that are listening to Them we’ve been influencing behavior one person to another forever, but digital And social media have allowed for that to scale at scale is unprecedented.

That An individual who may or may not be of a postive authority or you know, be famous Or have their television show or be a big personality of some kind? They can to Earn an audience over time and and be an influencer from their living room from Their computer, you know people often ask me why don’t I Reply to negative comments, that’s because I only have two sides. I really See influencers as the sort of real embodiment of the social media, Revolution for social media we’ve seen tremendous changes from 2000 through 2017: first in the late 1990s and early 2000s The introduction of blogging platforms we move from there to sites like YouTube, That came along in 2005, which was very transformative in how we publish and Consume article content: after 2005, we saw Facebook opening to the public, it was no Longer only for university students that became open to the public in 2006 that Was the same year that Twitter also launched it was a sort of odd little Platform that had 140 characters on it, 2010 Instagram launched itself.

2011 was The beginning of snapchat that came along Facebook then bought Instagram in 2012 Twitter bought a vine platform in 2012. Tremendous changes in growth here, If I had told you in 2004-2005 that your MySpace page or fabulously bedazzled Myspace page was no longer going to exist in a couple years. Most people want To believe me, but the fact of the matter is social media. The social web has Changed from Mendeley in the last 15 years, it’s dynamic and changing it.

Doesn’t stand still social media in general and YouTube Specifically and really all the platforms that have become famous at This point really didn’t start as Commerce based society and today we’re Bringing you the winners who, according to Forbes, are making Bank this year. Youtube started in 2005 just to tackle a technological problem at that time, which Was the difficulties in transfer article? It had no intention to become a article Destination, it had no intention to become an entertainment destination.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you: About that bloodline, 100, 100 days of me recording my life. There was a point in Time and and I’m very happy to say that I that I was part of it and it was Around 2010 2011, when once we figured it out the intellectual property protection, System and we made pieces with everyone that produces intellectual property, That’s when we started to understand that we had people at the platform Creating content and aggregating a very large audience around their content.

Those audiences were going from these intimate crowds that they could no One-To-One into crowds that they were really performing for that you know Indirectly – and you really went from a friend network to an audience – and I Think a lot of those creators realized that and started to started to refine What they were doing, I am your host Corey, Vidal and you’re reading my show I’r trying to figure out what would make people come back to my articles and and What can keep people’s attention for more than five minutes, because people’s People lose attention really quickly already.

This is probably getting too Long so I’m going to cut right here. I’ve been posting on YouTube for two Years all kinds of articles of me sharing some of my random talents that I have I dance I play guitar or I sing kind of the main three. I also do some acting Here and there um and some of the articles, I’ve posted, have gotten a lot of hits. And in turn I ended up with a lot of subscribers, so YouTube ended up actually Making me a partner nobody ever considered.

This would make The money it was just, how do we get people to read our stuff? I’r not quite Sure how you have this plan, I don’t. Okay, that’s the beauty of Youtube oh shut up. I hate that intro, I’m a filmmaker and a producer. It’s why I Moved to LA to do originally, and I met a bunch of people who were like YouTube’s Really cool or making stuff – and I was like oh I’m a I make some stuff, so we Started to work together and make things together and try and figure out how this Youtube thing was working and we were like.

Oh if you upload at 2:00 p.M. On a Tuesday, it does better than if you upload at 9:00 a.M. On a Wednesday So everybody like okay I’ll, do that too, and then we figured out thumbnails if You make them look this way, it’ll get more clicks, so we were kind of figuring Out how the whole thing worked, and so I became part of that community that I Added slowly, it started to grow and that initial group of people became the first Youtube millionaires, I think most of them are still around.

It happened. Because we were the very first platform that empowered people for the very very First time we’re giving people the ability to draw together themselves, Hey Look at this Shayla, we love what we’re not back, we’re not picking the winners. The audience is picking the winners, so I think, because we were the very first Platform to empower people, we got this massive amount of young storytellers Many of them extremely knowledgeable, extremely talented, telling their stories To the world, I tried to put up a song of my daughter, night singing and by Accident is all by accident, ended up going viral on YouTube.

I started getting restyled by a bunch of people a lot of a lot of media attention. To the past three years and to this day, action and I decided to To to go even deeper, so you know singing songs with my daughter was fun and stuff Like that, and I realized I was given an idea of like blogging, what is hockey you Know and I and I realized that I’ve been blogging, my whole life recording my kids Memories and doing and talking to myself in the counter I was crazy, but on I Wasn’t crazy, I was blogging so then a light bulb hit.

You know, I’m getting Ready to apply for Law School for graduate school, and I decided to do this – Instead, I started to become a youtuber and share my life to the world, focusing On family, community, art and music, and and really talking about things that Matter to me, like immigration and everything I was Serving and things that I care about, I really do really care about this and I Really want to share this world, so I started to do a head of fun and, like Really inspire people to think about it like influence or you know, influence was One point: oh right: the reason why is it’s really challenging to make good Article content, the level of complexity, is higher than an image.

It’s tough to find People who are really passionate about editing article and creating that content So your pool of influencers are potential. Influencers is much smaller. You look at a platform like Instagram or a lot of these mobile social platforms. Their image phase, so you don’t need to edit it. You don’t have to have any sort. Of knowledge on how to create the content, you can just You know plug and fight, and so we saw a much larger pool of potential Influencers and we saw much lower barrier to entry to creating good Content, so you put those together and rather than seeing a handful of Influences emerge we’re seeing tens of thousands as social media itself evolves.

And as we see new platforms, there’s going to be the people who get it first, there’s a whole different breed of Influencers on snapchat that didn’t pick up YouTube and put it on snapchat They understood snapchat is something inherently different. They understood That this whole concept of writing on the article is new and so you’ve got People like geo snap and my ology, and these and shonduras people who weren’t Influencers on other blogs, but latched onto this thing so quickly and So natively it was unbelievably creative and then you, you see other people copy Them you see, bring a copy of them and follow them staying relevant.

It’s a lot. Of work, there’s new apps all the time and you don’t know which ones are going. To take off in which wall, yes, you have to get on them. All musically is blowing Up right now, I don’t know why you know and if you didn’t get on early enough, You’re out, I’ve grown as technologies grown so right now, a really big thing: That we have in the world of technology is livestream, so I was on livestream Very early on ATS back then we had meerkat and I was One of the top near catters and then we had periscope when I found out that now, Periscope was coming out and you could save it on your phone.

I was like yes, the Tech gods could like kissed down on me and my my Effort so I dug into a periscope very quickly and very deeply I’m proud to say on the top latina Periscope are continue to be, I’m actually nominated for a shorty award. This year, for periscope of the year for me, I’ve always had a natural inclination. For technology so being able to really combine that and, more importantly, being Able to use it as a pipeline for me to share what I go through with the hopes.

Of inspiring them to pursue their dreams and their passions is really what my Overall community theme is which is love bug nation. In the interviews I’ve done. I Often find that the the viral sensation has to do a lot of work to sustain those Those connections and you’ll see that sometimes you’ll see somebody who goes Viral and becomes sort of culturally famous for a moment in digital space. Either through a newscast that ends up on on YouTube and blows up or one Picture that everybody starts sharing all over the place and and then we find Out who that person really is in the world and they become influential and That was buzzing wondering just who this cashier Beauty might be.

I went from a Hundred and fourteen followers on Twitter to three hundred and fifty Thousand and one night 24 hours ago, no one’s just like a normal cashier at Target and then some girl took a picture of me and I never saw her take a picture. Of me, but there was a group of girls that would come in and take pictures of Me every once in a while they I would notice it sometimes, but this one I Didn’t my manager came up to me one day.

It was on a Sunday. I remember she came Out to me – and she was like hi she’s pushy – has like 20 thousand retweets on Twitter I was like no, I thought it was fake right and then bad picture. Yeah Uh-Huh and then about an hour later Ellen reached out to me a couple days: After that, I went on suffer Ellen. That was terrifying. Because I was just like kid that worked at Target, I had no like experience in That whole realm and I just kind of went from there – I got up to like 750 thousand Followers on Twitter, in, like a couple weeks, two million on Instagram And a couple weeks is the rollercoaster.

I think the other way to look at this Are normal people? I mean people really who never intended to be entertainers or Influencers in the first place, who were just having conversations about Something they really cared about, whether it was a specific passion like Gaming or sports or makeup fashion, there’s so many different fields in Which this has happened? They just talk about them because they really want to Connect with people about you know some aspect of their of their interest.

I created the look at the first moment. Yes, that’s a passion, just like a hobby, For the weekend, so I’d used to take pictures with my mom in the garden of my House and just I share the pictures only the weekend – Saturdays and Sundays, but This is a hobby like because I always have liked fashion. I like clothes, how to Combine different styles, I, like fashion when I was little, I was always looking The magazine’s with my month I create the blog and then Facebook Instagram was My life media like two years ago, but it has grown very fast.

I think, because of The the feeling with my followers, I’m always trying to answer them all the Questions that they have the thing that the most important thing for me is that They look at me like very natural. I can be like this with makeup, but I can also Show them with a bony one here, mine with my hair and a mask at night, or when I Wake up like good morning this is my morning face, so people want to know that Not like more to feel you like, more clothes, not like a model or I’m not Perfect – and I know pretend to be – I don’t like it I’r just Martin and I try to serve in my daily life site.

It was my only passion. When I was kid I was plates okay and then, when I was 18 a doctor told me like You need to stop because you, you have a problem, a genetic problem underneath and It was a big shock for me because it was the only thing besides Studied I was doing in my life and I select how I’m going to do that and then a Door open and say like if you restraint, you work out your legs in the gym with Certain exercise, you may recover your knee and you may keep track the future.

For soccer for everything, so I hung out with Adam, I met many people who helped Me out to understand this amazing world, like Fitness, how it better, how train Harder, I would exercise a million dollar, so that became my my my passion. So when I move here to Los Angeles, any Exercise I was doing I posted anything. I didn’t trust at all in Salem. I just did It because this girl she became my friend she told me, like you – need to do It that’s like okay, she knows better than me.

How is working Los Angeles, so I’r going to do it, but in few times I saw the people respond. The people answered To all the tips, all the questions I posted in Instagram all the stuffs, I Select, oh, this is working. You know this is truly working and I was connecting With people from all around the world, which is fantastic and that in that Point is when I discovered the the potential of insulin, so I took it.

Serious and I’m posting like very regularly like three four times a week: About tips of nutrition exercise, training, lifestyle – I think a lot of them. Had to come to realize that they had an influence that actually could be Commercialized some way, I did it like a step by step and when I was about 50,000 Or 60,000 on Instagram, that was the moment the malls in the top, when I Started like asking for money, of course, because I said I have these followers And I think that this has to be like I went to wind while that was happening.

More and more companies, especially some you know, really forward-looking. Companies started to realize that this was an opportunity to talk to a Demographic, they were having a hard time reaching. What do you think of em as Millennials people who are sort of on the cutting edge of digital technology, They were harder to contact through those traditional media, and so they Needed to figure out new ways to to contact them in ways that felt authentic.

So what we try to do is learn from influencers and learn from people who Are online and finding audiences online and take whatever bit of authenticity or Whatever piece of shareable that they’ve star To the flourishing to create, how do we incorporate that into a brand message in A way that now we make one a piece of content for a brand. It doesn’t feel like A commercial it feels like a piece of entertainment that I really enjoy add Value to my life – and I want to share it with my friends – The traditional model has moved away from what it is.

The old-school Commercial! Thirty, second, to a more you know, digital based advertising, which is What we now call branded content, it has moved from trying to push in a 30-second Spot a product to like, let me talk to you because, as a brand, we understand What you are into and when the content creates this more of a lifestyle content, That is presented by a brand more so than hey. Look at the brand.

But what’s Interesting is that a great social media campaign influencer campaign, if it Generates enough conversation, it then becomes newsworthy and then the earned Media blogs will pick it up. I was brought in initially to manage digital Content specifically for one of our clients, which is Lexus at that time, the Idea was to create a portal for the Hispanic and the American market that Would speak to that consumer beyond just buy this car, or this is our brand? We Really wanted to connect to that consumer.

This is a luxury brand, so at a High level or a lifestyle level, to give you an example, one of the pillars is Lexus called them it’s music right now. Hispanics were very passionate about Music and through people here at the agency, I was lucky to be introduced to Gillian Tia, who was the creator and host Olivia Lexus % stepfather Chris? This is The music show that you know day in the life of a up-and-coming alternative.

Artist and I find when I saw that that the concept was was really organic. You know: pili went from one place to another, one in the vehicle to me. Specifically thinking about Lexus, this is a perfect integration. She is music Lover and she talks to music lovers and there’s a very direct connection. Even Though she’s not a musician, she is a curator, a connoisseur of what’s coming. Up and so her audience trusts her I’ve been very lucky to work with really high friends, Heineken Starbucks Lexus And I’ve been very lucky to work with them, because I think that there are Brands and my brand being la vida really go well together and that’s why it works.

You know: that’s why it’s like. Okay, these are successful campaign manifest you can Have the USA momentum? My content is: very, it’s really like my life, so it’s very Comes are very genuine place. It comes from really connecting with my followers. And showing them what my life is like when it comes to a brand, I really sit. Down with a brand and listen to what their purpose is and what the goal of That contain is, and then through that information, then obviously the concept That, without their will, relate to them as well.

Actually, I think influencers who Are now being mentioned, as you know, the new kings of media and promotion, I think That I agree with it. I think that in the last couple years we’ve seen how Influencers are very important to marketing. However, the one thing that I Will say is that when you look at an influencer, you got to look beyond his Numbers beyond how many people he reaches you know I can have millions of Followers, but if these are not, followers are actually interested in his message.

Sometimes it’s tough to gauge that right and there’s tools that we use in other Production companies that you can see the top influencers and see the numbers And that’s one thing: do you need to meet them, one for personality and two to make Sure that these are actually talking to these audiences, so when we’re advising Clients or when we’re doing research anything we’re finding. Now everyone is Talking about you’ve got to engage people with smaller followings, meaning That they’re trying to find their tribe.

This is me finding the person who I Absolutely 100 % relate to, and I am inspired by and therefore I’m more Likely to make a purchase from them, then this person who’s got a bigger following So, instead of there being the one celebrity or the one youtuber that Everybody knows sure they still exist right. You’re PewDiePie, Michelle Phan Like they’re still out there but what’s more interesting to me and I think more Indicative of what’s new about about influencers and online spaces, In general is that within certain niche communities in leash interests, you have Those kings, you have the person who is not, you know, gods to everyone, but to This particular group of people who love this kind of music or love this kind of Art or think this particular brand of humor is funny.

They dominate advertisers. And marketers feeling, as if an influence or activation, is pulling the wool over The eyes of anyone is delusional. Like the viewers know, this is a partnership. They know this is a brand thing, so I think using the word authenticity People often think like: oh, it doesn’t look like an ad. No consumers know that They’re being paid for this or they’re getting something from it, the FCC Requirements have made it extremely clear that you have to basically beat People over the head with the fact that this is the partnership, the language That the FCC uses that requires influencers to disclose that there have A relationship of some kind with a brand they’re talking about it, has to be clear.

And conspicuous the rule is basically that if your grandma in Iowa can’t tell That this is an ad. You need to be more obvious about it, like it’s, a very low Standard, so when we think about authenticity, it’s not about fooling the Customer, the consumer, it’s about its feeling, like there’s still validity and What the influencer are the same, it’s kind of twofold number one is the Content, they are producing their point of view on life.

You know what is their Personal story is this a product they would or brand. They would actually use. Or be open to, or if not is there a damn good super creative reason? Why and we’re Intentionally disrupting it, you should never try to deceive the consumer. What We see is there’s nothing wrong with partnering with a brand right people. Understand the same way, a television network has commercials right or a TV Show has product placement, it’s the same thing, but the way I like To look at it, it’s almost like, through the analogy of a professional surfer, you Never look at a professional surfer and say: oh you’re, being sponsored by Red Bull, that’s so bad right or you’re being sponsored by Channel Island.

That’s so Bad, you always look at it and say like wow. That’s awesome! You’re partnering with a brand that you really like that you’re associating Yourself with, and so it’s often a win-win cause, I’m very true to who I am And very true to that message: most brands know when they reach out to me. It Definitely has to be not just to win for them, but for me the thing that I’m Always thinking about is how is this one going to be a win for my community? If I Take care of my community and I also take care of the client.

I know it’ll be A win for me yet and if it’s a great match, as I said, and it really meets a Certain amount of criteria, then I’m in discovering that I could make money on All this in, like really Wow it was insane. It wasn’t like you really. You Could just be yourself and get paid for it all right, that’s cool! So I decided to Keep going, keep going, keep going and being myself and trying to be myself and Finally, I came to these past six years.

Seven years, I really learned to discover Me as a person as an entertainer as a father as a youtuber as a fan as a Influence or power Latino, I started attending conferences. I started to pick I started speaking at school. I started getting to know other people. I started You know doing more on Facebook, on Instagram and on Twitter and really Connecting with people and trying my best to really inspire families, kids Fathers mothers to remember that it’s okay B, that it’s okay to have fun! It’s Okay, to be yourself and to not follow trends, to not do what others do, but do You you know so and a lot of brands that I’ve worked with early on understood.

That and I really tried mine to say my ground and to be honest with myself and Try to be real with people 20 comments from the article that I made For my wife, the one that is about about her about International Women’s Day and Her voice being my voice, and I a lot of you a lot of you were writing that I Don’t know if it’s new people, I don’t know if it’s people that have been I Think the primary reason for success for influencers is trust.

They build these Communities in which they’re in the center people subscribe to them and Connect to them and follow their lives in a way that we’ve never been able to Follow people’s lives before even celebrities in movies were playing Somebody else you know the athlete on a field is taking on a role, but but the Connection that you get through something like YouTube or Instagram or Facebook is really banned themselves and so there’s there’s this trusting.

Connection that comes from this sort of mass friendship that they build together. I think we live in a trust deficit now, so we have so much information. We don’t Know how to process it, and so what we look for is trust and what we trust is People and so we look at reviews to decide what movies we’re going to Download we look at reviews to decide what restaurants we’re going to eat at We look at recommendations for which cars we’re going to buy, so we we really Look to people to make almost every decision in our life and so influences Are just one part of that influencers have the level of engagement, they have With their audience, because there’s a sense of friendship, how’s it going Everyone pewdiepie here and bang, welcome to my very first non-game oftentimes Influencers start out just like anybody where they’re just A kid putting a camera on in their bedroom and just giving it a shot, and I Think people really relate to that because they feel like oh, that could be Me that could be my best friend I could be my neighbor.

The power of influencers Is that they have this direct connection with their fans, the fans have been Reading them, who knows for how long, I trust what they say and they follow what Their suggestions are, they have to be a little careful with that power where We’re always looking for what’s happening next and in trying to be aware. Of that and we partner with lots of outside companies to help us be on the Cutting edge coal companies have grown up in this space now, who are Intermediaries between brands and influences I’m 26 years old.

I think I Made it to the fourth splurt under 30 list, just because a lot of attraction, We’re getting in the space we have a few awards and accolades from previous work. We’ve done, and I think as well. The influencer marketing space is a very Young space and has a lot of opportunity for young entrepreneurs to step up Influencers by one of the most talked about words and marketing today, it Started at a really low price point in 2010 and it’s been increasingly growing.

Due to you know, marketers and brands just seeing the value in it and it’s Becoming more analytical in today’s day and age, to where brands are a little bit, More savvy and influencers are also just as savvy as well, because they’re Receiving deals left and right from different types of brands. I think in Terms of, if there’s a bubble, I wouldn’t consider it a bubble. I think I think the Market will always will always work itself out and there’ll always be a need.

For influencers, I think eventually, there’s going to be a point. Where is There’s more of a standard protocol, instead of it being the wild wild west. At this point, there’s no exact science to it. You

How to Use YouTube for Successful Digital Marketing

What’s that, On average YouTube has over 1 billion mobile views a day and on top of that 300 hours worth of article Uploaded in a minute That is incredible, sounds Like a ton of competition, but you can break through, But let’s talk about why Youtube is so important, starting with why we should use YouTube.

Video content is effective, I mean I’m sure you’ve been on Facebook or Instagram or Twitter Whatever you use you’re scrolling along You’re on YouTube right now On YouTube and you’ve caught a article and you get lost in it right. You spend two three 15. 20 Hours, whatever you’re doing The rabbit hole And you’re reading that content, So you already know article is effective, So what’s also cool about YouTube, it helps you build a community And think about it when it Comes to marketing your brand! If you get a large group behind you, that’s sustainable for more success.

Growing, more word-of-mouth! Growing, your business And another thing to keep In mind about YouTube, they are really all about the Subscribe that is key to growing your community, so, while you’re at it go ahead and subscribe to our blog By publishing quality articles really interacting with your followers, it’s really going to foster that community that you were Talking about and make them eager to Wan na share your articles with people that they know And having a loyal audience provides unlimited opportunities to grow and market your products And Emma you talked about mobile in the very beginning.

With that incredible stat YouTube is mobile-friendly. So all those articles look great on mobile And, if you’re not producing Content for that platform, you’re alienating a large population, So I know you’re Asking yourself at home: how do you make money on YouTube? Have you ever heard of the Youtube Partner Program Back in January of 2018 They changed their policy and the policy was all about how you actually can Earn revenue on YouTube Yeah and it’s important to note that you actually have to apply to be a part of this Program and be accepted, So not only is there An application for this, but there’s also a minimum with who is eligible for this as well.

So let’s go through that, Starting with ensuring that you follow the program’s guidelines that you live in a certain country and your blog has over 4,000 public read hours in the last 12 months Also have more than 1,000 subscribers and make sure your account Is linked to Google AdSense, So let’s talk about AdSense and how you can actually Earn money with it So YouTube is a subsidiary of Google and AdSense is a product of Google? That’s how it allows you To make money on YouTube, So these are the ads That pop up on your article, It’s estimated that creators can make anywhere from $ 3 to $ 10 per 1,000 viewer engagements So with some simple math.

If you have 10,000 views on your articles, you can make at least $ 300, Okay, so Nealey. What About YouTube Premium, Because they’re not being shown ads, so if they’re not being shown ads, how is anyone making money Yeah that makes sense? So YouTube actually gives a percentage to those creators based on things like read: Time and viewer engagement, So I would add the Channel Membership feature – and this is a great way to Offer incentives and rewards for people who are tuning In to your blog or becoming a monthly Viewer or subscriber Yeah, it’s just like Patreon.

Basically, So you can also sell products. From your Merchandise Shelf, So if you live in one of The approved countries and have over 10,000 subscribers you can show up to 12 products from your Teespring merch page. Also, I’d recommend enabling The Super Chat function,’cause. What it allows users to do is have their actual Comments pinned to the top, which is pretty cool, Yeah, it’s just like Twitch.

You can also produce sponsored articles Now. What this is is Another brand or company paying you to promote Them on your own article, much like a micro-celebrity Yeah totally and be sure To follow the FTC guidelines and think about your Audience keep them in mind. You don’t wan na just go promotion, crazy,,’cause! Then, if you’re just constantly promoting your content, you’re going to maybe lose That engagement with them So keep them in mind.

They’re Following you for a reason, stick with that, what is it? That they would wan na see What a lot of other Youtubers are doing now on top of all this or, if they don’t even Meet those requirements to join the program, for example, is they’ll, sell their own stuff, They may link off to their own, say, Etsy store or WordPress site or whatever they’re selling Their eCommerce items on and then just promote those So Emma.

If you had your Own YouTube, blog and you were going to sell Something what would that be Jokes, You’re, not getting any money, ( laughs, )! Well, I’m thinking about when you sell on YouTube. I have, for example, a lot of cool vintage pieces, but do you do that on YouTube? Would I showcase the Vintage pieces that I have in a YouTube article and sell it Well for a lot of people, you’re directing them.

Off to another source, Now some people will do That for affiliate marketing – maybe they have affiliates with Amazon and they say “ Cool. Here’s All the equipment I used to create this article,” and link off. Oh, that makes sense. Okay, Or here’s some cool swag of my shirt with my face on it, whatever that looks like For sale, You can use those other revenue, Streams to get that money, So speaking of making money on YouTube, I know I like to think about.

How to make more money so we’re going to talk about Branding marketing and SEO to help you make more money on YouTube Yeah, so getting into Those programs are nice, but you really wan na create a sustainable income and Revenue streams right So let’s talk through a Couple ways to do that: Let’s do it So first off you wan na think about how can you build an engaged following build your audience right And a lot of times I think of first, what’s going to make them unsubscribe just to keep in mind, don’t do That, but also how frequent you should post, I give the same advice with social media.

If you’re only posting Once every three months I’m going to unfollow you There’s nothing there. You got ta, give me something of value. You got ta, keep me tuned in And so think about the frequency and what you’re putting out there when it comes to building your audience, You will also wan na optimize. Your article and your blog, So this is everything From the logo you use that header, you use that trailer, that 30 60 basically ad spot to promote you and your business.

When someone comes to your blog, the titles, you use It’s going to take a lot of research, but it’s definitely worth it because these first impressions last Yeah and it’s so meticulous right. I mean think about how Much time we’ve spent just on the thumbnails, with our articles Too long, Too long I’d also encourage you to think about how to market your brand and your article off of YouTube so cross-promote.

One thing we do is we Take the YouTube articles and we cross-promote them Over to Facebook or Instagram Yeah, we’ll maybe get A condensed version since Instagram takes a minute and says link in the bio Right change the link Links off back to YouTube where they can see the entire article and, if they’re, not a Subscriber they can subscribe, But we would recommend not to put all your eggs in one basket.

So don’t make YouTube your only thing. Remember: MySpace and Vine They’re gone. What happens if YouTube is gone? It’s not likely, but it’s really good to Diversify your attention on all these different Platforms just in case So while these tips Have definitely taught you how to be successful on YouTube. I got ta be honest with you. We have only scratched the surface so be sure to subscribe. To take a deeper dive on YouTube and other platforms, That’s a wrap Like this article.

Add your comments below This. Is The Journey We’ll see you next time,

testimonial from our customers after deck repair project. SEO (2019)

I had holes in my deck and I had water damage in the outside walls, and that was getting to be a problem, because animals were getting in where the holes of the deck were, and I was just afraid it would really demolish from there well needed to Be brought up to date, we couldn’t come on the deck ad work is just getting a little dangerous and surprising.

A chipmunk everyone so, while coming out of the hole, was not a fun thing, but I would also add that in the front on the fascias, where the insect and bird damage that is going to eventually destroy the house when the wood starts to rot away. Because of that kind of thing, I actually I liked you and I liked you, because you were very straightforward with how much it was going to cost. Another company was giving me some estimated this and estimated that, but you gave me a bottom line which is important to me.

Aside from the things that we knew at uncovering a deck, there was going to be some other things that we might find, but I was glad to do that and I just felt you to be trustworthy. The experience was a good one because it was so fast. I mean a week ago I was standing on this awful deck and this was done in two days, which is more than I thought would be able to happen so diligent workers. I have to say, the workers were good and they they came and they didn’t hang out.

They just worked, and so I’m very pleased with the whole result. I don’t think I had any surprises just just happy once I guess well my problem and thinking my house was about ready to with the house. If you let animals get into it in any way, it’s going to be a major problem because they start chewing on things and eventually your house has got to fall down. You got to get it when they’re first started so got rid of the animals.

Out of my deck and the insects and the pileated woodpeckers off the fascia, and from that I’m very happy and by the way you put PVC up so that those nasty critters couldn’t get to that fascia anymore. So it was all good they have to. I warned my neighbors it’s coming your way. If I hadn’t yeah, I really don’t have the experience to say now. I had somebody else that I thought was pretty trustworthy and I probably would have gone with him.

As I said, I really like the way you laid out the proposal and I don’t know this is my first experience dealing with Angie’s List and I’m just very pleased with it. I just just had a good feeling about and talking with you and describe, actually god I felt like after talking to you Justin, you were answering questions. I didn’t have to ask you anything. I would just like to add that I fully recommend emoji improvement because they did a great job for us another 30 years.

They were over here last night, looking on the commission and that’s what you were actually okay. Well, as houses go, I guess in a little while we’ll probably call you for something else.

6 reasons why social media is for food and beverage brand building and not for sales!

Social media is constantly changing. It used to be a one-to-many blog brands would publish links, photos and articles On digg, delicious reddit and later facebook, twitter, pinterest and instagram and could Drive a high number of leads and sales when we first started using social media. There was less content, less noise and people were willing to click on almost everything.

They saw in their news feeds then, like we always do. The marketers showed Up and we ruined a good thing. Sorry, if that offends you social media, marketers Out there, but the truth is the truth. Anytime, we get a beautiful thing. It’s very Often marketers and advertisers that ruin it. There is now way more content on social media. Platforms than folks can consume and a huge amount of that content is sales driven posts.

And ads if a post doesn’t look organic, interesting or useful people now just scroll right past It as traffic sources, twitter, facebook, instagram, And pinterest have become so challenging to drive organic traffic from that it’s now. Rare to find a brand that can use social media solely as an organic source for leads and Sales, the organic clicks are just so much harder. To come by now, social media is now a one-to-few blog.

It’s only the brands who can afford to create Ridiculously amazing content or who cultivate one-to-one relationships with their fans, can Succeed organically: it’s the brands and companies who provide Personalized social media experiences for their fans that are succeeding on social media And please know in this context I am talking 100 % about organic authentic relationships. This has nothing to do with paid promotions.

Paid posts or ads on social media platforms pay to play is the reality on facebook and Instagram now and all the social media platforms have advertising platforms available for those Who can integrate paid into their marketing mix and can afford them? You can still kind of get decent organic growth. On platforms like pinterest, twitter, YouTube and linkedin…, but don’t count on that forever. Either With that said, let’s talk about six reasons: That engagement is the future of social media.

Social media is often seen as a solution to Every marketing problem: it’s fine for certain aspects of marketing; Like brand awareness, but here’s a little truth for you, social Media is not going to help you achieve every business or marketing goal that you have. If you aren’t diversified with your marketing. Mix you need to get on that yesterday. I’m talking about that email list. That’s collecting! Dust in your mailchimp account and that sad SEO consultant who you stopped inviting to Your weekly meetings, because you we too busy working with pseudo-influencers, who don’t Actually move any needles, social media influencers are the fyre fest Of marketing.

.., i’m just going to put that out there and let it fester… Still many people still want to know how Social media relates to driving traffic buckle up. Here’s a little more truth for You organic social media is not going to be a good traffic driver for most brands. Today, Or for the foreseeable future spraying and praying with your marketing messages. Across various platforms might have been an effective way to drive clicks from digg reddit And delicious, but it’s just not an effective strategy anymore with the platforms we’re Focused on and for me, that’s just fine, because I’ve always used social media as an engagement.

Blog, not a lead generation tool. Now, if you can get your head right with this And if you can quit expecting to move mountains in a week, it can open up some great new opportunities. For you, that can give you an advantage over your competition. For instance, customer service is well-served. Via blogs, like facebook, messenger, instagram, direct and twitter direct message, consumers are heading to these blogs.

1St In many cases to be heard by brands, they buy from and you’d be wise to embrace it with Them social media is the first place a lot of people. Turn to for customer support and more and more people are using social Media to get help from brands folks are not only using private social media. Blogs such as facebook, messenger, instagram, direct messages or twitter direct messages, To reach brands for help, people also leave comments on posts on facebook.

& instagram and reply to tweets to get help think about this being responsive on social Media prompts customers to purchase while ignoring customers does what you might Imagine it brings about less brand loyalty from customers. That’s enough evidence to make you care about. How customer service in integral to social media and if it doesn’t well, you might be dead. Inside I think about all the opportunities that have Been opened up to me by just having a conversation with a potential customer, whether they’re Mad sad happy upset whatever it is, there’s so many opportunities to provide more Value, it’s easier to help your customers on social Media, so you have no excuse not to be doing this, and the platforms are aware of this as they Are developing more customer service tools every day to help brands respond to their Customers, you want some examples, you can let customers send you a direct message.

On twitter, without them needing to follow you or you needing to follow them, you can send automated welcome direct messages. On twitter and prompt folks with the best ways to reply, you can manage all of your facebook messenger And instagram interactions in one unified inbox, you can use smart replies to automatically Answer frequently asked questions for your facebook page organic reach on social media has fallen so Low that social media has become a less viable blog for traffic across the board for most Brands brands are reaching fewer folks on social Media and getting less traffic from social media PERIOD, many big brands have seen a huge fall in facebook.

Referral traffic, in particular some by 75 % or more, the amount of content on social media has Increased to a point where it’s well beyond what we can consume, each social media post is less and less likely. To be seen over the past couple years, we’ve seen a 10X Increase in posting from brands because they are trying to break through the noise of all The additional content being posted, but people simply cannot consume more content.

Consider this as a weak example with math If 100 posts are published per day for every social media user, but each user can only consume 10 posts per day, each post has a 10 % chance of being seen now, if the number of posts published per Day increases to 1,000, but each user can only consume the same 10 posts per day. Each Post now only has a 1 % chance of being seen because of… Math. This is, in effect, what Has happened to organic content on social media over the last few years, facebook organic reach fell to about 4 % throughout 2016-2017 and is now well well under 1 % per post, because facebook continues to tweak its Algorithm to prioritize posts from family and friends over brand pages, so social media is losing its potential as An organic traffic blog as more and more content is posted on each platform by brands.

Who are posting more content, so their content can possibly break thru. The additional noise From content being posted by other brands, who are posting more content, so their content, Can possibly break thru the additional noise from content being posted by other brands? Who are posting more content, so their content can possibly break thru. The additional noise From content being posted by other brands, who are posting more content, so their content, Can possibly break thru the additional noise from content being posted by other brands? Who are posting more content, so their content can possibly break thru.

The additional noise From content being posted by other brands, who are posting more content so…, the point is organic traffic from social Media has been going down for years, you’re just not going to get the reach or Visibility, you did in the past as brands and marketers. You have no choice but to adapt. While social media has been the dominant platform. Over the last 5 to 10 years, social messaging apps like facebook, messenger and instagram Direct are growing much faster than social media platforms.

There are now more folks using the top four Messaging apps than people using the top four social media sites, the rise of social messaging signifies a change In folks’ behaviors and preferences towards more personal one-to-one communications, when folks view social media, they are no Longer, just thinking about the posts on their news, feed, they’re, also thinking about reaching Your business for customer support through twitter receiving timely information or ordering Products through a facebook, messenger chatbot and all the other communications that come Through these messaging apps brands that only push out marketing content, On social media will miss out on this massive opportunity to serve customers in meaningful Ways and might be left obsolete on social media engagement is a key indicator of the quality Of your content, does your content elicit positive responses? From your fans for the social media platform, algorithms to prioritize your content to be Seen and heard on social media organically, you must create content that engages your Fans the number of engagements on your social media Posts highly influences the number of people who will see them if lots of folks engage with your content.

The platform algorithm will take it as a sign that your post is interesting and will more Likely show that post to more people, I learned a long time ago that the shorter Path to success is learning what those who you depend upon for your success need to be Successful themselves and to help them get there, so it might help for you to step into the Shoes of the platform for just a second: what do you think they need to be successful? They need attention and eyeballs.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-yEQmoad1nU

They need people to linger on that page where They are displaying ads, they need people to be captive to their platform. Now what keeps users captive on their platform? So they can sell more ad space. I’ll give you one guess…! It’s interesting! Engaging content, if you go look deeper into this and study The search algorithms on these different sites, you’ll get a lot more information, but to boil it down if there are just a few Interactions or a lot of negative interactions on a piece of your content: the social media Algorithms will assume that it’s uninteresting irrelevant or not useful and show it to fewer Folks, so the more positive interactions on your Post, the more people you will reach on social media, ok.

… I feel like i’m beating a dead horse. At this point either you get that or you don’t if, after this explanation, your ultimate goal – On social media is still, traffic leads or conversions. It’s tough for the average brand But if you break it down to what’s going to drive, traffic leads and conversions, it’s still Engagement, that’s your top priority. It’s not rocket science here, folks, the more Interactions, a brands content has overall the higher the traffic to its website.

So how do we get there if you think about The kind of posts that get interactions you can’t be lazy and just post a bunch of links. You have to do everything you possibly can To get those interactions and engagements up and that’s a new article i’ll need to make if there isn’t a strong direct revenue from Social media, why waste your time? The primary reason to be on social media is To build your brand through engagement, brand-building is important because a customer’s Journey with brands is almost never linear.

Most customers rarely go from an instagram Post to your website from the link in your profile, ( by the way “ link in profile”, is A joke cut it out. ) then, to your checkout to purchase it’s more. Like someone hears about your product, Through a friend on the same day that customers sees your facebook, Posts enjoys the content later they reference about you in a blog post, the following week, the customer searches on Google and see your brand via a retargeted ad, maybe they recognize your brand and tweet You a question about your products, you replied to them promptly and then they Decide to order the product from your website now this is a simplified version of an actual Customer journey, but it’s still a good frame of reference next.

… Why else is social media? Important 85 % of folks have to see something on social Media more than once before they will purchase it, but don’t overdo it. They will also unfollow You, if you post too many promotional messages, so that’s a delicate balance there by engaging your customers through timely Customer support one-to-one conversations and interesting or helpful content. You can Strengthen your brand image, then, when these customers are deciding, if They should purchase or continue to purchase from you, this brand equity that you’ve built Up can help win them over social media interactions, increase customer Loyalty, consumers who engage with their favorite brands On social media have stronger relationships with those brands than consumers who don’t Engage at all, they have a better opinion of the brand they Leave more positive reviews, they stay loyal and keep being paying customers longer and Then also they recommend the brands more to others and that third-party validation is gold for A brand when customers trust your brand they’re more Likely to give you their email address, attend a live event or purchase your product when You ask them to Subscriptions stroke, my ego and they also Go a long way to increase my discoverability here on the Youtube.

HOW TO BRAND YOURSELF AS AN INFLUENCER – MAKE MONEY WITH YOUR PERSONAL BRAND

Alright, guys Jesse, unlocked here, welcome to another article, and today we’re going to be going into a massive overview on. How do you become an influencer like what does it take to become an influencer and contrary to popular belief? I know that a lot of people think that you know I thought it that you have to have this massive following, like Tai Lopez like Gary Vee like they are influencers, but there are really really big influencers right.

Just like there can be a band. That is, let’s local, it’s indie right and then there’s major pop sensations, like you know, ariana grande Demi, Lovato, all those people right there. Just there they’re influencers, you know they’re they’re known they have a group of people that follow them, but they vary in size. So you’re going to have a similar experience as you become an influencer and as you find what it is that you’re passionate about what it is that you want to talk about.

What’s your message, what are you trying to share because that all factors into becoming an influencer? So, let’s get into the first thing now. The first thing is really building a following. You know – and this is where knowing yourself and knowing what you’re passionate about really comes in handy, because you’re going to want to know who it is that you want to talk to what’s your message. What are you trying to share? Because, as you realize this you’re going to know that you’re not trying to attract everybody, you’re not trying to like bring in the bringing the world to your doorstep, you’re trying to bring the people that care you’re trying to bring the people that actually, you know, resonate With your message, because, if you you know, if you talk about music, if you play guitar and you make music and you want to show other people how to play guitar and why playing guitar is awesome, you know and the the the variations of ways to play.

Guitar you’re not going to want you first not going to want someone that, like loves the drums, because they’re going to be like nah man drums are way better than guitar and then you’re just going to have somebody fighting with you the whole time. Instead, you want to find other people who are passionate about that thing. They’re passionate about playing the guitar. They want to learn how to play the guitar.

These are the people that you want to bring in your circle and be like hey c’mere. I have some cool stuff to share with you and they’re going to resonate because you’re speaking directly to them, so that’s going to be. The first thing is just to realize that, like it’s, it’s really more of a giving thing. It’s not so much about you! It’s about them and you’re, looking to figure out like how to really craft this building this hub this spot.

For that audience to come to you, so you can kind of bring them in and be like hey. This is a safe spot. Come hang out meet other people who are into this too I’m going to share some cool stuff with you help you accelerate your journey and your it’s going to be a great time right. So that’s going to be the first point, so you’re going to be looking to build a tribe that is into the same stuff that you’re into and we’ll get into it in other articles as to how you can really narrow this down.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1mp60eSCt6s

But that’s part one. That’s the main focus there now main. I guess part number two is after you really decide who you’re talking to and who your audience is and what that looks like for you you’re going to need to craft some content around what it is that these people need help with, and it’s again this has To come from a very giving place, it can’t come from this ego place because I know when I got started, it was kind of like well.

What do I want to learn? What do I want to share like? What do I feel comfortable sharing and talking about right – and maybe you have this experience too, however, when you’re, when you’re becoming an influencer and you’re you’re, really stepping into this role of more an educator and you’re? Looking to this like okay, this is my tribe. You know when you become an influencer you’re, not to sound intimidating, but you’re, really you’re.

Stepping up you know you’re stepping up and as an influencer you’re coming forward and you’re saying know what I feel like there’s a place that isn’t being done. How I want to do it, you know, I don’t feel like this audience is being served. The way I think they’re being served and that’s why you’re coming up and that’s why you want to be an influencer right. Is it so you can you can help people see the things that you see and understand and maybe find their own passion in what you’re teaching, like that’s the beauty of being an influencer, so in order to really reach out to them and grab them and grab Their attention and serve them, you got to put out content, that’s relevant to what they’re trying to learn and what they want to do and what their goals and dreams are, and the area that you’ll find is the easiest way to create.

Content is looking at what are their challenges? You know what, when you go on, like let’s say forums and we’ll go into more detail, if you guys are having trouble with this part, but you’re going to want to go into like Facebook groups, forums reddit’s like sub reddits YouTube blogs, you’re going to want to See what people are talking about and, more importantly, not other influences, but look to what the people in the comments say, and the people in the forums and people in the groups cuz.

It’s not the ones that are sharing successes, it’s the ones that are asking questions. It’s the people that are in those groups and they’re like how the heck do you do this? How the heck do you do this? How do you do this? How do you do this? I have a problem with this like if you go in there, you’re going to find a ton of people with some unique problems and some problems that you’re going to hear again and again and again – and these are the questions – these are the things these are – the People that you’re going to want to talk to you’re going to want to create content that helps and solves their problems.

So this is really going to help you build that audience that you’re trying to by creating content that’s very relevant to them. So we’re going to go straight into the third thing now. The third thing is: really: you know you have your tribe that you’re building you have the content that you’re putting out and the third thing is going to be engagement and the way that we were going to do this is is multiple ways, but first we’re going To keep it real, real, simple anything you put out that gets some form of likes comments or shares engage with those people.

You know whether it’s just a response and they go hey cool image cool. You know you know PDF whatever it is that you create, like. Oh cool post, whatever they say if they even just like put an emoji face, you put an emoji face whatever the response is just respond to it, because people want to feel understood, people want to feel like you care people want to feel like they belong. If that makes sense – and it’s it’s, it’s really something when and maybe maybe you’ve experienced this too.

It’s really something when you know people respond back to you, you know you you leave a. It does take a bit to write a comment. It takes a little bit of energy, a little mental capacity to stop what you’re doing you know, pull up the keyboard if it’s on your phone and just type something out like it does take energy. But when someone recognizes it and they go, and you say something like oh cool photo and then go hey thanks for checking it out.

You’re, you look at it and you go. Oh that’s! That’s kind of cool. You know not a lot of people do it. So you want to be that person that actually connects with the other viewer or with the other, the the person in your tribe. Essentially that checks out your thing. You know and joins your group and and checks out what you have to say and they leave a comment and you go all thanks for checking it out.

It does something it really kind of creates this. Like this, this gratitude, I don’t know it’s it’s hard to explain, but people want to feel understood. People want to be, you know, noticed, and I’m sure you guys have noticed that, maybe even in school, like you, you know you didn’t really get along with a lot of people. Maybe you felt isolated and what was it like when somebody you know just reached out to you and was like, like hey, you know, cool shoes or hey man, cool shirt like it’s just it’s this feeling of positivity and giving when you can actually like you know, Connect with that person on the other side, because not enough people do it and you will stand out so quickly when you are that person who does it as much as you can you know, obviously, as you grow the following and there’s more people commenting it’s you Know it’s a little harder to keep up with, but do your best like you see a leg, and you see somebody comment on your thing, be like hey thanks man thanks for checking it out, you know really appreciate it.

They’re, just they throw an emoji, you throw an emoji, but just respond to it. You know it makes the other person feel real good, so respond to comments. You know if you’re on Instagram be sure to like a bunch of people’s content and that’ll kind of help engage your audience. You know and they’ll notice that you actually take the time to like their stuff. You know so, if you’re liking some of your followers stuff.

That’s really helpful if you leave comments, that’s at a bonus point right there, but really focus on your hub, because otherwise this stuff gets really overwhelming. So when you post something and people leave comments, comment back, you know like their comments, whatever it is just really maximize that output, so do the same for YouTube articles, if you’re already making YouTube articles we’ll do that in another article, no, no worries there and Facebook.

If you leave a post on Facebook and people, you know respond to it, they share it just make sure to reach out to them and either PM them a private message or on the on the comment thread, just leave them a comment be like hey, thanks for Checking it out, man really appreciate it cool. Well, that’s a massive massive over. You overview of how to become an influencer and and what it means to be an influencer.

So just a quick recap: let’s bring it all back to one you’re building a tribe and this tribe is like-minded people who have a similar goal or they want to improve in the thing that you’re teaching so that step number one is building a tribe step. Number two is putting out the content like what problems is that audience having, and can you help them? What can you put out there? That’s going to be a valuable resource for your audience step.

Three is engagement and you’re going to want to talk to your audience. You’re going to want to respond to your audience and you just want to show them that you care. So that’s the recap. That’s the value and if you guys, are curious about learning more about becoming an influencer, I’m going to be posting more articles, but go ahead and also check the link below we have access to a a chorus buy through familiar with Ryan Hildreth.

That a lot of customers don’t take the time to call So if they’re calling You they mean business, they are serious about Spending money with you, You got yourself a new customer And so because the Google Listing’s really important Yelp and that “ Click to call” you wan na, make sure I’m sure this obvious that everything is up to date, The right phone number, the right address The hours right.

How long should a blog post be? – Blogging Tips

Do I am a car starting about the length of a blog post? It’s a really common question that we get time and time again and it’s come in on the QA for this week. Yes, Marissa Jenkins has asked that question. How long should a blog post be and well I’ve decided to take on that challenge because I know a thing or two about size or blog posts, just so what care blog post right? Marissa! Thanks for the question when it comes to the size of a blog post, there’s no hard and fast answer like everything in life, everyone is different.

Everyone is unique, some will be longer than others. Some will be shorter than worse. Some will need to be longer that aren’t long enough and some will be too short that they just can’t have enough energy. So how do you make sure you’ve got the right length of a blog post? It’s a tricky one to wait! Oh well! Let me give you some advice: conventional wisdom around SEO will tell you that anything over 350 words has a better chance of getting ranked well, that is true, but we found that actually blog posts longer than a thousand words get ranked even better.

In fact, only 6 % of bloggers are creating content with more than 2,000 words. So if you’re looking to stand out with a piece of content, maybe it needs to be over 2,000 words to really stand out. So that’s just if you’re looking for an epic piece of content that you really want to impact with. Maybe it needs to be 2,000 words or more now, for your standard, blog post. How long should that be? Well, it depends really on what the standard is again within your niche.

There’s going to be a lot of other bloggers, regardless of what you’re writing in, but you can be pretty sure that a good few blogger is already talking about this company, so maybe take a blog post of theirs copy it and then paste it into word and You’ll see the word count and do that for a couple of bloggers within your niche see what their typical length of blog post comes out like ten people pick 10 because the maps are in okay, kids take a note of how long the blogpost are, and that Will give you an average called the blog post, but most bloggers within your niche are producing.

It will give you an idea what your benchmark should be for standard content. What your benchmark should be for super pieces of content and it’ll also give you an idea as if you wanted to do a short, quick, well postal, a short Creek Road close to you or I could be 3 or 500 words for two people within your niche. A short blog post could be just 100 words, or it could be a thousand words, so understanding where your niche is in terms of the types and length of blog posts that are going out there will help.

You then decide how long your blog post should be for us. For me, in particular, our blog post generally, especially at the moment, are coming in well over 1,500 words, if not over 2,000 words, in fact, I’ve just written a first draft or vocals. Today, that’s two thousand two hundred and fourteen words and that’s like forged wrap, so that will give you an idea of the types of content we create now.

Having said that, most of the content we create will have a kind of help to list element to it. So we’re trying to convey a message, we’re trying to show people how to do something or we’re explaining something. So that does take time to convey in a blog post, whereas if it was a quick bit of news like our fantasy football side, when we report on the news, those articles would probably be just about 350 400 words, no more, no less precise enough to give You the facts, but not long enough to bore you, so that’s what you’re kind of looking at so there is no definitive hard and fast answer.

Look at! What’s going on within your niche look at what other people are doing and then decide. Does this style of blog post, I’m writing soup the length of time I have to write above 4. So if you’re writing a hell, when you’ve only got time, maybe to not go 500 words, you might be able to do one at the time you have. You. May need to read you your schedule to push that whenever maybe write it at a later date, so just think about the style of blog post.

Can you convey what you need to convey within that style within a limit and that’s what it comes down to and really the best piece of advice? I can give you when it comes to how long a vocal should be is a blog post. It always be as long as it needs to be with short enough to be engaged, so don’t try and draw it out just because you’re trying to hit a word count and if you can take out some unnecessary words.

I do suggest you do something. In fact, I linked to a recent article in the description below with nine ending tips for bloggers, and it’s something that I spoke about recently on the blog that will help you wan na, come to editing your blog content and also will have a bearing on how Long, your blog posts are going to be so what I will say is don’t worry about it, really how long it’s going to be, but if you want it to rank well, then it’s got to be over 350.

As we know, I would say it’s got to be over five, at least if you really want to stand out from the crowd. You’ve got to do something bigger and bolder than what’s already out there, but don’t start out creating a piece of blog content with a ward count in mind. Have it as long as it needs to be, but short enough to cover all of the points. So that’s it Marissa. Thank you very much for your question today and don’t forget folks.
