6 reasons why social media is for food and beverage brand building and not for sales!

Social media is constantly changing. It used to be a one-to-many blog brands would publish links, photos and articles On digg, delicious reddit and later facebook, twitter, pinterest and instagram and could Drive a high number of leads and sales when we first started using social media. There was less content, less noise and people were willing to click on almost everything.

They saw in their news feeds then, like we always do. The marketers showed Up and we ruined a good thing. Sorry, if that offends you social media, marketers Out there, but the truth is the truth. Anytime, we get a beautiful thing. It’s very Often marketers and advertisers that ruin it. There is now way more content on social media. Platforms than folks can consume and a huge amount of that content is sales driven posts.

And ads if a post doesn’t look organic, interesting or useful people now just scroll right past It as traffic sources, twitter, facebook, instagram, And pinterest have become so challenging to drive organic traffic from that it’s now. Rare to find a brand that can use social media solely as an organic source for leads and Sales, the organic clicks are just so much harder. To come by now, social media is now a one-to-few blog.

It’s only the brands who can afford to create Ridiculously amazing content or who cultivate one-to-one relationships with their fans, can Succeed organically: it’s the brands and companies who provide Personalized social media experiences for their fans that are succeeding on social media And please know in this context I am talking 100 % about organic authentic relationships. This has nothing to do with paid promotions.

Paid posts or ads on social media platforms pay to play is the reality on facebook and Instagram now and all the social media platforms have advertising platforms available for those Who can integrate paid into their marketing mix and can afford them? You can still kind of get decent organic growth. On platforms like pinterest, twitter, YouTube and linkedin…, but don’t count on that forever. Either With that said, let’s talk about six reasons: That engagement is the future of social media.

Social media is often seen as a solution to Every marketing problem: it’s fine for certain aspects of marketing; Like brand awareness, but here’s a little truth for you, social Media is not going to help you achieve every business or marketing goal that you have. If you aren’t diversified with your marketing. Mix you need to get on that yesterday. I’m talking about that email list. That’s collecting! Dust in your mailchimp account and that sad SEO consultant who you stopped inviting to Your weekly meetings, because you we too busy working with pseudo-influencers, who don’t Actually move any needles, social media influencers are the fyre fest Of marketing.

.., i’m just going to put that out there and let it fester… Still many people still want to know how Social media relates to driving traffic buckle up. Here’s a little more truth for You organic social media is not going to be a good traffic driver for most brands. Today, Or for the foreseeable future spraying and praying with your marketing messages. Across various platforms might have been an effective way to drive clicks from digg reddit And delicious, but it’s just not an effective strategy anymore with the platforms we’re Focused on and for me, that’s just fine, because I’ve always used social media as an engagement.

Blog, not a lead generation tool. Now, if you can get your head right with this And if you can quit expecting to move mountains in a week, it can open up some great new opportunities. For you, that can give you an advantage over your competition. For instance, customer service is well-served. Via blogs, like facebook, messenger, instagram, direct and twitter direct message, consumers are heading to these blogs.

1St In many cases to be heard by brands, they buy from and you’d be wise to embrace it with Them social media is the first place a lot of people. Turn to for customer support and more and more people are using social Media to get help from brands folks are not only using private social media. Blogs such as facebook, messenger, instagram, direct messages or twitter direct messages, To reach brands for help, people also leave comments on posts on facebook.

& instagram and reply to tweets to get help think about this being responsive on social Media prompts customers to purchase while ignoring customers does what you might Imagine it brings about less brand loyalty from customers. That’s enough evidence to make you care about. How customer service in integral to social media and if it doesn’t well, you might be dead. Inside I think about all the opportunities that have Been opened up to me by just having a conversation with a potential customer, whether they’re Mad sad happy upset whatever it is, there’s so many opportunities to provide more Value, it’s easier to help your customers on social Media, so you have no excuse not to be doing this, and the platforms are aware of this as they Are developing more customer service tools every day to help brands respond to their Customers, you want some examples, you can let customers send you a direct message.

On twitter, without them needing to follow you or you needing to follow them, you can send automated welcome direct messages. On twitter and prompt folks with the best ways to reply, you can manage all of your facebook messenger And instagram interactions in one unified inbox, you can use smart replies to automatically Answer frequently asked questions for your facebook page organic reach on social media has fallen so Low that social media has become a less viable blog for traffic across the board for most Brands brands are reaching fewer folks on social Media and getting less traffic from social media PERIOD, many big brands have seen a huge fall in facebook.

Referral traffic, in particular some by 75 % or more, the amount of content on social media has Increased to a point where it’s well beyond what we can consume, each social media post is less and less likely. To be seen over the past couple years, we’ve seen a 10X Increase in posting from brands because they are trying to break through the noise of all The additional content being posted, but people simply cannot consume more content.

Consider this as a weak example with math If 100 posts are published per day for every social media user, but each user can only consume 10 posts per day, each post has a 10 % chance of being seen now, if the number of posts published per Day increases to 1,000, but each user can only consume the same 10 posts per day. Each Post now only has a 1 % chance of being seen because of… Math. This is, in effect, what Has happened to organic content on social media over the last few years, facebook organic reach fell to about 4 % throughout 2016-2017 and is now well well under 1 % per post, because facebook continues to tweak its Algorithm to prioritize posts from family and friends over brand pages, so social media is losing its potential as An organic traffic blog as more and more content is posted on each platform by brands.

Who are posting more content, so their content can possibly break thru. The additional noise From content being posted by other brands, who are posting more content, so their content, Can possibly break thru the additional noise from content being posted by other brands? Who are posting more content, so their content can possibly break thru. The additional noise From content being posted by other brands, who are posting more content, so their content, Can possibly break thru the additional noise from content being posted by other brands? Who are posting more content, so their content can possibly break thru.

The additional noise From content being posted by other brands, who are posting more content so…, the point is organic traffic from social Media has been going down for years, you’re just not going to get the reach or Visibility, you did in the past as brands and marketers. You have no choice but to adapt. While social media has been the dominant platform. Over the last 5 to 10 years, social messaging apps like facebook, messenger and instagram Direct are growing much faster than social media platforms.

There are now more folks using the top four Messaging apps than people using the top four social media sites, the rise of social messaging signifies a change In folks’ behaviors and preferences towards more personal one-to-one communications, when folks view social media, they are no Longer, just thinking about the posts on their news, feed, they’re, also thinking about reaching Your business for customer support through twitter receiving timely information or ordering Products through a facebook, messenger chatbot and all the other communications that come Through these messaging apps brands that only push out marketing content, On social media will miss out on this massive opportunity to serve customers in meaningful Ways and might be left obsolete on social media engagement is a key indicator of the quality Of your content, does your content elicit positive responses? From your fans for the social media platform, algorithms to prioritize your content to be Seen and heard on social media organically, you must create content that engages your Fans the number of engagements on your social media Posts highly influences the number of people who will see them if lots of folks engage with your content.

The platform algorithm will take it as a sign that your post is interesting and will more Likely show that post to more people, I learned a long time ago that the shorter Path to success is learning what those who you depend upon for your success need to be Successful themselves and to help them get there, so it might help for you to step into the Shoes of the platform for just a second: what do you think they need to be successful? They need attention and eyeballs.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-yEQmoad1nU

They need people to linger on that page where They are displaying ads, they need people to be captive to their platform. Now what keeps users captive on their platform? So they can sell more ad space. I’ll give you one guess…! It’s interesting! Engaging content, if you go look deeper into this and study The search algorithms on these different sites, you’ll get a lot more information, but to boil it down if there are just a few Interactions or a lot of negative interactions on a piece of your content: the social media Algorithms will assume that it’s uninteresting irrelevant or not useful and show it to fewer Folks, so the more positive interactions on your Post, the more people you will reach on social media, ok.

… I feel like i’m beating a dead horse. At this point either you get that or you don’t if, after this explanation, your ultimate goal – On social media is still, traffic leads or conversions. It’s tough for the average brand But if you break it down to what’s going to drive, traffic leads and conversions, it’s still Engagement, that’s your top priority. It’s not rocket science here, folks, the more Interactions, a brands content has overall the higher the traffic to its website.

So how do we get there if you think about The kind of posts that get interactions you can’t be lazy and just post a bunch of links. You have to do everything you possibly can To get those interactions and engagements up and that’s a new article i’ll need to make if there isn’t a strong direct revenue from Social media, why waste your time? The primary reason to be on social media is To build your brand through engagement, brand-building is important because a customer’s Journey with brands is almost never linear.

Most customers rarely go from an instagram Post to your website from the link in your profile, ( by the way “ link in profile”, is A joke cut it out. ) then, to your checkout to purchase it’s more. Like someone hears about your product, Through a friend on the same day that customers sees your facebook, Posts enjoys the content later they reference about you in a blog post, the following week, the customer searches on Google and see your brand via a retargeted ad, maybe they recognize your brand and tweet You a question about your products, you replied to them promptly and then they Decide to order the product from your website now this is a simplified version of an actual Customer journey, but it’s still a good frame of reference next.

… Why else is social media? Important 85 % of folks have to see something on social Media more than once before they will purchase it, but don’t overdo it. They will also unfollow You, if you post too many promotional messages, so that’s a delicate balance there by engaging your customers through timely Customer support one-to-one conversations and interesting or helpful content. You can Strengthen your brand image, then, when these customers are deciding, if They should purchase or continue to purchase from you, this brand equity that you’ve built Up can help win them over social media interactions, increase customer Loyalty, consumers who engage with their favorite brands On social media have stronger relationships with those brands than consumers who don’t Engage at all, they have a better opinion of the brand they Leave more positive reviews, they stay loyal and keep being paying customers longer and Then also they recommend the brands more to others and that third-party validation is gold for A brand when customers trust your brand they’re more Likely to give you their email address, attend a live event or purchase your product when You ask them to Subscriptions stroke, my ego and they also Go a long way to increase my discoverability here on the Youtube.

“Greedy Influencers” – Why The Integrity Of Your Brand Is At Risk

I don’t give a shit how rich you are, how much subscribers, how much money you have. I think, a lot of the times. The way you ultimately treat people speak so much more powerfully versus all that shit. Okay, guys! Is it just me, or is it getting hot in here, because we’re about to roast some of your favorite influencers, get it no hey guys.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Jane and if you’re new here, what’s up I’m 18 year old entrepreneur and today’s topic is actually requested by you – guys. A lot of people, maybe you’re, reading, create content online and I think the biggest thing we’re always curious about is how to grow. But also how to make a business out of it and we’ve seen so many people become really successful. On this platform, we’ve seen youtubers make millions of dollars from making articles selling their brands merch you get it, and I think so often we forget to think about brand integrity, which is why today, I’m going to answer your guys has 3 top questions about how to Build a sustainable business but keep your brand check.

So, if you guys wouldn’t know more and we’re about to expose some of your favorite people, I’m just keep on reading, I recommend actually grabbing a snack if you’re reading this. This article is better when you’re consuming not only information but a what a food of some choice so grab a snack. If you were, if you haven’t already hey Jade you’re super cool and I’ve been reading, you a lot lately. Thank you.

I am an inspiring fashion. Influencer and I follow a lot of successful bloggers in my knees, how do you engage a more mature audience that is more likely to wash than just be silent woo? This is a really really good question like I don’t even know how to properly answer it. So, let’s see what I pull up, madam ass, okay, so for anyone doesn’t know, what’s going on, I like to use the Selena Gomez or Miley Cyrus approach right.

These Disney stars, at least when I grew up, were everything to me. I don’t know why, but these Disney stars, whatever they did, I fangirl over. I will talk to my mom I’ll comment on their post. When I was younger, I would read a show every single time but, as I grew older, more shit happened. I got busier and now I’m less fan girlie. So this question is tailored to people who maybe are at the point where their audience isn’t at a fan, girlie mode because they’re so much more mature.

I guess the question I’m always personally curious is how would you create an engaging fanbase if your audience isn’t at that age point? So, if you’re someone who’s curious about that, this is what I have to say. You think about it. There’s a certain age point where, yes, your audience matures they’re less active because their attention is spread out when you grow up, I mean I’m only 18 years old, but I can tell you you: when you grow up, you get more work, you think about money.

There’s a lot more stressful things that you keep about so your time and attention for entertainment is getting a lot less, so your attention is, however, so fleeting. If you really want to engage with a more mature audience, you need to be able to solve their problem. I think the biggest thing that a lot of fashion influencers do is, I would say, I’m not I’m going to roast anyone, but you know it’s kinda, like a tick, tock er, a tick talker is someone who probably makes a lip-synch article you’ve definitely seen.

Okay. If you haven’t seen one your life, I know one of the famous ones is like Lauren, gray, right and Lauren gray. You know you read a cool little article, then you just like it and you swipe away and that’s the end because you’re not there she’s not really solving any problems, she’s just dancing with her belly button open right, okay, Mona! I want to make a quick disclaimer and also say that if you’re someone who tells stories or is a movie maker that entertains people that’s also solving people’s problem, humor and laughter is solving someone’s needs, because when we are busy at work, you know we want to Relieve stress so don’t be limited to and I think, solving a problem as thinking you have to be like an informative value teacher.

You can also tell stories and add humor just make sure you’re adding value to someone’s life, whether it’s humor education or motivation. I have a whole article about adding value. If you want to read the article I’ll link it below on ways, you can do it without feeling overwhelmed to answer this question properly. Just try to stray away from tik-tok type of content and focus on value based giving, for example, story times a lot of personal advice.

Q & A is going into your audience and seeing them asking them. What are you currently facing? If you don’t know, ask there’s fucking 7 million features on your Instagram stories to do Q & A and polls. So you know what your market is facing and I think my educated, our self and what’s going on you’re able to create engagement because true engagement when we can older it’s just conversations right. It’s less of this like yeah.

Like I love you, it’s a two-way street. My biggest advice, if you are trying to engage someone, the older, is to create conversations and the best way to start conversation is by solving the problem and asking. How can I help you how’s? That made sense, I don’t know. I do think it’s interesting, though, because I don’t think there’s anything wrong with tic tucker’s and we love Lauren gray, all right.

So the second question is: I’m a fashion, blogger too, and I want to collaborate with well known world brands. It’s important that I concentrate on a specific location, for instance, if i’ma from Russia. Is it better for me to write in a Russian audience or gather in English? Do big brands give a shit about location, I’m struggling what language to decide from? Firstly, you understand why you want to work with big brands, because one, it’s typically a nightmare, because big brands typically don’t even reach out to most people.

They have influencer marketing agencies, so you’re just going to deal with the middleman, which aka means they’re just going to take more money from you. So just ask yourself: why do you want to work with big brands if it’s, because you genuinely believe in Nike or because you like, genuine, like this brand, like that’s another story, but sometimes I feel like a lot of people just want to work a big brand.

So they can feel cool, but you need to know why, because it will bite you in the ass and sometimes like you eat to where you want to go. For example, there was a big company that wanted to work with me, and I thought it was great because I felt cooler it’s a corporate big company and I remember it was actually fucking horrible, because there were so much they were so slow like to make a Decision they have to go through their HR for Ventura, CEO and then they inter came back to me and be like hey Jade.

Sorry, we don’t have the budget for this project. What I’m trying to say is know why one you want to work with Vikram. The second step is chase request, my language, the answer is typically, if you are working with a big brand, you need to know where their audience comes from and who their customer is. If you want to work with Nike right and you feel like there’s biggest problem, is they can’t reach the Russian market, then speak and Russian, because you’re going to connect your audience better? It’s like this.

The reason why I you have to understand what brands you want to work with is because we want you want to help them essentially spread. The word right so by default. Ask yourself: does this brand struggle reaching this demographic? I think a lot of influencers are competing because they don’t feel like they’re special, but if you do speak a language you can leverage it. It would definitely double down on your language because it just makes you stand out and it’s a tricky conversation right.

Some brands. Only one english-speaking customers, so it depends you have to do a research, I would say all right guys, it’s getting hot huh and if your support enjoyed this article, please give this article a like and subscribe on this blog. We talk about social media growth, starting a business, and I am here for you because I genuinely have a passion for helping. You guys destroy your brand and hopefully you know give you some big sister advice or big brother advice, but yeah make sure you guys, like this article and subscribe if you haven’t already okay.

So the third and last question is by far the most important. I don’t think you need anything else, but this piece of information. Okay, so this question is also from seventh Lana. You could you guys quick, really good, really, good questions? She asks. No one really talks about ethics and values of a brand. Can a brand turn you down because they don’t want to be associated with you also, vice versa.

Can I turn down people if I don’t believe in their product, so I think this can be solved and towards brand integrity. If you want to work with a brand – and you know matched what they need and also on the other and find brands that you actually resonate with, we have to stop taking short-term decisions. I don’t give a shit how rich you are, how much subscribers, how much money you have. I think, a lot of the times.

The way you ultimately treat people speak so much more powerfully versus all that shit. I can give you so many examples. Okay, there is a you know, famous case right now: there’s a youtuber called Britney Donna Fitness, Instagram fitness influencer, accused of scamming clients across the country. Britney dawn took their money for fitness plans and then never delivered, and now many of them are taking those complaints.

She had a scandal about scamming her own audience. You know we’ve heard about maybe that Jacqueline Hill scandal we have to stop thinking so short term. I mean we asked we need to make money, get our coin cyst. But how is this affecting your brand long term and this long term really mean like stop thinking in three-month cycles of like what can I hit this quarter but think about what do I want to hit in five years? Because when you think about five year, visions and again going back to the initial conversation like when you know your, why why you work with a brand? Why you do something you think longer term? Which means you know what you stand for.

So what brand comes up to you say? Hey mr. John, I want to work with you I’ll pay, you ten grand. Will you do it, but you know deep down that this will long-term collide with your morals, which is maybe not selling a product. It’s a scam! You’re going to turn it down and by doing that, you’re going to save time, but not only that your own brand and value which is going to keep you longer term, because your audience will trust you.

I think so often we trade and Trust for short-term benefits and integrity is all about doing the right thing when no one is reading. So, if you’re, someone who is still confused on how to keep brand integrity, here’s my three tips. You just need to know it’s really simple step, one if you’re trying to keep your brand integrity step. One is to know your. Why know what you want like? What do you stand for? Ask yourself out? What do you stand for? If you don’t know, you’re going to make short-term shit you’re going to shortcut your way into success, you’re going to buy followers, I’ve done that you’re going to take deals that you don’t really actually believe in I’ve done that you’re going to make brands change you for Who you are because you want the money I’ve done.

That example, I can give you a story time at the very end of this article, if you want to hear actually personal situation to me, step two find brands that have your. Why, if your, why is to stay ethical or save – I don’t know beautiful in your own skin, don’t take a detox product like a fitness, tea cuz! It’s going to collide with your audience right, so find brands with a similar. Why it’s very simple: if they don’t have an about Us page about how they source their ingredients and you or someone who’s ethical, your problems shown to that bring them actually.

In one instance, there was this company that basically does Instagram growth automation and they were going to pay me. I think two grand for a article just mentioning their name and I post hundreds of years on this blog. But I remember my whole. Why is to build a brand long-term and don’t use shortcuts and there? Why is to make shortcuts? I said no, because I Baloo that you would collide with what I believed in and therefore break so many of my audience’s trust and also my own morals and ethics.

Again, brand integrity, so I guess step three is like you heard: you need to connect your Y with their Y and, if that’s a yes, you should be good to go into that deal and taking that money, because it’s an exchange of saying true to your core And building a company off of good ethics. I know this is may be basic information, but I feel like step so important if you haven’t spent 10 minutes just like sipping your tea and thinking about your wife.

Please please do that today. I don’t give a shit if you are, you know scrolling on YouTube. We’re really fuckin stressed out just sit down and ask yourself why? What is your, why what do you stand for? It will save you so much more time and build trust all right guys. I want to quickly shut it to the current winner. Do you wan na be the next homeowner just corn, below your questions? Your thoughts? Do you agree with me with brand integrity? How do you guys stay true, and let me know if you have any stories of other influencers that have fucked up and maybe we can learn from alright guys.

I love you guys so much domination. Thank you for reading. I will see you guys in the episode. 2 of the startup, if you don’t know what the startup is, I invite you to my youtube series, which is my story of how I grew my business. HOW TO BE SEEN WHEN YOU’RE JUST GETTING STARTED + INFLUENCER COLLABS | Ask Charlo Greene Ep. 2 Pt. 2

My head is not going to fit out this door. You did throw out some questions. Let me pull up your email pricing and more info and drop shipping. What tips of the Eiji world you have for marketing your thoughts? I’m trying to become an influencer as well to generate more connections on the well. What I can tell you, I’m actually doing right now, as we have this conversation, is I’m also doing my makeup while live-streaming once I finish this article we’re going to have a snippet that goes up on our Instagram page and I’m going to be using the hashtags For every single makeup brand that I’m using so that I get that extra visibility, as opposed to me, just posting coaching content, you got ta, stop gassing me up.

My head is not going to fit out this door so another thing there are really really popular brands. I spent a ton of time researching my avatar and exactly where I could find her and what she’s into, and I know for a fact that she likes the fashionable clothing brand. So most of the clothes that I wear in my articles are fashion OVA. I also tagged that brand because it has tons of traffic going to that hashtag.

So it’s not just the clothing and it’s not just the makeup. The only thing I actually tagged with an @ symbol is my clothing brand in that photo and in future photos. But I’m using hashtags from all of these other brands that are not in the same exact lane, but I know these are things that would appeal to my target demographic that also likes cardi B and also likes the shade roam so you’re going to see me commenting In posts inside of the shade room, because that increases my visibility to my target demographic and you’re, going to be seeing me in the streams when people are searching for the fashion.

Oh, the hashtags, wearing their clothes that are just directly promoting my own clothing brand. So well, I do think you trying on different jewelry things and pushing those. I think your focus should be on here, but you should be really conscious about how exactly you can have these they’re kind of, like unofficial brand collaborations, where you don’t even need the cosign from that brand. Their hashtag is out there, so you can utilize it but anytime that you post anytime, that you’re preparing to post always keep in mind how you can increase discoverability of every single post, whether it’s the shirt that you decide to put on, because it’s a more known Brand to your actual demographic, whether it’s music that you can play in the background and hopefully not get any strikes from Instagram for copywriting.

Like all of that stuff, you should be conscious of. I just had a conversation with a woman who had this beautiful photo shoot, but what I said she should have done, instead of just choosing a random photographer, instead of just choosing a random hairstylist to install, instead of choosing random models to be in the photos, she Should have chosen models that had an actual Instagram following and posted like it was their job because they would have appreciated the freeway just as much as the nobodies that are not working to build up their profiles.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G5z1uDPGHpE

She should have worked with a hairstylist that was respected in the physical area that she is working to target. Why? Because, then, that lets everyone that follows that hairstylist know that you are your company in the market and that this stylist everyone respects really with you. She should have chosen a photographer that people are used to sing in Los Angeles there’s. This photographer named, I think Kim Cordell.

He shoots for a number of brands that I absolutely love his shoes for a number of makeup like that’s, who I am hiring for the next big brand shoot for my company, because I know he’s going to post it on his following and his following is going To see that, I am also in the same game and at that same caliber, so I don’t even need to do extra brant work to build up that viability that I need with his people, because once they see that I’m associated with his brand, I get to Borrow the trust that he’s built with his audience really shortly.

This other person that we were in touch with about this next influence or campaign that we’re going to run was asking us to commit to sending out at least six six thirteen blonde 24-inch full lace units and, and then, when we started to do the numbers and Looking at the following count, it was clear that at least 90 % of their following had been purchased and wasn’t real, because their engagement is lower than even our Instagram page, which only is like they said they had about 35,000, and so their engagement is less than Our Instagram page, which I think has well there, are 13,000 followers on it so like, which is also a why it’s so important that you also run your social and know what to look out for when you are planning on cutting checks.

For this sort of thing, I think the best way to do influencer marketing is to do in-kind. Exchanges like what I was saying target your local demographic. You are in Arizona, I would get in all of the Arizona hair hashtags and see who gets the most likes. See which stylist is king and let them know you want to send them some units. They can wear them themselves. They can sell them to a client. It doesn’t really matter as long as they post at least one time tagging your company, so that you can take that photo hold on to it and recycle it.

Every couple of weeks, letting the people in your area know this is who MFE with and depending on the number of likes and then the amount of traction that you get then circling back to that person and letting them know hey thanks. So much for that. Let’s do something regularly moving forward if you would be open to it and then, if not, if they’re asking for a check go to the second most popular then go to the third most popular, then the fourth.

At the end of the day, these units are not cheap, not when you’re getting them wholesale, not directly from the Fed like it’s so you’re, giving them not just a unit. That’s a few hundred bucks you’re, giving them the opportunity to turn that unit into thousands of dollars for themselves with nothing they have to lose. So I think that’s the way that you should lead into that conversation with them.

Get VERIFIED on Instagram for FREE (Less than 5 Mins)

So clearly, things are going in the right direction. People are getting verified and this is in fact working so in just a second we’re going to dive into my computer. So I could walk you through the entire process on how to work on your verification and in addition to that, if you’re new to the blog welcome be sure to hit that subscribe button for daily content. Just like this article you’re reading right here.

So without any further ado, let’s go ahead and get started and walk you guys through exactly how to get started with verifying your Instagram account for 100 % free. So, as you can see, we are now inside of my computer and I’m going to walk you through how to get this verification alright. So the process is very, very simple, believe it or not, and on this screen right here, I’m going to pop up a little screen recording on how you can actually go through it inside of your settings in about 30 seconds or less and by the way, if You’re not following me yet make sure you go ahead and follow me at Toni mast official for some more content from yours truly but simply know.

If you go to your settings and then you scroll down to request verification and after pressing that you’re going to want to fill out, that form where you go ahead and enter your name and also a little bit about what your brand and what your account is About and filling in that proper category, so they know exactly what kind of verification you are applying for, in addition to a copy of your photo ID that will match your name now.

What is going to make sure that you actually get that Instagram blue tick and actually get it verified? Now, there’s a few general qualifications out there that instagrams going to be looking for because they don’t necessarily want to give everyone a verification check mark next, our name on Instagram because out simply dilute the purpose of it now. Instagram has this feature the verified? That’s actually you and that it’s not some fake account or someone trying to impersonate you or someone trying to scam someone, especially in the business realm.

So this blue tick is very, very important and can actually add a lot of value to your business. So with that being said, we want to go ahead and give us a shot. Now it’s not a hundred percent given that you’re going to actually get verified by filling out this application, so the general qualifications, first and foremost you’re going to want to have a significant amount of followers. If you don’t have any presence on Instagram, there’s going to be very little likelihood that you’ll actually get that verification, because if they started giving you a verification, blue ticks on everyone’s usernames, it’s really going to take away from the meaning of that all right.

So ideally you’re going to want to have at least twenty five or twenty thousand followers to try and get verified now. Yes, many people do not have that up with consistent content and stuff I’m going to touch on in a future article I’ll show you how to build out that viral content strategy to actually work your way to a larger following on Instagram, okay. So beyond having that significant amount of followers on Instagram, that’s not the only thing that necessarily cuts it you’re going to want to have a strong presence on other platforms outside of Instagram.

Now this could be YouTube. This could be twitch. This could be Facebook, whatever it may be. You’re also going to want to have these linked in your description and a little bit of a blurb about what you do inside of your bio, so that linking your description is very, very valuable when it comes to reassuring Instagram that you’re someone that deserves to be Verified on their platform, okay, in addition to that, something that can also help you and be in you know your corner to help you get that verification is publication or press coverage if you’re featured and on a specific website or a magazine, anything of the sort.

Your brand, being featured inside of a publication of some sort, is going to help you go ahead and get on Instagram side to go ahead and give you that blue tick. So with that, the bigger brand presence that you have overall, the easier is going to be to get verified as simple as that, the more you have in your corner, the better chances you’re going to get verified, and these are just a few general qualifications.

Another thing Instagram is typically going to look for is existing spoof or impersonating accounts of you or your brand that are already out there on the platform. So if there are people trying to take your username with maybe a period or an underscore in there and they’re trying to come off as your brand or your personal self, then instagrams going to be looking for that as well. Something that could work to your advantage is, if you actually have a copyright or trademark for your own business.

So, if someone’s trying to impersonate your business, for example, providing that and filling out this form that I’m going to show you guys on my screen right now is reporting to Instagram and having something on file that is also working or you such as you know, proof Of a trademark or proof of a copyright or concept that someone may have taken from you, so the intellectual property Instagram is not the best.

With these response rates, it is a free platform and it is not easy to go ahead and get a hold of them or going to Instagram representative. That’s going to really dive in there and do the hard work for you to make sure you’re in the right position. But having those other qualifications that we talked before such a significant amount of followers, strong presence on other platforms and even featured in publications or press coverage is going to work to your advantage.

So that’s something that you definitely want to have and if you don’t have it already start hustling and try your best to get out there as much as possible. So with that being said, entering your complaint or filing a report to Instagram is something that can also help you in either retaining a loss. Username, that’s someone maybe hacked you someones, trying to impersonate you and also something on file that will help you move in the right direction of getting verified, because it’s clear that people are trying to impersonate you or your brand or your business.

So with that being said, go ahead and drop a comment down below. Let me know if you guys actually get verified, it’s not the easiest process or not accepting everyone right now. It’s really tough to go ahead and get accepted, but having some of these qualifications and working on these qualifications will definitely help you for sure. So if you have that brand presence inside and outside of Instagram, it’s going to help your likelihood to actually get verified.

So go ahead, fill out your application, just like the process. I showed you before I’m going to show it again right here on my screen, the screen recording on exactly how to submit your application to get verified on Instagram, and you can literally do this right now takes you less than 30 seconds. So why not give it a shot, even if it’s not the best likelihood that you’ll actually get verified, it is definitely worth a shot if you’re in that reasonable range and could actually use that blue tick on your account.

So without any further ado, I’m going to wrap up this article right here. I hope you guys enjoyed it, took away some value or learn something new, be sure to go ahead and hit the like button down below and do not forget to subscribe for more information. WHY RUN A FACEBOOK ENGAGEMENT AD?

Me a comment 20 minutes ago asking about a article that I cut a while back on running an engagement ad on how to run a Facebook engagement ad and sometimes people get it right away. Sometimes people don’t and that’s why I love your comments. Man, if you have any questions whatsoever drop me. A comment below question me on my articles.

Question me on strategies. Ask questions, that’s how you get answers to what the thoughts that are going on in your mind. You know all that stuff that you’re thinking of or assuming or trying to try to figure out, I’m telling you man most likely. Your answer is a question away. So if you can, if you can drop comments below man, I promise you. I would do my best to get to every single one of them and drop a new article to really kind of bring you up to par on where, where you know you should be and where your ads could be in this particular case.

So this one had to do with an engagement ad article that I made and, for some reason, Miriam is not really having success with it, and so what I’m going to do is I’m going to kind of just add my two cents and and just kind of Walk you through another engagement, ad and and kind of just share some more information on on making you understand it and just making it more clear and in making sure that you guys really understand the differences between all these different ads.

The pros and the cons and just the advantages and the disadvantages of running an engagement ad or a article view ad or lead capture, ad, really understanding the differences between all the different ads that you can possibly possibly be running through Facebook, because that’s where it truly Starts man, it truly starts when you come over here to your Facebook page, you click on create and you click on add it all starts there when you click on that ad.

It’s going to bring you to this section right here, and this is what you want to bookmark so bookmark. This page right here come up here, hit the star and just bookmark this tab, because this is where all the magic is going to happen. Okay, now um, this is where it starts. An engagement is right here, but I want to really kind of edge, Kate, you and kind of share. What’s the purpose of an engagement like why an engagement ad right, it all comes down to your goal.

You guys it all comes down to your objective, like what the heck are you trying to do on my blog. I talk a lot about online marketing and when it comes to online marketing, there’s many aspects to it, but I truly believe at the end of the day, it’s all about capturing a lead. It’s all about making a sell, and/or capturing a lead, and so with that being said, coming in here to the Facebook platform, whether I’m running a Facebook ad or whether I’m running an Instagram ad or whether even running a YouTube ad 99 % of people.

That are that are running ads are doing it for those two main reasons to either make a sell or to capture a lead. Okay. Now those are the two top reasons. The third reason is for some type of brand awareness or some type of exposure. Okay, that’s the third reason, so so to tell you the truth. The third reason when you, when you go for for in this case, engagement, which I call exposure brand awareness, it’s it fits number three.

It fits that category of the third, the third reason, but mainly people that are that are going for for for that type of an ad are mainly people that are that are that, are how can I say this that are that are just trying to get some Type of exposure: okay, they’re, not driving the click to a landing page they’re, not driving the click to a checkout on your website, whether it’s a Shopify or an Amazon or your own e-commerce website.

So your objective isn’t to drive a click to buy something. So, therefore, you are most likely just looking for exposure you’re, looking for just brand awareness, you’re looking for exposure, you’re looking to just get your name out right, and so those are the people s the third reason and and the third types of people you know that Run ads, it’s it’s it’s if that time, a person that is not necessarily looking for lead or a cell right away.

So, to tell you the truth, the way I look at that is that if you have extra budget, if you have extra money to throw at Facebook ads, then you can start running engagement. You can run maybe brand awareness and reach you can maybe go for. Go for go for article views, go for article views right if you’re just looking to spend some money and get and get your feet wet if you’re, just learning and you’re trying to really explore and really understand the differences between all these ads, because at the other Day, it’s going to be your analytics.

It’s going to be your reporting. It’s going to be your numbers that determine the differences between all this stuff right, you’re going to have to look at your report, but what I’m going to do is really give you give you give you a heads up and give you a cheat sheet on how To really approach it, engagement in this particular case, shout-out to Miriam Miriam, is, is trying to run an engagement ad okay.

So what I’m, assuming? What I’m, assuming is that Miriam is not looking to drive a click to a landing page, because if we, if we were, then our objective would be to capture a lead right, we’re driving it to a landing page in order for them to put their name and Email, that’s going to be a traffic type of ad or it’s going to be a conversions. It’s definitely not engagement. Okay now can people see the engagement ad click on it and then go to your website yeah.

That can happen for sure, but you’re telling Facebook, hey man, that’s not really my objective. If it happens, it happens great, but my objective is to get article views or my objective is to get just brand awareness or reach or engagement, which all kind of cover. What those are exactly in more detail, but if you’re, if you’re, not driving a click to a landing page, where you’re going to be capturing a name and number or if you’re not driving a click to a website where you’re looking to make a sell.

Okay, then agent is something you can run and again. I just truly believe it’s only if you have more budget, because because at the end of the day, I’m willing to bet the majority of you guys that are reading this article right now are looking to do number one or two number one you’re looking to make A sell online number two you’re looking to capture lead, so really engagement wouldn’t be your type of Facebook ad.

Now again, if you have an extra budget, if you have more money to spend engagement, I’m going to tell you why people run engagement, I’m going to tell you the benefits of an engagement ad, but an engagement ad, wouldn’t be something really for you right now. If you’re, if you’re really trying to turn it trying to accomplish step one or two, you know reason one or reason 2. So if you’re, if you’re not doing that, then an engagement ad would be something you can run.

Okay, so an engagement ad. Let’s take a look at, let me, let me see if I can find. Actually I for sure would be able to find. Let me see if I can just go through my newsfeed and let’s see if we can find an engagement ad okay. Now again, as I mentioned, the objective with an engagement ad is to not necessarily get that person to click. Okay, they’re not we’re not looking to get them to a website to buy something; we’re not looking to get them to a landing page, to give up a name and number okay: we’re not giving away anything for free, there’s, no free download, there’s no free training article! There’s no name and email: that’s not the objective, we’re not taking them there! Okay! So with that being said, our whole thing would be to keep them on Facebook, keep them on Facebook and get them to engage in the post aka, the ad okay.

So as you scroll through Facebook, let’s see if we can find an engagement, ad, okay and and – and I could just I can just look at it in and 99 % of the time I can know exactly what type of ad it is just by looking at It so, let’s see if I can find an engagement ad, this could be an engagement ad. Okay, now I’ve seen way way, bigger numbers, but bestseller publishing this a article of Russell Brunson.

Obviously this is not coming from clickfunnels. This is not Russell running this ad. It’s someone else: it’s bestseller publishing now this right here could possibly be an engagement at for sure. I’m 99.9 % sure that this is an engagement ad. So anytime, you see the word sponsored and you’re scrolling through and you see a ton of engagements you’ve seen a ton of people like it. You see a ton of people share it, which is not exactly a lot, but the ad could have just started today for all we know, and that could be a ton of engagement just for today alone, and then they run it for another five days and before You know it, the 15 comments are going to be a hundred and fifty comments and the thirty shares are going to be.

Ninety shares right, so this ad could have just started today for all we know, but what I do know what I’m. What I’m willing to bet is that it’s an engagement ad, because you see the engagement anytime. You see a ton of shares, a ton of comments and a ton of likes. That is an engagement ad. Now, there’s a learn more button, so I can click on it and I can go off of Facebook and I can go to a landing page and there’s my name and number.

But the objective was not that the objective was to keep these people on the platform and get them to comment, get them to share, get them to like okay. Now, what are some reasons why people would do that right if they’re not looking to capture a lead or, if they’re not looking to make a sell, necessarily at the end of the day they are, but not in this particular case, not with this specific ad objective.

It’s an engagement ad, what’s the purpose of it, and why would someone even run it? Why would bestseller publishing run this engagement ad? A couple reasons is because of the social proof when you’re scrolling through and you see different posts and there’s a ton of people liking. It a ton of people sharing it. It gives off social proof that a bunch of people are liking. This post, which is true little, do we know that it’s coming from an ad right, because once once they stop it, that engagement stays and this post could be a post on their business page and it’s no longer running as an ad.

But the social proof remains, so it was worth it to spend the 20 bucks to get a ton of people to share it, a ton of people to like it. So when we turn the ad off, those numbers remain in it, and now our looks like an authority, it looks like it’s been seen by a ton of people which it has and and little do people know that it was an actual ad that made all that Happen so number reason reason number one why this person would run.

It is for the social proof to get the numbers up high and it really build that credibility. Okay, what could another reason? Another reason be. Another reason could be that this person didn’t have a landing page which they probably do. I don’t even want to click on, learn more because I know where this is going. I seen this ad before, but this and there’s a link right there in the actual and the actual coming in the in the copy up here in the text, so that there’s the link, so this learn more, is definitely taking me to this link right here, but Reason number two could have been that they didn’t have a link.

You know a lot of people can run. You can run an engagement ad, someone that doesn’t have a landing page. You don’t have to have a website, you don’t even have to have any URL at all and you can run this engagement ad and just get a bunch of people to comment. That’s reason. Number two, so reason number two a lot of people. I don’t even have a landing page, don’t even have a website, but they want to run Facebook ads and keep everything on.

Facebook they’ll run an engagement ad and just get a ton of people to comment a ton of people to comment now, one one downfall about that is that you obviously have to keep looking at your Facebook all damn day, because if you have ads running – and you Have people commenting it’s your job to make sure that you’re replying it’s your job to be stuck to your phone like frickin flies on, and you have to be commenting and replying to all these comments, because you’re paying for those comments right.

Those aren’t just random comments. Coming because you put up something organically, those are paid engagements, so you want to make sure that you’re, actually replying and staying engaged with the post. That’s the whole purpose of an engagement ad, so you can get up the the you can get the Facebook algorithm working in your favor, because a ton of people are commenting and Facebook keeps showing it to more people.

Okay, that’s number two reason: number three is to get a shitload of people to share it: okay, depending on your budget, if you had 50 bucks like let’s say, for example, we put 50 bucks at this engagement ad this 3. This 30 would most likely end up at 300 within a few days. We’d have hundreds of people share it. That’s a huge huge benefit. Huge benefit. Is that worth the 50 bucks hell yeah to get a bunch of people to comment to keep them on Facebook? Remember we don’t have a landing page, let’s just say we don’t have a website, we’re just running ads and keep it keeping the traffic on Facebook.

It was worth it for all those people to comment, and it was for sure worth it for all those people to share it. They all shared it to all their friends and tens of thousands of people most likely saw this article which which, which was super powerful. So the fourth reason: here’s here’s the fourth reason and that’s kind of all. I got for you. The fourth reason why someone would run an engagement ad is to build custom audiences of the people who are actually engaging in it.

Okay and the only reason why you would do that is to retarget those people in the future. So, for example, I run this engagement ad. I run it for 5 days at $ 10 a day I put $ 50 into it. What I’m going to be able to do now is I’m going to be able to go into Facebook and create a custom audience of everyone who engaged in this post? So all the people who shared it all the people who commented all the people who liked it all the people who clicked on it Facebook is going to allow me to categorize all those people create a custom audience and then therefore, I can retarget that audience in The future with ad number two that’s powerful, so as people start to start to click and comment and share Facebook’s going to collect all that data for you and that’s now considered a warm market.

Now you can go out there and run the next ad or in the next ad, run multiple ads thereafter and retarget. Those people who engaged in your previous ads, that’s powerful. That’s the name of the game, no matter what objective you’re running is retargeting you’re, going to be retargeting people who are engaging you’re going to be retargeting people who are landing on your pages, because you’re pixel in them you’re going to be retargeting.

People who are reading your articles, because Facebook’s tracking, all the article views right so creating custom audiences are what you actually have to do in fact, stay to the end of this article stay to the end of the article and at the end, you’re going to see Me do another article on how to create a custom audience and why you need to be creating custom audiences. All this engagement needs to be in a custom audience that you’re going to be able to retarget with future ads in in the future.

Okay with ads in the future, so stay to the end, you’ll see that article come up, that’s how to create custom audiences with with Facebook. So that’s super super powerful, but mainly those are the top 4 reasons. Men why you would run an engagement ad so so, and you know what let me let me let me let me add, number 5. Here’s number. 5. Here’s number 5. Okay, here’s the top! Here’s a fifth reason: it’s because of the engagement because of the numbers because of the social proof, so let’s say, for example, I have $ 100 to spend on a Facebook on Facebook which ain’t, so you want to step your game up in 2020.

You got to be coming with a little bit more budget than that, but let’s say, for example, just for the numbers sake. Let’s say we have a hundred bucks and, let’s say 50 bucks we’re going to spend on this engagement ad and the whole purpose is to get a shitload of people to comment like and share okay after the $ 50 budget, that ad is turned off. We then go run a second ad, using in the same exact post using the same exact ad, but rather than engage, or I should say post but but rather than running an engagement ad.

Let’s say we run it again for conversions, but we only run it to the people who engaged that’s retargeting, but then also we take it again and we run it under article views now whenever we want to grab this contest. This is what we, what we call an asset whenever we want to run this asset again. Let’s say this is a high converting ad. A lot of people engaged a lot of people, viewed it and it’s a good article and we shut it off now and we want to rerun it again when we rerun it again.

This is number five when, whenever we rerun this this ad again, these numbers stay. So one reason to run a article I mean excuse me to run an engagement is to get all these numbers up and then we shut it off and run it again under, let’s say conversions, and by the time we run it under conversions. All these numbers are super high. That’s the reason. That’s the fifth reason. It’s a social proof, and I don’t know if that would reason number one chime at the rewind this article and read I myself, but it’s a social proof.

Okay, it’s a social proof, whether I said that as number one or not it’s it’s social proof when you have big numbers like that, and people are scrolling through, let’s see if we can find find one, that’s actually even bigger than that. As far as the numbers, let’s see look at this perfect example. Perfect, perfect example. This is a 30-second article man. This is rant from spark a our creators. Look at the engagement 8,000 people liked it.

Four hundred and five comments, 548 shares. That is the definition of an engagement ad okay. Now they ran it under that they ran the engagement at first under engagements right. They ran the ad under engagements. First, let’s say they put a couple hundred bucks to get these big big numbers. This is the very very first time that I’m seeing this ad I’ve never seen this ad. I don’t know who spark a our craters are, but hey Tripp, Tripp out on this look at it.

This way, let’s say, for example, they spent the last month targeting a completely different audience: okay and they ran it under engagement. They got all this engagement and they did it last month. Okay, now we’re in a new month and now they’re running it again, but under let’s say conversions and by the time they run it again. It’s coming to people like me and by the time I’m seen this ad for the very first time.

The numbers are absolutely ridiculous, so I’m looking at this and I’m saying holy, these people must be crushing. It 548 shares 405 comments. Are you kidding me who the hell are these people? They must be doing extraordinary right, that’s the assumption and that’s the perception and that’s what people think and that’s how that that’s social proof, and so it was worth the hundred bucks on the engagement.

They turn it off and then now they’re running it running it again, because it was a great article, so now they’re running it again under conversions over here under conversions, because they’re a whole objective now is to get people to download download, learn more which, when you Click on learn more: you can go to a page, a landing page and enter your name and email or or or yeah to download something.

That’s conversion, that’s akin version. An action is a conversion. An action is a cell or a or a lead capture. Okay, that’s conversion! That’s the conversion objective over here; okay, so if you’re looking to do any of that make a cell online or capture an actual name and number aka elite, it’s conversions! But if again, if you had extra budget, is it worth it to run? Engagement? First, to get a shitload of people to comment like and share and then take the same piece to come over here and run conversions.

Was it worth it hell? Yeah was worth it these people to have these big numbers like that? All that shows man has credibility. All that does is show social proof. It’s it’s it’s it’s it’s it’s it’s! It’s letting people like like me, think and assume that they’re the big swinging. You know what of the industry and they’re killing it. That’s all! I’m thinking big numbers. You know freaking crushing it.

That’s what I’m thinking and so that’s the whole purpose of an engagement man is to is to get people to stay on the platform, crank up the numbers and engage in your post and those are all the different ways they that are reasons why you would do It and in and if anything, in my opinion, the biggest reasons, why is to create the custom, audience and retarget those who engage and that’s exactly what you do with a article view ad.

So when you come in here and you run article views, the whole objective with article views is to not get people to click on it and go to a landing page or to get people to click on it and go buy, buy your product. That’s not article views. The whole objective with article views is to capture an audience is to create a custom audience of all the people who are actually viewing it. So then, therefore, you can go out there ad number 2, ad number, 3, ad number, 4 and retarget.

All the people who readed your article, that’s how you continue to stay top of mind and you continue to get in front of a warm market and that’s how your actual cost would remain super low, because all you’re doing is retargeting an existing warm market of people Who are already reading your stuff or engaging in your post? Ok, so I know that was a ton right there. You guys reread this article, if you and in in in in in and learn from it man, because those right there are all the reasons why an engagement ad is is, is worth it just depending on your budget and in depending on on your overall objective.

Okay, so what I’m going to do here? Man is all run. A quick engagement, ad I’ll put together something super random, real, quick and and just run it run it through. So you guys can know how I set it up and depending on what industry you’re in, if you’re, in housing or, if you’re in employment or, if you’re in credit. Okay, if you’re in insurance mortgage loans, make sure you click on one of these okay.

Because if you don’t, if you don’t check this box and in and in check – and you know, freaking mark the correct one – your ad will not be approved. Okay for sure, so I’m going to go with this one homeowners insurance, I’m going to run it on it. On a on a sample page right here, shot up to my boy, Robert, and we’re going to just set up a quick engagement ad under his his his recent post, and what I do also is I post every ad that I do 9 out of 10 ads That I do, I put it on the page first, okay now this right here is what he put up on the page on the fifth, and this is what he wrote being selfish, isn’t always bad, and what I’m going to do is I’m going to actually add To it, because this is going to be an engagement ad, so I want to see how how it, actually, you know, turns out.

So what I want to do is I want to. I want to simply ask a few questions in here up at the top, so I’m going to put I’m going to add to this being selfish, isn’t always bad? What are your thoughts drop? A comment below okay, so now we’re getting people to comment, we’re getting people to drop a comment. What are your thoughts? We’re asking them a question being selfish? Isn’t always bad? What are your thoughts drop? A comment below I’m going to save that and and and now we’re going to go in as an engagement ad, so whatever your engagement, that is ask a question, because the whole thing is is to get people to comment.

That’s the whole purpose of an engagement ad is to get people to comment, get people to share you. People like it. So let’s ask him: let’s hey what are your thoughts and let’s just get a shitload of people to comment below with their thoughts? Okay, so that this will be fun and we don’t have to put a huge budget towards it. So, let’s go with uhm: let’s go with we’re, going to go with and we’re not even going to go at CBO right now, because it’s going to be a one-time one-off ad.

So I’m not going to even do worry about the the campaign budget. Optimization. Let’s just run through this part here and set it up so custom audiences. We don’t have any custom audiences just yet so we’re going to come down here and we’re going to simply target his local area. People who live in the city of Norman okay actually know what we’re going to go with everyone in his state. Let’s go with everyone in the state Oklahoma.

How do you even spell Oklahoma, dude? Okay? So, let’s go with Oklahoma, we’re going to just target everyone in the actual state people who live in this state, okay and then and then, when you actually go with when you check that box and you go with housing or credit or or anything like that, like I did on the first page, you can no longer chew or change the actual age or the gender okay, so that remains the same and that’s totally fine and we’re not even going to we’re not even going to focus on on any of the detailed targeting we’re Going to leave it very very broad – and this is another another another key key strategy and a Golden Nugget tip running on an engagement ad a lot of times.

People will come in here and put in the actual demographics, the interests and the behaviors right. The detail targeting, but in this case I’m not I’m going to leave it straight bullying, I’m going to I’m going to leave it wide open, I’m going to leave it wide open, because my whole thing is: I want to grab an audience um um. This is a cold. Add I’m going out to a cold market. These are people that don’t know him.

Yet it’s an engagement ad okay. So what we’re going to do at the end of this at the end of this campaign, we’ll put five dollars a day for five days and at the end of the campaign, we’re going to get a bunch of people who engage and what? What I’m going to do is then be able to create a custom audience of everyone who engaged with this post and then and then retarget them in the future. Okay, so is that worth the 25 bucks heck yeah, it’s worth the 25 bucks, so we’re going to leave this part blank.

When I’m going to worry about that now, what we’re going to also do is we’re going to exclude people who, like his page, we don’t need to target those folks who, like the page, I’m going to leave it at automatic placements. That’s fine, post engagement is what we’re going for and then we’re going to go daily budget of $ 5 and we’re going to set a start and end date. So today is the 27th and I’m going to go with I’m going to go with 5 p.

M. We’re going to start it today and we’re going to go till the end of the month. Okay, so we’re going to go we’re going to go twenty seven! Five! Ten fifteen twenty we’ll put twenty dollars towards this ad and run it for the next four days. Okay, so this is how I normally set up my ads. You guys, because I don’t like to even though I do check my ads all damn all day. I mean I’m in the damn ads manager all day and I’m to tell you truth.

I am micromanaging it to a certain extent because I get high off the numbers. I get freaking high off the numbers, I love looking at the damn numbers and and and making sure that the ads performing you know right so, but if I happen to forget about it or if I happen to and and that’s what allows my mind to do, My mind allows me to forget about it, although I come in here and and read the numbers, like a hawk, my mind, is at ease, because I know that my mind.

I know in my mind that I have an end date already set up where I know that I’m not going to go over budget, that’s the biggest thing I don’t want to do. I don’t want to go over budget. I don’t want to forget about an ad that is still turned on and it’s been 70 days later and the damn ad is still turned on and it’s like dude. You don’t want that so so I always make sure that there’s an end date, but I still micromanage the ads and I’m looking at the ads all day and because it’s why I do full-time – and this would I do full-time so I’m always up in here.

But I still set a a start and end date for sure: okay, so I’ll go $ 5 a day run it for the next four days and then what I’m going to do is I’m going to hit continue and now we’re in the third step. So, as I mentioned, I post it on the page first, okay, so it goes on the business page first and then I come in here and run the ad. So what I’m going to do is I’m going to make sure that I have the correct page.

So I’m going to scroll down scroll down, get the right page, there’s the right page and then I’m going to use existing post. So you selected page we’ll just leave that as that and then we’re going to use existing post. And it’s going to be that last one that you just seen being selfish, it being selfish, isn’t always bad! You choose that post right. There you hit continue and now we have it there.

So we don’t have to write anything. We don’t have to upload a article or an image everything it’s already there, because it’s on the page, okay, so down here, and so oh say right here. This post can’t be used for for ads on Instagram, which is fine, okay, so, and then, if I want, I can add a call to action button. So again, even though it’s an engagement ad and people are going to be engaging with it.

Liking comment share. There’s a chance that someone can click, learn more and go to an actual landing page or go to a website right. There’s always that chance so right here, just to kind of back yourself up, you can always put some type of call to action. Button get quote: learn more, send message shop now, I’ll just put send message for now, since we’re not taking them off of Facebook, we’re going to leave them on Facebook and if they want, they can for sure always send a message, but we just want it.

We want it, we want to see the numbers we want to just kind of get some engagement going and again. The whole purpose of this is so I can create an audience, create a custom audience of people who engage in it and then I can retarget them in the future. Okay, so um preview not available unable to display a preview. Okay, it’s fine! It will refresh once and then right here I can create new or I can use existing.

So this is on just on the messaging which we don’t have an existing. So we’re going to just leave that, as is and then verify your changes, you hit confirm and you’re done you guys that is it! That’s how you set up an engagement ad and so hopefully that kind of answered some questions to Miriam. What you want to do is, if you have, if you know your interest, and you know your target audience then for sure put that in the detail targeting, but what a lot of times when it comes to the engagement, it’s good to leave it wide open as Well, because, at the end of it all I’m going to be doing is grabbing all the people who engaged with it as long as it’s within my city are within my state and or within my country on where I’m doing business like, I don’t want to send An ad worldwide and and and and and create a custom audience of all the people that who engage with it, because when I go and try to sell something to them in the future, they’re, not even my audience, I don’t want to do it that way.

So when you’re doing an engagement ad always make sure it’s within the same location within the locations that you’re able to do business. Okay, in this case the guys doing business in Oklahoma. So I’m not going to run this ad all across the country or in multiple countries, because if I get all that engagement and create a custom audience around, all those people who engaged when we go run. Facebook ad number two three and four we’re going to have an audience of a bunch of people that are out of our out of our demographics and that’s not what we want.

So in this case, we’re going straight for his state and we’re going to just find everyone who engages with the post and then retarget to retarget them in the future, with our custom audience and with feature Facebook and Instagram advertising. Okay. So hopefully that made sense. You guys shout to Miriam. Thank you so much for dropping a comment and asking a question. HOW TO BRAND YOURSELF AS AN INFLUENCER – MAKE MONEY WITH YOUR PERSONAL BRAND

Alright, guys Jesse, unlocked here, welcome to another article, and today we’re going to be going into a massive overview on. How do you become an influencer like what does it take to become an influencer and contrary to popular belief? I know that a lot of people think that you know I thought it that you have to have this massive following, like Tai Lopez like Gary Vee like they are influencers, but there are really really big influencers right.

Just like there can be a band. That is, let’s local, it’s indie right and then there’s major pop sensations, like you know, ariana grande Demi, Lovato, all those people right there. Just there they’re influencers, you know they’re they’re known they have a group of people that follow them, but they vary in size. So you’re going to have a similar experience as you become an influencer and as you find what it is that you’re passionate about what it is that you want to talk about.

What’s your message, what are you trying to share because that all factors into becoming an influencer? So, let’s get into the first thing now. The first thing is really building a following. You know – and this is where knowing yourself and knowing what you’re passionate about really comes in handy, because you’re going to want to know who it is that you want to talk to what’s your message. What are you trying to share? Because, as you realize this you’re going to know that you’re not trying to attract everybody, you’re not trying to like bring in the bringing the world to your doorstep, you’re trying to bring the people that care you’re trying to bring the people that actually, you know, resonate With your message, because, if you you know, if you talk about music, if you play guitar and you make music and you want to show other people how to play guitar and why playing guitar is awesome, you know and the the the variations of ways to play.

Guitar you’re not going to want you first not going to want someone that, like loves the drums, because they’re going to be like nah man drums are way better than guitar and then you’re just going to have somebody fighting with you the whole time. Instead, you want to find other people who are passionate about that thing. They’re passionate about playing the guitar. They want to learn how to play the guitar.

These are the people that you want to bring in your circle and be like hey c’mere. I have some cool stuff to share with you and they’re going to resonate because you’re speaking directly to them, so that’s going to be. The first thing is just to realize that, like it’s, it’s really more of a giving thing. It’s not so much about you! It’s about them and you’re, looking to figure out like how to really craft this building this hub this spot.

For that audience to come to you, so you can kind of bring them in and be like hey. This is a safe spot. Come hang out meet other people who are into this too I’m going to share some cool stuff with you help you accelerate your journey and your it’s going to be a great time right. So that’s going to be the first point, so you’re going to be looking to build a tribe that is into the same stuff that you’re into and we’ll get into it in other articles as to how you can really narrow this down.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1mp60eSCt6s

But that’s part one. That’s the main focus there now main. I guess part number two is after you really decide who you’re talking to and who your audience is and what that looks like for you you’re going to need to craft some content around what it is that these people need help with, and it’s again this has To come from a very giving place, it can’t come from this ego place because I know when I got started, it was kind of like well.

What do I want to learn? What do I want to share like? What do I feel comfortable sharing and talking about right – and maybe you have this experience too, however, when you’re, when you’re becoming an influencer and you’re you’re, really stepping into this role of more an educator and you’re? Looking to this like okay, this is my tribe. You know when you become an influencer you’re, not to sound intimidating, but you’re, really you’re.

Stepping up you know you’re stepping up and as an influencer you’re coming forward and you’re saying know what I feel like there’s a place that isn’t being done. How I want to do it, you know, I don’t feel like this audience is being served. The way I think they’re being served and that’s why you’re coming up and that’s why you want to be an influencer right. Is it so you can you can help people see the things that you see and understand and maybe find their own passion in what you’re teaching, like that’s the beauty of being an influencer, so in order to really reach out to them and grab them and grab Their attention and serve them, you got to put out content, that’s relevant to what they’re trying to learn and what they want to do and what their goals and dreams are, and the area that you’ll find is the easiest way to create.

Content is looking at what are their challenges? You know what, when you go on, like let’s say forums and we’ll go into more detail, if you guys are having trouble with this part, but you’re going to want to go into like Facebook groups, forums reddit’s like sub reddits YouTube blogs, you’re going to want to See what people are talking about and, more importantly, not other influences, but look to what the people in the comments say, and the people in the forums and people in the groups cuz.

It’s not the ones that are sharing successes, it’s the ones that are asking questions. It’s the people that are in those groups and they’re like how the heck do you do this? How the heck do you do this? How do you do this? How do you do this? I have a problem with this like if you go in there, you’re going to find a ton of people with some unique problems and some problems that you’re going to hear again and again and again – and these are the questions – these are the things these are – the People that you’re going to want to talk to you’re going to want to create content that helps and solves their problems.

So this is really going to help you build that audience that you’re trying to by creating content that’s very relevant to them. So we’re going to go straight into the third thing now. The third thing is: really: you know you have your tribe that you’re building you have the content that you’re putting out and the third thing is going to be engagement and the way that we were going to do this is is multiple ways, but first we’re going To keep it real, real, simple anything you put out that gets some form of likes comments or shares engage with those people.

You know whether it’s just a response and they go hey cool image cool. You know you know PDF whatever it is that you create, like. Oh cool post, whatever they say if they even just like put an emoji face, you put an emoji face whatever the response is just respond to it, because people want to feel understood, people want to feel like you care people want to feel like they belong. If that makes sense – and it’s it’s, it’s really something when and maybe maybe you’ve experienced this too.

It’s really something when you know people respond back to you, you know you you leave a. It does take a bit to write a comment. It takes a little bit of energy, a little mental capacity to stop what you’re doing you know, pull up the keyboard if it’s on your phone and just type something out like it does take energy. But when someone recognizes it and they go, and you say something like oh cool photo and then go hey thanks for checking it out.

You’re, you look at it and you go. Oh that’s! That’s kind of cool. You know not a lot of people do it. So you want to be that person that actually connects with the other viewer or with the other, the the person in your tribe. Essentially that checks out your thing. You know and joins your group and and checks out what you have to say and they leave a comment and you go all thanks for checking it out.

It does something it really kind of creates this. Like this, this gratitude, I don’t know it’s it’s hard to explain, but people want to feel understood. People want to be, you know, noticed, and I’m sure you guys have noticed that, maybe even in school, like you, you know you didn’t really get along with a lot of people. Maybe you felt isolated and what was it like when somebody you know just reached out to you and was like, like hey, you know, cool shoes or hey man, cool shirt like it’s just it’s this feeling of positivity and giving when you can actually like you know, Connect with that person on the other side, because not enough people do it and you will stand out so quickly when you are that person who does it as much as you can you know, obviously, as you grow the following and there’s more people commenting it’s you Know it’s a little harder to keep up with, but do your best like you see a leg, and you see somebody comment on your thing, be like hey thanks man thanks for checking it out, you know really appreciate it.

They’re, just they throw an emoji, you throw an emoji, but just respond to it. You know it makes the other person feel real good, so respond to comments. You know if you’re on Instagram be sure to like a bunch of people’s content and that’ll kind of help engage your audience. You know and they’ll notice that you actually take the time to like their stuff. You know so, if you’re liking some of your followers stuff.

That’s really helpful if you leave comments, that’s at a bonus point right there, but really focus on your hub, because otherwise this stuff gets really overwhelming. So when you post something and people leave comments, comment back, you know like their comments, whatever it is just really maximize that output, so do the same for YouTube articles, if you’re already making YouTube articles we’ll do that in another article, no, no worries there and Facebook.

If you leave a post on Facebook and people, you know respond to it, they share it just make sure to reach out to them and either PM them a private message or on the on the comment thread, just leave them a comment be like hey, thanks for Checking it out, man really appreciate it cool. Well, that’s a massive massive over. You overview of how to become an influencer and and what it means to be an influencer.

So just a quick recap: let’s bring it all back to one you’re building a tribe and this tribe is like-minded people who have a similar goal or they want to improve in the thing that you’re teaching so that step number one is building a tribe step. Number two is putting out the content like what problems is that audience having, and can you help them? What can you put out there? That’s going to be a valuable resource for your audience step.

Three is engagement and you’re going to want to talk to your audience. You’re going to want to respond to your audience and you just want to show them that you care. So that’s the recap. That’s the value and if you guys, are curious about learning more about becoming an influencer, I’m going to be posting more articles, but go ahead and also check the link below we have access to a a chorus buy through familiar with Ryan Hildreth.

How To Use Features Vs Benefits In Digital Marketing

There’s a big distinction between each of those by the end of this article, you’re going to have a clear picture on exactly what you should be talking about, how you should be positioning your brand or your product or your service, and really get some clarity about how To create a powerful marketing message: hey there, my name is brandon brashears and I create daily digital marketing articles.

So, if you’re trying to grow your brand or your business with digital marketing, this is a great place to learn. You should totally consider subscribing if you like, the article hit that thumbs up button and if you have any questions, comments need help with anything comment below happy to answer questions for you. So let’s talk about features and benefits. Features are very different from benefits because features.

What are what make up the product or the service to the things that you talk about and a lot of times when you see especially brands and businesses, doing their own marketing and their own digital marketing they’ll get into the trap of starting to talk all about The features of what they offer you’ll see this a lot too, with with real estate and service providers and just everybody when you’re so close to your solution and your service a lot of times.

You assume that people understand what the actual benefits are, but truly you have to get really really detailed about what are the benefits of your product and service and not just talk about the features so I’ll give you some examples here. Let’s say you are selling a bicycle, for example, in your bike shop here to sell bicycle. You start talking about all the things that make that bike cool. You start saying hey this bike.

Is you know it’s really lightweight and only weighs 11 pounds, and it has 11 speeds on the back and it has hydraulic brakes and it is made in the USA and all of these things that make the bike interesting people want to know about the features if You’re selling jewelry look at this. This an engagement ring, it’s made out of platinum and it has a two carat diamond and it’s this quality of diamond those things are definitely important.

It’s important to understand what you’re selling to be very specific about how you sell things and describe it well, but people don’t typically buy like through that. With that engagement ring example, it’s a perfect example: people don’t buy an engagement ring because it’s a flawless diamond because that is, you know somehow better. What does that flawless large diamond say about the person buying it? You know if we look at diamond rings and engagement rings.

That’s actually a perfect example and here’s why people that are buying engagement rings, especially larger, more expensive engagement rings. There’s not any actual need for that product right. If you don’t, you know, people can completely get married without having a two or three carat diamond and it mean even cubic zirconia looks the same. But what’s the difference? How do you sell that to somebody they’re not buying the diamond, because it’s a diamond and it’s going to be useful and it’s going to be long-lasting? If you think about it, diamonds are actually totally useless.

They are pretty to look at, but you know that’s specifically you’re buying status you’re, showing off what you’re, what you know, you’re your spouse has you’re saying: hey you’re valuable to me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Here’s this amazing, expensive gesture that I’m giving you right there’s so many additional meeting meanings that that ring actually represents, and that specifically, is the benefits when you’re thinking about your product or service, you know it doesn’t matter what you do.

You need to think about. The actual benefits of what it is that you’re offering to the person who wants that specific offer. So I mean this completely changes the marketing that you do it’s going to completely change the the way that you call out the audience. It’s going to change the way that you engage with the audience. It’s going to change the way that you talk to them. I’ll, give you some examples here.

I was doing some marketing for a software company and it was very busy professionals and it’s a software that helps them to reduce the amount of administrative work they have to do when they’re doing billing, and so I thought to myself. Well, we have this cool software. It can do all of these amazing things and the industry that we’re just working in was primarily female and they were primarily practice owners who the owners of the business who are busy they’re overwhelmed they’ve got so many things going on a lot of times.

They’re mothers – and so I said, let’s target in on a very specific subset of mothers who are busy and overwhelmed, and let’s tap into that mother guilt that they have right and we’re going to talk about. With this software we could say: hey the software’s better. You can allow you to capture more payments. It’s going to allow you to make more money. It’s going to allow you to work less on the business work more in the business there’s so many benefits right, but what we ended up doing was we tacked opt in on one of the primary benefits.

You don’t have to stay late, every night, filling out paperwork. That’s mindless, this gets done for you. You get to spend time on things that are actually important so like that is extremely powerful. Instead of just talking about the things that your product or service does you’re giving them more time with their family, we used images of a mom reading stories to little kids and people that are busy moms who work cuts to the cord they’re like geez.

I need to be home, I’m missing this. I don’t ever get this back. You see how different that is how powerful that is. If you are trying to sell something, if you say hey, this works better, it’s good for it. You should do it. Everybody knows. What’s good for them, everybody knows what they should be doing right. If everybody did what they knew, they should be doing. Everybody be eating vegetables, never eating candies, nobody would be smoking, nobody would be drinking and everybody would be super healthy.

But that’s just not the case right people do things because of emotion. They do things because of status. They get and they buy things not for the features they justify. Those features as logic, typically with the emotion on what it does for them. So that is a huge takeaway when you’re selling the benefits you usually can justify that really well with the features. So how do we break down what the actual benefits are now? I think that the best thing to do is to number one get clear about who your clients and customers are going to be and really define what their before state is, and what they’re after state is.

I have two articles that are very powerful for this, like what really really in-depth I’m going to cover it here, just a little bit. But if you click on these cards up here, you can go to both of them. One is defining your client avatar, and this is step one in any kind of marketing. That you’re doing you need to know who are you targeting and then number two you need to define what their before and what they’re after is digital marketing gives you the ability to get laser focused on your targeting on your demographics that you’re choosing on their psychographics.

That you’re choosing, and so you need to create marketing, that’s speaking to people specific people that you’re targeting you’re not trying to be. You know I was. I was seeing um I’ll, give you an example here I have one of my former clients who is doing ads and I see what they’re doing now and they are just being so bland they’re trying to reach everybody in corporate America and they’re ending up being extremely Boring and very very ineffective because they’re, just not talking to any group of people like think about Hertz rental cars, for example, no offense, Hertz rental cars, but anytime, I see their ads they’re just another commodity right, there’s no reason actually choose Hertz their ads and their Content super boring and, as a result, they’re not really speaking to any group of people you’re, just showing yourself as a commodity.

If you’re trying to reach everybody, then what’s going to happen, is you’re going to end up reaching nobody. What are the people that do reach with? You are going to choose you just for reasons like hey. This is a good price or it’s convenient or I need it right now, they’re not going to end up working with you because you’re making a better pitch and that’s how you make a better pitch to them. You say here are the benefits.

Are you this person? You have this problem. This is the promise that our brand banks – and this is what we’re going to do for you if you use our product or service – and I think that’s where benefits come in so features versus benefits. Features are important, but don’t fall into the trap of always talking about features. I hope this was helpful. If you have any questions, comments need help with anything comment below.

If you enjoyed this article be sure to subscribe, hit that thumbs up button, and I will see you on the next article have a fantastic day.

I know some of my clients, the crying foul, is because most of their online strategy was based on them being present on Facebook. But that’s the reason why we’re here so that we can help you. You know navigate the whole online space and also just to really really ask does any of you guys have a social media strategy if you’ve got one, can you type in the number one if you’ve got a source of media strategy? If you don’t, if you’re working on one, can you type in the number two if you need help working on one, can you type in the number three that would just give me an understanding of who is actually you know reading this show right now and what Do they possess come on guys, it’s 2018 tonight I mean and if you’re a small business doesn’t yet have a digital marketing strategy or a social media strategy by now, you’re, actually, being you know, you are already behind the competition? Alright, you are way beyond the competition Dean.

Can you also just type in the comments? What is it that you actually do so that I understand, maybe you need one or maybe you don’t need one all right. So that’s the reason why I’ve put together this article. It’s got at least off. You know some of the digital marketing strategies that I actually use that will get your business headed in the right direction, all right. So I want you to keep reading this so that you can learn more of some of the essential online marketing strategies that will actually put your business ahead off the competition, because, if you’re not doing this guess what your competition is actually doing it.

And if you don’t believe me tag your competitor in this article and then you’ll see why I’m talking about that? Alright, because, at the end of the day, what’s actually happening on, the market is if your competition is giving your audience or the people that you’re trying to reach out to a certain service or a certain way of dealing with them. Guess what happens? Guess what happens? Your audience and automatically anticipates that you they can also get it from you now.

If you are not giving it out, it’s going to be a problem now Dean says neither strategy mate. We can chat later absolutely and you can see what I’ve created here. I created a four-step system that you can literally plug and play into whatever it is that you’re doing, because everyone is out there. Looking for the right kind of client everybody out, there is looking to engage that audience and once you’ve engaged that audience, you want to convert them into lasting customers and then from there you’re going to need referrals from them and also ambassadors and advocates for your work.

So you know just type in the word blueprint, then Dean, so that I can actually shoot you through this blueprint. It all happens automatically. Don’t ask me how it all works out. Okay, so the first thing that you really need to do. I know every one of you guys is small to medium. No one is grossing anything above three million a year, so I can say you literally need to engage in what is called local search marketing all right.

So when people are around the corner from you all, they’re looking for yoga instructor near them or they’re looking for personal trainer near them, they’re looking for you know a marketing or a VA near them, you need to be found way. Audience is actually searching all right. You need to be seen way. Audience is actually searching because right about now nothing rivals a solid local search, marketing strategy for your small business.

Guess how I know that, because every time you’re out and about you just go Siri. What’s the nearest restaurant Siri? What’s the nearest ice-cream parlor Siri, what’s the nearest whatever shop you’re looking for that is all local search marketing and when you are driving around you just type into Google, maybe ice cream shop near me, Google generates you to the one that is closest within your vicinity.

Now can imagine if your business could be found by people that are lingering around your area of business right there, because all of that food traffic or all of those people that are within a hundred sort of meter or like a five kilometer radius. They could be people that are actually actively searching for your kind of core or your kind of product or service, but they won’t be able to see you in the newsfeed.

So local search marketing is where it’s at all right. How many of you guys are practicing any local search marketing tactics if you’re doing that, can you type in the number one? If you are thinking about it, can you type in the number two? If you have no idea what I just say, can you type in the number three cuz? I really want to make sure that we’re understanding this, because let me tell you something: at the end of the day, people are getting bombarded and they’re getting very confused as to how to actually proceed.

What strategy to use – and I see Anna – is actively doing local search marketing. So that’s that’s pretty good for you there, because nothing rivals local search if you’ve got a solid local search, marketing strategy for your small business, and I see for you you’re running and is it a co-op place for people to work in that people can come in? So that also really needs local search, because what what local search really is is its marketing that consists of you claiming and optimizing your business online listings and it actually shows up in relevant searches.

So if you’ve got Google my business, if it’s actually clearly, you know labeled what your work hours are, what you actually do, who you do it for people will come around to you. Let’s say you own, a local barber shop and somebody really needs desperately needs. A haircut or needs to get their hair done or they’re going to do is hair salon near me, and if your business is listed on Google or is listed on all the other search engines locally, you will be found there.

Do you not? I mean so. Those aren’t really relevant local searches that you don’t want to miss out on okay. So there’s a lot of elements that come around with you know: local search engine optimization, but when it’s done right it can actually put your business on the on the local map and its local branding that you’re also taking advantage of there. So it is one thing that you can actually start utilizing and doing right now, because your local customers are the people that are going to be loyal, they’re, the ones that can actually peddle.

What do you call it word-of-mouth, etc, etc. So you need to make sure they know of your own existence within their neighborhood. You know I mean, because they are also going to be made me searching for your your products and services all right and once you’ve branded with the people that are around you know. It’s it’s now easier for you to branch out, because now you have ambassadors so for a lot of people, local search is complicated.

You know the results won’t happen overnight or you know you can’t just do it once and then forget about it. It is best left to people that are actually actively involved with search engine optimization, which is what I do every single day of my life. So if it is something that you need help with, can you type in the number too so that I can help you optimize your business for local search engines and also, you know local directories all of those things you know that would help you get found by Our audience well, one when they’re, you know actively searching right, then, and then how many of you guys have optimized your website for mobile.

Can you type in the number one if your website is optimized for mobile the number two? If you are almost about to do it, the number three, if you need help with optimizing your your website for mobile, I just really need to see the level of you know intensity that you, you guys really have when it comes to marketing and branding your businesses. Now, if your optimized for mobile, please type in the number one, if you’re thinking about it, please type in the number two, if you need help with it type in the number three all right, because everyone else right now, you’re probably reading this article on mobile right Now almost 90 percent – I’m not quite sure, don’t quote me on this, but 90 % of the people that I see personally out.

They are utilizing a mobile phone, which means the accessing internet. You know using a mobile phone, so if your website has got all the bells and whistles for a desktop, not a lot of people are really using. You know the desktop or the laptop while they’re out of the back. So if your phone is your website is not, you know, optimized for mobile you’re missing out on a lot of traffic right there so have a look and see if it is something that you need help with, and if you really really need help with optimizing.

Your website for mobile typing, the number three and I’ll shoot you through something that you can look at right now to diagnose, to see if people can actually view your page okay for forum, while they’re searching you know, while they’re on their own on their mobile phone. You should also one other thing that a lot of people don’t realize is Google is a search engine, so you should, you know, optimize your website, first of all, for humans and also for search engines all right, so you should optimize your yoyo your website in a Way that people can actually read it and also that the the web crawlers on Google can also read it.

You know some people’s websites that I talk to right now. They still have a website that was created in 1997 between 1997 and 2017. There has been almost three changes with the Google algorithm, so if your website has not been changed in the last three years, you really need to take a look at that all right or if you created it within the last two years, then you should be fine. All right, so I mean, if you you haven’t created it, you know who you haven’t, changed it in the last three years.

It’s time to fix it, man and it’s time to fix it. I mean it’s 2018, you know for all we know we could actually be having phones that I just you know genetically owned. I don’t know modified to just stick in our ears and we don’t have to worry about even carrying a piece. It’s all coming. Have you seen apples, you know all you know earphones that you carry around all the time that are cordless. What is stopping them from on TV, something that he can insert into your ear that stays there and you don’t have to worry about it because right about now look at this.

If your website is not optimized for humans or for search engines, customers are getting impatient. You know we always talk about you know. The attention span is getting lower and lower and lower right. People now want instant results. So if they load up your website – and it takes more than three to four seconds – they’re already swiping right looking for something else – that loads up a bit faster – we now have so much shorter attention span.

So if your website is first of all clunky or an attractive, slow to load, it’s confusing to use people are just going to leave it, and then they take up what your competition has to offer. You know so you want to make sure that, first of all, it’s mobile-friendly, it’s easy to use, it’s easy to read and people can easily navigate it. The one thing that a lot of people have as a big big problem is, we are constantly as business people we’re constantly looking at our website.

We constantly know what it is that we are supposed to be doing. We constantly know what the website does what to press, but if somebody has only three seconds to look at it and then make a decision, are you giving them the opportunity, the right kind of information or the right going to you know buttons to press in order For them to go further either to book a call with you or to do whatever transaction you want off of them when they land on your website, so make sure that your website is loading quickly and because you not I mean customers will abandon the site, especially If you’ve got a shopping, cart, unday customers will live it if they have to go through hoops, and you know in order for them to to make a purchase, make it as easy and as seamless for them as possible and make sure that your site is really Really easy to navigate.

You know, because we’re dealing with a really small screen, so if you’ve got words that are spanning you know across the page, and you’ve got really big pictures that take up the whole screen. Guess what people don’t want to see that and don’t also forget to to end really really clean call to actions. Do not I mean and then tell your customer exactly what to do. This is what I have. This is what I want you to do, and this is why it’s safe to do it with me other than my competition.

You know, for example, you you, you can put a button at the head of your main page that says get directions or call today. That’s an instant call to action, because people are on their mobile phones. They will just easily click that button and then talk to somebody and make sure, on the other end of the line. There’s somebody like yourself who really knows what they’re talking about or not somebody who’s, just woken up.

People have no patience for you to get yourself together. You always got ta, be ready. That’s why I like what Will Smith says? Don’t try and say you need to be prepared. You always got ta, be ready so that you don’t have to get ready. You know you always got to be ready. Cuz. Now we live in a 24-hour global village. You know you need to stop thinking out of the 24-hour box. You never know where you’re you know, clients are going to be searching you from and what time they find you and what time they need to sprechen zie with you, so mobile optimization is also very important, like I said right now, if you’re on a computer or If you’re, looking at a computer or facing a computer press the button f12 alright, and then it will shrink your website so that you can see how it looks like online.

Alright, you’re right Anna says, love the point about why it’s safe to do so. Oh absolutely, Anna, look at this. Anyone with the t-shirts and a pair of sweatpants can start a business these days. You’re not I mean so. Your man worked so hard to get to where we at right now, and you know, we want to make sure that our clients know that we’ve got the social proof. We’ve got the goods and they are not just going to be throwing money.

You know into something: that’s not going to work for them and they’re not going to get value so yeah. You need to show the customer that, yes, it is safe to actually do business with me and that’s why you need to have SSL Certificates. All of that stuff, we could always talk about. If you book a coal with me, and then you know, we can figure out how we can actually help you by actively helping you.

The reason for this show today is to just show you all expand your mind. A little bit of what is possible and what you can actually do in order for you to actually be seen by our audience, since Facebook has sort of stopped them that the reach of pages. You know you know business pages in the newsfeed, alright, so about the mobile, optimization and stuff like that. Google will actually penalize a website if it’s not optimized for mobile.

You know, and the penalty is you’re not going to show up in the search engines, because they know that at least ninety two percent of their traffic is coming in from a mobile phone, and I just want to indulge you right now. Can you type in the number one if you’re reading this show on a mobile phone type in the number two, if you’re, using an iPad and type in the number three, if you’re, reading this on a laptop or type in the number? Four, if you’ve put me onto a big screen cuz, you can do that.

You know that right, if you’re in front of a smart TV right now, you can actually stop reading this show on a big screen. That’s pretty cool Julian Bundy Vidal. Has he got my man hope you had a fantastic weekend right there right see it’s mobile okay, so that’s where your your audience is also viewing from from the mobile phone all right. So also, once you you, your aesthetics, your website is looking cool.

It’s looking all mobile-friendly take advantage of what is called link building all right link building is is something that a lot of people don’t understand. Take it as if you’re going to be the president of your state all right, and then you have a lot of people. Voting for you, so every link that is coming from a credible site is like a vote for you. So the more you get votes from people that are from credible sites the higher the ranking you get when it comes to ranking your page.

All right is that is that an easy, I understand, um, you know um explanation to link building, because people forget or people are tricked into getting links from dubious sites which are not going to help them at all. You need very strong links that are coming from dot edu sites, dot, gough, dot, au. All of those credible sites are from University. You know sort of websites. That actually say. Yes, I think Julian’s website is credible.

I think look Maroni’s website is credible. Then you can show it to the rest of the people, because Google, if you want to understand it, it’s like a library every time somebody knocks on Google’s door through a search and is asking for a website or is searching for something. Google has to present that person with content that comes in to cinder in the way you know of a website, in the same way that a librarian gives you a book.

So they want to make sure that the book that they’re giving to you is a good book. It’s going to you know satisfy whatever questions you might have and that’s what Google also does. So you need to engage in really legitimate, whitehat link, building all right, um Nico says: have you got time to chat about public figure Facebook profile? Absolutely we can have a chat I’ll, send you through a link to my calendar, so that we can quickly have a chance and find out what it is that you are asking regarding that.

Okay. So what I’m talking about link building? These are the thoughts that your website is getting from other web sites. So you get these through blogging. You get these through guest blogging. Every time somebody mentions your website on their own website or when you, when, when you or your website, is mentioned by credible sites like Facebook et Cie, Google uses that as credibility, all right, so link building is a great way to actually show your search engines or Google or Bing or Yahoo that your website is actually popular, every link that you is like a vote.

So if you build links the right way, you know you getting very high quality links rather than a bunch of low quality spam links, because a lot of people just get spam links from India and most of them are linking to like porn sites. Those are not going to help you at all. You need relevant blogs and you need relevant links that are building. You know your the credibility of your own website and he will actually prove to Google that your small business website is relevant and is of high quality.

So so, whatever you’re doing right now, if you have been doing stuff with links and linking please find out from your web developer or web designer, are they using black hat tricks or are they using white hat? You know tricks right there and you can get your links from local news sites. They might run an article about you the moment they mention your your sites there. That’s a so find local business owners or bloggers that are willing to to link to your website as well, and you can also return the favor by writing blogs about them.

You know on your website so that you can, you know, share the juice links or you can do interviews with people and every time you put their website on there. They will also, you know, reciprocate by mentioning your website, which is also yet another vote for you Ray now Nichols under says people think they they don’t need a website. Well, those people – I don’t know what what worlds they live in because right now, if you really really look at it, Facebook has sort of cut the reach of you know the profile pages.

If that’s what you’re asking and you’re thinking you don’t need a website, then I also think that if you’re dealing with websites as your full marketing strategy, it’s like building a house on quicksand. You know during the summer all right when it starts raining. It’s going to it’s going to sink in. You know why, because Facebook is bourret, audience bourret, ground, burrowed territory. So if you don’t have your own platform to bring go back, how are you going to have credibility? How are you going to? How are you going to have anything to show that who are you as a person, because the one thing about Facebook is, you have to continuously repeat yourself for people to understand who you are look at what the Facebook newsfeed is like.

Nikhil you’ve got your ante. You’ve got your partner, you’ve got, you know somebody who is putting on an Advent and then you’ve got your profile or whatever. You know, profile page that you have. People are not coming to the Internet to see what you’re up to they’re coming to see what Sally or what auntie Sally’s cats are up to people that they actually know, and Facebook has caught on to that. So if you, unless maybe the your audience is people that live within your household, nobody cares all right.

So you should actually I mean, make people see things differently, but I feel like. If you don’t have a website, you actually don’t have a business. You actually don’t have a platform, because that’s what your you’re supposed to be having as a business, a platform that gives you the authority to sell. How do you sell to people if you don’t have your own website? Okay, one other thing that people should really look at is: do you know the keywords that people type into search for your kind of work? Can you just type in one keyword that you think people are using? You know to type your to find you maybe on Google, Bing or Yahoo can, or even if people are using to ask Siri to get to your business, what would they have typed in the search engine in order to get you know to where you are because Keyword research should actually be a mandatory part of every small business.

You know in your digital marketing strategy, because the way you’re going to write your contents the way you’re going to reach out to your audience. If you don’t know what they say about your business or how they find you or what words they use about your business, then you’ve lost them. I keep talking about this story about a about a dentist in manda. I think by now he’s read the message. Oh every time I walk past, there’s a sign outside that says: new patients.

Welcome, guess what I am NOT a patient. He might call me that, but I don’t identify myself as a patient. All right are you walking around saying? Oh, my god, I’m a patient! I’m looking for a dentist, no I’m a human being that has a sawtooth all right. So if you’re, not speaking to your audience in the language that they actually understand or in the way they see the world or in the way, they actually viewed themselves as you’ve lost them, trying to say what I mean.

So you need to really know what key words are your audience using to get to find you even on Facebook, even on whatever social media? What hashtags are they using to reach you? Because if you don’t know that, then you might as well close shop. You know cuz, you can use this business key words for so many things. You know because, right now you might be spraying and praying to your audience. If you don’t know the keywords that they use to find you, I suggest that you stop whatever you’re doing and actually go and use tools that will help you find out.

What are people saying about the business that we are presenting to them? You know and a great way to find out exactly what terms people are using to search you know for your services or your business products or or whatever it is that you do. There’s a there’s tools like you know, AdWords key planner. All right, you need to get on top of that Google Trends what people are actually typing into the search engines.

You can also use that to create content. That’s relevant, there’s also a tool called keyword, tool, dot IO. That will also show you what people are actually typing into the search engines so that they can find the type of work that you’re doing or even some such recommendations. Every time you you, you, you you, you read, you hit a block, find out if you’re a dentist find out what people are typing into Google and then use that to create your content.

You know every time Google tries to complete a search for you and Google. That means somebody has tried to type that into Google. You know all people are searching for all of those boxes. Those things help you figure out. What else are people looking for that? I can be of service to my audience, you know, and then you can insert those keywords into the pages of your website, just try and make it as natural as possible so that it makes sense within the content that you’re putting out in your blog posts.

You know, and one other thing that I don’t see a lot of people doing is actually asking for email addresses. You know as soon as somebody lands on that page. Can you tell me how many people have an email strategy within their business type in the number? One is you’ve got an email strategy type in the number two. If twenty eighteen is the year that you’re going to think about it type in the number three, if you need help with an email marketing strategy, you see because I can’t remember the last time I went through and lying in, a retail store or something like that, And the cashier didn’t even ask me for my email address: it’s become so natural now, if that people are coming to your website, maybe people are busy.

Maybe somebody is you know, fixing dinner or they’re trying to wipe their daughter’s bottle or whatever. It is because I’m talking about myself or they’re in public transport get their email address so that you can always send them relevant information. Depending on what landing page, they landed on your on your site because people just coming to your website and you’re not doing anything about them or retargeting them or trying to get them to get back to you.

That’s a waste of advertising money. If you’re advertising to get those leads, you know so yeah. That’s easy. It’s like a check-in checkout ask your customers for their email address and once you have your customers, email address, respect that don’t just spray and pray just because you know they’ve, given you the the email address, you now have to seek permission from them by being relevant By engaging them by actually educating them and inspiring them, while providing value and positioning yourself as a person that can serve them with whatever product you’ve got on them, because if you don’t there’s always online reviews, you know and online reviews, you can’t you can’t change them.

So don’t spam people but make sure you’re being relevant and that’s where it helps you actually own a space within the online space, because if you have people’s email addresses, you have given you permission to sell to them. You know, and then one other thing if you still are adamant that Facebook is the thing for you just give Facebook live and try. You know, try and if you’re doing it maybe twice a week, try and increase your life articles.

You know what, because people really now want to communicate. People really now need to see if you’re, the right kind of person who can sort out their needs, they need you to help them by actually helping them. So it can be a great way to actually add that human element to your small business marketing strategy. In any case, what are you too busy doing chasing shiny objects instead of creating and relating to your audience? You know so all of those people that you know one one thing that I want to advise you to do is when you are at a live event or at a geek, try not to get too excited and go alive, because people are expecting to see you And one thing happens is I’m talking about me personally and then they don’t see you.

They see other people then automatically you’ve. Given that person they’re reading all the credibility and that’s it you’ve lost that person only try and go live when it’s you or it’s something to do with you tonight I mean because that person also has people that can take a live article off of them. So you know it’s just an option that enables you to connect with your customers in a more personal level.

So don’t abuse it do not. I mean just like right now, I’m really being considerate of what people are saying and also engaging them in a certain way. You know – and this is a bonus if you go like on Facebook or maybe on Instagram, your followers would actually start getting notifications that tell them that your life, so don’t take advantage of that. If people notice that your colleague real content is not valuable, then they’re just going to skip and the more your articles don’t get seen the more Facebook puts them down the you know the the the ranking order so yeah, it’s just one of those things.

I really hope this article is going to help you, because a lot of people really are lost right now as to what to do how else to reach out to their audience. And I really want to help you by actually helping you, because all these strategies that I’m talking about this is just top off the cuff type. I’m you know stuff that you know when we sit down. I really want to personalize it, and you know with you.

So that we can actually help you be, do and have a business, that’s profitable and enjoyable type in the number three, if you’ve readed it up until now, and you really have questions that you want me to personally answer pertaining to your business in the meantime. Thank you so much for tuning in and enjoy the ratio that
