Of course, you know it implicitly, and you know it really well and the people that are connecting with you are clearly interested in it or they wouldn’t be following you, but of course buying into a brand people are buying people.

So you don’t just want to be talking about your subject all the time, because that could become a bit monotonous and people really want to get to know who the person is behind the brand. So people want to know who you are. This is a great way of using blogs and article logs to get your creativity flowing so every now and again just chuck in something that is just getting your personality across, and it might be, for example, like miles, and I will take Bonnie for a walk over At the local park and we’ll think I know actually we could do a article on this.

You know we’ll be talking with so why don’t we do a article on that and we’ll just literally get our iPhone and start recording and you may have seen it already. You know throwing the frisbee for body in the background and you know, and that’s just you know, I think that when you are getting your communication across on a daily basis, you’re building friendships and you’re building rapport, so people want to see who you are behind the Brand and not just who you are on the face of the brand all the time so use your blogs and your article logs to be creative and have some fun with it.

So what other hobbies do you have? How to Create Credibility With Affluent Clients

So, first of all expertise matters in general when you are marketing a product or service. However, with your affluent clients, it is absolutely essential and the reason for that is because they are limited on time.

They want results, they’re looking for performance and they want to work with the best of the best right because they don’t want their time and money wasted. So I want to talk to you a little bit about how to establish this credibility, because here’s what we do know they will research you before they buy from you. Okay, so we’re not going to talk in this article about how you’re marketing to them and how they got to you.

I’ve talked about that in a lot of my other articles, but once they do find out about you and they are looking for you, I want to talk about a few ways that you can establish credibility. Okay, number one! You need to make sure that you are properly positioned and that you are positioned as the expert in your field right. So that is number one you you want to make sure that your positioning and your messaging is absolutely clear as to why you are the obvious choice for them to work with number two.

You need to have really tight branding branding matters because, what’s going to happen is – and I cannot tell you how many times I’ve gone to look for a service provider online and literally clicked away from them – they could have been the best expert in the world. But I clicked away from working with them, because when I went to their website it was old, it was outdated, they didn’t have professional, headshots and look.

My feeling is, if you’re not going to invest that much into your business, then you’re probably not going to invest that much into mine. So you need to make sure that your branding is tight and one of the ways that you can do that. Especially if you are are newer to business is to really have like a one page website. I’d rather, you have a one page. Beautiful website then have a really old, older one.

Okay, the third way that you are going to be able to establish your credibility is with the use of social proof, so social proof goes way beyond testimonials and again we know that this is essential, so it goes way beyond testimonials. It could also look like endorsements on LinkedIn. It could look like peer endorsements. You know, I know that some of you know that Seth Godin, you know I won the Purple Cow award and that has been a award.

That has really served me over the length of my career where he nominated our business as one of the most innovative companies in the United States. That’s a big endorsement right so endorsements from well-known people, but also from your clients and from your peers, Awards also exceptional for credibility builders as well as legitimate media appearances, where they can see that you are an authority matter expert on the subject.

Finally, customer service. So your credibility starts with the first interaction that you or your team have with the affluent clientele. So you want to make sure that you are responding quickly to your messages that you’re responding quickly to voice messages and that your team is, you know, understands that they need to provide, and all of you need to provide exceptional service from the moment that the person Comes in contact with you and part of that is to really design the customer experience.

You want to not leave that to chance. You want to have that designed before you even start marketing, so that the minute that they contact you they have a that. You’ve got an automated and personalized way to be able to get them in touch with you in a highly professional manner, alright guys. Social Media Marketing 101 – “Branding.” #RealEstateRobotArmy

Now, when I talk about the idea of branding I’m saying that you want to attach your business or your identity to a certain brand, like me, my name is Larry Lee and I’m in the mortgage business, but I call myself Larry the mortgage guy. I also talk about the cells disruptor right because I’m actually bringing myself to you guys these sales community.

Now, why is that important? Well, you want to associate yourself with something that’s easy to remember: okay, that’s what branding really is okay and you got to be consistent about it. So, every single time you read my articles, you notice, I introduced myself. This is Larry the mortgage guy, yourselves, disrupt it. Every single time right so by doing that you’re kind of subliminally speaking to the audience that this is the brand that you represent.

This is who you are right now. How do you take advantage of that? Well, on your personal page, you probably should mention that or put something like that, so maybe on your list of jobs or list of businesses or whatever you should put your brain on it. I also have, if you look at my profile, it says literally in the parentheses. It says it says your mortgage insider right, because I actually have a article blog called your mortgage insider again, another brand right, but anything to associate myself with something easy to remember.

I’m not telling you to pummel your entire, you know profile picture and your cover photo with you know, logos and and your brand. That’s not what I’m saying you can if you want, but what I’m saying is that you need to choose something. That’s easy to remember and make sure you present it every single time you interact with someone right. You know. I don’t even talk about more years when I’m talking to you guys, but I say I’m Larry the border guy.

That way, you know I do more. Yes, even though I’m not talking Amy about mortgages, okay, that’s what I mean by branding you’re, literally just associating yourself with an idea or a thought, or something easy to remember and you’re consistently pushing it out there. So people can remember it. Okay and if you put up pictures and such that are visibly, you should probably get a logo like that. You know at the mortgage guy or whatever right and another thing about branding is your pages.

You should share content from those pages to your personal page, with your brand, so you’ll notice that a certain post I post on my personal page and certain post, I post from my business page, which says literally the mortgage guy, okay and also check in if you Can that will again push your brain out there? Can Artists Do More Than One Thing At Once? [Artist Branding Part 1]

Some boxes are bigger than others, but a brand is a box. Nonetheless, a lot of people. A lot of artists don’t like to be boxed in, but trust me.

You have to have a box in any relationship, think about it. This way and every single relationship you have with somebody there’s a brand at place and they primarily look at you. Do that brand. Your mother looks at you as son first and then you might be a rapper. Your fans will think of you, have a rapper first or whatever you do. They might have not even fit that your son, daughter, wife, whatever.

So when you look at somebody like Donald Glover, somebody who’s done all these different things. Acting rapping he’s done all these things. On a high level, even still she spent years in just writing first and he slowly slowly but surely started to amplify others. He focuses kind of individually on one at a time, and only now is he getting to the point where he’d do all the things and people can kind of just accept all of the things I want, and still I guarantee you when you talking to Fox, then I’m going to carry in the wrapper, they only care of him as far as a director and writer of a TV showing can they create success in that when you listen into one of his albums, you don’t really get it down, that you wrote Atlanta or any Of that other stuff, all you want at that time is you’ll, be the best rapper.

You can be create the better music for me right now so understanding. That is this understanding that you can brand and sell multiple things to the same people and once at least not in the beginning, at first fill this over here to that crowd, because the 30 rock probably was running a little bit different than his comedy crowd, which Is way different than his music crap, a lot of people listen to music, I’ve never seen or even heard of 30 rock one more quick example.

Little yachty in the article that I did about him and all his marketing and branding as routine even talked about how hey I got this here, and this is my brand right now. I start off with my image before I even came out with my music, but I understand that when I want to become an actor sometime in the future, is my brand at the moment doesn’t necessarily fit where I want to go? But for now this works because I’m showing to this particular crowd right now.

I don’t have to transfer until ready to sell to this crack by the way that often where this whole idea of a sellout comes from, because people just don’t understand that hey, I’m selling to somebody different right now and all these are really just being fitted to Really just point out one simple thing, but you create a brand. It makes you more attractive to certain opportunities, but it also can restrict and limit you from others and that’s not a problem.

How I got started

I’m going to call you guys, my ride-or-die, you guys that was pretty disgusting, I will admit, but you’re still here and yeah you guys are my ride-or-die crew.

I promise that I won’t do anything that disgusting for at least another month or so. Maybe I feel these things out. I can’t really say when the next disgusting things going to happen. It could happen today, probably not though so I came here this morning and they’re these dear traipsing around the the property. So I busted out my drone and I don’t know if I got any good shots of him or not, but I’m going to play him right now, just in case I did okay.

So my plan for today is to tell you guys about how I got involved with freedom, breeder and working with freedom breeder. I meant to do this article at some point and I guess now is the time I’m going there today, even though I’m still sick and Hillary’s got to take. You live to the doctor. Cuz he’s having an issue and that’s the kids are sick, but you know she’s got it, I got ta, go hey, plus I’m not just going to throw to do some work with them.

I’m also picking up my friend Malia who’s coming in from Hawaii, and so I need to go up there and pick her up, regardless of whatever else is happening and plus we got ta get worked up there anyway, so there’s a little sting something you’re still from Last time, I don’t like leaving these guys when they’re sick, but somebody’s got to do it. Somebody’s got to do it, ain’t! No, what I feel about a sickie! What do you know a session? No okay, my guy sorry! I understand I wouldn’t want to do it either, probably well, I do it anyway, but I feel you at least you feelin nice.

At least you feel it nice, that’s good! You have you enjoy your little bar there tea. I love, you see you soon. Okay, see you soon, I don’t know man I’d really don’t like leavin like I really don’t leave laughs yeah you do it, though, got to do it. It’s times like these. That make me really appreciate times and everybody’s feeling, better yeah. This is the back entrance. I feel like the backfield here at freedom, beer, where nobody else really goes.

It’s kind of a good good spot to start the the history of how I got started working with these guys. Shortly after we moved back from Hawaii, which was back in 2014. I started researching in the snake, keeping because I know I was going to do it again and amongst all that research, I came across Kevin McCarthy’s book. It’s a huge book like that thick ball, python morphs and I was checking all that stuff out and getting really into it, and in that book he mentions freedom breeder.

He mentions Lindy’s name as the cage manufacturers that he keeps a lot of his ball pythons in and I was like well, I better research that and look that up and then I found freedom breeders website and I looked at all the different options and found the The 10/10 that I could afford to get and went ahead and placed an order to get it. Jeff was here at the time, and he reached out to me shortly after to arrange shipping, and he was like hey.

Why don’t? I have my dad drop it off at your house. You know, based on when I was at my parents house at the time and save you on the shipping I was like well. That sounds like a pretty good idea: yeah, that let’s do that. Let’s do that! For sure – and I was already right, then I was like sweet, so I just found these guys in the book and now the guy that I, whose name I just read about in the book, is going to come drop off the cage at my house.

It was like that’s great customer service. I like these guys and then then this room. This is the room that I came to first time. I came to the place and got four of the first six snakes that I got when I first moved back came out of this room right here, hello, Jeff and I was kind of mind blowing. I was like what are these guys doing with this room? Full of how many snakes do you think are in this room just like about a thousand snakes in this room.

So my little, my little snake keep in mind was blown and I was like okay. This is crazy. I guess I want half of them know how about four, because I already got my pocket. Okay, let’s do four. So obviously that was way before this room even existed, but I even in that first little hangout session, when I first got to meet these guys in person where we’re chilling out and checking out snakes like man.

These guys are cool. These guys are like the chill. If I’d like, I feel like, I can fully just be myself around these guys, I share some stories with them right there upon first meeting that I don’t always share with uh with the people upon first meeting. You know I wasn’t as open, then even just a few years back, you know was that five years ago I meanwe don’t put more now than I was then, but so I felt comfortable around the guys and I there was a vibe there, and this is still Years before I ever came to work with these guys, but it’s just that North Cowell was like they’re hella cool.

It wasn’t too long after that that they found out that I was pretty good at photography. Somewhat saw some of my pictures and we ended up working out a deal where I came and took a bunch of pictures for the website and of all the racks and did in exchange for a coral glow pide, which at the time was, I mean it’s still, A pretty it’s still an amazing snake by the time was definitely I mean monetarily speaking well, well worth the work to get these things up there for that snake and that’s the snake that is the Queen’s boyfriend and the king.

So what I’m doing right now? Jimmy is I’m doing a shout out to all shout out to Jimmy almost dropping the temp. That’s funny that you did that you know like because the story I was going to share from this spot. This is this: is the spot right, we’re heading Home Depot, because somebody was smart enough to not lock two casters on the rack. That was like one of the first times I did a vlog on was still a vlog on on triple B TV.

I think it’s like episode, two or three of what I used to call whatever Wednesday was like my vlog on triple B TV there’s air spraying all over the place, and so I got a lot of good memories. And this is the backdrop that black backdrop is where all the racks on the website. That’s the backdrop for those those racks is for taking up here. I know you wouldn’t think that, because you can’t see the rest of this madness going on up here, that’s actually happening.

All I see is that black background in the pictures without it – and this is Jimmy – if you guys have never met Jimmy before he’s right here – Jim this guy coming here trying to crash the party I’m trying to give a history, I’m trying to give a history Of how I got how much you guys can pull? Oh, you can look back on all that. We about 20 minutes up here. Doing nothing Jimmy. Did you have a joke for me yeah all right, it’s a good one! I thought it was hilarious.

I’m a fan of dad jokes, I’m a dad all right. So a fish is swimming along. He runs into a concrete wall. What does he say? Fish just swimming along runs into a concrete wall. This is a dad joke and I’m horrible, like I don’t thinking, wait till I’m thinking goddamn play said how got a dad joke kind of. I don’t know this was a told, no cause. It’s like safe for kids. Damn you like to feel like you were right.

He looked at you like you were what like, I was. You know a little retarded they’re just little specialties or something they’re going to cancel you Jimmy. The DC police are coming for you, and so I still do plenty of photography stuff here. I’m doing that right now, I’m taking pictures of these base frames to the websites. They didn’t any pictures for him yet got my my magical magical, light man.

I wish my light. Looked like this all the time this is. This is great. Hmm. I thought it was pretty awesome how quickly I was able to immerse myself into working. You know, being able to meet one of the pioneers of the industry shortly after coming back into it. I was that was really cool, but the guy, then what actually got me working with them was my buddy Garrett over ReachOut reptiles. He saw the similarities between the two of us and thought.

It was a perfect match, the freedom bridge Aaron and I to work together. Then he was the one that actually proposed the idea to them at one of the Tinley shows, and I was like he told me first I was like I don’t that’s. I don’t want to have that conversation Garrett’s, the business guy. He is good at finding value in things and making things go together and making people thing seem like putting money in any certain directions, a good idea.

I I’m not good at that. I don’t even like to engage in those type of conversations, so he did that on my behalf and they were receptive to it and I was like okay well thanks for doing that, and then I came up here and pitched the idea of what I what I Thought it would look like well what would be a sponsorship essentially, and it’s now. What now I’m here and one of the main reasons I’m up here today.

Besides, just getting photography done, um as we’re doing a article with Lindy Lindy doesn’t really like to be on camera. That’s why I’m filming his backside instead of his front side, but he we did a whole long article with him today on a free computer blog we’re going over all kinds of old documents in old history stuff. That’s kind of why I, this is what I love about working here, because on family business we got four four generations in the building right now, back he’ll be back he’s not going to he’s always voice.

Still your work and holding down the fort makin things happen, but how many companies do you get to be in the office, the four generations of the family working right side by side in the desk? That’s the awesome thing about it. Hey you guys know. I love hanging out families, we have family and I’ve always just felt like really blessed to be able to work with these guys and find some people that are in the industry that are like me and I don’t have to like work technically that’s a bad way, But it know I’m working, it’s fun.

It’s fun. I don’t have to like have to be like some weirdo that I’m not. Let’s get to be myself, my own worst self, we’d, all just gels and we hit we get along. We hang out, I’m I’m just saying man, it’s a great match. I’m super stoked that it’s happening like this and just I hope that everybody else out there can find a little place in the world for themselves like this, because yeah this guy’s all about it yeah get it buddy check it out.

Here’s the if it wasn’t serendipitous enough already like this dude, has the same birth date as a friend same birthday as both Leia and Noah. So we got. We got three kids on the family, I’ll turn in turn in older year, older. On the same day of the year every year, that’s pretty cool, that’s pretty cool, that’s cool, because I was curious. I’ve got our own email and, and people are emailing her now so maybe like take a picture of us and then put like.

It’s kind of a good good spot to start the the history of how I got started working with these guys. Shortly after we moved back from Hawaii, which was back in 2014. I started researching in the snake, keeping because I know I was going to do it again and amongst all that research, I came across Kevin McCarthy’s book. It’s a huge book like that thick ball, python morphs and I was checking all that stuff out and getting really into it, and in that book he mentions freedom breeder.

He mentions Lindy’s name as the cage manufacturers that he keeps a lot of his ball pythons in and I was like well, I better research that and look that up and then I found freedom breeders website and I looked at all the different options and found the The 10/10 that I could afford to get and went ahead and placed an order to get it. Jeff was here at the time, and he reached out to me shortly after to arrange shipping, and he was like hey.

Why don’t? I have my dad drop it off at your house. You know, based on when I was at my parents house at the time and save you on the shipping I was like well. That sounds like a pretty good idea: yeah, that let’s do that. Let’s do that! For sure – and I was already right, then I was like sweet, so I just found these guys in the book and now the guy that I, whose name I just read about in the book, is going to come drop off the cage at my house.

It was like that’s great customer service. I like these guys and then then this room. This is the room that I came to first time. I came to the place and got four of the first six snakes that I got when I first moved back came out of this room right here, hello, Jeff and I was kind of mind blowing. I was like what are these guys doing with this room? Full of how many snakes do you think are in this room just like about a thousand snakes in this room.

So my little, my little snake keep in mind was blown and I was like okay. This is crazy. I guess I want half of them know how about four, because I already got my pocket. Okay, let’s do four. So obviously that was way before this room even existed, but I even in that first little hangout session, when I first got to meet these guys in person where we’re chilling out and checking out snakes like man.

These guys are cool. These guys are like the chill. If I’d like, I feel like, I can fully just be myself around these guys, I share some stories with them right there upon first meeting that I don’t always share with uh with the people upon first meeting. You know I wasn’t as open, then even just a few years back, you know was that five years ago I meanwe don’t put more now than I was then, but so I felt comfortable around the guys and I there was a vibe there, and this is still Years before I ever came to work with these guys, but it’s just that North Cowell was like they’re hella cool.

It wasn’t too long after that that they found out that I was pretty good at photography. Somewhat saw some of my pictures and we ended up working out a deal where I came and took a bunch of pictures for the website and of all the racks and did in exchange for a coral glow pide, which at the time was, I mean it’s still, A pretty it’s still an amazing snake by the time was definitely I mean monetarily speaking well, well worth the work to get these things up there for that snake and that’s the snake that is the Queen’s boyfriend and the king.

So what I’m doing right now? Jimmy is I’m doing a shout out to all shout out to Jimmy almost dropping the temp. That’s funny that you did that you know like because the story I was going to share from this spot. This is this: is the spot right, we’re heading Home Depot, because somebody was smart enough to not lock two casters on the rack. That was like one of the first times I did a vlog on was still a vlog on on triple B TV.

I think it’s like episode, two or three of what I used to call whatever Wednesday was like my vlog on triple B TV there’s air spraying all over the place, and so I got a lot of good memories. And this is the backdrop that black backdrop is where all the racks on the website. That’s the backdrop for those those racks is for taking up here. I know you wouldn’t think that, because you can’t see the rest of this madness going on up here, that’s actually happening.

All I see is that black background in the pictures without it – and this is Jimmy – if you guys have never met Jimmy before he’s right here – Jim this guy coming here trying to crash the party I’m trying to give a history, I’m trying to give a history Of how I got how much you guys can pull? Oh, you can look back on all that. We about 20 minutes up here. Doing nothing Jimmy. Did you have a joke for me yeah all right, it’s a good one! I thought it was hilarious.

I’m a fan of dad jokes, I’m a dad all right. So a fish is swimming along. He runs into a concrete wall. What does he say? Fish just swimming along runs into a concrete wall. This is a dad joke and I’m horrible, like I don’t thinking, wait till I’m thinking goddamn play said how got a dad joke kind of. I don’t know this was a told, no cause. It’s like safe for kids. Damn you like to feel like you were right.

He looked at you like you were what like, I was. You know a little retarded they’re just little specialties or something they’re going to cancel you Jimmy. The DC police are coming for you, and so I still do plenty of photography stuff here. I’m doing that right now, I’m taking pictures of these base frames to the websites. They didn’t any pictures for him yet got my my magical magical, light man.

I wish my light. Looked like this all the time this is. This is great. Hmm. I thought it was pretty awesome how quickly I was able to immerse myself into working. You know, being able to meet one of the pioneers of the industry shortly after coming back into it. I was that was really cool, but the guy, then what actually got me working with them was my buddy Garrett over ReachOut reptiles. He saw the similarities between the two of us and thought.

It was a perfect match, the freedom bridge Aaron and I to work together. Then he was the one that actually proposed the idea to them at one of the Tinley shows, and I was like he told me first I was like I don’t that’s. I don’t want to have that conversation Garrett’s, the business guy. He is good at finding value in things and making things go together and making people thing seem like putting money in any certain directions, a good idea.

I I’m not good at that. I don’t even like to engage in those type of conversations, so he did that on my behalf and they were receptive to it and I was like okay well thanks for doing that, and then I came up here and pitched the idea of what I what I Thought it would look like well what would be a sponsorship essentially, and it’s now. What now I’m here and one of the main reasons I’m up here today.

Besides, just getting photography done, um as we’re doing a article with Lindy Lindy doesn’t really like to be on camera. That’s why I’m filming his backside instead of his front side, but he we did a whole long article with him today on a free computer blog we’re going over all kinds of old documents in old history stuff. That’s kind of why I, this is what I love about working here, because on family business we got four four generations in the building right now, back he’ll be back he’s not going to he’s always voice.

Still your work and holding down the fort makin things happen, but how many companies do you get to be in the office, the four generations of the family working right side by side in the desk? That’s the awesome thing about it. Hey you guys know. I love hanging out families, we have family and I’ve always just felt like really blessed to be able to work with these guys and find some people that are in the industry that are like me and I don’t have to like work technically that’s a bad way, But it know I’m working, it’s fun.

It’s fun. I don’t have to like have to be like some weirdo that I’m not. Let’s get to be myself, my own worst self, we’d, all just gels and we hit we get along. We hang out, I’m I’m just saying man, it’s a great match. I’m super stoked that it’s happening like this and just I hope that everybody else out there can find a little place in the world for themselves like this, because yeah this guy’s all about it yeah get it buddy check it out.

Here’s the if it wasn’t serendipitous enough already like this dude, has the same birth date as a friend same birthday as both Leia and Noah. So we got. Social Media to Build Your Brand with Angela Brown

Lots of us belong to private Facebook groups and we belong to online forums in different places where social media is shared, and many of us are using those social media platforms to build our business. So if, for example, you are using the social media platform and your brand online is inconsistent with the brand that you’ve created with your customers, there’s a huge discrepancy, and I don’t mean to be a stickler about this, but I’m very keenly aware that anything.

You say online: please stop if you’re doing anything else and you’re not paying attention. Please stop and give me your undivided attention right now, because if you only remember one thing from what I’m sharing with you today, this is it okay. I need you to pay attention to this. One idea anything that you share online and I do mean anything can be screenshotted and it can be posted on a yelp review on a Google review on a private Facebook page on a public Facebook page in another.

Facebook group, or wherever your clients and customers hang out so anything that you say, even if even if pay very close attention to this, even if you’re cussing out one person that has offended you in a private Facebook group, here’s the reason I know this to be True, I are on five Facebook groups and they belong to different areas of my business. I get on a daily basis, twenty to thirty screenshots that have nothing to do with anything that happened in our group.

Did you know that this professional just said this and they sent me a screenshot and I look at it? I say that’s really interesting. I recommended that girl a week ago to a client of mine, but I never would have recommended her if I knew she was capable of that, and I take her off my list of recommendations. I don’t confront her because it’s not my business, it was not. My conversation, it had nothing to do with me, but without her ever knowing it, she just went from.

I really like this person and I’ve recommended her, because I believed in her – and I want her business to succeed too going into this file of. Oh, my goodness. That’s really lewd, and I don’t I don’t want to promote that because that doesn’t represent me. That’s not a good representation of me, and so I will quietly pull her off my recommendation list going into just a bin of friends, never to be recommended again, and I get a huge opportunity to recommend lots of people in the cleaning industry because that’s the space, I’m in and I have a voice, so I get to share lots of oh, you should call so and so they’re really good they’re customers love them.

I read all the little testimonials and things on the Facebook groups. I know that their customers are huge. Fans have never worked with them personally, but you may want to give them a call right. This happens all day every day and then there are people that I quietly pull off the list and I just kind of shake my head. Like oh man, I wish that wasn’t the case. I really like this person and they deserve the business, and I know that they need the business, but I won’t ever recommend them again.

Okay, so there are things like that that happen, that you have no idea are happening. Okay, so when you arms are on social media, please don’t post when you’re drunk if you’re having PMS and you’re having a real moody day, which we all have right. Please don’t post put yourself in a timeout and say this is not good for my personal or my business brand, because the things that you say – and I promise you this – the things that you say and post will be shared.
